- 0:00Speaker 1: There is a really sad reality in this country right now,
- 0:04Speaker 1: and that is if you are a hard working American
- 0:07Speaker 1: man and you say something online that's supposed to be funny,
- 0:11Speaker 1: it can cost you your job if people find it
- 0:14Speaker 1: politically incorrect.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Right.
- 0:15Speaker 1: There's instant accountability for anything that isn't perfect in the
- 0:20Speaker 1: private sector in this country, especially if you are a conservative.
- 0:24Speaker 2: But what is the accountability like.
- 0:27Speaker 1: If you're a government employee, for example, maybe you're in
- 0:31Speaker 1: charge of the secret Service detail that's screwed up to
- 0:35Speaker 1: the point where you have a president of the United
- 0:37Speaker 1: States of America or the former president Donald Trump and
- 0:39Speaker 1: the leader to become the president of United States of America,
- 0:42Speaker 1: you know, get shot. How many people lose their jobs
- 0:45Speaker 1: when there's a building that is in plain sight from
- 0:50Speaker 1: where the president a perfect shot for where the president's
- 0:52Speaker 1: standing on a stage, for example, and no one's on
- 0:56Speaker 1: that rooftop. What happens then? Is there any ability? The
- 1:01Speaker 1: answer is very clearly no. How do we know this
- 1:04Speaker 1: because the acting director testified before Congress and was asked like,
- 1:10Speaker 1: who's been fired?
- 1:11Speaker 2: How many people have been fired? Has anyone been fired? Right?
- 1:15Speaker 1: Well, we don't have anyone that's been fired. And you
- 1:17Speaker 1: may say, well, hold on, I'm going to fact check you, Ben,
- 1:20Speaker 1: that's not true.
- 1:20Speaker 2: The FBI director is gone. That's true.
- 1:23Speaker 1: She resigned. She was not fired by the President of
- 1:26Speaker 1: the United States of America. Remember, Joe Biden fires no one.
- 1:29Speaker 1: In fact, I'm not sure there's anything you can do
- 1:31Speaker 1: in this administration to get you fired. But what was
- 1:34Speaker 1: even more shocking when the new acting director went before
- 1:40Speaker 1: the Senate. I've got a lot more to say about
- 1:42Speaker 1: this in a moment, but I want to tell you
- 1:44Speaker 1: about my friends over at Patriot Mobile. For ten years,
- 1:47Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile has been America's only Christian conservative wireless provider.
- 1:51Speaker 1: And when I say only, I mean it. Patriot Mobile
- 1:54Speaker 1: is an incredible company that takes five percent of your
- 1:57Speaker 1: bill every month and they give it back at no
- 2:00Speaker 1: extra cost to you to conservative causes, candidates and organizations
- 2:06Speaker 1: that support our first our Second Amendment rights, religious freedom,
- 2:10Speaker 1: the sanctity of life, and our military, our veterans, and
- 2:14Speaker 1: our first responders. Now you may hear that and say, well, Ben,
- 2:17Speaker 1: that's great, we love that, right, Yeay, Why does that
- 2:20Speaker 1: matter so much? Well, if you're with Big Mobile, who
- 2:22Speaker 1: you're probably with right now, you've actually been giving massive
- 2:25Speaker 1: donations to Plan Parenthood radical causes candidates at the local, state,
- 2:33Speaker 1: and national level. You probably didn't even realize that your
- 2:37Speaker 1: money was going to places like Planned Parenthood, But now
- 2:40Speaker 1: you know. And the question is are you going to
- 2:42Speaker 1: stand up for what you believe in and stop giving
- 2:44Speaker 1: your money to candidates and to those organizations that you
- 2:48Speaker 1: cannot stand Well, that's why I switched to Patriot Mobile.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile is easy to switch now. It is easier
- 2:55Speaker 1: now than it's ever been. And when I say easy,
- 2:58Speaker 1: I'm not kidding when I say it is easy. It
- 3:01Speaker 1: is incredibly easy to make the switch right now to
- 3:05Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile.
- 3:05Speaker 2: You can do it over the phone.
- 3:08Speaker 1: All you got to do is call them the number
- 3:11Speaker 1: nine to seven to two Patriot call them, use my
- 3:14Speaker 1: name Ben.
- 3:15Speaker 2: You're gonna get free activation. Make the switch.
- 3:18Speaker 1: You keep your same cell phone, same cell phone number,
- 3:20Speaker 1: and every time you make a call, every time you
- 3:23Speaker 1: send a text, every time you pay your bill, you're
- 3:25Speaker 1: standing up for what you believe in nine seven to
- 3:28Speaker 1: two Patriot get free activation when you use the offer
- 3:31Speaker 1: code Ben or online at Patriotmobile dot com slash Ben.
- 3:35Speaker 1: That's Patriot Mobile dot com slash Ben I want you
- 3:38Speaker 1: to hear what he said on one basic issue, which
- 3:41Speaker 1: is the most mind blowing twenty nine seconds of this
- 3:45Speaker 1: entire hearing.
- 3:46Speaker 3: No information regarding a weapon on the roof was ever
- 3:49Speaker 3: passed to our personnel. How is that even possible? Do
- 3:54Speaker 3: you want to comment to that senator again? I believe
- 3:58Speaker 3: that information and this is probably something my colleague can
- 4:02Speaker 3: expound on, information that was in law enforcement local law
- 4:07Speaker 3: enforcement channels but did not cross over and make it
- 4:10Speaker 3: to Secret Service awareness.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Mike Lee. Sener, Mike Lee, you hear they're asking that
- 4:15Speaker 1: simple question. How is that even possible? Because the Acting
- 4:20Speaker 1: Secret Service Director, Ronald Road Junior his quote again, no
- 4:24Speaker 1: information regarding a weapon on the roof was ever Okay,
- 4:28Speaker 1: I'm want to make sure you understand that word he says,
- 4:31Speaker 1: was ever passed to our personnel? The personnel is he's saying,
- 4:36Speaker 1: our personnel, the Secret Service? Sener, Mike Lee, how is
- 4:40Speaker 1: that even possible? Not only that, but the FBI deputy director,
- 4:46Speaker 1: and this was also someone at the hearing, was asked
- 4:49Speaker 1: another question, and I want you to hear what the
- 4:52Speaker 1: FBI director had to say.
- 4:55Speaker 2: The acting director had to say, listen to this.
- 4:57Speaker 4: We don't have definitive evidence yet as to how he
- 5:00Speaker 4: got the rifle up there. Based on everything that's been
- 5:03Speaker 4: collected thus far, photos, video, eyewitness accounts, we do believe
- 5:08Speaker 4: he likely had it in the.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Backpack, broken down in the backpack. We're still assessing that.
- 5:15Speaker 4: Our laboratory has taken it, looked at the rifle itself
- 5:18Speaker 4: and measured that against the backpack itself, and if placed
- 5:22Speaker 4: in this backpack it would extend outside, it would have
- 5:25Speaker 4: been visible. We don't have anyone who has observed him,
- 5:28Speaker 4: who observed him with the backpack with a rifle barrel
- 5:32Speaker 4: or other part of it sticking out of the backpack,
- 5:36Speaker 4: but the rifle would not have fit fully into this
- 5:38Speaker 4: backpack to be concealed in whole.
- 5:42Speaker 3: We have video that was.
