- 2:12Speaker 1: got radio still, Steve Harvey got a radio or show.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Sometimes when I chuckle like that reminds me of my
- 2:20Speaker 1: oldest brother to pass the where he used to laugh
- 2:22Speaker 1: like that. It's kind of funny how jeans get passed
- 2:25Speaker 1: down through the line. I don't know why I told
- 2:27Speaker 1: y'all that, just sot to share with you. That's all.
- 2:30Speaker 1: As always, always kind of ask God to help me,
- 2:33Speaker 1: you know, um and and and and I had I
- 2:37Speaker 1: had gotten off track a little bit because one of
- 2:41Speaker 1: the principles of success I want to share with you
- 2:44Speaker 1: all today is a law of attraction. And that is
- 2:47Speaker 1: a very very serious principle. It cannot be ignored the
- 2:53Speaker 1: law of attraction. And I'm not going to be able
- 2:57Speaker 1: to explain it to you as well as the book
- 3:00Speaker 1: Secrets can, or as well as some people. I can
- 3:03Speaker 1: only articulate it to you the way that I see it.
- 3:08Speaker 1: The law of attraction is very, very real. The law
- 3:12Speaker 1: of attraction is a principle of success. It is something
- 3:16Speaker 1: that everyone has to adhere to. Now, whether you know
- 3:21Speaker 1: the law of attraction or not, it does not make
- 3:25Speaker 1: it not exists for you. This is the case where
- 3:30Speaker 1: ignorance is not the excuse. The fact that no one
- 3:34Speaker 1: told it to you. There is no pass for this one.
- 3:39Speaker 1: The fact that you never heard it before it does
- 3:43Speaker 1: not allow you to do it any other way. So
- 3:46Speaker 1: let me see if I can put it to you
- 3:49Speaker 1: best I can. The law of attraction, the law of attraction,
- 3:53Speaker 1: to put it real simple, is the thing that you
- 3:57Speaker 1: focus on, the thing that you talk about, the thing
- 4:02Speaker 1: that you think of, is the thing that you draw
- 4:05Speaker 1: to you. It's what you attract to you. That's basically
- 4:09Speaker 1: the law of attraction. The thing that you talk about,
- 4:13Speaker 1: the thing that you think about, the thing that you
- 4:17Speaker 1: focus on, whatever it is that is what you attract.
- 4:23Speaker 1: The law of attraction does not differentiate from positive and negative.
- 4:31Speaker 1: It only does what it does. What I am saying
- 4:36Speaker 1: is this in the law of attraction, no matter what
- 4:41Speaker 1: you think of, no matter what occupies your time, no
- 4:46Speaker 1: matter what you say, or no matter what the focus is,
- 4:50Speaker 1: positive or negative, the law of attraction knows neither one.
- 4:53Speaker 1: It just attracts it. So let's use some examples here.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I can just your best example. Always uses me that way.
- 5:03Speaker 1: I ain't got to figure out nothing. I can just
- 5:05Speaker 1: tell you my side of it. I was in a
- 5:08Speaker 1: lot of debt one time in my life, as before
- 5:12Speaker 1: any of you knew me, so you can understand. In
- 5:16Speaker 1: case you're not think I don't. I don't want you
- 5:20Speaker 1: to think that this conversation is about your income level,
- 5:23Speaker 1: cause it's not. It doesn't matter what the income level
- 5:26Speaker 1: you are. The law of attraction works in all aspects money, family, relationships, job, career, love.
- 5:34Speaker 1: It just works that way. Okay, here's the deal. I
- 5:37Speaker 1: kept saying, man, this debt is killing me. I got
- 5:41Speaker 1: to get out. That's what I thought was a good goal,
- 5:46Speaker 1: to get out of debt. But what I kept saying was,
- 5:50Speaker 1: you know, I kept talking about debt and you know
- 5:53Speaker 1: what it kept doing. It kept attracting debt to me.
- 5:58Speaker 1: So guess what I could get out? That's all? Is
- 6:03Speaker 1: that crazy? That is an amazing law to understand. What
- 6:08Speaker 1: turned it around for me was I started claiming a
- 6:14Speaker 1: life of abundance. God, I am seeking a life of abundance.
- 6:20Speaker 1: I want to have more than enough. I want to
- 6:24Speaker 1: be able to help other people. I just want to
- 6:27Speaker 1: have a law of attraction so that I be able
- 6:30Speaker 1: to provide my family the lifestyle that I want to
- 6:32Speaker 1: provide them. I want heavily, father, to be able to
- 6:36Speaker 1: be an example of your goodness and your grace in
- 6:40Speaker 1: my life. That is what I started saying. And guess what,
- 6:45Speaker 1: that's what I started attractive. I'm going to have a
- 6:49Speaker 1: great relationship with my children. I'm going to be the
- 6:52Speaker 1: father that I always wanted to be. I'm going to
- 6:56Speaker 1: be a good father. I'm going to be a good husband.
- 7:00Speaker 1: But now I am going to do the right things.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I am going to be the type of example that
- 7:06Speaker 1: my sons can look no further and go. I can
- 7:09Speaker 1: be like my dad. I want to be able to
- 7:11Speaker 1: be a place, a beacon of light and hope for
- 7:14Speaker 1: my daughters to come to that's what I started saying.
- 7:18Speaker 1: That's what I started attracting to my life. The law
- 7:22Speaker 1: of attraction does not care if you want it to
- 7:26Speaker 1: be positive or negative. The law of attraction just attracts
- 7:32Speaker 1: whatever it is. You focus on, what you think about,
- 7:36Speaker 1: the words that come out your mouth. You cannot overlook
- 7:40Speaker 1: this principle of success and expect to make it because
- 7:44Speaker 1: of the fact that you've never heard of the law
- 7:46Speaker 1: of attraction, because of the fact that you don't know
- 7:49Speaker 1: how it really operates. It does not make it not
- 7:53Speaker 1: exist in your day. You can start today attracting the
- 7:59Speaker 1: right things to your life by changing what you say,
- 8:05Speaker 1: what you think, what you focus on. Change the focus,
- 8:12Speaker 1: change the thought, change the words that come out your mouth,
- 8:17Speaker 1: and guess what you change what you attract to yourself.
- 8:22Speaker 1: You have got to ask yourself, why is it? Man? Man,
- 8:26Speaker 1: let me tell you something. Somebody said the Bishop Jake's
- 8:28Speaker 1: one time. They said, man, everything you touch turns to gold.
- 8:34Speaker 1: He said, no, I just don't touch everything. Man, This
- 8:39Speaker 1: it's crazy. Come on, man, he has a focus. He
- 8:44Speaker 1: has a focus. See, he ain't just everywhere. Bring me
- 8:48Speaker 1: any idea, let me try that. No, no, no, man,
- 8:51Speaker 1: he has a focus. He has a law of attraction
- 8:55Speaker 1: that's working, where he's attracting things to his life that
- 8:59Speaker 1: that's positive that he can't ask not to say, Bishop James,
- 9:03Speaker 1: don't have problems because we talk often and man, he
- 9:06Speaker 1: have them. Oh please understand. And he not trying to
- 9:09Speaker 1: attract the problems. But what he will attract is the
- 9:13Speaker 1: proper solution for the problem. And ain't that all you need? Sometimes?
- 9:18Speaker 1: God did not say that it would be easy. He
- 9:22Speaker 1: just said he would be with you. And if God
- 9:25Speaker 1: is with you, who can be against you? God will
- 9:28Speaker 1: make your enemies your footstool. God is powerful man, His
- 9:32Speaker 1: word is true. He do what he say he gonna do. Now,
- 9:35Speaker 1: all we got to do is do some of what
- 9:38Speaker 1: we say. We ain't gonna do everything, just do some
- 9:40Speaker 1: of what we say. Okay, here's a deal. God is
- 9:43Speaker 1: going to do everything he say he gonna to you,
- 9:47Speaker 1: and I just got to do some of the stuff
- 9:49Speaker 1: we say we're gonna do because he already know we
- 9:51Speaker 1: ain't gonna do all of them. He clear on that.
