- 0:00Speaker 1: There's an old saying in politics that when your campaign
- 0:03Speaker 1: is having a great week, you stay home and you
- 0:06Speaker 1: talk to voters. But when your campaign is facing really
- 0:09Speaker 1: tough questions like we're seeing in Maine by Platner, well
- 0:13Speaker 1: apparently you end up spending a lot of time talking
- 0:16Speaker 1: to party leaders not in the state where you're running.
- 0:19Speaker 1: That's exactly where the main Democratic Senate candidate, Gram Platner
- 0:23Speaker 1: finds himself as we speak. He traveled to DC and
- 0:28Speaker 1: why to try to save everything, meeting with Democratic centers
- 0:32Speaker 1: and donors and party officials as his campaign attempts to
- 0:36Speaker 1: navigate a growing list of major controversies that have dominated
- 0:40Speaker 1: the headlines in Maine and really all over the country now.
- 0:43Speaker 2: According to multiple reports.
- 0:45Speaker 1: The trip includes meetings with Senate Democrats and fundraising events
- 0:49Speaker 1: as party leaders weigh both the political risks and political
- 0:53Speaker 1: realities surrounding his candidacy. Now, the timing couldn't be more
- 0:57Speaker 1: significant either. Democrats view Maine as one of the most
- 1:01Speaker 1: important Senate battlegrounds in the country. They truly believe they
- 1:05Speaker 1: should win this easily against Susan Collins.
- 1:08Speaker 2: And how important is it.
- 1:10Speaker 1: We're literally talking about the control of the Senate could
- 1:12Speaker 1: very well come down to a handful of races, and
- 1:15Speaker 1: Maine sits near the top of that list. That reality
- 1:19Speaker 1: is now creating an uncomfortable situation for many Democrats who
- 1:23Speaker 1: have major concerns about Platner, but also recognize that abandoning
- 1:28Speaker 1: their nominee could hand Republicans the victory. And that's why
- 1:33Speaker 1: they're not willing to kick them to the curb just yet.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Now the challenge is clear in DC tonight. The headlines
- 1:41Speaker 1: aren't going away now. Over the past several months, Platner
- 1:44Speaker 1: has faced scrutiny over old social media posts, past comments,
- 1:48Speaker 1: a controversial tattoo that is tied to the Nazis and
- 1:51Speaker 1: the SS you know, things like that, and it's become
- 1:55Speaker 1: a national story. But the most recent reports involving sexually
- 1:59Speaker 1: explicit tech messages that were sent right after he got
- 2:02Speaker 1: married that didn't help either. Those stories are generated intense
- 2:06Speaker 1: attention and raised question from Democratic donors about the viability
- 2:12Speaker 1: of their candidate and the general election. Now, even some
- 2:15Speaker 1: Democratic senators have acknowledged publicly that they have quote concerns
- 2:20Speaker 1: and they're looking for answers. Are they really, of course not.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Others are just defending Platner at all costs, saying that
- 2:27Speaker 1: he's the best man for the job. But here's the
- 2:30Speaker 1: political party, and the reality of it is kicking in.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Despite all of this, Democrats, well, they seem to be
- 2:38Speaker 1: leaning towards We're going to rally behind him, We're going
- 2:41Speaker 1: to take pictures with him, We're going to give them
- 2:43Speaker 1: the money he needs, and we brought him to Washington
- 2:45Speaker 1: to save him. Now, his primary opponent is the main governor,
- 2:51Speaker 1: Janet Mills. She suspended her campaign months ago after trailing
- 2:54Speaker 1: badly in the polls and bad fundraising. Since then, much
- 2:58Speaker 1: of the Democratic establishment has moved towards supporting Platner, even
- 3:02Speaker 1: if some of them are doing it well with major reservations.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Because this is how radical the Democratic Party has become.
- 3:09Speaker 1: And that's why this trip to Washington matters so much.
- 3:12Speaker 1: It's not just about the fundraising anymore. And it's not
- 3:15Speaker 1: just about the donor meetings. It's actually about reassurance to
- 3:19Speaker 1: the party and then to the other donors, and then
- 3:22Speaker 1: in theory, to the voters in Maine. Party leaders they
- 3:28Speaker 1: want to know whether or not there are any more
- 3:30Speaker 1: surprises coming. That's part of what the meetings are about.
