- 2:04Speaker 1: and everybody you are listening to the voice, come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only. Steve Harvey, Oh yeah, man,
- 2:11Speaker 1: got a radio show. Do you understand that? I'm telling
- 2:15Speaker 1: you God been big in my life. I'm not gonna
- 2:18Speaker 1: kid you. I'm telling you in here do the same
- 2:20Speaker 1: thing for you. God. God is a gentleman, you know.
- 2:24Speaker 1: I want to I want to point that out to you.
- 2:27Speaker 1: God is an absolute gentleman. He will not come in
- 2:32Speaker 1: unless he's invited. He don't just barge into your life.
- 2:38Speaker 1: He gives us the power of choice. You know, if
- 2:42Speaker 1: you say you got it, I don't need you, He
- 2:44Speaker 1: let you have it. If you say I need you,
- 2:47Speaker 1: come see about me. He right there. It's just a
- 2:51Speaker 1: real simple thing, man. So always say to people this.
- 2:56Speaker 1: If you've gotten yourself into something, please know I have.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I was stuck. I thought a couple of times, well,
- 3:09Speaker 1: might not make it past this one. But then if
- 3:13Speaker 1: I don't make it past it, what's gonna happen? And
- 3:16Speaker 1: then I held on to this little thing that my
- 3:18Speaker 1: mother kept talking to me about. She said, sometimes, so
- 3:22Speaker 1: when you ain't got nothing else in you, just hope,
- 3:26Speaker 1: she said, just hope it'll be all right, you know.
- 3:29Speaker 1: And what I've learned in my life is that hope.
- 3:32Speaker 1: It's the beginning of faith. Hope. It's just is there
- 3:37Speaker 1: a possibility out there for me? I sure hope something happened.
- 3:45Speaker 1: See hope, hope it's okay, man, Because like I say,
- 3:49Speaker 1: for me, the way I've lived my life, hope was
- 3:52Speaker 1: the beginning of faith. It was just the idea. It's
- 3:56Speaker 1: just the thought that something could change from me, that
- 3:59Speaker 1: something could be a little bit different from me, that maybe, man,
- 4:03Speaker 1: just maybe for some reason, I could be saved, I
- 4:08Speaker 1: could be rescued, Things could turn around, it could head
- 4:12Speaker 1: an the other direction. Maybe I could quit messing up.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Maybe somebody will forgive me, maybe somebody will just say
- 4:19Speaker 1: all right. I don't know, but I can't count the
- 4:23Speaker 1: times I've been in that position. But then once I
- 4:26Speaker 1: hope a little bit, and then I remember also my mother,
- 4:29Speaker 1: because she was a Sunday school teacher. She taught me
- 4:32Speaker 1: the most valuable lesson I've ever learned in my life.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Nothing has been greater in my life than my faith.
- 4:38Speaker 1: She taught me to pray. Mamma used to say, when
- 4:41Speaker 1: it get real dark for your son, prad changes things.
- 4:45Speaker 1: She said, When you seem like you lost and you
- 4:48Speaker 1: can't finding your way, stop and pray, she said, because
- 4:52Speaker 1: prad changes things. You know, when you get a point
- 4:56Speaker 1: in your life when you've done all you can do
- 4:57Speaker 1: and you can't do no more and you just don't
- 5:00Speaker 1: know what to do next, she says, stop, suh, pray
- 5:05Speaker 1: and combine that prayer with that hope that you got,
- 5:09Speaker 1: she said, because that hope is the beginning of faith.
- 5:12Speaker 1: She said. If you pray just hoping, she's saying, that
- 5:15Speaker 1: God come through for you. That will give you confidence
- 5:19Speaker 1: that he can do it again. And then after a
- 5:21Speaker 1: while you quit hoping, she's saying, you start believing. She's saying,
- 5:25Speaker 1: that's when you're on to something. If you can turn
- 5:28Speaker 1: that hope into belief, that hope into faith, the ability
- 5:33Speaker 1: to believe in something that you can't see. But the
- 5:37Speaker 1: key though the faith is you're believing in something that
- 5:40Speaker 1: you can't see. See hoping a little bit different from
- 5:44Speaker 1: me Now, I'm pretty sure, Like I say oftentimes to
- 5:47Speaker 1: tell a lot of people who can explain this thing
- 5:49Speaker 1: a lot better than I can to you, but just
- 5:52Speaker 1: from my side of it, being as real as I
- 5:54Speaker 1: can be rich. See, hope helps. Man. If you ain't
- 5:58Speaker 1: strong enough to have faith, have hope, and then if
- 6:01Speaker 1: you pray with some hope and God answers your prayer,
- 6:05Speaker 1: then that hope gains a little confidence and after a
- 6:08Speaker 1: while that confidence becomes faith. Now ain't just hoping, but
- 6:14Speaker 1: I'm believing. I'm believing in something that I cannot see.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Faith has been the key to my entire existence, even
- 6:26Speaker 1: when I didn't have any It was faith, as I
- 6:30Speaker 1: look back on it, that has gotten me here, and
- 6:33Speaker 1: not just faith, but my faith. See, you will only
- 6:38Speaker 1: get to where you're going in your life based on
- 6:42Speaker 1: your faith. See A lot of people get the word
- 6:46Speaker 1: faith confused, like what's your faith? And then they started
- 6:49Speaker 1: going down this whole list of all these different religions
- 6:52Speaker 1: out here. But really an essence, man, when I talk
- 6:55Speaker 1: to people about faith. I'm talking to you about your
- 7:00Speaker 1: your belief. How much do you believe in the unseen?
- 7:05Speaker 1: How much do you believe in the things you can't see?
- 7:09Speaker 1: How much do you believe in the impossible? How much
- 7:13Speaker 1: do you believe see? Because faith is the belief in
- 7:19Speaker 1: things that you cannot see. Faith is the core of
- 7:25Speaker 1: all that is happening to me today. It is the
- 7:28Speaker 1: faith that I have in my relationship with God that
- 7:32Speaker 1: enables me to just oftentimes, if I stay on the
- 7:37Speaker 1: right course and believe a certain way and act a
- 7:41Speaker 1: certain way, his blessings just poor. They just come. And
- 7:48Speaker 1: it comes in a lot of little ways too. I've
- 7:50Speaker 1: started to notice, see, it ain't just a lot of
- 7:53Speaker 1: people think blessings is money and now, man, that ain't it.
- 7:56Speaker 1: It's coverage. It's every time my plane and safe. It's
- 8:02Speaker 1: every time they predict bad weather and I get up
- 8:05Speaker 1: in the sky and it don't be no bad weather.
