- 0:00Speaker 1: Biden Energy advisor says, we need to have an s
- 0:05Speaker 1: pr S patroying reserves that's four than it is today.
- 0:10Speaker 1: He says they're waiting for seventy dollars a barrel oil,
- 0:14Speaker 1: also claiming now we've still got four hundred million barrels
- 0:17Speaker 1: of Also we're just fine even though this is the
- 0:19Speaker 1: lowest it's ever been in our lifetime. The Palace injury. Well, okay,
- 0:24Speaker 1: so a couple of things. Number one, China lockdowns yea,
- 0:29Speaker 1: and the FED raising rates and trying to orchestrate maybe
- 0:33Speaker 1: a slowdown at least, whether it's our assessment or not,
- 0:37Speaker 1: Those aren't the greatest ways to lower the price of all. Plus,
- 0:41Speaker 1: we've been, you know, tapping the SPR, which a lot
- 0:43Speaker 1: of people criticize, especially if we're down below eighty dollars.
- 0:47Speaker 1: We're not the day we're back up, but definitely time
- 0:50Speaker 1: to end that. Would you start buying when would you
- 0:52Speaker 1: start buying back the oil to try to replenish that?
- 0:55Speaker 1: What kind of price would we be talking about? So
- 0:59Speaker 1: we agree with you. Look, we've been tapping the SPR
- 1:02Speaker 1: and I don't think there's much criticism today for what
- 1:04Speaker 1: we've done. That was a critical part the releases from
- 1:09Speaker 1: the SPR are critical part of bringing prices down when
- 1:11Speaker 1: we did them. Just imagine if we had not increased
- 1:14Speaker 1: supplied by a million barrels a day. But today we
- 1:17Speaker 1: have to we have to be really opportunistic and look
- 1:20Speaker 1: at the market and where it is to see if
- 1:22Speaker 1: it makes sense to do continued SPR releases. The President
- 1:26Speaker 1: would like to replenish the SPR and full of what
- 1:30Speaker 1: we release, an additional hundred and eighty to two hundred
- 1:32Speaker 1: million barrels. And I think when prices start reaching towards
- 1:35Speaker 1: that seventy dollars mark, that's when we're probably going to
- 1:38Speaker 1: be looking at somewhere around that range of seventy seventy
- 1:43Speaker 1: two seventy three, or maybe a little bit below that,
- 1:46Speaker 1: we'll look to immediately begin to increase and to repurchase
- 1:52Speaker 1: oil into the SPR. And that's because we need to
- 1:54Speaker 1: have an SPR that is full than it is today
- 1:58Speaker 1: for national security and economic emergencies. In the future. We
- 2:02Speaker 1: still have four hundred million barrels. That's a lot of barrels.
- 2:04Speaker 1: We still can manage any emergency. But looking into the future,
- 2:08Speaker 1: when prices come down into that seventy dollars range, we're
- 2:11Speaker 1: gonna look to be buyers in the market. Well, I
- 2:15Speaker 1: love this. We're gonna look to be buyers in the market,
- 2:17Speaker 1: So seventy dollars until then, if anything hits the fan,
- 2:22Speaker 1: our oil reserves are going to just be gone right
- 2:25Speaker 1: by an energy secretary so also says gas prices have
- 2:28Speaker 1: been coming down sharply for the last couple of months,
- 2:31Speaker 1: so you should be happy with what they've done. Percent
- 2:34Speaker 1: Joe crude oil this morning taking a quick look. Prices
- 2:39Speaker 1: dropped sharply yesterday on a Wall Street Journal report that
- 2:42Speaker 1: OPEC plus might increase output by five hundred thousand barrels
- 2:45Speaker 1: a day in December. You can see we're back above
- 2:48Speaker 1: eighty eighty one fifty nine. Crewde rebounded when the Saudi
- 2:52Speaker 1: Arabian energy minister denied the journal's report, stateside triple ASA's
- 2:57Speaker 1: national average gas prices are down eleven cents a week
- 3:00Speaker 1: a gallon in the past week, almost husting. Special Presidential
- 3:05Speaker 1: a coordinator for international energy affairs, joins us, Now he's
- 3:09Speaker 1: you're there. You're there for a lot of these discussions.
