- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things and its stubbings me true good to other. Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join joining me. You turn you're going. You
- 1:24Speaker 1: gotta turn to turn them out. Turn you got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out. Then turn the water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your fad uh huh, I sure will
- 2:04Speaker 1: come on. Everybody, y'all listen to the voice. Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey. Uh got
- 2:11Speaker 1: a radio show. Yep, yep sometimes saw all I can
- 2:18Speaker 1: say yelp, Man, how far I've come is really unbelievable.
- 2:23Speaker 1: But you know I finally figured it out. Man. God
- 2:28Speaker 1: allowed me to have the life I've had so that
- 2:32Speaker 1: I can become experienced at so many different things. And
- 2:37Speaker 1: then this experience when I'm talking and sharing with people,
- 2:41Speaker 1: I will be able to relate to a lot of
- 2:43Speaker 1: different circumstances. Not exact, but just the circumstances. You know.
- 2:48Speaker 1: You know, if a person comes to men, they say, man,
- 2:50Speaker 1: I've been down and out. Okay, Well I know what
- 2:52Speaker 1: that is. Man. I didn't I didn't have any direction, Okay,
- 2:56Speaker 1: got that been there, man at one point time. Man,
- 3:00Speaker 1: I just kept piling mistake on top of mistakes. Okay,
- 3:06Speaker 1: So you know, I think what I'm trying to say
- 3:09Speaker 1: to everybody is when you're going through life and life
- 3:13Speaker 1: is dealing the cards that it deals, I want you
- 3:17Speaker 1: to understand that life deals everybody these cards. The disappointment card,
- 3:23Speaker 1: the setback card, the failure card, the mishap card, the
- 3:30Speaker 1: unexpected misery card. Everybody gonna get, the grief card, everybody
- 3:37Speaker 1: gonna get, the rash of bad decision card, everybody gonna
- 3:40Speaker 1: get them. Understand that going in that everybody is gonna
- 3:47Speaker 1: get these cards. It's how you play them, though, you know,
- 3:55Speaker 1: from time to time, one more time, it's how you
- 3:57Speaker 1: play them, you know. From time to time. I'm watching TV.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I love to watch the World Series of Poker. I
- 4:04Speaker 1: like watching poker tournaments on TV because it's it's really weird.
- 4:10Speaker 1: What's happened to a sport? To a poker they're actually
- 4:14Speaker 1: trying to call it a sport, you know, And as
- 4:17Speaker 1: the everyday guy that doesn't have to be athletically inclined
- 4:20Speaker 1: to anything, who has a shot of winning a title
- 4:25Speaker 1: if they play their cards right, the best poker players
- 4:29Speaker 1: in the world don't have the best hands. They just
- 4:34Speaker 1: make the best plays. I've seen guys win a hand
- 4:39Speaker 1: with nine two in their hand as nothing and win
- 4:42Speaker 1: the hand because they knew the bluff, they knew the odds,
- 4:47Speaker 1: they calculated risks, they made the stakes higher than the
- 4:52Speaker 1: other person was willing to pay. They gave off the
- 4:55Speaker 1: illusion that they had something with an actuality. They had
- 4:59Speaker 1: nothing thing. So what I what I enjoy about poker
- 5:04Speaker 1: and watching it is that these people, these people here,
- 5:09Speaker 1: played the hand they dealt and it ain't always a
- 5:12Speaker 1: good hand. But it ain't whether your hand is good,
- 5:16Speaker 1: And it ain't whether you're gonna get dealt bad cards
- 5:18Speaker 1: or not. Because you're gonna get dealt some bad cards.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Everybody ain't gonna get two bullets in their hand. You
- 5:22Speaker 1: ain't gonna get two aces when you get dealt. Uh.
- 5:26Speaker 1: You know, when you play and draw poker, some of
- 5:28Speaker 1: your cards gonna be nothing. But you got to turn
- 5:31Speaker 1: that nothing into something. So when you get dealt these
- 5:33Speaker 1: cards in life, it ain't the fact that you're getting
- 5:36Speaker 1: keep getting them dealt. I was talking with a young
- 5:38Speaker 1: person yesterday and we were talking and we keep having
- 5:42Speaker 1: the same conversation over and over and over, and they
- 5:45Speaker 1: could not understand why they were not moving forward. But
- 5:48Speaker 1: I said, you don't understand. Every time we talk, we
- 5:51Speaker 1: have the exact same conversation. It is simply because you
- 5:56Speaker 1: keep getting your cards and you playing them the same way. See.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Until you make a conscientious different, the conscious decision to
- 6:06Speaker 1: do something different, the results will continue to be the same.
- 6:11Speaker 1: See here's the way this works. When you're dealt to
- 6:17Speaker 1: disappointments in life, it's how you handle the disappointments that
- 6:21Speaker 1: determine the outcome and who you are. Because everybody gonna
- 6:25Speaker 1: be disappointment, Everybody gonna lose a love one, everybody gonna
- 6:28Speaker 1: make a bad decision, everybody gonna end wake up one
- 6:31Speaker 1: morning they have done something they regretted. Everybody gonna get
- 6:35Speaker 1: caught at the wrong time, every everybody gonna make a mistake.
- 6:40Speaker 1: It ain't just you. That is how you play your
- 6:42Speaker 1: cards when they get dealt to you, that determine who
- 6:45Speaker 1: you are. Na, how do I play my cards better?
- 6:48Speaker 1: First of all, it's a mindset. Quit looking at everything
- 6:52Speaker 1: as just the end when it happens to you. Oh lord,
- 6:55Speaker 1: woe is me? Nah, everybody got your circumstances somewhere. It
- 7:02Speaker 1: ain't old woe is me. It's hold on, man, Okay,
- 7:05Speaker 1: let me play this out to see how God then
- 7:08Speaker 1: connected this to something else. See, as soon as a
- 7:10Speaker 1: person have a set back, what's the first thing A
- 7:12Speaker 1: lot of people do. They go straight negative. I can't
- 7:14Speaker 1: see him to get a break. I can't see them
- 7:16Speaker 1: move forward. Hold on, man, do you realize this could
- 7:19Speaker 1: be connected to something? See you got to understand, man,
- 7:24Speaker 1: that this thing is all connected. That you're not having
- 7:26Speaker 1: these mishaps and these spills and accidents and falls for
- 7:30Speaker 1: no reason. It's so you can become experienced at them.
- 7:33Speaker 1: So when he takes you to the next level, when
- 7:35Speaker 1: it happens again, you have no how and how to
- 7:38Speaker 1: handle it. If you keep throwing yourself off the cliff
- 7:41Speaker 1: every time something happened, you're just gonna be a cliff diver. Man,
- 7:45Speaker 1: Stop tripping yourself out. I was talking to this young person.
- 7:49Speaker 1: I kept saying, and you know what, they tried to
- 7:51Speaker 1: tell me. I'm trying to stay positive. But the people
- 7:54Speaker 1: around here, they're just killing that. Oh. I see. So
- 7:58Speaker 1: when you learn something that and you know something, you
- 8:01Speaker 1: don't take ownership of it. You allow other people to
- 8:05Speaker 1: come into what you know and believe and shake it
- 8:08Speaker 1: loose from you. I don't care who you are. You're
- 8:10Speaker 1: not doing me like that. Here's a deal. I have
- 8:13Speaker 1: a gift that was given to me from God. That
- 8:16Speaker 1: is the gift of comedy. That's what I've done. I've
- 8:18Speaker 1: made the bulk of my living on that skill set.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Right there. That are comedians who are supposedly friends of mine,
- 8:26Speaker 1: who I've worked with, who get around in huddles with
- 8:28Speaker 1: one another and they say, man, Steve really ain't funny.
- 8:32Speaker 1: I don't see what they'd be laughing at. He ain't
- 8:34Speaker 1: funny to me. He wasn't the funniest king to me.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Excuse me, you're irrelevant in this conversation because I regardless
- 8:42Speaker 1: as to how you feel about me. That are people
- 8:45Speaker 1: think that I'm knocked down kill over funny. But more importantly,
- 8:49Speaker 1: I own the gift that God gave to me. I
- 8:52Speaker 1: take ownership of his blessing because you don't think it so,
- 8:56Speaker 1: you ain't taking that from me. Stop letting people steal
- 8:59Speaker 1: your joy. Stop letting people take what you're supposed to know. Look,
- 9:05Speaker 1: i'm a I'm a I'm a I'm a kind person
- 9:07Speaker 1: at heart. Man, you ain't nothing now you said if
- 9:10Speaker 1: here going, Man, I guess I ain't what you're tripping for.
- 9:13Speaker 1: You are a kind person own that take ownership of it.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Stop letting things God has given you be taken away
- 9:23Speaker 1: from others. The devil's a cold player, and he got
- 9:26Speaker 1: cold players working for him, just shaking, just taking stuff
- 9:29Speaker 1: from you. You know, I'm a hard worker. I really
- 9:32Speaker 1: am intelligent. You stupid man. I thought I was a
- 9:35Speaker 1: hard worker. Man. It came in here and said I
- 9:38Speaker 1: was stupid. Man, I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
- 9:40Speaker 1: What excuse me? You're a very bright person. Hey, y'all
- 9:45Speaker 1: take ownership. When God gives you something, blesses you would
- 9:48Speaker 1: have gift a talent, a skill set, a mindset. Own it.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Don't let people come in here and take it from you. Man, Okay,
- 9:56Speaker 1: I probably shouldn't have went that. You're listening too show,
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. What maul can I say than this?