- 9:54Speaker 1: He clear on that. All right, thank you you're listening. Show,
- 10:02Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, Undivided attention is all that's required to
- 10:06Speaker 1: hear nothing more. Uh, just not necessary to have good sense. Uh,
- 10:11Speaker 1: it's not necessary to have common sense. Uh. Degrees are
- 10:16Speaker 1: not needed. Um, anything of any value. You just don't
- 10:21Speaker 1: need it. Just just need you listening. Because this is
- 10:26Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We need you to be
- 10:29Speaker 1: open minded and receptive to the foolishness that's about to
- 10:34Speaker 1: go down. Ladies and gentlemen. This is thus Steve Harvey
- 10:39Speaker 1: Morning Show. Make no mistake about it. Ain't no other
- 10:43Speaker 1: one batter than this hill. Let's get the stakes out.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Shirley Strong, Hey, good morning, Steve. Kick it on over
- 10:49Speaker 1: the caller for real. Good morning, Steve. Hey, Chris, bring
- 10:53Speaker 1: it on in to the impressionable care Junior spaces morning. Uncle,
- 10:58Speaker 1: I'm here and the king of foolishness, Ladies and gentlemen, Nephew, Tommy,
- 11:04Speaker 1: I love it. I love it, but no, that's how
- 11:18Speaker 1: you started. I love it. Let's go kick this morning.
- 11:23Speaker 1: All Yeah? Yeah, everything good? Yeah? How about with you?
- 11:29Speaker 1: How are you selling? I feel pretty good? Man? Feel
- 11:31Speaker 1: pretty good? Um, I'm just like really really fine. You know. No,
- 11:38Speaker 1: I was just trying to think of how to describe it.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Let me ask you something, man, how often you count
- 11:44Speaker 1: your money though, like once a week once they're a
- 11:47Speaker 1: two weeks. Now you go look at it and look
- 11:49Speaker 1: at your zero? Did you get what he said, Tommy,
- 11:52Speaker 1: I don't ever do that. You don't never go look
- 11:54Speaker 1: at like when you first okay, Greg, when you first
- 11:58Speaker 1: got it, you go look at it. Well, when is
- 12:01Speaker 1: it that it'll be where you can go see it
- 12:04Speaker 1: viewing at least online? You know, you go pull up
- 12:06Speaker 1: your bank act. Oh, I thought you meant like look
- 12:09Speaker 1: at the actual money. Yeah, just put it up to
- 12:13Speaker 1: say okay, no, I look at my bank accounts. You know. Well,
- 12:18Speaker 1: do you ever call down and say I want one
- 12:20Speaker 1: out bank right now? At the nay, I'm just playing.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Well if you do, if you threaten me, I've done
- 12:25Speaker 1: that before. If you threaten oh yeah, if you talk
- 12:28Speaker 1: to me crazy, yeah, yeah, I throw you into something
- 12:33Speaker 1: I want get too? How many it brings trucks? Is
- 12:36Speaker 1: that ain't gonna take on that. I ain't never really
- 12:42Speaker 1: had to do it to set once and I ain't
- 12:44Speaker 1: had that much, but I had enough down there to
- 12:46Speaker 1: be effective. So bank talk to me crazy one time? Yeah,
- 12:51Speaker 1: I just said, all right, no problem, just let me
- 12:53Speaker 1: have my money. You gotta have talk to him. Matter,
- 12:56Speaker 1: let me talk to him, so I'll be down in
- 12:58Speaker 1: all two thirty It all in cash. There's about six
- 13:02Speaker 1: people in my house that evening. I'm trying to get
- 13:05Speaker 1: this together. Who said something to him? We're straightening us
- 13:10Speaker 1: out right on. Who the hills? The former employee here,
- 13:19Speaker 1: who made this mistake? I said it correctly, the former
- 13:25Speaker 1: employee here. Because you're done, all right, listen, Yeah, coming
- 13:30Speaker 1: up at thirty two after the hour, the CLLO, Steve,
- 13:35Speaker 1: everybody get out to wait. I might not allow advice,
- 13:38Speaker 1: you won't. Everybody stay back. That's the CLO coming up
- 13:42Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to Stry Morning show time
- 13:47Speaker 1: now for the Chief Love Officer. The CLLO answering your questions, ready,
- 13:52Speaker 1: Steve Reddy. This one is from Marissa from Greenville, Mississippi.
- 14:00Speaker 1: She says, I am twenty eight years old and I
- 14:02Speaker 1: have a twenty nine year old boyfriend that just might
- 14:06Speaker 1: be the perfect man for me if his breath wasn't
- 14:11Speaker 1: so foul. She said, I prayed for a good man,
- 14:16Speaker 1: and I believe this is who God sent me. But
- 14:20Speaker 1: God forgot to fix his bad breath first. Is this
- 14:23Speaker 1: an easy fix? And if so, how do I tell
- 14:27Speaker 1: him without ruining his ego, well, you're gonna have to
- 14:31Speaker 1: hurt him now. There ain't no soft way to be.
- 14:34Speaker 1: You got bad breath, you know, it really is really
- 14:37Speaker 1: not He's gonna take a hit, but it. I don't
- 14:41Speaker 1: know how long you've been dating me, but this is
- 14:44Speaker 1: something where you can just say, hey, look, I really
- 14:47Speaker 1: really care for you. Oh my god, I think you're
- 14:49Speaker 1: absolutely fabulous. But I want you to just think about something.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Your breath is a little strong. Just use the word strong.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Don't say stink monkey ass, smell like hot garbage. Don't
- 15:02Speaker 1: be in there, you know, talking about you know, no mouse,
- 15:06Speaker 1: smell like you know, like out do you know out house?
- 15:11Speaker 1: Don't I say I've told some people like that. Hey man, hey, hey,
- 15:18Speaker 1: your breath smell like a sewage pipe. You don't have
- 15:21Speaker 1: to go there. So what you want to do is
- 15:23Speaker 1: you want to say, listen to me, sweetie, I really
- 15:25Speaker 1: care about you, and I love you a lot. I
- 15:27Speaker 1: think you're a fabulous guy. I don't know if anybody's
- 15:30Speaker 1: ever told you this, but your breath is a little strong.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Now do do you do you want me to help
- 15:36Speaker 1: you make a dent disappointment? Because if you. You gotta
- 15:40Speaker 1: get this corrected out because your career, your job. I
- 15:44Speaker 1: don't want anything to happen to you, because people may
- 15:46Speaker 1: be talking about you behind your back. As anybody ever
- 15:49Speaker 1: said this to you, Well, now anybody said it to me. Okay,
- 15:51Speaker 1: Well I'm saying it to you because I care about you,
- 15:54Speaker 1: and that's the only way you have to be. He's
- 15:56Speaker 1: a man, he'll be Okay, his ego gonna be a
- 15:59Speaker 1: little bit brute, but his ass gonna get up in
- 16:01Speaker 1: there and start testing himself. A lot of guys, so
- 16:04Speaker 1: most people got bad breath. They don't even know it. Yeah,
- 16:06Speaker 1: I ain't. Nobody got up close enough to tell him,
- 16:09Speaker 1: well you can't. I can't say nothing to him because
- 16:11Speaker 1: most people what you're supposed to do. Then if he realized,
- 16:16Speaker 1: I hold on, whoa, whoa, I care about you. I
- 16:20Speaker 1: didn't tell you this to start a fight on an argument.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I told you this to bring us closer together. I
- 16:25Speaker 1: want to be closer to you, and I don't want
- 16:28Speaker 1: nothing coming between us. Right now, what's wrong with my breath?
- 16:33Speaker 1: See you know what you're gonna do now? Baby, baby, baby,
- 16:38Speaker 1: how I'll stop with all them ws, all them Peace signds,
- 16:42Speaker 1: and you're gonna stop all that pushing out? Why I
- 16:48Speaker 1: got to stop? Why because look at my eyebrows. You
- 16:52Speaker 1: see him in my hands. I want him own my face. Okay, Sherley,
- 16:57Speaker 1: next question, All right, all right, this is from Dantes
- 17:02Speaker 1: from Waco, Texas. Says yeah, Dantes, Right, Uncle Steve. I
- 17:07Speaker 1: loaned a young lady I was dating one thousand dollars
- 17:10Speaker 1: about six months ago to help her pay some bills,
- 17:12Speaker 1: and she promised to pay me back. I broke up
- 17:15Speaker 1: with her last month because she is trifling and planning
- 17:19Speaker 1: a trip to Florida with her girls for spring break,
- 17:21Speaker 1: knowing she still owes me money. What kind of advice
- 17:25Speaker 1: can you give me so I can get my money
- 17:27Speaker 1: from this woman? Well, listen to this now. The key
- 17:30Speaker 1: word in this sentence Dantes. What's his name? Yeah, Dantes, Dantes,
- 17:37Speaker 1: you said she's trifling. Now, you tried to help the
- 17:40Speaker 1: woman out by giving her some money for her bills.
