- 0:12Speaker 4: Don't given them back A million.
- 0:16Speaker 5: Bus bus boy, Yeah, listening to show to.
- 0:39Speaker 3: Joy?
- 0:50Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 0:50Speaker 7: Joy, you know I.
- 1:06Speaker 8: Love you. Turn you gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 2: I got to turn the mouth.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Turn. You probably got to turn the mouth the water
- 1:47Speaker 3: the monk.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Come come on, you'll think, huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on,
- 2:07Speaker 2: dig me now for it. Only Steve Harley got a
- 2:10Speaker 2: radio show man instead of trying to be about the business.
- 2:14Speaker 2: To y'all, I'm doing all I can. But you know
- 2:20Speaker 2: what's crazy in the efforts that I make. I can
- 2:24Speaker 2: do more. When my father used to tell me something
- 2:28Speaker 2: when I was growing up, he says, son, when you've
- 2:32Speaker 2: done your best, and you've done all you can, sit
- 2:38Speaker 2: still for a second and just do a little bit more.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Always remember that, he said, When you've done the best
- 2:46Speaker 2: you can and you can done all you can think of,
- 2:49Speaker 2: he say, sit still for a minute and do some more.
- 2:53Speaker 2: And you know what I've discovered in my life, always
- 2:55Speaker 2: have a little more. I ain't ever just out out completely.
- 3:00Speaker 2: I can't take another step there ain't another breath in me.
- 3:04Speaker 2: The ain't another thought I can produce. I'm never completely out, man.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Just take a rest for a minute, man, and then
- 3:13Speaker 2: just do a little bit more. And I can't tell
- 3:16Speaker 2: you how many times that's helped me get over the top.
- 3:21Speaker 2: You know, I was watching a documentary about people climbing
- 3:24Speaker 2: Mount Everest and how difficult climbing Mount Everest was, and
- 3:28Speaker 2: how they have on the hill something called like a
- 3:32Speaker 2: death zone or a killing zone, where the majority of
- 3:35Speaker 2: people run out of oxygen and they have to turn back. Well,
- 3:40Speaker 2: what's crazy is it's right in view of the summit.
- 3:44Speaker 2: You can actually see the top of Mount Everest from there,
- 3:49Speaker 2: but it's that little bit that's left that's just most difficult. Now,
- 3:54Speaker 2: I forgot all the reasons why they said most people
- 3:56Speaker 2: don't make it from there, and more people have lost
- 3:59Speaker 2: their lives that area. I don't know what it is,
- 4:02Speaker 2: but the people that make it to the top of
- 4:06Speaker 2: Mount efforts. They all had to go through that same
- 4:09Speaker 2: zone of that same area, but they had a little
- 4:14Speaker 2: bit more that allowed them to get to the top.
- 4:18Speaker 2: You know, a lot of people have had accidents up
- 4:20Speaker 2: there trying that. So I'm not even really sure if
- 4:22Speaker 2: Mount Everest analogy is a good one. But let's just
- 4:27Speaker 2: break it down a little bit more. Let's just talk
- 4:29Speaker 2: about life. There's a poem I learned back when the
- 4:34Speaker 2: host pledging. It's called don't Quit. It goes like this,
- 4:37Speaker 2: If I make a mistake, I'm just trying to drum
- 4:40Speaker 2: it up, So here we go. It says, when things
- 4:42Speaker 2: go wrong, as they sometimes will, when the roads you're
- 4:45Speaker 2: trudging seems all uphill, when your funds are low and
- 4:50Speaker 2: your debts are high, when you want to smile, but
- 4:54Speaker 2: you have to sigh when cares are pressing you down.
- 4:58Speaker 2: A bit, rest if you must, but don't quit, for
- 5:03Speaker 2: life is queer with his twisting turns, as every one
- 5:06Speaker 2: of us must sometimes learn. And many a fellow has
- 5:10Speaker 2: turned about when he might have won had he stuck
- 5:14Speaker 2: it out. So don't give up. Though the pace seems slow,
- 5:18Speaker 2: you may succeed with another blow. Often the gold is
- 5:24Speaker 2: nearer than it seems to a faint and a faltering man.
- 5:29Speaker 2: And often the struggler has given up when he might
- 5:32Speaker 2: have captured the victor's cup, And he learns too late,
- 5:36Speaker 2: when the night came down, how close he was to
- 5:40Speaker 2: the golden crown. Success is failure turned inside out. It's
- 5:47Speaker 2: your silver tin of your clouds of doubt, and you
- 5:51Speaker 2: never can tell how close you are. It may be
- 5:54Speaker 2: nil when it seems afar. So stick to the fight
- 6:00Speaker 2: when your hardest hits, when things seem worse, that you
- 6:04Speaker 2: mustn't quit. I remember it because I had a special
- 6:08Speaker 2: method of helping you remember stuff back then. But I
- 6:11Speaker 2: remembered it, and that point right there has kept me.
- 6:15Speaker 2: You know, we often talk about scripture and everything, and
- 6:18Speaker 2: then I don't see how I could live without it.
- 6:21Speaker 2: But every now and then, man, somebody has a writing.
- 6:24Speaker 2: God puts a writing on somebody's heart that delivers a
- 6:27Speaker 2: message man, that can help people. I use every motivational
- 6:30Speaker 2: tool that I possibly can to climb this letter of
- 6:33Speaker 2: success or try to be the best father and the
- 6:36Speaker 2: best husband I can be. I've done a lot of
- 6:38Speaker 2: changing over the years, and so have you. But change
- 6:41Speaker 2: is necessary in order to grow. If you don't make changes, folks,
- 6:45Speaker 2: you can't grow. I was a young man on my set.
- 6:49Speaker 2: I kept looking at him, and a sharp little young
- 6:51Speaker 2: dude just on my set, and he had these dreads,
- 6:56Speaker 2: and I mean they was super long. Man. They will
- 7:01Speaker 2: well below the middle of his back. I mean, it
- 7:03Speaker 2: was just long. And he kept talking to me, and
- 7:05Speaker 2: he kept talking to me and talking to me. So
- 7:08Speaker 2: young man kept talking to me, and I said, hey, man,
- 7:10Speaker 2: you know, you do your a huge self of favor
- 7:13Speaker 2: in the business you're in. If you got a haircut,
- 7:16Speaker 2: you would do yourself a huge favor. I said, your
- 7:19Speaker 2: image is everything. Man, I said, you keep stopping me
- 7:21Speaker 2: in the hallway to try to tell me what you're doing,
- 7:23Speaker 2: what you are, but all I see is your hair. Now,
- 7:26Speaker 2: I keep trying to figure out what you're doing with
- 7:27Speaker 2: all that hair. Man, Now you can feel how you
- 7:30Speaker 2: want to feel. But I'm like an employer. I employed people.
- 7:35Speaker 2: So when I'm walking through the hallway and I try
- 7:37Speaker 2: to think of you traveling with me and you sitting
- 7:40Speaker 2: in a meeting with me, I try to imagine you
- 7:42Speaker 2: and your suit sitting there talking business with me. And so,
- 7:46Speaker 2: just like other employers are, I'm just having a real
- 7:49Speaker 2: story with you. So I said, man, you ought to
- 7:51Speaker 2: consider cutting your hair. He said, Man, mister habb, I've
- 7:55Speaker 2: been growing his hair sound as a little boy. I said,
