- 0:02Speaker 1: Y'all know what time of y'all don't know, y'all back
- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit on, looking back to back down, giving them
- 0:15Speaker 1: like amazing buck things and it's not doing me true
- 0:20Speaker 1: good at Steve Hart to move together for Steve, please, Bobby,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join by join me. You doing me. You
- 0:58Speaker 1: gotta use turning them, You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn.
- 1:42Speaker 1: You haven't got to turn them out to turn the
- 1:46Speaker 1: water the water. Come come on your baby dad, uh huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I shall will or good morning everybody you're listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man, If if I
- 2:14Speaker 1: had time enough to tell the whole trip, the whole journey,
- 2:18Speaker 1: and y'all would be sitting up in there going okay
- 2:20Speaker 1: to Steve, are we gonna play the show this week?
- 2:24Speaker 1: But man, it's been a lot of amazing things has
- 2:27Speaker 1: happened to me over the years, and not all of
- 2:33Speaker 1: them good. It's been some amazingly bad things that have
- 2:37Speaker 1: happened too. But I just come on in the morning
- 2:41Speaker 1: as a reminder to everybody of the actual goodness of
- 2:46Speaker 1: God that you know, man, that these mistakes that you're making,
- 2:50Speaker 1: that these setbacks that you keep having, that these falls
- 2:54Speaker 1: that keep occurring in your life, that they all are
- 2:58Speaker 1: leading you somewhere. If you just don't ever give up.
- 3:03Speaker 1: That's the key. You can never ever give up because
- 3:06Speaker 1: you don't know how the trip has been laid out
- 3:10Speaker 1: for you. You know, if somebody had told me years
- 3:15Speaker 1: ago when I had the dream of being on TV
- 3:18Speaker 1: and then I thought about being one of one of
- 3:21Speaker 1: the best comedians I could be, you know, when I
- 3:24Speaker 1: when I started, somebody had told me everything that was
- 3:29Speaker 1: gonna have to happen in order for me to get there,
- 3:33Speaker 1: I would have changed it. I would have I would
- 3:36Speaker 1: have said, Okay, well I ain't gonna be that. How
- 3:38Speaker 1: about this? See and no one can know all of
- 3:43Speaker 1: the events of their life ahead of time. You know,
- 3:46Speaker 1: it'd be so nice, wouldn't it. You know, to prepare
- 3:48Speaker 1: for it, see it coming, be aware of the haters,
- 3:54Speaker 1: always knowing when the backstabbing moment is coming in your life,
- 3:59Speaker 1: always knowing when you're gonna get blindsided by the enemy.
- 4:02Speaker 1: We are really great to know that, wouldn't it. Well,
- 4:04Speaker 1: that's not how it works. So since no one knows
- 4:10Speaker 1: exactly the challenges and the pitfalls and the detools that's
- 4:15Speaker 1: going to be set them. It's it's it's imperative that
- 4:19Speaker 1: you just don't give up because see, knowing these things,
- 4:26Speaker 1: we as human beings by nature, would choose another route.
- 4:31Speaker 1: But it ain't the route God God for you, though.
- 4:33Speaker 1: See the route God God for you. If you if
- 4:36Speaker 1: you're trying to do the right thing, if you're doing
- 4:39Speaker 1: the best you can, if you ain't out here just
- 4:42Speaker 1: intentionally just messing over, folks, if you're using faith and
- 4:47Speaker 1: that's the belief in things that you cannot see. If
- 4:50Speaker 1: you have something on the inside of you to keep
- 4:52Speaker 1: saying there's got to be more to life than that,
- 4:55Speaker 1: then that's that's you. You, my friend, have a great chance.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Hill And if you've ever had that feeling then gave
- 5:03Speaker 1: up on it, just get it back, Just ask for
- 5:06Speaker 1: it back. Just say, hey, man, I'm getting back to
- 5:09Speaker 1: the way I used to be because there's a change
- 5:12Speaker 1: that's available in your life. But you gotta take it.
