- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your ba uhh, I show will Hey,
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody you're listening to the voice, come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show. I've been saying it like that since I
- 2:13Speaker 1: got it too. All Right, I gotta go one for
- 2:17Speaker 1: you today. Yesterday the other day, I was talking to
- 2:20Speaker 1: you about the most effective weapon available to us as
- 2:23Speaker 1: human beings I think is prayer. I think prayer helps
- 2:27Speaker 1: us in so many ways. But right now what I
- 2:30Speaker 1: want to do is I want to show you how
- 2:33Speaker 1: prayer pays off. I want I want to show you
- 2:36Speaker 1: what good it can do for you, even me, I
- 2:38Speaker 1: use it every day, and and the days I don't
- 2:42Speaker 1: use it, I feel it that that you know, the
- 2:45Speaker 1: days that I go, you know, without talking to him
- 2:48Speaker 1: as much, I notice it. I feel it I feel
- 2:50Speaker 1: a certain kind of way. You know, those are those
- 2:54Speaker 1: that doubt starts slipping in again, that uneasy feeling of
- 2:58Speaker 1: uncertainty slips in again, and that that wondering what I'm
- 3:01Speaker 1: gonna do start slipping in again happens to me, It
- 3:04Speaker 1: happens everybody. Man, I think, I really really do you know,
- 3:07Speaker 1: if people would just keep it real with each other,
- 3:09Speaker 1: stop being this Christian this superman, because you ain't you ain't.
- 3:16Speaker 1: There's a scripture that says that's none perfect, no not one,
- 3:22Speaker 1: that's everybody, that that cover all of us. Thought. So
- 3:26Speaker 1: sometimes I think we're a little too hard on each
- 3:28Speaker 1: other with that too, seeing it's how we're not perfect.
- 3:32Speaker 1: We immediately want to just just oh man, you just
- 3:36Speaker 1: want to kill when we find somebody do something wrong.
- 3:38Speaker 1: But if you go public, everything go public now called
- 3:41Speaker 1: social media. But anyway, I just want to talk to
- 3:44Speaker 1: you about how prayer pays off. It's called all eye
- 3:49Speaker 1: and money. People got money, call it all eyes a
- 3:52Speaker 1: return on investment. People are always looking for a return
- 3:55Speaker 1: on investment. You know, nobody, nobody in business really gives
- 3:59Speaker 1: you money without understanding the return on investment. They don't
- 4:03Speaker 1: even give money to charities unless they think it can
- 4:07Speaker 1: do something with the bottom line. A lot of companies
- 4:10Speaker 1: work like that, I found out out myself. Sad, but
- 4:13Speaker 1: it is true. So since everything is expected to work
- 4:17Speaker 1: on a return on investment as soon because we're human beings.
- 4:20Speaker 1: So since we're all human beings, whether you're in business
- 4:24Speaker 1: or not, you're still in the business of living. I
- 4:28Speaker 1: think when you pray, you should expect a return on
- 4:32Speaker 1: your investment. You talk to him, you spend time opening
- 4:37Speaker 1: it up to him, you bowed your head to him,
- 4:41Speaker 1: you humbled yourself, you got on your knees. I mean,
- 4:45Speaker 1: but really we're talking God here, So really, what you're
- 4:47Speaker 1: doing ain't really about nothing. Be honest with You're a
- 4:50Speaker 1: little bit that you do do on his behalf. It
- 4:54Speaker 1: just pales in comparison with what he does. But let's
- 4:57Speaker 1: just say you want to call yourself invested, well, let
- 5:00Speaker 1: me show you how it pays off this because for me,
- 5:04Speaker 1: this is for me. Now, pray pays off in different ways.
- 5:07Speaker 1: That's what I had to learn. See, I was praying,
- 5:10Speaker 1: but I was asking him specifically for what I wanted.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I had the audacity, though, to turn around and tell
- 5:17Speaker 1: him how to do what I wanted. That's amazing, man.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I can't tell you how many blessings I blocked coming
- 5:23Speaker 1: my way by putting my faith in what I said
- 5:26Speaker 1: I want it and how I wanted him to do it.
- 5:29Speaker 1: I want you to give me this. I want that
- 5:32Speaker 1: person to go away. I want this person to accept
- 5:36Speaker 1: everything you say. Then I want to go over here,
- 5:39Speaker 1: and I want this deal to happen like this, and
- 5:41Speaker 1: I want that person to just step aside and let
- 5:45Speaker 1: let me through. And then I wanted I was. I
- 5:47Speaker 1: hadn't mapped out. God must have been chuckling really hard.
- 5:52Speaker 1: He hadn't been gonna. Boy, I made you to be funny.
- 5:54Speaker 1: But boy, you're funny now. So you're gonna tell me
- 5:56Speaker 1: how to do it. And you've all heard this right here.
- 5:59Speaker 1: If you want to make God laugh telling me your plan, well,
- 6:02Speaker 1: that's what I did. And that's how we pray. A
- 6:04Speaker 1: lot of times we pray, and we pray in the
- 6:07Speaker 1: prayer with telling him how to work it out. Well,
- 6:11Speaker 1: here's the deal. This is what I've learned. Prayer pays
- 6:14Speaker 1: off in different ways. There's a different return of my
- 6:18Speaker 1: investment when I pray. See, sometimes when I'm praying for something,
- 6:23Speaker 1: a situation to dissolve itself or go away. Sometimes I
- 6:28Speaker 1: get courage out of the prayer. Prayer provides me courage
- 6:33Speaker 1: that's just to go on and look at it. I
- 6:37Speaker 1: guess face it then. Sometimes when I'm praying about a situation,
- 6:44Speaker 1: sometimes prayer gives me hanging power. Sometimes, man, it just
- 6:49Speaker 1: I look up and I'm just handling it better. Sometimes
- 6:53Speaker 1: prayer gives you laugh at off power. Sometimes, man, you
- 6:57Speaker 1: just got to laugh at off whatever. Man you trip it?
- 7:04Speaker 1: Do you know what that is? If you could do that?
- 7:08Speaker 1: You know? Sometimes it it gives you a show of
- 7:11Speaker 1: strength power. Sometimes prayer allows you to have the appearance
- 7:17Speaker 1: that you got it all together. Nobody got to know
- 7:21Speaker 1: the world. When the tornado, the hurricane that's swirling in
- 7:25Speaker 1: your life, you're standing over that like the eye the
- 7:27Speaker 1: hurricane you and it's all swirling around you. But you're
- 7:31Speaker 1: standing that like the eye, you just as calm. That's
- 7:33Speaker 1: what prayer does. So when you pray, man, it builds
- 7:38Speaker 1: up a lot of things in you. You know what
- 7:40Speaker 1: it's done for me. Prayer has built up character in me.
- 7:43Speaker 1: It's made me have more character because I'm able to
- 7:47Speaker 1: stand stronger on the things I say, because I've been praying.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Because I've been asking God for all of those return
- 7:54Speaker 1: of investments. I've been asking God for courage. I've been
- 7:58Speaker 1: asking God for hanging that power. I've been asking him
- 8:01Speaker 1: to give me the power to walk away. I've asked
- 8:04Speaker 1: him to give me ignored power. I've asking to help
- 8:06Speaker 1: me laugh at off. I've asked him to show me strength.
- 8:09Speaker 1: But you know what I was doing, I was really praying,
- 8:11Speaker 1: not really for them things be real with you, I
- 8:14Speaker 1: was asking them to help me, Lord, help me. You
- 8:17Speaker 1: ever done that? You ever asked God for help? And
- 8:19Speaker 1: then all of a sudden, the list of these things
- 8:21Speaker 1: show up. See, sometimes how you want the problem to
- 8:24Speaker 1: be solved ain't the best way. There's a lesson to
- 8:27Speaker 1: be learned when we make mistakes. And sometimes you got
- 8:30Speaker 1: to stay in that fire and you got to learn
- 8:32Speaker 1: that lesson. But guess what, though, when you come out
- 8:35Speaker 1: of it, you're gonna be better for it. You're gonna
- 8:38Speaker 1: know more about it. Come on, y'all, pray. He's solid,
- 8:42Speaker 1: His word is true, It lasts forever. He do what
- 8:44Speaker 1: he say gonna do now, all day, all night, twenty
- 8:49Speaker 1: four seven, he do it all day, all night, and
- 8:52Speaker 1: then some more. His word don't ever change. It is true.
