- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. I need everybody today,
- 2:15Speaker 1: everybody that's listening. I need you to catch fire today.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I want you to catch fire today. You want to
- 2:24Speaker 1: phrase it another way, I want you to catch on
- 2:27Speaker 1: fire today. But I need you to catch fire today.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I need today to be today that you stop complaining
- 2:35Speaker 1: and you do something. Do you know why a lot
- 2:39Speaker 1: of people can't move forward in their life because they
- 2:41Speaker 1: complaining about their past? They always complaining, man about something?
- 2:46Speaker 1: Is that explains the reason why they are. Let me
- 2:50Speaker 1: help you with this right here. If you are steady
- 2:53Speaker 1: complaining about the reason you are, you know if I
- 2:56Speaker 1: hadn't have met this man, if I hadn't been involved
- 2:59Speaker 1: with this one, and if I hadn't have had this baby,
- 3:02Speaker 1: if I had to never went down there, if I
- 3:04Speaker 1: hadn't got arrested, if I hadn't it this, if I
- 3:07Speaker 1: hadn't it if I had to just finish school, if
- 3:09Speaker 1: I hadn't a hey, hey, hey, stop stop all that
- 3:14Speaker 1: stuff that you're complaining about, everything that you keep allowing
- 3:19Speaker 1: to resonate with you as a reason to justify and
- 3:23Speaker 1: explain you're not being successful. Can I share something with
- 3:27Speaker 1: you about all of that? Guess what it is. You
- 3:30Speaker 1: didn't got past all of it. You didn't had the baby,
- 3:35Speaker 1: you got arrested, they didn't kill you, You didn't finish school,
- 3:38Speaker 1: but you still standing. You met that man, he gone,
- 3:41Speaker 1: He involved with two other women. Right now, I got
- 3:44Speaker 1: three other kids. Guess what. You still here and the
- 3:47Speaker 1: baby's here. You got over all the injustices that were
- 3:51Speaker 1: done to you. You got something happened to you when
- 3:53Speaker 1: you was a kid. You're an adult now. Somebody did
- 3:56Speaker 1: something to you when you was a little boy. Guess
- 3:59Speaker 1: what you were man? Now, some thing's happened to you
- 4:03Speaker 1: that you haven't found closure on the person that you're
- 4:06Speaker 1: looking for closure from has moved on. Can I tell
- 4:10Speaker 1: you that everything that has happened to you do you
- 4:13Speaker 1: know you've gotten past it? So why are you steady
- 4:17Speaker 1: complaining about what has happened to you that has caused
- 4:21Speaker 1: you to be in this position? But do you understand
- 4:24Speaker 1: that it's prohibiting you from moving forward? Stop complaining today,
- 4:28Speaker 1: catch fire. Let your pass be your pass. I've told
- 4:32Speaker 1: us to you a hundred times on this radio, but
- 4:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna say it again. Bishop Jakes told me something
- 4:37Speaker 1: man that helped me so greatly. You can't drive your
- 4:41Speaker 1: car if you're gonna keep looking in the rearview mirror.
- 4:45Speaker 1: That's why the windshield is huge. The windshield is huge.
- 4:51Speaker 1: The rearview mirror is this tiny thing that sits up there.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Now all is far. It's so you can see stuff
- 4:58Speaker 1: that's coming up on you. All the review mirror for
- 5:02Speaker 1: is so you can assure yourself or listen to this.
- 5:06Speaker 1: The review mirror is impt there to assure you that
- 5:09Speaker 1: you've cleared something. See. That's what the review mirrors for.
- 5:13Speaker 1: So when you pass it corn you want to switch lanes,
- 5:16Speaker 1: you can glance updre and it says, okay, you're clear.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Now you passed it. You can switch lanes. That's all
- 5:22Speaker 1: the review mirrors for. It ain't for you to stare
- 5:25Speaker 1: at and dictate your life with what you're tripping for. Man,
- 5:28Speaker 1: catch fire today today, man quick complaining about everything that
- 5:34Speaker 1: had happened to you? Life is ten percent. What happens
- 5:37Speaker 1: to you is ninety percent. What you do about what
- 5:40Speaker 1: happens to you? What are you going to do about it?
- 5:44Speaker 1: So what I got all this? Look, man, your story
- 5:47Speaker 1: ain't no deeper than nobody else's. I can tell you
- 5:50Speaker 1: I was homeless for three years. It's people been homeless
- 5:53Speaker 1: for thirty years. How long I'm gonna ride that out? Man?
- 5:58Speaker 1: You know I can't do nothing right now. I fell
- 6:01Speaker 1: on hard times and I lost my place to stay.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Why are you staying now? See the majority of people
- 6:09Speaker 1: are staying somewhere right now. I was out there. I
- 6:12Speaker 1: didn't have nowhere to go. I'm in a shelter now.
- 6:15Speaker 1: You was under the bridge a week ago. You're in
- 6:17Speaker 1: the shelter. Now. Why are you still crying about the bridge?
- 6:22Speaker 1: You're in the shelter now, man, People, Man, we trip
- 6:27Speaker 1: ourselves out by complaining. I'm asking everybody today to catch
- 6:31Speaker 1: fire today, stop complaining, do something today. Get excited. Now
- 6:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna say something that I'm going to have to explain.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Get excited about your life. You know, the best way
- 6:43Speaker 1: to get excited about your life is to find your
- 6:45Speaker 1: purpose in your life. Oh, Steve, got to explained that one,
- 6:48Speaker 1: don't you. Yep, I knew. I knew it before I
- 6:50Speaker 1: said it. As soon as I said it, I said them.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Had to explain this right here because if people always
- 6:54Speaker 1: be talking about you, say something you don't mean. See
- 6:56Speaker 1: what I do is when I say something, I give
- 6:58Speaker 1: you then explanation for it, so you can stop all
- 7:01Speaker 1: that I ain't no, I ain't no. Listen to me.
- 7:04Speaker 1: You got to get excited about your life. And the
- 7:06Speaker 1: best way to get excited about your life is to
- 7:08Speaker 1: find your purpose. Now, okay, Steve, That's what I've been
- 7:11Speaker 1: struggling with. I can't find my purpose. Yes you can,
- 7:16Speaker 1: Yes you can. You know how you find your purpose
- 7:20Speaker 1: you get in touch with who created you, because when
- 7:24Speaker 1: God made you, he had a purpose in mind. Now
- 7:28Speaker 1: we've ignored it and we haven't tapped into it, but
- 7:32Speaker 1: we all had a purpose. You don't, and it's sometimes
- 7:34Speaker 1: it take people longer to discover the purpose. Colonel Sanders
- 7:39Speaker 1: was frying chicken with a recipe that he was telling
- 7:42Speaker 1: people was the best chicken in the world. Ain't nobody
- 7:45Speaker 1: believe him till he turned seventy? Why you think the
- 7:50Speaker 1: dude that's only Kentucky fried chicken signs is old. That
- 7:55Speaker 1: dude ain't twin it up that he oh he oh,
- 7:59Speaker 1: But you know what, he had been frying that chicken
- 8:04Speaker 1: for forty some years. They just found out about it
- 8:08Speaker 1: when he was seventy. But he didn't give up his
- 8:12Speaker 1: purpose in life. This dude was just frying chicken. See,
- 8:15Speaker 1: people keep looking for their gifts in all kinds of
- 8:18Speaker 1: places when it's right there in you. You ain't got
- 8:20Speaker 1: to go to school to find your gift. You're born
- 8:23Speaker 1: with the gift to God, God for you. You'll go
- 8:26Speaker 1: to school to tack it on to something else. But
- 8:29Speaker 1: your gift was already given to you. You were born
- 8:32Speaker 1: with that. You don't have to go to college to
- 8:33Speaker 1: know your guilt. Your college allows you to enhance it,
- 8:36Speaker 1: it to find something to attach it to, and hopefully
- 8:39Speaker 1: you get a degree that attaches your gift to a
- 8:43Speaker 1: vehicle where it can work. The problem with college is
- 8:46Speaker 1: we go to college and we attach it to what
- 8:48Speaker 1: we like or what we might be passionate about, and
- 8:51Speaker 1: we ignore the gift we have. You know how many
- 8:53Speaker 1: people and graduating from college ain't doing nothing they went
- 8:55Speaker 1: to college for. Come on, man, you know why, because
- 8:58Speaker 1: you're discovering life, your guilt. You discover what you was
- 9:01Speaker 1: born to do. I wasn't bought. You know what I mean.
- 9:04Speaker 1: You know what my major was in college? It was advertising.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I can't be in no death, drawing, no picture for nobody.
- 9:11Speaker 1: But now guess what I can wake up every day
- 9:13Speaker 1: and guess what I can tell you? I advertise. I've
- 9:16Speaker 1: been advertising my career. Come see me live. Come see
- 9:19Speaker 1: me live at Madison Square Garden. Come see me live
- 9:23Speaker 1: at Phillips Arena. Come see me live at Joker's Comedy Club.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Come see me live at Pursy's. Come see me live
- 9:29Speaker 1: at Ellis's Tavern. Come see me live. Come. I've been
- 9:32Speaker 1: advertising the whole time, but I had a different purpose
- 9:36Speaker 1: in mine because I went and I talked to God.
- 9:39Speaker 1: And this is how you do it. You go talk
- 9:41Speaker 1: to God and say, hey God, look okay, this is
- 9:43Speaker 1: the deal. I've been struggling here. I'm over forty. I
- 9:48Speaker 1: still haven't found my purpose in life. Okay, but so
- 9:51Speaker 1: I can quit wasting any more time? Would you help
- 9:54Speaker 1: direct me and guide me to my purpose? I know
- 9:57Speaker 1: you created me to do something. I havn't found what
- 10:01Speaker 1: it is. And the reason I haven't found what it
- 10:03Speaker 1: is because I've been doing things my way. I ain't
- 10:05Speaker 1: been checking what you confirmed with you on anything. I
- 10:08Speaker 1: ain't locked in or tried to settle it up with you.
- 10:11Speaker 1: I've been just doing my thing. Well, my thing has
- 10:13Speaker 1: gotten me as far as it can get me. How
- 10:16Speaker 1: about you take over and do your thing now? Can
- 10:19Speaker 1: you direct me in my path? I'm an open book.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Treat me like a piece of clay. I'm telling you, man,
- 10:26Speaker 1: if you go to God, he'll give it to you.
- 10:28Speaker 1: But see you have not because you ask not. How
- 10:32Speaker 1: many times have you asked God for it? This ain't
- 10:37Speaker 1: no magic trick, y'all. This is the deal. You got
- 10:40Speaker 1: to catch fire today. Catch fire today, I am. I'm
- 10:44Speaker 1: excited about today. I've got a lot to do. I've
- 10:47Speaker 1: got to go out here and see what God God
- 10:49Speaker 1: for me today. I'm shaking the bushes man, if God
- 10:52Speaker 1: passing our blessings, I'm in line. I am in line.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You're listening. Ladies and gentlemen, man, have your undivided attention. Please.
