- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know, y'all a suit looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them just like theming bus things and it's not good.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Steve to mother, don't join Jo. You gotta turn. You
- 1:24Speaker 1: got to turn to turn them out, got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: them out, to turn the water the water. Come come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your back. Uh huh. I show will good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You are listening to the voice, Come on, deeed me now,
- 2:09Speaker 1: one and only. Steve Harvey got a radio show, I
- 2:12Speaker 1: said every day because God been good to me. God
- 2:15Speaker 1: has done some things in my life that's truly been
- 2:18Speaker 1: just amazing. It really amazing. Ain't even really the word.
- 2:22Speaker 1: They don't really have a word for what He's done
- 2:25Speaker 1: for me. I'm just out of superlatives. That's why I
- 2:27Speaker 1: say it every day. Steve Harvey got a radio show
- 2:30Speaker 1: because God is in a blessing business. Yeah it is. God.
- 2:33Speaker 1: God can help you turn your life around. Did you
- 2:37Speaker 1: hear me? God can help you turn your life around.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Whatever you're going through. God has an answer for it.
- 2:44Speaker 1: See But it's the going through that gets us though,
- 2:46Speaker 1: ain't it. Because I was having a moment yesterday and
- 2:49Speaker 1: I set my wife down. I said, baby, I just
- 2:51Speaker 1: need to talk to him, going through a little bit
- 2:53Speaker 1: right now. I just wanted to share what I'm a
- 2:55Speaker 1: little down right now. My wife reminded me. She reminded
- 3:00Speaker 1: me to see this what a man. That's what a
- 3:03Speaker 1: good mate does. A good mate reminds you just of
- 3:08Speaker 1: things that sometimes you forget when you get off track.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Because you know, I consider myself a motivational type person.
- 3:17Speaker 1: I try to listen to people and then give them
- 3:20Speaker 1: something I've learned along the way on this journey I've
- 3:23Speaker 1: been on. I try to give a person a takeaway.
- 3:25Speaker 1: But even being that person, sometimes I get off track myself.
- 3:30Speaker 1: I get a little a little low. Sometimes, you know,
- 3:33Speaker 1: I get a little down. Sometimes I sometimes I forget
- 3:36Speaker 1: some of the stuff I say. And ain't that I
- 3:38Speaker 1: forget it. I guess I just get caught up in
- 3:42Speaker 1: the grind of doing it. And sometimes I get a
- 3:46Speaker 1: little off course and I forget some of the things
- 3:49Speaker 1: that my wife or a mate can be good for
- 3:53Speaker 1: you to remind you. And she just says, Steve, God
- 3:56Speaker 1: got us. She said, have you ever known, oldest that
- 4:00Speaker 1: every time you get in a spot And she say,
- 4:03Speaker 1: and I know how you must feel, because you're out
- 4:05Speaker 1: here working and and then you keep turning around and
- 4:08Speaker 1: and and and old stuff keep popping up, and you
- 4:12Speaker 1: get a call from your accounting and hit this then
- 4:15Speaker 1: went wrong, and not then when you steady trying to
- 4:17Speaker 1: fix it, but you steady going wild? Man, what does
- 4:19Speaker 1: this she say? But you ever noticed He always always,
- 4:24Speaker 1: no matter what, provide a way. And he ain't never
- 4:27Speaker 1: too late, or you might be going the deadline is approaching.
- 4:31Speaker 1: The deadline can come and pass, but then they have
- 4:35Speaker 1: a grace period for you. And then sometimes man, it's
- 4:38Speaker 1: just you go down now after the grace period and
- 4:40Speaker 1: they take the payment anywhere and you're good anyway. But see,
- 4:44Speaker 1: ain't that God bringing you through it. It may not
- 4:47Speaker 1: be when you want it, but he right on time.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Jazz before you get put out, jazz before they turn.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Maybe they cut the lights off, but you get it
- 4:55Speaker 1: back on. Jess Folk company, come or just before the weekend,
- 4:59Speaker 1: get here. See he always comes through for you. And
- 5:03Speaker 1: she had to remind me of that what you're going
- 5:06Speaker 1: through is necessary. Look, circumstance and hardships and pitfalls are
- 5:11Speaker 1: always untimely. If you keep the law of attraction and play.
- 5:17Speaker 1: If you keep believing that, that's that He gonna see
- 5:20Speaker 1: you through this, just like he do when you don't
- 5:22Speaker 1: believe it. That's what the old part is though, ain't it.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Ain't God brought you through even when you didn't really
- 5:30Speaker 1: had a faith to say he was gonna bring you through.
- 5:33Speaker 1: But because of grace and mercy he brought you through anyway.
- 5:36Speaker 1: But because you forgot to thank him, or you didn't
- 5:40Speaker 1: pay attention through to come through, you just was telling people, oh, man,
- 5:43Speaker 1: of you to see me. It was so jacked up. Man,
- 5:46Speaker 1: I was so turned up. I ain't know what I
- 5:48Speaker 1: was donna do. I almost got put out. I was
- 5:50Speaker 1: gonna see keyword almost. You forgot that part right there,
- 5:54Speaker 1: and then I was look like I won, man, and that,
- 5:57Speaker 1: and seemed like every month I go through this same thing.
- 6:00Speaker 1: And then yeah, yeah, then somebody ought to just say,
- 6:03Speaker 1: did you pay it? Yeah? I paid it? Did you
- 6:05Speaker 1: get put out? Now? I'm cool? See somebody See you
- 6:08Speaker 1: need somebody on your shoulder to say that to you,
- 6:10Speaker 1: And then you need somebody to come right behind him
- 6:13Speaker 1: and go, man, ain't God good? Really? Man? That's how
- 6:18Speaker 1: this works. See you you keep getting in situations, but
- 6:22Speaker 1: He keep getting you out. Now if you jump, look,
- 6:25Speaker 1: listen to me. Hold on. Let's say you in the
- 6:28Speaker 1: frying pan and the skillet and all is up and
- 6:31Speaker 1: you and that frying and you uncomfortable being fried God somehow.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Or let's just say you managed to get out of
- 6:40Speaker 1: the hot grease in the frying pan, and you standing
- 6:43Speaker 1: that next to the skillet, looking at the fire, continue
- 6:47Speaker 1: to heat the grease, you get out, and then for
- 6:50Speaker 1: some unexplainable reason, you dives right on back in there.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Ain't that how we usually do it? I'm just asking you, God,
- 7:00Speaker 1: get you away from the man you've been asking to
- 7:03Speaker 1: get away from. Then you go right back over there
- 7:06Speaker 1: and start seeing him again. It's amazing how many times
- 7:11Speaker 1: God get us out the fire and we walks right
- 7:14Speaker 1: back in there. Ain't it amazing? Man? I mean, really, man,
- 7:18Speaker 1: see this high break life down for me so I
- 7:21Speaker 1: don't get over here stuck on, stupid with myself, and
- 7:24Speaker 1: then get to doing something ignorant like blaming God, when really, man,
- 7:27Speaker 1: God has given us, as human beings, the power of decision,
- 7:30Speaker 1: and we all make decisions. How many times? Man? See,
- 7:34Speaker 1: sometimes it's a blessing and getting locked up. You can
- 7:37Speaker 1: ask a lot of cats I know, man to tell
- 7:38Speaker 1: you it was a blessing for me, man, because I
- 7:40Speaker 1: was just headed the wrong way, steady, but he locked
- 7:43Speaker 1: me up. Setting me down made me miss my family,
- 7:47Speaker 1: miss being out here being a free man, made me
- 7:50Speaker 1: realize that my family was important, made me. Man, really
- 7:53Speaker 1: see this girl for what she was. When I get out, Man,
- 7:56Speaker 1: I'm on a straight and narrow Well then when you
- 7:59Speaker 1: get out, though, See you can't be talking about no.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Oh man, I can't find no job. Now I'm gonna
- 8:05Speaker 1: go and do what I gotta do. No, no, no no, no, no, partner,
- 8:08Speaker 1: you got to do now what you're supposed to do.
- 8:10Speaker 1: See that don't do what you gotta do got you
- 8:13Speaker 1: in trouble in the first place. See everybody, see see
- 8:16Speaker 1: the hood got a lot of ignorant rules. We didn't
- 8:18Speaker 1: create it. I gotta do what I gotta do. I
- 8:20Speaker 1: gotta feed my family. Well, the only reason you gotta
- 8:22Speaker 1: do what you gotta do is because you didn't do
- 8:25Speaker 1: what you were supposed to do. See if you just
- 8:27Speaker 1: went on to school like your mama kept telling you.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Oh man, I was watching forty eight hours yesterday and
- 8:33Speaker 1: the dude named Nesto was on there, and Nesto Latino
- 8:36Speaker 1: Do said, Man, my mother told me quit hanging with
- 8:39Speaker 1: these guys. They were going nothing but trouble. I should
- 8:42Speaker 1: have listened to her. He doing thirty years right now.
- 8:46Speaker 1: You can't blame God. That's why I talk to myself
- 8:49Speaker 1: this way, so I don't get stupid and start shifting
- 8:52Speaker 1: to blame the wrong way when it's really on me.