- 5:44Speaker 4: Recently found of the shooter walking in a distance from
- 5:49Speaker 4: his car just before six pm, about five point fifty six,
- 5:54Speaker 4: I believe, and based on everything we have, we assess
- 5:57Speaker 4: that he returned to his vehicle at that time, I
- 6:00Speaker 4: got the backpack and then proceeded back to the area
- 6:04Speaker 4: and to the AGR building and then he's observed of
- 6:07Speaker 4: course on the roof just you know, minutes later, holding
- 6:12Speaker 4: the backpack in front of him. In fact, there's dashcam
- 6:15Speaker 4: footage from a police vehicle that shows him briefly traversing
- 6:20Speaker 4: the roof with the backpack in front of him, and
- 6:23Speaker 4: then it's just minutes after that that he's actually seen
- 6:25Speaker 4: by the officer who I described with the rifle on
- 6:29Speaker 4: the roof. It's possible that he broke the rifle down,
- 6:33Speaker 4: but we don't have conclusive evidence of that and took
- 6:36Speaker 4: it out of the bag on the roof in those
- 6:38Speaker 4: moments before and reassembled there. That's one of the theories
- 6:41Speaker 4: we're looking at and working on right now.
- 6:43Speaker 1: We have a answer here. The FBI deputy director admits
- 6:49Speaker 1: that while the FBI quote has no definitive evidence of
- 6:53Speaker 1: how exactly the Trump jeter managed to get an AR
- 6:55Speaker 1: fifteen on the roof, he admits this juter most likely
- 6:58Speaker 1: had it in his backpack. We can't even figure that
- 7:01Speaker 1: out right now.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Now.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I'm not blaming the FBI deputy director for that answer.
- 7:05Speaker 1: What I am saying is this was such a colossal
- 7:10Speaker 1: just you know what up that the question goes back
- 7:15Speaker 1: to what I said at the very beginning. How is
- 7:17Speaker 1: it possible that a hard working American man in this
- 7:20Speaker 1: country can put an off color joke out on the
- 7:23Speaker 1: Internet that somebody's offended by. We can find that person
- 7:26Speaker 1: and make sure they get fired from their job for that.
- 7:30Speaker 2: But you have this big of a screw.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Up, and you have an acting Secret Service director who says, yeah,
- 7:38Speaker 1: we had no information regarding a weapon on the roof
- 7:40Speaker 1: that was ever passed to the Secret Service. They weren't
- 7:42Speaker 1: talking to local law enforcement. Yeah, we didn't have anybuy
- 7:46Speaker 1: in the roof there. Yet are bad? Hey, we lost
- 7:48Speaker 1: this guy out there that we didn't even know existed
- 7:49Speaker 1: because no one told us about it, because we weren't
- 7:52Speaker 1: contacting or in contact with the people on the ground
- 7:55Speaker 1: that we're seeing this guy. And we don't even know
- 7:57Speaker 1: how we got a gun on a roof? How is
- 7:58Speaker 1: it that with this many questions, basic questions, they can't answer.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Has no one been fired? No one has been fired
- 8:09Speaker 1: for any of this. There is a double standard. Do
- 8:12Speaker 1: you understand just how big the double standard is? Now,
- 8:17Speaker 1: while I'm telling you this, there is another major news
- 8:21Speaker 1: story that I want to get on your radar screen.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I'm going to ask syner Ted Cruz about this coming
- 8:24Speaker 1: up in a moment, and he actually went back and
- 8:27Speaker 1: forth with the leader of the acting director of the
- 8:31Speaker 1: Secret Service, and I'm going to play that for you.
- 8:34Speaker 1: It is an amazing conversation and back and forth of
- 8:37Speaker 1: him just dismantling the Secret Service director.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I'm going to have that in a moment.
- 8:41Speaker 1: But before I get to that, there's other big breaking
- 8:43Speaker 1: news that you need to know about.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Hamas's political leader.
- 8:47Speaker 1: It's now being reported has been killed in Iran in Tehran.
- 8:53Speaker 1: We go back to this over and over again. The
- 8:55Speaker 1: Biden administration has done nothing to stop Iran. We've given
- 8:59Speaker 1: the money, We've released funds, We've not actually dealt with
- 9:05Speaker 1: any of the sanctions that are quote on them actually
- 9:08Speaker 1: enforcing those sanctions on their oil. We've allowed them to
- 9:11Speaker 1: get rich. And what are they doing with the money?
- 9:14Speaker 1: They are giving it to these terrorist organizations Amasen has
- 9:18Speaker 1: bought to kill innocent people in Israel, including those kids
- 9:20Speaker 1: playing soccer. Over the weekend, we now know that the
- 9:24Speaker 1: Hamas leader was killed in an explosion in Iran's capital
- 9:31Speaker 1: of Tehran. The militant group and Iran State TV has
- 9:36Speaker 1: now said the news. The Independent is now looking at
- 9:42Speaker 1: this and they're saying yes, they believe this happened as
- 9:45Speaker 1: well as they're reporting it there with reporters on the ground.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Now.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Want to be clear here, we don't know anything else
- 9:53Speaker 1: at the moment while I'm recording this. But what we
- 9:57Speaker 1: do know is there's been some very big, big victories
- 10:01Speaker 1: now that are coming at the hands of Israel against
- 10:04Speaker 1: these leaders, and that is extremely important. It is extremely
- 10:11Speaker 1: important for people to understand that this is now a
- 10:15Speaker 1: moment where it seems like Iran is starting to be
- 10:18Speaker 1: able to take out these leaders. Iran has now said
- 10:22Speaker 1: officially that Hamas leader was quote assassinated in Tehran. That's
- 10:28Speaker 1: coming in As I'm recording this, some of this will change.
- 10:32Speaker 1: But what we know now is that apparently Israel has
- 10:35Speaker 1: killed Hesbla's number two where do they kill him in Beirut,
- 10:39Speaker 1: Lebanon and Hamas's number one in Iran in Tehran. Iran
- 10:47Speaker 1: is also the same country that has hired an assassination
- 10:51Speaker 1: team to kill Donald Trump, which has also been a
- 10:56Speaker 1: major issue. I'm going to break all of this down
- 10:59Speaker 1: for you, Senator Ted Cruz coming up. Senator Cruz and
- 11:04Speaker 1: I set down to do our podcast, and I want
- 11:06Speaker 1: you to hear what he had to say about the
- 11:09Speaker 1: Secret Services. Just horrific leadership and lack of answers that
- 11:16Speaker 1: they are giving about the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. Senator,
- 11:20Speaker 1: so set the stage for us real quick. I want
- 11:22Speaker 1: to play. Obviously, you're back and forth with the acting
- 11:26Speaker 1: director as you got to ask a lot of questions,
- 11:28Speaker 1: and it didn't go well for him. It's made a
- 11:30Speaker 1: lot of headlines, but set the stage of how important
- 11:34Speaker 1: this hearing was and why it was taking place.
- 11:37Speaker 5: So this was yesterday morning. It was a joint hearing
- 11:41Speaker 5: of the Senate Judiciary Committee and the Senate Committee on
- 11:44Speaker 5: Homeland Security, and we head the acting director of the
- 11:48Speaker 5: Secret Service, the former director has finally resigned given the
- 11:52Speaker 5: catastrophic failures we saw, and the deputy director of the FBI.
- 11:56Speaker 5: And so it was hearing that went all morning, and
- 11:59Speaker 5: I got to say, there was enormous concerned, enormous skepticism.
