- 2:17Speaker 2: to me. Wow. And and you know why I say
- 2:23Speaker 2: it like that.
- 2:24Speaker 6: What makes it amazing is because it's been in spite
- 2:26Speaker 6: of myself.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I mean you know what I mean by that. I
- 2:31Speaker 2: mean I mean that he's been good to me.
- 2:35Speaker 6: In spite of all the craziness I've done, all the
- 2:39Speaker 6: foolishness I've gotten myself involved with, and not only got
- 2:43Speaker 6: but knowingly got myself involved with all of the stupid
- 2:49Speaker 6: decisions I've made. Put all that to the side, and
- 2:55Speaker 6: he's still been good to me. Bring it all and
- 2:57Speaker 6: put it on the plate and he's still good to me.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Man.
- 3:01Speaker 6: That's amazing man. And I'm sure there's a lot of
- 3:03Speaker 6: people that can say the exact same thing. I mean,
- 3:06Speaker 6: come on, man, I got you, ain't famous, I got a'tybody,
- 3:10Speaker 6: got no microphone in your face. I got nobody, ain't
- 3:12Speaker 6: got no spotlight on you. I got nobody, ain't got
- 3:15Speaker 6: no camera in your face. I got nobody. Probably ain't
- 3:17Speaker 6: nobody blogging about you. But let me tell you something.
- 3:20Speaker 6: If you break it down and be real about it, Oh,
- 3:22Speaker 6: you done done something outside the box. You done done
- 3:26Speaker 6: something ladies included. You've done something out the box. You
- 3:29Speaker 6: woke up and went what did I do that for?
- 3:33Speaker 2: Oh?
- 3:33Speaker 6: We've all done it. So with all that said and done,
- 3:38Speaker 6: God still loves you, man, God still loves you, still
- 3:41Speaker 6: wants the best for you, still considers you his child,
- 3:45Speaker 6: and its willing. It's willing man to show you your future.
- 3:50Speaker 6: He is willing to show you your life. He is
- 3:53Speaker 6: willing to let you take a peek at the blueprint.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Man.
- 3:57Speaker 6: That's an amazing God right there. Because I know I
- 4:01Speaker 6: couldn't do it. I couldn't do it. I'm glad it's him,
- 4:04Speaker 6: you know, today, man, I want to encourage brothers out there.
- 4:07Speaker 6: And when I say brothers, I'm talking to everybody that's
- 4:10Speaker 6: of the male species. I don't care about your color.
- 4:12Speaker 6: I really really don't. I don't even have time for
- 4:15Speaker 6: that in my day. Matter of fact, Sometimes when you
- 4:18Speaker 6: get to discuss and race, I just get tired of it.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Sometimes I just wish, you know, some days I just
- 4:23Speaker 2: want to wake up, just do me.
- 4:25Speaker 6: You know, I got what the skin tone is, I
- 4:29Speaker 6: got that, But I just want to wake up some
- 4:31Speaker 6: days and just going by my business and do me.
- 4:33Speaker 6: I don't want to have to deal with it somebody.
- 4:35Speaker 6: I get tired of talking about the issues. Ain't gonna
- 4:37Speaker 6: make them go away. But sometimes I get tired. So
- 4:38Speaker 6: to day, I'm talking to brothers, all the brothers of
- 4:41Speaker 6: the male species. I'm talking about men today. Man, if
- 4:47Speaker 6: you ain't doing it all, if you're feel an empty man,
- 4:50Speaker 6: start today completing your process and your journey. And you
- 4:54Speaker 6: know what I'm saying by that, if there's a part
- 4:57Speaker 6: of you just missing as a man, and now, man,
- 5:01Speaker 6: I'm talking to you. So you know, some ladies listening,
- 5:04Speaker 6: but you know what I'm talking about. It's some part
- 5:07Speaker 6: of you that's missing. As a man, if you ain't
- 5:10Speaker 6: really been in touch with your kids like you're supposed
- 5:13Speaker 6: to now for whatever the reason is. And please know,
- 5:16Speaker 6: I do understand how sometimes women can use children as pawns.
- 5:23Speaker 6: It happens all the time. I've been through it. I've
- 5:26Speaker 6: been through it, man, I know what it feels like,
- 5:29Speaker 6: man to wanna do something. But because you ain't got
- 5:32Speaker 6: this or you ain't doing this, then I ain't gonna
- 5:34Speaker 6: let you have this. You gotta fight through, fellas, you
- 5:38Speaker 6: got to fight through. You got to fulfill your end
- 5:43Speaker 6: of the deal. And I got how difficult they making it.
- 5:47Speaker 6: I got how man, it's gonna come with some drama,
- 5:49Speaker 6: but you gotta fight through it. Because man, we need
- 5:52Speaker 6: fathers to be fathers. That's really what we need. If
- 5:56Speaker 6: you're a man out there and you are a father
- 5:58Speaker 6: of a child, need you do your job. I'm talking
- 6:03Speaker 6: about our community, our situation, us as a people, all
- 6:08Speaker 6: of us. We need you to be a father period.
- 6:14Speaker 6: Hey man, I ain't coming down on you. I'm just
- 6:17Speaker 6: your boy. I'm your man. And I've been in the
- 6:20Speaker 6: same predicament, in the same hole myself where I couldn't
- 6:24Speaker 6: get to them, where they were used as pawns, where
- 6:27Speaker 6: they were told things about me that wasn't even true.
- 6:30Speaker 6: I've been through it. You can't see them, you don't
- 6:34Speaker 6: come up. Okay, okay, I got all that. You ain't
- 6:36Speaker 6: sent this.
- 6:36Speaker 2: You ain't okay, Hey got all that.
- 6:39Speaker 6: If you can call them sometimes, tell them you're thinking
- 6:44Speaker 6: about them, tell them you love them. If you can
- 6:47Speaker 6: get a letter to them, if you can get a
- 6:49Speaker 6: message to your children through one of your relatives, start
- 6:53Speaker 6: the process today.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Be a father. It's your job now.
- 6:59Speaker 6: Because you you ignoring him, are you acting like they
- 7:02Speaker 6: ain't over there? Or you thee backed them out of
- 7:04Speaker 6: your mind because the situation got too difficult. I got that.
- 7:08Speaker 6: I got that, But you got to step up and
- 7:11Speaker 6: be fathers. You got to write a letter. You gotta
- 7:14Speaker 6: send the money. If she talking about If you don't
- 7:16Speaker 6: send all the money, you ain't gonna see him. Send
- 7:18Speaker 6: what you got. If she if taking it over there
- 7:20Speaker 6: is too much drama, send it through a relative, give
- 7:23Speaker 6: it to a mama, give it to her sister, ask
- 7:25Speaker 6: her to take it over there and do something for
- 7:27Speaker 6: the baby. Because okay, okay, you can't deal with the drama.
- 7:30Speaker 6: I got that, and I know it's much to pay
- 7:33Speaker 6: when you have to deal with that, because clearly I
- 7:36Speaker 6: know hell have no fury like a woman's going. Please know.
- 7:40Speaker 6: I know that, Please know. And that's a real statement.
- 7:43Speaker 6: That ain't no saying. Steve got that. That's the truth.
- 7:47Speaker 6: But do what you gotta do. Sometimes you have to apologize.
- 7:53Speaker 6: Sometimes an apology goes a long way to your children.
- 7:57Speaker 6: Just say, look, because I've made this apology before. Hey man,
- 8:01Speaker 6: look I'm sorry I wasn't there for you. I was
- 8:05Speaker 6: out grinding and hustling and I wasn't paying attention to
- 8:08Speaker 6: you and I should have been.