- 8:55Speaker 1: How many times has God got you out of something
- 8:58Speaker 1: and you walk right back into it? Man, why don't
- 9:01Speaker 1: you take these blessings God give you and going about
- 9:03Speaker 1: your business? That be the best way to do it.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Don't you think That's what I think? So I thank
- 9:11Speaker 1: God my wife for reminding me that God got us anyway,
- 9:15Speaker 1: that God gonna pull you through anyway that. Have you noticed, Steve,
- 9:19Speaker 1: we ain't lost a beat. Oh. I know it's hard
- 9:22Speaker 1: out here, but really you ain't lost a beat. You're
- 9:24Speaker 1: still moving forward, You're still dressing nice, you still look
- 9:28Speaker 1: good when you come into that job. Everybody don't got
- 9:31Speaker 1: to know you. Your house is in bad shaping. All
- 9:34Speaker 1: that God got you, man, If you just hold your
- 9:37Speaker 1: head up, man, quit complaining all the time about what
- 9:41Speaker 1: you ain't got, and as in words of my daddy,
- 9:43Speaker 1: Slick Harvey, stop talking about what you ain't got and
- 9:46Speaker 1: take a good look at what you do. God, that's
- 9:48Speaker 1: improper grammar, but that always stuck with me and maybe
- 9:51Speaker 1: it'll stick with you. Quit talking about and look at
- 9:54Speaker 1: at what you ain't got, to take a good look
- 9:55Speaker 1: at what you do. God, you're listening. Show, ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: without further ado, it is time for us together as
- 10:08Speaker 1: we do every morning, and start to acting a damn
- 10:12Speaker 1: food It's a Steve Harvey markin show. All the crack
- 10:16Speaker 1: it for all of you. This is the Steve Harvey
- 10:21Speaker 1: Morning Show Home. That's it. I ain't got nothing to
- 10:27Speaker 1: go with it because yeah I didn't. I didn't think
- 10:29Speaker 1: it out, you know, I didn't think it all the
- 10:31Speaker 1: way out, and so I just didn't have nothing to
- 10:34Speaker 1: match it up with Shirley Strawberry. Hey, good morning Steve.
- 10:37Speaker 1: How you doing one time in the build it? Yeah,
- 10:41Speaker 1: go ahead, started the show. Yeah, that was exciting for
- 10:44Speaker 1: me too. Went nowhere, but it was an exciting It's
- 10:47Speaker 1: had promise and then it just ain't. No exits on
- 10:53Speaker 1: freeway foods. That's the marriage I've had. Yeah, I feel you, Steve.
- 10:57Speaker 1: I feel you ain't no exits the freeway of foolishness,
- 11:01Speaker 1: and it ain't no where to get off. Ladies and
- 11:05Speaker 1: gentlemen calling for real. Good morning, what's up Steve? What's up? Krill?
- 11:09Speaker 1: Welcome back? And a girl about that damn during your
- 11:14Speaker 1: boy morning? Everybody, welcome back, shirt, thank you? We got
- 11:19Speaker 1: what's up? Food? Stevens. Feel like I just left y'all
- 11:23Speaker 1: twenty minutes ago. I swear to god, it feels like
- 11:25Speaker 1: I got just I don't know why I do, because
- 11:27Speaker 1: you don't come here with a few times and that's
- 11:31Speaker 1: you can complaining about that all you want. Well, you know,
- 11:34Speaker 1: and really, man, I've discovered that's all we could take.
- 11:36Speaker 1: So that's all you know that both sides. Yeah, you
- 11:40Speaker 1: gotta have igness, got to come in, doc Yeah you
- 11:42Speaker 1: got you can't take it all one day. Yeah, it's doces.
- 11:46Speaker 1: So you know, I've learned to accept it. Man. Every day.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Well I'm like a Sunday. Yeah, man, it's just not
- 11:54Speaker 1: a lot of not a lot of difference in these days.
- 11:58Speaker 1: You know. They just listen and the nephew's off today
- 12:02Speaker 1: it's his birthday. Yes, it is happy birthday. Happy birthday. Nehew, Okay,
- 12:10Speaker 1: I have a joke and I'm not gonna do it.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Go ahead, we want to hear. No, no, know how
- 12:14Speaker 1: y'all do. When I'm not here, we laugh, y'all tell
- 12:17Speaker 1: him about the joke. So no, all right, I ain't
- 12:20Speaker 1: gonna tell him about the joke. What is it. I'm
- 12:22Speaker 1: gonna set it up and see if Steve can get
- 12:24Speaker 1: the joke. What kind of cake is he celebrating? Shout Kate. No,
- 12:33Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't tell him. It wasn't no, it
- 12:37Speaker 1: wasn't me. It don't take me long. I could put
- 12:41Speaker 1: it together, man, But dog, it couldn't have been no
- 12:45Speaker 1: better if you to text me down man say it.
- 12:50Speaker 1: No has to taste at it. And I'm telling you
- 12:54Speaker 1: where you are, man, little tiny strawberries, only strawberry. Okay, stop,
- 13:12Speaker 1: really that's funny, that's perfect right. That was down the court.
- 13:19Speaker 1: That was a no look pass right there, boy. But
- 13:21Speaker 1: the moment you said, let me see if you can
- 13:24Speaker 1: get it my ears perk. Alright, coming up with thirty
- 13:30Speaker 1: two minutes after the hour, We're gonna talk to Steve
- 13:33Speaker 1: about his two virtual graduation speeches over the weekend, and
- 13:36Speaker 1: we'll see if you can maybe squeeze in Steve and
- 13:39Speaker 1: ask the CLO question right after this, you're listening to
- 13:43Speaker 1: Steve Morning Show. Well, first, over the weekend, Steve, you
- 13:48Speaker 1: delivered two very inspirational and motivational speeches to the graduates
- 13:53Speaker 1: of twenty twenty. So congratulations on that. First of all,
- 13:57Speaker 1: I mean, that's awesome. You're always giving back always. I
- 14:01Speaker 1: just appreciate him asking me, you know, and how did
- 14:04Speaker 1: how did you do? How did it make you feel?
- 14:05Speaker 1: I know you were I mean I don't know, you know,
- 14:08Speaker 1: you know the thing you're doing a room by yourself.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I'm like a talking head. I'm used to talking in
- 14:12Speaker 1: front of what is and so being a talking head
- 14:15Speaker 1: is a little bit different from me. So I've gotten
- 14:18Speaker 1: some feedback, not much. You know, some people enjoyed it,
- 14:20Speaker 1: really appreciate it. That's all I really know. You know,
- 14:23Speaker 1: it'd be different if they were there in front of me.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I could tell how I did. But you know, just
- 14:28Speaker 1: talking to the computer was a little challenging for me.
- 14:31Speaker 1: President Obama getting really well, yeah, yeah, I think he's
- 14:36Speaker 1: used to that. I was sitting hey man, the whole
- 14:40Speaker 1: time I was looking at camera. I kept looking like
- 14:42Speaker 1: I was looking for somebody because you're used to speaking
- 14:47Speaker 1: eye to eye. Yeah, yeah, and getting and then I
- 14:53Speaker 1: spoken my my high school, my old high school. Yeah.
- 15:00Speaker 1: On Instagram, on social media, I am Steve Harvey TV.
- 15:03Speaker 1: That was so cool. How you surprised the kids? That
- 15:06Speaker 1: was Yeah? And I just happened to have one of
- 15:08Speaker 1: my high school T shirts. Yeah, you were rocking it too,
- 15:12Speaker 1: so I put it on you know. Yeah. Now it
- 15:16Speaker 1: wasn't one I had back then. Somebody had sent me
- 15:20Speaker 1: one a few years ago. That one wouldn't have got
- 15:23Speaker 1: over my head. Well, congratulations. As always, we just appreciate
- 15:32Speaker 1: the fact that kids love to give back, and that's
- 15:34Speaker 1: what you're all about, Steve. Always you mentor you give back,
- 15:37Speaker 1: you do those things. Well, now you ray continue helping
- 15:41Speaker 1: people as a clo. Yeah, this one, Steve is from Earl.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I know you love that name. Earl. Earl Earl from Gainesville, Georgia.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Earl says. My wife's mom has three grown kids living
- 15:56Speaker 1: with her and they're all trifling, won't wear masks, and
- 16:00Speaker 1: have not been practicing social distancing. My wife and I
- 16:03Speaker 1: agreed they could not come over to our house, and
- 16:06Speaker 1: last week, my wife's youngest sister tested positive for COVID nineteen,
- 16:09Speaker 1: and we're not surprised. My wife wanted to go check
- 16:13Speaker 1: on her. I told her if she did, don't come
- 16:15Speaker 1: back home. She left anyway, and while she was gone,
- 16:18Speaker 1: I packed up a few of her things and set
- 16:21Speaker 1: them outside and set them outside. Really, I won't let
- 16:26Speaker 1: her back in our house. I have asthma and no
- 16:28Speaker 1: health insurance right now because I got laid off. I
- 16:31Speaker 1: can't afford to get sick. Was I wrong to put
- 16:34Speaker 1: her out? No, but I think she was wrong to go.
- 16:39Speaker 1: I didn't you know, here's a deal. People that have
- 16:43Speaker 1: pre existing conditions have to be very careful. Your wife,
- 16:47Speaker 1: how do you go visit somebody with COVID nineteen who
- 16:50Speaker 1: does that? They're supposed to be quarantine. So now it's
- 16:55Speaker 1: not just her mother with the three grown kids that's ignorant.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Your wife then went to see her sister that has
- 17:02Speaker 1: the virus. You're not supposed to go see them. You
- 17:06Speaker 1: have to quarantine yourself. Now, if she comes back and
- 17:09Speaker 1: brings it back to the house, even if she doesn't
- 17:12Speaker 1: show signs, it's dangerous and your wife should have known
- 17:15Speaker 1: that true. I mean, I mean, how much TV you
- 17:18Speaker 1: gotta watch. It's everywhere. These rules are very simple. No
- 17:23Speaker 1: one can say I didn't know, well I didn't think. No,
- 17:26Speaker 1: you have to assume that they have it. And you
- 17:29Speaker 1: just said they don't wear masks, and they've tested one
- 17:32Speaker 1: of them tested positive. Well, okay, cool, so he wasn't wrong.
