- 0:10Speaker 2: at all.
- 0:10Speaker 3: So given the.
- 0:15Speaker 4: Black the million bush, Yeah, listen to show.
- 0:38Speaker 5: I don't joy, yeah, joy.
- 0:59Speaker 4: You don't you love you? Turn?
- 1:27Speaker 6: We got to turn the mouth turn you probably got
- 1:44Speaker 6: to turn the mouth out.
- 1:46Speaker 4: The money up looking.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on you think huh? I sure will? Good
- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody. You're listening to the voice.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Come on, dig me now, one and only Steve Harley
- 2:10Speaker 2: got a radio show. You know, I think I ought
- 2:12Speaker 2: to explain something to y'all. You know when I wake
- 2:15Speaker 2: up in the morning and I say, dig me now,
- 2:19Speaker 2: what I'm asking you to do is it's old school,
- 2:21Speaker 2: you know, man, And you know you said old people
- 2:24Speaker 2: say I dig you know da da da, never stop
- 2:26Speaker 2: saying that. I'm sorry, but dig me now. It's just
- 2:30Speaker 2: I want you to I wan't you really feel me?
- 2:33Speaker 2: I want you to understand what I'm saying, because really,
- 2:36Speaker 2: this morning inspiration is all given in the spirit of
- 2:40Speaker 2: sharing and love. It ain't about to expose me in
- 2:43Speaker 2: any way. That's not the purpose of it. But I
- 2:46Speaker 2: found that in my morning inspiration that's best that I
- 2:50Speaker 2: use some things about myself, because I mean, what better
- 2:53Speaker 2: example can I use? Because I know me, I know
- 2:55Speaker 2: what's happened to me. I know exactly how I felt
- 2:58Speaker 2: all along the way concerning almost everything, every aspect of
- 3:03Speaker 2: my life. I now fully do really understand why God
- 3:08Speaker 2: had my life spend the way it spun. And here's
- 3:11Speaker 2: the part that I want to give to you this morning,
- 3:13Speaker 2: that first of all, whatever position you find yourself in today,
- 3:18Speaker 2: we kind of come to one realization that we got
- 3:21Speaker 2: ourselves there. We put ourselves there by a series of
- 3:24Speaker 2: thoughts and actions. Thoughts turn into things. That's very important
- 3:31Speaker 2: to know. So let's look at both sides of it.
- 3:34Speaker 2: For people who think negative thoughts, it turns into negative things,
- 3:42Speaker 2: and the direct opposite is true for those who think
- 3:46Speaker 2: positive thoughts, it turns into positive things.
- 3:51Speaker 1: That's the deal. It's as simple as that, folks.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I cannot break it down any cleaner, I cannot make
- 4:00Speaker 2: it any clearer. Thoughts become things. So the one glaring
- 4:07Speaker 2: question for all of us always is on a daily basis,
- 4:11Speaker 2: what are you thinking? What are your thoughts? What are
- 4:15Speaker 2: you thinking? What are your thoughts? Because I can assure
- 4:21Speaker 2: you and is not by a promise of mine. This
- 4:25Speaker 2: is not a theory that Steve Harveyden came up with.
- 4:29Speaker 2: This is a fact of life.
- 4:32Speaker 7: This is biblical, This is spiritual, This is written, This
- 4:36Speaker 7: is philosophical.
- 4:38Speaker 2: This is the law of the universe. However, you need
- 4:41Speaker 2: to drink this medicine to take to get it down
- 4:44Speaker 2: and feel what I'm saying to you. This is just
- 4:47Speaker 2: the way it is now and here the cold part, folks.
- 4:51Speaker 2: It don't matter if you believe me or not. It
- 4:55Speaker 2: does not matter if you have never been explained this
- 5:00Speaker 2: or not. And it does not matter if you think
- 5:03Speaker 2: it works in your life or not.
- 5:05Speaker 1: It don't matter. Listen to me. It is the way
- 5:09Speaker 1: it is. It is as.
- 5:11Speaker 7: Scriptural, it is a spiritual, it is philosophical.
- 5:15Speaker 1: It's just whatever's the law of the universe. You call
- 5:18Speaker 1: whatever you want call it.
- 5:19Speaker 2: However, you got to dress this thing up to put
- 5:22Speaker 2: it in the phase that you can feel me. I
- 5:25Speaker 2: want you to feel me now, because this is all
- 5:27Speaker 2: it is. So when I say that you are where
- 5:31Speaker 2: we are today because we thought ourselves here, are you
- 5:34Speaker 2: best to believe that's true? You thought yourself here, no
- 5:38Speaker 2: one else see. Let me explain something. I got people
- 5:42Speaker 2: around me who so badly want to take credit for it,
- 5:47Speaker 2: but I don't allow it. But because I keep pointing
- 5:51Speaker 2: to the heavens, I keep pointing and trying to say
- 5:56Speaker 2: it out loud as many times as I can without
- 5:59Speaker 2: being so offensive, that my life is by design, by
- 6:05Speaker 2: grace and mercy, by blessings from God. My life is
- 6:09Speaker 2: because God has seen it to be so. Oh, but
- 6:12Speaker 2: I got plenty people around me want credit for it
- 6:15Speaker 2: and want you to not give credit to God and
- 6:18Speaker 2: give it to them.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I got that.
- 6:20Speaker 2: I got that, But I understand that. See, I understand
- 6:23Speaker 2: what that is. That's a person whose design is to
- 6:27Speaker 2: get the credit. But it's okay.
- 6:30Speaker 1: It's so clear to me what my father was saying
- 6:33Speaker 1: to me. Man, I get it.
- 6:34Speaker 2: As I get older and older, he always said to me, son,
- 6:38Speaker 2: everybody come with you can't go with you. See, you know,
- 6:43Speaker 2: I don't know how people say it in church. You
- 6:45Speaker 2: know sometime they go, well, people come into your life
- 6:47Speaker 2: for seasons, and I guess that's the same thing. You
- 6:50Speaker 2: know they seizing up. They gone well, you know, and
- 6:52Speaker 2: then but then hit the way they try to hold
- 6:56Speaker 2: you though, or you're gonna forget where you come from.
- 6:59Speaker 1: You ain't gonna keep it real no more.
- 7:03Speaker 2: I don't want to go back where I come from.
- 7:05Speaker 2: I don't want to keep it that real no more.
- 7:07Speaker 2: It was real enough for me living in the car.
- 7:10Speaker 2: I had enough of that real. I don't gonna keep
- 7:13Speaker 2: it real now. I don't keep it real. I wanna
- 7:14Speaker 2: go keep it dreamy. I want to go keep it fantasized.
- 7:18Speaker 1: I want, I wanna.
- 7:19Speaker 2: I want to keep it out of this world. I
- 7:21Speaker 2: want to keep it off the chain. I want to
- 7:23Speaker 2: keep it moving. I want to keep it ball, and
- 7:25Speaker 2: I want to see what that's like. So nah, I
- 7:28Speaker 2: ain't gonna forget where I come from, but you ain't
- 7:30Speaker 2: gonna hold me to that though See, thoughts become things
- 7:35Speaker 2: all day long? Where's your vision board? Where are the
- 7:40Speaker 2: things that you want written down? What do you think
- 7:43Speaker 2: about the most? How grateful are you for what all
- 7:47Speaker 2: God has done for you? Where you at with that?
- 7:51Speaker 2: See here hear another law? If thoughts become things, let
- 7:57Speaker 2: me ask you this. If all you thinking about is
- 8:01Speaker 2: your debt, if all you're thinking about is what you
- 8:04Speaker 2: ain't got, If all you thinking about or is all
- 8:08Speaker 2: woe is me?
- 8:09Speaker 1: If all you.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Thinking about is every time I turn around, I'm sick.
- 8:12Speaker 2: If all you thinking about it's the things in life
- 8:17Speaker 2: that you're lacking. If that's all you thinking about, and
- 8:22Speaker 2: if thoughts become things, how much debt you think you
- 8:27Speaker 2: gonna stay in, how much, how much how much lacking
- 8:31Speaker 2: you think you're finn to fill your life with? How
- 8:35Speaker 2: much most stuff you fin to not have because you
- 8:39Speaker 2: keep thinking about it all the time. When you're gonna
- 8:43Speaker 2: be grateful, when you're gonna say thank you, when it's
- 8:47Speaker 2: gonna come out your mouth, Man, that I may not
- 8:51Speaker 2: be where I want to be, but I show am
- 8:53Speaker 2: grateful for what you've given me so far, for the
- 8:56Speaker 2: things I have today, because I don't have to have these.
- 9:00Speaker 1: You know what that does? That then opens up room
- 9:03Speaker 1: for more stuff.
- 9:04Speaker 2: To come your way. To be grateful fall. But if
- 9:07Speaker 2: you're gonna be ungrateful, ah, man, let me ask you something.
- 9:10Speaker 2: I ain't God, I don't claim to be, But let
- 9:13Speaker 2: me ask you something, man. If you ungrateful for the
- 9:16Speaker 2: things we got, If we can't show no gratitude for
- 9:19Speaker 2: what we.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Have, why would God give us some most stuff to
- 9:24Speaker 1: be ungrateful for? What would he do that for? Tada?
- 9:29Speaker 2: Anybody feel me right now? So when I say, come on, y'all,
- 9:33Speaker 2: dig me. Now, do you understand why I say dig me?
- 9:35Speaker 2: Because I want you to feel me. I want you
- 9:37Speaker 2: to understand and come to the understanding, not saying you ain't.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Because it's so many people got a deeper understanding than
- 9:42Speaker 2: me about this whole thing.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I promise you they do, but they listen to me.
- 9:47Speaker 2: I'm just trying to get you to walk up in
- 9:48Speaker 2: this light, man, so you can go on with your
- 9:50Speaker 2: life and quit tripping yourself out with your thoughts, because
- 9:53Speaker 2: thoughts become things.
- 9:55Speaker 8: I all day you're listening.