- 8:11Speaker 2: And I apologize.
- 8:12Speaker 6: And I imagine, man, there's days where you was telling
- 8:14Speaker 6: people I was your father up at the school and
- 8:16Speaker 6: they wasn't believing you. I apologize for sending you through that.
- 8:20Speaker 6: But now, man, I tell you what. I made some mistakes,
- 8:24Speaker 6: and I got it together. I want me and you
- 8:26Speaker 6: to move forward as father and son. I want me
- 8:29Speaker 6: and you to move forward as father and daughter. I
- 8:32Speaker 6: want to be in your life now. I ain't got
- 8:34Speaker 6: a lot, but guess what, I know a lot because
- 8:37Speaker 6: if you a man and you a father, please know,
- 8:39Speaker 6: you know something that child don't know. You have information,
- 8:42Speaker 6: you have experience. That's all they need sometimes to have somebody.
- 8:46Speaker 2: To talk to.
- 8:47Speaker 6: That daughter yours just needs to know from her daddy,
- 8:51Speaker 6: how should a man treat me?
- 8:53Speaker 2: Dad?
- 8:54Speaker 6: What should I look for in a man? See, they'll
- 8:57Speaker 6: take that information from you because they know it's coming
- 8:59Speaker 6: from the right place. And then you know that your
- 9:03Speaker 6: son needs you because you know how difficult it is
- 9:06Speaker 6: if you're trying to be a man without your daddy.
- 9:09Speaker 6: You already know how funky that is, right there. So
- 9:13Speaker 6: come on, man and meet your mistakes and move forward.
- 9:16Speaker 6: Call your kids, write a letter, get a phone number
- 9:19Speaker 6: on them, send a text, drop a message, send a
- 9:22Speaker 6: note up to the school.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Do something. Man. If those of us that are.
- 9:28Speaker 6: Fathers would just be fathers, I could shut the minering
- 9:32Speaker 6: camp down.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Now.
- 9:36Speaker 6: I will say, I apologize because I don't want you
- 9:38Speaker 6: to think I'm coming down on you. But I've been
- 9:40Speaker 6: through this myself. I ain't really coming down. I'm just
- 9:43Speaker 6: reminding you. This is our job. These are our children,
- 9:47Speaker 6: this is our responsibility. We are men. There is no excuses.
- 9:52Speaker 6: You don't get you don't get cut a brake on
- 9:54Speaker 6: that one.

- 15:48Speaker 9: nothing to do with that.
- 15:49Speaker 10: Okay. Now, first of all, what uh my parents have
- 15:54Speaker 10: to do with your corporation?
- 15:56Speaker 9: Well, what's going on? Like I said, you, you've been

- 19:38Speaker 10: I need your names because I ain't never had somebody
- 19:40Speaker 10: cow my damn job to tell me something about my
- 19:43Speaker 10: ber I need to know your name because I'm gonna

- 19:47Speaker 10: shit I need. I don't play that. So whoever you is,
- 19:50Speaker 10: and your carpet and whoever kindly by my breast, I
- 19:53Speaker 10: don't play that. I need your name, I really do.
- 19:56Speaker 10: Because you're done, I'm gonna find out who this is happen.
- 20:00Speaker 9: Do you want to know my name?
- 20:01Speaker 10: I want to know your damn name. He y'all, I
- 20:03Speaker 10: want to know your name. What is it?
- 20:05Speaker 9: Are you listening?

- 20:39Speaker 10: And then she got a limp. And I listened to

- 20:53Speaker 10: But I'm gonna catch her lips. I'm gonna catch the watching.
- 20:57Speaker 10: It's okay, I'm gonna get him.
- 20:58Speaker 9: All right, Babe, I got one more for your baby.
- 21:00Speaker 9: What is what is the baddest I'm talking about the
- 21:03Speaker 9: baddest radio show in the land.
- 21:05Speaker 10: May you already know.
- 21:06Speaker 9: That one and only?
- 21:07Speaker 10: Steve Harvey Morning Show? Hey, Tom, I guess what play
- 21:12Speaker 10: on this hip firm? I just want to let you
- 21:15Speaker 10: know I'm aside sixteen with a low cut.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Come up next, asked the colo. With you're listening Stave
- 21:28Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 21:32Speaker 1: and entertainment news Shannon Sharp and Skip Bayless have an
- 21:35Speaker 1: emotional farewell on Sharp's last day on the air. Drake
- 21:39Speaker 1: wins close to one million dollars. Sorry kir on the
- 21:43Speaker 1: Denver Nuggets championship game. Sorry about that, Junior, And d
- 21:48Speaker 1: Wade explains his wife Gabrielle Union's fifty flip fifty to
- 21:52Speaker 1: fifty split comment about their finances. We'll talk about all
- 21:55Speaker 1: of these stories coming up at the top of the hour,
- 21:58Speaker 1: but right now it is time to ask the clo
- 22:01Speaker 1: our chief love Officer, Steve Harvey. This one's from Kenna
- 22:06Speaker 1: and Baltimore. Clo Keanna writes, I'm in a fairly new
- 22:10Speaker 1: relationship and we just spent our first night together. He
- 22:13Speaker 1: was very gassy all night, and he didn't apologize or
- 22:17Speaker 1: excuse himself to go do it elsewhere. I told him
- 22:20Speaker 1: it's rude, and he said he should be able to
- 22:22Speaker 1: be comfortable around me. I'm a newbie at dating. So
- 22:25Speaker 1: is this common in relationship? No?
- 22:30Speaker 2: What especially one?
- 22:31Speaker 6: No, that's not common. It's not it's not common. You're
- 22:36Speaker 6: gonna have to make a decision here. Being comfortable around
- 22:43Speaker 6: somebody is necessary. You want to be comfortable. But if
- 22:46Speaker 6: any relationship is compromised, it's some things you can do
- 22:51Speaker 6: and some things you can't do. Some things you could
- 22:54Speaker 6: that you used to do, that you're not gonna be
- 22:56Speaker 6: able to do. Some things you're gonna give, some things
- 22:58Speaker 6: you gonna get. You got to get in the compromised position.
- 23:03Speaker 6: First night, he blowing gas all night long. No, what
- 23:07Speaker 6: are we going with this?
- 23:08Speaker 2: Here? We're done?
- 23:10Speaker 6: So I guess later on you're gonna be sitting in
- 23:12Speaker 6: there on the toilet with the damn door.
- 23:14Speaker 2: See, where are we going with this?
- 23:16Speaker 9: Here?
- 23:17Speaker 2: You got to close that dough.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I'm out for one must close the allright, what should
- 23:24Speaker 1: she say to him, Steve, We're done.
- 23:28Speaker 6: Hey, listen, listen to me. I find that to be offensive.
- 23:32Speaker 6: I got you can be a comfortable but if it's
- 23:34Speaker 6: offensive to me, why don't you try to You can go,
- 23:37Speaker 6: just go do it somewhere else. And then if he
- 23:40Speaker 6: don't want to do that. See, you gotta understand if
- 23:44Speaker 6: a person's unwilling to compromise, it ain't gonna stop it.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Blowing gas now, okay, all right, you.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Can write that down.
- 23:53Speaker 6: That's gonna carry over into several things, especially some girls
- 24:00Speaker 6: up in the hill you're just in here blowing gas.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Were gonna break up?
- 24:05Speaker 6: Cause what you can't do is be fine and funky.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Together, does it?
- 24:11Speaker 2: No?
