- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks. Things in the stubs stood listening to mogether
- 0:27Speaker 1: for st Please I don't join join me. You gotta
- 1:01Speaker 1: turn you go, You gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:43Speaker 1: You got to turn them out. Then turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come come on your baby, I shall well.
- 2:03Speaker 1: I good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and only. Steve Harvey
- 2:11Speaker 1: got a radio show. Man. I love it when I
- 2:16Speaker 1: run up into people and they say that to me.
- 2:17Speaker 1: They say, hey, Steve Harvey got a radio show. Then
- 2:20Speaker 1: they wink cap man. I know they're listening. You know.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I got a lot off my chest yesterday. I wanted
- 2:24Speaker 1: to clear some things up. And I appreciate y'all giving
- 2:27Speaker 1: me a minute, because sometimes, you know, you just gotta
- 2:30Speaker 1: say some things out loud. Not complaining, but hey, just verbalizing,
- 2:35Speaker 1: but realizing that I gotta keep going anyway. And that's
- 2:39Speaker 1: for my words this morning to you that I want
- 2:43Speaker 1: you to keep pushing no matter what happens. I want
- 2:48Speaker 1: to share something with you that's important, that's very, very important. See,
- 2:55Speaker 1: you have to give God something too, bless you know,
- 3:01Speaker 1: if your prayer is asking for God's blessings, you got
- 3:05Speaker 1: to give him something to work with. Now, you know,
- 3:10Speaker 1: you gotta show the spirit of appreciation or gratitude. You
- 3:16Speaker 1: gotta let him know that you're in it for the
- 3:18Speaker 1: long haul. No matter what happens. Don't turn around. You
- 3:25Speaker 1: will never ever see what the end could be. If
- 3:31Speaker 1: you turn around and go back, You'll never know what
- 3:34Speaker 1: the end could have been had you stuck it out.
- 3:39Speaker 1: You'll never know how good it could have gotten had
- 3:44Speaker 1: you not just weathered the storm. That's the thing that
- 3:50Speaker 1: gets most people. They get tough for them, It get
- 3:55Speaker 1: hard for them, and then they let doubts set in,
- 3:58Speaker 1: and then those doubts became facts and the next thing
- 4:02Speaker 1: you know, they give up. Had you not given up,
- 4:06Speaker 1: or had you given your best, what the results or
- 4:09Speaker 1: outcome could have been. I look back on my life
- 4:12Speaker 1: on so many occasions where in college I wasn't giving
- 4:17Speaker 1: my best. Now I flunked out. Now it's easy to
- 4:23Speaker 1: look at my life nine go yeah, but look at
- 4:26Speaker 1: you now. But back then, man, it cost me for
- 4:30Speaker 1: so many years that failing to finish that not giving
- 4:37Speaker 1: my all. It cost me a number of years. I
- 4:43Speaker 1: wish I could say that it didn't mean nothing, that
- 4:45Speaker 1: it was just a blimp on the radar skrein screen,
- 4:48Speaker 1: but at the time it was major. And so you
- 4:51Speaker 1: have a lot of decisions in your life that are
- 4:54Speaker 1: happening now. You may be in your twenties, your late teens,
- 4:57Speaker 1: you could be in your early thirties, and it's happening.
- 5:00Speaker 1: But guess what you'll eventually get through it provided one
- 5:05Speaker 1: thing you never give up. You never turn around and
- 5:10Speaker 1: go back. Had I written myself off because of one failure, see,
- 5:15Speaker 1: and this is where so many people go but go
- 5:17Speaker 1: wrong at two. You write yourself off after you failed
- 5:21Speaker 1: at something, the one thing you thought you wanted to accomplish,
- 5:26Speaker 1: and you failed at it. Now you write yourself as
- 5:28Speaker 1: a failure. Now you go settle on end to life
- 5:31Speaker 1: and just see what See what hand you get had
- 5:35Speaker 1: when I flunked out of college, had I written myself
- 5:39Speaker 1: off as a failure, I wouldn't be here today. When
- 5:42Speaker 1: I lost my carpet cleaning company, I would have written
- 5:45Speaker 1: myself as a failure. And I wouldn't be here today
- 5:49Speaker 1: when I didn't become a diamond distributed in Amway, or
- 5:53Speaker 1: a direct distributor in am Way, even I would have
- 5:56Speaker 1: written myself as a failure and I wouldn't be here
- 5:59Speaker 1: to day. When I bought a distribution kit to become
- 6:04Speaker 1: a distributor of the Bohemian Diet and I didn't make it,
- 6:10Speaker 1: I would have written myself as a failure. When I
- 6:13Speaker 1: became an Al William's distributor and I didn't make it,
- 6:16Speaker 1: I would have written myself as a failure, and I
- 6:18Speaker 1: wouldn't be here today. Oh, I got a list for you.
- 6:22Speaker 1: When I got laid off it for a motor company.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Had I written myself as a failure, I wouldn't have
- 6:28Speaker 1: made it. Do you need some more? Because I have
- 6:34Speaker 1: a story filled with mishaps. I have a story filled
- 6:40Speaker 1: with failures. A couple of things now, the grace of
- 6:45Speaker 1: God and his mercy which is available to us all.
- 6:49Speaker 1: See that's the key, y'all, Because of his mercy, because
- 6:53Speaker 1: of his willingness to forgive and to even understand why
- 7:00Speaker 1: we do the things we do. In all of my shortcomings,
- 7:06Speaker 1: failed marriages I'm talking about, man got it all wrong.
- 7:11Speaker 1: I can't blame nobody else. It's just me. Steve ain't
- 7:15Speaker 1: have it together at that point in life. I've could
- 7:19Speaker 1: have ridden myself as a failure the first time I could.
- 7:24Speaker 1: I just could have gave up on it after the
- 7:26Speaker 1: second one. And please know that this is an admission.
