- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson with you,
- 0:04Speaker 2: and this show is going to deal a lot with
- 0:07Speaker 2: the insanity of the woke movement. A university program is
- 0:11Speaker 2: now linking Christians and Republicans to Nazis, and your tax
- 0:15Speaker 2: dollars are helping pay for that. Plus a very interesting debate.
- 0:20Speaker 2: It coverages and a scene that has now been deleted
- 0:23Speaker 2: that we're supposed to all say we're sorry it was
- 0:26Speaker 2: ever made.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Senator, great to be.
- 0:28Speaker 2: With you, and I want to first talk about this
- 0:31Speaker 2: university program. It's costing American taxpayer dollars. A grant through
- 0:36Speaker 2: the Department of Homeland Security is now linking quote Christians
- 0:41Speaker 2: and Republicans to Nazis.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Well, sadly, that's exactly right.
- 0:46Speaker 4: The Department of Homeland Security has a program called the
- 0:49Speaker 4: Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention Grant Program, which gives funds
- 0:55Speaker 4: to quote establish or enhance capabilities to prevent targeted violence
- 1:00Speaker 4: and terrorism. So you might think, Okay, this is going
- 1:03Speaker 4: after al Qaeda, this is going after Jihadis, this is
- 1:08Speaker 4: going after you know, maybe it's going after klansmen, maybe
- 1:11Speaker 4: it's going after Antifa, it's going after people who engage
- 1:15Speaker 4: in acts of violence and terrorism.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Well, you would be wrong.
- 1:20Speaker 4: The Biden administration is awarded eighty grants through this program,
- 1:24Speaker 4: totally just under forty million dollars. The lowest grant was
- 1:28Speaker 4: for eighty five thousand dollars, the highest was just over
- 1:32Speaker 4: one point one million, and one of the grantees who
- 1:36Speaker 4: got three hundred and fifty two thoy one hundred and
- 1:39Speaker 4: nine dollars was Prevents Ohio program to quote draw on
- 1:46Speaker 4: the expertise of the University of Dayton faculty to fight
- 1:50Speaker 4: domestic violence, extremism, and hate movements, and the university's grant
- 1:55Speaker 4: application linked to a controversial Dayton conference where an academic
- 2:02Speaker 4: researcher presented a chart that is entitled the Pyramid of
- 2:07Speaker 4: far right Radicalizations. Now, what are the organizations and movements
- 2:12Speaker 4: displayed on the pyramid?
- 2:14Speaker 3: One is the Republican.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Party, another the Heritage Foundation, another the American Conservative Union,
- 2:22Speaker 4: another Fox News, another Breitbart News, another the National Rifle Association,
- 2:27Speaker 4: another Praeger University, another the Tea Party Patriots, another the
- 2:31Speaker 4: Make America Great Again movement, another the pro police Blue
- 2:35Speaker 4: Lives Matter movement, and another the Christian Broadcasting Network.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Wow.
- 2:41Speaker 4: All of those right of center, very mainstream organizations. What
- 2:45Speaker 4: does the pyramid link them to? Hate groups like the Base,
- 2:50Speaker 4: which is a neo Nazi paramilitary group, and the Daily Stormer,
- 2:54Speaker 4: which is a pro Nazi publication.
- 2:57Speaker 5: Uh.
- 3:00Speaker 4: This The application from the University of Dayton linked to
- 3:05Speaker 4: a video of the conference, describing it as showing the
- 3:09Speaker 4: university's work quote to assess regional needs and capacities for
- 3:14Speaker 4: violent extremism prevention. One of the speakers at the conference,
- 3:21Speaker 4: a research at the University of Cincinnati called Michael low Adenthal,
- 3:27Speaker 4: presented the Pyramid of far right radicalization, said it was
- 3:31Speaker 4: an accurate description of the modern far right. And if
- 3:36Speaker 4: you look at this particular individual, he is an extreme individual.
- 3:47Speaker 4: If you look at his background, this lecturer Loadenthal, who
- 3:56Speaker 4: at the time described himself as a medical worker who
- 4:00Speaker 4: provided abortion services, So he's an abortion provider. He's frequently
- 4:05Speaker 4: retweeted Antifa counts and defends left wing violence on social media.
- 4:10Speaker 4: That's one of the guys presenting. So who else is
- 4:15Speaker 4: presenting at this organization. Well, there are other extremists, such
- 4:22Speaker 4: as a fellow named Alexander Hinton. He is a professor
- 4:29Speaker 4: at Rutgers University who specializes in genocide, and at the
- 4:34Speaker 4: conference he compared the Trump administration to the Khmer Rouge.
- 4:40Speaker 4: The Commer Rouge for pole Pot killed an estimated one
- 4:44Speaker 4: and a half million to two million people in Cambodia.
- 4:47Speaker 4: The last I checked the Trump administration didn't have death camps,
- 4:51Speaker 4: and the last I checked the left actually likes Communist
- 4:53Speaker 4: death camps. But another speaker, a woman named Nicole Wittersheim,
- 4:59Speaker 4: Deputy Washington director for Human Rights Watch, compared Florida Governor
- 5:06Speaker 4: Ronda Santis proposing a volunteer civilian military force to assist
- 5:11Speaker 4: the National Guard and emergencies such as hurricanes to the
- 5:15Speaker 4: Holocaust that the Nazis carried.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Out in World War Two.
- 5:20Speaker 5: These are.
- 5:22Speaker 4: The radicals who are being funded by the Joe Biden
- 5:26Speaker 4: Department of Homeland.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Security now Senator to be queer for everyone that's listening,
- 5:31Speaker 2: if a private group wants to do this, there's many
- 5:33Speaker 2: private groups to do this all the time.
- 5:36Speaker 1: That's one thing.