- 14:00Speaker 1: I've been talking with the congregation and my old lady friend.

- 14:14Speaker 2: responses will be given in big word Monday fashion.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Go ahead, deep got made up?
- 14:21Speaker 9: All right.
- 14:22Speaker 1: I don't have any big words, but I do have complaints.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Now.
- 14:27Speaker 12: As you know, pastor were excited to be approaching resurrection Sunday.
- 14:30Speaker 12: The congregation is asking amen. The congregation is asking that
- 14:36Speaker 12: we not the not so smart kids not recite they
- 14:41Speaker 12: Easter speech on Sunday. There are at least fifteen of
- 14:44Speaker 12: them that are we concerned about. But of course, sister,
- 14:50Speaker 12: what was that? Lodna Davis wants de Andre to do
- 14:54Speaker 12: his as you know, he's fifteen and fifth steel in
- 14:56Speaker 12: the fourth grade, but she definitely wants him to do
- 14:59Speaker 12: his speed.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Well, we are going to how many is it, Deacon?
- 15:05Speaker 11: If fifteen of them that were about, we're going to
- 15:09Speaker 11: accept five of them this five of the not so
- 15:13Speaker 11: smart ones, Yes, because we can't sit through fifteen.

- 16:02Speaker 13: five boys and die need a medical assistance dialpolydologists.
- 16:09Speaker 1: You changed it all to go with what I knew.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Make it work, Big word Monday is gonna be hard
- 16:18Speaker 1: on me. Go ahead, all right, I don't think, I
- 16:22Speaker 1: don't think.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Any more responses will be with big words because it
- 16:25Speaker 2: throw comedy to.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 16:29Speaker 12: The Easter egg Hunt committee has a major problem. As
- 16:34Speaker 12: you know, brother Thaddeus Radcliffe, who worked at the veterinary clinic,
- 16:38Speaker 12: brought eggs from his job and they are now mixed
- 16:42Speaker 12: up with the regular eggs.
- 16:43Speaker 1: So he brought snake.
- 16:44Speaker 12: Eggs, alligator eggs, I stick eggs and supposedly be fifteen
- 16:49Speaker 12: penguin eggs. How do you want to handle this pastor
- 16:52Speaker 12: for the east eggs?
- 16:53Speaker 2: Well, I say go ahead and let him. Don't say
- 16:55Speaker 2: nothing to the kids, but I'll tell you what though at.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Him eggs.
- 17:02Speaker 2: And you don't eat them all the day. I'm gonna
- 17:05Speaker 2: be a surprise for you somewhere in the week. You're
- 17:10Speaker 2: gonna look up and be a guater walking around your house.
- 17:14Speaker 1: You ain't gonna like it.
- 17:17Speaker 2: So, uh, you know, I don't know whether what you
- 17:19Speaker 2: can't do it tell these black people that could be
- 17:21Speaker 2: a potential lizard in the house or snake that you
- 17:25Speaker 2: can't do it.
- 17:26Speaker 1: So just let it.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Let let sleeping dogs lie, deacon and deal with it
- 17:32Speaker 2: as it comes. Get get a pet a pet retrieval
- 17:38Speaker 2: service number?
- 17:39Speaker 1: Ready?
- 17:40Speaker 2: Okay, you know how you call like the people that
- 17:42Speaker 2: handle snakes and everything. The penguin is what that they're
- 17:47Speaker 2: gonna bother. It's a snake. They're gonna get loose in
- 17:50Speaker 2: black with car. That's what you need to wver that pink.
- 17:52Speaker 2: That pinkle ain't got no speed and can't hide that good. Yeah,
- 17:57Speaker 2: don't worry about the tree with it. That damn snake.
- 18:00Speaker 2: They can't get snake and lizard in the black people houses.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Might well, my body won't have a bak robber with
- 18:05Speaker 2: a gun sitting in there.
- 18:07Speaker 12: And all right, moving along past, we have a big
- 18:15Speaker 12: issue with a big retail collas. We agree that he
- 18:20Speaker 12: would play Christ in the church play, but the cross
- 18:23Speaker 12: keep breaking due to his weight. He can't we can't
- 18:26Speaker 12: keep him on the cross path to eye and hw
- 18:28Speaker 12: defos say they don't have any wood that can hold him.
- 18:31Speaker 1: What did you want?
- 18:34Speaker 2: Just let everybody walk up to the front and look
- 18:36Speaker 2: down on him and do their lines from there. Yeah,
- 18:40Speaker 2: because he ain't Christ. Noway, we ain't finna look up
- 18:43Speaker 2: to it, but it ain't ho looking it. Who want
- 18:49Speaker 2: to buy down in front of big, big as retail.
- 18:56Speaker 2: If he gonna be the Christ, then you know we're
- 18:58Speaker 2: gonna do we're gonna do a I'll tell you what
- 19:01Speaker 2: we'll do. We're gonna do uh carry on the resurrection scene.
- 19:09Speaker 2: M after, we're gonna just do add on him and
- 19:14Speaker 2: then take retail off the cross down there, get him
- 19:17Speaker 2: out for the Yeah, you do it like that because
- 19:19Speaker 2: he ain't he ain't who.
