- 0:02Speaker 1: Y'all know what time of y'all don't know y'all back
- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit on, looking back to back down, giving them
- 0:13Speaker 1: move just like the looking buck bus things. And it's
- 0:19Speaker 1: doing me true good at Steve has listening to moving
- 0:26Speaker 1: together for Steve, please by, I don't join by, join
- 0:50Speaker 1: me to be doing me. Have you gotta turn hurning
- 1:05Speaker 1: in the moment you gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Got to turn out to turn turn the water the water. Come,
- 1:57Speaker 1: come on your baby at it? Huh? I show will
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on
- 2:06Speaker 1: dig me now? Wanting on this Steve Harvey got a
- 2:09Speaker 1: radio show. Okay. I was thinking about it this morning
- 2:15Speaker 1: and I said, what can I share in a different
- 2:22Speaker 1: way today? You know, it creates a challenge every morning
- 2:27Speaker 1: to come up with something different. And at times, you know,
- 2:32Speaker 1: I feel like I'm reiterating myself, and and I am,
- 2:36Speaker 1: and I find different ways to say the same thing
- 2:39Speaker 1: almost But I do that because you know, sometimes if
- 2:44Speaker 1: you hear it a different way, it impacts you differently.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I've heard people say stuff to me my entire life,
- 2:49Speaker 1: but somebody came along said the exact same thing, but
- 2:53Speaker 1: they said it a different way, and it struck a
- 2:55Speaker 1: chord in me. It rung a bell. And so that's
- 2:59Speaker 1: what I m to do. And you know, some mornings
- 3:04Speaker 1: I play back some ones that I think are just
- 3:08Speaker 1: memorable or order I want to reiterate. And it's nothing
- 3:12Speaker 1: wrong with that. So I hope everybody understands that. Today though,
- 3:15Speaker 1: I got one for you. I want to I want
- 3:19Speaker 1: to ask you a question, what choices are you making? See,
- 3:26Speaker 1: life is full of choices now as creatures. God is
- 3:31Speaker 1: the God gave us the humans. Of all the creatures created,
- 3:36Speaker 1: the humans, we have more of a power of choice
- 3:40Speaker 1: than do any other creature He created. Fish have to
- 3:45Speaker 1: live in water, they have to Men have gone to
- 3:49Speaker 1: out of space. Men have gone underwater for days and
- 3:53Speaker 1: weeks and months at a time. You know, I mean,
- 3:57Speaker 1: we we got choices here. We we can we can
- 4:00Speaker 1: live in a hot climate, we can go live in
- 4:03Speaker 1: a cold climate. You know, most animals are created for
- 4:07Speaker 1: certain regions, certain climates. They don't do well in this.
- 4:10Speaker 1: You know, you don't find a lot of animals in
- 4:13Speaker 1: the polar ice, But then you don't find polar bears
- 4:17Speaker 1: down in the you know, South Arctic or a south equator,
- 4:22Speaker 1: So you know what choices are you making? That's what
- 4:25Speaker 1: I'm saying, because we all have the power of choice. Now,
- 4:30Speaker 1: I've made some bad choices in my life. I want
- 4:32Speaker 1: you to understand that clearly. And I still every now
- 4:36Speaker 1: and then I'll do myself a disservice with another bad choice.
- 4:42Speaker 1: But I have tried to narrow them down through life
- 4:45Speaker 1: experiences and and and reduce the amount of major mistakes
- 4:50Speaker 1: I make. But let me tell you something. You're listening
- 4:54Speaker 1: to a person who has made major, major mistakes in
- 4:59Speaker 1: his choices. In my decision making process, I have thrown
- 5:04Speaker 1: myself down the cliff. I can't tell you how many
- 5:08Speaker 1: times when I decided not to pay attention in college,
- 5:12Speaker 1: when I didn't develop steady habits in high school, when
- 5:17Speaker 1: I I chose this woman over that woman I chose man,
- 5:26Speaker 1: I can't tell you, y'all. I did it. I did
- 5:31Speaker 1: it to go over here and get with this girl,
- 5:34Speaker 1: this woman over here, when I should not have. Clearly
- 5:40Speaker 1: man should not have. But I made the choice to
- 5:43Speaker 1: do it anyway. I made a decision. I did some
- 5:48Speaker 1: things that caused myself to be homeless for a period
- 5:52Speaker 1: of time. I made some decisions that messed up my
- 5:56Speaker 1: credit for a long stretch of time, made some decisions
- 6:02Speaker 1: that you know, just had people just kind of, you know,
- 6:06Speaker 1: not even wanting to help me. So the question is
- 6:10Speaker 1: what choices are you making? When I changed my decision
- 6:15Speaker 1: making process, I changed the entire direction of my life.
- 6:20Speaker 1: When I made a conscious decision to look at life
- 6:23Speaker 1: differently and make better choices and better decisions, it changed
- 6:29Speaker 1: my entire life. I decided instead of going down the
- 6:34Speaker 1: path I was going on, I decided to choose life.
- 6:39Speaker 1: First of all, I wanted to live. So I decided
- 6:43Speaker 1: I wanted to choose life. So I'm not going to
- 6:45Speaker 1: do the things that could bring about my demise or
- 6:48Speaker 1: my death. I'm out. I ain't with this, this is
- 6:51Speaker 1: not no. I choose life. Then I made another decision.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I said, I choose life, and I choose it more abundantly.
- 7:02Speaker 1: You know what that means. God comes into your life
- 7:05Speaker 1: to give you life and give you life more abundantly,
- 7:09Speaker 1: So that means just more of it. So I chose that.
- 7:13Speaker 1: I said, Okay, man, I need to start talking to
- 7:16Speaker 1: God a little bit more because the way I've been
- 7:18Speaker 1: figuring this thing, Man has gotten me to this point,
- 7:20Speaker 1: I ain't really cool with the point I'm at. See, eventually,
- 7:24Speaker 1: you just got to be uncool with the point you at.
- 7:27Speaker 1: So I chose life, and I chose it more abundantly.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Then I chose to start showing mercy to people because
- 7:34Speaker 1: I needed some more people to show mercy to me. See.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Remember why I said I was going through a period
- 7:39Speaker 1: in my life when it seemed like when nobody helped me,
- 7:43Speaker 1: nobody seemed to exhibit mercy towards me. Well, I wasn't
- 7:47Speaker 1: creating that much mercy myself, I don't guess. So I
- 7:50Speaker 1: decided to choose mercy. I decided to choose forgiveness. I
- 7:55Speaker 1: started forgiving people who had wronged me, who told me
- 7:59Speaker 1: I'm gonna mount to nothing. I forgave them who tried
- 8:03Speaker 1: to talk me off the path, who went by my
- 8:05Speaker 1: mother's house and told my mama, your son, Steve he lazy.
- 8:09Speaker 1: He don't want to work. That's why he out there
- 8:11Speaker 1: struggling like that, trying to do that comedy thing. I
- 8:14Speaker 1: wasn't lazy, man, I just say't want to work for you.
- 8:17Speaker 1: I'm willing to work. Look at me. I work hard,
- 8:20Speaker 1: trust and believe that. But I was not willing to
- 8:23Speaker 1: work for them, or I wasn't willing to take the
- 8:26Speaker 1: route they took, so they labeled me lazy. I'm not
- 8:28Speaker 1: a lazy person. But I chose forgiveness though. I chose
- 8:32Speaker 1: to forgive them because I didn't have time to break them.
- 8:36Speaker 1: And then I chose moving forward. I decided that I
- 8:39Speaker 1: wasn't gonna go back, that I wasn't gonna live my
- 8:41Speaker 1: life in my past, that I wasn't gonna let my
- 8:44Speaker 1: past determine who I was going to be. See I
- 8:47Speaker 1: was who I was, but I am who I am,
- 8:50Speaker 1: and I'm cool with both of them people I really am.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I'm absolutely fine with the person I used to be.
- 8:56Speaker 1: God got to save you from something, so I'm cool
- 9:00Speaker 1: with that. But all that was the ingredients though that
- 9:02Speaker 1: got me to this point. So I'm fine with my past.
- 9:05Speaker 1: But what I do not do is allow my past
- 9:08Speaker 1: to dictate what I am, where I'm going, what I
- 9:11Speaker 1: can be. God forgave me, so I forgave myself. I
- 9:17Speaker 1: chose to move forward, not stay in the past. I
- 9:21Speaker 1: choose laughing. I choose laughing. I decided that I was
- 9:26Speaker 1: gonna laugh more every day. I chose learning. I wanted
- 9:32Speaker 1: to open myself up to new things. I wanted to
- 9:35Speaker 1: open myself up to knowing something that I've never known before.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I allow people to teach me things. I chose joy.
- 9:46Speaker 1: I decided to quit seeking fun all the time and
- 9:50Speaker 1: sit down somewhere and be all right with me. See,
- 9:54Speaker 1: I ain't got to go and do no more. I
- 9:57Speaker 1: ain't got to go out here and hook up with
- 9:59Speaker 1: this person and get this in my life. And man,
- 10:01Speaker 1: let's buy this and hook this up. Now, y'all come
- 10:03Speaker 1: in here and we're gonna have some fun. Now. Man,
- 10:06Speaker 1: I stopped doing that. I chose joy. I chose to
- 10:11Speaker 1: be sitting somewhere with my girl with a cigar and
- 10:14Speaker 1: I'm just all right, just me and her. I chose joy. Man.
- 10:19Speaker 1: I see fun. You got to go do something to
- 10:22Speaker 1: have fun, but joy joys with it. Joyce when you're
- 10:27Speaker 1: sitting there with yourself because you didn't connected with your creator,
- 10:30Speaker 1: you didn't found something with God, and you're cool with
- 10:33Speaker 1: you now. See. I chose to be cool with me.
- 10:37Speaker 1: What are your choices? You gotta make better choices. You
- 10:40Speaker 1: make better choices, you have a better outcome. You change
- 10:43Speaker 1: your attitude, you change your altitude. It all ties together,
- 10:47Speaker 1: but we gotta make better decisions. What are you deciding today?
- 10:51Speaker 1: Watch it? Okay, be careful, make sure you're making better
- 10:54Speaker 1: to start making better decisions today. You're listening, Ladies and gentlemen.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Now have your undivided attention please. This is the Steve
- 11:06Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show on the Goal, full of life and vigor.