- 17:36Speaker 1: He has asthma and no health insurance. I think your
- 17:39Speaker 1: wife has to quarantine herself if she's gonna go visit
- 17:42Speaker 1: her sister. When she leaves her sister, she has to
- 17:44Speaker 1: go into quarantine for two weeks. This is major though,
- 17:48Speaker 1: that that is really a problem. All right, Steve, We're
- 17:51Speaker 1: moving on. Lexie, who is an iHeartRadio Apple listener, says,
- 17:55Speaker 1: I've been dating a great guy for a year and
- 17:57Speaker 1: he's a sex maniac. Of sex every day and it
- 18:01Speaker 1: can go on for hours. We have a good time
- 18:04Speaker 1: outside of the bedroom, too, and his daughter and I
- 18:07Speaker 1: have a great relationship. But I've never met his mom
- 18:10Speaker 1: or his child's mom. His daughter's birthday party is coming
- 18:13Speaker 1: up and I got all excited about going since I
- 18:15Speaker 1: helped to plant. He told me it's not a good
- 18:18Speaker 1: time for me to meet his family, and he said,
- 18:20Speaker 1: we have plenty of time for that. I've ignored his
- 18:22Speaker 1: calls for days, and he says, I'm being childish. I
- 18:25Speaker 1: need to know what he's hiding. Well, is what he's
- 18:30Speaker 1: hiding is at the house because you can't come over there,
- 18:36Speaker 1: horse over there. No, but you've been dating for you
- 18:39Speaker 1: and all y'all having is grade six for hours because
- 18:42Speaker 1: he got to keep you occupied. You restaurant, started looking around,
- 18:46Speaker 1: ask a question every day for hours? Who is Oh
- 18:51Speaker 1: my god, I'm telling you something right now. I've enjoyed
- 18:56Speaker 1: at being physically active throughout my life, but I don't
- 19:00Speaker 1: feel like it every day for hours hours. I just
- 19:05Speaker 1: you know, the game on. Come on, man, you ain't
- 19:13Speaker 1: even thinking about it no moment. I mean no, I'm
- 19:16Speaker 1: just trying to you know. I gotta go to work.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Need another check, Yeah, I need another check. So I
- 19:26Speaker 1: don't know what's he hiding. Whatever he hiding is over
- 19:29Speaker 1: that house. You can't go over there. That's why he'd
- 19:33Speaker 1: be just on you for hours. Come on, come on down,
- 19:38Speaker 1: stay focus, stay focused. We look at me right here.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I watch him. Come on, I'm doing I'm I'm doing
- 19:43Speaker 1: what you need. I'm doing what you need. Let me
- 19:45Speaker 1: see thirty five forty five, He would go our fifteen
- 19:48Speaker 1: here would go? I got time. Stop talking. Quit asking
- 19:51Speaker 1: me questions. I ain't got time for that. No, don't
- 19:54Speaker 1: how your mamma them? I ain't got no mama. Come on,
- 19:57Speaker 1: everybody got a mama. I didn't a child. Yes, all right,
- 20:06Speaker 1: so this was from Chica and Nashville Chicken says, hey, Steve,
- 20:10Speaker 1: I've been married for fourteen years, and I married the
- 20:13Speaker 1: same man twice. We got a divorce because he cheated,
- 20:17Speaker 1: and then he ran back to me crying and begging,
- 20:19Speaker 1: so I remarried him. Now he's got another girlfriend and
- 20:22Speaker 1: he's a different person. He no longer tries to hide it,
- 20:25Speaker 1: and he says I can leave if I don't like it.
- 20:27Speaker 1: We have three sons, sons, and that's easier said than done.
- 20:30Speaker 1: I can't take another bad divorce or splitting our family
- 20:34Speaker 1: up again. Am I supposed to sit around while he
- 20:36Speaker 1: has a chick on the side? All right, Steve, we
- 20:40Speaker 1: should take a pause here because we only have a
- 20:42Speaker 1: few seconds. You can respond. Can I come back and
- 20:45Speaker 1: respond to that? All right? All right, that's what we'll
- 20:48Speaker 1: do because I won't too. Now you do more CLLO
- 20:51Speaker 1: question and the response to the CLO question coming up
- 20:55Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening show, all right, ready, everybody?
- 21:01Speaker 1: Twenty minutes after the hour, R and B singer we
- 21:04Speaker 1: love him, He's family to us. Anthony Hamilton will be
- 21:06Speaker 1: our special guest. The reverend and the deacons are here.
- 21:11Speaker 1: But first, Steve, we had a question, a cello question.
- 21:13Speaker 1: We needed the answer. This is from Chica of Nashville.
- 21:17Speaker 1: She was married for fourteen years. She married the same
- 21:19Speaker 1: man twice. She divorced him, and then he came back
- 21:22Speaker 1: to her crying and begging, so she remarried him. Now
- 21:25Speaker 1: he has a girlfriend. He's a different person, she says.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Now he doesn't want to hide his girlfriend, and he
- 21:30Speaker 1: tells her she can leave if she doesn't like it.
- 21:32Speaker 1: She said, Am I supposed to sit around while he
- 21:34Speaker 1: has a chick on the side. I'm not understanding. She
- 21:37Speaker 1: doesn't want what the letter is about. You have a
- 21:40Speaker 1: man that you've married twice who obviously hasn't changed. That's
- 21:45Speaker 1: for starters. Secondly, he's got another girlfriend. He ain't trying
- 21:50Speaker 1: to hide her, and hedn't told you what if you
- 21:53Speaker 1: don't like it, you can leave? You sitting up in here, saying,
- 21:56Speaker 1: now you're sitting up in here saying that you don't
- 21:58Speaker 1: want to go through another bad divorce. Every time you
- 22:02Speaker 1: get a divorce is with him what you keep marying
- 22:06Speaker 1: him fault? Yeah, See, every time you get a bad divorce,
- 22:10Speaker 1: it's the same damn dude for the same damn thing.
- 22:15Speaker 1: So Chica, really, come on now, let's stop this marriage
- 22:18Speaker 1: round that's not working for you. Let him go? Yeah what, Yeah,
- 22:28Speaker 1: she's got to let him go. She's got to. You're asking,
- 22:31Speaker 1: I don't want another bad divorce. It's the same one,
- 22:34Speaker 1: and she's got a three sons. She doesn't want to
- 22:36Speaker 1: split up the family. Y'all don't even have to listen
- 22:39Speaker 1: to me when you go to court. You don't even
- 22:41Speaker 1: have to. You don't even you don't need a new witnesses.
- 22:44Speaker 1: You get had the same same trial y'all had the
- 22:48Speaker 1: first time. The only thing you have to change, only
- 22:52Speaker 1: thing different is a name, right right, that's all. Yeah,
- 22:58Speaker 1: she's got to get out of it, you're right, yeah, right,
- 23:01Speaker 1: all right? Time for the reverend church complaints. Change hats
- 23:07Speaker 1: real quick, Steve, we going to try to get through
- 23:12Speaker 1: this as quickly as possible. Deacon is out or fishing
- 23:19Speaker 1: now or the nasally sleepy, slow talking Reverend Adnoid will
- 23:33Speaker 1: be is he doing church complaints or as I'm complaining
- 23:36Speaker 1: about him, I'll be doing both. Okay, Well, boy, here,
- 23:40Speaker 1: didn't any haven't told you the whole good body, how
- 23:45Speaker 1: you do it? Good booted, I say, the boating, fine,
- 23:51Speaker 1: good good, trying to speed this up a little bit.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Well that that's not gonna happen. Okay, then it's not
- 23:57Speaker 1: gonna happen. Okay, just so you know that it has
- 24:01Speaker 1: come to our attention. It has come to our attention.
- 24:05Speaker 1: We're getting this is a complaint that the shouters who
- 24:08Speaker 1: normally shout at church are not being allowed to shout
- 24:13Speaker 1: on the zoom viral. They like, if you could sent
- 24:17Speaker 1: some time aside for them while you preach, so they
- 24:22Speaker 1: can shine, that's all they're asking. We're not having that
- 24:25Speaker 1: because shouting don't translate good on video, or most of
- 24:32Speaker 1: the shouters have entirely too much ass to have on
- 24:36Speaker 1: camel because it just covers the entire screen. Now, all
- 24:42Speaker 1: of a sudden, as you just got fabric on the
- 24:44Speaker 1: screen shifting, and it's not a good look for the
- 24:48Speaker 1: rest of the church, because now I look like service
- 24:50Speaker 1: over somebody cloth the curtain let me mark that down
- 24:54Speaker 1: as a note that I love it new Could you
- 25:01Speaker 1: please explain to our members that not only is school closed,
- 25:06Speaker 1: but Sunday School is closed to it's still dropping kids off.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Had not the genitors showed up over there to find
- 25:15Speaker 1: all these babies sitting in the lobby. Could you please
- 25:18Speaker 1: speak to these people who are dropping up their kids
- 25:19Speaker 1: from Sunday School. There is no Suda school because we
- 25:22Speaker 1: are unable to conduct or any type of educational facilitations
- 25:28Speaker 1: during the time of the COVID nineteen. So or everybody
- 25:33Speaker 1: that don't know the Lord, hold off. Now if you
- 25:38Speaker 1: get the virus, you're gonna need the Lord and you
- 25:41Speaker 1: can learn all you need to nobody near. But until
- 25:45Speaker 1: then the schools is closed of all consent. That means
- 25:48Speaker 1: all schools Bible schools, no Bible study, nah all that. Oh,
- 25:56Speaker 1: don't let me up. The only thing open is offering.