- 10:07Speaker 1: It's a great day to day. Certainly you must appreciate
- 10:10Speaker 1: the opportunity in being part of it. I know I do.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Thank you, Lord, Heavenly Father for this day. Grant me
- 10:17Speaker 1: the strength to endure it. And the vision to accept
- 10:21Speaker 1: all of its capabilities and possibility that the church say
- 10:25Speaker 1: man a man Amen again. Chully Strawberry calling for real
- 10:32Speaker 1: with all the hell mouth of the sophist in the
- 10:35Speaker 1: background for microphone is entirely too loud commercial breaks, she
- 10:40Speaker 1: talks and sounds like Sister Old Dale with a megaphone.
- 10:46Speaker 1: We are here today, gathered. A normally asked Junior what
- 10:49Speaker 1: was going on? But Junior's out this week. We don't
- 10:52Speaker 1: we don't say why he out. He just out. Yeah,
- 10:55Speaker 1: he didn't tell us, it's just out. Yeah, I too
- 11:02Speaker 1: have a question because, um, what Cheryl Lee Ralph did
- 11:07Speaker 1: last night on her Emmy acceptance speech, it kind of, um,
- 11:11Speaker 1: it kind of sparks something. Yeah Monday night. Yeah, you
- 11:15Speaker 1: know what, you talk about success and you talk about
- 11:18Speaker 1: failure and all that. I want to know from you.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Was there ever a point in your career? Uh, and
- 11:25Speaker 1: now that you've made it, looking back, did you ever
- 11:27Speaker 1: think about giving up? Was there a time when you
- 11:29Speaker 1: said forget it, I'm not ever I'm not doing this absolutely? Really, Steve, Yeah,
- 11:36Speaker 1: I've never heard really. I mean, you know, I was
- 11:41Speaker 1: just you know, I was talking to Dean Sanders about
- 11:46Speaker 1: this a long, long time ago. Everybody has a turn
- 11:52Speaker 1: back moment. Everybody in every goal you set, that's a value.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Everybody has that moment where you go forget it. It
- 12:04Speaker 1: could be simple as I forgot, ain't doing this too
- 12:08Speaker 1: much going on, I'm gonna stop this right here, or
- 12:12Speaker 1: it gets more serious. I just can't take no more.
- 12:16Speaker 1: I gotta I gotta go do something else. Oh man,
- 12:19Speaker 1: I've given it my all and I'm just not seeing it. Man. Yeah,
- 12:25Speaker 1: that's it, man, I try gave it my all. I've
- 12:28Speaker 1: had that moment, and everybody has a turnback moment. But
- 12:35Speaker 1: what you have to do when you have those days,
- 12:38Speaker 1: it's just make it to tonight. Just see it through
- 12:42Speaker 1: to tonight, go to bed and wake up again. If
- 12:47Speaker 1: God wakes you up, that is the sign that he
- 12:52Speaker 1: ain't through with you yet. Keep going. Okay. See, you
- 12:57Speaker 1: can have reached your limit, you can have reached the
- 13:02Speaker 1: end of your rope. But God has no limit, and
- 13:07Speaker 1: God has no end of rope. So we are designed
- 13:12Speaker 1: to deal with twenty four hours a day, and He
- 13:15Speaker 1: breaks those twenty four hours up in today and night.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Night is so you can recuperate and recover to face
- 13:22Speaker 1: another day. So when you have that give up moment,
- 13:25Speaker 1: if just make it to nightfall and go to bed
- 13:28Speaker 1: and wake up again, and then you'll see the dawning
- 13:31Speaker 1: of a new day as a new opportunity and even
- 13:34Speaker 1: a new mindset. That's that's a great that's great advice, Steven.
- 13:37Speaker 1: All right, thank you for that. Coming up in thirty
- 13:39Speaker 1: two minutes after the hour, we'll run that prank back
- 13:43Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve, it's on
- 13:49Speaker 1: you to run that prank back. What you got, Let's
- 13:52Speaker 1: run that prank back. This is the prank and pay
- 13:57Speaker 1: your wife neck running catch you love that part. Hello, Hello,
- 14:07Speaker 1: I wish to speak with a mister please, Hello, sir,
- 14:13Speaker 1: my name is Sebastian. I am with the Art Institute
- 14:17Speaker 1: and I wanted to give you a call about I
- 14:21Speaker 1: have a huge showing coming up where I am going
- 14:23Speaker 1: to be displaying my portfolio and all of my drawings
- 14:27Speaker 1: within it. But I have one drawing that I am
- 14:29Speaker 1: looking to display that I have not put on canvas yet,
- 14:33Speaker 1: and I'm looking to take something of essence to put
- 14:37Speaker 1: on canvas, and I want to call you about getting permission.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Well wait, hold on, DoD just to stop you right now.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I don't do that, all right, I'm not a model.
- 14:44Speaker 1: That's not my profession. So not waste your time no more.
- 14:47Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. Just no, go ahead, mister.
- 14:50Speaker 1: I don't think you understand that my showing is gonna
- 14:53Speaker 1: have some very important people there. I am, like I
- 14:56Speaker 1: said before with Art Institute, I am. I said, I
- 15:01Speaker 1: don't do that. That's not me. I mean, I hate it.
- 15:04Speaker 1: You know, would you just calling folks up you are
- 15:06Speaker 1: solicitor or something. I mean, y'all just randomly picking out
- 15:08Speaker 1: folks and trying to trying to get them the model
- 15:10Speaker 1: of man, sir, mister, No, I'm not just randomly calling
- 15:15Speaker 1: people like I actually have done research in order to
- 15:17Speaker 1: get your number. What I'm doing is I'm not calling
- 15:21Speaker 1: you as for being a model that I'm going to
- 15:24Speaker 1: portray on canvas, but you have something far more greater
- 15:28Speaker 1: visually that I would like to hold on Kansas. Now
- 15:33Speaker 1: you're married to your wife? Is at my correct the
- 15:37Speaker 1: whole whoa whoa whoa dab no for who is this seriously?
- 15:41Speaker 1: Because I can get my number, I can give my
- 15:44Speaker 1: number because you're talking about my wife and stuff. I
- 15:46Speaker 1: know my wife, my name is Sebastian. I am with
- 15:50Speaker 1: Art Institute. What I'm trying to do with capturing and
- 15:54Speaker 1: mortalize the beauty of essence on cana lives. Okay yo,
- 15:57Speaker 1: for real, though, you just can't. You don't talk my
- 16:00Speaker 1: wife all right, So I'm not I'm not calling in
- 16:04Speaker 1: a negative manner towards your wife. I want to I
- 16:07Speaker 1: want to motialize her and capture her on canvas, the
- 16:11Speaker 1: beauties that she beholds. I've seen your wife several times,
- 16:15Speaker 1: you guys reside, whoa, whoa, whoa, you see my wife?
- 16:18Speaker 1: But wait, what do you see my wife at? Why
- 16:20Speaker 1: are you? Why are you? Why are you watching my wife?
- 16:22Speaker 1: I've seen her. She shops on a one hundred and
- 16:24Speaker 1: twenty fifth street in hall Im. I've seen her so
- 16:26Speaker 1: many times there, and she holds all the beauty that
- 16:29Speaker 1: an artist would like to put on Kansas. Like I
- 16:32Speaker 1: said before, I have a huge showing in May. You're
- 16:34Speaker 1: welcome to come out as well. There's going to be
- 16:36Speaker 1: so many important people there. But I want to call
- 16:39Speaker 1: and get permission from you about painting your wife. No,
- 16:43Speaker 1: you ain't got that permission. Play well, you just can't.
- 16:45Speaker 1: You just can't go around following my wife and trying
- 16:48Speaker 1: to motalize or whatever. I just said. All right, so,
- 16:52Speaker 1: but I would like to let you know I have
- 16:54Speaker 1: taken the liberty myself. I have painted your wife's head.
- 16:58Speaker 1: What you have lost your damn mind? You can't be
- 17:02Speaker 1: just walking around here Payton folks headed. You gotta get
- 17:05Speaker 1: permission for that. What's wrong with you? If you are crazy?
- 17:08Speaker 1: You don't understand your wife holds the essence that every
- 17:12Speaker 1: artist wants. I don't care what he holds. You can't
- 17:14Speaker 1: be going around Peyton folks heads. Is wrong with you, sir.
- 17:18Speaker 1: That's the reason why I'm calling trying to get permission
- 17:21Speaker 1: from you all. Sebastian want to put your wife on
- 17:24Speaker 1: Cannavas because she holds the essence that every artist wants
- 17:27Speaker 1: to behold. She mortalized the beauty of cannon. Ohoo, whoaah,
- 17:31Speaker 1: Hold of God, Hold of God, Hold of God. You're
- 17:33Speaker 1: telling me you're walking around Polum Peyton my wife's head?
- 17:38Speaker 1: Is that? What are you doing? Dude? So too, I'm
- 17:42Speaker 1: only trying to complete my portfolio. Oh no, your portfolio here?
- 17:47Speaker 1: Listen it is If I see my wife's head anywhere,
- 17:50Speaker 1: I don't care. A new type of magazine. I don't
- 17:52Speaker 1: care where Bill or wherever. Yo, I'm gonna find your ima.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Whoop yo, Do you understand what I'm saying to you?
