- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show today, folks. I just want to
- 2:15Speaker 1: dive right in because I think I got it here.
- 2:18Speaker 1: It is. Did you know that there is a life
- 2:21Speaker 1: for you that's greater than you could have ever dreamed of?
- 2:30Speaker 1: Did you know that there's a life for you better
- 2:32Speaker 1: than the one you've ever felt before? And did you
- 2:37Speaker 1: know that there was a life for you much bigger
- 2:41Speaker 1: than the one you wanted? And lastly, did you know
- 2:47Speaker 1: that what I just said it's true? Did you know that?
- 2:54Speaker 1: Did you know that the things I just said are
- 2:57Speaker 1: available to you? It's not just intended for those who
- 3:03Speaker 1: receive awards. It's for everybody. Yeah, you two, it's for
- 3:13Speaker 1: you who didn't get your high school diploma. It's for
- 3:19Speaker 1: you who are incarcerated. It's for you who have two strikes.
- 3:30Speaker 1: It's for you who've been sentenced to life. It's for
- 3:35Speaker 1: you who've gotten out and have a felony record and
- 3:39Speaker 1: can't seem to get it together. It's for you who
- 3:43Speaker 1: have an illness. It's for you who the doctors have
- 3:49Speaker 1: given up on. It's for you, this life i'm talking about,
- 3:55Speaker 1: it's for you. Did you know that there's a life
- 4:02Speaker 1: for you better than the one you dreamed about, better
- 4:05Speaker 1: than the one you've imagined, a life better than the
- 4:09Speaker 1: one you thought of, That there's a life for you
- 4:12Speaker 1: better than the one you've ever felt before. There's a
- 4:16Speaker 1: life for you better than the one you saw for yourself.
- 4:19Speaker 1: There's a better life for you than the one you
- 4:21Speaker 1: expected and even the one you wanted. Did you know
- 4:27Speaker 1: that this is true for you? See, here's let me
- 4:32Speaker 1: give you the secret to this thing. Now you have
- 4:36Speaker 1: to believe that it is for you. Now, you got
- 4:40Speaker 1: to fight through the doubts. You got to fight through
- 4:43Speaker 1: the will of Satan. Because the devil is busy man.
- 4:46Speaker 1: The devil wants you to think that is hopeless. The
- 4:49Speaker 1: devil wants you to think that this is it. The
- 4:52Speaker 1: devil wants you to think there ain't no more to it.
- 4:54Speaker 1: The devil wants you to think that this applies to
- 4:57Speaker 1: other people. But you, Yeah, you've been dealt the worst
- 5:00Speaker 1: and of them all what you ate. But that's what
- 5:02Speaker 1: the devil wants you to think. So you gotta fight through. Now,
- 5:05Speaker 1: You gotta fight through to get to what I just
- 5:08Speaker 1: said is available for you. But what else you got
- 5:10Speaker 1: to do? You ain't doing nothing else, might as well fight?
- 5:14Speaker 1: Why just wake up and just let it be? Why
- 5:16Speaker 1: would you wake up every day and just exist when
- 5:20Speaker 1: there's a chance for you to actually live. See the
- 5:23Speaker 1: reason I don't mind smiling so much now is because
- 5:25Speaker 1: I'm no longer existing. I'm living now. See. See, that's
- 5:30Speaker 1: what you want to get to. You don't want to exist,
- 5:33Speaker 1: to wake up paycheck to paycheck, date today, not knowing,
- 5:38Speaker 1: not understanding, not having, can't can't get this, can't get that,
- 5:42Speaker 1: can't go here, can't go there, Gotta wait, gotta wait,
- 5:45Speaker 1: gota wait, gota wait till it seems like you never
- 5:48Speaker 1: get nowhere. You can get out of that rut of
- 5:50Speaker 1: life feeling like when you wake up in the morning
- 5:53Speaker 1: that your life is whole hum that you're just in
- 5:55Speaker 1: a rut. I drive the same way to work. I
- 5:58Speaker 1: do the same thing on my job. When I get off,
- 6:01Speaker 1: I drive all the way back home. I sit there,
- 6:04Speaker 1: I read the newspaper. I water the lawn. I'm so
- 6:07Speaker 1: sick of my life. It ain't this, ain't what I wanted.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Man and start, wake up, start over, do the same thing.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Then the weekend gets in. You got to mow the lawn,
- 6:16Speaker 1: and then you try to fix something in the garage,
- 6:19Speaker 1: and you feel like your life is in the rut.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I'm talking about. If this feels like a rut to
- 6:23Speaker 1: you now, if it's what you've always wanted, I'm cool
- 6:25Speaker 1: with that. But I'm talking to people who want it more,
- 6:29Speaker 1: who would love their life to be more, who would
- 6:31Speaker 1: love their life to different, to be different. I'm not
- 6:34Speaker 1: criticizing you if I just described your life. I'm just
- 6:38Speaker 1: only talking to the ones who would dare to believe
- 6:42Speaker 1: that there's more to it than this. I'm only talking
- 6:45Speaker 1: to the ones who would dad dad to accept the challenge,
- 6:49Speaker 1: to fight through and see what God got for you
- 6:53Speaker 1: instead of listening to Satan all the time. Devil is busy. Man,
- 6:57Speaker 1: Please understand, he's so busy, so busy, trying to trick you,
- 7:00Speaker 1: get you into the groove. You know they're doing all
- 7:03Speaker 1: kinds of stuff now, man, you know atheists and already
- 7:07Speaker 1: got prayer, taking out of schools. Excuse me, look at
- 7:09Speaker 1: our skills schools, not as a push by the atheist
- 7:12Speaker 1: to get the words in God we trust, taking off
- 7:15Speaker 1: our money. Here's a deal. If you don't believe in God,
- 7:17Speaker 1: and you don't want trust in God, just going about
- 7:19Speaker 1: your business. But what you can't do is spill off
- 7:21Speaker 1: all into what I'm talking about. That's the problem I
- 7:24Speaker 1: have with all of them. If you're gonna do you,
- 7:26Speaker 1: didn't do you, but don't spill off into what I got. Now. See,
- 7:30Speaker 1: if you don't believe what I'm saying, then I ain't
- 7:32Speaker 1: talking to you. Let's just be clear about the relationship
- 7:35Speaker 1: with Steve Harvey and his crew. I'm only talking to
- 7:38Speaker 1: the people that believe that are looking for something else,
- 7:41Speaker 1: that wants something more, that wants something better, that's gotta
- 7:46Speaker 1: be out there searching and hoping and trying to do more.
- 7:49Speaker 1: That's all I'm talking to now. If you don't believe
- 7:53Speaker 1: what I'm saying it is true. Didn't go ahead and
- 7:54Speaker 1: try it your way? Go see, write me, email me,
- 7:57Speaker 1: let me know how it's going for you. But I'm
- 7:59Speaker 1: telling and you have a way that's tried and true.
- 8:02Speaker 1: If you go to God, if you go to your creator,
- 8:05Speaker 1: your makeup, if you go to him and you go
- 8:09Speaker 1: to him for real and tell him, Hey, you know what,
- 8:13Speaker 1: I want you to go ahead and take over from here.
- 8:16Speaker 1: I'm done. I didn't done all I know how to
- 8:18Speaker 1: do out and tried everything I know how to try.
- 8:21Speaker 1: I'm sick of me right now. Hey, look here, you
- 8:24Speaker 1: created me what you want me to do, and here
- 8:26Speaker 1: a cool thing about it. When I made that decision,
- 8:29Speaker 1: y'all see, I was so afraid for years that I
- 8:31Speaker 1: was gonna miss out on something if I did that.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I couldn't do this no more. But the stuff I
- 8:36Speaker 1: needed to stop doing, I really need to stop. The
- 8:38Speaker 1: things I was afraid of not being able to do
- 8:40Speaker 1: anymore were the very same things I really didn't need
- 8:43Speaker 1: to be doing no more in the first place. On
- 8:46Speaker 1: the real man, on the real all that temporary fun
- 8:50Speaker 1: I was having all them temporary outlets. I was using
- 8:53Speaker 1: all them temporary things, trying to fulfill myself I was doing.
- 8:57Speaker 1: I was just doing a bunch of temporary mess man.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I said, hold up, man, I want something permanent. Man,
- 9:03Speaker 1: I want a permanent feeling in my heart that it's
- 9:05Speaker 1: gonna be all right. So he replaced all that fun
- 9:08Speaker 1: with joy. But it was only because I went and
- 9:11Speaker 1: I faced him. He didn't take me and stop me
- 9:14Speaker 1: from being me. He just made a better version of me. See, God,
- 9:20Speaker 1: don't take he because all the stuff he sent you through,
- 9:23Speaker 1: he needed you to go through all him. He needed
- 9:25Speaker 1: you to have him experience or what it felt like
- 9:27Speaker 1: to be locked up. He needed you to have experience
- 9:29Speaker 1: and know what it was to lose everything. He needed
- 9:31Speaker 1: you to have experience to make you tough. You're just
- 9:35Speaker 1: gonna be a tough one. I'm a tough soldier in
- 9:38Speaker 1: his army. That's all I just say. One of the
- 9:41Speaker 1: weak ones. I protect the weak ones. God didn't take
- 9:46Speaker 1: a lot of stuff from it, except the stuff I needed.
- 9:49Speaker 1: But the stuff he made me to be, he allowed
- 9:51Speaker 1: me to keep it, and he just made a better me.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Do that, y'all, and you can have what you want.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening, ladies, and gentlemen, the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 10:05Speaker 1: is own. The reason you can hear us is caused
- 10:10Speaker 1: its own. This may be rather obvious to you, but
- 10:15Speaker 1: sometimes you need to point out the things that are obvious,
- 10:18Speaker 1: because some people take things for granted and overlook the obvious. Example,
- 10:24Speaker 1: you do not have the power to wake yourself up
- 10:26Speaker 1: in the morning. That's a fact. Thus you should have
- 10:32Speaker 1: a measure of gratitude when it happens on the daily basis.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Thank you Lord for waking me up this morning. That's
- 10:40Speaker 1: obvious that you couldn't do it, because if you could
- 10:43Speaker 1: do that, adminutes to your life. We'd all be here
- 10:45Speaker 1: a lot longer. Ladies and gentlemen, Why am I going down?