- 3:33Speaker 1: And of course Platterners are going to say, there's nothing
- 3:35Speaker 1: else out there. You need to know about everything's there.
- 3:38Speaker 1: They want to know whether the campaign can withstand months
- 3:40Speaker 1: of opposition research. They want to know whether Platner can
- 3:43Speaker 1: survive the scrutiny that comes with being one of the
- 3:46Speaker 1: most closely watched Senate candidates in America. And for Democrats,
- 3:50Speaker 1: let's be clear, they're extremely nervous. Some Democratic Senaters, it's
- 3:55Speaker 1: been reported, have essentially said what many Washington already think.
- 4:00Speaker 1: They may have concerns, but they still need to win
- 4:03Speaker 1: the seat. The political calculation is straightforward. If Platinum remains
- 4:07Speaker 1: the nominee Democrats, they believe they're likely to unite behind him,
- 4:11Speaker 1: regardless of any discomfort with the controversies. It doesn't matter
- 4:15Speaker 1: that he has a Nazi tattoo. It doesn't matter about
- 4:18Speaker 1: the things of his wife. It doesn't matter about the
- 4:20Speaker 1: text messages, it doesn't matter about the disparage and comments
- 4:23Speaker 1: towards veterans. Right, none of it matters. And if you
- 4:27Speaker 1: want to know all the controversies, go back and grab
- 4:29Speaker 1: the podcast. Re laid out the top fourteen things that
- 4:33Speaker 1: has been a problem for Platiners so far and we
- 4:36Speaker 1: expect that list to grow. Now, what makes a story
- 4:40Speaker 1: even bigger than the candidacy is this is now becoming
- 4:43Speaker 1: a test of how much scandal modern political parties are
- 4:47Speaker 1: willing to tolerate when major electoral stakes are involved. For years,
- 4:52Speaker 1: politicians from both parties argued that certain controversies, when in essence,
- 4:57Speaker 1: automatically disqualify a candidate. Yeah, I guess what. That's not
- 5:01Speaker 1: happening anymore. What we're now saying is the Democratic Party
- 5:04Speaker 1: saying we'll stick with you if we think you're the
- 5:07Speaker 1: best person. And look, if you're Platiner, you've got to
- 5:10Speaker 1: be encouraged because the Democratic Party literally covered up the
- 5:13Speaker 1: cognitive decline of Joe Biden. They lied to the faces
- 5:17Speaker 1: of every American voter, They lied to his own staff
- 5:20Speaker 1: in the White House saying he was totally fine. They
- 5:23Speaker 1: lied on Capitol Hill, they lied on the Sunday shows,
- 5:25Speaker 1: and they did everything they could until that debate, and
- 5:29Speaker 1: when Joe Biden had the most disastrous debate and political
- 5:33Speaker 1: history on stage against Donald Trump. That is only when
- 5:37Speaker 1: Democrats said we need an exit ramp. So if you're
- 5:40Speaker 1: Grand Platner right now, you got to be thinking to
- 5:43Speaker 1: yourself I'm going to be okay. If they'll defend Joe Biden,
- 5:47Speaker 1: they're going to defend me, and hey, at least I
- 5:49Speaker 1: don't have a cognitive decline, So surely they can.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Get over all of this.
- 5:54Speaker 1: And there's a very good chance the Democrats will say
- 5:57Speaker 1: yes to this candidate. And they don't really care care
- 6:00Speaker 1: about the Nazi tattoo. They don't care about any of
- 6:02Speaker 1: the stuff going on in his personal life. They don't
- 6:05Speaker 1: care about him attacking the military because, let's be honest,
- 6:07Speaker 1: they don't really love the military at all. This is
- 6:10Speaker 1: where the Democratic Party is. One thing is for sure.
- 6:14Speaker 1: If they stick with Platiner, get ready for even more
- 6:17Speaker 1: extreme and radical candidates to come all over the country
- 6:21Speaker 1: because it will inspire them to run based on what
- 6:24Speaker 1: they just witnessed. Main's front running Democrat, the US Sendicandate
- 6:30Speaker 1: Graham Nazi tattoo Platiner. He is a man that Democrats
- 6:37Speaker 1: have just completely been infatuated with and the corporate media
- 6:41Speaker 1: they love him.
- 6:41Speaker 2: They don't care what he does.