- 17:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna suit. Did you you understand that I don't
- 18:00Speaker 1: want to have a duel with you, sir? A duel?
- 18:03Speaker 1: Here's a duel. Who they do? What they do? In fact?
- 18:09Speaker 1: What name? It's a bashi? Who come name is? That's
- 18:13Speaker 1: a bashi? Sir. All I want to do is paint
- 18:16Speaker 1: your wife in her rawlest and purest foe. That's there's
- 18:21Speaker 1: a law and purist for me. What do you want? Seriously,
- 18:25Speaker 1: I want to paint your wife. I want to paint
- 18:29Speaker 1: her in the lude. How do you want so my No,
- 18:34Speaker 1: he's not enough. That's what you should do. Tell me
- 18:37Speaker 1: where you as you want to paint something, I'll give
- 18:39Speaker 1: you something about pay Tell me where you ask what
- 18:42Speaker 1: twenty fifth? Me? Met on twenty fifth? That's what's up?
- 18:46Speaker 1: I want to whoop your read me, meet me, paint me,
- 18:51Speaker 1: paint me? You want your mind telling about? You wanna
- 18:54Speaker 1: paint my wife in a nude? It's gonna take them brush.
- 18:56Speaker 1: She's a stick them up, your mister. She loses essence
- 19:00Speaker 1: that every person should I'll give a what she whole asked,
- 19:04Speaker 1: I'll give an ask me like that, Sir, I must
- 19:09Speaker 1: ask you, do you think that you are the only
- 19:11Speaker 1: person that has seen your wife and the new suli
- 19:14Speaker 1: that has been men before you that have seen her
- 19:16Speaker 1: in the name that for you and my wife ain't
- 19:19Speaker 1: no more? You came my wife? Is that what she's saying?
- 19:22Speaker 1: Are you calling my wife before you? I want to
- 19:25Speaker 1: paint my wife and the beauty that she bought and
- 19:28Speaker 1: on cannibis. Did you not understand? I just said, you know,
- 19:33Speaker 1: I told you meet me on the quarter of one
- 19:36Speaker 1: twenty fifth and claim power. I got one more thing,
- 19:40Speaker 1: I just say, wife saying said, nephew coming from the
- 19:45Speaker 1: Steve Harmor and Morning Show. You just got pain by

- 20:33Speaker 1: is the baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio show
- 20:37Speaker 1: in the land. Yeah, man, it's Steve Harvey in the
- 20:40Speaker 1: morning show. Baby, all right, thank you? Coming up next,
- 20:48Speaker 1: it is asked the CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey
- 20:51Speaker 1: in the building ready for your love questions. Right after this,
- 20:54Speaker 1: you're listening to the same Harvey Morning show coming up
- 20:58Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. And the entertainment news
- 21:01Speaker 1: Black Twitter has been less than kind since the Queen's death,
- 21:05Speaker 1: and D. L. Hughley spoke on it. A brothel employee
- 21:09Speaker 1: in Vegas has a special office, has a special offer
- 21:12Speaker 1: for the Las Vegas Raiders, and Kanye West says he's
- 21:16Speaker 1: done done working with companies. All right, we'll get onto
- 21:21Speaker 1: all that at the top of the hour, like I said,
- 21:23Speaker 1: But right now it is time to ask the CLO
- 21:27Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. Rosie and Kalamazoo writes that
- 21:31Speaker 1: last week, my brother in law asked me to keep
- 21:34Speaker 1: my sister's anniversary gift at my house. The lady across
- 21:38Speaker 1: the street told my sister that her husband was at
- 21:41Speaker 1: my house. My sister asked me about it, and I
- 21:44Speaker 1: told her he dropped something off. It's all a bit
- 21:47Speaker 1: confusing to her. Do I spoil the surprise and tell
- 21:50Speaker 1: her the truth? No, the whole type. Yeah, it all
- 21:56Speaker 1: come out in the wash. Oh No, it sounds a
- 21:58Speaker 1: little shaky right now, but it's all full good reason
- 22:02Speaker 1: and good for her. Good for that nose as neighbor,
- 22:05Speaker 1: that's going to no good for her for dipping in believing. Now,
- 22:10Speaker 1: you just got to let people just go on and
- 22:13Speaker 1: feel how they want to feel. Yeah, they did nothing wrong.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Just let the man surprise say what it is. That's
- 22:19Speaker 1: why we're all like telling y'all nothing now, because you
- 22:21Speaker 1: can't hold damn water when you say y'all, y'all, you
- 22:27Speaker 1: know who I'm talking to. This only show with me now, y'all.
- 22:33Speaker 1: I love Rosie though, because Rosie's not messy. I like
- 22:36Speaker 1: that she's not messy at all. She does not want
- 22:39Speaker 1: to be in any mess all right. Moving on to
- 22:43Speaker 1: Keena in shree Report, Keena says, I've been in a
- 22:46Speaker 1: relationship with a man for five years and he lives
- 22:49Speaker 1: in another state. He wants me to visit him. All
- 22:52Speaker 1: of the time, and he never makes an effort to
- 22:54Speaker 1: come spend time at my house. We would never see
- 22:57Speaker 1: each other if I wasn't putting forth the effort. Should
- 23:00Speaker 1: I stop going to visit him and see if he
- 23:02Speaker 1: steps up? Yeah? I would five years. I mean, look y'all,
- 23:08Speaker 1: come on now, ladies, let's let's let's look at this
- 23:11Speaker 1: the right way. If you have no requirements on the man,
- 23:17Speaker 1: but then he gives you nothing, you require what you're
- 23:21Speaker 1: tripping for more m I don't understand. Yeah, that's true.
- 23:29Speaker 1: You know it's a little little bitty, little Sunday School
- 23:32Speaker 1: Bible version do unto others that you would have him
- 23:34Speaker 1: do onto this little bitty stuff. It's just common courtesy. Yeah,
- 23:41Speaker 1: unless your house is raggedy. She didn't say that saying
- 23:47Speaker 1: maybe that's why you won't come up hill. She just
- 23:51Speaker 1: said he lives in another state and he won't visit her.
- 23:54Speaker 1: That's all she said. That's all she has said, nothing
- 23:57Speaker 1: to do with maybe that's why he's coming up there.
- 24:03Speaker 1: But she's driving for five years to another state to
- 24:06Speaker 1: see this man. Girl, Please all the mileage on your
- 24:12Speaker 1: car and you too, all right? Moving on next to
- 24:16Speaker 1: the last one. Steve Krinn and Yonker says, I'm fifty
- 24:19Speaker 1: five and my bow is fifty nine. He's a professor
- 24:24Speaker 1: and I'm a nurse. We text during the day because
- 24:27Speaker 1: we're both busy at work, texting at night and on weekends.
- 24:30Speaker 1: It's crazy since we just met and I'm trying to
- 24:33Speaker 1: get to know him. Is he not interested in me?
- 24:38Speaker 1: Once again, we do what you allow us to do.
- 24:45Speaker 1: If you require a phone call, text that to him, yeah,
- 24:51Speaker 1: and then wait on your phone call, right, and then
- 24:55Speaker 1: listen to me. Ladies, Men are not mind readers be
- 24:58Speaker 1: stupid when it come to that, especially when if you
- 25:01Speaker 1: want us to read Joe Mann, you want a phone
- 25:03Speaker 1: call telling nap that's all to it. Or she continued
- 25:08Speaker 1: to text and find out you're just worth a text
- 25:11Speaker 1: you're not working. Yeah, she thinks he's not interested at all.
- 25:16Speaker 1: That could be true, huh, but you could easily find
- 25:20Speaker 1: out by requiring some phone calls. And if you don't
- 25:23Speaker 1: get them, he don't care. M. Men do what I'll
- 25:29Speaker 1: tell you what. Men do what they want to do.
- 25:31Speaker 1: M Yeah, yeah, that's it for show. M Yeah, pick
- 25:39Speaker 1: up the phone. If he doesn't all right, like you say, Steve,
- 25:43Speaker 1: you've got to require it all right, Steve, this is
- 25:46Speaker 1: our last one. This is from spirit. In AUGUSTA spirit writes,
- 25:50Speaker 1: I was going through my husband's phone while he was sleep,
- 25:53Speaker 1: as usual, and I saw a text to a sister
- 25:57Speaker 1: thanking her for loaning him four hundred dollars. I talked
- 26:00Speaker 1: to his sister several times that day and she did
- 26:03Speaker 1: not mention it. Should I call her and act like
- 26:06Speaker 1: I know about it? Four hundred dollars? Yes, that's a
- 26:16Speaker 1: lot of money. Boy, boy, it's been this divorce. Are
- 26:24Speaker 1: you for real right now? But isn't the issue that
- 26:27Speaker 1: she went through his phone? We both know the issue, Carlos, right,
- 26:32Speaker 1: that's the issue. Would you come on his phone? Yeah?
- 26:36Speaker 1: And all this here sister, and I'm going through his
- 26:41Speaker 1: phone as usual? Yes? So do you go? So? Now?