- 24:12Speaker 7: No, I can't do both.
- 24:13Speaker 1: No, all right. Moving on to tab and Charleston, Tad wrote,
- 24:22Speaker 1: I wrote to you last year, Uncle Steve, for help
- 24:24Speaker 1: with my cheating husband. I did something stupid by trying
- 24:27Speaker 1: to beat him at his own game, and I got
- 24:30Speaker 1: caught in the act. Now I really need help. We
- 24:33Speaker 1: both were wrong. So what gives him the right to
- 24:36Speaker 1: be mad?
- 24:37Speaker 6: Well, the same right that gave you to be mad.
- 24:41Speaker 6: You got mad when you called him cheating. So you
- 24:43Speaker 6: thought you paying back by cheating on him. Now he
- 24:46Speaker 6: the bust that you being cheating.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Now he mad.
- 24:49Speaker 6: You see, y'all, y'all, where is it that you don't
- 24:52Speaker 6: understand why he mad? He mad because you cheated on him,
- 24:56Speaker 6: but he cheated on me. First, Well, two roles don't
- 24:58Speaker 6: make it right. You've heard that a hundred times, right,
- 25:02Speaker 6: and now you starting to understand exactly why that is?
- 25:05Speaker 13: So?
- 25:05Speaker 6: Now what y'all need now somedamn type of counselor if
- 25:09Speaker 6: y'all gonna stay together, but if every time we get
- 25:12Speaker 6: mad at each other, we're gonna go sleep with somebody else.
- 25:14Speaker 2: You been have a whole lot.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Of fanst Ooh, fix it, Jesus, because that.
- 25:19Speaker 6: Can't be your that can't be your pilly, your fixed pill.
- 25:23Speaker 2: That can't be the pill you take when.
- 25:25Speaker 6: Y'all mad, I'm go sleep with somebody because if that's it,
- 25:28Speaker 6: right there, Lord, have mercy.
- 25:32Speaker 2: How you think this marriage gonna work?
- 25:34Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 25:35Speaker 2: All right?
- 25:36Speaker 1: Moving on to Josie and Fayetteville, Josie says, my husband
- 25:39Speaker 1: has a twelve year old daughter from a previous marriage,
- 25:42Speaker 1: and when she's at our house, she's on FaceTime with
- 25:46Speaker 1: her mother all the time. We never know if we're
- 25:49Speaker 1: being recorded or not. I think the mom puts her
- 25:52Speaker 1: up to it, but my husband doesn't want to address it.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Should we take the phone from her?
- 25:59Speaker 2: Well, I don't know.
- 26:01Speaker 6: That you take the phone, but I think you're gonna
- 26:05Speaker 6: have to have a talk because we're asking you to
- 26:07Speaker 6: come over here so we can spend time with you
- 26:09Speaker 6: and so we can get to know you and we
- 26:12Speaker 6: can have some family time and everything. And I think
- 26:15Speaker 6: the mother should say unless the little girl, unless the
- 26:19Speaker 6: little girl is totally uncomfortable and her mother is her
- 26:23Speaker 6: security blanket, or the mother is saying, tell me what
- 26:27Speaker 6: they're doing?
- 26:28Speaker 2: What's going on over there?
- 26:30Speaker 6: It's one of the two things, because most twelve year
- 26:36Speaker 6: olds kind of want to get out and you know,
- 26:40Speaker 6: but they're going from one parent's house to the other.
- 26:43Speaker 6: So I'm thinking, this is my guess, is one of
- 26:46Speaker 6: two things. She's either really uncomfortable over at your house
- 26:50Speaker 6: and is using the mom as a security blanket.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Mom, how you doing? I wish I was home? And well,
- 26:56Speaker 2: what color is the couch? You now? Baby? What she
- 26:58Speaker 2: got to?
- 26:58Speaker 6: What kind of linens is on the bab that's most
- 27:01Speaker 6: likely taking advantage of this, Yeah, but you better know
- 27:07Speaker 6: that mama is taking full advantage of that you don't
- 27:10Speaker 6: like to cook, and how she's making them being high
- 27:13Speaker 6: her be what she have in the open, the pot he's.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Gonna leave too much.
- 27:19Speaker 2: So it's probably a lot of that. You're over it, then, yeah,
- 27:25Speaker 2: probably a lot going well them them women.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Well, so should she take the phone from her? That's
- 27:31Speaker 1: what Jose.
- 27:35Speaker 2: As well.
- 27:35Speaker 9: Yo.
- 27:35Speaker 8: They walk around pespecially little girls, they walk around them
- 27:38Speaker 8: phones twenty four seven.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Should she take the phone from her? That's what the
- 27:43Speaker 1: the wife is asking.
- 27:45Speaker 2: No, I don't.
- 27:45Speaker 6: I don't think you should take the phone because I
- 27:47Speaker 6: think you need to find out the cause of the problem.
- 27:51Speaker 6: The problem is she's on her phone facetiming her mama
- 27:55Speaker 6: the whole time. I think you need to address to
- 27:57Speaker 6: why that is first taking the phone and only gonna
- 28:00Speaker 6: build resentment. So if the little girl is uncomfortable over there,
- 28:04Speaker 6: then that's gonna be more discomfort, you know.
- 28:07Speaker 2: So I don't think take the phone. I think you
- 28:09Speaker 2: should sit down and have a meeting.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not gonna call you, mama. My mama told
- 28:15Speaker 1: me not to.
- 28:16Speaker 2: All right.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Moving on last one, Steve to DeMarcus and Campton.
- 28:22Speaker 6: I've heard everything. I've heard everything in my life. I
- 28:25Speaker 6: had a little boy telling me one time, you ain't
- 28:27Speaker 6: my daddy. It's okay, Well where is he?
- 28:28Speaker 2: Then that's correct?
- 28:34Speaker 6: Okay, maybe I might not be your daddy, but where
- 28:36Speaker 6: is he? Because right now I'm here and I'm helping.
- 28:39Speaker 6: I'm buying groceries and stuff, helping your mama with the
- 28:42Speaker 6: rent and all this year she got at new costing
- 28:44Speaker 6: down the driveway.
- 28:45Speaker 2: You ain't my daddy, okay? From where it's his pokassat?
- 28:49Speaker 1: Because I heard anybody, you've heard it all? See all right?
- 28:55Speaker 1: Last one DeMarcus and Camden writes, I moved in with
- 28:59Speaker 1: my thirty year old girlfriend, and she won't tell her
- 29:01Speaker 1: father that we lived together. She's lived her entire life
- 29:05Speaker 1: afraid of him. Should I talk to her dad or
- 29:07Speaker 1: keep hiding?
- 29:09Speaker 6: You can't interfere with that relationship. That relationship is thirty
- 29:13Speaker 6: year relationship. She probably already knows that her father would
- 29:18Speaker 6: not approve of her living with a guy. And that
- 29:21Speaker 6: guy's you. Now you're gonna step up and talk to him,
- 29:24Speaker 6: and what what you finished over there to that man house?
- 29:31Speaker 6: He gonna get his ass?
- 29:32Speaker 2: Whoop? So what did you call me after the fact fault.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Thank you, Celo.
- 29:38Speaker 2: That thumbnail of hatred I had for you has grown.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Coming up next Entertainment News right after this You're listening
- 29:48Speaker 1: morning show The TV sports Chantelist. Shannon Sharp's last day
- 29:53Speaker 1: and Fox Undisputed was on Tuesday, and at the end
- 29:58Speaker 1: of the show it was very emotional for Shannon and
- 30:01Speaker 1: his co host Skip Bayless. Sharp thanked Bayless for helping
- 30:04Speaker 1: him become who he is today.