- 3:12Speaker 1: You probably know what's going on almost. I just don't
- 3:15Speaker 1: know if you're willing to totally share with us what's
- 3:18Speaker 1: going on. So these delegates definitely said that there might
- 3:22Speaker 1: be an increase. What shall we take of the from
- 3:27Speaker 1: the Salady minister pushing back on that. Do you know
- 3:31Speaker 1: where it stands right now on what they're gonna do. Well,
- 3:35Speaker 1: good morning, Joe, and thanks for having me. Look, we're
- 3:39Speaker 1: definitely not party to any OPEC deliberations. We're not members
- 3:43Speaker 1: of OPEC or any organization setting prices. The President's been
- 3:48Speaker 1: really focused on trying to bring prices down here in
- 3:50Speaker 1: the United States, specifically to consumers, and that's what we've
- 3:54Speaker 1: been trying to do and make sure that I know
- 3:57Speaker 1: we focus a lot on brand, but WTI the American
- 3:59Speaker 1: prices down to about eighty dollars and gasoline prices have
- 4:04Speaker 1: been coming down sharply for the last many weeks now
- 4:07Speaker 1: a couple of months, so we're we're very pleased to
- 4:10Speaker 1: see the prices coming down. We want to make sure
- 4:13Speaker 1: that both that oil companies, both the national oil companies
- 4:17Speaker 1: around the world and oil companies here at home, continue
- 4:19Speaker 1: to increase production to bring prices further down. This is
- 4:23Speaker 1: an administration that now is asking you to give them
- 4:26Speaker 1: credit for them giving you high gas prices, but then
- 4:30Speaker 1: trying to claim that they're bringing down those gas prices.
- 4:33Speaker 1: So in their words, hey, look it's not that bad, right,
- 4:38Speaker 1: It's it's it's really just not that bad. The economy is.
- 4:45Speaker 1: You know, it could be a lot worse, so understand
- 4:49Speaker 1: it's just not that bad. Now, before I get into
- 4:53Speaker 1: more of this story, I want to tell you about
- 4:55Speaker 1: our friends over at turtle Box. Ladies, do you want

- 5:51Speaker 1: Audio dot Com promo code Ben Turtlebox Audio dot Com
- 5:56Speaker 1: promo code Ben, the Biden Energy Advisor says, you know
- 6:01Speaker 1: that we are we are trying to get prices down
- 6:05Speaker 1: for you, and part of that is them giving immunity
- 6:09Speaker 1: to the guy over in Saudi Arabia who butchered an
- 6:12Speaker 1: American journalist, which Joe Biden said there would be hell
- 6:16Speaker 1: to pay for that. You may remember how they lured
- 6:18Speaker 1: him to come to a consulate or an embassy and
- 6:23Speaker 1: they took him inside and they butchered him with a
- 6:25Speaker 1: bone saw, took him out the back in a bag,
- 6:30Speaker 1: dead body, murdered a journalist who was writing things that
- 6:34Speaker 1: that they didn't like in Saudi Arabia about MBS. The
- 6:38Speaker 1: Biden administration said that there would be hell to pay
- 6:41Speaker 1: for this. Then Biden needed the oil right and so
- 6:43Speaker 1: now they're wanting, you know, they're going to give immunity.
- 6:48Speaker 1: The MBS immunity decision. The White House is now claiming,
- 6:51Speaker 1: as quote strictly legal, there is no quid pro quo
- 6:54Speaker 1: for lower oil prices. They're also claiming Saudia denies oil
- 7:00Speaker 1: output hike. Top White House Energy advisors saying this about
- 7:04Speaker 1: that whole fiasco production to bring as far as as
- 7:08Speaker 1: palace intrigue. And I know you know this stuff, and
- 7:10Speaker 1: I know you can't probably tell us. But when the
- 7:13Speaker 1: Body Administration told the Federal court judge that MBS Mohammed
- 7:20Speaker 1: den Solman has sovereign immunity from this lawsuit, that was
- 7:24Speaker 1: that was that was nice, That was conciliatory. And there
- 7:27Speaker 1: had been some acrimony between the United States and the Saudis. Uh.
