- 2:13Speaker 1: here we go. I was working out. I was talking
- 2:18Speaker 1: to a buddy of mine, and I was telling him
- 2:22Speaker 1: something that Bishop T. D. Jake's told me one time
- 2:26Speaker 1: I heard him say it. He said, Oh, I would
- 2:30Speaker 1: hate to die and not do the thing that I
- 2:35Speaker 1: was born to do. I would hate to die and
- 2:41Speaker 1: not do the theme that I was born to do. Man,
- 2:47Speaker 1: oh man, oh man, man. That hit me like a
- 2:50Speaker 1: like a like a pile of bricks man, because it
- 2:54Speaker 1: made me feel so grateful that God has allowed me
- 3:01Speaker 1: to live my life this way now. And I'm talking
- 3:06Speaker 1: about grateful for all of it the good, the bad,
- 3:09Speaker 1: and the ugly, and I have had all of them.
- 3:15Speaker 1: The person you see today it ain't always who I was.
- 3:19Speaker 1: It was on the inside of me, but it hadn't
- 3:22Speaker 1: externalized itself, if that's a word. It hadn't been brought out.
- 3:27Speaker 1: It was in hell, but it was under development. Who
- 3:31Speaker 1: I am today was a process. But like I said before,
- 3:37Speaker 1: don't trip hem through with me yet. Even today, I'm
- 3:43Speaker 1: still an imperfect soldier for Christ. Today I still fall
- 3:50Speaker 1: short oftentimes, but I'll tell you what, I'm ever grateful
- 3:56Speaker 1: for the life I have. And you know what I
- 3:59Speaker 1: wanted courage everybody today to explore your possibilities. I mean, man,
- 4:08Speaker 1: explore your possibilities. Why would you not want to find out, discover,
- 4:18Speaker 1: or know what it is God got for you? Why
- 4:24Speaker 1: would you not want to achieve or accomplish all of
- 4:28Speaker 1: your possibilities? Now, as I ask you this question, I
- 4:33Speaker 1: want you to know that the devil is busy, that
- 4:36Speaker 1: he plays mind tricks. So as you hear this, I
- 4:39Speaker 1: already know he's saying to some of y'all, Yeah, Steve,
- 4:42Speaker 1: that's easy for you to say, But I didn't get
- 4:45Speaker 1: myself in this situation right here, ain't nothing too hard
- 4:48Speaker 1: for God. Nothing nothing. And see, so as you listen
- 4:55Speaker 1: to me, try to try to get your mind open
- 4:59Speaker 1: to this. Why would you not want to explore all
- 5:03Speaker 1: of your life's possibilities, what's possible with your life? And
- 5:08Speaker 1: I'm talking about from right where you are right now.
- 5:12Speaker 1: I'm not asking you to change, I'm not asking you
- 5:15Speaker 1: to do anything. I'm telling you this is a fact
- 5:18Speaker 1: that God can get you from right where you are
- 5:22Speaker 1: right now. Broken, misled, misguided, misunderstood, mistaken, all of that, misfortunate,
- 5:38Speaker 1: all of the missus you've been talking about in your life.
- 5:42Speaker 1: You know you. I missed the lottery, I missed my ride.
- 5:46Speaker 1: They fined men, I missed the deadline. I didn't get it.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Miss people. People just miss stay self to death. If
- 5:55Speaker 1: you've been all in missus, God can get you from
- 5:58Speaker 1: right where you are. God a home run hitter. I'm
- 6:02Speaker 1: here to tell you that he's a home run hitter.
- 6:04Speaker 1: He's a put him over the wall whenever he wants
- 6:07Speaker 1: to all the time. And you can be a recipient
- 6:09Speaker 1: of some of these home runs. He'll put the bat
- 6:12Speaker 1: in your hand. But you got to sway now, listen
- 6:15Speaker 1: to me. You got to stop feeling sorry for yourself.
- 6:18Speaker 1: You got to stop holding yourself down with beating yourself up.
- 6:22Speaker 1: He won't hold you down about it if you don't
- 6:24Speaker 1: hold yourself down about it. But I'm gonna tell you
- 6:27Speaker 1: one more time. The devil is busy. So what the
- 6:30Speaker 1: devil do is He makes you think you ain't worthy.
- 6:32Speaker 1: He makes you think that you've done something so despicable
- 6:35Speaker 1: that you can't come back from it. He makes you
- 6:38Speaker 1: feel like you're so low you can't go up high.
- 6:41Speaker 1: He knocked you down and make you feel like you've
- 6:42Speaker 1: been knocked down harder than anybody else. You can't get up.
- 6:45Speaker 1: He rolled you so deep down in that ditch you
- 6:47Speaker 1: can't see over the edge. God can come get you
- 6:51Speaker 1: from no matter where you are. I'm telling you, man,
- 6:55Speaker 1: you ain't in no hole too deep for God. Magic
- 6:59Speaker 1: Johnson to tell you that. Listen to me, you ain't
- 7:02Speaker 1: in no hole too deep for God. Steve Harvey can
- 7:05Speaker 1: tell you that you ain't in a hole too deep
- 7:07Speaker 1: for God. Tyler Perry can tell you that. I can
- 7:11Speaker 1: name you some people. Bishop Jake can tell you that.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I could tell you. Kenneth Alma can tell you that.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Bishop Kenneth Olman. I could tell you some people. Kirk
- 7:19Speaker 1: Franklin can tell you that. Donnie mcclarkton can tell you that.
- 7:22Speaker 1: I just know some people personally, man that they've been
- 7:25Speaker 1: in a hole. Joel Oldstein can tell you about it.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I know some people man been down, been in a
- 7:32Speaker 1: hole so deep. I bet you. Paula Deane can tell
- 7:34Speaker 1: you about it. See. But but you know what, then
- 7:39Speaker 1: here we go, see we see see you know. See
- 7:43Speaker 1: we don't We don't like to talk about that because
- 7:45Speaker 1: now we want everybody to pay extra hard for some
- 7:48Speaker 1: mistakes they made when clearly and excuse me for being
- 7:51Speaker 1: a new Christian. But there is a prayer that I've
- 7:54Speaker 1: been saying since I was a little bitty boy, and
- 7:56Speaker 1: it took me till I was a grown man to
- 7:58Speaker 1: understand it. Forgive us our us passes as we forgive
- 8:01Speaker 1: those who trust passed against us. So see, it ain't
- 8:05Speaker 1: my job to hold nobody down, to keep my knee
- 8:08Speaker 1: on somebody's neck. Who am I I'm gonna need some
- 8:11Speaker 1: forgiveness in a second here, probably today. See so all this,
- 8:17Speaker 1: you're holding people down with the way you feel in
- 8:19Speaker 1: bout the man. She shouldn't have said this and she
- 8:21Speaker 1: will never get it. I never support this again. Man,
- 8:24Speaker 1: get up, get up and get real. You're for real.
- 8:27Speaker 1: You think you ain't fit the need forgiveness? Real soon
- 8:29Speaker 1: you ain't finn to make a diabolical mistake in your life.
- 8:32Speaker 1: You don't think you are. I have thousands of them,
- 8:35Speaker 1: probably gonna make a few hundred more for I get
- 8:37Speaker 1: up out of here. So I've decided to be in
- 8:41Speaker 1: a forgiving business because I want God to forgive my
- 8:45Speaker 1: trust passes as I forgive those who trust passed against me.
- 8:49Speaker 1: You understand. See excuse me for being a new Christian.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I get I get tired of talking to pistol, to
- 8:56Speaker 1: people man supposed to be saved and talking about the
- 8:59Speaker 1: dead Christian. I don't want that type of religion. Man.
- 9:01Speaker 1: I ain't in that no more. I ain't in that.