- 30:06Speaker 14: Take a listen the opportunity that you gave me to
- 30:09Speaker 14: become what I became. I'm forever and debted to you.
- 30:12Speaker 14: I'll never forget what you did for me. You've helped
- 30:14Speaker 14: me grow more than you ever know.
- 30:17Speaker 13: Okay, this is not easy for me either.
- 30:22Speaker 14: One thing all I ask is when you lay your
- 30:26Speaker 14: head on that pill at night, I gave you everything
- 30:28Speaker 14: I had.
- 30:28Speaker 10: You did, I gave you everything, which is why I
- 30:31Speaker 10: want to thank you for all you have given to me.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Okay, I don't understand then, why is he leaving just
- 30:40Speaker 1: a bitterswul bigger and better things or what.
- 30:44Speaker 6: Well, you know, it's just in television that's always behind
- 30:48Speaker 6: the scenes business that people are unaware of. Shannon being
- 30:52Speaker 6: the brilliant person that he is is not going to
- 30:56Speaker 6: share that with the general public. I can't tell you
- 31:00Speaker 6: how many things get decisions get made on a network level,
- 31:04Speaker 6: how many things get said in a negotiating room that
- 31:08Speaker 6: you just cannot overcome. And sometimes man, working for the
- 31:13Speaker 6: money is sometimes a person would rather have their dignity
- 31:19Speaker 6: and their freedom than to sit there and have to
- 31:22Speaker 6: listen to you under some uncomfortable situations. Now I don't
- 31:26Speaker 6: know what this situation is because I ain't talk to
- 31:28Speaker 6: Shannon about it because I don't want to know right now,
- 31:32Speaker 6: or let it die down and we go somewhere efficient
- 31:35Speaker 6: and figure it out. But something has happened behind the scenes,
- 31:39Speaker 6: and it wasn't between Skip and Shannon. This has something
- 31:44Speaker 6: to do on the network level, the business negotiation level,
- 31:49Speaker 6: because for them two men to feel that way about
- 31:52Speaker 6: each other. And I'm talking about man, Dave, that was
- 31:55Speaker 6: a good ass show. I like that show, a great show.
- 32:00Speaker 6: Oh they had great camaraderie. Man, They got into it,
- 32:03Speaker 6: they got mad at each other, and they kept doing
- 32:05Speaker 6: their work. So I don't know what it is, but
- 32:07Speaker 6: you better believe it from behind the scenes network level negotiating,
- 32:10Speaker 6: this got something to do with money, got some to
- 32:13Speaker 6: do with money and some to do with pride.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Okay, So all right, well, I guess we'll find out,
- 32:20Speaker 1: like you say, Steve later on. But check this out, Junior.
- 32:23Speaker 1: The Nuggets one big and guess what so did Drake.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Drake bet on the Nuggets to secure their first NBA championship,
- 32:31Speaker 1: and when Denver won, he took home eight hundred and
- 32:35Speaker 1: thirty thousand dollars thirty thousand dollars eight hundred thirty thousand
- 32:39Speaker 1: dollars in cash earnings. Now, on June first, Drake posted
- 32:43Speaker 1: on Instagram that he placed two bets on the Nuggets.
- 32:46Speaker 1: On the first bet, he risked one million dollars on
- 32:49Speaker 1: the Nuggets to win the series outright. The second bet,
- 32:52Speaker 1: he put up two hundred and fifty thousand dollars on
- 32:54Speaker 1: the Nuggets to win the series in five games. So
- 32:58Speaker 1: Denver and Drake won big on this year's championship game.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Marry Jr.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Yeah, Junior, just eating chicken nuggets, that's all he does.
- 33:08Speaker 7: I put up two hundred dollars.
- 33:13Speaker 1: You better on Miami, Yeah, yeah.
- 33:15Speaker 7: Two fifty dours done?
- 33:16Speaker 2: Not that what Drake man?
- 33:17Speaker 7: No, I ain't got that type of money I ain't
- 33:19Speaker 7: doing that a lot of less zero.
- 33:22Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 33:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:23Speaker 7: If I was won, I told you, but I ain't winning.
- 33:25Speaker 7: So don't even talk back.
- 33:27Speaker 9: I know, I know.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Moving on.
- 33:30Speaker 6: Yeah, all right, See y'all always talking about Drake's wins, y'all,
- 33:34Speaker 6: don't never discuss Drake's losses. We don't know when you're
- 33:37Speaker 6: a gambling man. When you're a gambling man at that level,
- 33:40Speaker 6: it's some huge losses. Y'all just don't know about that.
- 33:43Speaker 6: But that's all people hear the wins.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Go man, I'm a back. Okay, Well when you lose.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Now and he has lost, okay, yeah, I never heard
- 33:50Speaker 1: he's making a whole lot of money.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, can take all them losses.
- 33:58Speaker 7: Yeah yeah right, Steve Right, Steve shown finally.
- 34:04Speaker 2: Two million dollars on a bet. I got to go
- 34:07Speaker 2: sit down somewhere and rethink my decision making process all
- 34:14Speaker 2: over again.
- 34:16Speaker 13: All right.
- 34:16Speaker 1: So, Dwayne Wade, the.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Biggest question is going to be the f wrong with you?
- 34:21Speaker 2: Biggest question?
- 34:23Speaker 1: Like that's just.
- 34:27Speaker 2: All right.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Let's get to this story about Dwayne Wade, who's attempting
- 34:30Speaker 1: now to clear up the confusion surrounding his wife's claim
- 34:34Speaker 1: that they split their finances, they're fifty fifty. On a
- 34:38Speaker 1: podcast interview, d Wade detailed how the fifty to fifty
- 34:42Speaker 1: issues started back when they started living together in Miami.
- 34:46Speaker 1: He said, quote, I said something about it being my
- 34:48Speaker 1: house that I paid for. My wife looked at me
- 34:52Speaker 1: and said, you will never say that to me again
- 34:55Speaker 1: when it's something that we share. So when we moved
- 34:58Speaker 1: to La, my wife said, I got half on it.
- 35:01Speaker 1: You will never say my house again. You can say
- 35:04Speaker 1: that in the arena.
- 35:06Speaker 9: Uh.
- 35:06Speaker 1: He also explained that she takes care of her family,
- 35:09Speaker 1: her parents, siblings, and others with her finances, and he
- 35:12Speaker 1: takes care of his children, his parents, and his siblings
- 35:15Speaker 1: with his finances. So here's the question, Tommy, you already
- 35:18Speaker 1: said that you don't care, But why do we care
- 35:20Speaker 1: how millionaire couple spend their money.
- 35:23Speaker 2: I don't know why.
- 35:23Speaker 8: I mean, I don't know why we care. People were
- 35:25Speaker 8: really in the ways can do whatever the Wades want
- 35:30Speaker 8: to do. I don't well, I don't care what's going
- 35:34Speaker 8: on in the Wade how I don't care on this.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Jesus, what though, if I marry NBA player, I ain't
- 35:44Speaker 1: split nothing fifty whatever, Gabelle, I'm not doing it. I
- 35:49Speaker 1: would just be over there mad.
- 35:51Speaker 6: Right if whatever happened, here's something that will never happen. Okay,
- 36:00Speaker 6: never hear Steve and Mardrey explaining they finances to no
- 36:05Speaker 6: doom man.
- 36:07Speaker 2: What y'all say? It ain't your damn Beast's right? That's right,
- 36:12Speaker 2: it ain't nothing, all right?