- 10:49Speaker 1: Because well, I chose to, and now I chose to.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Introduced everybody. Shirley Strawberry calling for real, the mouth of
- 10:56Speaker 1: the South, Mississippi, Monica, and Junior and yours truly, that's
- 11:00Speaker 1: who here this morning. Junior was on your mind. Yeah,
- 11:04Speaker 1: you know, I'm concerned. You know, yesterday on the voicemail,
- 11:09Speaker 1: ladies said that, uh, you know you could possibly get
- 11:12Speaker 1: slapped you know. Now now your response was slap who
- 11:17Speaker 1: That's how you responded. Yes, Now, I just want to
- 11:20Speaker 1: know is it always you? Have you always been this difficult? Like?
- 11:24Speaker 1: When did you know at what age you was gonna
- 11:26Speaker 1: be difficult? At sixty five? How did you know you?
- 11:29Speaker 1: I didn't really know I was gonna be difficult at
- 11:31Speaker 1: sixty five. I didn't know I was gonna be difficult
- 11:34Speaker 1: at six or five. But it is my general makeup,
- 11:40Speaker 1: and yeah, by nature, I am going to question damn
- 11:47Speaker 1: near any and everything you say to me. That is
- 11:51Speaker 1: my nature as a human being. Now, the more ignorant
- 11:55Speaker 1: the inquiry, the more ignorant the response. It's not Once again,
- 12:01Speaker 1: the slap is world famous. I got it. It's all
- 12:05Speaker 1: over the world. Yeah, the lady and the thing said that.
- 12:10Speaker 1: One of the guys said on one of the calls
- 12:13Speaker 1: yesterday concerning the slap, you don't know what you would
- 12:17Speaker 1: do if placed in that sixth situation. I being too different.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I know exactly what I do in that situation because
- 12:27Speaker 1: I've been slapped before twice. Okay, both times that was
- 12:34Speaker 1: an altercation ensuing immediately all in, all hands on deck,
- 12:44Speaker 1: whatever you want to call it. One resulted in the
- 12:48Speaker 1: three day school suspension for you. Really, one resulted in
- 12:54Speaker 1: a loss of employment that that damn day, that day
- 13:02Speaker 1: you lost your job. But can we say this, and
- 13:05Speaker 1: neither of those incidents did you started? Did you ciate it? Right? No?
- 13:12Speaker 1: Oh okay, well how you thought? No, but you didn't
- 13:17Speaker 1: initiate it. You just you saliate it. Yeah, that's what
- 13:21Speaker 1: I'm here, everybody in the sitting here, your brave was this? What?
- 13:29Speaker 1: But here would go? He would go? Life is such
- 13:32Speaker 1: a movie. All right? Listen, it is like coming up
- 13:38Speaker 1: at thirty two minutes after the hour, run that prank
- 13:41Speaker 1: back right after this you're listening to show. All right,
- 13:47Speaker 1: it is time to run that prank back, Junior, Will
- 13:50Speaker 1: you do the honors? Please, absolutely sure that you will.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Today's running that prank back is naked yoga. Naked yoga.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Let's don't get into it. Come on, hello, Hello, I'm
- 14:03Speaker 1: trying to reach uh is it Gordon? Right, it's Gordon.
- 14:06Speaker 1: How are you doing? Gordon? Listen, my name is Let
- 14:09Speaker 1: me let me turn down the TVD you call them
- 14:11Speaker 1: about the apartment. Yes, yes, I was trying to see
- 14:13Speaker 1: about maybe coming over to take a look at it,
- 14:16Speaker 1: or seeing if it's still available. Man, I got a newspaper,
- 14:20Speaker 1: but I didn't know if this still available or whate no, no,
- 14:22Speaker 1: no still for rent. Um let me be straight with you.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Um uh you know, no pets and uh no no
- 14:29Speaker 1: smoking of any kind. No, no, I understand. Okay, if
- 14:33Speaker 1: you're understanding the listing here, it's like eight hundred fifty
- 14:35Speaker 1: dollars a month, right fifty you got a parking spot,
- 14:38Speaker 1: um your private bathroom with a shower and uh a
- 14:42Speaker 1: fifty I'm gonna need first last month and uh really, um,
- 14:47Speaker 1: let me what's your name? My name is darniell Okay first,
- 14:52Speaker 1: um so, yeah, um, first last month and uh so
- 14:56Speaker 1: security number. I can do a background chet. Okay, okay,
- 15:00Speaker 1: Now let me ask you this. You guys got out
- 15:01Speaker 1: like a back backyard area. I teach classes in the mornings,
- 15:05Speaker 1: and I want to know if you have that that
- 15:07Speaker 1: that's pretty much what will kind of locked me in
- 15:09Speaker 1: if you gotta If you guys got a backyard that
- 15:11Speaker 1: I can use, We got a backyard? What do you teach?
- 15:14Speaker 1: I teach yoga. I teach yoga in the mornings from
- 15:16Speaker 1: from six to eight. Hopefully that won't be a problem.
- 15:18Speaker 1: You make me make money through yoga, yes, sir, I
- 15:20Speaker 1: definitely do. I make enough. Definitely to cover the red,
- 15:23Speaker 1: that's for sure. Dad shouldn't be a problem. I know,
- 15:26Speaker 1: I know a little bit about yoga. That's that. I mean, really,
- 15:28Speaker 1: if it's y'all, you know you're not making no noise
- 15:30Speaker 1: at yoga, that's that's not a problem. A good deal. Well,
- 15:32Speaker 1: how quick can I actually get moved in? Man? I'm
- 15:34Speaker 1: trying to get something. I just moved in from the
- 15:37Speaker 1: from the East coast. I jumped on my yoga pretty
- 15:39Speaker 1: quicks and it got a quite a bit of clientele
- 15:41Speaker 1: built up. And you know, I'm just just ready to
- 15:44Speaker 1: get starting, get moved in man, something that I can
- 15:46Speaker 1: actually call home, you know. Uh yeah, well you know
- 15:48Speaker 1: we're looking at rent, rent it out pretty quick, um,
- 15:51Speaker 1: you know, because we want to try and get it
- 15:52Speaker 1: filled as soon as possible. Because if you said, we
- 15:54Speaker 1: are you are you? You got a roommate, you're you're man,
- 15:59Speaker 1: it would be me and my wife and uh we
- 16:01Speaker 1: it's a three bedroom home. You would have the room
- 16:03Speaker 1: in the back with the bathroom and uh yeah, like
- 16:05Speaker 1: a fifty to do a credit check, you know, we meet,
- 16:08Speaker 1: Um I can do the background check and uh no,
- 16:11Speaker 1: no no check? What what what what? What? What? What?
- 16:14Speaker 1: What do you necessarily need to do that for well,
- 16:16Speaker 1: you gotta know who you're into. And then you want
- 16:18Speaker 1: to know what the credit they got, so if they
- 16:19Speaker 1: can afford the rent or not. You know, I got
- 16:21Speaker 1: I got real good credit. Man, My credit is fine.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I'm I'm a hundreds on my credit scores. Oh damn.
- 16:27Speaker 1: All right when you get here is how you feel
- 16:29Speaker 1: out of application. But you know, if you if you're
- 16:32Speaker 1: ready to get it cracking, I can do. I can
- 16:33Speaker 1: do a background checking. You right, not give me a
- 16:35Speaker 1: sobsecurity number, Okay, but let me let me go ahead
- 16:38Speaker 1: and just do this. Man on that background check, because
- 16:40Speaker 1: you know that what I want to say about that
- 16:42Speaker 1: is this, it might be something on there about like
- 16:45Speaker 1: when I was on the East Coast. You know, I
- 16:47Speaker 1: was actually teaching uh, naked yoga. You know what I mean,
- 16:50Speaker 1: naked yoga. Uh you know you may see something on
- 16:53Speaker 1: there about me being a nip whole naked yoga yos.
- 16:57Speaker 1: That's what I's kind of yoga I was teaching on
- 16:58Speaker 1: the East Coast was naked yoga. You know what I'm saying.
- 17:01Speaker 1: And everybody with my tea naga yoga here. Well, but
- 17:03Speaker 1: see it's in the backyard. It's closed in, you know,
- 17:05Speaker 1: in the my backyard. And you what what what other
- 17:08Speaker 1: glitz you got? You said, there's some glitches, Michael, Well,
- 17:10Speaker 1: what is it glitz you got? Well you might see
- 17:12Speaker 1: that I'm in the Farmania. But see, but see, I
- 17:14Speaker 1: took some I took for what I took counseling for that, though,
- 17:19Speaker 1: what do you need to take some counseling over somewhere else?
- 17:21Speaker 1: You ain't taking no counseling and doing no naga yoga
- 17:24Speaker 1: in my backyard. No, man, all that's behind me now,
- 17:27Speaker 1: that's on the east coast. Man, that that's that's all
- 17:29Speaker 1: behind me. Now, I didn't put that thing down. Man,
- 17:31Speaker 1: I don't care if it's behind you in front of
- 17:32Speaker 1: you on the side. You're doing some nake yoga in
- 17:35Speaker 1: my backyard. That ain't happening, man, a matter of fact. Man,
- 17:37Speaker 1: hey man, listen, scratch all your lichens that qualified and
- 17:41Speaker 1: move in there. And now you're gonna sit here and
- 17:42Speaker 1: tell me I can't tell about doing some naked yoga
- 17:44Speaker 1: in my backyard with no twenty thirty people. Then my
- 17:48Speaker 1: wife's being on man. You look well, you friend of
- 17:50Speaker 1: your wife, do man, just scratch that one. Off your
- 17:56Speaker 1: list and just move on to the next one, because
- 17:58Speaker 1: ain't know naked yoga's going down back here with nip
- 18:00Speaker 1: from maniac. I don't know what else y'all might be doing.
- 18:03Speaker 1: I don't know what. I don't know who does next? Yo,
- 18:05Speaker 1: we all it's just it's just it's just a serene moment. Man,
- 18:09Speaker 1: When you find yourself, that's all this really is about.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Were you better find yourself somewhere else. That's what I
- 18:15Speaker 1: know you ain't doing. No nigga, yo, get my backyard.
- 18:17Speaker 1: I'm surprised you even cast somebody with that. Man, I'm
- 18:20Speaker 1: gonna come over that to this address and start looking
- 18:22Speaker 1: at this place because I want to set up shop
- 18:25Speaker 1: right here in my backyard. I don't even know you
- 18:27Speaker 1: talking about you got some lyches in your past. You're
- 18:29Speaker 1: gonna have a foot in your How do you know

- 18:36Speaker 1: wife's name. Man, you don't know me, don't know even
- 18:37Speaker 1: know my wife. Take my uf your listen. You come
- 18:40Speaker 1: out there. You're gonna have another glitch. I'm coming out

- 20:51Speaker 1: building for your love questions. Right after this, you're listening
- 20:56Speaker 1: Save Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of
- 20:59Speaker 1: the hour and entertainment news Chris Rock kicks off his
- 21:03Speaker 1: comedy tour and his ticket sales sore? How about that?