- 19:20Speaker 1: He don't looking at like wh who I think he is?
- 19:25Speaker 1: All right, I'm sorry here, it was right on that line.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Well, I'm just saying Redale ain't finna play here with
- 19:34Speaker 2: I don't like people playing the role.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Yeah, you better talk. Yeah, yeah, that is fault. But
- 19:43Speaker 1: you the one came in here with the complaint. I'm
- 19:45Speaker 1: just trying to work it.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Right.
- 19:50Speaker 1: We're more z Brudi for Botiful Zime.
- 19:59Speaker 8: You you're listening.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Morning show.
- 20:04Speaker 9: All right, guys, it is time for ask the CLO.
- 20:07Speaker 9: The Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey is in the building.
- 20:09Speaker 9: Are you ready, sir, let's go oh yeah, oh yeah.
- 20:14Speaker 9: This one is from Talia in Atlanta. Talia says, my
- 20:18Speaker 9: husband and I decided to spice up our sex life
- 20:21Speaker 9: after being married for almost twenty years. Back in the day,
- 20:24Speaker 9: we'd have sex anywhere. So he had a brilliant idea
- 20:28Speaker 9: to have sex in the backseat of our car in
- 20:31Speaker 9: the parking.
- 20:32Speaker 8: Lot of a best Buy.
- 20:34Speaker 9: The sneaking part was fun and we were almost done
- 20:38Speaker 9: when someone yelled on the knocked on the window and
- 20:42Speaker 9: it was a parking lot security guard. He yelled, hey,
- 20:46Speaker 9: you can't do that here. The security guard is my
- 20:50Speaker 9: son's friend. What if you recognized me and tells our son,
- 20:55Speaker 9: how do we explain this?
- 20:57Speaker 1: WHOA worried about?
- 21:01Speaker 7: Well?
- 21:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it was with your husband.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Your problem would be if that wasn't your husband, you
- 21:09Speaker 2: can always say, boy, you know good? Hell, well, we
- 21:12Speaker 2: wasn't doing nothing in that damn parking lot. I had
- 21:15Speaker 2: dropped the French fry down in the crack of that
- 21:18Speaker 2: seat and was trying to get down in there and
- 21:20Speaker 2: get that thing. That's all that was damn French fry.
- 21:24Speaker 2: And I still well, I found I found French fry
- 21:26Speaker 2: from last summering.
- 21:27Speaker 1: That just say that. You know, you didn't that word
- 21:29Speaker 1: about it.
- 21:32Speaker 8: But she was naked though, okay, she was naked.
- 21:38Speaker 2: It was almost well, I got hot, you know, I

- 23:36Speaker 9: What.
- 23:36Speaker 1: I keep proving this to y'all over and open and over.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Honesty is not the best policy. I am a proponent
- 23:43Speaker 1: of this. Don't don't do this? So they should just
- 23:48Speaker 1: cad is with you to your grade. Yes, huh, what
- 23:52Speaker 1: if it.
- 23:52Speaker 8: Turns into something? I mean, it has turned into something.
- 23:56Speaker 1: It's all that's gonna be sure.
- 23:58Speaker 8: All it turned into what a real relationship.
- 24:04Speaker 1: That he was saying is he said, just the best sex.
- 24:07Speaker 1: That's all he's said that he is.
- 24:08Speaker 8: He said he has a real attraction to her, and
- 24:11Speaker 8: she wants to tell.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Me a real attraction.
- 24:18Speaker 12: Huh.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Do you know how many real attractions listen to this y'all?

- 25:14Speaker 9: Steve says, I've been driving trucks for ten years and
- 25:17Speaker 9: I'm ready for a career change. I am trying to
- 25:20Speaker 9: lose weight and stop smoking, but it's hard. The reason
- 25:23Speaker 9: I want a lifestyle change is because I met a
- 25:25Speaker 9: special lady recently and I want to see her more.
- 25:29Speaker 8: She says.
- 25:29Speaker 9: She gets lonely when I'm away, so it causes her
- 25:32Speaker 9: to date other men. She said, if I'm home, she
- 25:36Speaker 9: will be all about me. My kids said, I'm falling
- 25:39Speaker 9: for a garden tool, and they told me to get
- 25:43Speaker 9: advice from uncle Steve to Clo before she breaks my heart.
- 25:46Speaker 8: Is she worth my time or not? Clo?
- 25:50Speaker 1: Well, sure, did he give an age?

- 26:03Speaker 2: Yeah, you trying to lose weight because you got this
- 26:06Speaker 2: girl you like and stop smoking because you got this
- 26:10Speaker 2: girl just like and you and when you away, she
- 26:13Speaker 2: says she misses you and it causes her to date
- 26:17Speaker 2: other men.
- 26:18Speaker 1: And if you was around all the time, she could
- 26:20Speaker 1: be about you.
- 26:22Speaker 2: You want to get in a relationship with a person
- 26:24Speaker 2: like this, because see this, if you were here, I
- 26:29Speaker 2: could be all about you, could be you for right now.

- 26:36Speaker 2: way into just Hell, when you went to the store,
- 26:39Speaker 2: I was sitting here.
- 26:42Speaker 8: So I want to date.