- 36:18Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, Teddy Riley
- 36:21Speaker 1: remember him from the New Jack Swing Age. Well, anyway,
- 36:25Speaker 1: he's supporting Donald Trump for its twenty twenty reelection.
- 36:29Speaker 2: Bid.
- 36:30Speaker 1: We'll talk about it to this bar you're listening, morning show.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Teddy Riley is voiced his support for Donald Trump after
- 36:39Speaker 1: Trump's second indictment and arraignment. Trump proclaimed his innocence in
- 36:44Speaker 1: an Instagram post late last week, and Teddy Riley jumped
- 36:47Speaker 1: in the comments to support Trump with lots of muscle emojis.
- 36:51Speaker 1: One commenter, who was shocked by Teddy Riley's exuberance for Trump, asked, seriously, Teddy,
- 36:57Speaker 1: you're really on here agreeing with this dude. Riley made
- 37:00Speaker 1: it clear that he is in full support of Trump's
- 37:03Speaker 1: re election because Trump pardoned his older brother from serving
- 37:06Speaker 1: a double life sentence in prison. Okay, that's why you
- 37:11Speaker 1: wonder why. That's why. According to an interview with The
- 37:15Speaker 1: Shade Room, Teddy Riley believes that Trump can do something
- 37:18Speaker 1: amazing for us because he did it for Africa while
- 37:21Speaker 1: he was in office. He said that everyone has their
- 37:23Speaker 1: own beliefs and this is solely what he believes.
- 37:26Speaker 2: So there you go.
- 37:28Speaker 6: Got what did their family? What did Donald Trump do
- 37:32Speaker 6: for saying that Africa and Haiti was a s nation?
- 37:38Speaker 1: Yeah as whole.
- 37:41Speaker 2: That's whatevers. So you know what I mean. I don't know.
- 37:44Speaker 6: Look, Teddy could do what he want to do, but
- 37:45Speaker 6: y'all stop being upset with people who had one vote. Yeah,
- 37:51Speaker 6: Teddy got one vote. Now, if his brother got pardoned,
- 37:55Speaker 6: I can understand his appreciation for Donald Trump.
- 38:00Speaker 13: With them on that.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Right, he pardoned my brother. He alright with me?
- 38:05Speaker 6: Okay, cool, I ain't mad at that. As matter of fact,
- 38:08Speaker 6: I ain't mad at Teddy at all. I understand him
- 38:10Speaker 6: supporting the dude right now. But that's that's Teddy.
- 38:15Speaker 2: It's just Teddy.
- 38:17Speaker 6: He just won vote. But you know he ain't out
- 38:21Speaker 6: there campaign. And yeah, now let me tell you something,
- 38:26Speaker 6: Donald Trump is in trouble. You can tweet all you want,
- 38:31Speaker 6: it's the biggest hypocrisy to miss use of power in
- 38:34Speaker 6: our judicial system. No, that's what y'all been doing since
- 38:38Speaker 6: we got here. So welcome to the treatment that most
- 38:43Speaker 6: people have to relegate themselves too. I'm I'm in full
- 38:47Speaker 6: support of Donald Trump getting indicted, Yeah, getting a grand jury.
- 38:53Speaker 2: I'm just thought.
- 38:54Speaker 6: Welcome, Welcome, because I'm telling you right now, if any
- 38:59Speaker 6: one of you listening had done any of this stuff
- 39:03Speaker 6: this man has done, your ass would be locked up
- 39:07Speaker 6: and in prison.
- 39:08Speaker 2: I'm telling you that right now.
- 39:10Speaker 6: That's just being you take them documents and what y'all
- 39:13Speaker 6: don't know, all these Hannity and all the people y'all
- 39:16Speaker 6: don't even know what them documents is that he got.
- 39:20Speaker 2: That's what's the crazy part. And he selected the documents
- 39:24Speaker 2: he wanted to put in his incredible information on Now
- 39:31Speaker 2: did you see him in the bathroom, Steve.
- 39:38Speaker 7: About curtain?
- 39:40Speaker 1: What you're doing? That's what this is all right? Coming

- 54:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I will say buckle up and hold on type,
- 54:30Speaker 2: but that's stupid. That's what he said. Were about to
- 54:32Speaker 2: read this letter now, all right, pay attention.
- 54:35Speaker 15: That's the intro.
- 54:36Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Steve.
- 54:38Speaker 2: Wow to the strawberry, pay you ten.
- 54:41Speaker 1: We don't need Tommy or Junior with that wow subject.
- 54:47Speaker 1: My husband has done everything except leave here. Stephen Shirley,
- 54:51Speaker 1: I'm fifty seven years old and I've been married for
- 54:55Speaker 1: far too long. My husband and I used to fuss
- 54:58Speaker 1: and fight, and then I got wise and stopped entertaining
- 55:01Speaker 1: his mess. I got a boyfriend so I could relieve
- 55:04Speaker 1: some stress, and he helped me to mentally get over
- 55:07Speaker 1: my troublesome marriage. I have asked my husband for a
- 55:10Speaker 1: divorce for years, and he won't go anywhere. I told
- 55:14Speaker 1: him I had a boyfriend, and I showed him pictures
- 55:18Speaker 1: of us together. He said that I was going through
- 55:21Speaker 1: some things and he was going to give me time
- 55:24Speaker 1: and space to heal. I started to think that he
- 55:27Speaker 1: was a little looney since he won't go away. Then
- 55:30Speaker 1: I did the unthinkable. When my husband was out of town,
- 55:34Speaker 1: I had my boyfriend over to the house. And my
- 55:37Speaker 1: best girlfriend came by. We had some drinks and ended
- 55:40Speaker 1: up in a threesome. We have security cameras in the house,
- 55:45Speaker 1: but I wasn't thinking about it at the time. My
- 55:47Speaker 1: husband called, but I wasn't. My husband called, but I
- 55:51Speaker 1: ignored his calls. I felt bad the next day when
- 55:54Speaker 1: he confronted me about it, but not bad enough. My
- 55:57Speaker 1: boyfriend alone. Just when I thought my husband didn't care anymore,
- 56:01Speaker 1: he printed photos of me and my boyfriend in my
- 56:05Speaker 1: marital bed sleeping. He mailed them out to most of
- 56:09Speaker 1: our family members. Some of them were shocked, but most
- 56:12Speaker 1: of them already knew I was cheating. My husband wanted
- 56:15Speaker 1: it to hurt me, and I was embarrassed a bit,
- 56:18Speaker 1: but still not enough to want this marriage. What will
- 56:21Speaker 1: I have to do to get rid of my husband?
- 56:23Speaker 1: Why is he wanting to stay with me after my unfaithfulness.
- 56:26Speaker 1: My boyfriend is scared of him. Should I be concerned
- 56:29Speaker 1: about his mental health?
- 56:32Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 56:32Speaker 1: I think you should be concerned about his mental health,
- 56:35Speaker 1: but I don't think you should be concerned in the
- 56:37Speaker 1: way you think you should be concerned. That he's crazy
- 56:40Speaker 1: like a fox. At this point, I think he's just
- 56:42Speaker 1: waiting until he gets good and ready to divorce you. Yeah,
- 56:47Speaker 1: he wants you, you know, he wants you to be
- 56:49Speaker 1: there for all of this. He's probably been doing his
- 56:52Speaker 1: own thing, just like you've been doing your own thing
- 56:55Speaker 1: for a long time. The question is, why are you
- 56:58Speaker 1: waiting on him to end this marriage? If you want
- 57:01Speaker 1: to leave, leave, if you want to divorce, divorce him.