- 5:37Speaker 2: It's completely different when you're taking federal dollars, tax dollars
- 5:42Speaker 2: that are now going to this type of hateful propaganda
- 5:47Speaker 2: and advocating for things that are just clearly not true.
- 5:51Speaker 2: How are they getting away with this.
- 5:55Speaker 4: Well, okay, so their defense is they say, actually, the
- 5:58Speaker 4: seminar with all these radical speakers, that seminar itself was
- 6:02Speaker 4: not funded by the.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Department of Homeland Security.
- 6:04Speaker 4: Instead, the organization that put on the seminar got funds
- 6:08Speaker 4: later from DHS and pointed to the seminar as an
- 6:11Speaker 4: example of the great work they do. And the Biden
- 6:14Speaker 4: DHS said, oh, that sounds great to us, and was
- 6:17Speaker 4: happy to spend your and my tax dollars supporting a
- 6:22Speaker 4: group that apparently sees no difference between the RNC, between
- 6:26Speaker 4: the Heritage Foundation, between Fox News and Nazis, an organization
- 6:35Speaker 4: that sees no difference between genocidal, murderous communist and the
- 6:40Speaker 4: Kamer Rouge, and the Trump administration. That is, it's the
- 6:46Speaker 4: latest example of the Biden administration being more than happy
- 6:51Speaker 4: to weaponize the federal government, to use the powers of
- 6:55Speaker 4: the federal government to target you, to pay people who
- 7:00Speaker 4: you you. I'm willing to bet that a fair number
- 7:03Speaker 4: of the listeners of this pot and by the way,
- 7:05Speaker 4: I got to say that I'm a little disappointed that
- 7:07Speaker 4: they listed the NRA and Fox News and the RNC,
- 7:12Speaker 4: and apparently verdict didn't make the list. I mean, heck,
- 7:15Speaker 4: I actually feel if they're listing what they think is
- 7:18Speaker 4: evil in the world, we got to work a little
- 7:21Speaker 4: bit harder because because we haven't apparently reached the level
- 7:26Speaker 4: of evil that these lunatics ascribed to places like but Breitbart.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Well, it's because they haven't officially named you as are
- 7:33Speaker 2: verdict as a terrorist group, right. I mean, that's how
- 7:35Speaker 2: you hide these money, these dollars. The Biden administration doing
- 7:39Speaker 2: out these tax dollars to quote anti terrorism grant initiatives,
- 7:43Speaker 2: And that's part of how by the way they disguise it,
- 7:46Speaker 2: they say, well, who would be against giving tax dollars
- 7:50Speaker 2: to anti terrorism grant initiatives? To a university program that
- 7:55Speaker 2: is doing that, That's how you justify And I think
- 7:59Speaker 2: there's so how many people do you just assume if
- 8:02Speaker 2: you name it something like that, right, we're gonna give
- 8:04Speaker 2: a lot of tax dollars to anti terrorism grant initiative.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Most Americans if you heard that, would say, well, of
- 8:09Speaker 2: course I'm in favor of that. Of course I'm in
- 8:11Speaker 2: favor of using our tax dollars for anti terrorism initiatives.
- 8:16Speaker 2: That is not what they're doing here at this university program.
- 8:19Speaker 3: It is not.
- 8:20Speaker 4: They are engaged in propaganda, and the propaganda is saying
- 8:23Speaker 4: that anyone right of center is a terrorist, anyone right
- 8:27Speaker 4: of center as a Nazi, anyone right of center as
- 8:29Speaker 4: a klansman. It is the vicious lie that the radical
- 8:32Speaker 4: left pushes often, but it is not. Look if they
- 8:36Speaker 4: want to say that, that's fine, but why is the
- 8:39Speaker 4: government funding this. They're funding it because they want to
- 8:44Speaker 4: give fuel to the fire attacking those they view as
- 8:49Speaker 4: enemies of the regime.
- 8:51Speaker 2: I want to talk about the money because the next
- 8:53Speaker 2: question people are going to ask the is all right, well,
- 8:55Speaker 2: how much money are we talking about here that's being
- 8:56Speaker 2: abused in this way?
- 8:58Speaker 1: And before we get into that, let me tell you
- 8:59Speaker 1: about our friends of chalk.
- 9:00Speaker 2: If you're a guy and you're ready to fight back,
- 9:03Speaker 2: you are sick and tired of that feeling, that feeling
- 9:06Speaker 2: of just fatigue, of feeling tired, and you understand, yeah,
- 9:11Speaker 2: something's changed. I don't know what's going on, but I
- 9:13Speaker 2: want to get back to feeling like myself again.
- 9:16Speaker 1: That is where Chalk comes in. You're not alone.
- 9:19Speaker 2: By the way, taesuthstrum levels have dropped off a cliff
- 9:23Speaker 2: historically to an all time low and that's exactly why

- 10:17Speaker 2: Been for thirty five percent off Center. Let's talk quickly
- 10:20Speaker 2: about the financial side of this. The Biden administration we
- 10:23Speaker 2: now know is awarded these eighty grants through this group.
- 10:28Speaker 2: This TVTP totally just under forty million dollars.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Now.
- 10:34Speaker 2: The lowest grant we've been told was Forrady five thousand,
- 10:37Speaker 2: the highest was for over one point one million, and
- 10:39Speaker 2: the median was about four hundred and forty two thousand dollars. Now,
- 10:44Speaker 2: these grant recipients are quote prohibited from engaging in viewpoint
- 10:48Speaker 2: discrimination according to DHS. Well, if that is the standard,
- 10:53Speaker 2: then I think it's pretty obvious that they are in
- 10:56Speaker 2: violation of that quote standard right away.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Here.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Look, I think that's exactly right.
