- 2:03Speaker 3: Good morning everybody. You all listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 3: dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey oh Man.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Got a radio show. Man, got a radio show, and
- 2:14Speaker 2: a whole lot mold too, man. God is good to me.
- 2:17Speaker 2: I have no other explanation, if I have no other
- 2:20Speaker 2: explanation of my existence and where I stand in this
- 2:24Speaker 2: thing called life, except if it was not for the
- 2:27Speaker 2: goodness of God Almighty. If it was not for His
- 2:31Speaker 2: grace and his mercy, There's no way I could exist.
- 2:35Speaker 3: The way that I do.
- 2:37Speaker 2: I will not be who I am or where I am.
- 2:39Speaker 2: I am who I am and where I am simply
- 2:43Speaker 2: because God is who he is. If it was not
- 2:48Speaker 2: for God, I would have no testimony for you, because
- 2:52Speaker 2: I would have failed every single test plain, pure and simple.
- 2:59Speaker 2: I can sit here today and tell you flat out
- 3:03Speaker 2: that it is purely because of God's grace and mercy
- 3:08Speaker 2: that I exist today because of His favor. See now
- 3:12Speaker 2: He shows us favor in life because of a combination
- 3:16Speaker 2: of things I've discovered. And this is not the whole
- 3:20Speaker 2: answer to life, I can assure you as not. But
- 3:23Speaker 2: this is a combination that I've grown to understand better
- 3:27Speaker 2: and better, and I wish I had gotten it earlier
- 3:30Speaker 2: in my life.
- 3:31Speaker 3: But here it is.
- 3:34Speaker 2: If you take faith and you combine it with an
- 3:41Speaker 2: incredible work ethic.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Then God.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Has the greatest opportunities to show you favor. That's the
- 3:54Speaker 2: best way I can explain success to you from my standpoint.
- 3:59Speaker 2: It is the combination of faith and work that produces
- 4:04Speaker 2: the most opportunities for God.
- 4:07Speaker 3: To show you favor.
- 4:09Speaker 2: See a lot of times we want God to bless us,
- 4:11Speaker 2: but we ain't doing nothing for him to bless So
- 4:14Speaker 2: now we sideways in the equation a little bit. But
- 4:18Speaker 2: see if you had the faith in God that God
- 4:22Speaker 2: can do anything but fail, that God will get you through,
- 4:26Speaker 2: that God will see you through. That the God is
- 4:29Speaker 2: the God you serve, is the greatest giver of all
- 4:32Speaker 2: good things, if you kept that faith intact through it
- 4:35Speaker 2: all and you produced an incredible work ethic that allows
- 4:42Speaker 2: the most opportunities for God to show you favor. See
- 4:48Speaker 2: without that what you want God to do? See, you
- 4:50Speaker 2: can have faith and be sitting at the house watching TV.
- 4:55Speaker 2: There's nothing being produced, no opportunities for God to show
- 5:00Speaker 2: you favor. And you got to do some things man,
- 5:04Speaker 2: that you are uncomfortable doing or don't feel like doing,
- 5:09Speaker 2: or something that don't have the right payoff right in
- 5:11Speaker 2: front of your face, with the faith that it'll pay
- 5:15Speaker 2: off later on. See, too many people are working for
- 5:18Speaker 2: the right now reward, and the right now reward is
- 5:22Speaker 2: not how it works.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Sometimes the reward is coming later on up the road.
- 5:26Speaker 2: But the only way you can know that is if
- 5:29Speaker 2: you got to You got to apply the faith and
- 5:32Speaker 2: see the reason you don't know that that it's coming
- 5:36Speaker 2: like that, or you have to have faith to believe
- 5:38Speaker 2: that it's coming, because faith.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Is the belief in things that you cannot see.
- 5:45Speaker 3: That's what faith is. You know you're standing at Let
- 5:48Speaker 3: me give you exam.
- 5:49Speaker 2: You standing at the crosswalk with a walk sign on
- 5:52Speaker 2: it and the sign flashing on the corner. Don't walk
- 5:56Speaker 2: then that the signs say walk, What do you think
- 6:01Speaker 2: your chances are making it across that street?
- 6:04Speaker 3: Is what?
- 6:04Speaker 1: Pretty good?
- 6:06Speaker 3: Because guess what the.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Signs say walk. You can see the other side. There's
- 6:11Speaker 2: other people in the cross walk walking, So guess what
- 6:14Speaker 2: you strike out blindly? It don't take a lot of
- 6:16Speaker 2: faith to get across that streets. That's not what I'm
- 6:21Speaker 2: talking to you about. I'm talking about the faith, the
- 6:24Speaker 2: belief in things that you cannot see, the faith that
- 6:29Speaker 2: what I'm doing today, I believe in my heart of
- 6:33Speaker 2: heart that God.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Wouldn't bring me this far to leave me.