- 11:06Speaker 1: There's a reason I need your undivided attention because this
- 11:09Speaker 1: hill is mona show. We've used to do something that not.
- 11:14Speaker 1: I gonna need your tension. Quiet, quiet on the set,
- 11:22Speaker 1: shut out, back down. I said, quiet on the set.
- 11:30Speaker 1: That studio talk I can't do right here. That's why
- 11:37Speaker 1: we need your attention. Piece, please cause people in the
- 11:40Speaker 1: back night of listening. Steve Harvey Morning Show, Shirley Strowb. Hey,
- 11:43Speaker 1: good morning, Steve. Calli Fran, Good morning, Steve, what approve?
- 11:48Speaker 1: What up? Julian morning? What's up? Tommy? Ya? Yain't what
- 11:52Speaker 1: to do? Yeah? Making it happen? Everything just everything is everything.
- 11:56Speaker 1: It is well for me, and that's a good thing.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I'll see you over there. Better better than doing being
- 12:07Speaker 1: dead and bad. I like a live anyway you're dead
- 12:11Speaker 1: and bad, even a living bad. You got a chance, Yeah,
- 12:16Speaker 1: alive and bad, you could change. I had a live bad. Yeah.
- 12:22Speaker 1: And then you don't want to just be alive. You
- 12:23Speaker 1: want to ride, you know, because some people are alive
- 12:26Speaker 1: and they're just surviving barely a lot, you know, an
- 12:28Speaker 1: existing Yeah, existing you want and ain't nobody did told
- 12:32Speaker 1: us it was all right though, ain't nobody? They ain't
- 12:34Speaker 1: heard nobody said new no you ain't. He and nobody
- 12:39Speaker 1: came back sitting. It's all right. It's a good thing, dude,
- 12:44Speaker 1: we got breakfast. Even people that I heard say have
- 12:48Speaker 1: died and come back, they didn't. They didn't say nothing
- 12:51Speaker 1: because their background thing they came back, didn't that white
- 12:54Speaker 1: room they was in, they ain't mentioned no beauty in
- 12:56Speaker 1: it towards the life of Yeah, just do heaven. Yeah,
- 13:02Speaker 1: this is deep, isn't it. Were just trying to appreciate.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Thank you, That's all it is. Up, Yes, ain't what's
- 13:12Speaker 1: going on? What the president do? I've been at work
- 13:18Speaker 1: all night, so you know, I probably missed a lot.
- 13:20Speaker 1: What do you do? You gotta take a break from
- 13:22Speaker 1: it sometimes because it's you much. It's too much, dup,
- 13:27Speaker 1: too many lies. No one's calling him on the lies.
- 13:31Speaker 1: He just doing whatever he wants. Well, you know what,
- 13:36Speaker 1: after the Muller probe came out, Yeah, I haven't really
- 13:40Speaker 1: watched it, the summary of them, because I'm watching all
- 13:43Speaker 1: these people talking about You know, there's no collusions. Victory
- 13:46Speaker 1: for Trump, and you know, but that means that some
- 13:49Speaker 1: other stuff that he didn't say. I think more importantly
- 13:52Speaker 1: what he didn't say. I'm so sick of that man.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Why don't we Why don't the Democrats try to find
- 13:58Speaker 1: a damn candidate date instead of talking about him? Because
- 14:02Speaker 1: guess what, who are you talking to about him? His
- 14:06Speaker 1: base is not going to change at all? And if
- 14:10Speaker 1: you're talking to us, we already know you, right, So
- 14:12Speaker 1: what you want? Now? Okay? We agree? Right right? You
- 14:18Speaker 1: appreaching to the choir we at the church. We know
- 14:23Speaker 1: he ain't proposed to be in that body in that
- 14:25Speaker 1: What are we're gonna do to replace him? No ideas?
- 14:29Speaker 1: All right? Coming up at thirty two after the hours, Steve,
- 14:32Speaker 1: we're gonna do some sports talk. Victory for the NFL
- 14:36Speaker 1: Saints head coach Sean Payton with the new NFL pass
- 14:39Speaker 1: interference rule. We'll talk about that right after this. You're
- 14:43Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, so
- 14:48Speaker 1: we all remember the painful NFC championship game. You guys
- 14:51Speaker 1: remember this between the Saints and the Rams, right, the
- 14:55Speaker 1: La Rams? Yeah, especially Tosh Right, Carla he wach he
- 15:00Speaker 1: was very upset. Huh, my husband steal ain't recovering in
- 15:04Speaker 1: baseball season when the officials missed the past interference called
- 15:09Speaker 1: during the fourth quarter and the Saints lost and the
- 15:12Speaker 1: Rams advanced to the Super Bowl. Not to mention, there
- 15:15Speaker 1: were also miss calls during the Super Bowl fifty two
- 15:18Speaker 1: between the Patriots versus Rams. So now, the NFL owners
- 15:22Speaker 1: voted Tuesday to allow replay reviews on pass interference calls
- 15:28Speaker 1: as well as non calls. All right, The coaches will
- 15:32Speaker 1: now have the opportunity to challenge pass interference calls or
- 15:36Speaker 1: non calls outside of two minutes of each half, while
- 15:39Speaker 1: the booth will automatically automatically review any close calls inside
- 15:44Speaker 1: of two minutes. Again, coaches still will have two challenges
- 15:48Speaker 1: per game, and in the final two minutes of a
- 15:51Speaker 1: half or fourth quarter or for all of overtime, the
- 15:55Speaker 1: replay official can order a review of offensive or defensive
- 15:59Speaker 1: pass interference. An official can I don't know what I
- 16:02Speaker 1: just said anytime talking on yourself, Okay, let me hear
- 16:08Speaker 1: your pay from Let me see something because I got
- 16:10Speaker 1: to read somethingcause Sultan, I can't ask her to go
- 16:13Speaker 1: back on I have no idea. So now NFL owners
- 16:17Speaker 1: voted to used to allow replay reviews of pass inference
- 16:21Speaker 1: calls as well as non calls that means a call
- 16:24Speaker 1: can be disputed or no call can be corrected or disputed,
- 16:29Speaker 1: right right. Coaches will now have the opportunity to challenge
- 16:32Speaker 1: pass interference calls or non calls outside two minutes of
- 16:37Speaker 1: each half. Now I don't understand that outside of two
- 16:41Speaker 1: minutes of each half. So seriously, is this about instant replay? Yeah, okay,
- 16:48Speaker 1: that's what I got out of that. While the booth
- 16:50Speaker 1: will automatically review any close calls inside to us, Okay,
- 16:54Speaker 1: I got it. So the booth handles all of the
- 16:57Speaker 1: calls inside two minutes left in the game, two minutes
- 17:01Speaker 1: left and a half, and all of overtime. The coaches
- 17:06Speaker 1: up to the two minute mark can throw a challenge.
- 17:09Speaker 1: After that is purely up to the booth, because you know,
- 17:12Speaker 1: a coach could have two challenges and be out and
- 17:15Speaker 1: that allows the booth to make the call, which then
- 17:18Speaker 1: would have had the Saints would have been in the
- 17:21Speaker 1: super Bowl. Yeah, that's the point here, Yeah, from my household,
- 17:27Speaker 1: Because the coach is gonna have two challenges per game,
- 17:30Speaker 1: and the final two minutes of each half for the
- 17:32Speaker 1: fourth quarter are all of overtime. The official can order
- 17:36Speaker 1: a review of offensive or defensive pass in it. That's
- 17:39Speaker 1: a great idea because at first they were talking about
- 17:46Speaker 1: they weren't gonna mess with that, but they got to
- 17:49Speaker 1: because you can't have a game riding on a miss
- 17:53Speaker 1: call because an official is a human. Wow, everybody understands
- 17:59Speaker 1: to make that call. So is this just because of
- 18:03Speaker 1: that one? Yes? Yes, but I don't like it because
- 18:06Speaker 1: he's gonna extend. It's gonna be longer. But next thing,
- 18:11Speaker 1: you know, next we're gonna have holding calls. It's gonna
- 18:13Speaker 1: keep going. See, this is a dude. You're not from
- 18:16Speaker 1: New Orleans, right What you just said don't mean a
- 18:21Speaker 1: damn in New Orleans. I got who that nation right
- 18:26Speaker 1: now to the way way the way you're talking, you
- 18:28Speaker 1: probably can't to it on that no more. I'm just
- 18:34Speaker 1: being a fan again, just being on it mean, but
- 18:40Speaker 1: you to do this to correct that blatant mistake. That
- 18:45Speaker 1: can't ever happen again. They had bad call after bad call.
- 18:50Speaker 1: That affects the livelihood and the championships to these people,
- 18:53Speaker 1: and with all this modern technology we got, we have
- 18:56Speaker 1: to go to that because these people are humans. So official,
- 19:03Speaker 1: Hey man, hey, y'all ain't from New Orleans obviously, Yeah,
- 19:09Speaker 1: we're not from talk to somebody that ain't won in
- 19:13Speaker 1: year from Cleveland. It does. What I'm saying is that
- 19:18Speaker 1: now they're gonna have more call because then it could
- 19:20Speaker 1: turn into a roughing to pass a call that won't
- 19:23Speaker 1: get called. Now we got to review that as we
- 19:26Speaker 1: should have, because I'm telling you right now that passing
- 19:30Speaker 1: the feris called. That they called on Kansas City Brady
- 19:37Speaker 1: that gave him a first down that was off the
- 19:43Speaker 1: field that should have been reviewable. So i say, all
- 19:53Speaker 1: I'm saying is that, why don't we just do it?
- 19:55Speaker 1: Pass FI do all the calls. It's all I'm saying,
- 19:58Speaker 1: review everything. Stephen's turned all the way around his baggage. Man,
- 20:06Speaker 1: stay right with that? Who that rad with us? But
- 20:10Speaker 1: that's how all the sports you say something like I
- 20:15Speaker 1: ain't gonna hear you, and then what I ain't gonna
- 20:19Speaker 1: do is let you be wrong, and then I'm looking
- 20:20Speaker 1: at you too, sharing call it. Guess I'll be right
- 20:23Speaker 1: back on his plane. Nor Rad. I'm saying, I don't
- 20:29Speaker 1: just live to that. Put it all the calls in that.
- 20:32Speaker 1: You leave it to that. Okay, Steve doing you like
- 20:35Speaker 1: Stephen a smith man. He is turned all the way. Twist, smile,
- 20:44Speaker 1: twimile because what are you talking? Man? But he's saying
- 20:49Speaker 1: something about they should do them all. I can't know
- 20:53Speaker 1: just in inside two minutes to do all of them
- 20:57Speaker 1: if they miss a call of he don't see get
- 21:00Speaker 1: it up, forget it? You know what? Listening? Hi, don't
- 21:05Speaker 1: didn't he have a point or not? I don't understand
- 21:07Speaker 1: he did? I do? Sure? Okay, yeah, hold it inside
- 21:11Speaker 1: a two minutes, inside two minutes, Hey dog, they usually
- 21:15Speaker 1: catch most of them in the world. Then you had
- 21:17Speaker 1: the thirty five yard line, you get a hold a call,
- 21:19Speaker 1: you got the forty five? What about the rough in
- 21:22Speaker 1: the past when it didn't happen? Exactly what? Man? He
- 21:28Speaker 1: is something else? Oh God, I love me? What what
- 21:33Speaker 1: you what? I'm something else? What you don't? Because I
- 21:34Speaker 1: don't agree with you? No, you turned around and don't