- 21:07Speaker 1: A comedy legend and a basketball legend weigh in on
- 21:10Speaker 1: Will Smith's incident, and we'll have our national news update
- 21:15Speaker 1: with miss Anne. But right now it is time to
- 21:17Speaker 1: ask the CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. This one
- 21:22Speaker 1: is from Anonymous in Hoboken. Anonymous rights, I'm a third
- 21:26Speaker 1: grade teacher and I saw a dad of one of
- 21:28Speaker 1: my students in a bar. He sent over a shot
- 21:31Speaker 1: of scotch and we waved. Monday at school, his son
- 21:34Speaker 1: told other students that I got drunk. I wasn't drunk,
- 21:37Speaker 1: and I called his dad and he thought it was
- 21:39Speaker 1: a funny joke. Should I take further action or is
- 21:42Speaker 1: it no big deal? Well, let me ask you a question.
- 21:46Speaker 1: The further action you're gonna take what is? What do
- 21:50Speaker 1: that look like? You're gonna report to daddy for sending
- 21:54Speaker 1: you a shot and you're drinking it? What you gonn
- 21:57Speaker 1: the boy? Yeah? Line up at the school. I mean,
- 22:01Speaker 1: what you what you're gonna do? You're gonna call it
- 22:04Speaker 1: daddy and straighten him out. But pto boy, they're gonna
- 22:08Speaker 1: put it on Judge D. They're gonna put it on
- 22:11Speaker 1: Judge D. Welcome home. I welcome all these cases like this.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Come on, but lady, I really don't what what you're
- 22:20Speaker 1: fitting to do if you ain't gonna flunk the boy grade, Steve,
- 22:26Speaker 1: I'm trying to fill what third grade? What is the retaliation?
- 22:30Speaker 1: What the counter move? Yeah? What you gonna get him for? Slander?
- 22:36Speaker 1: Was at the ball? You did throw the shot back? Yeah,
- 22:42Speaker 1: Jesus fact. And to him you look drunk. Why I
- 22:47Speaker 1: went home and told his body is it's what's the
- 22:50Speaker 1: troubling part for me, the one drunk? Yeah right, yeah,
- 22:56Speaker 1: all right, So no big deal you're saying, feel no body?
- 22:59Speaker 1: I mean, I mean is I don't know what you
- 23:01Speaker 1: can do. I can't help from what you can do.
- 23:04Speaker 1: You know, I know why he sent that shot over whatever.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Why send a shot to shoot your shot? That's what
- 23:11Speaker 1: the shot is. One more time, one more time, you
- 23:15Speaker 1: send a shot to shoot your shot. That's what your
- 23:17Speaker 1: shot was. Fall Okay, all right, got it, But Jumper,
- 23:22Speaker 1: they don't all go in on boy. Moving on to
- 23:33Speaker 1: us Shay and Toronto. Shaye says, I've I've had a
- 23:38Speaker 1: butt lift and my booby's done and my parents are
- 23:41Speaker 1: embarrassed by my parents, saying I look like a video chick.
- 23:44Speaker 1: I'm studying to be a nurse, and they said my
- 23:47Speaker 1: booty is too big for my career. Do they have
- 23:50Speaker 1: a right to crush my dreams? Well, you must be
- 23:54Speaker 1: staying then, I don't. Your booty is too big for
- 24:00Speaker 1: your career because you study ain't to be a nerve.
- 24:04Speaker 1: They ain't a different. Well, little girl, you can't always
- 24:07Speaker 1: nursing ain't for health care? What I bet? I would
- 24:13Speaker 1: love to see a big body walk in my hospital.
- 24:15Speaker 1: I love, and I think that it's for your career
- 24:21Speaker 1: because I know if I'm laying in the sick bed
- 24:24Speaker 1: and you come in, I'm gonna feel better. I would
- 24:26Speaker 1: feel better. I'm might sit up, try to make my
- 24:32Speaker 1: chart at the foot of the bed had better information
- 24:34Speaker 1: on Oh. I disagree with your mama whole hardly now
- 24:41Speaker 1: that I think about it. Just for your career. Break
- 24:48Speaker 1: your chart down at the bottom. Look a whole lot better,
- 24:50Speaker 1: Cause big body coming up in here to take my fall.
- 24:55Speaker 1: I bet it's high to day, all right. We're moving
- 25:01Speaker 1: on Flora in Columbia, right. So I'm in a situation
- 25:04Speaker 1: with one of my neighbors, So I leave the back
- 25:06Speaker 1: door unlocked in the mornings when my husband goes to work.
- 25:10Speaker 1: I was lying in bed waiting, wearing lingerie, and my
- 25:13Speaker 1: husband walked in and said the back door was unlocked.
- 25:16Speaker 1: I had no excuse for wearing lingerie. And he's still asking,
- 25:20Speaker 1: Do I say yes? Easy? I was trying on stuff
- 25:24Speaker 1: and lay back down and go asleep. I was surprised
- 25:28Speaker 1: you tonight. I just wanted to see how fit and look.
- 25:30Speaker 1: You know why I take so long? If y'all come
- 25:33Speaker 1: up with that? There you are at the ready with
- 25:36Speaker 1: the lie. Well, why are you so ready? Though? Always
- 25:41Speaker 1: I was hoping that that backdoor was open. Now you
- 25:45Speaker 1: ain't here asking me why I'm ready for the lie.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Don't don't mess up the backdoor. I give her, I
- 25:53Speaker 1: give her what to say to her hood. Okay, huh yeah,
- 25:57Speaker 1: I give her information, you know. But why does it
- 25:59Speaker 1: come so easy to you? Yes? Yes, you know. Just well, well,
- 26:04Speaker 1: let me help you understand. So I'm based on my
- 26:06Speaker 1: life that I've led prior. I've had many times to
- 26:10Speaker 1: be able to just own, call, own, call, say things
- 26:15Speaker 1: to diffuse the situation, confused the situation, and dilude the situation.
- 26:23Speaker 1: I paid dude, go ahead, No, no, go ahead you've
- 26:27Speaker 1: had to do things. So I want to ask you this.
- 26:29Speaker 1: We've known each other, you and I see for a
- 26:31Speaker 1: very very long time, work together, very long time. Have
- 26:35Speaker 1: you ever lied to me? Have you ever? Thirty eight times?
- 26:40Speaker 1: Thirty eight? Yeah, just right off the top and minimum
- 26:48Speaker 1: I know that. Twenty two years, yes, this year, twenty
- 26:55Speaker 1: two years. How many times have you lied to me? Eighteen?
- 26:58Speaker 1: Because you produced the show sixty five sixty, sir, I've
- 27:07Speaker 1: lied to you something to damn tag for shame? That really?
- 27:13Speaker 1: Steve Junior, your boy, Juniors, your boy. He worked on
- 27:18Speaker 1: the TV show with you? How many times? Twice? Just twice?
- 27:25Speaker 1: Five to me twice. You know, when he was in
- 27:31Speaker 1: the hospital, I told him one time, I call you
- 27:33Speaker 1: back and check on your game. Sick as his aunt sounded,
- 27:39Speaker 1: there's no where in here. I'm calling you back, bro.
- 27:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna pray for you. Next time I talk to you,
- 27:46Speaker 1: You're gonna have to be out that hospital because he
- 27:51Speaker 1: called back. No, lied to him right there. And then
- 27:55Speaker 1: one time we was on tour and then he got
- 27:58Speaker 1: dressed and say, unky like my suit And I told
- 28:00Speaker 1: to my DIDs I would in that suity head on
- 28:04Speaker 1: that day. But he had a double breast suit and
- 28:08Speaker 1: double breast vest. That's short's double yea. All right, we're
- 28:14Speaker 1: moving on to the last cello question. Joe Vann and
- 28:18Speaker 1: all Nie says, my twenty two year old daughter stole
- 28:20Speaker 1: my car so she could go to the casino with
- 28:23Speaker 1: her friends. I reported the car missing and she was
- 28:25Speaker 1: arrested for stealing. My ex husband is upset with me
- 28:29Speaker 1: for reporting the car. I told him to stay out
- 28:31Speaker 1: of it, and now he, nor nor my daughter are
- 28:34Speaker 1: speaking to me. Did I go too far this time? Well, yeah,
- 28:38Speaker 1: because you knew your daughter had the car, That's what
- 28:42Speaker 1: it was. Yes, she knew it. That's why they mad.
- 28:47Speaker 1: She say, the daughter stole my car. I reported it stolen.
- 28:51Speaker 1: All she did was she took the car down there
- 28:53Speaker 1: without asking her, so she knew her daughter had it
- 28:56Speaker 1: and reported his stolen. That's what happened. That's her, all right.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 29:04Speaker 1: some entertainment and some national news with miss a Trip.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Ticket sales Chris Rock stand up Comedy Toured the Ego
- 29:17Speaker 1: Depth Tour have skyrocketed since Chris was slapped at the
- 29:20Speaker 1: Oscars by Will Smith. Stub Hub said it experienced more
- 29:24Speaker 1: than twenty five times the daily sales for Rocks Tour
- 29:28Speaker 1: cumulative sales over the past two days, or more than
- 29:31Speaker 1: the total sales for Rocks Tours in the entirety of
- 29:34Speaker 1: the month of March. Additionally, the average price of tickets
- 29:38Speaker 1: sold jumped from between one fifty to two hundred dollars
- 29:42Speaker 1: a ticket to about two hundred and fifty dollars a ticket.