- 8:08Speaker 1: You know this, This is favor. These are blessings that
- 8:12Speaker 1: get poured out to me. Somebody call me and offer
- 8:15Speaker 1: me something, not money, but an opportunity, you know something.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Somebody say, Hey, man, I don't know, but I sent
- 8:24Speaker 1: this to you. I thought you might be interested in it.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Somebody has sent me a scripture, or somebody will send
- 8:29Speaker 1: me something that's favor, and it always comes at a
- 8:33Speaker 1: time when I need it the most. That's favor, that's
- 8:37Speaker 1: pouring out blessings. Now I'm also the recipient of a
- 8:42Speaker 1: lot of other blessings too. You know, I've been blessed
- 8:45Speaker 1: with health. That's amazing blessing. Man. I've been blessed with
- 8:50Speaker 1: a spirit of not quitting. I've been blessed with the
- 8:54Speaker 1: ability to shoulder huge amounts of responsibility. See, blessings come
- 9:00Speaker 1: a lot of ways. But once you tie into God,
- 9:05Speaker 1: once you tie in and you start doing the best
- 9:09Speaker 1: you can do, and you start asking for him to
- 9:12Speaker 1: make you a better person, to help shape and mold
- 9:15Speaker 1: you into the kind of man or person that he
- 9:19Speaker 1: wants you to be. You be amazed what God can
- 9:21Speaker 1: do with you. Man, if you just invite me in
- 9:24Speaker 1: and allow him to be a part of your life.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I mean, what you got to lose out there? Come on,
- 9:30Speaker 1: if you're sitting in the cell this morning, why why
- 9:32Speaker 1: would you not change? You have a chance to turn
- 9:36Speaker 1: your life around with a relationship with God. What you're
- 9:38Speaker 1: waiting on? Are you gonna just keep doing it like that. Huh. Really,
- 9:43Speaker 1: come on, man, why would you do that to yourself?
- 9:47Speaker 1: Why would you not allow God to be a part
- 9:49Speaker 1: of your life so you can get the way he
- 9:51Speaker 1: want you to be. God got some big plans for you.
- 9:53Speaker 1: If he didn't, you wouldn't keep waking up. You're listening ladies, gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: boys and girls, animal trainers, monkey lovers, people that's crazy
- 10:09Speaker 1: about chimpanzees, and anybody in Peter and all those people

- 14:31Speaker 1: her sixteen year old daughter's boyfriend has been spending the
- 14:34Speaker 1: night at our house. If they fall asleep watching the movies,
- 14:38Speaker 1: they sleep together on our sofa. I don't like it
- 14:41Speaker 1: one bit, but my wife says it's innocent and she

- 16:21Speaker 1: store since then. I've noticed a big change in him.
- 16:25Speaker 1: He is very conscious about what he wears out of
- 16:28Speaker 1: the house now, and he doubtses his clothes in this
- 16:31Speaker 1: new cologne he got. I usually give him cologne for Christmas,
- 16:35Speaker 1: and he's been wearing the same one for years. He

- 19:23Speaker 1: found out he had a newborn baby two weeks before
- 19:27Speaker 1: our wedding. My husband's mother told me, and I was
- 19:30Speaker 1: so hurt, but I didn't cancel the wedding. My husband
- 19:33Speaker 1: has done all he can to regain my trust, but
- 19:36Speaker 1: he won't control his mother. His mom always throws the
- 19:40Speaker 1: baby up in my face and since pictures of the baby,
- 19:43Speaker 1: saying how much the baby looks like my husband. In
- 19:47Speaker 1: due time, I'll warm up to the child, but his
- 19:50Speaker 1: mama needs to chill. He says, he's not getting into
- 19:54Speaker 1: it with his mama. Was marrying him a mistake m

- 22:00Speaker 1: and I shut the door on him. I told him
- 22:02Speaker 1: to call you. Okay, when you get through with him,
- 22:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna call him back as if I'm that man. Okay, Okay,
- 22:11Speaker 1: I'm thinking to do add on this. That's what you
- 22:14Speaker 1: call the ad. Okay, do the ad on them? All right, Okay,
- 22:20Speaker 1: we'll figure that out. I'll call you when we get through.
- 22:22Speaker 1: All right, Okay, all right, you did good, though, he'll
- 22:30Speaker 1: call you back in a minute complaining that we didn't
- 22:32Speaker 1: prank him. All right, okay, all right, God bless you,
- 22:35Speaker 1: bless all right, let's go. Hello, I'm bring me that
- 22:39Speaker 1: paperwork on Parkment three fourteen. Hello, I'm looking for David. Please,
- 22:43Speaker 1: this is David. Okay, this is Jim about it Barton
- 22:46Speaker 1: Green Apartments. Is your mother mischel? Yes, yes, sir? How
- 22:50Speaker 1: can I help you? Okay, we got a problem here now.
- 22:53Speaker 1: I'm the new general manager here and I'm just getting
- 22:55Speaker 1: this thing brought to me about your mother not playing
- 22:58Speaker 1: the Waterville or and we got to get this matter
- 23:02Speaker 1: taken in. As of right now, I've been instructed to
- 23:04Speaker 1: actually go in and get your mother and take her
- 23:06Speaker 1: completely out of the apartment building. Okay, so what tell
- 23:09Speaker 1: me what the problem is. Get to explain to me
- 23:11Speaker 1: what the situation is, sir. The situation right now is
- 23:14Speaker 1: no one that's played this water bill whatsoever. She thinks
- 23:17Speaker 1: for lying to standing that she only owes one hundred
- 23:19Speaker 1: and six dollars and she owes far more than that.
- 23:21Speaker 1: She has not paid a water bill at all. Right,
- 23:24Speaker 1: and how your mother? And I first want to tell
- 23:27Speaker 1: you your mother is very rude to me and slam
- 23:29Speaker 1: the door in my face. Okay, so so let me yeah,
- 23:32Speaker 1: let me. I'm just trying to understand the situation. So
- 23:34Speaker 1: the water bill hasn't been paid in how long? For
- 23:36Speaker 1: what I'm looking at, it's at least four or five
- 23:39Speaker 1: months on what looks like here on the paper. Okay,
- 23:42Speaker 1: so it's four or five months behind, Yes, it is, okay,
- 23:46Speaker 1: and so how much is it. I'm gonna have to
- 23:48Speaker 1: tally all this up and get everything lined up as
- 23:50Speaker 1: far as the numbers as of right now, sir. If
- 23:53Speaker 1: no one is paying this bill in the next thirty minutes,
- 23:55Speaker 1: I am instructed to put your mother out and pack
- 23:58Speaker 1: her things and put her out, and that's what I
- 24:00Speaker 1: want to do. But as rude as she was to me,
- 24:03Speaker 1: you know, at this point, I'll tell you what, baby,
- 24:05Speaker 1: I don't give a damn, sir. So I just mean
- 24:07Speaker 1: I'm just here to try to help make the situation better.