- 8:55Speaker 1: It works for me. It worked for you. It worked
- 8:59Speaker 1: for Jake's, work for Old Steam. It worked for Kirk Franklin.
- 9:03Speaker 1: It worked for Paula White, It worked for Billy Graham.
- 9:07Speaker 1: It worked for Mother Teresa. It worked for Gandhi, It
- 9:11Speaker 1: worked for the Princess Arabs. It worked, man, it worked
- 9:16Speaker 1: for you. What you're waiting for? Why don't you put
- 9:20Speaker 1: praying your game? Watch what happened to you? You're sitting
- 9:23Speaker 1: in that jail, celle and you're struggling with it, and
- 9:25Speaker 1: they're telling you bloody and blood out, you can't get
- 9:28Speaker 1: in you. That's foolishness, man, What you mean God can
- 9:31Speaker 1: get you out of anything. Look, man, if you didn't
- 9:34Speaker 1: read your Bible, he didn't got some people out of
- 9:36Speaker 1: some sticky situations. I don't know what you're talking about.
- 9:38Speaker 1: If Daniel was in the lions den and Jonah was
- 9:41Speaker 1: in the belly of the whale, what you're talking about?
- 9:43Speaker 1: Where you are? You just sitting in the sale with
- 9:44Speaker 1: some dudes round you talking about what they're gonna do. Man,
- 9:46Speaker 1: you gotta be real. God can't nothing to do nothing.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Nobody can't nobody do nothing to you. God won't give
- 9:53Speaker 1: you to strift to handle. Prayer changes things. Man. You're
- 9:57Speaker 1: listening to show, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, animal trainers,
- 10:05Speaker 1: puppet tears, all of y'all, coaches, teachers, gymnasts, attorneys, bus drivers,

- 10:26Speaker 1: good things. I have news for you. He loves you,
- 10:30Speaker 1: He really does. He loves you, and that God is
- 10:33Speaker 1: in the forgiving business today right now. Nothing you've done
- 10:39Speaker 1: he's not willing to forgive. You can't fall so loaded.
- 10:43Speaker 1: He can't come get you. You ain't in the hole
- 10:46Speaker 1: so deep. He ain't winning got people like you before you.
- 10:49Speaker 1: God is good, man, and I'm grateful for that. That's
- 10:52Speaker 1: what I'm grateful for today. I'm grateful for forgiveness. Over
- 10:56Speaker 1: and over and over and over. I've used you know
- 10:58Speaker 1: how they say forgive you time and time again. I've
- 11:01Speaker 1: used all my agains. I'm working on some more. Man.

- 14:16Speaker 1: I work at the job with Veronica. Is everything on
- 14:19Speaker 1: right there? Or what's going on? No? No, no, everything
- 14:22Speaker 1: is straight here at the job. Not a problem at

- 14:44Speaker 1: and you know, just kind of have like a little
- 14:46Speaker 1: a little hard to hard talk with you. Man. So
- 14:48Speaker 1: maybe you know, uh, you know, we can get things
- 14:50Speaker 1: in a a in a better position. But I just
- 14:52Speaker 1: wanted I just wanted me and you to have a conversation. Wait,
- 14:57Speaker 1: how did you get money, Veronica? Give you my number?
- 14:59Speaker 1: Or how did you be at my number? That's what

- 15:05Speaker 1: just I just had never reached out to you before.
- 15:08Speaker 1: But like I say, though, man, this this, this has

- 15:12Speaker 1: get it off my chest so you and I can
- 15:14Speaker 1: try to, I guess fix this whole issue. But I
- 15:16Speaker 1: just want us to see if we can fix it.
- 15:18Speaker 1: You know, we fix the issue. What's the issue? I
- 15:21Speaker 1: don't understand. I'm not following you. I don't understand what
- 15:25Speaker 1: like what is the issue. So but now you know,
- 15:29Speaker 1: like I said, I went on to talk to me,
- 15:33Speaker 1: what's going on? Okay, your wife man is cheating on
- 15:40Speaker 1: both of us, and we got to figure out how
- 15:42Speaker 1: we gotta do something about this. Man, all right, I mean,
- 15:45Speaker 1: did you say she's eating on the both of us?
- 15:47Speaker 1: What is cheating? She is cheating on the both of us, bron,
- 15:54Speaker 1: It sounds like you said cheating Veronica. Listen to me, tears.

- 16:08Speaker 1: as a husband, I gotta you gotta. I'm gonna need
- 16:10Speaker 1: you to step up and get this thing in order.
- 16:12Speaker 1: What you're talking about. Did you say Veronica is cheating
- 16:15Speaker 1: on me with you? No? No, she cheating on both
- 16:19Speaker 1: of us with somebody else. I know. I've been noticing
- 16:23Speaker 1: her going out with this, you know, going to lunch
- 16:26Speaker 1: with this other cat. So I'm like, I got pissed
- 16:28Speaker 1: off about it. So I said, you know what, I
- 16:31Speaker 1: can't take you no more. I'm calling Terence. You're saying
- 16:34Speaker 1: to me that my wife has been cheating around a
- 16:37Speaker 1: job with somebody else. She cheating on both of us. Dude,
- 16:42Speaker 1: I don't get what you mean. If my wife has
- 16:44Speaker 1: cheated on I mean, you're calling me to tell me
- 16:46Speaker 1: that she's cheating on me. I appreciate that, but I
- 16:49Speaker 1: don't get what you're saying. You know, both of us say,
- 16:52Speaker 1: I don't get that, punt. I don't understand what you mean.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Me and Veronica been you know, kind of cool. You know,
- 16:58Speaker 1: last eight months to a year, we've been, you know,
- 17:00Speaker 1: pretty tight here at the job. You know what I'm saying.
- 17:02Speaker 1: So listen what you mean y'all been cool? That's what
- 17:05Speaker 1: I don't understand. Like, what do you mean y'all being cool?
- 17:09Speaker 1: Because that's my wife. Tell me what you're talking about. Okay.
- 17:12Speaker 1: All I'm saying is me and me and me and
- 17:14Speaker 1: her been real cool. We've been real tight. You know.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Sometimes we take lunch and then you know, don't come back.
- 17:19Speaker 1: That's our thing though. But you know, now, you know
- 17:22Speaker 1: I'm noticing. You know, she she didn't want out, you know,
- 17:24Speaker 1: she didn't want to lunch a couple of time with
- 17:25Speaker 1: his brother named Alan, And I'm like, okay, no, no,
- 17:27Speaker 1: it ain't gonna go down like this here. You know
- 17:29Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Are you my wife? Man? Hey, that's
- 17:33Speaker 1: that's not why I called you. I called you to
- 17:36Speaker 1: my wife. That's what I want to know. I'm telling
- 17:39Speaker 1: you about this dude named Alan. I need you to
- 17:41Speaker 1: step up as the husband and fix this. But you're
- 17:44Speaker 1: telling me that my wife is cheating on both of us.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Little cheating on the both of us. If she's she's
- 17:50Speaker 1: cheating on me, you're telling me that you're with my
- 17:53Speaker 1: wife too, that you've been messing around with my wife.
- 17:57Speaker 1: That's not That's not the part I'm trying to talk about.
- 18:01Speaker 1: I'm trying to talk about this dude named Alan. Man,
- 18:03Speaker 1: that's what I'm trying to get out to Alan. We're
- 18:06Speaker 1: gonna get to Alan. You saying that my wife, Man,

- 21:03Speaker 1: listening to the show coming up at the top of
- 21:07Speaker 1: the hour. And entertainment news Celebrity baby news um actress
- 21:11Speaker 1: Ki Kith Palmer is expecting. Celebrity wedding news Blair Underwood
- 21:16Speaker 1: is getting married. Okay, and in other entertainment news. Yeah,
- 21:20Speaker 1: good morning America will discipline t J. Holmes and Aby
- 21:24Speaker 1: Roebok for their romantic scandal affair M plus the selection day.