- 29:45Speaker 1: And Wednesday night Rock took the stage in Boston, and
- 29:48Speaker 1: this weekend he will be in Atlantic City. Ticket Holders
- 29:51Speaker 1: fully expect Chris to address the Academy Awards incident. Of course, right,
- 29:59Speaker 1: it was him, right. Oh but see, let me tell
- 30:04Speaker 1: you something. That boy, that boy isn't I mean brilliant man. Yeah,
- 30:11Speaker 1: I mean just cat is brilliant. You best believe he
- 30:16Speaker 1: gonna weave it all through the show. It's gonna be
- 30:18Speaker 1: at least three separate mentions of it. Yeah, and it's
- 30:24Speaker 1: still trending. Everybody seems to have an opinion on Will
- 30:26Speaker 1: Smith's Oscar slap. Comedian and actor Jim Carrey has said
- 30:31Speaker 1: he was sickened by the standing ovation that will receive
- 30:34Speaker 1: during his acceptance speech at the Oscars. Carry at it
- 30:38Speaker 1: that Will should have been escorted out of the ceremony
- 30:41Speaker 1: after he struck Chris Rock, and that Rock should sue
- 30:44Speaker 1: Will Smith for two hundred million dollars because that video
- 30:47Speaker 1: is going to be there forever. It's going to be ubiquitous.
- 30:51Speaker 1: So you know, duty all of that everything. I know,
- 30:56Speaker 1: I know people don't like hearing that, but I'm telling you, uh,
- 31:01Speaker 1: something should have happened to him. Does Jim Carrey point
- 31:05Speaker 1: though with that with the loss? Yeah? No, no, no, no, no,
- 31:09Speaker 1: he really does. Let me and all that if he
- 31:14Speaker 1: had slapped a white man, Jimmy Kimmel or what Dwayne
- 31:21Speaker 1: the Rock Johnson, No, that's not happen. That's when we're
- 31:28Speaker 1: doing Rocks. It's going to be a question from the seat.
- 31:31Speaker 1: But but see, clearly there's a size difference here. And
- 31:36Speaker 1: clearly that was a key moment here in knowing how
- 31:41Speaker 1: you could do something get away with it. That's I'm
- 31:43Speaker 1: a firm believer in that, and I just think it
- 31:45Speaker 1: was there was a Hollywood ass moment where you could
- 31:48Speaker 1: slap somebody, turn around and walk off rebuton in your jacket. Boy,
- 31:51Speaker 1: you know that can't have nowhere else on planet Earth.
- 31:55Speaker 1: And he knows that. But then you get up there
- 31:57Speaker 1: and apologize to the Academy. At first he lay, don't
- 32:00Speaker 1: apologize to Chris, but you did. What you did to
- 32:03Speaker 1: Chris was public. Now your apology some way on on
- 32:06Speaker 1: a watery No. He posted it on his page. Uh
- 32:11Speaker 1: huh okay Instagram. Yeah, what was the apology? M what
- 32:17Speaker 1: was the apology? Because I'm telling you right now, you
- 32:19Speaker 1: your your apology to me. You're slapping me on national TV.
- 32:23Speaker 1: What you finish say to me to fix it? His
- 32:25Speaker 1: apology was his behavior and that it was violent and
- 32:28Speaker 1: he was emotional. He admitted to that emotion. Okay, you
- 32:36Speaker 1: know what it is. But you're saying, no matter what
- 32:39Speaker 1: he said, he could there's nothing he could say. You
- 32:42Speaker 1: can't unslap somebody. And I was at the Academy Award.
- 32:48Speaker 1: You're not coming to me with an apology with some
- 32:52Speaker 1: half baked ass issues thing attached to it. I ain't
- 32:56Speaker 1: trying to hear because now we all got this issues.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Watch this issue. Look man, everybody and mental illness is real.
- 33:05Speaker 1: But you can't climb upon that horse and do it.
- 33:08Speaker 1: That's my opinion. People know wrong from right, All right, Steve,
- 33:12Speaker 1: we gotta get through the headlines. Yeah, ladies and gentlemen,
- 33:15Speaker 1: Miss Ann Trill, and here we go in Ukraine today,
- 33:19Speaker 1: the International Committee the Red Cross plans to hopefully lead
- 33:21Speaker 1: an evacuation now the war torn southern part of that
- 33:24Speaker 1: country if they and the Russians can agree to terms
- 33:26Speaker 1: of a cease fire. However, NATO Secretary General Jen Stoldenberg says,
- 33:30Speaker 1: when it comes to the Kremlin, you can only trust
- 33:32Speaker 1: your eyes repeatedly lied about its intentions, So we can
- 33:39Speaker 1: only judge Russia on its actions, not on its worst
- 33:43Speaker 1: and we'll see what happens today, authorities say. Meanwhile, Russian
- 33:45Speaker 1: troops have started leaving the cher Noble nuclear power plant,
- 33:48Speaker 1: reportedly because soldiers have been exposed to significant doses of
- 33:52Speaker 1: radiation from digging trenches around the highly contaminated side. If
- 33:56Speaker 1: you may remember, that was practically the first sight that
- 33:59Speaker 1: they seized when they invaded. February twenty fourth, President Biden's
- 34:02Speaker 1: about to attack the nations skyrocketing gas prices by releasing
- 34:06Speaker 1: as much as one hundred and eighty barrels of oil
- 34:08Speaker 1: from the nation's strategic of petroleum reserves since last November.
- 34:12Speaker 1: The president's authorized was ziase of ninety million barres of oil,
- 34:15Speaker 1: but he now intends, He says, to release about one
- 34:17Speaker 1: million barrels of oil every single day over several months
- 34:21Speaker 1: to try and keep the prices down at the pump.
- 34:23Speaker 1: One of the founding members of Grandmaster Flash and a
- 34:26Speaker 1: Furious Five, Kid Creole, currently on trial in New York
- 34:29Speaker 1: City for stabbing a homeless man to death back in
- 34:31Speaker 1: twenty seventeen. Kid Creole's government name is Nathaniel Gover. Prosecutors
- 34:36Speaker 1: say he was walking to his maintenance job in Manhattan
- 34:39Speaker 1: around midnight in August of twenty seventeen when he stabbed
- 34:42Speaker 1: a man named John Jolly to death. He says Jolly
- 34:45Speaker 1: approached him and said what's up. Well. The rappers said
- 34:48Speaker 1: he became raised because he felt Jolly thought he was
- 34:50Speaker 1: gay and was hitting on him. His lawyer claims that
- 34:53Speaker 1: Kid Creole feared for his life, but also that he
- 34:56Speaker 1: really died because Jolly died. That is, because he received
- 35:00Speaker 1: an overdose of a sedative benzo diazepan at the hospital.
- 35:03Speaker 1: The government says that Kick Creoles could have simply run
- 35:07Speaker 1: away from his victim. He didn't have to stab him.
- 35:09Speaker 1: To death no matter you know what he felt he
- 35:11Speaker 1: may have been trying to do to him anyway, very
- 35:15Speaker 1: very sad news out of Hollywood. You might have heard
- 35:18Speaker 1: some about this. It's a concerns Bruce Willis. He's retiring
- 35:22Speaker 1: because he's been diagnosed with something called aphasia. I looked
- 35:26Speaker 1: it up. I never heard of it before, honestly. And
- 35:28Speaker 1: aphasia is apparently a cognitive or brain condition and it
- 35:32Speaker 1: robs its victims of the ability to communicate, which, of
- 35:35Speaker 1: course is exactly what actors do. And you know that
- 35:40Speaker 1: one was from a diehard, one of the diehards. And
- 35:42Speaker 1: of course Bruce Willis has made many many films and
- 35:45Speaker 1: we will miss his voice. He's not dying, but he
- 35:48Speaker 1: apparently has a difficulty speaking, a talking and retaining information.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening,
- 35:58Speaker 1: all right, Steve, here's some good good news. One of
- 36:01Speaker 1: your favorite show, of our favorite shows, uh that you've
- 36:05Speaker 1: never really watched, is getting a spinoff. HBO has announced
- 36:09Speaker 1: the premier date for the Game of Throne spinoff show
- 36:12Speaker 1: House of the Dragon. It will be a ten episode
- 36:15Speaker 1: drama set two hundred years before the events of Game
- 36:19Speaker 1: of Thrones. Telling the story of Housetagarian. That's Denarius and
- 36:24Speaker 1: John Snow's ancestors as base of fire and blood. Now,
- 36:29Speaker 1: since it's Targarian focused, you can expect lots of dragons,
- 36:33Speaker 1: of course, lots of silver wigs, and yes, incest. In
- 36:37Speaker 1: this case, it's between an uncle and a niece instead
- 36:40Speaker 1: of the on a nephew action that Denarius and John
- 36:44Speaker 1: snowhead going on there, so we have something to look
- 36:48Speaker 1: for it, I mean, not the show. Oh oh, I
- 36:54Speaker 1: saw all of it. Oh yeah, no, no did you
- 36:59Speaker 1: While it was going on on, Girl Girl asked me
- 37:02Speaker 1: something about Game of Throne. Okay, what happened on the
- 37:06Speaker 1: very last episode between John Snow and Denarius? What happened?
- 37:10Speaker 1: Who is who is the queen? The queen Queen, the
- 37:16Speaker 1: dragon Queen? It ended stupidly but going, yeah, when the
- 37:21Speaker 1: when the dragon roasted the chick? Yes, okay, the throne
- 37:28Speaker 1: the throne here? Yeah, man, John Snow back to the wall. Yeah,
- 37:38Speaker 1: down for y'all. Punk ass I want I'm going back
- 37:40Speaker 1: to the wall he started from. Yeah, save Joe monk
- 37:45Speaker 1: ass Now I'm back. When I tell you what ain't
- 37:47Speaker 1: no more damn wall with you? I was so mad
- 37:51Speaker 1: at that. I was so mad at that. Yeah. But anyway,
- 37:55Speaker 1: so we get to see what happened. I can't wait,
- 37:58Speaker 1: I can't wait for it. Be good? Uh man? I
- 38:02Speaker 1: was so disappointed in the season finale, yeah I was.
- 38:07Speaker 1: But but prior to that greatness, Yeah that was greatness.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Yeah it was good. But see before a Game of Thrones?
- 38:19Speaker 1: What tell us Steve? See, I don't know what would
- 38:21Speaker 1: have been a good name. I know I'm not going
- 38:23Speaker 1: back out to this wall. That's what I'm I think.
- 38:25Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying. Well, and they couldn't get married
- 38:28Speaker 1: because they were related, right, nephew John Snow wasn't having that.