- 7:33Speaker 1: It just seems interesting that that they would even after
- 7:37Speaker 1: cutting that they'd even broached the possibility of cooperating, UH,
- 7:42Speaker 1: right before Russia, right before the cap goes maybe goes
- 7:45Speaker 1: on Russian oil. It's like they're they're helping us out
- 7:48Speaker 1: right after. And I would say that was the right
- 7:51Speaker 1: move for them because of the China situation in the lockdowns,
- 7:55Speaker 1: it made sense for the Saudies to cut production because
- 7:58Speaker 1: oil all of a sudden was seventy nine dollars almost
- 8:01Speaker 1: So is there any quid pro quo behind that that
- 8:06Speaker 1: we're being nicer than them and they might cooperate there's
- 8:10Speaker 1: no quid pro quo. I think that the decision on
- 8:14Speaker 1: the immunity was a strict legal decision by the lawyers
- 8:18Speaker 1: about him becoming a prime minister, and determination that was
- 8:22Speaker 1: made by the lawyers that was not done by policymakers,
- 8:26Speaker 1: but really just a legal one. As far as their
- 8:29Speaker 1: decision to cut, you know we you know, you and
- 8:31Speaker 1: I may disagree on that. I think that a two
- 8:34Speaker 1: million cut announcement at the time was we did not
- 8:37Speaker 1: believe was warranted. I think that prices were at about
- 8:40Speaker 1: eighty eight or eighty seven when they announced that, it
- 8:43Speaker 1: went up to almost one hundred dollars and settled back down,
- 8:47Speaker 1: mostly because you know, when you announced a cut at
- 8:49Speaker 1: two million, what we all know is that two million
- 8:52Speaker 1: is not going to be cut, and most countries are
- 8:54Speaker 1: not going to position to cut production and definitely not
- 8:58Speaker 1: cut exports. So I think that where their deliberations are
- 9:01Speaker 1: not connected to the policymaking and they're gonna have to
- 9:04Speaker 1: make their own decisions. I think this part of the
- 9:07Speaker 1: stress in the market is when you have these monthly
- 9:10Speaker 1: palace intrigues, you know, every month, every couple of months,
- 9:13Speaker 1: versus what they used to do, which is to meet
- 9:15Speaker 1: a lot less frequently. But we're again, I'm not going
- 9:19Speaker 1: to get into the palace intrigue there as you called it,
- 9:21Speaker 1: but rather focus on bringing the prices down and do
- 9:24Speaker 1: what we have to do here at home. Almost I
- 9:27Speaker 1: love the palace intrigue. We're not going to get into that. Really,
- 9:29Speaker 1: I bet you're not. You give this guy immunity. No
- 9:33Speaker 1: one saying what you're saying about the law right No
- 9:35Speaker 1: one's saying what you're claiming right now about any of this,
- 9:38Speaker 1: and then you're gonna sit there and go, oh wow,
- 9:40Speaker 1: We're just not going to get into this palace immunity.
- 9:42Speaker 1: We're not going to talk about it all right, real quick,
- 9:45Speaker 1: let me pause and tell you about our incredible friends
- 9:48Speaker 1: over at Patriot Mobile. They are America's only Christian conservative
- 9:53Speaker 1: cell phone provider. They want to make it easy for
- 9:56Speaker 1: you to try switching to Patriot Mobile from whatever service
- 10:00Speaker 1: you have right now. You can give them sixty days
- 10:03Speaker 1: to show you why I use Patriot Mobile and why
- 10:05Speaker 1: you should make the switch right now. When you try
- 10:08Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile for two months, you get your third month free,
- 10:13Speaker 1: plus you get free activation now. They offer nationwide coverage
- 10:16Speaker 1: on the best four G and five G networks, and
- 10:19Speaker 1: they use the same exact cell towers of all of
- 10:22Speaker 1: the three other major carriers. You're gonna get the same
- 10:25Speaker 1: coverage you have right now, You get the same grade service,
- 10:28Speaker 1: You get to keep your same cell phone number if
- 10:29Speaker 1: you want to. You can even usually use the same
- 10:31Speaker 1: phone you have in your hand right now. Now, why
- 10:34Speaker 1: do you want to switch? When you do, they actually
- 10:36Speaker 1: stand up for First and Second Amendment rights, and they
- 10:39Speaker 1: give a portion of your bill every month back to
- 10:42Speaker 1: conservative Christian causes that we all believe in. So, if
- 10:47Speaker 1: you're ready to support a comy that's fighting to preserve
- 10:50Speaker 1: our God given rights and our freedoms, just go to
- 10:53Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson. That's Patriot Mobile dot
- 10:58Speaker 1: com slash ferguson, or you can call them nine seven
- 11:02Speaker 1: to Patriot. It's nine seven to Patriot. If you're fed
- 11:05Speaker 1: up with woke companies that don't care about your values,
- 11:08Speaker 1: support a company that actually does make the switch today
- 11:11Speaker 1: get a free month of service plus free activation Patriot
- 11:15Speaker 1: Mobile dot com slush ferguson or nine seven two Patriot.
- 11:22Speaker 1: How many of you want Mike Pence to run for
- 11:25Speaker 1: President of the United States of America. He seems to
- 11:30Speaker 1: believe that the majority of you want him to run
- 11:34Speaker 1: for president. Now he has come out and he has
- 11:38Speaker 1: had a lot to say, a significant amount to say
- 11:43Speaker 1: about Donald Trump. He's even said he is thinking about
- 11:46Speaker 1: testifying at the Marlago. He said that the Americans and
- 11:54Speaker 1: his words, must stop attacking the FBI, just like we
- 11:57Speaker 1: wouldn't say it about defund the police. Here is Mike
- 12:01Speaker 1: Pence over the weekend tax on the FBI and the stuff.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Calls to defund the FBI are just as wrong as
- 12:09Speaker 1: calls to defund the police. The truth matter is we
- 12:17Speaker 1: need to get to the bottom of whatever. We need
- 12:20Speaker 1: to let the facts play out, and I will continue
- 12:23Speaker 1: to call on the Attorney General and the Justice Department
- 12:26Speaker 1: to make that information available to the American people, and
- 12:31Speaker 1: do so now, and it's in panic, and do so now.