- 7:58Speaker 2: how old are you now? He said twenty eight? I said, well,
- 8:01Speaker 2: how long you want to hang on to what you
- 8:03Speaker 2: was when you was a little boy? You know, if
- 8:05Speaker 2: you started growing your hair when you're a teenager. I mean,
- 8:07Speaker 2: you're twenty eight now. And I said, so let me
- 8:10Speaker 2: help you understand something. Let me let me ask you something.
- 8:13Speaker 2: What does it do for you? He said, Man, it's
- 8:16Speaker 2: just who I am. It's I said, so you your have
- 8:21Speaker 2: He said, no, no, but it's a part of me.
- 8:24Speaker 2: I say, that part of you that you're hanging on to.
- 8:27Speaker 2: What does it do for you? I just like it? Well, dog,
- 8:32Speaker 2: I like ice cream, but I feed that. But if
- 8:34Speaker 2: I hang on the ice cream and eat ice cream
- 8:36Speaker 2: every single day, my body gonna reflect that. What is
- 8:40Speaker 2: it that you hanging on to that you don't want
- 8:43Speaker 2: to let go of? That's prohibiting you from being what
- 8:45Speaker 2: all you can be? See, it's hard to be what
- 8:48Speaker 2: all you can be if you want to keep being
- 8:50Speaker 2: all you was? Don't that make sense to you?
- 8:55Speaker 1: So I can't tell.
- 8:56Speaker 2: You how many times I've had to change. Change is
- 8:59Speaker 2: necessary to grow. You can't be all you can be
- 9:05Speaker 2: if you want to keep hanging on to all you was.
- 9:09Speaker 2: That don't make no sense. How do you go forward?
- 9:13Speaker 2: If you keep going backwards. You can't stay here and
- 9:17Speaker 2: go there. Do you understand that if you want to
- 9:21Speaker 2: go over there, you must remove yourself from right here?
- 9:26Speaker 3: Oh?
- 9:27Speaker 2: I got right here is comfortable, I got right here
- 9:30Speaker 2: is safe. But over there is where the shade is
- 9:33Speaker 2: over There's where the fruit is. Over there is where
- 9:37Speaker 2: the opportunity is. Over there is where the mountain of
- 9:41Speaker 2: goal is. So why you stuck on here? You got
- 9:46Speaker 2: to leave here to go over there. You can't be
- 9:49Speaker 2: all you can be if you want to stay stuck
- 9:52Speaker 2: on who you was. Change is growth is necessary. All
- 9:55Speaker 2: let's go.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, all animal trainers, anybody
- 10:08Speaker 2: who has ever driven a vehicle of any kind, all
- 10:11Speaker 2: of you who have learned how to ride bicycles, any
- 10:14Speaker 2: of you who have any schooling at all, anybody who
- 10:19Speaker 2: knows ABC's, anybody who has ever gotten a paycheck, anybody
- 10:26Speaker 2: that's ever been unemployed, anybody that's ever had a divorce,
- 10:30Speaker 2: anybody that's ever been married and wanted a divorce, anybody
- 10:33Speaker 2: who's sitting in a relationship thinking about a divorce, and
- 10:37Speaker 2: anybody who is happy Welcome to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:45Speaker 2: That aught to just about cover quite a lot of people.
- 10:47Speaker 2: If you ain't never rode a bike before I drove
- 10:49Speaker 2: a car, this is not for you. But then you
- 10:52Speaker 2: could just be happy. This is for you. So this
- 10:56Speaker 2: is it, This is how we do it today. Be
- 10:58Speaker 2: grateful today, y'all start to day with gratitude. It will
- 11:00Speaker 2: affect your attitude, which has a direct correlation to your altitude.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Always remember that Shirley Strawberry calling for real Mississippi Monica
- 11:10Speaker 2: Junior and the legend that is nephew Tommy Junior, tight
- 11:14Speaker 2: hat Jackson. What's going on? All right?
- 11:19Speaker 1: Let me let me ask you this. Uh.
- 11:21Speaker 9: A lot of people have a lot of what ifs
- 11:23Speaker 9: about their life, like what if this happened?
- 11:25Speaker 1: What if this?
- 11:25Speaker 2: And what if?
- 11:26Speaker 1: What do you tell them?
- 11:27Speaker 2: Uncle?
- 11:28Speaker 1: How do you how do you get them to focus
- 11:29Speaker 1: on the positive?
- 11:31Speaker 2: Well? What if causes anxiety? And anxiety is is the
- 11:35Speaker 2: concern of two things that you have no control over,
- 11:39Speaker 2: your past and your and your future. Once you belabor
- 11:43Speaker 2: the point of either one of those and you become
- 11:47Speaker 2: overly concerned about that if I hadn't did this, what
- 11:51Speaker 2: if I do this? Well if I you know, I
- 11:53Speaker 2: wish I hadn't did this, But suppose this happened, what
- 11:56Speaker 2: would I do? Listen, that over concern causes anxiety. Anxiety
- 12:04Speaker 2: robs you of your current chance at peace. If you
- 12:10Speaker 2: want to strip yourself of peace, concern yourself with yesterday
- 12:16Speaker 2: or tomorrow, and watch what happened. Watch what happened, see yesterday. See.
- 12:22Speaker 2: The good thing about the past is that you should
- 12:26Speaker 2: leave it there. You only use the past as a
- 12:30Speaker 2: reference of something that happens in your current day, so
- 12:35Speaker 2: you have a track record and experience of what happened.
- 12:39Speaker 2: That's the only purpose for the past. It helps me.
- 12:43Speaker 2: My past has helped me not repeat the same mistake.
- 12:47Speaker 2: My past has taught me so many valuable lessons. I
- 12:51Speaker 2: use that experience in my current decisions today. That is
- 12:56Speaker 2: the purpose of the past. If you are hanging on
- 12:59Speaker 2: to a pin in the past, you are doing your
- 13:03Speaker 2: future no justice none and you are currently robbing yourself
- 13:09Speaker 2: of peace in the present. So don't what if yourself
- 13:13Speaker 2: to death? What if I had done this? What if
- 13:15Speaker 2: this happened to marrow? Don't do that to youself. You
- 13:19Speaker 2: don't know what tomorrow gonna bring. No one knows because
- 13:22Speaker 2: when it gets here, how many times have you wondered
- 13:25Speaker 2: about something and then when tomorrow got here was totally different,
- 13:28Speaker 2: I mean completely different that peace robbing killed yourself. I'll
- 13:35Speaker 2: have a great day today, y'all.
- 13:37Speaker 10: All right, coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:39Speaker 10: we will hear from a nephew as it runs that
- 13:42Speaker 10: brank back right after this.
- 13:44Speaker 11: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Hey everyone, quick health question.
- 13:53Speaker 10: Even though you're still thriving, still loving, still connecting, did
- 13:57Speaker 10: you know your immune system weakens with age. That's where
- 14:00Speaker 10: vaccines come in. They help train and strengthen your immune
- 14:03Speaker 10: response to fight off certain respiratory illnesses like fluke new Macaco, pneumonia, RSV,
- 14:09Speaker 10: and COVID nineteen this fall, ask your doctor which vaccines
- 14:13Speaker 10: you need and visit vaccisist dot com that's vaexsist dot
- 14:17Speaker 10: com to schedule one or more of vaccines sponsored by Pfizer.
- 14:22Speaker 10: It is time now to run that prank back with
- 14:24Speaker 10: the nephew.
- 14:24Speaker 12: What you got for his ne f I got it