- 21:46Speaker 1: this We're gonna take a break right here and we'll
- 21:50Speaker 1: be back with the nephew and run that prank back
- 21:52Speaker 1: right after this around Steve. You're listening Steve Harping Morning Show.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, Guys and
- 22:04Speaker 1: Entertainment news R and B singer Monica is filing for
- 22:08Speaker 1: divorce from her husband Shannon Brown. Yeah. Wow, that's sad news.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Sad news. Uh and uh. The diva of all divas,
- 22:18Speaker 1: my Queen, Miss Diana Ross, had a celebrity filled seventy
- 22:22Speaker 1: fifth birthday party. Oh my god, who wasn't there? Who
- 22:27Speaker 1: wasn't there? But right now the nephew is here to
- 22:31Speaker 1: run that brank back. We'll talk about all of that.
- 22:36Speaker 1: We weren't what you got. We're gonna baptize a few
- 22:41Speaker 1: people this morning, Shirley. This is Mobile baptism Mopool, Mobile
- 22:45Speaker 1: baptismal Pool. Let's roll it. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to
- 22:49Speaker 1: reach a mister Wilson. How are you doing. My name
- 22:54Speaker 1: is brother Springwater Man. Listen. We uh, we we got
- 22:57Speaker 1: paid to actually come by and do some services to
- 23:01Speaker 1: uh for for you, by some friends of yours, and
- 23:04Speaker 1: we wanted to actually call and see about scheduling and
- 23:06Speaker 1: see what you had available, uh some some services. Well
- 23:11Speaker 1: y'all playing on Clenson Gradu, which I do. What kind
- 23:14Speaker 1: of services you had? Actually, sir, you've got some friends
- 23:18Speaker 1: that have actually spent a great amount of money on you.
- 23:21Speaker 1: And what we do is UM we have a Baptismal
- 23:25Speaker 1: Owned Wheels servant and what we do is we go
- 23:28Speaker 1: and we um we baptize people at their home. And
- 23:32Speaker 1: Baptismal Wheels has been it's a new UM company, but
- 23:36Speaker 1: we've we've baptized over a thousand people. Now we have
- 23:39Speaker 1: a truck with it which actually has a baptismal pool
- 23:42Speaker 1: on the back of it, and we actually come to
- 23:45Speaker 1: your home and we will baptize you in your driveway
- 23:49Speaker 1: and and make you hold again so weeper hostess here
- 23:53Speaker 1: brother water, Brother again, I'm sorry, I ain't spring water, springwater.
- 23:58Speaker 1: What you wanted to come to my house and give
- 24:00Speaker 1: me a baptism in my front yard. We want to
- 24:02Speaker 1: baptize you right there in your drive where your friends
- 24:05Speaker 1: are paid for the services. And my friend, what friend
- 24:08Speaker 1: will pay for me to get baptized? Man, I've been baptized,
- 24:10Speaker 1: are already doc well? From my understanding, sir that but
- 24:13Speaker 1: then that you you've had some some bumps and bruises
- 24:16Speaker 1: and and and they seem to believe that you need
- 24:19Speaker 1: to be Washington coming. I mean that's all good, that's all.
- 24:22Speaker 1: That's all. It's all good. But I mean things are
- 24:24Speaker 1: I mean things that matter that it made man. I mean,
- 24:27Speaker 1: I've been baptized, I go to church. You know, uh,
- 24:30Speaker 1: me and the Lord don't have no problems. I mean,
- 24:32Speaker 1: we all have setbacks. But for you to pull up
- 24:35Speaker 1: with your pool in front of my house to say
- 24:37Speaker 1: you've been a baptize me that that doesn't make any
- 24:40Speaker 1: sense to me. Doc I mean seeds. Sometimes when some
- 24:42Speaker 1: people are not able to go to the House of
- 24:45Speaker 1: the Lord and get baptized, you know, we're making a
- 24:48Speaker 1: lot more convenient for you, but we can actually need
- 24:51Speaker 1: no convenience. I don't need no convenience. What I need
- 24:54Speaker 1: convenience for you asking me to come to my house
- 24:58Speaker 1: on a Tuesday so baptize me in my driveway? Does
- 25:04Speaker 1: that make any sense to you? Brother Water? I mean,
- 25:06Speaker 1: come on, if you really sit back and think about it,
- 25:08Speaker 1: does that make any sense to you? Further Coop first
- 25:12Speaker 1: of all, so that that's that's brother spring Water. But
- 25:15Speaker 1: what I'm trying to what I'm trying to see. The
- 25:17Speaker 1: water is holy water, spring water. It doesn't make no
- 25:21Speaker 1: difference to me. You can't come to my neighborhood and
- 25:24Speaker 1: baptize me in front of my house. Sir? What is
- 25:27Speaker 1: all that water? This is? This is what your friends
- 25:30Speaker 1: are talking about. That don't give me the what my
- 25:32Speaker 1: prayers are telling you. Man and anybody which which one
- 25:35Speaker 1: of my prayers gonna recommend you to come to my
- 25:37Speaker 1: damn out. So I'm I and I don't do that
- 25:43Speaker 1: don't even make any sense to me. You understand that
- 25:45Speaker 1: I'm not I'm not at any liberty to tell you
- 25:47Speaker 1: who actually, uh, I'm between the liberty became to my
- 25:50Speaker 1: damn house that baties me. But you can't tell me
- 25:53Speaker 1: who the hell's gonna see you. But you're not what
- 25:55Speaker 1: make Come on? You don't even come on that that
- 25:58Speaker 1: makes sense for you. Come on, that doesn't make any
- 26:00Speaker 1: no way in the world. I'm gonna allow you to
- 26:02Speaker 1: come and bring your phone in front of my house
- 26:05Speaker 1: and baptize me. Then I'm asking you ask as you
- 26:07Speaker 1: you supposed to be a pastor, you supposed to be baptized.
- 26:10Speaker 1: I'm asking you, okay, what's a friend of mine is
- 26:12Speaker 1: tending you you know, letting you know I need be done.
- 26:15Speaker 1: You'll tell you how that liberty, sir, all I wanted
- 26:18Speaker 1: to know. Basically, I've already been paid. I'm coming to cha.
- 26:24Speaker 1: I'm baptizing me. I be back time. I'm going to
- 26:27Speaker 1: baptize you on Tuesday in your driveway. Man, I tell you, what,
- 26:31Speaker 1: did you come to my house in front of my driveway?
- 26:34Speaker 1: You better bring the old congregation, you understand. You better
- 26:37Speaker 1: bring the deacons, the brothers, the sisters and everybody heads.
- 26:41Speaker 1: You think how many you got ties. This is a problem.
- 26:43Speaker 1: This is what your friends are talking about. This is
- 26:45Speaker 1: why you need to be baptized and cleansed again and
- 26:48Speaker 1: washed in the blood of the lamp. This is what's wrong.
- 26:50Speaker 1: You need to be cleansed. That's what's wrong with you,
- 26:53Speaker 1: mister Wilton. What's frongs me? Now? What's wrong with you?
- 26:56Speaker 1: Is clarbly in the little my hope. They're telling me
- 26:58Speaker 1: I need to be backtized in front of my house.
- 27:00Speaker 1: If I need to be backtime, don't get some only water.
- 27:02Speaker 1: I go down to the church. I don't need you
- 27:05Speaker 1: come in front of my house looking old turkers. We're
- 27:08Speaker 1: all afraid of some white sheets talking about to baptister me,
- 27:11Speaker 1: my mama understanding me, from my understanding, from my understanding,
- 27:14Speaker 1: Mister Wilson, you missed two Sundays already this month, sund
- 27:18Speaker 1: this man, I can't go anywhere and get the water
- 27:21Speaker 1: I don't need if you coming here because you tell
- 27:23Speaker 1: him I missed two damn Sundays. I'm gonna miss Sunday
- 27:26Speaker 1: two because the funhou ain't coming off, Sir. All I
- 27:29Speaker 1: know is I've been paid to do a job. I