- 6:36Speaker 2: That God is a true, in living God, that he
- 6:39Speaker 2: keeps his promises, that later on, there's things that I'm
- 6:42Speaker 2: working towards right now gonna pay off later on. See,
- 6:45Speaker 2: too many people want the reward right now. See, that's
- 6:48Speaker 2: not the exhibition of faith. If it's the right thing
- 6:52Speaker 2: to do, if it's if it's a good thing to do,
- 6:56Speaker 2: if it's a just thing to do. See if it's
- 6:59Speaker 2: sin in it, it ain't God. You can just clear
- 7:02Speaker 2: it on up right there. You can stop all the wondering.
- 7:05Speaker 2: If that's His voice talking to you, if it's the
- 7:08Speaker 2: right thing to do, if it's sin in it. It's
- 7:11Speaker 2: not God talking to you.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Kill it.
- 7:15Speaker 2: You can shut it down. You ain't got to wonder
- 7:18Speaker 2: about it. Go down there secret venge that ain't God.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Go tell them off when you see him.
- 7:23Speaker 3: That ain't God.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Anything that's got seining in it is not God's voice
- 7:27Speaker 2: telling you to do it. So you can kill that
- 7:29Speaker 2: conversation today. That's how you know. But if you are
- 7:33Speaker 2: aligning yourself up man and you and what you're doing
- 7:35Speaker 2: is just and right and correct and pleasing in the
- 7:39Speaker 2: sight of God, it'll pay off for you later on.
- 7:43Speaker 2: And see, here's the best way I can tell to
- 7:47Speaker 2: his another one. When you're going somewhere, when you're on
- 7:53Speaker 2: the road to going somewhere, and you know the somewhere
- 7:56Speaker 2: that you're trying to get to.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Let's say you've set a goal of for yourself.
- 8:00Speaker 2: You know where you want to get to, You got
- 8:03Speaker 2: a good idea, and you own your way to going there.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Listen to me when it gets hard, and it is
- 8:10Speaker 2: going to get hard, when it gets difficult, and it
- 8:14Speaker 2: is going to get difficult, when it becomes challenging, and
- 8:17Speaker 2: it is going to become challenging when it becomes all
- 8:21Speaker 2: three of those things when it don't look like it's
- 8:23Speaker 2: gonna happen, don't stop and complain so much. But see,
- 8:29Speaker 2: I know he don't bless me. But in the middle
- 8:31Speaker 2: of it, man, I felt a little heavy. And you
- 8:34Speaker 2: got to be careful when it gets hard for you,
- 8:36Speaker 2: because you'll find yourself complaining. And when you complain and see,
- 8:41Speaker 2: what you can't do is you can't complain so much
- 8:44Speaker 2: that you forget that the.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Place that you're trying to go to, you actually own
- 8:50Speaker 3: your way there still.
- 8:52Speaker 2: See, don't get caught up into complaining and then lose
- 8:55Speaker 2: sight of your blessing that's actually.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Happening to you.
- 8:58Speaker 2: What really, man, of all the times to register a
- 9:03Speaker 2: complaint to God, to sit up and go, hey, man,
- 9:05Speaker 2: I didn't I wanted to ease back into this thing.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Ease back in, man, you in it's a tornado whirling
- 9:13Speaker 2: around you. You ain't got time to ease back in.
- 9:15Speaker 2: You gots to go on and jump back in it.
- 9:17Speaker 2: It is what it is to whom much is given,
- 9:19Speaker 2: much is required. Always appreciate the blessings. Don't get so
- 9:23Speaker 2: caught up in the complaints that you lose sight of
- 9:25Speaker 2: the blessings. Man, God got a lot for you in
- 9:28Speaker 2: your life.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Man.
- 9:29Speaker 2: But you got to have them two things, y'all. You
- 9:31Speaker 2: got to take that faith and you got to ply
- 9:35Speaker 2: a crazy work ethic to it. And that creates the
- 9:38Speaker 2: most opportunities for God to show you favor. And when
- 9:42Speaker 2: God starts showing your favor, Man, all them seeds you planted,
- 9:46Speaker 2: all of that, all of that wheat you've been sowing,
- 9:49Speaker 2: all of that hard work you've been put in God
- 9:51Speaker 2: to pay it off.
- 9:52Speaker 3: And He'll pay it off in ways that you don't
- 9:54Speaker 3: even see coming.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Okay, Cool, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Ship, ladies and gentlemen. Oh man, boy, that God. Let
- 10:10Speaker 2: me tell you something. God is really really amazing.

- 10:17Speaker 3: That ain't the word for it. He is beyond amazing,
- 10:21Speaker 3: he really is. He didn't done it again.
- 10:23Speaker 2: I don't know if you notice it, but he didne
- 10:26Speaker 2: did it again. It's another day, man, That son keep
- 10:29Speaker 2: coming up. You can put it behind clouds and ain't
- 10:32Speaker 2: nothing you can do about it. It keep coming up.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Who you know do something every day the exact same way,
- 10:39Speaker 2: just like he said he would. Ain't nobody but God,
- 10:42Speaker 2: everybody you know that said they were gonna do something
- 10:46Speaker 2: for had an excuse one time. Oh well I forgot,
- 10:49Speaker 2: I overslept. You know it's coming.