- 21:30Speaker 1: As we mentioned earlier in Georgia, get out and vote
- 21:34Speaker 1: today for Raffie L. Warnock. That is our message on
- 21:37Speaker 1: the Steve Marvey Morning Show. Okay, we'll talk about all
- 21:42Speaker 1: of these stories at the top of the hour, but
- 21:44Speaker 1: right now it is time to ask the CLO Chief
- 21:48Speaker 1: Love Officer Steve Harvey and the building. Brianna from Dallas says, um,
- 21:54Speaker 1: there are two different guys at my company that I've
- 21:57Speaker 1: slept with. My boyfriend is going to my office Christmas
- 22:01Speaker 1: party with me, and I'm worried because I have a
- 22:04Speaker 1: reputation in the office for being great in bed. Surely
- 22:08Speaker 1: these guys won't mention it right Well, you know, well
- 22:14Speaker 1: if not, if they don't want the ass for it.
- 22:17Speaker 1: But you know, because the new boyfriend dudes know that.
- 22:20Speaker 1: But now, oh they oh when they drinking the egg, No,
- 22:24Speaker 1: they're gonna be looking over the top of the glass though,
- 22:28Speaker 1: and they're gonna ain't gonna be drinking. They ain't really
- 22:30Speaker 1: gonna be swallowing the egg. No, they're just gonna have
- 22:32Speaker 1: it up to their mouth and they're gonna be looking
- 22:35Speaker 1: over the top of that glass the whole evening trying
- 22:37Speaker 1: to get your attention. So let me ask you something, too,
- 22:41Speaker 1: young ladies, what made you go to work and get
- 22:44Speaker 1: the reputation that's great in bed? You didn't want to
- 22:46Speaker 1: be like the top type or you didn't want to
- 22:49Speaker 1: be the best five. You didn't want to You didn't
- 22:52Speaker 1: want to get none of the regular records. You don't
- 22:54Speaker 1: want to. You don't be the one that you know,
- 22:57Speaker 1: coach the best. Now that to offers. You want to
- 23:00Speaker 1: be wanted do the most turnouts. Yeah, you didn't want that.
- 23:06Speaker 1: You didn't want to buy. You didn't want to employee
- 23:08Speaker 1: a moth hump. Okay, you went for something else, just
- 23:12Speaker 1: as James. Yeah, all right, well okay. Moving on to
- 23:19Speaker 1: Victoria in Jersey City. Victoria says, I moved into my
- 23:23Speaker 1: man's house after he got a divorce and his ex
- 23:26Speaker 1: wife walked in on us the other night. I was up,
- 23:29Speaker 1: but my man was asleep. I threatened her and took
- 23:33Speaker 1: the housekeep from her, and I asked my man to
- 23:35Speaker 1: change the locks, but he doesn't think it's necessary. Should
- 23:39Speaker 1: I call a locksmith or move out of his house. Well,
- 23:45Speaker 1: you handled your business. You took the key. M. He
- 23:50Speaker 1: don't think you need to change a lot because you
- 23:52Speaker 1: because you got the keep. That's all that is. I
- 23:55Speaker 1: don't know what she walked up in there thinking what's
- 23:57Speaker 1: gonna happen? But you surprised, to please know when she
- 24:01Speaker 1: walked in and you was up. Oh, she was surprised.
- 24:04Speaker 1: And when you took the key, she was scared. So
- 24:08Speaker 1: you have your business? Yeah, yeah, you you you was
- 24:11Speaker 1: operating over the what do they call that imminent domain? Yes,
- 24:15Speaker 1: you are operating and functioning well in a girl. Congratulations
- 24:19Speaker 1: handle your business, so you know, he said, I don't
- 24:24Speaker 1: think it's necessary to change a lot because you took
- 24:26Speaker 1: the key. M And congratulations on the way you handled it. Okay,
- 24:31Speaker 1: all right. I don't wish I could hear what you said, though,
- 24:33Speaker 1: because that ain't in the at all. What do you think?
- 24:38Speaker 1: She said? Okay? If the reason it ain't in the
- 24:41Speaker 1: letters because we can't say it on the rag. All right,
- 24:47Speaker 1: moving on to Joscelyn. Oh, not that I wish it
- 24:56Speaker 1: was a lot of that. So she was scared probably too,
- 25:00Speaker 1: all right, Jocelyn, and and the DMV says, I'm forty
- 25:04Speaker 1: one years old and I want to be married by
- 25:07Speaker 1: the time I'm forty five, But it takes time to
- 25:10Speaker 1: get to know a man. I can tell in the
- 25:12Speaker 1: first few days if it's a love connection. I also
- 25:15Speaker 1: believe in having sex early to test it out at
- 25:20Speaker 1: my age. Should I wait ninety days for sex? Well,
- 25:25Speaker 1: let's look at it like this. You ain't been married
- 25:28Speaker 1: and you want to be married by forty five. Yeah,
- 25:31Speaker 1: she's forty one. You've had a system in place, and
- 25:34Speaker 1: one of your systems is you have sex early to
- 25:39Speaker 1: test it out. Yeah, now you do understand it. That test.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Are everybody taking the test? Now? Test test tests? Yeah,
- 25:48Speaker 1: you're not the test. You are also the testy because
- 25:55Speaker 1: the taste test ain't been working out for you. What
- 26:00Speaker 1: the taste test ain't been working out for you? You've
- 26:03Speaker 1: been passing out you know yourself early, and now you've
- 26:10Speaker 1: been trying to test these men. Well you've been getting
- 26:13Speaker 1: tested and you ain't passed the test yet you ain't married.
- 26:18Speaker 1: M everybody don't pass the taste test. Um, well, she's
- 26:26Speaker 1: she's also asking uh at her age? Should she wait
- 26:30Speaker 1: ninety days for sex? Well, you ain't been waiting ninety
- 26:34Speaker 1: days before and you ain't married. Maybe if you keep
- 26:38Speaker 1: doing what you've been doing, you're gonna keep getting what
- 26:40Speaker 1: you've been getting. So maybe what you need to do
- 26:43Speaker 1: is you're testing you You're testing is off? Have you
- 26:49Speaker 1: have you have? Have you ever met a person who's
- 26:50Speaker 1: picker was off? Like you ever heard somebody girl or
- 26:54Speaker 1: boy your pickers off? You're picking them off? Yeah, you
- 26:57Speaker 1: can't pick them sometimes your system, her testing system is wrong, okay,
- 27:04Speaker 1: from her mistakes, that's right. Example, you in the grocery stoke,
- 27:08Speaker 1: you're pushing your card around. They got the little sausages.