- 11:10Speaker 1: I would like to invite all of you, all of
- 11:13Speaker 1: you to join in today and spend some time laughing
- 11:18Speaker 1: as hard as you can. I'm talking about that kind
- 11:24Speaker 1: of laughter, that amazing kind of laughter, ladies and gentlemen.
- 11:30Speaker 1: This is the Steve Harvey Morning showy and it begins
- 11:38Speaker 1: Charley Strawberry. I'm talking about that, not Yeah, I be
- 11:49Speaker 1: brought that what I do? Tommy eyes, Colin Farrel, that's all.
- 11:54Speaker 1: They always look like that, Colin Farrell. I don't know, Hey,
- 12:00Speaker 1: I don't know what watches right here? Junia hell no,
- 12:08Speaker 1: what tire me? The food we're here, baby, that's how
- 12:23Speaker 1: you're gonna be laughing all mort That's all we're saying. Yeah,
- 12:27Speaker 1: all it is man. That's how you do it. Man.
- 12:30Speaker 1: People don't understand you should if you want to stay
- 12:34Speaker 1: young and you want to stay healthy, you should laugh
- 12:38Speaker 1: really hard at least once a day. Now. The sad
- 12:43Speaker 1: thing is the average person only laughs hard. I'm a
- 12:48Speaker 1: matter of fact. I'm gonna give you a fact. I'm
- 12:50Speaker 1: not gonna tell you that. I'm gonna give you a fact. Y'all,
- 12:54Speaker 1: go ahead and talk amongst you'll say amongst ourselves, well,
- 12:59Speaker 1: I like going on. I guess he's looking it up
- 13:01Speaker 1: while we're talking amongst Hey. Let's let me ask y'all
- 13:04Speaker 1: why we're talking about. Is it wrong for me to
- 13:06Speaker 1: try to throw a Super Bowl a big game party
- 13:10Speaker 1: without the big game being on? Can I boycott and
- 13:12Speaker 1: throw a party the Saint hymn? No, just sitting up
- 13:15Speaker 1: at your house with the wings with nothing on. I'm
- 13:21Speaker 1: mad about it because the two teams that should be
- 13:24Speaker 1: in it are not in it. That call against the
- 13:29Speaker 1: Kansas City Chiefs which gave the Patriots a first down
- 13:33Speaker 1: when it was fourth down, That that that rough in
- 13:37Speaker 1: the passing, well, yeah, that right there was That was
- 13:40Speaker 1: a horrible That was a horrible call. And then that
- 13:43Speaker 1: catch that they gave that dude that clue nose of
- 13:47Speaker 1: the ball was on the ground. I don't even know.
- 13:49Speaker 1: That was another bad call. They were trying to They
- 13:52Speaker 1: were talking about trying to play that game over no,
- 13:54Speaker 1: trying to pay the Saints game. It's what they try.
- 13:58Speaker 1: That the worst, the worst call in the history of
- 14:04Speaker 1: football for a game of that magnitude. It was a
- 14:08Speaker 1: worse man. Yeah, I guess I'm not boycotting because I've
- 14:12Speaker 1: seen all fifty three of the Super Bowls. I'm not
- 14:14Speaker 1: gonna miss it. I don't give a damn who in it? Okay, Okay,
- 14:18Speaker 1: Cleveland one. Why would I boycott? Boy that would have
- 14:25Speaker 1: happened to Cleveland? Oh my god, Cleveland. If that would
- 14:29Speaker 1: have happened to click all right, listen to football, team
- 14:31Speaker 1: wouldn't have got out of the stadium, so wouldn't been
- 14:33Speaker 1: no damn super Bowl. Well, we'll talk more in football
- 14:36Speaker 1: when we come back in thirty two after the hour.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Something about Tom Brady. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 14:43Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, you guys, did you get it
- 14:48Speaker 1: all out of your system? Because I don't think you can. Yeah,
- 14:54Speaker 1: if this is major, everybody's talking about this, everyone is,
- 14:58Speaker 1: well check this out. Though the New England's Patriots owner
- 15:02Speaker 1: Robert Kraft, he's not mincing his words, saying Tom Brady
- 15:06Speaker 1: is the greatest quarterback in the history of the NFL period. Okay,
- 15:12Speaker 1: Harriot period. Of course, there were reports last week that
- 15:16Speaker 1: Brady walked into the Patriots practice facility and declared himself
- 15:21Speaker 1: the baddest MF on the planet. I love it. Confidence. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 15:33Speaker 1: So Kraft says we're lucky to have the greatest quarterback
- 15:36Speaker 1: in history. Yesterday, Patriots owner Robert Kraft had teamed up
- 15:40Speaker 1: with jay Z, Meek Mill and seventy six Ers owner
- 15:43Speaker 1: Michael Rubin for an event to launch the Reform Alliance,
- 15:47Speaker 1: which is focused on overhauling the probation and parole system
- 15:50Speaker 1: here in America. The goal is to free one million
- 15:55Speaker 1: people over the next five years. Wow wow. And since
- 15:59Speaker 1: he's become tight with Meek, we asked if the Pats
- 16:02Speaker 1: would be playing Mills hit Dreams and Nightmares if they
- 16:05Speaker 1: win the Super Bowl this year, to which it sounds
- 16:07Speaker 1: like he says, of course. The issue with that Dreams
- 16:10Speaker 1: and Nightmares was essentially the song for the was for
- 16:14Speaker 1: the Philadelphia Eagles last season. Remember they beat the Pats
- 16:18Speaker 1: and the Super Bowl. So I gotta ask the guys,
- 16:21Speaker 1: Steve Junior, Tommy, is Tom Brady in your opinion the
- 16:25Speaker 1: greatest quarterback in the history of the NFL, in the
- 16:28Speaker 1: top three or the other two. I mean he and
- 16:32Speaker 1: he's in the discussion for short. I just can't think
- 16:36Speaker 1: of anybody who's won it the way he's won it
- 16:40Speaker 1: as often as he's wonted. He's got to be one
- 16:45Speaker 1: of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game. I
- 16:48Speaker 1: just don't. So I can't name nobody that was better
- 16:52Speaker 1: at it than him with the wins and big games.
- 16:54Speaker 1: And yeah, well Tommy said top three, who are the
- 16:57Speaker 1: other two? I still like star act from back into
- 17:01Speaker 1: Roger Closer tom Brady. Tommy's the only one that say three.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Who anybody to say somebody something like that. Huh oh, Rogers,
- 17:24Speaker 1: I like, I like and Rodgers rod bad boy. Yeah,
- 17:28Speaker 1: and Rodgers is a bad point. I just think tom
- 17:31Speaker 1: Brad just for what he wins. He wins the super Bowl, Yeah,
- 17:35Speaker 1: every single that's would make you. Every championships, he gets that.
- 17:41Speaker 1: They find a way. But I think, I think, and
- 17:45Speaker 1: I give you have to give great credit to this.
- 17:48Speaker 1: That culture of his comes up with schemes. Man, but
- 17:55Speaker 1: tom Brady when he go to that line and he
- 17:57Speaker 1: put both them hands on the side of his helmet
- 17:59Speaker 1: and he kills the play. It usually works. He's a
- 18:04Speaker 1: bad boy. It's no, it's no doubt about it. What
- 18:08Speaker 1: about um Joe Montana. He's a great quarterback out of Frisco.
- 18:13Speaker 1: What was Frisco? Steve? Oh, he came after, Yeah, he
- 18:21Speaker 1: was after That's where he's from. He was in Frisco, right,
- 18:25Speaker 1: Steve young Y. He makes it hard to have Ji Julia.
- 18:37Speaker 1: It's even hard to agree with him. Who is it?
- 18:43Speaker 1: Who is it? Steve? Steve? You? Oh yeah, he played
- 18:56Speaker 1: some ball. Listen to all not at all, man, I'm
- 19:04Speaker 1: gonna tell you something. Another bad boy was bred far
- 19:09Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, but I'm gonna tell you, man, do damn Marino.
- 19:13Speaker 1: He didn't win, but our lord at that point can throw.
- 19:18Speaker 1: But I'm gonna tell you that boy down there New
- 19:19Speaker 1: Orleans Drew big oh man, Please understand he all that
- 19:24Speaker 1: in the bag of chips. I want to keep just
- 19:27Speaker 1: ripping this dude. Last year was the defense, then this
- 19:31Speaker 1: year was the refs. Yeah yeah, yeah, I know he's hurting.
- 19:36Speaker 1: They're the worst. So nothing's going to be done about
- 19:39Speaker 1: the referee. Well those that referee is out of work?
- 19:44Speaker 1: Is will Yeah, listen to me. If you're a player
- 19:47Speaker 1: and you do that, you're gonna lose your job. If
- 19:49Speaker 1: you're coaching you do that, you're gonna lose your job.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Y'all promise you wonna see that referee Noumbo and the
- 19:54Speaker 1: one that was in the middle of the field that
- 19:56Speaker 1: turned around and looked and still didn't throw a flag.
- 20:00Speaker 1: I thought everybody building saw it. So are they paid
- 20:03Speaker 1: off or what? Nobility of what they didn't do it
- 20:08Speaker 1: takes away from the game. It's like, well, what are
- 20:10Speaker 1: y'all doing? But see, they've got to implement some plan
- 20:14Speaker 1: now because we have too much technology and you can't
- 20:19Speaker 1: determine games the way they determine them this weekend. You
- 20:23Speaker 1: can't have such a blatant miss phone call I misplayed
- 20:28Speaker 1: and then the last two minutes of the game cost
- 20:30Speaker 1: a person a trip to the super Bowl. With all
- 20:33Speaker 1: this technology, it wasn't a blown call. It was a
- 20:37Speaker 1: no call. And it could have been anything. Could have
- 20:40Speaker 1: been passing the fears, it could have been a face guarding,
- 20:44Speaker 1: and it could have been helmet to helmet, but they
- 20:47Speaker 1: didn't call anything. And then when you show it on
- 20:50Speaker 1: the on the screen, people gonna, are you kidding? Me.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Even the dude who did it, the cornerback for the Rams,
- 20:58Speaker 1: he said. He admitted, Hey man, I was just trying
- 21:01Speaker 1: to stop him from schood. Yeah, but you gotta respect
- 21:05Speaker 1: the call. That's all I was taught. All right, Listen,
- 21:09Speaker 1: go to Steve Harvey FM if you want to comment
- 21:11Speaker 1: on what we're talking about. Ray here the football. Uh,
- 21:15Speaker 1: who's the baddest quarterback in the football in the NFL? Ever?