- 43:10Speaker 3: the man upstairs is gonna pull you through the success.
- 43:13Speaker 3: Will God bless and keep you? Uh that, Deacon, God
- 43:16Speaker 3: bless and keep you? Because I tell you I'm going
- 43:17Speaker 3: through something here. Me and my wife, we've been talking
- 43:20Speaker 3: about it and we've been praying on it. And it
- 43:22Speaker 3: shows a wonderful thing to know that your church is
- 43:25Speaker 3: with you and and y'all thinking about me in prayer.
- 43:27Speaker 3: I I really had to take this this to the Lord.
- 43:31Speaker 3: This is a serious thing with me and I ain't
- 43:33Speaker 3: never had an operation before in my life, and I
- 43:36Speaker 3: know I needed my wife have made it clear, the
- 43:38Speaker 3: doctor that made it clear, and I believe I'm ready
- 43:40Speaker 3: to go forward with Deacon and we're gonna give the
- 43:43Speaker 3: victory to who the victory, which, yes, sir, he's the victory.
- 43:48Speaker 3: Let me let me have a word of prayer with
- 43:49Speaker 3: your brother col if you don't mind, just bout your
- 43:52Speaker 3: head from me. Father God, we ask right now, we
- 43:54Speaker 3: ask right now that you touch brother Connley as he
- 43:58Speaker 3: goes in on Friday, please put your hands on him.
- 44:01Speaker 3: We ask Father that you hold on to the doctor
- 44:04Speaker 3: that's getting ready to go and put surgery on it. Yes,
- 44:07Speaker 3: we asked that you make sure that the doctor he's
- 44:11Speaker 3: got a strong eye on that morning walk with him.
- 44:14Speaker 3: We asked that that that he got a steady hand
- 44:17Speaker 3: when he got the Scoppel in his hand. We asked
- 44:19Speaker 3: that you hold on to it he as he goes
- 44:23Speaker 3: into a surgery, because we know, come side the morning
- 44:26Speaker 3: now the victory going belong to brother Conley and the Lord,
- 44:30Speaker 3: thank you Lord, we know all of it. But we
- 44:32Speaker 3: we asked that you take that paincreas and you remove
- 44:35Speaker 3: it out successfully, close him back up like it will
- 44:38Speaker 3: never been into the end before walk with me. That's
- 44:41Speaker 3: what we're asking. We ask your Lord at the same
- 44:43Speaker 3: time that they're removing this pancreous Lord, we asked that
- 44:47Speaker 3: you reach around his backside, and we asked that you
- 44:51Speaker 3: touch his kidney. Lord, touch his kidney and make it hold.
- 44:54Speaker 3: Make it one hundred and ten percent. We want you
- 44:57Speaker 3: to make that kidney like it's been thet back. It
- 45:00Speaker 3: was Deacon. That's Deacon, Deacon who packed Deacon passion. Yes, yes,
- 45:06Speaker 3: I ain't they dump, sir. There's nothing wrong with my kidney. Deacon,
- 45:09Speaker 3: I'm doing I'm doing fine. The Lordest, the Lordest then
- 45:12Speaker 3: made it. Well, he's gonna work on my package. That's
- 45:14Speaker 3: what the doctors operating though. They don't me forward, and
- 45:17Speaker 3: that's what they playing and remove. So really, my kidney
- 45:20Speaker 3: is fined. They did what they called it when they
- 45:21Speaker 3: me in my eyes, and everything else is fine. They
- 45:24Speaker 3: ain't working on nothing but my package, sir, right right right, Well,
- 45:27Speaker 3: let me let me say I'm glad you brought that up.
- 45:29Speaker 3: This This wouldn't reason why I call you, uh huh
- 45:32Speaker 3: uh of course I did call to pray for you. Yes,
- 45:35Speaker 3: you know, because I want to make sure that that
- 45:37Speaker 3: that that you make it through this successfully. But what
- 45:39Speaker 3: another reason why I was getting around it is here
- 45:42Speaker 3: is uh, what I want to ask you, and I
- 45:45Speaker 3: know we we you know we've never met face to face.
- 45:47Speaker 3: I've seen you a couple of times, like I said,
- 45:48Speaker 3: the church, but you've been out most time. Uh well
- 45:51Speaker 3: you're with your sickness and whatnot. But now, what what
- 45:54Speaker 3: I was gonna ask you was, yeah, and I know
- 45:58Speaker 3: this is I hate to come at you and the
- 46:00Speaker 3: final hour and you're getting ready to go have certain
- 46:02Speaker 3: and all that. But if you don't mind it, if
- 46:05Speaker 3: you could see it in your heart to see to
- 46:08Speaker 3: do something for somebody else, Yes, Uh, that's that's the
- 46:12Speaker 3: last will. You always supposed to have those who right right,
- 46:15Speaker 3: And I'm glad you think like that when they go
- 46:19Speaker 3: in on Friday morning and and remove that paincre is out.
- 46:23Speaker 3: Do you think that that that that they could go
- 46:27Speaker 3: in and get one of your kidneys? Because I need
- 46:31Speaker 3: one hold hold on just what you say, see see
- 46:38Speaker 3: see what else I've been going through myself with a
- 46:40Speaker 3: little helment and and I'm wondering if if I need
- 46:44Speaker 3: a kidney, and I'm wondering if you can give me
- 46:45Speaker 3: one of yours when they go in and get your paint,
- 46:47Speaker 3: because they go already have your open. Did you say
- 46:50Speaker 3: you wanted them to take one of my kidneys? Yeah,
- 46:53Speaker 3: and give it to me because I need one. You
- 46:55Speaker 3: need a kidney? Yeah, but what I mean you're already
- 46:58Speaker 3: gonna be laying there open them in the mister, you
- 47:01Speaker 3: need a kidney. I need help with my pastors. You
- 47:03Speaker 3: gonna call me with some flat that. Man, this ain't

- 47:07Speaker 3: dicon like I said, dickon patters in my name. But
- 47:11Speaker 3: see what I'm asking you? If what can me? Man?
- 47:15Speaker 3: Brother Conny, what harm is it? If you already open
- 47:18Speaker 3: and laying on the table. Oh, you ain't heard a
- 47:20Speaker 3: damn thing I said?
- 47:21Speaker 1: Have you?
- 47:21Speaker 3: I said, I'll be man, you crazy as hell. Now