- 57:04Speaker 1: I mean, this is a horrible marriage anyway. You're cheating
- 57:07Speaker 1: all over the place. I can't believe you had another
- 57:10Speaker 1: man in your marital bed. I just cannot believe that
- 57:14Speaker 1: you sound like the one with the marital with the
- 57:17Speaker 1: mental problems. Do you know that you risk your life
- 57:20Speaker 1: and your boyfriend's life every time you bring him to
- 57:23Speaker 1: your house. You're I think you're a terrible person for
- 57:26Speaker 1: what you're doing. And I think your husband made sure
- 57:29Speaker 1: your whole family knows what you're doing. I say, stop
- 57:32Speaker 1: this file for divorce so you can put everyone out
- 57:36Speaker 1: of their misery. You, your husband, and your boyfriend, everybody.
- 57:39Speaker 1: I just think you're a mess for doing all of this, Steve.
- 57:43Speaker 6: This letter is so dull, going ridiculous. I'm gonna just
- 57:47Speaker 6: let me start with this. You're not You're not finna
- 57:49Speaker 6: do me like this. Okay, let me, let me, let
- 57:52Speaker 6: me just get real clear about this here letter. You're
- 57:55Speaker 6: not finn. Do none of this to me, not in
- 57:59Speaker 6: my day house. Listen, Listen, crazy, listen. Before I comment
- 58:07Speaker 6: on this letter, I'm gonna have to give my response
- 58:11Speaker 6: to this letter. I'm finna have to have an out
- 58:13Speaker 6: of body experience because there's no way I can read
- 58:16Speaker 6: this letter. Ask Steve Harvey, the dude I know, and
- 58:20Speaker 6: make sense of this. So I'm gonna have to have
- 58:22Speaker 6: an out of body experience.
- 58:23Speaker 2: Read the letter.
- 58:24Speaker 6: Okay, fifty seven year old woman being married far too long.
- 58:28Speaker 6: You and your husband used to fuss and fight, and
- 58:31Speaker 6: then you got hip to it and stop entertaining this mess.
- 58:34Speaker 2: Okay.
- 58:35Speaker 6: Then right out of nowhere, she pops up and saying,
- 58:38Speaker 6: I got a boyfriend so I could relieve some stress,
- 58:42Speaker 6: and he helped me to mentally get over my troublesome marriage.
- 58:45Speaker 2: Oh I bet he was helpful.
- 58:48Speaker 6: Oh hell yeah, oh yeah. I've asked my husband for
- 58:52Speaker 6: a divorce and he won't go anywhere. Here is where
- 58:56Speaker 6: the letter starts taking an unbelievable turn. Told my husband
- 59:02Speaker 6: I had a boyfriend. I showed my husband some pictures
- 59:07Speaker 6: of us together. Let's stop the letter right here, right now.
- 59:14Speaker 6: There's no more to write. If this letter had me
- 59:19Speaker 6: in it anyway, the letter's over with. Everything after this
- 59:24Speaker 6: is court documents and police reports.
- 59:27Speaker 2: That's all it is. It's all this is. It's nothing else.
- 59:32Speaker 6: When it's no nobody email and into the radio show.
- 59:36Speaker 6: You can't email from.
- 59:37Speaker 2: Prison, you can't hear.
- 59:39Speaker 6: All this is court documents and police reports. From this
- 59:43Speaker 6: moment on, you took a picture you and your born
- 59:45Speaker 6: friend and you showed it to me.
- 59:47Speaker 9: What what?
- 59:49Speaker 2: I'm so stuck on? Who is the dude you show
- 59:53Speaker 2: these pictures to?
- 59:55Speaker 9: What?
- 59:55Speaker 2: Husband?
- 59:57Speaker 9: Is this? What?
- 59:59Speaker 2: Little off? Kenda Roney? Till the kid underdeveloped? Husband? Did
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: you show the pictures of you and your boyfriend? And too?
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: You showed it to him and then he said I
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: was going through some things and he was gonna give
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: me some time and space to heal.
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: Oh, you and your boyfriend would need some time and
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: somewhere to heal.
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: I'm telling you right now, both of y'all gonna need
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: a lot of time off from work, So y'all go
- 1:00:33Speaker 6: somewhere and heal.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: That would be a true ass statement.
- 1:00:38Speaker 9: Huh.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: Come on, all right, hang on Steve hang on man.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour, we
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: will have part two of Steve's response to this crazy letter.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: The subject is my husband has done everything except leave.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: Morning show, All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: strawberry letter. The subject to my husband has done everything
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: except leave.
- 1:01:10Speaker 6: Y'all this crazy letter. This fifty seven year old lady
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: been married to her husband far too long. They've been arguing.
- 1:01:17Speaker 6: She finally got hiped to it and said she ain't
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: putting up with this mess no more. So she went out.
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: She got herself a boyfriend that would mentally help her
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: get over the stress of the marriage. Okay, he was
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: very help. I got a little You've asked your husband
- 1:01:32Speaker 6: for a divorce several times. He ain't going nowhere.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: So this lady.
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: Decides to tell her husband that she had a boyfriend
- 1:01:42Speaker 6: and then showed him pictures of them together. Why we
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: have more letter after this, I don't know, because, like
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: I said in the break before, everything after this is
- 1:01:54Speaker 6: court documents and police reports.
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: You're gonna show me a picture you and him together?
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: All right? Then?
- 1:02:01Speaker 6: He said that I was going through some things and
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: he was gonna give me some time and space to heal.
- 1:02:07Speaker 6: If you showed them pictures to me, the time and
- 1:02:10Speaker 6: space you would need to heal. You would have to
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: take time off from your job so your new boyfriend
- 1:02:16Speaker 6: could go somewhere and heal. It's gonna sustain injuries. That's
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: how bad this ass was was gonna be for the dude.
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: I'm telling you right now, I'm putting hands on hell.
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: But now it get worse. I hate to tell y'all this,
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: It get worse. I started to think that my husband
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: was a little loony since he won't go away. Then
- 1:02:35Speaker 6: I did the unthinkable. When my husband was out of town,
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: y'all ain't gonna be leave us, I had my boyfriend
- 1:02:41Speaker 6: over to the house and my best girlfriend came by.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: We had some drinks, and we ended up in the threesome.
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: Well, I don't know why you're surprised about that. Every
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: other decision you'd made is ignorant. You showed your husband
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: the picture you and your boyfriend. Now you and your
- 1:02:58Speaker 6: boyfriend over there with your best girlfriend, y'all had a threesome.
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: The surprise. Okay, all ain't but then we.
- 1:03:06Speaker 6: Have security cameras in the house, but I wasn't thinking
- 1:03:09Speaker 6: about it at the time. My husband called the house phone,
- 1:03:13Speaker 6: but I know it is called I felt bad the
- 1:03:16Speaker 6: next day when he confronted me about it, but not
- 1:03:18Speaker 6: bad enough to leave my boyfriend alone. And just when
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: I thought my husband didn't care anymore, he printed photos
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: of me my boyfriend in my marital bed, sleepy. He
- 1:03:30Speaker 6: mailed them out to most of our family members. Some
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: of them were shocked, but most of them already knew
- 1:03:35Speaker 6: I was cheap. What these pictures that he mailed to
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: the family member, I'm just telling you, if it was me,
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: all these pictures, this is what's called evidence. All this
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: is evidenced because I'm gonna use this in my case
- 1:03:52Speaker 6: against you for mental cruelty and.
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: What they call that.
