- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is Vertical Center, Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you,
- 0:04Speaker 2: and it's so nice to have you with us around
- 0:05Speaker 2: the country wherever you are listening on radio stations all
- 0:09Speaker 2: over And we have got a lot to talk about
- 0:11Speaker 2: in today's show, including the fact that Center it wasn't
- 0:15Speaker 2: just enough that they wanted to spy on your cell
- 0:17Speaker 2: phone records. They decided, screw it, we'll just tap like
- 0:21Speaker 2: federal lines in your office.
- 0:23Speaker 3: The Biden administration has been caught spying on now nine
- 0:28Speaker 3: US senators, twenty percent of the Republicans in the Senate,
- 0:32Speaker 3: Jack Smith, issued subpoenas to spy on and to get
- 0:36Speaker 3: our cell phone records.
- 0:37Speaker 4: I was one of the nine.
- 0:39Speaker 3: We now know also that Judge Boseburg, who is this
- 0:43Speaker 3: left wing radical judge who keeps issuing national injunctions against
- 0:47Speaker 3: President Trump, signed at least an order to me concerning me,
- 0:52Speaker 3: ordering at and t not to tell me that that
- 0:57Speaker 3: DOJ was trying to get my phone wrecked. Because the
- 1:01Speaker 3: judge concluded with zero basis that I was likely to
- 1:04Speaker 3: destroy evidence and to tamper with witnesses. It is an
- 1:09Speaker 3: absolute disgrace. We're gonna break it down. We're gonna talk
- 1:12Speaker 3: about the accountability that needs to flow from this. We're
- 1:16Speaker 3: also gonna talk about the shutdown that keeps on going
- 1:19Speaker 3: and going and going. Day thirty one in the Schumer
- 1:23Speaker 3: shutdown with no end in sight. We're gonna talk about
- 1:26Speaker 3: where the shutdown stands. And finally, an extraordinary story, Bill
- 1:31Speaker 3: Gates reverses his position on climate change. He's been telling
- 1:34Speaker 3: the world we're all gonna die. Now he's saying, never mind,
- 1:38Speaker 3: it's all gonna be fine. All of that we've got
- 1:40Speaker 3: on today's pod.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Yeah, it's really incredible.

- 3:22Speaker 2: All right, senator, So let's just remind people how this
- 3:25Speaker 2: all started with arctic frost.
- 3:28Speaker 1: What was the basis of arctic frost?
- 3:30Speaker 2: And now what we've learned about the reality of Arctic frost,
- 3:33Speaker 2: which is this was no more than abuse of government power.
- 3:37Speaker 2: It was a spying expedition on twenty percent of the
- 3:41Speaker 2: Republicans in the Senate, and not only that but also
- 3:46Speaker 2: conservative influential organizations and individuals as well.
- 3:49Speaker 1: We're learning, you know.
- 3:50Speaker 4: That's exactly right.
- 3:52Speaker 3: We now know that that Jack Smith issued one hundred
- 3:56Speaker 3: and ninety seven different subpoenas targeting more than four hundred Republicans,
- 4:02Speaker 3: targeting nine US Senators, targeting a House member, targeting Charlie
- 4:08Speaker 3: Kirk's turning point USA, targeting the Republican Attorney Generals Association,
- 4:13Speaker 3: systematically going after in a widespread basis, a phishing expedition
- 4:19Speaker 3: attacking his political opponents on the Senate side. So the
- 4:23Speaker 3: Senators who had subpoenas issued against them were Marsha Blackburn,
- 4:28Speaker 3: Lindsey Graham, Bill Haggerty, Josh Hawley, Ron Johnson, Cynthia Lummis,
- 4:34Speaker 3: Dan Sullivan, and Tommy Tubberville and then yours truly. For
- 4:39Speaker 3: the first eight their cell phones were all with Verizon,
- 4:44Speaker 3: and Jack Smith sent the subpoena to Verizon, and Verizon
- 4:47Speaker 3: complied and gave their cell phone records to the Department
- 4:50Speaker 3: of Justice. My cell phone was with AT and T.
- 4:54Speaker 3: AT and T got a subpoena for my cell phone records,
- 4:57Speaker 3: and AT and T did not comply.
- 4:59Speaker 4: Their legal council concluded that.
- 5:01Speaker 3: The speech and debate clause of the Constitution protected my communications,
- 5:05Speaker 3: and they did not comply.
- 5:06Speaker 4: And that we now know.
- 5:09Speaker 3: And just this week I did a press conference with
- 5:13Speaker 3: the other Republican senators talking about this issue. I want
- 5:16Speaker 3: you to listen to. This is me describing just the
- 5:19Speaker 3: scope of how serious and grave this is. Arctic Frost
- 5:24Speaker 3: is Joe Biden's Watergate. Merrick Garland was a fundamentally corrupt
- 5:29Speaker 3: Attorney General. Jack Smith was a fundamentally corrupt prosecutor. This
- 5:34Speaker 3: was a political enemies list from the beginning, one hundred
- 5:38Speaker 3: and ninety seven subpoenas for four hundred and thirty Republican
- 5:44Speaker 3: entities and individuals. That is an absolute and egregious abuse
- 5:49Speaker 3: of power.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Is there any scenario there, Senator, where you look at
- 5:55Speaker 2: this and you hear them and you think they could
- 5:58Speaker 2: have even for a moment, thought they were doing legitimate work.