- 27:11Speaker 1: The lady frying them in the electric fry, got twoth
- 27:14Speaker 1: picks of them. You know how you do that? You
- 27:17Speaker 1: get them samples like a costco. Now, how many times
- 27:23Speaker 1: do people turn around and buy the sausage? All? Do
- 27:27Speaker 1: they just keep riding round in the circle getting the samples? Yeah? Hello,
- 27:34Speaker 1: good analogy. I don't roll around. Got about eight of
- 27:37Speaker 1: them things now, sausage. But since you passing out tests, okay,
- 27:46Speaker 1: let me keep taking the test, okay, lord, and take
- 27:52Speaker 1: the tooth picks out the meat, Go ahead and buy it.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Just put your sausage for sale. Get all the two
- 28:02Speaker 1: picks out to meet because somebody's picking your trade clean.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Uh okay, all right visual when I go. Yeah, yeah,
- 28:10Speaker 1: I know, I know it's very uncomfortable, but it's a
- 28:15Speaker 1: very compelling answer. Next time you walking past the trail food,
- 28:20Speaker 1: just go your two picks out your meat. Everybody don't
- 28:28Speaker 1: need to test m all right, Um, moving on. This
- 28:33Speaker 1: is our last one, Steve, our last one sent in
- 28:36Speaker 1: Little Rock says. I was in a bad car accident,
- 28:40Speaker 1: and when I left the hospital, my dad surprised me
- 28:43Speaker 1: with the sports car I'd always dreamed of having. I
- 28:46Speaker 1: live in the hood, so the car stays parked at
- 28:49Speaker 1: his house. He drives it more than I do. And
- 28:52Speaker 1: when I want to drive it, he's already made plans.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Should I tell him to just keep the car. He
- 28:58Speaker 1: didn't buy the coffee you at all. He told your
- 29:03Speaker 1: mama he was burning the call for you, your dad
- 29:05Speaker 1: and having a middle age crisis. He bought the call
- 29:09Speaker 1: for him because he lived in the hood. That's how
- 29:11Speaker 1: it's the car he always wanted to right, so that's
- 29:15Speaker 1: why he driving it. And then every time you need it,
- 29:17Speaker 1: he got a plan. That's try to car for you.
- 29:20Speaker 1: You ain't gonna tell him to keep it. He didn't
- 29:22Speaker 1: keep it, Thank you, Cello. Coming up at the top
- 29:25Speaker 1: of the hour, we'll have some entertainment news where you

- 30:49Speaker 1: Look look at Yeah. I don't really, you know, I
- 30:57Speaker 1: don't care nothing about none of it. You know, even
- 30:59Speaker 1: though t J, you know, kind of did me wrong
- 31:01Speaker 1: one time. I'm gonna just side with him on this

- 31:46Speaker 1: I do know if I date somebody, they're gonna have
- 31:48Speaker 1: to be the host of the show. I had to
- 31:51Speaker 1: only all the people I can date the sheriff Shepherd,
- 31:54Speaker 1: and I have to date Sheriff Shepherd, Kelly Clarkson. Yeah,
- 32:02Speaker 1: I'm just looking at the who's all the favorable whoopie? Yeah,
- 32:07Speaker 1: Robin Roberts, hold up, who else share? If I had
- 32:15Speaker 1: share there, let me go. That's the age different. I'm sick.

- 32:40Speaker 1: beyond all Rihanna? What divis doing? I don't either one
- 32:43Speaker 1: of them want you. Rather they be in the bob
- 32:46Speaker 1: shop just be arguing beyond Rihanna. Dog do y'all stopped?
- 32:55Speaker 1: Stopped gonna say something? Bron hell yeah, honest, all right.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Finally an entertainment news Blair Underwood h was married for
- 33:13Speaker 1: twenty seven years before he and his wife Does a
- 33:16Speaker 1: Ray split last year. Well, last week, Blair announced that
- 33:20Speaker 1: he is engaged to his friend. Her name is Josie Hart.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Blair said, quote, she had my back since before I
- 33:27Speaker 1: even became an actor. When a forty one year friendship
- 33:30Speaker 1: slapped you in the back of the head and blossoms
- 33:33Speaker 1: into romance. You stand up and pay attention and step
- 33:36Speaker 1: forward in gratitude. And the side is about what Steve Harvey. Prise,
- 33:42Speaker 1: who're in here? Surprise another friend? He was friend for
- 33:47Speaker 1: forty one years. And then it slapped you upside in
- 33:49Speaker 1: the back of your head. Oh this first time you
- 33:51Speaker 1: felt that slap, Blair, I promise you that right there?
- 33:57Speaker 1: Hell no, and heh I bet you, Oh, I bet
- 33:59Speaker 1: she got you through the divorce and everything. Y'all. Listen
- 34:02Speaker 1: to me, man, I'm good with black Underwood. Is just
- 34:07Speaker 1: it's just reinforcing what I'm doing. And for all y'all
- 34:09Speaker 1: at that time where he just got the divorce a
- 34:11Speaker 1: year ago, now he engaged. Y'allready the marriage been over.
- 34:14Speaker 1: That's the date that the courts gave the marriage been over.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Stop looking at it like that. Congratulations to Blair and
- 34:21Speaker 1: congratulation for upholding the long held theory of Steve Harvey
- 34:27Speaker 1: that men cannot be your damn friend. Many women can't
- 34:34Speaker 1: be friends, not given the chance to be something else.
- 34:40Speaker 1: The moment you cracked the door, watch how friendly we
- 34:44Speaker 1: get and do you mean just giving present an opportunity
- 34:51Speaker 1: show a glitch cracking the armor show, a won't a need,
- 34:56Speaker 1: a desire, a wink, a flirtatious smile, a rub on
- 35:00Speaker 1: his shoulder, a pattern on his hand, touching his though,
- 35:03Speaker 1: any of that, any of that, get any of that
- 35:06Speaker 1: to get you rolled up. Get you rolled up if
- 35:11Speaker 1: you're attracted to the person as most men and all
- 35:15Speaker 1: huh as most men are, because because you know, some
- 35:22Speaker 1: people will argue you down that men and women can
- 35:25Speaker 1: see an be friends. Right, lady, he's your friend if
- 35:31Speaker 1: you can't see him as nothing else. But I tell
- 35:35Speaker 1: you what, I bet he can see you as something else. Okay,
- 35:40Speaker 1: he's just a friend. All women can do that and
- 35:43Speaker 1: handle it all the time. But in his mind thought
- 35:47Speaker 1: he playing a different song. You can't hear it, but
- 35:51Speaker 1: the song is on Yes to be cloned. That's here alright. Well,
- 36:04Speaker 1: congratulations player coming up in twenty minutes after the hour primetime.
- 36:11Speaker 1: It's still trending. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 36:16Speaker 1: You're listening, still trending. According to Yahoo dot com, Well,
- 36:23Speaker 1: the Dion Sanders era for Jackson State football will end
- 36:26Speaker 1: after the Celebration Bowl. On December seventeenth, Colorado announced the
- 36:31Speaker 1: hiring of the Jackson State coach on Saturday, just hours
- 36:35Speaker 1: after the Tigers defeated Southern forty three to twenty four
- 36:39Speaker 1: to win back to back SWACK Championship games. Lover hate Dion.
- 36:43Speaker 1: He has never let people's criticism defined him. He is
- 36:46Speaker 1: a coach, a mentor, and a friend who loves football, period, right, Steve,
- 36:51Speaker 1: First of all, you all have no idea what that
- 36:56Speaker 1: man went through at Jackson State to get that program
- 37:01Speaker 1: to the level he got it too, You have no
- 37:04Speaker 1: It was a twenty four seventh love affair with football
- 37:09Speaker 1: and them kids. College game Day was at Jackson State.
- 37:14Speaker 1: When they started doing that? When did they start airing
- 37:18Speaker 1: HBCU games on ESPN two? When did they start doing that?
- 37:24Speaker 1: When the national attention come to HBCUs until prime got there?
- 37:31Speaker 1: And then fourthly, who amongst you will not accept a
- 37:37Speaker 1: pay raise for doing your job? Who will not sign
- 37:41Speaker 1: the bigger contract? Who? So, if you don't know what
- 37:45Speaker 1: the man went through, which I only know a portion
- 37:47Speaker 1: of it because we've talked several times, but the man
- 37:50Speaker 1: went through a lot. The hate that's coming his way,
- 37:53Speaker 1: it's ridiculous. Man, Are we crabs in the barrel? Do
- 37:57Speaker 1: you not understand what this means? If Dan's Sanders can
- 38:00Speaker 1: come from an HBCU to go to a Division one
- 38:03Speaker 1: football program, do you know that could only mean maybe
- 38:07Speaker 1: a few years from now and Dean Sanders will be
- 38:09Speaker 1: a candidate to be home a football coach in the NFL.
- 38:15Speaker 1: That also opens up another spot at the HBCU school.