- 17:43Speaker 1: She said she'd pay you back, but she didn't already
- 17:46Speaker 1: went on spring break with some friends. She's not gonna
- 17:48Speaker 1: pay you back. Now, you can spend a lot of
- 17:51Speaker 1: time going after this girl and burn a lot of
- 17:55Speaker 1: energy up. All you can do like I do when
- 17:58Speaker 1: people owe me money, I buy them out of my
- 18:01Speaker 1: life and sometimes you just have to purchase them away
- 18:05Speaker 1: from you. Ain't no lesson like a bought lesson, and
- 18:08Speaker 1: you've paid for this lesson first of all, that's right,
- 18:11Speaker 1: and you've you've given somebody some money who you should
- 18:15Speaker 1: not have trusted. Or now, let's be real to Dante's
- 18:21Speaker 1: you gave her money because you was on it. Yes, sir,
- 18:25Speaker 1: you gave her money because you were sleeping with her. Yeah,
- 18:28Speaker 1: that's why I do it. Yeah, that's why you gave
- 18:32Speaker 1: her money. Yeah, yeah, yeah, not real, young junior, old Tom.
- 18:39Speaker 1: That's that's why. Because you were sleeping with him, and
- 18:43Speaker 1: that's why you gave her the money. Now you're not
- 18:45Speaker 1: sleeping with her back and you want the money, but
- 18:47Speaker 1: if you were still sleeping with her, you wouldn't be
- 18:49Speaker 1: sweating about the money. Let's just have this conversation. So
- 18:53Speaker 1: now it's over. Write it off, lost column, don't do
- 18:58Speaker 1: it again. But you're gonna spend a lot of energy
- 19:00Speaker 1: chasing person that you can't track down for money, because
- 19:03Speaker 1: all you got a small claims court and then you
- 19:06Speaker 1: got to have paperwork something that says she was gonna
- 19:09Speaker 1: pay you back that old I promised to pay you back,
- 19:12Speaker 1: as he says, she said, I thought he gave it
- 19:14Speaker 1: to me since we were sleeping together. You don't want
- 19:16Speaker 1: that to be said in court. Okay, let it go done,
- 19:19Speaker 1: all right, all right, Steve, This is from Douglas from Salisbury, Maryland.
- 19:24Speaker 1: It says I'm a twenty five year old man and
- 19:26Speaker 1: my girlfriend's fifteen years older than me. Our relationship is amazing,
- 19:30Speaker 1: except for one problem. My girlfriend's daughter wants me. She
- 19:35Speaker 1: is twenty one years old and she's gorgeous. When I'm
- 19:38Speaker 1: over at the house, she will flirt and or flash
- 19:41Speaker 1: her breasts at me when her mom isn't around. I'm
- 19:44Speaker 1: getting more and more attempted to see what's up with
- 19:46Speaker 1: my girlfriend's daughter. How can I get this girl to
- 19:49Speaker 1: leave me alone? Steve? Okay, first of all, sir, let's
- 19:52Speaker 1: have a real conversation. You didn't write this letter to
- 19:55Speaker 1: find out how to leave her alone. Because you said
- 19:58Speaker 1: you're getting more and more attempted to see what's up
- 20:00Speaker 1: with this girl. You said your your relationship is amazing.
- 20:04Speaker 1: You don't really mean that there's something wrong with it.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Because this twenty one year old girl is tempting it,
- 20:10Speaker 1: and the twenty one year old girl don't care for
- 20:12Speaker 1: the relationship. And as her mama, she trifling. If you
- 20:15Speaker 1: go with her, you're going with a trifling person. But
- 20:21Speaker 1: you tempted because you ain't really sold on your mamma.
- 20:24Speaker 1: You said it's amazing, but it really ain't go. Good
- 20:28Speaker 1: luck Pardner, all right, you can lie to everybody, but
- 20:32Speaker 1: you can't lie to Uncle Steve. Good to see HARVEYFM
- 20:36Speaker 1: dot com and submit your questions for the clo coming
- 20:40Speaker 1: up next. It is the nephew in the building with
- 20:42Speaker 1: run that prank back right after this. You're listening right now,
- 20:49Speaker 1: It is time for the nephew to run that prank back.
- 20:51Speaker 1: What you got for is nev. Your wife is fine
- 20:54Speaker 1: as here it's crazy God, your wife fine? Is hey? Yeah? Yeah?
- 21:11Speaker 1: One more team your wife find it? He running? Hello. Hello,
- 21:20Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Daryl. Yeah, this is Darrel hor

- 21:34Speaker 1: we're putting together a big, bigg event man with vodka
- 21:41Speaker 1: and they're throwing They're throwing a huge pool party. And

- 27:44Speaker 1: This is the perfect to twenty twenty. I won't see twenty.
- 27:48Speaker 1: That brings me to another question. Since we just finished,
- 27:51Speaker 1: asked Steve not too longer? Can I just ask you
- 27:54Speaker 1: one question? How long should you date somebody before you
- 27:57Speaker 1: meet the spile? Wait? What stupid, I'm gonna do that

- 28:57Speaker 1: sentence off and then I stopped unking. You feel you feel,
- 29:00Speaker 1: Linda blank? All right? All right, I'm ready. I spend
- 29:03Speaker 1: way too much money on my wife that you were
- 29:11Speaker 1: gonna say that, I mean, how you really feel? All right?
- 29:15Speaker 1: All right on here go. The sex was going great

- 29:51Speaker 1: wedding is taps. Yeah, pimp like funeral. That's your last
- 30:14Speaker 1: day of freedom home, Oh my god, the beginning of
- 30:18Speaker 1: the great thing. When y'all ass ain't know what tapping? No,
- 30:24Speaker 1: I not know. Just because we work together don't mean
- 30:31Speaker 1: we posted to eat lunch at the same time. What what?
- 30:39Speaker 1: What does that mean? That's because we were together. Don't
- 30:41Speaker 1: mean we can't take lunch at the same time. I
- 30:43Speaker 1: want to eat with you. I just work with you.

- 31:09Speaker 1: last one. I wish I could slap the hell out
- 31:12Speaker 1: of Donald Trump. Good answer, Sirday says, good answer. Just
- 31:21Speaker 1: reached back. Come on, tell me I know you got

- 31:36Speaker 1: of all Kelly. Yeah, several times. I wish I could
- 31:43Speaker 1: slap the hell out of If I could go back
- 31:47Speaker 1: in time in my life, I would go back to
- 31:51Speaker 1: the day I first got money. What was that special
- 31:55Speaker 1: about that day I finally got some after all your
- 32:00Speaker 1: work and being homeless and all of that. Other than that,
- 32:02Speaker 1: I ain't going back to none of that hour. What
- 32:07Speaker 1: was the first time you bought Steve a lot of shoes?
- 32:13Speaker 1: I was in Shoptown mall in huge. Yes, yes, I
- 32:18Speaker 1: bought full pair of gators at one time. How much

- 32:33Speaker 1: Dretched out that I had about three thousand dollar work
- 32:36Speaker 1: for shoes right there? That's what that's what you know?
- 32:40Speaker 1: You had money on three thousand dollars working shoes. You
- 32:44Speaker 1: couldn't talk to me and five the next show. All right, Steve,
- 32:51Speaker 1: let's get to the news, ladies and gentlemen, Miss Anne
- 32:54Speaker 1: trip Okay, thank you very much everybody, and good morning.
- 32:58Speaker 1: This is an trip of the news. Contrary to a
- 33:01Speaker 1: recent New York Times article and the Associated Press, the
- 33:04Speaker 1: White House is claiming that President Trump had not been
- 33:07Speaker 1: briefed on intelligence reports had said that Russia was paying
- 33:10Speaker 1: a bounty to Taliban militants to attack US forces in Afghanistan.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Both Democrats as well as Republicans on Capitol Hill demanding answers.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Republicans were briefed at the White House yesterday, Democrats supposedly today.
- 33:23Speaker 1: White House Press Secretary Keiley Mcanenny insists the president knows nothing.