- 21:18Speaker 1: Is it Tom Brady? Is it Tom Brady? Coming up next?
- 21:21Speaker 1: It is the nephew. Can you hear me? Nephew, run
- 21:24Speaker 1: that prank is coming up next? Come on you Montana,
- 21:35Speaker 1: Frank has dumb it. You're listening. Coming up at the
- 21:41Speaker 1: top of the hour and entertainment news, Jay Z and
- 21:43Speaker 1: Meek Mill just announced details of their brand new criminal
- 21:47Speaker 1: justice reform and good news out of LA But right now,
- 21:51Speaker 1: nephew Tommy is here with run that prank back. What
- 21:54Speaker 1: you got for is nev dumb it, damn dumb it, damn.
- 22:01Speaker 1: I'm talking to this lady. We're about to give a
- 22:03Speaker 1: call and let her know that her daughter cannot go
- 22:05Speaker 1: on spring break with the rest of the kids because
- 22:07Speaker 1: her gray's and not up to Paul and you're gonna
- 22:09Speaker 1: have to bring it all into the school that the
- 22:11Speaker 1: time week. That's right, dumb it down, right running. Hello, Hello,
- 22:18Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Kusha, please speaking. Who is this all, Kusha?
- 22:23Speaker 1: This is mister Roland Barn, assistant principal here at academy
- 22:29Speaker 1: or your daughter? A Usa goes, Yes, what's going on?
- 22:33Speaker 1: Is everything okay? Everything is trying to uh well, let
- 22:37Speaker 1: me be honest. It's not good right now. I wanted
- 22:40Speaker 1: to call and actually have a private conversation with you
- 22:44Speaker 1: about Aisha. Oh God, all right, tell me what's going on.
- 22:50Speaker 1: What's going on? Ayisha? Well, as you know, um, spring
- 22:53Speaker 1: break is gonna be coming up in March, you do not, right, Yeah,
- 22:57Speaker 1: I'm aware of that. He's looking forward. Yeah. Well, we
- 23:02Speaker 1: have a bit of an issue here. I have done
- 23:04Speaker 1: some research and I used to doesn't seem to be
- 23:07Speaker 1: doing well as she should be, living up to the
- 23:10Speaker 1: expectations of the academy. And what we're gonna have to
- 23:13Speaker 1: do this spring break is I used to will not
- 23:17Speaker 1: be allowed to take a spring break with the rest
- 23:19Speaker 1: of the kids. We're gonna need her to come into school.
- 23:22Speaker 1: And there's several kids that are not going to be
- 23:25Speaker 1: able to go on spring break, and I used to
- 23:27Speaker 1: happen to be one of them. There's at least forty
- 23:30Speaker 1: to fifty kids that will be coming to school that
- 23:33Speaker 1: entire week that spring break is the most of the
- 23:36Speaker 1: kids are out on spring break. You have to be mistaken.
- 23:39Speaker 1: I mean, my daughters a straight age student. She is
- 23:45Speaker 1: actually the only I USA at the academy. Man, and
- 23:49Speaker 1: I you know, I've looked at her her grades in
- 23:51Speaker 1: the past. She's had some great, so wonderful grades in
- 23:54Speaker 1: the past, and I don't know what's taking place this
- 23:57Speaker 1: seminster um that she just seems to have dropped the ball.
- 24:03Speaker 1: And what we want to do is, you know, keep
- 24:05Speaker 1: these kids focused. As you know, you have to be
- 24:07Speaker 1: accepted to be here at this particular school, So you know,
- 24:11Speaker 1: it leaves me no no other outlet but to have
- 24:14Speaker 1: her come in and we're gonna buckle down and try
- 24:18Speaker 1: to get them back on track. So I wanted to
- 24:20Speaker 1: personally give you a call and let you know what's
- 24:23Speaker 1: going long in I easta here at the Academy and
- 24:25Speaker 1: we're we're this terrible. This is absolutely terrible. I mean
- 24:29Speaker 1: we are here already in January and I'm getting a
- 24:31Speaker 1: call that my daughter is not doing good, and now
- 24:33Speaker 1: you're gonna tell me that she can't go on a
- 24:35Speaker 1: spring break trip in March if she I mean, as
- 24:38Speaker 1: far as I'm just string my daughter straight a straight as.
- 24:40Speaker 1: She's an amazing student, she does really hard work. She
- 24:44Speaker 1: always afford to going to school. And I get a
- 24:46Speaker 1: call today that she can't go in March. Well, I mean,
- 24:49Speaker 1: you gotta be kidding me. I mean, we're I don't.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Are you going somewhere in March, ma'am? I don't. I'm
- 24:53Speaker 1: you're saying going somewhere our trip? Or are you? Are
- 24:56Speaker 1: you scheduling going on I'm not going anywhere. She's going
- 24:59Speaker 1: on a trip. I'm giving her full permission to go
- 25:01Speaker 1: on a trip. Okay, Well, unfortunately, I'm requesting that she's
- 25:06Speaker 1: at school, So I don't know if your trip costs
- 25:10Speaker 1: you a lot of money or if you can get
- 25:11Speaker 1: a refund. But I'm calling you letting you know I
- 25:15Speaker 1: need her there on March eleventh in the classroom so
- 25:19Speaker 1: we can buckle down and try to get her back
- 25:20Speaker 1: on track. No, what I'm telling you, I pay for
- 25:22Speaker 1: the trip and she's going on the trip. I'm sorry,
- 25:25Speaker 1: And no call because it's so late in the game.
- 25:29Speaker 1: I'm sorry, she's going on a trip. No, m she's
- 25:32Speaker 1: not going on a trip. She is actually gonna be
- 25:34Speaker 1: coming into school and she'll beat it on March eleventh,
- 25:37Speaker 1: from Monday to Friday. Now, I don't know who you're
- 25:40Speaker 1: talking to. That's my child, I'm telling you, but she's
- 25:43Speaker 1: your child, But she's my student. And right now, all
- 25:47Speaker 1: of my students are gonna be that are that are
- 25:49Speaker 1: not doing well in their in their classes, are gonna
- 25:52Speaker 1: be there during spring break and they're gonna get their
- 25:55Speaker 1: business together. What are you telling me like you're reprimmending
- 25:59Speaker 1: me like I'm a child. Okay, I'm telling she's gone. No,
- 26:04Speaker 1: she's not going on a trip. And you're telling me
- 26:06Speaker 1: what you're trying to over rude my position, and that's
- 26:10Speaker 1: what's not gonna happen. She has to be there. You
- 26:13Speaker 1: might as well start looking for a refund because she's
- 26:15Speaker 1: not gonna not be there. So I didn't need her
- 26:18Speaker 1: there Monday through Fridy of swing break so we can
- 26:21Speaker 1: get her back on course. Listen, I don't you think
- 26:24Speaker 1: you're talking to I have the ultimate position over even you.
- 26:28Speaker 1: That's my daughter. That's my daughter. I get to tell
- 26:31Speaker 1: you you what I'm doing her, and she's going on
- 26:34Speaker 1: that trip. You're out of here. Happens out not setting
- 26:38Speaker 1: my daughter on the trip. Sorry, not happening. I'm telling
- 26:42Speaker 1: you right now, she's not going on a trip. Is
- 26:47Speaker 1: almost she's not. I'm gonna seek when I used to
- 26:49Speaker 1: tomorrow and let her know where you're not gonna tell
- 26:53Speaker 1: my daughter damn thing. I'm telling her she's not going
- 26:56Speaker 1: on a spring break trip. Do you know why? Because
- 26:58Speaker 1: of grade? I'm not up to bar. She needs to
- 27:01Speaker 1: be more concerned about her rad and not going and
- 27:04Speaker 1: hanging out. You're all of gagging around wherever you're sending her. No,
- 27:07Speaker 1: it's not happening. I don't want all of my students
- 27:10Speaker 1: with passing grade. And I'm a one hundred assistant principal
- 27:14Speaker 1: and all my kids pass. What are you trying to
- 27:17Speaker 1: convince yourself that you're important? Is I'm thinking me a break?
- 27:19Speaker 1: He's like a baby. My daughter is going on the trip,
- 27:22Speaker 1: and that's finally hear me. Okay, you know what, I'll
- 27:24Speaker 1: speak with Isia tomorrow morning. No, you're not, Denis, I
- 27:28Speaker 1: will now here's the deal. I'll leave you this, Kisha.
- 27:32Speaker 1: If I used to does not show up Nday through
- 27:35Speaker 1: for spring break, then maybe you're gonna have to find
- 27:38Speaker 1: out Issia another school. You're threatening me. Now you're threatening me.
- 27:43Speaker 1: You're threatening to kick my daughter out of school because
- 27:45Speaker 1: of the spring break. If your daughter's not here doing
- 27:48Speaker 1: spring break Monday through Friday, then she's out of here again. Please,
- 27:53Speaker 1: I'd like to see you try to give me a
- 27:55Speaker 1: break the scarca. I think this conversation is old. When
- 27:58Speaker 1: my next conversation will be with Issha. Guess what she's
- 28:00Speaker 1: going to spring break? She's staying in the school. You
- 28:03Speaker 1: do something about it. I will have people pickting outside
- 28:05Speaker 1: your your school. You're talking about nonsense. My daughter does
- 28:09Speaker 1: great in school and she's going on a trip and
- 28:11Speaker 1: that's it. And soul running through Friday start spring break.
- 28:18Speaker 1: You're talking to who are you yelling at like that?
- 28:22Speaker 1: Are you mine? I swear I got about over that
- 28:24Speaker 1: kick your What the fuck is wrong with you? You
- 28:28Speaker 1: know you're out of control? God? What you're talking to?
- 28:34Speaker 1: You know what? You know? What? You know? What you
- 28:35Speaker 1: told me about you? Do you know what you tell me?
- 28:38Speaker 1: What did he tell you? She told me to plut
- 28:41Speaker 1: phone called you, his nephew, telling me from the high
- 28:58Speaker 1: but pressure over here. Oh like you good girl? Yep,
- 29:10Speaker 1: that's awesome. Oh my god, I was really good to
- 29:13Speaker 1: go over there. You up. I can't believe this, my god. Okay,
- 29:18Speaker 1: I gotta ask you something. Yeah, I mean the baddest
- 29:22Speaker 1: radio show in the lane without a doubt, Steve Harvey
- 29:26Speaker 1: Morning Show right there. Anybody want me, y'all want me
- 29:31Speaker 1: pranking anybody of y'all. I'm trying. I'm on the roll. No,
- 29:35Speaker 1: we do someone, we don't, we don't. Okay, somebody give
- 29:38Speaker 1: us somebody. Somebody in that phone. You give me somebody famous, baby,
- 29:41Speaker 1: let me get somebody. How about Tyler? How about a prank?