- 15:38Speaker 14: Yes, I think he would be a great, great employee.
- 15:40Speaker 13: Okay, you've been with the company. How long?

- 15:49Speaker 13: right right, going on seventeen. Okay, you've been with us
- 15:52Speaker 13: quite a while. And well, first of all, let you

- 15:59Speaker 14: it the company man, and you know being here to
- 16:02Speaker 14: eat many years man, he let.

- 16:06Speaker 13: got a few adjustments we're gonna be making out there
- 16:09Speaker 13: on the plant. Here's what we're gonna do now, he's
- 16:12Speaker 13: say gonna be done in about a week or two, Yes,
- 16:14Speaker 13: about a week. Okay, here's here's what we're gonna do

- 16:21Speaker 13: you definitely know he's ready for everything. I'm gonna want
- 16:25Speaker 13: you to give him your key card as well as
- 16:28Speaker 13: the key to your office. I'm gonna want you to
- 16:32Speaker 13: give him your key card that gets you actually onto
- 16:35Speaker 13: the property. And and you have you have your own
- 16:37Speaker 13: parking space too, don't you, Yes, I do. Okay, Now
- 16:42Speaker 13: we're gonna need you to give your key card and

- 17:26Speaker 13: That's all right.

- 17:31Speaker 14: got seventeen years. Ain't nobody fit to sign me, not
- 17:34Speaker 14: a place to move. You got to understand that part. Now,
- 17:37Speaker 14: I got seventeen years up in here and chain a
- 17:40Speaker 14: young guy and this guy got a couple months and
- 17:41Speaker 14: you're talking to every wanted to do what to me?
- 17:43Speaker 1: Move me?
- 17:44Speaker 13: And they said this is a temporary move. We're gonna
- 17:46Speaker 13: find something better for you.
- 17:47Speaker 14: No, you ain't know what this is the project? Man,
- 17:49Speaker 14: ain't nobody do the movin?
- 17:51Speaker 13: Please?
- 17:51Speaker 14: Got that understanding.
- 17:52Speaker 13: This has come from the head and on the head.
- 17:54Speaker 14: And I'm like, wholl me what this head is? I
- 17:57Speaker 14: know the head?
- 17:58Speaker 13: This decision actually come from the vice preser.
- 18:00Speaker 14: No, they ain't told me none of that. It comes
- 18:01Speaker 14: to me first.
- 18:02Speaker 13: I'll tell you what, Jason, this is something I'm supposed
- 18:04Speaker 13: to probably not tell you. But let me let me
- 18:06Speaker 13: let you in on a little something.
- 18:07Speaker 14: Yeah, let me hand on something because this is gonna
- 18:09Speaker 14: be some bull him because I checked the whole place

- 18:11Speaker 13: I mean, let me explain something to you, Jason. This
- 18:13Speaker 13: young guy that you've been training, he is actually the
- 18:17Speaker 13: nephew of the vice president.
- 18:18Speaker 14: I don't give a about no nephew or no vice
- 18:21Speaker 14: president mine. Do you think I care about some president?
- 18:23Speaker 14: Tell him? Tell the president I said what I said him?
- 18:27Speaker 15: And the next you?
- 18:27Speaker 14: Who cared about the next you? They ain't never told
- 18:29Speaker 14: me none of this.
- 18:30Speaker 13: Okay, Well, can I expect you to give your key
- 18:33Speaker 13: over to him.