- 12:03Speaker 5: We saw it from both Republicans and Democrats who were
- 12:07Speaker 5: asking about the disastrous failures of the Secret Service. And listen,
- 12:12Speaker 5: the acting director, he is somewhat better than the old director.
- 12:17Speaker 5: The old director was brazen, she was defiant. Her view
- 12:21Speaker 5: was we owe nothing, we owe no accountability, We will
- 12:24Speaker 5: not answer any question. We did everything right to his credit.
- 12:29Speaker 5: The acting Director began his testimony by saying, we screwed up.
- 12:34Speaker 5: We screwed up really badly. And the fact that there
- 12:37Speaker 5: was not an agent on the roof where the shooter
- 12:39Speaker 5: was was utterly indefensible. That's a step in the right direction.
- 12:43Speaker 5: That being said, he's stonewalled, and he stonewalled in a
- 12:47Speaker 5: way that was infuriating. And look, rather than me describe
- 12:51Speaker 5: it to you, just give a listen. Here's my questioning
- 12:54Speaker 5: of the Acting Director of the Secret Service yesterday morning.
- 12:58Speaker 5: Thank you, miss chairman, mister Row, thank you for being here.
- 13:02Speaker 5: I agree with what you said at the outset that
- 13:04Speaker 5: the individual Secret Service agents demonstrated remarkable personal courage putting
- 13:09Speaker 5: their bodies in between the line of sight of the
- 13:11Speaker 5: shooter and the president. That being said, the bravery of
- 13:15Speaker 5: the line agents is quite different from the decisions of
- 13:18Speaker 5: Secret Service leadership. Secret Service leadership committed catastrophic security failures,
- 13:25Speaker 5: indeed the worst security failures for the Secret Service since
- 13:29Speaker 5: nineteen eighty one, since the attempted assassination of President Ronald Reagan.
- 13:34Speaker 5: It is incumbent upon this committee to determine why those
- 13:39Speaker 5: security failures happened. Just after the shooting Secret Service put
- 13:46Speaker 5: out an official statement from your spokesperson that says, there's
- 13:49Speaker 5: an untrue assertion that a member of the former president's
- 13:52Speaker 5: team requested additional security resources that those were rebuffed. This
- 13:56Speaker 5: is absolutely false. In fact, we added protective resources and
- 14:00Speaker 5: technology and capabilities as part of the increased campaign travel tempo.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Was this tweet accurate with respect to Butler, Pennsylvania. It
- 14:09Speaker 3: is accurate, sir.
- 14:11Speaker 5: It is accurate that the Trump team had not asked
- 14:16Speaker 5: for additional security and had not been rebuffed.
- 14:20Speaker 3: If you're talking about Butler, Pennsylvania, all assets requested were approved.
- 14:24Speaker 3: If you're talking about the media reporting of assets requested,
- 14:30Speaker 3: there were times when assets were unavailable and not able
- 14:34Speaker 3: to be filled, and those gaps were staffed with state
- 14:38Speaker 3: and local law enforcement tactical assets.
- 14:40Speaker 5: So I'm reading from the Washington Post July twentieth, twenty
- 14:44Speaker 5: twenty four. Secret Services denied requests for more security at
- 14:47Speaker 5: Trump events the opening paragraph. Top officials of the US
- 14:50Speaker 5: Secret Service repeatedly denied requests for additional resources and personnel
- 14:54Speaker 5: sought by Donald Trump's security detail in the two years
- 14:57Speaker 5: leading up to his attempted assassination. According to four people
- 15:01Speaker 5: familiar with the requests. Is that right that repeatedly the
- 15:05Speaker 5: Trump detail asked for more resources and repeatedly Secret Service
- 15:08Speaker 5: leadership turned that down.
- 15:10Speaker 3: That is not accurate, Senator, assets are requested. There's a
- 15:15Speaker 3: process that has made.
- 15:17Speaker 5: How many requests did the Trump team or the Trump
- 15:20Speaker 5: Detail ask for?
- 15:22Speaker 3: I can get you that number in a qu you don't.
- 15:24Speaker 3: You don't know now, so I can speak to the
- 15:26Speaker 3: ones that reported in the Washington Post and we can
- 15:28Speaker 3: go through them if you like.
- 15:29Speaker 5: But you don't know how many requests there were in general?
- 15:33Speaker 3: How many requests since twenty twenty one that the former
- 15:36Speaker 3: Trump detail has made a request.
- 15:37Speaker 5: For asking You've had two weeks you had a spokesperson
- 15:39Speaker 5: put something out that is false on its face. By
- 15:42Speaker 5: the way, did you approve this statement when it went out?
- 15:45Speaker 3: I don't know if I did or didn't say.
- 15:47Speaker 5: Has this spokesperson is he still employed?
- 15:49Speaker 3: Does he still have still employed? Center?
- 15:51Speaker 5: So he lied on behalf of the Secret Service? He
- 15:53Speaker 5: still has a job. Did your predecessor, the former director,
- 15:55Speaker 5: does she approve the statement?
- 15:57Speaker 3: Senator? Are Comm's team they send out statements, they do
- 16:03Speaker 3: deconflict them, and they put them out.
- 16:05Speaker 5: Did she approve this statement?
- 16:07Speaker 3: I don't know if she did or did not, and
- 16:09Speaker 3: you don't know if you did either. I don't recall
- 16:12Speaker 3: approving it. Senator.
- 16:14Speaker 5: Will you commit to provide this committee in writing every
- 16:18Speaker 5: written request for additional resources from the Trump campaign or
- 16:21Speaker 5: the Trump Detail and every response from Secret Service?
- 16:26Speaker 3: Senator, I will commit to providing responses and getting you
- 16:29Speaker 3: the information that you're seeking.
- 16:33Speaker 5: Me ask you something, and who makes the decision to
- 16:37Speaker 5: deny those requests? Did you make that decision?
- 16:40Speaker 3: Which requests are you telling about the ones that written
- 16:42Speaker 3: in the post?
- 16:43Speaker 5: Yes?
- 16:43Speaker 3: The processor is that a detail will make a request
- 16:48Speaker 3: for either staffing technical assets that is handled between the
- 16:53Speaker 3: field office and the detail. It goes up to a
- 16:55Speaker 3: logistics office between our.
- 16:58Speaker 5: Okay, so there's a bureaucracy. Is there a decision maker?
- 17:00Speaker 5: It's not a bureaucracy, Senator, it's a person that's a
- 17:03Speaker 5: decision maker. Is there one, Senator? It's a conversation. It's
- 17:07Speaker 5: not just an absolute yet. So let me tell you
- 17:10Speaker 5: what I believe. I believe that the Secret Service leadership
- 17:13Speaker 5: made a political decision to deny these requests, and I
- 17:18Speaker 5: think the Biden administration has been suffused with partisan politics.
- 17:22Speaker 5: Did the same person who denied the request for additional
- 17:25Speaker 5: security to President Trump also repeatedly deny the request for
- 17:29Speaker 5: security to Robert F. Kennedy Junior, whose father was murdered
- 17:32Speaker 5: by an assassin and whose uncle was murdered by an assassin.
- 17:35Speaker 5: Did the same person make that decision?
- 17:37Speaker 3: Senator? What I will tell you is that Secret Service
- 17:40Speaker 3: agents are not political.
- 17:42Speaker 5: Okay, you're not answering my You know what, leadership by
- 17:45Speaker 5: the president, leadership appointed by the president is political. I
- 17:49Speaker 5: have a simple question, yes or no. Did the same
- 17:52Speaker 5: person deny the Trump requests that also denied the RFK request.