- 10:52Speaker 3: I'll get it. I'll do it twice tomorrow. No, No,

- 11:02Speaker 2: That's who you need in your life, somebody you can
- 11:05Speaker 2: count on that don't miss. Because I'm telling you, man, people,
- 11:09Speaker 2: no matter how dedicated they are to you, they are human.
- 11:12Speaker 2: They have flaws and they will miss. I don't care
- 11:16Speaker 2: who you're married to. I don't care who you're in
- 11:18Speaker 2: love with. I don't care if you met your soul mate.

- 36:39Speaker 3: So now that we got this thumb drive, what we're
- 36:41Speaker 3: gonna do retry him?
- 36:42Speaker 10: What? What?
- 36:43Speaker 3: What does this mean?
- 36:44Speaker 1: We can obviously?
- 36:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't know, I don't know what the surprise
- 36:50Speaker 2: is exactly actual, and I didn't get how black he was.
- 37:00Speaker 3: All right. I know when somebody did something, especially if
- 37:03Speaker 3: you black.
- 37:04Speaker 1: I really do know when you're doing something, all right.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Because being a having told servialized myself, I can always tell.

- 37:49Speaker 8: All Right, guys, more great news for Hunter Biden and
- 37:52Speaker 8: a straightforward ruling. The US District judge ended all actions
- 37:56Speaker 8: in Hunter Biden's federal guncase in Delaware. Judge ruled, in
- 38:01Speaker 8: the absence of binding President, all proceedings in this case
- 38:05Speaker 8: are hereby terminated. Hunter you by guilty in June yes
- 38:10Speaker 8: for lying about his drug use back when he applied
- 38:12Speaker 8: to buy a gun six years ago and then charged
- 38:15Speaker 8: for unlawfully owning that gun. So charges have been dismissed
- 38:21Speaker 8: and part him.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Small, lie, that's not my gun, you know, because I've
- 38:27Speaker 2: said that.
- 38:29Speaker 10: You know what this is.
- 38:30Speaker 1: You put yourself really, you know, but that's what you
- 38:33Speaker 1: got to do.
- 38:33Speaker 3: You have to see, that's what's the matter with people.
- 38:35Speaker 2: You don't never put yourself in their shoes. If you
- 38:39Speaker 2: would give more, people would just put theyself in the
- 38:41Speaker 2: other person's shoes.
- 38:43Speaker 3: We'd have more empathy in this world.
- 38:46Speaker 1: That's the hunter.
- 38:48Speaker 15: We need that.
- 38:50Speaker 1: And he white, come on, and he's a president's son.
- 38:54Speaker 2: Now, let me ask the only question. Can Donald Trump
- 38:58Speaker 2: as president part himself.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Win again?
- 39:06Speaker 3: Anything?
- 39:09Speaker 10: Well?
- 39:09Speaker 1: What couldn't he? Can he change the constitution? I mean,
- 39:13Speaker 1: it's like whatever, But here's what I do.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Here's what Since Donald Trump can only run for four
- 39:23Speaker 2: he can only do this for four more years, he
- 39:25Speaker 2: can't run again, right. I think the Republican Party is
- 39:29Speaker 2: going to try to recapture the party now. But the
- 39:33Speaker 2: problem is I think the front runners the JD Vance's
- 39:38Speaker 2: and then the Revlics, so whatever that little Indian dude name.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Then they've watched Donald Trump make a new blueprint for
- 39:49Speaker 2: winning this work. And I think that's the blueprint that
- 39:53Speaker 2: the Republican Party. We're gonna lie, and we're gonna tell
- 39:56Speaker 2: the lie enough times do we get our party to
- 39:59Speaker 2: believe it, and that's how they gonna run on it.
- 40:03Speaker 2: And I think that the Republican Party is forever damaged.
- 40:08Speaker 2: The only good thing about this election for me was
- 40:12Speaker 2: all the blacks for Trump is slowly finding out that
- 40:17Speaker 2: Trump ain't for blacks. I ain't got one black ass
- 40:20Speaker 2: cabinet member yet nowhere. Tim Scott ain't getting nothing. The
- 40:26Speaker 2: other Tom didn't get nothing. Just over there, just kissing
- 40:32Speaker 2: draws for no reason. Oh I know, timsoner here going damn.
- 40:39Speaker 2: I don't known the whine girl.
- 40:52Speaker 9: Man.
- 40:53Speaker 1: He ain't give me nothing. Well, uh yeah, we'll see. Yeah,

- 56:36Speaker 8: All right, thank you, nephew. Subject he's paying bills for
- 56:40Speaker 8: his cousin. Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been married for six years,
- 56:44Speaker 8: and for the past ten years, my husband has been
- 56:47Speaker 8: taking care of a female that he used to date.