- 38:18Speaker 1: He bought recognition to the HBCU players. Some of these
- 38:23Speaker 1: players are gonna go with him. Their life is going
- 38:26Speaker 1: to change in a huge way because now college players
- 38:31Speaker 1: get paid. I don't appreciate the hatred that's going his way,
- 38:36Speaker 1: nor do you understand what how much of his soul
- 38:39Speaker 1: he gave to that university, and that man did a
- 38:42Speaker 1: great thing. Now if other universities would take notice, give
- 38:46Speaker 1: these coaches what they need in their programs, stop allowing
- 38:51Speaker 1: your people who are in the university to not do
- 38:54Speaker 1: the right thing with the funding. So how long would
- 38:59Speaker 1: have been? Okay? I mean, what how do you? Oh? Yeah,
- 39:05Speaker 1: ow oh see for us, it's forever right. No, I
- 39:10Speaker 1: don't know how y'all think that's supposed to be. I
- 39:13Speaker 1: think more of professional NFL players should go back to
- 39:17Speaker 1: HBCUs and help out and do kind of what Dion did.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Just keep it and George. Yeah, just be here. Williams
- 39:27Speaker 1: did it at Grand Band, Yes he did, Yes, he did.
- 39:30Speaker 1: All right, we gotta run, guys, coming up at thirty
- 39:33Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour. It is election day in Georgia.
- 39:38Speaker 1: Go vote. We'll talk about it right after this. We
- 39:41Speaker 1: just don't want her coach nobody you're listening to show, well,
- 39:50Speaker 1: today's election day in Georgia. That's right, get excited about it.
- 39:54Speaker 1: If you haven't already voted, get out and vote today
- 39:58Speaker 1: just in case you missed it. For President Barack Obama
- 40:01Speaker 1: rallied for incumbent Senator Raphael Warnock last week, last Thursday,
- 40:06Speaker 1: to be exact where he mentioned Herschel Walker's vampire versus
- 40:10Speaker 1: Werewolves discussion take a list. Since the last time I
- 40:14Speaker 1: was here, Since the last time I was here, and
- 40:18Speaker 1: mister Walker has been talking about issues that are of
- 40:22Speaker 1: great importance to the people of Georgia, like whether it's
- 40:27Speaker 1: better to be a vampire or a werewolf. This is
- 40:31Speaker 1: a debate that I must confess I once had myself
- 40:38Speaker 1: when I was seven. Then I grew up. In case
- 40:45Speaker 1: you're wondering, by the way, mister Walter decided he wanted
- 40:48Speaker 1: to be a werewolf, which is great as far as
- 40:51Speaker 1: I'm concerned. He can be anything he wants to be,
- 40:55Speaker 1: except for a United States senator. Yeah, hey, man, you
- 41:01Speaker 1: know the part I liked about him, it is before
- 41:03Speaker 1: he started talking he had to laugh at it. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 41:06Speaker 1: I love that last time out here, because you know,
- 41:10Speaker 1: man as an intelligent person. It's really it's it's it's
- 41:15Speaker 1: it's alarming when you sit here and you listen to
- 41:18Speaker 1: how look man, I don't most people at any level.
- 41:22Speaker 1: When you listen to herschel Walker, you shake your head.
- 41:27Speaker 1: What's the latest thing he said about the coon? The coons? Coons?
- 41:32Speaker 1: You know, any saying about the coon. I'm from the country,
- 41:36Speaker 1: cool and one of the smartest animals out there. So
- 41:38Speaker 1: your stupid ass that the reason white people started calling
- 41:44Speaker 1: us coons was because they thought they was the smartest.
- 41:47Speaker 1: That's what you think? That is well about you? You
- 41:50Speaker 1: dumber that you you're as dumb as they need you
- 41:53Speaker 1: to be. Good statement, that's amazing when you can tell
- 41:59Speaker 1: you a racial slur that they gave to us. We
- 42:05Speaker 1: didn't start calling ourselves coons. No, they did that in
- 42:09Speaker 1: cartoons back in the day. They did it. It was
- 42:12Speaker 1: a direct insult and you somehow have managed to turn
- 42:16Speaker 1: around and liked that. Boy. You you you as dumb
- 42:19Speaker 1: as they need you to be, even a racist white person.
- 42:24Speaker 1: When you made that statement about coon said, well, that's
- 42:27Speaker 1: not what we intended it. I don't right I don't.
- 42:33Speaker 1: I don't rightfully think he's got that right. Don't we
- 42:37Speaker 1: called you a coon? It's not coof thought you were smart,
- 42:40Speaker 1: that little mask on your face, because thank you, a
- 42:43Speaker 1: low stealing breed things like a lower scavenger, sneaking around
- 42:51Speaker 1: at night, that's what he was talking about. I guess
- 42:55Speaker 1: he's right. Or please get out and vote today day,
- 43:01Speaker 1: and we got to hear up and get off the
- 43:02Speaker 1: air because I got to go vote. Yes you're running,
- 43:07Speaker 1: and get to the house. I got to get out there. Man,
- 43:10Speaker 1: I don't care what it's doing out here. I ain't
- 43:12Speaker 1: even looked out the wind to get I could care left.
- 43:15Speaker 1: I'm going to get in this line. I'm gonna carry
- 43:18Speaker 1: some people. If I see them down there, I'm gonna
- 43:20Speaker 1: take my mask off and speak to people. Thank y'all
- 43:22Speaker 1: for voting. And if I see anybody with a herschel sign,
- 43:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna knock it out their hands. I'll probably go
- 43:28Speaker 1: to jail today. Yeah, that thing about taking water down,
- 43:33Speaker 1: the chairs everything they pass myself out. I'm giving people
- 43:39Speaker 1: to old people. I'm giving them chairs and water. It's
- 43:43Speaker 1: a give us the law. What you're gonna do? I
- 43:47Speaker 1: got the ray to be here and everybody, now, Steve,
- 43:50Speaker 1: I won't use to vote. I want you to think
- 43:52Speaker 1: about it when you goes and then you see my
- 43:54Speaker 1: name on the I won't use to think about it.
- 43:57Speaker 1: What I mean this is the biggest ill I want
- 44:01Speaker 1: you to do. You know something about me? You know something?
- 44:05Speaker 1: My name Hersha Julior, Herschel Junior jil You listen to me, Hey,
- 44:14Speaker 1: remember this, you're cool now ce see what to see?
- 44:18Speaker 1: What folk don't know? That's accompliment? Right, you don't get
- 44:22Speaker 1: see you better? Herschell, you showed better? Say it? Hershel?
- 44:29Speaker 1: What is that again? Now we called y'all? What is
- 44:32Speaker 1: it called coom compliments? Is what's easy? Bright funk call
- 44:38Speaker 1: coming up that dumb as we need him to be right.
- 44:42Speaker 1: You're listening string show coming up at the top of
- 44:47Speaker 1: the hour, right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry
- 44:50Speaker 1: letter for today. The subject is my husband's assistant is
- 44:54Speaker 1: very helpful. We'll find out what that's all about. Uh,

- 45:09Speaker 1: the break room. This right here is breakroom BARBIEQ, break
- 45:15Speaker 1: room barbec. I think we've all had some experience in
- 45:20Speaker 1: the break room. Everybody. Everybody hands break room BOBBIEC cat dog.
- 45:26Speaker 1: If you hood hello, I'm trying to speak to Eric. Hey, man,
- 45:34Speaker 1: let me tell you something, uh with me and you're
- 45:37Speaker 1: gonna get some trade to day dog right here, right down.
- 45:40Speaker 1: Let me say this, man, what is it what you
- 45:42Speaker 1: talking about? Right now? This is Quincy right here, This
- 45:45Speaker 1: is Quincy. I work in the same building. I work
- 45:47Speaker 1: on the same floor you work on, all right, and
- 45:49Speaker 1: I know that a lot of people on the floor
- 45:50Speaker 1: everybody kind of share the break room and the refrigerator

- 54:56Speaker 1: He does, he'll be stroll beers. Get out of here.
- 54:59Speaker 1: Hersh loser, loser. We're a nuts run to hear from you,
- 55:06Speaker 1: all right, Dear Stephen Shirley. My husband and I own
- 55:09Speaker 1: and operate a small business, and I still work full time.