- 12:37Speaker 1: It's very clear now that Mike Pence is wanting you
- 12:41Speaker 1: to look at him as a guy that was there.
- 12:47Speaker 1: He was at the Capitol on January sixth, and this
- 12:51Speaker 1: is a big deal. Mike Pence also speaking out against
- 12:55Speaker 1: us trying to quote control Americans, and you can decide
- 12:59Speaker 1: who you think he's telling you, not to listen to anymore.
- 13:03Speaker 1: He's out there barnstorming the country writing this big tell
- 13:07Speaker 1: all book, criticizing now Donald Trump and doing basically the
- 13:13Speaker 1: opposite of everything that Trump ever did. At the end
- 13:16Speaker 1: of his political time in office, here's Mike Pence being
- 13:21Speaker 1: out against those trying to quote control Americans. In the
- 13:24Speaker 1: midst of all of that, I'm sure you all heard there,
- 13:27Speaker 1: they've also authorized the hiring of eighty seven thousand i
- 13:31Speaker 1: RS agents. You know, when Ronald Reagan spoke in nineteen
- 13:35Speaker 1: sixty four about a little intellectual elite in a far
- 13:41Speaker 1: distant capital who thought they could plan our lives better
- 13:46Speaker 1: than we could plan them for ourselves, he I think
- 13:49Speaker 1: it could scarcely imagine the big government socialism of the
- 13:54Speaker 1: left wing climate agenda that's being implemented in Washington. You
- 14:00Speaker 1: see today, as we gather here today, I submit to
- 14:04Speaker 1: all of you, as I've set around the country, American
- 14:08Speaker 1: freedom is under attack as never before. Big media, big government,
- 14:13Speaker 1: even big business of locked arms to advance a pernicious,
- 14:17Speaker 1: woke agenda designed to control the American people and destroy
- 14:20Speaker 1: the American dream. Ruling elites in Washington have never been
- 14:24Speaker 1: more out of touch with the values and ideals of
- 14:28Speaker 1: everyday Americans that I can agree with. By the way,
- 14:31Speaker 1: I got agree with that. But then you go back
- 14:34Speaker 1: to this big sit down with CBS Face the Nation,
- 14:38Speaker 1: Vice President Pence talking about January six and this is
- 14:43Speaker 1: going to be the crutch of his campaign. Obviously, he
- 14:45Speaker 1: believes this is what will take him to the Holy
- 14:47Speaker 1: Land to be the president. And in this big sit
- 14:50Speaker 1: down interview about his book about January the sixth, it's
- 14:55Speaker 1: all about January sixth, because this is when you're a
- 14:57Speaker 1: useful idiot to the Democrats. They want to focus on
- 14:59Speaker 1: January six right, January sixth is everything to them, so
- 15:03Speaker 1: you will become their useful idiot. Listen. Before the appointment
- 15:06Speaker 1: of a special counsel was announced last week, we spoke
- 15:09Speaker 1: with former Vice President Mike Pence about his new book,
- 15:12Speaker 1: So Help Me God. In our wide ranging conversation, mister
- 15:16Speaker 1: Pence details extensively his story up to and including the
- 15:19Speaker 1: January sixth attack. The President's words and actions in and
- 15:24Speaker 1: around January six were reckless. The tweet that he issued
- 15:28Speaker 1: the day that I was in the loading dock before
- 15:32Speaker 1: below the United States Senate endangered my family and endangered
- 15:39Speaker 1: people that were in the Capitol and was indefensible. Why
- 15:43Speaker 1: did it take you two years to talk about your anger.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Weren't you incandescent with rage that your family was put
- 15:53Speaker 1: at risk like that? Margaret? I was angry that day
- 15:59Speaker 1: and many days sense well. On January sixth, I have
- 16:04Speaker 1: to tell you that I had to put that aside.
- 16:06Speaker 1: The President had decided to be a part of the problem.
- 16:09Speaker 1: I was determined to be a part of the solution,
- 16:12Speaker 1: to work with leaders in Congress, leaders at the Pentagon,
- 16:15Speaker 1: leaders in law enforcement, to do our part, to finish
- 16:18Speaker 1: our work under the constitution. You were calling and trying
- 16:22Speaker 1: to get the National Guard to come in and restore order.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Did you feel you had to do that because the
- 16:28Speaker 1: commander in chief was derelict in his duties, Margaret, I
- 16:31Speaker 1: didn't know what the President was doing at the time.
