- 1:59Speaker 4: You think.
- 2:01Speaker 7: I sure will? Good morning everybody. You are listening to
- 2:05Speaker 7: the voice, Come on dig me now one and only.
- 2:08Speaker 7: Huh Steve Harvey got a radio show?
- 2:11Speaker 4: Here you do.
- 2:11Speaker 7: Steve Harvey got a radio show. But like I said
- 2:13Speaker 7: the other day, you got something too, though, don't you.
- 2:16Speaker 7: God done done something wonderful for you. You just got
- 2:19Speaker 7: to thank Him for it, you know, in the midst
- 2:22Speaker 7: of all that's going on in my life and in
- 2:24Speaker 7: your life. You know, I always use myself as an
- 2:27Speaker 7: example because well, I mean that way. I guarantee you
- 2:31Speaker 7: one hundred percent I know what I'm talking about here.
- 2:35Speaker 7: Here's a situation, you know, with everything that's going on
- 2:38Speaker 7: in my life and all the things I'm asking God
- 2:41Speaker 7: for in the midst of taxing and a very trying
- 2:48Speaker 7: situation that's very challenging for me right now. Man, God
- 2:52Speaker 7: just keeps on, keeps on surprising me. He keeps doing things.
- 2:58Speaker 7: And I want you to look at your life. Or
- 3:00Speaker 7: for a second, let's make two columns here. Let's make
- 3:06Speaker 7: a column of all the things you want from God.
- 3:09Speaker 7: You know, just do that throughout the course of the day.
- 3:12Speaker 7: You know, you know, run down the list of all
- 3:14Speaker 7: the things you're asking God for, all the things you're
- 3:16Speaker 7: praying for, the things you aspire to, what your dreams,
- 3:21Speaker 7: your visions, whatever it is. Just make a column a
- 3:23Speaker 7: list of all those things. Let's make three lists. And
- 3:28Speaker 7: then the second list, I want you to make a
- 3:31Speaker 7: list of everything that you've been asking God for. So
- 3:36Speaker 7: I guess that could be a little bit of the same.
- 3:39Speaker 7: But this third list, I want you to do a
- 3:41Speaker 7: check off point. I want you to do a make
- 3:43Speaker 7: a list of everything that God has given you that
- 3:47Speaker 7: you've asked him for. Just think about it like that
- 3:50Speaker 7: for a second. I may be explaining a little wrong
- 3:53Speaker 7: right now, but I'm gonna pull it together for you.
- 3:56Speaker 7: Make a list of everything you're asking God for. It
- 4:00Speaker 7: just listed.
- 4:00Speaker 6: You know.
- 4:00Speaker 7: It's okay, it's a dream board, you can call it that.
- 4:03Speaker 8: I got one.
- 4:04Speaker 7: It's a vision board. You know, everybody's got something you
- 4:06Speaker 7: hope for. Make a list. Now. I want you to
- 4:10Speaker 7: make another list of everything you've asked God for that
- 4:15Speaker 7: he's given you already. See this is a good list
- 4:19Speaker 7: because sometimes and what I've been guilty of and maybe
- 4:23Speaker 7: you two in my request list on my dream board.
- 4:28Speaker 7: I keep focusing so hard sometimes on the what I'm
- 4:33Speaker 7: yet to receive. I keep focusing so hard on the
- 4:37Speaker 7: what I hope he gives me. I keep focusing so
- 4:41Speaker 7: hard on the things that I yet not fulfilled in
- 4:44Speaker 7: my life that sometimes as he starts checking off my
- 4:49Speaker 7: wish lists, the things I've asked for in the past
- 4:53Speaker 7: that have come to pass that he's given me, I sometimes,
- 4:57Speaker 7: in praying for what I want forget to thank him
- 5:02Speaker 7: for what he's done for me. And I'm currently in
- 5:05Speaker 7: the middle of that situation.
- 5:06Speaker 4: And this morning when I.
- 5:07Speaker 7: Woke up, I really, man, I just got on my
- 5:09Speaker 7: knees this morning and I quit tripping for a second.
- 5:12Speaker 7: I said, Man, hey, God, you know what I really
- 5:15Speaker 7: do need all them things I'm asking for, and I'm
- 5:18Speaker 7: really am believing that You're gonna give it to me.
- 5:21Speaker 7: But in the meantime, though, Man, have I overlooked some
- 5:25Speaker 7: important details here? I had to really look at what
- 5:29Speaker 7: he's done for me. I mean, look, man, take yourself
- 5:32Speaker 7: out of it personally and look, well, you can leave
- 5:34Speaker 7: yourself in it however you want to be. Some people
- 5:36Speaker 7: can't do that, So just leave yourself in it.
- 5:38Speaker 6: Then.
- 5:39Speaker 7: But man, I started looking at the eyepart of me,
- 5:42Speaker 7: and I started looking around at what's happening overall. Like, man,
- 5:46Speaker 7: he has kept my family together and in spite of
- 5:50Speaker 7: the attempts to tear it apart. I look at all
- 5:52Speaker 7: of that. I look at how he's blessing my children
- 5:55Speaker 7: with the desires of their heart, which I pray for
- 5:57Speaker 7: my kids. You know, I want my kids to have
- 6:00Speaker 7: a better life than I've had.
- 6:01Speaker 4: I really really do.
- 6:02Speaker 7: I don't want them to take as long as it
- 6:05Speaker 7: took me to get it together. I really really don't.
- 6:07Speaker 7: I'm trying to say, hey, man, if you go to college,
- 6:10Speaker 7: this is what you can be. Don't do like your
- 6:12Speaker 7: father did. Don't go three years drop I'll throw yourself
- 6:14Speaker 7: into a spiral. And then got to start to scratch
- 6:17Speaker 7: all over again, you know, And for the most part
- 6:20Speaker 7: so far, you know, they're doing quite well of it,
- 6:24Speaker 7: you know, you know, they getting kicked around a little bit,
- 6:26Speaker 7: but that's life. I started thinking of the blessings that
- 6:29Speaker 7: he's helped me overcome with some of the previous mistakes
- 6:34Speaker 7: I've made in relationships in my life. And then I
- 6:38Speaker 7: started looking about the things he's blessed me with that
- 6:41Speaker 7: I've been asking him for. But since I've moved on
- 6:43Speaker 7: from it, I forgot to keep thinking because I got
- 6:47Speaker 7: to always thank God for a roof over my head
- 6:49Speaker 7: because guess what, when I was asking for the roof
- 6:52Speaker 7: and I didn't really have it, then he gave me one.
- 6:54Speaker 7: Since he gave it to me, what, I'm just cool
- 6:56Speaker 7: now I can't ever go back to him and go, hey, man,
- 6:59Speaker 7: I really you appreciate this roof over my head because
- 7:02Speaker 7: that was a time when I was living in a car.