- 24:10Speaker 1: So I need you to take a deep breath for
- 24:12Speaker 1: me and calm down, because I'm I'm calm. So let's
- 24:15Speaker 1: just let you know. I'm just saying that. And how
- 24:17Speaker 1: I would be I would be calm to had your
- 24:20Speaker 1: mother not to slam the door in the face and
- 24:21Speaker 1: send some things before she shut that door. And I'll
- 24:24Speaker 1: be trying to work as calmly as you're working direct
- 24:28Speaker 1: So so what do we need to do. I won't
- 24:30Speaker 1: be able to do it within thirty minutes, But how
- 24:33Speaker 1: much is it? Just find out how much it is.
- 24:35Speaker 1: You know, from what my understanding was it was one
- 24:37Speaker 1: hundred and nine dollars or something a hundred and six
- 24:39Speaker 1: dollars for at least four months. That what the problem is? No,
- 24:42Speaker 1: what it is old right now? That one hundred and
- 24:44Speaker 1: sixty dollars, sir, is one month? How is it? How
- 24:47Speaker 1: is it? I guess my question is how does the
- 24:50Speaker 1: water bill? One hundred and six dollars or one bedroom
- 24:53Speaker 1: apartment with one person one hundred and six dollars water
- 24:56Speaker 1: bill is kind of hot, don't you think? I mean,
- 24:59Speaker 1: I don't. I don't have no idea of what your
- 25:00Speaker 1: mother's doing. I don't know it runs a lot of water,
- 25:03Speaker 1: or I have no idea about it unless she's washing
- 25:05Speaker 1: every day and running all the water every day. One
- 25:08Speaker 1: hundred and six dollars to one for an apartment is
- 25:12Speaker 1: a bit extreme. I mean, wouldn't you say so yourself?
- 25:15Speaker 1: That's a bit high, sir. I understand that you have
- 25:18Speaker 1: some issues about what the amount of the bill is.
- 25:20Speaker 1: That does not get in in the middle of the
- 25:22Speaker 1: fact of how far behind we are. That's the problem
- 25:25Speaker 1: we have. How far behind are I'm just trying to
- 25:28Speaker 1: I'm trying to resolve you. We are five months by
- 25:30Speaker 1: hot months behind. So how how much is the bill
- 25:33Speaker 1: for five months? I'm getting I'm getting her to tallly
- 25:35Speaker 1: that up as of right now. But let's get back
- 25:38Speaker 1: to the issue of someone not being able to get
- 25:39Speaker 1: here in thirty minutes. Is there no one that can
- 25:41Speaker 1: get here and take care of this bill in thirty
- 25:43Speaker 1: Let's let's think out how much it is and well,
- 25:46Speaker 1: I'll try to get that worked out. So if you
- 25:48Speaker 1: can give me kind of a tally on what it
- 25:50Speaker 1: is if I had to get tomate. I mean, let's
- 25:53Speaker 1: let's look at the fact that here it is one
- 25:54Speaker 1: hundred and six dollars on one month. You know, let's
- 25:56Speaker 1: say it's roughly a hundred buck to each month. You know,
- 25:59Speaker 1: you're looking at five hundred bucks at least. Yes, I
- 26:03Speaker 1: have to say a hundred and one hundred dollars for
- 26:05Speaker 1: us I. That's that's as true. You know. The problem
- 26:08Speaker 1: that bothers me that you people won't pay your bill.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Wait a minute, now, I need you to relax, because
- 26:13Speaker 1: I pay my bill. Well, you got a mother over
- 26:16Speaker 1: here that's apparently you must be the caretaker of and
- 26:19Speaker 1: you're not taking care of your mother for what it
- 26:21Speaker 1: seems like. What I need you to do is relaxing,
- 26:24Speaker 1: not not be accused of church. That's what I need
- 26:27Speaker 1: you to do. I need you to well, and what
- 26:29Speaker 1: I need you to do is standing up, sir and
- 26:31Speaker 1: take initiative. But whatever your responsibility is, and if you're
- 26:34Speaker 1: responsible for your mother, then you should. You should take
- 26:37Speaker 1: care of your mother. You know what you're upset right
- 26:40Speaker 1: now and you're not gonna get me upset with you
- 26:43Speaker 1: because you don't know what's going on and what do
- 26:47Speaker 1: you not care about your mother? Because it's not the case.
- 26:49Speaker 1: I can just got a phone with you right now.
- 26:51Speaker 1: My job is to get her out of the apartment
- 26:53Speaker 1: and pack her things up because the bill is not
- 26:55Speaker 1: paid and she's saying she's not paying it. To take
- 26:57Speaker 1: it up with her so that what you're trying to
- 26:59Speaker 1: do get me to be where you are. I'm not
- 27:01Speaker 1: gonna go there with you. I'm not trying to get
- 27:03Speaker 1: you to be where I am. I'm trying to get
- 27:05Speaker 1: you to take care of your mother if that your responsibility,
- 27:07Speaker 1: and if it's not, I'll leave it up to you
- 27:09Speaker 1: and I going back and forth on the phone and
- 27:11Speaker 1: you you having the attitude that you have. What what
- 27:14Speaker 1: good are they gonna do? And what is it gonna solve?
- 27:16Speaker 1: Are you somebody that sits at home and you need
- 27:18Speaker 1: to get your and get a job. What do you
- 27:20Speaker 1: need to do to get your mom taken care of
- 27:22Speaker 1: so I can get this page? And this is not
- 27:24Speaker 1: all my I'm not gonna be another angry black man
- 27:26Speaker 1: with you, sir. I have a lot more sense than that.
- 27:29Speaker 1: So what I what you're not? You're not an angry
- 27:31Speaker 1: black man. You're a lazy black man. That's the problem
- 27:33Speaker 1: with you. People? With you? People? Well, what are you people?
- 27:36Speaker 1: When all that I don't want to work? Want to
- 27:38Speaker 1: sit around check every day? When the rest I was
- 27:41Speaker 1: out here houseless and puffing out when the who who's
- 27:44Speaker 1: out busting what? I don't know? If you're you're the
- 27:47Speaker 1: manager of the department, you want to know who I am?
- 27:49Speaker 1: Yet I am nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 27:53Speaker 1: and your mother and your father. David Nahan Junior got
- 27:58Speaker 1: me to prank yo behind. I just hid him because
- 28:08Speaker 1: I'm about to get him fire. What's up? David? You
- 28:13Speaker 1: are the first celebrity kept his composure. I hate you man.
- 28:19Speaker 1: You got me, you got you gotta do this from
- 28:23Speaker 1: the David Man. Mister Brown, what is the baddest radio
- 28:27Speaker 1: show in the Lake? Steve Harvey Morning Show. I got
- 28:31Speaker 1: freaked by nephew Tom. Huh see see see David Man,
- 28:42Speaker 1: That's what that was. Praise yourself because I'm telling you,
- 28:46Speaker 1: because when you come up with just a regular name,
- 28:48Speaker 1: didn't let you know I'm a king right there? I
- 28:53Speaker 1: just see David Man. All right, thank you guys. Coming
- 28:58Speaker 1: up in the top of the hour. We'll have some
- 29:00Speaker 1: entertainment and national news for you. Right after this. You're
- 29:03Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show and entertainment news.
