- 0:04Speaker 1: Come on, uh huh, I sure will.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Good morning everybody.
- 0:13Speaker 1: You are listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 0:17Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Man.
- 0:21Speaker 1: What an amazing blessing. God has given me, my health,
- 0:27Speaker 1: my dreams, all of it. God gave it to me.
- 0:31Speaker 1: I accept it. I work hard, but man, oh man,
- 0:35Speaker 1: oh man, I work hard. It's something that He gave
- 0:38Speaker 1: me a gift. And that's what I want to talk
- 0:41Speaker 1: to you about today. Because God has gifted everyone, so
- 0:45Speaker 1: I can't help but believe it. You are gifted in
- 0:48Speaker 1: some way. Something about you is specially and unique. That
- 0:53Speaker 1: doesn't mean you're the only one that can sing, or
- 0:56Speaker 1: you're the only one that can write. Are you the
- 0:58Speaker 1: only one that can draw, you the only one that
- 1:00Speaker 1: can decorate, Or you're the only one that can network,
- 1:03Speaker 1: or you're the only one that that's not what it means.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Or you have a great scientific mind, or you can
- 1:08Speaker 1: figure things out, or you're good and problem solving. You're
- 1:10Speaker 1: not the only one, but you are a unique individual.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Nobody will travel the exact path that you on. Nobody
- 1:16Speaker 1: will have everything happen in a series of circumstances in
- 1:21Speaker 1: the order that you're going to have it happen to you.
- 1:24Speaker 1: That's what I mean when I say that you are unique.
- 1:27Speaker 1: But now because you are gifted, you know you have
- 1:31Speaker 1: something you have to do. You know, there's a scripture.
- 1:34Speaker 1: It's in Proverbs, Proverbs eighteen and sixteen. I've been trying
- 1:38Speaker 1: to be a little bit better at that for you, you know.
- 1:40Speaker 1: So when I have an idea and I know where
- 1:43Speaker 1: it is, I have somebody look the scripture up from
- 1:45Speaker 1: it handed to me. So it's in Proverbs eighteen sixteen.
- 1:49Speaker 1: And this is the layman's term of it. It says
- 1:52Speaker 1: a man's gift make room for him and brings him
- 1:56Speaker 1: before a great man. It is your gift that will
- 2:00Speaker 1: make room for you. Now my interpretation of this is this.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Now I could be wrong. Please go to your local church, center, god, temple, mosque,
- 2:08Speaker 1: whatever you do, and go get clarification. But what my
- 2:12Speaker 1: gift has done in making room for me is I've
- 2:15Speaker 1: taken it almost in the literal sense. My gift has
- 2:18Speaker 1: actually made room for me. It is clear paths for me.
- 2:22Speaker 1: My gift has opened up doors for me. That's what
- 2:25Speaker 1: I take it as. It'll make room for you. My
- 2:28Speaker 1: gift has has broadened my ability to travel. My gift
- 2:32Speaker 1: has opened my eyes to fashion. My gift has caused
- 2:37Speaker 1: me to be able to provide for my family. My
- 2:41Speaker 1: gift has caused me to be able to reach more people.
- 2:46Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying in terms of it will make
- 2:48Speaker 1: room for you. That it may be another interpretation. I'm
- 2:51Speaker 1: just telling you how I took it, that it has
- 2:53Speaker 1: worked out pretty good for me to that understanding. But
- 2:55Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure Bishop Jakes, Joel Osteen, Kenneth Ohma, God,
- 3:00Speaker 1: Glenn Staples, Bishop Glenn's Table, these guys give you much
- 3:03Speaker 1: better understanding of it. I'm just giving it to you.
- 3:06Speaker 1: You know where I know how sold. I don't know.
- 3:08Speaker 1: I just like to keep it right there. But and
- 3:11Speaker 1: then it says that it brings you before great men.
- 3:15Speaker 1: I mean, you know it's gonna take you places. It's
- 3:18Speaker 1: gonna take you places you never thought of going. You're
- 3:21Speaker 1: gonna meet people because of your gift. I told my son,
- 3:24Speaker 1: who two of them are good photographers. You'll be taking
- 3:27Speaker 1: pictures of great men. And then I mess with them.