- 17:57Speaker 5: That's a yes or no question, Senator.
- 18:00Speaker 3: That is not a yes or no question. One. There
- 18:03Speaker 3: is a process for a candidate nominee to receive protection.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Is there a bi Cameron does the bike style Budy
- 18:10Speaker 3: artisan process that they.
- 18:12Speaker 5: Say by tameral bipartisan process. What can a candidate not
- 18:16Speaker 5: a congress We have a cameral Mister.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Kennedy submitted a request that was referred over to the
- 18:21Speaker 3: Sea Pack.
- 18:22Speaker 5: Okay, you're refusing to answer the question. Let me ask
- 18:24Speaker 5: because because the failures on that day were catastrophic. By
- 18:27Speaker 5: the way, is it true that on the day of
- 18:29Speaker 5: the of the Butler event, that Secret Service transferred agent
- 18:33Speaker 5: from President Trump to the First Lady H.
- 18:36Speaker 3: No, sir, that's not true.
- 18:37Speaker 5: That's been widely reported.
- 18:39Speaker 3: It's not true. There was one airport agent that actually
- 18:42Speaker 3: went on the MANPIW request for the Trump detail. They
- 18:44Speaker 3: handled the arrival at the airport.
- 18:46Speaker 5: What is the relative what was the relative size of
- 18:49Speaker 5: the Trump detail compared to the detail that is assigned
- 18:51Speaker 5: to the president of the First Lady? Uh?
- 18:54Speaker 3: Senator, the former president travels with a full shift just
- 18:58Speaker 3: like the president.
- 18:59Speaker 5: What's the so the the exact same size. Is that
- 19:01Speaker 5: your testimony that President Trump had the same size detail
- 19:04Speaker 5: that President Biden has.
- 19:05Speaker 3: On the day of Inballer the agent surrounding him. It
- 19:09Speaker 3: is the same number of agents surrounding the president today.
- 19:12Speaker 3: There is a difference between a sitting president who also
- 19:15Speaker 3: not only.
- 19:16Speaker 5: And you're using president in a way that is not clear.
- 19:18Speaker 5: Is it your testimony that in Butler, Pennsylvania, Donald Trump
- 19:23Speaker 5: had the same number of agents protecting him that Joe
- 19:26Speaker 5: Biden has at a comparable event.
- 19:29Speaker 3: I'm telling you the shift, the close protection shift surrounded Yes,
- 19:32Speaker 3: you asked me, Senator, I'm trying to answer it.
- 19:35Speaker 5: You are not answering it is it the same number
- 19:37Speaker 5: of agents or not?
- 19:39Speaker 3: Senator, there is a difference between the sitting president of
- 19:42Speaker 3: the United States.
- 19:42Speaker 5: And what's the difference the difference two x three x five?
- 19:46Speaker 3: National demand, authority to launch a nuclear strike? The assets?
- 19:50Speaker 5: How many more with the president?
- 19:53Speaker 3: That's our former president.
- 19:54Speaker 5: You're refusing to the number of Secret Service agent.
- 19:57Speaker 3: I'm interacting him.
- 19:58Speaker 5: Stop interrupting me. Go ahead, John refusing to answer clear
- 20:02Speaker 5: and direct questions. I am asking the relative difference in
- 20:06Speaker 5: the number of agents between those assigned to Donald Trump
- 20:10Speaker 5: and those assigned to Joe Biden. I'm not asking why
- 20:13Speaker 5: you assign more to Joe Biden. I'm asking is the difference?
- 20:16Speaker 2: Is it two x?
- 20:17Speaker 5: Is it three X? Is it five X? Is it
- 20:19Speaker 5: ten x?
- 20:20Speaker 3: Senator, I will get you that number so you can
- 20:22Speaker 3: see it with your own eyes.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Senator number one, let's start the end. He says, he
- 20:29Speaker 1: will get you those numbers. This is not a hard question.
- 20:32Speaker 1: You asked about the difference in the details, and yet
- 20:36Speaker 1: he clearly didn't want to answer that question. Is that
- 20:39Speaker 1: because we're going to be so shocked by what that
- 20:41Speaker 1: answer is?
- 20:43Speaker 5: So listening He engaged in a very deliberate effort at deception.
- 20:49Speaker 5: He said, the close protective detail is identical. Now understand
- 20:54Speaker 5: a Secret Service detail that is protecting someone. You have
- 20:59Speaker 5: the close protective detail, which are the agents that actually
- 21:02Speaker 5: surround the protect tea. You also have typically a perimeter
- 21:08Speaker 5: that is often at three levels, the close protection, a
- 21:12Speaker 5: second perimeter level that's often where you see magnetometers, that's
- 21:15Speaker 5: often when you see people examined, and then you have
- 21:18Speaker 5: the furthest out perimeter. What he did not want to
- 21:22Speaker 5: answer is how many agents we're protecting Donald Trump, how
- 21:29Speaker 5: many agents typically protect Joe Biden? And, by the way,
- 21:32Speaker 5: how many agents protect the first Lady Jill Biden. Now
- 21:35Speaker 5: I can tell you following up this cross examination, we
- 21:39Speaker 5: have what are called QFRS questions for the record, So
- 21:43Speaker 5: I am submitting written questions. I am asking the acting
- 21:48Speaker 5: Director of the Secret Service. Number one, how many agents
- 21:51Speaker 5: were assigned to Donald Trump? Number two? How many are
- 21:54Speaker 5: typically assigned to Joe Biden?
- 21:55Speaker 2: Number three?
- 21:56Speaker 5: How many are typically assigned the first Lady? Now, to
- 21:58Speaker 5: be clear, and this is where listen, there's some strategy
- 22:02Speaker 5: in terms of how you approach across examination like this
- 22:05Speaker 5: in public hearing. I did not ask him this in
- 22:08Speaker 5: a public hearing, why because he would refuse to answer.
- 22:11Speaker 5: He what he would say is, I'm not going to
- 22:14Speaker 5: disclose to you how many agents are assigned to Donald
- 22:17Speaker 5: Trump because that would endanger the security of the protective detail,
- 22:21Speaker 5: and that that's a reasonable response. It's why I didn't
- 22:24Speaker 5: ask the question, because there's there's something that is known
- 22:28Speaker 5: as law enforcement confidential. So when I ask him a
- 22:32Speaker 5: question for the record, listen, I have TSSCI clearance. I
- 22:36Speaker 5: have the top level of security clearance there exists in
- 22:39Speaker 5: the government. I want to know the exact number how
- 22:44Speaker 5: many friggin agents were assigned to Trump, how many were
- 22:47Speaker 5: assigned to the first Lady, how many were assigned to
- 22:49Speaker 5: the president. I'm not going to reveal those numbers, so
- 22:51Speaker 5: when I get them, I'm assuming he will tell me.
- 22:55Speaker 5: If he tells me, they're law enforcement confidential, I'm not
- 22:58Speaker 5: going to repeat them on this podcast. But what I
- 23:00Speaker 5: am going to repeat is what I asked him that
- 23:03Speaker 5: he refused to answer. What is the relative difference. I understand,
- 23:08Speaker 5: Joe Biden, the sitting president's detail is larger than Trump's,
- 23:13Speaker 5: but by what margin? Is it double? Is it triple?