- 7:04Speaker 7: But see, so every morning I wake up, I gotta
- 7:06Speaker 7: remember the fact that I have a home now, because
- 7:09Speaker 7: I got to look back and go, man, that was time, Steve,
- 7:12Speaker 7: when you didn't.
- 7:13Speaker 8: Have no home.
- 7:14Speaker 7: But see, we forget what God has done for us
- 7:17Speaker 7: because in our column, the won't column, the need column,
- 7:22Speaker 7: we oftentimes forget for the columns and the check marks
- 7:26Speaker 7: that He's already fulfilled in our life. You've got to
- 7:30Speaker 7: take inventory every now and then daily if possible. But
- 7:35Speaker 7: I know we humans, we're not gonna do that. I don't.
- 7:38Speaker 7: But you've got to take inventory of your life to say, hey,
- 7:43Speaker 7: what has God done for me?
- 7:45Speaker 4: You know?
- 7:46Speaker 7: And remember something else too. Change is good, but change
- 7:50Speaker 7: is challenging. Accept the challenge that it is. Look, a
- 7:55Speaker 7: lot of you come up to me all the time
- 7:57Speaker 7: and say, Steve Man, thank you, man boy, you in
- 8:01Speaker 7: the morning. Man, I really be needing that. Well, like
- 8:03Speaker 7: honest said it a hundred times, but I'm gonna say
- 8:05Speaker 7: it again, y'all, I be needing it too. You know,
- 8:09Speaker 7: you understand, sometimes what God is dealing with me is
- 8:14Speaker 7: for me. But now I'm in a sharing position where
- 8:17Speaker 7: I can open up and if I just if I
- 8:20Speaker 7: just quit being so about me and become a little
- 8:23Speaker 7: bit more transparent, I can maybe some of me that's
- 8:26Speaker 7: happening to me is happening to you and you could
- 8:29Speaker 7: see some of this in me. That's why I use
- 8:31Speaker 7: myself as an example, because man, I'm catching it too, y'all.
- 8:35Speaker 7: I ain't perfect either. So for those of you that
- 8:38Speaker 7: come up to me, and say that I want you
- 8:39Speaker 7: to understand these these talks in the morning. Man, this
- 8:43Speaker 7: is important for me because man, I need these conversations
- 8:48Speaker 7: from God. I need God to continue to strengthen me,
- 8:51Speaker 7: to show me the way, to help me understand what's
- 8:55Speaker 7: happening to me. And see, as we've all those of
- 8:58Speaker 7: you who have made the decision to change, to become
- 9:01Speaker 7: a better person, a better woman, a better boy, better girl,
- 9:04Speaker 7: a better man. For those of you who's made the
- 9:06Speaker 7: decision to change, change is a challenge, and accept the
- 9:09Speaker 7: challenge because it's gonna come. Because right out of that,
- 9:12Speaker 7: here come to haters. Here they come people you don't
- 9:15Speaker 7: even know, discussing your life and your change. If God
- 9:19Speaker 7: see you really really mean what you say in spite
- 9:22Speaker 7: of what they say about you, God will raise you
- 9:26Speaker 7: above the freight. He'll keep promoting you. He'll keep blessing you.
- 9:30Speaker 7: He'll keep moving you up.
- 9:32Speaker 4: He will use you as a.
- 9:34Speaker 7: Show off point. He'll show you off man. He'll make
- 9:38Speaker 7: He'll make you look good to people man who wish
- 9:41Speaker 7: you'd fall all day long, and so to all your haters,
- 9:44Speaker 7: all your haters will end up just watching you rise. Man,
- 9:47Speaker 7: They will watch you continue to grow. That's what God
- 9:50Speaker 7: will do for you.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Man.
- 9:51Speaker 7: You can fool the world, but you can't fool God.
- 9:54Speaker 7: God know your heart, He know your every thought.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Man, listening.
- 10:00Speaker 4: Show, Wake up, wake up, wake up, rising shine y'alling
- 10:04Speaker 4: yourself that stretch that morning your own and sit on
- 10:07Speaker 4: the edge of the bed, Thank the Man. And then

- 12:20Speaker 1: it is my first birthday as a married man.

- 12:41Speaker 4: to the now?

- 13:13Speaker 4: What we doing? Are we supposed to have that happen
- 13:15Speaker 4: on our birthday? Timmy?
- 13:16Speaker 6: Is that what?

- 13:20Speaker 6: Boy?
- 13:21Speaker 4: You better be looking forward to this. This might not
- 13:24Speaker 4: happen for another three weeks. What did you talk about?
- 13:28Speaker 8: Might be a month better? You better take advantage of time.
- 13:32Speaker 10: Night.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, we're celebrating Junior all day. It's his
- 13:36Speaker 1: birthday coming up. At thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:40Speaker 1: we'll run that prank back with a nephew right after this.
- 13:44Speaker 1: You're listening Morning show, all right, it is time now
- 13:48Speaker 1: for the nephew to run that prank back. What you
- 13:50Speaker 1: got for us? Nept.
- 13:51Speaker 4: I know you like it. It's a butt, man, it's
- 13:54Speaker 4: your butt up on that printer and hit that button.
- 13:56Speaker 4: We're gonna copy it. This is right here is but man,
- 14:01Speaker 4: let's go catch up.
- 14:03Speaker 6: Hello.
- 14:04Speaker 4: Hey, I'm trying to read VON Please this VN.
- 14:08Speaker 8: This is Darius. Darius with human Resources.
- 14:11Speaker 4: How are you?
- 14:12Speaker 6: I'm doing fine?
- 14:13Speaker 10: Can I help you?
- 14:14Speaker 4: Yeah? Listen, we have an incident that has taken place
- 14:18Speaker 4: at the job you actually, what floor are you on?
- 14:22Speaker 10: VN?
- 14:23Speaker 6: I'm all for twelve?
- 14:25Speaker 4: All right?
- 14:26Speaker 8: So do you use the copy machine that often on
- 14:29Speaker 8: that floor?
- 14:30Speaker 6: Not all the time, but I do use it every
- 14:32Speaker 6: once in a while.
- 14:33Speaker 4: Okay, every once in a while. So here's what's going on.
- 14:37Speaker 4: There's gonna be some actions being taken place here pretty soon,
- 14:41Speaker 4: some legal actions, and we're just clearing everybody. You know,
- 14:44Speaker 4: this is just a proper procedure that we're having to
- 14:47Speaker 4: go through. So let me just kind of enlighten you
- 14:50Speaker 4: on what's taking place. Someone on the twelfth floor has
- 14:55Speaker 4: copied there butt on a piece of paper in the
- 14:58Speaker 4: copy machine. So someone, I actually said, up on the
- 15:00Speaker 4: xerox machine and copy their butt.
- 15:03Speaker 8: Why someone would do that? I have no earthly idea.