- 9:02Speaker 1: You can call me wrong if you want to saying
- 9:04Speaker 1: how you want to say. I ain't in that no more.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I ain't in all that. You can feel how you
- 9:08Speaker 1: want to feel about me. But I got proof that
- 9:10Speaker 1: God work in my life. You know. I can't hardly
- 9:13Speaker 1: get it out Sometime when people ask me something about
- 9:15Speaker 1: deeper on the inside of me, about my soul and
- 9:18Speaker 1: how I used to being, and my journey and my trip.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Because people don't know the trip I've been on. You
- 9:23Speaker 1: ain't been on one worse than me. But you know what,
- 9:25Speaker 1: You ain't in a hole too deep. God can't get
- 9:27Speaker 1: you out of. Man. I wish, I want. I want
- 9:30Speaker 1: people to remember that man, God is a redeemer. He
- 9:34Speaker 1: the great I am. So if you ain't got nothing,
- 9:36Speaker 1: now what you asking fault? You know you might not
- 9:40Speaker 1: have nothing because you ain't asking for nothing? Could asking
- 9:43Speaker 1: God to get you out of debt and ask God
- 9:45Speaker 1: for a life of abundance. Then you take the money
- 9:47Speaker 1: and you get out of debt. You keep asking to
- 9:49Speaker 1: get out of debt. You keep being in debt to
- 9:51Speaker 1: get out of Come on, man, what you're asking God? Fault?
- 9:54Speaker 1: I'm just tripping today, that's all. I'm sorry. I apologize.
- 9:58Speaker 1: You're listening. Good morning show, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Let me have your attention please. Yesterday's A show was
- 10:08Speaker 1: dedicated to military people. Today we're dedicating today's show to
- 10:13Speaker 1: all chicken farmers. That's right. They don't get enough love
- 10:19Speaker 1: around here. We're doing this for chicken farmers today. The
- 10:23Speaker 1: love that some of us have for chicken, and to
- 10:27Speaker 1: never have shown the appreciation to chicken farmers. I think
- 10:32Speaker 1: it's a damn shame. So today to all chicken farmers.
- 10:36Speaker 1: I'm talking about for the fried chicken, for all the
- 10:40Speaker 1: fried chicken restaurants, for the chicken fight going down with
- 10:45Speaker 1: Popeyes and chicken for lady, just for your grandmama's fried chicken,
- 10:50Speaker 1: for the chicken in every restaurant. Just the chicken that's
- 10:55Speaker 1: just available. It's just a wonderful thing to have. Man,
- 11:00Speaker 1: God give us. Thank you for chicken farmers around this world.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Lady gentlemen, callin for real. Good morning, Steve Harvey. I
- 11:11Speaker 1: am with you. You know, the chicken farmers are up

- 11:32Speaker 1: Sherley's out today. She's still under the weather. Yeah, it's
- 11:38Speaker 1: really just Shirley. Don't never take no time while she's
- 11:41Speaker 1: just doing her sick days. That's what this sick though.
- 11:47Speaker 1: I don't recommend leaving your sick days on the table.
- 11:49Speaker 1: You don't know, you don't know. No, No, definitely, that's
- 11:54Speaker 1: not what you do. Heals and summer every day. I'm
- 12:01Speaker 1: entitled to be off with pay. I take them off
- 12:07Speaker 1: on all your jobs. Did you ever leave vacation time
- 12:10Speaker 1: on any of your job? No? Hell no? Remember being
- 12:15Speaker 1: for staying extra day because I told him I forgot
- 12:18Speaker 1: I supposed to be back. No, when it took an
- 12:22Speaker 1: extra thing. Remember when you used to carry over your
- 12:25Speaker 1: days remember that? Yeah? Yeah, to the next year. Huh.
- 12:30Speaker 1: That's like on the phone company when you had them
- 12:32Speaker 1: roll over minutes. Yeah. Yeah, those were the good old days.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I'm the good old days, baby. Yeah, you know, I'm
- 12:43Speaker 1: actually wonderful, man. I told y'all I was out playing
- 12:48Speaker 1: golf last weekend, so I'm recovering from that pretty good.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I'm just trying to give my body now to where,
- 12:55Speaker 1: you know, what I've decided to do at sixty two.
- 12:58Speaker 1: I'm just gonna get into kind the shape where my
- 13:02Speaker 1: body handles soreness better from the times when i'm you know,
- 13:07Speaker 1: do work out and haven't worked out in a wild
- 13:09Speaker 1: and stuff like that. Did you play pretty good this weekend? Uh? Yeah,
- 13:13Speaker 1: I learned a little bit. I learned a little bit,
- 13:16Speaker 1: not really good, but I'm better than it was. But
- 13:19Speaker 1: then most I'm I'm tell you what, man, I'm I'm
- 13:22Speaker 1: better than the average player because the average player can't
- 13:25Speaker 1: break a hundred. So I played better than that guy.
- 13:28Speaker 1: But you know, well, that's good to know. We're coming
- 13:32Speaker 1: up at thirty two after the hour, we'll talk more
- 13:35Speaker 1: about golfing with Steve and we have your favorite segment,
- 13:38Speaker 1: Steve Ask, Oh, here we go, come out, let's go
- 13:42Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening. Coming up in about an hour,
- 13:50Speaker 1: you guys, Morris Chestnut will be our special guests. He
- 13:54Speaker 1: will tell about the new season yes of his new
- 13:57Speaker 1: hit TV show The Resident, premier tonight on Fox, and
- 14:01Speaker 1: we can't wait for that more. It's just Nut, ladies.
- 14:03Speaker 1: But right now it's time for Ask Steve. Steve, you
- 14:07Speaker 1: love the segment. This is where we ask you questions
- 14:10Speaker 1: the crew. So I'll started off you guys. You guys
- 14:15Speaker 1: think about it. Oh, Tommy and Junior, I'll started off
- 14:18Speaker 1: here we go, Steve, what is something that was a
- 14:23Speaker 1: large part of your identity when you were younger but
- 14:28Speaker 1: isn't anymore? Um, Stealing candy? I grown that, have you
- 14:42Speaker 1: part of my identity growing candy thief? Stealing candy became
- 14:48Speaker 1: nut short. Yeah, my daddy found out I stole something
- 14:51Speaker 1: one time. My daddy knocked my ass out. I ain't
- 14:53Speaker 1: stole none sense, So now what did you steal? What
- 14:56Speaker 1: kind of candy? What was behind that counter? Oh? Yeah, yeah,
- 15:04Speaker 1: you know, like you know, I be at the grocery
- 15:06Speaker 1: counter with my mama, just be eating. We'll be in Lyne.
- 15:10Speaker 1: I go up there and get more and just be
- 15:12Speaker 1: eating and my fullet choker trying to help and swallow.
- 15:16Speaker 1: She won't catch you. Man, I've got so many beatings
- 15:19Speaker 1: for that right there. Yeah, so that was one of
- 15:22Speaker 1: the things I probably have to do. Next question, All right,
- 15:25Speaker 1: all right, let me do it. What Let me think
- 15:30Speaker 1: you something? What makes you immediately suspicious of someone when
- 15:38Speaker 1: a person comes up to me talking about the Lord
- 15:41Speaker 1: wanted me to tell you something? Do you have play
- 15:48Speaker 1: come up to you like that? Yeah, I'm so glad
- 15:50Speaker 1: I ran up into you. The Lord wanted me to
- 15:53Speaker 1: tell you something. And then it's always be something with
- 15:56Speaker 1: a negative tint to it. It's always something. Oh man,
- 16:00Speaker 1: it ain't ever nothing, you know, I mean every now
- 16:03Speaker 1: and then I got no. I got some spiritual people
- 16:06Speaker 1: who text me all the time with positive reinforcement, but
- 16:10Speaker 1: just people at random. I'm so glad I saw you.
- 16:15Speaker 1: The Lord put it on my heart and wanted me
- 16:17Speaker 1: to tell you this. You remember that time you said this,
- 16:21Speaker 1: I don't but go ahead, and then you said that,
- 16:25Speaker 1: well that wasn't true, and I just wanted to be able.
- 16:27Speaker 1: I said, if I ever saw you, I'd tell you that.
- 16:30Speaker 1: First of all, God's voice has no sin in it,
- 16:33Speaker 1: so God ain't told you to tell me nothing, nigga.