- 23:18Speaker 5: Is it five? X Is it ten X? He did
- 23:21Speaker 5: not want to answer that question. The American people are
- 23:24Speaker 5: entitled to know that question.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Let's also go back to some other questions that were
- 23:30Speaker 1: asked of him, and I think these are important. One
- 23:33Speaker 1: of them came from one of your good friends and colleagues,
- 23:36Speaker 1: Mike Lee, A very simple question.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Take a listen.
- 23:40Speaker 3: No information regarding a weapon on the roof was ever
- 23:43Speaker 3: passed to our personnel. How is that even possible? Do
- 23:49Speaker 3: you want to comment to that Senator?
- 23:51Speaker 1: Again?
- 23:51Speaker 3: I believe that information and this is probably something my
- 23:55Speaker 3: colleague can expound on, information that was in law enforcement
- 24:01Speaker 3: local law enforcement channels but did not cross over and
- 24:04Speaker 3: make it to Secret Service awareness.
- 24:06Speaker 1: I mean, that might be one of the worst answers
- 24:08Speaker 1: I've ever heard Center and the fact that he's confirming
- 24:12Speaker 1: what we were terrified of, which is no information regarding
- 24:16Speaker 1: a weapon on the roof for the shooter on the
- 24:18Speaker 1: roof was ever passed to our personnel. Now, when he
- 24:22Speaker 1: refers to our personnel, he's clearly referring to those in
- 24:26Speaker 1: the Secret Service or the Secret Service sniper team. And
- 24:30Speaker 1: Mike Lee's response is spot on right, how is that
- 24:33Speaker 1: even possible?
- 24:35Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 24:35Speaker 5: Look, this was as I said, a catastrophic security failure
- 24:41Speaker 5: by the leadership of the Secret Service. They are not
- 24:44Speaker 5: taking responsibility for that failure. Now, I got to tell
- 24:47Speaker 5: you the way this hearing was set up, we had
- 24:50Speaker 5: five minute rounds. It is difficult to walk through the
- 24:53Speaker 5: details of what you need to get through in five minutes.
- 24:55Speaker 5: I ended up taking about seven, which then I went
- 24:58Speaker 5: about two minutes over and that always leary. But let
- 25:02Speaker 5: me tell you some of the other questions that I
- 25:03Speaker 5: had that I was prepared to ask, but because the
- 25:06Speaker 5: acting director of the Secret Service was filibustering to some extent,
- 25:10Speaker 5: he was interrupting me to some extent, he was belligerent
- 25:13Speaker 5: to a significant extent, I didn't get to them. But
- 25:16Speaker 5: there are a whole series of questions that need to
- 25:19Speaker 5: be answers. And by the way, I'm asking every one
- 25:22Speaker 5: of these questions in writing. So in a follow up
- 25:25Speaker 5: to hearing, you ask written questions Number one. The shooter
- 25:30Speaker 5: when he came into the rally site in Butler, Pennsylvania,
- 25:35Speaker 5: he was stopped by Secret Service at the metal detectors.
- 25:39Speaker 5: He had a rangefinder with him. That was at three pm.
- 25:44Speaker 5: Why did Secret Service not detain him? Why did they
- 25:48Speaker 5: not question him about the ragefinder. Now, the acting director
- 25:53Speaker 5: of the Secret Service, he said, well, it was a
- 25:55Speaker 5: recreational rangefinder. It was like a golf rangefinder that he
- 25:58Speaker 5: used to look the disc to the pin. Now you're
- 26:01Speaker 5: right now, you're with your son at the World Championship.
- 26:04Speaker 5: You probably have a golf rangefinder. Yes, you know what.
- 26:09Speaker 5: You know what in Butler, Pennsylvania, they weren't playing golf.
- 26:14Speaker 5: They weren't trying to figure out where the pin was.
- 26:17Speaker 5: There is no benign or innocious explanation for why someone
- 26:21Speaker 5: shows up at a political rally with a rangefinder. So
- 26:25Speaker 5: that's question number one. Why didn't you detain him? Why
- 26:28Speaker 5: didn't you question him? Why don't you say, why the
- 26:29Speaker 5: hell do you have this rangefinder? They didn't. After that,
- 26:33Speaker 5: Two and a half hours later, at about five point thirty,
- 26:37Speaker 5: the shooter was seen. And by the way, let me
- 26:39Speaker 5: make it a side you will notice on this podcast,
- 26:41Speaker 5: I will never ever ever say the name of the shooter.
- 26:45Speaker 5: I think people that commit heinous acts like this are
- 26:49Speaker 5: evil bastards who deserve to be forgotten by history. So
- 26:52Speaker 5: I will never I'll call him the shooter, but I
- 26:54Speaker 5: will not repeat his name. But the shooter at about
- 26:58Speaker 5: five thirty was observed using the rangefinder to measure the
- 27:03Speaker 5: distance from where he was to the podium where Donald
- 27:07Speaker 5: Trump was. The next obvious question, why did was the
- 27:14Speaker 5: shooter not detained? Then question? Then he was observed by
- 27:18Speaker 5: law enforcement scoping out the distance. That is obvious and
- 27:23Speaker 5: highly suspicious activity. Third question, why were there not more agents?
- 27:28Speaker 5: We had repeated requests over and over and over again
- 27:31Speaker 5: from the Trump team. We need more agents, We need
- 27:34Speaker 5: more agents. Why were there not more agents in the
- 27:35Speaker 5: outer perimeter? Why there were they not more agents? On
- 27:39Speaker 5: another question, why was there not a secret Service agent
- 27:43Speaker 5: on that rooftop? It is obvious it was about one
- 27:46Speaker 5: hundred and forty yards away from the president. That is
- 27:49Speaker 5: a clean line of sight for a sniper. That is
- 27:51Speaker 5: not a difficult shot. Why was there not a secret
- 27:54Speaker 5: Service agent on that roof to ensure that nobody else
- 27:58Speaker 5: was there? He did not answer that question either.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Why let me ask you this question.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Let me ask you this question on that because there's
- 28:05Speaker 1: a lot of people that ask me this, and I
- 28:06Speaker 1: want you to answer your perspective. If they didn't have
- 28:11Speaker 1: a team, right, There's been arguments when maybe they didn't
- 28:14Speaker 1: have a team to cover that roof, and so it
- 28:16Speaker 1: was lack of resources assign the agents. There are four
- 28:21Speaker 1: thousand Secret Service agents assign the agents.
- 28:25Speaker 5: So one of the fundamental problems is the Secret Service.
- 28:28Speaker 5: I believe. I haven't had this confirmed, but here's what
- 28:31Speaker 5: I believe was happening. They were treating Donald Trump as
- 28:34Speaker 5: a former president. Now, listen, former presidents have Secret Service
- 28:39Speaker 5: protection for life. So Jimmy Carter right now, who is
- 28:43Speaker 5: almost one hundred years old, Jimmy Carter has a Secret
- 28:47Speaker 5: Service detail now. To be honest, that's right, that's good.
- 28:52Speaker 5: But the threats against Jimmy Carter at this point in
- 28:55Speaker 5: his life are very low. There are just not a
- 28:58Speaker 5: lot of Trump. There are not a lot of active
- 29:02Speaker 5: murderers seeking to kill Jimmy Carter at the very end
- 29:05Speaker 5: of his natural life. We know, by the way, the
- 29:09Speaker 5: Nation of Iran has hired assassins to murder Trump. So
- 29:14Speaker 5: you don't just have crazy ass lunatics who want to
- 29:17Speaker 5: shoot him. You literally have a nation state with billions
- 29:21Speaker 5: of dollars to fund assassins to murder him. And what
- 29:24Speaker 5: I believe the Secret Service, here's what I think happened.