- 11:01Speaker 4: This particular organization prevents Ohio program got three hundred and
- 11:05Speaker 4: fifty two thousand dollars, and given the history of this program,
- 11:09Speaker 4: given that they're pointing to this radical conference as evidence
- 11:13Speaker 4: of the kind of work they do, I have no
- 11:16Speaker 4: confidence that any acts of violence will be prevented by
- 11:19Speaker 4: this organization, that any terrorism will be prevented by this organization.
- 11:24Speaker 4: In fact, I have no confidence that this group will
- 11:27Speaker 4: even admit who is in fact a terrorist organization. If
- 11:31Speaker 4: you're identifying the Heritage Foundation, listen, you and I have
- 11:34Speaker 4: both been to Heritage Heritage as a building a couple
- 11:36Speaker 4: of blocks from Capitol Hill. It's this big building with
- 11:39Speaker 4: lots of scholarly academic folks, typically sitting in cubicles with
- 11:43Speaker 4: very thick glasses, writing very dense white papers, and about
- 11:47Speaker 4: the only act of violence you might get from a
- 11:49Speaker 4: Heritage Foundation scholars. You might get a paper cut from
- 11:52Speaker 4: picking up their white paper, but they are not fire
- 11:56Speaker 4: bombing cities, they are not looting stores, they are not
- 12:00Speaker 4: blowing places up. They're not doing the sorts of things
- 12:03Speaker 4: actually that the radical left that Antifa is doing. But
- 12:06Speaker 4: of course this organization would never target Antifa because look,
- 12:12Speaker 4: we've talked about this quite a lot that the distressing
- 12:15Speaker 4: reality is this bided administration, I believe, is perfectly fine
- 12:19Speaker 4: with political violence if it serves their partisan interest. It's
- 12:24Speaker 4: why to this date, Merrick Garland has not prosecuted a
- 12:27Speaker 4: single individual breaking the law by protesting in front of
- 12:31Speaker 4: Supreme Court justices homes night after night after night, because
- 12:35Speaker 4: he supports that lawlessness, and the administration doesn't care if
- 12:39Speaker 4: it's directly contrary.
- 12:41Speaker 3: To federal law.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Now that we know how this money is being spent, center,
- 12:44Speaker 2: is there any way that the House could look into
- 12:46Speaker 2: this spending and hold Department of Home and Security accountable
- 12:49Speaker 2: for quarly abusing these funds.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Absolutely, and I hope the House holds hearings on this.
- 12:55Speaker 4: The Senate should as well, but Senate Democrats don't care,
- 12:58Speaker 4: so that they're not going to old hearings on this,
- 13:01Speaker 4: because they're perfectly fine with the money being spent in
- 13:06Speaker 4: this way. But the House ought to have hearings on this,
- 13:09Speaker 4: and I very much hope they do.
- 13:11Speaker 2: I want to move on to another issue that actually
- 13:13Speaker 2: is connected to this woke agenda even more. You are
- 13:17Speaker 2: now calling out debate coaches who actually have banned students
- 13:23Speaker 2: from saying the words illegal immigrants. One coach told students
- 13:29Speaker 2: that if they use the term illegal quote unquote to
- 13:32Speaker 2: describe an immigrant, then he will give you, quote a
- 13:36Speaker 2: stern lecture and doc points from your team. Debate is something,
- 13:42Speaker 2: by the way, that I did in high school.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Loved it. You did it in high school.
- 13:46Speaker 2: I'm sure I'm guessing, but I feel very confident you did.
- 13:49Speaker 2: And you obviously did debate I'm sure in college and
- 13:53Speaker 2: then mock trial and things like that. The idea that
- 13:55Speaker 2: you can't have a real debate, and these coach are saying,
- 13:58Speaker 2: we're going to force you into certain words terminology you
- 14:01Speaker 2: want to talk about a freedom of speech problem.
- 14:04Speaker 1: In my opinion, this is it.
- 14:06Speaker 4: Well, I will say, Ben, that's actually a wager. You
- 14:09Speaker 4: would have lost a lot it. Wow, I wanted you
- 14:14Speaker 4: would have lost that. I wanted to do debate in
- 14:16Speaker 4: high school. But I went to a little bit of
- 14:18Speaker 4: school in Houston, Second Baptist High School, which you're well
- 14:21Speaker 4: familiar with it. And at the time my graduating class
- 14:25Speaker 4: was forty three and the school was too small, it
- 14:27Speaker 4: didn't have a debate team. So I was, if there's
- 14:31Speaker 4: anything geekier than a high school debater, it's a high
- 14:34Speaker 4: school debater wanna be, which is what I was. And
- 14:40Speaker 4: so yet, you know, I mean, I didn't get to
- 14:42Speaker 4: hang around, you know, cool varsity tennis players like Ben Ferguson.
- 14:48Speaker 4: But when I went to college, I managed to achieve
- 14:51Speaker 4: my aspirations and I became a college debater. And I
- 14:54Speaker 4: spent almost every weekend all four years at Princeton doing
- 14:58Speaker 4: college debate and loved it and learned an enormous amount
- 15:02Speaker 4: from it. And there's an article that came out just
- 15:05Speaker 4: a week ago, and it's an article in the Free
- 15:07Speaker 4: Press by an individual named James Fishback, and it's entitled
- 15:11Speaker 4: it high school Debates.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Debate is no.