- 26:05Speaker 1: That's a that's another no hold on the markets down
- 26:09Speaker 1: All right, here we go. It has come to our
- 26:12Speaker 1: attention that doing the zoom and your Minister, that some
- 26:16Speaker 1: of these people are not really there. What they've done
- 26:20Speaker 1: is posted a picture of themselves on the computer, and
- 26:24Speaker 1: they somewhere doing whatever the hell they excuse me, whatever
- 26:27Speaker 1: they want to do. It's just a picture. We need
- 26:29Speaker 1: to find out who's doing this and how can we
- 26:32Speaker 1: stop it? Okay, well we are all We've not concerned
- 26:37Speaker 1: ourselves with that because posting pictures is twenty five dollars anyway,
- 26:43Speaker 1: so long as you make your contribution. But you ain't
- 26:47Speaker 1: got to be here for the sermon. Once we got
- 26:51Speaker 1: your twenty five, you click out. Well, they need to
- 26:59Speaker 1: be concer certing about their soul, but the twenty five
- 27:05Speaker 1: certainly go for forward for the soul, praise him in
- 27:14Speaker 1: the High House in the hour in the House of
- 27:17Speaker 1: the Lord. Since a lot of our members are older members,
- 27:21Speaker 1: as you is, as I is, as we all are,
- 27:25Speaker 1: as we all are, they the older members are complaining
- 27:28Speaker 1: that they can't really enjoy the service on the flip phones,
- 27:33Speaker 1: and they would like to know would you would you
- 27:37Speaker 1: be willing to buy them some updated phones. They have
- 27:42Speaker 1: jitterbugs that have flip phones in the only if they
- 27:46Speaker 1: can trade in and accept them for trade ins down
- 27:50Speaker 1: that Apple stove. And since they can't go to the
- 27:55Speaker 1: malls right now, this whole conversation is new and voided.
- 28:00Speaker 1: M But that's another yeah, a lot, a lot of
- 28:08Speaker 1: Deacon Richard Howard, Remember Richard Hollar would like the note
- 28:13Speaker 1: if he zooms in George meeting, is he zooms in
- 28:17Speaker 1: in the service while he's in the tube, could you
- 28:20Speaker 1: baptize him? That's what he would like to know. If
- 28:23Speaker 1: if he just comes online while he's in the tube
- 28:26Speaker 1: of cold, now baptize him. Baptisms Viral baptisms is one
- 28:33Speaker 1: hundred dollars. All right, thinks I can combine and do
- 28:45Speaker 1: the baptisms in people's bathtubs, but that's two fifty. Okay, comebine.
- 28:53Speaker 1: You must provide gloves and man, I'm not We're gonna
- 28:58Speaker 1: get out of here. Thank you, Reverend Lowtown and Reverend
- 29:02Speaker 1: and your mask must stay old when you submerge. Soon
- 29:06Speaker 1: as the mass pop off, I'm out. The rule coming
- 29:09Speaker 1: up in the top of the hour. We'll have some
- 29:11Speaker 1: entertainment and national news right after this. You're listening to
- 29:15Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up in twenty minutes.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Get ready because Anthony Hamilton will be our very special guest.
- 29:25Speaker 1: We can't wait for that. I can't wait to hear
- 29:27Speaker 1: his song. All of that, yes, but right now, in
- 29:31Speaker 1: today's trending entertainment news it very owned Steve Harvey, Lebron,
- 29:35Speaker 1: James Kevin Hart, and at President Barack Obama both They
- 29:40Speaker 1: all delivered inspiring speeches to the class of twenty twenty
- 29:44Speaker 1: and to HBCU graduates. Acknowledging that the graduates were faced
- 29:49Speaker 1: with some unusual circumstances with this COVID nineteen pandemic, President
- 29:53Speaker 1: Obama reminded us what a president should sound like, and
- 29:56Speaker 1: he urged, finally we have forgotten. He urged people to
- 30:04Speaker 1: be selfless, to work together to help those in need,
- 30:07Speaker 1: and to reject divisiveness, and he also talked about the
- 30:11Speaker 1: inadequacies of America's current leadership. Take a listen, please, You're
- 30:16Speaker 1: being asked to find your way in a world in
- 30:18Speaker 1: the middle of a devastating pandemic and a terrible recession.
- 30:23Speaker 1: The timing is not ideal, and let's be honest. A
- 30:26Speaker 1: disease like this just spotlights the underlying inequalities and extra
- 30:31Speaker 1: burdens that black communities have historically had to deal within
- 30:35Speaker 1: this country. We see it in the disproportionate impact of
- 30:38Speaker 1: COVID nineteen on our communities, just as we see it
- 30:41Speaker 1: when a black man goes for a jog, and some
- 30:43Speaker 1: folks feel like they can stop and question and shoot
- 30:46Speaker 1: him if he doesn't submit to their questioning injustice like
- 30:50Speaker 1: this isn't new. What is new is that so much
- 30:54Speaker 1: of your generation has woken up to the fact that
- 30:58Speaker 1: the status quo needs fixing. More than anything, this pandemic
- 31:02Speaker 1: is fully, finally torn back the curtain on the idea
- 31:04Speaker 1: that so many of the folks in charge know what
- 31:07Speaker 1: they're doing. A lot of them aren't even pretending to
- 31:10Speaker 1: be in charge. Wow, come back, And he didn't call
- 31:14Speaker 1: your name, so oh no, no, no, no, he responded immediately.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Trump had a heart attack when you said that. But
- 31:23Speaker 1: he don't have to say his name because my daddy
- 31:26Speaker 1: always said, if you throw a rock in a pack
- 31:29Speaker 1: of dogs, the one that halla is the one you hit. Ye.
- 31:33Speaker 1: And now I was about how yeah yeah uh. President
- 31:41Speaker 1: Trump meanwhile dismissed President Obama's President Obama's words and called
- 31:47Speaker 1: him grossly incompetent. What you got a lot of know
- 31:50Speaker 1: you're talking about yourself, you know, you know, and Jackson
- 31:57Speaker 1: bleached you know some light saw maybe you know, right, Junie,
- 32:02Speaker 1: he talks somebody in competent, grossly compets grossly, grossly in competent.
- 32:09Speaker 1: I don't think so they really do ye up all over? Wow, well, uh,
- 32:20Speaker 1: we're moving on because we're just moving on. Thank you,
- 32:23Speaker 1: President Obama and Steve and Lebron and everyone who stepped
- 32:27Speaker 1: up for the graduates. We appreciate all of that. All right,
- 32:31Speaker 1: Carlos here with some music news. What you got Carla, Well,
- 32:35Speaker 1: you know, it was another battle over the weekend, Shirley
- 32:38Speaker 1: Nellie versus Luda. Yeah. Now, Nellie he had some technical issues.
- 32:44Speaker 1: There were a lot of severe thunderstorms in Saint Louis area,
- 32:49Speaker 1: so it took a minute for Nellie to get his
- 32:51Speaker 1: WiFi together. But Nellie came back. He did his thing
- 32:54Speaker 1: hot in year dilemma air Force ones and then Luda
- 32:58Speaker 1: stand up. What's no fantasy throat and bows? Yes, so
- 33:02Speaker 1: that hospitality, Yes, so that's cool. I love it. It's cool.
- 33:07Speaker 1: It's cool, all right, So lu I'm enjoying the battles. Yeah. Well,
- 33:12Speaker 1: uh wow, time to get caught up on today's headline, Steve,
- 33:15Speaker 1: we're moving let's go, ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne Trimp,
- 33:19Speaker 1: thank you very much, and here's the news on this
- 33:21Speaker 1: Monday morning. Everybody The House of Representatives is awaiting action
- 33:25Speaker 1: this week on yet another coronavirus stimulus package, a three
- 33:28Speaker 1: trillion dollar bill passed last week. However, the measure is
- 33:32Speaker 1: not expected to pass the GOP control Senate, as there
- 33:35Speaker 1: were two sides to the argument in the House one expects,
- 33:38Speaker 1: one expressed by House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, the other
- 33:41Speaker 1: by Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Instead of going big, it seems
- 33:44Speaker 1: you went crazy. This is a political messaging bill that
- 33:47Speaker 1: has no chance of becoming law. This is a very
- 33:50Speaker 1: strategically planned piece of legislation that is tailored strictly to
- 33:56Speaker 1: meet the needs of the American people arting the coronavirus pandemic.