- 6:01Speaker 2: I mean, when you think about the scope of this,
- 6:03Speaker 2: for people that are listening, this just seems like they said,
- 6:06Speaker 2: rules be damned, laws be damned, We're gonna spy on
- 6:10Speaker 2: twenty percent of the Republican senators. That is bigger than Watergate.
- 6:14Speaker 2: And then all these other organizations that we think are
- 6:17Speaker 2: helping conservative movements, we'll just spy on them too, Like
- 6:19Speaker 2: what were they even looking for?
- 6:21Speaker 3: Look, I think Jack Smith is a partisan zealot. I
- 6:24Speaker 3: think Merrick Garland is a partisan zealot. I think they
- 6:26Speaker 3: eagerly weaponized the Department of Justice. Jack Smith was appointed
- 6:32Speaker 3: as the special prosecutor to go after President Trump three
- 6:37Speaker 3: days after President Trump announced his twenty twenty four campaign.
- 6:41Speaker 3: So this all happened two years after January sixth. Yeah,
- 6:46Speaker 3: I don't think it would have happened if Donald Trump
- 6:48Speaker 3: had decided I'm not running in twenty twenty four. I
- 6:51Speaker 3: don't think Jack Smith is ever appointed. I don't think
- 6:53Speaker 3: these prosecutions happened. The reason they happen is Donald Trump
- 6:59Speaker 3: announced he was running in twenty four and immediately with
- 7:03Speaker 3: three days later, Jack Smith was appointed. And this was
- 7:06Speaker 3: about target our political enemies, Let's go after them. I
- 7:11Speaker 3: think Merrick Garland presided over the most partisan Department of
- 7:15Speaker 3: Justice this country has ever seen.
- 7:17Speaker 4: And I think Merrick Garland is still seething with rage.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Remember Merrick Garland.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Barack Obama nominated Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court to
- 7:25Speaker 3: fill the seat when when antonin Scalia passed away and
- 7:30Speaker 3: in twenty sixteen, Yeah, in twenty sixteen. It was the
- 7:34Speaker 3: spring of twenty sixteen, and we decided we're gonna keep
- 7:38Speaker 3: the seat vacant and let the voters decide in November
- 7:42Speaker 3: of twenty sixteen who's gonna fill it. And of course
- 7:45Speaker 3: that ended up being filled by Neil Gorsich instead of
- 7:47Speaker 3: Merrick Garland.
- 7:48Speaker 4: I think Merrick.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Garland seethes with resentment, and he used that resentment to
- 7:54Speaker 3: fuel let's go after the Republicans. Let's target them, let's
- 7:58Speaker 3: target Donald Trump. Let's turn earned the Department of Justice
- 8:01Speaker 3: into an arm of the DNC. And I think Hamala
- 8:04Speaker 3: Harris and the Democrats were all eagerly on board with that.
- 8:08Speaker 2: There was a strategy here. And if they didn't trust
- 8:11Speaker 2: you to know that you were being subpoena in your
- 8:13Speaker 2: records are being subpoena and other concernis were not going
- 8:16Speaker 2: to be told as well.
- 8:16Speaker 1: You mentioned that earlier. They said, no, no, we can't trust
- 8:19Speaker 1: Center Cruz.
- 8:20Speaker 2: And I'm assuming that was just a blanket across the
- 8:22Speaker 2: board thing because everyone knew how corrupt this was and
- 8:25Speaker 2: they would fight back instantly.
- 8:27Speaker 1: I'm sure.
- 8:27Speaker 2: But was this a spy to see who's working with who,
- 8:31Speaker 2: because if you didn't know what was happening, it may
- 8:33Speaker 2: not be as much about intimidation as it was connecting dots.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Or was it to try to find something they could
- 8:38Speaker 2: charge them with criminally explain the logic here behind Jacksmith.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Yeah, this was a fishing expedition. They were sweeping broadly.
- 8:46Speaker 3: They were just trying to find evidence of wrongdoing and
- 8:49Speaker 3: going as broadly as they could. And I got to say,
- 8:52Speaker 3: I used to work at the Department of Justice. I
- 8:54Speaker 3: was an Associate Deputy Attorney General back in two thousand
- 8:58Speaker 3: and one under George which was president. The idea that
- 9:02Speaker 3: you would authorize subpoenas for nine US senators for twenty
- 9:06Speaker 3: percent of the Republicans and the senator, or for that matter,
- 9:09Speaker 3: for twenty percent of the Democrats, that you would do
- 9:11Speaker 3: the opposing party. There has never been a Department of
- 9:14Speaker 3: Justice that wouldn't like that, would be willing to do that.
- 9:19Speaker 3: That is an extraordinary step, and it's a sign of
- 9:23Speaker 3: just how corrupt these folks got. But it's not just
- 9:26Speaker 3: the prosecutors, it's not just Jack Smith. They had I
- 9:30Speaker 3: think an extreme partisan judge, Judge Boseburg, who has been
- 9:35Speaker 3: one of the worst actors when it comes to issuing
- 9:37Speaker 3: these nationwide injunctions. We've talked about him before, and the
- 9:41Speaker 3: order he signed concerning the subpoena directed of my phone
- 9:45Speaker 3: records I believe was an absolute corruption of his judicial oath.
- 9:49Speaker 3: And here's what I called for. I called for him
- 9:53Speaker 3: to be impeached.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Yeah, there was a great clip, and you're gonna hear
- 9:57Speaker 2: Senator Grassley talking to the press conference and then your
- 9:59Speaker 2: comments all so you made on Newsmax about it.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Take a listen.