- 56:50Speaker 8: When I met him nine years ago, he said that
- 56:53Speaker 8: he was close with the female cousin that lives in Maryland.
- 56:56Speaker 8: He said that he hasn't seen her in years, but
- 56:58Speaker 8: they talk almost daily. It was strange to me that
- 57:02Speaker 8: he's closer to his cousin than he is to his
- 57:04Speaker 8: own sister. He said that his relationship with his cousin
- 57:07Speaker 8: causes tension between him and his sister because his sister
- 57:11Speaker 8: can't stand the cousin. I kept asking to meet her,
- 57:14Speaker 8: but he always had excuses. I'll ask who he's texting,
- 57:18Speaker 8: and he'll say it's his cousin. If they're face timing,
- 57:22Speaker 8: he hangs up when I walk into the room. Honestly,
- 57:25Speaker 8: I never thought anything was up with them until I
- 57:29Speaker 8: started planning our Christmas trip to his parents' house in Maryland.
- 57:32Speaker 8: I told my husband's sister that I want her to
- 57:34Speaker 8: work things out with her cousin, because life is too
- 57:37Speaker 8: short to be hating family members.
- 57:39Speaker 1: She told me that the woman is not her cousin.
- 57:42Speaker 8: She used to date the woman and when they broke up,
- 57:45Speaker 8: the woman dated her brother, who is my husband. She
- 57:50Speaker 8: told me to get my fat straight before I come
- 57:52Speaker 8: to her. Trying to be a peacemaker, she said that
- 57:55Speaker 8: my husband has been paying this girl's rent and car
- 57:58Speaker 8: notes for years, and she does not live in Maryland.
- 58:01Speaker 8: She lives about ten miles from us. My chest Titan
- 58:05Speaker 8: and I started seeing white stars. I called my husband
- 58:08Speaker 8: on the freeway and he hung up when I asked
- 58:10Speaker 8: him about his cousin. He won't talk about it at all,
- 58:14Speaker 8: or if I bring it up, he locks himself in
- 58:17Speaker 8: our guest bedroom. I want to know what money he's
- 58:20Speaker 8: using to pay her bills. Why would he marry me
- 58:23Speaker 8: if he's been with her all along? Why won't he
- 58:26Speaker 8: tell me what's up? He's just not going to tell you.
- 58:30Speaker 8: I mean, she may not be of the family, but
- 58:34Speaker 8: she certainly keeps it in the family.
- 58:36Speaker 1: This one.
- 58:36Speaker 8: First your sister in law, then your husband, who is
- 58:39Speaker 8: your sister in law's brother. Of course, I don't even
- 58:42Speaker 8: know who does that she started dating a brother and
- 58:44Speaker 8: a sister from the same family.
- 58:46Speaker 1: It's kind of hard to wrap your mind around that,
- 58:49Speaker 1: isn't it. Anyway.
- 58:50Speaker 8: I'm glad his sister told you, because he certainly wasn't
- 58:53Speaker 8: giving up any information. But what a way to find out.
- 58:58Speaker 8: I mean, I'm sure that had to hurt you all
- 59:00Speaker 8: of that. Your husband is foul for his lies and deceit.
- 59:04Speaker 8: He's taking money out of your household to pay her bills.
- 59:08Speaker 8: You've only been married to him for six years, but
- 59:10Speaker 8: this has been going on for the past ten years.
- 59:14Speaker 8: How has he been able to get away with all
- 59:15Speaker 8: of this foolishness for so long, even if he did
- 59:18Speaker 8: say it was his cousin. And what is all this
- 59:21Speaker 8: locking himself in the guest bedroom about. I mean, he's
- 59:24Speaker 8: beyond immature. This man is not ready to be anyone's husband,
- 59:29Speaker 8: let alone yours. For six years, he can't be trusted
- 59:32Speaker 8: with his lies and everything. You deserve way better than
- 59:35Speaker 8: a husband who pays another man's bills, another woman's bills
- 59:38Speaker 8: right under your nose. I mean, this is just wrong.
- 59:41Speaker 8: I just think you know finding out this information, this
- 59:44Speaker 8: marriage is over. Steve Well, Shirley I know yes, and
- 59:52Speaker 8: love and love.
- 59:53Speaker 2: Yes, relationship is over.
- 59:57Speaker 1: It's did in the water. I have an action.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: He happened to agree with you on this one. I
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: don't know how this one gonna survive is here right here?