- 29:28Speaker 5: The Biden administration is political in every decision it makes.
- 29:32Speaker 5: I think they didn't want to up Trump's security detail
- 29:37Speaker 5: because if they did so, they would have to acknowledge
- 29:41Speaker 5: his legitimacy. Listen, Trump is not just a former president
- 29:45Speaker 5: who's retired and is off like painting paintings and building
- 29:49Speaker 5: houses for habitat for humanity. He is the Republican nominee
- 29:53Speaker 5: to be president right now. He is I think likely
- 29:56Speaker 5: the next president of the United States and the Biden administration,
- 30:01Speaker 5: I believe this was all politics. The leadership of the
- 30:05Speaker 5: Secret Service did not want to up his detail because
- 30:08Speaker 5: it would be according credibility and seriousness to his campaign.
- 30:13Speaker 5: It is, I believe, the identical reason they refused repeatedly
- 30:18Speaker 5: to give a Secret Service detailed Robert F. Kennedy Junior
- 30:22Speaker 5: now listen, you and I on this podcast months ago
- 30:26Speaker 5: called them out and said it is outrageous.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Robert F.
- 30:28Speaker 5: Kennedy Junior, his father RFK Senior was murdered when he
- 30:36Speaker 5: was running for president of the United States. His uncle
- 30:39Speaker 5: JFK was murdered as the sitting president of the United States.
- 30:45Speaker 5: RFK Junior has had multiple death threats. He has had
- 30:48Speaker 5: multiple attempts on his life and I believe the reason
- 30:52Speaker 5: that the Biden administration didn't give him a Secret Service
- 30:55Speaker 5: protection is they hate the fact that another Democrat is
- 30:58Speaker 5: running against what was the Joe Biden now Kamala Harris,
- 31:02Speaker 5: and if they gave Secret Services protection to him, it
- 31:04Speaker 5: would be acknowledging he was legitimate. That is, if that
- 31:08Speaker 5: is the basis, it is a purely political decision. It
- 31:12Speaker 5: is indefensible and we need to get answers on it.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Senata, I want to ask you another couple of quick
- 31:19Speaker 1: questions about this, because there's so much that came out
- 31:21Speaker 1: in this hearing. One of them you mentioned a moment
- 31:24Speaker 1: ago was about Iran, and I want to play this
- 31:28Speaker 1: because I do think it just shows how shocking how
- 31:33Speaker 1: unprepared the Secret Service was, not just at this event,
- 31:37Speaker 1: but maybe at many other events that were supposed to
- 31:39Speaker 1: be protecting Donald Trump.
- 31:41Speaker 3: What is the nature of the Iran threat? The threat
- 31:45Speaker 3: to former President Trump that has been mentioned, but we
- 31:50Speaker 3: know that. Let me be clear here.
- 31:52Speaker 4: The terrorist regime of Iran have been targeting people or
- 31:59Speaker 4: country for many, many years now. We've talked about that
- 32:02Speaker 4: here before. I want to be clear about that. From
- 32:04Speaker 4: the FBI stamp we have we know publicly, they've put
- 32:09Speaker 4: they've targeted former President Trump, they've called for his assassination.
- 32:15Speaker 1: I mean that they know this, and they say they've
- 32:17Speaker 1: been doing this for years, and yet you let this
- 32:19Speaker 1: building just sit unattended. And I go back to the
- 32:22Speaker 1: question I asked you earlier, because it's a question many
- 32:25Speaker 1: have asked, if let's just say hypothetical center, they didn't
- 32:28Speaker 1: have the manpower, hypothetical for the Secret Service, and I
- 32:31Speaker 1: have the manpower, get it, Why wouldn't they have used
- 32:34Speaker 1: those that were on the ground there locally, the SWAT
- 32:37Speaker 1: teams that were there locally to cover that.
- 32:39Speaker 5: Roof well, and to some extent, so the Secret Service
- 32:43Speaker 5: was trying to pass the blame to local law enforcement.
- 32:45Speaker 5: They were saying, well, local law enforcement screwed up. And
- 32:48Speaker 5: so they said at one point that there were local
- 32:51Speaker 5: SWAT teams that were supposed to be monitoring that roof,
- 32:54Speaker 5: and there's been testimony that there was a local SWAT
- 32:57Speaker 5: team there and then they disappeared. Now they won't tell
- 32:59Speaker 5: us who it was. They won't tell us who made
- 33:01Speaker 5: the decision to leave that post. There has been media
- 33:05Speaker 5: reports that there was someone assigned to be on that roof,
- 33:07Speaker 5: but it was too hot, so they left. We need
- 33:09Speaker 5: to know the answer to that that that is they're
- 33:12Speaker 5: they're not. But what's what the Secret Service is trying
- 33:15Speaker 5: to do is pass the buck to local law enforcement.
- 33:17Speaker 5: Say local law enforcement screwed up. But I'll tell you
- 33:19Speaker 5: a couple other questions that I was going to ask
- 33:22Speaker 5: and that I am asking and writing. So we know,
- 33:27Speaker 5: and we've seen the videos. In fact, we played this
- 33:29Speaker 5: on this podcast at the time. There were multiple spectators
- 33:34Speaker 5: who were outside the perimeter who saw the shooter on
- 33:37Speaker 5: the roof. They saw the shooter on the roof with
- 33:39Speaker 5: a gun, with a rifle, and they began screaming and
- 33:42Speaker 5: yelling and saying, there's a man on the roof, a
- 33:44Speaker 5: man on the roof of the gun. They began doing
- 33:47Speaker 5: that one minute and fifty seven seconds before the shooting began.
- 33:53Speaker 5: That's a lot of time. They told local law enforcement.
- 33:56Speaker 5: It was a sign in that outer perimeter there's a
- 33:59Speaker 5: man on the roof with the gun. Now, one of
- 34:02Speaker 5: the enormous problems is there was apparently zero coordination and
- 34:08Speaker 5: communication between local law enforcement and Secret Service. So a
- 34:14Speaker 5: natural question a minute in fifty seven seconds before the
- 34:16Speaker 5: shooting began spectators observe a man on the roof of
- 34:21Speaker 5: a gun. Why did the local police officers who were
- 34:25Speaker 5: there not immediately radio Secret Service and say, there's a shooter.
- 34:31Speaker 5: Pull President Trump down. That's what you do in that circumstance,
- 34:36Speaker 5: is you pull them down. If you have the protect
- 34:38Speaker 5: tee and you know that there's a potential sniper and
- 34:41Speaker 5: it's a dangerous situation, you go up, you pull them down,
- 34:44Speaker 5: say miss President, you need to come down for a second,
- 34:45Speaker 5: and you just pull them out of the harm's way
- 34:47Speaker 5: and then you go and deal with the law enforcement threat.
- 34:50Speaker 5: Why did they not do that for a minute in
- 34:51Speaker 5: fifty seven second And what appears to be the answer,
- 34:54Speaker 5: but the acting director would not answer it is there
- 34:57Speaker 5: was no interoperability. There was no communication between local law
- 35:02Speaker 5: enforcement and the Secret Service. Now, and it gets even worse,
- 35:06Speaker 5: a local police officer climbed up on the shoulders of
- 35:10Speaker 5: another local police officer climbed up to the roof. So
- 35:12Speaker 5: when the people are yelling, hey, there's a guy with
- 35:14Speaker 5: a gun, he climbed up to see it. He climbs
- 35:18Speaker 5: up to the roof. He pulls his head up and
- 35:21Speaker 5: the shooter turns and points his rifle at the officer's head.