- 7:30Speaker 1: This ain't bragging. So before you start in with me,
- 7:33Speaker 1: understand what I'm saying. I'm pointing out in my life
- 7:38Speaker 1: a series of missteps and failures. But how I still
- 7:43Speaker 1: get here today A couple of things. God's grace and
- 7:49Speaker 1: mercy is first. But that's the key, that's for everybody
- 7:55Speaker 1: see if it's God's willingness to forgive you, and god
- 8:01Speaker 1: understanding of why we do what we do because he
- 8:04Speaker 1: said we wasn't gonna be perfect. So in all of
- 8:07Speaker 1: your imperfections, your creator told you you would not be perfect.
- 8:12Speaker 1: He's sad it to you. It's out there. I don't
- 8:15Speaker 1: care which one of the books you read it tells
- 8:18Speaker 1: you that. So guess what With that in mind, he
- 8:24Speaker 1: has a grace that he has. It's like a grace period.
- 8:28Speaker 1: It's like when you don't pay your insurance premium on
- 8:31Speaker 1: the day that is due. The next day, they don't
- 8:33Speaker 1: just cancel your insurance premium. They have a grace period,
- 8:38Speaker 1: because they ain't trying to stop this money from coming in.
- 8:42Speaker 1: But when it comes to God, there's no money required.
- 8:45Speaker 1: He just gives you the grace freely. It don't cost
- 8:49Speaker 1: you nothing. So you got tap into that, y'all. You
- 8:52Speaker 1: gotta get in touch with that, because that's an important
- 8:54Speaker 1: part to making it understanding that His grace is available.
- 8:58Speaker 1: So when you make a misstake, so when you fail
- 9:02Speaker 1: at it, he has a loophole in the contract with
- 9:06Speaker 1: him that allows you to make mistakes, that allows you
- 9:10Speaker 1: to get it wrong, that allows you to fail time
- 9:13Speaker 1: and time and time again. But if you never give up,
- 9:16Speaker 1: if you keep getting up, if you keep trying, if
- 9:20Speaker 1: you keep striving, if you keep making the effort to
- 9:24Speaker 1: go forward and not go back, God has a blessing
- 9:27Speaker 1: for you, and He has it in abundance for you,
- 9:31Speaker 1: and God will give it to you at the right time.
- 9:34Speaker 1: But you got to be ready. Oh, I want it
- 9:38Speaker 1: to be successful. But if He had given it to
- 9:41Speaker 1: me back then I wouldn't have handled it correctly because
- 9:45Speaker 1: I would have made some more mistakes along the way.
- 9:49Speaker 1: So you make the mistakes to learn the lessons. Lord.
- 9:53Speaker 1: They ain't God been good to me. I ain't gonna
- 9:56Speaker 1: lie to you. Cool you're listening show. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: Welcome to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Welcome to the
- 10:07Speaker 1: early part of twenty twenty two. It's a good year
- 10:12Speaker 1: for those of us that are still here. We are
- 10:14Speaker 1: blessed and highly favored. Don't ever forget that part of it.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Don't ever forget all that God has done. Don't let
- 10:23Speaker 1: that slip your mind. Don't get caught up into what
- 10:26Speaker 1: you're not, what you don't have, what you wish you had.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Don't get caught up in that without first realizing what
- 10:34Speaker 1: God has done. Man oh Man, oh Man. Gratitude is
- 10:40Speaker 1: a major principle of success. The more gratitude you practice,
- 10:45Speaker 1: the more successful you will become. Let the church say
- 10:49Speaker 1: many Man Man Man again. Shirley Strawberry, Colin Pharrell, Mississippi Monica,
- 10:56Speaker 1: the ladies on the show, Junior Kill Spates and the
- 11:00Speaker 1: legend Nephew Tommy, what you got? Uh? Let me let
- 11:04Speaker 1: me ask yourself. And I know you're trying to season five,
- 11:08Speaker 1: but you know I recently did something. I just want
- 11:11Speaker 1: to just get some background right here. How many how
- 11:14Speaker 1: many of what the hell was you thinking? Moments you
- 11:16Speaker 1: didn't had it? Sixty five? How many? How many? I
- 11:19Speaker 1: just I probably had my eighth one? Hey, you just
- 11:25Speaker 1: had your eighth? What the hell am I doing? Moment?
- 11:28Speaker 1: Just getting started? I had eight of them when I
- 11:34Speaker 1: was nine every year now the way I grew up,
- 11:43Speaker 1: I had eight a month. Trying to figure out how
- 11:47Speaker 1: you just had your eighth one? Like, I've been married
- 11:51Speaker 1: two times, divorce two times. Do you know in between? Now?
- 11:58Speaker 1: How many what the hell moments I didn't have? I
- 12:03Speaker 1: got seven kids? All that was what to him? Seven? Yeah,
- 12:12Speaker 1: but I'm talking about marriage that ended badly for two
- 12:16Speaker 1: For two times, I was at Antonio Brown of marriage.
- 12:22Speaker 1: It was going end bad. I didn't know how to
- 12:26Speaker 1: have a happy end. You took your pants off, man,
- 12:30Speaker 1: I took my pants off the way back and get
- 12:34Speaker 1: jumping Jackson the end zone. I did everything, man, And
- 12:44Speaker 1: then you asked me how many what the hell moments
- 12:46Speaker 1: I didn't I'm trying to count the moss that went
- 12:51Speaker 1: by that I didn't have one. I might have had eight.
- 12:54Speaker 1: It in man to y'all made so many mistakes. Man,
- 13:03Speaker 1: I'm a living witness that you can take your life
- 13:08Speaker 1: jacket completely up. God Almighty will forgive you and give
- 13:14Speaker 1: you a chance to rebuild it, start all over again,
- 13:17Speaker 1: and turn you into more than you ever dream though.