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: But well, here we go with this. I found some
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: real foolishness in this letter. Anyway, your husband been taking
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: care of female that he used to date. Right now,
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: what is the rest of this letter for us? I
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: could tell you right now, this crazy person I live
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: with this. She can't have no letter to start with this,
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: And then it continued because all this is a wash.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: My husband is taking care of female he used to date.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: Made him nine years ago. He was close with a
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: female cousin that lives in Maryland.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: He said he ain't seen in years. They talk daily.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: And it's strange to you because you say he's closer
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: to her cousin than he is his own sister.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: He said that the relationship with his cousin causes tension
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: between him and his sister because.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: His sister can't stand Because, well, let's move on and
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: find out why. I kept asking him to meet him,
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: but they always had an excuse. I asked him who
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: he texted? He says, cuz if they FaceTime and he
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: hang up when I walk in the room. Honestly, I
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: never thought anything.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: Was up with them.
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: Really, you kind of slow. Here's a female cousin he
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: talked to you all the time you've been wanting to meet.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Won't let you meet him be on FaceTime? Hang up
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: when you walk in the room, and you ain't thought nothing?
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: Cuz okay, I started playing in the Christmas trip to
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: his parents' house. I told my husband now here, we
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: fine to find out why there's tension between the cousin
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: and his sister. I told my husband's sister, and I
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: want her to work things out with her cousin, because
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: life is short to be hating family members.
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: She told me the woman ain't her cousin. All hell
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: that cause, for all hell, that woman.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: Is not my cousin. I used to date her, oh
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: he they had an affair together. They was in a relationship.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: The female that your husband is with and his sister
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: was in a relationship, she told me. And then when
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: they broke up, the woman started dating her brother, who
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: is now your husband. And she told me, get my
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: fact straight, for I come trying to be a peacemaker.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: God though.
- 1:02:51Speaker 8: Okay, Steve, we'll have part two of your response coming
- 1:02:54Speaker 8: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry
- 1:02:57Speaker 8: letter subject he's paying bills for his cousin, And we'll
- 1:03:00Speaker 8: get back into it right after this.

- 1:03:42Speaker 8: All right, come on, see let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:44Speaker 8: The subject he's paying bills for his cousin.
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: Well, he's paying bills for his cousin. But we found
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: out in the letter it ain't his cousin. It's a
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: female cousin. And he used to date Hub but it
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: looked like they still date. That's what I'm I'm confused.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: And she didn't know this, but he told her he
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: had a cousin that he's really really close to him.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: You thought it was surprising because he's actually closer to
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: her than he is his own sister. And he said, well,
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: the reason that is because they have some tension between them.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: We found out the reason they have tension between them
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: is because the husband's sister and this female cousin used
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: to date, and when they broke up, she started dating
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: her brother, who is your husband. And that's what bills
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: he paying. He paying the bills, and you're not paying
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: bills because we used to date, right right, Yeah, men
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: don't do retro pay. I'm just gonna tell them, we
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: don't do retro pay. We don't do backup pay with anyway,
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: I kept asking to meet.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: Her, away had excuses.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: And the reason she found out they was cousins is
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: because she was playing in a trip to her husband's parents'
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: house in Maryland and told your husband's sister that I
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: want her to work things out with her cousin because
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: life is too short to be hating family members. She
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: snapped told me that the woman ate her cousin, that
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: she used to date the woman and when they broke up.
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: The woman started dating her brother, who is now your husband.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: She told me to get my facts straight before I
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: come to her, being a peacemaker god dog.
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: But now we have letter after this. Why I don't know,
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: but we have some more letter and here we go.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: She said, my husband has been paying this girl's rent
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: and card note for years and she don't live in Maryland.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: She stayed about ten miles from us. He been over there.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: I just told you, we don't do retro pay. We
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: don't send money across US state lines. That's a crime.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: That's that's a crime.
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: To send yes it is. That's that's mail fraud. That's
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: wid Tampa. That's cross crossline. H You can't do that
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: to people. That's a crime, especially if it's a legal
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: activity going on. And this is not a legal illegal activity,
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: but this is an immoral illegal activity because you had
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: a husband and wife contract. So I called my husband
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: on a three way. First, she said, my chest tighten
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: up and I started seeing white stars. Last time that
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: happened to me, Larry Singleton had punched me in the jaw.
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: That's the last time my chest tightened up and I
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: saw white stars. Larry Single, damn then knock my ass out,
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: so I know the feeling. Anyway, I called my husband
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: on the three way, and he hung up when I
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: asked him about his cousin.
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: Now listen to this. He hung up. He won't talk
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: about it at all, and if I bring it up,
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: he locks hisself in our guess bedroom. What you can
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: do that? Boy? Wait a minute, man, you can do that? Yeah,
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: Tommy kill.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: Next time you're having an argument with your wife, walk
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: away and lock yourself in another room.
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: That whole damn door.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: Will be on fire, man, he would.
- 1:07:31Speaker 9: Boy.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: Man, now I tell you what that'd be the last
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: time you go in, because you be walking down the
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: hallway and all the dolls is gone. I didn't even
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: know you could do that. Now here's a question. I
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: want to know what money he's using to pay her bills?
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: What you want to know what money he using to
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: pay her bills? Let me ask my radio listening audience
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: a question, when had have you ever heard of another money?