- 3:30Speaker 1: You already take the pictures, say your daddy, you know
- 3:31Speaker 1: I'm messing with them like that. But that's just me
- 3:33Speaker 1: and them just kicking it. But you know, but one day,
- 3:36Speaker 1: who knows, you could be shooting the president. You know,
- 3:38Speaker 1: you could be shooting some foreign dignitaries. You know, you
- 3:42Speaker 1: could be shooting great sport events. You know, you never
- 3:44Speaker 1: know where it could take you. But that's your gift.
- 3:47Speaker 1: What you got to do is you got to get
- 3:48Speaker 1: to move and though. See, you can't have your gift
- 3:51Speaker 1: and not do nothing with it.
- 3:52Speaker 2: See. You know what that reminds me of.
- 3:55Speaker 1: It's something that my father used to say, get up
- 3:59Speaker 1: off your butt because you're sitting on a gold mine.
- 4:02Speaker 2: He say that all the time.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Boy, get up off your butt and move it, because
- 4:07Speaker 1: you sitting on a gold mine. I never really quite
- 4:09Speaker 1: got that when I was little, but now that I'm
- 4:11Speaker 1: an adult, I got it full well. See, a lot
- 4:14Speaker 1: of you are sitting You're sitting on a talent or
- 4:17Speaker 1: a gift that you have. You're sitting on an ability.
- 4:20Speaker 1: I don't care if it's making cakes or pies. That's
- 4:23Speaker 1: a gift, man, that's a talent. I don't care if
- 4:26Speaker 1: it's the ability to do hell, that's a gift man.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Half of you are gifted. A lot of us are
- 4:31Speaker 1: gifted and we're sitting on it looking at other people
- 4:35Speaker 1: wondering what can I do to make it? You already
- 4:37Speaker 1: got something to make it with. If you would just
- 4:40Speaker 1: get up off your behind, man, quit sitting on that
- 4:43Speaker 1: gold mine. Some of you are tech savvy, just a
- 4:47Speaker 1: whiz is when it comes to engineering and putting stuff
- 4:50Speaker 1: together and cables and wires and computers and stuff. And
- 4:54Speaker 1: now you steady looking around trying to figure out, Man,
- 4:56Speaker 1: wonder what I can go do? How about you go
- 4:59Speaker 1: do that? You know it ain't that hard, man, if
- 5:02Speaker 1: you would just take note of what God has given
- 5:06Speaker 1: you already.
- 5:07Speaker 2: He has given you a gift already. He has already
- 5:10Speaker 2: given you a talent.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Now the fact that you ain't using it and you
- 5:13Speaker 1: sitting on your tail somewhere now, who fathers what we're
- 5:18Speaker 1: talking about? What you're blaming God for that?
- 5:23Speaker 2: Man?
- 5:23Speaker 1: I tell you what, I sit around people all the
- 5:26Speaker 1: time who are gifted, and I'm looking at their gifts,
- 5:30Speaker 1: and they steady complaining about what they don't have, but
- 5:33Speaker 1: will not get up off there behind and use the
- 5:37Speaker 1: gifts that God gave them.
- 5:39Speaker 2: And it's frustrating.
- 5:40Speaker 1: It's gotta be frustrating for you if you doing it
- 5:44Speaker 1: because it's frustrating.
- 5:45Speaker 2: For me when I see it.
- 5:46Speaker 1: So when these people come to me and ask me
- 5:48Speaker 1: for help, I just keep going.
- 5:49Speaker 2: The same thing over and over.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Help yourself, man, do for you use your gift. It's
- 5:55Speaker 1: a cat sitting behind the wall right now, that's locked up.
- 5:58Speaker 2: That's so good at artistry.
- 6:01Speaker 1: It's cats in that tattoo and everybody, man, get out,
- 6:04Speaker 1: do it the right way. Quit selling drugs. Man, You
- 6:07Speaker 1: ain't going nowhere selling no drugs. You going to jail.
- 6:10Speaker 1: And if that don't do it, somebody gonna get tired
- 6:12Speaker 1: of you selling drugs cause they gon wanna sell them
- 6:14Speaker 1: over and they gonna kill you.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Let's just keep this thing real for just a second here.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Come on, man, get up off your butt, because you're
- 6:21Speaker 1: sitting on the gold mine, and you sit up here.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Somebody always looking for a shortcut to the top. Ain't
- 6:26Speaker 1: no shortcut. Somebody told me this the other day.
- 6:28Speaker 4: Man.
- 6:29Speaker 1: The road to success is always under construction. It ain't paved.