- 35:26Speaker 5: Now the officer ducks because he doesn't want to get
- 35:29Speaker 5: shot in the head. And the testimony was he fell
- 35:32Speaker 5: about eight feet to the ground. That happened twenty four
- 35:37Speaker 5: seconds before the first shot was fired. Now, in any
- 35:44Speaker 5: ordinary insane situation, the officer as he sees the rifle,
- 35:47Speaker 5: as he sees the man on the roof, so he knows.
- 35:50Speaker 5: You have a police officer that knows there's a shooter
- 35:52Speaker 5: with a rifle on the roof while the president is talking.
- 35:56Speaker 5: Here's what should happen. The officer, as he's ducking down,
- 36:01Speaker 5: he pulls out his radio and he says gun gun
- 36:05Speaker 5: gun shooter, shooter, shooter. And if the Secret Service here
- 36:09Speaker 5: is that they have twenty four seconds for the detail
- 36:12Speaker 5: to run up to grab the president, to pull him
- 36:15Speaker 5: down under the podium. And by the way, they also
- 36:18Speaker 5: have two counter snipers. If they get over the radio,
- 36:21Speaker 5: gun gun gun shooter, shooter shooter, you've got twenty four
- 36:24Speaker 5: seconds for the counter snipers to see the sniper, see
- 36:27Speaker 5: the shooter, and take him out. If that happens, President
- 36:32Speaker 5: Trump is not shot fire Chief Corey Comparatory is not murdered.
- 36:39Speaker 5: The two other people who are severely injured or not injured.
- 36:43Speaker 5: And what appears to be the case, although the acting
- 36:46Speaker 5: director of the Secret Service would not confirm this, is
- 36:50Speaker 5: there was no radio interoperability. In other words, what the
- 36:54Speaker 5: local police officer saw, he could not communicate with Secret Service,
- 36:59Speaker 5: and that is utterly unacceptable and what is infuriating. There
- 37:05Speaker 5: was nothing in the hearing yesterday that suggested they've changed
- 37:09Speaker 5: what they've done. So if they're relying on local law
- 37:12Speaker 5: enforcement for important security and yet they have no way
- 37:15Speaker 5: to communicate with local law enforcement about what they're seeing,
- 37:20Speaker 5: it is fundamentally ineffective. And the most important question is
- 37:24Speaker 5: what are they doing to prevent this from happening again?
- 37:30Speaker 5: And there was zero answer to that question in the
- 37:33Speaker 5: hearing yesterday.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Final question on this And somebody sent this to me
- 37:39Speaker 1: earlier today, and I'm just going to read it the
- 37:40Speaker 1: way it was sent to me. It says, quote, it's
- 37:42Speaker 1: sad that we live in the country now. We're a
- 37:45Speaker 1: hard working, regular guy who goes to work from seven
- 37:50Speaker 1: in the morning till nine o'clock at night or eight
- 37:53Speaker 1: o'clock put in fifty sixty hour week, will quote face
- 37:57Speaker 1: more professional consequences for sharing in a defensive joke online.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Then the unelected.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Bureaucrats task with protecting our president will face for almost
- 38:08Speaker 1: getting the leading candidate killed. Now, according to the acting
- 38:12Speaker 1: Secret Service director, he admitted to you guys yesterday that
- 38:15Speaker 1: no agent assigned to the Trump July thirteenth rally has
- 38:21Speaker 1: been fired. And in fact there's only the secret that
- 38:24Speaker 1: the head of the Secret Service that was forced to
- 38:26Speaker 1: resign after a horrible display on Capitol Hill. But it
- 38:29Speaker 1: doesn't seem like there's been any other accountability. And that's sad,
- 38:33Speaker 1: isn't it.
- 38:34Speaker 5: It's infuriating. So, as best I can tell, in almost
- 38:38Speaker 5: four years of Joe Biden Kamala Harris being in the
- 38:41Speaker 5: White House, not a single person has been fired from
- 38:46Speaker 5: any job whatsoever. You have the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal. It
- 38:50Speaker 5: was an absolute debacle that was embarrassing. It undermined the
- 38:53Speaker 5: US military. It led to the deaths of thirteen servicemen
- 38:57Speaker 5: and women. Nobody was fired, there was no accountability. You
- 39:00Speaker 5: have here the first shooting of a presidential candidate a
- 39:08Speaker 5: former president since nineteen eighty one, since Ronald Reagan, nobody
- 39:13Speaker 5: was fired in any sane world. The director of the
- 39:15Speaker 5: Secret Service would have resigned that day. In any sane world,
- 39:19Speaker 5: the president would have fired the director of the Secret Service.
- 39:21Speaker 5: But there's no accountability. Now you now have the acting director.
- 39:25Speaker 5: And one question you asked me at the beginning of
- 39:27Speaker 5: this pot should the acting director be fired? And I'm
- 39:31Speaker 5: going to say, I don't know. I think the proof
- 39:34Speaker 5: is in the pudding. So on one level, the acting director,
- 39:40Speaker 5: whom I don't know personally, but he's been a longtime
- 39:44Speaker 5: career Secret Service agent and officer. His answers demonstrated massively
- 39:51Speaker 5: more candor than the old director. The old director was
- 39:56Speaker 5: handpicked by Joe Biden and Joe Biden I believe the
- 39:59Speaker 5: old director was there. She used to be on Joe
- 40:02Speaker 5: Biden's Secret Service detail when he was vice president. I
- 40:05Speaker 5: think they handpicked her because they wanted the Secret Service
- 40:08Speaker 5: to cover up Joe Biden's massive mental decline, and so
- 40:13Speaker 5: they put her in that place as a political decision
- 40:17Speaker 5: to protect his political vulnerabilities. That's what I believe. But
- 40:21Speaker 5: she was and we talked about this in a prior podcast.
- 40:24Speaker 5: When she did on All Senators briefing, she stonewalled she
- 40:28Speaker 5: would not answer any questions. She said they did everything
- 40:30Speaker 5: perfectly except for the fact that the president was shot,
- 40:33Speaker 5: and by the way, to be clear, had the bullet
- 40:37Speaker 5: been a half inch to the left, Donald Trump would
- 40:42Speaker 5: be dead today. She described this as a success for
- 40:46Speaker 5: the Secret Service. It's not a success. It is I
- 40:51Speaker 5: think God's providence. I believe God turned Trump's head. But
- 40:56Speaker 5: we came within a half inch of the history of
- 40:59Speaker 5: the world being changed that day. So compared to the
- 41:04Speaker 5: former director, the acting director is at least admitting they
- 41:09Speaker 5: screwed it up, they did something wrong. He has some
- 41:12Speaker 5: modicum of candor. Here's my answer in terms of whether
- 41:14Speaker 5: he should be fired. How does he answer the questions
- 41:19Speaker 5: for the record that I and other senators ask him.