- 34:02Speaker 1: This new measure directs funding to state and local governments,
- 34:04Speaker 1: frontline workers, and families. Senate Republicans expected to push a
- 34:08Speaker 1: batch of right wing judge ships through instead and then
- 34:11Speaker 1: go into recess for the Memorial Day weekend. President Trump
- 34:14Speaker 1: has fired the State Department's Inspected General. The White House
- 34:17Speaker 1: says Secretary of State Mike Pompeo recommended it. This latest
- 34:21Speaker 1: firing of federal watchdog has prompted both the House and
- 34:23Speaker 1: Foreign Affairs and the ranking member of the Senate Committee
- 34:26Speaker 1: on Foreign Relations, both Democrats to launch investigations into Trump's
- 34:30Speaker 1: firing of State Department Inspector Steve Lennock, but Lennox's dismissal
- 34:34Speaker 1: has even met with skepticism from some Republican lawmakers, like
- 34:38Speaker 1: I was Chuck Grassley, who says Trump has to provide
- 34:41Speaker 1: details to Congress as to why Lenoch was removed. The
- 34:45Speaker 1: viral video of the shooting of unarmed Georgia Jagar Ahmad
- 34:48Speaker 1: Aarbury apparently was first leaked to the press at the
- 34:52Speaker 1: request of the father now accused of his murder because
- 34:55Speaker 1: he thought it would make him and his son look better.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Believe it or not, the young mister Arbery was when
- 35:00Speaker 1: he was chased and confronted by two white men. An
- 35:02Speaker 1: ensuing struggle, he was shot to death. The attorney represent
- 35:06Speaker 1: the alleged gunman, Travis McMichael, is Jason Sheffield, who wants
- 35:10Speaker 1: people to suspend judgment until all the facts are in.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Travis has a presumption of innocence. That presumption of innocence
- 35:17Speaker 1: follows him from now throughout the course of this trial. Well,
- 35:21Speaker 1: of course, Amed Aubrey's family finds that that statement is
- 35:23Speaker 1: sadly absurd since their attorney says, we only wish that
- 35:26Speaker 1: his client had provide the same presumption of innocence to
- 35:29Speaker 1: Ahmed Aubrey before chasing him down and killing him. By
- 35:32Speaker 1: the way, the families lawyers giving new details about that
- 35:35Speaker 1: surveillance video showing Aubrey inside of a house under construction.
- 35:38Speaker 1: You see him like running in and running out. They
- 35:40Speaker 1: say the homeowner has verified that Ahmah did not take anything.
- 35:43Speaker 1: He only drank some water from a sink before continuing
- 35:47Speaker 1: on his run. Now, there's been announced that the architect
- 35:50Speaker 1: Rock and Roll a Little Richard to be buried on
- 35:53Speaker 1: the campus of Oakwood University and the historically black University
- 35:56Speaker 1: in Huntsville, Alabama. Services to take place on Wednesday, and
- 36:00Speaker 1: they will be private. Now back to the Steve Harvey
- 36:02Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening show, Hey, listen up. Everybody has
- 36:07Speaker 1: promised we got our special guests this morning. He's a
- 36:10Speaker 1: Grammy Award winning sing a song right to Produce an author.
- 36:14Speaker 1: I didn't even know this man. This is a huge figure.
- 36:17Speaker 1: This man has sold over fifty million albums. What yes
- 36:25Speaker 1: you hear me? And he's back and he's got a
- 36:30Speaker 1: new single out. I've heard it. Oh my god, it's
- 36:33Speaker 1: called back Together. Everybody, you're gonna hear the song right here.
- 36:36Speaker 1: This morning, we're gonna find out what else is going on. So,
- 36:39Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, please welcome to Steve
- 36:42Speaker 1: Harvey morning to show our very own family member, the
- 36:45Speaker 1: one and only Anthony Hamilton. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, welcome. Aw
- 36:53Speaker 1: y'all doing yeah? Good, good, hey man. So how are
- 36:57Speaker 1: you handling the pandemic and everything? Staying out the way?
- 37:03Speaker 1: That's smart? You know. I got my three boys, dear man,
- 37:07Speaker 1: and you know, cooking and cleaning and online school stuff,
- 37:10Speaker 1: and that keeps me pretty busy, staying healthy, plenty of
- 37:16Speaker 1: herbs and vitamins and good fruit and stuff like that.
- 37:19Speaker 1: We take nice bike ride pretty much every lease about
- 37:23Speaker 1: five times a week. Oh yeah, for like an hour
- 37:25Speaker 1: and change. Yeah, okay, good man. That keeps me from
- 37:30Speaker 1: jumping on him. So, Anthony, are you helping out with
- 37:36Speaker 1: the school work? Man? I got to yeah, you know,
- 37:40Speaker 1: in the beginning of the first week, it was like,
- 37:42Speaker 1: oh boy, that left side of the brand or right that,
- 37:46Speaker 1: whichever one I had been using in a while. I
- 37:48Speaker 1: had to I had to dust it off. I ain't
- 37:54Speaker 1: got nothing to dust talk you come over here, want
- 37:56Speaker 1: some damn less like I did. Man, it was it
- 38:01Speaker 1: was challenging in the beginning, but I learned a lot,
- 38:04Speaker 1: you know, a lot of patients through this whole thing,
- 38:06Speaker 1: and I ain't had to whoop nobody. I had to
- 38:09Speaker 1: jack him up a little bit. Yeah, a little bit
- 38:12Speaker 1: of material. You put all that, you put all the
- 38:16Speaker 1: shirt fabric under their chin form. Yeah, you're just gathered it.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Gather up. Let me let me talk to you a
- 38:25Speaker 1: little close. You know, I'm trying to make one of
- 38:27Speaker 1: them church fans out of here, you know, the one
- 38:29Speaker 1: that hey, man, listen, we're gonna we're gonna we're gonna
- 38:36Speaker 1: bring you back in just a minute. But right, but
- 38:38Speaker 1: but but we're gonna talk about it for just a second.
- 38:41Speaker 1: Back together as your first single in two years, man,
- 38:44Speaker 1: and it features the late great Rick James. Tell us
- 38:48Speaker 1: about that, man well, being a big fan of Rick James,
- 38:51Speaker 1: Super Freak, Fire and Desire and uh Ebony Eyes, just
- 38:56Speaker 1: all those great songs. Man Knife Wonder was playing with
- 38:59Speaker 1: this music and I heard Rick James boys, and I
- 39:02Speaker 1: was like, we have to use this. It just felt good.
- 39:06Speaker 1: It felt good to me. It felt like like the
- 39:08Speaker 1: continuation of the best of me. I wrote it in
- 39:10Speaker 1: a way to where Rick jameson sing along with me,
- 39:12Speaker 1: me and Hitty Kane. Okay, we'll listen to this when
- 39:16Speaker 1: we come back. We're gonna hear it right here on
- 39:19Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Back Together Everybody with Anthony

- 39:43Speaker 1: call back Together with Rick James. So Anthony, warn't you
- 39:46Speaker 1: set the song up? Man, Harvey Nation. This is Anthony
- 39:50Speaker 1: Hamilton and I'm back to the new single Back Together
- 39:52Speaker 1: featuring and Rick Jane. It was a new You never
- 40:01Speaker 1: get so much for giving you my hearties. We promise
- 40:16Speaker 1: we never grow apart. I knew you never was good.
- 40:26Speaker 1: So much love in you, so hard we go through
- 40:38Speaker 1: things anyway, it makes it hard for you to get
- 40:49Speaker 1: Why keet it off? Just change? But can we just
- 40:56Speaker 1: get back again? Why can't and we to loves together,
- 41:04Speaker 1: Lovely last forever? Can we just get back? Yeah, lonely
- 41:23Speaker 1: nights forever, but a lonely night about love and last
- 41:29Speaker 1: forever to it all, it was love from the start,

- 45:17Speaker 1: Frank to me, whose baby is it? Don't worry about
- 45:23Speaker 1: It's something I need to take care. I talked to man,
- 45:25Speaker 1: I speak to Terry. My name is Darrel. Damon is
- 45:29Speaker 1: my brother. I don't live in Dallas where y'all live.
- 45:31Speaker 1: That I'm the one that live out of town. But
- 45:33Speaker 1: we didn't have a family meeting and talked about it.
- 45:36Speaker 1: And uh, I know Travis is your son. He eight
- 45:39Speaker 1: years old. But the problem is the reason why i'm
- 45:42Speaker 1: calling you, Terry is called we didn't found out that
- 45:47Speaker 1: Travis ain't none of Damon's child. Travis ain't none of
- 45:52Speaker 1: damon child when he'd been paying you child support here
- 45:54Speaker 1: for the last eight hold on, you said your name
- 45:57Speaker 1: was who I'm Darrel, I'm damon brother, and who gave
- 46:00Speaker 1: you this information? We all have found the information out.
- 46:03Speaker 1: We actually gonna go down there to the courthouse and
- 46:05Speaker 1: get all this stuff rectified. But we didn't found out
- 46:08Speaker 1: that Travis ain't ain't none of Damon's child, and he've
- 46:12Speaker 1: been sitting up here sending you money seven to eight
- 46:14Speaker 1: hundred dollars a month and this child ain't even here. Now,
- 46:17Speaker 1: I hate for Travis to find this out, and he
- 46:19Speaker 1: gonna have to find it out, but he ain't fified that.
- 46:23Speaker 1: Why are you calling me? Look, the family didn't had
- 46:26Speaker 1: a meeting, and I'm the one that they decided to
- 46:28Speaker 1: make the phone call and tell you what's going on now,
- 46:30Speaker 1: don't you You You don't have a damn thing to
- 46:33Speaker 1: do with this. You You ain't nobody daddy over here.
- 46:35Speaker 1: So I'm not sure what you're calling for. Who God
- 46:38Speaker 1: made you key or wanted you to be head in
- 46:41Speaker 1: charge to call but that it's not gonna work out.