- 33:27Speaker 1: There is no consensus within the intelligence community on these allegations,
- 33:31Speaker 1: and in effect, there are dissenting opinions from some in
- 33:35Speaker 1: the intelligence community with regards to the veracity of what's
- 33:38Speaker 1: being reported. In the veracity of the underlying allegations continued
- 33:42Speaker 1: to be evaluated. Well asked whether the information might have
- 33:45Speaker 1: been included in President's daily intelligence report, which all presidents
- 33:49Speaker 1: get in the morning and simply not read by Trump.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Mcanenney reportedly didn't answer that directly. In fact, Trump's critics
- 33:55Speaker 1: say his administration's defense in the matter sounds a lot
- 33:58Speaker 1: like his so called alternative facts. By the way, the
- 34:00Speaker 1: Kremlin calls the report a lie. Abortion rights to advocates
- 34:04Speaker 1: one of victory yesterday and the mostly right wing Supreme Court,
- 34:07Speaker 1: thanks to Chief Justice John Roberts, who joined with the
- 34:11Speaker 1: four liberals on the High Court to strike down a
- 34:14Speaker 1: law that was basically the same one that the justices
- 34:16Speaker 1: had invalidated four years ago. The Supreme Court struck down
- 34:19Speaker 1: a Louisiana law which limited the ability to perform abortions
- 34:23Speaker 1: only the doctors with admitting privileges that nearby hospitals, and
- 34:26Speaker 1: because of that, two or maybe three local clinics would
- 34:29Speaker 1: have been forced to close because of that thing, and
- 34:32Speaker 1: they said, no, that's unconstitutional. Hospitalizations for the coronavirus have
- 34:37Speaker 1: increased in twenty three states. Daily deaths are up in fourteen.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Sixteen states have placed their reopening plans on pause. Meanwhile,
- 34:44Speaker 1: the World Health Organization, which we no longer fund because
- 34:47Speaker 1: President Rump does not want us to, says the worst
- 34:49Speaker 1: is yet to come. Four men have been charged with
- 34:51Speaker 1: destruction of federal property but trying to pull down a
- 34:54Speaker 1: statue of former President Andrew Jackson near the White House.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Charges could bring finds as much of a quarter of
- 34:59Speaker 1: a million, thousand, ten years in prison. Jackson was a
- 35:02Speaker 1: Nation seventh president, a reported brutal slave owner, and forced
- 35:06Speaker 1: the Cherokee and other five Nation Indian nations to leave
- 35:08Speaker 1: the Carolinas in other eastern states in March all the
- 35:11Speaker 1: way to Oklahoma, thousands died. It was called the Trail
- 35:14Speaker 1: of Tears. Finally, the coach of the Atlanta Hawks of
- 35:17Speaker 1: the NBA challenging his counterparts to help with the election
- 35:19Speaker 1: year later this year. They've announced their arena will serve
- 35:22Speaker 1: as a polling place in Atlanta. This will be a
- 35:24Speaker 1: challenge to twenty nine other coaches in our league. We
- 35:27Speaker 1: want to get thirty cities in our country being able
- 35:30Speaker 1: to take part of everyone's right, which is the right
- 35:33Speaker 1: to vote. Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 35:36Speaker 1: You're listening to Harvey Morning Show. All right, Time for
- 35:40Speaker 1: comedy Roulette. Now, okah, this is always on. You set
- 35:43Speaker 1: it up please by comt We do this every week.
- 35:46Speaker 1: You give us a subject because you guys test how
- 35:49Speaker 1: comedy ability. Put five subjects on the wheel. Spend the wheel,
- 35:54Speaker 1: wedge stop, we will do the damn thing. What you got,
- 35:58Speaker 1: what you've got? All right, here we go. First subject,
- 36:00Speaker 1: dang dog, while your pants so high too. It's all
- 36:07Speaker 1: you can eat, but not at one time. Okay, here's
- 36:11Speaker 1: number three. Dang girl, that's way too much lip gloss. Okay, no, no, no,
- 36:19Speaker 1: no no, don't take these personal. Don't take okay. Number
- 36:22Speaker 1: four you need to just cut the rest of that
- 36:24Speaker 1: hair on off. I like that one, all right. And
- 36:32Speaker 1: number five that's not a manly dog. That's not a
- 36:35Speaker 1: man dog. Dang girl, that's way too much lip glossy.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Let me take let me shile. You know you got
- 36:57Speaker 1: on too much lip bloss. When I see you and
- 36:59Speaker 1: I can see my reflection, and I'm thinking to myself. Lord,
- 37:03Speaker 1: I wish I had to squeege you. You know what
- 37:05Speaker 1: I'm talking about? Yeah, what you got jip. I don't
- 37:09Speaker 1: really like saying this, but I've had this happened before.
- 37:13Speaker 1: I've been in a situation if I'm trying to kiss
- 37:16Speaker 1: you and you gotta way too much nipplock. We can't
- 37:18Speaker 1: kiss because I keep sliding. I keep sliding off your
- 37:23Speaker 1: mouth because it's way too much nipplock. Let me take
- 37:28Speaker 1: some of this off, way too much. It's way too
- 37:33Speaker 1: much lip block. When you eat a chicken leg and
- 37:36Speaker 1: take one bite, but the rest of the leg is
- 37:38Speaker 1: pink all around the leg. Come on, man, you gotta
- 37:42Speaker 1: take some of that down much. That's way too much
- 37:47Speaker 1: lip blove. Man, you got on too much lip bloss.
- 37:50Speaker 1: If it looked like slob, you can't tell that's too
- 38:00Speaker 1: You know you got on too much lip blows. When
- 38:02Speaker 1: your lips is leaking on the right, on the side
- 38:08Speaker 1: and just dripping down. I fed on so much red
- 38:15Speaker 1: nip blows. What I wanted to tell I said, Damn,
- 38:17Speaker 1: who hit you in the mouth? Yeah, you don't get
- 38:24Speaker 1: hit my girl? All right, all right, all right, all right,
- 38:29Speaker 1: you know you gotta way too much little gloves. When
- 38:32Speaker 1: I walk in the room and everybody got your lip
- 38:35Speaker 1: blows on because you didn't kiss them. Everybody wearing it.
- 38:39Speaker 1: Now there's a lot of glow if you talking, and
- 38:46Speaker 1: it looked like somebody flashes on. All right, we'll be
- 38:55Speaker 1: back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right out.
- 39:00Speaker 1: You're listening to so Steve, here's a question from Steve Harvey.
- 39:06Speaker 1: F M. All right. It says, have you ever thought
- 39:10Speaker 1: the wrong thing at the wrong moment? Now? This email
- 39:13Speaker 1: is from d He says, Hey, guys, a comedy booker
- 39:17Speaker 1: who I deal with has a new secretary. The new
- 39:22Speaker 1: secretary doesn't love me as much as the old secretary. Subsequently,
- 39:26Speaker 1: I get less booked less often. The new secretary's brother
- 39:30Speaker 1: just died, and I thought, sure, it would be nice
- 39:32Speaker 1: if the old secretary would come back for a few
- 39:35Speaker 1: weeks and I will get some bookings. Now I feel bad, Steve, Tommy.
- 39:39Speaker 1: When was the last time you thought the wrong thing
- 39:42Speaker 1: at the wrong moment? When was the last time you
- 39:47Speaker 1: ever thought something wrong at the wrong moment? What is
- 39:54Speaker 1: all that? Too many times? Trying to clean it up?
- 39:58Speaker 1: But go ahea, Yeah, okay, Well, let me ask you
- 40:01Speaker 1: all this Hill. You ever been in church praying yes
- 40:07Speaker 1: and offering? And then she walked by doing offering you praying,
- 40:17Speaker 1: I walked by Yes, even after she had dropped her
- 40:24Speaker 1: money in you still lock yeah all the way and
- 40:29Speaker 1: you lose your place in the prayer Man, who are
- 40:36Speaker 1: in heaven high in the world in your name right
- 40:44Speaker 1: here man, Or look at all that kingdom, or look
- 40:48Speaker 1: at hill Man, your wheel beat dune all over this earth,
- 40:54Speaker 1: all up in now? Yeah, you know have you ever
- 40:57Speaker 1: done that? It was just as good. It was my
- 41:01Speaker 1: relative lay in the casket, and she was in there
- 41:05Speaker 1: supposed to save for the families. I forgot who the
- 41:09Speaker 1: hell was laying up there at the funeral at your tearing,
- 41:15Speaker 1: the almost says the first day, once Charon had walked
- 41:17Speaker 1: up there, I forgot who the hell we was here?
- 41:20Speaker 1: Fuck Lord, that dress was tight, crazy Hill. I need
- 41:26Speaker 1: to give a damn who it was. But she was there,
- 41:30Speaker 1: my Lord, all right. I'd never seen somebody fall, super
- 41:36Speaker 1: fine woman fall and dress blow way up over her.
- 41:42Speaker 1: I just sat there and thought about the wrong thing. Yeah,
- 41:44Speaker 1: at the wrong time. Ye. Timing is everything, get the
- 41:50Speaker 1: wrong thing at the wrong time. What have you ever
- 41:55Speaker 1: been praying and ask God to give somebody's stroke right there,
- 42:00Speaker 1: so you go and kiss him. Yeah, I know. Really
- 42:06Speaker 1: I've asked him to actually shut down somebody whole left side.
- 42:13Speaker 1: You want to hear it, you want to do the mountain? Hey, hey,
- 42:18Speaker 1: this is true. I left a basketball game after high
- 42:23Speaker 1: school one time and the guy robbed me coming out
- 42:26Speaker 1: of business corner. And that was the first time I
- 42:28Speaker 1: asked Lord, I asked God to strike somebody dead. Yeah.