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Right?
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: She said? I want to know what money he's using
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: to pay her bills? What you mean what money? Poll
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: In on this show, has ever heard of another money?
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: All this money over here?
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: This mind?
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: So if I'm paying your bills.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: It's got to be because you can't use nobody else
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: money to pay somebody else.
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: You can't do that. Who's giving you the money?
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: Hey? Dog, I know you got this girl. Man just
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: take money and her boy?
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: Who do that? You can't go to the bank?
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: Excuse me? I like to take out a loan? Yes?
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: What is your loan for the day? It's time. I
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: got chick on the side and I want and you
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: want to ball money to do that for Yeah? Not
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: have to, sir, Step away from the counter.
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: Fun all right. Now, here's the other one.
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: Why would he marry me if he's been with her
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: all along? Well, that's it's called an affair, and you
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: try to keep that a secret. Here's the last question.
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: Why won't he tell me what's up?
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: What the hell? You don't know what what you wanted to?
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: You just told us what was up. We know what's up?
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: Now you say, why won't he tell me what's up?
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: I think really? Cause you stupid? That's what I really
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: think this. Why would he have to tell you something
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: that you got all the information in this letter right here?
- 1:09:48Speaker 8: Leave your comments on Today's letter on Instagram and Facebook
- 1:09:51Speaker 8: at Steve Harvey FM and check us out on the

- 1:10:38Speaker 1: Sports Talk, which you got Junior.
- 1:10:40Speaker 7: Well, some controversy with the Houston Texans. You know our
- 1:10:43Speaker 7: linebacker Aziz Al Shahire. He's a lineback Houston Texas. He
- 1:10:48Speaker 7: is suspended three games for a hit on Trevor Lawrence
- 1:10:51Speaker 7: as he was sliding, put him in a concussion protocol.
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: Now is three games too much time? BEFU?
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: That hit that's more.
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: I think that was a bit much.
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: I get that.
- 1:11:06Speaker 7: Well, it's three games because right now we're leading the division. Now,
- 1:11:09Speaker 7: don't take all our players, is what I'm thinking.
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: I haven't seen the play, but hit a couple of
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: facts out. It was a quarterback that was slide. Okay, now,
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: and what is the guy's name that hit him? Shay.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: I'm assuming he is a person of color, very very much,
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: because I ain't never met a white dude named Isaia Shaws.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: I'll leave none of that. I know Trevor Lawrence is
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: a white dude. A white dude quarterback sliding hit by
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: the black Muslim sound and do? And you don't think
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: his answer is getting suspended for three games? What country
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: y'all think we live here?
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: Okay?
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: Didn't doctor Phil tell you this country wasn't built on
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: d I did not he say that.
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: What I'm saying, uncle, is now equality and inclusion.
- 1:12:18Speaker 7: Okay, But I'm saying the slide didn't come in until late.
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: He lucky his ass still in the league.
- 1:12:26Speaker 7: Well, you know what they did, asked, he said they
- 1:12:28Speaker 7: did want him to be suspended for the season.
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: They tried to what I tell you they did try that.
- 1:12:34Speaker 7: Yeah, but it's three games, so I'm just saying it
- 1:12:38Speaker 7: just looked like Trevor Lawrence did slide late and you
- 1:12:41Speaker 7: know it's full speed, so it didn't look like it
- 1:12:43Speaker 7: looked worse than really, Junior.
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: Junior, you're making this a whole story because it's from Texas.
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: You got the sports Yeah, I got.
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: Did we did we win? Players?
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: We need we we didn't win? Yeah, we won a game. No,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: he's talking about Cleveland.
- 1:13:10Speaker 9: Didn't win.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: No, y'all racist ass bigoted sports section because it ain't
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: about nothing but the damn Texans tell them now, y'all
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: didn't win I'm sorry, but.
- 1:13:22Speaker 3: Y'all didn't win again. Back No we are.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: No, we don't showing back.
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: We don't feel no thank you before you.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: Cleveland win to give us back the way y'all, No,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: we don't need to thank you. Jun You're coming up
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. Wife needs some advice, Steve.
- 1:13:44Speaker 8: She wants to cancel her surprise party that she's not
- 1:13:47Speaker 8: supposed to know about.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: We'll get into it right after this. You're listening to
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, So this
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: one's from Mary Ellen in the Bronx.
- 1:13:58Speaker 8: She says, I will be getting nipped and talked on
- 1:14:00Speaker 8: December sixteenth for my sixtieth birthday. My knuckleheaded husband is
- 1:14:05Speaker 8: throwing me a surprise birthday party on the fourteenth, and
- 1:14:08Speaker 8: my two sisters are coming and they want to stay
- 1:14:10Speaker 8: with us. I found out about everything by checking my
- 1:14:13Speaker 8: husband's text messages regularly. He asked my sisters to stay
- 1:14:17Speaker 8: in town for a week so we can all catch up.