- 26:46Speaker 1: So now you know he was looking for trouble. You
- 26:49Speaker 1: are now creating trouble, right, a problem where there is none,
- 26:54Speaker 1: A man ball four hundred dollars from his sister. You
- 26:57Speaker 1: talked to his sister all day, she never mentioned it.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Why would you ask stuff for four hundred? He gave
- 27:03Speaker 1: four hundred? Right? So now what rative you want to spend? Oh?
- 27:08Speaker 1: I go? I got so now you're gonna spend it
- 27:09Speaker 1: like that? So what you do with the four hundred?
- 27:12Speaker 1: Who did you spend four hundred dollars? Because it showed
- 27:14Speaker 1: wasn't me and you write it whatn't Yeah, but he
- 27:18Speaker 1: didn't put that in the phone though. Yeah, maybe it
- 27:22Speaker 1: could be for you never know what it's for. It
- 27:24Speaker 1: doesn't have to be anything. This cash is non traceable.
- 27:29Speaker 1: That are no receipts with cash. MM. Four hundred dollars
- 27:35Speaker 1: buy a lot of stuffs. So oh wait a minute, now,
- 27:41Speaker 1: so you just made it worse, husband, Well, you don't work.
- 27:45Speaker 1: If she wants to create a narrative and make up
- 27:49Speaker 1: stuff by snooping in the man's phone, then let me
- 27:52Speaker 1: help you with it. Four hundred dollars is non traceable
- 27:55Speaker 1: and you can buy a lot of stuff in Victoria's secret.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Four hundred dollars. Now that's what you wanted to find
- 27:59Speaker 1: in the man folk. Daddy is cla now going to
- 28:02Speaker 1: wreck your marriage because he bought four hundred dollars from assist.
- 28:05Speaker 1: You talked to his sister, and assistant never mentioned it
- 28:07Speaker 1: to you. Sist probably don't even like you. That's why
- 28:10Speaker 1: she gave you the four hundred Because he didn't want
- 28:11Speaker 1: to ask you for the four hundred. He bought some
- 28:14Speaker 1: cigars with it. It's what he did. Don't call her
- 28:17Speaker 1: all right, all right, thank you, Cello. I think coming
- 28:20Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, we'll have some
- 28:22Speaker 1: entertainment news for you right after this. You're listening Steve
- 28:26Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Well. Queen Elizabeth the Second passed away
- 28:31Speaker 1: on Thursday. Last Thursday at the age of ninety six.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Black Twitter wasted no time calling out her legacy. While
- 28:38Speaker 1: some chose to mourn her death, many folks decided to
- 28:41Speaker 1: address the history of the British monarchy, which included colonialism
- 28:46Speaker 1: and slavery. TMZ caught up with Dale Hugley, our friend,
- 28:51Speaker 1: and got his thoughts on the negative tweets and posts
- 28:53Speaker 1: following the death of the Queen. Take a listen. She's
- 28:59Speaker 1: obviously she didn't have anything to do with slavery. I'm
- 29:02Speaker 1: not saying that she didn't have views that were problematic.
- 29:05Speaker 1: But at the end of her life her race is
- 29:07Speaker 1: over now. Yeah, never she's done, she's gonna be judgedful, right, Yeah,
- 29:11Speaker 1: So I think that ultimately, I don't know, I don't
- 29:14Speaker 1: see how somebody could claim the whole Christian ideas and
- 29:17Speaker 1: then want to point to somebody after they gone. She's
- 29:20Speaker 1: running her race. Whatever she did or didn't do, she's
- 29:22Speaker 1: answered for now. Whatever place she's saved, saved that having
- 29:26Speaker 1: her hand, she's into that. So all I can do
- 29:28Speaker 1: is be capacity to the people that lost somebody to
- 29:30Speaker 1: their life. Well, I agree with what d L said.
- 29:34Speaker 1: I don't have much of an opinion really one way
- 29:37Speaker 1: or the other. I didn't grow up in England. I
- 29:40Speaker 1: didn't grow up in the monarchy, you know. I never No,
- 29:44Speaker 1: I never understood the whole queen thing to begin with.
- 29:48Speaker 1: And now her son Charles is the king. He just
- 29:51Speaker 1: get to be that goodness entire life. Yeah, I've seen
- 29:59Speaker 1: some monarchies work, but I'm going over here and deal
- 30:03Speaker 1: with this voting. This voting work for me unless I
- 30:06Speaker 1: could go into a place where monarchy has great family
- 30:10Speaker 1: leadership and stuff like that. But in our democracy, you know,
- 30:13Speaker 1: I mean London, UK got problems like everything else. Socism
- 30:18Speaker 1: they got, they got, they got racism, so that yeah,
- 30:27Speaker 1: I will just say this that Earl of Aldingham will
- 30:30Speaker 1: be him to straighten out all of this after the
- 30:33Speaker 1: nineteenth Yeah, and he knows all the dog secrets and
- 30:40Speaker 1: we're gonna finally know what was really going on at
- 30:43Speaker 1: Buckingham Palace with Earl of Altingham speaks after the final funeral,
- 30:49Speaker 1: the funeral law James Brown funeral stuff. Why is the
- 30:55Speaker 1: Godfather of Soul in this cover? Well because I thought
- 30:59Speaker 1: the other day, but y'all told me she died in
- 31:02Speaker 1: Scotland and that that was the part they was having
- 31:04Speaker 1: in Scotland. And yeah, other part gonna be on the nineteenth.
- 31:08Speaker 1: You know they kept James a long time. Yeah, all right,
- 31:12Speaker 1: we're moving on. Thank you heard about James. I was
- 31:18Speaker 1: actually involved in the fight. That's the way he should be.
- 31:22Speaker 1: I was his property move in the front yard though,
- 31:24Speaker 1: I was. It's sports news, well kind of kind of
- 31:29Speaker 1: sports news, sort of sports news. Sex worker in Las Vegas,
- 31:33Speaker 1: So while we're switching gears, a sex worker in Las
- 31:36Speaker 1: Vegas is offering her services to the Las Vegas Raiders
- 31:39Speaker 1: football players and staff members at a discounted rate. The
- 31:43Speaker 1: sex worker's name is Ariel Ganjaum, who works at the
- 31:48Speaker 1: Chicken Ratch brothel, and according to TMZ Sports, Ariel is
- 31:52Speaker 1: reportedly offering a fifty percent off special to the Raiders
- 31:55Speaker 1: for her special services. Throughout the twenty twenty two twenty
- 32:00Speaker 1: three football season as a quote, thank you for bringing
- 32:03Speaker 1: excitement to the city. The services that she's offering include
- 32:08Speaker 1: her name is Ariel Ganja Ganja or Ganja. Yeah. Why
- 32:15Speaker 1: why you asked? I'll go ahead, Okay who the whole
- 32:20Speaker 1: football team? Well anyway, yeah, well let me tell you
- 32:26Speaker 1: what her services will be. She's going to offer um private,
- 32:31Speaker 1: um free limo rides to the chicken ranch with a
- 32:35Speaker 1: private entrance to a bungalow for added secrecy, and she's
- 32:40Speaker 1: hoping to become These are her hope. She has dreams too, Okay, uh.
- 32:45Speaker 1: She she wants to be the official sex worker to
- 32:48Speaker 1: the Las Vegas Raiders. So to answer your question, yes, Steve,
- 32:52Speaker 1: you know prostitution is legal in some areas of Nevada,
- 32:55Speaker 1: So there you go. That's for the sad thing about
- 33:00Speaker 1: this is they're going to I'm going down there. Yeah
- 33:05Speaker 1: oh uh huh for sure exactly when you said that staff?
- 33:09Speaker 1: Uh because the football players and the staff members and
- 33:14Speaker 1: it's the rate is going to be discounted. So it's
- 33:16Speaker 1: a win win, Is that what you're saying for everybody?
- 33:19Speaker 1: But let me tell you I just left Vegas and
- 33:21Speaker 1: I saw that stadium. The rate is not they have
- 33:29Speaker 1: laid it out for the Raiders, so you knew this
- 33:31Speaker 1: was coming right. Yeah. So that's her goal to be
- 33:37Speaker 1: known as the official sex worker to the lavent Las
- 33:40Speaker 1: Vegas Raiders. So there you go. Uh. Kanye is back
- 33:43Speaker 1: in the news and an interview Steve with Bloomberg News,
- 33:47Speaker 1: Kanye said he's done working with big companies. It's time
- 33:52Speaker 1: for him to quote go at it alone. Uh. Kanye said,
- 33:56Speaker 1: It's fine. I made the company's money, The company's made
- 33:59Speaker 1: me money, created ideas that will change apparel forever. Now
- 34:03Speaker 1: it's time for ya to make the new industry. No
- 34:06Speaker 1: more companies standing in between me and the audience. Kanye
- 34:10Speaker 1: referred to the companies as his new baby mamas and said, quote,
- 34:14Speaker 1: I guess we're going to have to co parent these
- 34:16Speaker 1: three fifties, which are shoes he created with Adidas, and
- 34:20Speaker 1: that that contract ends in twenty twenty six, so they
- 34:25Speaker 1: still have that together until that year. Yeah, I'm I'm
- 34:30Speaker 1: rock my easies. Yeah yeah. And it was wrong for
- 34:35Speaker 1: them to copy him and not give him credit and
- 34:39Speaker 1: close him out of the board meetings and all of that.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Yea I'm wait see what Kanye do tomorrow. Yeah, I
- 34:51Speaker 1: don't want to really, he's a flip flopper co signed
- 34:55Speaker 1: this year. Yeah, you're on the fence right now, all right,
- 35:03Speaker 1: coming up in twenty minutes after someone's got a big
- 35:05Speaker 1: crush on you, Steve. She said it on National TV.