- 6:42Speaker 1: They don't care about his background, they don't care about
- 6:44Speaker 1: his history, they don't care about the scandals until the
- 6:47Speaker 1: last twenty four hours. Why for one reason, because he's
- 6:50Speaker 1: a Democrat. And if you say you're a Democrat, you
- 6:53Speaker 1: can do and be and just about anything you want. Right,
- 6:56Speaker 1: you don't even have to know what a man is
- 6:58Speaker 1: or what a woman is. The Demo crats will stand
- 7:01Speaker 1: by you the more radical you actually are. The corporate
- 7:04Speaker 1: media will also stand by you, unless the Democratic Party
- 7:08Speaker 1: tells you that then we need to turn on him.
- 7:12Speaker 1: We saw this happen in California with Eric Swalwell. Right,
- 7:16Speaker 1: California love the guy, the Democratic Party loved the guy.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Then all of a sudden he might lose and a
- 7:21Speaker 1: Republican might win. And what they do They used all
- 7:24Speaker 1: of the dirt they knew about him, they protect him from,
- 7:27Speaker 1: to then take him down. Well, we're now living in
- 7:30Speaker 1: a world where that same media that created this individual,
- 7:34Speaker 1: this Nazi tattoo guy, may actually look to destroy him.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Or maybe not why because well even the Obamas seem
- 7:43Speaker 1: to be trying to help behind the scenes.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Now, let's just go through the list, all right.
- 7:49Speaker 1: If you look at the list of things that this
- 7:51Speaker 1: individual has done, if Mike count is correct, now it's
- 7:55Speaker 1: at fourteen different scandals, all right, So let's start with
- 7:59Speaker 1: number one, and I hope By the way, all of
- 8:01Speaker 1: you will take this information and I hope you will
- 8:04Speaker 1: share it wherever you can. I hope that not only
- 8:06Speaker 1: will you share it, but share the podcast put it
- 8:08Speaker 1: anywhere you can on social media.
- 8:11Speaker 2: So let's start at number one.
- 8:13Speaker 1: This is a guy who had tattooed on his chest
- 8:17Speaker 1: a Nazi SS tattoo, and he said they didn't know
- 8:22Speaker 1: what it was, but he had the tattoo for eighteen years. Now,
- 8:26Speaker 1: you may not know about the Nazi SS and exactly
- 8:29Speaker 1: what they did. Like you can almost go even further
- 8:34Speaker 1: than just like there's generic Nazis in Germany and then
- 8:37Speaker 1: there's the SS.
- 8:39Speaker 2: What did the SS do well?
- 8:41Speaker 1: They were the major paramilitary organization under Hitler and the
- 8:46Speaker 1: Nazi Party in Germany. And these were the guys that
- 8:50Speaker 1: began as a small guard unit known as the Hall Security.
- 8:54Speaker 1: They were made up of party volunteers. Then they got
- 8:57Speaker 1: even worse, right, They're like, all right, we start you there.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Now was the foremost agency on security, mass surveillance and
- 9:05Speaker 1: state terrorism within Germany and Germany occupied Europe. What's even
- 9:10Speaker 1: more interesting about the SS, all right, and how hardcore
- 9:13Speaker 1: these guys were, is they were in charge of the
- 9:16Speaker 1: concentration camps.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Right.
- 9:18Speaker 1: They were the ones that were referred to as the
- 9:21Speaker 1: deaths head units.
- 9:23Speaker 2: All right.
- 9:24Speaker 1: They ran the concentration camps and then they ran the
- 9:27Speaker 1: extermination camps. So if you want to be a Nazi,
- 9:30Speaker 1: that's one thing you want to level up and say,
- 9:32Speaker 1: oh no, no, I want to go pro with my tattoos.
- 9:34Speaker 1: I don't just want to swatska. No, no, I want an
- 9:37Speaker 1: SS tattoo. Then you are like, all right, well, here
- 9:40Speaker 1: we go. I'm a concentration extermination camp kind of guy.
