A former home health nurse, 63-year-old Carolyn Whittaker, has been convicted of aggravated sexual assault and causing injury to a disabled individual — the victim, who couldn’t see or speak, was under her care. The case broke open when the victim’s grandmother spotted damning surveillance footage, leading to charges. Whittaker received two years in prison and ten years probation, to run concurrently.