- 6:35Speaker 1: It's got detour signs on it. It's got slow men working.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Sometime they flip the stop sign. You gotta sit there
- 6:43Speaker 1: and wait. Sometime they got slow. That's traffic there's accidents.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Somebody on the road holding up things with a flat tie,
- 6:52Speaker 1: its nails, its gravels, its spike.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Is everything.
- 6:55Speaker 1: The road to success is always under construction. It ain't
- 6:59Speaker 1: get ready to be easy just because you done decided
- 7:02Speaker 1: to do it.
- 7:03Speaker 2: But don't sit.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Around on your behind and complain all the time about
- 7:07Speaker 1: what you don't have. My daddy said it, Man, get
- 7:10Speaker 1: up off your butt because you sitting on the gold mine.
- 7:13Speaker 1: You got a gift, you got a talent, you got
- 7:15Speaker 1: something that you can do that could make a way
- 7:18Speaker 1: for you, but you won't do it.
- 7:21Speaker 2: It is within you. Stop looking around.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Here's where people waste the most time on the road
- 7:26Speaker 1: to success, looking around at somebody else, trying to figure out, Man,
- 7:31Speaker 1: how can I do what they did?
- 7:33Speaker 2: Do what you do? You ain't jay Z, You ain't sorry.
- 7:39Speaker 1: I got a couple of your homies told you you
- 7:41Speaker 1: rap better than him, But you not, jay Z, really
- 7:43Speaker 1: you not. You know, all of us can shot at him,
- 7:46Speaker 1: but we ain't rich a prior, a nice shot. Steve
- 7:51Speaker 1: Bernie dl all of we took some great shots at it.
- 7:54Speaker 2: We not him. Do what you can do? Do you
- 7:58Speaker 2: do your gift? Quick?

- 33:01Speaker 2: opposes diversity. We know that equity and inclusion initiatives and
- 33:08Speaker 2: reductions in the federal workforce and public education have led
- 33:12Speaker 2: to job losses. So what is he talking about? His
- 33:14Speaker 2: policies have created jobs, potentially limiting black Americans' access to
- 33:19Speaker 2: economic and social advancement. That's according to Thegrio dot Com Okay,
- 33:25Speaker 2: which is in direct opposition to what the President said
- 33:28Speaker 2: about himself. Wow, who's de lulu here?
- 33:34Speaker 4: Is it? Us?
- 33:35Speaker 2: I mean? Really, what is going on? Jobs? Taking education?

- 39:48Speaker 4: Man, it's a great opportunity for us to expand and
- 39:51Speaker 4: do something that people.
- 39:52Speaker 12: Have been asking for us for the longest. So it's
- 39:55Speaker 12: were looking forward to being able to finally get the
- 39:57Speaker 12: people what they, you know, have been wanting for my saying,
- 40:00Speaker 12: you know, put the minds of us coming together.
- 40:02Speaker 4: And being able to put a project together like.
- 40:05Speaker 12: That, Like people know that it's gonna be one of
- 40:07Speaker 12: a kind because.
- 40:08Speaker 2: That's what we do.
- 40:08Speaker 4: One of the kind of stuff, stuff that's never been
- 40:10Speaker 4: done before.
- 40:11Speaker 2: And DC is a part of it too, right, DC, Young.
- 40:14Speaker 4: Flock, Yeah, of course, Yeah, that's the unit. He just
- 40:18Speaker 4: said that, like the police is.
- 40:23Speaker 2: You know how I do it? You know how I
- 40:25Speaker 2: do it? Yes, Young want to be there the group?
- 40:30Speaker 2: They go together? What I like about y'all?
- 40:32Speaker 5: Man, y'all, y'all are group. Y'all been together ten years.
- 40:35Speaker 5: First of all, I don't know another comedy group. But
- 40:38Speaker 5: for you guys to be together this long, man, and
- 40:40Speaker 5: still be together, still.
- 40:41Speaker 2: Got the bond.
- 40:42Speaker 5: It ain't nothing changed, ain't nothing broke. How do you
- 40:45Speaker 5: make that happen? How do you stay together that long?
- 40:48Speaker 10: I think if it stayed together this long because everybody
- 40:51Speaker 10: came to the table being authentically who they are.
- 40:54Speaker 2: You know what I mean. It's the realness that you
- 40:56Speaker 2: can't fake.
- 40:56Speaker 10: Man, When you don't like somebody, you don't like them
- 40:59Speaker 10: for real, no matter how much you can dress that up.
- 41:01Speaker 3: But when you got genuine friendships.