- 16:33Speaker 1: I wasn't at the White House. I had no contact
- 16:37Speaker 1: with the President or the White House that day. But
- 16:41Speaker 1: when I spoke to the congressional leaders in our first
- 16:43Speaker 1: conference call, they informed me that they were getting mixed
- 16:47Speaker 1: messages from security personnel, and I asked them if they
- 16:53Speaker 1: wanted me to get involved, and they did. Do you
- 16:57Speaker 1: think President Trump needs to be held responsible in his events,
- 17:01Speaker 1: in the events that led to January sixth and the
- 17:04Speaker 1: violence of that day. Well, I think everyone that perpetrated
- 17:08Speaker 1: the violence at the Capitol needs to be held at
- 17:09Speaker 1: the strictest account. What about those who fed it? What
- 17:12Speaker 1: about those who gave it oxygen? The lie, oxygen to
- 17:15Speaker 1: mislead people. I'm confident that the American people will hold
- 17:19Speaker 1: all those responsible at the end of the day, and
- 17:23Speaker 1: history will be their judge. In my book, in other words,
- 17:28Speaker 1: the American people, he's saying, are gonna hold Donald Trump accountable,
- 17:32Speaker 1: right because he was a part of it. That's what
- 17:35Speaker 1: he's saying, right here, Make no mistake about it. That's
- 17:37Speaker 1: what he's saying. And again, is this how Mike Pence
- 17:41Speaker 1: runs for president? Is this something that you as a voter?
- 17:45Speaker 1: You hear this, you go, yes, that is what we've
- 17:47Speaker 1: been missing. He's saying, the American people are gonna hold
- 17:52Speaker 1: Donald Trump accountable. Here's more of that interview that he
- 17:56Speaker 1: did with Face and Nation. Take a listen, let's lead people.
- 17:59Speaker 1: I'm that the American people will hold all those responsible
- 18:04Speaker 1: at the end of the day, and history will be
- 18:06Speaker 1: their judge. I mean, in my book, what I tried
- 18:11Speaker 1: to do is share a candid story about the evolution
- 18:16Speaker 1: of that controversy. President and I had been came to
- 18:18Speaker 1: at least five times. You lay it out in detail
- 18:21Speaker 1: leading up to January sixth, and it's almost like you
- 18:24Speaker 1: couldn't believe this because you kept telling him over and
- 18:27Speaker 1: over it this is not legal, this is not constitutional.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Do you look back and say, I wasn't forceful enough,
- 18:34Speaker 1: and what could you have done differently? Well, I did
- 18:37Speaker 1: tell the President many times that after he exhausted every
- 18:43Speaker 1: legal challenge that the campaign had every right to pursue,
- 18:49Speaker 1: that he should simply accept the results. The President was
- 18:51Speaker 1: hearing from a cadre of attorneys who frankly should never
- 18:55Speaker 1: have been left on the White House grounds, let alone
- 18:58Speaker 1: in the Oval Office, telling him what, as the Bible says,
- 19:02Speaker 1: his itching ears wanted to hear. My hope was that
- 19:07Speaker 1: at the end of the day he would come around.
- 19:09Speaker 1: I remember on the night of January fourth, we had
- 19:14Speaker 1: a meeting with the President and part of that legal
- 19:18Speaker 1: team in the Oval Office. The President left on the helicopter.
- 19:23Speaker 1: There were no harsh words between us, but he was
- 19:25Speaker 1: continuing to make his case, and I was continuing to
- 19:28Speaker 1: make my position clear. But it is rally in Georgia
- 19:32Speaker 1: which I watched on television, the President actually opening the
- 19:36Speaker 1: rally by speaking about me. I hope that our great
- 19:39Speaker 1: vice president, our great vice president comes through for us.
- 19:44Speaker 1: He's a great guy us. If he doesn't come through,
- 19:49Speaker 1: I won't like him quite as much. But then he
- 19:51Speaker 1: paused and he said to the crowd, Now, no one
- 19:56Speaker 1: thing you know about Mike Pence is he always plays
- 19:58Speaker 1: it straight. And then he called you the next day.
- 20:00Speaker 1: I remember in that moment thinking he might be coming around,
- 20:05Speaker 1: but he wasn't. My continued hope was that at the
- 20:09Speaker 1: end of the day he would recognize what our duty
- 20:12Speaker 1: was on that day as the presiding officer under the Constitution,
- 20:17Speaker 1: to oversee the count of the electoral vote of an
- 20:20Speaker 1: election that we lost. But it was not to be.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Will you answer questions about that day before Congress? Congress
- 20:27Speaker 1: has no right to my testimony. We have a separation
- 20:31Speaker 1: of powers under the Constitution of the United States, and
- 20:35Speaker 1: I believe it would establish a terrible precedent for the
- 20:38Speaker 1: Congress to summon a vice president of the United States
- 20:41Speaker 1: to speak about deliberations that took place at the White House.