- 15:13Speaker 4: Longer allowed, and it talks about an amazing thing going
- 15:17Speaker 4: on where there are now debate judges that are debating
- 15:24Speaker 4: in that are judging college debate in NSDA, which is
- 15:31Speaker 4: one of the college debate tournaments, not the one I
- 15:33Speaker 4: competed on, but it's another one that's heavily on the
- 15:36Speaker 4: West coast. And he goes through the profiles from a
- 15:42Speaker 4: number of judges and what they described. So one judge
- 15:47Speaker 4: is someone named Lilah Lavender who was National debate Champion
- 15:53Speaker 4: in twenty nineteen. And according to the bio of Lilah Lavender,
- 16:00Speaker 4: quote before anything else, including being a debate judge, I'm
- 16:06Speaker 4: a Marxist, Leninist, maoist. I cannot check the revolutionary proletarian
- 16:11Speaker 4: science at the door. When I'm judging, I will no
- 16:14Speaker 4: longer evaluate and thus never vote for rightist, capitalist, imperialist
- 16:21Speaker 4: positions arguments. Examples of arguments of this nature are as follows.
- 16:27Speaker 4: Fascism good capitalism, good imperialist war, good neoliberalism, good. Defenses
- 16:32Speaker 4: of the US are otherwise bourgeois nationalism, zionism or normalizing
- 16:38Speaker 4: Israel colonialism, good US white fascist policing good, etc. That
- 16:46Speaker 4: is astonishing. By the way, there's another judge whose bio
- 16:51Speaker 4: says some judge named Shubham Gupta, and his judge his
- 16:57Speaker 4: bio reads, quote, if you are discussing immigrants in a
- 17:00Speaker 4: round and describe the person as quote illegal, I will
- 17:04Speaker 4: immediately stop the round, give you the loss with low speaks,
- 17:07Speaker 4: low speaker points, give you a stern lecture, and then
- 17:10Speaker 4: talk to your coach. I will not have you making
- 17:12Speaker 4: the debate state space unsafe. Well, mister Gupta, let me
- 17:16Speaker 4: tell you something. The word illegal alien is in federal law.
- 17:19Speaker 4: It is United States law, and the fact that you
- 17:22Speaker 4: are a little Marxist doesn't change reality. Another judge, Judge
- 17:28Speaker 4: Christy Sharma, writes a list of quote things that will
- 17:34Speaker 4: cause you to automatically lose. Number three is referring to
- 17:39Speaker 4: immigrants as illegal. So I want you to think of this,
- 17:43Speaker 4: this lavender person who describes themselves as a Marxist, Leninist, Maoist. Now,
- 17:57Speaker 4: it is apparently the standard, at least with these judges
- 18:00Speaker 4: in college debate that unless you argue for communism, you
- 18:03Speaker 4: will lose. That's not debate, that is indoctrination, that is
- 18:08Speaker 4: repeating Pravda. And I got to say, look, I'm someone
- 18:13Speaker 4: who as a debater, I learned an enormous amount and
- 18:16Speaker 4: by the way, I had to debate lots of positions
- 18:18Speaker 4: I didn't agree with in many ways you learn more
- 18:22Speaker 4: debating a proposition you disagree with, and you learn debating
- 18:26Speaker 4: something you agree strongly with. I'll tell you one of
- 18:30Speaker 4: my favorite stories. So, my debate partner in college was
- 18:33Speaker 4: a guy named David Panton, and he was my college roommate,
- 18:37Speaker 4: my law school roommate. Other than Heidi's my closest friend
- 18:39Speaker 4: on planet Earth.
- 18:40Speaker 3: You met David in fact.
- 18:43Speaker 4: We played tennis and pickleball together. It's a great guy.
- 18:48Speaker 3: David and I we were debate.
- 18:51Speaker 4: Partners, and we got tired about in debate people whining
- 18:56Speaker 4: and complaining about whatever case it was you ran, and
- 18:59Speaker 4: they would complaining, oh, it's unfair, the case is a truism,
- 19:03Speaker 4: it's tautology, and they'd spend the entire debate round whining
- 19:08Speaker 4: that it was unfair to debate whatever it was that
- 19:10Speaker 4: you were proposing. And so we came up with a
- 19:12Speaker 4: way to avoid that. And what we would do at
- 19:16Speaker 4: just about every single case where we were the affirmative,
- 19:19Speaker 4: where we were presenting a case, is we'd give the
- 19:22Speaker 4: opposing team the option of which side to take. So
- 19:25Speaker 4: I'd stand up and present the initial speech of the
- 19:30Speaker 4: debate round, and I'd say, you know, all right, let's
- 19:33Speaker 4: take one of the issues that is apparently no longer allowed.
- 19:37Speaker 4: Capitalism is the most effective economic system ever to exist
- 19:42Speaker 4: on planet Earth. And I'd turn to the other side
- 19:43Speaker 4: and say yes or no, which side do you take?
- 19:46Speaker 4: And if they'd pick, all the whining disappeared from the
- 19:52Speaker 4: round because once they picked, they couldn't complain gosh, it's
- 19:55Speaker 4: unfair the side I picked, because you morons.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Picked that side.
- 19:58Speaker 4: And if they refused to pick, I'd typically flip a
- 20:00Speaker 4: coin take one side. But even that eliminated the whining.
- 20:04Speaker 4: I mentioned that because there was there was one round
- 20:07Speaker 4: in particular, so senior year. Towards the end of senior year,
- 20:11Speaker 4: David and nine competed at what was called a hybrid tournament. Now,
- 20:14Speaker 4: hybrid tournament was you teamed up with a debater from
- 20:17Speaker 4: another school, and the rules were that if you made
- 20:22Speaker 4: a final tournament, if you made a final round in
- 20:25Speaker 4: a tournament, you qualified.
- 20:26Speaker 3: For the national tournament.
- 20:28Speaker 4: And so David and I had both qualified for NATS
- 20:30Speaker 4: at that point, we decided we'd go to hybrid. We'd
- 20:33Speaker 4: go to the hybrid tournament and team up with other folks,
- 20:35Speaker 4: and so I teamed up with a guy from University
- 20:39Speaker 4: of Maryland, Baltimore County named Slash Kendig Slash. It was
- 20:42Speaker 4: a fantastic debater. He had long hair and a beard.
