- 0:02Speaker 1: Look, I think if you're doing your job well, and
- 0:04Speaker 1: if you are executing on the vision and the promises
- 0:07Speaker 1: that the President made to the public who elected him
- 0:10Speaker 1: back to this office, then you should have no fear
- 0:12Speaker 1: about your job. Just do your job. That's what this
- 0:15Speaker 1: president wants to see. He wants to see people solving problems.
- 0:18Speaker 1: He wants to see the people who have the privilege
- 0:21Speaker 1: of serving the American taxpayer in the federal government, abiding
- 0:24Speaker 1: by the wishes of the American taxpayers who overwhelmingly re
- 0:27Speaker 1: elected him in this cabinet to make America great again,
- 0:32Speaker 1: or in this case, make America healthy again.
- 0:34Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Good Friday morning. So nice to have you with us
- 0:39Speaker 3: on the forty seven Morning Update. Is we lead into
- 0:42Speaker 3: a holiday weekend and we've still got big news for you.
- 0:45Speaker 3: First up, the media lied. Yeah, they straight applied to
- 0:48Speaker 3: your face. They said that Donald Trump was going to
- 0:51Speaker 3: be a disaster for our economy. Well, guess what, the
- 0:54Speaker 3: economy's booming and the statistics are so bad that even
- 0:58Speaker 3: the media can't tell you the lie anymore. I'll have
- 1:02Speaker 3: you the details on that story in just a second, also,
- 1:05Speaker 3: you know the crime wave that's happened in almost every
- 1:08Speaker 3: liberal city in America. Well, Donald Trump is fighting that
- 1:12Speaker 3: crime and the data is now showing the majority of
- 1:15Speaker 3: Americans are in favor of what Donald Trump's doing and
- 1:18Speaker 3: what's working in Washington, DC. So why are Democrats still
- 1:22Speaker 3: fighting it? We'll explain that as well. But before I
- 1:25Speaker 3: get to that, I want to talk to you about
- 1:27Speaker 3: my friends at Kirk Elliott Precious Metals. Two days ago,
- 1:31Speaker 3: I got my new order of silver. Now I'm investing
- 1:34Speaker 3: in silver right now because the pricing on it is
- 1:37Speaker 3: amazing and the upside well, it's real. I actually have
- 1:41Speaker 3: a one hundred ounce silver bar. It is actually really cool.
- 1:47Speaker 3: It's really heavy because it's one hundred ounces. But I
- 1:50Speaker 3: also know that I bought it at the right price
- 1:53Speaker 3: and I wasn't paying massive up charges on quote. Rare
- 1:56Speaker 3: are special coins and then when you go to sell them,
- 1:59Speaker 3: you take away all of your earning potential. Why do
- 2:03Speaker 3: they do it this way at Kurt Elliott Because they
- 2:05Speaker 3: have transparent pricing up front. It's very simple. You pay
- 2:10Speaker 3: eight percent when you buy, and here's what matters to
- 2:13Speaker 3: you the most, nothing when you sell. There are no
- 2:17Speaker 3: hidden fees. Ever, with Kurt Elliott Precious Metals, this is
- 2:21Speaker 3: the reason why I recommend them. It's not just about investing,
- 2:26Speaker 3: it's about making sure you get more for your money.
- 2:29Speaker 3: And that is exactly why Kurt Elliott helps people all
- 2:32Speaker 3: the time. Whether it's gold or silver, you can hold it,
- 2:36Speaker 3: be a good steward of it, you can pass it
- 2:38Speaker 3: on to future generations, and you can build wealth with it.
- 2:42Speaker 3: It's real bollyon, never gimmicks, just investment grade gold and silver,
- 2:47Speaker 3: No overpriced coins, no flashy markups. And it's a company
- 2:52Speaker 3: that I love because they are a faith driven company.
- 2:56Speaker 3: There's no pressure, just honest care. They treat every client
- 3:00Speaker 3: like family, offering honest answers up front to help you
- 3:04Speaker 3: make wise informed decisions. Now, if you're seeking a partner
- 3:08Speaker 3: when it comes to gold and silver with an eternity mindset,
- 3:13Speaker 3: visit k e PM dot com slash ben. That's k
- 3:19Speaker 3: e PM dot com slash Ben. You can also call
- 3:23Speaker 3: them seven two zero six oh five thirty nine hundred.
- 3:27Speaker 3: That's seven two zero six oh five thirty nine hundred.