- 1:03:57Speaker 6: I'm gonna use it for mental cruelty, and I'm gonna
- 1:04:00Speaker 6: use it for uh, you know, self defense.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: I was defending my home.
- 1:04:05Speaker 6: When I killed him, your honor, when I beat him
- 1:04:09Speaker 6: to me on my dad attempted murder charge that I
- 1:04:11Speaker 6: got against this man because he was sleeping in my bed.
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: I thought he had broke in and was choking my wife.
- 1:04:19Speaker 6: And that's why I beat him to near death because
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: these pictures, I thought he had tried to choke her,
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: so she he had got tired and fell asleep next
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: to her. So that's why I attempted to attempted murder
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: charge and these pictures it's evidenced. See, I said I
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: was gonna have to do this letter differently as an
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: out of body experience, but I keep interjecting myself in
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: this life because I just don't see how this works.
- 1:04:44Speaker 6: So I won't apologize or my husband wanted it to
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: hurt me, and I was embarrassed a bit, but still
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: not enough to want this marriage. What would I have
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: to do to get rid of my husband? Well, I
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: think you've done enough. I think you've done enough.
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: What do I need to do? You've done all you
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: need to do. As a matter of fact, let me
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: tell you something.
- 1:05:04Speaker 6: I think sisly, you need to go sit down somewhere
- 1:05:06Speaker 6: because I don't know what else you can do if
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: I'm not staying with you and you're not leaving me
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: with him, because that will be no help.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: You're not leaving with him. You can leave, but it won't.
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: Be with him because and this man right then, you said,
- 1:05:25Speaker 6: why is he wanting to stay with me after my
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: own faithfulness.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: My boyfriend is scared of him.
- 1:05:30Speaker 6: Well, he wasn't too scared to come get in his bed,
- 1:05:35Speaker 6: but I bet you after that, he'll be scared of me.
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: You might not be scared of me then, but I
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: bet after I get this photo you in my bed,
- 1:05:42Speaker 6: I bet your ass be scared of me. The It's
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: no way I'm letting you get away with this dog.
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: It's no way you're not disrespecting.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: Me like this.
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: Should I be concerned about his mental health? You really
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: need to be concerned about your mental health. That job
- 1:06:00Speaker 6: in this whole day, yo, it's something wrong with you.
- 1:06:05Speaker 6: Let me tell you something, lady, You are so damn lucky.
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: You got to be the most fortunate woman that has
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: ever written into this were written into this show.
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: And how do you still got this man? After them?
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: You done showed me pictures of you and your boyfriend together.
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: You done had a threesome at my house, and you
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: and your man that fell asleep in my bed. H
- 1:06:33Speaker 6: and all this talking about this boyfriend and your present tense,
- 1:06:37Speaker 6: that's over with two because he is a hass bed.

- 1:09:59Speaker 6: in that point. You had the nerve to talk about

- 1:10:23Speaker 2: you Monday.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: All right, Junior, Happy Father's Day to all the fathers
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: out there. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: we'll talk about the fiftieth anniversary of hip hop and
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: our top five hip hop artists of all time. Right
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: after this, you're listening Morning show. All right, guys, Carla
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: is here with some music news.
- 1:10:46Speaker 15: What you got, Carla, It's the fiftieth anniversary of hip hop. Okay,
- 1:10:51Speaker 15: so we've been celebrating all year. So I guess what
- 1:10:53Speaker 15: nineteen seventy three.
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: You know, hip hop's been around since seventy three.
- 1:10:57Speaker 10: Yeah, seventy three.
- 1:10:59Speaker 15: So it's just like what Biggie said, you never thought
- 1:11:02Speaker 15: hip hop would take it this far right, West Coast,
- 1:11:07Speaker 15: dirty South, Midwest, all around the world.
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: So I'm gonna tell you.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: My top hip hop pioneers.
- 1:11:14Speaker 15: So I guess we'll start off my first hip hop song,
- 1:11:18Speaker 15: Sugarhill Gang.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: That's the first one I heard rappers delight.
- 1:11:22Speaker 15: Right, that was so I said, Shirley hip hop exactly,
- 1:11:31Speaker 15: look at you, Okay, I got it.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11:37Speaker 8: I bought that album exactly from sound Waves. I about
- 1:11:41Speaker 8: it from sound Ways.
- 1:11:43Speaker 15: YEP in Houston, Texas. So from there though, when you
- 1:11:47Speaker 15: heard that song, then it got real serious. The message
- 1:11:50Speaker 15: broken glass everywhere. Man, you know it was to me
- 1:11:55Speaker 15: that was a moment Nellie Mail, that was a moment
- 1:11:58Speaker 15: that hip hop. I guess it was a telling real
- 1:12:01Speaker 15: life social issues. It was telling a story for the
- 1:12:04Speaker 15: half knocks and breaking down, you know, what was really
- 1:12:08Speaker 15: going on. So you had this party rappers of light.
- 1:12:10Speaker 15: Then it got serious. So that's to me how it
- 1:12:13Speaker 15: all started, this hip hop thing. And then we're gonna
- 1:12:15Speaker 15: go into Run Run d C. That's for me number two.
- 1:12:21Speaker 15: You know, you had your b boys stance ready, but
- 1:12:24Speaker 15: they were a movement, and I think for me Run
- 1:12:26Speaker 15: DMC the importance of what they were doing. It wasn't
- 1:12:30Speaker 15: just about them rapping. It wasn't just about the MC.
- 1:12:33Speaker 15: They showed how important the DJ was. Yeah, you see
- 1:12:38Speaker 15: what I'm saying. That's when we got exposed to say, Carl.
- 1:12:43Speaker 12: Do you know, they're like one of the first groups
- 1:12:44Speaker 12: to cross over into doing songs with rock star right
- 1:12:48Speaker 12: Eryl Smith.
- 1:12:50Speaker 7: They were doing stuff.
- 1:12:51Speaker 15: Oh man, they were a movement, and then we got
- 1:12:53Speaker 15: to see their videos, you know, on TV and the
- 1:12:56Speaker 15: Adidas and what they were wearing. So run DMC, and
- 1:12:58Speaker 15: then we can go back to to women love Tupac,
- 1:13:01Speaker 15: and Tupac did what he wanted to do. The poetry,
- 1:13:04Speaker 15: his message thug like tatted on his chest, so I
- 1:13:08Speaker 15: mean he wrapped keep your head up was dedicated to them.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: Yeah, all of it.
- 1:13:18Speaker 7: Let me get this out.
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: My female and Pepper's here, get out.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: And what a man?
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: What a man?
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: Yeah, the female MC, Salt and Pepper.
- 1:13:34Speaker 15: Every party back in the eighties you had to have
- 1:13:38Speaker 15: on Salt and Pepper. They were like the first, to me,
- 1:13:41Speaker 15: the first all female hip hop group that hit it big,
- 1:13:45Speaker 15: you know, and a male dominating genre type music. And
- 1:13:49Speaker 15: then finally, I'm just gonna close it out with jay
- 1:13:52Speaker 15: Z Biggie and the rapper's favorite rapper, the r rock
- 1:13:58Speaker 15: Him because I think Rak.
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: Did you not mention ice Cube on this whole thing?
- 1:14:06Speaker 7: We got to talk about all of this?
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: Yeah, so we can do part two. We can talk
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: about don't be doing what I mentioned in ice Cube.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: You got l El Doctor Dre, we got Snoop Wee
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: come on now Snoop.
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: Yeah before me.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: My list, tell me got a little by my list, didn't.
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: It but on your list that don't make no sense
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: to me.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: I'm sorry, well I cut it off.