- 29:45Speaker 1: T all right? Coming up? Coming up at the top
- 29:51Speaker 1: of the hour. Entertainment news right after this. You're listening
- 29:55Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Jay Z and Meek Mill
- 30:01Speaker 1: just announced details of their new criminal justice reform project.
- 30:05Speaker 1: This was at a press conference in New York City.
- 30:07Speaker 1: They have joined forces with Patriots owner Robert Kraft, seventy
- 30:11Speaker 1: six IS co owner Michael Ruben, Brooklyn Nets co owner
- 30:15Speaker 1: Clara will Sigh, and more. Okay, the new group is
- 30:18Speaker 1: called the Reform Alliance. CNN host Van Jones will serve
- 30:22Speaker 1: as CEO, and Meek and Ruben will be co chairs.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Meek called creating the Reform Alliance one of the most
- 30:29Speaker 1: important things I've ever done in my life. If you
- 30:32Speaker 1: thought my case was unfair, there are millions of others
- 30:35Speaker 1: dealing with worse situations and caught up in the system
- 30:37Speaker 1: without committing crimes. With this alliance, we want to change
- 30:41Speaker 1: outdated laws, give people hope, and reform a system that
- 30:46Speaker 1: stacked against us. I love that. Jay Z added, if
- 30:50Speaker 1: someone commits a crime, they should go to jail. But
- 30:52Speaker 1: these things are so disproportionate, and the whole world knows it.
- 30:57Speaker 1: It's a humane issue. The new group will work to
- 30:59Speaker 1: change laws and a state by state basis, while running
- 31:02Speaker 1: a public awareness campaign. You can find out more at
- 31:06Speaker 1: reform now dot com. What do you think about that,
- 31:10Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. That's how you do it. Kudos
- 31:15Speaker 1: to meet Meal and to jay Z and then to
- 31:19Speaker 1: have the the real uh smart to partner. This is
- 31:27Speaker 1: almost like when you're dealing with a football owner and
- 31:31Speaker 1: a basketball owner and two hip hop artists. That's as
- 31:36Speaker 1: about as bipartisan as you can get. Understand I mean,
- 31:40Speaker 1: you're talking about cats from two different worlds. Now jay
- 31:44Speaker 1: Z can participate in their world because he's at a
- 31:48Speaker 1: level financially that puts him over there with them. But
- 31:51Speaker 1: like we all know that our African American there are
- 31:54Speaker 1: still things in place that keep us out of certain situations.
- 31:59Speaker 1: And from time to time, racism real will rears ugly
- 32:04Speaker 1: head and remind you of who you are. Now, it
- 32:07Speaker 1: doesn't stop you, but they do things to remind you
- 32:11Speaker 1: that systematic people I'm talking about racist, I'm not talking
- 32:13Speaker 1: about all people. I'm just talking about people who are
- 32:16Speaker 1: of power who are racist. They could they do some
- 32:19Speaker 1: things to remind you who you are. So to partner
- 32:22Speaker 1: with basketball team owners and a guy like Robert Kraft,
- 32:26Speaker 1: very very powerful NFL owners, one of the top powerful
- 32:29Speaker 1: people in the NFL, it's like, really really smart. That's great. Yeah,
- 32:36Speaker 1: it really is good news. Hopefully some change. Well that's
- 32:39Speaker 1: how we're doing. If it's just black people screaming, they
- 32:42Speaker 1: won't listen that it really is. It's just slavery didn't
- 32:51Speaker 1: end because black people were sick of being slaves. Because
- 32:55Speaker 1: we were sick as we got on the boat. We
- 32:59Speaker 1: were sick when we were sitting on auction block. We
- 33:02Speaker 1: were sick of being in the fields from day one,
- 33:06Speaker 1: from day one, we were sick of it. So it
- 33:11Speaker 1: took a lot of African Americans, black people to rally,
- 33:18Speaker 1: but they had to have help, help, And thank God
- 33:22Speaker 1: for Quakers who helped along the underground railroad path, who
- 33:26Speaker 1: helped who that were well meaning whites who helped conceal
- 33:31Speaker 1: a lot of blacks and slaves escaping to the north
- 33:36Speaker 1: a lot. Now there were a lot of a lot
- 33:37Speaker 1: of people with hounds out there hunting them down too,
- 33:41Speaker 1: you know, but you had enough good ones to get
- 33:44Speaker 1: a lot of them through. And you know, it's a
- 33:47Speaker 1: lot of a lot of a lot of tragic stories
- 33:49Speaker 1: out there about people seeking freedom. But you know, this
- 33:53Speaker 1: countryman has always always been a part of the pain
- 33:58Speaker 1: of seeking freedom. And we're supposed to stand for freedom
- 34:02Speaker 1: and justice and liberty, but it's they pick and choose
- 34:06Speaker 1: who they give it to. You know, slaves had to
- 34:09Speaker 1: fight to be free to escape to the north. You
- 34:13Speaker 1: got people south of the border who trying to escape
- 34:18Speaker 1: the situation that they have in South America and Mexico
- 34:22Speaker 1: and for a better life, you know, asylum. I mean
- 34:28Speaker 1: some people here man, because they're just trying to escape
- 34:31Speaker 1: deprivation and pain, and misery, violence and crime. The majority
- 34:37Speaker 1: of people who come across that border are seeking work
- 34:41Speaker 1: and opportunity, the vast majority. And the truth of the
- 34:45Speaker 1: matter is regardless as to how. They are masters at
- 34:48Speaker 1: flipping the script, just like they did the brothers kneeling
- 34:51Speaker 1: on the sideline. They are masters at flipping the script.
- 34:56Speaker 1: The majority of the drugs. Donald Trump is saying, if
- 35:00Speaker 1: we build a wall, crime will fall. That's his new
- 35:03Speaker 1: rhyme today, If you build a wall, crime will fall.
- 35:07Speaker 1: That's not true because the majority of the drugs that
- 35:11Speaker 1: come into this country are from legal entry ports, not
- 35:15Speaker 1: oh that drugs coming from Mexico. Don't get me wrong.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Oh yeah, oh yeah, it's a gateway for weed. It's
- 35:22Speaker 1: a gateway for meth. But guess what, that ain't where
- 35:26Speaker 1: the majority of it coming from, the vast majority of it.
- 35:31Speaker 1: And they ain't packing them over in backpacks either. They're
- 35:34Speaker 1: driving through the at that gate. The most drugs come
- 35:41Speaker 1: through that gate down there, That's where that's where the
- 35:45Speaker 1: most come from. Legal ports of entry. Yeah, they come through.
- 35:48Speaker 1: They can't catch all of it. Yeah, Now, people ain't
- 35:53Speaker 1: backpacking that much dope crossing that cam does it? Man,
- 35:56Speaker 1: come on, sad the way he's flipped the script on
- 36:00Speaker 1: this again. But this is gonna come back to backfire
- 36:03Speaker 1: on him. It's already working, it is, yeahctics Democrats knows
- 36:09Speaker 1: him now. A percentage of people who agree with him
- 36:11Speaker 1: in the Republican Party are much higher. But that's just
- 36:14Speaker 1: because as a disconnect over there for some reason. But
- 36:21Speaker 1: they need they need to open this government. Man, I
- 36:22Speaker 1: know that these people. Oh my god, I know, I know.
- 36:27Speaker 1: All right, Well, listen, coming up in twenty minutes. M
- 36:30Speaker 1: the President Derek Nancy Pelosi to shut down the State
- 36:33Speaker 1: of the Union address, and so she did. We'll talk
- 36:36Speaker 1: about it coming up in twenty minutes after the hour.
- 36:39Speaker 1: You're listening. Well in political news, Speaker of the House,
- 36:46Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi has shut down the president. Okay, so the
- 36:52Speaker 1: government shut down and now Nancy Pelosi shut the president down.
- 36:56Speaker 1: No wall and no State of the Union. In a
- 36:59Speaker 1: memo to the President, Speaker Policy Road, I'm writing to
- 37:02Speaker 1: inform you the House of Representatives will not consider a
- 37:05Speaker 1: resolution authorizing the State of a Union address in the
- 37:09Speaker 1: House of Chamber until the government has reopened. That's what
- 37:13Speaker 1: you do for shutting my flight down. That's what you
- 37:15Speaker 1: do for that potent and the government more importantly, Yeah,
- 37:19Speaker 1: try me. It doesn't make any sense. But I don't
- 37:22Speaker 1: know how Republicans forget that. This is what he said
- 37:26Speaker 1: he'd do. It was all over the news. I'm gonna
- 37:29Speaker 1: own the shut down. I'm gonna shut the government down
- 37:32Speaker 1: when we shut it down out on it said. But
- 37:36Speaker 1: this is what you can't do. You can't use that
- 37:38Speaker 1: and hold all these eight hundred thousand people hostage for
- 37:42Speaker 1: your wall. But you promised the wall. I know tomorrow
- 37:46Speaker 1: they'll miss another paycheck. You promised the wall. You said
- 37:49Speaker 1: Mexico's gonna pay for. But this is nothing to shut
- 37:52Speaker 1: the government down over. I mean they said it's almost
- 37:56Speaker 1: costing like six billion dollars to shut the government, to
- 38:00Speaker 1: keep the government shut down. If he wants, isn't that
- 38:03Speaker 1: what he's asking for? The down payment for what Steve? No,
- 38:06Speaker 1: he wants the price of the wall five point six billion.
- 38:09Speaker 1: But and the Democrats will give you something towards the wall,
- 38:12Speaker 1: but they don't want to give you the five point
- 38:14Speaker 1: seven because they want some of the money to go
- 38:16Speaker 1: to legal entry ports. Uh. Yeah, for Border Secure, but
- 38:21Speaker 1: is saying paying back the furloughed furloughed workers, it's gonna
- 38:25Speaker 1: be about six billion dollars. It's gonna be about the
- 38:27Speaker 1: same money. That's what I'm saying. Six billion. Yeah, this
- 38:33Speaker 1: is ridiculous, I would say Nancy Pelosi. She is standing
- 38:37Speaker 1: her ground on that. Yeah, I mean, come on, you
- 38:41Speaker 1: know this isn't you're playing with people's lives here. He's
- 38:44Speaker 1: always done that. If you read his book The Art
- 38:47Speaker 1: of a Deal, he said this is how he negotiates.