- 46:43Speaker 1: But let me why why are you doing this to
- 46:45Speaker 1: my brother? That's what I'm saying. For eight years, the
- 46:48Speaker 1: man been sitting you seven hundred seven dollars a month
- 46:50Speaker 1: and and this ain't even his child. Well, you know,
- 46:55Speaker 1: why why am I even talking to you? I'm not
- 46:57Speaker 1: really sure. Your brother need to call me if he
- 46:59Speaker 1: has any problems of questions. You have a good day. Hello,
- 47:06Speaker 1: you don't hang No, damn phone up on me. Damon
- 47:08Speaker 1: told me the last was hard headed anyway. Now, look,
- 47:12Speaker 1: you know what you got the wrong one, baby, Like
- 47:14Speaker 1: I'm trying to not lose all my religion today, but
- 47:17Speaker 1: you're about to make me lose it on your You
- 47:20Speaker 1: don't know who you know it over here. So like
- 47:22Speaker 1: I said before, my fund your nephew that you're trying
- 47:26Speaker 1: not to claim over there. I don't know why you
- 47:28Speaker 1: came from wherever the here. You said you came from
- 47:30Speaker 1: the Dallas to try to I came from California down
- 47:33Speaker 1: here to Dallas, and I'm telling you need to take
- 47:35Speaker 1: your bath. I'm back to California because down here if
- 47:37Speaker 1: you don't know me like that, No, I don't know you,
- 47:39Speaker 1: but I'm fending know you and Travis beend to know
- 47:42Speaker 1: that my brother ain't his daddy. No, I don't know
- 47:45Speaker 1: you know, you need to talk to your brother again.
- 47:47Speaker 1: That's what you need to do. And you don't need
- 47:48Speaker 1: to be talking to me. You've been to send us
- 47:50Speaker 1: all the money and my brother didn't set y'all. I
- 47:56Speaker 1: and when I do. Look when I said, when I
- 47:58Speaker 1: sent all that eight years worth of money, you're gonna
- 48:01Speaker 1: sit every dime back because it belonged to my brother.
- 48:03Speaker 1: That ain't my brother. Child. Now we ain't got time
- 48:05Speaker 1: to be going on. No Maury pover showing nothing to
- 48:08Speaker 1: find out who you know what? Like I said, you
- 48:10Speaker 1: picked the wrong one. It'd be your best been not
- 48:13Speaker 1: to call me anymore. You actually it is a good
- 48:15Speaker 1: thing that you call because if you can't knocking on
- 48:17Speaker 1: my bell, you to got y'all with to day. No
- 48:19Speaker 1: you go, that's my second thing I'm thing to do
- 48:22Speaker 1: if we can't rectified over the foul. I don't have
- 48:24Speaker 1: a problem coming over there, knocking down some dos and
- 48:27Speaker 1: getting some questions answered, because dammon, this ain't Damon's baby.
- 48:31Speaker 1: Obviously you must wish it was yours. So you're taking
- 48:33Speaker 1: so much entry. No, it ain't mine, but but it
- 48:36Speaker 1: ain't Damon's either, And we got to my head any
- 48:39Speaker 1: and looking for from But I'm sorry this was taking
- 48:42Speaker 1: over here and Damon, where we continue to play? When
- 48:44Speaker 1: you owe, Damon, don't open that's a fall with your
- 48:47Speaker 1: brother's night. I want to play. I'm sorry, he's gonna
- 48:50Speaker 1: continue to play and you can call wherever you want
- 48:52Speaker 1: to come, do whatever you want to do. So go
- 48:54Speaker 1: back and tell your mama and everybody else who's waiting
- 48:57Speaker 1: for this meeting, to let them know it ain't having me. Look,
- 49:00Speaker 1: my mama ain't got nothing to do with it. Mama been,
- 49:02Speaker 1: but your mama. You said, your mamma, law, y'all got
- 49:05Speaker 1: to get us. She the same like that. I'll see
- 49:07Speaker 1: where you get it from. You're just like her. Mamma
- 49:09Speaker 1: knows that y'all from nosing people money, y'all damn business.
- 49:12Speaker 1: That's a g man. That ain't. My mama said it
- 49:15Speaker 1: from the get go, that it wasn't hunting, that it
- 49:17Speaker 1: wasn't day when him. I mean your mama the two
- 49:19Speaker 1: faced lock, because you're all with your mamma said, you
- 49:21Speaker 1: ain't been to sit here and bring my mama up
- 49:24Speaker 1: in this well. If you know so much, then you back,
- 49:26Speaker 1: come back on my ball, comeack on my bare if
- 49:28Speaker 1: you want to. We didn't done. The man seven hundred
- 49:30Speaker 1: and fifty dollars times twelve then times eight is seventy
- 49:35Speaker 1: two thousand dollars. That's how much money. And my brother
- 49:38Speaker 1: didn't send you and that's how much we want back.
- 49:41Speaker 1: And I need you to get the working on this money. Nah, okay,
- 49:45Speaker 1: why don't you come over here and get it? Don't
- 49:47Speaker 1: get your woop today, Terry, come on over here. You
- 49:50Speaker 1: don't see you on your things? If you you in
- 49:52Speaker 1: Dallas when I don't care nothingbody but I'm in no Dallas.
- 49:56Speaker 1: You ain't Joanna for you? So what I don't even
- 49:58Speaker 1: know what they're here. I don't even gonna away for
- 50:00Speaker 1: my time talking to you. Like I said, your brother
- 50:03Speaker 1: is a week if he got to call you, y'all
- 50:06Speaker 1: had I'm eating and you got to be the one
- 50:07Speaker 1: to call. I'm not really understanding. Look, I got one
- 50:10Speaker 1: more thing I need to say to you. As you
- 50:12Speaker 1: listening to me, you know you know my damn nerves.
- 50:14Speaker 1: That's what you're doing. You respect me? Are you listening
- 50:17Speaker 1: to me? What that's this? Nephew timing from the Steve

- 51:38Speaker 1: celebrate it is Tommy's birthdake birthday? Yea question? What type
- 51:45Speaker 1: of cake would he be celebrating with? Come on, s
- 51:48Speaker 1: and I'm talking about Without hegitation, it was wasn't the

- 54:20Speaker 1: the nephew is out today. It is his birthday. He
- 54:23Speaker 1: is celebrating somewhere. Yes, he's celebrating, So Junior's in for
- 54:28Speaker 1: the nephew. Junior, all right, ladies, and Dan's time for
- 54:31Speaker 1: the strawberry later. My good friend Shirley Stronger. Thank you, Junior.
- 54:35Speaker 1: Subject he has two wives and two separate lives. Dear Stephen, Shirley,
- 54:40Speaker 1: I am twenty two years old and I recently graduated
- 54:43Speaker 1: from college, so I'm quarantine at my parents' house. They
- 54:47Speaker 1: have been married for thirty seven years and the marriage
- 54:50Speaker 1: has been rocky since I was a little girl, but
- 54:53Speaker 1: they are still together. My father works out of the
- 54:56Speaker 1: country for two months every year, so that gives my
- 54:59Speaker 1: mother a break from him. In late March, I found
- 55:02Speaker 1: out that my father was not only working while he
- 55:05Speaker 1: was overseas, he had started a whole new life. I
- 55:09Speaker 1: overheard my dad on the phone saying he was miserable
- 55:12Speaker 1: at home and he was only staying in the marriage
- 55:15Speaker 1: until after he walks me down the aisle. My wedding
- 55:19Speaker 1: is planned for December, and my dad is supposed to
- 55:21Speaker 1: give me away. Well, not anymore. All of that has changed.
- 55:26Speaker 1: I told my dad I heard his phone call and
- 55:28Speaker 1: he told me it was a male friend. I got
- 55:31Speaker 1: his phone and I called the last number he dialed.
- 55:34Speaker 1: It ended up being a woman that lives in Brazil,
- 55:38Speaker 1: and she told me that she's heard all about me
- 55:42Speaker 1: and she knows that my parents are still married. Wow.
- 55:47Speaker 1: She told me that she is also married to my
- 55:50Speaker 1: father and that they got married two years ago, but
- 55:53Speaker 1: she's being patient with my father while he prepares to
- 55:56Speaker 1: divorce my mom and then moved to Brazil. I told
- 56:00Speaker 1: my father that I talked to his second wife, and
- 56:03Speaker 1: he got white as a ghost. I threatened to tell
- 56:06Speaker 1: my mom if he didn't tell her. He apologized, and
- 56:09Speaker 1: he told me this was grown folks business, and I
- 56:12Speaker 1: need to stay in my place. I told him he
- 56:15Speaker 1: is not welcome to come to my wedding and I
- 56:17Speaker 1: want nothing else to do with him. He told me
- 56:21Speaker 1: it is complicated, but he respects my wishes. We are
- 56:25Speaker 1: quarantine with a big secret, and my mom does not
- 56:28Speaker 1: have a clue that her marriage is over. My father
- 56:31Speaker 1: simply does not care anymore anymore. What can I do? Wow, well, man,
- 56:41Speaker 1: this is big. I mean, you ask what can you do?
- 56:44Speaker 1: I don't know that there's a lot you can do.
- 56:47Speaker 1: I don't know that that there's a whole lot you
- 56:49Speaker 1: can do, because you know it's your father who's mess
- 56:54Speaker 1: things up. But anyway, let me just say this. Your
- 56:59Speaker 1: father was right about one thing. Okay, he was right
- 57:02Speaker 1: about this. This is very much grown folks business, very much.
- 57:08Speaker 1: They're grown, your mom and dad. But guess what, you're
- 57:11Speaker 1: grown too. You're twenty two years old. You're grown. This
- 57:15Speaker 1: is your business too, This is family business. These are
- 57:19Speaker 1: your parents. I think he owes it to you, and
- 57:22Speaker 1: he owes it to your mom, his wife of thirty
- 57:24Speaker 1: seven years. He owes you guys an explanation. What he
- 57:28Speaker 1: did doesn't just affect him, Okay, it affects the entire family.