- 42:37Speaker 1: I had nine dollars, so it took nine dollars. So

- 43:19Speaker 1: be blind right now to not see all this? I
- 43:24Speaker 1: didn't had a six cel crisis. Ask the nurse that

- 46:26Speaker 1: we're reaching out to African Americans across the country, and yeah,
- 46:29Speaker 1: you keep saying that, but like you're not gonna get
- 46:31Speaker 1: the black vote just because you're black like that, They're no,
- 46:34Speaker 1: Like that's how that works. I'm not voting for Donald Trump.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Have you given it a chance? Have you thought about it?
- 46:40Speaker 1: Have you? I haven't thought about it. I know I'm
- 46:42Speaker 1: my blot with Donald Trump, but I don't know who
- 46:44Speaker 1: is in the battle. I don't know who don't be
- 46:45Speaker 1: a election. I know when I get into the voters booth,
- 46:48Speaker 1: if I see Donald's Trump name, I'm not checking it,
- 46:51Speaker 1: I'm not marking it. I'm I circling it. I ain't

- 47:12Speaker 1: you gotta do for me. I'm not I give a
- 47:14Speaker 1: about the stupid hat, dude, Like, do you not get
- 47:17Speaker 1: that hat? Is that that's your selling point? You're trying
- 47:20Speaker 1: to sell me on Donald Trump, and your selling point
- 47:22Speaker 1: is a hat. You know what. I knew this was
- 47:24Speaker 1: a bully. I knew it was gonna answer this damn
- 47:26Speaker 1: phone up, but I never answer phone him from people.
- 47:28Speaker 1: I know you really, man, I much already paying you
- 47:32Speaker 1: to sit here and call other black people and try
- 47:35Speaker 1: to sell them on Donald Trump. Like, man, you're the
- 47:37Speaker 1: dude in the back of Donald Trump, the one block
- 47:39Speaker 1: doing the audience to sitting there with your goofy ass
- 47:41Speaker 1: hat on trying to make America great again. This is
- 47:44Speaker 1: a bully answer this damn phone me. Okay, sure. All
- 47:48Speaker 1: I'm trying to do is to get you to broaden
- 47:50Speaker 1: your your your your vision on this whole thing. I
- 47:52Speaker 1: want you to, man, that I'm done like your goofy
- 47:55Speaker 1: is out and I hope they're giving you a fat
- 47:57Speaker 1: check for this stupid that you're doing because this is
- 47:59Speaker 1: what Okay, well, you know, to be honest with you, man,
- 48:03Speaker 1: I thought that you would like the hat. I thought
- 48:05Speaker 1: you would like the shirt. You know, I think that
- 48:08Speaker 1: you're not giving it a fair shot. You know, I
- 48:10Speaker 1: think you're just listening to all the nay sayers out there,
- 48:13Speaker 1: because honestly, you're not. You're not giving it a shot made.
- 48:15Speaker 1: It's some black out here that that that want to
- 48:18Speaker 1: make America great again. We wear the hat with pride,
- 48:21Speaker 1: we wear the shirt with pride. We don't even rally
- 48:23Speaker 1: up more of our people and let them understand that,
- 48:25Speaker 1: you know, the Republican is not a bad party. The dude,
- 48:29Speaker 1: get the my phone. You're literally your selling point is
- 48:32Speaker 1: a damn hat and a T shirt. You met to
- 48:34Speaker 1: those hats, the T shirts. Nineteen times. I talk about
- 48:37Speaker 1: the hats because I'm fond of the hat. Okay, I
- 48:39Speaker 1: wear them all the time. All right. I'm just trying
- 48:42Speaker 1: to and I'm just trying to get you to look
- 48:44Speaker 1: at Trump in a different light, and look at the
- 48:46Speaker 1: whole Republican Party in a different light, you know what
- 48:49Speaker 1: I mean. That's all I want you to do. I'm
- 48:51Speaker 1: not vote for don Trump unless you're about to send
- 48:54Speaker 1: me a shack. I'm my vote for Donald Trump. I'm
- 48:57Speaker 1: not paying you pay me that, and then I might
- 49:00Speaker 1: think about wearing that stupid hat, but I might vote
- 49:03Speaker 1: for Donald Trump. So just to call whatever the black
- 49:06Speaker 1: person's on your list called Tyrone or Tachika, whoever else
- 49:09Speaker 1: is the next, and panted to them you like Donald Trump,
- 49:14Speaker 1: tims are starting this bass war, setting our kids over
- 49:16Speaker 1: tyracking that and everyone else the list that you have
- 49:21Speaker 1: for the people that you have calling, and take me
- 49:24Speaker 1: off this goofy ass list, that stupid hat. I got
- 49:27Speaker 1: a room full of hats, and I would be damns.
- 49:29Speaker 1: I'm aware that stupid ass red one. So a matter
- 49:32Speaker 1: of fact, take my number and draw a big extrat
- 49:35Speaker 1: and don't call me no more with your board, because
- 49:37Speaker 1: I'm done. Donald Trump, sir. So you were recommended by Tommy.
- 49:42Speaker 1: He said you would be on board Tommy who's Tommy.
- 49:46Speaker 1: But if you don't, you don't remember Tommy said that
- 49:48Speaker 1: you would be on board. He said you would wear
- 49:50Speaker 1: the shirt. He said you would wear the hat. He
- 49:53Speaker 1: said that you would probably you know, staying behind Trump
- 49:55Speaker 1: in the nigger rally. Okay, well he's Tommy. Don't know
- 49:58Speaker 1: what he's talking about because i'd be da and I
- 50:00Speaker 1: don't know know wh who named Tommy. I'm not wearing. No,
- 50:04Speaker 1: I'm not wearing that hat. I'm my boat with this man.
- 50:06Speaker 1: So take me off the list and stop with me.
- 50:08Speaker 1: Like I'm done. Donald Trump is not getting my vote.
- 50:11Speaker 1: So whatever time he told you? What's some boy? Okay,
- 50:15Speaker 1: do you want to talk to Tommy? Sure? Why not?
- 50:17Speaker 1: What Tommy who's Tommy wears Tommy? This is telling me.
- 50:20Speaker 1: I'm telling me, baby nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey
- 50:23Speaker 1: Morten Show. You just got yeah, dude, you got me
- 50:33Speaker 1: so hot in this carking lot. Man, But really, I
- 50:39Speaker 1: really didn't think you was gonna pick up. But you
- 50:41Speaker 1: know I got you, baby, I got dad, I never
- 50:45Speaker 1: answer unknown cause dude, I never did. So he check
- 50:48Speaker 1: this out. So you work with with this white guy
- 50:51Speaker 1: named Brian, you know Brian Henry right, I didn't know Brian.
- 50:55Speaker 1: Brian got me to prank phone call you, man, Okay, damn,
- 51:04Speaker 1: he got mad. I wanna know what, man, I don't
- 51:07Speaker 1: know what the temperature is in your office, in your workplace.
- 51:10Speaker 1: But Ryan said, you gotta call my guy. Okay, all right,
- 51:15Speaker 1: So white people got Joe's now, all right, Jo, they
- 51:18Speaker 1: can call the commy on me. You know what. Nah, man,
- 51:21Speaker 1: it's not. It's all though, right because if I I'm
- 51:24Speaker 1: gonna have some a call damn about some democratic and
- 51:27Speaker 1: see how they take it all white people, if any
- 51:30Speaker 1: white people at my job or listening to this right now,

- 52:48Speaker 1: reading your letter live on the air, just like we're
- 52:50Speaker 1: gonna do this one right here today. Uh huh, buggle up,
- 52:53Speaker 1: hold on tight, we got it for you. Here it is.
- 52:56Speaker 1: It's the Strawberry Letter. Thank you, neph you. Subject my
- 52:59Speaker 1: husband is an embarrassing butt head. Dear Stephen Shirley, My
- 53:03Speaker 1: husbands acts like an absolute child at times, and I
- 53:08Speaker 1: can't deal with it. It's like having a third child
- 53:11Speaker 1: and I am so tired of him embarrassing me. The
- 53:14Speaker 1: most recent incident went down Over the weekend at my
- 53:17Speaker 1: pastor's house, we were invited to a barbecue and the
- 53:21Speaker 1: pastor was a little late because of a wedding he
- 53:23Speaker 1: had to do. There was plenty of food on the
- 53:25Speaker 1: grill and we always let the elders of the church
- 53:28Speaker 1: eat first. The first lady fixed the pastor a plate
- 53:32Speaker 1: and sat it to the side and covered it with
- 53:34Speaker 1: saran wrap. When it came time for my husband and
- 53:37Speaker 1: I to fix a plate, only chicken legs, wieners, and
- 53:41Speaker 1: burgers were left. My husband began to whine about not
- 53:44Speaker 1: getting the pieces of chicken that he wanted, so he
- 53:48Speaker 1: went on a hunt for more chicken. He asked several
- 53:51Speaker 1: people if they would eat a leg in exchange for
- 53:53Speaker 1: a thigh or breast that was on their plates. I
- 53:57Speaker 1: was so embarrassed, But what he did next was a shocker.