- 9:44Speaker 1: They were also tasks for detecting actual or potential enemies
- 9:48Speaker 1: of Nazi Germany. They were in charge of neutralizing the
- 9:52Speaker 1: oppression at all costs. And then they were also policing
- 9:55Speaker 1: the German people and they would kill them if they
- 9:58Speaker 1: thought you were getting out of line. They were committed
- 10:01Speaker 1: to quote Nazi ideology and then providing domestic and foreign intelligence.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Now the SS, and again I.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Go back, because I think it's important to you understand
- 10:11Speaker 1: why he chose this tattoo. The SS was the organization
- 10:15Speaker 1: most responsible for the genocidal murder of an estimated.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Six million Jews and millions.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Of other victims during the holocausts Now members of its
- 10:27Speaker 1: branches not only committed war crimes and crimes against humanity
- 10:31Speaker 1: during World War Two, we now know through history that
- 10:35Speaker 1: the SS was also involved in commercial enterprises and exploited
- 10:38Speaker 1: concentration camp inmates as their slave labors. They could even
- 10:43Speaker 1: make cash off of them before they then exterminated them. Now,
- 10:47Speaker 1: as after Nazi Germany's defeat, the SS and the Nazi
- 10:50Speaker 1: Party were judged by the international military tribunals at Nuremberg.
- 10:54Speaker 2: There's a great movie about it, you can go see
- 10:56Speaker 2: it right now.
- 10:58Speaker 1: And what we learn is the highest ranking surviving SS
- 11:01Speaker 1: Main Department chief was found guilty of not only crimes
- 11:04Speaker 1: against humanity at the Nuremberg trials, but he was also
- 11:08Speaker 1: hanged in nineteen eighty six. So if you're going to
- 11:11Speaker 1: get a tattoo and you decide to go with the
- 11:14Speaker 1: SS insignia a tattoo instead of just you know that
- 11:17Speaker 1: the Nazi you know, you know, swastika tattoo, you clearly
- 11:21Speaker 1: understand that you're like on another level of understanding what
- 11:27Speaker 1: a Nazi is, right, and so this is the tattoo
- 11:31Speaker 1: that he chose. Now, of course he lied, He's like,
- 11:34Speaker 1: I didn't know what it was. Are you kidding me.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Of course you knew what it was and that's why
- 11:38Speaker 1: you got it. So that is the baseline for who
- 11:41Speaker 1: he is. So let's move on to something else. We
- 11:44Speaker 1: also know that he has an account on a what
- 11:46Speaker 1: has been described by the Your Times a predator sex
- 11:49Speaker 1: site called Kick.
- 11:51Speaker 2: He's married, everybody knows that.
- 11:53Speaker 1: But this site is a site that is for child exportation,
- 11:58Speaker 1: underage sexual and in kiss and child pornography.
- 12:03Speaker 2: That is what's there. You can go read the New
- 12:05Speaker 2: York Times on this.
- 12:06Speaker 1: So not only do we have a Naziss Death's head
- 12:09Speaker 1: tattoo that he had for eighteen years, now he's like, oh,
- 12:12Speaker 1: I'm going to get on this website that is a
- 12:15Speaker 1: predator's safe haven for underage exploiting of children and child pornography.
- 12:24Speaker 2: We then find out.
- 12:25Speaker 1: No surprise, that there's explicit sexting or sex texts from
- 12:29Speaker 1: with about a half a dozen women in twenty twenty three,
- 12:32Speaker 1: after you got married about a year earlier. Moved past
- 12:36Speaker 1: that real quick disparage all black people as a population
- 12:39Speaker 1: that doesn't tip. Yes, he actually has it on social
- 12:42Speaker 1: media where he was out there and he was talking
- 12:43Speaker 1: they saying that black people don't tip that is what
- 12:47Speaker 1: you refer to as racism.
- 12:49Speaker 2: One oh one.
- 12:50Speaker 1: The Democratic Party apparently has no problem within disparaging all
- 12:55Speaker 1: black people as a population, saying that all black people
- 12:59Speaker 1: don't Tip number five, he blamed sexual assault victims for
- 13:04Speaker 1: being sexually assaulted. Now you may look at that and
- 13:08Speaker 1: you go, hold on a second, what do you what
- 13:09Speaker 1: do you actually mean by that? All right, you know what,
- 13:11Speaker 1: it's a great question. Graham Plattner says sexual assault victims
- 13:15Speaker 1: should take some responsibility in Reddit post that he had
- 13:20Speaker 1: throughout the years he made the disturbing comments about sexual
- 13:24Speaker 1: assault victims?
- 13:26Speaker 2: Where then?