- 38:51Speaker 1: He puts something out there and he doesn't back down.
- 38:54Speaker 1: But Steve, that's when you know when you're in, that's
- 38:57Speaker 1: in business, and when you're in try trying to a
- 39:00Speaker 1: by our companies and you know, more real estate and
- 39:03Speaker 1: things like that. These are people, These are humans we're
- 39:06Speaker 1: talking about. Yeah. Yeah, I understand everything you're saying. Huh
- 39:13Speaker 1: what people don't understand everything you're saying. And what you're
- 39:16Speaker 1: saying is true. But you have a man who does
- 39:18Speaker 1: not know how to manage or govern people. He runs businesses.
- 39:24Speaker 1: This ain't a hotel, This is a country. And these
- 39:29Speaker 1: people don't work for you. These ain't your damn employees. Yeah,
- 39:34Speaker 1: you work for us. Get it right right, all right, listen,
- 39:39Speaker 1: we gotta move on. Coming up at thirty four after
- 39:42Speaker 1: the hour. Excuse me, coming up at thirty four after
- 39:45Speaker 1: the hour. Steph Curry and his wife put their marriage
- 39:48Speaker 1: first before their kids. Plus Steve is going to give
- 39:51Speaker 1: out some marriage advice as well. Well, yeah, I do too.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Right after this. You better know it. You're listening, Harvey
- 40:00Speaker 1: Morning Show. Celebrity chef Vaisha Curry, wife of Stefan Curry
- 40:05Speaker 1: of the NBA's Golden State Warriors, says a sacred to
- 40:08Speaker 1: staying married. You guys listen who are married, They say,
- 40:12Speaker 1: the secret is to not put the kids first. This
- 40:19Speaker 1: is trending everywhere everywhere. Aisha said that she and Steph
- 40:24Speaker 1: got advice from both of their parents, and both of
- 40:26Speaker 1: their parents have been married a long long time, more
- 40:29Speaker 1: than thirty years. The one thing they both shared with us,
- 40:32Speaker 1: they said, is just making sure that we put each
- 40:36Speaker 1: other first, because when you become a parent, you want
- 40:40Speaker 1: to put your kids first, and we do, but we
- 40:42Speaker 1: do it to second to our relationship. She's saying, Ultimately,
- 40:46Speaker 1: when our relationship is good, the kids are happy and
- 40:49Speaker 1: they're thriving, and our family life is good. We have
- 40:52Speaker 1: to put that into perspective and realize that it's not
- 40:55Speaker 1: us being selfish, it's making sure we set a strong foundation.
- 41:00Speaker 1: And I love this. I love this. This has been
- 41:02Speaker 1: trending everywhere because a lot of people do not agree
- 41:05Speaker 1: with this. They do think that you should put the
- 41:07Speaker 1: kids first before your partner nine second. Ain't nothing wrong
- 41:11Speaker 1: with being second, right, There ain't nothing wrong. But I mean,
- 41:14Speaker 1: she's right. You have to build a strong foundation, and
- 41:17Speaker 1: that's the marriage, the relationship between the two people who
- 41:20Speaker 1: made the kids right. Steve, what they're saying, I agree
- 41:24Speaker 1: with one hun do oh absolutely absolutely. Now do you
- 41:31Speaker 1: have to care for these kids, love them and guide them. Absolutely.
- 41:37Speaker 1: But the cornerstone of the family is the parents. If
- 41:43Speaker 1: the parents break up, the family is fractured. The suffering
- 41:49Speaker 1: starts from every level of every child's life. I want
- 41:53Speaker 1: my mama, I want my daddy. Yeah, well, because you've
- 41:56Speaker 1: lost focus of who you are. Were that got y'all?
- 41:59Speaker 1: The kid didn't put you all together in the first place.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Y'all might have came together had the kids, But the
- 42:04Speaker 1: kids don't put you in a marriage. You should be
- 42:07Speaker 1: married because you're in love and you can't live without
- 42:10Speaker 1: each other. Well, you've got to tend to that. Even
- 42:14Speaker 1: when you have kids. Mommy and daddy are first. Now
- 42:19Speaker 1: they're very important and as infants, they can't live without you.
- 42:24Speaker 1: So Daddy, no, he gonna get pushed off to the
- 42:27Speaker 1: side because we got an infant who must be cared
- 42:30Speaker 1: for twenty four seven, completely and totally dependent on us. Daddy,
- 42:35Speaker 1: get that, Mama, get that. But you've got to service
- 42:39Speaker 1: one another and continue the service because if you don't,
- 42:44Speaker 1: Tommy said it, the marriage will suffer. If the marriage suffers,
- 42:49Speaker 1: the family becomes fractured, and then what do we have.
- 42:53Speaker 1: You have all the time you want for the kids,
- 42:56Speaker 1: but you have fractured the family. And what I Easu
- 42:59Speaker 1: Curry is saying, it's absolutely important. She's not saying that
- 43:04Speaker 1: the kids ain't important, that the kids don't get to
- 43:07Speaker 1: be thought of first. And Steve not only that, she
- 43:11Speaker 1: went to some experts, people that they respected and admired,
- 43:15Speaker 1: who had been together married for more than thirty years years.
- 43:22Speaker 1: I think what she's saying it kind of goes against
- 43:25Speaker 1: when you're a parent, your parent instincts that you're saying
- 43:29Speaker 1: that the kids aren't first. You know what I'm saying
- 43:32Speaker 1: when she said that, people are like, what, yeah, you
- 43:34Speaker 1: know you don't put your children. People were so upset
- 43:37Speaker 1: about this. They listened to me. They're not But you
- 43:40Speaker 1: know what, people look, it's gonna take the world from
- 43:44Speaker 1: the different opinions. So you can disagree with Aisha and
- 43:47Speaker 1: be perfectly right with how you want to do it.
- 43:50Speaker 1: We were talking about should boys and girls be raised
- 43:53Speaker 1: differently on the show the other day, and a woman
- 43:56Speaker 1: was adamant, you should raise a girl no different than
- 43:59Speaker 1: you raise a boy. Why would you do so? I disagreed,
- 44:02Speaker 1: that's the problem. You're treating your daughters different than your boys.
- 44:05Speaker 1: They are different. I don't know if you noticed, but
- 44:11Speaker 1: but they damn show very different and think totally different.
- 44:15Speaker 1: They process information totally different, and they wired different. But
- 44:20Speaker 1: it's nothing that she came up with. Is she went
- 44:23Speaker 1: to some experts who would who had done it and
- 44:26Speaker 1: it worked for them. You know, coming if I don't
- 44:29Speaker 1: if what Tommy, I was just saying, if I don't
- 44:33Speaker 1: go out to lunch with my wife, to a movie,
- 44:36Speaker 1: to concert, if I don't keep that consistently going, we
- 44:40Speaker 1: were slipping away from each other. We gotta have some fun.
- 44:42Speaker 1: We gotta go out. We gotta kick it. We have
- 44:44Speaker 1: to kick it fun, all right. Coming up next it
- 44:48Speaker 1: is the nephew with the prank phone call. Right after this,
- 44:54Speaker 1: you're listening, all right, guys, listen. Coming up in the
- 44:59Speaker 1: town top of the hour, right about four minutes after,

- 48:40Speaker 1: lives older than Mexico. I got family las over here,
- 48:44Speaker 1: you know, in the States, like I don't. I don't
- 48:46Speaker 1: want to be a part of that. I don't want
- 48:49Speaker 1: to be a part of anything that compacted to do

- 48:58Speaker 1: six six, six days. I mean that's pretty good money.
- 49:01Speaker 1: Of course, there's great money. But I wouldn't be a
- 49:04Speaker 1: part of this book if you're paying me a hurry
- 49:06Speaker 1: bucks an hour or a thousand bucks an hour. I mean,
- 49:08Speaker 1: you know, I just respect them to my people, my brother.

- 50:24Speaker 1: I don't know everyone's nationality, sir. You just came. What
- 50:28Speaker 1: about the last name? How about that? So are you
- 50:31Speaker 1: looking at this last name? I'm not looking at the

- 50:38Speaker 1: you were Latino on your name is poverty, I got that,
- 50:41Speaker 1: but you have it's Javier, not Harvey. Only my friends

- 51:32Speaker 1: the way that cousin Louis, cousin Louise, you got him
- 51:37Speaker 1: signed up and he's the one that recommended me. Because
- 51:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna pick it. I'm gonna go down right now
- 51:43Speaker 1: up part of my mother. You're better enough. Tell me

- 54:24Speaker 1: on tight, we got it for you. Here it is
- 54:26Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter subject neither one of us can be trusted.
- 54:30Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, my husband and I are in our
- 54:32Speaker 1: late thirties and have been married for fifteen years. We've
- 54:37Speaker 1: had some hiccups in our marriage and we went to
- 54:40Speaker 1: counseling to fix the issues. I thought we were doing
- 54:43Speaker 1: really good since the counseling, but here we are a
- 54:46Speaker 1: year later, and my husband's insecurities got the best of him.
- 54:50Speaker 1: He created a fake social media account and pretended to
- 54:54Speaker 1: be one of my exes that I dated before we
- 54:56Speaker 1: got married. He started sending me sweet messages Poe using
- 55:00Speaker 1: as my ex, but I was very stern about letting
- 55:03Speaker 1: him know that I'm happily married and not interested in
- 55:06Speaker 1: him at all. In that way, I thought it was
- 55:09Speaker 1: weird that my ex would still want me after over
- 55:12Speaker 1: fifteen years of not seeing me. I was intrigued, but
- 55:16Speaker 1: still not interested. But here's where I messed up and
- 55:20Speaker 1: got caught up. I set a date to meet my
- 55:23Speaker 1: ex who was really my husband, at a sushi bar
- 55:26Speaker 1: for dinner. The day I was supposed to meet my ex,
- 55:29Speaker 1: I lied and told my husband that I was going
- 55:32Speaker 1: to dinner with my girls, but I didn't tell him where.