- 20:46Speaker 1: You're closing the door on that entire I'm closing the
- 20:50Speaker 1: door on that. But I must say again that the
- 20:53Speaker 1: partisan nature of the January sixth committee has been a
- 20:57Speaker 1: disappointment to me. The lawyers and that chief of staff
- 21:00Speaker 1: to the President at the time, the Mark Meadows, who
- 21:03Speaker 1: let those lawyers you said had no business on the
- 21:05Speaker 1: White House grounds. Do you think no consequence only prosecute
- 21:09Speaker 1: the people who actually physically went to the Capitol. There
- 21:12Speaker 1: are those that are speaking in defense of people that
- 21:16Speaker 1: ride at the Capitol and created the conditions where lives
- 21:20Speaker 1: were lost. But I believe everyone that was rioting in
- 21:24Speaker 1: the Capitol that day and perpetrating violence needs to be
- 21:27Speaker 1: held to the strictest account of the law. But I
- 21:30Speaker 1: do believe that at the end of the day, the
- 21:35Speaker 1: American people will hold accountable on those that permitted the
- 21:41Speaker 1: circumstances around which January sixth was able to flourish into
- 21:47Speaker 1: violence that day. You also think the FBI executing a
- 21:51Speaker 1: search warrant to take classified material from the former president's
- 21:54Speaker 1: home was not the way the Justice Department should have
- 21:56Speaker 1: handled it. But to be clear, were you ever personally
- 22:01Speaker 1: concerned about mister Trump's handling of classified information. I don't
- 22:05Speaker 1: recall every being concerned about the President or anyone on
- 22:09Speaker 1: our administration's handling of classified information, at least among the
- 22:13Speaker 1: senior staff of which I had regular contact. But if
- 22:18Speaker 1: he had, he would be prosecuted. You would think. Let
- 22:22Speaker 1: me say, you know, no one is above the law.
- 22:26Speaker 1: But as someone that served on the Judiciary Committee for
- 22:28Speaker 1: more than ten years, having oversight over the Justice Department,
- 22:33Speaker 1: I just think there were many better ways to obtain
- 22:39Speaker 1: those classified materials from Marlago than to execute a search
- 22:43Speaker 1: warrant against the former president of the United States of America,
- 22:46Speaker 1: something that had never happened in American history, Margaret, and
- 22:49Speaker 1: never been prosecuted. Do you think that that My hope
- 22:56Speaker 1: is that the Justice Department will think very carefully about
- 23:00Speaker 1: the next steps. I mean, this is a very divided
- 23:03Speaker 1: time in the life of our nation. I think our
- 23:05Speaker 1: nation needs to heal. But the idea of executing a
- 23:08Speaker 1: search warrant against a former president of the United States
- 23:13Speaker 1: sent the wrong message to the American people and frankly
- 23:15Speaker 1: sent the wrong message to the wider world that looks
- 23:18Speaker 1: at the United States of America as the standard. And
- 23:22Speaker 1: that was my disappointment. In the decision to execute a
- 23:25Speaker 1: search warrant. Vice President Pence saying a lot about his
- 23:31Speaker 1: time as the Vice president, at the least at the end,
- 23:35Speaker 1: and making it clear that this is how he sees
- 23:37Speaker 1: a pathway to him becoming the president of the United
- 23:40Speaker 1: States of America. He's a played straight guy. You should
- 23:43Speaker 1: really look at what he has to say. You should
- 23:45Speaker 1: back him, support him, and that he is going to
- 23:48Speaker 1: bring dignity back to the White House. He clearly believes
- 23:52Speaker 1: that there are a lot of people out there They're
- 23:54Speaker 1: going to listen to what he had to say and go, yeah, yeah,
- 23:58Speaker 1: Mike Pence is the guy that I that I want
- 24:00Speaker 1: to lead this nation. And Mike Penn says he will
- 24:04Speaker 1: give peaceful or excuse me, prayerful consideration to possible twenty
- 24:10Speaker 1: twenty four campaign. He said that Gop Kennet's focused on
- 24:14Speaker 1: the future and solving the problems voters face today did
- 24:17Speaker 1: quite well in the midterm elections. He believes he is
- 24:20Speaker 1: that guy. He also said he and his family will
- 24:22Speaker 1: give prayerful consideration over the holiday as whether as whether
- 24:27Speaker 1: he intends to run for president in twenty twenty four. Pence,
- 24:31Speaker 1: who's promoting his new books. So help me, God started
- 24:35Speaker 1: by congratulating Republicans on taking the majority in the US
- 24:38Speaker 1: House of Representatives, and when as a win, I was
- 24:41Speaker 1: in Congress the last time that we defeated Democratic majority
- 24:44Speaker 1: led Speaker Nancy Pelosi. In the day that Pelosi hands
- 24:47Speaker 1: the gavel of Speaker Kevin mccarthury is going to be
- 24:49Speaker 1: a great day for America and an opportunity for us
- 24:52Speaker 1: to start our way back to the policies at the
- 24:54Speaker 1: Trump Pence administration proved make our country secure, prosperous, and
- 25:00Speaker 1: ensure the vitality of our liberties. I welcome that, and
- 25:05Speaker 1: I celebrate the election of a Republican majority in the
- 25:08Speaker 1: House of Representatives without qualification. All right, real quick, I
- 25:12Speaker 1: want to tell you about my good friends over at
- 25:14Speaker 1: Legacy Precious Medals. With the economy really an inflation out
- 25:18Speaker 1: of control in the stock market taking horrific losses, the
- 25:22Speaker 1: NASDAC down more in one month than we've seen back
- 25:25Speaker 1: in two thousand and eight. Was the last time it
- 25:27Speaker 1: was this bad. You may be looking at your financial
- 25:31Speaker 1: portfolio in your sick to your stomach. You're not alone.