- 29:58Speaker 1: we gotta go coming out him down sharing they dip
- 30:01Speaker 1: him down at the top of the hour in the
- 30:04Speaker 1: wold Steve, You're listening show and entertainment news, some really
- 30:16Speaker 1: sad news. Singer Monica has filed for divorce from her husband,
- 30:20Speaker 1: former NBA player Shannon Brown. The couple web back in
- 30:24Speaker 1: twenty and ten, if you remember, but she's been seen
- 30:27Speaker 1: on Instagram not wearing her wedding ring for weeks now.
- 30:31Speaker 1: They have a five year old daughter together, and she
- 30:33Speaker 1: has two sons. She's such a cool. Of course she
- 30:36Speaker 1: is great to hear that, I really do. But morning
- 30:41Speaker 1: Monica was quick? Did you I said she's filing for divorce?
- 30:48Speaker 1: What was she getting? Ibbi the court? How much? Come out?
- 30:53Speaker 1: I can't believe he? Did you like that? Come on? Wow?
- 31:00Speaker 1: You know who else ain't got the ring on shirt?
- 31:03Speaker 1: Don't say it? Who back you put it back on,
- 31:12Speaker 1: Quindy Williams do not have her when rang on, It's
- 31:19Speaker 1: back on? Yeah, all right, and other entertainment news. When
- 31:23Speaker 1: you're a legend like miss Diana Ross, I mean, it's
- 31:26Speaker 1: only right to celebrate your seventy fifth birthday with an
- 31:30Speaker 1: all star party with her family and friends. And can
- 31:33Speaker 1: I just say she looks fabulous at seventy five, I
- 31:37Speaker 1: mean talking about age goals. She she's so just beautiful
- 31:42Speaker 1: and elegant and just everything. Tracy Ellis Ross, her daughter,
- 31:47Speaker 1: Evan Ross, her son, Barry Gordy, Heidi klum Bett, Middler,
- 31:51Speaker 1: Chris Jenner, Courtney and Chloe Kardashian, Robin Thick, who sang
- 31:56Speaker 1: Missing You with her on stage, Diddy, Chris Rock, they
- 31:59Speaker 1: were all there. Leonardo DiCaprio was there. It was at
- 32:03Speaker 1: the Hollywood Palladium, and uh, I mean Beyonce sang Happy
- 32:07Speaker 1: Birthday to Diana Ross and then yeah, I mean come on,
- 32:11Speaker 1: and then Stevie Wonder sang his version. Of course. It
- 32:14Speaker 1: was just a fabulous, fabulous party, And of course she
- 32:17Speaker 1: changed about one hundred and fifty one times. I think, yeah,
- 32:21Speaker 1: that's what she's known for. Just I mean, just that's
- 32:24Speaker 1: the way you want to celebrates people, how to be deemous. Yeah,
- 32:29Speaker 1: it ain't nobody. Ain't nobody found it yet? No, I
- 32:33Speaker 1: mean no, I just think she's one of a kind.
- 32:36Speaker 1: She is, and what a fabulous life. You know. She's
- 32:38Speaker 1: that one person that comes along man that changes everything
- 32:42Speaker 1: for everybody. It's nothing you could say him right. There
- 32:45Speaker 1: will never be another Diana ever, ever, ever, and I
- 32:49Speaker 1: mean every Her kids just love her someone. They say
- 32:53Speaker 1: she's such a good mother, She's such a good family
- 32:55Speaker 1: person and mother. Grandkids lover her. I mean, she's just beloved.
- 33:00Speaker 1: She is so Happy birthday, Diana Ross. We love you,
- 33:03Speaker 1: We love you. Love diva yeah, of all divas please, yeah,
- 33:11Speaker 1: we love her. Five that good. I know she looks fabulous.
- 33:16Speaker 1: I don't know what she's doing, but she looks good.
- 33:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna high makeup artist. I think she does her
- 33:21Speaker 1: own makeup. Still, don't have to fix me. I gotta
- 33:29Speaker 1: get something going on, because I can surely tell you
- 33:32Speaker 1: I'm not gonna look like that and say she's just fabulous.
- 33:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna be pretty. What about I'm gonna be all right,
- 33:40Speaker 1: all right, I ain't gonna be that though everything I
- 33:44Speaker 1: put on a satified, gonna be pimp guilt. Well, I say,
- 33:49Speaker 1: you know what you know, because I'm you know, I'm
- 33:50Speaker 1: bringing the pimp back because I'm through. I'm through. I'm
- 33:53Speaker 1: through conforming the television the way they want me to be.
- 33:56Speaker 1: I'm through. I'm going all in. Are you gonna wear
- 33:59Speaker 1: whatever you want to wear? Yeah? Well that was slowly changed.
- 34:03Speaker 1: What the stuff I got for this year? Huh? Yeah
- 34:10Speaker 1: for her? You saw it. Let's let's go to miss
- 34:13Speaker 1: Inn ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne Rip, thank you. This
- 34:18Speaker 1: is answer for the news everybody. All right, let's start
- 34:21Speaker 1: it with this one. The Ohio man who was convicted
- 34:23Speaker 1: of killing an anti racism protester in Charlesville, Virginia in
- 34:26Speaker 1: two twenty seventeen, has now pled guilty to federal hate
- 34:30Speaker 1: crime charges. He could face life in prison. Twenty one
- 34:33Speaker 1: year old James alex Field, a self described neo Nazi,
- 34:36Speaker 1: has paid guilty to no less than twenty nine charges
- 34:39Speaker 1: after ramming his car into a crowd of people who
- 34:41Speaker 1: were protesting a white supremacy rally. And US Attorney Thomas
- 34:45Speaker 1: Cohen says that the plea deal involved was a good one.
- 34:47Speaker 1: We believed that life imprisonment or the potential life imprisonment
- 34:53Speaker 1: was an acceptable result. We also believed that it vindicated
- 34:58Speaker 1: our interest in protecting some whites those victims. Fields has
- 35:02Speaker 1: already been convicted of first degree murder and some other
- 35:04Speaker 1: charges for killing the anti racist protester Heather Higher and
- 35:08Speaker 1: for injuring nine other people. Now the President Trump's declaration
- 35:11Speaker 1: of a national emergency is upheld, allowing him to get
- 35:13Speaker 1: as much money as he wants for his promise Board
- 35:15Speaker 1: of Wall. The presidents now focused again on another campaign
- 35:19Speaker 1: promise that are bringing down the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Trump asking congressional Republicans to come up with alternatives to
- 35:25Speaker 1: the healthcare law, which he claims is not working, and
- 35:28Speaker 1: now that his Justice Department has called for Obamacare to
- 35:30Speaker 1: be struck down in court, that apparently gives the president
- 35:33Speaker 1: some hope. If the Supreme Court rules that Obamacare is out,
- 35:37Speaker 1: we will have a plan that's far better than Obamacare.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Of course, the GOP tried and failed to repeal Obamacare
- 35:44Speaker 1: once Trump took office, even though Republicans were in charge
- 35:47Speaker 1: of the House Ascended and the White House. It appears
- 35:50Speaker 1: that the Attorney General, William Barr is going to probably
- 35:52Speaker 1: miss a deadline that the House of Representatives set to
- 35:54Speaker 1: present lawmakers with Special counsel Robin Bueller's complete report on
- 35:58Speaker 1: Russian interference in the twenty sixteen election. Democratic Congressman Gerald Nadler,
- 36:02Speaker 1: chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, says that during a
- 36:05Speaker 1: phone call with the Attorney General the other day that
- 36:08Speaker 1: Bark said he wouldn't. He really didn't promise to deliver
- 36:10Speaker 1: an unredacted copy of the reports. And when they redacting,
- 36:14Speaker 1: that means that when they like you, darkened stuff parts
- 36:16Speaker 1: and senses as you can't read. William Barr is expected
- 36:19Speaker 1: on Capitol Hill for a budget hearing with the House
- 36:21Speaker 1: Appropriations Committee on April ninth. By the way, the results
- 36:24Speaker 1: of a new poll shows that fifty six percent of
- 36:26Speaker 1: people feel that the Mulla report did not absolve President
- 36:30Speaker 1: Trump of collusion or obstruction of justice with the Russians
- 36:34Speaker 1: in the twenty sixteen election. That this couldn't be proven definitively.
- 36:37Speaker 1: That's what fifty six percent of people say. Forty three
- 36:39Speaker 1: percent say that the report has cleared Trump of collusion.
- 36:43Speaker 1: The FBI meanwhile reporting investigating why all charges against Jesse
- 36:47Speaker 1: Smollett would drop Chicago's top prosecutors defending the decision. Critics
- 36:51Speaker 1: point out, though, that it took the murders of twenty
- 36:54Speaker 1: black Atlanta children before the FBI stepped into the Atlanta
- 36:56Speaker 1: child murders case, and today as national change your name
- 36:59Speaker 1: day Yayne. Now back to the Sea Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:06Speaker 1: You're listening to show? All right, Temmy, this is for you.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Wendy Williams appeared to be okay despite the rumor about
- 37:15Speaker 1: her husband, who allegedly had this baby with another woman.
- 37:20Speaker 1: Uh yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. Wendy was seen leaving
- 37:24Speaker 1: Pilates Pilates Studio Wednesday in New York City, where Papa
- 37:28Speaker 1: Rozzi asked her how is she doing. Wendy says she
- 37:30Speaker 1: was fine and on her way to a book signing
- 37:32Speaker 1: and flashed her wedding ring. Wendy also announced that she
- 37:35Speaker 1: is taking a scheduled break, only hours after it was
- 37:39Speaker 1: reported that she was hospitalized earlier this week following a relapse.
- 37:43Speaker 1: She told her studio audience, we have a planned break
- 37:46Speaker 1: coming up next week. She went on to say, I
- 37:48Speaker 1: know it was planned though, but we're back with live