- 13:20Speaker 1: That's what I'm a living witness, man. I appreciated. Man,
- 13:24Speaker 1: the failures I have had have been monumental, Sir, I've
- 13:32Speaker 1: had some life changing moments. I'm so stupid. All right,
- 13:37Speaker 1: thank you. Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:39Speaker 1: we'll do the nephew and run that prank back right
- 13:42Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 13:47Speaker 1: All right, it is time for the nephew to run
- 13:49Speaker 1: that prank back. What you got for is nef This
- 13:52Speaker 1: right here goes out to all of members of five
- 13:55Speaker 1: Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated. Title of this is you ain't
- 14:01Speaker 1: no Sigma. You ain't no Sigma. Let's go cat down. Hello. Oh,
- 14:08Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a greg please. Yeah, this is he?
- 14:11Speaker 1: How you doing? My name is Bernard, five Beta Sigma.
- 14:14Speaker 1: I'm over pledged relations uhhh giving you a call to day. Man.
- 14:20Speaker 1: You attended priv a m University? Am I correct? Yeah?
- 14:24Speaker 1: Am I right? You attended Privy and from my understanding,
- 14:29Speaker 1: you pledge five Beta Sigma and fall of ninety one.
- 14:33Speaker 1: That's correct, all right, that's the the Theta chapter, correct, Yes,
- 14:37Speaker 1: all right. Here's where we're having some problems here, going
- 14:40Speaker 1: through the records, records, actually looking at the records that
- 14:44Speaker 1: we have here at headquarters, you're not actually an official
- 14:47Speaker 1: member of five Beta Sigma. I don't know what has
- 14:50Speaker 1: taken place. But wait a minute, what what you mean
- 14:54Speaker 1: not a member? Looking at our records here at national headquarters,
- 14:57Speaker 1: it's indicating that you're not an official member of five
- 15:01Speaker 1: Data Sigma. I don't know what could have gone wrong
- 15:04Speaker 1: with this? Now, Now that ain't right, man, That ain't right,
- 15:06Speaker 1: because see, depth of data is recognized nationally, so why
- 15:10Speaker 1: wouldn't I be nationally recognized? I'm not certain, sir. Maybe
- 15:13Speaker 1: it's something that took place on that that actual line
- 15:16Speaker 1: of Fall ninety one. We're actually going to have to
- 15:19Speaker 1: do some research on everything that's going on with your
- 15:21Speaker 1: line as well as the chapter. But how is that possible?
- 15:24Speaker 1: If they gave if they gave me a certifticate in
- 15:26Speaker 1: the in the plaque and I got my pen I
- 15:29Speaker 1: mean I'm a Sigma what you mean, sir? I don't
- 15:31Speaker 1: know what I'm looking at here? And and and please understand.
- 15:35Speaker 1: I want to try to clear this matter up. Yeah, yeah,
- 15:37Speaker 1: we need to clear this matter. Who else is there
- 15:39Speaker 1: somebody there like a oversee, uh maybe the head president
- 15:44Speaker 1: or your branch or something that I can talk to
- 15:46Speaker 1: or something. Well, I'm actually I am actually over pledged
- 15:48Speaker 1: relations and I wanted to give you a call personally
- 15:52Speaker 1: so we can try to rectify the matter. And it's
- 15:54Speaker 1: going to take us some time to hiring this thing out.
- 15:56Speaker 1: But what I need you to do as at this point. Yeah,
- 15:59Speaker 1: And you know what the problem is that I'm noticing
- 16:01Speaker 1: is that all of the people that were on your
- 16:03Speaker 1: line they are official for some reason. Mister Gregg is
- 16:07Speaker 1: an official, So I want to I don't understand that
- 16:10Speaker 1: because I was the line president. So how is everybody
- 16:15Speaker 1: else able to be a sigma and not me when
- 16:17Speaker 1: I did all the paperwork that it takes to for
- 16:20Speaker 1: the process to be right. I don't understand, sir. You
- 16:23Speaker 1: know what, brother, I can't call you brother for the
- 16:25Speaker 1: fact that right now, brother, because I'm a signa. So
- 16:29Speaker 1: here's what we're gonna have to do. Greg. We're gonna
- 16:31Speaker 1: have to get you to first of all, if you're
- 16:33Speaker 1: dealing with anybody alumni wise, we're asking that you don't
- 16:37Speaker 1: go to any meetings right now. We're also asking that
- 16:40Speaker 1: you don't wear any five beta Sigma peral for now.
- 16:44Speaker 1: At this point, we want to make sure and get
- 16:46Speaker 1: clarity that you are definitely a brother. Amn, man, I
- 16:49Speaker 1: am definitely a brother. Do you know what I had
- 16:51Speaker 1: to go through to get where I am today? To
- 16:54Speaker 1: be a signal? And y'all took y'all dudes whatever to that.
- 16:57Speaker 1: That's the thing. I'm seeing checks that have gone through
- 17:00Speaker 1: for other people on that line. I don't play, man,
- 17:02Speaker 1: and to this day, I'm like a lifetime member. So
- 17:05Speaker 1: what the hell are you talking about? I have no
- 17:07Speaker 1: records indicating that your lifetime member. That's what I'm saying, sir.
- 17:09Speaker 1: We got bad dog. Somebody needs to tell me something today.
- 17:14Speaker 1: We're gonna try to get to the end of this
- 17:15Speaker 1: by the end of the week. It's gonna take no, no,
- 17:17Speaker 1: but no, but no, you're not understanding what I'm saying, man,
- 17:20Speaker 1: because I'm a signal to the heart. Dude. You know
- 17:22Speaker 1: what I'm talking about. Y'all playing with my heart right now? Man,
- 17:25Speaker 1: Ain't nobody's gonna do that and get away with I
- 17:27Speaker 1: don't know what's going on. You know, here's what we
- 17:29Speaker 1: can do. We can bring you back in and do
- 17:31Speaker 1: another pledging process. Pledge. Did you understand what you just
- 17:35Speaker 1: said to me? No? Man, that ain't happen. Dog, I've
- 17:38Speaker 1: been through this already. Man, I'm not pledging. I'm not
- 17:41Speaker 1: signing my name on nothing else because I have pledged.