- 25:33Speaker 1: The question is if you are not diversified in precious
- 25:38Speaker 1: metals as part of your financial portfolio. Then what would
- 25:41Speaker 1: it look like now maybe if you would have been
- 25:44Speaker 1: it's not too late, by the way, to take advantage
- 25:46Speaker 1: of gold and silver. It is a hedge against inflation,
- 25:50Speaker 1: and it's a way for you to diversify your IRA,
- 25:52Speaker 1: your four oh one K, your investment portfolio. If you've
- 25:56Speaker 1: never looked at gold and silver, there's actually no better
- 25:58Speaker 1: time than right now now. I've been seeing golden silver
- 26:00Speaker 1: for gosh, almost twenty years. I've used it as a
- 26:05Speaker 1: percentage of my strategy to protect myself. So on the
- 26:08Speaker 1: worst days on Wall Street usually they're not as bad
- 26:10Speaker 1: for me as they are for others. Call Legacy Precious

- 26:50Speaker 1: now down fifty five percent for the year. CNN Don
- 26:55Speaker 1: Lemon decided it was a good idea after his own
- 26:58Speaker 1: show had been canceled to mock Elon Musk for sharing
- 27:05Speaker 1: a sexualized photo. He says of Jesus and Twitter to Lerp,
- 27:12Speaker 1: to lure is the correct way to say the word.
- 27:14Speaker 1: But apparently he screwed up the first time. Don't worry,
- 27:16Speaker 1: they fixed online to lure, he said Lerp Trump, Yes,
- 27:22Speaker 1: he actually said it. We're trying to get the original audio,
- 27:25Speaker 1: but that apparently has been fixed in the online version.
- 27:29Speaker 1: They're mocking him because they think that Elon Musk is
- 27:33Speaker 1: an idiot. Why because he actually allowed for free speech
- 27:36Speaker 1: on a platform. And this is what the media is
- 27:39Speaker 1: going to continue to do. They're going to mock anybody
- 27:44Speaker 1: that gets in their way. This is what happened Elon
- 27:46Speaker 1: Musk restoring the former president's Twitter account. He has been
- 27:50Speaker 1: banned from the platform since the capital attack. Trump has
- 27:54Speaker 1: previously said that he does not plan to return to
- 27:56Speaker 1: Twitter and instead will continue to use his truth social platform.
- 28:00Speaker 1: So let's discuss seeing an anchor and correspondent arty. This
- 28:04Speaker 1: is he's being intentionally provocative. I mean that's obvious, right,
- 28:09Speaker 1: because he needs eyes, he needs attention. I mean Elon
- 28:12Speaker 1: Musk to Twitter. And part of this whole thing about
- 28:15Speaker 1: restoring the former president doing a poll about it is
- 28:18Speaker 1: to sort of a look at me, look at me,
- 28:20Speaker 1: look at me. I'm glad you're saying this, because there's
- 28:22Speaker 1: a business reason for that. The context here is Elon
- 28:25Speaker 1: Musk doesn't really believe in advertising. Tesla never really did
- 28:29Speaker 1: advertising because he thinks good products would just sell on
- 28:32Speaker 1: their own. Problem is you just bought a company that
- 28:35Speaker 1: runs on ninety percent advertising and doesn't sell anything, And
- 28:39Speaker 1: so brand safety and how advertisers feel about what is
- 28:44Speaker 1: on the site along with their ads is meaningful. And
- 28:47Speaker 1: lots of them has said they were going to hit
- 28:49Speaker 1: pause when he first bought it and when he first
- 28:51Speaker 1: started talking about trouble. And I can't believe advertisers are
- 28:53Speaker 1: fleeing given what he's tweeted in the last twenty four hours.
- 28:56Speaker 1: There's provocative images talking about Trump basically wanting to get
- 28:59Speaker 1: back on Twitter, like being able to resist the temptation.