- 38:34Speaker 1: I just wanted more for John Snow. You want you
- 38:37Speaker 1: want John to be king? You wanted to be king
- 38:39Speaker 1: Risks life, Yeah something. So what happened to the lady
- 38:44Speaker 1: that was that was the mama to the all the
- 38:46Speaker 1: drags to the one we're talking about? What the queen
- 38:50Speaker 1: when we've been talking about, how didn't I didn't know
- 38:52Speaker 1: her name was Denarius? I didn't know that. I just called,
- 38:57Speaker 1: all right, we gotta go watch Fire and Blood when
- 38:59Speaker 1: it comes coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour,
- 39:02Speaker 1: Kim Kardashian takes a step back from some angry statements
- 39:07Speaker 1: she made, or statements that made other people angry about
- 39:10Speaker 1: women and working. We'll talk about that at thirty four
- 39:13Speaker 1: minutes after right after this. You're listening to show, all right, So,
- 39:20Speaker 1: Kim Kardashian has responded to the backlash she received after
- 39:24Speaker 1: telling a woman telling women, all women to hustle harder.
- 39:27Speaker 1: If you recall last month, Kim made this comment and
- 39:30Speaker 1: Variety when she was questioned about being a successful brand,
- 39:35Speaker 1: Kim said, I have the best advice for women in business.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Get her effing a up and work. That's what she said.
- 39:43Speaker 1: People got mad. No one like that response, and she
- 39:47Speaker 1: said it seems like no one wants to work these days.
- 39:50Speaker 1: So she wanted to walk back some of those comments
- 39:53Speaker 1: and explained how they came about. She was in an
- 39:56Speaker 1: interview on Good Morning America with Robin Roberts. Kim says
- 39:59Speaker 1: her comments were taken out of context, so take a listen.
- 40:03Speaker 1: It wasn't a blanket statement towards women or to feel
- 40:07Speaker 1: like I don't respect the work or think that they
- 40:12Speaker 1: don't work hard. I know that they do. That was
- 40:14Speaker 1: taken out of context, but I'm really sorry if it
- 40:18Speaker 1: was received that way, and it was to a lot
- 40:21Speaker 1: of people, because they were talking about she had a
- 40:24Speaker 1: privileged Yeah, they said that she was privileged, yeah, and
- 40:28Speaker 1: all of that, and who was she to work hard?
- 40:31Speaker 1: You know, she had everything handed to her absolutely. I
- 40:35Speaker 1: mean when you heard and when you saw the video
- 40:37Speaker 1: when she said it, that's all you saw. So if
- 40:40Speaker 1: she's saying it was taken out of context what was
- 40:43Speaker 1: said before that we didn't see that. Some people were
- 40:46Speaker 1: reacting to what they saw. And it goes back to
- 40:49Speaker 1: that whole privileged thing. You grew up in Beverly Fields,
- 40:54Speaker 1: well to do parents, and we respect the hustle, at
- 40:56Speaker 1: least I do. Of the party people think and things, dude,
- 41:01Speaker 1: get taken out of context all the time, all the time,
- 41:03Speaker 1: you know it. But you know, it's like when it
- 41:06Speaker 1: comes from that place. M like, you know, I can
- 41:11Speaker 1: only use me as an example if I encourage people
- 41:13Speaker 1: to work hard or pray, get up, stop sitting around,
- 41:17Speaker 1: quit watching TV. You know, except for a few you know,
- 41:20Speaker 1: things like that. You know, and as I as I
- 41:24Speaker 1: employed people, they receive it a little better from me
- 41:29Speaker 1: because they know I come from nothing and I but
- 41:33Speaker 1: and I'm talking to him from a place of encouragement,
- 41:35Speaker 1: from a being there done that. They took it from
- 41:38Speaker 1: Kim like, wait a minute, hold up, you didn't You
- 41:42Speaker 1: didn't start from zero or below the hole. You started
- 41:47Speaker 1: at eight fifty. Yeah. Right. She tried to fix it
- 41:52Speaker 1: by saying, just because you're a reality star and you
- 41:55Speaker 1: know you have a pavilion followers on Instagram and all that,
- 41:59Speaker 1: it's still doesn't make you successful. You still have to work.
- 42:02Speaker 1: It's not easy. I understand what she was trying to
- 42:06Speaker 1: She tried to fix it. Yeah, I mean me personally,
- 42:08Speaker 1: I would accept her apology, but don't a lot of people.
- 42:11Speaker 1: So you know, it's to teach his own. You know,
- 42:14Speaker 1: we live in this world of council culture, so now,
- 42:17Speaker 1: uh bump you from now on and uh you know,
- 42:21Speaker 1: but if a person tries to make it right, who
- 42:23Speaker 1: ain't said nothing that they wish they could walk back? Yeah,
- 42:27Speaker 1: walk back everybody. There's so many women out here that
- 42:30Speaker 1: worked very hard at just being a nurse, being a teacher,
- 42:34Speaker 1: just grinding and hustling and doctors. So when you hear
- 42:38Speaker 1: something like that, like, wait a minute, I work very
- 42:41Speaker 1: hard every single day. So I'm glad she like wait,
- 42:44Speaker 1: hold on, girl. So I'm glad she shakes that. Yeah.
- 42:47Speaker 1: And that is one thing I do like about her.
- 42:50Speaker 1: She faces it. If it's something that she's being criticized about,
- 42:54Speaker 1: she will talk about it. She will face it. She
- 42:56Speaker 1: will try and fix it, answer it the best way
- 42:59Speaker 1: she can her. Well, do you guys remember watching the Oscars?
- 43:02Speaker 1: It was even a center of a joke mate with
- 43:05Speaker 1: Regina Hall repeating it to Best Actress nominee Dame Judy Dench.
- 43:11Speaker 1: And uh, she told Dame Judy Dench, this is a
- 43:14Speaker 1: quote from Kim Kardashian. Work harder, that's what that's what
- 43:20Speaker 1: you need to do. And she lands at a joke. Yeah,
- 43:26Speaker 1: wow at the Oscars? Are you kidding me? You could? Man? Yeah,
- 43:34Speaker 1: but I still got love for Kim. I'm glad she
- 43:37Speaker 1: fixed it. Yeah, I am too. And she looked amazing
- 43:41Speaker 1: in that blue dress as to say, she really did. Yeah,
- 43:46Speaker 1: she's a oh my god. At the Oscar party, Yeah,
- 43:49Speaker 1: she looked beautiful. She really did. So, I mean, you know,
- 43:53Speaker 1: like you say, Steve, stuff happens. You have to walk
- 43:56Speaker 1: back stuff all the time. At least she's woman enough
- 43:58Speaker 1: to admit it. All right, Coming up next to It
- 44:01Speaker 1: is a prank phone call, and we'll get into that
- 44:03Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to Dave Harvey Morning Show
- 44:08Speaker 1: coming up in about four minutes after the hour, I'll
- 44:11Speaker 1: have my strawberry letter for you, and the subject is
- 44:14Speaker 1: let's make a deal. Okay, we'll get into that in
- 44:17Speaker 1: just a few but right now it is time for
- 44:19Speaker 1: the prank phone call. Junior once again, can you do
- 44:22Speaker 1: the honors for the nephew who's out today? Right here?
- 44:25Speaker 1: It is the plumber. That's it, Just the plumber. He
- 44:29Speaker 1: didn't tell me anything else about it. What's the plumber?
- 44:31Speaker 1: Come on? Okay, hello, yeah, I'm trying to reach out y'all,
- 44:35Speaker 1: mister please missus. How you doing. You're the person that
- 44:40Speaker 1: does the plumbing work, am I right? Yeah? Yeah? Nah?
- 44:44Speaker 1: My wife got some work done for you. You come
- 44:46Speaker 1: by the house now, do you know? I know you
- 44:49Speaker 1: probably got quite a bit of work. No. I do
- 44:53Speaker 1: so many to throughout the day. So I have it
- 44:56Speaker 1: on my receiver. I can look at over Hill about
- 44:58Speaker 1: three days ago. It was yeah, yeah, yeah, I can
- 45:04Speaker 1: recall was a lady there. Yeah, it was a tarlet
- 45:08Speaker 1: was backed up and was overflowing, and yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 45:12Speaker 1: I can recall that now something's wrong with the sinking
- 45:15Speaker 1: now too, and that that had a leak in the
- 45:17Speaker 1: back of it. Yeah, I had a leak in the
- 45:19Speaker 1: back and uh, and I've done that. I fixed that
- 45:21Speaker 1: there for you. And uh. I took that toilet that
- 45:24Speaker 1: I had around the bottom of your base, the tilet
- 45:27Speaker 1: base there. I had to take that up and retape
- 45:30Speaker 1: it because that tape head came came loose. It was
- 45:32Speaker 1: kind of older. And you know, I went through that
- 45:34Speaker 1: and done all that and saved it up and sealed
- 45:37Speaker 1: it up, and and I rebased that seal back there
- 45:40Speaker 1: on your in the tarlet, and and your sink had
- 45:42Speaker 1: a little leak back there in the back. I fixed
- 45:44Speaker 1: that because you know that was really easy. Now. So well,
- 45:48Speaker 1: see that something went wrong with the tarlet. Did you
- 45:53Speaker 1: did you put another pipe or something that you rerite
- 45:56Speaker 1: a pipe or anything? No? No, Like I said all
- 45:59Speaker 1: of this, I took the base of it off there,
- 46:01Speaker 1: and I take it up where that in that old
- 46:04Speaker 1: tape there, and then I'll put me some seamen which
- 46:07Speaker 1: was was with uh with my pipe there, and and
- 46:11Speaker 1: I sealed it all up and I checked it out
- 46:13Speaker 1: that lady drive and see if it leaked, and it
- 46:15Speaker 1: didn't leak, and I put your base back on and
- 46:17Speaker 1: you know, and then then then you had a little
- 46:20Speaker 1: leak there in your seat and that was on the
- 46:23Speaker 1: top of the your nozzle there, and I fixed that. Miss.
- 46:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you, because I'm gonna be honest with
- 46:30Speaker 1: you and tell you I'm not happy with what I got.
- 46:32Speaker 1: You're not happy with it? No, Now, let me tell
- 46:35Speaker 1: you what's happening. Now. Say somebody in the bathroom and
- 46:39Speaker 1: they flushed that tarlet right right when they flushed that tarlet,
- 46:44Speaker 1: come out the sink in the kitchen. Oh tell me
- 46:49Speaker 1: that till that say that what you did again? I said,
- 46:52Speaker 1: when they flushed the tarlet in the bathroom, right, come
- 46:56Speaker 1: out to shank in the kitchen. They come out in
- 46:59Speaker 1: the kitchen like that. I don't know what how you
- 47:00Speaker 1: ropped something like you didn't You didn't miss routed or something. No,
- 47:03Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't route anything. All I did was
- 47:06Speaker 1: fixed up and put the tape on there. So I
- 47:09Speaker 1: fixed the leak that was you know, you it's a
- 47:12Speaker 1: base of your toilet. I didn't reroute anything. I don't.