- 37:51Speaker 1: shows on April eighth, So there you go. Draw your
- 37:55Speaker 1: own conclusions. Yeah, she's doing her show. You know, she
- 37:59Speaker 1: says she's fine. So yeah, yeah, you're doing great. That's
- 38:04Speaker 1: a whole nother stand back, man, Yeah, another level that is. Yeah,
- 38:09Speaker 1: it's like this, like the moving fences. It's like fences
- 38:12Speaker 1: with oh yeah, it is with the baby. Yeah, except
- 38:16Speaker 1: for you know what happened. Yeah, but yeah, And I
- 38:19Speaker 1: saw the Papa Rozzi um talking to her on the street.
- 38:23Speaker 1: And then at the end when she got in the car,
- 38:25Speaker 1: the guy said, are you gonna see the baby? I said, God, yeah,
- 38:32Speaker 1: the baby don't need to be last question? She not?
- 38:36Speaker 1: Does she not answer that one? Well, now she was
- 38:39Speaker 1: getting in the car, she closed the door. Oh yeah,
- 38:41Speaker 1: I bet. Wow. That's a lot though, I mean, if
- 38:44Speaker 1: all of that's true, Carol, I just you just I
- 38:51Speaker 1: could never humiliate my wife like that. I mean, you know,
- 38:54Speaker 1: I know people whom it yeah, who have stayed in marriages.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Wendy won't be the first, she won't be the last.
- 39:01Speaker 1: I do know. Yeah, women who have stayed in marriage
- 39:04Speaker 1: just after their husband has has had outside children. I
- 39:08Speaker 1: do know, and I tell you I do too. But
- 39:10Speaker 1: the issue is too though. Oh go ahead, dream know
- 39:12Speaker 1: I'm saying I got a friend networking in both camps
- 39:15Speaker 1: Love Wendy's Husband camp and Windy Camp. He didn't told
- 39:18Speaker 1: me that I can't. He didn't told me I don't
- 39:20Speaker 1: want to put this out here. But he didn't told
- 39:22Speaker 1: me that Wendy husband keep calling the house giving the
- 39:25Speaker 1: updates on the baby though, well you stop. Why are
- 39:29Speaker 1: you always sound like you sitting on the front. I'm
- 39:32Speaker 1: just telling this is what I heard. Yeah, yeah, but
- 39:35Speaker 1: he called him, He called He called wind and said,
- 39:37Speaker 1: you know, Wendy, you all right? Yeah, yeah, baby getting
- 39:41Speaker 1: fed right now? And then he just hung up. What
- 39:44Speaker 1: is that about? If that's true? Though, I'm just just cruel. Yeah,
- 39:48Speaker 1: he just kicking. That's hard. Just stop, okay, just stop, um,
- 39:53Speaker 1: come on now. She doesn't deserve that, No one deserves that.
- 39:57Speaker 1: I just feel like it's just difficult for her because
- 40:00Speaker 1: of what she does for a living. Yeah, but you know,
- 40:03Speaker 1: are you a hot topic right exactly? Kier was saying that, yes, yes, yeah,
- 40:07Speaker 1: a lot of people. She's not saying it's karma, but
- 40:10Speaker 1: she's not going to be her own hot topic. If
- 40:12Speaker 1: she is, she'll handle it the way she she handles it,
- 40:15Speaker 1: and she's been handling it on the TV side quite
- 40:18Speaker 1: well well. Coming up at thirty four after the hour, guys,
- 40:21Speaker 1: Cook County State Attorney Kim Fox said Jesse Smallatt got
- 40:24Speaker 1: the same deal a non celebrity would have received. Right
- 40:29Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to show, Cook County State Attorney
- 40:35Speaker 1: Kim Fox is going to bat for her office, which
- 40:38Speaker 1: we know opted to let Jesse Smallett walk, saying the
- 40:41Speaker 1: public just doesn't understand this is how the law works.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Jesse small Att, of course, got the same treatment as
- 40:47Speaker 1: a non celebrity would get, and she said She also
- 40:51Speaker 1: talked about why she recused herself. Take a listen to this.
- 40:54Speaker 1: I recused myself a week before mister Smallett was charged.
- 40:58Speaker 1: I think there's a lot of minsation about that too.
- 41:01Speaker 1: I think the public found out the day before mister
- 41:04Speaker 1: Smollett was charged, but it had happened a week earlier,
- 41:08Speaker 1: at the point where it had become clear that mister
- 41:11Speaker 1: Smollett had gone from victim to suspect. In consultation with
- 41:15Speaker 1: my ethics officer, we sat down and we talked about
- 41:18Speaker 1: the fact that there I don't want any speculation or concern.
- 41:22Speaker 1: I don't even want the appearance that my involvement with
- 41:26Speaker 1: this case having now seen or talked to a family
- 41:30Speaker 1: member within any way and pee this investigation. That is
- 41:34Speaker 1: a Cook County State Attorney Kim Fox giving her assessment
- 41:37Speaker 1: on why her office a lot, Yeah, dismissed the charges. Yeah,
- 41:43Speaker 1: it's been so amazing. Yeah. Look, everybody's upset with the
- 41:48Speaker 1: prosecutor's office for dropping these charges as people don't see
- 41:52Speaker 1: any in talking about he's guilty. He should have never
- 41:55Speaker 1: been at dropped the charges. He's not exonerating in the
- 42:00Speaker 1: court system, this is how it works. So if you
- 42:04Speaker 1: drop all the charges, you can stop with the heat
- 42:08Speaker 1: guilty business because there are no charges now, so he's
- 42:13Speaker 1: no longer a court case for any jury or any
- 42:17Speaker 1: or judge to decide on guilty or innocent. They drop
- 42:21Speaker 1: the case. You have to think, why would they drop
- 42:25Speaker 1: a case. A prosecutor's job is to prosecute. That's how
- 42:29Speaker 1: they move up, that's how they gain fame, that's how
- 42:33Speaker 1: they get more power. They prosecute to win. If they
- 42:38Speaker 1: look like they're gonna lose a case, they'll get out
- 42:41Speaker 1: of it before they before they take it and lose.
- 42:44Speaker 1: We'll check this out, Steve. Now. This is according to
- 42:46Speaker 1: CBS News the Cook County States Attorney has circulated an email.
- 42:51Speaker 1: Now they're asking prosecutors in the office to come up
- 42:53Speaker 1: with other examples where they just dropped felony charges the
- 42:57Speaker 1: way they did in the just smallt case. They say,
- 43:00Speaker 1: we are looking for examples of cases felony preferable where we,
- 43:04Speaker 1: in exercising our discretion, have entered into verbal agreements with
- 43:08Speaker 1: defense attorneys to dismiss charges against an offender if certain
- 43:12Speaker 1: conditions were met. Okay, So if that's the case, so
- 43:15Speaker 1: then what has happened over the years when all of
- 43:18Speaker 1: these black people get shot by police? So what they've
- 43:21Speaker 1: done is they've looked back through history found similar cases
- 43:26Speaker 1: where police officers have gotten away with killing black people
- 43:30Speaker 1: and they've been okay with letting the rest of them go.
- 43:32Speaker 1: Is that what you're saying? Because right now you find
- 43:35Speaker 1: the trying to find a Jesse Smollet similar case. It
- 43:39Speaker 1: ain't out there. There are none. Yeah, it ain't out there.
- 43:42Speaker 1: But why are we so damn upset about Jesse being free?
- 43:47Speaker 1: I mean, really, man, where's the outrage across the board?
- 43:51Speaker 1: Ain't nobody that? And Rommy Manueldon came out and he
- 43:54Speaker 1: all of a sudden he talking about this, whoa when
- 43:57Speaker 1: the hold up man the stuctors happened to Chicago. Man,
- 44:04Speaker 1: you got a lot of stuff to be outraged about.
- 44:06Speaker 1: It can't be called Jesse got off And there even
- 44:11Speaker 1: I was saying, at best, I hope he gets probation,
- 44:16Speaker 1: pay a fine and community service. Well guess what, he
- 44:20Speaker 1: hadn't done community service and he'd lost that ten thousand
- 44:23Speaker 1: dollars bill. The only thing I don't see his probation.
- 44:26Speaker 1: But you can't put him on probation because you ain't
- 44:28Speaker 1: put him up no no charge. Now the guy got
- 44:32Speaker 1: off because something went wrong, and y'all quitn Why are
- 44:35Speaker 1: we worried about Jesse and smart? You know he got
- 44:39Speaker 1: jumped on under the bridge with no damn cameras. I
- 44:45Speaker 1: don't care who jumped on his ash. The Muller report
- 44:52Speaker 1: came out, yes with outrage and that well everybody now
- 44:57Speaker 1: talking about well you know, he he he's gonna put
- 45:01Speaker 1: the ball to bar and let him decide if it
- 45:03Speaker 1: was an obstruction of justice or not. But there was
- 45:06Speaker 1: no collusion. Man, whatever. I can't give a damn about
- 45:10Speaker 1: politics no more. I'm just it's a tough one. Yeah,
- 45:13Speaker 1: we got him going to get caught up in this
- 45:15Speaker 1: whirldwind with these people no more. All right, coming up next,
- 45:19Speaker 1: we're gonna switch gears. Coming up next, it is a
- 45:21Speaker 1: nephew with the prank phone call for it today. Right
- 45:24Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming
- 45:29Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, right about four
- 45:32Speaker 1: minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today. Subject. That's
- 45:35Speaker 1: not what Steve Harvey wrote in that book. That the subject.
- 45:41Speaker 1: The subject. That's not what Steve Harvey wrote in that
- 45:43Speaker 1: book is the subject. But right here, right now, nephew
- 45:46Speaker 1: Tommy is here with today's prank phone call. What do
- 45:49Speaker 1: you have for us, neph What you get well, you know,
- 45:51Speaker 1: for our brain, this prank cup. You know. I want
- 45:53Speaker 1: to go around the room. We're gonna order pizza this morning.