- 16:37Speaker 1: And that's the that's the thing that I'm always suspicious
- 16:40Speaker 1: of special when, especially if it's a person I don't know,
- 16:43Speaker 1: because I kid you not. I talk to God every
- 16:47Speaker 1: single day, several times a day. He did not mention
- 16:51Speaker 1: that you would be coming up to me and we cool. Yea,
- 16:58Speaker 1: He give me no forewarning about you. Next question, all right, okay, junior,
- 17:07Speaker 1: what does happiness really mean to you? My family? My family?
- 17:13Speaker 1: Man's when I'm when I'm happiest, man when I when
- 17:16Speaker 1: I see my family enjoying themselves, especially if it's a
- 17:22Speaker 1: benefit from some work that I put in a vacation
- 17:25Speaker 1: that I can afford for them, watching them for take
- 17:29Speaker 1: of you know, the benefits of them going to school
- 17:33Speaker 1: and getting educated, watching them grow. That's the greatest form
- 17:38Speaker 1: of happiness for me at this stage of my life.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Is my family beautiful. Nothing's bigger than that for me.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I kid you not. It doesn't matter. I've got all
- 17:47Speaker 1: awards I need. You know, I'm it's it's all. It's
- 17:51Speaker 1: all for them, all right, Okay, it's a good one.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Here's one. What is your biggest regret from your teen years?
- 18:01Speaker 1: I don't know why I'm obsessed with your childhood and
- 18:03Speaker 1: teen years today, but that's my question. What is your
- 18:06Speaker 1: biggest regret from your teen years with Shelle pisss dog.
- 18:19Speaker 1: She would not give me the time of day though
- 18:22Speaker 1: she was my friend, but huh, every time a dude
- 18:28Speaker 1: walked her home. Man, I be in my window just
- 18:30Speaker 1: looking man. Boom dude, doom boo doom doom dood just
- 18:36Speaker 1: my imagination bloo doom doom dude harmonized. Who who is this?
- 18:48Speaker 1: Is this? When you first started feeling ugly? Yeah, no,
- 18:53Speaker 1: I felt ugly before that, before that, but she had
- 18:57Speaker 1: overlooked it. She would talk to me. She wouldn't you know,
- 18:59Speaker 1: square in the eyes and nothing when we were talking.
- 19:01Speaker 1: So her eyes she was you know, you know, you
- 19:05Speaker 1: know what when you look at people, squint a little bit,
- 19:08Speaker 1: so you put yours, dear me you, so I kind
- 19:12Speaker 1: of make it look fuzzy. You know how you used
- 19:14Speaker 1: to put vasiline on the movie screen leans to show
- 19:17Speaker 1: white women make up look because you look curious back
- 19:19Speaker 1: in the day, and you look at an early person
- 19:22Speaker 1: and you put your eyelashes between you and them. They
- 19:24Speaker 1: don't look at it. So she used to look at
- 19:26Speaker 1: me without squinting. So I kind of figured, you know,
- 19:30Speaker 1: she could deal with Yeah, she could tolerate you. You
- 19:33Speaker 1: are crazy? Question what what movie or TV quote do
- 19:41Speaker 1: you use most often? You know, I'm answer somebody to focus. Yeah,
- 19:44Speaker 1: you can't handle the truth. Few good put asking me
- 19:51Speaker 1: because you can't handle the truth. I've used that more
- 19:55Speaker 1: than that, and it's such a true statement for me.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Nikelas you you can't handle the truth? Yeah, that was
- 20:03Speaker 1: that was the scene, Daddy, Just tell me the truth.
- 20:06Speaker 1: You can't handle it. That's pretty good, all right, Jenny?
- 20:12Speaker 1: You want to close it out? Are you done? All right? Uh? Quickly?
- 20:17Speaker 1: Best thing you can get for four hundred dollars up
- 20:19Speaker 1: just just best thing you can get it for four
- 20:21Speaker 1: hundred dollars box of cigars. Wow, coming up, the nephew
- 20:33Speaker 1: is here running that brayback Steve right after this. You're listening,
- 20:41Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour. In entertainment News,
- 20:44Speaker 1: Real Housewise of Atlanta, star Kenya Moore and her husband
- 20:50Speaker 1: Mark Daily split after two years of marriage. What's so said? Yeah, yeah,
- 20:57Speaker 1: that's yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey Kenya didn't take you long,
- 21:03Speaker 1: holland already yeah yeah. And Jennifer Lopez check this out?
- 21:08Speaker 1: Did you guys see her? She rocked her updated version
- 21:11Speaker 1: of that iconic versise. No, I didn't send it to
- 21:18Speaker 1: all up us ratting that all right? All right? Even
- 21:21Speaker 1: coming up, Come on, nephew, it's on you. What you
- 21:23Speaker 1: got change back, change for a hunted. Let's go change
- 21:28Speaker 1: for a hundred right now. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to
- 21:32Speaker 1: reach Regina. Please speaking, Hello, Yeah, speaking, It's Regina. Okay, Hey,
- 21:38Speaker 1: uh you did a bachelor party for me and my boys,
- 21:42Speaker 1: like about two weeks ago. Okay, Sean, you remember, Sean? Yes, yes, okay,
- 21:51Speaker 1: Now listen, when you you were doing a lot of
- 21:53Speaker 1: lap dances at night, you remember that. Yes, So how
- 21:57Speaker 1: did you get my number? How can I help you?
- 22:00Speaker 1: Neither party done? I mean, what do you need? Okay,
- 22:03Speaker 1: well no, no, it ain't nothing like that I'm saying.
- 22:06Speaker 1: You know, you're just a lot of lap dancers. Do
- 22:08Speaker 1: you remember that? Yes? Okay, we'll listen. You know that
- 22:13Speaker 1: night I was at the party, you did some lap

- 28:18Speaker 1: hosting a gala for Will's Church. Hundred and twenty five
- 28:23Speaker 1: years of service in church that ain't bad, hundred twenty
- 28:27Speaker 1: five year olds. Thank you, Dephew. Coming up at the
- 28:29Speaker 1: top of the hour Entertainment and National news you're listening
- 28:34Speaker 1: to show. Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour,
- 28:40Speaker 1: our special guest. Ladies, Get ready, Morris Chestnut will be here.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Can't wait to talk to him. But first in today's
- 28:48Speaker 1: entertainment news. Check this out, guys, this is really sad.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore and her husband
- 28:55Speaker 1: Mark Daly have called it quits after just two years
- 28:58Speaker 1: of marriage. Kenya released the statement saying it is with
- 29:02Speaker 1: profound sadness that I regret to inform my fans that
- 29:07Speaker 1: I'm divorcing my husband, Mark Daily, Kenya went on. She
- 29:11Speaker 1: told People Magazine, due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I
- 29:16Speaker 1: can no longer continue in the marriage, and then she
- 29:19Speaker 1: went on to say, my sole concern and focus is
- 29:23Speaker 1: will always be with my daughter Brooklyn, her miracle baby Junior.
- 29:27Speaker 1: You know what, there's a rumors out on some of
- 29:30Speaker 1: the blogs that are saying that Kenya is actually Mark's
- 29:34Speaker 1: second wife and that he had other kids from a
- 29:38Speaker 1: previous marriage. Now that's a rumor. Don't know if that's
- 29:42Speaker 1: completely true. But if that's true, I don't know if
- 29:47Speaker 1: she knew that. It seems like the rumors trying to
- 29:50Speaker 1: say that she didn't know these things because her and
- 29:53Speaker 1: her husband was just on the Tamren Hall Show last
- 29:55Speaker 1: week and she was talking about he was the love
- 29:57Speaker 1: of you know, her life and her husband. So it's
- 30:00Speaker 1: it's just some weird stuff, weird rumors going on about that.
- 30:04Speaker 1: So it's just really sad. I wish the work through it,
- 30:07Speaker 1: because marriage is a fight, man. It's it's it's it's
- 30:13Speaker 1: it's a lot of work, and it's not when I
- 30:15Speaker 1: say it's a fight, it's it's it's a fight worth
- 30:18Speaker 1: having a lot of times, if you're with the right person,
- 30:21Speaker 1: you gotta fight for your marriage sometimes, you know, if
- 30:24Speaker 1: you're with the right persons, it's not smooth sailing. I
- 30:27Speaker 1: don't care what anybody portrays it out to be. It's
- 30:31Speaker 1: it's not smooth sailing. Nothing is your job every day.