- 22:28Speaker 10: with our Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 22:32Speaker 10: This is from Chris in Flint, Chris Wrights. I put
- 22:35Speaker 10: a bunch of meat on the grill before I took
- 22:37Speaker 10: my son to practice. I got home and my in
- 22:41Speaker 10: laws were there and we're raving about how good my
- 22:45Speaker 10: ribs were. I barely had any meat left. My wife
- 22:49Speaker 10: can't understand why I'm mad? Why does she allow this?
- 22:52Speaker 2: What the decent thing would at least save some for
- 22:57Speaker 2: your husband. House is your husband's house. You can't let
- 23:02Speaker 2: your in laws come over there and get in front
- 23:04Speaker 2: of your man. So you should have saved something for
- 23:07Speaker 2: your man. That's that's a fact. Hey, hey, hey, Steve cook,
- 23:13Speaker 2: these ribs. Take a quarter slab that's for Steve. Half
- 23:18Speaker 2: slab that's for Steve. That's fair. So yeah, she should
- 23:21Speaker 2: have she should have not allowed them to eat all
- 23:24Speaker 2: of it.
- 23:25Speaker 1: That's right.
- 23:26Speaker 12: Who had the audacity to open my grill and take
- 23:30Speaker 12: the stuff off of the in laws?
- 23:33Speaker 2: You knows that stay daughter house. That's how they.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Looked at it, right, all right?
- 23:38Speaker 10: Moving on to Wanda is serious. Yeah, the grillers perked
- 23:43Speaker 10: up on this one, didn't I. Yeah, Wanda in paradise, right.
- 23:46Speaker 10: My boyfriend moved in with me, and I thought, you know,
- 23:50Speaker 10: he would at least pay the utilities. He said, we
- 23:53Speaker 10: didn't have that agreement before he moved in, so he's
- 23:57Speaker 10: not responsible for my bills my house is does he
- 24:01Speaker 10: have a valid argument or not?
- 24:03Speaker 2: No? No, he doesn't have a valid argument. And you're
- 24:06Speaker 2: stupid for allowing a man to move in and live
- 24:09Speaker 2: off you. How does this work? What do you mean
- 24:12Speaker 2: we didn't have that agreement before? Where is his honor?
- 24:17Speaker 2: Where's the character in this guy? You've married a man
- 24:20Speaker 2: who doesn't have character? I mean you've I mean you've
- 24:23Speaker 2: you've You've allowed a man to move into your house
- 24:26Speaker 2: that doesn't have character. What do you even talk? Does
- 24:29Speaker 2: he have a valid point? Put him out? Put him out?
- 24:34Speaker 2: How you're gonna move in on the woman? And you
- 24:36Speaker 2: ain't gonna handle the bills? She'd have bought the house.
- 24:40Speaker 2: And now you're in here talking about you ain't that
- 24:42Speaker 2: was now agreement?
- 24:43Speaker 6: Man?
- 24:44Speaker 2: So what you in here for? So he get everything
- 24:46Speaker 2: he want? You? You sleeping with him, Yeah, cuddling with him,
- 24:51Speaker 2: spooning with him, cooking for him, in the words of
- 24:55Speaker 2: my grandmama, lapping on him. And now and now what?
- 25:00Speaker 2: And now what? He He ain't got nothing on lights?
- 25:03Speaker 13: Girl?
- 25:04Speaker 2: Why are you in here? That makes no sense? How
- 25:08Speaker 2: did you let a man move in? And y'all ain't
- 25:13Speaker 2: have no rules? See that's what's wrong.
- 25:15Speaker 6: Man.
- 25:16Speaker 2: I'll keep doing stuff without without talking it out. Now
- 25:20Speaker 2: he in here talking about he That was no agreement.
- 25:23Speaker 2: What kind of bumb person is this?
- 25:26Speaker 1: Get out?
- 25:27Speaker 2: He's just an indecent human being.
- 25:30Speaker 8: Man.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Put this dude out and and quit seeing him.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, great advice, Celo.
- 25:37Speaker 12: Uh.
- 25:37Speaker 10: Moving on to Gabe and Schomberg, Gabe writes, I was
- 25:40Speaker 10: having sex with one of my longtime friends and I
- 25:43Speaker 10: noticed that she was recording us. She said that she
- 25:46Speaker 10: records us all of the time. I asked her to
- 25:49Speaker 10: delete the videos. We're both married, so why would she
- 25:52Speaker 10: record us? Can she be trusted?
- 25:56Speaker 2: What can she be trusted? You don't understand what this
- 26:01Speaker 2: is gonna be. See this is this is called blackmail extortion.
- 26:09Speaker 2: We both married. I record us all the time. I
- 26:13Speaker 2: asked her to delete it. I'm not asking you not.
- 26:15Speaker 2: I'm taking all the phones, all the phone going to
- 26:17Speaker 2: the house with me, all of them all.
- 26:24Speaker 6: Take her.
- 26:26Speaker 12: We've putting the phones in the garden. Supposed we ain't
- 26:28Speaker 12: taken to the all these phones. There ain't none of
- 26:31Speaker 12: this getting out. Can she be trusted?
- 26:34Speaker 2: No?
- 26:37Speaker 1: Wow?
- 26:42Speaker 9: Yeah, but it ain't in a mirror and you moving.
- 26:50Speaker 2: All right, what is that?
- 26:55Speaker 1: This is so crazy? That is so crazy?
- 26:59Speaker 2: All right?
- 27:00Speaker 10: Last one, Coelo. This is from Alison in the Bronx.
- 27:04Speaker 10: Alison writes, my husband told me that from now on
- 27:07Speaker 10: he will decide when we have sex, and he will
- 27:11Speaker 10: initiate it. He said he is tired of me being
- 27:14Speaker 10: aggressive with him and it makes him feel like the wife.
- 27:18Speaker 10: So her question is, so men don't want women to
- 27:22Speaker 10: initiate sex or is it just him?
- 27:25Speaker 1: She wants to?
- 27:26Speaker 2: Not the way you've been doing.
- 27:27Speaker 1: It's too aggressive.
- 27:30Speaker 7: Doing.
- 27:31Speaker 1: What has she been doing?
- 27:32Speaker 8: No?
- 27:33Speaker 2: Excuse me? Wait this a woman talking to here?
- 27:37Speaker 1: Open they make it sound any better.
- 27:41Speaker 2: I don't care none about that TV being old. You
- 27:42Speaker 2: ain't watching no more games? You can watch this. Shut up?
- 27:49Speaker 2: What is you crying for? Your little pump behind?
- 27:55Speaker 1: Lay down?
- 28:06Speaker 2: She shut your little simple self up. My mama told
- 28:13Speaker 2: me you was gonna be like this.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Your mama.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Are you done?
- 28:24Speaker 1: That's that's the last one. But what is he doing
- 28:28Speaker 1: while she's doing all of that?
- 28:30Speaker 8: He cry?
- 28:32Speaker 2: Baby? Hold on? I don't want you your lip right now?
- 28:35Speaker 2: Come on your lip? You know? Baby? Baby? Hold up? Baby?
- 28:41Speaker 2: Hold up? The game on, baby, baby, the game on,
- 28:49Speaker 2: baby baby.
- 28:50Speaker 16: Everybody looking everybody's looking.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Yeah, he got you know, the fellas is over for
- 28:58Speaker 2: the game. She she just on just letting him have it.
- 29:02Speaker 16: What about what about the fight part?
- 29:06Speaker 2: Baby, baby, baby baby? This is just the second round
- 29:10Speaker 2: crawlfeted winning. I don't want no left dance.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Right is too aggressive?
- 29:19Speaker 2: Yeah, that's way too much. Hey, hey, man, what y'all
- 29:24Speaker 2: looking at?
- 29:24Speaker 3: Man?
- 29:24Speaker 2: She just playing.
- 29:29Speaker 10: But her question is, so this is most men she
- 29:33Speaker 10: wants to know. Don't so men don't want women to
- 29:35Speaker 10: initiate sex?
- 29:36Speaker 1: Or is it just him?
- 29:37Speaker 2: No, we don't mind that at all. It's just obviously
- 29:40Speaker 2: you have been too much. Well, he got to come
- 29:45Speaker 2: in the house after work one day and just sit down. Baby.
- 29:48Speaker 2: From now on, listen to me. I decide when we
- 29:52Speaker 2: have sick.
- 29:54Speaker 1: These are the rule.
- 29:55Speaker 2: I decide whom we're gonna have sex. You're gonna stop
- 30:00Speaker 2: while he's treating me coming here. Don't tear my shirt off?
- 30:04Speaker 2: And he really got no buttons on six shirts?
- 30:06Speaker 1: Six got my work shirt.
- 30:09Speaker 2: This zip was on the work uniform I got to
- 30:12Speaker 2: go to I gotta go to work. I got full
- 30:15Speaker 2: work uniforms. All them zip was gone and I got
- 30:17Speaker 2: safe depends on these zipping I stuck the surf Fridy
- 30:20Speaker 2: trying to use the bathroom. We don't stop all this.
- 30:24Speaker 1: All right, Clo, thank you.

