Health Advisory on Substance Use during the Jazz Season

As citizens and visitors come together for the Jazz season, the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Nutrition also reminds everyone to pay due attention to their health and safety, and that of others around them.

Individuals participating in Jazz events are encouraged to avoid the overconsumption of alcoholic beverages. If you are a motorist, you should not be consuming alcohol, as this poses a risk to you, as well as other road users. Alcohol impairs judgment and can blur vision.