- 41:03Speaker 10: And brotherhood, man, and you going through real life situations
- 41:07Speaker 10: outside of comedy, that's what keeps the bond strong man,
- 41:10Speaker 10: and just being there for each other. And making sure
- 41:12Speaker 10: that everybody good, just the whole goals to make.
- 41:15Speaker 4: Sure we all eat. And we started off in the
- 41:17Speaker 4: mud together.
- 41:18Speaker 12: And when you start off in the mud together, you're dirty,
- 41:21Speaker 12: and you work.
- 41:22Speaker 4: Your way up to then able to get that mud off, and.
- 41:25Speaker 12: Going through all of those situations, you see the true
- 41:28Speaker 12: character of somebody when you don't have anything, you know
- 41:30Speaker 12: what I'm saying. And usually what happens is once you
- 41:33Speaker 12: get to the point where I see but a lot
- 41:34Speaker 12: of people, once you get to the point where everybody
- 41:36Speaker 12: got something, and you know, you realize, you know, man,
- 41:39Speaker 12: we ain't never really.
- 41:40Speaker 4: Been partners for real. But that's usually because.
- 41:42Speaker 12: They didn't stop from where we all started at together.
- 41:45Speaker 12: So it's like it's a genuine excitement. There's no such
- 41:49Speaker 12: thing as you know, any of us doing better than
- 41:51Speaker 12: anybody else. Because the better clas do, the better I do,
- 41:54Speaker 12: the better fly due, the better I do, the better
- 41:56Speaker 12: I do, the better they do. So that's just the
- 41:58Speaker 12: way we look at it, and we've always did it
- 42:00Speaker 12: like that, and I think that's part of why we
- 42:02Speaker 12: have lasted so long and will continue to last in
- 42:05Speaker 12: this industry that you know, you ain't never seen nobody
- 42:07Speaker 12: really do what we.
- 42:08Speaker 3: Do before us.
- 42:09Speaker 5: Well, okay, okay, okay, here's one right here for y'all.
- 42:12Speaker 5: When you look back over ten years, man, oh, the
- 42:15Speaker 5: whole ten years that y'all been together, what's one of
- 42:17Speaker 5: the biggest moments that you will say this is this
- 42:21Speaker 5: is one of the moments I'll never forget.
- 42:23Speaker 3: Man. What would you say, Chico?
- 42:25Speaker 12: Man? You know, we got so many moments man that
- 42:29Speaker 12: you know, I.
- 42:30Speaker 4: Honestly say New Orleans, but just happened in New Orleans.
- 42:33Speaker 3: When we just did New Orleans. That was one of
- 42:35Speaker 3: the most white.
- 42:36Speaker 12: They redid the no limit cash money versus live on
- 42:40Speaker 12: stage at the eighty five South Show. And to be
- 42:42Speaker 12: amongst all of those people that we grew up watching and.
- 42:46Speaker 4: Greg legends wanting to be like legends, you know what
- 42:49Speaker 4: I mean?
- 42:49Speaker 12: Then for them to not only you know, know who
- 42:53Speaker 12: we are, but embrace us enough to want to merge
- 42:56Speaker 12: a legendary product and brand with our brand, that was amazing.
- 43:01Speaker 2: Man.
- 43:01Speaker 3: That's that that one.
- 43:02Speaker 4: Still ain't even really say that in all the way yet.
- 43:06Speaker 10: I would say going number one on Netflix, just as
- 43:10Speaker 10: a company like just came out of nowhere and just took.
- 43:14Speaker 4: Over the number one spot.
- 43:15Speaker 10: That's one of those moments that I'll never forget. And uh,
- 43:18Speaker 10: you know, on the smaller scale, I would just say
- 43:21Speaker 10: just being able to collaborate with.
- 43:22Speaker 3: Our favorite brands and stuff like.
- 43:24Speaker 4: That, like doing a collaboration with Magic City. That was
- 43:27Speaker 4: dope to me.
- 43:28Speaker 3: And you know, just somebody who've been in Atlanta for
- 43:30Speaker 3: so long, that means a.
- 43:32Speaker 10: Lot to me, you know what I mean, Because it
- 43:34Speaker 10: was plenty of nights and I wanted to go in
- 43:35Speaker 10: there and couldn't go in there.
- 43:41Speaker 5: Hey man, y'all got to tell the family that I mean, Chad, Joe, Ryan, Catdog,
- 43:45Speaker 5: tell everybody we said hello. We love y'all, Atlanta and

- 47:41Speaker 9: You call me about my wife and you want her
- 47:44Speaker 9: to be a sharrogate mother for youwerks. I don't even
- 47:46Speaker 9: know why we're on the phone. Brother.