- 54:02Speaker 1: Was the shocker his ignorant behind went over to the
- 54:06Speaker 1: pastor's plate wrapped in saran wrap and got the two
- 54:09Speaker 1: barbecued thighs that were on there, and then he wrapped
- 54:12Speaker 1: the plate back up. One of the mothers of the
- 54:15Speaker 1: church told him that he could not do that, and
- 54:18Speaker 1: his reply was, pastor should have been here, and it
- 54:21Speaker 1: will be cold by the time he gets here. Anyway,
- 54:24Speaker 1: I almost passed out right then and there. I got
- 54:29Speaker 1: my belongings and told him we needed to leave. Needless
- 54:33Speaker 1: to say, I am going to be the center of
- 54:36Speaker 1: gossip at the church now. My husband does things like
- 54:39Speaker 1: this all of the time. Everything has to go his
- 54:43Speaker 1: way or he starts complaining and whining. How can I
- 54:46Speaker 1: get him to see that it's not all about him.
- 54:49Speaker 1: I am sick of him embarrassing me. Please help. Oh,
- 54:55Speaker 1: I'm embarrassed for you, I really am. This is crazy,
- 54:58Speaker 1: This is really stupid. And your husband, it has to
- 55:01Speaker 1: be the rudest person ever. He's disrespectful to everyone, including
- 55:06Speaker 1: your pastor. How dare he go to the pastor's plate
- 55:09Speaker 1: that's set aside and go in there and get the
- 55:12Speaker 1: pastor's food or anyone's food for that matter, But most
- 55:15Speaker 1: of all the pastor. Your husband's selfish. He's inconsiderate of you,
- 55:19Speaker 1: his wife. And I think you're absolutely right. He is
- 55:23Speaker 1: an embarrassing but head and you have every right to
- 55:27Speaker 1: be upset and to get your things and leave. And yes,
- 55:29Speaker 1: you will be the subject of gossip. The problem is,
- 55:34Speaker 1: what are you going to do about this? I mean,
- 55:36Speaker 1: have you talked to your husband about it? Does he
- 55:39Speaker 1: know how you feel and what you want and what
- 55:42Speaker 1: you don't want him to do? I mean, I'm guessing
- 55:44Speaker 1: you have talked to him about it, but he's not
- 55:48Speaker 1: hearing you. He's not paying any attention to you, and
- 55:52Speaker 1: selfish people often don't because, like you said, it's it's
- 55:55Speaker 1: always about them. So you're going to have to do
- 55:58Speaker 1: something else to get his attention to make him hear you.
- 56:02Speaker 1: I don't know if that means leaving him or if
- 56:04Speaker 1: that means threatening to leave him. It depends on whether
- 56:08Speaker 1: he straightens up and stops doing stupid stuff after you
- 56:12Speaker 1: have some sort of serious conversation with him, because he's
- 56:16Speaker 1: out of control. He's so out of order, so rude
- 56:19Speaker 1: and disrespectful. This is crazy, and what was wrong? Chicken
- 56:23Speaker 1: legs are okay? And burgers and wieners. You're not at home,
- 56:27Speaker 1: You're at somebody else's house, Steve, were your manners? Steve?
- 56:32Speaker 1: I don't get this, I really really don't. I'm confused.
- 56:36Speaker 1: How old is this dude? But now, if y'all at
- 56:40Speaker 1: a church function and y'all at elders in all this,
- 56:42Speaker 1: I'm assuming he's of age. He's not sixteen, but sixteen
- 56:47Speaker 1: year old people wouldn't do that. Your husband is a
- 56:50Speaker 1: child at times, and you can't deal with it. He
- 56:53Speaker 1: didn't just start being a child. He's been childished the
- 56:57Speaker 1: whole time. It's just you've overlooked. Now you married him
- 57:01Speaker 1: and he ain't got to act a certain way. No,
- 57:03Speaker 1: most so now he'd do it all the time. Okay,
- 57:06Speaker 1: this weekend you went over to your pastors. You got
- 57:08Speaker 1: invited to your past his house past was will be
- 57:12Speaker 1: late because he had a wading to do. You got over,
- 57:15Speaker 1: there was a lot to eat. You had food all
- 57:17Speaker 1: on the grill. Now, y'all's church. What y'all do is
- 57:21Speaker 1: y'all let the elders of the church eat first. Just
- 57:25Speaker 1: you know, sometimes it's respectful thing to do. Now the
- 57:29Speaker 1: first lady fool, Now she know her husband late because
- 57:33Speaker 1: he working. He fixed a pastor a plate, set it
- 57:37Speaker 1: to the side, covered in surround wrap. Then when your
- 57:41Speaker 1: game time for y'all to fix the plate. Because he'd
- 57:43Speaker 1: low down on the total pocers. He don't come to
- 57:45Speaker 1: church much now he now he went out. Now he
- 57:49Speaker 1: y'all let the back quiet and eight, what's your board?
- 57:52Speaker 1: Than eight deacons do eight parking lot ministreet of eight
- 57:57Speaker 1: role permitted in eight baptism committed an eight Senior citizens
- 58:03Speaker 1: Quad and eight the joy Landers, the baby Quad and
- 58:07Speaker 1: eight everybody in line, the damn Male Quartet, the Singing
- 58:12Speaker 1: Sensationals datn eight with's their name the Singing sensation day
- 58:18Speaker 1: don eight They big ass, all them big. So when
- 58:22Speaker 1: you get up there, it's time for y'all to fix
- 58:25Speaker 1: the plate. Ain't nothing but chicken, legs, wingers and burger's left.
- 58:30Speaker 1: Your husband's all wine ain't because he didn't get the
- 58:32Speaker 1: piece of chicken he wanted. Well, your ass don't come
- 58:35Speaker 1: to church enough to get the damn piece. You won't,
- 58:39Speaker 1: So he went on a hunt from old chicken. But
- 58:42Speaker 1: he walking around asking people if they would either leg
- 58:46Speaker 1: in exchange for the thigh or breath that was on
- 58:48Speaker 1: their plate. Hook on the people place on the eight man.
- 58:51Speaker 1: You want the leg right here so I can have
- 58:53Speaker 1: that thigh or that or that or that breath. I
- 58:56Speaker 1: got a leg. Who wanted the leg? Y'all that you stupid.
- 59:01Speaker 1: But when I come back, let me tell you how
- 59:03Speaker 1: ignoranty he is. I'm waiting. I want to hear it.