- 47:15Speaker 1: I don't. I don't understand how can you you reroute
- 47:19Speaker 1: a pip? I don't. That's not to go into your
- 47:22Speaker 1: kitchen and shoot, we'll shoot crap out of your kitchen
- 47:26Speaker 1: like that. I don't know what what what you did
- 47:29Speaker 1: when you was up onderd and how you rerouted something,
- 47:31Speaker 1: but that's what happened, and it's got, it's got. It's
- 47:33Speaker 1: going from the from that bathroom when you flushed that
- 47:37Speaker 1: Tarlet it come out in my sink in my kitchen.
- 47:40Speaker 1: Now what's bad about it? This morning I'm in there
- 47:43Speaker 1: cooking and what's your name again? My name is? They
- 47:47Speaker 1: called me? Okay? And crap is coming out of your
- 47:52Speaker 1: your in my in my kitchen now. This morning I
- 47:55Speaker 1: set out some red beans and rice to cook and
- 47:57Speaker 1: I put my beans on not not I've been I've
- 48:00Speaker 1: been cooking. Listen to me. I've been cooking all though.
- 48:03Speaker 1: I'm trying to be professional about this because you know,
- 48:05Speaker 1: I guarantee of work. I've been doing this over twenty
- 48:07Speaker 1: years and the one thing I do I guarantee of work.
- 48:10Speaker 1: And I'm real proud about the things that you know
- 48:12Speaker 1: I do. But what what did you have anybody else
- 48:16Speaker 1: over there working on your pipe? Ain't nobody did you
- 48:19Speaker 1: in your kitchen. You know what I did with your bathroom?
- 48:21Speaker 1: You is the room. The bathroom don't have anything to
- 48:24Speaker 1: do with your kitchen. That's floor a pipe, have anything
- 48:28Speaker 1: to do with one. All the others didn't explain that
- 48:30Speaker 1: coming through my sink and my kitchen. I can't explain
- 48:34Speaker 1: it coming from your your sink. I can only explain
- 48:37Speaker 1: that's getting the toilet in your sink. I have no idea.
- 48:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna listen because nothing got me wrapped up. Listen,
- 48:44Speaker 1: not what it is. It Well, you got me kind
- 48:46Speaker 1: of wrapped up here because you know, like I said,
- 48:48Speaker 1: I do this here and I've been doing for twenty years.
- 48:50Speaker 1: And that's the first time I've ever heard of anything
- 48:53Speaker 1: like that being't happen it, I ain't never seen it. Well,
- 48:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you it's just disgusting. The big cooked
- 48:58Speaker 1: till cook red beans all day, and now I find
- 49:01Speaker 1: out that it's sitting in some dirty water like that.
- 49:03Speaker 1: You didn't smell a water when you was in the
- 49:05Speaker 1: in your seat because you didn't had a lout or smell.
- 49:10Speaker 1: I didn't smell nothing. This is more earlier. This morning,
- 49:12Speaker 1: I washed my hand now and I didn't I washed
- 49:16Speaker 1: my hair in there. That's just what it smelled like
- 49:20Speaker 1: a bagger. I'm just, I just, I just refused to
- 49:23Speaker 1: believe that the work I did on your toilet and
- 49:26Speaker 1: there taking some stuff up and seeming some stuff up
- 49:28Speaker 1: and on your seat had anything to do with scrap
- 49:32Speaker 1: me and shout out to them kitchen scene. Well, I
- 49:35Speaker 1: tell you what what I need to do is for
- 49:37Speaker 1: you to get your back over here and fix it,
- 49:39Speaker 1: because this here ain't a good job, and I don't
- 49:41Speaker 1: recommend nobody using you. Well, first of all, why I'm
- 49:45Speaker 1: trying to be professional about it and you cussing me
- 49:49Speaker 1: and that ain't gonna get nothing done. Once come out
- 49:52Speaker 1: my pike, it was no longer professional. You had somebody
- 49:56Speaker 1: else over there doing something in your scene. I ain't
- 49:58Speaker 1: had nobody to You have a guys just falling over looks.
- 50:03Speaker 1: It ain't hun the whalers and crowd coming out of
- 50:07Speaker 1: my God. You get your back over and you fix
- 50:09Speaker 1: what you bold to fix and think it right. Then
- 50:12Speaker 1: I'm not paying another damn dying for it. Ain't I
- 50:17Speaker 1: tired me professional about it. I'm listening to what you
- 50:19Speaker 1: gotta say. I shot a long time ago when I
- 50:23Speaker 1: guarantee my work, and I'm trying to, you know, doing
- 50:26Speaker 1: with my customers. When I left ahead, I told her
- 50:28Speaker 1: the pressure Tarley to it. She ran the faster in
- 50:31Speaker 1: the bathroom. We ain't no problems like you don't have
- 50:34Speaker 1: somebody else over now they're doing whatever. D knows what
- 50:37Speaker 1: I don't. I damn sure I don't know. Dude. You
- 50:40Speaker 1: know I ain't none of my vines. I ate some
- 50:42Speaker 1: of them, red Beans, and not what bothered me? Now
- 50:44Speaker 1: I feel thick to my stomach. I'm feeling that man,
- 50:48Speaker 1: red Bean, and you know down it's you, you, you
- 50:53Speaker 1: crazy ill. I'm gonna make your dick something me, red Beans.
- 50:56Speaker 1: If you don't come fix me pipe, you can go ahead.
- 51:00Speaker 1: I'm trying to be professional. In fact, I told you
- 51:02Speaker 1: I'm doing my job. I did it the best thing
- 51:04Speaker 1: I know I could. And when I got when I
- 51:06Speaker 1: left the one nothing leaking one pike, don't be with you.
- 51:10Speaker 1: You get over sixte Pike that you you your life
- 51:16Speaker 1: kiss because I know well I did. I'll stand the
- 51:20Speaker 1: job over there. You ain't done nothing. If I got them,
- 51:23Speaker 1: have me in the right, stick them up, you you
- 51:25Speaker 1: and your pikes, and I don't give a damn, I
- 51:28Speaker 1: know what's coming up. Kitchen really means the right. I
- 51:31Speaker 1: ain't done nothing over there in your damn kitchen to
- 51:34Speaker 1: have you that. I'm set with me. I got one
- 51:36Speaker 1: more thing I want to say to you. If you're listening,
- 51:39Speaker 1: I'm listening to you. This is Nephew timing from the
- 51:43Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Martin Show. You just got played by your boy?
- 51:53Speaker 1: You kidding me? Man, y'all, y'all crazy man? Hey man,
- 51:58Speaker 1: I gotta ask you big time? What is the baddest

- 52:14Speaker 1: That was a lot? Really? Really? I shoke my red
- 52:22Speaker 1: beans and rushing it, dude, I washed my hair in it.
- 52:32Speaker 1: All I know is that plumber, this old man talking
- 52:35Speaker 1: to him about rewriting that pipe. I don't give a
- 52:39Speaker 1: damn Okay, and wife, your wife red beans at it.
- 52:51Speaker 1: He'd had it at that point, Yeah he did. Man,
- 52:55Speaker 1: Oh my god, the plumber the Frankly thanks all right,
- 53:03Speaker 1: all right, junior, thank you. Coming up next, it is

- 53:32Speaker 1: submit letter, and we could be reading your letter live
- 53:35Speaker 1: on the air, just like we're gonna read this one
- 53:37Speaker 1: right here right now. All right, every be yours you
- 53:40Speaker 1: never know, right everybody, it's time for the Strawberry Letter. Well,
- 53:44Speaker 1: my good friend Shirley Strawberry, thank you, junior subject. Let's
- 53:49Speaker 1: make a deal, Dear Stephen, Shirley, I'm a very beautiful
- 53:53Speaker 1: and bucksom female in my mid forty and I'm divorced.
- 53:57Speaker 1: My husband cheated on me with an acquaintance of mine
- 54:00Speaker 1: that I let stay with us for two nights so
- 54:03Speaker 1: her house could get painted. I was naive and didn't
- 54:06Speaker 1: suspect anything, even though I caught him coming out of
- 54:09Speaker 1: the bathroom where she was taking a shower. He said
- 54:12Speaker 1: he walked in by mistake. I found out right after
- 54:16Speaker 1: that when she confessed. So now I've been single for
- 54:20Speaker 1: close to two years. That married men and men with
- 54:23Speaker 1: girlfriends want to play with me on the side. To
- 54:26Speaker 1: be honest, I'm still damaged from my divorce, so it
- 54:30Speaker 1: would be nice to have sex with no strings attached
- 54:33Speaker 1: with a decent man that's being honest about his situation.
- 54:37Speaker 1: I shared my thoughts with two of my good friends.
- 54:39Speaker 1: One is a man, and he advised me to get
- 54:42Speaker 1: something out of the situation. If a married guy wants
- 54:45Speaker 1: to want sex on the side, he suggested that I
- 54:47Speaker 1: tell the guy I want a deal. In quotes, the
- 54:51Speaker 1: deal can be anything that I want or need to
- 54:54Speaker 1: be happy with our arrangement, whether it's money or home
- 54:57Speaker 1: cooked me a weekly massage. I love this concept, but
- 55:01Speaker 1: when I presented it to the black men that were
- 55:04Speaker 1: really trying to get into my bed, they laughed at
- 55:07Speaker 1: the idea. They said, an affair is just an affair.
- 55:11Speaker 1: They don't want to have to feed me or provide
- 55:13Speaker 1: any financial aid at all. One of my closest male
- 55:16Speaker 1: friends that I had sex with many years ago said
- 55:19Speaker 1: that sex is so free and open now that men
- 55:21Speaker 1: are getting in and out and moving on without ever
- 55:25Speaker 1: calling the woman again. I'm not ready for that, so
- 55:28Speaker 1: I just have to keep my goodies to myself. Okay?
- 55:33Speaker 1: Am I wrong to expect the cheater to make a
- 55:36Speaker 1: deal with the cheaty? Okay? What what is this all about?
- 55:42Speaker 1: I mean, this is a lot to unpack in this letter. First,
- 55:45Speaker 1: I have to commend you for leaving your raggedy husband.