- 29:02Speaker 1: But what I was confused about Saturday night is that
- 29:05Speaker 1: when this all happened, Elon Musk said he was going
- 29:08Speaker 1: to form a content Moderation council, no major reinstatements of
- 29:12Speaker 1: Twitter accounts would happen before then. Then he conducts a
- 29:14Speaker 1: Twitter poll on Saturday says Trump should be reinstated. Who
- 29:18Speaker 1: knows who participated in this poll, And now he says
- 29:20Speaker 1: Trump's account is active again. Yeah, I mean, I think
- 29:23Speaker 1: no one's going to be teaching any of this technique
- 29:25Speaker 1: in any like business school case studies going forward like
- 29:29Speaker 1: this has been very messy public And you know, one
- 29:33Speaker 1: piece of context that I think is worth mentioning is
- 29:35Speaker 1: people were treating Twitter like public infrastructure. It was a
- 29:39Speaker 1: space where lots of people came to speak and play
- 29:41Speaker 1: and interact, but it's not public infrastructure. And this is
- 29:45Speaker 1: what happens when a private person, a billionaire, takes over
- 29:49Speaker 1: and kind of dithers around with it. It's kind of
- 29:51Speaker 1: by the way, I was on Twitter this weekend and
- 29:54Speaker 1: you pointed that out, Kaitlin to everyone, reupping what Elon
- 29:57Speaker 1: Musk had tweeted about this council. He sort of guarantees
- 30:01Speaker 1: that he did, I think, as he was looking to
- 30:02Speaker 1: acquire the company and sort of checks that people thought
- 30:06Speaker 1: might be in place. But but to your point, about
- 30:09Speaker 1: a billionaire taking over and taking it private. So there
- 30:12Speaker 1: are none of these A mayor like you know, I mean,
- 30:15Speaker 1: I think we've gotten used to CEOs in Silicon Valley,
- 30:18Speaker 1: maybe kind of nodding towards like appeasing the public when
- 30:22Speaker 1: they think the eye is on them and that's not
- 30:25Speaker 1: his game. He doesn't care. There's no board, there's no
- 30:28Speaker 1: board to check him. No, there's no share price to
- 30:31Speaker 1: check him. There's a there's a desperation aspect of this.
- 30:35Speaker 1: It seems really desperate or as we say in the vernacular,
- 30:38Speaker 1: now thirsty, because as Kaitlin mentioned, this provocative image that
- 30:44Speaker 1: he tweeted about, I think it was a Jesus, and
- 30:46Speaker 1: you know there's someone tempting Jesus a woman and you
- 30:49Speaker 1: know that I can hear you guys talking around. This
- 30:51Speaker 1: is a sexualized image, right that he's posting. And I
- 30:53Speaker 1: think it's a really good example of the thirst thing
- 30:56Speaker 1: you're talking about, which is, look at me, look at me,
- 30:59Speaker 1: eyes on this, advertisers, look, eyes are still on this.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Stay with it by any means necessary. You noticed, by
- 31:06Speaker 1: the way, what they're doing here and seen it. The
- 31:08Speaker 1: same people that did these stories over and over and
- 31:13Speaker 1: over and over again about Donald Trump lying about Donald Trump,
- 31:16Speaker 1: Russian collusion, Russia collusion, Russian coclusion for four or five
- 31:20Speaker 1: six years. The same people that have run, you know,
- 31:23Speaker 1: the live raids of Roger Stone, right, they got tipped
- 31:26Speaker 1: off that Roger Stone was going to be rated by
- 31:29Speaker 1: the FBI, these types of thing, the same, the same
- 31:31Speaker 1: early morning raids of his former campaign manager, all of
- 31:37Speaker 1: these different types of things. Okay, to be clear, is
- 31:42Speaker 1: exactly I'll see. And had their good ratings back in
- 31:45Speaker 1: the day. Then they became psychopass hating Donald Trump. They're
- 31:50Speaker 1: still obsessed with Donald Trump, as you can hear in
- 31:52Speaker 1: this conversation. But what's even more interesting than this is
- 31:57Speaker 1: the fact that they just said, you know these you know,
- 32:00Speaker 1: Elon Musk is desperate for attention. They just gave him
- 32:03Speaker 1: four minutes of attention because they know that it would
- 32:07Speaker 1: be probably pretty good for their ratings. Like they're not stupid.
- 32:12Speaker 1: They know that this is going to rate for them,
- 32:14Speaker 1: or they hope that it rates for them, because their
- 32:15Speaker 1: ratings are literally in the toilet. Don Lemon got demoted.
- 32:20Speaker 1: He had his own TV show at night. He has
- 32:23Speaker 1: been demoted. He's now in a morning show that desperately
- 32:32Speaker 1: needs help. Their ratings terrible in the morning, going nowhere,
- 32:42Speaker 1: and now I want to say whether they're mocking Elon
- 32:44Speaker 1: Musk is a businessman. Well, I don't think any case
- 32:47Speaker 1: study right is going to be used in a business
- 32:50Speaker 1: school over what he just did. That's where you're going
- 32:55Speaker 1: with this, like, that's that's literally where you're going with this? Really?