- 59:07Speaker 1: All right. Part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 59:10Speaker 1: twenty three after the hour Today's Strawberry Letters subject my
- 59:14Speaker 1: husband is an embarrassing butthead we'll get back into it
- 59:18Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve, Let's recap
- 59:24Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letters subject my husband is an embarrassing butthead listen,
- 59:31Speaker 1: man and went over to the past is how they
- 59:34Speaker 1: got invited to the bar. This damn food went over

- 1:00:02Speaker 1: so he went on a hunt round for more chicken,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: went around the backyard asking people who to fix their play.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Black people don't take food, aren't they played in hand
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: to teach. Now he got a leg on a trade
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: or thigh for breast for one of these little ragging legs.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: This lady, I'm so embarrassed. But what he did next
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: was the shocka this food, went over to the pastor's
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: plate that's wrapped in suran rap got the two barbecue
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: thighs that was on there, and then wrapped the play
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: back up. One of the mothers of church should him
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: he couldn't do that. This ply was pastors should have
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: been here, and it would be cold by the time
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: he get anyway. Hold up, man, let me talk to
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: you a little bit. Partner. Pastor them invited you over
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: the house, this pastor house. He the man of this house. See,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: I don't know where you You obviously ain't had no daddy,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: because your daddy would have knocked your ass out for
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: doing that. But you ain't got no daddy, So you stupid,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: So you over another man the house, then unwrapped the
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: plate that his wife fixed for him, and now you
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: claiming it as yours. Then wanted the ladies see you
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: and tell you can't do that. And then your pastors
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: should have been here. Pastor at work. This passed the house.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: He ain't got to come here to fit in this
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: way he lived, right, it'll be cold by the time
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: he get here, anyway. Are you serious? First of all,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: you walking around quinting about it. You didn't get that
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: piece of chicken you want it. You didn't pay for this.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: This wasn't a paid barbecueta. This wasn't invite potna. Somebody
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: invited your monks ass over here, you eating free. You
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: ain't bought no chicken. This ain't the buffet as sizzless
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: your ass just eating just this ain't the buffet a
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: sizzless potna. Well you can go back up to the
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: counter telling my Hey, y'all all out of baby backs
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: Now I don't pay you. Step ninety five is all
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: you can eat. Ain't no more damn baby back. I
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: came in here for the baby back you've got in free. Yeah,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: this is crazy. Now you sitting up in here, tell
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: me the pass should have been here now, the ladies said,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: almost passed out right there, got my belongers. I told
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: him we need to leave. Needless to say, I'm gonna
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: be the center of gossip at the church tomorrow. Yes
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: you will, because your husband's stupid. Your husband's stupid. He
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: ain't no real But that ain't what men do. My
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: husband does things like this all the time. Everything has
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: to go his way, or he started complaining and wine.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: See you know what your husband really need? Your husband
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: really need his ass with one good time for taking
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: somebody's chicken. That's want to ask. That's wine and ought
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: to be another asshle Yeah, and then you know how
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: he don't know that you had another man house. You
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: can't make rules out of another man house partner. It's free.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: You didn't pay, and you can't have everything you want
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: in life. So what you got the leg? Legs taste
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: just like breast. It's just a different bite, that's all.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: It is the same dog me, it's just a different bite.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Everything has to go his way. He want to start
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: complaining the wine. How can I get him to see
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: that it's not always about him? He'd been thinking it's
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: about him. I am sick of him embarrassing me. Please
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: help in the words I don't know who are here
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: to say this all the time? Or bafflician leave leave
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: his ass for a while until he learned how to
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: act right. You're married to a fool. This man is
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: not embarrassing. He's foolish. Who goes around the barbecue asking
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: for food off people plate because you didn't get what
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: on your plate you wanted to who do that? Who
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: go in another man's house that he lives in that
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: his wife had made a plate fall? You unwrapid so
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: you can eat what's on his plate, and then you
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: say passing should have been here. It's gonna be cold
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: by the time. Again. Hold on, man, this this man's house. Yeah,
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: this pastor should walk up in there? Whoop your ass?
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: What pastor or to do? Do you look at? That's why,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: that's why everybody become on. Steve, you missed your call. It.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: I ain't never been called in the miss d I'm
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: gonna tell y'all I grew up in the church. My
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: mom gonna tell y'all ain't been called. But if I
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: was to be called, this is one of the reason
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: why I don't think I'm called, because as a pastor,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: I don't see no reason why he can't get his
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: ass for right now, I don't in my house now
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: my wife tell me I come in the back, y'all.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: Mark said, badan had you play? But this man ate
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: it way? Man? Hold on what man? Way? Man? Holder? Baby,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: you made me a play? And another man ain't who
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: what man ain't my pod? Did he know of my pen? Yeah?
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: He said you took too long getting and he was
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: gonna be cold. If you punch a man in the stomach,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: real heart, he throw up coach. All right, listen, you
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: can post your thoughts on today's Strawberry Letter at Steve
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: Harvey f M. I'm sure you'll have a lot to
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: say about this one, or you can check out the
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter podcast on demand. All right, we'll have more
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Morning Show. So, Steve, so give
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: some marriage advice for married couples or couples. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: Yours is on shaky ground at best. I'd love to
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: hear some of your responses, though. Okay, what is it?
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: What does it take to stay in a marriage and
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: be happy for Well, you gotta be willing. I know
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: the corny answers communication, but you got to be able
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: to compromise. Compromise is really smart. Man. You've got to
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: find a way to get but to gil at the
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: same time. And you and if you can be the
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: person to generate the guild, the getting becomes a lot easier. Okay,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: all right, go ahead and ask me what you want
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: to ask you. Yeah, I'm asking you the same question.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: What do you think it takes to have a thriving, long,
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: happy marriage. It takes a lot of bedrooms in the house.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: Because see, once y'all get on each other there, you
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: need to be able to go somewhere else and get
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: away from that person. You know what I'm saying. If
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: you want to continue, for your marriage to continue, now,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: you got to stay in that room. It's gonna get,
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: it's gonna get, it's gonna get a rough up in there.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: You understand what I'm saying. If you want to be
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: a gold somewhere, you want in the same house, gold somewhere,
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: get away from her. What if you look at the
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: studio apartment, Yeah, your marriage is over. You got to
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: have get your two three bedroom, be able to go
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: so much speak. If you live in the studio, all
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: you can do it turn around, look at the wall. Okay,
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: we don't look at the same wall I'm looking at. Well,
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: see back to you, Um stupid, okay, so um. I've
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: heard that successful marriages are when like the husband puts
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: the wife first for starters. You can't outgive a woman.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: I don't care what man you are, you cannot outgive
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: a woman, if she loves you, if you do everything
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: in your power for her, what she gonna give you
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: back in return, you can't even begin to touch. That's
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: a great answer, lion, Ain't start again me man back
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: when you when you start again't ask me a damn
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: thing I wanted to ask you. Well, we can continue
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: this at the at the top of the hour. Marriage
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: questions for Steve than Tommy than Jay. Uh So we
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: can do that as a decline in them. We can
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: do that at the top of the hour. More marriage
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: questions coming up right after this. You're listening to, all right,
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: So before we went to break, Steve, I asked you,
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: is it a true statement that you can have a
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: happier marriage if the man puts the wife first or
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: the woman first in a relationship. And you said, that's
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: absolutely true, And you want to expand. I mean, it's
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: just the here's the best quote I've ever heard about
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: a woman. Uh. He said women should stop pretending to
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: be equal to men, because you're not. You're greater. And
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: so he said, the reason being is because whatever you
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: give a roman, she multiplies it. Whatever you give to
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: a woman, she makes it greater. If you give her groceries,
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: she gives you back a meal. If you give her
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: a smile, she gives you her heart. If you buy
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: her a house, she gives you a home. If you
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: give her a sperm, she'll give you back a baby.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: Everything you give a woman, she multiplies and makes it greater.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: So get ready, cat, So if you give you a
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: woman some crap, you can expect a ton of in return?
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: Where do you get this from? Right? Brother? Best quote?
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: Who said that? All right? So, Tommy, I want to
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: ask you the same question, um that I asked Steve
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: about in a marriage. One of the one of the
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: ways you can make it successful is to put the
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: woman first, put her needs before your needs. But I
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: have taken care of all of her needs, so I don't.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: I don't get it. He telling give uh how she
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: will make it a home and she ain't even there.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: Had the damn time when I hadn't gave her a
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: house and gave her a ben. They ain't rolling that down, Carl. Yeah,
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: I ain't got to do nothing with that. And the
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: spur I gave it that was by accident. What the
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: hell and went wrong with this? Him? Man? All right? Okay,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: thank you, Jay, the same question. The question is I
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: gave but not really. The judge said you're gonna give this,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: donna give that. I didn't have nothing to say about it.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: Next thing, I know, I'm half of what all I
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: started within my life. So I gave you, but I
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: didn't give freely and I didn't get nothing back. So
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: I don't really understand what Steve is saying that if
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: you give out. I gave several houses, several everybody end
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: up with a damn house. Everybody got a house. You
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: get a house, and you get a house, and you
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: get a house, you get a car, you get a call.