- 48:10Speaker 3: All I'm saying is, if you're gonna be opening laying

- 51:01Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 51:01Speaker 9: Nephew's subject My husband is a thug and a prominent pastor. Okay,
- 51:08Speaker 9: Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been married for seven years. I'm
- 51:11Speaker 9: forty three and my husband is thirty eight. But he
- 51:14Speaker 9: acts like the world owes him something and always has
- 51:17Speaker 9: a chip on his shoulder. He is argumentative and I
- 51:21Speaker 9: wanna be thug. He grew up in a rough area
- 51:24Speaker 9: and he had to make it out of a hood
- 51:26Speaker 9: on his own. But he won't acknowledge that he's in
- 51:29Speaker 9: a much better place spiritually and financially now. He will
- 51:32Speaker 9: preach a good sermon on Sunday, but Monday through Saturday,
- 51:36Speaker 9: he curses, drinks, and he's a womanizing thug. He curses
- 51:41Speaker 9: like a sailor, and he loves to brag about fighting
- 51:44Speaker 9: and who's behind. He could whoop if he had a chance.
- 51:47Speaker 9: He's cheated on me twice. The second time it happened,
- 51:51Speaker 9: I checked out of the marriage. I would love to
- 51:54Speaker 9: divorce him, but I can't because he is my sole
- 51:58Speaker 9: source of income. I got laid off in April of
- 52:01Speaker 9: last year, and I'm having a hard time finding a
- 52:04Speaker 9: full time job. He stands in the pulpit on Sunday's
- 52:08Speaker 9: while I sit amongst the two or more women he
- 52:10Speaker 9: slept with at the church. A few sundays ago, a
- 52:14Speaker 9: female church member approached me and said my husband made
- 52:17Speaker 9: inappropriate remarks to her. I told her that she should
- 52:20Speaker 9: tell her husband. A couple of days later, my husband
- 52:23Speaker 9: came home and said he got into a verbal altercation
- 52:26Speaker 9: with the lady's husband, and I acted surprised.
- 52:30Speaker 8: My husband was flustered and embarrassed. I'm thinking all of
- 52:34Speaker 8: the men in the church need to know what he's
- 52:36Speaker 8: up to.
- 52:37Speaker 9: The two church members he slept with are married, and
- 52:39Speaker 9: I think their husband should know what my husband has
- 52:42Speaker 9: been doing. Should I start a war at the church
- 52:45Speaker 9: or leave.
- 52:45Speaker 8: Vengeance up to the Lord?
- 52:47Speaker 9: Well, I'll say no, definitely, don't start a war at
- 52:50Speaker 9: the church. And the first lady, you know, the Bible
- 52:53Speaker 9: does say vengeance is mine. You know that vengeance is
- 52:56Speaker 9: mine saith the Lord, so you already know the answer
- 53:00Speaker 9: to that. The question is what are you going to do?
- 53:04Speaker 9: I mean, I'm trying to figure out how you're still
- 53:06Speaker 9: with him.
- 53:07Speaker 8: He's a hypocrite.
- 53:09Speaker 9: He's supposed to be a changed man, and you know
- 53:12Speaker 9: all of that practice what he preaches every Sunday. And
- 53:15Speaker 9: you know, of course, I'm not saying that he should
- 53:17Speaker 9: be perfect, because you know he's still a man, of course,
- 53:20Speaker 9: but nothing in the letter says that he's a man
- 53:24Speaker 9: of God except for that he goes Sunday and preaches
- 53:28Speaker 9: and preaches a good sermon. But after that money through Saturday,
- 53:32Speaker 9: you know he's all in this thug life or whatever
- 53:35Speaker 9: he's been trying to do. You say, he's a womanizing thug,
- 53:41Speaker 9: but then you're dependent upon him financially, so.
- 53:44Speaker 8: That makes it hard for you to lead. He's a cheater.
- 53:47Speaker 9: You've been humiliated every Sunday when you see these women's faces.
- 53:51Speaker 9: Your man is sexually harassing women at the church, and
- 53:54Speaker 9: and just wrong. He's just wrong on every level. I mean,
- 53:58Speaker 9: you can't change him, but I guess, you know, I
- 54:03Speaker 9: guess you should be planning your escape. I mean I
- 54:06Speaker 9: say escape because you got to get away from him
- 54:08Speaker 9: at least for a little while.
- 54:09Speaker 8: You got to do something.
- 54:10Speaker 9: I mean, he's not showing any signs of stopping, he's
- 54:14Speaker 9: not showing any signs of remorse or anything.
- 54:16Speaker 8: And he's being very disrespectful and self destructive. You know,
- 54:20Speaker 8: really trying not to.
- 54:23Speaker 9: I do ask you this, Try not to make any
- 54:25Speaker 9: emotional decisions like telling the husbands. You know, like you
- 54:29Speaker 9: said at the end of the letter, let God handle that.
- 54:33Speaker 9: You just continue to look for a job because you
- 54:36Speaker 9: know something is going to give eventually. See if you
- 54:38Speaker 9: have any friends or family members you can trust that
- 54:40Speaker 9: maybe can help you. And in the meantime, maybe you
- 54:43Speaker 9: could suggest counseling. I doubt if he'll go, maybe you
- 54:47Speaker 9: can suggest that. But definitely you have to change your situation,
- 54:51Speaker 9: your pattern, what you're doing, so to start.
- 54:54Speaker 8: Saving up if you can, you know, get a.
- 54:56Speaker 9: Little part time job or something you're looking for full time.
- 55:00Speaker 9: But you gotta get out of there because this is
- 55:03Speaker 9: not healthy, especially for you.
- 55:05Speaker 1: Steve.
- 55:08Speaker 2: You know this letter right here, it starts off as
- 55:11Speaker 2: a major conflict, just the subject my husband is a thug,
- 55:18Speaker 2: and a prominent pastor. What Okay, let's just deal with
- 55:23Speaker 2: the he's a pastor part because he's really not a thug.
- 55:26Speaker 2: He's really really not He's nothing in this letter he
- 55:29Speaker 2: does is thuggish. I'm just but but he's supposed to
- 55:33Speaker 2: be a pastor, So let's get with the conflict right away.
- 55:37Speaker 2: He acts like the world owes him. First of all,
- 55:39Speaker 2: you took forty three and he thirty eight. What did
- 55:42Speaker 2: he say to you to get you in the first place?
- 55:44Speaker 2: I don't even understand this here, But that ain't what
- 55:47Speaker 2: the letter's about. But let me show you the conflict
- 55:50Speaker 2: of him being a prominent pastor. First thing, he acts
- 55:54Speaker 2: like the world owes him something. Here's another one. He
- 55:58Speaker 2: always has a chip on him shoulder. Here's another one.
- 56:02Speaker 2: He's argumentive, and last but not least, he's a wanna
- 56:07Speaker 2: be thug. How the hell did he get to be
- 56:11Speaker 2: the pastor?
- 56:13Speaker 1: Right?
- 56:13Speaker 2: I mean, just these four qualities right here? How did
- 56:17Speaker 2: he become a prominent pastor? He grew up in the
- 56:22Speaker 2: in the rough air, had to make it out the
- 56:23Speaker 2: hood on his own. How many you know how many
- 56:25Speaker 2: of us got that story?
- 56:27Speaker 1: Three on this show? Three on this show that Damn
- 56:30Speaker 1: everybody I know that's anything.
- 56:35Speaker 2: Damn there got that story. Tell all of us on
- 56:38Speaker 2: this show, got that story. So what is he talking about?
- 56:43Speaker 2: He don't acknowledge that he's in a much better place spiritually.
- 56:48Speaker 1: What I can't tell you. I'm just let it just
- 56:51Speaker 1: too much with all Right, here we go.
- 56:54Speaker 2: He will preach a good sermon on Sunday, but Monday
- 56:57Speaker 2: through Saturday he cusses, he drinks, and he's a womanizing thug. Okay,
- 57:04Speaker 2: now let's let's let's go back. He's your husband and
- 57:09Speaker 2: you're putting up with the cuss in to drinking and womanize.
- 57:13Speaker 2: He cutses like a sailor, loves a brag about fighting,
- 57:16Speaker 2: hold on and who's behind. He could whoop if he
- 57:18Speaker 2: had a chance.
- 57:20Speaker 9: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming twenty twenty
- 57:23Speaker 9: three minutes after the hour subject my husband is a
- 57:27Speaker 9: thug and a prominent pastor. We'll get back into it
- 57:29Speaker 9: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Shopping