- 20:45Speaker 4: He had a leather jacket with I think thirty seven
- 20:48Speaker 4: razor blades on it. One he said, for every woman
- 20:51Speaker 4: that had broken up with him and cut his heart, Slash.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Against the debate, Right, that's the guy you don't want
- 21:01Speaker 2: to go up in debating agains.
- 21:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 21:03Speaker 4: Look, he was like a you know, biker outlaw was
- 21:07Speaker 4: the sort of image he portrayed, and I was a
- 21:09Speaker 4: pretty buttoned up, you know, Princeton guy. And so we
- 21:12Speaker 4: debated together and we called ourselves Armageddon a because it
- 21:16Speaker 4: was sort of such a bizarre combination. We were friends
- 21:19Speaker 4: and got along very well, but he he was very
- 21:21Speaker 4: far left and I was very conservative. And we ended
- 21:25Speaker 4: up in the fifth round, which was the final closed
- 21:28Speaker 4: round of the tournament, hitting my normal debate partner David Panton,
- 21:32Speaker 4: who's Jamaican. He's from Jamaica's not American, he's Jamaican. And
- 21:37Speaker 4: I decided to run a case the United States is
- 21:41Speaker 4: or is not the greatest country in the history of
- 21:44Speaker 4: the universe. And I turned to David, who's beating the opposition.
- 21:49Speaker 4: And by the way, Slash, who was my partner, thought
- 21:54Speaker 4: the case was a falssm. He thought there was no
- 21:56Speaker 4: way on earth you could make the case the argument
- 21:58Speaker 4: that the America is the greatest country in the world.
- 22:00Speaker 4: I thought it was a truism. I thought it was
- 22:02Speaker 4: indisputably true. I get up a minute into the speech.
- 22:05Speaker 4: I turned to David and say which side would you take?
- 22:07Speaker 4: And David, grinning ear to ear.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Says we will take that it is.
- 22:12Speaker 4: And he made me argue that America is not the
- 22:15Speaker 4: greatest country in the history of the world. Now you
- 22:17Speaker 4: gotta understand, David is Jamaica, He's not American.
- 22:20Speaker 3: But he knew that.
- 22:21Speaker 4: I believed that case with every molecule in my body,
- 22:27Speaker 4: and I'm proud to tell you David whipped my ass.
- 22:32Speaker 4: I couldn't effectively make the case that America is not
- 22:36Speaker 4: the greatest country in the history of the world. And
- 22:37Speaker 4: so Slash and I lost the round badly. But I
- 22:41Speaker 4: mentioned that to say in apparently today's college debate, what
- 22:47Speaker 4: David and I did would no longer be allowed because
- 22:50Speaker 4: these radical Marxist Leninist Maoist judges who apparently don't care
- 22:55Speaker 4: about debate. They don't actually believe debate matters. That judge
- 23:00Speaker 4: would sit there and go, oh, you said America is
- 23:01Speaker 4: not the greatest country. You win, doesn't matter. You could
- 23:04Speaker 4: You could sit there and and and and whistle you
- 23:08Speaker 4: you can just read the phone book. Doesn't matter what
- 23:10Speaker 4: you do. You win because I'm I'm a Marxist and
- 23:13Speaker 4: I agree with your position. That is so destructive to
- 23:19Speaker 4: the very essence of debate, and it's destroying what is
- 23:22Speaker 4: an incredible teaching experience for for college kids. I got
- 23:27Speaker 4: to admit this story has me horrified.
- 23:29Speaker 1: It's an indoctrination aspect of this as well.
- 23:32Speaker 2: Right, you can play and do this as long as
- 23:36Speaker 2: you say, and we indoctrinate you to believe a certain point.
- 23:40Speaker 2: When I when I was in high school, I had
- 23:41Speaker 2: a debate and I remember this and it was like
- 23:45Speaker 2: a very weird moment for me, and the debate coach
- 23:49Speaker 2: was amazing and he said, all right, one of you
- 23:51Speaker 2: is going to take the side that we that is
- 23:53Speaker 2: right to ban the burning of the American flag, and
- 23:56Speaker 2: the other is going to, you know, obviously, take the opposite.
- 23:59Speaker 2: And I had to argue both sides once in one round.
- 24:02Speaker 2: And the other on the other round, and it was.
- 24:04Speaker 2: It taught me so much though about learning what the
- 24:08Speaker 2: other side says, what the other side believes, why they
- 24:11Speaker 2: believe it, and it gave me an incredible amount of
- 24:14Speaker 2: training for doing what I do today. When you go
- 24:16Speaker 2: on TV and when you're talking about tough issues and
- 24:18Speaker 2: we're you know, debating grand ideas, but I cannot imagine
- 24:22Speaker 2: having a debate coach. It says, hey, you can say
- 24:25Speaker 2: whatever you want to say as long as it's what
- 24:27Speaker 2: I believe you should indoctrinate to believe, and then you
- 24:29Speaker 2: can only argue that.
- 24:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I have to admit, like I read about the
- 24:35Speaker 4: knucklehead coach who said, if you say the word he alien,
- 24:37Speaker 4: I'll end the round, score you as losing and give
- 24:40Speaker 4: you very low points and then lecture you. I gotta admit,
- 24:43Speaker 4: if that coach said that to me at eighteen, I
- 24:46Speaker 4: would have taken his head off. I mean we would
- 24:48Speaker 4: have had a screen. He wanted a debate, We would
- 24:51Speaker 4: have had a debate right there because I would have
- 24:54Speaker 4: said some four letter words that would have been.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Memorable, no doubt about it.
- 24:59Speaker 2: I want to move to something else that deals with
- 25:01Speaker 2: this type of insanity as well. There is that time
- 25:05Speaker 2: of year, it's graduation time. You've got people graduating from school,
- 25:10Speaker 2: from law school.