- 47:48Speaker 4: Here's the real deal, man, me and my wife we
- 47:51Speaker 4: can't have kids. We tried and tried and tried, and
- 47:54Speaker 4: you know, biologically, we've just been going through it and
- 47:57Speaker 4: going through it, man. And I was just you know,
- 48:00Speaker 4: I've seen your wife. She's healthy. I see all at
- 48:02Speaker 4: church all the time, and I was just like reaching out. Man,
- 48:06Speaker 4: maybe somebody wouldn't mind being the surrogate mother for for
- 48:11Speaker 4: me and my wife so we can have a child.
- 48:13Speaker 9: I think you'd share good mother. I mean, dog, hold on, brother,
- 48:20Speaker 9: you calling me to see it? What's your mind?
- 48:22Speaker 7: Brother?
- 48:23Speaker 9: Out of all the members in the church, you calling
- 48:25Speaker 9: me to get my wife to have your baby. Dog.
- 48:29Speaker 4: I know it sounds crazy, man.

- 49:12Speaker 4: Good mother. And I know it sounds crazy for me
- 49:14Speaker 4: to pick you out of all the people that go
- 49:16Speaker 4: to the church. I understand that, man, I do. But listen,
- 49:20Speaker 4: we would love for your wife to be the surrogate mother,
- 49:24Speaker 4: and we willing to pay for this. But listen to
- 49:27Speaker 4: me if you don't mind. We don't want to do

- 49:50Speaker 4: what I'm saying.
- 49:51Speaker 9: I understand that, brother, Bro. Are you telling me that
- 49:54Speaker 9: you want to have sex with my wife. But I mean,
- 49:57Speaker 9: I mean, you know, you know you want to have
- 49:58Speaker 9: me lose all my christian I ain't right now, brother,
- 50:01Speaker 9: you want to have a baby the real way though,
- 50:02Speaker 9: you know what I'm saying. I don't get a man
- 50:05Speaker 9: in the same way. You tell me you want to
- 50:06Speaker 9: lay down in the bed with my wife.
- 50:09Speaker 4: But dam you already got three kids. Think about the
- 50:12Speaker 4: people that can't out there.
- 50:13Speaker 9: I'm going to do the baby. Man, take your damn

- 50:18Speaker 9: the psychiatry. Bron an't have your baby. Do you know
- 50:22Speaker 9: what you sound like?
- 50:23Speaker 4: Gone crazy? I know it sounds crazy, man, I do.

- 52:19Speaker 2: You know, some people just selfish? You know, really? Is
- 52:24Speaker 2: that what you got out of that?
- 52:26Speaker 6: I'm sorry this man is selfish because he doesn't want
- 52:30Speaker 6: you to make a baby with this wife.
- 52:33Speaker 5: I mean, that's a but you're helping somebody, you know,
- 52:42Speaker 5: you help. I don't understand that. Y'all don't see this
- 52:45Speaker 5: being selfish.
- 52:52Speaker 3: Man.
- 52:53Speaker 5: I want his wife to carry, to carry the child,
- 52:56Speaker 5: you know, I just want to make sure we conceive,
- 52:59Speaker 5: you know, the traditional way. You understand what I'm saying.
- 53:04Speaker 2: We hear what you're saying. That ain't gonna happen. That's
- 53:06Speaker 2: that man is not allowed that. Yeah, and that's why
- 53:09Speaker 2: I'm saying he's selfish. People, you understand, you still don't.
- 53:13Speaker 3: Get it to you.
- 53:15Speaker 4: I get it.
- 53:16Speaker 2: I just don't understand the selfishness.
- 53:17Speaker 4: Man.
- 53:17Speaker 5: That's why people, that's why we don't never get in
- 53:19Speaker 5: a way as a people.
- 53:20Speaker 2: This is what people, the people, Black people hold each
- 53:24Speaker 2: other back bag. We can't stick together. You can't use that.