- 32:22Speaker 10: and return in February.
- 32:24Speaker 1: There have been.
- 32:25Speaker 10: Fashion highlights from various designers and trends and social media.
- 32:29Speaker 10: So Steve, you know we all everybody calls you blue
- 32:32Speaker 10: cheese because you be dressing.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Can you give the men out there? Fall is coming
- 32:37Speaker 1: up this month?
- 32:38Speaker 10: Any any fall fresh fashion tips, any trends to look
- 32:42Speaker 10: out for.
- 32:43Speaker 13: No.
- 32:43Speaker 2: I think I think what is happened in men's fashions
- 32:45Speaker 2: now is a good thing. I see more men dressing
- 32:48Speaker 2: up now. It's less sag and less giant sized T shirts.
- 32:53Speaker 2: It's moke cats, even the young hip hop artists. They
- 32:57Speaker 2: coming to the ward shows dressed in some pretty fly stuff.
- 33:01Speaker 2: I'm watching the basketball players come down through the tunnels.
- 33:05Speaker 2: A lot of these cats be But you know, I
- 33:08Speaker 2: watched the girls in the ND the W n b
- 33:10Speaker 2: A come down the hallways. They bringing fire down there now,
- 33:14Speaker 2: So I think fashion is in a good place right now.
- 33:17Speaker 2: I think the young people and then got that torch
- 33:19Speaker 2: and they running with it kind of nice. You know,
- 33:22Speaker 2: it's still some foods out there that ain't quite caught on,
- 33:24Speaker 2: but you know you're gonna get blowed over with the
- 33:27Speaker 2: good news. So I loved what Angel Reese and whatever
- 33:32Speaker 2: the other lady that was with her hat on at
- 33:35Speaker 2: the Canelo uh uh Crawford fight, they was dressed.
- 33:43Speaker 10: So does it make you feel a certain way to
- 33:45Speaker 10: have been an influence to these young people that are
- 33:48Speaker 10: coming up? The young guys, because every you know, a
- 33:50Speaker 10: lot of people refer to you and you're.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Well, I mean some people have given me credit for it.
- 33:55Speaker 2: I don't take none myself, because I just let other
- 33:57Speaker 2: people do that. Because the moment you raise your hand,
- 34:00Speaker 2: here come the hater. So I ain't saying nothing you know,
- 34:03Speaker 2: but I've been dressing for a long time. But see
- 34:06Speaker 2: when I first was famous for suiting, it was because
- 34:09Speaker 2: I wore an urban wear and I was I went
- 34:12Speaker 2: against the curve back in the nineties and the eighties.
- 34:17Speaker 2: You know, I was the reason that what you saw
- 34:20Speaker 2: of the NBA draft and the NFL draft and Jordan
- 34:25Speaker 2: and Magic wearing the big suits. They told me, hey man,
- 34:29Speaker 2: we would get home to watch the Apollo to see
- 34:32Speaker 2: what you had on. I would. When I was wearing
- 34:34Speaker 2: Barbara Bates suits out of Chicago, that was the urban culture,
- 34:41Speaker 2: all them suits. I wore my comedy specials, Kings of Comedy,
- 34:44Speaker 2: that was urban special And then I got out of
- 34:48Speaker 2: that and started changing. I think the change of the
- 34:50Speaker 2: past four years five years was probably the biggest change
- 34:55Speaker 2: I had made. And then so you know, I mean,
- 35:00Speaker 2: good for me, how people feel about it. There's something
- 35:04Speaker 2: coming out. I can't say it right now, but something
- 35:07Speaker 2: is coming out soon.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Your slash what's going on?
- 35:12Speaker 2: What's happening?
- 35:13Speaker 13: No?
- 35:14Speaker 2: See what I ain't finna? Do you know why? Your voice?
- 35:20Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 35:22Speaker 2: I'm not gonna just blow my own hond You know
- 35:24Speaker 2: I've been flying you know what I'm saying. Somebody saying
- 35:29Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying.
- 35:30Speaker 1: All right, please long good?
- 35:32Speaker 2: You know leaving and I've been here, you know?
- 35:36Speaker 1: Yeah? All right, Carla step on in here with your
- 35:40Speaker 1: music news shall I shall thank you, Charley Girl.
- 35:44Speaker 2: The countdown is on.
- 35:46Speaker 16: The iHeartRadio Music Festival is happening September nineteenth and twentieth
- 35:51Speaker 16: in Las Vegas at the T Mobile Arena, and that's