- 13:27Speaker 1: And of course, of course he deleted them right right
- 13:29Speaker 1: before he launched his campaign. But we had the they
- 13:32Speaker 1: had the data, they had them like it's there. We
- 13:35Speaker 1: know it's there in the discussion. But what's interesting is
- 13:38Speaker 1: he said that assault victims should take some responsibility for
- 13:41Speaker 1: themselves to avoid attacks and act like an adult for
- 13:44Speaker 1: efing's sake.
- 13:45Speaker 2: He said people should.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Avoid alcohols they don't end up in a compromising situation,
- 13:50Speaker 1: and then downplay the challenges service members face and reporting
- 13:54Speaker 1: sexual assault. So he's like, look, if you got raped
- 13:57Speaker 1: in your chick and you got you and you drank,
- 13:59Speaker 1: that's all you and so I don't really care and
- 14:03Speaker 1: signed I guess, you know, hole Hitler, like I guess
- 14:05Speaker 1: that's how this works.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Now.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Now, these these comments came on the hills of the
- 14:10Speaker 1: similar Reddit posts that were uncovered, which included Platner saying
- 14:14Speaker 1: people who live in rural Maine actually are racist and stupid.
- 14:18Speaker 1: He also is promoting violent political actions, including saying an
- 14:22Speaker 1: armed working class as a requirement for economic justice, he said,
- 14:27Speaker 1: deeming all police bastards and riding f these cops.
- 14:31Speaker 2: So now we found out he's against police.
- 14:34Speaker 1: He was promoting racist stereotypes by questioning, quote, why don't
- 14:38Speaker 1: black people tip quote unquote I mentioned that a moment ago,
- 14:42Speaker 1: and then using slurs and telling people to f off
- 14:45Speaker 1: and die when asked about a recent vote against a
- 14:47Speaker 1: power line in Maine. Now, these are just some of
- 14:51Speaker 1: the big things that he said online. So let's just,
- 14:56Speaker 1: you know, move past that for a second. Now, now you
- 15:00Speaker 1: have these first six things I just gave you, and
- 15:04Speaker 1: you would think like that surely would be enough for
- 15:06Speaker 1: Democrats to turn on him, and apparently it's not. In fact,
- 15:11Speaker 1: Democratic voters in Maine still have him leading over Susan
- 15:15Speaker 1: Collins right now, which is truly fascinating. So what is
- 15:20Speaker 1: it that you can't say if you're a Democrat running
- 15:23Speaker 1: in a Democratic you know, major part of the country
- 15:27Speaker 1: like Maine, right, Like, what is it that could disqualify you?
- 15:30Speaker 1: The Nazi tattoo apparently doesn't, sex preader site, having a membership, doesn't,
- 15:36Speaker 1: explicit text staff doesn't.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Women in twenty three that doesn't.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Disparaging all black people is as a population that doesn't tip,
- 15:43Speaker 1: That apparently doesn't do it. Blaming sexual assault victims for
- 15:47Speaker 1: being sexually assaulted, that apparently doesn't do it. So what
- 15:51Speaker 1: could it be that could actually get you to be
- 15:55Speaker 1: in trouble with the Democratic bas right? I got one
- 15:57Speaker 1: for you. I'm going to go out in a Lemons say, hey,
- 16:00Speaker 1: if you started attacking or smearing or mocking the LGBTQIA
- 16:07Speaker 1: plus plus plus population as a Democrat in Maine, like,
- 16:12Speaker 1: that's got to get you in trouble, right like Scott
- 16:14Speaker 1: to be apparently not today quote I find that stuff abhorrent.
- 16:20Speaker 1: That is what Platner told the Advocate, And I'm sorry
- 16:24Speaker 1: that I ever used it, referencing he and admitting he
- 16:28Speaker 1: used indefensible anti gay slurs in his other Reddit posts.
