Why We're Workaholics - A Word On Rest
In a fast paced world, many struggle to take a day off. Being a workaholic has become the norm. In fact, the world tells us that the busier we are, the more value we have. This is far from the truth. Our worth is not measured by how much we produce! The Bible has a lot to say on the sabbath. Exodus 20:8 tells us to "Remember the sabbath day by keeping it holy." The reason we are told to remember the sabbath is because we have a tendency to forget it! The Bible commands us to rest. Rest is a gift, for our good.