- 41:22Speaker 5: I believe the Secret Service needs radical transparency. Among the
- 41:26Speaker 5: questions I'm asking also is how many threats are directed
- 41:29Speaker 5: right now in the last year against Donald Trump, how
- 41:32Speaker 5: many threats are directed against Joe Biden, how many threat
- 41:35Speaker 5: threats are directed against the first Lady? And had to
- 41:37Speaker 5: be clear, all three need to be protected. I'm not
- 41:39Speaker 5: saying that Joe or Joe Biden should not be protected.
- 41:43Speaker 5: But one of the public press reports is on the
- 41:46Speaker 5: day of the Butler rally, they pulled members of Trump's
- 41:49Speaker 5: security detail and put them on the First Lady's detail.
- 41:52Speaker 5: Now I don't know this, but Secret Service does. But
- 41:56Speaker 5: I'm going to venture a guess that the number of
- 41:59Speaker 5: threats against Trump versus against the First Lady it is
- 42:06Speaker 5: at least one hundred x. And it wouldn't surprise me
- 42:09Speaker 5: if it is a thousand x that I think Donald
- 42:13Speaker 5: Trump is the most threatened person on the face of
- 42:15Speaker 5: the planet. And if it is the case, it is
- 42:19Speaker 5: all the more indefensible that the Secret Service political leadership
- 42:23Speaker 5: would not provide sufficient agents to keep him safe. And
- 42:28Speaker 5: I'm asking them how many threats against Trump? How many
- 42:31Speaker 5: threats against Joe Biden? How many threats against Joe Biden.
- 42:34Speaker 5: Will see if they answer that, you know, based on
- 42:37Speaker 5: the testimony, I'm skeptical that they will.
- 42:40Speaker 2: Senator.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Finally, I want to move to some of this breaking news,
- 42:43Speaker 1: and it is an important moment that's happening in the
- 42:46Speaker 1: Middle East right now. Israel is doing everything they can
- 42:50Speaker 1: to protect their people, and they're also having success at
- 42:54Speaker 1: taking out terrorists and terrorist leaders that have been orchestrating
- 42:59Speaker 1: many of these attacks on Israel, including taking out someone
- 43:03Speaker 1: in Iran in Tehran.
- 43:06Speaker 5: Well that's exactly right. And there are two huge stories
- 43:10Speaker 5: in terms of the war in Israel, the war against
- 43:13Speaker 5: Amas and against Hesbela. One story that broke late this
- 43:20Speaker 5: afternoon and evening is a story that says IDF kills
- 43:24Speaker 5: HESBELA commander behind brutal attack on children's soccer field. And
- 43:30Speaker 5: this is a Fox News story that's being reported everywhere.
- 43:33Speaker 5: Fuad Shukar, whose death is unconfirmed by Hesbela, was wanted
- 43:39Speaker 5: by US government connection to the nineteen ninety nineteen eighty
- 43:42Speaker 5: three Marine Barracks bombing in Beirut, and IDF forces on
- 43:47Speaker 5: Tuesday announced the death of Fuad Shukar, the HESBELA commander
- 43:51Speaker 5: who was behind the drone strike that killed twelve children
- 43:54Speaker 5: and teens over the weekend. So over the weekend we
- 43:57Speaker 5: saw HESBELA fire rocket in northern Israel. It hit a
- 44:01Speaker 5: soccer field and twelve Israeli children were murdered. Continuing back
- 44:05Speaker 5: from the Fox News story, Shuker, who was also known
- 44:09Speaker 5: as haj Mohsen, joined Hesbel in nineteen eighty five. He
- 44:15Speaker 5: was also sought by the US government over his connection
- 44:19Speaker 5: to the nineteen eighty three suicide bombing of the marine
- 44:22Speaker 5: corpberracks in Beirut that killed two hundred and forty one
- 44:25Speaker 5: US service members. Schuker served as a senior advisor to
- 44:29Speaker 5: Hesbeli leader Hassan Noasrala at the time of his death
- 44:34Speaker 5: in an IDF strike on Tuesday in southern Bey Route.
- 44:38Speaker 5: The IDF confirmed the news in a press release announcing
- 44:41Speaker 5: that its fighter jets eliminated Hesbela terrorist organization's most senior
- 44:47Speaker 5: military commander, Shuker in Lebanon's capital city. Now understand, this
- 44:55Speaker 5: is a murderer responsible for murdering two hundred and forty
- 44:59Speaker 5: one on US service members. This is a reason to celebrate. Listen,
- 45:03Speaker 5: the enemies of Israel are the enemies of America, the
- 45:08Speaker 5: enemies of Jews. Those who want to kill Jews want
- 45:12Speaker 5: to kill Christians. Hamas and Hesbela. They hate Israel, but
- 45:17Speaker 5: they hate America too. And this is an example where
- 45:20Speaker 5: Israel fighting the war, fighting the war against Tamas and
- 45:23Speaker 5: Hesbela at the same time is defeating someone who has
- 45:27Speaker 5: murdered hundreds of Americans. That is an enormous victory for
- 45:32Speaker 5: this country. And then let me say secondly, so you
- 45:35Speaker 5: and I are recording this podcast, it is eleven forty pm.
- 45:40Speaker 5: At eleven forty pm, this news has just broken, so listen.
- 45:43Speaker 5: Any time you're dealing with matters of life and death
- 45:47Speaker 5: and war in peace, the news can move. So what
- 45:50Speaker 5: we're recording right now, it may be different by six
- 45:54Speaker 5: am tomorrow. But at eleven forty pm, let me read
- 45:57Speaker 5: the AP story. Iran says Hamas leader Ismail Haniya was
- 46:04Speaker 5: assassinated in Tehran, and let me just read the AP story.
- 46:08Speaker 5: Hamas leader Ismail Haniya was assassinated in Tehran, Iran's perimilitary
- 46:14Speaker 5: Revolutionary Guards said early Wednesday, no one immediately claimed responsibility
- 46:19Speaker 5: for the assassination, but suspicion immediately fell on Israel No Duh,
- 46:25Speaker 5: which is vowed to kill Haniya and other leaders of
- 46:29Speaker 5: Hamas over the group's October seventh attack on Israel that
- 46:32Speaker 5: killed one two hundred people and saw some two hundred
- 46:35Speaker 5: and fifty others taken hostage. Haniya was in Tehran to
- 46:40Speaker 5: attend Iran President Masud Pezeshkians swearing in on Tuesday. Iran
- 46:48Speaker 5: gave no details on how Haniya was killed, and the
- 46:51Speaker 5: Guard said the attack was under investigation. Analysts on Iranian
- 46:55Speaker 5: state television immediately began blaming Israel for the attack. Is
- 47:00Speaker 5: do not immediately comment, but it often doesn't when it
- 47:02Speaker 5: comes to assassinations carried out by their masade intelligence agency.
- 47:08Speaker 5: To come up within twenty four hours with number one
- 47:12Speaker 5: killing the top military commander of Hesbelah responsible for murdering
- 47:17Speaker 5: twelve Israeli children in northern Israel with a rocket attack
- 47:20Speaker 5: and also responsible for two hundred and forty one American
- 47:23Speaker 5: servicemen and women being killed in Beirut in nineteen eighty three.
- 47:29Speaker 5: That's a big damn deal. And then this taking out
- 47:33Speaker 5: the top leadership of AMAS. It's a big, big victory
- 47:38Speaker 5: for Israel and a big, big victory for America.
- 47:41Speaker 1: Make sure you share this podcast with your family and
- 47:43Speaker 1: your friends. Please share it on social media wherever you are,
- 47:47Speaker 1: and I'll see you back here tomorrow