- 16:33Speaker 1: They even say. In this Advocate dot com story quote,
- 16:39Speaker 1: a progressive US Senate candidate Maine, who has already apologized
- 16:42Speaker 1: for earlier misogynistic and racially insensitive remarks and said that
- 16:46Speaker 1: he did not realize that tattoo in his chest resembled
- 16:49Speaker 1: a Nazi SS emblem, is again under scrutiny, this time
- 16:52Speaker 1: for anti LGBTQ plus comments. In an interview on Wednesday afternoon,
- 16:58Speaker 1: The Advocate, a forty one year old marine and Army
- 17:02Speaker 1: veteran running in mains Democratic primary seeking to become the
- 17:05Speaker 1: nominated challenge Republican US inersus In Collins, confirmed that he
- 17:09Speaker 1: offered a series of Reddit comments and included homophobic slurs,
- 17:13Speaker 1: anti LGBTQ plus jokes, and sexually explicit stories denigrating gay men.
- 17:21Speaker 1: The existence of the comments, posted under the handle p
- 17:24Speaker 1: Hustle between twenty sixteen and twenty twenty one, meaning he
- 17:27Speaker 1: did this a lot all right, had not previously been
- 17:30Speaker 1: reported on. The Advocate obtained the post independently this week.
- 17:34Speaker 1: The revelation comes on the same day Platner a scheduled
- 17:37Speaker 1: hold the town hall in one part of the state,
- 17:40Speaker 1: a seaside resort, long known as New England's most prominent
- 17:44Speaker 1: LGBTQ plus destinations, featuring a thriving gay community and pride
- 17:49Speaker 1: celebrations that draw visits from across the region.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Quote.
- 17:53Speaker 1: I have zero reason to deny that the posts are mine,
- 17:55Speaker 1: Platner said in a Zoom interview. I made a lot
- 17:58Speaker 1: of comments over the years and talked a lot of
- 18:00Speaker 1: on the internet. I have no reason to doubt that
- 18:03Speaker 1: at some point I use language that I would not
- 18:05Speaker 1: be using today. He paused, and then added its indefensible.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Now these posts that were obtained by the Advocate, all
- 18:13Speaker 1: Right says they unearthed them and show a pattern of
- 18:15Speaker 1: homophobic language and rhetoric that mocked and demeaned.
- 18:19Speaker 2: The LGBTQ plus people.
- 18:21Speaker 1: In some cases, Platner appeared to use slurs casually in
- 18:24Speaker 1: discussions unrelated to sexuality. In others, he explicitly framed gay
- 18:29Speaker 1: people as the punchline. In June twenty sixteen, Platner wrote
- 18:33Speaker 1: in a thread about life on military guard duties, saying, no,
- 18:36Speaker 1: seriously flog the blankers as often as possible, write gay
- 18:41Speaker 1: poetry about how gay your current job is. Congratulations you
- 18:45Speaker 1: made it through one shift. Now do it all again
- 18:48Speaker 1: in twelve hours. Welcome to the world of standing posts,
- 18:51Speaker 1: where sanity is a sliding scale quote unquote. In March
- 18:55Speaker 1: twenty eighteen, two years later, he wasn't done. He recounted
- 18:58Speaker 1: explicit detail. What he just scribe is a quote gay
- 19:01Speaker 1: off between Marines and British sailors and Bahrain pull into
- 19:05Speaker 1: by Rain and seven at Amu, a Royal Navy submarine
- 19:08Speaker 1: happens to be imported at the same time. Before we
- 19:11Speaker 1: even realize what's going on, the other weird blinkers just
- 19:14Speaker 1: leaned down and licked the blank from the bottom of
- 19:18Speaker 1: the blank all the way up to the blank, stand up,
- 19:21Speaker 1: look dead at us and yelled beat that I probably
- 19:24Speaker 1: withdrew our team on the grounds that one cannot play
- 19:27Speaker 1: gay chicken if one is actually gay.
- 19:31Speaker 2: This is what he wrote online. Now you would think
- 19:33Speaker 2: that these.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Explicit posts, and by the way, there's some in eighteen
- 19:37Speaker 1: and nineteen and twenty and twenty one, and even in
- 19:40Speaker 1: twenty twenty two, the Advocate, which is obviously advocate advocating
- 19:45Speaker 1: for gay lesbian communities, they write all this stuff. But
- 19:49Speaker 1: apparently it was just to help him get it out there.
- 19:52Speaker 2: And we'll move on.
- 19:53Speaker 1: So that doesn't even disqualify him from being the Democratic nominee.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Number eight, he promoted an alleged Holocaust denier on social media.