- 46:53Speaker 1: No running hello he man? Who who is the person

- 50:33Speaker 1: Mister Geno, you just got freak. You're telling me I'm

- 50:44Speaker 1: bombs all over the radio. Baby, who I want to
- 50:47Speaker 1: know who did this to me? Because they're getting some

- 51:13Speaker 1: I gotta ask you this, Mizino. What is the baddest
- 51:16Speaker 1: and I mean the baddest radio show in the land?

- 51:46Speaker 1: No anthobies. Babies may be tripping. No anchovies. What do
- 51:53Speaker 1: we say about anchovies off the air? Do black people
- 51:55Speaker 1: eat antio? No? Yeah, no, yes they do now. Terry Kennedy,
- 52:01Speaker 1: who runs my production companies one twelve, loves anchovies and
- 52:07Speaker 1: soldas Reginald Huntman. I was sitting with two black people
- 52:11Speaker 1: having lunch, and both of them ordered anchovies. She ordered
- 52:15Speaker 1: a dish of them, salt fishes in the little bowl.
- 52:21Speaker 1: I don't know what your breath smells like after you
- 52:24Speaker 1: lay up anchovy. Any well, I know what they smell
- 52:28Speaker 1: like when they up around my mom. I put Anchovia
- 52:31Speaker 1: and my mom man, I spit so far, I spit
- 52:33Speaker 1: it on you. Yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah. Everybody's gonna
- 52:37Speaker 1: get some of this damn man Chovia because I'm not
- 52:39Speaker 1: fitting and stuff about myself. But I do like I've
- 52:41Speaker 1: never had Anchovia dressing. Oh it's delicious, It's very good. Yeah,
- 52:49Speaker 1: you've never had Anchovia town. I don't think so, mister Caviard.
- 52:53Speaker 1: Wait a minute, do they have a white whoa? Whoa?
- 52:57Speaker 1: Do they have a caveart pizza? Dude, horse boy, I
- 53:04Speaker 1: don't tell me this, of course, don't. Hell yeah, of
- 53:09Speaker 1: course you had. You had carry on your pizza before

- 55:08Speaker 1: What if? What? Hold on? Mister goldleaf? Buckle up? Hold
- 55:14Speaker 1: on type We got it for you here. It is
- 55:15Speaker 1: the Strawberry letter subject. That's not what Steve Harvey wrote
- 55:19Speaker 1: in that book. Dear Stephen, Shirley, my best friend and I.
- 55:22Speaker 1: You're gonna like it, Steve, my best friend and I
- 55:24Speaker 1: have been really close for seventeen years, but now we
- 55:27Speaker 1: are constantly bickering over her twisted ideas of love and marriage.
- 55:32Speaker 1: She has always taken an interest in reading books about
- 55:35Speaker 1: male and female relationships, but her favorite book is Steve
- 55:39Speaker 1: Harvey's Act like a Lady, Think like a Man, and
- 55:42Speaker 1: she has twisted each chapter to fit how she chooses
- 55:45Speaker 1: to live. In the past, she has dated great guys,
- 55:49Speaker 1: but she would break up with the guys if they
- 55:51Speaker 1: didn't have any desire to take care of her financially.
- 55:55Speaker 1: She brings nothing to the table and she lives paycheck
- 55:58Speaker 1: to paycheck. She had as a new guy that she
- 56:01Speaker 1: is dating, and he has a great job, so she's happy.
- 56:05Speaker 1: She brags about how he helps her with her bills
- 56:07Speaker 1: and he gives her money to shop. She has told
- 56:10Speaker 1: me that he makes comments about her current living conditions
- 56:14Speaker 1: because she lives with her parents and she uses their car.
- 56:17Speaker 1: I told her that he is making those comments for
- 56:20Speaker 1: a reason, because she maintained that she will not move
- 56:24Speaker 1: out or buy her own car, because if a man
- 56:27Speaker 1: has an issue with it, he will get her a
- 56:29Speaker 1: nice place of her own and buy her a new car.
- 56:32Speaker 1: She said that Steve Harvey's book says that males are
- 56:35Speaker 1: hunters and that all all the women do need to
- 56:38Speaker 1: do is stay pretty with her hair together, nails and
- 56:42Speaker 1: toes done, and a man will come in and take
- 56:44Speaker 1: care of everything else. What girl up right now? Whoa
- 56:50Speaker 1: Carla Leslie? Okay, we're doing this all wrong, according to her,
- 56:55Speaker 1: all right, the lady, the letter writer says, she said
- 57:02Speaker 1: that Steve Harvey said that it's a woman's role to
- 57:06Speaker 1: take care of her man, raise the kids, and keep
- 57:08Speaker 1: the house together. I read Steve Harvey's book, and nowhere
- 57:12Speaker 1: in there does it say that I need you to
- 57:15Speaker 1: clear this up. Because she listens to the show every day,
- 57:18Speaker 1: so do men. Want women to bring something to the table,
- 57:21Speaker 1: or is it really the man's role to step in
- 57:23Speaker 1: and do it all. Well, let me start by saying,
- 57:30Speaker 1: you're so right a letter writer, you're so right, so
- 57:34Speaker 1: on point. It's not so much about a woman bringing
- 57:38Speaker 1: something to the table, you know, it's about the attitude
- 57:42Speaker 1: of your bestie thinking that men owe her something just
- 57:46Speaker 1: because that's what she's sang in this letter. I mean,
- 57:50Speaker 1: that's where she's she's got it all twisted. A man
- 57:53Speaker 1: will do that, they'll they'll do that and more for
- 57:55Speaker 1: her if she has the means, if he has the
- 57:58Speaker 1: means and the desire too. But that's up to him,
- 58:01Speaker 1: all right, that's not up to her. My advice to
- 58:04Speaker 1: her would be save some of her money while she's
- 58:07Speaker 1: staying with mom and dad, just in case her man,
- 58:10Speaker 1: you know, doesn't move her out and doesn't buy her
- 58:12Speaker 1: a car. At least then she'll be able to afford
- 58:15Speaker 1: her own place in her own car with her own money.
- 58:18Speaker 1: And you know, of course, it's nice to have someone
- 58:20Speaker 1: buy and give you gifts and stuff like that, take
- 58:23Speaker 1: care of you, and all you have to do is
- 58:24Speaker 1: sit there and look pretty. That's nice, But just sitting
- 58:28Speaker 1: around and waiting for a man to do that. It's
- 58:31Speaker 1: just not very smart. Okay, get out, get your own,
- 58:34Speaker 1: be your own boss. Whatever the man does for you,
- 58:37Speaker 1: that's gravy. That's extra. He owes you nothing, okay, absolutely nothing,
- 58:42Speaker 1: And Steve said, nothing of the kind. What book did
- 58:46Speaker 1: you read? What book did you read? He said, nothing
- 58:49Speaker 1: of the kind? Did you? Steve Army helped me write
- 58:51Speaker 1: a book. Yes, that ain't in now. No, ain't nobody
- 58:55Speaker 1: told you that. Go somewhere and sit on your ass. Yes,
- 58:59Speaker 1: Luke pretty and that's it. Man, can't get your hair
- 59:03Speaker 1: done in your nail I don't even want to be
- 59:05Speaker 1: in this left straighten her out. That's not what Steve
- 59:11Speaker 1: Hart wrote in his book. I appreciate saying that, lady,
- 59:13Speaker 1: but your friend is seventeen years I got all these
- 59:17Speaker 1: twisted ideas about love and made she interested in reading
- 59:22Speaker 1: books about male and female relationships. But her favorite book
- 59:26Speaker 1: is the one I wrote. Act like a lady, Think
- 59:27Speaker 1: like a man now. In the past, she didn't dated
- 59:31Speaker 1: some good guys, but she break up with him if
- 59:34Speaker 1: they didn't have any desire to take care of her finance.
- 59:38Speaker 1: And that's Steve. Girl. Well, this day two you let
- 59:49Speaker 1: me show you this I bought in my purse. You
- 59:53Speaker 1: see these stacker bills right now? We going back to
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: your place or what? But we need to go through
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: these bills. I got these car notes. We you know
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: you ain't. You ain't fending to pay these bill Oh
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: you get your ass out of here. Yeah, I ain't
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: sleeping with you no more. She brings nothing to the table, nothing,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: And she lived paycheck to paycheck, and she's dating this
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: new guy. Got a great job, so she happy. She
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: brags about he helps her with her bills and gives
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: her money to shop. Now, she's not telling you what
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: she's doing to get these little car notes in the
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: shopping spree. She up in hell or her back, what
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: of course she up in hell back, letting it go.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: She don't bring nothing to the table. She is the table,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, See y'all quick looking at
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: these letters without seeing was getting him here? A new guy,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: m He pay her bills, gives her money to shop.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: All this hell because she up in hell on hop back,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: keep her hair down, putting it down. She keep her
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: head hanging off the edge of the bed. That's how
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: she keep her head always going down. Up in here.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: It's going down up in here. And she knows what
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: she's doing too. It's just so when men get tired
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: of it and get you all these reading all these
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: bills while eating, just putting out all kind of bill, sail,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: phone bill, grocery bill. Yeah, look what I had to help.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: I help my mom knial with the wrinch. You don't,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: you don't want to do nothing for that? Wow? Wow?
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: All right? Hang on Part two of Steve's responses, coming
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: up at twenty three after the hour of today's letter.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: The subject that's not what Steve Harvey wrote in that book.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: We're ready to recap the Strawberry letter. Now. Subject, that's
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: not what Steve Harvey wrote in that book. Let's recap.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: This woman been dating using my book all wrong. Ain't
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: nobody told her due none of this here? So she
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: don't want no man. Everybody she date a man, if
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: they don't start taking care of her financially, she break
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: up with him. She got a new guy now, and
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: you know, he got a good job and everything. So
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: she bragging about how he helps up with her bills.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: And he gives her money to shop. Before we left,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: I explain to you why you getting money for your
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: bills and why you can go shot? Why because you
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: ain't here on your back or she's not just looking
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: pretty with her hair nails and raise your role? Okay?
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: She said that. Steve Harvey said it's a woman's role
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: to take care of her man, raise the kids, and
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: keep the house together. All that. When did I tell
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: you your job is to take care man? All that
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: women need to do is stay pretty with our hair together,
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: nails and toes done, and that's not in my book,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: and take care of everything else. Ain't nobody fing to
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: do that? And you bring nothing to the table. According
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: to this letter, she told me that this man now
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: been making comments about her current living conditions because she
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: lived with her parents and she uses the car. The
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: lady wrote the ladder saying, I told it that he's
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: making those comments for a reason. But she maintains that
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: she will not move out or buy her own car
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: because if a man has an issue with it, he
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: will get it got an issue with it, he will
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: get her a nice place on her own and buy
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: her a new car. Okay, are you crazy? See baby?
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: Let me explain to you where you're going wrong. Just
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: hold that. First of all, you had several men good man,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: and the moment they don't want to financially take care
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: of you want to break over. Well, let dude right
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: here is taking care of some stuff for you. But
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: now he hadn't brought up the fact that you live
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: with your mom and you're using a car because he
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: can he trying to figure out, okay, now where we are. Now,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: Now you say, if he really loved you, hear him
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: help you get your place and buy a new car. No,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: he's not. Then you haven't been on your back with
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: these men before and it ain't produced a house or car,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: nothing to hell else when you fitting to learn that
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: this don't work. I got this your requirement, but you
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: keep passing out cooking before you get car's, apartment, rent
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: and money. And then the dude, that dude give you
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: this money. He started asking you why are you still
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: living with your mom and you and you're driving the car?
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: So does that mean he's getting sick of her? Because
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: he thought he had something, he got food, he thought
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: he had something, found out he didn't. Now she said
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: that Steve Harvey Books said that males are hunters. I've
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: always said that. And all that women need to do
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: is stay pretty without had together, nails and toes done,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: and a man will come and take care of everything else.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: What I call let girl, Let's leave now, because y'all
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: ought to have a lock on it. You call him
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: mona can go now. Y'all have dungeon nails and toes.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: Y'all ought to be good. What y'all in here for? Y'all?
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: I'm trying to take care of y'rself. Oh, y'all, y'all
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: trying to be independent? That's done, he says. Steve Harvey said,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: it's a woman's role to take care of her man.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: How are you gonna take care of man? You ain't working?
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: See why would I say that and you ain't working? Yeah?
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: I ran Steve Harvey's book, and nowhere in there doesn't
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: say that. I need you to clear this up because
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: she listens to the show everything. So do men want
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: women to bring something to the table? The answer to
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: that is yes. Now, let me help you understand this
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: a little bit better. If a man is wealthy, his
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: requirement may not be for you to have a job.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: But now if he has the means. Let me tell
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: you what he do want. He wants a woman that
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: he can put on his arm to take places. He
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: wants a woman who looks good, I mean that sounds
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: good in meetings and social studies. He wants a woman
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: that's able to classly mingle in and out of all
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: different situations. He wants a woman that's stylished. So what
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: may want a woman who's really good with kids, because
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: he may have children. He's also looking at a woman
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: where if she has kids, what type of mother she is,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: and how can he fit in there and be provided
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: for her and all of them. He also looking for
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: a woman who can better him, who can help him
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: be a better him. Now, for a woman can do
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: those things, that becomes your job. And your job is
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: very simple, it has great reward to it. But if
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: you bring nothing to the table. See at one point
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: in time, this is what happens to people who bring
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: nothing to the table. You're gonna pull your chair one time.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: It ain't gonna be nothing a table. You're gonna pull
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: your champ and ain't gonna be nothing to eat. Oh,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: you at the table, but ain't a damn thing on
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: there for you to eat? Because he didn't eat and left.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: You've got to bring something to the table. And in
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: this last swaggered elegance under wisdom or something, you know,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: watch his back. Yeah, baby, listen to me. I don't
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: like him because when you're not looking, he looking upside
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: your head. Yea loyalty, Yeah, Steve Steve, his name is Sawyer.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Stop calling this man. Seem you've done that a few times,
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: having this much, Steve, that's Alberts. Don't say nothing else.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Hey't Sam stupid ass. I said, hell boy, she'd be
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: behind me or you, Steve, he's just before you shake
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: the hand, Just turn around. I know, anybody, all my
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: friends know these people. Stop just guessing, yeah, don't know,
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: and and stop saying what's happening? Uh yeah, quick calling anybody.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: M These white people don't know what you're talking about.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: What's happening? Uh my man, I see you boy, Good
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: to see you get going on that night. Yeah, talking
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: to this Russian man. He don't know what that means.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: It's just so funny because that's so true. We've seen
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: you do that. So oh man, she'd be behind me
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: all the time. Steve. Steve, that's the president of NBC
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: who all right, we gotta get out of here. Email