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: It's fun divorcing you. Jay, Yeah, I don't. I just
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: see what he I see the happiness in him, but
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: I just want him to see the bitterness in me.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: It's clear. Yeah, definitely all right, Steve. Here's another question.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: How do you in a marriage and in a relationship,
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: how do you resolve arguments without you know, killing each
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: other and being mad for you know? How do you
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: just resolve? You know? The best? You know the best
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: thing that we've discovered. What's that? It's when Marjorie and
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: at a point where we're just not seeing each other side,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: we go away from a minute, and then we come
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: back and we go, Okay, what did I say and
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: what did you hear? And what did you say and
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: what did I hear? So what we do is we
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: do a thing what we said. Okay, Steve, this is
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: what I said. Now tell me what you heard in that.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: And I tell us she said, that's not what I meant.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: I said, Okay, I said this right here. What did
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: you hear? She said, you said this? I said, See,
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: that's not what I said. I said this, but it
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: sound to me like see. And it always comes down
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: to what you heard versus what I said, or what
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: you said versus what I heard, And we resolve ninety
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: nine percent of our arguments that way because it's usually
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: misunderstanding because we're both you know, intelligent thinking people, and
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: that's where we found Okay, all right, well, um, Jay
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: and Tommy, I know you have a response to this,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: So so we're coming back. We'll continue our marriage our
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: marriage discussion with the fellas at twenty minutes after right
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steven Show. All right,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: we're having a marriage discussion with the married men on
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: the show. But we're having one marriage dis question. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: you celebrated joe anniversary. We are and it's third when
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: you've been here from owner and while you talking, he
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: has the most experience of anyone on the show, Steve
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: so most experience in the less time, the most experience.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: Here's the question on the table. This is for you
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: Tommy and then you Jay. How do you resolve arguments
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: when you're married in a relationship? You argue it out.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: You have to let the argument. We argue until our
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: throats go out, and then we get some paper and
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: write out some more clum But we're gonna get this
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: argument over with. See. The thing is that you're not
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: supposed to go to bed. You got to get this
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: off your damn and we gets it out there. I'm
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: telling my throats out, no more paper to write home.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna sleeping here. You're sleeping now, and Damna, you
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: better hope I don't find no more paper. Come on,
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: Jay on. The first one to go to effort is
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: the winner's last. That's your advice. What happened alright? That's
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: how you resolve arguments. Jay to adults, I love it.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: You're gonna go that fast. I ain't never gonna get that.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: All right, listen, we'll be back with more of the
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at thirty three after
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: the hour. Right after this. You're listening to the Steve
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, Time for coming roulette. Now, okay,
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: this is always on. You set it up. Please do
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: this every week. You give us a subject because you
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: guys test our comedy ability. Put five subjects on the wheel.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: Spind the wheel, wedge. Stop, we will do the damn thing.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: What you got what you got a right? Here we go.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: First subject, dang dog, while your pants so high too.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: It's all you can eat, but not at one time. Okay,
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: here's number three. Dang girl, that's way too much lip gloss. Okay, no, no, no, no,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: don't take these personals. Don't take Okay, number four you
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: need to just cut the rest of that hair on off.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: I like that one, all right. And number five that's
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: not a manly dog, that dog. Dang girl, that's way
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: too much lip bloss. Let me let me shide this.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: You know you got on too much lip bloss. When
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: I see you and I can see my reflection, and
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: I'm thinking to myself, Lord, I wish I had to
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: squeege you. You know what I'm telling ye? What you
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: got jip. I don't really like saying this, but I've
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: had this happened before. I've been in a situation if
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: I'm trying to kiss you and you gotta way too
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: much nippo. We can't kiss because I keep sliding. I
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: keep sliding off your mouth because it's way too much nipplock.
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: Let me take some of this off, way too much.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: It's way too much lip blofs. When you eat a
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: chicken leg and take one bite, but the rest of
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: the leg is pink all around the leg. Come on, man,
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: you gotta take some of that down that way too much, litloves.
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: You got on too much lip gloss. If it looked
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: like slob, you can't tell. That's too weird. You know
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: you got on too much lip blows When your lips
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: is leaking on the right, on the side and just
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: dripping down. I fed on so much red lip blows.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: What I wanted to know? I said, Damn, who hit
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: you in the mouth? Yeah, you don't just hit my girl?
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: All right, all right, all right? You know you got
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: on weigh too much little gloves. When I walk in
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: the room and everybody got your lip bloss on because
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: you didn't kiss them. Everybody wearing it now comes a
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: lot of glow if you talk it, and it looked
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: like somebody's flashes his own. All right, coming up, it's
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: Steve Harvey and his closing remarks. You don't want to
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: miss it at forty nine after the hour you're listening to.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: All Right, Steve, here we are last break of the
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: day on this Tuesday. You have some closing remarks for us.
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: I know you do. Yeah. Um, I've been talking to
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: you all a few times about this thing that I've
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: started doing every morning, this morning meditation. Um. It's a
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: series of things I do. You don't have to do it.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: Everybody has to pick their own way to go about it. Um.
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: I just decided because of a scripture that I read
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: Psalms five and three, and uh, Psalms five and three.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: It just talks about in the morning. It just talk
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: about when you talk to God in the morning, you're
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: asking him to hear your voice. And then after you
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: ask him to hear your voice of everything you pray
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: and talk to him about, asking to show gratitude. You
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: wait in expectation of all these things to happen in
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: your life. You know nothing. Look, everything you ask them
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: not gonna happen today, but you. But you spend your
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: day in the expectation that God is going to do
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: something to move you closer to your goals, your dreams,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: your visions, and especially to Him. But what I have
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: learned about this morning meditation and it has bought about
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: a pizza in my life that I've never had before.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: I'm just sharing it with everybody because I'd like for
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: you all to try it. Look, they got these daily
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: inspiration books all over the place. The one I got
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: is called up Enjoying Peace in His Presence by Sarah Young.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: It's just a three hundred and sixty five day devotion,
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: or you can pick anyone. You won't you know how
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: they have a little message of the day and then
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: they back it up with a couple of scriptures. And look, man,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: I'm not being religious with you at all, because your
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: faith doesn't matter to me. I'm just talking about a method,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: this morning meditation. And what I do is what it
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: does is it is after I get through meditating and
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: I say the Lord's Prayer and I read my little
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: daily daily inspiration, I got a Bible app and I
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: do my verse to the day, and then I go
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: look it up in the Bible, and I look it
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: up in a new Living Testament so I can understand
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: the real words. And before I close out, I pull
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: out my list of everything that I'm thanking God for,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: which is a full sheet of paper. And then I
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: have a second sheet of paper that's stuff I'm asking
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: God for, which is another full sheet of paper. What
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: I've learned in this meditation is that it has given
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: me a peace that has transcended my intellect. And what
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: I mean by that is what I've discovered was happening
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: to me and it might be happening to a lot
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: of viewers when most of your mental energy goes into
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: trying to figure everything out, which I can't tell you
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: how much of my morning I used to wake up
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: in the morning and began to figure every try to
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: figure everything out. When you're trying to figure it out,
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: the peace that God can really give you, you're you're
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: not capable of receiving that because you're in the way
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: with your mind set. See you so busy trying to
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: figure it out that you don't you don't leave room
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: for God and what God does. God kind of looks
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: in your head and probably looking at all these thoughts
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: spinning around and round and going nowhere and accomplishing nothing,
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: and all the while, this peace that He has for
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: me had been kind of hovering over my head, searching
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: for a place to land. But I wasn't giving his
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: peace a place to land in my head because I
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: had it soul jumbled up with thoughts of how to
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: figure it out, what I'm gonna do, who should I call,
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: what should I say, how do I respond? And for
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: the past month I've stopped doing that. All of a
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: suddenly just gave me an incredible peace that he had
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: been trying to give to me for years. I wish
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: I had learned this a long time ago, but maybe
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: it can help you out the way it has helped me.
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: But I guess we all learned stuff as we go along.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: You know, we are all slowly becoming the person that
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: we should have been a long time ago. I also
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: learned of late that you it takes your entire life
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: to find out everything there is to find out about yourself.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: To be who you really are takes your entire life.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: This person that I become has become a person more
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: at peace as all the controversy and things swirl around me.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: God has given me a real calmness in the eye
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: of the hurricane. And we all can be the center
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: of the hurricane if we just refuse to step out
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: in the swirl that's around us. And it's all around us.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: It's relative to who you are. Some swels appear bigger
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: than other swels because of the level you've reached in life.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: Some people might look over there and go, man, that
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: ain't nothing, But in a world it could be everything,
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: it could be monumentous. So who am I? Because it's
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: all relative as to where we are. You know, we
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: all got our different crosses to bear. But the one
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: thing I've learned about this morning meditation that has given
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: me a peace beyond my intellect, and it has caused
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: me to just have a calmness that I haven't had
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: in a long time. And I don't have to respond
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: to everything, because everything that somebody's saying about you, and
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: everything that somebody's doing towards you, that's meant for each
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: evil that ain't your business, and don't make it yours.
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: Don't even worry about it. Those people have no idea
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: that God's ways are as high above the earth as
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: the heavens. They have no idea. They just operating in
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: their own little kacoon, thinking they staring up something because
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: they got some likes or something like that. Hey, y'all,
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: don't get in that. Don't worry about ten people. If
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: you love God and you're a child of his, He's
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: working on your behalf even when it looked like it's
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: some mess out there. All you got to do is
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: stay at the eye of the hurricane. Don't get in
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: the swirl, don't go out there. If you stay centered
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: in Him, he'll give you a peace that transcends all
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: your intellect. That's what the morning meditation has done for me.
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: I would invite you all to try it yourself. All right,
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: that's it today. Those are my closing remarks. Robert, it's