- 55:36Speaker 1: When I pulled up at the sushi restaurant to meet
- 55:39Speaker 1: my ex, my husband called me and explained to me
- 55:42Speaker 1: how he set me up, and then he told me
- 55:44Speaker 1: to bring my lion cheating behind back home. GAD. Now
- 55:49Speaker 1: I was embarrassed and really really upset with him. I've
- 55:54Speaker 1: admitted I was wrong, but at the same time, I
- 55:56Speaker 1: feel like he owes me a big apology too. Then
- 56:00Speaker 1: this is not normal behavior to trick your wife like this.
- 56:03Speaker 1: Now we're back in counseling, but I don't think this
- 56:05Speaker 1: marriage works for me anymore. Is it okay for my husband?
- 56:08Speaker 1: To play games with me like this. Who was more
- 56:11Speaker 1: at fault me or him? I want to get a divorce?
- 56:15Speaker 1: Please help now, this right here? This is something right? Yeah,
- 56:26Speaker 1: normally you know, I would definitely suggest counseling and some
- 56:30Speaker 1: therapy to help get troubled marriage back on track. But
- 56:34Speaker 1: it doesn't seem like your husband got any good from
- 56:37Speaker 1: it when he was in it the first time. His
- 56:40Speaker 1: deceitful behavior only made things worse because you got caught
- 56:43Speaker 1: up in it, which turned into lying from you and
- 56:48Speaker 1: possibly cheating from you on him. No, I know you
- 56:52Speaker 1: didn't cheat, but this was a dangerous game he was playing. Yes,
- 56:55Speaker 1: you both were wrong to answer your question, him for
- 56:58Speaker 1: setting you up and you for lying to him and
- 57:01Speaker 1: for going Uh, this is not normal behavior. You're right
- 57:06Speaker 1: about that. Uh yeah, he he owes you an apology too.
- 57:10Speaker 1: This is a mess. Like I say, I'm glad you're
- 57:13Speaker 1: back in counseling. I don't know. It didn't work the
- 57:15Speaker 1: first time. Maybe you guys should have chose I hope
- 57:17Speaker 1: you chose a different counselor this time, because it definitely
- 57:20Speaker 1: didn't work because that big set up he put on you.
- 57:24Speaker 1: But um, yeah, you gotta be uh you can't be
- 57:30Speaker 1: doing this. Okay, I don't care how good it sounds.
- 57:33Speaker 1: You know, yeah, if you didn't cheat, but you lied
- 57:38Speaker 1: and you almost cheated. Okay, So you guys are both
- 57:42Speaker 1: at fault and two wrongs definitely don't make a right.
- 57:46Speaker 1: Uh you want to get a divorce, that's on you,
- 57:49Speaker 1: Steve who. First of all, let me just say this.
- 58:00Speaker 1: These two people is sick of each other and have
- 58:07Speaker 1: been sick of each other for quite some time because
- 58:12Speaker 1: they've just become so bored with one another, so familiar
- 58:18Speaker 1: with one another, because they've been married half of their life,
- 58:24Speaker 1: almost they weren't able to experience any of the other
- 58:30Speaker 1: things in life or partake of many things in life.
- 58:33Speaker 1: So they've just been married. They've had a tough marriage,
- 58:38Speaker 1: They've been to counselor several times, and they thought they
- 58:41Speaker 1: had worked out. Well, your husband, let this insecurity get
- 58:48Speaker 1: the best of it. So this dude creates a fake
- 58:52Speaker 1: social media page then got on it and pretended to
- 58:56Speaker 1: be one of her exes that she dated before we
- 58:59Speaker 1: got married. Now that's fifteen years ago. Oh, they're in
- 59:03Speaker 1: the late thirties. Okay, I got it now, I thought
- 59:06Speaker 1: they was thirty they're in the late thirties, which means
- 59:10Speaker 1: they could be about thirty eight, thirty nine something like that.
- 59:14Speaker 1: Been married fifteen years, that's twenty three, uh, something like that.
- 59:22Speaker 1: So pretended to be this dude that she dated before
- 59:25Speaker 1: they got married, and you know, you were very stern.
- 59:34Speaker 1: You let him know you're happily married, not interested in
- 59:36Speaker 1: him at all in that way, and you can't thought
- 59:40Speaker 1: it was kind of crazy that your ex steel wanted
- 59:42Speaker 1: you over fifteen years and ain't even seen you. You
- 59:47Speaker 1: were shocked and probably called. You know, since he ain't
- 59:51Speaker 1: seen you, he don't know what he getting sold you,
- 59:55Speaker 1: probably just as surprises he would have been the heads
- 59:58Speaker 1: showed up, you know, you know what I'm saying. Yeah,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: you know, ain't none of us what we was fifteen
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: years ago, and that could have bought on a lot
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: of surprise. So anyway, you got intrigued but still not interested.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: But here's why I messed up and got caught up.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: I'll see right here, lady, now you're line. See, you
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: got intrigued and you got caught up because you know
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: what you did. You set a date to meet your
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: ex who was really your husband, at a sushi bars
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: for dinner the day I was here to meet my ex.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: I lied to my husband, told him I was going
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: to dinner with my girls. I didn't tell him where.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: Then I pulled up at the sushi restaurant to meet
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: my ex. Slash your husband. Your husband called you and
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: explained to me how he set you up. Then he
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: told me to bring my line cheat behind back home.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: I was embarrassed his wild love. I was embarrassed and
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: really really upset with him. Girl, you better do it.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: You better do like me and do you better that scrill.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: You better take. The best defense is a good office.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: You better hair up and be madder than him. For
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: I was proud of this girl right here, because if
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: that ain't a dude move, I ain't never seen one.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: They call you cheating, but you mad to hell? You
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: in my phone fault. All right, Steve, listen, we're coming back.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: We'll have part two of your response to today's stoop.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: You're gonna find something that's right subject. Neither one of
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: us can be trusted. We'll be back at twenty three
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: after right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve, let's go.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: Let's recap today's Strubberry letter. Neither one of us can
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: be trusted as a subject. Boards Lady after my heartness
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: letter here and a husband has some trouble, been married
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: for a while, counseling her husband pretty insecure because obviously
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: she's messed around. If your man is insecure, it's because
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: you've messed around on him, and he's probably messed around
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: on you. That's why both y'all went to counseling, because
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: y'all both in trip. But it's insecurity got the best
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: of him, so he created a fake social media page
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: and he acted like he was one of your ex
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: boyfriends that you dated before y'all got married. He started
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: communicating with him, You started communicating back. He was trying
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: to be stern with the tailor man. You wasn't interested
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: that you had are happily married, and you had a
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: husband and all this here, But you couldn't understand why
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: after fifteen years this man still wanted you. He ain't
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: even seen you. He don't even know what you can
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: blow it up to me. I stopped that. I'm talking
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: about her career. I know, okay, So you took it away.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Help I took it like you would say it. We're
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: seeing fifteen years people can blow up. You can become
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: something you've always wanted to be, or you can just
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: can't believe who you've become. Either way, you couldn't believe
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: he contacted you at fifteen years but you still wasn't interested.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: You say you had no interest in him like that,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: But do you say then this way you messed up.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: You set a date with him. Well, if you weren't interested,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: what you set to date bo, you just wanted to
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: see curiosity killed a cat that you took your kid
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: a cat down to the sushi box? Set a date
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: with your ex? Who really your husband? You lied to
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: your husband, told him you was on head dinner with
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: your girls. You pull up in the park at let
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: your husband call you come here? And then you know
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: what he said? What hey? Let me tell you something,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: will you? Who you think? I am? You down there
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: thinking you find the hoss or sushi with old boy? Well,
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: let me tell you some old boy in me. I
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: set you up. I created an account and act like
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: I was him. Now you bring your Lyne mass home
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: back to this house. Steve Harvey, huh you know what
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: you said there talking about huh? Okay? You you bring
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: your trifling Okay, you bring your trifling cheating. Yeah, he
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: ain't seen you in fifteen years. He don't know like
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: I know. Don't back in that car. Come on back
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: to this. You were sad, I'm gonna hurt you. I'm
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: gonna hurt you. Huh. You heard me go on? So
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: then this word got good. She climbed back in that car.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I told her belt on that stage we are now
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: she embarrassed because she just probably buttons off front of
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: her blouse and got caught on and she was making
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: a left turning to a blouse clean. She was real.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: I got really upset with him. Now I have admitted
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: that I was wrong, but at the same time, I
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: feel like he owes me a big apology to Are
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: you for real? Hey lady, you gonna apologize to you.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: You're gonna be waiting a long yes time, but that
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: he should. He tricked her. Ain't nobody in her. You
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: can't get tricked if you ain't tricky. Yeah it didn't.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: You understand you can't get tricked if you ain't being tricky.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Are you being tricky? That's why you got tricked? If
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: you're stuck to your original slogan, I'm happily man, I'm
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: not interested in you. You wouldn't have been down at
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: the restaurant. You're good, Well, you're surprised he wanted to
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: see you. Let me show you all of me? Then, OK? Yeah,
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: all that just catching hell he watching her get dressed? Yeah,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: where you going? Baby? I hit a hand din, Oh
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: my god, why you ain't all those space? Don't ask
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: me about these sitting up in here? And I feel
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: like he on me a big apology too. This is
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: not normal behavior to trick your wife like this. Now
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: we're back in counseling. What is y'all back in counseling?