- 35:09Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 35:12Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, Sherry Shepherd. Congratulations to Sherry
- 35:17Speaker 1: Shepherd's love her. She debuted her new talk show on Monday,
- 35:20Speaker 1: and Candy Burriss was her very first guest. Sherry also
- 35:24Speaker 1: had a very special virtual guest. Her name is Miss
- 35:28Speaker 1: Lorene Harmon. Miss Loreen is ninety seven years old. She's
- 35:32Speaker 1: a grandmother who went viral on TikTok after she wrote
- 35:35Speaker 1: around Walmart in a motorized cart with a megaphone in
- 35:40Speaker 1: her hand, shouting that she was looking for a sugar daddy.
- 35:43Speaker 1: I heard they had a sale on sugar daddy what
- 35:47Speaker 1: she was saying. So, Loraine was one of the people
- 35:52Speaker 1: that gave Sherry a life. She gave her life. Sherry
- 35:54Speaker 1: love this and she also gave Sherry some advice on
- 35:58Speaker 1: how to have a successful talk show. Take a little bit.
- 36:00Speaker 1: I just have to ask you, because I've been asking everybody.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Do you have any advice for me? Yes? Just keep
- 36:06Speaker 1: being your lovely, funny self. It's gonna hate you, but
- 36:12Speaker 1: be sure and let's try to have more sugar. Dad
- 36:16Speaker 1: is in the audience. You know what, Loreen, I will
- 36:23Speaker 1: make that when we have our next meeting. I am
- 36:25Speaker 1: going to make sure that happens for you. So I
- 36:28Speaker 1: want to say, do you have anybody that you'd like
- 36:30Speaker 1: to see on my show? Uh? You know I have
- 36:33Speaker 1: a crush on Steve Harvey, right, So I'm like, you

- 36:44Speaker 1: likes you. She's feeling you. Steve always somebody Grandmama. You know, Lord,
- 36:55Speaker 1: I've waited all my life. You determed me into something
- 36:58Speaker 1: that I do appreciate the fact that you have done
- 37:01Speaker 1: what I asked. The timing of it, though she's just
- 37:05Speaker 1: ninety seven, surely listen to what I'm saying. I'm listening.
- 37:09Speaker 1: It's the timing of what the Lord gave me that
- 37:12Speaker 1: I'm why, Lord, why could you not have given me
- 37:19Speaker 1: this when I was there? Why are you wasting I'm
- 37:23Speaker 1: sixty five? Nah, everybody won't me ninety five? Whoa lord,
- 37:33Speaker 1: what you're gonna do about Miss Loreen's crust show. I

- 38:02Speaker 1: But she does have a crush on you. Cute she
- 38:04Speaker 1: was cute as pie. She was. And congratulations again to
- 38:08Speaker 1: Sherry Shepherd, you know, making her debut. That was a
- 38:11Speaker 1: dream of hers. It came truth always. She always wanted
- 38:14Speaker 1: her own talk show. Coming up at thirty four minutes
- 38:17Speaker 1: after the hour, we have a question for Sister Odell.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Sister Odell in the building, speaking of ninety seven year old.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 38:29Speaker 1: In a promotional video for a coffee company, eighty one
- 38:33Speaker 1: year old Martha Steward had on an apron with nothing
- 38:37Speaker 1: under it. Okay, this is while she was just holding
- 38:40Speaker 1: a simple cup of coffee. She was nude under the apron.
- 38:44Speaker 1: She was naked under there. Martha said, oh hi there,
- 38:48Speaker 1: I'm just enjoying the natural flavor of pumpkin spice from
- 38:51Speaker 1: Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, and nothing else. Literally. Okay. Martha's
- 38:57Speaker 1: one point seven million social media your followers praised her
- 39:01Speaker 1: for her creativity and for having an incredible eighty one
- 39:05Speaker 1: year old body. She used to be a model way
- 39:08Speaker 1: back in the day, and she still does look really good.
- 39:11Speaker 1: She does h she looks really good. So uh, sister
- 39:15Speaker 1: O'Dell just happens to be here today. Oh really? Uh huh?

- 39:57Speaker 1: the story about Martha Stewart, who's eighty one, and Martha
- 40:01Speaker 1: Stewart Stewart, Yeah, the white woman that went to jail,
- 40:07Speaker 1: yes man, yeah, but she has a show now with
- 40:11Speaker 1: Snoop Dogg. Yes, got out and just thriving. Uh. Yes,
- 40:16Speaker 1: most black people get out of end up going back in.
- 40:19Speaker 1: They don't do quite as well. Yeah, all right, call
- 40:23Speaker 1: it what it's rectivism. Yeah, I said, they go back
- 40:28Speaker 1: to prison, surely. Yeah, nobody said, nobody's gonna coming in
- 40:31Speaker 1: visit them. That's not what she's That's what that word
- 40:37Speaker 1: means anyway. Yeah, okay, So I wanted to ask you
- 40:42Speaker 1: since Martha Stewart is doing it, she's nude under her
- 40:44Speaker 1: apron selling, yeah, selling coffee. Uh huh, she's in a
- 40:50Speaker 1: coffee commercial. Yeah, so I guess that's a big deal. Now,
- 40:55Speaker 1: what don't you think? So what girl? Do you know
- 40:59Speaker 1: how many times I've been niked? No, I don't. Yeah,
- 41:03Speaker 1: I've been naked with coffee. I've been naked with tea.
- 41:10Speaker 1: I was naked smoking the cigars with heavy I was naked.
- 41:16Speaker 1: I was naked one time. I was Nike. Was in
- 41:19Speaker 1: a rush to get down to service one day and
- 41:22Speaker 1: I was nicking under my apron doing communion. I was
- 41:28Speaker 1: witnessing one time. One time I was naked doing missionary work,
- 41:33Speaker 1: Sister Odell, respectful, just amazing. Then as soon as the
- 41:39Speaker 1: white lady doing nash in nash all over the things. Yeah,
- 41:44Speaker 1: would you do it for a commer TV commercial? And
- 41:48Speaker 1: how much would it take for you to do it?
- 41:50Speaker 1: I mean they're paying, you know. Oh, well I've done
- 41:53Speaker 1: it for free, so yes, quite naturally, I take a chick. Yeah,
- 42:00Speaker 1: ain't that ain't what you want? Because I get to you.

- 42:08Speaker 1: for paper, like like I'm afraid to ask for what.
- 42:13Speaker 1: You know, we did a calendar one time. You know,
- 42:16Speaker 1: Martha Stewart used to be a model and we did
- 42:19Speaker 1: a calendar one time. You know. Huh it was a
- 42:23Speaker 1: Christian calendar. Oh, thank god Christian like I did. And
- 42:27Speaker 1: I was all twelve months, oh month January to December. Okay,
- 42:34Speaker 1: January I had on my Nurses Guild outfit, huge day.
- 42:39Speaker 1: I wore my rusher board outfit number one. Where's uh
- 42:43Speaker 1: except then you March I had on my missionary outfit.
- 42:50Speaker 1: And then but then it got into the summer months
- 42:53Speaker 1: that I wore less. Oh did you wear a bikini ever? Girl?
- 42:59Speaker 1: Now it's a Christian calendar. I can't let nobody to
- 43:02Speaker 1: see all this. Oh I ain't know a temptation girl
- 43:07Speaker 1: back in the day. Oh, when I was dead. Oh
- 43:09Speaker 1: you should have seen me. I handsome for you when
- 43:12Speaker 1: I was coming up. Next, it is a prank phone

- 45:22Speaker 1: the next thirty days, here, Franklin, you're gonna be um,
- 45:25Speaker 1: You're you're gonna be driving trucks in South Africa and

- 46:01Speaker 1: It's part of the job exchange. Just what it is, man, Okay,
- 46:05Speaker 1: you change y'all got going on? Man, I don't want

- 46:32Speaker 1: South Africa. What type of you on? Man? There's some
- 46:36Speaker 1: foreign exchange program y'all got going on it. I'm not
- 46:38Speaker 1: being part of this. You pulled my name out of

- 46:44Speaker 1: tell me that I'm up to be jobbing in South
- 46:47Speaker 1: of that this must be a joke, you know, No,
- 46:50Speaker 1: I don't know not so you look at this. This

- 47:26Speaker 1: a pool, and h you and about fifteen other guys
- 47:29Speaker 1: are gonna be going to different parts of the world.
- 47:32Speaker 1: What type of pool you pulled it in? You better
- 47:34Speaker 1: put me back in the shallow part. You're going to
- 47:36Speaker 1: the deep end pullers, man, Get the fun. I'm not
- 47:39Speaker 1: gonna fight South Africa. I am not gonna go Southrica.
- 47:42Speaker 1: I don't I'm not taking the malarious shots, so I
- 47:45Speaker 1: don't even gotta passport. Do you want me to go

- 47:49Speaker 1: gonna get you all the shots you need within the
- 47:50Speaker 1: next thirty days, so you'll be shut to go. I'm
- 47:54Speaker 1: not going to go around go to South Africa and
- 47:57Speaker 1: Trump will want me back in the country because of y'all.