- 5:16Speaker 1: You gotta take a shot at it. Folks. There's a
- 5:18Speaker 1: chance for you to get it right, but you gotta
- 5:21Speaker 1: take a shot at it. Folks. There's a chance for
- 5:23Speaker 1: you to turn this whole thing around with God's help,
- 5:27Speaker 1: but you gotta take a shot at it. You see,
- 5:30Speaker 1: this decision is yours. The decision to lay down and
- 5:34Speaker 1: give up, that's yours. It ain't. It just got too
- 5:36Speaker 1: hard for me. Life too much, man, life hard and
- 5:39Speaker 1: too much for everybody. What I gotta get you to see?
- 5:44Speaker 1: My father used to always tell me, He says, son,
- 5:46Speaker 1: best lessons in life to burn your value and learn
- 5:49Speaker 1: the most is a boat lesson. I didn't quite understand
- 5:52Speaker 1: that being young, but I showed God it Now ain't
- 5:56Speaker 1: no lesson like a bout lesson, the one you pay for.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Those are the ones that hold to you, that stick
- 6:02Speaker 1: to you, that that that start turning you into who
- 6:06Speaker 1: you're gonna be. Those are the character builders. See, you
- 6:10Speaker 1: got to be forged to get to where you want
- 6:13Speaker 1: to go in life. So that's what the challenges and
- 6:15Speaker 1: missteps is for. That's what the failing is about. Now,
- 6:18Speaker 1: I know you don't like it. I didn't. I know
- 6:21Speaker 1: you're not comfortable with I wouldn't. I know you wish
- 6:24Speaker 1: it was over sooner than later. I always do. I
- 6:28Speaker 1: always want it to be over sooner than later, because
- 6:31Speaker 1: the later manager seems like it's so much. I gotta
- 6:34Speaker 1: go through. But let me tell you something, Man, if
- 6:38Speaker 1: you can, if you can forge your way through it
- 6:40Speaker 1: and understand that you are forged in life. I don't know.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I was on TBN one time when I was doing
- 6:48Speaker 1: one of my motivational speeches, and I began to wonder
- 6:53Speaker 1: about this experience I had. It Ford Motor Company and
- 6:57Speaker 1: my last job after the auto industry starts going down,
- 7:00Speaker 1: my last job was in the foundry and my job
- 7:04Speaker 1: was to stand at the end almost where the engines
- 7:10Speaker 1: first come out of the furnace. See, the engines are
- 7:13Speaker 1: poured into a mold's hot melted down metal whatever they
- 7:17Speaker 1: call it, lava or whatever. They poured into a mole
- 7:21Speaker 1: and it goes into this furnace that's extremely hot. And
- 7:25Speaker 1: my job was after the heat was applied to the
- 7:29Speaker 1: engine block, it would come through and it would go
- 7:33Speaker 1: through a hardening stage. But the way it was hardening,
- 7:36Speaker 1: they would cool it. Suddenly they would flush it with water.
- 7:39Speaker 1: It was just blast water on it. But the fire
- 7:43Speaker 1: and the high temperature is what made the engine block solidified.
- 7:49Speaker 1: It's because it's gotta get real hot, get melted down first.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Then it's got to get poured into a mole. Then
- 7:56Speaker 1: it's gotta be pressure hit with water and all of this,
- 8:00Speaker 1: and then it could and it's real hot. Now it's
- 8:02Speaker 1: still hot even though there's water been shutter. But when
- 8:05Speaker 1: it comes out the end of the side, there's a
- 8:07Speaker 1: lot of flashing in it, and flashing is a metal
- 8:10Speaker 1: from that din dripped through the cast molding on it,
- 8:13Speaker 1: just like flecks of extra pieces of metal. My job
- 8:18Speaker 1: was to hit this engine block in the front, which
- 8:21Speaker 1: is huge, heavy rubber mallet, knock all the flashing off
- 8:27Speaker 1: the front, and when it came around back to bam,
- 8:30Speaker 1: hit it real hard again on the backside. And that
- 8:34Speaker 1: became the core of what the car is. A car
- 8:38Speaker 1: without a great engine is nothing. It's just a pretty
- 8:41Speaker 1: looking vehicle over there. But if it can't do what
- 8:44Speaker 1: it was made to do because the engine block then cracked.