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: But I don't think that this marriage works for me anymore.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: Yeah no, because she was going down there to fix
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: that sushi. But old big, old Cleveland's come through a little,
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: a little hook in the game. Don't nobody want you
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: but me bring your gass home that you don't do
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: the hair whale? Nobody won't. I don't even know why
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: you don't trying to act like you like sushi. You
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: know your ass shouldn't have been going down to a
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: sushi restaurant. You don't even like sushi. All we eat
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: up in here fry fish. Now you're dying there with
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: a little man like you eat sushi you don't even
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: know damn sushi, you eat the right sushi. I don't
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: think this marriage worked for me no more. Hell no
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: husband playing games with me like that? Who was more

- 1:09:04Speaker 1: back in the day, you know, And I'm gonna advance
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: something that might be a little sophisticated, you know, because
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: Sherlt scrawberries and I you know, we grew up Chicago, right.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: Can you just walk up to you and ask you
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: what set you claim? Maybe that's Sherlt. You just ask
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: you what's that? They like? Right? Uh? Okay, where are
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: you from? She claims, Jesus, follow me, she claims Jesus.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: She's gang banging for Christ, she claims Jesus. Now the
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: new gang is Nasa Pelosi. She's a gool man. Let
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: Jason and Nasa Pelosi. They no drive by. I'm gonna
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: put mine right on letterhead. You ain't coming here us

- 1:09:56Speaker 1: because all that you're doing, you are spending in the
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: same six billion. Does you asked for for water? Don
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: Nobody won't that. They just said, oh, seeing then there's
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: a hundred tunnels under the Mexico. Hundred tunnels Mexico saying, hey,
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: we got all the time in the world. What you
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: try to do me? They got so many tunnels, y'all

- 1:10:31Speaker 1: got the wall. You ain't got you ain't got no plywood.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: We were not already got a hundred tunnels to your
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: almost built wall that you really can't fit. Fish can't

- 1:10:51Speaker 1: them Chopper was naked. Everybody out come. They say, we
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: listen to Trump. By the look Stu, he gonna he
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: not gonna get reelected because it's his supporter. See, it's
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: not just our brothers and sisters in DC, it's all
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: over the country. If Montana, it's places where he won.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: The dbeople are not going to work. Every place. I
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: went through the airport, I hugged him and I said,
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: thank you, thank you for coming to work. I want
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: to thank everybody's coming work to be everybody, but they
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: need to finish this. And Trump he played you much.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: You had the House and the Senate, and you're stupid.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: I'm sorry you're stupid. But didn't even bring this forward.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: He didn't bring it forward when you had the power
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: to do it. Now you up against one of the
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: shrewdest politicians in the game, Nancy Pelosi, and you shouldn't
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: have a game. Our sister Maxine Waters. That count of power,
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: So Peter Power, wie. There's a new sheriff in town
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: and the name is Maxine Waters. I like all those
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: papers in the box. Let's go. I love this right now.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: Almost made me want to stop being a Republican. But
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: I got to be in the meeting, so I can go.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: You're gonna be in the meeting. I love being in
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: the meetings. Now, Junior, let me change something. And they
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: be trying to put me out, and I'd be like, okay,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: give me all the money I donated. Then, since you
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: want to put somebody out, I thought, so, I ain't
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: seen nobody to deal with Russian prostitute since the wire
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: went off? What the hell? Hbo list Remember they had
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: all the Russian prostitutes and that that tanker canist man
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: that day gonna eat yours help, but don't sing yeah
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: yeah man man listener. I couldn't even watch that. I
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: was like, y'all you lost me with this. Oh let
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: me say, Can I say something about the Hebrew Israelites
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: and the Indian man and the children kids? Yes, let
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: me tell you some. First of all, Pro Francis is
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: embarrassed about what they're doing over the Po Francis and
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: not send them to watch the DC to get involved
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: in the altercation. And everybody know when the Hebrew is,
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: when the black Hebrew is relized is talking, don't say nothing.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: Don't don't say nothing because you're not gonna win that back.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: You notice what they did, they smirking all in the
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: face of the Indian man that's trying to be peaceful.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: What they did not do. It's crossed the threshold of
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: the brothers that one. Okay, did I go too fund
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: y'all gotta cry. You ain't seen nobody. You didn't see
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: nobody go over there, whether where the brother Hebrew is
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: relized with because they know what time it is, they
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: know what time its smirking. You can get your little
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: hat knocked off. See you're playing around, you can get
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: your little hat knocked What what is the new saying, brothers,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: it's gonna get your gonna get your little hat knocked out.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: You play too much that the world is different. Well,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: I was well. C Carla told me to stop saying
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: words with vows and too consonants. And I've asked you,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Chryl she did. I don't even know where the valent
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: constant it's about two cousins. And Colin would call you
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: on a on a block number where you think it's
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: like piece of hunter grum, call you to let you
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: go your orders outside. Crazy. When she wanted to get
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: you together, she would not call you on the number
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: you've got. She would crazy and you'll be lying, hold
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: that he with my piece. Oh Carl, Okay, okay, thank you?
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: How you get this? How you get listen? Real talking?
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: It's Joe Biden gonna run or what he needs to.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: Well right now, Cheryl, it looks like he's the only
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: one that could really beat Trump right now. Yes, he
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: looks like that. While I'm happy, I love comedy, but
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: now we've got to get through the clutter. Yes, right,
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: she's got to make it through the primaries. Yes that
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Iowa whatever. I don't know what all of that. Yeah,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: they get you together. Yeah, so I don't I don't know, man,
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: I just I just don't know yet. Yeah, but I
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: think she make a good vice president, don't you think
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: to Joe Biden, no shade on her. I'm just saying,
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: when we're trying to get to win in hand, we
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: need an old school dude up there or woman up there.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: But really old school dude, and then have her be
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: vice president, grow her in the presidency. We take control
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: of the White House for at least sixteen to twenty
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: four years. Did I just repeat the Republican strategy? Thank you, Cheryl.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: We got to get out of here. We love your
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: we got gun everything. I'm going back in this Republican meeting, Charley,
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: I got to go back. Get the knowledge. Coming up
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, in Carlin is here
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: with her Reality update. Right after this, you're listening to
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: show Tommy do the Honors. It's that time. Getting ready.
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: She is here Colin Farrell with Reality I shan't. Let's
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: come on, come on, thank you nephew. All right, watch
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: watch how much I know? Come on? Okay, let's talk
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: about Celebrity Big Brother. Have you been watching that? But
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: the mooch right, yeah, dude was with Donald Trump White
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: House Communications for eleven days. Yeah, yeah, create on the
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: of the Assault Convention. Mm hmmm. So anyway, so if
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: you don't know Big Brother, it's a group what celebrity
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: Big Brother? Anyways, reality show group of celebrities. They they
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: live in this house for several weeks and the cameras
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: and microphones that followed every move like twenty four hours
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: a day, and so each week got too much money
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: for this hill. Okay, check this out. Each week someone
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: is voted out of the house, and the last remaining
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: house guests on this edition of Celebrity Big Brother will
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: win a quarter of a million dollars. So some of
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: the celebrities include our guy, Anthony Mooch. You know SKIRMOUCHI.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: We've been talking about him, the former White House direct
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: Communications Director of President Trump. He's good. Tamar Braxton, former
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: NFL players. Is it really the Mooch? Yeah? Okay, let
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: me tell you who else is in the house. Tamar Braxton, NFL.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: Former NFL player Ricky Williams, rick at Rick Yay, yeah,
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Candy Barszy know why he owned the show he had
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: now Junior Candy Barris in Atlanta, she's on there. Uh huh.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: Olympic athlete Lolo Jones. Why everybody loved Lolo? Yeah? Yeah, okay,
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: So let me just update you. The Mooch got voted
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: off already. He's gone because what happened. You know, he
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: didn't win Head of Households and you know, you know,
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: Ryan I didn't think they won't have nothing in common
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: with nobody in the healthy Anybody liked talking to him, No,
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: they did. I don't know. I wasn't real thrilled about
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: him being in there anyway fit in. Yeah, I didn't
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: think he is. Yeah, I didn't think he was a
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: good man football to Steve, listen to stand, I don't
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: stick out the yeah. Yeah. So anyway, there's this beef
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: going on between Tamar. I don't understand what's going on.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: I guess there was drama Tommy between Tamar and Candy
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: before they actually got into the Big brother House. So
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: they were arguing about little bitty things, and Tamar and
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: and Candy were arguing about who's relevant in Atlanta and
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: then being a star you know with reality TV. You know,
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: it was just a crazy argument. I think Tamar went
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: too far. She took it there, and Kenny was like,
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: why are you going there? And then Kendy she just
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: didn't understand it at all. And then Tamar was also
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: mad at Candy for what happened on the Escape tour.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: Tamar was on the tour, she said Candy was talking
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: about her and Tamar said she was going through a
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: rough time in her marriage. Blah blah, blah. Take a listen.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: I have a little sound from that. Take a listen. Now,
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: it's not going to go well because when somebody tell
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: you how, when somebody tell you how they feel for
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: you to laugh is because I wasn't trying to attack you,
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: Okay whatever. I can't take this laughing. I can't tell
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: with this laughing. It's hilarious to me. The fact that
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: she's trying to make me this villain in her life,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: It's like totally ridiculous. Wow, man, Yeah that's Candy. That's
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: what Candy was saying. I don't like it, man, she
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: was crying. It was just a lot. I'm like what
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: I've had Tamo on my show. She a lot. Now,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: she a lot. She breaks, she get into it with everybody.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: Only then she nervous man on on on your talk, man,
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: I had several girls on the show nervous about it.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: I don't want to say nothing, Tama don't agree with yeah,
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: because she'll go there, yeah. We Candy is usually the
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: level headed one, right, carlok. Even on Atlanta Housewives, she's
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: kind of getting into it. Yeah Candy there, Yeah, they're
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: trying to push her buttons and she's kind of go
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: you know she'll go there. I'm saying Candy is an
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: angel about any by any means. But I'm saying this
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: situation with Tamar just feel like Tamar's taking it too far.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: It's just not right. But Candy got real business. Yeah,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: she's successful. So you know, huh, Tamar has a career.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: Don't ask him to You ain't seen Candy? Candy coded?

- 1:21:54Speaker 1: your uncle, Tamar Junior. You just talking. Don't say nothing

- 1:22:48Speaker 1: you can say something right here? Go ahead. Yeah, I'm
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: not sure. I think so. I think I want to
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: hear about he's gonna say. I'm not saying nothing. Hey,
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: I mean she is really really a super sweet person
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: I've had on my should Yeah I met her. She's
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: really really a sweetheartvard person, and she's saving herself from
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: mary marriage. Yeah, but we needs to hear this up though,
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: I'm well, shut up. Will you promise you weren't gonna
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: say anything from a running from Carla? Please continue? She's
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: she's saving herself from marriage. Yeah, as it should be. Yeah,
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: all right, Carla, hang on, Uh let's want me to
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: come back. Yeah, we got to talk about Atlanta Housewives. Yeah,
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: all right, More with Carla and her reality updated. More

- 1:24:12Speaker 1: here we go, Here we go, We're back. We're part two, Carla,
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: the one and only with Reality update. Yes, thank you, nephew.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: Don't say nothing else after that. All right, we talked
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: about Candy, Burris and Tamar and all of them on
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: Celebrity Big Brother. Now let's move on to talk about
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: Candy Real Housewives of Atlanta Ladies. Yeah, okay, Steve, So
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: you know how you talking about they always go on
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: these trips. Well, the ladies are in Tokyo and so
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: this is a trip that Eva, she put together. And
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: they arrived in Tokyo and Shirley, did you see that Marlow?