- 17:44Speaker 1: I'm not doing it. I need to get somebody on
- 17:47Speaker 1: the phone that can answer my question. I want to
- 17:49Speaker 1: know what's going on, okay right now? And I understand
- 17:52Speaker 1: you know, the disbelief of what's going on. I really
- 17:54Speaker 1: do you honestly? What year did you grow across? Did
- 17:58Speaker 1: you walk the sand? Let me tell me what's going on? Brother.
- 18:01Speaker 1: I'm fall eighty nine. Brother. And now what we're gonna
- 18:04Speaker 1: have to do right now is, first of all, no
- 18:07Speaker 1: pair of phernilia. No, you're trying to tell me that
- 18:10Speaker 1: I can't well what's nearest and dearest to my heart,
- 18:13Speaker 1: next to my wife and my child. You're telling me
- 18:15Speaker 1: that I can't grow around and proclaim what I am.
- 18:18Speaker 1: That's like telling me I can't be black. What the
- 18:20Speaker 1: hell is you're saying? And another thing we're going to
- 18:22Speaker 1: get you to do understand you have a brand, a
- 18:24Speaker 1: Sigma brand that's going to have to come off until
- 18:27Speaker 1: we get this taken care of. What and then you
- 18:29Speaker 1: talk about them medical procedure. What are you saying so
- 18:33Speaker 1: we cannot allow you to wear a brand representing five
- 18:36Speaker 1: Beta signal when right now you are not only you
- 18:38Speaker 1: can't five pain a lot that that brand to me
- 18:41Speaker 1: was allowed to put the brand on me. Now I
- 18:43Speaker 1: can't be allowed to wear something that I've been wearing
- 18:46Speaker 1: for almost fifteen years? Are you crazy? Come on, man,
- 18:49Speaker 1: that's some crazy. So we gotta get you to take
- 18:51Speaker 1: your brand of me until all of this way? What
- 18:54Speaker 1: the hell of out? Man? This is the look here? Brother?
- 18:58Speaker 1: But what Bernard? Is that? What your name? You need
- 19:01Speaker 1: to get somebody on this h That's all right, I
- 19:04Speaker 1: know the president bill, how about that. I will just
- 19:07Speaker 1: call in and I'll figured out my bill. Right now,
- 19:11Speaker 1: we need you to take the brand off off you
- 19:15Speaker 1: come take the brand off of me, and you want
- 19:17Speaker 1: it that bad, come get it. That's what you do.
- 19:20Speaker 1: You are not a member of five Beta Sick. I'm
- 19:22Speaker 1: donna give up you talking about dog I am a member.
- 19:26Speaker 1: If you want something over here, high Land, your boy
- 19:28Speaker 1: that's what you do. You bad, come do it. So
- 19:31Speaker 1: I'm telling you for the final time, do not wear
- 19:34Speaker 1: any paraphern Now you keep don't want to hear that
- 19:37Speaker 1: talking about no final. Let me tell you what's final.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I am a five beta sigma to the hard damn sir.
- 19:45Speaker 1: All I'm telling you is no more church and cover
- 19:48Speaker 1: that brand up until we're here. Man, I'm gonna wear everything.
- 19:51Speaker 1: I got a hat. I'm gonnat. A matter of fact,
- 19:54Speaker 1: I'm gonna wearing hey, just to get it on yong ls.
- 19:57Speaker 1: You're gonna keep brand covering up until we figured out
- 20:00Speaker 1: if you are this nor had coming up, you come
- 20:03Speaker 1: get it and tell it. You better get away from me.
- 20:06Speaker 1: So I'm talking about put that brand up and don't
- 20:10Speaker 1: shots no money. Tell you something I ain't coming. Come
- 20:14Speaker 1: get it if you want it. I got one head.
- 20:17Speaker 1: This is bruefire. You don't want none. You don't want none.
- 20:20Speaker 1: This is the man. I don't know what one more
- 20:23Speaker 1: thing I need to say to you. Are you going
- 20:25Speaker 1: to say what you got to say? You ain't getting this.
- 20:27Speaker 1: This is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 20:31Speaker 1: You just got pranked by your boy boy. Y'all had
- 20:36Speaker 1: me ready to kill my man. Y'all boy, let out
- 20:40Speaker 1: one more thing, man, what is the baddest radio show
- 20:43Speaker 1: in the land? Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, thank you, nephew.

- 49:53Speaker 1: I love the violence level that people get to on
- 49:55Speaker 1: these pro phone calls. Tell me take them there. It's
- 49:58Speaker 1: just a cultural thing, man, When you push people who
- 50:03Speaker 1: come up a certain way, it just it ain't nowhere

- 50:09Speaker 1: want me to do. I ain't got nothing else, so
- 50:11Speaker 1: you know we all got that. But I don't have
- 50:13Speaker 1: your socks. I don't hear your T shirt you bought

- 54:11Speaker 1: it four you here at ease. The Strawberry Letter subject
- 54:14Speaker 1: Polite in the streets, Rude in the sheets. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 54:19Speaker 1: I'm a fifty two year old newly wed and I
- 54:22Speaker 1: married a pastor whose wife died five years ago. Long
- 54:26Speaker 1: story short. I started attending his church around five years ago,
- 54:30Speaker 1: and he was very polite and welcoming, but I had
- 54:33Speaker 1: no idea he was interested in me. When his wife died,
- 54:36Speaker 1: I attended the memorial service and he gave me a
- 54:39Speaker 1: lingering hug in the back of the church. I sent
- 54:42Speaker 1: a card to the church and he said a thank
- 54:44Speaker 1: you note and said he loved seeing me during the
- 54:46Speaker 1: eleven a m. Service. I mostly attended the eight am service,
- 54:51Speaker 1: but since he said that, I started going to the
- 54:53Speaker 1: eleven am service. He politely greeted me every Sunday and
- 54:57Speaker 1: thanked me for coming. I still no idea he was
- 55:01Speaker 1: interested in me. Then out of the blue, he asked
- 55:04Speaker 1: me to talk to him in his office one Sunday.