- 25:11Speaker 1: From pretty much everything.
- 25:13Speaker 2: And there is something shocking that happened at the City
- 25:17Speaker 2: University of New York. I want to get into that
- 25:20Speaker 2: in a moment, but first I want to tell you
- 25:21Speaker 2: about a friends over at Patriot Mobile. If you are
- 25:24Speaker 2: just sick and tired of giving your money to companies

- 25:45Speaker 2: mobile companies have been dumping millions and millions and millions
- 25:48Speaker 2: of dollars into leftist causes, and we had to take
- 25:51Speaker 2: it because there was not another option. It didn't exist. Well,

- 26:58Speaker 2: Mobile eight seven eight Patriots that's eight seven eight Patriot
- 27:02Speaker 2: eight seven eight Patriot or Patriotmobile dot com slash verdict.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Make sure you use the promo code verdict cenater this
- 27:09Speaker 2: one you sent and I want you to explain people
- 27:13Speaker 2: to everybody. The City University of New York, they had
- 27:17Speaker 2: a speaker that not only was anti Semitic, but was
- 27:22Speaker 2: enthusiastically celebrating anti semitism in New York. This was a
- 27:28Speaker 2: speaker that should have been stopped, in my opinion, should
- 27:31Speaker 2: never have been able to do this in the first place.
- 27:34Speaker 2: But here we are watching at a law school and
- 27:39Speaker 2: again paid for with tax dollars, this type of anti
- 27:42Speaker 2: Semitism being sanctioned by quote higher education.
- 27:47Speaker 4: Well, this woman was the class day speaker at the
- 27:50Speaker 4: graduation of the law school of City University of New York.
- 27:54Speaker 4: And she is from Yemen and grew up in the Bronx,
- 27:58Speaker 4: and she is a hard leftist.
- 28:02Speaker 3: And the speech she gave.
- 28:05Speaker 4: Was virulently uh anti Israel, was slanding, slandering Israel with lies.
- 28:12Speaker 4: She was reveling in anti Semitism, and in a way
- 28:15Speaker 4: that that that there there really is no other bigotry
- 28:18Speaker 4: that that would be as welcome at a college.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Graduation as anti Semitism.
- 28:23Speaker 4: She also, by the way, enthusiastically cheerleads open borders and
- 28:28Speaker 4: releasing violent criminals from jail, and she refers to police
- 28:31Speaker 4: officers as the quote fascist NYPD and and and so
- 28:37Speaker 4: give a listen to to the class day speaker at
- 28:40Speaker 4: the City University of New York at their graduation.
- 28:44Speaker 5: And this moment of celebrating who we are, I want
- 28:47Speaker 5: to celebrate CUNY Law as one of the few, if
- 28:50Speaker 5: not the only, law school to make a public statement
- 28:54Speaker 5: defending the right of its students to organize and speak
- 28:57Speaker 5: out against Israeli settler colonialism.
- 29:09Speaker 1: That this.
- 29:14Speaker 5: That this is the law school that passed and endorsed
- 29:17Speaker 5: VDS on a student and faculty level, recognizing that absent
- 29:25Speaker 5: a critical imperialism, settler colonialism lens our work and this
- 29:29Speaker 5: school's mission statement is void of value. That as Israel
- 29:33Speaker 5: continues to indiscriminately rain bullets and bombs on worshipers, murdering
- 29:39Speaker 5: the old, the young, attacking even funerals and graveyards, as
- 29:43Speaker 5: it encourages lynch mobs to target Palestinian homes and businesses,
- 29:48Speaker 5: as it imprisons its children, as it continues its project
- 29:51Speaker 5: of settler colonialism, expelling Palestinians from their homes, carrying the
- 29:57Speaker 5: ongoing nekba that are silent is that our silence is
- 30:01Speaker 5: no longer acceptable.
- 30:10Speaker 6: We are.
- 30:14Speaker 5: We are the student body and faculty that fought back
- 30:18Speaker 5: when investor focused admin attempted to cross the BDS picket line,
- 30:22Speaker 5: saying loud and clear that Palestine can no longer be
- 30:26Speaker 5: the exception to our pursuit of justice, that our morality
- 30:30Speaker 5: will not be purchased by investors.
- 30:36Speaker 1: We are the class.
- 30:40Speaker 5: We are the class that fought for incarcerated clients and
- 30:44Speaker 5: zealously filed for their clemency applications with nearly zero institutional support.
- 30:52Speaker 5: We are the class that fought for clients to get asylum,
- 30:57Speaker 5: that went to court to reunite families torn apart by
- 31:00Speaker 5: ACS and the family surveillance. We are the class that
- 31:06Speaker 5: organized against using lexus, a legal research company contracted with ICE.
- 31:14Speaker 1: And we did all of this.
- 31:15Speaker 5: In spite of the racism, in spite of the selective activism,
- 31:19Speaker 5: the self serving interests of CUNY Central, and institution that
- 31:23Speaker 5: continues to fail, us that continues to train and cooperate
- 31:26Speaker 5: with the fascist NYPD, the military that continues to train
- 31:31Speaker 5: IDF soldiers to carry out that same violence globally, A
- 31:36Speaker 5: larger institution committed to its donors, not to its student.
- 31:41Speaker 2: I mean, this is a big day on campus. You
- 31:44Speaker 2: can hear the law student's cheeringness. What worries me is
- 31:48Speaker 2: the fact that these are going to be the lawyers
- 31:49Speaker 2: of tomorrow.
- 31:52Speaker 4: Well, and the vicious racism, the anti Semitism that she's viewing.
- 31:57Speaker 3: What she's saying.