- 3:32Speaker 3: So let's faithfully steward what God has given so you
- 3:35Speaker 3: can experience real peace now and for generations to come
- 3:39Speaker 3: k e PM dot com slash ben. It's a forty
- 3:42Speaker 3: seven morning update and it starts right now.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 3:46Speaker 3: The media and the Democrats. Yeah, guess what they lie
- 3:49Speaker 3: to you again? They got it wrong again. They said
- 3:52Speaker 3: that Donald Trump was going to destroy the economy, that
- 3:55Speaker 3: the big beautiful bill was going to send us into
- 3:57Speaker 3: a recession, that the president was out of control. Well,
- 4:01Speaker 3: guess what they lied to you. The US economy is
- 4:05Speaker 3: surging past expectations as spending and investments are soaring. The
- 4:13Speaker 3: US economy expanded faster than initially estimated in the spring
- 4:18Speaker 3: why Americans spent more freely and businesses stepped up investment
- 4:24Speaker 3: in their businesses. According to the revised government data, gross
- 4:29Speaker 3: domestic product rose at three point three percent annualized rate
- 4:33Speaker 3: in the second quarter. That is up from the Commerce
- 4:37Speaker 3: Department's initial three point zero percent estimate and above the
- 4:41Speaker 3: three point one percent pace that economists had forecasts. So
- 4:45Speaker 3: they beat not one, but two expectations. The acceleration followed
- 4:50Speaker 3: modest growth in the first quarter. We're being told as well.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Now the upward revision reflects household spending more on a
- 4:58Speaker 3: couple different things. Er one healthcare, two pharmaceuticals, and three
- 5:03Speaker 3: something completely different than that dining out. So what does
- 5:07Speaker 3: that mean. It means people feel comfortable and confident in
- 5:13Speaker 3: their income right now now. It also shared does something
- 5:17Speaker 3: else with businesses, small businesses, mid sized businesses, and large businesses.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Companies boosted purchases of number one equipment That tells you
- 5:27Speaker 3: they feel good about a growing business structure and intellectual property,
- 5:33Speaker 3: meaning that they're also these businesses are willing to invest
- 5:38Speaker 3: in future expensive intelligence right intellectual property. Business investment was
- 5:44Speaker 3: driven by quote stronger outlays on software, on research and development,
- 5:50Speaker 3: including things like light trucks and commercial structures. So people
- 5:55Speaker 3: are expanding. You don't do these things unless you have
- 5:58Speaker 3: confidence in an economy. We also know that the media
- 6:03Speaker 3: lied to you about Trump's trade wars and the tariffs.
- 6:07Speaker 3: All of this was happening. When they said that things
- 6:09Speaker 3: were going to be stopped, that there was going to
- 6:11Speaker 3: be a retraction in the economy because of the instability
- 6:16Speaker 3: and the insanity as they described it of Donald Trump's
- 6:19Speaker 3: trade wars. Guess what they lied to you again, In fact,
- 6:24Speaker 3: trade flows also contributed to the growth, So they just
- 6:28Speaker 3: lied with pure propaganda that was anti Trump imports, which
- 6:33Speaker 3: subtract from GDP calculations, declined after surging in the first
- 6:37Speaker 3: quarter ahead of the new tariffs on some goods. We
- 6:40Speaker 3: also know the export slip, but not enough to offset
- 6:44Speaker 3: the boom and the booze from fewer foreign goods flowing
- 6:48Speaker 3: into the country, which is exactly what Donald Trump predicted.
- 6:51Speaker 3: A key gauge by the way of underlying domestic demand
- 6:56Speaker 3: and the real final sales to private domestic per which
- 7:00Speaker 3: is an important category excludes trade inventories and government spinning
- 7:06Speaker 3: also rose, so this is like genuine private sector nothing
- 7:10Speaker 3: to do with the government. It rose at one point
- 7:13Speaker 3: nine percent rate, up from one point two percent in
- 7:16Speaker 3: the earlier estimate. So every virtual metric of what the
- 7:20Speaker 3: expectations were, the Trump administration blew them out of the water.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Now price pressures remained in check. What does that mean?