- 48:00Speaker 1: I'll with right now. I'm not going to South Africa.
- 48:04Speaker 1: It's a job exchange, Franklin. Okay, let me give let's
- 48:08Speaker 1: type a job. So what so what we're exchange it?
- 48:11Speaker 1: You're bringing South Africans over here, and then you're bringing
- 48:14Speaker 1: me over it. Y'all. My wife is not going to
- 48:16Speaker 1: be happy about this. I'm not going my like someplace. Basically,
- 48:21Speaker 1: tell you that your salary actually doubles the six months
- 48:25Speaker 1: while you're over there. Don't try to don't try to
- 48:27Speaker 1: tell me about that South African dollars or American dollars?
- 48:31Speaker 1: What is it? What is it? Don't try that American dollars, Franklin. Franklin,
- 48:38Speaker 1: it will be American dollars. I'm not going to know
- 48:42Speaker 1: South Africa. I am not going that of fact, this
- 48:44Speaker 1: is my last day and broke y'all could come pick
- 48:47Speaker 1: up this brig and talking like because I'm not going
- 48:50Speaker 1: to South Africa. I don't care how you spell it
- 48:53Speaker 1: or you say it. I ain't going. Okay, Okay, Franklin, listen,
- 48:58Speaker 1: you're build into country come eight eight plus years, and
- 49:02Speaker 1: I just gotta tell you you are obligated. You've been
- 49:05Speaker 1: chosen out of a pool. All you have to do
- 49:07Speaker 1: is six months. You're gonna get paid double. Your family's
- 49:10Speaker 1: gonna be fine, You'll be back. I ain't obligated to
- 49:12Speaker 1: do but driving truck like I do everything day, I'm
- 49:16Speaker 1: not going. You can't tell me about being obligated. Let
- 49:19Speaker 1: me tell you what I'm obligated to you. I'm obligated
- 49:21Speaker 1: to truck. I'm fourth year and try right through your
- 49:26Speaker 1: human resources window because I ain't going to South Africa.
- 49:29Speaker 1: And I keep telling you that I told you that
- 49:31Speaker 1: since you got in the damn phone. I ain't going nowhere. Okay,
- 49:37Speaker 1: but but but but let me ask something, Frankly, you've
- 49:40Speaker 1: been here for what it's for eight some years? Man,
- 49:42Speaker 1: you don't you don't want to continue your job here
- 49:44Speaker 1: with the company. I don't give a about this job
- 49:47Speaker 1: right now, trying to send me overseas like you're setting
- 49:49Speaker 1: me up from I ain't going out of fact. Let
- 49:51Speaker 1: me turn this truck on right now. I'm coming down
- 49:54Speaker 1: and see you, mister Roses out. Okay, hold on, uh
- 49:59Speaker 1: do you know um Jermaine? Yeah, I know, Rivers. What
- 50:04Speaker 1: do you gotta do with it? Okay, let me go
- 50:07Speaker 1: and don't say this, Franklin. This right here that you're
- 50:10Speaker 1: talking to is nephew Tommy and your boy Rivers got
- 50:13Speaker 1: me the plank phone call you. You just got pranked
- 50:16Speaker 1: by your boy, Jermaine Rivers. Oh that wait till I
- 50:24Speaker 1: see Rivers. So you ain't no roads ago and I
- 50:27Speaker 1: ain't gotta go to South Africa. No, god, man, this
- 50:35Speaker 1: is nothing man. I'm just listening to hes on the road. Oh, Rivers,
- 50:40Speaker 1: you want to play a lists? I want to put
- 50:43Speaker 1: some sugar in your trunk? All right, Franklin before we leave, man,
- 50:49Speaker 1: tell me this. What is the baddest radio show in
- 50:52Speaker 1: the lands. That Steve Harvey Morning Show. Yeah, that's it.
- 51:02Speaker 1: He wasn't going over there. I got a thin after
- 51:09Speaker 1: no trus it's all good man. Well, let me do
- 51:13Speaker 1: some dates. You ready for love Fridays Friday Nights, watch
- 51:24Speaker 1: me Tommy. Tommy will be back probably by November. I've
- 51:31Speaker 1: been asked to come back, yes me and say it
- 51:35Speaker 1: was sitting on the golf course in the Bahamas and
- 51:38Speaker 1: uh huh, that's exciting. Somebody said, hey, man, will we
- 51:43Speaker 1: ever see the Kings again? And said, pointed right at me.
- 51:46Speaker 1: It's on me? Really, Oh, is it you're the hold up? Yeah?
- 51:51Speaker 1: Him and Dale still out. I didn't know it was you.
- 51:54Speaker 1: That was how I got to hold up, though, because
- 51:57Speaker 1: I gotta wait because if I do this one moment
- 51:59Speaker 1: when I go on stage, they're gonna cancel all much.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Oh can't you just control your y? You have to
- 52:06Speaker 1: get canceled. Do you know what will be a stand up? No,
- 52:10Speaker 1: I don't want to say what you want to say.
- 52:14Speaker 1: Yeah to Maten pointed comical remarks. But here's a TV show. Yeah,
- 52:22Speaker 1: you could do that. It is different than me. I'm
- 52:28Speaker 1: saying something that's gonna get me canceled. So I need
- 52:30Speaker 1: to wait till I have I don't care cancelation money.
- 52:34Speaker 1: Oh all right, all right, Well, thank you. Thank you
- 52:38Speaker 1: for that. Coming up next Strawberry Letters. Subject he needs
- 52:42Speaker 1: to pace himself with everything. We'll get into it right

- 53:11Speaker 1: it Strawberry Letter. Let's go. That's it, all right, thank you, Steve.
- 53:18Speaker 1: Subject he needs to pace himself with everything. Everything. Dear
- 53:23Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley, I'm thirty and my fiance is twenty eight
- 53:26Speaker 1: years old. We've been together two years and he proposed
- 53:29Speaker 1: three months ago. I've held out on intimacy with him
- 53:33Speaker 1: until I got a commitment, and he did not have
- 53:35Speaker 1: a problem with that. The night I got the ring,
- 53:38Speaker 1: I gave in and we had sex that night. It
- 53:41Speaker 1: was not what I expected at all. I'd seen him
- 53:45Speaker 1: naked a million times and I knew what he was
- 53:48Speaker 1: working with, but I had no idea if he knew
- 53:51Speaker 1: what to do with it. Our first time was such
- 53:54Speaker 1: a disappointment and I was left unfulfilled. We laughed about
- 53:58Speaker 1: him being excited because it was our first time. He's
- 54:02Speaker 1: quick in everything he does, though since we met, I
- 54:06Speaker 1: have teased him about eating and drinking too fast. We
- 54:08Speaker 1: cannot share appetizers because he eats one after the other
- 54:12Speaker 1: and I barely get any. If we're having wine, I
- 54:16Speaker 1: may get one glass because he drinks it like water.
- 54:19Speaker 1: I always have to encourage him to pace himself. I
- 54:23Speaker 1: shouldn't have to be surprised when this same thing happened
- 54:26Speaker 1: in the bedroom. I was brutally honest with him about
- 54:30Speaker 1: the sex because I'm about to marry this man. I
- 54:33Speaker 1: started having sex daily in hopes that he can get
- 54:36Speaker 1: used to me and learn to pace himself. His doctor
- 54:40Speaker 1: prescribed him something for mild anxiety. Now during sex, he
- 54:44Speaker 1: will mumble the entire time, or he will stop abruptly
- 54:48Speaker 1: and ask me questions about how he's doing or how
- 54:51Speaker 1: my day went. It is a total letdown every time.
- 54:55Speaker 1: His doctor says it's a temporary problem and he will
- 54:58Speaker 1: be fine once he used to me, I am afraid
- 55:02Speaker 1: this may not be fixable because it has been three months.
- 55:05Speaker 1: If he can't figure out how to pace himself sexually,
- 55:08Speaker 1: should I pace myself on getting married to him? Well,
- 55:13Speaker 1: I say yes, most definitely you should because sex is
- 55:16Speaker 1: an integral part of marriage and intimacy, and it's a
- 55:20Speaker 1: deal breaker in some instances. So if you have a
- 55:24Speaker 1: chance to get it right or to fix it in
- 55:26Speaker 1: your case, by all means, do that pace yourself when
- 55:30Speaker 1: it comes to the marriage. You don't want to cheat
- 55:32Speaker 1: or end up in divorce because of it. And I
- 55:35Speaker 1: can't express the importance of that enough. I mean, it's important.
- 55:39Speaker 1: It sounds like it's not so much about pacing though
- 55:42Speaker 1: I'm getting that, as it is about skill with him.
- 55:46Speaker 1: Skill you can teach. You just have to be patient.
- 55:49Speaker 1: You got to practice like you've been doing for the
- 55:52Speaker 1: last three months, and remember not to crush his ego.
- 55:55Speaker 1: You said you were brutally honest with him, you know,
- 55:58Speaker 1: maybe you know, come in a little softer, not so
- 56:02Speaker 1: so harsh and so brutal as you called it. I'm
- 56:06Speaker 1: assuming you really and truly love this man, otherwise you
- 56:09Speaker 1: wouldn't be marrying him. I think you want a relationship
- 56:12Speaker 1: and you want it to work right. Well, here's where
- 56:16Speaker 1: the work comes in. You know, you got to talk
- 56:18Speaker 1: about this stuff outside of the bedroom. You really got
- 56:21Speaker 1: to get to know each other and what you like.