- 29:09Speaker 1: As we told you yesterday, Tyler Perry joined the three
- 29:12Speaker 1: Coma Club, a remarkable feat considering he was once living
- 29:16Speaker 1: in his car. Steve Harvey sounds familiar. Yes, So, Tyler's
- 29:24Speaker 1: officially a billionaire with the Bee. According to the accountants
- 29:27Speaker 1: at Forbes Magazine. They calculate his income in the last
- 29:30Speaker 1: fifteen years to be one point four billion dollars. Tyler
- 29:35Speaker 1: earns so much because check this out. Okay, he demands
- 29:39Speaker 1: to own one hundred percent of everything he writes and produces,
- 29:43Speaker 1: and he writes and produces everything. This includes twelve hundred
- 29:47Speaker 1: TV episodes, twenty two movies, and two dozen stage plays. Okay,
- 29:55Speaker 1: he opened a quarter billion dollars three hundred and thirty
- 29:58Speaker 1: acre Tyler Perry Studios Atlanta, where his TV shows are taped.
- 30:03Speaker 1: So I mean, you know, right now, I'm taking that
- 30:09Speaker 1: right now. Man, let me tell y'all something. Tyler Perry.
- 30:12Speaker 1: It's one of the smartest guys I know because I
- 30:16Speaker 1: know where it comes from. Now, I don't know all
- 30:20Speaker 1: the details, just like nobody knows all the details about anybody.
- 30:24Speaker 1: But when I tell you somebody who really really put
- 30:27Speaker 1: the work in, Tyler Perry put the work in. You
- 30:30Speaker 1: don't get to be a billionaire without some serious effort.
- 30:32Speaker 1: I can promise you that because I'm not one and
- 30:34Speaker 1: I know how hard it is for me to just
- 30:36Speaker 1: maintain this. This boy right here is one of the
- 30:40Speaker 1: coolest dudes many. If it's for information, he'll take the
- 30:46Speaker 1: time to give you information. Now, don't go over there
- 30:47Speaker 1: asking for no money. I ain't never done that, but
- 30:50Speaker 1: if you want some information. And the most advice Tyler
- 30:54Speaker 1: has ever given me has been mostly spiritual advice, mostly
- 30:59Speaker 1: you know, nice, you know when we talk. You know,
- 31:01Speaker 1: we talked mostly about you know, faith and and and
- 31:05Speaker 1: God and working hard and dreams and visions. And he's
- 31:09Speaker 1: just an extremely inspirational dude, you know. And I mean
- 31:12Speaker 1: he has survived all the tabloid mess, which once again
- 31:16Speaker 1: has taught me a lot about how to handle it
- 31:18Speaker 1: because he just keeps it moving. Man, Yeah, he keeps
- 31:21Speaker 1: it moving. Let me ask you something about you and
- 31:23Speaker 1: Tyler's relationship. Have you guys ever talked about collabing doing
- 31:27Speaker 1: something together. I got one thing I'm gonna take to
- 31:30Speaker 1: him first time ever and you'll find out. But you know,
- 31:39Speaker 1: it's like this man, I've never really I don't you know,
- 31:44Speaker 1: I'm really not other than the kings of comedy. I
- 31:48Speaker 1: never really got with people to collab. It's not that
- 31:51Speaker 1: I don't I don't want to. It's just I'm gonna
- 31:54Speaker 1: tell you the truth about this business man. It doesn't
- 31:58Speaker 1: do a lot for unity. This business is so few
- 32:03Speaker 1: parts available for African American men that very rarely can
- 32:08Speaker 1: they band together to do things unless they create. The
- 32:12Speaker 1: person who tried it and it was the most successful
- 32:15Speaker 1: for a brief time was Eddie Murphy. And he did
- 32:18Speaker 1: it because they created the rat Packer was him Arsenio,
- 32:21Speaker 1: Robert Townsend and uh, the Wands brothers and a couple
- 32:28Speaker 1: of other people. And it didn't last. But when he
- 32:32Speaker 1: did Harlem Nights, it was his way of reaching to
- 32:36Speaker 1: the great Red Fox Richard Pryor, you know. And he
- 32:44Speaker 1: got beat up for doing that. But the dude and
- 32:47Speaker 1: Eddie Murphy made a real, real mark. But this this
- 32:50Speaker 1: boy Tyler, the truth, the real truth. Yeah, great, great
- 32:55Speaker 1: guy too is yeah, all right, well, thank you. We
- 33:02Speaker 1: look forward to that. Collabo, Steve. Let's go to the
- 33:07Speaker 1: headlines now, please, ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne trop thank
- 33:12Speaker 1: you very much, everybody. Yes, and after that there was
- 33:14Speaker 1: the Blackpack, which included my friend Isaac Hayes and Denzel
- 33:18Speaker 1: Washington some others as well. This is Anne trip of
- 33:20Speaker 1: the News. Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden heads to Kenosha, Wisconsin, today,
- 33:25Speaker 1: one day after President Trump went there. Biden's reportedly scheduled
- 33:28Speaker 1: to meet with the family of Jacob Blake, the now
- 33:31Speaker 1: paralyzed young black man. He's expected to address the reason
- 33:34Speaker 1: for the continued nights of protests police brutality, and also
- 33:37Speaker 1: though to condemn the violence which he has done all along.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Donald Trump talked about the protest yesterday, but instead of
- 33:43Speaker 1: meeting with the Blake family, he met with a local
- 33:45Speaker 1: gathering of law enforcement to support them and talk about
- 33:49Speaker 1: his concept of law and order, something that Biden says
- 33:51Speaker 1: reveals more about the current occupant of the White House
- 33:54Speaker 1: than people think. He may believe Morvy and the words
- 33:57Speaker 1: law and order makes him strong, but it's failure to
- 34:01Speaker 1: call on his own supporters to stop acting as an
- 34:04Speaker 1: armed militia in this country shows how weak he is.