- 56:41Speaker 2: you here. It is the Strawberry Letter.
- 56:44Speaker 10: Subject he tells his mama everything. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm
- 56:48Speaker 10: a twenty eight year old woman that justy loped with
- 56:51Speaker 10: the love of my life. We dated for seven years
- 56:54Speaker 10: and we did not want to waste money on a
- 56:56Speaker 10: big wedding, so we eloped and had a nice ceremony.
- 57:00Speaker 10: I also wanted to elope so my husband's mom wouldn't
- 57:03Speaker 10: be all in the mix trying to tell us what
- 57:05Speaker 10: to do. She's the reason that I waited so long
- 57:08Speaker 10: to get married. She's a meddler and a gossiper. And
- 57:12Speaker 10: it's not really her fault because my husband tells her
- 57:15Speaker 10: everything I do. It's been going on since we started
- 57:18Speaker 10: dating seven years ago, and we fight about his mother
- 57:21Speaker 10: all the time. Back when we first had sex, he
- 57:25Speaker 10: told his mother and she told my mother. My mother
- 57:28Speaker 10: was hurt. My husband and I broke up twice before
- 57:31Speaker 10: we got married because his mom said I was two
- 57:33Speaker 10: into sex after he told her that my sex drive
- 57:36Speaker 10: is very high. The second time we broke up, he
- 57:40Speaker 10: told his mother that I was considering dyeing my hair blonde,
- 57:43Speaker 10: and his mother called me and said, that's not a
- 57:45Speaker 10: classy color for a black girl.
- 57:48Speaker 1: I started making up stuff.
- 57:50Speaker 10: Just so just to see how much of a mama's
- 57:53Speaker 10: boy he was being, and he fell right into the trap.
- 57:57Speaker 10: I told him I was behind in my student loan pay,
- 58:00Speaker 10: and he told his mama. She called me and asked
- 58:03Speaker 10: if I was having money problems and suggested that I
- 58:06Speaker 10: get a second job so I could pay my bills.
- 58:09Speaker 10: I'd had enough and I decided to fight fire with fire.
- 58:13Speaker 10: I told his mom that he's experiencing ED so we
- 58:17Speaker 10: have not had sex in over three weeks. His mama
- 58:20Speaker 10: called him and he was fuming mad at me and
- 58:23Speaker 10: said I shouldn't have told his mama his business. Oh really,
- 58:27Speaker 10: he has avoided me the past few days. But we
- 58:30Speaker 10: need to have a discussion about his mama and her
- 58:33Speaker 10: never ending mess. How do I get him to stop
- 58:36Speaker 10: telling his mama everything? Please help? I think you asked
- 58:41Speaker 10: a little late for all of this. You're married now,
- 58:44Speaker 10: His mama is his mama, and she's been allowed to
- 58:48Speaker 10: be all up in the mix for seven years. Okay,
- 58:51Speaker 10: she's not going to change that.
- 58:53Speaker 1: This is a monster your mama's boy husband created and
- 58:57Speaker 1: there are no boundaries with him or her.
- 59:00Speaker 10: I mean you saw that seven years ago. He tells
- 59:02Speaker 10: her everything and then she goes and runs her mouth.
- 59:05Speaker 10: I mean, honestly, I'm really surprised that you married into this.
- 59:09Speaker 10: You said you waited to marry him for seven years
- 59:12Speaker 10: because of his mama and her mouth, but she's.
- 59:15Speaker 1: Still doing it. So what was a seven year wait for?
- 59:19Speaker 1: She has not changed. You could have married him seven
- 59:22Speaker 1: years ago and gotten the same thing, the same, very
- 59:24Speaker 1: same thing as you got now. The only time you
- 59:28Speaker 1: break up now, think about this. You said that in
- 59:30Speaker 1: a letter you broke up twice. The only time you
- 59:31Speaker 1: broke up was because of his mom getting into his business.
- 59:35Speaker 10: I'm still trying to figure out why you thought it
- 59:37Speaker 10: would be different now because he put a ring on it. No,
- 59:42Speaker 10: this situation is stupid. He I just think he is
- 59:47Speaker 10: and always will be a mama's boy who hasn't learned
- 59:50Speaker 10: to put his wife first. And that's the problem.
- 59:54Speaker 1: And mom is just doing mom, She's just doing her.
- 59:58Speaker 10: This marriage is not going to last unless you and
- 1:00:00Speaker 10: your husband present some sort of united front to his
- 1:00:04Speaker 10: mother so she'll know that she needs to butt out
- 1:00:08Speaker 10: of your marriage, plain and simple, Steve.
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: Everything Shirley said is true. It's not a lot I
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: can add to this, but you know I will. But
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: you know, because I like see, I like little bitty stuff.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: The fact that you eloped says it all right there.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: And the reason you elope is because his mother is
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: messy and you ain't want up in your business. Now,
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: you obviously love this dude, because y'all have been dating
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: seven years, but you Elope, you had a nice little ceremony.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: Now she's a meddler gospel. But it's not her fault
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: because my husband tells her everything. See, this whole letter
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: really has nothing to do with her. This letter is
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: about you the writer and your husband, the mama's boy,
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: because that's all he is. He's a mama's boy. Now,
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: at the end of your letter, you say, how do
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: I get him to stop telling his mama every Now
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: it's gonna be hard. It's really really going to be
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: hard because he's a mama's boy and he's been one
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: for at least you say you're twenty eight. Let's just
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: say y'all the same age. He's twenty eight and y'all
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: been together seven years. He's been a mama's boy for
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: about twenty eight years the whole time. Yeah, so it's
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: hard to disengage or get a person to resind all
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: these thoughts he's been having for twenty eight years. He's
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: a mama's boy. Let me just go through a couple
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: of things. He was right here. Y'all fight about his
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: mama all the time because he defends her because he's
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: a mama's boy. So then he told you he told
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: his mother that when y'all finally had sex, who do that?
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: Me and my mama have never bud discussed sex ever.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: We didn't have the birds and the bees conversation. But
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: Daddy came and gave that to me. It was short,
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: it was to the point, and it was not clinical.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: I would love to have heard that.
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: I can't repeat nothing he told me.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: I believe it.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: That was my sex education talk with my daddy. Ruler
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: threw me into something about twelve thirteen. You know back
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: then that was that was clinic.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Yeah, hold that thought, Steve.
- 1:03:02Speaker 10: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:03:04Speaker 10: twenty three minutes after the hour Today's Strawberry Letter. He
- 1:03:07Speaker 10: tells his mama everything. We'll get back into it right
- 1:03:10Speaker 10: after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:03:51Speaker 1: All right, come on, stevelet threecap today's strawberry letter subject.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: He tells his mama everything.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: You didn't marry the mama's boy. Now, you waited seven
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: years to man because his mama's always met this. So
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: y'all eloped so she wouldn't be up in your bussiness.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: She had a nice little ceremony, but your husband tells
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: her stuff all the time, and all y'all do is
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: fight about her. Back when y'all first had sex, he
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: told his mother. His mama got on the phone, call
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: your mama. Your mother was hurt. Y'all broke up twice
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: before y'all got married because his mama said I was
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: two into sex after he told her my sex drive
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: is hot. What boy goes in there talking to his
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: mama about his girlfriend's sex drive?
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Right? I don't know anyone?
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: Right, So right there, lady, what are we talking about
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: the second time we broke up? He told his mother
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: that I was considering dying my hair blonde, and his
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: mama called me and said, that's not a classic color
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: for a black girl. I have seen some live chicks
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: with some black girls with rich blonde boy. Carla has
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: blonde in her hair, and it's always hair is always willed.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: That's one thing about the ladies on this show, Carline
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: Shirley Monica. They have gonna be writing always. But she
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: didn't want you to die your hair black. So then
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: you started making up stuff to see how much of
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: her Mama's boy. He fell into the trap. He'd have
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: told everything I was behind. That was my student loan papers.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: He told his mama. She called me and asked I
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: was having money problems and suggest that I get a
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: second job. The show can't count on my baby nothing
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: because he's my baby. Of me not gonna have this
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: boy working those two jobs. And he be tied then,
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: so then you decided to fight fire with fire. He
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: told his mother that he's experiencing ed so we ain't
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: had sex in over three weeks. His mama called him
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: and he was fuming mad at me and said I
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: shouldn't have told his mama his business. Well, ain't that stupid? Yeah,
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: you tell all of hers com He avoided me the
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: past few days, but we need to have a discussion
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: about his mama and this never ended missed. How do
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: I get him to stop telling you can't He's a
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: mama's boy and he's been there for twenty eight years,
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: and I want you to understand it's.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: Not her as him.
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: You're married to a mama boy, period. I don't know
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: how to stop these mama boys because I've seen some
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: bad cases in that.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: What's the worst.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: Well I had to do one time. He was real
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: close to his mother, and you know we understood that
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: because his father had died. You know, we grew up together.
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: But he just everything My mama said. I'm gonna tell
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: my mama because you're on our street. The lady down
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: the street could give you a whooping too.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah. It takes a village. Yeah, oh and our.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: Village all savages. I'de got beat by all my friend mom. Yeah,
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: but just let him right here. It's just a real okase,
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: Shirley said it best. This is a mama's boy. He's
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: not going to check. I can't help you. You married
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: a mama's boy. All I can help you with is
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: relationship problems.
- 1:07:40Speaker 16: With me.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: What did she wait for seven years to get the
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: same thing though?
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: Why don't you do this, lady, because you may be
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: able to get out this marriage. Why don't you check
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: his driver's license and get a copy his berth to me?
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: Because you might be he might be fourteen? Boy, you
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: can get out your marriage. Whether that she got a
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: high sex drive? Tell your mama dad about you?
- 1:08:12Speaker 16: What?
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: Ye don't you? Ain't you got to go to work?
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: Why she screwing all evening? I'm gonna call her. Listen
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: la critia, missus Earl's mama. How much time we got?
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: We got time for a reinactment? A minute? Ten second? Shirley, Oh, yes,
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: I'm gonna call you. I'm gonna call you. You the wife? Okay,
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: hello Shirley, Yes, missus Earl's mama. We ain't got a
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: lot of time, Okay, you and Earl? Erl says you
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: got a high sex drive? He did. Don't act like
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: he was talking about you.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: Well wait a minute now, miss Dorothy, that's our business.
- 1:09:06Speaker 14: Why did he tell you that?
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: Did you ask him what?
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: Because Earl be tired and he got to go to work? Well,
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: can you all in here all night dancing? On the
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: edge of the bed and everything in earth needs to

- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Miss Dorothy, That's just perfectly natural.
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: I'm human, and this boy all these days of the week.

- 1:09:47Speaker 1: He's gonna think like, here's my baby. Come all right, listen.

- 1:14:06Speaker 1: here we go.
- 1:14:06Speaker 10: Kaylee on Steve HARVFM says, my best friend comes from
- 1:14:11Speaker 10: serious money and doesn't seem to understand that not everyone
- 1:14:14Speaker 10: can drop two hundred dollars on brunch or five hundred
- 1:14:17Speaker 10: dollars on concert tickets. She always suggests expensive activities and
- 1:14:21Speaker 10: then expects me to split the bill with her. When
- 1:14:24Speaker 10: we go out to eat, she'll order way more food
- 1:14:26Speaker 10: than we possibly eat. We could possibly eat, so she
- 1:14:30Speaker 10: can taste a bit of everything with no regard to
- 1:14:33Speaker 10: my limited income. I've tried joking and hinting, but she
- 1:14:37Speaker 10: doesn't seem to get the message. I don't want to
- 1:14:39Speaker 10: stop hanging out with her and hate to have to
- 1:14:41Speaker 10: start a serious talk about my ability to pay, but
- 1:14:44Speaker 10: something has to give. How can I explain to her
- 1:14:48Speaker 10: that I literally cannot afford her lifestyle without making things awkward?
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: Okay, not eise? Are two friends?
- 1:14:54Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: Two friends? That's friend.
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: You just got had that conversation. Yeah, and if she
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: really your friend, she'll understand if she ain't quit going
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: out with her, that's all right. Yeah, I have trouble
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: with that.
- 1:15:06Speaker 13: Do you know?
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: The last time I took my family out, I told him,
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: I said, hey, look, because you know, Marjorie and Laurie
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: orders all the food when we do family dealers, because
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: they the foodies. The third foodie in the family is Winter. Okay,
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: so they order for the table, and then them dog
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: goned kids add stuff on that they want, not the
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: next thing. You know, here come all this food and
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: then this stuff just sitting on the table getting sent back,
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: ain't even touched. And so I said, hey, man, listen
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: to me. Y'all pay attention to what your mama ordered,
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: and then y'all act accordingly. But don't have all this
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: food come out here and go back, because that don't
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: make no sense. Man, That don't make no CeNSE. Bills
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: be high.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: I don't mind you and your income bracket. What's high
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: to you?