- 10:03Speaker 5: That includes a hard line for Senator Cruz's office and
- 10:08Speaker 5: a staffer sell phone for former Senator Leffler.
- 10:14Speaker 6: So they tried to subpoena Arise and attack the off
- 10:17Speaker 6: the office phone in your.
- 10:18Speaker 3: In your office well to get the phone records. And
- 10:22Speaker 3: they also subpoena at AT and T to get my
- 10:24Speaker 3: cell phone records. And I'll tell you AT and T
- 10:26Speaker 3: did the right thing. They refused to comply with the subpoena.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Their legal counsel concluded that it was protected by the
- 10:33Speaker 3: speech and debate clause.
- 10:34Speaker 4: Of the Constitution. But you know, one of the things
- 10:37Speaker 4: that is amazing.
- 10:38Speaker 3: Along with that subpoena they sent to AT and T,
- 10:41Speaker 3: they also included an order from Judge Bosburg, who's one
- 10:44Speaker 3: of these left wing radical judges who's issuing nationwide injunctions.
- 10:48Speaker 3: Judge Bosberg's ordered AT and T do not tell crews
- 10:53Speaker 3: we are subpoenaing his cell phone records.
- 10:56Speaker 4: Why And he makes a.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Conclusion, He says, because I can if he's informed, Cruz
- 11:03Speaker 3: will destroy or tamper with evidence and intimidate witnesses. That
- 11:08Speaker 3: is utterly without factual basis. It is a complete abuse
- 11:11Speaker 3: of judicial power. And I've called on the House of
- 11:14Speaker 3: Representatives to impeach Judge Bosburg the Constitution. When Judge Bosburg
- 11:20Speaker 3: decided to become a partisan warrior and be part of
- 11:24Speaker 3: the most egregious abuse of power. This is Richard, this
- 11:28Speaker 3: is Joe Biden's Watergate, and I believe the House should
- 11:31Speaker 3: impeach Judge Boseburg. And I also think we are going
- 11:34Speaker 3: to get to the bottom of every partisan who signed
- 11:38Speaker 3: off on surveilling and spying on twenty percent of the
- 11:42Speaker 3: Republicans in the Senate.
- 11:44Speaker 4: That's what Joe Biden and their DOJ did.
- 11:47Speaker 2: You just put that number into perspective, Senator, I mean,
- 11:50Speaker 2: twenty percent is unbelievable.
- 11:53Speaker 1: And you talked about the House taking this up. Is
- 11:55Speaker 1: there a real chance that they're going to do this.
- 11:58Speaker 3: I think there is, and it's going to be a
- 12:00Speaker 3: decision for the Speaker, for Mike Johnson, and for Jim Jordan,
- 12:03Speaker 3: the chairman of the Judiciary Committee.
- 12:04Speaker 4: But I think they will.
- 12:06Speaker 3: And let me actually read from the order that Judge
- 12:09Speaker 3: Boseburg signed. He signed an order where he says, quote,
- 12:13Speaker 3: the court finds reasonable grounds to believe that such disclosure,
- 12:18Speaker 3: in other words, if AT and T told me that
- 12:22Speaker 3: they were subpoening my phone records, that such disclosure will
- 12:27Speaker 3: result in destruction of or tampering with evidence, intimidation of
- 12:32Speaker 3: potential witnesses, and serious jeopardy to the investigation. Now that statement,
- 12:39Speaker 3: and by the way, I have no reason to think
- 12:40Speaker 3: that that was unique to me. My assumption, although we
- 12:43Speaker 3: have not seen the subpoenas for the other eight senators,
- 12:46Speaker 3: my assumption is that Judge Boseburg signed it for all
- 12:49Speaker 3: nine of us that he was printing them out like
- 12:52Speaker 3: placemats at Denny. If you're a Republican senator, that's all
- 12:56Speaker 3: he needs to know to conclude. And let me read
- 12:58Speaker 3: again what he signed. The court finds reasonable grounds to
- 13:03Speaker 3: believe that such disclosure will result in destruction of or
- 13:07Speaker 3: tampering with evidence, intimidation of potential witnesses, and serious jeopardy
- 13:12Speaker 3: to the investigation. And let me say, if DOJ came
- 13:15Speaker 3: and represented that to the judge, that is sanctionable. There's
- 13:19Speaker 3: no factual basis. That's the sort of order you put
- 13:22Speaker 3: in if you're issuing a sabina for the mafia, for
- 13:26Speaker 3: the mob, for a drug cartel, right, not simply the
- 13:29Speaker 3: fact that, well, it's a senator of the opposing party,
- 13:32Speaker 3: so we're going to represent to you that they're going
- 13:35Speaker 3: to destroy evidence. I believe it that the judge had
- 13:40Speaker 3: absolutely zero basis to conclude that there was no evidence
- 13:43Speaker 3: of that. I don't know if DOJ made that representation
- 13:46Speaker 3: or not, but the judge there was no hearing on it.
- 13:48Speaker 4: There was, we certainly didn't know about it.