- 15:06Speaker 4: But what's happening now is everyone on your floor is
- 15:10Speaker 4: gonna have to come in and show their butt. So
- 15:14Speaker 4: we're scheduling this now. I'm thinking Friday at eleven a m.
- 15:18Speaker 4: Would that be so.
- 15:21Speaker 6: Y'all talking, y'all talking about your woman to come up
- 15:24Speaker 6: there and show show my, show my, because somebody.
- 15:29Speaker 10: I'm a grown man.
- 15:31Speaker 6: Okay, I'm a grown man.
- 15:33Speaker 1: I ain't do that.
- 15:34Speaker 4: Okay, you know what. I believe you. I believe you wholeheartedly, Von,
- 15:38Speaker 4: But just to clear your name, we have to, I
- 15:40Speaker 4: hate to say it, clear your butt as well. So
- 15:43Speaker 4: we want to make sure we're gonna find out whose butt.
- 15:46Speaker 8: This is on a piece of paper, that did this.
- 15:47Speaker 8: We're gonna find out.
- 15:48Speaker 6: You're gonna find you're gonna find out who's You're gonna
- 15:50Speaker 6: find out whose cheek those are, and you're gonna find
- 15:52Speaker 6: out real quickly. In our mind. All right, I'm not
- 15:54Speaker 6: doing that, man, I'm not gonna come in. You said Friday.
- 15:58Speaker 4: You're doing this on Friday, Friday of eleven, not.
- 16:01Speaker 6: Coming that my day off. I'm pulling my pasts down.
- 16:03Speaker 6: But some strangers looking really look at my look at
- 16:08Speaker 6: my cheeks, talking about somebody copied.
- 16:11Speaker 10: I'm not doing that.
- 16:12Speaker 4: I don't I don't want to. I don't want this
- 16:14Speaker 4: to take a turn, Von, because right now this is
- 16:17Speaker 4: if you're not if you're saying you're not coming in,
- 16:20Speaker 4: then other actions will be taking place if you don't
- 16:23Speaker 4: come in and follow the precedure that everybody's saying.
- 16:26Speaker 8: Everybody else that I'm calling they have to come in.
- 16:29Speaker 6: How many how many people work on that floor?
- 16:31Speaker 4: There's at least eighty plus people on that floor.
- 16:35Speaker 6: You're talking about trying to have eighty plus people come
- 16:38Speaker 6: in drive all win work. So some strangers and we
- 16:42Speaker 6: don't even know can look at our look at our cheeks,
- 16:45Speaker 6: and I'm not going to do that. I don't know
- 16:47Speaker 6: who did it, but I know they ain't me.
- 16:49Speaker 4: Well, somebody, somebody's xeroxs their butt on the twelfth floor,
- 16:55Speaker 4: and we're going to get to okay, but we're gonna
- 16:57Speaker 4: get to the bottom of who did it. And what
- 17:00Speaker 4: you're not gonna do, Von, is tell me you're not
- 17:02Speaker 4: coming in. What you're not gonna do do you like
- 17:05Speaker 4: your job here with this company?
- 17:07Speaker 8: Oh?
- 17:07Speaker 3: Okay.
- 17:08Speaker 6: What you're not gonna do is act like you're gonna
- 17:10Speaker 6: fire me, because I'm not gonna show y'all my sweet
- 17:12Speaker 6: goodies just because you just because you're from HR you
- 17:16Speaker 6: got me food. If you actually expect me to think
- 17:18Speaker 6: that everybody that works from this floor is over here, like,
- 17:22Speaker 6: oh yeah, sure, I'm throwing some strangers. Look at mine,
- 17:25Speaker 6: Look at my crack.
- 17:26Speaker 7: You must be.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Playing, no, sir, not with me.
- 17:29Speaker 8: Okay, let me ask let me, let me ask you this.
- 17:33Speaker 8: Do you have a coworker named Andre?
- 17:35Speaker 3: Andre?
- 17:35Speaker 4: Yes, and Andre says he knows you. Now, I'm just
- 17:40Speaker 4: gonna put it out here. Andre is stating that it
- 17:43Speaker 4: could have possibly been you.
- 17:45Speaker 6: Really, Andre got the nerve to say it could have
- 17:47Speaker 6: been me? Andre? Why don't he trying to single me out?
- 17:52Speaker 6: Like I even use that damn copier not around there
- 17:55Speaker 6: playing games.
- 17:56Speaker 3: I'm a grown man.
- 17:57Speaker 6: He must be out of his mind thinking he gonna

- 45:37Speaker 8: Let me say that first and foremost.
- 45:38Speaker 10: Okay, cool, thank you. You know, we just want everybody
- 45:41Speaker 10: to be safe and healthy.
- 45:43Speaker 1: And your name again, the brother Liney Thompson.
- 45:46Speaker 10: Okay, and and and the other times I'm tining about

- 45:53Speaker 4: man uh pass, I want to ask you this. I know,
- 45:57Speaker 4: you know a lot of people are going through different
- 45:58Speaker 4: things and and and people are you know, trying to
- 46:02Speaker 4: make sure they keep food and stuff in the house
- 46:04Speaker 4: because of you know, time like this. You know you
- 46:05Speaker 4: kind of want to stay put, and but you want
- 46:08Speaker 4: to make sure you got enough food and water and
- 46:10Speaker 4: things like that. So but but but what I wanted
- 46:12Speaker 4: my reason for calling you is I wanted to ask you,
- 46:15Speaker 4: how how much money.
- 46:17Speaker 8: Do we have in the account?
- 46:21Speaker 3: Come again, the church account?

- 46:29Speaker 8: My name is Brotherlanel Thompson.
- 46:31Speaker 10: Okay, Brother Thompson. How did you get my personal cell
- 46:34Speaker 10: phone number to be calling me at home the time
- 46:36Speaker 10: of day?
- 46:36Speaker 4: Well? I got this number from one of the brothers
- 46:38Speaker 4: at the church. What what?
- 46:40Speaker 6: Brother?
- 46:40Speaker 10: The church is they know not to give my personal
- 46:42Speaker 10: number offs to to people I don't know?
- 46:45Speaker 7: Are you?
- 46:45Speaker 4: Well, I'm a I'm a but I'm a but I'm
- 46:47Speaker 4: a member though I'm a member?
- 46:49Speaker 10: Well, how long you been a member? Because I've been
- 46:51Speaker 10: pasting this church for ten years and your name ain't
- 46:54Speaker 10: familiar to me. How long? How long you been a member.
- 46:56Speaker 7: Of my church?
- 46:57Speaker 4: I've been a member of probably going on going on
- 47:01Speaker 4: three years now, but I ain't I ain't been since,
- 47:04Speaker 4: you know, since that day I joined.
- 47:06Speaker 8: You know, you know, I kind of got caught out there,
- 47:08Speaker 8: you know how it go.