- 1:16:23Speaker 2: with her. We just happened to be up there at
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: the same time. She found out I was there. She said, Dad,
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: let's go to lunch. She had two of her friends
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: with him. I said, okay, so we go to the
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: first place. It ain't open, okay, So we walked down
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: the street. She said, Dad, it's a place I love.
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: It's called cavia something. Every dish has caveat. I don't
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: care if you are to scramble eggs caveat. If you
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: or to fish, it's got caveat. If you are, I
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: don't give it. But if you're on a hot dog,
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: it's gonna be caveat. They don't have that. But I'm
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: just this caveat everything. So We're sitting up in here,
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: and I got a couple of partners with me. I
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: was on a business trip with and they had some
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: of their friends with him. Were in here order and
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: I'm watching this cavear come to this table.
- 1:17:07Speaker 6: Now.
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: These people don't even know what caveat is that we
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: got with us, And I'm just watching caviard dish after
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: cavear dish. One dude tasted it, spit it out.
- 1:17:16Speaker 15: Man.
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: This tastes like South sou little pills are salt. Hey, man,
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: I kid you not for a brunch. When the bill came,

- 1:17:52Speaker 2: owner of the restaurant came and said, mister Harvey, did
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: you not enjoy it? I said, Sir, I said, look, man,
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: bought all this food and here these people don't even
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: know what caveat is. He felt so bad for me,
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: but I wasn't saying I wasn't gonna pay. He just
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: heard my story and he gave me a discount. He said,
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: if we did, he said, and some of these dishes,
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: they didn't even open the caveat, so we won't even

- 1:25:15Speaker 10: day on this what day is this Tuesday?
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: Boy?
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: This week is going by fast already.
- 1:25:22Speaker 10: All right, it's Tuesday, last break of the day. It's
- 1:25:25Speaker 10: been a good day. Thank you guys for listening. As always,
- 1:25:28Speaker 10: Steve close us out.
- 1:25:30Speaker 13: You know.
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: Here's my closees remark. So, I was thinking about this,
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: oh all weekend, along with so much that's going on
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: in the news, current events and things, and then I've
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: listened to so many people's opinions on so many different things.
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: But I wanted to remind everybody of something. And Bishop Bonner,
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: pastor in Atlanta, said something that I just heard him
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: say on one of his sermons I was scrolling through,
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: and it really has had a profound effect on my life.
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: And I'm paraphrasing it, but he says, be careful of
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: people who are always the victim of circumstance that they've
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: created themselves. And do you know how true that is,
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: because all of us know someone who is always the victim,
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: but it's from a circumstance that they created themselves. Like man,
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: you clearly are not seeing that you are in this
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: position because of you. See, here's what we all have
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: to come to terms with, and this is what makes
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: life so crystal clear at times. Three things. All of
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: us have choices. Every day we are faced with a
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: different choice. And after you have this choice, the second
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: thing you have is a deci decision to make on
- 1:27:01Speaker 2: which to choose. God made us this way. We are
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: really the only species that he created this full power.
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: He's given us full authority of the choices and the
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: decisions now listen to me. Depending on the decision you make,
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: right or wrong, good or bad, negative or positive, whatever
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: decision you make about your choice, the third thing comes
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: into play, the consequences. So you see, it makes it
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: all on us. You can't have a choice. I give
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: you an example. You're in a relationship, you meet somebody
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: you're trying to decide if you're gonna be with him
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: or give yourself to him. You decide, I'm gonna be
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: with him. I'm gonna give myself to him. Now you
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: get in this relationship and it goes bad. You're miserable.
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: It's going all wrong. Now, the first thing you want
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: to do is they ain't this.
- 1:28:11Speaker 3: They ain't that.
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: They this a way, they doing this. I can't stand them.
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: They who whoa?
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: Whoa.
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: Let's back up. In the beginning, you had a choice,
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: and in that choice, you made a decision to pick
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: that person. And in that picking that person, now you
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: are inside of all of the consequences. You don't see
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: yourself had a hand in that. M You don't see
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: that you picked this person. You don't see that of
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: the choices, this was the decision you made. Maybe you
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: need the decision too quickly. I got a friend right
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: now that's dealing with some serious consequences because they made
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: a decision too quickly. And he, oh, it don't make
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: no sense for him to do this right here, but
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: he just oh, I went to college with this dude.
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: This dude meets this girl and within two weeks they
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: move in together. This fool is sixty nine years old.
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: He moved in with this woman after two weeks. Here's
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: a man that's been married and divorced before. After two weeks,
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: they move in within thirty days. Thirty days, he mad,
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: it's over. I want her out. She won't leave. I'm
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: sick of her. I tried to help her and give
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: her none of Hey, bro, bro, bro, bro bro bro.
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: So he calls me, Hey, Steve, I know you got
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: that book and everything. This girl right here did this
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: and this. I said, bro, why did you jump the
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: gun like that? You only knew her for two weeks. Yah,
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: but she was cool. Everybody cool for two weeks. When
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: you meet a person in two weeks, you're not meeting
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: that person. You're meeting that representative. Everybody has a great representative.
- 1:30:11Speaker 2: I used to have one. Oh he was amazing, my representative.
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: Oh yes, Oh, this boy's out Stundy. His nickname was Butterscotch.
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: I put butterscotch on you. Smooth to the taste, easy man,
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: Oh conversation, delicious, hard to resist. And the more you
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: kept that butter scotch in your mouth, the smooth as
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: it got. It didn't even cut, it went down smooth.
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: I was butterscotch. Well, butterscotch got me in a lot
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: of trouble. See, butterscotch is a hard candy, and when
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: you bite down on it, it really ain't that smooth.
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: Scrunchy cut the roof of your mouth and everything. I
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: made so many decisions. But you can jump the gun
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: with your decision. But whenever you're dealing with the consequences,
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: you got to go back to the choices that you
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: had and the decision that you made. Because you are
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: the only person that you can correct. You can't correct
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: other people. So listen to me. You are in this
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: thing called life. Always know that the three things you
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: had a hand in. When you saw the choice, you made,
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: the decision, you got the consequences. If you start looking
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: at it like that, it'll cause you to look at
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: your choices different, make better decisions and end up with
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: some different consequences. You can fix yourself, but you can't
- 1:31:40Speaker 2: fix nobody else. Those are my clothing remarks today. I
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: hope you got something out of it. Hey, listen to me.
- 1:31:46Speaker 2: Here's the most important thing today, y'all talk to God today.
- 1:31:51Speaker 2: He would absolutely love to hear from it. He really
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: would make it happen, y'all have a girl.