- 13:51Speaker 3: It is utterly absurd to say that nine senators are
- 13:54Speaker 3: going to go destroy evidence and tamper with witnesses. He
- 13:58Speaker 3: signed that, and when he signed that, he was no
- 14:00Speaker 3: longer being a judge, he was being a partisan. It
- 14:03Speaker 3: is clear this man hates Republicans and is willing to
- 14:07Speaker 3: act on his partisan animus, and I think that is
- 14:09Speaker 3: why the House should impeach him, then the Senate should
- 14:12Speaker 3: convict him.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Two questions quickly. One, do you think that there are
- 14:16Speaker 2: may be other centers out there that we don't know about?
- 14:18Speaker 2: In two, a lot of this information we've been getting
- 14:21Speaker 2: is because of people that are coming forward, whistleblowers.
- 14:23Speaker 1: How important are they going to be moving forward? Because
- 14:25Speaker 1: if this is what they.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Were doing in this scenario, I can't imagine what else
- 14:29Speaker 2: was going on that we don't know about. There could
- 14:31Speaker 2: be other spying expeditions that were taking place on House
- 14:33Speaker 2: members on a completely different set of issues.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Well, look, we know four hundred and thirty Republicans were
- 14:41Speaker 3: the targets of these subpoenas.
- 14:43Speaker 4: There may be more.
- 14:43Speaker 3: You're right, it's whistleblowers who have come forward with this.
- 14:46Speaker 3: We wouldn't know without the whistleblowers. And I'll tell you
- 14:49Speaker 3: interesting little factoid. Sean Davis of the federalist reported, he
- 14:54Speaker 3: said Arctic Frost. The code name used for this operation
- 14:59Speaker 3: was not a randomly generated code name, which is how
- 15:02Speaker 3: these operations generally get their name.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Yeah, that's important.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Arctic Frost is a cultivar of orange that thrives in
- 15:12Speaker 3: Florida but can also withstand cold weather. The cold name,
- 15:15Speaker 3: the code name was deliberately chosen by corrupt federal agents
- 15:19Speaker 3: because the entire purpose was to take down Donald Trump,
- 15:23Speaker 3: the orangeman who lives in Florida.
- 15:26Speaker 4: This was corrupt, that it was political targeting.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Want to take a moment talk to you about an
- 15:30Speaker 2: incredible company. It is a company that is called Patriot Mobile.
- 15:34Speaker 2: They have been in business now for more than twelve years.
- 15:37Speaker 2: I use Patriot Mobile and the reason why is because
- 15:40Speaker 2: not only do I get incredible nationwide coverage, but I
- 15:43Speaker 2: also saved money on my bill. And then the magic
- 15:47Speaker 2: part of being where a conservative company is this Patriot
- 15:50Speaker 2: Mobile takes about five percent of your bill every month
- 15:53Speaker 2: and they give it back month after month, year after
- 15:56Speaker 2: year to conservative causes that fight to protect our first
- 16:00Speaker 2: First and our Second Amendment rights, the rights of unborn children,
- 16:04Speaker 2: and they also stand with men and women that wear
- 16:06Speaker 2: a uniform that we're a badge men and women in
- 16:08Speaker 2: law enforcement, men and women that served in Iraq, Afghanistan,
- 16:12Speaker 2: around the world, and they take care of families who
- 16:15Speaker 2: have lost loved ones serving and protecting this country. That
- 16:19Speaker 2: is why I made the switch to Patriot Mobile. Now, look,
- 16:21Speaker 2: it's gonna be amazing coverage that matters. Right, You're gonna
- 16:24Speaker 2: get unbelievable coverage of Patriot Mobile. So if you like
- 16:27Speaker 2: the coverage you have now, you're gonna love Patriot Mobile.
- 16:30Speaker 2: And switching has never been easier. When I made the switch,
- 16:33Speaker 2: I did it over the phone and they did it
- 16:36Speaker 2: in about ten minutes. So stop giving your money to
- 16:40Speaker 2: wote companies that are fighting against your values. You may
- 16:43Speaker 2: not know this, but Big Mobile gives big donations to
- 16:46Speaker 2: democratic parties, organizations, causes, and even organizations that pay for abortions.
- 16:52Speaker 2: So don't have your money go there. Go with Patriot
- 16:55Speaker 2: Mobile and we're gonna give you a free month of
- 16:57Speaker 2: service as well. Go to Patriot Mobile dot com slash
- 17:01Speaker 2: verdict that's Patriot Mobile dot com slash verdict, or call
- 17:05Speaker 2: them at nine to seven to two Patriot and when
- 17:08Speaker 2: you use the promo code vertict, you're gonna get a
- 17:10Speaker 2: free month of service. So switch today. It's so easy.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Patriotmobile dot com slash verdict or nine to seven to
- 17:16Speaker 2: Patriot promo code vertict for free month of service. All right, Senator,
- 17:20Speaker 2: So I want to move to a topic that we
- 17:21Speaker 2: teased it earlier, and it's also a pretty big one,
- 17:24Speaker 2: the government shut down. We're now seeing polling that I'm
- 17:27Speaker 2: looking at my screen over here, and it really is
- 17:30Speaker 2: fun to see this backfire in the Democrats face. They've
- 17:32Speaker 2: been holding America hostage. They keep negotiating the hostage deadline
- 17:36Speaker 2: and extending it. Is it is disgusting to see how
- 17:40Speaker 2: much they're trying to hurt Americans, trying to withhold food stamps,
- 17:43Speaker 2: trying to withhold military pay, government pay, the list goes
- 17:46Speaker 2: on on. They they want this to hurt because they
- 17:49Speaker 2: assume that the American people are so ignorant that they're
- 17:52Speaker 2: just going to blame the top of the food chain
- 17:54Speaker 2: aka President Donald Trump.