- 54:42Speaker 2: it is strawberry letter. I thank you, nephew. He needs
- 54:48Speaker 2: new underwear is the subject. Okay, he needs new underwear
- 54:52Speaker 2: here Stephen Shirley. My husband is very particular about all
- 54:56Speaker 2: of his things. He had a professional organizer come and
- 54:59Speaker 2: do his side of the closet and I had to
- 55:01Speaker 2: have a tantrum to get him to pay to get
- 55:03Speaker 2: my closet done. I'm so glad we have separate closets
- 55:07Speaker 2: because with my busy schedule and a newborn, I don't
- 55:10Speaker 2: have time to keep my closet neat like his. My
- 55:13Speaker 2: husband has a shopping addiction too. When he goes to
- 55:16Speaker 2: hang with his boys, he needs a new shirt, or
- 55:19Speaker 2: a new jogging suit or new dress pants. I have
- 55:22Speaker 2: asked him a million times if he's really going to
- 55:25Speaker 2: hang with his friends because he is dressed so nicely.
- 55:28Speaker 2: He has a thing about his underwear too. There is
- 55:32Speaker 2: only one designer that he will wear, and they're expensive.
- 55:38Speaker 2: They are made of buttery soft, of a buttery soft
- 55:41Speaker 2: blend of silk, and I wear the panties by the
- 55:43Speaker 2: same designer. I have given him the underwear as a gift,
- 55:48Speaker 2: but every time I turn around, he's buying more. I
- 55:51Speaker 2: wash and fold all of his clothes, and I've noticed
- 55:54Speaker 2: that his underwear goes missing. If I ask him about
- 55:58Speaker 2: the underwear, he gets defensive and ask why I'm taking
- 56:01Speaker 2: inventory of his underwear. It's what a wife does, and
- 56:05Speaker 2: I do it with my children's clothes too. If things
- 56:07Speaker 2: are tattered, I throw them away and buy them some
- 56:10Speaker 2: new ones. But my husband cannot tell me why his
- 56:13Speaker 2: underwear keeps disappearing. He lied and said they shrink or
- 56:17Speaker 2: they nip when I wash them, they rip when I
- 56:19Speaker 2: wash them. As much as he pays for his underwear,
- 56:24Speaker 2: they should last fifty years before they shrink or tear up.
- 56:28Speaker 2: He just asked me the other day to order him
- 56:30Speaker 2: six more T shirts and six pair of underwear. If
- 56:33Speaker 2: he was cheating or leaving his underwear at someone else's house,
- 56:36Speaker 2: why would he ask me to order him more. Can
- 56:39Speaker 2: you tell me how his underwear keeps disappearing? Because he can't?
- 56:44Speaker 8: Uh?
- 56:45Speaker 2: Okay, honestly, I don't know why his underwear is missing.
- 56:48Speaker 2: I really don't. I can't answer you The only thing
- 56:52Speaker 2: I can think of is that he is leaving them somewhere.
- 56:55Speaker 2: We all lose things, Yeah, we lose our keys, we
- 56:58Speaker 2: lose our wallet, we lose our socks in the laundry, etc.
- 57:02Speaker 2: But very seldom do we lose our underwear, Very very
- 57:06Speaker 2: seldom do we do that. First of all, the underwear
- 57:09Speaker 2: has to be off of our bodies to actually lose them.
- 57:13Speaker 2: So it does make you think he's leaving them somewhere,
- 57:16Speaker 2: like at another woman's house or something. Okay, why else
- 57:20Speaker 2: would he get so defensive when you ask about them?
- 57:22Speaker 2: You deserve answers, And of course they shouldn't tear up
- 57:25Speaker 2: so easily if they're that expensive. I love how he
- 57:28Speaker 2: tried to blame you and say you damage them when
- 57:31Speaker 2: you wash them. None of this, what he's talking about
- 57:34Speaker 2: is adding up a lot of wives monitor they wash,
- 57:38Speaker 2: they take care of, and buy their husband's underwear so
- 57:41Speaker 2: he can lose the attitude. I say, stop buying new
- 57:45Speaker 2: ones until he tells you the truth about what's really
- 57:47Speaker 2: going on with his missing and dwindling underwear. There's definitely
- 57:52Speaker 2: more to this story. Somebody's lying and it's him, Tommy.
- 57:56Speaker 5: Is he The three things that could possibly be happy
- 58:00Speaker 5: because I've I've been on that side where I've been
- 58:03Speaker 5: coming up short with my draws.
- 58:05Speaker 2: Okay, I've I've been there myself.
- 58:08Speaker 5: First is there's a possibility that your husband is a
- 58:14Speaker 5: stripper and you don't know that, you know, because I
- 58:18Speaker 5: mean that happens.
- 58:19Speaker 2: I'm like, like, I mean, I had my spell. I
- 58:22Speaker 2: did a year, So.