- 55:12Speaker 1: I used to do the payroll and purchasing for the business,
- 55:15Speaker 1: but it got to be too much for me. My
- 55:17Speaker 1: husband and I discussed hiring an assistant in addition to
- 55:21Speaker 1: the three employees we have. A few days later, my
- 55:24Speaker 1: husband went to a trade show and he met a
- 55:27Speaker 1: potential employee. We tried to do a FaceTime interview with her,
- 55:30Speaker 1: but I couldn't get a clear picture of her. She
- 55:33Speaker 1: appeared to be a thin and plain girl. She's twenty
- 55:37Speaker 1: seven years old, and she said she had accounting experience,
- 55:40Speaker 1: so we hired her on the spot. The plain girl
- 55:44Speaker 1: that interviewed with us was not the same girl that
- 55:46Speaker 1: came to work with us. This was a grown woman
- 55:49Speaker 1: with a authoritative tone and big legs and long eyelashes.
- 55:55Speaker 1: She fit in at first and was good in accounting,
- 55:59Speaker 1: but after a month the staff told us she's too bossy.
- 56:02Speaker 1: My husband took up for her and said that is
- 56:05Speaker 1: exactly what's needed in the workplace. She even playfully told
- 56:09Speaker 1: him what to do, and he did it. I was
- 56:11Speaker 1: afraid to say anything to him because I knew what
- 56:14Speaker 1: he'd say. He thinks I have control issues and I
- 56:17Speaker 1: don't like the woman because she's a woman. I took
- 56:21Speaker 1: a step back and thought about it. No, No, that's
- 56:25Speaker 1: not it at all. I began popping up and I
- 56:27Speaker 1: caught them eating lunch and laughing and talking one day,
- 56:31Speaker 1: and another day I saw him follow around the store,
- 56:34Speaker 1: follow her around the store with his eyes. He was
- 56:37Speaker 1: focused on her big legs. I asked her to give
- 56:41Speaker 1: me account of cups and lids so I could purchase more,
- 56:44Speaker 1: and she told me that Curtis to sign the ordering
- 56:48Speaker 1: to her. Well, isn't she helpful? There's only so much
- 56:53Speaker 1: that I can take. Am I too controlling? Or will
- 56:56Speaker 1: she be a problem if I don't stop her right now?
- 56:59Speaker 1: Please advise? Yes, not only will she be a problem,
- 57:02Speaker 1: but she's already a problem, obviously, because she's got you
- 57:06Speaker 1: feeling some kind of way. But here's the issue. You
- 57:09Speaker 1: can do whatever you want to do. It is your
- 57:11Speaker 1: business too. She had no right to be that flippant
- 57:15Speaker 1: with you, period. I don't care what Curtis told her.
- 57:18Speaker 1: She could have answered your question in a much more
- 57:21Speaker 1: respectful way. Not tell you what Curtis told her. She
- 57:25Speaker 1: was disrespectful and your husband should have checked her right
- 57:28Speaker 1: then and there. But instead he's taking up for her
- 57:32Speaker 1: all over the office. Even the other employees complain that,
- 57:37Speaker 1: you know, she's too bossy, and doesn't he realize what
- 57:41Speaker 1: he's doing. I mean, he's the one that's causing division
- 57:44Speaker 1: in the workplace and making two of them look very suspicious.
- 57:47Speaker 1: And did you say you were afraid to say anything
- 57:50Speaker 1: to him because he would say you didn't like her
- 57:53Speaker 1: because she's a woman. Well he might say that, or
- 57:55Speaker 1: he might say you have control issues, so what he
- 57:58Speaker 1: might say that, But you still have a right to
- 58:00Speaker 1: say whatever you want to say. You don't have to
- 58:03Speaker 1: be fearful about it. The two of them now are
- 58:06Speaker 1: eating lunch together. His eyes are following her around the store,
- 58:10Speaker 1: he's checking out her big legs, and he's allowing her
- 58:13Speaker 1: to talk to you kind of crazy. Well, that's a
- 58:15Speaker 1: no No, this is a situation that needs to be
- 58:18Speaker 1: handled like only a wife can, and you need to
- 58:21Speaker 1: talk to your husband, not her. Don't talk to her,
- 58:24Speaker 1: talk to him. Tell your husband he's out of order,
- 58:26Speaker 1: and to not let her to her talk to you
- 58:29Speaker 1: that way, and to let her know that if you
- 58:32Speaker 1: ask her for something, to give it to you. You're
- 58:35Speaker 1: the wife, you're the business owner as well. I know
- 58:39Speaker 1: you told her she was in charge of ordering. Now
- 58:41Speaker 1: he did that, but you are the missus and you're
- 58:44Speaker 1: in charge over everything, okay, the whole business. I'll never
- 58:48Speaker 1: forget this time. I don't know if you guys saw
- 58:50Speaker 1: it on wilding Out when Nick was just on their
- 58:53Speaker 1: kind of act of crazy Nick Cannon, and all of
- 58:56Speaker 1: a sudden he got this crazy look in his face.
- 58:58Speaker 1: Mariah walked from backstage and said, Nick, I will shut
- 59:02Speaker 1: all this sugar honey iced tea down. I will shut
- 59:06Speaker 1: it all down. Well, that's what you need to do,
- 59:09Speaker 1: all right, Steve. I would first of all like to
- 59:12Speaker 1: congratulate you, Sherley, because you've never used an outside reference
- 59:17Speaker 1: or story in any of your Strawberry Letter responses in
- 59:22Speaker 1: twenty two years. That threw you off. You told that
- 59:25Speaker 1: threw me way off, doc. She told a Nick Cannon
- 59:28Speaker 1: analogy to use in her Strawberry letter. Bravo, Shelley, bravo.
- 59:33Speaker 1: Way to do it, Darling, way to try to bring
- 59:35Speaker 1: it on home. Now use examples. People often said, Steve,
- 59:39Speaker 1: this letter ain't about you. You got to make it
- 59:42Speaker 1: about you. Shelly took this letter and made it about
- 59:45Speaker 1: Nick Kenny. I thought was outstanding. Thank you so much.
- 59:50Speaker 1: Here's a letter. All right, here's a letter in the nutshell.