- 30:37Speaker 1: It's just not. There's some days where it's the greatest
- 30:40Speaker 1: thing ever happened to you, and then it's some days
- 30:42Speaker 1: you'd be looking upside the head going hello, mar hell sure,
- 30:51Speaker 1: Marjorie has looked at me several times, and when why
- 30:54Speaker 1: did I did he crazy? My husband is crazy? I know,
- 30:59Speaker 1: I know my wife. I think she used us another
- 31:04Speaker 1: term though, Hey, like what like, let's see, I'm like, well, no,
- 31:08Speaker 1: I'm just thinking I don't think crazy it though. Yeah,
- 31:14Speaker 1: so I don't know. It's really sad about Kenya Mark
- 31:16Speaker 1: hopefully not. I don't know. Maybe they can do some
- 31:19Speaker 1: kind of reconciliation turns, you know, for her to go on.
- 31:22Speaker 1: I think, you know, see, but this reality thing, this
- 31:26Speaker 1: whole reality hands I'm sorry, it brings me great regret. Noh, hey, hey,
- 31:32Speaker 1: stop writing your story. Just you know, live your life.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Everybody ain't got to know everything about you because you
- 31:37Speaker 1: might get a chance to work this out if you
- 31:40Speaker 1: keep it out the public. Guy, Well, she's back on reality. Shit.
- 31:44Speaker 1: You know, they're shooting the current season or the next
- 31:46Speaker 1: season of Real Housewives of Atlanta. So she's a reality star,
- 31:49Speaker 1: so her life is out there. She put it out there.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Once you be on reality to that TV, it's yeah,
- 31:56Speaker 1: that's it. So before we went out of time and
- 31:58Speaker 1: we have to go to miss Anne, let's talk about this.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Did you guys see fifty year old Jennifer Lopez close
- 32:06Speaker 1: out the Pasachi fashion show in Milan? It was just
- 32:09Speaker 1: past Friday, wearing an updated version of the iconic green
- 32:15Speaker 1: tropical dress that she wore in to the Grammys back
- 32:18Speaker 1: in two thousand. J Lo go, that's a bad girl
- 32:22Speaker 1: right there. Did y'all see it? Yeah? Saw it? Yes,
- 32:26Speaker 1: I've saved it in my phone. Yeah, you better lead.
- 32:31Speaker 1: All right. We have to also se congratulations to Terrence Howard.
- 32:34Speaker 1: He's getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
- 32:37Speaker 1: He was saying some crazy stuff at the Emmy's Red
- 32:40Speaker 1: Carpet interview and all that. But anyway, let him know,
- 32:50Speaker 1: Doggie and as far as j LO outfit, I have
- 32:54Speaker 1: no comment. Ladies in jail, somebody wants to stay at trouble. Okay,
- 33:00Speaker 1: this is a trip with the news and good morning everybody.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Now the serious stuff. A soldier or state stationed at
- 33:06Speaker 1: Fort Riley and Kansas under arrest for allegedly distributing bomb
- 33:09Speaker 1: making instructions online and also threatening to attack a bunch
- 33:12Speaker 1: of people in places, including an unnamed news network. Authorities
- 33:16Speaker 1: say twenty four year old Jared William Smith also used
- 33:19Speaker 1: Facebook to talk about possibly assassinating Democratic presidential hopeful beat
- 33:23Speaker 1: a Roar and about joining the far right wing fighters
- 33:26Speaker 1: in the Ukraine. If convicted, this guy, Jared Smith, faces
- 33:29Speaker 1: up to twenty years in prison. The President addresses the
- 33:32Speaker 1: UN General Assembly later on this morning in New York City.
- 33:35Speaker 1: At the UN yesterday, Trump, who had first said he
- 33:37Speaker 1: would not attend the Climate change conference, did stop by
- 33:41Speaker 1: for about fifteen minutes, and then he held his own event,
- 33:44Speaker 1: one very popular with one of his key constituencies, evangelicals.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Trump pledging to support religious freedom in all places and
- 33:50Speaker 1: all over the world, urging every nation to increase the
- 33:54Speaker 1: prosecution and punishment of crimes against religious communities. They can
- 33:59Speaker 1: do no greater, and Trump says that the US would
- 34:02Speaker 1: commit twenty five million dollars to protect religious freedoms and
- 34:05Speaker 1: religious sites from attacks. In Orlando, Florida, a six year
- 34:09Speaker 1: old girl was taken out of school you last Thursday
- 34:12Speaker 1: and actually arrested because she had a temper tantrum. Six
- 34:15Speaker 1: year old Kylo Roll is black. Her grandmother, needless to say,
- 34:18Speaker 1: is very very upset. They say, what do you mean
- 34:20Speaker 1: she was arrested. So there was an incident and she
- 34:23Speaker 1: kicked somebody. She's arrested and she has a charge. No
- 34:29Speaker 1: six year old child should be able to tell somebody
- 34:32Speaker 1: that they had handcuffs on them and they were riding
- 34:36Speaker 1: in the back of a police car and taken to
- 34:39Speaker 1: a juvenile detention center to be fingerprinted. In order to
- 34:42Speaker 1: arrest the child under twelve, cops have to have a
- 34:45Speaker 1: watch commander's approval, but there was no such okay. So
- 34:48Speaker 1: the school resource officer who okay little Kyla's arrest has
- 34:51Speaker 1: been suspended right now. Marilyn Kirkland A's the grandmother. She
- 34:55Speaker 1: says her dad. Granddaughter was photographed for a mugshot even
- 34:58Speaker 1: and charged with battery and wait a minute, I am finished.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Kayla is also supposed to report to court October sixteenth,
- 35:05Speaker 1: and if she doesn't appear Orlando Police day, a warrant
- 35:08Speaker 1: is going to be reissued for the first grader's arrest.
- 35:12Speaker 1: That's in Orlando, Florida. So I say that the former
- 35:15Speaker 1: NBA player named andre Emmett, killed early Monday morning in
- 35:18Speaker 1: Dallas by two men, is still looking for them. Actor
- 35:21Speaker 1: sid Hagans died the pockmark face. Actor was in several
- 35:24Speaker 1: Jackie of Jackie Brown Pam Grid movies. One he was
- 35:28Speaker 1: pretending to be at pilot who she was interested in,
- 35:30Speaker 1: and I'll tell you about that later on this morning.
- 35:32Speaker 1: But he was eighty years old. Now back to the
- 35:33Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to Harvey Morning Show, Steve.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Orlando police have suspended a school resource officer. Now this
- 35:44Speaker 1: story has been trending all on social media this past weekend.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Dennis Turner who was arrested. He arrested, I should say,
- 35:51Speaker 1: both a six year old and an eight year old.
- 35:55Speaker 1: These students, elementary school students. Now, these arrests, they were
- 35:59Speaker 1: on two separate incidents. But folks are outraged about this story.
- 36:03Speaker 1: The six year old little girl was arrested, taken in
- 36:07Speaker 1: handcuffs in a back of a police squad car to
- 36:11Speaker 1: a juvenile assessment center. Now once at this facility. Now,
- 36:16Speaker 1: once she was there at the facility, another officer, that's right,
- 36:19Speaker 1: Junior be shocked in outrage about this. Another officer found
- 36:23Speaker 1: out that there was no approval for this arrest. The
- 36:27Speaker 1: police said, you must get approval from your supervisor to
- 36:31Speaker 1: arrest a child under the age of twelve years old. Now,
- 36:35Speaker 1: according to multiple news outlets, the six year old her
- 36:38Speaker 1: name is Kaya or Kia, I'm not sure of her pronunciation.
- 36:43Speaker 1: They said she threw a tantram at school, kicked a
- 36:47Speaker 1: girl or kicked a staff member, and her grandmother was
- 36:51Speaker 1: just upset. She was on I saw her interview on
- 36:53Speaker 1: CBS News and she talked about she said, how do
- 36:56Speaker 1: you arrest a six year old child. The mother went
- 37:00Speaker 1: on to say that her granddaughter suffers from sleep apnea,
- 37:05Speaker 1: and there's an internal investigation pending on this officer's action. Well,
- 37:10Speaker 1: you know that something's going to happen, because you can't.