- 55:07Speaker 1: He was very frank about what he wanted and how
- 55:11Speaker 1: he wanted it. I was shocked to hear a very
- 55:13Speaker 1: polite man of God talking like that, but I was
- 55:18Speaker 1: aroused because I secretly had a crush on him. He
- 55:23Speaker 1: told me he was lonely and needed a woman in
- 55:25Speaker 1: his bed. He asked if I was interested in dating him,
- 55:29Speaker 1: and he made it clear that he wanted to get
- 55:32Speaker 1: married so he could have sex as soon as possible.
- 55:36Speaker 1: My heart fluttered and I got caught up in the
- 55:38Speaker 1: idea of getting married. Close to a year later, we
- 55:42Speaker 1: got married, and on our wedding night we were intimate
- 55:46Speaker 1: for the first time, and he said the most vile
- 55:49Speaker 1: and offensive things to me from the time I started
- 55:52Speaker 1: taking my clothes off till the bitter end. His language
- 55:56Speaker 1: sounded like a porn video. I thought it was because
- 55:59Speaker 1: he hadn't been with a woman in a while, But
- 56:02Speaker 1: that's just how he is. He's not the polite old
- 56:05Speaker 1: man that his church thinks he is. Is it something
- 56:09Speaker 1: that a marriage counseling will fix or should I get
- 56:11Speaker 1: the marriage annulled before he gets worse? Well, this is
- 56:20Speaker 1: a problem for you because you say you're offended and uncomfortable.
- 56:25Speaker 1: Well that shouldn't be and it's never good in any marriage.
- 56:29Speaker 1: But many, many people are, of course one way in public,
- 56:33Speaker 1: and then they get behind closed doors in the bedroom,
- 56:35Speaker 1: and you know, they get wild their wild side shows.
- 56:38Speaker 1: People do what turns them on behind closed doors. But
- 56:42Speaker 1: what I'm trying to figure out with you is if
- 56:46Speaker 1: you're shocked at the fact that your husband is a
- 56:48Speaker 1: pastor and he's talking like this, or you just don't
- 56:52Speaker 1: like the dirty talk in the bedroom period, Because at
- 56:54Speaker 1: first you said, you know you were flattered, or you
- 57:01Speaker 1: know you had a crush on him too, you were aroused.
- 57:04Speaker 1: You got to remember that pastors are human too. They
- 57:09Speaker 1: are men, and that's what he is in the bedroom
- 57:11Speaker 1: with his wife. He's not your pastor there. But he's
- 57:14Speaker 1: a man. Okay, he's a human. He's imperfect, he's in flawed,
- 57:17Speaker 1: he's flawed, he's all that. And you did say, like
- 57:21Speaker 1: I said, that he was. You were aroused when he
- 57:23Speaker 1: brought you in his office. That was when you should
- 57:26Speaker 1: have asked him questions about what he meant by that
- 57:29Speaker 1: and what did he expect. But you said you got
- 57:32Speaker 1: caught up in the idea of marriage. You still didn't
- 57:36Speaker 1: get married for almost a year. You have plenty of
- 57:39Speaker 1: time to talk to him between your office visit and
- 57:41Speaker 1: the wedding. That was almost a year, like you said,
- 57:43Speaker 1: and you still haven't talked to him about it. You
- 57:45Speaker 1: still haven't talked to him. You wrote us instead. You
- 57:48Speaker 1: asked about counseling, which I always think is a good idea,
- 57:50Speaker 1: especially before you decide to end your marriage completely. And
- 57:54Speaker 1: you know, maybe pastor nast it can tone it down
- 57:57Speaker 1: for you if he knows how it makes you feel
- 57:59Speaker 1: you just got to talk to him about it. Steve,
- 58:02Speaker 1: yah'na work. Nothing you said gonna work here. Nothing you
- 58:07Speaker 1: said it's gonna work. Well, this is a different kind
- 58:10Speaker 1: of issue here. This is not for counseling. I disagree
- 58:14Speaker 1: with that, but go ahead, No he running. Wait a minute,
- 58:17Speaker 1: what are they gonna say in counselor that he's gonna
- 58:22Speaker 1: be willing to say out loud because passing nasty? I
- 58:27Speaker 1: said that. Now this is troubled, but it's really not
- 58:34Speaker 1: troubled though. See it's trouble, but it ain't. You fitted
- 58:38Speaker 1: to You din't heard all this before. You just have
- 58:42Speaker 1: never heard it directed And but you've heard all this before. No,
- 58:47Speaker 1: no new words. There's some new ways to phrase it.
- 58:52Speaker 1: And I think I have a way to help to
- 58:53Speaker 1: pass the out because so it de passed and got
- 58:57Speaker 1: his wife that died five years ago. You just happen
- 59:00Speaker 1: to start going to the church five years ago. He
- 59:03Speaker 1: was polite and welcoming men, and you didn't know he
- 59:06Speaker 1: was interested in you. When his wife died, you went
- 59:09Speaker 1: to the Mamal service. He gave me a lingering hug
- 59:12Speaker 1: in the back of the church. Acted damn Mamal service.
- 59:16Speaker 1: This ain't the time to start pushing up on nobody, pastor.
- 59:20Speaker 1: But that's how you took it through. I sent a
- 59:24Speaker 1: card to the church and thank and a thank you note,
- 59:27Speaker 1: And well, why did you send the card to the
- 59:31Speaker 1: church and a thank you though? For what? Where was
- 59:34Speaker 1: you thanking him for the lingering hub sympathy card for
- 59:37Speaker 1: his wife? His wife's sat I sent a card to
- 59:44Speaker 1: the church and he send a thank you though. Okay,
- 59:48Speaker 1: so lady, okay, anyway, I ain't got nothing to do
- 59:51Speaker 1: with that, don't worry about that. Anyway, you sent the card,
- 59:55Speaker 1: and he said he loves seeing me doing eleven o'clock service.