- 47:09Speaker 10: But uh yeah, wait wait wait wait wait wait, So
- 47:12Speaker 10: you you've been a member of my church two or
- 47:14Speaker 10: three years? You ain't been to the church in two
- 47:16Speaker 10: to three years? Are you calling me to ask me
- 47:18Speaker 10: about finances of my church. Well, I'm gonna say what
- 47:22Speaker 10: you're looking for?
- 47:23Speaker 4: Well, I am a member, so I mean I do
- 47:25Speaker 4: have to don't I have the right to know what
- 47:27Speaker 4: we got in there, what we got in the account.
- 47:29Speaker 10: Actually, you don't. You don't have to write to that question.
- 47:32Speaker 10: If you don't actively come to the church. You can't
- 47:34Speaker 10: come to the church, sign up the church, and then
- 47:37Speaker 10: call me three years later asking me what we got
- 47:40Speaker 10: going on at church. So I need to understand what
- 47:42Speaker 10: is your purpose?
- 47:44Speaker 4: Well, like I say, everybody going through hard times, I'm
- 47:47Speaker 4: trying to see what we got in there, because you know,
- 47:50Speaker 4: I need to pick up a few things from the stove.
- 47:52Speaker 8: I don't have the money right now, But shouldn't I
- 47:55Speaker 8: be able to lean.
- 47:56Speaker 4: On my church? Though?
- 47:58Speaker 10: You can lean on that. We've done a lot of
- 48:00Speaker 10: stuff in the community. We've been seeing the elderly, we
- 48:02Speaker 10: got a full bank. We've been cash after people some
- 48:05Speaker 10: money that when we can. But you ain't been at
- 48:08Speaker 10: this church in three years. You can't call me after
- 48:10Speaker 10: three years and think I'm about to give you some
- 48:12Speaker 10: money for someone I don't even know if you're a
- 48:14Speaker 10: real member.
- 48:15Speaker 4: I am a real man. I'm a real member. So
- 48:17Speaker 4: hold on, hold hold on, hold on, pastor, hold on, no, no, no, hold.
- 48:21Speaker 10: On, no, no, no, you hold on what boy? Look here,
- 48:24Speaker 10: I'm trying to sit down have dinner with my family.
- 48:27Speaker 10: You sitting here on my last night. Look here, brother Thompson,
- 48:30Speaker 10: I don't know you. I ain't never heard of you.
- 48:33Speaker 10: You am not about to call here and try to
- 48:35Speaker 10: get some money out of me. You ain't even a
- 48:37Speaker 10: member of the church. I am a member of the
- 48:40Speaker 10: church because you come to the church one time, you
- 48:43Speaker 10: ain't been back in three years, and you come to
- 48:45Speaker 10: me for some money. I am a member gave your mama.
- 48:48Speaker 10: You are not a member of this church, sir.
- 48:51Speaker 4: I am a member of the church. Look look, look,
- 48:54Speaker 4: let me tell you something. I know.
- 48:55Speaker 10: This ain't no time them tell you where. You can't
- 48:59Speaker 10: call my church two or three years ago and called
- 49:02Speaker 10: me three years later, get my number from somebody and
- 49:05Speaker 10: ask me for money because you're going through hard time. Now,
- 49:07Speaker 10: if you was a true member of the church, you'll
- 49:09Speaker 10: understand how we work and how we give money to
- 49:11Speaker 10: people that's struggling. I just delivered forty meals today to
- 49:15Speaker 10: our elderly huh. Last week we cashed out people money
- 49:19Speaker 10: to go pick up grocery comparis.
- 49:22Speaker 4: Do you need my cash out? Then? Do you need
- 49:25Speaker 4: my cash?
- 49:25Speaker 3: Boy?
- 49:26Speaker 10: Boy, you gonna make me because you ain't even tithing?
- 49:29Speaker 10: So how you not tithing?
- 49:31Speaker 6: And things? You?
- 49:31Speaker 4: I told you out here fell on bad times, didn't
- 49:34Speaker 4: I say I fell on bad times?
- 49:36Speaker 10: You fell on bad times for three years?
- 49:39Speaker 4: Hey, hey, you know it takes longer for some people. Okay, fact,
- 49:42Speaker 4: why are you? Why are you judging me in opposing
- 49:45Speaker 4: trying to figure out how the cash at me so.
- 49:47Speaker 10: I can get on a member of my church. I
- 49:49Speaker 10: don't know if you some scam artist trying to get
- 49:52Speaker 10: money from the church. Sir, I have never met you.
- 49:54Speaker 3: I don't know you.
- 49:55Speaker 10: Matter of fact, I'm about to call up the deacons
- 49:58Speaker 10: to see who you are and why they were my
- 50:00Speaker 10: number to some point to call me and ask me
- 50:02Speaker 10: for some money.
- 50:03Speaker 8: Hey, let me say this to you.

- 54:09Speaker 1: It is the straw Bury letta thank you nephew. Subjects
- 54:13Speaker 1: so why does he have videos of our neighbor? Why
- 54:17Speaker 1: does he have videos of our neighbor? As a subject,
- 54:20Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been married seventeen years and we
- 54:23Speaker 1: have a sixteen year old daughter. My husband and I
- 54:26Speaker 1: get along and We are the best of friends, but
- 54:29Speaker 1: romantically we're lacking. We're intimate when necessary, and it's rare
- 54:34Speaker 1: that he bothers me for sex. I'm not a stupid woman,
- 54:37Speaker 1: and I know he has needs as a man, so
- 54:41Speaker 1: I hope he's not going elsewhere for satisfaction, especially since
- 54:45Speaker 1: he started to travel for work. Because he's gone a lot.
- 54:49Speaker 1: He put cameras on our house to make sure my
- 54:51Speaker 1: daughter and I are safe when he's gone. The cameras
- 54:54Speaker 1: have become visible to us now and strictly for my
- 54:58Speaker 1: husband's peace of mind. I was home for a week
- 55:01Speaker 1: with the stomach virus and the cameras kept dinging because
- 55:04Speaker 1: someone was in our front yard. It was my neighbor,
- 55:08Speaker 1: and when I went to the door, she apologized for trespassing,
- 55:11Speaker 1: and she said she didn't know I was home. I
- 55:14Speaker 1: told her I wasn't feeling well and I saw her
- 55:17Speaker 1: taking my hydranges. It was an awkward situation and all
- 55:21Speaker 1: she had to do was ask, and I would have
- 55:22Speaker 1: let her have some flowers. Fast forward to two weeks later,
- 55:26Speaker 1: I was watching TV with my husband and he sent
- 55:29Speaker 1: me two videos from the cameras outside of our house.