- 34:08Speaker 1: President Trump, meanwhile, was in North Carolina yesterday where he
- 34:11Speaker 1: declared the port city of Wilmington a World War Two
- 34:15Speaker 1: heritage city. By the way, Wilmington just shows you know
- 34:17Speaker 1: folks out there less like Tulsa, Oklahoma, was a scene
- 34:21Speaker 1: of the massacre of scores of working in middle class
- 34:23Speaker 1: blacks back in eighteen ninety eight because they were voting,
- 34:26Speaker 1: and they had a lot of positions of power, and
- 34:28Speaker 1: they worked in hand in hand with the white population
- 34:30Speaker 1: of that city. White supremacists didn't like that Wilmington went
- 34:34Speaker 1: from a prosperous, mixed race city to a majority white
- 34:36Speaker 1: one overnight. McDonald's organization is being accused of racial discrimination
- 34:41Speaker 1: against black franchisees, allegedly denying them the same opportunities that
- 34:45Speaker 1: their white counterparts get and therefore setting them up, they say,
- 34:47Speaker 1: for a failure. The complaint, filed by fifty two former
- 34:51Speaker 1: franchisees accuses McDonald's of steering black owners to less profitable locations,
- 34:56Speaker 1: often in the poorest crime written areas, and because of that,
- 35:00Speaker 1: the number of black OLM McDonald's has dropped by fifty
- 35:02Speaker 1: percent over the last twenty years. McDonald denies the accusations
- 35:05Speaker 1: and get this the late Brianna's ex boyfriend. Brianna Taylor's
- 35:09Speaker 1: ex boyfriend says that the district attorney in Louisville willing
- 35:12Speaker 1: to pay real dirty to keep free white cops from
- 35:14Speaker 1: facing charges in her murder. The ex JaMarcus Glover is
- 35:18Speaker 1: reportedly implicated in drug case, and NPR says that his
- 35:21Speaker 1: attorney says prosecutor is often of a plea deal if
- 35:24Speaker 1: he would lie and claim that Brianna Taylor, an emergency
- 35:27Speaker 1: medical technician, was actually selling drugs with him, and he
- 35:31Speaker 1: said no, that's what Attorney Scott Barton says. The client
- 35:33Speaker 1: refused to falsely implicate the dead young woman. The Rock
- 35:37Speaker 1: says he has COVID nineteen, His children, his wife, they
- 35:40Speaker 1: all have tested positive, but their whole families on the
- 35:43Speaker 1: mend and they're no longer contagious and sad news. Yeah,
- 35:47Speaker 1: we're talking legendary Mets pitcher Tom Seaver, who has died
- 35:50Speaker 1: at age seventy five. They say he died of dementia
- 35:54Speaker 1: and COVID nineteen. Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 35:57Speaker 1: You're listening to Harvey Morning Show. Today, Democratic presidential nominee
- 36:02Speaker 1: Joe Biden will travel to Kenosha, Wisconsin. He's going to
- 36:06Speaker 1: meet with the family of Jacob Blake, the black man
- 36:09Speaker 1: who was shot in the back seven times by a
- 36:11Speaker 1: white police officer in front of his three children. Citizens,
- 36:15Speaker 1: of course, were outraged and this caused protests in Kenosha.
- 36:19Speaker 1: Joe Biden will also hold a community meeting in Kenosha
- 36:23Speaker 1: to try to heal and address the social injustice challenges
- 36:27Speaker 1: we face. Biden's visit comes after Democratic Governor Tony Evers
- 36:32Speaker 1: asked President Trump not to visit, but we all know
- 36:36Speaker 1: he did it anyway, But he did it, and he
- 36:39Speaker 1: went up there to draw him up more support for
- 36:42Speaker 1: his base because what he talked about man even when
- 36:46Speaker 1: he talked about the seventeen year old to kill those
- 36:48Speaker 1: two people, he said, you know, he was trying to
- 36:52Speaker 1: be of assistant, and I mean, you know, I mean
- 36:54Speaker 1: he could have been afraid for his life. I mean,
- 36:56Speaker 1: there's a lot here we don't know. No, man, you
- 37:00Speaker 1: took a gun and you went and you killed two people. Yeah,
- 37:03Speaker 1: we saw the video. News. This right wing organization I
- 37:12Speaker 1: heard today is paying for his defense fund. Yes, I
- 37:16Speaker 1: read that. He is a real very conservative attorney and
- 37:20Speaker 1: all of that. It doesn't matter. Man, you killed somebody
- 37:24Speaker 1: people because you took a gun somewhere. To me, that's premeditated.
- 37:30Speaker 1: That's murder. One. Let's stop all this manslaughter. You took
- 37:33Speaker 1: a gun down there. You didn't have to take a
- 37:35Speaker 1: gun for what. No, man, this is wrong. He mentioned that,
- 37:40Speaker 1: and that's what he said about that, and he never
- 37:43Speaker 1: mentioned Jacob Blake, not Trump, and his idea of calming
- 37:50Speaker 1: it was, you know there's police that they choked. It happens,
- 37:54Speaker 1: they choked. Yeah, you know, I'm gonna go. It's choked.
- 37:57Speaker 1: It had gone from time to time. No, everybody kill
- 38:01Speaker 1: a black person, is they choked? Yeah? Stop, hey, y'all,
- 38:05Speaker 1: he has to go it's nowhere around this here. Yes,
- 38:09Speaker 1: so please let's send everyone to vote dot org. If
- 38:12Speaker 1: you haven't already registered, and if you haven't registered, what
- 38:15Speaker 1: are you waiting for? It only takes like two minutes.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Go to vote dot org. Please get all your early
- 38:22Speaker 1: voting information so we can be ready when it's time,
- 38:26Speaker 1: so we can mail in these ballots. Take your ballot
- 38:29Speaker 1: to the post office. Don't even play with these people,
- 38:33Speaker 1: and take a picture of it with your camera phone
- 38:35Speaker 1: so you'll have proof. Yeah, make sure you sign it
- 38:39Speaker 1: all of that, man, don't don't miss nothing. Double check,
- 38:43Speaker 1: triple check. Yeah, this is important. All right. That's vote
- 38:48Speaker 1: dot org. Okay, coming up at thirty four minutes after
- 38:51Speaker 1: the hour, we're going to switch gears. Parents, what have
- 38:53Speaker 1: you done to embarrass your kids? We'll ask Steve Harvey
- 38:58Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to Hey Steve, you know,
- 39:06Speaker 1: um Jamie Fox is returning to TV. Okay, he got
- 39:11Speaker 1: to deal with Netflix. It's a comedy inspired by his
- 39:14Speaker 1: daughter Karen Fox. It's called Dad, Stop Embarrassing Me. It
- 39:19Speaker 1: explores their relationship. It will also start David Alan Greer.
- 39:23Speaker 1: And it looks like, you know, it sounds like it's
- 39:26Speaker 1: going to be really fun because we exparents. I mean, yeah,

- 51:38Speaker 1: I'm gonna let a couple of blows get in for
- 51:40Speaker 1: our jumping, but I'm gonna make sure they touch his
- 51:43Speaker 1: ass real good though, But I'm so looking forward to that.

- 53:15Speaker 1: and gentlemen, it is that time. It's time for today's
- 53:17Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter with my good friend Shirleys Strawberry. Thank you, junior.