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: I cut it off.
- 1:14:34Speaker 15: So I put j Biggie rack Kim because I think
- 1:14:37Speaker 15: that the rappers look up to Rack Kim. He transitioned
- 1:14:41Speaker 15: how they rhyme. If you ask any rapper, I bet
- 1:14:44Speaker 15: you he's like number on Big Daddy Caye. We could
- 1:14:48Speaker 15: keep going on and off, but that's it. Fifty anniversary
- 1:14:51Speaker 15: and hip hop. You know it gets heated every time
- 1:14:53Speaker 15: we talk about hip hop music. But happy anniversary to
- 1:14:57Speaker 15: hip hop. Thank you'll Steve Poppy morning.

- 1:21:08Speaker 15: a five to nine Central.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right, you know.
- 1:21:16Speaker 6: Since his Father's Day, let me take some time to
- 1:21:20Speaker 6: offer I have several thoughts. I haven't quite put it together,
- 1:21:23Speaker 6: but I have so many thoughts on Father's Day. First
- 1:21:27Speaker 6: of all, congratulations to all the men out there who
- 1:21:32Speaker 6: perform the duties of being a dad. Anybody can be
- 1:21:38Speaker 6: a father. You commit the sexual act, spur meets the egg,
- 1:21:44Speaker 6: reproduction cycle occurs, child is born.
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: You are a father.
- 1:21:50Speaker 6: But Father's Day is really for dads because very few
- 1:21:55Speaker 6: children say father, father, can you go to the store
- 1:21:58Speaker 6: with me?
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: Father? Can you come watch me play?
- 1:22:01Speaker 9: Father?
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: Can you buy me this? It's always dad, daddy.
- 1:22:06Speaker 6: So I'm talking to all of the fathers who have
- 1:22:09Speaker 6: decided consciously to take the time to fulfill a duty
- 1:22:15Speaker 6: and obligation that oftentimes some people just don't do for
- 1:22:21Speaker 6: various reasons. But I'm talking to the ones who do.
- 1:22:25Speaker 6: I'm talking to the dads out there who go to
- 1:22:28Speaker 6: baseball games, who go to recitals, who go up to
- 1:22:33Speaker 6: the school, who drop their kids off, who provide money
- 1:22:38Speaker 6: for clothing, paying child support, making regular visitations. I'm talking
- 1:22:44Speaker 6: about the ones man that try to make dreams come
- 1:22:47Speaker 6: true of children. I'm talking about the men that work hard,
- 1:22:51Speaker 6: take their money and make sure that a portion of
- 1:22:54Speaker 6: it goes to their children, to their families.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: That's what being a dad all about. A special shout out.
- 1:23:02Speaker 6: Goes to those dads out there on this Father's Day
- 1:23:05Speaker 6: who have taken up the role in obligation of some
- 1:23:08Speaker 6: man who has it. Because there are a lot of
- 1:23:11Speaker 6: guys out there who date women with children, who have
- 1:23:14Speaker 6: women who have had children. It's a lot of blended
- 1:23:17Speaker 6: families out there. It's a lot of men out there
- 1:23:19Speaker 6: that have stepped in and started taking over the role
- 1:23:22Speaker 6: who didn't have children of their own, but they met
- 1:23:24Speaker 6: this wonderful woman that had children, and he stepped in
- 1:23:27Speaker 6: and filled the role and been doing it most adequately.
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: Congratulations to all of you.
- 1:23:33Speaker 6: Being a father is hard because when you're a father,
- 1:23:36Speaker 6: you can never get it one hundred. I heard Bishop
- 1:23:40Speaker 6: Jake say this one time, and I'm sort of paraphrasing it,
- 1:23:43Speaker 6: but you, just as a father and a husband, you
- 1:23:46Speaker 6: can never get it one hundred. Don't worry about it, fellas,
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: because a lot of times they want time from you,
- 1:23:54Speaker 6: and you can't give them time because you got to
- 1:23:56Speaker 6: get out here and hustle and grind to provide the
- 1:23:58Speaker 6: things that they won't and need. And then when you're
- 1:24:02Speaker 6: out here providing the things that you want and need,
- 1:24:04Speaker 6: you can't give them time. So if you give them time,
- 1:24:08Speaker 6: then all of a sudden they got a bunch of
- 1:24:10Speaker 6: wants and needs that you can't fulfill because you gave
- 1:24:13Speaker 6: them all the time and you wasn't out here on
- 1:24:15Speaker 6: your grind. But then you get out here on your grind.
- 1:24:18Speaker 6: Now all of a sudden there's some complaining because you
- 1:24:20Speaker 6: won't give them time.
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: So as a father and a husband, it's hard to
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: get it. One hundred.
- 1:24:26Speaker 6: It just is. That's the cross we bear. It is
- 1:24:30Speaker 6: our job to take care of our children. It is
- 1:24:34Speaker 6: our obligation to take care of our children. Now, you
- 1:24:37Speaker 6: and the woman may not work out for whatever the reason,
- 1:24:40Speaker 6: but these children had no say in the matter. They
- 1:24:44Speaker 6: deserve your attention, They deserve your your thoughts. They deserve
- 1:24:49Speaker 6: more than anything. It ain't really about your child support
- 1:24:53Speaker 6: in terms of payments, as it is more important that
- 1:24:56Speaker 6: you find the time. I'm down here with two hundred
- 1:24:59Speaker 6: bo who don't have relationship with their father, and I'm
- 1:25:03Speaker 6: gonna tell you, man, when the subject of their father
- 1:25:05Speaker 6: come up in the disappointment that they feel from time
- 1:25:08Speaker 6: to time, man, you could just see the hurt on them.
- 1:25:12Speaker 6: You can just see the hurt on them, man. And
- 1:25:14Speaker 6: I feel so bad for these boys. But for those
- 1:25:17Speaker 6: of you out there that are making sure that these
- 1:25:20Speaker 6: daughters and these sons out here don't feel the pain
- 1:25:26Speaker 6: of absenteeism. Congratulations, Thank you for doing your job. Thank
- 1:25:31Speaker 6: you for doing your duty. Thank you for the honor
- 1:25:35Speaker 6: of being a father. It is one of my greatest honors, man,
- 1:25:40Speaker 6: that I have been a father. That have I gotten
- 1:25:42Speaker 6: it wrong a couple of times?
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: I most certainly have. But ain't nobody perfect. But you know, I.
- 1:25:49Speaker 6: Know so much about myself. I was who I was,
- 1:25:54Speaker 6: and I am who I am, And I'm cool with
- 1:25:57Speaker 6: both of them because I had some growing pain. I
- 1:26:00Speaker 6: had to learn this thing because it ain't no manual
- 1:26:03Speaker 6: on it. I saw my father do it outstandingly, but
- 1:26:09Speaker 6: I didn't know. I knew my father when he was
- 1:26:13Speaker 6: forty two. I didn't know my father when he was
- 1:26:16Speaker 6: twenty four. I had kids at twenty five. So what
- 1:26:20Speaker 6: I saw my father doing from the time he was
- 1:26:22Speaker 6: forty two own he was a fully developed man. I
- 1:26:26Speaker 6: had children with no skill set. But you can get
- 1:26:29Speaker 6: it right though. You can become the man you need
- 1:26:34Speaker 6: to be along the way. And congratulations on his Father's
- 1:26:37Speaker 6: Day for all the men out there that are active
- 1:26:40Speaker 6: in their kids life.
- 1:26:42Speaker 2: And let me say this to any man that's not
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: active in your kids life.