- 55:32Speaker 1: They were videos of the neighbor picking hydrangels again, but
- 55:36Speaker 1: this time she was She was in all spandex and
- 55:41Speaker 1: she was barefoot. I could tell he sent the videos
- 55:44Speaker 1: to me by mistake because he didn't know how to
- 55:46Speaker 1: play it off. When I confronted him, he swore that
- 55:49Speaker 1: he was trying to show me how our neighbor steals
- 55:51Speaker 1: my precious flowers when we're not home. I told him
- 55:54Speaker 1: that he's a bad liar, and he got mad at
- 55:57Speaker 1: me for laughing in his face for getting caught. Why
- 56:00Speaker 1: did he have the videos of the lady next door
- 56:02Speaker 1: on his phone? Is he secretly into her? Should I
- 56:05Speaker 1: be worried? Well, I mean, your husband might be in
- 56:08Speaker 1: big trouble with you right now, I get that, But
- 56:12Speaker 1: your neighbor is the one who really needs to get it.
- 56:14Speaker 1: Why is she your neighbor is still stealing after you
- 56:18Speaker 1: caught her red handed and asked her not to. And
- 56:22Speaker 1: who steals in spandex and no shoes anyway? I mean,
- 56:25Speaker 1: didn't you say you told her that you would have
- 56:28Speaker 1: let her have some flowers so she wouldn't have to
- 56:31Speaker 1: take them. But she's being disrespectful right in your face.
- 56:35Speaker 1: That is a red flag. Now as to whether your
- 56:38Speaker 1: husband is interested in her, and is he, you know,
- 56:42Speaker 1: doing other women while he's on the trip and all
- 56:44Speaker 1: of that. He could be interested in her, I mean,
- 56:47Speaker 1: especially with her wearing spandex and all of that. You know,
- 56:50Speaker 1: But I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt,
- 56:52Speaker 1: and this one, I'm going to give him a pass
- 56:55Speaker 1: because I blame the neighbor way more than him. She's
- 56:58Speaker 1: the one parading around in spandex, stealing your flowers and
- 57:02Speaker 1: tight clothes and all of this, trying to steal your
- 57:05Speaker 1: man too. Probably because she was startled she said, oops,
- 57:08Speaker 1: I didn't know you were home. So that's probably what
- 57:11Speaker 1: she's been doing all along, trying to get your man's attention.
- 57:15Speaker 1: So you need to check her. Of course you need
- 57:18Speaker 1: to check your husband, but you definitely need to check
- 57:20Speaker 1: this neighbor.
- 57:21Speaker 4: Tommy, ladies, when y'all find out something, y'all immediately say something.
- 57:27Speaker 4: Y'all immediately. Y'all never really just wait and see. Y'all
- 57:32Speaker 4: never hold it and say we're gonna, I'm gonna, i'ma
- 57:34Speaker 4: I'm gonna let this ride out. We're gonna figure out
- 57:36Speaker 4: exactly what the heck is going on right here. Y'all
- 57:39Speaker 4: never ride it out. Just wait.
- 57:41Speaker 8: If you wait, it's going to expose itself.
- 57:45Speaker 4: But you don't.
- 57:45Speaker 6: You won't.
- 57:46Speaker 4: You won't wait.
- 57:46Speaker 8: Now you immediately showing the videos and phone right there.
- 57:49Speaker 4: So let's go back. We got problems with sex. Okay,
- 57:52Speaker 4: that's the issue. When you say something like, uh, what
- 57:55Speaker 4: did you say we intimate when necessary?
- 57:58Speaker 8: What does that mean?
- 57:59Speaker 4: Which is what kind of what kind of marriages that
- 58:02Speaker 4: we intimate when that's sary? So so it's not happening. Now,
- 58:06Speaker 4: we got these trips going on. Okay, we got these trips.
- 58:10Speaker 4: You wonder what's going on? He to put these cameras
- 58:11Speaker 4: in because he claiming he wanted to make sure y'all
- 58:13Speaker 4: safe or whatever. I don't think he taking no trips.
- 58:16Speaker 4: I think he going next door, That's what I think.
- 58:19Speaker 4: And I think he got the cameras to make sure
- 58:20Speaker 4: he know where the hell y'all at. That's what he doing.
- 58:23Speaker 4: So he covering his tracks, you understand. Yeah, so you're
- 58:27Speaker 4: not What you're not doing is you're not watching long enough. See, ladies, y'all,
- 58:31Speaker 4: y'all can be some greater CSI S if you just
- 58:34Speaker 4: be a little bit more patient and you can figure
- 58:36Speaker 4: out exactly what's going on and what your man is
- 58:38Speaker 4: exactly doing, but you're not watching as soon as you
- 58:40Speaker 4: get some fam what is this? What is this help
- 58:42Speaker 4: of doing outside? And he's spandex and she's bad for
- 58:44Speaker 4: the fuck? What's going on right down now? I bet
- 58:46Speaker 4: you just here, just just for just for me, though,
- 58:50Speaker 4: could you send me a picture of the lady with
- 58:52Speaker 4: the span dix on so I can just see what
- 58:55Speaker 4: we're dealing with, because if she's fine as all get out,
- 58:58Speaker 4: then I know what's happening. It ain't bout on the flowers.
- 59:00Speaker 8: I promise you.
- 59:01Speaker 4: It ain't about these flowers. It's about It's about what's going.
- 59:04Speaker 8: On next dough. Your husband have been going next dough.
- 59:07Speaker 4: Okay, you don't think I know you don't think that,
- 59:09Speaker 4: but guess what, when he's going out of town, he
- 59:12Speaker 4: might be just going and dropping the car and coming
- 59:14Speaker 4: right on back. But guess what if he got them
- 59:16Speaker 4: cameras on his phone, he know when he can move around,
- 59:19Speaker 4: he can see you, he can see your daughter. He
- 59:21Speaker 4: know where everybody going in and when everybody going out.
- 59:23Speaker 4: I'm just saying I'm just trying to get I'm just
- 59:25Speaker 4: trying to give you the whole big picture of what
- 59:28Speaker 4: could possibly be going on in this household. All right.
- 59:32Speaker 8: That is your man cheating on with the lady next
- 59:34Speaker 8: door that's still.
- 59:35Speaker 4: In the flower.
- 59:36Speaker 5: All right.
- 59:36Speaker 4: The man cheating on you with the man with the
- 59:38Speaker 4: woman next door and the SPANDEX is badfoot. That's still
- 59:41Speaker 4: in the damn flower. The man cheating on you with
- 59:46Speaker 4: the lady that's got the SPANDX on. That's badfoot. That's
- 59:50Speaker 4: stealing the damn flowers. Now, if I was you, when
- 59:52Speaker 4: she's still the next flower, call the police on ass
- 59:55Speaker 4: and see how your husband react. Call the pop post
- 59:57Speaker 4: and see how she acts. See how you're reacting. Why
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: you call a police only? See right right down. You
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: don't catch him, but you jumping the gun too quickly.
