- 3:32Speaker 3: Story number one US House panel has subpoenaed Bill and
- 3:36Speaker 3: Hillary Clinton for Epstein testimony. The House Oversite Committee also
- 3:42Speaker 3: issuing subpoenas for several former attorney generals and FBI directors. Now,
- 3:47Speaker 3: the House Oversite Committee, led by James Comer, issuing the
- 3:50Speaker 3: subpoenas to Bill and Hillary Clinton, as well as these
- 3:53Speaker 3: other that I mentioned a moment ago, as well as
- 3:56Speaker 3: directors of the FBI. What are they demanding testimony relay
- 4:00Speaker 3: to the horrific crimes perpetrated by Jeffrey Epstein. Now, to
- 4:04Speaker 3: be very clear, these subpoenas are going to some of
- 4:06Speaker 3: the most powerful political figures of the past three decades,
- 4:11Speaker 3: and they will testify in the investigation centering around Epstein.
- 4:16Speaker 3: I want to give you the list that was put
- 4:18Speaker 3: out so that you understand who all is going to
- 4:21Speaker 3: be testifying. Those that are now under subpoena are number one,
- 4:25Speaker 3: former US Attorney General Bill Barr. He will give his
- 4:28Speaker 3: testimony August the seventeenth or eighteenth. Then the former US
- 4:33Speaker 3: Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez August the twenty six, Former US
- 4:37Speaker 3: Attorney General Jeff Sessions August the twenty eighth, former ABI
- 4:41Speaker 3: director Robert Mueller September the second, former US Attorney General
- 4:45Speaker 3: Loretta Lynch September the ninth, former US Attorney General Eric
- 4:49Speaker 3: Holder September the thirtieth, Attorney General Merrick Garland October the second,
- 4:53Speaker 3: and then former ABI director James Comy October seventh, former
- 4:58Speaker 3: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton October the ninth, and former
- 5:02Speaker 3: President Bill Clinton October the fourteenth. If you look at
- 5:05Speaker 3: the subpoena timeline, it's very clear this is going among
- 5:09Speaker 3: both conservative and liberals, and it seems to be building
- 5:13Speaker 3: towards the big questions for former President Bill Clinton and
- 5:16Speaker 3: Hillary Clinton. In October, Now, the House Oversight Committee, through
- 5:20Speaker 3: Chairman Comer, subpoena the Department of Justice for all records
- 5:24Speaker 3: related to Jeffrey Epstein in accordance with a bipartisan vote
- 5:28Speaker 3: by the Federal Law Enforcement Subcommittee on July the twenty third.
- 5:32Speaker 4: Now.
- 5:32Speaker 3: That vote included an amendment from Representative Summer Lee, a
- 5:36Speaker 3: Democrat from Pennsylvania, to expand the scope of the DOJ
- 5:39Speaker 3: subpoena in a separate motion that was also introduced by
- 5:42Speaker 3: Representative Scott Perry, a Republican from Pennsylvania, and then it
- 5:46Speaker 3: was approved by a voice vote. The subcommittee then directed
- 5:50Speaker 3: the chairman to compel testimony from Bill and Hillary Clinton,
- 5:54Speaker 3: along with several former US Attorney generals and FBI directors.
- 5:58Speaker 3: The move is part of the committee's quote broader investigation
- 6:02Speaker 3: into the federal government's handling of the Epstein case. And
- 6:05Speaker 3: associated individuals, including Maxwell. You'll remember her as the woman
- 6:10Speaker 3: who is in prison, Epstein's longtime accomplice who is currently
- 6:14Speaker 3: serving a twenty year sentence for sex trafficking of miners.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Bill Clinton's documented interactions with Jeffrey Epstein also include multiple
- 6:25Speaker 3: flights aboard the now famous Loureti Express, according to his
- 6:28Speaker 3: own twenty twenty four memoir Citizen, My Life after the
- 6:32Speaker 3: White House. In the book, Clinton acknowledged the flights but
- 6:36Speaker 3: downplayed the relationship, writing quote, I wish I'd never met him.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Epstein also, by the way, visit the White House at
- 6:42Speaker 3: least seventeen times alone. In nineteen ninety three, during Clinton's
- 6:47Speaker 3: first year in office. It was also reported by bright
- 6:51Speaker 3: Bart News that the Department of Justice filed a motion
- 6:54Speaker 3: in the United States District Court for the Southern District
- 6:56Speaker 3: of New York to unseal grand jury transcripts as associated
- 7:00Speaker 3: with Epstein's indictment, penning court approval. The move, made at
- 7:04Speaker 3: the direction of the Attorney General, also comes amid mounting
- 7:07Speaker 3: Congressional scrutiny of the DOJ's leadership. It's past and present leadership,
- 7:12Speaker 3: including the former FBI directors James Comy, and Robert Mueller,
- 7:17Speaker 3: both of whom have been subpoena to testify before that
- 7:19Speaker 3: House Oversight Committee.