- 8:47Speaker 1: So you can have a car look real good. But
- 8:49Speaker 1: if it freezes an engine block crack your car, you
- 8:52Speaker 1: can it's over man. You gotta get a new block.
- 8:55Speaker 1: The block is the core. But in order for you
- 8:58Speaker 1: for the car to do it, it's got to do
- 9:00Speaker 1: it's got to have a strong engine in it. In
- 9:02Speaker 1: order for the engine to be strong it's got to
- 9:04Speaker 1: be forged and still come through fire, get poured in
- 9:07Speaker 1: a mole, cooled off, heated, knocked around, beat on the
- 9:12Speaker 1: front end, beat on the back end, in order for
- 9:14Speaker 1: it to be what it's gonna be. The moral of
- 9:16Speaker 1: the story, folks, is you got to get forged in
- 9:20Speaker 1: fire to be what you're gonna be. You got to
- 9:23Speaker 1: get beat up, you got to get pressure washed, you
- 9:26Speaker 1: got to have heat on you, you gotta get melted down,
- 9:29Speaker 1: you gotta get poured into a mole. That's how you
- 9:32Speaker 1: become who you are. So the tough things that you're
- 9:35Speaker 1: going through, the difficult challenges and the setback. I know
- 9:39Speaker 1: a brother who went to prison, man, And the whole
- 9:42Speaker 1: reason he ended up going to prison because he was
- 9:44Speaker 1: looking out the low window, looking out in the yard
- 9:46Speaker 1: at him working out. And then the next thing, you know, man,
- 9:49Speaker 1: this brother decided that he was gonna go out there
- 9:51Speaker 1: and work out. Well, guess what, he's one of the
- 9:55Speaker 1: top trainers in country. Today. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, man,
- 10:03Speaker 1: have your attention please today's show. I have decided to
- 10:06Speaker 1: dedicate it to dedicate to a very very special and
- 10:10Speaker 1: rare breed of people. Today's show is dedicated to pet owners,
- 10:18Speaker 1: but only pet owners who have monkeys, dogs, cats. I
- 10:27Speaker 1: ain't talking to y'all fish, Nope, nope, I ain't. Only
- 10:32Speaker 1: if you got a monkey. This show is for you.
- 10:37Speaker 1: I know nobody ever talked to y'all, but today we
- 10:40Speaker 1: decided we're talking to the people that's gotten monkeys. How
- 10:44Speaker 1: y'all doing this morning? Good morning shows? Struble, Well, I'm out.
- 10:48Speaker 1: I don't have one hasty calin for rel me neither.
- 10:52Speaker 1: What's happening. We're gonna go down, little Junior morning, I'm
- 10:57Speaker 1: back got a monkey? No, so I thought, if you Timmy, yeah,
- 11:03Speaker 1: you ain't back up from the building. No monkeys? Hey man,
- 11:07Speaker 1: Hey hey. Yesterday Tommy, the girls asked me why I
- 11:12Speaker 1: wasn't playing in your in your really great benefit golf
- 11:16Speaker 1: tournament that you do miles forgiving. And they were asking
- 11:19Speaker 1: me why I wasn't invited to the Why I didn't
- 11:21Speaker 1: play in the golf tournament. Yeah, and you know what
- 11:24Speaker 1: I told him, Well, because I wasn't invited to play
- 11:29Speaker 1: in the golf tournament. Yeah, true statement, Yeah, true statement, ladies,
- 11:35Speaker 1: and y'all thought I was lying, but he is. Today
- 11:38Speaker 1: I did not get an invitation to play in my
- 11:40Speaker 1: nephew's golf tournament. Right, And then he went around the room.