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: None of her bags of all the people say, Carla,
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: we could have written this if we wanted. You can't
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: make and so Barlow's bags didn't make it. She was
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: not not happy. Anyway, the ladies got settled in the
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: old tell and Eva and the one of the new
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: ladies on the show, Tanya, she's a friend. Anyway, they
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: hired a Japanese tour guide to help them, you know,
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: see the sites and you know, go around Tokyo. And
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: so one of the things that the tour guide told
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: the ladies was that punctuality and being on time is
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: a big thing for the Japanese culture and it's disrespectful
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: and an insult if they're late. So she was letting
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: them know ahead of time. Hey, each day, Joe did
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: walk in there and tell them, y'all got to be
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: onbody from Atlanta. Tell them that we have CP tell right,
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: they were supposed to be there at eleven, right, Carla right?
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: So right. So the very next day, of course, they well,
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: and Nity she's usually usually is out that late, but
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: she was the one that was late that day, so
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: she was, you know, she gave them a warning about
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: their punctuality. So they went to see sights and they
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: went to this act. They went to this temple y'all,
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: so they had their fortunes. They were reading stuff about
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: their fortunes and this temple. And the girl Tanya, she's
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: been engaged for a while and so Ninie kind of
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: told her that when she was reading her fortune, well
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: maybe you should marry somebody else. So later on they
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: went to lunch, so the girl Tanya asked Ninie what
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: did she mean by that, because she was kind of
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: offended that she would say something shot. Let me tell you,
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: I don't know what you think you ought to marry
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: somebody else? Mean, well, she was just yeah, but she
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: was like, well, why are you going there? Why are
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: you all in mind with my business and my fiance
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: and you know, and Honi that Ninie just fired off.
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: I don't give a blank who you marry the true Nini.
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: For Nini got too much fresh on hall anyway, And
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: and that was it because grag Her and Gregg were
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: beefing before she got on the trip, and she wanted
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: to get away from Greg. Gregg's was acting mean and
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: you know, he's been sick and all of these things.
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: So Nini was not having it. So anyway, I'll update
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: you later. I gotta go hit me up at y
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: Love Greg. All right, thank you, Carlin. As always, we'll
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show. Jay Z and
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: Meek Mel just announced details of their new criminal justice
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: reform project. This was at a press conference in New
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: York City. They have joined forces with Patriots owner Robert Kraft,
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: seventy six IS co owner Michael Ruben, Brooklyn Nets co
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: owner Clara will sigh and more Okay. The new group
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: is called the Reform Alliance. CNN host Van Jones will
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: serve as CEO, and Meek and Rubin will be co chairs.
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: Meek called creating the Reform Alliance one of the most
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: important things I've ever done in my life. If you
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: thought my case was unfair, there are millions of others
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: dealing with worse situations and caught up in the system
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: without committing crimes. With this alliance, we want to change
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: outdated laws, give people hope, and reform a system that's
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: stacked against us. I love that. Jay Z added, if
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: someone commits a crime, they should go to jail, but
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: these things are so disproportionate, and the whole world knows it.
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: It's a humane issue. The new group will work to
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: change laws on a state by state basis while running
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: a public awareness campaign. You can find out more at
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: reform now dot com. What do you think about that,
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. That's how you do it. Yeah,
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: kudos to meet Meal and to jay Z and then
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: to have the US the real smart to partner when
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: you're dealing with a football owner and a basketball owner
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: and two hip hop artists. That's as about as bipartisan
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: as you can get understand. I mean, you're talking about
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: cats from two different worlds. Now, jay Z can participate
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: in their world because he's at a level financially that
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: puts him over there with them. But like we all
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: know that our African American they are still things in
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: place that keep us out of certain situations. And from
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: time to time, racism will rears ugly head and remind
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: you of who you are. Now, it doesn't stop you,
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: but they do things to remind you that systematic people
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: I'm talking about racists. I'm not talking about all people.
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: I'm just talking about people who are of power who
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: are racist. They could they do some things to remind
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: you who you are. So to partner with basketball team
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: owners and a guy like Robert Kraft, very powerful NFL owners,
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: one of the top powerful people in the NFL, it's
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: like really really smart. That's great. Yeah, it really is
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: good news. Hopefully some change. Well that's how we're doing.
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: If it's just black people screaming, they won't listen, that's
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: it really is. It's Slavery didn't end because black people
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: were sick of being slaves. Because we were sick as
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: we got on the boat. We were sick when we
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: were sitting on auction block. We were sick of being
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: in the fields from day one, from day one, we
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: were sick of it. So it took a lot of
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: African Americans, black people to rally, but they had to
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: have help, help, And thank God for Quakers who helped
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: along the underground railroad path who helped who that were
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: well meaning whites who helped conceal a lot of blacks
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: and slaves escaping to the north a lot. Now there
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: were a lot of a lot of people with hounds
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: out there hunt them down to yeah, you know, but
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: you had enough good ones to get a lot of
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: them through. All right. Coming up next closing remarks from
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: the one and only Steve Harvey, our last break of
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: the day. You don't want to miss it coming up
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: at forty nine after right after this, you're listening, all right, Steve,
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: last break of the day. Please leave us with some
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: closing remarks like only you can. This is to help
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: you make ready for your blessings. Now, what I'm gonna
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: give you is gonna be hard for most people to do.
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: I already know that it was difficult for me to do.
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: But a very very wealthy person taught this to me.
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: I didn't think much of it until I did it,
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: and boil, boil, boy, did it help make room for
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: what God had for me? Not only that it freed
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: me up. And I'll tell you what this very very
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: successful people person told me. If I told you his name,
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: you probably wouldn't know him. He's not famous. He's just
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: extremely wealthy. And when I tell you extremely wealthy, I
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: mean it. But if I said his name, you wouldn't
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: even notice guy. If I showed you a picture of him,
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: the average person wouldn't even know who he was. But
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: he taught this to me. He said, in your journey,
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: if you want to really clear the slate, get a
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: fresh start, and prepare yourself to receive what all God
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: has for you, you have to take inventory of the
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: people in your life. And when you take this inventory,
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: you are going to have to act as though you
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: are God. You are a gardener with a grove, and
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: your grove is your life. The things you want to
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: bear fruit from God. Your trees. You want apples this season,
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: you want lemons, you want grapefruits, you want peaches, you
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: want pass plums. You've got to take care of your
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: orchard in order to take care of your archard. I
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: notice you've all noticed that from time to time you
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: see the gardeners outside pruning trees. They cutting them back,
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: They're clipping dead ends off. You know why, because that
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: maximizes the growth of the good in the tree. If
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: you take the dead, unnecessary branches off, the withering ends,
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: it allows for the tree to bear more fruit. So, Steve,
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: how do you take inventory of people? This is what
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: he taught me. He said, you have three kinds of
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: people in your life. He said, you have people who
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: are you with nothing but bad news. All of us
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: know them. Everybody has somebody that walks up to them
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: and every time they start talking something wrong, or every
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: time they give you a phone call, they bring you
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: bad news. And the bad news don't just be about them.
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: They bring you bad news about you. Did you hear
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: that though they were saying about you down here and
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: you just go mad. Have you ever had a person
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: that every time they came up to you, you just
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: felt dark because they just bought bad news. Those people
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: that you have in your life, you don't need them.
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: I want you to put go through your phone contacts
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: and Everybody that is no good, that never moves your
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: life forward, doesn't give you any helpful advice, doesn't help
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: you aid you in any way, has nothing but bad
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: news and want something for you. One side of friendships,
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: I want you to put a dot next to that
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: kind tax name, a black dot. The next person you
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: have in your life are called sometimey people. They the
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: fifty fifties in your life. They're cool over here as
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: long as you're doing this, but they're not cool over here.
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: You can take them here, but you can't take them there.
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: You can discuss this, but you can't bring up that.
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: You can lead them that way, but you can't show
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: them the other way. Sometimes they cool what you about stuff.
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: Sometimes they ain't. Those are called sometimy people or what
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: we're gonna call fifty fifty people. Everybody got them in
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: their life. When you have a fifty fifty person, what
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: I want you to do is put an asterid by
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: their name. That contact put in asterid, remember all the
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: bad news people that's always bringing you bad news in darkness,
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: a black dot next to their name. The next person
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: is the fifty fifty person. They sometime they here, they
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: ain't cool then put an asterisk by their name. The
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: last person that you know are people who are very
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: supportive of you, people who are willing to pray for you,
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: people who always try to be uplifting, people who when
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: they got news for you, they try to make it
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: of the positive nature. A person who comes to your
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: aid and your rescue. A person that picks up the
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: phone just to see how you're doing. And you bet
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: not mention that something's wrong, because here they come. It's
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: people in your life, man, that you don't even have
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: to talk when you're around them. You could just sit
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: and be steal and y'all just cool like that. Everybody
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: got that ride or die that I don't care what
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: you tell them. They don't pass judgment. They just your friends. Well,
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: when you have that person, and I'm gonna be real
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: honest with you, it ain't a whole lot of them.
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: I want you to put a check by their name,
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: so you got a black dot next to the dark
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: people who bring you none but bad news, negativity, something wrong.
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: Every time, you got an asterid by the name of
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: the people who are fifty fifty sometimey people, and you
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: got a check by the people that's always supported prayer
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: for bringing you good news. Now here's what you do.
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: I want you to take everybody with a black dot
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: next to their name, and everybody with an asterisk next
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: to their name, and I want you to block them
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: as your contact, block them out your phone, and block
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: them from your email. If the family, block them from
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: your phone and block them from your email. All I
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: want you to have is people who have your phone number,
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: that have a check by your name. You're gonna lose
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: a lot of people, but guess what you're gonna gain
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: a lot of ground. You don't have no idea how
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: much time you waste with people in your life who
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: are fifty fifty and always got bad news. If you
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: eliminate them, you've cleaned house. Your inventory is clean. You
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: now have cleared room to receive the blessings God have
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: for you in this year. I dare you to try it.
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: It works. It sounds cruel, it sounds like it's hurtful,
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: but man, if you want to win, you gotta do it.
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: Those are my clothes over drop it Babo for all