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: That's up.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: All right, we're gonna we're gonna hear from Junior. Coming up,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: we'll have part two of the response to the Strawberry
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: letter at twenty three minutes after the hour. The subject
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: is why does he have videos of our neighbor? Why
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: does he have videos of our neighbor? Yes, Tommy, because
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: he ready to love the neighbor. I'm you better work
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: it out, tie it all in together, all right, we'll
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening hard
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: Morning show, all right, we have to. We're gonna recap
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: the Strawberry letter for today. The subject is why does
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: he have videos of our neighbor? This is written by
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: a wife who's been married for seventeen years. They have
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: a sixteen year old daughter. She and her husband get along,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: she says, they're the best of friends. They're just not
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: getting along romantically. She says they're lacking in that area.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: They're only intimate when they have to be, when it's necessary. Uh,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: And he hardly ever bothers her for sex. She's not
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: a stupid woman. She knows he has needs. She knows
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: he has needs as a man, so but she hopes
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: he's not going elsewhere for that. He's started to travel
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: a lot lately, and she's, you know, she's a bit
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: concern and so is he about their safety or whatever.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: She thinks. He put cameras in the house and and
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: all around so he can make sure that she and
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: the daughter are safe. Meanwhile, on the cameras, the neighbor
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: pops up, and the neighbor is in spandex and barefoot,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: stealing her hydrangees that's what she's seen on camera. She's
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: mad at her husband because her husband had the video
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: of the neighbor and the spandex and barefoot and stealing flowers.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: The husband sent this video to his wife. His wife
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: got mad because he's wondering. She's wondering why does her
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: husband have video of the neighbors stealing flowers? So she's
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: upset about that. She's she's asking is he secretly into
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: the neighbor and should she be worried? Junior, you're up.
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: I don't This letter don't make no sense to me.
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: I think, huh, I don't. I don't get this, not
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: at all. But I don't call it. I don't understand what.
- 1:02:18Speaker 4: First of all, we started off.
- 1:02:21Speaker 9: In the bedroom because your sex life ain't going the
- 1:02:24Speaker 9: way you want to. Then we get to hydrainius. I
- 1:02:28Speaker 9: don't even know what flower that is. I'll tell you
- 1:02:31Speaker 9: what you did do though with this letter.
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: I tell what you did do.
- 1:02:35Speaker 11: You got everybody going home today to check their flowers
- 1:02:38Speaker 11: because I don't go there.
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: I get out work.
- 1:02:39Speaker 11: I'm going outside and see if I'm missing some day
- 1:02:41Speaker 11: in flowercause that's what I.
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: Like to think about it. I don't see the point
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: of this whole level.
- 1:02:47Speaker 9: But I know somebody now that y'all here stelling flowers.
- 1:02:50Speaker 9: Now we got worried about stinning calls and flowers. This
- 1:02:53Speaker 9: is way too much now, how draining is important obviously
- 1:02:57Speaker 9: because she keeps coming over there and stealing, and you mad.
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: Because he sent a video of your neighbor taking the flowers?
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: You mad at that? Are you serious?
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: Okay?
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Then I'm concerned.
- 1:03:08Speaker 9: What do it matter she out there and spanned this,
- 1:03:11Speaker 9: You're still in the flowers. Forget what she got on
- 1:03:13Speaker 9: she taking the damn flowers. I don't care if you
- 1:03:17Speaker 9: had on the road, she taking the flowers. Why don't
- 1:03:21Speaker 9: nobody see that? This is the most craziest letter ever.
- 1:03:25Speaker 4: We talked about.
- 1:03:26Speaker 9: I said, I said, Okay, cool, they having problem they
- 1:03:28Speaker 9: sex life, Okay, cool, I can help that out.
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:03:30Speaker 8: Then you like, if I was.
- 1:03:31Speaker 9: Sitting at the table with you and you said this
- 1:03:33Speaker 9: to me, it wouldn't make no sense because you were saying, like, yeah, Melvin,
- 1:03:37Speaker 9: we don't he don't really ask me for six like
- 1:03:38Speaker 9: he used to. But then the flyer was missing. This
- 1:03:40Speaker 9: is a whole crazy conversation.
- 1:03:46Speaker 8: It just don't make no sense.
- 1:03:47Speaker 11: The video don't really touch man at night.
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: But but but my cat is missing.
- 1:03:52Speaker 11: What I don't understand this work. Don't take your flowers back.
- 1:04:02Speaker 11: She recognis doors. She's right there.
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: Go get them back. That's all you gotta go do.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: If it's about the flowers.
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: If it's about the.
- 1:04:09Speaker 9: Flowers, uh huh, just gonna take your flowers back. You
- 1:04:13Speaker 9: got on camera, we know she's stilling them.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: Does this require to beat down you think, Junior, because she's.
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: Still don't give your flowers back, that's what is called.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: But she told her not to take them, and she
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: went and took them.
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: Anyway, you're gonna take them back, and then you threaten her,
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: that's what you do.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: Okay, So it requires a threat. Yeah yeah, Tommy, tell.
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: Her, next time you pick the flowers, they're gonna be
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: over your grade. Next time they're gonna be your grade.
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: That's all. I got to touch these points settus and
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: watch what happened to your touch off Christmas? Yeah? Whatever, Okay,
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: that's it.
- 1:04:55Speaker 11: Crazy.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: Yeah, this is crazy. So so do you agree with
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: with a nephew, Junior, that the husband is seeing the neighbor.
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: He's been doing this for me. Yeah, he's been over there.
- 1:05:10Speaker 9: Yeah, but maybe picking the flowers. Maybe picking the flower
- 1:05:13Speaker 9: is a cold for you to come over.
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: It's something.
- 1:05:19Speaker 11: When you catch me picking your flowers, come.
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: Over to the house.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: That's and she's pretty bold with it because the wife
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: told her that she would have given her the flowers,
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: and she came back and stole them anyway, So she's
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: pretty bold.
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: When you see me on camera come out here and
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: fooling with the flowers. That means the coaches feel I
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: ain't nobody in my house. You can come on in here,
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: come on, so figure out how to get out of
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: your house. Okay, I tell her you're finn to go
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: on another business trip. Do what you got to do.
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: But we got time right now. But I'm come on,
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: come on once I once I touched these flowers the time. Baby,
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: I'm hot, I'm hot.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: Yeah, is doing it at night?
- 1:06:02Speaker 8: Hot, I'm hot, I'm hot.
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: She's doing it at night?
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: Clear science, clear sign that's cooked. Because because she was
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: startled when the when the wife says something to her,
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: she would startled. She didn't know the white was home.
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: Let's actually come out there and pick them out. Go
- 1:06:18Speaker 4: out there and get you a switch out that oak
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: tree and break it up and put that inform.
- 1:06:21Speaker 8: A ass right.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but the neighbor though, the neighbor.
- 1:06:30Speaker 4: Yeah, this is great.

- 1:07:03Speaker 11: So yeah, man, I don't even know what to do
- 1:07:08Speaker 11: it forty five? What does a forty five mean?