- 56:23Speaker 1: I say, don't give up on him. If you love
- 56:25Speaker 1: him and if this is what you really want. He
- 56:27Speaker 1: can learn to pace himself, learn to eat slower and
- 56:30Speaker 1: do everything slower. He can learn these tricks. Uh. You
- 56:35Speaker 1: know this is fixable. But he's got to want to
- 56:37Speaker 1: do better too, and it sounds like he does. He
- 56:40Speaker 1: sounds like he wants to plead you. Steve, Well, I'm
- 56:43Speaker 1: gonna take a different approach here. This seems doomed. I
- 56:52Speaker 1: can fix the top half of your letter and help
- 56:57Speaker 1: go suggest on the bottom half of the letter you
- 57:00Speaker 1: gonna like so he would go, Okay, he needs to
- 57:03Speaker 1: pace himself with everything. You thirty eight been together two years,
- 57:10Speaker 1: he proposed three months ago. I've held out on intimacy
- 57:14Speaker 1: until him, until I got a commitment. He didn't have
- 57:17Speaker 1: a problem with that. The night I got the ring,
- 57:20Speaker 1: I gave in and we had sex that night. Oh oh.
- 57:27Speaker 1: Two years of anticipation, but it wasn't quite what she expected.
- 57:34Speaker 1: She'd seen him naked a million times, and she knew
- 57:38Speaker 1: what he was working with, but had no idea if
- 57:41Speaker 1: he knew what to do with him. The first time
- 57:44Speaker 1: was a huge disappointment, she said. I was left unfulfilled.
- 57:49Speaker 1: We laughed about him being excited because it was our
- 57:52Speaker 1: first time. He's quick and everything he does. So now
- 57:56Speaker 1: let me fix this part of the latter. Since we met,
- 57:59Speaker 1: I've teased him about eating and drinking too fast. We
- 58:02Speaker 1: can't share appetizers called eat one after the other, and
- 58:06Speaker 1: I barely get in it. Y'all gonna have to start
- 58:09Speaker 1: getting too appetised. A fix it? She fix it this
- 58:14Speaker 1: part I can help you with. Y'all gots to start
- 58:19Speaker 1: getting too damn appetised. If we're having wine, I may
- 58:26Speaker 1: get one glass before he drank, because he drinks it
- 58:29Speaker 1: like water. Here we go again, who bottles of wine?
- 58:35Speaker 1: Now he can sit over there and finish here as
- 58:37Speaker 1: fast as he won't, and you can keep sipping yours
- 58:40Speaker 1: like the lady you are. I've always tried to encourage
- 58:43Speaker 1: him to pace himself, and so you shouldn't have been
- 58:46Speaker 1: surprised when the same thing happened in the bedroom and
- 58:49Speaker 1: I was brutally honest with him about the sex, because
- 58:52Speaker 1: I'm about to marry this man. So what did you
- 58:55Speaker 1: say to him? Hey? Hey, well, that that's it. Ain't
- 58:59Speaker 1: excuse me, excuse me, Uncle Ben. Minute, right, that's it. Hey,
- 59:08Speaker 1: Jack in the box, Oh, this is what we've been
- 59:12Speaker 1: to do, quick drawing. That's it. Hang on, hey, speedy
- 59:21Speaker 1: goes on. What you doing? Hang onto all your reverence,
- 59:27Speaker 1: road Runner, what we're doing now. Part two of Steve's
- 59:31Speaker 1: response is coming out to twenty three minutes after today's
- 59:34Speaker 1: Strawberry letter. Subject is he needs to pace himself with everything.
- 59:38Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. It's gonna
- 59:41Speaker 1: be quick too. You're listening show, all right, Come on, Steve,
- 59:47Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject he needs to
- 59:50Speaker 1: pece he needs to pace himself with everything. She's the marriage.
- 59:55Speaker 1: She's got a proposal from this twenty eight year old guy.
- 59:57Speaker 1: She's thirty, that she's held out her into to see
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: until she got a commitment. He didn't have no problem.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: He bought a ring. After two years seeing this man
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: necking a hundred times, they finally had sex. She was
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: disappointed because his pace was incredible. He just too fast.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: But it's just the way he lives his life. He
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: eats too fast, he drinks too fast. They ordered our derbs,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: she don't hardly get any because he won. After another
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: out suggested, y'all need to start getting two or derbs. Next,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: order bottle of wine. She only get one glass. Y'all
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: got to start order two bottles of wine. Give him
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: his own damn bottle. So you're gonna be in a
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: little while when the metabolism changed. You're gonna be married
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: to a fat ass alcoholic, looked like to me because
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: he eats the other thing in front of him, and
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: he drinking everything and he leaves. You know he twentyed
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: is metabolism high right now? As soon as it slow
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: down once again, you're gonna be married to a fat
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: ass alcoholic, all right, And you've encouraged him to pace himself.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: So you should have been surprised when the same thing
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: happened in the bedroom. I was brutal, lialis with him,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: about to sex because I'm about to marry this man.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: So you call him a bunch of names, speedy, Gonzalez,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: road runner, stuff like that, how fast we're gonna do this?
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: And then what you did, was you started having sex
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: with him daily and hopes that he can get used
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: to you and learn to pace himself. Then his doctor
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: prescribed him something from mild anxiety. Now he would go
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: just what the letters about? Now doing sex? He will
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: mumble the entire time, and or he will stop abruptly
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: and ask me questions about how he's doing or how
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: my day went right. He said, it's a total letdown
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: where let me tell you what that is. When a
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: young boy can't control himself, the best thing he do
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: is try to stop, change the subject, get his mind
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: on something else. Oh, then go back. Now he's gonna
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: count the downtime as time serves. Let me give you
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: an example. So let's say, y'all been at it for
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: a strong two minutes. Two minutes, two minutes. All he
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: know he got his three okay, wow, So he just
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: started mumbling. The mumbling is he's actually making himself talk
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: about other things. Man, I got to fix my car
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: to day. I want to how a bunch of gas prices.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: He sure, it's nice. You know, it's tuesdays. All you
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: can eat down and walking. This is the stuff he's
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: doing to try to occupies Now. Then he'll stop and
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: ask you how he doing it. Now, he gonna talk
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: to you for five minutes, but he wants to count
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: that five minutes with the two minutes, and then he
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: gonna start back up. Now we had seven minutes mm,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: because he's young and he's stupid. Now, the doctors say
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: it's a temporary problem and he'll be fine once he's
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: used to me. Yeah, I'm afraid this may not be
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: fixable because it's been three months. If he can't figure
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: out how to pace himself sexually, should I pace myself
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: on getting married him? I think you should, or else
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: you're gonna have to get used to the wham bam,
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: thank you man, right, because that's all it's been to be.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Now you're readiness, Yes, you're ready for the answer. Yeah.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: Part you ain't gonna like the comedian in me that
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: I think is wrong here, all right? I think her
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: ass need to pick the pace up herself. Oh okay,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: you're taken too damn long. We ain't got all day.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: He got to go to work. You take it too long.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: You need to pick your pace up. You know you
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: we're doing the three minutes. Let's go. Hep hepapapapapap dap
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: DApp let's do it. Got no time for you all
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: this loan like you for the being here all day.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: You need to pick your pace up. Okay, maybe that's
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: the problem. See, sometimes you have to speak speak up
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: for weak men. Sometimes you have to give the inadequate
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: man a voice. Okay, that's now I'm speaking for the
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: inadequate men. I'm speaking for the men who don't have
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: a Boy, you're all this, you know all this here?
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: You you you too fast? Hey? Are you taking too long?
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: Too slow? You know? Yeah, I'm too fast. Your ass
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: is too slow. You can't please here. You ain't all
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: that your damns So they're just arguing now you know,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: just all listen you too small? Oh how about you
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: too beg how about that? See now i'm speaking for
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: the man, so to all you mean out there this mechanism, kate,
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: please a woman, ask yourself, fellas, is that your damn job? Really,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: I'm speaking for them. I'm speaking for the broken man,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: the man that don't have a voice. Here, they're here up,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: she says you too small? Tell her she too be?
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: That's all you got to fight back? Brother? Yeah, Now
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: it's a fight in the bedroom. She talked about UK
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: last catch up. All right, listen, please leave your comments
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: on Today's letter on Instagram at Steve Harvey FM and
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: check out the Stubberry Letter podcast on demand. Coming up next,
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: we'll talk about Tom Brady's return to the NFL and
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: what Gaselle has to say about it. Right after this,
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: you're listening to show Gaselle Buncheon appears to be back
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: in Hubby tom Brady's corner well a little bit. Okay,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: check this out. She showed Brady a little love on
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: Twitter before Sunday's game. She posted, let's go Tom Brady,
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Let's go Bucks, but she did not attend the season
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: opening game on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. The Bucks
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: won that, by the way. Last week, Gazelle reportedly left
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: the family compound in Tampa and went to Costa Rica
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: after Tom decided to unretire from the NFL. She was
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: not happy about that. When asked about it, Tom Brady
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: said he quote had a lot of sugar honey iced
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: tea going on. Okay, so Steve, the question to you,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: here's a question to you. Have you ever done anything
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: that Marjorie definitely didn't want you to do. She made
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: you to do it, um and gone against her wishes
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: in a major decision, you know. And then how did
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: that work out for you? Did she stop speaking to you?