- 7:29Speaker 3: Personal consumption, expenditure and the price index the Federal Reserves
- 7:33Speaker 3: preferred inflation gauge increase at a two point zero percent
- 7:37Speaker 3: annual rate that was matching the Central Bank's target. Core prices,
- 7:42Speaker 3: which exclude violatile food and energy costs, advanced at a
- 7:47Speaker 3: two point five percent pace as well. Government spinning by
- 7:51Speaker 3: the Way was also revised. I never get to say
- 7:54Speaker 3: this lower. Let me just say that again. Government spending
- 7:59Speaker 3: was revived lower why it was driven by reduced state
- 8:03Speaker 3: and local outlays which tempered some of their well, you know,
- 8:07Speaker 3: hey spending. That is amazing. The income side, also of
- 8:12Speaker 3: national accounts, painted a similar robust picture. Real gross domestic
- 8:17Speaker 3: income climbed at a four point eight percent rate, while
- 8:22Speaker 3: corporate profits rebounded after declining in the first quarter. The
- 8:26Speaker 3: Commerce Department is scheduled by the WAY to release its
- 8:30Speaker 3: third and final estimate of second quarter GDP, along with
- 8:35Speaker 3: annual benchmark revisions to historic data, on September twenty fifth.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Now story number two.
- 8:42Speaker 3: So the DC mayor has had a major change of
- 8:47Speaker 3: her rhetoric when it comes to reversing what crime is
- 8:51Speaker 3: doing in her city. Yes, she's totally reversing course now
- 8:56Speaker 3: admitting that Donald Trump's federal crime crackdown is in fact working.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Mayor Bowser cited an eighty seven percent reduction in carjackings
- 9:07Speaker 3: during the twenty day federal law enforcement deployment. Just take
- 9:12Speaker 3: a listen to the conversation that was had on Fox
- 9:15Speaker 3: News Channel about what she said and also the data.
- 9:19Speaker 4: We greatly appreciate the surge of officers that enhance what
- 9:26Speaker 4: MPD has been able to do in this city. Well,
- 9:31Speaker 4: we know it's not working. Is a break and trust
- 9:35Speaker 4: between police and community, especially with new federal partners in
- 9:42Speaker 4: our community. We know having massed ice agents in the
- 9:47Speaker 4: community has not worked.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Okay, but let's listen to some residents here.
- 9:52Speaker 5: Navy Yard has kind of been a hot area before
- 9:56Speaker 5: all the additional security. It was a little dice yet,
- 10:00Speaker 5: especially at later times in the hour, I would see
- 10:04Speaker 5: fights break out whenever are just walking home. But now
- 10:07Speaker 5: it's a lot more quiet.
- 10:09Speaker 6: I'm welcome and I think it's a great idea. And
- 10:14Speaker 6: I have noticed that they have been cleaning some of
- 10:16Speaker 6: the graffiti off in some of the areas, like on
- 10:19Speaker 6: the highways and that kind of stuff.
- 10:22Speaker 7: What about the fallout of all this, Toh, Well, we
- 10:24Speaker 7: just had a poll come out yesterday the ap poles here,
- 10:26Speaker 7: eighty one percent of people think that crime is a
- 10:29Speaker 7: problem in major, major problem in urban areas. Trump's approval
- 10:32Speaker 7: rating on crime was fifty four percent in that poll,
- 10:34Speaker 7: and the Harvard Harris Pole was fifty one percent, his
- 10:36Speaker 7: highest rating of any of the issues that they questioned
- 10:40Speaker 7: voters about So I think what you saw from the mayor,
- 10:42Speaker 7: which she said, is a bit surprising. I think that's
- 10:44Speaker 7: her responding to her constituents. She's hearing from people who
- 10:47Speaker 7: are saying that, especially in the areas where crime is
- 10:51Speaker 7: the worst, that they feel safer, and that's that's not
- 10:54Speaker 7: a bad thing. Democrats have managed to box themselves in
- 10:57Speaker 7: on another eighty twenty issue and are trying to find
- 10:59Speaker 7: a way out, and I think the mayor has recognized that,
- 11:03Speaker 7: and she's obviously in the middle of it.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Yet again, here Democrats on the wrong side of the issue.
- 11:09Speaker 3: This is an issue where the majority of Americans say
- 11:11Speaker 3: that they want to fill safe. In fact, for decades,
- 11:15Speaker 3: Democrats have been saying this, and now what is happening. Well,
- 11:20Speaker 3: President Donald Trump says, I'm with you. I want to
- 11:22Speaker 3: drive down crime in some of our most dangerous cities.