- 58:06Speaker 9: The subject My husband is a thug and a prominent pastor.
- 58:11Speaker 2: All right, the prominent pastor has these following qualities the world. Oh,
- 58:16Speaker 2: he acts like the world owe him something. He always
- 58:18Speaker 2: got a chip on his shoulder. He's argumented, and he's
- 58:21Speaker 2: a wanna be thug. You're married to him. He worked
- 58:25Speaker 2: his way out the hood, but he won't acknowledge that
- 58:27Speaker 2: he's in a better place because he wants to hold
- 58:29Speaker 2: up this little thug mentality for some dumb ass reason.
- 58:33Speaker 1: He'll preach a.
- 58:34Speaker 2: Good sermon on Sunday, but Monday through Saturday, he cusses, drinks,
- 58:39Speaker 2: and he's a womanizing thug. So he has a lot
- 58:43Speaker 2: of women, and obviously you know this cusses like a Salem.
- 58:47Speaker 2: He loves a brag about fighting and who's behind. He
- 58:50Speaker 2: could whoop if he had a chance. You always got
- 58:52Speaker 2: your chance to jump on somebody if that opportunity it's available.
- 58:57Speaker 2: Twenty four seven. You just going over there and start
- 58:59Speaker 2: to fight, if that's what you want to do. He
- 59:01Speaker 2: just talking, He running his damn mouth.
- 59:04Speaker 1: He ain't whooping.
- 59:05Speaker 2: Nobody asks. But this dude right here is worse than that.
- 59:09Speaker 2: Now you said he's cheated on me twice. The second
- 59:13Speaker 2: time it happened, you checked out the marriage. Then you
- 59:17Speaker 2: say I would love to divorce him, but I can't
- 59:19Speaker 2: because he's my sole source of income. Okay, now we
- 59:23Speaker 2: have to deal with this part for a second. So
- 59:27Speaker 2: I understand that. I mean, look, don't think I don't.
- 59:30Speaker 1: So I got it. You you ain't got no means
- 59:33Speaker 1: of taking care of yourself and everything. I get it.
- 59:36Speaker 1: I'm not naive to that. But now let's go over
- 59:40Speaker 1: what you have to swallow to have this roof over
- 59:43Speaker 1: your head and car to drive. He acts like the
- 59:47Speaker 1: world owe him something.
- 59:49Speaker 2: He's argumented, got a chip on his shoulder, He's sleeping
- 59:54Speaker 2: with women at the church. You know about it, and
- 59:59Speaker 2: you got to de with all that if you want
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: to keep having the key to that house. I just
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: I don't is it worth it?
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Is it worth it?
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: You know? I would love to divorce him, but I
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: can't because he's my sole source of inquer I got
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: laid off in April last year, having a hard time
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: find a full time job. He stands in the pull
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: pitch on Sundays while I sit amongst the two or
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: more women he slept with at the church.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Woo you you bad girl. You you you're a bad girl. Man.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: You use use a bad girl, and you gotta swallow
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: a lot. Look, I don't know where your relatives at.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: I don't know who you could move in with temporarily.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: I don't know if you think you're walking away from
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: something and leaving it to somebody else. But you ain't
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: got nothing else. I mean, he's doggish, man, This dude
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: is doggish. But here the one that got it. A
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: few sundays ago, female churchmen approached me and said, my
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: husband and made an inappropriate remark to her.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: You told her you should tell her husband.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: A couple days later, my husband came home, said he
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: got into a verbal altercation with the lady's husband and
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: acted surprise.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: What happened to all that ass whooping he was gonna die.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Remember that? Remember that. You know, if you really wanted
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: to whoop somebody ass, this was the perfect opportunity.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: Dude up in your face accusing you of something, you
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: probably gonna act like you didn't do.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: So you're gonna act like you didn't say it.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: You got to because you're the pastor because you can't
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: admit it, because you know if you admit you did
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: what you said, you know this dude gonna light into you.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: So your little husband is a little coward.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: Now, my husband was flustered and embarrassed once again?
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: What happened to this ass whooping he been wanting to do?
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: See the man approached you. Now you flustered in the back.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: Where is all when you come home? Give me one?
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Come on, Jack Johnson, show me something. All right?
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: I'm thinking of all the men in the church that
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: need to know what he's up to, the two church
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: members he slept.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: With or married, and I think that husband should know
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: what my husband has been doing.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: Okay, now, your husband has been talking about whooping a
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: lot of people's behind. But if you go to these women,
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: husband and tumness, hen, he's sure gonna be involved.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: In the ass who was there, and he ain't gonna
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: want neither one of them.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: But they gonna do something to your husband, see you,
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: they gonna do something to him then, So I agree
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: with Shirley. I don't think you should say it to them.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: I think the bigger problem for you is what you
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: gonna do. I think that's the bigger problem. I think
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: your situation you should start focusing on you. You've already
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: checked out the marriage. It ain't much of a marriage.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: What you're willing to lose you don't have.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: You don't have.
- 1:03:10Speaker 9: No.
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: He's disrespectful, he's misleading, he's overbearing, he's the bully pool pit,
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: he's abusive to you.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: He treats you any kind of way. And if I
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: were you, I would just find a way to remove
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: myself from that situation. All you got to do is
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: gone by your business. You ain't got to do nothing.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: You can't stand in the pul pit claim to be
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: God's man and be doing what you want. You might
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: be getting away with it to them people, but you
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: ain't getting away from God. You walk away from this,
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: Go set yourself up, Go stay at the relative's house,
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: get out of that situation. Because the London Bridge is
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: falling down.
- 1:03:48Speaker 9: Yep, all right, post comment, Thank you Steve and Today's
- 1:03:51Speaker 9: Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook.