- 59:53Speaker 1: At the end of the letter, at the end of
- 59:57Speaker 1: the letter, the question was asked, and my two trolling.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: This is really not what this letter is about. You're
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: not too controlling. You're jealous. This letter is about jealous, envy, suspicion.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: That's what this letter is about. And that's how I'm
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: gonna have to address it. Shelly did an admirable job
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: about it. The kudos to you, Shirley for the use
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: of the Nick Cannon analogy twenty two years. You never
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: use an outside story in your answer. I felt just
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: wonderful you're still making it about you. Okay, here we go,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: all right, we'll be back. We'll be back with part
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: two of Steve's response coming up. At twenty three minutes
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter, subject my husband's assistant
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: is very helpful. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: strawberry letter. The subject my husband's assistant is very helpful. Well,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: my husband's sisterant is very helpful. This is a disguise.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: The question in this letter is at the end, and
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: I too controlling? Or will she be a problem if
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: I don't stop her right now? Please advise. That's what
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: this letter is about. But the question should not be
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: Am I too controlling? This is a letter about jealousy
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: and suspicion. Let me take you down the letter, show
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: you how meaningless some of this stuff is until we
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: get down to what she really wants. My husband and
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: I own and operate a small business, and I still
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: work full time. Okay, that's shaky because I think it
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: is your husband. I'm not really sure. I used to
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: do pray rolland purchasing for the business, but it got
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: to be too much for me, which means she doesn't
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: do it anymore, so now her husband's running it. My
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: husband and I discuss hiring in the to go along
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: with the three employees. They got a couple of days.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Lady Hufs at a trade show, met a potential employee.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: Tried to do a FaceTime interview with her, but couldn't
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: get a clear pitch of it. She appeared to be
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: a thin and plain girl. Here we go. This is
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: where the jealousy starts to come in at she appeared
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: to be a thin and plain girl, which obviously would
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: have been okay, she's twenty seven years old. She said
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: she had an accounting experience, so we hied her on
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: the spot. Did we now? Okay? The plain girl that
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: interview with us was not the same girl that came
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: to work with us. She knew what she was doing.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: This was a grown woman. Most twenty seven year old
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: women are grown with an authoritative tone and big legs
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: and long eyelashes. What do the big legs and the
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: long eyelashes got to do with anything? Well, I'll ten
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: you don't wear long eyelashes and you ain't got a
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: big league. So now you are trying to figure out
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: what does she have that you don't see? This letter
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: is taking an ugly turn. Y'all, the playing girl that
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: interviewed with us. Was not the same girl that came
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: to work. She fit in at first, she was good
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: in the county. She was good at that, she said that.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: But after month the staff told us she's too bossy.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: Now I don't like that line right there, because most
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: authoritative women get accused as being bossy. If me and authoritative,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: we just the boss. We get accused of another B word.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: But you get called bossy when you're authoritative. So I
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: think that's unfair. I think that's very unfair. But now
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: she was good at accounting. My husband took up for
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: her and said, that's exactly what's needed in the workplace.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: True statement. She and playfully told him what to do
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: and he did it. Well, you know you're bringing somebody
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: in there that can help out. She help it out.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: I was afraid to say anything to him because I
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: knew what he'd say. He thinks I have control issues
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: and I don't like the woman because she's a woman,
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: and I think he's one correct. I think you don't
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: like her because she's a woman. I don't think you
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: like it because she got big legs and got a
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: long out laugh. Oh am, I being clear him. Well,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: it's okay, team, I got you. I was afraid to
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: say anything because I knew what he's saying. Uh huh,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: I think I he thinks I got control this, and
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: I don't like the woman because she's a woman. That's
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: exactly it. I took a step back and thought about it.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: But no, it's not that at all. Right, I began
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: popping up, But I called him eating lunch and laughing.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: Where you know, look, they got to eat. They do
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: have to eat. Why he didn't lunch whithoart? It's where
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: the bus come in, Yes, dash where I start see you.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: You've been eating lunch. But now you eating lunch with
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: your big legs in the long eye, lad, And y'all
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: ain't just eating, y'all laughing and talking? What the hell
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: is y'all down there at that job talking? For these
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: jobs can be done in silence. Yeah? Really, really, you
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: don't You don't see the jealousy coming in now? Yeah,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: it's some jealousy gad coming in here now. Another day
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: I saw him follow her around the store with his eyes.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: He was focused on her big legs. God, the wife
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: ain't got because he looking over there? Why was he
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: looking over there? Following her? Around the stove and who
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: with all y'all, but he busted looking where your glasses at?
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: He's stupid boy. Look look ahead of her and let
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: her walk in to your eyeline. Then when she get
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: in your eyeline, turned your head the other way. That's
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: how you do it is plenty to be I asked
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: her to h called to meet and luncheon, following her
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: around with his eyes focused on her big legs. I
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: asked her to give me a count on cups and
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: leads so I could purchase more. She told me. Curtis
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: assigned the order and to her, Well, isn't she helpful?
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: That ain't? Ain't got nothing to do with it, Curtis.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: Curtis told me to do it. There's only so much
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: that I can take. Am I too controlling? Or will
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: she be a problem if I don't stop her right now?
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: Please advise you want her out the company because you're
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: jealous of your husband with her right now? And you
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: should Yeah, you should be jealous because you're a woman
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: and that's your job. Quit talking about it. Cast she boss,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: She got big legs. She can't have a little legs.

- 1:10:21Speaker 1: mom and lied about being pregnant. We'll talk about it
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: right after this. Oh you're listening, stew All Right, So
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: Steve Roy on Steve Harvey FM rights, I'm mad af
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: For months, I've been telling my family the reason I
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: broke up with my ex is that she is nutty.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: She has convinced them that I'm a heartless, cold blooded man.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: What's worse, she's still calling them and has convinced them
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: that she's pregnant, and I'm refusing to support quote our baby.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: I know for a fact that she's not pregnant and
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: she's just doing it all for attention. How can I
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: get my own family back on my side on this? Hey, uncle,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: I need some support here because I'm losing my sugar
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: honey iced tea. Well, here's a deal. So remember this
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: life is ten percent what happens to you, what you
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: do about it. Or you don't have to participate in
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: the lie. You don't have to participate in the blackmail attempt.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: The blackmail attempt only it works if you have something
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: that you're being threatened to be taken from you or
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: cost you. All you got to do. Listen to me,
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: So the pregnancy thing goes away in the matter a
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: matter of month. You ain't gotta keep talking about this
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: because in some most people gonna start wandering who had
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: a baby at. All you gotta do is keep your
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: pants zipped up, don't do nothing stupid, and just let
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: it all play out. Now you said who she is.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: Now she's trying to damage you and doing stuff that's uh,
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: you know, like really uncol trying to get attention. Since
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: you know this, all you gotta do is let it
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: play out, let it call your family, you stop be
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: sparding to all you have to say, y'all gonna see
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: it took me a while to see it, but y'all
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: gonna see one thing about this lie, the pregnancy lie.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: You gonna tell his life for nine months, nine months
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: It really ain't a nine month lie. You got to
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: discover your pregnant somewhere, so all you gotta do is
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: right in there. After a while, somebody gotta started showing
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: if it ain't even gonna take a whole nine months right,
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: calling him say about six about six months some bumps
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: or something. Huh, So, bro, your best way to handle it.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: You ain't gotta keep losing your sugar honey, iced teeth.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: Be still. You can wait this one out. This will
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: prove itself right. Stop engaging her. This happened to a
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: relative of man who called me got into it on
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: social media with a girl. I said, quite engaging it,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: he said, but you don't understand she's telling my followers
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: she's posting it. I said, Bro, you ain't that big
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: a news story. But as long as you responding, they're
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: seeing these back and forth comments, keep posting, screech, shooting
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: your text and all like that. Stop He stopped. Called
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: me a week later, said, wow, thank you so much. Man.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: I didn't respond. He went away. I said, because you wasn't.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: You wasn't giving her nothing to go on. So that's
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: all it is. It's got to stay out of it.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: Liz says, I've been married for six years, and I
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: do love my husband, and I know he loves me.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: Everything about him and our life together, it's just so uninteresting.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: I try to spice things up every once in a while.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: Most of the time he'll go along with it, but
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: it's never his idea. I think he'd be happy just
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: continue the way things are until we die. And I
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: just can't stand the thought of that. I'm thinking about
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: leaving him. How do I figure out if our marriage
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: is worth working for or it's in fact the grass
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: is actually greener on the other side. That's from Liz Well.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: I'm probably the last person you want to ask. Stay
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: Liz broke the wrong show. Once I look over there
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: and see all that green grass, I go through the
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: fifth I climbed it FI I cut you, blah blah,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: Why I got you get over here by they's green.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: I'm probably not the best person did ask you. I
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: am now, but I have a track record that said,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: all right, I ain't going to keep doing this hill.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: We'll have more Today's Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: at about twenty minutes after the hour. Right after this,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, So here's
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: a question for you. Did you follow your childhood dream now?
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: According to a new survey by Vetti, that's the I
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: t y. Probably probably not. The survey found that more
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: than two thirds of those who had a dream job
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: picked out as a kid didn't end up making that
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: dream come true. For male respondents, becoming a professional athlete
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: top the list at seventeen percent, while twenty two percent
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: of women wanted to become teachers. The age in which
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: reality started to sink in for Americans was fifteen years
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: old when they got their first jobs. The top childhood
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: dream jobs of Americans include doctor, teacher, veterinarian, musician, movie star,
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: professional athlete, artist, etc. So did you follow your dream
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: job since your childhood or what? That's the question? I
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: think what happens to the boy who wants to be
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: a professional athlete around fifteen? The stars losing grill? It
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: ain't cause you've got a job. It's because he went
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: out and played with some people that's fitting to be pros.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: Found out real fast, my ass ain't going. Dude just
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: blew by me like I was standing steel and I
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: was running as fast as I could. That boy going
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: to the pros. You Ain't that's true? All right? Yeah,
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: I played in the Summer League with the Cleveland Cavaliers
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: one time. That's when I knew really coming up. And
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll play another round
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: of would you rather? Right after this you're listening to
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: morning show, it is time now to play a round
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: of would you rather? Would you rather spend Christmas with
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: the entire family? Okay? Or would you rather spend Christmas
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: with three celebrities of your choice? No? My family? Hey?