- 55:48Speaker 1: What he did with your so called acquaintance in your
- 55:51Speaker 1: home and your shower was that was despicable. I mean,
- 55:54Speaker 1: really really low down. He left you with a lot
- 55:58Speaker 1: of choices, and I should say not a lot of
- 56:01Speaker 1: choices in this marriage. So by leaving him, you know,
- 56:05Speaker 1: how could you ever trust him again? Anyway? You should
- 56:10Speaker 1: know that you deserve better, and I think you do.
- 56:13Speaker 1: He walked in the bathroom by mistake, he said, yeah, right,
- 56:17Speaker 1: stop lying. The acquaintance, confessed loser, told everything. I'm sure,
- 56:22Speaker 1: but now I think you are selling yourself short. You
- 56:27Speaker 1: said you're beautiful, you said you're a buxom woman, and
- 56:30Speaker 1: you're obviously a kind person because you let that trick
- 56:33Speaker 1: that was in the shower staying with you so her
- 56:36Speaker 1: house could get painted. You have to be nice because
- 56:39Speaker 1: you let her stay in the first place. So you know,
- 56:42Speaker 1: now moving on to you wanting no strings attached, This
- 56:46Speaker 1: kind of arrangement with these men out here. Don't do that, Please,
- 56:50Speaker 1: don't do that. You don't want to do that, and
- 56:53Speaker 1: why you're you're not ready for that, You're still damaged goods.
- 56:57Speaker 1: You said that in your letter. You need to work
- 56:59Speaker 1: on yourself. Whether that means going to a therapist, going
- 57:03Speaker 1: to church, going to the gym, whatever that means. That's
- 57:06Speaker 1: what you need to do to work on yourself. I mean,
- 57:08Speaker 1: don't even consider this kind of deal hooking up with
- 57:11Speaker 1: these guys. It's like, this is not some sort of
- 57:13Speaker 1: game show. You're gonna lose if you do that because
- 57:16Speaker 1: you're not built for this. You need something real. You're
- 57:20Speaker 1: gonna get hurt in these so called deals. These guys
- 57:22Speaker 1: are gonna be onto the next and you're gonna be
- 57:25Speaker 1: the one crying. You know, you said you wanted a
- 57:30Speaker 1: decent man. Well, I don't think a decent man would
- 57:33Speaker 1: just want sex from you. He will want you, you know,
- 57:36Speaker 1: and he will want to give you things because it
- 57:38Speaker 1: makes you happy and not because you guys have some
- 57:41Speaker 1: sort of deal. That's where your mind should be right now.
- 57:44Speaker 1: I say, forgive, work on yourself, hold out for the
- 57:47Speaker 1: decent guy, that right man that you want who's going
- 57:50Speaker 1: to treat you the way you need to be treated, Steve,
- 57:53Speaker 1: good answer, surely I agree with everything you said perfectly. Fine, Mom,
- 58:00Speaker 1: I'm a little confused and let it or have us
- 58:03Speaker 1: some questions that are a couple of things I know
- 58:05Speaker 1: about me and that I'll be able to point out.
- 58:07Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a very beautiful and buxom female
- 58:14Speaker 1: in my mid forties and I'm divorced. Let me go
- 58:17Speaker 1: back to the weird. I'm very beautiful and buxhall. I'm
- 58:23Speaker 1: a buxom female. For those of you truck drivers and
- 58:28Speaker 1: brothers out there that have limited education as myself, let's
- 58:33Speaker 1: explore the word buxham. That means I'm heavy, chesty. That
- 58:38Speaker 1: means I'm luftuous, I'm wide rack, I'm i'm i'm I'm
- 58:43Speaker 1: I'm I'm top heavy, I'm i'm I'm blessed. Okay, I'm strong.
- 58:53Speaker 1: My headlights is on a high bean, we know what
- 58:57Speaker 1: it means. I just want I want to go over
- 59:01Speaker 1: with my brother says like me, Steve. You know I'm
- 59:04Speaker 1: Steven here for the real dudes out there. You know
- 59:07Speaker 1: I got a lot of truck driving, catch driving peptrin
- 59:09Speaker 1: coke trucks and beer trucks and stuff, and you know,
- 59:12Speaker 1: and we got to be clear about what we're talking.
- 59:16Speaker 1: She got all that working, and she mid forties and
- 59:19Speaker 1: she's very beautiful. Husband cheated on it because of an
- 59:23Speaker 1: acquaintance that she had. They stayed her two nights at
- 59:27Speaker 1: the house so her house could got painted, could get painted.
- 59:30Speaker 1: I was a knee. I was naive here the line
- 59:32Speaker 1: that threw me off. It didn't suspect anything, even though
- 59:35Speaker 1: I caught him coming out the bath room where she
- 59:37Speaker 1: was taking a show. What. Yes, Yes, I was naive,
- 59:43Speaker 1: even though I caught him coming out the bathroom where
- 59:45Speaker 1: she was taking a shot. Boy, come on, lady, you
- 59:49Speaker 1: trusted her? Man caught him coming out the bath room
- 59:52Speaker 1: where one was taking a shot. That don't stay there, one,
- 59:56Speaker 1: hold on, Hold on, hold on, hold on. We'll have
- 59:59Speaker 1: part two of your response. Steve coming up at twenty
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: three minutes to a half to be our today's Strawberry
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Letters subject Let's make a deal. We'll get back into
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening show, all right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry Letter, the subject Let's make a deal.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: Oh this beautiful, bucks on female. We went over bucks
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: on what that means. I won't spend a lot of
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: time on it. Just quickly th that's heavy, chisted, I luptuous, wide, ragged,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: its top, heavy is blessed, is high beam headlights. It's
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: all of these things. Glory to God. Or The reason
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: we're not getting much from our crowd here on the
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: Morning Show is because they've heard a Well, Shirley and
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: Carlin have heard all this before, molding Wanston probably familiar
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: with other terms I haven't thrown out. Now there's a
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: quiet one on this shoulder, very very quiet through this
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: whole day. Just move on, and I'm talking about you, Junior.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: Praise him. And So my husband cheated on me with
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: an acquaintance of mine that she let stay for two
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: nights at a house while the house is getting painted,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: and I was naive and didn't suspect anything. Here's the
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: line of lines from me, even though I caught him
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: coming out the bathroom where she was taking a shower.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: You ain't naive, you stupid, he said, he walked in
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: by mistake my dog. Well, that's the one out of
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: the fact that you were naive and didn't know it.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: I found out right after that because she confessed. So
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: she's been singing now for two years, and she's noticed
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: that married men and men with girlfriends they want to
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: play with her on the side. And then you know,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: then she says she's still damaged from the divorce. Right,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: and then she said it would be nice to have
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: sex with no strings attached with a decent man that's
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: being honest about his situation. Now surely said don't do that,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: and I would suggest you listen to Shirley. Here's where
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: I come here that I shared my thoughts with two
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: of my good friends. One is a man. He advised
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: me to get something out of the situation. If a
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: man guy won't sex on the side, He suggests that
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: I tell the guy I want a deal. The deal
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: could be anything that I want to need to be
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: happy with our arrangement, whether there's money or home cook
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: meal or weekly massage. I love this concept. Let me
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: back your forelor. This man, these couple of men that's
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: supposed to be your friend. This was not for you
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: to just take and run with him. He would suggest
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: this for himself. Oh oh, but if her friend he
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: didn't want to proposition you like that but he was
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: suggesting it for himself. He just needed to see how
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: you feel, because that's why y'all friends right now, because
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: you're beautiful and bucked him and he trying to lay
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: in the cut. He'd been waiting on this opportunity just
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: so when you came to him after two years of divorce.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: This was a suggestion for him. Okay, okay, that's how
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: men work, and men don't We not have any conversation
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: for nothing. We don't do nothing without purpose. Now, the ladiesaid,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: I loved this concept, but when I presented it to
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: the black men that were really trying to get into
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: my bed, they laughed at the idea. They said. The
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: fans just in the fair and they wanted and they
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: don't want to have to feed to provide me any
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: financial aid at all. We can't go to Okay, I
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: understand that, but you're in your mid forties. This is
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: available almost everywhere. What men are you meeting now? Listen
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: to this part. One of my closest male friends that
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: I had sex with many years ago. I out and
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: told y'all about these damn men friends. Yeah, I have
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: talked y'all. Get off for stuck on stupid. We are
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: your friends only because now one of my closest male
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: friends that I had sex with many years ago said,
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: the sex is so free and open now that men
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: are getting in and out and moving on without ever
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: calling a woman again. And I'm not ready for that now.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: The reason he told you that, it's because he has
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: sex with you a long time ago. But then you
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: wouldn't got married. But you think he forgot y'all hands sex? Huh?