- 17:56Speaker 1: But the data is showing that that is a disase.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Asked her for them right now, and in fact, Donald
- 18:02Speaker 2: Trump's proverating has gone up, not down during the government shutdown.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Your reaction to that.
- 18:07Speaker 4: Well, that's exactly right.
- 18:09Speaker 3: This is backfiring badly on the Democrats. But before we
- 18:12Speaker 3: dive into that, I want to tell you a fun
- 18:14Speaker 3: story that you'll like. So my press secretary was down
- 18:17Speaker 3: in New Orleans and she took an uber to go
- 18:21Speaker 3: to her hotel.
- 18:22Speaker 4: And the uber uber driver was a guy.
- 18:24Speaker 3: A fellow named Dax and and and they struck up
- 18:27Speaker 3: a conversation and she mentioned that she worked for me,
- 18:30Speaker 3: and he said, I listened to Verdict every week.
- 18:32Speaker 4: I listened to it on the.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Radio here in New Orleans. And he told her, well,
- 18:36Speaker 3: like what time, what time it aired, and and he
- 18:39Speaker 3: was a regular listener.
- 18:40Speaker 4: That was very cool.
- 18:41Speaker 3: And so everyone who's listening on the radio, everyone who's
- 18:44Speaker 3: listened to the podcast, I just wanted to say, thank you.
- 18:46Speaker 3: We're doing this to give you information you can't get
- 18:48Speaker 3: anywhere else. And to Dax, if you're listening, thank you
- 18:52Speaker 3: especially for listening.
- 18:52Speaker 4: We're glad to have you and appreciate you.
- 18:55Speaker 7: It is.
- 18:56Speaker 4: Isn't that cool?
- 18:57Speaker 1: It's awesome. That's the best. Like when you have an
- 18:59Speaker 1: uber a live drivers like, oh yeah, listen.
- 19:01Speaker 2: That is what I envisioned as we do the show,
- 19:04Speaker 2: is people like that working hard, providing for their families,
- 19:07Speaker 2: and they just want to know someone's fighting for them.
- 19:10Speaker 3: Absolutely. Look, today is Halloween. It's thirty one days into
- 19:14Speaker 3: the shutdown, and the Democrats have not budged an inch.
- 19:18Speaker 4: Yeah, thirty one days.
- 19:19Speaker 3: The federal government is closed, the non essential functions are
- 19:23Speaker 3: shut down. We're seeing thousands upon thousands of federal workers
- 19:28Speaker 3: who are not getting paychecks. Let's take airports, airports right now,
- 19:32Speaker 3: they're fifty thousand TSA agents who are going into work
- 19:36Speaker 3: and they're not getting the paycheck. They've missed their last paycheck.
- 19:38Speaker 3: There are fourteen thousand air traffic controllers. They're going into work,
- 19:42Speaker 3: they're not getting a paycheck. And you know what we're seeing.
- 19:45Speaker 3: We're seeing as a result of that, more and more delays,
- 19:48Speaker 3: more and more ground stops, ground stops and Houston, ground
- 19:51Speaker 3: stops in LA, groundstops in DC.
- 19:54Speaker 4: They want that, you know.
- 19:56Speaker 3: One senior Democrat aide told Politico that the sh humor
- 20:00Speaker 3: shutdown will keep going. He said, quote until planes start
- 20:04Speaker 3: falling from the sky. That's what they're looking for. Tomorrow, Saturday,
- 20:09Speaker 3: November first, forty one million people are not going to
- 20:13Speaker 3: get the food stamps they would have otherwise gotten. Now
- 20:16Speaker 3: now forty it's actually forty two million now. Set aside
- 20:19Speaker 3: the fact that the number of people on food stamps
- 20:21Speaker 3: has doubled in the last five years. That is a
- 20:24Speaker 3: major problem, and it is a failure of the policies
- 20:27Speaker 3: of the Biden administration. But they're forty two million people
- 20:30Speaker 3: who were expecting Saturday morning to get their food stamps,
- 20:34Speaker 3: and they're not going to get it. And they're not
- 20:36Speaker 3: going to get it because the Democrats are voting. You
- 20:38Speaker 3: don't get food stamps. Air traffic controllers, you don't get
- 20:42Speaker 3: paid TSA agents, you don't get paid FBI agents, you
- 20:45Speaker 3: don't get paid customs and Border patrol, you don't get
- 20:48Speaker 3: paid ice, you don't get paid general federal worker. You
- 20:53Speaker 3: don't get paid And by the way, the Democrat congressmen
- 20:58Speaker 3: and senators, almost all of them are taking their own paychecks.
- 21:01Speaker 4: The members of Congress.
- 21:02Speaker 3: I'm not I said I wouldn't take my paycheck as
- 21:04Speaker 3: long as the government shut down, But most of the
- 21:06Speaker 3: Democrats are happily depositing their own money.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Let's be very clear to people listening.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Just like Dax's down there in New Orleans, there have
- 21:15Speaker 2: been moments where Republicans have said, hey, let's at least take,
- 21:20Speaker 2: for example, not be giving you all their food stamps
- 21:22Speaker 2: off the table. And Democrats have still said, no, we
- 21:26Speaker 2: won't do that. By Parson, peace with you, We've said
- 21:30Speaker 2: the same thing FANFA and military there.
- 21:33Speaker 1: They want this people to suffer.