- 58:25Speaker 5: What I mean, I don't There's certain things I don't
- 58:29Speaker 5: want to discuss, but I mean I did a year, okay.
- 58:33Speaker 4: And and you know.
- 58:37Speaker 2: You heard me what was your stripper's name?
- 58:40Speaker 5: Stri me stripper, timing, strimey. You know, people tell your
- 58:48Speaker 5: drawers off. You know, I used to get my draw
- 58:50Speaker 5: tod all the time, and I mean that happens.
- 58:53Speaker 2: That happens.
- 58:53Speaker 5: So that's a possibility that that's what's going on. Your
- 58:57Speaker 5: husband could possibly be a stripper and when to do that.
- 59:00Speaker 5: But they just you know, they get carried away when
- 59:02Speaker 5: they go see these men stripping, they taddy draws off.
- 59:04Speaker 5: I mean, it happens all the time. So that's one thing,
- 59:08Speaker 5: all right, speaking from experience, I'm speaking from experience, okay.
- 59:12Speaker 5: And then and then y'all, y'all didn't That's just something
- 59:15Speaker 5: y'all didn't.
- 59:15Speaker 2: Know about me. I used to strip. Okay, let's get
- 59:18Speaker 2: past that part. Just get past it. Okay, need a minute,
- 59:21Speaker 2: get past it.
- 59:22Speaker 5: Well, first digitalizing me, because that's what y'all trying to
- 59:25Speaker 5: do is vigalize.
- 59:26Speaker 2: Stop it's not what you're doing. Okay.
- 59:29Speaker 5: Now here's the second thing. And I used to do
- 59:31Speaker 5: this too. It's possible that he is a magician and
- 59:35Speaker 5: he making his draws disappear.
- 59:38Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. I used to do that
- 59:39Speaker 2: I could make I did a year. I did a year, okay,
- 59:50Speaker 2: and I would I would make my draws disappear. You
- 59:53Speaker 2: know what I'm saying.
- 59:54Speaker 5: It happens, all right, and you know I could pull
- 59:57Speaker 5: the rabbit out the hat and all that.
- 59:59Speaker 2: But my closing was when I made my drawers disappear.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: It was just amazing.
- 1:00:03Speaker 5: That was my That was my Yeah, yeah, that was
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: my clothing. Now late, I want you to listen to it.
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: So those two things can happen or this last one.
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: And I hate to say it, but because I don't
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: want nobody to take my idea, but it's it's possible
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: that he is making a draws quilt. That's what he
- 1:00:26Speaker 5: could possibly be doing is making a draws quilt.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: Quilted draws.
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: I mean, it's just it's a beautiful thing when you
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: have just patches and patches of draws.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: Quip this quilted draws.
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: Yeah, and that, and you're talking about this is nice
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: fabric and all this nice and soft quilted draws. I
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: mean it's one of those three.
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: Don't don't.
- 1:00:49Speaker 5: Don't get so excited about it. I have a I
- 1:00:53Speaker 5: have a quilted drawls.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: I have all right, we're gonna have part two of
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: the Strawberry Letter coming up. We gotta hear from you.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: You don't want to hear from me. I probably twenty
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letter subject he
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: needs new underwear. We'll get back into it right after this.

- 1:01:46Speaker 2: and Amazon. All right, it is time now to recap
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: the Strawberry letter. We gotta do this subject. He needs
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: new underwear now. This was written by a woman whose husband,
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: she says, is very particular about all of his things.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: He had a professional organizer come in and do his
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: closet all of this. He likes when he goes out
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: with his friends, he has to have new clothes, new
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: dress pants, new jogging suits, you know, all of this,
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: new shirts, all of that when he hangs out with
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: his boys. And you know, she's getting a little suspicious
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: because why does he have to dress so nicely just
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: to hang out with the boys. And the one thing
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: that's really getting to her is that his underwear seems
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: to be disappearing, and he wears very expensive underwear. She
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: knows because she wears her underwear from this. She buys
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: her underwear from the same designer. But they keep coming
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: up short, they keep missing, and he keeps asking her
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: to buy him new underwear, and she's getting worried because,
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: you know, as the woman of the house, she kind
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: of monitors, you know, and makes sure they're okay, not
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: tattered and all of that, and if they need new one,
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: she replaces them. But he's asking her much too frequently
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: because as they're expensive, and she wants to know. He
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: tried to blame it on her. He said he didn't know.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: He got an attitude when she asked him. He said, well,
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: maybe you wash them, you know, when you wash him,
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: they ripped and all of that. So she wants to
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: know if he's cheating or leaving his underwear at someone
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: else's house, and why does he keep asking her to
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: order him more? You know, I said, yeah, he could
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: be very well be cheating leaving them someplace else. Uh.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: Strawmy also known as Tommy, said that it could be
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: one of trip Tommy. That's what that stands for, Strawmi.