- 59:59Speaker 1: I mostly at ten to eight o'clock service. But since
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: he said that, I started going to the eleven o'clock
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: you didn't see the little subliminal gangster move he put
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: in there. I need you to start coming to the
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: eleven o'clock because after that I can help you over
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: to the office and i'll let you. But if you
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: come to the eight o'clock, it's too close to the
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: eleven o'clock and too many people up in there, and
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: I ain't gonna damn ain't you. So I need to
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: subliminently suggest that you come to the eleven o'clock and
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: you fail for it. Oh well, at part two of
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Steve's response, coming up with twenty three minutes after the hour,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: today's strawberry letters subject polite in the streets, rude and
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: the sheets. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letters, subject polite in the streets,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: rude in the sheets. Well, let's just get to what
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: the letters about. It really ain't about how they met. Now,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: she didn't marry this pass to whose wife died. And
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: now the problem is, well, she went into the past
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: his office one day and he was very frank about
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: what he wanted and high he wanted it. I was
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: shocked to hear a polite man of God talking like that,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: but I was aroused to see right there. It worked.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: It worked. You were shocked, but you were aroused. It
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: worked because you had secretly had a crush on it.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: He told you he was lonely and needed a woman
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: in his bed. He asked me if I was interested
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: in dating him, and he made it clearly he wanted
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: to get married, so he could have sex as soon
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: as possible. My heart flooding. Oh, I got caught up
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: in the idea of getting mad. Close to a year
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: later we got mad, and on our wed night we
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: were intimate for the first time, he said the most
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: vile and offensive things to me, from the time I
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: started taking my clothes off all the way to the
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: bitter end. The language sounded like a Part one video.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: I thought it's because he hadn't been with a woman
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: in a while, But that's just how he is. He
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: ain't polite old man. He is at the church, thank you.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: Is this something that marriage counseling will fix? Or should
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: I get the marriage annall before it gets worth? So?
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: What I would suggest to the past you want to
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: talk viole to a woman, you have to start using
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: different turners. You could accomplish this without CUsing and without
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: making actual Vogel remarks. I have a few things that
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: I would suggest the past to start saying, and it'll
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: come across and it will get the pastor where he
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: need to be, but without but with only using regular
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: words and animals animals. What you need to use words
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: and animals and you can get all his not animals sounds. No,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: you can be you can be vibe. But when you
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: sprank my monkey. So you got to do stuff like
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: that where you can say vile and nasty stuff. But
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: it don't if you just read it and all it
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: says is spank. The next word is my and the
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: word is monkey. But needing those words by itself are nasty.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: But when you put them all together and you use
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: the right tone, oh, sprank my monkey. When you say
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: it like that, past, you get to accomplish what you want.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Get on this gorilla. See right there, you saying stuff
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: that can spake it another way. This gorilla you don't
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: know what is talking about, but it'll accomplished what he wants.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: You know what. I'm like, you better be my will
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: the beast. You gotta say stuff like that. You gotta
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: just get it out, you know. Let me quack quack
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: on that duck. Yeah, you know, I just got ways
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: that you can give it to another. Let me milk
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: your skittles. You don't throw a candy in every nine.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: Then they don't always have to be stuff like that.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: You know what I'm Oh, you you my black monk,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: and mama you know something, Yeah, you my black fucking man.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: You know you're being mild, but you're not really You're
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: keeping it as a Christian. You know, I'm gonna crack
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: that cricket. You know, you don't really what you're just
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: saying stuff that dude like that. I'm gonna chase that cheetah. Now, okay,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: get on downna chase the cheating. Then, don't nobody got
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: to know what you're talking about. You know, you're laid
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: down on my lion right now. Yeah, come out, laid
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: down on my lion. That's the hangar the jump. Yeah. See,
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: you're able to talk vioud to this woman when and
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: then you could throw in like scriptures you are passing,
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: you know, lazare of Dad, but I ain't, you know, yeah,
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: what all a little script just say Lazarus died. You know,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: that's all the drink, some of this jungle juice, you know,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: jungle juice they had that you should say that after
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: a seventy eleven jungle juice, you know. And those are
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: the things that he could say to her and still
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: be violent, maybe keep his marriage together. So if I
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: was a counselor, that's what I would recommend, because he
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: likes talking dirty and you just have to use clean
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: words that insinuate dirty thoughts. And I'm very proud of
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: that because I don't think he's gonna be able to
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: go back and calling this woman the names he been
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: calling her because she talking about right now, Because I
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: can tell you right now, pastor talking so crazy to
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: this hell crame pastor talking so crazy to this woman.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: I just don't want in him. Give me just wanting. Yeah,
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: go ahead, and I'm gonna tell us stripes of physic
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: saying you gotta get it like that. You look animal.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: That's how it is right there. You know this draft,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: why don't you get on? Why don't you get on
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: some of this crop? Could do you just take your
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: time and say it passed? Yeah, you know I'm saying,
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: you know, just kind of put it out there like that.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Keep it all animal, you know what I'm saying. Like that, Well, listen,
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: nowhere to go from here. I'm fitting to run up
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: on you like a herd. Yeah, you can leave it
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: heard today, you're gonna think it's a lot of strawberry
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: letter on Instagram. Hay at them. Check out the strawberry
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: letter plant man. Coming up next, Sport to Talk Junior

- 1:09:10Speaker 1: So oh he ain't he mag hein win this shit?