- 37:13Speaker 1: That's a traumatic thing to handcuff a child that young,
- 37:18Speaker 1: a girl or boy, but a girl and an officer.
- 37:24Speaker 1: What six year old can't you handle right now? You
- 37:27Speaker 1: want to be a handle that. Look, I'm not the
- 37:30Speaker 1: badest guy in the wild, but I'm gonna go out
- 37:32Speaker 1: on the Liam Hill. Yeah. They in a six year
- 37:34Speaker 1: old living here, whoop my head. I'm just going we'll
- 37:38Speaker 1: go too far. Yeah, boy, I got three sons, twenty eight,
- 37:43Speaker 1: twenty seven, and twenty two. I can ensure you on
- 37:46Speaker 1: their best day, I'm mohale than they ever wants to. Man, Yeah, no,
- 37:51Speaker 1: I promise you that this is this is your way
- 37:55Speaker 1: of disciplining a child. The six year old, put her
- 37:59Speaker 1: and then take cut you a detention center, and man,
- 38:02Speaker 1: this is not how you teach a six year old
- 38:04Speaker 1: a lesson. You can scart him mentally. Man, with this
- 38:06Speaker 1: type of move this they can't even comprehend that. Handcuffs.
- 38:11Speaker 1: I don't even know he didn't do this for fill
- 38:13Speaker 1: six year old. Right, Hey, let's people slip out of
- 38:17Speaker 1: cuffs that's grown as men because they're so skinny. I
- 38:19Speaker 1: did this, dude right here, Let's see what kind of
- 38:22Speaker 1: training he didn't do. It's all the training you mean
- 38:25Speaker 1: to tell me. Nothing in his mind clicked and said,
- 38:28Speaker 1: hold on, man, this is six year old little girl.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Maybe that shut her in his cart down here and
- 38:33Speaker 1: none of that. Hell yeah, what kind of Well this
- 38:37Speaker 1: is very traumatic, just like you said, Steve, so um,
- 38:41Speaker 1: if you want to comment on this story, you can
- 38:42Speaker 1: go to Steve Harvey FM dot com. I'll say one
- 38:45Speaker 1: last night, he lucky here and arrest our own person's job.
- 38:49Speaker 1: Just about to say, yeah, that's a blessing for him.

- 41:07Speaker 1: And basically what he what he does is so after
- 41:11Speaker 1: at this particular hospital that he's at, he instead of
- 41:14Speaker 1: being really concerned about the patient's care, he's more concerned
- 41:18Speaker 1: about the billing that he can get for the hospital.
- 41:21Speaker 1: So if a patient may need a surgery that's uh,
- 41:25Speaker 1: that's less invasive, that wouldn't cost as much money, he
- 41:28Speaker 1: would recommend the surgery that would be more invasive to
- 41:32Speaker 1: build more money for the hospital. He's about that money.
- 41:35Speaker 1: He's about that money. Ye yeah, Jay Anthony Brown, how
- 41:38Speaker 1: are you doing? So? Would you rather play comedy or
- 41:42Speaker 1: being a mean person? Which one do you prefer? Uh?
- 41:45Speaker 1: You know what, I would prefer. I prefer this job
- 41:47Speaker 1: right now because it's fun. No, I wouldn't. For first
- 41:51Speaker 1: of all, I mean, comedy is not my thing really
- 41:53Speaker 1: and uh, but I mean I do enjoy playing this
- 41:56Speaker 1: character because he does and says things that I I mean,
- 42:00Speaker 1: personally Morris would not say. D And uh, it's just fun,
- 42:04Speaker 1: just you know, just stepping the shoes for a little while,
- 42:06Speaker 1: have fun one of them, put them away when I
- 42:08Speaker 1: go home for the day. Be mean, Yeah, Morris, let
- 42:14Speaker 1: me tell you, man, you you build a career, been
- 42:17Speaker 1: a symbol out there, sex symbol, ladies man. Yes, so
- 42:21Speaker 1: in this role as doctor Kane, are you still a
- 42:24Speaker 1: ladies man? Why are you trying to make all this
- 42:27Speaker 1: money for the hospital? Yeah, that's the thing. He uh.
- 42:31Speaker 1: You know he's obsessive. You know, he's obsessive about his
- 42:34Speaker 1: work in the billing. He's also obsessive about his advices.
- 42:38Speaker 1: And women happen to be one of these vices as well.
- 42:41Speaker 1: You ever get a role where you don't get none,
- 42:43Speaker 1: because in every role you get son the ladies. No, no,
- 42:54Speaker 1: he doesn't. Well Morris, let me tell you this. I
- 42:57Speaker 1: ain't ever had a role for I ain't got nothing
- 43:03Speaker 1: ever matter. They get me off screen as soon as possible.
- 43:08Speaker 1: I tell you a little joke. Steve hey Man. Listen all,

- 50:12Speaker 1: the lay Steve. Now that's the one that will probably

- 51:37Speaker 1: when my whole thing in church is trying not to cuss,
- 51:42Speaker 1: trying not to see nobody fine and say nothing out
- 51:45Speaker 1: loud because I not. But I always what did you say? Well,
- 51:50Speaker 1: I mean, I mean I know how to do it.
- 51:52Speaker 1: I saw loose years ago. Man, I was at the
- 51:55Speaker 1: church and there this chick was so fine. She walked
- 51:58Speaker 1: right past me and I just turning spiritual. I just
- 52:01Speaker 1: said Jesus, And you know, an'tybody know who I was
- 52:05Speaker 1: talking to this? It was a reference to her, But
- 52:07Speaker 1: I was calling on the lorg dog dog. Okay, I'm
- 52:19Speaker 1: gonna I know what that means when you hear when
- 52:21Speaker 1: you hear that, you know what a brother talking dog
- 52:24Speaker 1: dog almost joined the church. Yeah, that's fine. And she
- 52:33Speaker 1: was on the baptism committee and I've already been baped,
- 52:38Speaker 1: but I was saying, man, I'll take this suit off

- 53:11Speaker 1: is out today. So Steve will read the letter and
- 53:15Speaker 1: nephew Tommy will do the intro. I'll reply, let's go, crew,
- 53:18Speaker 1: we are to prank Shirley for the morning up. Let's
- 53:21Speaker 1: just y'all think about that. Man, you think you got
- 53:26Speaker 1: a number to lead us? Bugle out, Hold on tight,
- 53:32Speaker 1: we got it for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter,
- 53:35Speaker 1: subject I want to live with all folk women. Yeah,
- 53:42Speaker 1: this Stephen Shirley. I'm a single man that's just enjoying life,
- 53:46Speaker 1: and I need some advice. I have four women who
- 53:50Speaker 1: all love me and want to be with me. I
- 53:53Speaker 1: have a child by each one of the women, and
- 53:57Speaker 1: I love all of them, but I find it hard
- 54:00Speaker 1: to pick one to settle down with because they are
- 54:03Speaker 1: all so good to me. I rotate my time with
- 54:07Speaker 1: them by going on dates and having sex with them regularly,
- 54:11Speaker 1: and they don't seem to have a problem with it.
- 54:14Speaker 1: One of them has a few cars, so she lets
- 54:17Speaker 1: me keep one of her cars. The other one buys
- 54:20Speaker 1: most of my clothes, one lets me live rent free
- 54:23Speaker 1: in one of her rental houses. And one of them
- 54:26Speaker 1: is pregnant by me again, so I've been supposed to
- 54:30Speaker 1: be spending most of my time with her lately. I
- 54:34Speaker 1: don't know how to tell the other three that I'm
- 54:36Speaker 1: having another child. See, all these women are like my
- 54:40Speaker 1: best friends, and I can't imagine my life without them.
- 54:43Speaker 1: So I have an idea that I want to talk
- 54:46Speaker 1: to them about I was thinking it would be great
- 54:51Speaker 1: if we could be one big, happy family or yeah,
- 55:03Speaker 1: they all get along and they all love me, so
- 55:06Speaker 1: we could have one house and raise the kids together.