- 1:10:32Speaker 1: And we got the old school comics that's doing comedy
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: the old fashioned way to make you spitch your drags out,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: drop your chicken because that's wat comedy is. And Chuckles
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: and I'm not saying nothing gets the social media comments.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: I'm cool. I'm glad they're getting their grind on them.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: But there's something that speaks to you when you just
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: step out on the stage and touch a microphone and
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: tell a joke that you've been telling for years and
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: it's still worth That's when you know you really truly
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: got it. So I'm glad you shouted out man Prescott
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: Steve having funnish people I've ever heard is from the

- 1:11:11Speaker 1: I like the little dude Carlos. I like a lot
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: of these young cats, some bad boys out and whole
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: crew that Carlos DC, the four of them that toured

- 1:11:46Speaker 1: you get hot drunk. Listen to me. They know me
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: from CBS, so they were like, can you ask your
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: friend to put his shirt? I fight a man. They
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: can't open that window right now. Can I tell you

- 1:12:28Speaker 1: because you can't get on my names in my house.

- 1:12:33Speaker 1: house getting on my dad. Because Junior touch you when
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: he gets a little tipps. He just kept touching me

- 1:17:30Speaker 1: she went on her honeymoon, her and her husband newly weds,
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: mister Michael Sterling, and boy, when she came back dam
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: streets was talking who so yes, so did you see it, Shirley, Yes, girl,
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: girl to see I love it when you jump in.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: So Nini, Marlow and Tanya they got together at Marlow's house.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: Marlow spilled the tea and said that one of Eva's
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: bridesmaids told her that Eva has bad credit, car finance issues, repossessions,
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: moving from rental house to rental house. The house that
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: she's in is not in her name. And I don't know,
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: I don't know why Marlowe felt the need, but thank
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: you for saying that, because I thought Marla overstepped. I
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: don't know why she felt the need to do that.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: That was just not cool, that was just ugly. I
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: just felt that was ut scared car thought you'd be
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: in my credit report. Well, so anyway, during that time,
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: the three of them, Nini, Marlowe and Tanye, they decided
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: that Nini would be the one to tell Eva about
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: what this girl who was one of her bride'smaids. She's
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: supposed to be her friend, and this is what your
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: friend is out here doing telling all your business like that.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: Because Eva respects Nini, right and they have a relationship,
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: you know, they're friends. So anyway, Candy and Todd Mama, Joyce,
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: I'm Bertha and all of them. They had a friends
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: and family celebration for the restaurant, the Old Lady Gang too.
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: You know, they're a franchise. Now yeah, I'm feeling good. Yeah.
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: So they had a reception and all the ladies of course,
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: were invited. So Eva's there, Tanya's there. So Tanya feels
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: the need to tell Eva what was said at the
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: house with Marlo Nini. Now, remember they decided that Nini
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: would be the one to tell Eva. So Eva gets upset,
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: she leaves the restaurant. Ninie comes, Marlo comes, They like
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: what happened. The ladies told her. They got mad at
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: Tanya and say, hey, we decided that Nini would be
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: the one to talk to Eva about these rumors and
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: all this. Nini goes out, calls Eva, tried to tell
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: her to come back to the party. Eva agreed, but
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: she didn't want to be on camera to talk to Nini. Well,
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: it seems like the producers or Bravo was like whatever,
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: So they shot it from the corner. They got the
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: conversation where Eva and her husband was, you know, encouraging
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: her to go back in there and tell her own story.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Tell your own narrative. Don't let these rumors be out
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: here in the street. You go, you know, clear up
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: what was going on. So she basically told the girls
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: of the reason why she moved a lot. She has
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: issues with her X. She has a little girl that's
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: not her current husband's starter, but she has a little
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: girl with this guy, and it was rumored that they
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: had some kind of he has a violent, pass abusive
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: type dude, and she's had restraining orders and that's why
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: she had to move a lot. It was just a lot. Yeah,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: it was just a lot. And I just felt like
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: it was messy. I felt it was messy, and I
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: felt like Marlow didn't even have to bring up I
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: don't see why she had to explain herself exactly, because
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: who ain't moved a lot? Right? I know I have?
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: And who hasn't had bad credit? Once upon a time
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: I got bad. But yeah then or now, Yeah, that's
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: what you're sending them how much you make profits loss?
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: So anyway, um, that's that. Portia had a gender revealed
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: party on the show, and we all know the show.
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: She's you know, she was pregnant on the show, but
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: she just recently gave birth. Yeah, she just had her
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: baby on Friday. I don't know what. Oh my god,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: Paul by baby all this time, I should have said
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: baby gender, I'm gonna have to go into therapy. Portion
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: went oh man, yeah, baby was really yeah, it's everything
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: is fine. Yes, So she uh delivered her baby girl, Polar.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: She named the baby Pollard. So congratulations Polar par is
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: the baby's name. So let's go to love and hip hop.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: That's what I ride on on the ranch four wheels.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we know, p o L. Well that's not
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: her baby la R. Please go on, Carla to be reacting.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: You come on with a feller yet hervey. I really
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: do because I tried to tell you her con hurt
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: me when she said she's doing a gender reveal, baby
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: gender that I should have corrected that baby gender reveal.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: Let's move on to love and hip hop Atlanta. It's back.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: Stevie J. CBJ has decided to live a drama free lifestyle.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: He married his friend from back in the day. We
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: all know Stevie J is married to arm Your Faith.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: I saw them last year at Y. I like him man,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: and she looked so happy. She looked I really really
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: liked Stevie Jay, that's dude right there. I liked him
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: a lot. Man, just somebody here straight shooting. I like
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: it to man. Well good Stevie and Faith they live
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: in Los Angeles. They decided to fly to Atlanta, and
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: then they wanted to also tell Stevie's daughter Eva that
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: they were married, and Mimi was upset. You know, Mimi
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: is Eva's mom, because she didn't meet Faith first, and
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: she thought that Stevie and the daughter were just gonna
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: be together. So the you know, Eva told her mom,
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: well I met his wife too, and she she was
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: very upset about that. She's like, well, how the daughter,
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: she's like about maybe eight or nine, seven, eight or nine.
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: She's young, she ain't just a girl in hand a video. Yes,
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: Mimi is her mother. Yes, oh yeah. So anyway, that's
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: how she felt. She was a little upset with Stevie
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: about that. We're gonna move on from that, so hit
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: me up at lip Spark, Carla. Do you think Mimi
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: had a point about that. You know, you have a
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: kid and the kid's father is remarried, and the father
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: introduced the child to the wife before you the mother
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: the parents. Well, I don't I don't know that you
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: have to meet the wife, but I think it's a
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: common courtesy to the other parents to mention that there
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: is a woman that lives here in this house. Now,
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: thank you. You have to say that as a co
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: parenting I do think, yeah, yeah, out of respect. You're
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: really right. All right, hit me up at lip Spark, Carla,
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: and we'll talk about its socially and we'll be back
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: at twenty after the hour you're listening to show. All right, Steve,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: it's almost time for your Steve Harvey Mentoring Camp later
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: this year, so tell us about it. We're excited. Tell
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: us about it. Well. Steve Harvey Mentoring Camp for young
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: men between the ages of thirteen and eighteen. I started
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: just back in two thousand and nine. The only things
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: we covered this camp for the principles of manhood and
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: dream building. That's it. We teach the principles of manhood
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: and dream building. And here we are we ten years
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: after it started. This mentor and campus helped so many
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: young men realize their potentially. You know, every boy you
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: meets not going to college. Some of them have turned
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: out to be great military people. Some of them have
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: gone on to college. We've got some engineers, We've got
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: some doctors, we have lawyers. Wow story, we have business owners,
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: we have people who work for other famous people. It's
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: really really I got one kid to create apps. Uh
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: and uh. We have your men come from all walks
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: of life that volunteer each year to be mentors the
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: boys that come to the camp. They attend a series
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: of seminars and workshops, all talking about the principles of manhood,
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: leadership and community empower men. It's a lot of boys
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: that came through that and really, really, I'm really proud
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: of a man. We're taking applications now for the Steve
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: Harvey Minor and Camp for young men. So to apply,
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: here's a deal. You have to be between the ages