- 1:03:57Speaker 9: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, there's a new
- 1:04:01Speaker 9: study out and researchers have identified a strong sign of
- 1:04:05Speaker 9: lying is mimicking the body language of the person they're
- 1:04:09Speaker 9: lying too, a liar and a copycat. The title of
- 1:04:13Speaker 9: a new study now published in the Royal Society's Open
- 1:04:17Speaker 9: Science Journal could later lead to application applications of the
- 1:04:21Speaker 9: theory in criminal justice. Wow, So Steve, Tommy and Jr.
- 1:04:26Speaker 9: What's your physical tell when you're lying? I? Can you not?
- 1:04:32Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: Can you not?
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Look at Why would we sit here and tell that
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: right there? Why would we do that? We know I'm
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: I ain't got no tail. I lie to you dead
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: in your faces. I ain't no tail, ain't.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: You can't ever bust me on the original line. You
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: can go days and do some fact checking and come
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: up with the truth. But the moment I'm telling the lie,
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: very very.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: Girl? What what tail? Right now? Sure?
- 1:05:10Speaker 8: Color is your shirt?
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: But is it?
- 1:05:17Speaker 8: Is it it's leopard.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: Excuse me? Have you ever seen when? Have you ever
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: seen a black leopard?
- 1:05:30Speaker 8: That's the jaguar.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: Jaguar. Wipe your camera off.
- 1:05:37Speaker 8: You're just gonna go with the like.
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: Right down.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: I got to keep it going. Have you ever been something?
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: Have y'all not immediately let me ask you something. Y'all
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: probably y'all ain't never took a polygraph before?
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: You never took you took a pograph? Hell yeah, what
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: a comedy.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: Take the tail it take. I didn't become a comedian
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: until I was twenty seven. I didn't get famous at
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: this till I was thirty eight. Ply, have I ever
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: took a product? Have federal charges you?
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: Please? You have them gone. I've been cleared. I'm fine.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: It's been way more seven years. I can't get on
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: none of this year.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: I took your past, every line, my ass off.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: The time, lie right to his head.
- 1:06:35Speaker 8: You need to go on first forty eight or something.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: The only thing got me was that video surveillance. I
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: was standing there right there with the dude.
- 1:06:44Speaker 8: Yeah, when the truth, that's.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: How you get good at it. Shirley and caler.
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: What you have to lie when you don't have to
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: lie that get that gives you the expatise at it, y'all,
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: wait till it's time to lie.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: No work on that.
- 1:07:00Speaker 8: That's a horrible liar. I'm a horrible life I really am.
- 1:07:04Speaker 8: I really am. I'm the worst.
- 1:07:06Speaker 9: All right, you're listening.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Morning show.
- 1:07:12Speaker 9: All right, So guys, here's a question for you. Do
- 1:07:14Speaker 9: you have a hiding place in your home to just
- 1:07:18Speaker 9: have a few minutes alone?
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: You know?
- 1:07:20Speaker 9: I mean everybody should have some place, some little getaway
- 1:07:24Speaker 9: place that they can have some me time. For instance,
- 1:07:27Speaker 9: some women like to have what they call a she
- 1:07:29Speaker 9: shed or a small room that they can read in
- 1:07:31Speaker 9: or just chill in.
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: You know what.
- 1:07:34Speaker 8: I love the bathroom.
- 1:07:35Speaker 9: Men usually go into the garage or their man cave
- 1:07:38Speaker 9: or the basement or someplace. Do you take an extended
- 1:07:42Speaker 9: break in your home hiding place? Do you do it
- 1:07:44Speaker 9: every day?
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Is the question?
- 1:07:47Speaker 9: Or does your family know not to disturb you when
- 1:07:49Speaker 9: you're in your favorite room or you're hiding place. Come on, Steve,
- 1:07:53Speaker 9: I know you take time for yourself.
- 1:07:55Speaker 8: Yeah, I've always done that.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: I go to San Diego lead a house. Yeah, get
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: the hell out. Can't follow me down there, Damn. Grandkids
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: know how to use the elevator and everything. I'll be damn,
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: I'm going to Sandy Egg.
- 1:08:12Speaker 8: It's beautiful there.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: I don't care if it is just they're not there.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: You got one. Yeah, I left.
- 1:08:20Speaker 8: I will be in my bathroom for out words.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: Okay. I was in the bathroom in the bad.
- 1:08:26Speaker 9: Because I have a TV in there, and you know
- 1:08:28Speaker 9: I do my makeup, you know. Yeah, I don't mean
- 1:08:30Speaker 9: the water.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: You don't mean the toilet.
- 1:08:33Speaker 8: No, no, no, I don't spend most.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: Of my time. I spend most of my time in
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: the bathroom.
- 1:08:38Speaker 8: No, no, not there.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: I just wanted to be the outer part. Yeah. Yes,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: that's a separate with the bathroom. I got my TV
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: right in front of the toilet and a computer. Oh
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: that's how you go from now, that's how you I don't.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: Miss nothing because when I'm watching the game, I just
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: get up and going in the bathroom.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: It's on the wall right in front of you. That's yeah.
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: That I ain't nothing up a little high where you
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: can keep your head up. You don't want to look
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: even keep your head up. Your digestive track is more open, slight.
- 1:09:17Speaker 8: What about you tell me.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: I'm in my theater. I can get away from the theater.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: Did you hear that, rich ass? Yeah, yeah, you said
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: a rich asd statement. I ain't saying that. You said,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: my kids on my grand baby's on the elevator. I
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: ain't saying nothing about your elevator in your house. I
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: ain't no. I know you did say that. I was

- 1:09:52Speaker 8: Yeah, let's hear from the poet, I have a theater.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: What I had to do is take some some drapes
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: and put him on the side of the TV.
- 1:10:02Speaker 8: Make my ass a field with the.
- 1:10:06Speaker 16: I'm gonna make a theater. Hold on, y'all, come out.
- 1:10:09Speaker 16: The kitchen's gonna hit you. I'm gonna make a field.
- 1:10:15Speaker 16: That boy that Paul told be nice.
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: I ain't me.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: I go to my theater thoroughly. Never nothing. I can't
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: say nothing.
- 1:10:32Speaker 8: How many seats in the theater.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: I'm not telling you so many. They can't find him
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: in there. You'll shut up, Steve, where is that in
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: this theater? Go down front? See if he's down now
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: after the theater, I better take my hand down. I
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: ain't gonna look in the bric and to see it
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: be up now. Donay ask me where I go to
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: get away? That's all I said.
- 1:11:01Speaker 8: Man, well the Lord is still blessing.
- 1:11:06Speaker 4: I didn't even know you had.