- 20:04Speaker 1: So not only is this guy wearing an SS tattoo
- 20:08Speaker 1: right the death head tattoo and then claims it no,
- 20:11Speaker 1: it is, but he also has a Holocaust denier, someone
- 20:14Speaker 1: who believes the Holocaust never happened. On social media. He
- 20:19Speaker 1: also and if you have kids ear muffs, all right,
- 20:22Speaker 1: that's my warning. He actually bragged online about masturbating in
- 20:27Speaker 1: public porta potties.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Yes, those were his words. I'm sure he will tell you.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Don't worry. I wouldn't say that. Now.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Are Democrats ashamed of this being their candidate? Nope, They're
- 20:38Speaker 1: still standing by him, even with the porta potty comments.
- 20:42Speaker 1: So now like, surely that's it. Nope, that's not all.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Graham Platner also mocked a purple heart recipient as a
- 20:51Speaker 1: dumb mf or who didn't deserve to live, and then
- 20:56Speaker 1: doubled down on the comments when he was asked about it.
- 20:59Speaker 2: So doesn't believe he did anything wrong.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Doesn't think that you that it's wrong to mock a
- 21:03Speaker 1: purple heart recipient and saying that the dumb mffort didn't
- 21:07Speaker 1: deserve to live.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 21:11Speaker 1: He also encouraged military contractors to bang hookers in Thailand.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Yeah, giving details.
- 21:20Speaker 1: That you guys got to go out there and you
- 21:21Speaker 1: know you should just bang some of them hookers. Yes,
- 21:26Speaker 1: he actually once lamited Thai prostitute loophole closing. The Democratic
- 21:32Speaker 1: candidate in Maine complained of a loophole closing that closing
- 21:36Speaker 1: that permitted military contractors to have relations with Thailand prostitutes.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Under the name p Ussel, the Democratic candidate, Platner reportedly
- 21:45Speaker 1: wrote on a Reddit post in June of nineteen, the
- 21:47Speaker 1: military contactors could spend their time banging hookers in Thailand
- 21:51Speaker 1: instead of getting blanked at.
- 21:53Speaker 2: The wife back by the wife.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Back home, spending your lead banging hookers in Thailand instead
- 21:59Speaker 1: of get sing b ith stat by the wife at home,
- 22:04Speaker 1: and you could sell it as avoiding federal income tax.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Platner wrote.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Once the Afghan started using our paychecks as a personal piggybank,
- 22:13Speaker 1: the whole loophole disappeared. Platnter admitted to using the handle
- 22:17Speaker 1: after The Mad Monitor reported about his Reddit posts.
- 22:22Speaker 2: There it is it's I mean, it's it's incredible. It is.
- 22:26Speaker 2: It's truly incredible.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Now you would think that would be enough, right for
- 22:29Speaker 1: the Democrats to say, okay, like we got to stop,
- 22:32Speaker 1: like this guy can't be the guy.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Nope, keep going. He also called the.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Virgin Mary a skank, Yes, a skink. The Democrat candidate
- 22:46Speaker 1: referred to Jesus also as a zombie, the Virgin Mary
- 22:50Speaker 1: is a skank. And a Reddit post from twenty twelve
- 22:54Speaker 1: that is this man so he hates Christians, he hates Jesus,
- 22:58Speaker 1: he hates Mary, and and this is the perfect guy
- 23:01Speaker 1: for the Democratic Party. He also got a dui, not
- 23:05Speaker 1: that anyone cares. Right inside Graham Platner's controversial rise another
- 23:10Speaker 1: article talking about his dui. But it's totally fine, not
- 23:13Speaker 1: a problem at all. Right, He's just you know, sometimes
- 23:15Speaker 1: you gotta gout there and you gotta, you know, get
- 23:17Speaker 1: a dui. And finally the newest thing, he appeared on
- 23:21Speaker 1: an anti Semites podcast who says the Jews killed Kennedy.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Now this is just what we know. What's even more
- 23:33Speaker 1: shocking is he's still ahead in the polls, which tells
- 23:37Speaker 1: me something very clearly. The Democratic Party is solace. They
- 23:41Speaker 1: only care about power, They only care about controlling you.
- 23:46Speaker 1: They only care about winning, and if it takes a
- 23:50Speaker 1: guy like this to do it or cover up for him,
- 23:52Speaker 1: they're totally fine with it.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Well, keep following this story.
- 23:56Speaker 1: I can promise you that we've got a lot more