- 57:33Speaker 1: This is a family matter now. That means Mama, daddy, you, everybody.
- 57:39Speaker 1: Your mom shouldn't be kept in the dark on this.
- 57:41Speaker 1: She really shouldn't. Whether the marriage has been rocky since
- 57:44Speaker 1: you since you were a little kid or what, and
- 57:47Speaker 1: it's still rocky, that doesn't matter. This is going to
- 57:50Speaker 1: devastate her. This news is going to devastate her. By
- 57:54Speaker 1: the way, having two wives is illegal in the US.
- 57:58Speaker 1: I don't know about Brazil ill, but I definitely know
- 58:01Speaker 1: it's illegal in the US. And it's so sad because
- 58:05Speaker 1: you want your dad to walk you down the aisle
- 58:08Speaker 1: on your wedding day, and that's usually what dads do.
- 58:14Speaker 1: But you've asked him out of the wedding, so it's
- 58:17Speaker 1: already affected more than just him, it's affected you. You
- 58:20Speaker 1: don't want to have anything to do with him anymore.
- 58:23Speaker 1: Like you say, you're quarantine in the house with this
- 58:25Speaker 1: big old secret going on now between you and your dad,
- 58:31Speaker 1: the other wife, and the mother who knows nothing. She's
- 58:34Speaker 1: clueless somebody's gonna have to break it to her. And
- 58:38Speaker 1: if your dad doesn't step up and be a man
- 58:40Speaker 1: and tell your mother, his wife of thirty seven years,
- 58:44Speaker 1: what's going on? You know, I say you would have
- 58:47Speaker 1: to do it if you were a girlfriend or a neighbor.
- 58:50Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, because I would say that,
- 58:52Speaker 1: because I don't think her mom should be in the
- 58:55Speaker 1: dark on this one. Somebody has to tell her that
- 58:58Speaker 1: her husband has a whole other life in a whole
- 59:00Speaker 1: other country. She's got to find out. And if he
- 59:03Speaker 1: doesn't tell her, you step up and do it. That
- 59:06Speaker 1: is my advice. Now, I know Steve is going to
- 59:08Speaker 1: disagree with me on that because he doesn't believe in telling.
- 59:12Speaker 1: But this is a family situation going on right here,
- 59:15Speaker 1: and you're involved, all right, Steve. Well, this is a
- 59:20Speaker 1: very very difficult letter. This is very very difficult because, Okay,
- 59:27Speaker 1: here's a twenty two year old that's graduated. She's in
- 59:30Speaker 1: quarantine with her parents of thirty seven years marriage and
- 59:33Speaker 1: they've had a rocky, you know, relationship every since, and
- 59:37Speaker 1: so but she found out that her father not only
- 59:41Speaker 1: works overseas, that he has a whole new life over there.
- 59:45Speaker 1: She overheard her dad on the phone, saying that he
- 59:49Speaker 1: was miserable at home and he was only staying in
- 59:51Speaker 1: the marriage until after he walks me down the aisle.
- 59:54Speaker 1: My wedding is for December, and my dad is supposed
- 59:57Speaker 1: to give me away. Well not any more. Wow. Now,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: I guess I would want to say, what does walking
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: you down the aisle have to do with any of this?
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: But then I guess I can understand. You're a young girl,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: a young woman, You hurt for your mother, you found
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: out some information. But when we come back, I'm gonna
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: tell you what I really think is going on with
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: your dad, all right, being a little bit different home,
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Hold on to that. We'll have part two of your
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Subject for today he has two wives and two separate lives.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: to show, all right, Steve, Come on, let's recap today's
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Strawberry Letters. Subject he has two wives and two separate lives.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: All right. This twenty two year old young woman has
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: graduated from college in Quarantine with her parents, has been
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: married for thirty seven years. They've always had a rocket relationship.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: She overheard her father talking on the phone the other
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: day to someone claiming that he felt that he was
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: miserable and he was only standing in the marriage until
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: after he walks the lady down. The twenty two year
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: old is writing the letter. She says that her wedding
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: is in December and her dad is supposed to give
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: me away, and then she says, well not anymore. Well
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: quite naturally, I would want to go what does that
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: have to do with anything? Because you're mad at your
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: dad because you found out a secret about him. But
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: then let me follow let me show you how this
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: secret work. You told your dad that you heard his
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: phone call. He told you was a male friend. You
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: got your dad's phone. You would have never got that
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: phone from me. You got your dad's phone, and you
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: die the last number back. It ended up being a
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: woman that lives in Brazil. She told this girl on
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: the lady that wrote the letter that she's heard all
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: about me, and she knows about my parents being still married.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: She told me that she was also married to your
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: father and then they got married two years ago. But
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: she's being patient with my father while he prepares to
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: divorce my mom. And then moved to Brazil. I told
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: my father that I talked to his second wife. He
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: got white as a ghost. I threatened to tell my
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: mom if he didn't tell her. He apologized to me,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: but then he told you that this was grown folks
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: business and I needed to stay in my place. I
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: told him he wasn't welcome. You can't come to the
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: way now, and I want nothing else to do with me.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: He told me it's complicated, but he respects my wishes.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: Now with quarantine, with this big secret, and my mom
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: don't have ancluded. Her marriage is over. My father simply
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: does not care anymore. What can I do, well, you
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: can't do anything. Surely got this part of it right.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: It is their business. But now that you found out
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: it's yours because you're in the family and it's your mom,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: should you tell your mom? Absolutely not, Absolutely not. I
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: think that has to be your father and only your father.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: That's the way it has to come. If he created
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: the mess, then he got it. He got to expel it.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: That's the easy route out if you go in there talking.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: But now let me tell you something I think your
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: father is actually doing here. First of all, I don't
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: know if the marriage in Brazil is legal. I think
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: he knows that. I think he's also been playing this
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: woman in Brazil, telling how I'm leaving, I'm leaving, I'm leaving,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: I'm leaving, I'm leaving. But he's giving your mom no
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: England of that. I think the dude went down there,
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: got caught up, guy, had started having his life, started playing,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: got the playing too hard, had a little crazy little
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: ceremony down there. I think he has no intentions of
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: leaving your mom. I think he's been leading this woman
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: on for two years, because let me tell you something,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: he ain't no man staying to walk you down the hole.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: He's still your father. You could be divorced and walk
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: a person down the aisle. What that got to do
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: with it? So I think really that he's been leading
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: his own woman on in Brazil. I think he has
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: no intention of moving to Brazil. I think his old
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: black ass gonna stay right there in Mississippi wherever you
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: are from, because his ass don't speak Portuguese or Spanish.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: I think him going down to Brazil be a huge
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: ass mistake, and he know it too. But he just
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: had him a little side thing on the side, and
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: he got out of hand and now you didn't found
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: out about it. It is complicated. It is grown folks business.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: And I think that you should just ask your father
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: to be honest with your mother. But now I want
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: you to know something. Now, you gonna cause a catastrophic
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: chain of events when you force your father to say this.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: They're quarantine though, Steve, you know something's gonna come out. Well,
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: you know she ain't gonna keep it sick because she
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: a little young and twin two. She mad as here
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: and as her mother and her mother don't know, and
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: women do like to know, and they like to share information,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: and so that ain't high men do. I don't suggest
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: you tell your mother. I'm against that. If anybody should tell,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: it is him. But he had all this time. Maybe
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: he wasn't ever gonna tell her because maybe in his
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: mind it ain't nothing to tell her. He having an affair.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: He really is having an affair. He really does have
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: this woman in Brazil. She's talked to her daughter, knew
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: all about her, and he's just waiting on the divorce
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: to happen. Well, ain't no divorce paper has been filed
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: up here in the US, and with her mama's name
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: on it. She been served or nothing like this, And
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: I don't think the dude is going nowhere said right, huh,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: he said after the wedding. He was waiting till he
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: was man. He didn't say he'd been married for two years.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: The wind wasn't two years ago. See he's been he'd
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: been coming up with little reasons why he ain't going
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: to Brazil for two years. I think the dude just
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: got caught up, had a little life down there, got
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: a little fine little Brazil girl. That's all it is.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: I think he talked about I love you and all
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: this here, let's get married. He knew good and where
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: he could have a little ceremony now now, ain't nobody
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: got to find out in the States, ain't no marriage license.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: He hadn't done something got in over his head and
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: got busted. Stupid. Yeah, yeah, he's a I don't think
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: his ass going to Brazil country ass with stupid ass.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: Dude down there, don't even know how the laws we're
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: gonna get. Think that ass over there with a passport
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: and get being some damn Brazil you the prison. After
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: he find out he'd been married up here, he ain't
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: going down and live out here, he go to work
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: in his ass back on that plane after that visa. Sorry,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: this has happened to you, the young sister, but I
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: don't think you should tell your mom because it's a
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: complicated situation. He had just said that. All right, listen
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: post your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: FM on Instagram and Facebook and coming up at forty
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: six minutes after the hour, Janthony Brown has murdered yet
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: another hit. We'll talk about it right after this. You're
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: listening Steve Harpy Morning Show. All right, so Jay here
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: we are. It's about time we haven't heard from murdered,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: hid from you in a minute. Huh what you got?