- 53:22Speaker 1: Subject he's louder than I am. Dear Stephen, Shirley, I
- 53:26Speaker 1: am a thirty three year old woman and I recently
- 53:29Speaker 1: started dating a twenty five year old man. The age
- 53:32Speaker 1: difference really didn't bother me at first, but I am
- 53:35Speaker 1: starting to notice that he seems to be a little
- 53:37Speaker 1: bit inexperienced when it comes to sex. The first time
- 53:40Speaker 1: we got together, there was a lot of kissing involved,
- 53:44Speaker 1: so I didn't quite notice how much noise he makes
- 53:47Speaker 1: in bed. I did notice that he was talking really dirty,
- 53:51Speaker 1: and maybe he thinks that all women are into that,
- 53:54Speaker 1: or he hasn't been with that many women. Now that
- 53:57Speaker 1: we've done it a few times, it's starting to get
- 53:59Speaker 1: at awkward and embarrassing. The other night, we tried doing
- 54:03Speaker 1: it in a few different positions, and he got louder
- 54:06Speaker 1: each time. He was moaning and cursing. Then he started
- 54:11Speaker 1: to scream my name, and I thought the neighbors were
- 54:14Speaker 1: going to think something was wrong. I should probably take
- 54:17Speaker 1: it as a compliment, but this is too over the
- 54:20Speaker 1: top to me, and I think he might be faking
- 54:23Speaker 1: or exaggerating because he thinks that's what he's supposed to do.
- 54:26Speaker 1: He got very embarrassed when I called him out on
- 54:29Speaker 1: it and said it's completely natural. I told him I
- 54:32Speaker 1: don't like to be rude or obnoxious to my neighbors,
- 54:35Speaker 1: so he needs to work on being less noisy. I
- 54:38Speaker 1: know this is a strange request because usually it's the
- 54:42Speaker 1: the women that are the most vocal during intimacy, but
- 54:45Speaker 1: this guy cannot keep it down. I have tried to
- 54:48Speaker 1: play music or I'll leave the TV on to drown
- 54:51Speaker 1: out all of his screams and curse words, but nothing works.
- 54:54Speaker 1: He's a great guy, and this is something we can
- 54:57Speaker 1: work on. I need some advice. Wow, you just got
- 55:02Speaker 1: to say something. I mean, you gotta let him know
- 55:05Speaker 1: how you feel. You said you you've talked to him before,
- 55:08Speaker 1: and he said it was natural. But I think it's
- 55:11Speaker 1: a little more serious than maybe you know you guys
- 55:14Speaker 1: think it is, or especially him. You want the sex
- 55:18Speaker 1: to be good, but you don't want it to be
- 55:20Speaker 1: annoying and embarrassing like you said, and awkward. You don't
- 55:25Speaker 1: want it to be too too loud. I guess because
- 55:28Speaker 1: of your neighbors. He's just in there, just cussing and
- 55:31Speaker 1: just hollering. Huh. Anyway, your neighbors don't need to know
- 55:35Speaker 1: all your business. They don't need to know what you're doing.
- 55:38Speaker 1: They don't need to hear all it at all the time.
- 55:40Speaker 1: I think the problem with letting him know you know
- 55:44Speaker 1: what you want is that you know you gotta be careful.
- 55:48Speaker 1: You can do it, but just don't crush the man.
- 55:51Speaker 1: Don't crush you just you know, say you're telling him
- 55:53Speaker 1: again because you know you really wanted to work out.
- 55:57Speaker 1: Like you say, this is something you guys can work on.
- 56:00Speaker 1: But just be mindful of his very fragile ego. You
- 56:03Speaker 1: know men have fragile egos. He's only twenty five, you
- 56:06Speaker 1: have eight years on him, So let him know how
- 56:10Speaker 1: you feel nicely. Hopefully he'll get the message and shut
- 56:13Speaker 1: up with all that hollering. Steve Na Shelley, that ain't
- 56:17Speaker 1: it nice? Try to give a nice answer. Wholesome family entertainment.
- 56:25Speaker 1: I got it for you, though, No, thready three year
- 56:29Speaker 1: old woman just started dating a twenty five year old
- 56:34Speaker 1: man eight years yeah, now already a man is not
- 56:41Speaker 1: fully matured at twenty five. A woman is around thirty three.
- 56:48Speaker 1: Women mature faster than me, So your eight years difference
- 56:54Speaker 1: in dog years is about twenty years dog years. These
- 56:58Speaker 1: are humans, are you? Way? Pass this board? Right here?
- 57:03Speaker 1: You thirty three, twenty five? You putting something on him.
- 57:08Speaker 1: He ain't all hey, and it is starting to show
- 57:13Speaker 1: them and he can't help it. You say the age
- 57:17Speaker 1: didn't didn't bother you, but now you didn't notice, you know,
- 57:21Speaker 1: be a little bit experienced when it come to say, man,
- 57:25Speaker 1: you know, he just don't know what you know? Now?
- 57:30Speaker 1: Is he inexperienced or you something else? Question again, is
- 57:37Speaker 1: he inexperienced? Or are you something else? Are you a
- 57:43Speaker 1: low end? The whole all? Hell? Now, she don't sound
- 57:46Speaker 1: reserved to me because first got together a lot of kissing,
- 57:49Speaker 1: so I ain't quite noticed how much noise he was
- 57:51Speaker 1: making it bad. I didn't notice that he was talking
- 57:55Speaker 1: really dirty, and maybe he thinks that's what all women into.
- 57:58Speaker 1: That he ain't been with that many women. Now I
- 58:01Speaker 1: don't know what he was saying. We'll get to that
- 58:03Speaker 1: in a minute. Oh lord, but now that we didn't
- 58:08Speaker 1: done it a few times, we just started to get
- 58:10Speaker 1: a little awkward embarrassing. Another night we tried doing it
- 58:14Speaker 1: in a few positions, and he got loud of each time.
- 58:17Speaker 1: He was mourning, Oh, oh, were switching positions? Oh, couldn't
- 58:29Speaker 1: be another trick, tricking me again? Oh, now you want
- 58:34Speaker 1: to put your knee on the nightstand while I got
- 58:38Speaker 1: my leg on the hater He nah, crazy, man, I'm
- 58:48Speaker 1: gonna do it now, he was mourning, and cousin then
- 58:51Speaker 1: he started to screaming my name, I'm share Dollie hockeyst
- 59:00Speaker 1: do it all this to me? Do me the fucus? Wow,
- 59:09Speaker 1: not all I ain't got true? Right? Yeah, all right, Look,
- 59:16Speaker 1: we'll let part two of Steve's response coming up in
- 59:19Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's subject he's a
- 59:22Speaker 1: louder than I am. We'll get back into it right
- 59:25Speaker 1: after this. You're listening Steve Morning Show. Come on, Steve,
- 59:30Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. This subject he's louder than
- 59:34Speaker 1: I am. Wow, ye old grown thirty, This grown woman
- 59:40Speaker 1: right here met a little boy, well grown man, but
- 59:43Speaker 1: he's twenty five. She ain't that putting something on it.
- 59:46Speaker 1: He never had before. She ain't noticed how much noise
- 59:50Speaker 1: he made his bed. He talking me or dirty too?