- 55:19Speaker 1: Highlight out right, we could raise the kids together. I
- 55:24Speaker 1: don't know how to bring up the idea to them,
- 55:26Speaker 1: especially since a new baby is on the way. I
- 55:29Speaker 1: know people may judge me, but these are good girls,
- 55:33Speaker 1: and I treat them all we respect. It would be
- 55:38Speaker 1: easier for me financially to have everyone together. It would
- 55:47Speaker 1: be easier for me financially to have everyone together, and
- 55:50Speaker 1: I wouldn't have to run around spending time with each
- 55:52Speaker 1: one of them. Do you think it would work? Or
- 55:56Speaker 1: am I crazy to even asked them to do this.
- 55:58Speaker 1: I'm just a father that's trying to do the right thing.
- 56:02Speaker 1: Please advise, Come on, shut up, man, So right, you're
- 56:11Speaker 1: just a father trying to do the right thing. No
- 56:14Speaker 1: you're not. No, you're not. You have a relationship with
- 56:19Speaker 1: four women, and you have four children and one on
- 56:22Speaker 1: the way, and you're just using these women up for
- 56:26Speaker 1: sex and you're keeping them around without a commitment. You
- 56:31Speaker 1: these women are just settling for your foolishness. They're letting
- 56:34Speaker 1: you drive your cars, letting you live rent free. I mean,
- 56:38Speaker 1: and these women they are professionals, they got property and cars.
- 56:42Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, they're hard working women. And you say
- 56:47Speaker 1: you treat them with respect and you want them to
- 56:50Speaker 1: live under one roof and be sister wives. That's what
- 56:54Speaker 1: you basically, that's basically what you're trying to do. And
- 56:57Speaker 1: you're not being fair. You're not being fair to your
- 57:00Speaker 1: baby mamas or to your children. You are lying to
- 57:03Speaker 1: these women making more babies. You're scared. You're scared to
- 57:08Speaker 1: tell them that you got another baby on the way,
- 57:11Speaker 1: but you want them to all live together. This is
- 57:15Speaker 1: not going to end well because it's just gonna keep happening.
- 57:18Speaker 1: You're gonna just keep lying and making more babies, and
- 57:21Speaker 1: then you're still trying to make them sister wives. You,
- 57:24Speaker 1: my friend, sir, You've got to do better. You are
- 57:28Speaker 1: being selfish and you can't be as you say. You
- 57:31Speaker 1: say you want to be a good father. You can't
- 57:33Speaker 1: be a good father being selfish. You want your cake
- 57:36Speaker 1: and eat it too. You're wrong for that. You need
- 57:38Speaker 1: to grow up, be a grown man, take responsibility to commitment.
- 57:42Speaker 1: Very good, All right, let's go here go subject I
- 57:46Speaker 1: want to live with a women. Boy. I love I
- 57:49Speaker 1: love the subject. I love it where you wrote this letter.
- 57:52Speaker 1: Two dude, I want to just command you on the
- 57:54Speaker 1: way you wrote the letter. But boy, I'm a single
- 57:58Speaker 1: man that's just enjoying life and I need some advice.
- 58:02Speaker 1: See right there, I'm a single man just enjoying life
- 58:05Speaker 1: and I need some advice. Right there, that's a crazy statement.
- 58:09Speaker 1: I have four women who all love me and want
- 58:12Speaker 1: to be with me. I have a child by each
- 58:15Speaker 1: one of these women, and I love all of them.
- 58:18Speaker 1: But I find it hard to pick one to settle
- 58:21Speaker 1: down with because they are all so good to me.
- 58:23Speaker 1: Has a condom cross your man? Come on, I mean dog,
- 58:29Speaker 1: I mean everybody in your life got a baby, and
- 58:33Speaker 1: now you got another one on the way. Has a
- 58:35Speaker 1: condom ever cross your mind? While you're a single man
- 58:40Speaker 1: just enjoying your life. You got folk babies? Man, that's
- 58:43Speaker 1: folk child support payments. How good can you possibly be
- 58:48Speaker 1: enjoying your life and all your money is in child support?
- 58:52Speaker 1: I rotate my time with him by going on dates
- 58:55Speaker 1: and having regular sex with them. They don't seem to
- 58:58Speaker 1: having problem with it. You don't why they't don't because
- 59:01Speaker 1: you're telling each one of them they the one. That's
- 59:04Speaker 1: why I know what you're telling them. Dog, you can't
- 59:06Speaker 1: keep four women on the strain without saying that. One
- 59:09Speaker 1: of them got a few cars, so she let me
- 59:11Speaker 1: keep a car, one by most of my clothes, one
- 59:14Speaker 1: let me live, went free on the rental house, and
- 59:17Speaker 1: one of it is pregnant by me again. Hold, let
- 59:19Speaker 1: me go back down to this line. It would be
- 59:21Speaker 1: easier for me financially to have everybody live together. I
- 59:24Speaker 1: wouldn't have to run around spending time. Be easy for
- 59:26Speaker 1: you financially. You got a free car, free rent, free clothes,
- 59:31Speaker 1: and you stay, what what's your puck ass need some
- 59:35Speaker 1: more financial freedom? To hell is you talking about? Come on,
- 59:41Speaker 1: we got fart two. Come on part two. Steve's response
- 59:45Speaker 1: at twenty three after the hour, you're listening to morning show.
- 59:50Speaker 1: All right, Steve, let's recap today's crazy. This is the
- 59:55Speaker 1: chain crazy strawberry letter. I got this signy ass man
- 59:59Speaker 1: and loading yes telling me that he a single man
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: enjoying his life. He needs to me by he got
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: four women all in love with him, and they got
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: a baby by each one of the women, and he
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: finding it hard to pick one to settle down with
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: because they're all good to me. I rotate my time,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: I go on dates, I have sex with him regular
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: and they don't seem to have a problem. I pointed
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: out earlier. They don't have a problem because you are
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: telling each one of them they the one that you
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: that they they favored. If you're going that far, which
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: I don't think you are, you've told each one of
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: them they the one. They don't have a problem with
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: it because you're not telling them how eat deep you
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: in with each other. You ain't told the one that's
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: giving you free clothes that the other one giving you
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: a free car. You ain't told the one that's giving
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: you a free car that the other would give you
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: ass free rent. You ain't saying none of this, I
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: promise you, boy, you ain't said this to no damn.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: The reason they're doing this is because they think they're
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: helping you with the hopes that you and their baby
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: gonna one day be a family. So now one of
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: them is pregnant by you again once again, just let
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: me stop. I don't know what sex class you took
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: in junior high. They have an elementary school it's called
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: a condo. Yeah, there's a section in the store you
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: can walk down. They so popular now they lock them up. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: it's called a condom. Now, I don't know how to
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: tell the other three that I'm having a child. Wait
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: a minute, excuse me. You just said you have sex
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: with all of them regularly and they don't seem to
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: have problem with it. You just said that. Now you
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: come back down here and say you don't know how
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: to tell them. You tell them, tell them what you
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: telling them, Tell them that you have sex with them regularly,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: and they cool with it. Everybody know what happened when
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: you have sex regularly without no condom. So they already
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: got babies. They're not gonna be surprised. All of these
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: women are like my best friend. I can't imagine my
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: life without him. I guess you can't because you ain't
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: got no life without him. You ain't got no car,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: you ain't gonna housing, and you asking, you ain't got
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: no clothes. I was thinking, so I have idea that
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: I won't talk to him about. I was thinking it
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: would be great if we could be one big, happy family. Okay,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: that's what you're thinking. That that's what you can come
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: up with. I wish you would go in. Now. They
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: all get along and they all love me, so we
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: could have one house and raise the kids together. Now
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: calling to hit this on the head. So now you
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: thank you white right? You think you live in you
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: talk and you think you on HBO with a show
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: called Sister Why and then and then and then, and
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: he said, do you think it would work? On my crazy?