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: I don't write uplifting songs. I wish I could, I don't.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: I've tried to Steve, but I just I don't have
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: it in me. I don't know how to be. I'm
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: bitter to the chord. The song is dedicated to the
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: men like this man right here who in the Strawberry Letter,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: And if you're in a situation similar to that you
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: want to get out, This song is dedicated to you.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: Hit it larning sometimes for im wide away, feeling my
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: eyes I sweat sweat, sweat, sweat. They never sleeps. She
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: won't let me be. Oh Lord, oh Lord, no, Lord, no, Lord.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Why she in the room with me? I thought she
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: had some well Bee, she's in the bathroom when I feed. Lord,
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: I hate this COVID disease. I wish I could fly
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: away and remember. No understands I remember back in the day,
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: she had her old place to stay. Lord, I can't
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: pull her out because she owns half the house. I
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: can't take this another day. So help me. I need
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: to leave my wild life. Why she got why? Why? Why?
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: Why wild? I'm gonna know why? Why? No? Why? Why
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: for me? Why for me? Why why I don't need? Why?
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: So Mary? Why I need to lead? She's in the
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: bathroom when I be. Oh why why we're figuring it out? Jay,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: I thought you had somewhere to be like Mary Jake Bliger.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: She was going through You know, she made the best music,
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: and they liked Big Luther rather than Little Luther. We
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: like bitter. Jay. Just stay bitter because you make the best.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: I've never seen any many other way. Yeah, you may,
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: this is not new, This is not a character. Stay bitter.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: If everybody coming here happy is over with over. Yeah,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: don't share, don't change Jay all right? Coming up at
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: the top of the hour, CBS News journalists and legendary
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: legendary reporter, news anchor, all of that. Dan Rather tweeted
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: that he finally understands Obama Gate. We'll talk about it
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to this Steve Harvey Show.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Legendary CBS News journalist Dan Rather tweeted that after watching
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: President Obama's graduation address, he finally understands Obama Gate. He said,
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: it's a scandal of having a president being able to
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: speak with empathy, humor, insight, inspiration, and in a complete
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: coherent sentence or complete coherent sentences, which is what he said.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: I have to agree with them, yea, how can you
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: argue with that? I mean, you know this president man,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: I don't care who you are. You listen, I don't
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: know what the game that they're playing, the Republicans, senators,
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: the GOP Party, the Trump supporters, this is a very
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: dangerous game that they played because I happen to think
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: that a lot of those people are really really bright
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: and intelligent people. There are a lot of bright and
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: intelligent Trump supporters. There are a lot of bright and
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: intelligent senators in that Senate, But there is something in
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: this game that they have to play where they ignore
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: all of their better judgment and senses, because you have
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: to know that this man is incompetent. You have to
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: know that he's not well spoken. You have to know
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: that this guy just doesn't get it. You have to
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: know that he has no idea of what real leadership is,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: and you have to know that unless he's reading directly
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: off the paper, he is an absolute loose cannon. And
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: you're talking about yeah, oh my goodness, I mean yeah, listen,
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: he's the president and he talks the way he talks.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: I could have got anybody, man. I know, dudes that
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: own pizza parlors, that speak more coherently and better and
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: would have better leadership qualities than him. But that's why
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: a lot of people picked him for that very reason, Steve,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: because he doesn't act like a president or speak like
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: a president. But he was the biggest lie. Fortunately, I'm
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: gonna get up there and drain the swamp. That have
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: never in my lifetime been more convictions of more cabinet members,
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: lawyers and associates of a president going to jail and
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: getting sentenced for crimes than this administration right here. So
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out when he drained the swamp,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: who did he brain? Who did to drain it? Right?
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: What was the drainage company he used? Because Trump International
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: came up there with some characters. Roger Stone is in jail,
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: going to jail, Michael Flynn, Michael Cohen, Manafort, these are
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: all top people in his They got questions about everybody
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: he brings on board. Man, he even had remember when
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: he had that guy that was running this campaign from
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: the but the dude from the Bart right, what was that?
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: Oh yeah, right, Bart, yeah, Man, that yeah, yeah, that's
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: a right ring racist but Steve. Anybody that questions him
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: within the government, then he fires them when they, you know,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: say hey hey, hey, hey, wait a minute, this right,
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: this may not be what you're supposed to be doing
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: because you can't speak against him. He sees that as disloyalty,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: and he does not reward unloyalty if he doesn't get it.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: And you have to be loyal to a flaw. And
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: now he has everybody understanding that if you're not loyal,
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: I'll come for you. So now all of the senators
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: are afraid of him. Yeah, because they know that the
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: election is coming, he'll speak out against him. This is
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: the guy that will cut off his nose despite his face. Absolutely,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: and so that's a dangerous person in the White House.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: It's just really astonishing to me, though, the number of
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: Goop Party members who are really bright and good people,
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: wholesome people, really do care about their party and everything,
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: but go along with this guy right here, who is
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: the worst example of everything they're supposed to be standing for.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: Except for mid Romney. I gotta say, all right, coming up,
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: we'll have more of today's trending stories on the Steve
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show at twenty minutes after the hour. That's
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to. Have you guys been online?
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: It's just like Black Friday? Every every day we're at home. Yeah,
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: I mean we're shopping online. That's a lot of times
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: what we do, right, Junior? What what have you bought?
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: What have you bought? Junior? I bought a tyrant, the
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: rotating automatic tyrant. I bought three of them. I can't
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: even install them three, but I got them though. Wow. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: you know the thing that cleaned. They got this thing
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: that clean your Yeah. I put a little gun on it,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: and you put them peroxide and and everything, and and
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: then you put in your ear and then you squeeze.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: I'm clean. Yeah, bought that. I'm killing Amazon whatever they
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: send me something. But have you bought that? I got that?
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: The raised the little rotating thing. Man, it's automatic. Put
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: the battery in that. Yeah, automatic for your nose. Hands
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: got out of it. Though. What else do I bought
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: a pack of shoehorn back, Yeah, because they came up.
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: They was twenty percent off that day. Who didn't know?
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: I didn't look on that. It's some good stuff on
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: that already on just Amazon passed up. I didn't know
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: that down you got to go on the Amazon line
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: without everybody killing it? About killing it, boy, I can't
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: even you. All right, morn Steve Harvey Morning Show and
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: some trending you know a guard that grown the wall
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: got on. I live in an apartment. Thirty three minutes
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: after the hour, we'll be right back. You're listening in
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: today's trending entertainment news. It very on. Steve Harvey, Lebron James,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Kevin Hard and a President Obama both they all delivered
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: inspiring speeches to the class of twenty twenty and to
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: HBCU graduates, acknowledging that the graduates were faced with some
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: unusual circumstances with this COVID nineteen pandemic. President Obama reminded
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: us what a president should sound like, and he urged,
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: finally we have forgotten. He urged people to be selfless,
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: to work together to help those in need, and to
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: reject divisiveness, and he also talked about the inadequacies of
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: America's current leadership. Take a listen, please, You're being asked
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: to find your way in a world in the middle
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: of a devastating pandemic and a terrible recession. The timing
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: is not ideal, and let's be honest. A disease like
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: this just spotlights the underlying inequalities and extra burdens that
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: black communities have historically had to deal within this country.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: We see it in the disproportionate impact of COVID nineteen
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: on our communities, just as we see it when a
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: black man goes for a jog and some folks feel
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: like they can stop and question and shoot him if
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: he doesn't submit to their question. Injustice like this isn't new.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: What is new is that so much of your generation
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: has woken up to the fact that the status quo
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: needs fixing. More than anything, this pandemic is fully, finally
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: torn back the curtain on the idea that so many
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: of the folks in charge know what they're doing. A
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: lot of them aren't even pretending to be in charge. Wow,
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: and he didn't call your name, so oh no, no, no, no,
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: he responded immediately. Trump had a heart attack when you
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: said that. But he don't have to say his name
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: because my daddy always said, if you throw a rock
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: in a pack of dogs, the one that halla is
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: the one you hit. And now yeah, oh yeah. Uh.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: President Trump meanwhile dismissed President Obama's President Obama's words and

- 1:23:56Speaker 1: you know, and listen, you know, it's always good to
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: use human love that song he did. But you know what,
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: I've really really taken a positive approach to everything that's
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: happening in this situation that we all find ourselves in.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: You know, I had a junior come over this weekend,
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: come over to the house out by the pool again,
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: you know, because he don't get here, don't know, nobody,
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: ain't got no he can't hand nobody around him. So
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: everybody in my house quarantine's who he's over. And I
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: was explaining the junior the thing about this COVID thing.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: This is the first time that everybody I know, no
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: matter where they live in the world, no matter what
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: religion they practice, no matter what color they are, no
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: matter what the economic standing, the poor, the middle class,
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: the rich, the super rich, this is the first time,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: no matter what your nationality, that we all all have
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: the exact same concern. It has shown me how connected
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: we are as a race of people. This is the
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: first time in my life as a black person that
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: I have felt totally connected to the world because what
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: happens there affects us here. What happens here affects them there.
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: Nobody can escape this conversation about COVID nineteen. No country
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: cannot address it. And you know what, it is created
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: a balance. It is a balance because I don't care
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: who you are. This can strike anyone. And this has
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: affected everyone. You don't have to have control acted COVID
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: nineteen to be affected by it. It has changed the
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: way we live, the way we spend, the way we shop,
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: the way we socialize, the way we travel, the way
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: we move, the way we meet, the way we work.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: It has affected every aspect of our life. So now
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: listen to this. You can win behind this. You can
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: come out of this on top. You don't. You don't
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: have to let this thing beat you, because I'm telling
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: you this is winnable. You just need God. You just
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: need God, and you can win in this situation. That's
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: all I have to say to you. If you haven't