- 21:36Speaker 2: They've had the opportunity to have in essence of carve
- 21:38Speaker 2: out and they've chosen know every time because they want
- 21:40Speaker 2: people to suffer.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Period.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Now that's right, And I'll tell you the media knows
- 21:45Speaker 3: that this is a partisan shutdown. Here, give a listen
- 21:47Speaker 3: to Jake Tapper. Now, Jake Tapper is hardly a conservative,
- 21:51Speaker 3: but even he on CNN is calling bs to the
- 21:55Speaker 3: Democrats talking points.
- 21:56Speaker 6: Give a listen, Should the Democratic senators from New Mexico
- 21:59Speaker 6: you're own state vote to open the government so that
- 22:02Speaker 6: these snap funds are not at risk?
- 22:05Speaker 7: Let me be clear, the administration is choosing to start
- 22:11Speaker 7: American children with money that they already have appropriate the
- 22:20Speaker 7: White House. This is a choice the White House.
- 22:24Speaker 6: This is also this is also a choice by Senate
- 22:27Speaker 6: Democrats to not vote to open the government. Yes, I
- 22:31Speaker 6: understand why they're doing it. They're doing it because they
- 22:33Speaker 6: want Medicaid funds restored. They're doing it because they want
- 22:36Speaker 6: Obamacare premiums to be extended past the end of the year.
- 22:40Speaker 6: I understand the reason.
- 22:41Speaker 7: I let me just be clear. The money for contingency
- 22:45Speaker 7: plans is sitting there. That is why the states are
- 22:48Speaker 7: suing the White Houses with holding funds worth of SNAP funds.
- 22:52Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, well you.
- 22:54Speaker 7: May not be a big deal to you, but let's
- 22:55Speaker 7: is a big deal to me. The grandparents, for GRIM
- 22:59Speaker 7: is a big deal feeding their children those accounts.
- 23:04Speaker 4: It's a short term sure.
- 23:05Speaker 7: At the end of the day, people need to be
- 23:07Speaker 7: able to feed their families, and Saturday is when those funds.
- 23:10Speaker 6: Are congress Woman, why not asking the Senate Democrats from
- 23:16Speaker 6: New Mexico to vote to open the government so that
- 23:19Speaker 6: the SNAP funds.
- 23:20Speaker 7: I am here in the House of Representatives. It is
- 23:23Speaker 7: shut down. I am fighting to get the government reopened.
- 23:25Speaker 7: I am fighting to get funding put back into SNAP
- 23:28Speaker 7: that is already existent. And I am fighting for the
- 23:31Speaker 7: American people. I am here, But show me a single
- 23:33Speaker 7: Republican that is here. Not a single one is here
- 23:37Speaker 7: to make sure that Americans are fed on Saturday. That
- 23:39Speaker 7: is why I am here.
- 23:41Speaker 1: I love how right there and it just made me laugh.
- 23:44Speaker 2: How even Jake Taveri's like, you're totally full of crap,
- 23:47Speaker 2: Like you can say this all you want to, but
- 23:49Speaker 2: they put it together. You guys keep saying no, And
- 23:52Speaker 2: she's like, I'm here, they're all gone. By the way,
- 23:54Speaker 2: I'm sure there was a Republican congress person there.
- 23:57Speaker 4: Of course there were.
- 23:58Speaker 3: But yeah, look as he put it, he says, this
- 24:01Speaker 3: is a choice by Senate Democrats to not vote to
- 24:04Speaker 3: open the government. And she says, no, it is not,
- 24:06Speaker 3: and he says, yes, it is. And we've done this
- 24:09Speaker 3: thirteen times. I voted repeatedly this week to open the
- 24:12Speaker 3: government if you want the food stamps to go out.
- 24:14Speaker 3: The Democrats had it in their power to do that.
- 24:16Speaker 3: All they had to do was vote yes to fund
- 24:19Speaker 3: the government. And they had multiple opportunities, and the Democrats
- 24:22Speaker 3: all voted no. Are all but three, I think voted no.
- 24:25Speaker 3: The reason the Democrats have been able to force the
- 24:28Speaker 3: shutdown is in order to move a funding bill in
- 24:31Speaker 3: the Senate, it takes sixty votes. There are only fifty
- 24:34Speaker 3: three Republicans. Republicans, we are voting to open the government.
- 24:38Speaker 3: We're voting over and over and over again, and thirteen
- 24:41Speaker 3: times the Democrats have voted shut it down, shut it down,
- 24:44Speaker 3: shut it down. And this is the stupidest shut down
- 24:49Speaker 3: we have ever seen, because the Democrats really are just
- 24:52Speaker 3: trying to show off to their partisan base that they
- 24:55Speaker 3: hate Donald Trump. The reason you're having a shutdown, the
- 24:59Speaker 3: reason people are not being paid, the reason your flights
- 25:01Speaker 3: are being delayed, the reason food stamps are not going
- 25:04Speaker 3: out tomorrow, is because the Democrats are trying to chuck
- 25:09Speaker 3: Schumer in particulars trying to prove to the activist marching
- 25:12Speaker 3: of the No Kings radical in the No King's rallies
- 25:15Speaker 3: that he really, really really hates Donald Trump. They're gonna
- 25:19Speaker 3: end up caving, but I'll tell you what my prediction is,
- 25:22Speaker 3: they won't cave before next Tuesday because Tuesday's election day
- 25:26Speaker 3: in Virginia and New Jersey. And bizarrely enough, they think
- 25:29Speaker 3: their base is energized by the Democrats shutting down the government.