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: Family? What does that mean?
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: Live? Yeah?
- 1:07:15Speaker 11: Well that's true. But what was y'all doing it for?
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: What I was supposed to be doing it forty five?
- 1:07:20Speaker 11: What was y'all doing it forty five?
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: Whatever you want to do? I mean, what do you
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: feel like you got a brand new house if you
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: don't get to walk around there?
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: But marking your territory?
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: Time, mark your terrory? What you're talking about?
- 1:07:37Speaker 6: Boy?
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: I just didn't know what to do in forty five,
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: So I just thought i'd asked.
- 1:07:41Speaker 11: Y'all when y'all were forty five, what were y'all doing
- 1:07:43Speaker 11: it forty.
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: Five raising a six year old?
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, I had a three year old. Sheridan was three.
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: I have no grandfather advice. I don't have nothing. You
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: lived enough, Papa, Yeah, got none of that.
- 1:08:01Speaker 11: Advice's calling all I got for the grandkids.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Get your head there, because that's what your grandfather said
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: to you.
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: Yeah, but you do.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: You do think about you know, getting older and preparing
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: and things like that, right.
- 1:08:17Speaker 9: You do get I've thought about that surely, about the
- 1:08:20Speaker 9: second half, and you know how I'm going to do
- 1:08:23Speaker 9: things a lot better.
- 1:08:24Speaker 12: Just second half.
- 1:08:26Speaker 9: I messed up the first four to folks, I did.
- 1:08:27Speaker 9: I did some stuff I know I shouldn't did, but
- 1:08:30Speaker 9: I messed up. We all did, Yeah, we all did.
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: What more I do?
- 1:08:34Speaker 11: If I just possibly just focus, If I just focus,
- 1:08:37Speaker 11: I could do a lot more.
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: You're approaching the end of the second quarter. You realize that, right,
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: so the third third quarter is coming, so just prepare
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: yourself for the third quarter. Ain't no time outs, boy,
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: it's third quarter on the way. The goal is to
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: make it to the four. You understand, That's what you're
- 1:08:53Speaker 4: trying to do it. Make I'm a I'm approaching the
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: end of the third quarter, so what just you at
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: the end of the second one? Understand, Yeah, so you
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: your third quarter and guess what I swear last year
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: I thought it was it. I thought that was God.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: What would you like to achieve by your next birthday?
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: You know, Carl, I hadn't even thought about that, But
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: that's that's a good question.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: I have to think on it now at the time
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: the time you now start thinking about those.
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: That's a really good question, Carl, to think about that.
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: Put that on your refrigerator. And Junior.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: That's not to say that you don't live in the
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: now and live for the moment, you know. That's not
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: to say that, but there are certain things, yeah, that
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: you prepare and you know, certain goals that you want
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: to accomplish, especially when you come to an age like
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: forty five. It's it's a it's a monumental age. It's
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: one of those milestone ages.
- 1:09:47Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, it is.
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: Yeah, thanks too, yeah, man.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: Yeah, So next year we'll ask you the same thing.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: That's the same thing, all right, coming up at the
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: town the hour. Some social media advice is needed for
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: a young poker player. We'll talk about that right after this.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: You're listening morning show, all right, This guy from social
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: media needs some advice. This is from Steve Harvey FM.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: His name is dt. DT says, I'm seventeen and I've
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: gotten pretty good at poker. This is a fact I
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: didn't share with my mom when she wanted me to
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: bond quote unquote bond with her new boyfriend because he
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: loves to go to Vegas. So he suggested a friendly
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: game of poker with some family friends, to which I
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: played and won about one thousand dollars. But now my
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: mom is mad at me and wants me to give
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: the money back because her man is embarrassed. So here's
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: the question from d DT. He wants to know should
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: he really have to give the money back to the og?
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: Hell?
- 1:10:54Speaker 8: No to have boyfriend?
- 1:10:57Speaker 4: Hey, oh, Michael damn by here, you won fans feelings
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: hurt because you that came over and Rick shop on everybody.
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: Don't worry if you take your money and you put
- 1:11:06Speaker 4: it up under your bed and your shoe box and
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: you gone on about your business. The hell with your
- 1:11:10Speaker 4: mama's boyfriend. He's gonna be around that long end.
- 1:11:12Speaker 8: Damn with no.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Why is she mad at him though, the baby? Why
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: is she mad at her seventeen year old son?
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: He want one thousand dollars off the needle?
- 1:11:22Speaker 6: Friend?
- 1:11:23Speaker 8: Oh, he spanked him. He spanked them.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: Hate that. I had a good poker face all right
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: now and now he's embarrassed.
- 1:11:32Speaker 9: Every time you see him, man, yeah, every time you
- 1:11:34Speaker 9: see him, you just say you need some money because
- 1:11:36Speaker 9: you got it.
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, you got it.
- 1:11:40Speaker 9: Let the whole song let me, Yeah, he whole something.
- 1:11:45Speaker 9: Taking my mama out. You ain't got no money.
- 1:11:47Speaker 4: I got you, I got.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: Here. Take this, have a good time.
- 1:11:52Speaker 8: Yeah, don't spend it all to one place.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: Yeah, bring me back my change.
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: I ain't nobody gonna say nothing about the seventeen year
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: old gambling.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: Who We're not gonna.
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: I think it's great. Here's house at the casino. It's
- 1:12:10Speaker 4: going to miss alright. They shouldn't have taught him how
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: to play hell and.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: Their family friends its family friends.
- 1:12:15Speaker 8: Yes, that makes it right.
- 1:12:20Speaker 4: Y'all play love right center, y'all play left right center.
- 1:12:23Speaker 8: I've played once. That's a good game.
- 1:12:25Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:12:26Speaker 9: Well, the kids playing that game, they win the money
- 1:12:27Speaker 9: on plaiting quarters on that yeah, so, hey, that's right.
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: Center, know what that is.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: It's fun. That is fun. It is fun.
- 1:12:38Speaker 4: All right?
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: We have time for one more, guys, and this one's
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: from Rodney on Facebook. Rodney says, every year, a group
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: of six friends go on a vacation together. It's something
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: we've done for the last ten years and it's usually
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: pretty awesome. Each one of us is allowed to bring
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: a guest and the twelve of us always have a
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: great time. Except last year there was a problem. One
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: of the girls brought her new boyfriend and man, he
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: was not cool, always forgetting his wallet, going to the
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: restroom when the check comes, the debit card isn't working,
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: and he quote doesn't know why. Rodney says, I honestly
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: didn't think the two of them will be together a
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: year later, but they are. And now I want this.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: I don't want this guy going with us. What's the
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: best way to ask the group to see how many
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: agree with me? And what can we do about it?
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: Will come on, Tommy, I know you guys.
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: Tell his ass he ain't going this year? What you
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: ain't going this year? We didn't like what you did
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: last year. You're not going this year?