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: Kurt Smart. Congratulations, brother, I appreciate it. I'm glad I
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: live in George problem all right, George? Yeah, George, I'm
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: about that g on their chest for me. Yesterday Georgia
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Bulldogs got the same logo as my high school had
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: at Glenville. That's the same g yo yo. Yeah, and
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: they got a few frat brothers on the team on
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: the saw him throw their hooks up at a couple
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: of plays. Was you proud of Hell? Yeah, that's why
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: I'm pulling for Jalen Hurt. Here frat brother, I'm pulling

- 1:09:48Speaker 1: the Eagles in the playoffs. Oh they they played first.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: We're gonna find out. I'm about to find out, man.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: But then the end though, come, thank you you. I'm
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: sure coming up at the top of the hour, here's
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: a question you guys think about this. How attractive do
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: you think you really are? We'll get into it right
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: So here's a question for you guys. How attractive or
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: handsome are you really a new survey from super drug
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Online Doctor found on average, men rate themselves a five
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: point nine on an overall attractiveness scale of one to ten. Okay,
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: only forty two percent of men are happy with their looks.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: Some other interesting findings of the survey are this, men think.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: The men think the ideal height is six feet and
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: the perfect weight is around one hundred and sixty eight
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: pounds one hundred sixty eight. What you went to wait,
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: Tommy went to Okay, ain't none of this right a minute?
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Six feet, one hundred and sixty eight pounds, That sin
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: ginny is all get out. That's the perfect one. If
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: I don't want to win on one sixty eight? Okay,
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: And that's that's that's hungry, That's what that is. Do
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: you know if I waited one hundred and sixty eight pounds?
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: What how's all are you to see? Sixty two? One
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: sixty eight? Ain't I actually try to whip your air?
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: One sixty eight? I went to actually try, and you
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: probably could. I have to run, week, I have to run.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: But but let's get out of this this number out
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: of like I would on a scale of one to ten,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: I think I'm really a boy like a six or
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: six point two. Okay, you're writing that average? You know, junior?
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: What about you on a scale? I just want to
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: thank the study for the point nine because I was
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: a fast. Oh okay, what's on the scale of one
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: to ten where most men find themselves? The average man
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: says five point nine? Yeah, so six sixteen. I'm six
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: two all the way around six two in hyfe six
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: two in looks on the scale of one to ten. Okay,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: what about your junior? I'm I thought I'll just bout
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: a five, you know, but they gave me point land,
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: just the average. I'll take they gave you. You don't
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: have to take that point nine. All right, on back
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: to that side where you hear me. All right, let's
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: get to it. Let's get to the nephew scale of
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: one to ten. How do you rate yourself? Nine point eight? Who?
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Shoo the hell Jesus you got all the lookliness out
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: the way shy, I'm nine point and you've got to
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: be kidding me. I ain't the last I know who
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: I am, and it ain't a nine point you're confident.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: I'm comfortable with me. I have nine point eight. Yeah,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: we're time. You probably bout like a two. I ain't
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: no two boy, okay, Sherlett Carl. Where where I'm at?
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: Not nine point eight nine? Yea with the other guys,
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: I think with him, these two people that think they ugly,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: No they no, no, no, no, we're not thinking. I
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: think really our number is our height. I'm five teen,
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: so five ten five four, I'm not. I'm not four.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: Be honest, honest, you're looking at right now what you're
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: looking at. And I'm just gonna do this because he's
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: my nephew, we family. I'm getting the curage of him,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: the whole package. Will he lose something in height because
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: the average man think ideal height is six, so he
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: loses two inches off that. So he gotta be on
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: the five on scale of one to ten. In terms,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: it looks he about a six six too. I'm talking
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: about I'm talking about a hard six. I'm talking about
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: creeping in. I'm talking about like if somebody said five eight,
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: that would be a debate. Steve of the men say
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: that I'm having great abs makes them attractive, and having
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: a great butt makes them attract Well, most men don't
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: have abs, so let's start there. But I got I
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: got a but Tommy, Tommy got plenty of ass. It's
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: high time is up. We'll be back with more of
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show with twenty minutes after. Right
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: after this, you're listening the Steve Harvey Morning Show. The
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: US MENT has started shipping quarters featuring the likes of
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: several trailblazing women as a part of the American Women
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Quarters program, and poet and civil rights activist Maya Angelou
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: will be the first black woman to ever grace the coin.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: The Angelu coin is one of five new quarter designs
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: that will run from twenty twenty two through twenty twenty five.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: George Washington's likeness will remain on the other side of
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: the quarter, and the US MEANT confirmed that they have
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: already begun shipping the Maya Angelou coins, so be on
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: the lookout for them. That's great news, that's awesome. Like that.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: I don't want the George Washington quarters. I want the money,
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: so I don't want this. I know why some several
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: of those quarters exactly collect design design him three years
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: to collect them. He got to be on the other
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: side of the quarter. Black people can't have even a quarter.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: It's crazy. What's you say junior. No, forget that. Why
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: here he got to be on the other side. Black
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: people can have their separate quarters. What's on the backside? No, no, no,
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: it's gonna be Maya Angelou on one side and then
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: flip it over and it's still George Washington on the
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: other side. I'm sorry. Yeah, we can't even have a
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: quarter hair the tales White man, black woman? Which one?
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: You won't have? The tale? Gonna take a beautiful story.
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: You know they're gonna flip the coin, sir, sound crazy.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We're
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: gonna play a round of would you rather have? Thirty
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: three minutes after right after this, you're listening to the
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, it is time
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: to play another round of would you rather? Would you
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: rather spend a day in the mall with your lady,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: your wife, your significant other, whoever, or spend a day
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: at the dentist? Give me this dream? Hey, hey, hey,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: I'm kind of easy that. Would you rather spend a
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: day at the mall with your wife? Or would you
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: rather spend a day at the dentist? I don't know
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: about that. Most people don't like to go to the dentist.