- 1:14:19Speaker 8: I bet he wants them here so he won't be
- 1:14:21Speaker 8: able to take care of me after surgery. I don't
- 1:14:25Speaker 8: want the party, and I don't want my sisters to
- 1:14:28Speaker 8: be here while I recover. What can I do to
- 1:14:30Speaker 8: stop his plans to keep my sisters from coming here?
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: This is telling you that you don't want to ever
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: see him in your house.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: Account what she can't tell that to her sister.
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: Surely this is a letter about a woman who don't
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: want her sisters to come to her.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: Huh but I just right right now, just not right now,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: not forever. It's like you said, well, that's tell you
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: a gay And if.
- 1:15:00Speaker 8: She's getting some surgery, you know it's a little tweaking
- 1:15:02Speaker 8: gun and nipping tuck here and there.
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: Why y'all call it a little tweaking. That's a lot
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: of tweaking. That's a lot of.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Major. It's not like Amy tug or you have.
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: That's what she wrote in the letter. You have not
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: seen her.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: You're right, you don't know what this fitting to be.
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: I can only go by what's in the letter, Steve,
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: she said, nipping tuck.
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: I don't I don't really know what to tell. You
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: think your husband was doing a great gesture to get
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: your sisters here. Now you don't want them, so counselor birthday.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: Just telling me you found out about it and you
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: don't want to do that, and tell them it's off,
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: and then tell your sisters why you don't want them
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: to come. See what's she getting done, sir? She's sifty
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: though she needs a lot of people around her. That's
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: a good points sixty And.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: She said I was getting nipped in touch.
- 1:16:06Speaker 9: Yeah, so you think she's getting a new butt maybe,
- 1:16:08Speaker 9: and the butt ain't gonna be in hell yet or something.
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: At sixty, you think she want a new boy.
- 1:16:14Speaker 3: I don't know who want a new buddy?
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: Sixty might use we got it sixty because it dare
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: be used up anyway.
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: So maybe she's getting a Tommy.
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: Tuck or you know, you a sixty year old but
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: got a lot of use in it, and you have,
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: really the usage has been just incredible.
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: I don't think you need to worry about how.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: Breast augmentation, breast left and all that.
- 1:16:42Speaker 8: Maybe that all right, all right, we have time for
- 1:16:46Speaker 8: another one, Steve. This is from Reggie and Glendale.
- 1:16:49Speaker 10: Uh.
- 1:16:49Speaker 8: Reggie says, I fell in love with the one night standing.
- 1:16:52Speaker 8: Now that she's sleeping with another man. Uh, everyone's telling me,
- 1:16:57Speaker 8: I told you so. I believe that people can change,
- 1:17:00Speaker 8: and I believe she will eventually realize that I love
- 1:17:02Speaker 8: her and I'm not going anywhere. I've been with her
- 1:17:05Speaker 8: four years and the guy she's having sex with told
- 1:17:07Speaker 8: me they've been messing around for about a year. The
- 1:17:10Speaker 8: sad part is that he doesn't even want to be
- 1:17:13Speaker 8: with her. Am I a fool for being the only
- 1:17:15Speaker 8: one that wants this chick?
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: You're a real damn food, Reggie, Reggie, a man told
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: you I'm sleeping with her for the past year.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: Reggie dog dog what?
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: First of all, yeah, but see something wrong with Reggie,
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: because got the nerve to walk up to you and go, hey,
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: but I'm sleeping with your girl, been sleeping with her
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: for a year. Why, I'm Reggie Dog's That's some guts
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: man to be able to do that. Who almost said something?
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: I'm so glad I felt that. Then we need this
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: show really bad?
- 1:18:00Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: Is he being a fool?
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: Beyond the food?
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: Don't? People can change, but you have to wait on
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: them to change. Right now, she the same? I got it,
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: I got she gonna change, But right now she the

- 1:23:08Speaker 8: you rather play uno with the family?
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: Say what?
- 1:23:12Speaker 8: Would you rather watch football on Christmas Day? Or would

- 1:24:53Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are last break of the day.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: It's been a great day, Steve. Now we need some
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: c wisdom.
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: You know what I like to say, something encouraging the people.
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: Listen to piece of advice. Listen, keep a positive attitude.
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: Remain positive as often as much as you can. A
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: positive attitude is important, man, it is important.
- 1:25:24Speaker 3: Listen to me.
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: Your your feelings. Your feelings are a barometer of your
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: thoughts over the past period of time. Like, for example,
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: somebody taught me one time, they said, hey, Steve, if
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: you really if you find yourself in a gloomy mood,
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: if you find yourself kind of off ciner, if you
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: find yourself feeling a little despondent or troubled, all you
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: got to do is track your thoughts for the last
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: hour and that will explain your mood. Because your mood
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: is a barometer. It's like a It just tells you
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: what you've been thinking. So it's imperative that you control
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: what you think. And here's the part that most people
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: don't understand. You have the power to control what you think. Now,
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: are random thoughts gonna run through your mind. Have you
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: ever been praying sometime and you wander off and start
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: thinking about something else, And you gotta get back to
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: the prayer.