- 59:53Speaker 1: It too. I think he was costing enough too. Yeah,
- 59:57Speaker 1: but I don't want to do that because yeah, you
- 59:59Speaker 1: can't do it the air. No. But then he started
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: to scream in my name, I'm a repeat cutting name
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: for you, just the way he said it. Ah, but
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: shall do Okay, he just holled. You thought the neighbors
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: was gonna think something was wrong. I should probably take
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: it as a compliment. But this is too over the
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: top of me, and I think might be faking it.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Faking it. How you faking Holly? He hauled and cussing.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: I think he's exaggerating because he thinks that's what he's
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: supposed to do. He got very in branst what. I
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: called him out on it and said it's completely natural.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: I told him I don't like to be rude obnoxious
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: to my neighbors, so we need to work on being
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: less noisy. I noticed a strange requestion because usually it's
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: the woman that's the most vocal doing intimacy, but this
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: guy can't keep it down. I tried to play music,
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: I lead a TV on the drawing out all the
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: screams and cuts word, but ain't nothing work. He's a
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: great guy, and this is something we can work on.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: I need some advice. Well, me and Shirley gonna re
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: enact something on radio. You know it's gonna be red
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: radio version now, So Shirley, what I want you to do?
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: It's just not this is what we're doing. This is
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: actually happening in real time. They're in bed and all
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: she's trying to do is have a normal conversation. With him,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: but he ain't trying to have it just a normal
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: conversation like I'm you know, just regular conversation about how
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: to day winning anything like that. He turning it all around. Okay, yeah, hi, honey, Hi,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: Hell whoa girl? Hi? Way better than low. Come on
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: over here, you I know, getting here where I'm him.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: We both handsome. Everything I got handsome. I got a
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: hand and song for you. Come on over. He got
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: about to get gnashed? Honey? How was your day? Did
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: you have a good day? How to heir? You think
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: my day was? I was thinking about tonight the whole
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: damn day, babbing and touching and snatching and biting and chewing,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: rastling and ripping and snipping and sciding, baby lod. Really,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: let's all lights, all everything. I got everything overhill. Well
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: you're hungry, honey. I was gonna hell yeah, like a snap.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: You fitting get like a pepper road a piece with
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: intra meat over the girl. I was gonna just take
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: dare you up? How steaking potatoes in a veggie that
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: you are? You look like a steak air potato. Yeah,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: you look like a hungry man TV dinner. Come on
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: me and cut that TV off? So come batter fact,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: cut that TV off. So the neighbor game hit me.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: He did a hungry man dinner. I didn't know what
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: you wanted, my but did you just say, but that's
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: exactly what I'm looking for, some mold. But what did
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: you want for a dessert? Honey? With this, I got
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: all the dessert I need. I won't so putting back.

- 1:03:41Speaker 1: foot in my mouth? What I want to do? Girl?
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: Put your whole foot down in my nash, in myth

- 1:09:39Speaker 1: been asking for you. You got fans out there, so
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: we'll take care of them. So let's go Real Housewives
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: up Potomac. All right. So Ashley was getting ready to
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: go to Monique's house. Monique invited the ladies. You know
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: how it goes, Steve on the trip. But it was
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: to the lake house and her husband, Ashley's husband, Michael,
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: was like, you're taking the baby, right because Ashley just
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: gave birth to their son and they have a lid
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: beattie baby, and uh, Ashley was like, yeah, I'm gonna
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: take the baby but he was like babies that at
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: his age they meet their mom. So you're taking your
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: baby and taking our babies. So I didn't like the
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: way he said it nerves with that, So anyway, boom,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: there you go. So the ladies they start arriving to
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: the lake House and getting settled in and Monique okay,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: so she's an animal lover. So she has this pet bird,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, and she caused the bird to challa yes,
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: just like give get the character from No. Yes, yes
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: that's the name of the bird. Yes, Junior. Anyway, the
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: ladies don't understand what's up with Monique and taking this
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: bird everywhere. The bird is getting on their nerves. So
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: they're at the lake house, they're getting settled in. There's
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: a new housewife. Her name is Wendy, and so Wendy arrived.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: She's upset that Ashley brought her baby on the girl's
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: trip to the lake House because Wendy just had a
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: baby girl too, so she was going in on that,
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: Well why did you bring your baby? I could have
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: bought my baby. It was all of this, and the
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: ladies on the show was like, look, Wendy, this is
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: your third child. This is her first child. She's a
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: new mom. Let I have that, Let I have that moment. Anyway,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: she was going in. Wendy was saying she wants to
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: get to know the ladies on a deeper level. And
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: when she said deeper level, this bird took off and
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: attacked hers. I don't know if it was oh, okay,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: just bird when I'm talking about attacked her. It was hilarious.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: It was when she said the word, I want to
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: get to know y'all on a deeper level, the bird

- 1:13:57Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. What's going on in COVID
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: nineteen trending medical news. Well, doctor Fauci said, be a
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: part of the solution and not the problem. This Labor
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: Day weekend, this would set the tone for the outbreak
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: for the fall. Don't forget the fall is coming. It
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: also appears that new cases and positivity rates are now
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: surging in the Midwest, like Iowa. Also, the CDC is
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: telling states to prepare for a Corona virus vaccine distribution
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: as soon as late October or early November. I even
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: heard on election day they wanted out okay, yeah, yeah,
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: every giving you everything to do but vote. The CDC,
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: it seems like they are being pushed to change things,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: change their recommendations, move up deadlines. I don't know a yeah,
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: that guy uh huh, that he had picked and put
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: in charge of the CDC. That's what I think, if
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: I'm not mistaken. Yeah, even the Coronavirus Task Force, I mean,
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: you don't hear hardly anything from them anymore. They used
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: to update us every single day, you know, but now
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: you hardly hear anything. And it seems like there's a
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: problem with doctor Fauci. Five thousand people or have died
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: from this disease. How do you feel like you shouldn't
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: be updating? Right? And over six million people have it?
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: All Right, We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: Show and more trending stories at thirty three minutes after
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: the hour. Right after this, you're listening to show Time
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: Now for ask the CLLO. All you have to do

- 1:15:57Speaker 1: All right? Calvin and Seattle said, I'm a forty seven
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: year old married man and I have a blended family
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: with my wife. She's Caucasian and I'm African Americans. My
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: children are both in college, but her two teenagers live
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: with us. We've never had the same parenting style, so
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: I just bite my tongue and overlook a lot because
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: I know both her children live with them. My children
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: are both in college, but her two teenagers live with them. Okay, okay,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: we've never had the same parenting style, so I just
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: bite my tongue and overlook a lot because I know
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: the children will be out of the house soon. But
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: over the past three weeks, her sixteen year old daughter's
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: boyfriend has been spending the night at our house. If
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: they fall asleep watching the movies, they sleep together on
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: our sofa. I don't like it one bit, but my
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: wife says it's innocent and she did it when she
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: was a teenager. Should I let it go or put
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: my foot down? No walker in the wake kis as something.