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: He could be a stripper, a magician, or making an
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: underwear will quilto. And then now it's starting stimee to
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: hear from Junior what you got Junior?

- 1:11:52Speaker 2: needs some advice. His obsession with Christmas gifts being equal
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: we'll talk about it right after. This is this JR. No,
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, all right,
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: So this is from Devon on Steve HARVFM. Devon says,
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: my wife is driving me crazy with Christmas present shopping
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: for our three kids. She's obsessed with making sure each
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: one of our three kids not only gets an equal
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: amount of presents this year, but the dollar amount has
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: to be equal too. So when they each had seven
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: presents each, I thought we were good, but she wanted
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: to see the receipts and found out that one kid's
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: gift was twenty five dollars more than the other two.
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: So I had to go out and find one more
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: present for each of them, but at dollar values that
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: evened out. This time, the eight presents ended up being
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: off by fifteen dollars, so we had to go out again.
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: She is getting on my nerves. What can I do
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: to tell my wife it's not that deep? You sure
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: then stop this?
- 1:12:57Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: What going back out? The equal out? No twenty find
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: out going on.
- 1:13:04Speaker 5: I wouldn't have bought them no seven gifts. We wouldn't
- 1:13:07Speaker 5: have been We're not doing all that.
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: Now they have eight with a fifteen dollars difference.
- 1:13:13Speaker 5: Okay, but this this is what y'all. All of these kids,
- 1:13:16Speaker 5: does it stayed out there?
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: No it? Yeah? Yeah, they got young kids. Yeah, but
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: this is out of control. She's way out of control.
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: Come on, mama, Yeah, we.
- 1:13:26Speaker 5: Need to talk to you. Wife, sit a downe and
- 1:13:27Speaker 5: talk to him, telling you you're way out of control.
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: With this Christmas. Yeah, way out of control. Man cutting
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: down and she's already getting on his nerves. But he
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: can't even he hasn't even said anything yet. You got it.
- 1:13:39Speaker 5: As a father, as a man at the house, you
- 1:13:41Speaker 5: gotta put your foot down and said, baby, you're doing
- 1:13:43Speaker 5: too much. And I'm not finna be running in and
- 1:13:44Speaker 5: at these stoes for you. All down here is sneaking
- 1:13:47Speaker 5: in Target trying to get in and out of here
- 1:13:49Speaker 5: and get.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: Out of these kids. I'm not negro.
- 1:13:52Speaker 5: Yeah, a small ride out there in the park, you'll
- 1:13:56Speaker 5: be junior.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: What's your invite? What should he do?
- 1:14:04Speaker 7: I don't know about that, but a shout out to
- 1:14:05Speaker 7: the kids for the seven gifts.
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: I ain't never seen seven gifts on a Christmas What.
- 1:14:13Speaker 4: Seven?
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: Yeah? That feel like That's all I could hear. I
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: was seven gifts. Man.
- 1:14:19Speaker 7: You know, I'm like Tom, he should have been stopped this,
- 1:14:22Speaker 7: but yeah, what you should do is, you know, you
- 1:14:25Speaker 7: should have just took one of the gifts away, whichever
- 1:14:28Speaker 7: one was twenty five dollars more.
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: Take a gift away from each kid. Don't add no
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: more gifts. Subtract these gifts to get to the even number.
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: We ain't have to go up. Or she has some

- 1:15:03Speaker 2: us either can't or won't eat. One of my kids
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: has food allergies, so I'm planning on bringing something for him,
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: but now I'm learning that my man, his daughter, and
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: my niece probably won't eat it either. Some of us
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: could force our way through a serving just to be polite,
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: but I know it's not going to be pleasant. I
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: don't want the day to turn into an awkward situation,
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: but I also don't want to offend our host. Should
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: I say something to her about the menu now or
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: just keep quiet and plan on feeding everyone afterward. I'm
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: not eating that.
- 1:15:36Speaker 5: I'm not eating that.
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: I'm not I'm not driving all the way down there,