- 1:26:23Speaker 3: Yeah, that's gonna happen. You're human. Listen to me.
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: That happens everybody. I don't care if you the Pope,
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: I don't care. If you're a priest. I don't care
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: if you Billy Graham, I don't care if you Tdjakes.
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: I don't care if you Crefloed.
- 1:26:34Speaker 3: I don't care. You are a human being.
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: Sometimes random thoughts will come through your mind, but you
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: can seize control of it because your mind is yours.
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: It is the most powerful tool you have. Your mind
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: is more important than your gift to your talent, because
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: if you don't have the right mental attitude, your gift
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: of talent can go to war. You have got to
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: get control of your thoughts. And okay, so Steve, how
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: do you do that?
- 1:27:06Speaker 3: Listen to me.
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: When negativity comes your way, get a balance on it. Now,
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: I'm human. Sometimes that negative thought, I just keep running
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: it over in my head over and over and over.
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: But I got to hear them. Get rid of this man,
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: because you attract things to you based on how you think.
- 1:27:30Speaker 2: I've said this a million times to women. If you
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: think all men or dogs, prepare yourself to meet every
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: last one of them, because that's the thought that you're projecting.
- 1:27:43Speaker 2: What we have to understand is our mental capacity. Our
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: thoughts are our remote control.
- 1:27:48Speaker 3: To the universe.
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: If you come into your house and you take your
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: remote control and you point it at your TV and
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: you press the on button and you're looking at your TV,
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: what do you expect to happen? You expect your TV
- 1:28:01Speaker 2: to come on? Guess what happens your TV comes on?
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: If HBO is channel four hundred and you press four too,
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: and then you press select, what do you expect to
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: see on your TV?
- 1:28:15Speaker 3: HBO? Guess what comes on your TV? HBO.
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: Do you know where they got the concept of the
- 1:28:20Speaker 2: remote from. They got it from the Bible, because the
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: Bible says a man is as he thinketh So they
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: put that thought into the micro, into the remote, and
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: you can point it at your TV and whatever that
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: remote thinks, that's what the TV becomes.
- 1:28:38Speaker 3: Your life is your television set.
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: What you press on the button in your mind is
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: what will come up on the screen in your life.
- 1:28:48Speaker 3: I promise you that's what it is. It works no
- 1:28:51Speaker 3: other way.
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: All of us are where we are today because we
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: thought ourselves to this position. You can be mad at
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: it if you want to, But you did this, you
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: did it. If you sitting there in peace, you did it.
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: If you sitting there in turmoil, you did it. If
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: you have good days and bad days, which we all have,
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: we did it. If you've accomplished everything you wanted to
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: accomplish in your life, that's because that's how you thought yourself.
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: If you're working on your dreams and building your aspirations
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: and hopes, it's because that's what you think about doing
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: all the time. That's how it works, y'all. And you
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: don't have to be where you are. You don't have
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: to remain in any condition you don't like. All you
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: have to do is change the way you think. That
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: is the beginning of the process. It works no other way.
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: Please listen to me when I'm telling you this, because
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: this is important information. You can change your whole trajectory
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: of your life with how you think. All you got
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: to do is change the way you think. It is
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: a clear cut scripture that Bible says a man is
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: as he thinking. That is a real deal.
- 1:30:08Speaker 4: Man.
- 1:30:11Speaker 2: I was talking with a group of men one day
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: and somebody asked this group of men, said, why you
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: always talking about money, the dude said, because that's what
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: I'm trying to accomplish. He said, but it's other things
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: in life. He said, that's fine, that's fine. You think
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: about him. He said, what about family? He said, that's
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: in my thought process because if I make enough money,
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: I can take better care of my family. He said,
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: but what about your health? He said, if I'm making
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: enough money, I could take care of my health. I
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: could get trainers, doctors, dentists, all of that. He said,
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: But why you got it all tied around money? He said,
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: young man, you have the power to think whatever you
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: want to think. He looked at him, and I don't
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: know why he said this? Out of know he said.
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: He said, why you look high to me? He said,
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: what that got to do with anything? He said, you
- 1:30:58Speaker 2: look high to me?
- 1:31:00Speaker 3: He said.
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: The reason you look high to me, he said, because
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: I've been smelling you. You smell like weed. He said,
- 1:31:05Speaker 2: why are you always smoking weed? He said, Bruden, sir,
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: that ain't got nothing to do with what we're talking about.
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: He said, you think about weed, I think about money.
- 1:31:15Speaker 3: Now what you want to.
- 1:31:18Speaker 2: Tada A man is as he thinks. Change the way
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: you think, Change the way you live. Those are my
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: closing remarks today. I have a good one. The thing
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: y'all talk to God.