- 1:11:15Speaker 1: I got to change. I talked to him.
- 1:11:16Speaker 8: Man missed the nephew.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: Now, hey, missus, nephew, what time you go down.
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: To the.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: Oha?
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: What so, Steve?
- 1:11:27Speaker 8: In case you don't make it to San Diego? What
- 1:11:29Speaker 8: what room in your home do you go to? Where
- 1:11:31Speaker 8: do you go?
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: I'll go all the way down to the basement. Just
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: down there though, down there this little man cave.

- 1:12:13Speaker 9: study couples and found that sex counts as moderate exercise
- 1:12:17Speaker 9: as it revs up the heart rate and burns calories,
- 1:12:20Speaker 9: but just how much varies widely.
- 1:12:22Speaker 8: The amount of time people spend.

- 1:12:59Speaker 8: That's the question.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: Okay. I can't have nothing on me when I mean,

- 1:16:29Speaker 9: But you rather have the ability to read minds? Or
- 1:16:33Speaker 9: would you rather have the ability to move objects with
- 1:16:36Speaker 9: your mind?
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: Moving the object you want to read? Mind? I know
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: you don't like me. I don't need to read you,
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: my man. No, I don't need that.
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: I want to move stuff with my mind. All right,
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: you walking down the street, I move that mail box.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: Over in front of your ass. You can watch your learning.
- 1:16:59Speaker 9: Oh man, come forty nine minutes after the hour, it's
- 1:17:02Speaker 9: our last break of the day and we'll get some
- 1:17:04Speaker 9: closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey right
- 1:17:07Speaker 9: after this. You're listening Harvey Morning Show. All right, here
- 1:17:11Speaker 9: we are, Steve, last break of the day. It's been
- 1:17:14Speaker 9: a great day.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: What a day.
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: What a day.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: Yeah, it's been a crazy day today.
- 1:17:22Speaker 9: So Steve, now it's time for you to take us
- 1:17:24Speaker 9: home with your closing remarks.
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: My closing remarks today are going to be based around
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: the value of yourself. I think this is important. Tommy
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: sent this to me, you know, a billboard, and it
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: really triggered me to think. And I'm gonna share that
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: with you. But it all pertains to the value of yourself.
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: This can pertain to you in terms of reaching your goals,
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: your dreams, all in business, and this is for you
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: to consider in the relationship of love. It is amazing
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: to me while I talk to people and people talk
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: about how they're being treated and handled it and represented
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: and dealt with, and how they can't seem to get
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: nobody to see they value and they worth.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: And I'm sitting the bit going, wait a minute, wait
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: a minute.
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: You can't try to get someone to see something in
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: you that you don't see in yourself.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: It starts with you.
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: You know, you all heard the saying beauty is on
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: the inside. It's not just skin deep. That's true. Confidence
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: is not an outward emotion. It's something that starts from within.
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: Everything starts from within, and it exudes and and and
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: and manifest itself in the outward shape of form. So
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: if you want people to value you, you must first
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: value yourself. I tell my daughters all the time. You
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: can train a man how to treat you well, Daddy,
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: how do you train a man You just don't accept
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: bad treatment from him. If you don't accept bad treatment
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: from him, little girl of mine, then.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: Guess what he can't keep giving it to you. A
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: person can only treat you the way you allow them
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: to do it.
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: If you don't accept a man coming to pick you
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: up late all the time, but you stop going with
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: him every time he late, the next time he want
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: to go out with you, he got to be on time.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: Now. If he don't want to be on time, then
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: guess what. You don't go out.
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: You've trained him how to treat you, and if he
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: don't line up with what you want, then guess what
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: he not for you. At least you don't have to
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: be mistreated the way he want to treat you by
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: simply not allowing him to.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: Treat you anyway he it wants to.
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: You cannot have high value for yourself and expect someone
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: else to have a high value of you. That goes
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: into same thing with business. You can't go in and
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: ask for a raise if you don't think you deserve one.
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: What would cause you to walk in there and ask
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: for a raise if you don't think you deserve one,
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: if you don't have the facts to back up a raise.
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: You can't want more money just because you don't spend
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: all the money you had.
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: You got to go in there and.
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: Ask for a raise because you can show value to
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: the company. You're worth this much more to the company.
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: The company has become this because of you. Then you
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: can show your value. Then you can go in there
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: with a raise, and you can go in there with
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: some confidence with the raise. It happens with goals and dreams.
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: If you aim too low, your problem is you might
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: hit it. But I'm gonna say that for tomorrow. So
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: it's what you think of yourself, how you value yourself,
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: that matters most. Now, let me tell you, or was
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: sent to me. Listen to this real careful, because this
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: is gonna register with a lot of people.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: Listen to me.
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: If you aren't being treated with love and respect, check
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: your price tag. Maybe you've marked yourself down. Is you
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: who tells people what you're worth. Get off the clearest
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: rack and get behind the glass where they keep the valuables.
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: It is you who tells people what you're worth. Get
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: off the clearest rack and get behind the glass where
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: they keep the valuables. Stop acting like you a sidewalk sail.
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: Stop acting like you can be picked up at the
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: swap meet. Stop acting like you belong in the Junkyard.
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: You a new car, don't act.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: Like an old car.
- 1:21:50Speaker 2: I don't care how old you are to somebody. You
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: got to be a new car. Stop putting yourself on
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: the sales rack. Clearly you deserve full price. If you
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: lower the value for yourself, that's what we'll pay for you,
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: and that's how we'll treat you, and that's how we respect.
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: If you don't respect yourself, if I see you constantly
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: disrespecting yourself, then you're gonna turn to me and demand respect.
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: How how does that work?
- 1:22:19Speaker 11: Be?
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: That be a coat where they got to lock on it. See,
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: you can't take me off the rat and just try
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: me on. No, that ain't how this work.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: See. But now you go over that to that valuable
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: section in the store. You know everybody been to Macy's.
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: You got that stuff where you got to go get
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: a salesperson to come and unlock it for you to
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: even try it on. That's cause they don't put a
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: value on that. Or you can going over there and
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: just put the little shirt on. T shirts ain't locked up.
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: Anybody can get one if you steal this T shirt.
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: It ain't that big a loss. That ain't a four dollars,
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: pack of three. Come over here by the swede, Come
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: over here by this first stuff. We got locks on
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: this stuff right here because it had value. We know
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: it has value, so we can't just let you try
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: to stop letting people just try you on. You got it,
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: put a value to yourself, maintain it, you determine your value.
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: Don't let other people do it. You do it all right.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: Those are my closing.
- 1:23:17Speaker 8: Drop the mic, drop the mic, baby.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: Thank you, Tommy, appreciate you. Pimp needed that.