- 31:57Speaker 4: About Israel, or blatant lies that the indiscriminated rain bullets
- 32:01Speaker 4: down on people who are worshiping and in prison children
- 32:05Speaker 4: and they kill the young and old alike. That that's
- 32:08Speaker 4: just a wild lie. And and in fact they target terrorists,
- 32:14Speaker 4: they target people who are murdering innocent civilians. The people
- 32:18Speaker 4: who indiscriminately murder civilians are the Palestinian terrorists, the Hamas
- 32:24Speaker 4: and Hezbala terrorists that this speaker is celebrating. By the way,
- 32:28Speaker 4: she made reference to Nakba. Nakba is is the phrase
- 32:33Speaker 4: that that that is used for quote, the Palestinian catastrophe,
- 32:37Speaker 4: which is another phrase for the founding of the modern
- 32:40Speaker 4: state of Israel. She is decrying the fact that Israel exists,
- 32:44Speaker 4: because you know, there are Muslims nations throughout the Middle East.
- 32:47Speaker 4: But she is offended that how dare there be one
- 32:50Speaker 4: nation on earth, a Jewish state, one nation that exists
- 32:54Speaker 4: that is the state of Israel. This speech is so radical,
- 33:00Speaker 4: it is so filled with hate. It's advocating BDS, which
- 33:03Speaker 4: is boycott, divestiture and sanctions, which is anti Semitic and
- 33:07Speaker 4: targeting the state of Israel. If you were a Jewish
- 33:10Speaker 4: student listening to this, listening to this cheering, listening to
- 33:14Speaker 4: these lies, how would you feel graduating from this university?
- 33:18Speaker 4: And by the way, this university is paid for with
- 33:22Speaker 4: taxpayer funds from New York. She also attacks anyone who
- 33:27Speaker 4: works with ICE because apparently the United States cannot enforce
- 33:31Speaker 4: our immigration laws at all, and she calls the NYPD fascist.
- 33:37Speaker 4: Mind you, this is the City University of New York.
- 33:40Speaker 4: Presumably some of these graduates of the law school are
- 33:42Speaker 4: going to go work in the criminal justice system in
- 33:45Speaker 4: New York. And these cheering Marxists believe that being a
- 33:50Speaker 4: police officer means you're a fascist. I got to say,
- 33:54Speaker 4: you want an indictment of how lost so many.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Of our schools are.
- 34:00Speaker 4: Their willingness to revel in lies, anti semitism and radicalism.
- 34:06Speaker 4: That really shows you where they're coming from.
- 34:08Speaker 2: And again this comes back to a funding asue you
- 34:11Speaker 2: mentioned this in your tweet, paid with tax dours. This
- 34:14Speaker 2: is a law school paid with tax dours. Democrats have
- 34:19Speaker 2: no problem spending our money this way. When are conservatives
- 34:22Speaker 2: going to be able to wake up and pull and
- 34:24Speaker 2: realize that these purse strings and our tax stars are
- 34:27Speaker 2: being used to indoctrinate this type of bigotry and anti
- 34:31Speaker 2: semitism enthusiastically with an audience cheering.
- 34:37Speaker 4: Well and listen that that's one of the reasons why
- 34:40Speaker 4: Lee Zelden, the former congressman from New York who ran
- 34:43Speaker 4: for governor in New York and came close but didn't win.
- 34:46Speaker 4: And Lee is a good friend Lise, someone who I
- 34:48Speaker 4: backed and campaigned for when he first ran for Congress.
- 34:52Speaker 4: Lee tweeted this portion of speech out and what he
- 34:55Speaker 4: said was quote raging anti Semitism is fully consumed the
- 34:59Speaker 4: City University of New York until the administration is overhauled
- 35:04Speaker 4: and all Jewish students and faculty are welcome again. Taxpayer
- 35:08Speaker 4: funding must be immediately halted. And when you have a
- 35:12Speaker 4: place that becomes a vicious cesspool of racism and indoctrination,
- 35:18Speaker 4: that that's no longer carrying out an educational mission, that
- 35:22Speaker 4: is instead performing the very same mission of indoctrination, which look,
- 35:28Speaker 4: there's a link between all three of these stories in
- 35:32Speaker 4: this podcast today. Whether it is DHS funding in doctrination
- 35:36Speaker 4: saying if you're a Republican, if you listen to Fox News,
- 35:39Speaker 4: you're connected to the Nazis. Whether it's debate judges saying
- 35:42Speaker 4: if you dare defend America or capitalism, you must lose,
- 35:47Speaker 4: or whether it is the vicious lies coming at the
- 35:50Speaker 4: City University of New York Law School graduation. All three
- 35:55Speaker 4: are examples of how the hard left weaponizes to indoctrinate,
- 36:03Speaker 4: to intimidate, and to silence and attack their opponents.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Yeah, and this goes straight into our last little tidbit here.
- 36:12Speaker 2: If you are a fan of money Python, it's something
- 36:16Speaker 2: that I loved watching in high school. We used to
- 36:19Speaker 2: have watch parties at my friend's house, absolutely hysterical.
- 36:24Speaker 1: We now have a scene that's been banned.
- 36:27Speaker 2: We got to go back and apparently just ban everything
- 36:29Speaker 2: now that we don't like that happened in the past.
- 36:33Speaker 2: I want to play that scene for everybody so you
- 36:35Speaker 2: can hear what they've decided is just too much and
- 36:38Speaker 2: it's got to go. But before we get to that,
- 36:40Speaker 2: let me tell you about a gust of precious metals.