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: What happened? What happened? Yeah? What happened? What happened? Yeah?
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: I probably Since we've been married, I've done two major
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: things she suggested and strongly suggested that I not do,
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: and I did them anyway. And how that worked out
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: for you? Ye, wasn't good at all. But you know,
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: she's not a rub it in your face person. But
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: it wasn't nothing for her to leave me over you know,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Zelle bounced because she got all them kids. Thought you
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: was gonna be home, We was gonna do all this.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: Then you change your mind and went to training camp.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: Well you at camp. I'm going to Costa Rica. Yeah,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: And I really don't. And I think it's cool that
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: they were looking through it, but it ain't really outbeuousness,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: you know, But I mean it's it's it's all over,
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: you know, everywhere talking about it. Because he did retire
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: and she was probably happy, you know, making future plans
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: and all of that, and then here he goes up
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: one day and decides he's going back and dangerous sports. Yeah,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: she's probably what else do you have to prove? You
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: want to worry the greatest that has ever done until
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: you need another ring, you need another Wold championship. And
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: that's how she feels. Yeah, And I'm like, he's not.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: He's got one more in him. He's got one more
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: in him. So they're both right or or I love more.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: I wanted to go back down then pick up another
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: forty million. I'm just saying, ain't like he going down
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: there for free, for free? You think it's about the money,
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: you really, you'd really do it has something to do
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: with it. He ain't going back down there are free.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: I mean, he wants to play, he loves the game.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: He misses the locker room, the camaraderie. But you're gonna
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: go and get your check now, don't you let nobody
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: tell you it ain't got nothing to do with the money.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: You add that into the equate, all right, all right,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, Thanks Steve.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: We'll have a voicemail message about relationships right after this.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: You're listening to show, all right, So, Steve, we talk
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: about relationships a lot on this show. You know that,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: And our listeners are engaged. We have a voicemail message
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: for you from a female listener in Atlanta. Okay, take
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: a listen. Hi, my name is mo I'm from Atlanta.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: And my question is you know lady asked him? Will
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: get into social media and it just seems like almost
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: every other post is about how to pop life into
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: a man, how to speak to him, how to cater
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: to him, what to do, how to be sobmissive, Like
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: there's all these tips on how to please a man,
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: but no one talks about how to please a woman,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: or how to speak life into your queen, or how
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: to protect your queen, or how to combide. And I
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: just wint on, like, what's up with the tips for
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: the ladies? You know? Like for the men? I should
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: say on how to keep women? Why? Who are always
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: about how we cater to them? The things I think
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: is so many women are engaged on social media concerned
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: about what it is with men more so than men
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: on social media wondering about what it is with women.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: First of all, we can't figure you out. That's the
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: one question. The person that could write a book on
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: this is how women are would be a millionaire. He
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: doesn't exist Secondly, I think that there is too much
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: comparison going on. And what I mean by that is,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: you know it's too much y'all talk more about them
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: than you do us. Instead of the focus to be
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: on every each individual that's on social media wanting to
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: be in a committed relationship, your focus should be on
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: you and what you want as a young lady. I'll
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: have to give. I'll let me empower you by telling
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: you this. You are the prize, you are the gift.
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: You are God's guilt. Ain't no man the prize or
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: God's guilt. We're just not. Now. We have convinced you
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: all that we are, and you all have allowed men
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: for a number of years now to act in disrespectful ways.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: And it's your response to those disrespectful ways that allow
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: the disrespectful ways to continue. A woman does not have
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: to accept bad behavior because bad behavior is prevalent. It
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: don't mean you have to take it. It don't mean
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: you have to pass yours out because everybody else is
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: passing there's out. That's not the case, man. And the
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: reason I'm gonna tell you that is we treat women
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: how you treat yourself, and we treat you how you
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: treat you. So if you're passing it out like potato chips,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: we're gonna treat it like they laid and we're gonna
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: eat more than just one. The moment you treat your special,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: it's the moment we're gonna have to be special to
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: get it. And when we get it, it's gonna be
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: special to us. But if it ain't special to you,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: we're not gonna treat it as special. So get offline
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: worried about the comparisons, and you have one comparison to
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: make how a man treats you and the treatment you
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: will accept or expect from a man. Get all social media.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Stop trying to worry about who gonna treat you. The
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: one will treat you the way you demand to be treated.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: And Steve, that's so important that you you use the
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: word comparison because the other issue about the social media
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: and comparisons. We see these beautiful women on social media
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: and we compare ourselves to them. It makes us insecure,
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: it makes us feel desperate. Well, I don't look like her,
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: so I'm not gonna get a man, and all that.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: All that place into how women feel about themselves these
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: days because of what they see on social media, and
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: you're exactly right, And it's because of these comparisons. You
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: got to get out of that business. It's like being
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: in the happy business based on what you have. If
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: you keep looking at what everybody else got, you'll never
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: be happy with where you are. But because there's somebody
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: always with more or further up the road, or contentment
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: within yourself, that's right. We hope that helps you. Mo
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: Thanks for your call. Coming up at twenty minutes after
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: the hour, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey More
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: Morning Show right after this You're listening show. So Hallie
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: Bailey's portrayal of Ariel in The Little Mermaid is spreading
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: a much needed Joseph Black girl magic to the next
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: generation of young girls. We know, especially today, that representation
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: is everything. A teaser for the live action adaptation of
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: the classic Disney animated film was released last week, featuring
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: Hallie Bailey as the iconic redheaded Mermaid, and the remake
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: is expected to be in theaters in May twenty three. Now,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: you know, we love it and we're happy for Hallie Bailey.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: But there she got a lot of backlash because people
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: didn't want to see you know, a young black woman
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: playing this role, but she handled it like the princess,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: like the queen that she is, the young queen that
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: she is. And I'm just so happy because, like I said,
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: representation is everything, Steve, everything you know, or our young girls,
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: it's imperative that this type of thing happens. I was
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: in a discussion with a white guy one time and
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: he asked me, he says, Steve, why why is it
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: that blacks feel as though they should have black dogs
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: and black gi joes and stuff? He said, I'm just curious.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: I said, because if your children have things to play
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: with that look like them, you don't think our children
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: should have things to play with that look like them.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: He said, yeah, but you know you can just play
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: with the ones that we already have. I said, so
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: could you you can play with the ones we gonna make?
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: I get tight. I'm not the good person in that
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: conversation with That's right, So congratulations again, Hallie Bailey as
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: Ariel and the Little Mermaid. We'll have more of the
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at thirty three minutes
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: after the hour, we'll play around. I would you rather
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: right after this you're listening show. It is time now
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: for would you rather, all right, Steve get ready, would
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: you rather eat everything with your fingers? Or would you
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: rather have a purade? Everything you eat be parade purade? No? No,
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: I mean with my hands. Yeah, I've been. I've been.
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: I've been at people's houses. I've eaten it. Some Muslims
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: houses and they eat with their hands. I could do that. Yeah,
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: you're not gonna do this. It's like baby food. Right.
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: I don't want no parade steak. I don't know what
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: you're doing right here, puree steak. That that ain't gonna happen.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: You're not gonna drink it? No, all right, all right,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: this this is a good one for you. Uh. Would
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: you rather always say the first thing, the first thing
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: that comes to your mind, or just never speak at all? Oh,
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: I'm just gonna get me a it is. Yeah, that's
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: not that all. That ain't gonna work for me. I'd
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: rather you go on and get it and take this
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: one in the face. It go somewhere and have to
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: deal with it. I know you're gonna have to go
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: to therapy because you asked me not to say nothing
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: at all. Yeah, on this show, you censor yourself sometimes
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: on this show. Yeah, but if I didn't have to, though,
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: be a much better show, right right? All right? Would
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: you rather your you pack your luggage? You pack luggage
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: for your mate, or would you rather your mate pack
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: for you? Which one? Oh? Hell? I rather Marge you
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: pack for you? M hmm, you pack for her? Hey, No,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: I'm not gonna get it, right well, I mean you
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: just you would just pack what you wanted her to wear. Right,
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: That's not gonna work. I don't want to wear that.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Why would you pick that for that? Because why is
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: everything here showing what I hadn't noticed? Where are my pants?
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: Why is it just tops? I'll comment, Steve, ain't no
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: panties in it? Where are my bra? All right? All right?
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: Would you moving on? Would you rather Usher in concert
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: or a Joda see concert? Which one? Usher? Concert? Or
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: Dash all day? I'm not gonna be able to sit
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: around to Joda see fans, that's my problem. Oh yeah,
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna sit around ushers people. Okay, all right, all right,
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: thank you for that. That's today's round up. Would you
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: keep flipping away from me? You're listening, all right, Steve?
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: Here we are our last break of the day. It's
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: been a good day this hump day Wednesday hump Day.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: Remember that commercial with the Campbell that used to be
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: your favorite, that used to be your favorite? You know
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: which one? Which commercial right before we get to your
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: closing is my favorite? Right now? I think it's an
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Amazon commercial where the woman talks to her daughter. Have
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: you seen that one about safe spending? She said, Mom,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: you've been reading my diary? And then the last question
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: they get to the little girl look at the mama
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: said so mom, so what is bang for your book? Yes,
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: you're they fool you because you really think they're gonna