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: My family? Yeah? My family? Damn? Yeah, celebrities. I don't
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: see my grandkids opening their tours and stuff. I'm proud
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: of you guys. Could have been eating my house man,
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: enjoying my life. God and gave me great dads. But
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: what would you rather do you guys with my family?
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: Come on? Yeah, here's another with you rather? Would you
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: rather live the last year over again? Would you rather
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: live this last year over again? Or would you rather
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: move on to the new year? Hell? No, yeah, I'm
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: not doing this year ever again. Man Blake two junior,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: you got married this year? Yeah, good year for you.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: But I'm gonna move on to the next year though.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: Still I'm moving on if I try to live this
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: one again. God twenty two, you're reliving this year, You're
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: moving on to the next. Would you rather I live
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: my life with expectations of great things? To Kurt, I'm
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: looking for the great things God got for me. I
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: know it's gonna be some challenges and all like that.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: Gonna be some setbacks, probably gonna be some disappointments. Eventually
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: it's gonna give me where I'm trying to go. Let's go.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: I'm ready for it, all right. Would you rather sing
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: jingle bells once every hour for two weeks? Or would
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: you rather wear an Elf costume every single day for
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: for one week. I'm not putting it. I'm not putting
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: it down. I'm putting it on. Yeah, I'm putting it on.
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: I'm going around breaking kids hearts for Christmas. That's what
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: I'm You're not getting nothing. I didn't see your name.
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: I'm telling you I'm getting I'm going. I'm I'm gonna
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: do it two ways, Okay, Okay, I'm saying it. Jingle
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: bells and I'm gonna make Tommy Way to Elf out
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: over here and be something for these kids and shut
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: up and and and make a train in front of
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: these kids with All right, would you rather, um, would
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: you rather clean up the streets in Times Square in
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: the French quarters after New Year's Eve? Yeah? Would you
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: rather clean up the streets after New Year's z Or?
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: Would you rather clean up after zoo animals zoom poop? No,
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: I ain't gonna be I'm gonna tell you that right now.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna picking up. I'm about to say I'm gonna
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: doing that. No, I'm gonna be down at that zoo.
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: I'm that stuff gonna be smeared all over place. I'm done,
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: I'm ready, let's go. Let's got it. All day's rounded.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Would you rather thank you shoff after white folks? That's
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: you're listening. All right? Here we are, guys, our last
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: break of the day on this election day in Georgia,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: the big day. Yeah, we are here. I, like so
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: many others, did not early vote. I was out the country.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: So I'm going to cast my vote today. God Willard.
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: It doesn't matter what the weather is, doesn't matter, the temperature,
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: it doesn't matter, the witness coldness, that don't matter. It
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: don't matter because I vote for all those people that
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: made the right possible for me to vote A lot
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: worse things was facing those people. They were getting beaten,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: burned out, shot out, lynched, murdered, stab german shepherds, fire holes.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: They did everything. At least I can do is go
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: stand in line. So I am voting. I'm voting because
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: my people paid the price for us to vote, and
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: we owe it to them. We got to not lose
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: our sense of responsibility, in our sense of history as
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: we oftentimes in this right now society of what have
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: you done for me lately? No, it ain't what have
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: you done for me lately? It's what have they done
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: for us to be able to sit here and say
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: what have you done for me lately? The reason we
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: can instagram, the reason we can flex the recent, we
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: can act like we're buying big cars and sitting in
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: front of malls and shopping and living where we want
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: to live, and kids going to school where they want
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: to go to school because somebody paid the price for that,
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: so they know, what have you done for me lately?
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: Is no, it's just what have you done for me?
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: The civil rights movement was big, and we're gonna going
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: to show up for that. Another reason I'm showing up
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: because I want this to be over today sends a
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: clear message to us that, no matter what happens, today
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: is the last day. I've often said in my journey
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: that I can do one more anything. I break it
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: down to one all the time because that helps me
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: be able to deal with it. Sometimes I have to
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: say I can I can do one more year. Sometimes
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: I just have to say I can do one more month.
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: Sometimes I have to break it down and say I
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: can do one more week. Then's finally I have to
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: say I can do one more day. And then finally
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: I get to say I'm gonna just do it one
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: more time. I keep it down in the ones because
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: it's simple for me that way. But now we got
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: one more day of watching these ads on TV, one
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: more day of watching this idiot that they have put
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: in front of us as a viable candidate. The shame
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: and hypocrisy of the far right and the Republican Party
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: to go and dig up a candidate like herschel Walker
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: and try to run him down out there. The sad
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: part is they acted like they all right with it. Man.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: Do you know how devious and how hateful of a
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: person you have to be to know something ain't right?
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: But to go along with it and make it a
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: right and try to tell everybody is right when you
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: know good hair well is wrong. He ain't put a
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: four sisters together since he's been running. He has not
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: made a viable statement since he's been running. He don't
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: look like a senator. He don't act like a senator.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: He don't sound like a senator. He don't talk like
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: a senator. He don't think like a senator. This dude
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: is ridiculous, man. But after today it's gonna be over
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: with it, one way or the other. I want everybody
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: who hasn't voted to join it with me today and
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: let's go vote. Let's go vote. If you didn't early vote,
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: that's fine. We got one day, one time, one moment,
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: one stands, one day to drive down to the poll,
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: one line to stand in, one ballot to fill out.
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: All we need is one one, And if each one
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: of you go down there to vote, then Senator Raphael
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: Warnock will be the next and continue to be the
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: Senator for the state of Georgia. What has he done
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: to be replaced by herschel Walker. I'm really man, it's
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: just trying to look at it. You can put all
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: these commercials where he voted with Biden and all like
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: this right here, herschel Walker, It's just ridiculous. Man. So
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: I'm asking everybody to let's go to the polls today.
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: Let's go to the polls. I'm just encouraging you. I'm
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: asking you to just get out, make the sacrifice to
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: whether it ain't the best right now. I got that,
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: I got this a little. It's winter time, though you
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: know it is winter. It's decembol. I don't know, and
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: one don't need to hope it for a spring day.
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: Spring don't usually happen in decembol. But boy, were stand
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: in line for everything else. Stand in line to see
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: black panther, We're stand in line when the latest shoe
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: come out. You're stand in line to get that new
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: damn iPhone. We can stand in line to send a
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: man to the Senate that can represent us in a
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: way where we can at least be proud of it all.
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: You may not agree with everything he's doing or saying,
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: but you can't possibly agree with anything herschel Walker has
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: said nothing. But at least you can have somebody in
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: there that you don't mind listening to. That you can
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: have a conversation with that can formulate a sentence, that
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: can put a thought together that knows the issue. We
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: have that chance today. I'll be glad so I won't
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: have to make this cry anymore. I'll be glad because
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: I just won't have to say this no more. But man,
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: let's get to the polls, y'all, one more time, just
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: one time. Pull it together. You ain't gotta put no
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: makeup on. You ain't gotta do your hand, get you
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: a hoodie, in a mask, take yourself down there, show
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: your I D pull that mask off, let them see
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: your face, and let's go vote. Let's go vote today,
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: and let's put it into this hypocrisy and this ignorant
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: ask candidate. They don't put it in front of us,
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: This ridiculous person has no business and senate. And then
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: so watch this. As soon as this is over with,
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: he gonna go right back to text. Y'all have to
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: for all Steve. Every contest no purchase necessary, void where prohibited.