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: Let me ask you that these black women. Do I
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: think this will work? Let me ask you that it's
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: the black women the hell you think? Go ask your
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: sister with this work. Go ask one of your aunts,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: ask your mama, get your grandmma in the room and
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: run this boy. Do I think it will work? It's
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: these women black punk ass. Now let's get on back
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: up to this lack. I don't know how to bring
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: up the idea to him, especially since a new baby
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: is on the way. Now, hold on, partner, They all
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: get along, see you lying in They all know each other.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: You dog. Now, I know people may judge me, but
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: these are good girls and I treat them all with respect.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: First of all, young man, what you really need to
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: do is you need to go get your diction there.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: You need to sit down, and I need you to
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: look up to what the definition of respect is. Respect
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: is treating a person the way you would want to
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: be treated yourself. Respect is honoring a person's wishes, even
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: even if they defy your own wishes. That's what respect is.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: Respect is honoring a person's will to have a right
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: to do their choice in life, and you accepting that
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: in spite of That's what respect is. You don't know
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: what it is. It would be easier man, for me
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: financially to have everybody together, and I would have to
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: run around spending time when you see you're tired, ain't you? Yeah?
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah. See this is this that you just
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: describe to me, Tommy and Junior. This is where your
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: ass out. You have any idea how hard it is
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: to please one woman? Man, do your job, the job
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: of raising a happy family, one woman with folk kids.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: You got four women with four kids and one on
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: the way. Boy, you don't know who you wrote this
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: letter too. Then you said at the end of the letter,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: I'm just a father that's trying to do the right thing.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: Please about Here's what the father trying to do the
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: right thing does. He takes care of his children. You
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: are now about to be the father of five. I
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: have probably a little bit more than you do. Man, brother,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: Just take care of them kids. Be a man, pick
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: you a woman. Treat her like a queen, because, like
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: Tommy said, how would you like if they came and
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: told you they had full extra dudes? Come on running right.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: You can email or instagram us your thoughts on today's
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Strawberry Letters. Steve Harvey fling him pass on demand now
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: coming up at forty six after the hour. Today is
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: National Voter Registration Day. We got some business right after this.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. Today is
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: National Voter Registration Day. Every year, millions of Americans find
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: themselves unable to vote because they miss a registration deadline,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: don't update the registration, or they just aren't sure how
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: to register. So I want you right now, we want
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: you to go to National Voter Registration dot org to
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: register to vote. You can also find out about voter
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: registration deadlines by state, voting times, locations, whether or not
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: you're eligible to register, and more. That's National Voter Registration
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: dot org and Steve Tommy Junior. Steve, First, let's start
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: with you please tell people the importance of registering to
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: vote and voting. We gotta get this done. Here's the
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: thing that I would say to everybody about the importance
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: of registry. If you don't register to vote, Donald Trump
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: will be president for fomal years. To be a line
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: of people out right now. And if you think that
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: this is the example of what the president should be
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: as an example for your children, it's something wrong with you.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: I'm having a hard time with the Republican Party who
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: seems to allow him to get away with whatever, and
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: because of position, power and money, they're willing to lay
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: down their supposed values of their great party. The GOP
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: is supposed to be the heart throb of America. It's
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: supposed to be the party of principles. But you're allowing
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: the president of the United States not to adhere to
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: into those principles. Soul family, he'd been paid off the hooker,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: and he'd in balked the playboy bunny in here his
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: house while he married. That's okay, Karen McDougall's story. That's okay.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: His lawyer has told you that he did these things
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: by orders of him, the president. But because he's a
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: sitting president. He can't be indicted, that's okay. He's talked
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: about women in degrading ways. He's talked about Native American people.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: He doesn't care about children at the border. He thinks
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: that if you come south in your SKNA white, something's
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: wrong with you being in this country. And if you
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: think that the slogan make America great again applies to you,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: when was America better for us as black people? So
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: where they trying to take us back to. If that
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: don't make you vote, then let him be president again. Wow,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: says Staid. Yes. National Voter Registration dot org registered to
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: vote today coming up at the top of the hour.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: September is Sickle Cell Awareness Month, and Junior, you're gonna
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: tell us about it and tell us about your foundation.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: And at the top of the hours, that's your foundation.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: You're listening Stry Morning Show. All right, we're back, Junior
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: standing by to tell us about National Sickle Cell Awareness Month.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: And we were talking about today it's National voted Registration Day.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: And if you Tommy, you want to yeah, can we
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: put these voted registrations? Can we put them in Chick
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: fil A? And Pope put that way? Everybody that's hey, Tommy,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: We'll standing in line, vote, line up, all right and
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: building for damn Chicken sanding. Ain't gonna do nothing but
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: change your waistline. Ain't got nothing to do with your
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: damn life, exactly right. Yeah, I love that, Tommy right,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: stand in line for Jordan's Kanye because all of Chicken sandwiches,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: spend the night outside Apple get that new damn phone.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: Yeah yet the vote National Voter Registration Day is today
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: and also to go to Steve Harvey FM on social
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: media Instagram, Facebook. We got a lot of celebrities talking
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: about the importance of voting. Felicia Rashad, Tina knows, Beyonce Mom.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: So I want you to tell if this doesn't get
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: you turned out to vote, I don't know what to do.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know. And not just voting
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: in the federal election. You gotta vote in your local election.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: You gotta keep voting. You can't just wait for the
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: presidential election to vote. You gotta vote for the mayor,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: the judge, the sheriff's department, all of this Congress, House, Democrats, Senate.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: You have to keep voting in your community. You gotta
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: keep doing it. Guys, this is the problem. Now he's
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: the president and then he has a Republican rand Congress
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: that's gonna give him everything he wants. You gotta keep
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: voting time because if even if the House voted to
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: pass something, the Senate, because and we've understood this, listen
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: to me, they don't care about who's right or wrong.
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: They only care about the party. It's party over country. Now,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: if it was country over party, they would not allow
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: him to get away with what he's getting away with.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: But he can feel like he can do anything. The
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: Democrats pitt thirty some million dollars on the Muller report
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: that turned up nothing of real value. But the stuff
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: that they did turn out where he said that he
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: could have pressed charges, but you can't indict the sitting presidents.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: The stuff that they did come up with that was questionable.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: The House can't act on it because they don't think
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: it's strong enough to get it passed the Senate. The
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: Senate is ignoring it because it's their god, yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: the majority. And as long as he's the president, they
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: are in power, they in position, and they in the money,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: and they're not giving up power, position of money for
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: their country. This this is This is the most ridiculous
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: government we've ever seen. And all he does is trying
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: to resind everything Barack Obama has done. Why would receive
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: the fair Water Act? Who? Who wants to get rid
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: of clean water? The Emissions Act? He wants that done
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: away within California. Oh man, this dude, man, it's just
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: trying to destroy this man's presidency by making but all
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: he this is a cut off your nose despite your face. Move.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: This dude is the worst. And he's fighting real hard
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: for reelection because he knows if he's not president, he'll
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: come the indictments. He knows president, here comes the indictments
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: because New York is sitting there waiting. Yeah, all right,
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: y'all got a register to vote? Okay, Junior, September being
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: National Sickle Cell Awareness Month. Tell us about it, and
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: how are you doing? How you feeling Junior? Were sick? Yeah? Good?