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: You think he forgot that. You think when y'all sitting
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: around he don't remember having you? What? What man? You
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: talking to? Girl? Stop? So now he's set in his Hookah.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: Sex so free and open now, men getting in, out
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: and moving on. You know that's why this was a
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: suggestion from him. Yea. When a man is giving you
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: advice and looking at you and talking to you, he's
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: looking for an opening. This was another sexist free is open,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: They just do it a move on now, looking now,
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: we'd have done this before years ago. You just come
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: back and get it here. You can come get you
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: right here with me, free open. Let's don't do this,
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: get in and out got to cause nothing, That is
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: what his head. Then the ladies say so I've just
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: kept my goodies to myself. That's a good idea. Am
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: I wrong to expect the cheetah to make a deal
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: with the cheaty? Absolutely? Absolutely. They're called ben a film.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: They are available all over the place as the Bronze Yeah,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: the Silva, the Goal and the Platinum Package Olympics. Yeah guy.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: All right, all right, listen, leave your comments on Today's
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter on Instagram at Steve Harvey FM and check
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand. Coming up next,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: the Oscar slap. We'll talk about it yet again. We've
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: got some new intel right after this. You're listening to show,
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: all right, So, Steve. Wanda Sykes called out Will Smith
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: for slapping Chris Rock at the Academy Awards on Sunday
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: while visiting The Ellen Show. This was for a segment
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: to be aired on Thursday, April seventh. Of course, Wanda
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: was one of the hosts of the show. Wanda said,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: I just felt so awful for my friend Chris Um
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: and she said it was thickening. I physically felt ill,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: and I'm still a little traumatized by it. Take a listen.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: I hope he doesn't mind me saying this. But I
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: saw Chris at Guy's party. As soon as I walked
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: up to him, the first thing he said was I'm
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: so sorry, And I'm like, why are you positive? He's like,
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: it was supposed to be your night. It was supposed
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: to you and Amy and Regina, y'all were doing such
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: a great job. I'm so sorry this is now gonna
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: be about this because that's I mean, that's who Chris.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: Chris is. Yeah, Chris is a sweet guy. Yeah. Wow, Yes,
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: I'm telling you man, it's it's a bad mark on
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: this great night that should have been recognized for so
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: many things. It would have been a great knight for
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: him being recognized for his first Oscar. You know, it
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: could have been, but now it ain't. It ain't about
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: his first Oscar. It's about his actions, yeah, everything, including
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: him winning an Oscar yeah yeah, and will pacluting everyone. Yeah.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: And you know it's he chose that moment to act defensive. Now, look,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: I'm all about defending your wife honor. I'm all about that,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: but what what honor was? Where was the lack of
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: honor act? Because I'm telling you right now, Chris rock
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: knew nothing about her hair condition. He started to joke with, Hey,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: I love you Jada, but can't wait to see g
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: I Joe or whatever the joke or that was a
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: harmless I don't care what you say. I write jokes.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: I didn't stepped on some toes. That wasn't about nothing,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: and Will knew it was him, but he chose that
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: particular moment to just try to do some manly heroic act,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: which was completely assinine right to walk up down Nationale
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: where you know it's the only place you could slap
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: this black dude, turn your back, button your jacket and
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: walked back to your seat on National TV out to Oscar.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: Now you want somebody to keep your wife, name out,
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: your mother, I'll tell you what you slap. I'm telling you.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: I'm telling you. I can go down the list of
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: people you can't slap. No, damn well, give us three.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: But you couldn't have slapped none of the Kings. I'm
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: not St. Louis, not Chicago, not Cleveland, not comed You
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: couldn't have slapped now one of the Kings. Whole another show. No, Yeah,
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: they'd have had and it's on National Geographic. It would
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: have been so damn crazy. We'd have been on the
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: Animals Gone Wildly episode on Discovery Channel. That's how crazy
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: we gotta been there. But when did we get to
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: the play? We can't take a joke? All right, thank you, Steve.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, here's a
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: question for you. Think about this. If you guys ever
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: changed your voice or gone into another character doing sex, well,
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: Tyler Perry has, we'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, it's no secret
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: that Tyler Perry's media character has always been larger than life. Recently,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: while taking a light detector test for an online series
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Celebrities Due for Vanity Fair, the interviewer Tyler, do you
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: ever accidentally use Media's voice in conversation? Tyler initially answered never, No,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Then he quickly glanced at the polygraph examiner and said
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: sometimes once on occasion, okay, during sex. Perry burst out
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: with like, hello her, mimicking a moment when he used
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: Media's voice during sex. That's crazy, right, So yeah, So
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: the question is, have you guys ever done anything crazy,
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: you know, in another like character voice or something during sex?
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: Step Junior, Nope, You've never done anything crazy like that,
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: and another can no, whore here? Who all my efforts?
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: I know it's too much effort in my best work.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: I just mean now, so I play animal sound, bro,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: I mean get somewhere. Now what what what you did?
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: You didn't got real junger like hoping now like you
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: mad that like that's normal? Yeah? Oh my god, Oh
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: my god, oh my god. What yeah? Be that some
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: cussing going on in here? But it ain't made changing
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: no voices? What what have you done? You? I just
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: told you, you know, I do a lot of cousin,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: but you don't. You damn their thing? But da in
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: there if it's me, if I'm telling you can damn
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: near Thanks media, I hell, I hell, because your voice
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: is the tone here. You got to quit singing all that.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: I ain't a lot of stuff didn't happen, you know. Yeah, Hey,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: I'm fine with the animal sound. You like the sounds,
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: surely the animal you know how I am about my
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: animal sounds? Now you know my favorite y'all know I
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: love to hear a British accent because you know that.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: What damn gosh, I'm lad by y'all. Oh lord, I'm
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: on the way almost love, don't move, I'm almost down.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: What do I mean about I swing love switch chariot
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: comment to carry mahol, wonderful time, My god, love it.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: Anytime we're having you, every time we get together and
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: become physical, it's just such a wonderful I learned about
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: each other today. Small Right afterwards, I've got to have
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: a spot of tea. The moment I've done, where's my
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: pipe and my tea? Oh my god, Oh my god.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: As you're having bridget and moments all over the speaking
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: of Bridgeton, they're saying season two doesn't have a lot
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: of sexy and everybody's like, what the sex scenes? What's happening? Yes? Right,
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: they say they're having like suggestive season until they promised
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: to discover that some of the people and the thing
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: are black. Act. Wow, yeah, they're gonna suggest it. You're
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: gonna imagine, you know, think that they're doing it because
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: of how they started off. Then they'll cut it off.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this,

- 1:18:57Speaker 1: you rather have your mouth glued shut for a week
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: or would you rather have your eyes glued shut for
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: a week. I'm I'm I'm gonna have to see, but
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: I'm I do think what I was saying the black scene.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: If your mouth was glued, you gotta see, Okay, all right,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: last one, last one, last one? Would you rather be
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: a guest on Red Table Talk or have two root canals?
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: I'm sitting on Red table to day, Steve Harvey. All right,
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: coming up, Thank you guys, coming up our last break
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: of the day, and the forty nine minutes after the
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: our closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steven Show. All right,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: here we are, last break of the day before we
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: get to your clothing and all of that. Steve, on
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: what you rather Earlier I asked, would you rather be
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: a guest on Red Table Talk or would you rather
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: have two root canals? You chose Red Table Talk? Why?
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: Oh yeah, because I ain't. I've never been there. I
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: hate going to the dinner. But if I'm on red tabletop,
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: I'm on the interview. I've got both hands on the table,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: all fingers spread white. I'm ready with both hands on
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: top of the table. Uh huh, you're a comedian. What
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: are you gonna say? First of all, in is slapping
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: pop off my hands. I've been not seen it coming
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: because I'm blocking one block. I know what we're doing, feeling. Yes,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: you can you all. I'm at Red tabletop. Y'all can
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: ask me anything table, Red table? What's it called? Whatever?
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: Talk talk? Okay? Well, well, Steve, so glad you could
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: join us today. Um, I've been trying to get you
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: on the show forever. What made you come on today?
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: Your husband? What about? What about my husband? You mean? Well? Well, yeah, yeah,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: I was hoping he'd be here. Well, he does come
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: through sometimes. All right, we'll let him come through to day,
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: so we all come through. Yeah, yeah, because I got
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: a side of me that's gonna come through when he
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: come through. I'm here for Chris next. Yeah. Yeah, mister Harvey, Uh,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: I see you on Red Table Talk. You know the
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: incident had between Chris Rock and my husband Will Smith.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: So why are you on the show? Because I heard
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: on your radio show you said you wish it was you.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: That's exactly why I'm here. My wish has come true.
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: I'm as close as I'm gonna get to him, walking
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: in him. I just want to show the world. What
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: really happens when somebody gets slapped, you know, because I
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: don't care nothing. I have a career, you know, it's flourishing.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: You know, I got enough for I can go and
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: take a cancelation or two. I'm I'm ready for it.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: I'm just I just wanted to be here, you know.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: And are you expecting him anytime soon? Is that's why
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: you keep looking around at the door, you know. I
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: know we're taping this in y'all backyard at the Blue
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: House or whatever, But that's why my back ain't to
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: the dude I'm watching. I've been looking for him. I
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: saw the garden to go by, I thought it was him.
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: I got a little tight. Yeah. Oh okay, I have
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: a question for you, sir, Yes, okay. So usually people
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: they come on the show and they open up and
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: you know, we go deep and we talk about things
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: and they reveal things. When you know people didn't know
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: anything that you want to tell us, the famous Steve
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: Harvey anything, Well, I think nobody has known after the
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: incident between you and your husband and Chris rock Or.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: I haven't slept for two weeks. I can't sleep because
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: I keep seeing his hand coming towards me, and I
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: just I just I just can't rest. I just stops,
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: it just keeps me up. And you know, somebody told
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: me I needed therapy, But that's why I came on
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: the show because the only way I think I can
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: fix this if I see him. I don't really think
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: I need therapy. I just need some clarification on the
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: wush was this your hand in my dreams and years?
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: Can we act that out right now so I can
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: just move on with my life. Because here's here's another question. Yes,
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: because of what? Because of what? Thank you? Because of
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: what happened on Sunday with my husband slapping Chris and everything,
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: and thinking about going to the Academy and tell them
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: no more comedians, no more jokes at the accad at all,
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: because you never know. Yeah, you never know, Stiff. I
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: want to say something to you. I think part of
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: it is your fault, you know, if you really want me,
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: you know, because the joke wasn't that bad. He didn't,
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: He didn't really know nothing. He even he even opened
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: the show and said to you, I love you and
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: then said looking forward to g I jan two. That's
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: all it was. So why y'all want comedians out out
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: of all this hell, y'all all your all, your husband
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: never done it's funny still hitch you know hen COCKA
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: just don't understand Fresh Prince belair. You know sitcom didn't
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: Black Independence Day all in the funny ass thing. Y'all
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: you need a remake now now all of a sudden,
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: when when you know, now all a sudden, y'all want
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: comedy took out. Chris Rock was on the sitcom Fresh Prince. Yeah,
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: hell you he played Will Smith's date. Remember you remember that? Yes, yes, remember?
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: But I just think, you know, to keep the piece,
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: uh that comedians should be banned from coming on the show.
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: It shouldn't be funny or anything. Just hand out the awards,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: call the people's name and everybody go home. Wouldn't be
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: serious show. Oh oh oh oh oh oh. So you
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: want all the shows to be emmies. You want all
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: the shows be just like daytime emmies. I just think,
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: you know, for future reference, no one gets hurt, no
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: one gets slapped, just take all the jokes out that.
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: That's just my thoughts. So you won't you want you Smith?
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: You want to show this fully piece. That's what I'm
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: that's what I'm looking for. Peace piece is exactly what
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: I'm here for, A piece of yo. When that's back
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: to why do that? What? This whole thing is fault?
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: I know I'm laughing, but that's not funny. That's not
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: funny to me. I know I'm laughing, but that's not funny. Well,
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: your husband laughed at you joke at first, but then
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: he looked at me, were back to you? Had you
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: chuckled and laughed it off? We'd had a nice ass
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: oscar night, but oh no, you offended and stuff like that. Man,
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: we're done this episode of Hey, Yeah, Hey, y'all listen,
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: I have a wonderful day. Listen to me, don't forget
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: talk to God. He would love to him. For all