- 7:21Speaker 4: Now.
- 7:21Speaker 3: During in exchange with the reporters on July the twenty fifth,
- 7:24Speaker 3: President Trump criticized the media for focusing on accusations against him,
- 7:29Speaker 3: while in his view, ignoring former President Clinton's connection to
- 7:33Speaker 3: Jeffrey Epstein, saying, quote, you ought to be speaking about
- 7:35Speaker 3: Bill Clinton, who went to the island twenty eight times.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Trump said, Then he said, I never went to the island.
- 7:42Speaker 3: So here we are. We have the actual paperwork that's
- 7:45Speaker 3: been filed. These subpoenas have been unleashed, and Clinton Comy
- 7:49Speaker 3: Garland Mueller are now ordered to testify in the Jeffrey
- 7:53Speaker 3: Epstein probe. The goal here to finally get answers, and
- 7:57Speaker 3: it is answers that now span for a thirty year
- 8:02Speaker 3: period and something that every American deserves to.
- 8:05Speaker 4: Hear the truth on now.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Story number two.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Donald Trump promised that he was going to put America first,
- 8:10Speaker 3: and he promised that he was going to do it,
- 8:12Speaker 3: especially when it came to trade deals where America was
- 8:15Speaker 3: being taken advantage of by countries literally all over the world.
- 8:19Speaker 3: And he was going to do it by imposing more
- 8:20Speaker 3: tariffs to make it fair trade. He was tired of
- 8:23Speaker 3: American jobs disappearing, American manufacturing disappearing, and again America just
- 8:30Speaker 3: being taken advantage of by countries that had no problem
- 8:33Speaker 3: importing their goods in the US, but weren't even taking
- 8:36Speaker 3: our goods, and even in places like the UK a
- 8:39Speaker 3: strong ally of ours. Well, now we're hearing that Donald
- 8:43Speaker 3: Trump could impose more tariffs on China over Russian oil.
- 8:48Speaker 4: But here's the point that I want to make before
- 8:50Speaker 4: we get to that. The media was wrong.
- 8:52Speaker 3: They claimed it was all doom and gloom, tariffs weren't
- 8:55Speaker 3: going to work, that it was going to be bare
- 8:57Speaker 3: shelves for the Americans as you went to your favorite
- 8:59Speaker 3: store to get basic necessities, and then it was going
- 9:03Speaker 3: to put us into a recession. None of that happened.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Larry Kudlow at Fox News Channel saying this.
- 9:09Speaker 5: Yeah, and you know, I remember when everyone said the
- 9:12Speaker 5: market would crash, inflation would skyrocket because of these terroriffts.
- 9:16Speaker 5: But that's not what's happening. And now you've got billions
- 9:19Speaker 5: of dollars coming in. Larry, I want to go I
- 9:21Speaker 5: want to pivot in here, because yeah.
- 9:24Speaker 6: That's an important point though, just to you know, we're
- 9:27Speaker 6: thirty seconds here. All the gloom and doom, tariff inflation,
- 9:32Speaker 6: tariff recession, tariff catastrophe, none of that has happened. Okay.
- 9:36Speaker 6: And in fact, as you noted earlier, the tariff revenues
- 9:40Speaker 6: are pouring in. Okay, he could do as much as
- 9:43Speaker 6: four hundred billion this year alone in tariff revenues. Imports
- 9:49Speaker 6: from China, or let's say, Chinese exports to the United States,
- 9:53Speaker 6: all right, their lowest point in over twenty years. Our
- 9:57Speaker 6: trade deficit through June is that it's Oh's point in
- 10:01Speaker 6: the last two years. Okay. These are all positives, And
- 10:05Speaker 6: basically what he's saying is he wants a level playing
- 10:08Speaker 6: field and he wants to protect the American economy. People
- 10:11Speaker 6: have been taking advantage of the United States and that's
- 10:14Speaker 6: coming to an end now. Instead of warfare, you know,
- 10:17Speaker 6: set of retaliation or the so called world tariff war, no,
- 10:22Speaker 6: it's deal making, deal making everywhere the deal maker in
- 10:25Speaker 6: chiefe place, yes, exactly. And you know a place like Japan,
- 10:30Speaker 6: which is difficult, or South Korea, which is difficult, or
- 10:33Speaker 6: the European Union which is difficult. So I would say
- 10:37Speaker 6: he's gotten off to a great start on this policy.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Not only has he gotten off to a great start,
- 10:42Speaker 3: but other countries are starting to come to the table
- 10:44Speaker 3: quickly to make sure they get their deal done as
- 10:47Speaker 3: fast as they can now. The presidents also talked about
- 10:51Speaker 3: what he's going to do with pharmaceuticals, making it clear
- 10:54Speaker 3: that he is going to be putting tariffs on pharmaceuticals.