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: Say hey, loo, man, it's time for you to move on. Yeah,
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: I don't care what the wife said. It might be innocent.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: Get your innocent as something. Go home, different parentings. This
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: ain't about parenting. This boy ain't changed your child. Wake up,
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: my man, Wake up. You got to go home. Talk
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: about that. You can't spend the night in my house.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: You're not married. I don't care about this. Bye where
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: your parents at? Because I'm not sleeping with this boy
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: in my house. I don't know him all right, So
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: the dad should go wake him up. I don't care who.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: You're not falling asleep over here, partner, Let's go. Let's
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: move home, because it's okay with the mom, so the monitor.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: I was in college and used to fall asleep over
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: my girlfriend's house. Dog. I had to go home. I
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: had to go home. Yeah yeah, and we was dating
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: heavy in college, but we was both in Cleveland. I
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: couldn't spend night in her house. You got to go,
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: my man. Whatever y'all doing in college, that's on y'all.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: But when you come here you gotta respect my house.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: That's okay, all right? Moving on Cello Sue and Columbus.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: Georgia says, I've been married for almost forty years, and
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: I think my husband is cheating. We're both retired, but
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: he's been helping out his friend that owns a hardware
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: story since then. I've noticed a big change in him.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: He is very conscious about what he wears out of
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: the house now, and he doubtses his clothes in this
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: new cologne he got. I usually give him cologne for Christmas,
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: and he's been wearing the same one for years. He
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: told me his buddy at the job gave it to him.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: I didn't press the press the issue, but I am
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: worried that there's another woman in the picture. Do you
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: think he's cheating? Well, first of all, let's start with
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: this cologne. You get him married Christmas? He don't. Won't
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: it no more? You won't try somebody answers. People get
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: sick of group coming up into our last break of
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: the day, last break of the day, and coming up
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: in forty nine minutes after some closing remarks from the
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: to all right, two months exactly sixty days left until
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: November third. Go to vote dot org to get registered.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: Takes about two minutes or so. Plus you can get
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: your information at early voting in your state. Just what
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: you need to do, what you need to bring, all
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: of that, if anything, Just be prepared. We want you
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: to be prepared so you can vote and vote early.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: All right. That is vote dot org, Vote dot org.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: That's where you need to go. That's what you need
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: to know. M Yeah, I'm getting excited about voting too.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: You know, let's go ahead and do it and let
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: the chips fall where they may. Well. I think your
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: parents should all be excited about voting. I think this
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: is the election where we could really really prove a point.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: This is the election where we can make ourselves known
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: as a powerhouse voting block. This is the election where
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: we can take credit for his direction. Let me give
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: you an example. Joe Biden was not doing well in
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: the primaries until congressmen, senator, until he got in there
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: and got everybody out to the polls in South Carolina.
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: It resurrected Joe Biden's campaign and it's been that way
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: every since. Everybody is trying to win the black vote.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Look at Donald Trump's Republican National Convention that was televised.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: Have you ever seen that many black people around Donald
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: Trump anywhere? No? Ever, the five of people that they
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: sworn in as United States citizens, he don't even like
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: Africa or Haiti swam them in welcoming them to the country.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: He doesn't already said how he felt about them two countries. Man,
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: This dude was so obviously trying to attract the black vote.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: We have got to understand that our vote is attractive
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: to everybody, So we should start wielding that vote like
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: it is the power block that it is. We can
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: control what happens in November. If we show up at
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: the polls, we get to say what we won't tolerate anymore.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: If you don't like the divisiveness in this country, you
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: can vote to do something about it. If you are
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: sick of our president not ever mentioning black lives matter,
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: only blue lives matter. That's sad statement to man, because
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: you know, listen, I'm okay with that. Being a lot
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: of great policemen and women out there, I get it,
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: and it is. It's a lot of bad ones. It's
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: not a few it's a lot of bad ones. It's
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: not only the ones that pull the trips or choke
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: the people out or sit on their necks. It's the
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: ones that's right there with them and let it go
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: down and then collaborate when it's time to fill out
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: the police report, to come up with some other type
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: of incriminating evidence to make it sound like this person's
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: Do you know that they have Jacob Blake who is
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: paralyzed from these seven shots in the back. Do you
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: know that they have him a handcuffed to a bed
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: because it is to insinuate that he has broken a
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: law and he is a criminal. So as they put
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: their story together in Connosha, Wisconsin, that's why he's handcuffed
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: to the bed. That don't make no sense, man, that's
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: inhumane treatment. The man is paralyzed by no action of
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: his own, and we got a president that won't admit
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: to that that. We have a president that condoned this
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: seventeen year old boy taking a rifle and killing two
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: people because he said, you know, it's being said, he
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: could have feared for his life. There's a lot to
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: be learned there. No, man, he took a rifle and
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: he killed two people. It's nothing else to learn. Do
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: you know the Attorney general in the state of Kentucky
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: who will not prosecute or bring charges against the police
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: officers that killed Brianna Taylor? Do you know that he
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: spoke at the Republican National Convention. Do you know that
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: he's a thirty three year old black dude and he
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: keeps saying everything he can to talk about where still
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: under the investigation. What you went into a woman's house
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: with a no knock ward looking for a person who
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: was already incarcentrating, You open fire and you kill this girl.
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: All you have to do is take all the firearms
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: from all the police officers that check their guns out
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: that night, shoot their guns into a barrel, take all
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: of the shells in the walls and in the body,
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: all of the bullets, and comparing to the score marks
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: that's on the barrel at all the guns, and you
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: know exactly who shot the woman, and you know who
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: exactly who shot into the wall. It's that's basic, man.
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: But this black dude who was sitting up their praising
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: Trump won't do it. And he's black and he's thirty three.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: He is just a much a part of systemic racism
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: in this country than former slave owners. I'm sorry, man,
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: we got a lot of stake this election right here.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: We got a lot of reasons to vote. I'm gonna
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: keep trying to find new ways to employ and empower
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: everybody to vote. But we got to vote. I'm calling
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: my sisters, man, I'm gonna make sure to mine that
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: my two sisters and brothers got they because they're old. Now,
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna make sure they got their ballots in and
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: they get their vote in. Make sure that the people
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: in your family is voting. Y'all got good sense, man,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: don't let this go down. It's easy. Go to vote
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: dot org. Vote dot org and you can get everybody
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: registered in a couple of minutes. Man. You can get
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: your ballots into your house, you can mail your vote in,
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: you can go down and early vote to beat the crowds.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: But if you end up waiting until November four, we're
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: going to them damn poles anyway. Cannot let this man
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: have four more years of destroying this country that we built.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: And we're gonna make this constitution be ours if it's
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: the last thing we do, like it or not. For all.