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: Too good? You know I'm feeling good now. You know
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: I'm on imagine that. But you know one thing about man,
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: Sickle cell Awards A man, I'm really proud of the
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: strides you're really making in sickle celle. You know there's
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: gene therapy, stem sale research still going on and just
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: making a lot of great strides. And also, you know,
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: my foundation, kiers Hope, just words to chake the change
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: in shape of sickle celle. You know, I really just
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: want to help people with sickle sale not just the
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: people with sick seal, but their entire families. Hold that thought, Junior,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: because we want to continue the conversation. We'll come back
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: at twenty after. Junior would tell us more about his
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: foundation than the work he's doing. Kiers Hope, We'll be
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: back at twenty after. You're listening, Okay, Junior, So last break,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: you were telling us about your foundation, Hope. September is
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: a National sickle cell Awareness months. Well, you know, my
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: foundation works to take care of the family of the
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: child who has sickle cell you know. I mean one
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: thing you have to understand that when you have a
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: sickle cell prise, it affects the entire family. I couldn't
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: believe my parents had to take off work because I
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: got sick and everybody showed up and they can't take
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: off and that salary income, that's loss from the house.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: So around the Christmas time, I try to For the
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: last six years, I've been buying families Christmases in different
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: cities around the other country every year. Man. And so
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: right now I've donated up sixty thousand dollars so far
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: on my own who you know. And let me tell
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: you something else though, that it was really big this
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: past June. Everybody knows I have. I have my five
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: k run every June in the city of Dallas. And man,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: it really made me proud that the state of Texas,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: my home state, they made Here's Hope Month for the
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: entire month of June in the state of Texas and
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: the city giving you a propagation. Man, I just thank
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: God man that I'm able to be a marriage. Have
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: you ever done stem sale for sickle sale? Have you
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: ever done? I haven't got done anything. I might be
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: a little too old. Oh I'm gonna see you know, Yeah,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: I mean too old. I'll just see you know. I'm
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: looking them. Tell everybody the website the information from Kiers Hopes.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: It's Keers Hope ki e r f Kershope dot org.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: That's heres Hope dot org. If you like to donate,
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: well like we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Thank you, Junior.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: All right, more of the Steve Happy Morning Show we'll
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: have trending news, a little bit more fun music, all
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: of that at thirty three after the album You're listening
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: to show in Today's Entertainment News. Check this out, guys,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: this is really sad. Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: Moore and her husband Mark Daily have called it quits
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: after just two years of marriage. Ken You release the
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: statement saying, it is with profound sadness that I regret
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: to inform my fans that I'm divorcing my husband Mark Daily.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: Kenya went on she told People Magazine, due to recent
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage,
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: and then she went on to say my sole concern
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: and focus is will always be with my daughter Brooklyn,
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: her miracle baby Junior. You know what, there's some rumors
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: out on some of the blogs that are saying that
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: Kenya is actually Mark's second wife and that he had
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: other kids from a previous marriage. Now that's a rumor.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Don't know if that's completely true. But if that's true,
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: I don't know if she knew that. It seems like
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: the rumors trying to say that she didn't know these
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: things because her and her husband was just on the
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: Tamren Hall Show last week and she was talking about
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: he was the love of you know, her life and
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: her husband. So it's just some weird stuff, weird rumors
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: going on about that. So it's just really sad to
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: marriage is a fight, man. It's it's it's it's it's
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: a lot of work. And it's not when I say
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: it's a fight, it's it's. It's a fight worth having
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: a lot of times. If you're with the right person,
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: you gotta fight for your marriage sometimes. You know, if
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: you're with the right persons. It's not smooth sailing. I
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: don't care whatever anybody portrays it out to be. It's
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: it's not smooth sailing. Nothing is your job day. It's
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: just not. There's some days where it's the greatest thing
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: ever happened to you, and then there's some days you
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: been looking upside of the head going hello, married him?
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: Hell did I sure? Marjorie has looked at me several
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: times when why did did he? Crazy? My husband is crazy?
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: I know, I know my wife. I think she used
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: us another term though. Hey, I'm like, well no, I'm
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: just I don't think crazy he thought, Yeah, So I
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: don't know it's really sad about Kenyan Mark. Hopefully not.
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe they can do some kind of
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: reconciliation turns, you know, for her to go on. I think,
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: you know, see, but this reality thing, this whole reality
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: and I'm sorry it brings me great regret. Nod. Heyy,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: stop writing your story. Just you know, live your life.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: Everybody ain't got to know everything about you, because you
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: might get a chance to work this out if you
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: keep it out the public. Guy, Well, she's back on
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: reality shit. You know, they're shooting the current season or
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: the next season of Real Housewives of Atlanta. So she's
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: a reality star, so her life is out there. She
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: put it out there. Once you be on reality TV,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: it's yeah, that's it all right. Coming up Steve's closing
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: remarks at forty nine after the hour. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: it is the last break of the day. Time for
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: you to take us home on this Tuesday. Say it
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: was a good day to day. A lot of information
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: on the show today. Yeah, and what you got for us?
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: All right? You know in my closing remarks, I try
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: to mix it up. Yesterday I talked about all comfort
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: and convenience, how in order to build a life of convenience.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Convenience is built through inconvenience and to build a life
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: of comfortable. To build a life of comfort, you have
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: to be You have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: And these are just true statements. Now here's something else
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: I want to share with you. This is a little
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: bit more direct. This is a little bit more This
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: is everybody. People oftentimes ask me, Steve, why do you
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: talk about faith? This is just from my own experience.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: I have no other way to explain how I've got
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: to where I am today. Had it not been for
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: my faith, had it not been for my mother, who
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: was a Sunday school teacher, who taught me about God,
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: who taught me about prayer, taught me about faith, who
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: taught me about having a relationship with God. Had it
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: not been for that teaching right there, I wouldn't be
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: here today. Now there are people who will tell you
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: that they have become successful without a relationship with God,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: and that can happen. Will it last? No, But it
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: can happen. But the reason it won't last is because
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: there will come a point in time in your life
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: where you will have to know God and if you
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: don't know him, there will come a point in time
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: in your life where you will wish you did. That
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: will become a point in time in your life where
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: you will call his name as you've never called it before.
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: It happens to us all it will happen before you
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: leave here. You will you will acknowledge the fact that
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: He exists. Now here's the upside. Because God is not
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: a god that he wants us to have this life
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: for fear. And oh my God, if I don't do this,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: I ain't gonna get this God that God is really
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: not that way. God comes to give you life and
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: give you life more abundantly. Here's a reason I enjoy
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: my faith. Here's the reason I enjoy having a relationship
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: with God. See so many people I don't want to
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: go to hell and I want Let's let's talk about
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: the positivity of it. That's some good reasons for having faith.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: That's some great reasons for have relationship with God. This
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: relationship with God, I have feel safe. I don't feel things.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: I'm not afraid of what somebody can do to me.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: I'm not I'm not I'm not afraid of a decision
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: that a company can make about me. I'm not. I'm
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: not fretful of what anybody may think about my income.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: I feel safe. I'm also I'm reassured that when something
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: goes contrary to what I thought was gonna happen, guess what,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: I'm reassured because of my faith in my relationship with God,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: that that too go work out on my behalf. Also,
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: I enjoyed this relationship because I have a constant guide.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: I constantly can ask God for guidance and He'll give
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: it to me. My guide happens to be a king.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: But this king is also my best friend, this relationship
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: that I have with him, He is my best friend
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: and my king. Man, don't you know it's kind of
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: cool having a king is your best friend? Who can
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: make decisions? Man, who can help you out, Who've got answers,
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: who got resources, who has a way out, who can
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: be with you through everything you're going through and never
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: leave you. My King is my best friend. I enjoyed
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: because of my faith in my relationship. I enjoyed having
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: his companionship, a place that I can go to get
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: real answers, somebody I can talk to about anything I'm
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: talking about. Man, I'd haven't been in some trouble. I
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: haven't been sick, I hadn't been counted out. But because
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: he's my companion, I can talk to him about anything.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: And you know what I really love about my relationship
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: and my faith. He got answers. He got real answers. Man,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: he got real I don't care what your situation is,
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: he got answers. They're scriptures written about everything you're going through.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: There's actually prayers about everything you're going through. You ain't
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: running across nothing new. I don't care nothing about technology
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: and none of that. You're running into nothing new. The
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: stuff they're saying about you on the internet. They talked
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: about Jesus. He didn't do nothing to nobody. He gives
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: me inspiration. There's so many stories that I can read about,
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: so many incidents in scriptures that I can get inspired. Man,
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: that God don't really ever leave you. I'm so reassured
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: that he's with me every step of the way, that
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: he didn't bring me this far to leave me. That
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: all things work for the good to those who love him.
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: It's so many things that I have inspired me. Man,
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: When I get up, when I'm through praying that I
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: just feel better That's why I like my faith in
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: my relationship with God. You should just look into it. Man.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: You ain't got to be perfect to have one. You
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: just want to have to talk to him. Just start
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: talking to him. That's all you got to do, all right.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: Those are my closing remarks today. Did right there, y'all