- 36:42Speaker 2: If you have been saving for your retirement, and you
- 36:45Speaker 2: are sick and tired of the stress of seeing what's
- 36:47Speaker 2: happening in the marketplace. You're seeing what's happening with bank failures,
- 36:51Speaker 2: are seeing what's happening with interest rates more than doubling,
- 36:53Speaker 2: and you realize that there is no time to make
- 36:56Speaker 2: up big losses. Then you need to check out a
- 36:59Speaker 2: gust of Pressure Medals and see what they can actually
- 37:01Speaker 2: do for you. If you have saved one hundred thousand

- 37:55Speaker 2: get your free gold coin. That's a Gusta Precious Metals
- 37:58Speaker 2: dot Com. Seven and seven the number four gold i Ra. Senator,
- 38:03Speaker 2: you and I both love uh and and and I
- 38:05Speaker 2: want you to explain if people have never seen Mightey
- 38:09Speaker 2: Python and what it is, explain it for people before
- 38:12Speaker 2: we play this.
- 38:14Speaker 4: Well, this is from the terrific movie Life of Brian
- 38:16Speaker 4: and and and to give a little bit of background,
- 38:18Speaker 4: Life of Brian. Uh, it's a very funny comedy. And
- 38:22Speaker 4: and they're in the process now of putting together a
- 38:25Speaker 4: theatrical presentation of Life of Brian, so basically taking off
- 38:29Speaker 4: the movie screen and doing it on stage. And and
- 38:32Speaker 4: and this is we're closing the podcast with a bit
- 38:35Speaker 4: of good news, which which is that that as they
- 38:38Speaker 4: were putting it on stage, there was enormous pressure to
- 38:42Speaker 4: cut one scene from the movie from the stage protection
- 38:46Speaker 4: and and uh and that was the scene where where
- 38:50Speaker 4: they refer to the obvious fact that men can't have babies.
- 38:53Speaker 4: And so John Cleese, who's one of the founders of
- 38:56Speaker 4: Monty Python and is an extremely funny man John Clease
- 39:00Speaker 4: pointed out that that the actors as they were going
- 39:03Speaker 4: through the stage presentation, the that that that the actors
- 39:08Speaker 4: pressed hard to cut the scene. And several of the actors,
- 39:11Speaker 4: he said, were Tony Winders and Winners, and they said no, no, no,
- 39:14Speaker 4: you can't say this.
- 39:15Speaker 3: You can't say this.
- 39:16Speaker 4: And John Cleese, to his credit, said, I, of course
- 39:19Speaker 4: have no intention of doing so. Look, John Cleaes and
- 39:26Speaker 4: I come from very different places in the political spectrum.
- 39:28Speaker 4: He is left of center. I am not, uh, but
- 39:32Speaker 4: to his credit he believes in number one reality and
- 39:36Speaker 4: number two comedy. And it shows real courage that he says, no,
- 39:39Speaker 4: we're not going to cut the scene.
- 39:41Speaker 3: And and and.
- 39:42Speaker 4: Basically all of you people insisting that I do I'm
- 39:46Speaker 4: paraphrasing here can piss off. And and let's listen to
- 39:50Speaker 4: the scene that that that that virtually every actor in
- 39:54Speaker 4: the stage presentation said we must cut because these words
- 39:59Speaker 4: are too terrible find here in the modern world.
- 40:02Speaker 6: Why are you always on about women? Stan, I want
- 40:06Speaker 6: to be one. What I want to be a woman
- 40:12Speaker 6: from now on. I want you all to call me
- 40:15Speaker 6: Loretta what it's my right as a man. Why do
- 40:21Speaker 6: you want to be Therettistan, I want to have babies.
- 40:27Speaker 6: Do you want to have babies? Is every man's right
- 40:30Speaker 6: to have babies if he wants them, But.
- 40:32Speaker 1: You can't have babies.
- 40:34Speaker 6: Don't you oppress me. I'm not oppressing you.
- 40:36Speaker 1: Stand I've got a womb.
- 40:38Speaker 6: Where's the venus gonna just take? You're gonna keep it
- 40:41Speaker 6: in a box? Yeah, I've got an idea.
- 40:48Speaker 5: Suppose you agree that.
- 40:49Speaker 6: You can't actually have babies.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Not having a womb, which is nobody's fault, not even.
- 40:53Speaker 6: The Romans, but that he can have the right to
- 40:56Speaker 6: have babies. Good idea, Judith, which you'll finally oppressed for
- 41:00Speaker 6: your right have babies.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Baba, sister, I mean, senator, you hear that.
- 41:05Speaker 2: And it's just so frustrating because it's a great bit
- 41:09Speaker 2: and yet people are like, oh, I'm offended by it.
- 41:11Speaker 2: It's also completely in reality and also mocking. I think
- 41:16Speaker 2: what they saw we're going to be coming down the
- 41:18Speaker 2: pipe is that people actually would want to believe this
- 41:20Speaker 2: type of crap, and yet here we are they're saying, oh, well,
- 41:23Speaker 2: I won't do it, I won't touch it. And look,
- 41:25Speaker 2: I'm glad that there's a victory on this one. Thank goodness.
- 41:28Speaker 4: Yeah, shout out to John Clace for having the courage
- 41:31Speaker 4: to defend his art and defend his comedy. If we
- 41:35Speaker 4: have the hard left treating comedy like they treat college debate,
- 41:40Speaker 4: saying you may only say what our doctrine insists, comedy
- 41:45Speaker 4: will cease to be funny and look. I enjoy comedy
- 41:49Speaker 4: that makes fun of both sides of the aisle. I'm
- 41:51Speaker 4: perfectly capable of laughing at Republicans. I think there's a
- 41:54Speaker 4: lot to mock on every place in the political aisle.
- 41:58Speaker 4: But if it gets just sanitize and drained of all life,
- 42:05Speaker 4: then comedy will lose what makes it special. And John
- 42:08Speaker 4: Cleese at least is holding the line.
- 42:10Speaker 3: Bravo.
- 42:11Speaker 1: Yeah, no doubt about it.