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: That's that's. I know. Most people don't like the most
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: men don't like to go to them. But Steve said,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: the mall. I'm going to the mall. So happened. I'm
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: going to the mall. The mall has gotten better though,
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: for shells and benches for me and to sit on
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: while they women doing stuff. They got better with that,
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: so it's a more comfortable sitting. Okay, okay, go ahead,
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: I'm going. I'm going to the dentist. Give me the
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: drill because I'm in the mall with her ass. I'm
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: in the store sniffing candles. I don't even care about.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: I mean, hey, I don't know what is Zara. I
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: ain't never been in here? What am I doing? Oh
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: you ain't. I don't know none but that I'm none
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: of that Zara. So fa know, I'm like, I'm pleading
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: that you just turn your chair around you that over
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: the should ain't gonna work. I'm trying to do so.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: You was on your radio show this morning and you said, what,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: all right, would you rather would you rather get male
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: enhancement surgery or would you rather get surgery on your ab?
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: Like light bow on your app I'd rather get the
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: surgery on my abs if I do any more. Whereas
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: I'm I'm on this, I'm I'm, I'm, I'm blessed in
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: highly face already in double extraws. Where where are we
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: going with this? Is no way? But I asked right,
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: I'm putting nothing else down here. Already can't use that
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: little slot that they put on draws. I already can't
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: use that. Really, really gonna give me these alms? I
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: ain't seen it in a while, all right, Tommy Junior,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: I want alms. I'm blessed, I'm blessed. I'm good. I
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: don't think you guys would say anything else other than that.
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: All right, it's all relative. What do you mean both
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: of them is shorter than me? But what you sa
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: I said, both of them is shorter than me. I
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: don't mean. Ain't nobody more blessed than you? Though, it's
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: all the perspective. Y'all know what I'm talking about. Let's go, people,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Let's stop this hill. You know you got I'm standing
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: over here, and you got g I Joe standing over there.

- 1:20:53Speaker 1: Oh Jesus, you're gonna be all right? Can we watched
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: last night? You know? Another one of my favorite parts
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: last night was when you hit the gabble and you
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: object it to yourself. You're saying, I got stop putting
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: my personal business show. I said, he object to himself.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: It's a great show. And Steve, you come off that
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: bench a lot too. Well, you know, I don't. I'm
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: not gonna just sit here, you know, because I'm not
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: really like I did Jimmy Kimmel last night and he says,
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: you're a judge, how come you don't warr a robe?
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: And I'm said, Monday night, Jimmy Kimmel, Yeah, Monday Night,
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: did Jimmy Kimmel. He said, Oh it's up, Steve. You're
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: a judge. How come you don't worry robe? I said,
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: everybody know, I ain't no damn jim like fort here
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: playing this dog? What is this game about? Like hide
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: and seek? But I'm sitting here you already And that
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: was your idea to wear the robe? Yeah, because I
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: mean actually I thought it would be a disservice, disrespect
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: to the other judges who really and then I ain't
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: want to you know. Plus I wanted to wear colored robes.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: You know, I ain't up that looking like I'll be
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: over there looking like I'm in the car like I'm
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: one of the Gospel travel els or he's gonna work
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: it out. He's gonna work it out. Then I'm gonna
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: want some bars on my robe, you know, like I'm
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: the bishop or either got a pH d ain't gonna
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: be a regular robe. Okay, I got you. But it's
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: a it's a fun show, entertaining to watch, especially at night.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: I love it. At night right time. It's really really
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: good man. Thank you all for your support. Hey, listen, y'all,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: keep the faith this year. Um. Faith is a belief
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: in things that you cannot see. Um. Faith this paramount
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: on your road to success. And I don't think you
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: can talk about faith enough because faith has to be
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: at the core essence of everything you do. I was
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: watching Denzel Washington's speech that he was given out a
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: commencement of some college. And you know, you're very rarely
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: hear Denzel talking, but he said something. He said, put
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: God first in everything you do. And this is Denzel
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: Washington talking, not the actor. This is Denzel Washington talking.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: And he said that, you know, and I never get
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: to hear Dan talk, you know, publicly like that. But
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: it really struck a chord with me because it reminded
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: me of how many people I know that are successful,
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: who are people who have a relationship with God. And
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: if you don't have a relationship with God, you have
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: got to look in to this. You've got to start one, y'all.
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: It's imperative. It look having faith in a relationship with
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: God doesn't make it easy, it just makes it doable.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: And all you want to do is to have the
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: ability to do the deed, to finish the task, to
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: reach the goal, to accomplish the mission. That's what you want.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: A relationship with God has to be at the forefront
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: of that, because I don't care what you're practicing. If
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: you don't have a relationship with God, you will surely
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: need him because something one of the tests, one of
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: the challenges, one of the setbacks, is going to require
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: God and only God. That's a fact. That's a fact.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: And there's something on the inside of you that's beckoning
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: and calling you that says to you, Hey, man, I
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: want a relationship with my creator. You have to develop that.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: It's not hard. You know, that thing inside of you
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: that keeps nagging at you, that thing you call a
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: conscious that's your soul, the human soul first for a
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: relationship with his creator. It just does. And if you
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: say you don't have it, you simply allow the devil
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: to fool you into thinking that that's not necessary. And
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: you've allowed the devil to rob you of your destiny.
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: That's all it is to it. So if you don't
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: believe what I'm saying, I really don't care. But for
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: those of you who are looking for something. God is
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: the answer. He is the answer. He can get you
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: through every challenge, testing situation you'll ever get it. That's
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: nothing too hard for God. If it was not for
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: my faith, I'm telling you flat out, I'm not where
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: I am today. I just I just wouldn't have made it.
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: I would not have survived everything I'll survived. And I
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: have news for you, either with you or whether you
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: actively are pursuing a relationship with God. Our God is
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: just holding you and protecting you and giving you his
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: unmerited grace and favor simply because he knows you don't
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: know no better. And he got his arms around you,
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: and he's carrying you until you pull it together. He's
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: waiting to have a relationship with you. Get that. In
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: twenty twenty two, those are my clothes on remarks. I
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: hope it reached somebody today. Stop talking to people who
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: say they don't believe in God. Walk away for the
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: best they do it. Thanks have a great thing for all.