- 1:13:38Speaker 6: Now?
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: If you want to go, then you need to give
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: us about four or five thousand dollars cash so we
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: can have your money when it's time to pay these
- 1:13:44Speaker 4: bills and stuff, and give us all your money up
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: front and we'll let you go.
- 1:13:47Speaker 8: Other than that, you ain't going.
- 1:13:49Speaker 4: Not what say it?
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: Just like that?
- 1:13:52Speaker 4: Huh, just like that, And we're gonna tell the girl
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: you ain't going either if you bringing him? Naw, okay,
- 1:13:59Speaker 4: so down we down to we down the five couples
- 1:14:02Speaker 4: instead of six.
- 1:14:03Speaker 8: I kind of like it though, because.
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: Wow, I mean what you're saying. Yeah, because he never
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: he didn't participate any it, any of the check grab run.
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: On the bill.
- 1:14:16Speaker 11: Yeah, I've got one time not to put your share
- 1:14:18Speaker 11: of the money in on dinner.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: One time.
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: As soon as I see you go to the bathroom. Hey,
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: my man, my man, where you going?
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: My man?
- 1:14:27Speaker 9: No, no, no, you are with the bathroom. Come on back,
- 1:14:31Speaker 9: come on back, come on, come on back. Now you
- 1:14:34Speaker 9: got one line in front of me. Yeah, you're blown.
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: Ain't that bad? Ain't that old? Come on now?
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: What about his card not working?
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: Yeah, it's it's six fifty person.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: Come on now, all right, thanks guys, we'll have more
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at twenty
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: minutes and a half to the hour right after this,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: you're listening.
- 1:14:56Speaker 12: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: Well, the Hollywood actors have joined the writers on strike.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: This is only the second time that actors have joined
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: writers on the picket lines. At a press conference, sag
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: After a president, Fran Dresser said, quote, we are being
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: victimized by a very greedy enterprise, and at some point
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: you have to say, no, We're not going to take
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: this anymore. You people are crazy. What are you doing?
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: Why are you doing this? According to Variety, the former
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: Nanny Starr said that streaming and artificial intelligence have upended
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: the entertainment industry's business model, but the sag After contracts
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: haven't been updated to reflect those advancements. So this strike
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: has been going on for quite some time.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: So the striker is striking because of the streaming service. Yes,
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: it's all the writers and actors. They're not getting compensated.
- 1:15:50Speaker 4: They're not exactly And it's the same that happened years
- 1:15:53Speaker 4: ago in the music industry. You know what I mean.
- 1:15:56Speaker 4: It happened in the music industry years ago that they weren't.
- 1:15:58Speaker 8: Getting credit for.
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: Yeah, the same thing, because I think when you look
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: at the news, and because you see it on social
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: media too, you kind of see the actors, the celebrities
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: and writers out there on strike, but you don't know
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: from the outside looking in. You look, you think it's
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: a bunch of celebrities fighting over money, you know what
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: I'm saying. So this is a valid issue and the
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: valid reason that they're providing a service they're not getting
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: paid for.
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: When I go to Cali this weekend, it is in
- 1:16:23Speaker 4: my mind to go and pick it for at least
- 1:16:25Speaker 4: two hours.
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: I just want to, Okay, yes, be at there all day,
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: longer than two hours, as long as it ain't.
- 1:16:31Speaker 8: This Texas heat.
- 1:16:32Speaker 4: I can hand it.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: Coming up in thirty three minutes after the coming up
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: in thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll play another
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: round of would you rather? Right after this you're listening
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: hard morning show, and it's time now for a round
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: of would you rather?
- 1:16:49Speaker 4: Here we go?
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: Would you rather always say what you're thinking? Or never
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: say anything again? Which one I'm saying?
- 1:16:56Speaker 8: What the hell on my mind?
- 1:17:00Speaker 4: Who like I'm saying, whatever the hell on my min
- 1:17:02Speaker 4: All right, when you're your business, you got to get
- 1:17:06Speaker 4: that off your check.
- 1:17:06Speaker 8: You can't keep it.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: Address.
- 1:17:11Speaker 8: I'm free.
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: You agreed, you're and you're right.
- 1:17:17Speaker 4: Absolutely. I have to say something. Can't tell me. I'm
- 1:17:20Speaker 4: thinking it and I can't say nothing. You tele boy.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: Would you rather the strongest person in the world or
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: the fastest person in the world. We're going for stronger
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: or faster?
- 1:17:33Speaker 4: Would you go ahead?
- 1:17:34Speaker 8: I don't need now one of them?
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: You gotta pick one. That's the game.
- 1:17:40Speaker 4: Well, first of all, whales were running to and secondly,
- 1:17:42Speaker 4: what am I picking up?
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: What is it?
- 1:17:45Speaker 4: Timmy?
- 1:17:46Speaker 8: Just moving calls?
- 1:17:47Speaker 4: What is what am I doing?
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: Do you have to analyze the would you rather every day?
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: Yes? It?
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: Would you rather be stronger or faster? Which one?
- 1:17:58Speaker 4: I want to be stronger? I want to with Richardson?
- 1:18:01Speaker 4: Is I dont want to be the fast Okay, Junior?
- 1:18:05Speaker 10: We know.
- 1:18:09Speaker 4: The man the fastest? Yeah, I want to be fast. Well,
- 1:18:15Speaker 4: we know that you should have chose.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: All right, here's one guys. Would you rather spend one
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: night with your most hated X or would you rather
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: live on the streets for a week?
- 1:18:29Speaker 4: B B give me my basket, give me my calling boy,
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: give me my signs, all my stuff. I need what
- 1:18:36Speaker 4: I'm going to watch these windows lights.
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: Damn your mouth. I got a cup. I got a night,
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: one night with your X. What one night with your
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: most caterd X? Or a week on the streets.
- 1:18:51Speaker 4: Yes, I want a week on the street. Yes, we're
- 1:18:55Speaker 4: gonna teach me something. I'm gonna learn some I'm gonna
- 1:18:57Speaker 4: get educated on these streets.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: I go in the winter.
- 1:19:04Speaker 12: Wins.
- 1:19:04Speaker 4: I am a nick Nolty down and out in Beverly Hills,
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: I swear, I am.
- 1:19:10Speaker 8: Okay, we're moving on.
- 1:19:11Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: Would you rather have a permanent, big pimple on your
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: face or would you rather have an embarrassing massive birthmark
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: on your what Carla booty on your booty?
- 1:19:26Speaker 4: A massive birth mark on your kills me every time,
- 1:19:32Speaker 4: or a pimple that never goes away. I'm gonna take that.
- 1:19:34Speaker 4: I'm gonna take that birthmark on the butt. Yeah, really yeah, yeah,
- 1:19:39Speaker 4: I'm not walking with this big pimple. Every time you
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: look at me, you're looking dead at that and you