- 10:57Speaker 4: Why because he wants them made.
- 10:59Speaker 3: In our country and not us depending on other nations
- 11:02Speaker 3: like China from a national security standpoint. Listen to President
- 11:06Speaker 3: on CNBC on.
- 11:07Speaker 7: That chips We'll be putting a initially small tariff on pharmaceuticals,
- 11:12Speaker 7: but in one year, one and a half year's maximum,
- 11:14Speaker 7: it's going to go to one hundred and fifty percent,
- 11:17Speaker 7: and then it's going to go to two hundred and
- 11:19Speaker 7: fifty percent because we want pharmaceuticals made in our country.
- 11:22Speaker 7: And that's not the chipsack like Biden did because he
- 11:25Speaker 7: didn't know what he was doing, where they gave billions
- 11:27Speaker 7: of dollars to companies that had more money than they
- 11:29Speaker 7: knew what to do with.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Which brings me to the new point that Donald Trump
- 11:33Speaker 3: is making the new frontier on tariffs. We're now being
- 11:37Speaker 3: told from the White House. The President Trump is now
- 11:39Speaker 3: saying he will announce further tariffs on China, similar to
- 11:43Speaker 3: the twenty five percent duties announced earlier on India over
- 11:47Speaker 3: its purchases of Russian oil, depending on what happens. He said,
- 11:52Speaker 3: it could happen, Trump told reporters after saying he expected
- 11:55Speaker 3: to announce more secondary sanctions aimed at pressuring Russia to
- 12:00Speaker 3: and it's war in Ukraine. He said, quote, it may happen.
- 12:03Speaker 3: I can't tell you yet. We did it with India,
- 12:06Speaker 3: We're doing it probably with a couple of others. One
- 12:09Speaker 3: of them could be China. Trump on Wednesday imposed an
- 12:12Speaker 3: additional twenty five percent tariff on Indian goods on top
- 12:17Speaker 3: of a twenty five percent tariff anounced previously, citing its
- 12:21Speaker 3: continued purchases of Russian oil.
- 12:24Speaker 4: Now, the White House order did.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Not mention China, which is another big purchaser of Russian oil.
- 12:30Speaker 3: Last week, the Treasury Secretary Scott Dessent warned China that
- 12:34Speaker 3: it could also face new tariffs if it continued buying
- 12:37Speaker 3: the Russian oil. So China is also responding to this
- 12:41Speaker 3: as well, and there is escalation between the two countries.
- 12:45Speaker 3: As China pushes back at the US with their own
- 12:48Speaker 3: comments against the president, Here's what they said. China quote
- 12:52Speaker 3: will always ensure its energy supply in ways that serves
- 12:56Speaker 3: our national interest, is what the Chinese Foreign Ministry posted
- 13:00Speaker 3: on acts following two days of trade negotiations in Stockholm.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Responding to the US threat of one hundred percent tariff
- 13:08Speaker 3: coercion and pressuring will not achieve anything. China will firmly
- 13:13Speaker 3: defended sovereignty, security and development interest, the ministry went on
- 13:17Speaker 3: to say.
- 13:17Speaker 4: Now the response is.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Notable at a time when both Beijing and Washington are
- 13:22Speaker 3: signaling optimism and goodwill between the two countries when it
- 13:27Speaker 3: comes to well getting a deal done after climbing down
- 13:31Speaker 3: from sky high tariffs and harsh trade restrictions. It also
- 13:34Speaker 3: underscores China's confidence in playing hardball, the country says when
- 13:38Speaker 3: dealing with President Trump and his administration, especially when trade
- 13:42Speaker 3: is linked to its energy and foreign policies. The President
- 13:46Speaker 3: saying I'm not afraid and making it clear that if
- 13:49Speaker 3: you're buying from Russia, it's going to be a problem
- 13:52Speaker 3: for the United States of America. And that's exactly why
- 13:55Speaker 3: the President's continuing to keep the course because the tariffs
- 13:58Speaker 3: seem to be working.