- 25:34Speaker 2: All right, So this one is just one of those
- 25:36Speaker 2: segments that I'm just gonna enjoy Bill Gates as a
- 25:41Speaker 2: guy that was like the world's gonna end center and
- 25:43Speaker 2: we're all gonna, you know, die of heat and global
- 25:46Speaker 2: warming is real, and I'm investing in all these projects
- 25:50Speaker 2: and things, and the government should be doing the same.
- 25:52Speaker 2: And now he's like, all right, screwed, it's not gonna happen.
- 25:55Speaker 2: It reminds me I think it was Newsweek back in
- 25:57Speaker 2: the eighties where they said we're all gonna free to
- 26:00Speaker 2: death from like arctic freezing of the entire globe.
- 26:03Speaker 1: That went away too, So they got it wrong in
- 26:06Speaker 1: the eighties.
- 26:06Speaker 2: And now Bill Gates is admitting and Al Gore, remember
- 26:09Speaker 2: we were supposed to be dead like after ten years.
- 26:11Speaker 2: That was like ten years ago when he made his
- 26:12Speaker 2: prediction that we're all gonna die of global warming. None
- 26:15Speaker 2: of it's actually happened. And so now Bill Gates like,
- 26:18Speaker 2: I'd screw it. I was wrong, I guess.
- 26:20Speaker 4: So it wasn't ten years, it was twelve years.
- 26:23Speaker 3: And for some reason for the apocalyptic left, the world
- 26:26Speaker 3: is always ending in twelve years, and that's been true
- 26:29Speaker 3: for about two decades now. They'd been saying twelve years
- 26:31Speaker 3: from now, we're all gonna die. Twelve years from now,
- 26:33Speaker 3: we're all gonna die. And I got to say Bill
- 26:36Speaker 3: Gates was willing to be as hysterical as Greta, the
- 26:40Speaker 3: European teenager who shut down the German economy because they
- 26:45Speaker 3: listened to a teenager and said, hey, why don't we
- 26:47Speaker 3: shut down all of our nuclear power plants? And then
- 26:50Speaker 3: they suddenly realized they couldn't power their country, and ironically enough,
- 26:54Speaker 3: instead they're now opening coal plants and polluting a lot
- 26:56Speaker 3: more so the apoca the world is ending because of
- 27:01Speaker 3: climate change. Well, look, all right, don't necessarily believe me.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Let me just read what Bill Gates has done. So
- 27:08Speaker 3: this is from Daily Wire. Microsoft co founder Bill Gates
- 27:11Speaker 3: has done in about face on climate change alarmism recently,
- 27:14Speaker 3: saying that there are more pressing matters people should be
- 27:17Speaker 3: worrying about instead. The seventy year old tech billionaire, who
- 27:20Speaker 3: has been an outspoken environmental activist for years, said as
- 27:24Speaker 3: much in a memo published Tuesday titled Three Tough Truths
- 27:28Speaker 3: about Climate Here's what he wrote. Climate change, disease, and
- 27:32Speaker 3: poverty are all major problems. We should deal with them
- 27:35Speaker 3: in proportion to the suffering they cause. The businessman admitted
- 27:40Speaker 3: that the Earth's temperature is not the most important factor
- 27:43Speaker 3: for improving life on the planet, and said the quote
- 27:47Speaker 3: doomsday view of climate change is wrong. Let me read
- 27:51Speaker 3: that again. Bill Gates said the doomsday view of climate
- 27:55Speaker 3: change is wrong. Here's what he wrote. Quote, although climate
- 27:59Speaker 3: change will have serio consequences, particularly for people in the
- 28:02Speaker 3: poorest countries, it will not lead to humanity's demise.
- 28:08Speaker 4: Shocking that Bill Gates said that, and and and here
- 28:11Speaker 4: he goes on to say, quote.
- 28:12Speaker 1: What what does that mean?
- 28:13Speaker 2: He can find his private jets now and like take
- 28:16Speaker 2: a nap, not be like having to buy carbon credits
- 28:18Speaker 2: or get on his yot.
- 28:18Speaker 1: I'm just confused. I want to be here. What does
- 28:21Speaker 1: this free him up to do?
- 28:22Speaker 3: Oh no, no, the carbon credits scam is is definitely
- 28:24Speaker 3: still on. But but but he's gonna keep lying on
- 28:26Speaker 3: his jets. And remember, by the way, John Kerry the
- 28:29Speaker 3: Zealot when he discussed his private play and he said,
- 28:32Speaker 3: you know he flies private because he says, really, for
- 28:34Speaker 3: someone like me, it's the only reasonable way to travel. Yes,
- 28:38Speaker 3: but like the utter hypocrisy. But but here's what Gates wrote.
- 28:42Speaker 3: This is a chance to refocus on the metrics that
- 28:45Speaker 3: should count even more than emissions and temperature change in
- 28:49Speaker 3: proving lives. Our chief goal should be to prevent suffering,
- 28:53Speaker 3: particularly for those in the toughest conditions who live in
- 28:56Speaker 3: the world's poorest countries, and he added quote, although climate
- 29:00Speaker 3: change will hurt poor people more than anyone else, for
- 29:03Speaker 3: the vast majority of them, it will not be the
- 29:05Speaker 3: only or even the biggest threat to their welfare. And
- 29:09Speaker 3: he wrote this seventeen page analysis ahead of next months
- 29:13Speaker 3: United Nations Climate Change Conference in Brazil, hoping to shift
- 29:18Speaker 3: funding away from climate initiatives towards other endeavors that he
- 29:21Speaker 3: now believes are more important.