- 1:26:41Speaker 1: your father's in your life and in your house, you
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: can't apply. These are for single mothers to help them
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: outraise these boys. You got to be a legal resident
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: of the United States, and nobody flying you from the
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: UK and all that, and nobody got no money for
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: all exmore keys, not that me trying to fly your

- 1:27:11Speaker 1: You know where do they go to? You apply today

- 1:28:03Speaker 1: so we can be prepared for it. Right. You know,
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: we've had some wonderful special need kids down there too.
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: You know, we don't discriminate, but let us know so
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: we can be prepared. We've been shocked and surprised by

- 1:28:41Speaker 1: the red apply Today button. Okay, and fill up the
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: application completely. Most important. Now, thank you, Shirley, You're welcome.
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: Come on your son. Your child can't be thirty. We
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: already covered the age, can't. All right, We'll be back
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: with We'll Bray Show right after this. You're listening to
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: the show. So we all remember the painful NFC championship game.
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: You guys remember this between the Saints and the Rams, right,
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: the La Rams. Yeah, especially Tosh right, Carla. He was
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: very upset. Huh. My husband steal ain't recovering season when
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: the officials missed the past interference called during the fourth
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: quarter and the Saints lost and the Rams advanced to
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: the Super Bowl. Not to mention, there were also miss
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: calls during the Super Bowl fifty two between the Patriots
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: versus Rams. So now, the NFL owners voted Tuesday to
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: allow replay reviews on pass interference calls as well as
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: non calls. All right, The coaches will now have the
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: opportu tunity to challenge pass interference calls or non calls
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: outside of two minutes of each half, while the booth
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: will automatically automatically review any close calls inside of two minutes. Again,
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: coaches still will have two challenges per game, and in
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: the final two minutes of a half or fourth quarter,
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: or for all of overtime, the replay official can order
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: a review of offensive or defensive pass interference. An official
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: can I don't know what I just said anytime? Talking
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: on yourself? Okay, let me have your pay from Let
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: me see something because I got to read some because
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: shared it. I can't ask. I have no idea. So now,
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: NFL owners voted tuesday to allow replay reviews of pass
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: inference calls as well as non called. That means a
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: call can be disputed or no call can be corrected
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: or disputed, right right. Coaches will now have the opportunity
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: to challenge pass interference calls or non calls outside two
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: minutes of each half. Seriously, is this about instant replay? Yeah? Okay,
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: that's what I got out of that. While the booth
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: will automatically review any close calls inside two us Okay,
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: I got it. So the booth handles all of the
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: calls inside two minutes left in the game, two minutes
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: left and a half, and all of overtime. The coaches
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: up to the two minute mark can throw a challenge.
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: After that is purely up to the booth because you know,
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: a coach could have two challenges and be out and
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: that allows the booth to make the call, which then
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: would have had the Saints would have been in the
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: super Bowl. Yeah, that's the point here. Yeah, from my household.
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: Because the coach is gonna have two challenges per game,
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: and the final two minutes of each half for the
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: fourth quarter are all of overtime, the official can order
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: a review of our offensive but defensive passing it. That's
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: a great idea. This is. That's because at first they
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: were talking about they weren't gonna mess with that, but
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: they got to because you can't have a game riding
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: on a miss call because an official is in human. Wow,
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: everybody understands can make that call. So is this just
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: because of that one? Yes? Yes, but I don't like
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: it because he's gonna extend longer. It's gonna be longer.
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: But next we're gonna have holding calls. It's gonna keep going. See,
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: this is a dude. You're not from New Orleans, right
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: What you just said don't mean a damn in New Orleans.
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: I got who right now to get the way way
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: the way you're talking, you probably can't to it on
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: that no more game. I'm just being a fan again,
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: just being I can't believe Steve. All right, we'll be
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: back with the last break of the day and Steve's
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: closing remarks right after this. You're listening to all right, Steve,
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: here we are last break of the day. Time for
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: your closing remarks. We need some wisdom to get us
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: through the rest of the day. What you got don't
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: don't know if this is wisdom more so than it
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: is just inspiration. You know, I want everybody to start
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: thinking in terms of what you can do to contribute
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: to your own happiness. You know, in this world we
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: live in, we have so many external forces at play,
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: so many external entities that are just out there. Man,
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: it just seems like they're on such a negative tangent.
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: It's it can almost be a bit daunting at times.
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: You look at the news, it's negative. You cut on
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: the internet, it's negative. You're washing a blog is negative.
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: You may post something on your own site that you
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: think is perfectly innocent, and out of no where, you
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: get a series of negative comments on it. I mean,
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: you know, you just put a picture you and your
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: kids up or something. But just maybe you're standing in
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: front of something you just say, hey, I was kind
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: of feeling good about myself today, so I took this
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: selfie and here comes somebody's opinion of you that's not positive,
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: and they just got something to say. So whenever I
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: run up into this and I get to see it
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: a lot, you know, I have a huge fan base.
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: Praise God for that. I mean, I really do. I
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: actually thank God for my fans support because the majority
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: of my fans are supportive of me. The problem with
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: it is that hate is louder than love. Love is
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: stronger because when you go against me and you talk
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: about me, you don't know what you do. Hands who
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: love me, they're go ahead, y'all really know Steve, So
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: y'all y'all tripping, or get off his site while y'all
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: saying this, or get off your site while you're saying that.
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: But so, I appreciate fans support and loyalty. But you
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: know what, sometimes, guys, folks, you've got to turn your
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: attention inward, and you really have to work with yourself
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: and work on yourself from the inside out. If you
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: don't fix yourself on the inside, bad stuff can get
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: in there. So you gotta occupy your headspace with good
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: thoughts because if you don't, bad thoughts will creep in.
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: I don't care who you are, you're a human being.
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: From time to time, you're gonna have some negative thoughts.
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: But you can erase the negative thoughts. You really really can.
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: But I want you all to focus on being the
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: best you that you can be. I know that sounds hokey,
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: but I'm really talking about dusting your dreams off. I'm
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: really really talking about you focusing on where you're trying
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: to get to in life and block out all the
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: external negativity because if you don't, the negativity gonna swallow
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: you up and you won't live to your fullest potential.
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: Get your mind right, get your head wrapped on right. Man.
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: Read your Bible, read your Quran, whatever it is you
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: believe it, but read it. Man. Get yourself in a
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: positive position, because you need this internally to fight the
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: external forces that are gathered out there, that are existing
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: simply because they can. It is amazing how many imps
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: that the Devil has that worked for him on a
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: daily basis, who don't even know you, but will come
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: your way just to knock you off course, it's absolutely amazing.
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: It's astonishing. You can't cut CNN on without hearing it.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: You can't cut the Fox News on without hearing it.
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: You got one station love everything Donald Trump. Do you
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: finally got another station trying to tell you everything he
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: doing wrong? Don't see nothing good? And what he's doing
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: you don't even know what that thank half the time
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: no more because these people. But let me tell you something.
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: With both of these networks, CNN and Fox, let me
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: tell you something. They're making a bunch of money off
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: the Donald Trump. When your viewership is over the past
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: two years that Donald Trump has been in office, CNN
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: numbers is at an all time high. They're making a
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: lot of money talking about this man. But Fox is
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: making a lot of money talking about the man too,
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: And he's lining in the pockets of these people, and
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: that's all they care about. They don't really care about
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: your benefit. I'm telling you, man, you got to turn
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: all of your your your your your anxiety, put it
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: in a positive way, and funnel it on the inside.
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: I was watching today something so crazy, this new freshman senator, congresswoman,
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: I can't even think of her name, but she came
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: up with the the deal about global warming. Yeah, and
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: she's got this green, this green deal, and you know what,
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: she's absolutely right. You know, we gotta do something about
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: the thing. It's amazing how we so polarized in our
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: political views that no matter what the left say, the
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: right don't like it, and no matter what the right say,
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: the left don't like it. We can't even agree on
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: a liar when you know the facts to be the facts,
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: and you won't call a liar a liar because you
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: on that side of the party. We got a problem, man,
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: y'all listen to me. Focus on your dreams, don't off
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: your thoughts, don't forget to pray, Stay conscious about who
- 1:38:50Speaker 1: you are. Do not let these politics affect you to
- 1:38:53Speaker 1: the point where you lose sight of who you are
- 1:38:55Speaker 1: and where you're trying to go. They ain't your God
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: and are not cho God. You have a God. He
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: is your one and only God. He mind he yours.
- 1:39:05Speaker 1: That's who your focus should be on. If you're waiting
- 1:39:08Speaker 1: on the White House to come and rescue us, you're
- 1:39:10Speaker 1: gonna be waiting a long time. If you think that
- 1:39:13Speaker 1: the cavalry's coming over the hill and it's in the
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: form of government, you're sadly mistaken. They've never come over
- 1:39:19Speaker 1: the hill. They're not coming. But God Eve and he
- 1:39:26Speaker 1: took a long way around and get to that one
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: point and that's it. But you got there though, y'all.