- 11:25Speaker 3: And Democrats are angry. Why they're coming down once again
- 11:29Speaker 3: on the wrong side of an issue that affects millions
- 11:32Speaker 3: of Americans. And the question you should ask yourself is this,
- 11:35Speaker 3: Why would the leaders of high crime cities like Washington,
- 11:38Speaker 3: DC or Chicago object to the President helping to make
- 11:42Speaker 3: their streets safer. I'll tell you why they're panicked. They're
- 11:46Speaker 3: panic that Donald Trump is succeeding exposing them as inept,
- 11:51Speaker 3: as corrupt, as leaders that really just want to control cities,
- 11:55Speaker 3: even if it means they're filled with crime. For decades,
- 12:00Speaker 3: by the way, Democrats have been struggling to overcome the
- 12:04Speaker 3: accusations on the facts that they were soft on crime.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Go back to nineteen ninety four. Trying to combat that charge,
- 12:12Speaker 3: President Bill Clinton signed a law the most sweeping anti
- 12:14Speaker 3: crime bill at the time in history, and funded actually
- 12:19Speaker 3: the hiring of one hundred thousand new police officers. It
- 12:22Speaker 3: also authorized a construction of new prisons and introduced that
- 12:27Speaker 3: three strikes law mandating lengthy jail terms for repeat offenders.
- 12:31Speaker 3: Now Democrats are furious. They are furious that crime is
- 12:37Speaker 3: actually going down in DC, and they're also even more
- 12:40Speaker 3: angry that the President said this about you know, the
- 12:42Speaker 3: prospect of places like Chicago getting some extra help.
- 12:47Speaker 8: And after we do this, we'll go to another location
- 12:50Speaker 8: and we'll make it safe. Also, we're going to make
- 12:52Speaker 8: our country very safe. We're going to make our cities
- 12:55Speaker 8: very very safe. Chicago's a mess. You have an incompetent
- 12:58Speaker 8: mayor grossly incompetent, and we'll straighten that one out probably next.
- 13:02Speaker 8: That'll be our next one after this, and it won't
- 13:06Speaker 8: even be tough. And the people in Chicago, mister Vice President,
- 13:11Speaker 8: are screaming for us to come there. They're wearing red hats,
- 13:14Speaker 8: just like this one, but they're wearing red hats. African
- 13:18Speaker 8: American ladies, beautiful ladies, are saying, please, President Trump, come
- 13:22Speaker 8: to Chicago.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Please.
- 13:25Speaker 8: I did great with the black vote, as you know,
- 13:28Speaker 8: and they want something to happen. So I think Chicago
- 13:31Speaker 8: will be our next, and then we'll help with New York,
- 13:35Speaker 8: and we're going to help with and I think, really,
- 13:37Speaker 8: I think a lot of and a lot of these
- 13:39Speaker 8: people that you see on television they are, including the
- 13:42Speaker 8: people in this audience. They'll say bad things about me,
- 13:45Speaker 8: and then they'll say, thank god he's here, because half
- 13:48Speaker 8: of them got mugged and they don't want to get
- 13:50Speaker 8: mugged again. But you know, they work for a ladder,
- 13:53Speaker 8: but they work for stupid people at a radical left,
- 13:57Speaker 8: and they're made to do things and say things that
- 13:59Speaker 8: they don't want to be saying.
- 14:00Speaker 3: This goes back to the real problem. And if you
- 14:03Speaker 3: look at the present and what he's saying there, He's
- 14:06Speaker 3: absolutely right. You had Democrats that used to be in
- 14:09Speaker 3: favor of fighting crime and saving black lives. Now they're
- 14:13Speaker 3: soft on crime. Democrats' literal high water mark for cracking
- 14:17Speaker 3: down on crime was in nineteen ninety four. The party leaders,
- 14:21Speaker 3: including former President Joe Biden, are now at a point
- 14:25Speaker 3: where they apologize for being tough on crime. They literally
- 14:29Speaker 3: apologize for the nineteen ninety four crime Bill, and then
- 14:33Speaker 3: post George Floyd and that error, Democrats have adopted policies
- 14:39Speaker 3: as openly we want to defund the police. We want
- 14:42Speaker 3: to have no bail, we want to have prison reform,
- 14:44Speaker 3: we want to shut down prisons. And that's what made
- 14:47Speaker 3: our cities, or especially the cities they run liberal cities,
- 14:52Speaker 3: so dangerous because they favored criminals over their citizens. They
- 14:56Speaker 3: also did this on the issue of i legal immigration,
- 14:59Speaker 3: flooding these cities with criminals. President Trump saying, hey, I'm
- 15:05Speaker 3: gonna do this. I'm going to save people's lives. We're
- 15:07Speaker 3: going to reverse course on this. I'm gonna go wherever
- 15:11Speaker 3: I can, and if I can send troops, I'm going
- 15:14Speaker 3: to do it for one reason, to stop the violence
- 15:18Speaker 3: and to stop the killing and what a democrat say.
- 15:21Speaker 3: You're a dictator and a tyrant if you do it.