- 29:24Speaker 4: Look. I don't know about you, but I'm not tired
- 29:26Speaker 4: of winning. I mean this is climate change was an
- 29:30Speaker 4: ex so.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Has scam to make a bunch of money. Is that
- 29:32Speaker 2: what we can kind of get to here? It was
- 29:34Speaker 2: just about all of the money.
- 29:36Speaker 4: Money and power. There's a lot of money, a lot
- 29:38Speaker 4: of money about it.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Power.
- 29:39Speaker 3: Look, look for Democrats. If you are a socialist, if
- 29:42Speaker 3: you are a communist, if you are a comrade Mamdani,
- 29:47Speaker 3: I assume he's a climate change not I don't actually
- 29:51Speaker 3: know that, but I know he's a communist.
- 29:53Speaker 4: And climate change was the excuse.
- 29:57Speaker 3: For communists to seize control of our government, and and
- 30:00Speaker 3: that today's Democrat party. It was a great we're all
- 30:03Speaker 3: gonna die unless you let me. The Democrat politician control
- 30:08Speaker 3: the energy and business and your life, and regulate every
- 30:12Speaker 3: aspect of your life. The fact that Bill Gates is
- 30:15Speaker 3: making this change, it really shows the momentum is moving
- 30:19Speaker 3: and people are engaged in just just common sens is
- 30:23Speaker 3: coming back.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Well, and not only common sense, but like you look
- 30:26Speaker 2: at a lot of these solar farms, they're like being
- 30:29Speaker 2: dormited right now, Like they're just shutting them down because
- 30:32Speaker 2: they just can't work. They're not working in the pollution
- 30:35Speaker 2: that comes actually from the turbines and all the other
- 30:38Speaker 2: things they are actually saying, it's like having a real
- 30:40Speaker 2: negative effect on the environment.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Shocker there.
- 30:43Speaker 2: And then we also found out that like a pension
- 30:45Speaker 2: fund in California lost like seventy plus percent of the
- 30:48Speaker 2: investment that they went in green alternative energy that just
- 30:51Speaker 2: came out. So like they've screwed countless hardworking even liberals
- 30:55Speaker 2: in California with this crap.
- 30:57Speaker 3: And a point to understand, the climate change radicals have
- 31:02Speaker 3: consistently hurt the environment.
- 31:04Speaker 4: They are bad on the environment.
- 31:06Speaker 3: If the only thing you care about, if you wake
- 31:09Speaker 3: up every morning praying to Mother Earth, if if that's
- 31:13Speaker 3: your only voting issue, you should vote against Democrats. Why
- 31:16Speaker 3: let's let let's take for example, Germany. The Greens forced
- 31:20Speaker 3: nuclear power plants to be closed. The result is today
- 31:23Speaker 3: Germany is relying more on coal, which is much much
- 31:26Speaker 3: worse for the environment. And what country is leads the
- 31:32Speaker 3: world every year in the reduction of carbon emissions?
- 31:35Speaker 1: Which one?
- 31:36Speaker 4: That would be the United States of America? Do you
- 31:38Speaker 4: know why?
- 31:39Speaker 1: Why is that?
- 31:41Speaker 4: Look? This is a question actually I pose.
- 31:43Speaker 3: When I'm when I'm in a college campus, when I'm
- 31:45Speaker 3: talking to college kids and they're Bernie Sanders supporters and
- 31:48Speaker 3: they're they're freaked out about the climate, I'll ask them
- 31:51Speaker 3: a question. I'll say, tell me what human being has
- 31:55Speaker 3: done the most to reduce climate in our lifetimes? And
- 31:58Speaker 3: inevitably they have no idea. There is an objectively right answer.
- 32:01Speaker 3: The right answer to this is George Mitchell. Now, who
- 32:04Speaker 3: is George Mitchell. George Mitchell was a Texas oil man.
- 32:08Speaker 3: He was the son of a Greek goat herder. And
- 32:11Speaker 3: George Mitchell is the man most responsible for pioneering fracking,
- 32:17Speaker 3: and he did it in the Barnett shale under Fort
- 32:20Speaker 3: Worth and Dallas. Fracking unlocked the shale revolution, which resulted
- 32:25Speaker 3: in massive production of natural gas much of it in Texas,
- 32:29Speaker 3: although also in Pennsylvania and Ohio and other states across
- 32:32Speaker 3: the country. And the reason the United States every year
- 32:36Speaker 3: leads the world in the reduction of carbon emissions is
- 32:40Speaker 3: because at a wide scale level, we are replacing coal
- 32:44Speaker 3: powered electricity generation with natural gas powered electricity generation, and
- 32:50Speaker 3: that pollutes much much less, it emits much less carbon,
- 32:54Speaker 3: and the Greens and the Radical Dems have opposed that
- 32:57Speaker 3: at every step. By the way, do you know what
- 32:59Speaker 3: country leads the world in pollution?
- 33:02Speaker 1: What's that?
- 33:03Speaker 3: That would be Communist China, which pollutes massively, and yet
- 33:06Speaker 3: the Biden administration bear hug them with all they had.
- 33:10Speaker 2: There you go, don't forget. We do this show to