- 11:43Speaker 1: You're right, Stephen asked all of us, and we all
- 11:46Speaker 1: had to admit that none of us were invited to
- 11:48Speaker 1: your golf. Well, Junior, you didn't get invited. I had
- 11:51Speaker 1: talked to him on Friday and didn't get invited. Junior,
- 11:56Speaker 1: I knew you wasn't going. You're not invited. You you
- 12:03Speaker 1: fell off the list about damn a year ago caller.
- 12:07Speaker 1: You didn't go. No, I wasn't invited. Oh lord? So
- 12:13Speaker 1: and then Tommy, you heard that you had the big
- 12:17Speaker 1: dinner reception the day before the golf tournament out at
- 12:21Speaker 1: the shattue yea and what, I ain't never been to
- 12:25Speaker 1: the shataue y'all been to the Shaft? No? Not everybody
- 12:30Speaker 1: on the show. You guys are this is your nephew?
- 12:35Speaker 1: Oh god, surely no, I ain't never been to the Shaft.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Oh Tommy, Tommy as your friend as you has not
- 12:43Speaker 1: been to he has not come to Houston. I got
- 12:47Speaker 1: to be. Hey, Shirley, so I got to be in Houston.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Come to his house. Apparently, Uncle Steve, apparently like I
- 12:58Speaker 1: ain't got plan money to get you right, but you
- 13:02Speaker 1: can make it to Bosswana. But Houston way you'll read
- 13:08Speaker 1: Bamn gonna Bam Joe burd Last time he was in Houston,
- 13:15Speaker 1: he dropped me off in his private jet and keep going.
- 13:19Speaker 1: What that got to do with the damn golf? All right? Listen, guys,
- 13:28Speaker 1: coming up at thirty two after the hours, Steve, you'll
- 13:30Speaker 1: be interested in this. You'll be interested in this, Steve.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Eddie Murphy is now cringing about the jokes he told
- 13:39Speaker 1: in his comedy special Raw. We're gonna talk about that
- 13:42Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show Time now for
- 13:47Speaker 1: something funny or maybe not. Well, what made us laugh
- 13:52Speaker 1: back in the nineteen eighties makes Eddie Murphy Steve cringe now.
- 13:56Speaker 1: That's what he told The New York Times about it
- 13:58Speaker 1: his comedy special Raw that we all loved. Eddie says,
- 14:02Speaker 1: I was a young guy processing a broken heart, you know,
- 14:06Speaker 1: kind of an a blank Eddie explained, calling it a
- 14:11Speaker 1: bit much. Of course, the nineteen eighty seven comedy special
- 14:15Speaker 1: gross fifty million dollars in movie theaters, and a lot
- 14:19Speaker 1: of comedians, including Eddie's, early stand up was often laced
- 14:25Speaker 1: with racial gender you know, that Eddie even joked about
- 14:30Speaker 1: the AIDS epidemic, and now he calls those jokes ignorant.
- 14:34Speaker 1: He apologized for it years ago and has no plans
- 14:37Speaker 1: to revisit it in his upcoming return to stand up.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Eddie Murphy's latest film, Dolomite Is My Name, opens Friday,
- 14:44Speaker 1: and he'll host Saturday Night Live on December twenty first.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Can't wait for that, in addition to Coming to America two,
- 14:51Speaker 1: which will also feature our Cineo Hall, James, Earl Jones,
- 14:53Speaker 1: Sherry Headley, Wesley Snipes, Tracy Morgan, Leslie Jones that hits
- 14:57Speaker 1: theaters next year. So what do you think about that? Student,
- 15:01Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I understand that, man. I'm pretty
- 15:03Speaker 1: sure all of us. It was a different climate back then,
- 15:07Speaker 1: you know, Like I was saying the other day, in
- 15:09Speaker 1: nineteen eighty five, guys were doing age jokes and it
- 15:15Speaker 1: was acceptable because no one understood it back then. And
- 15:20Speaker 1: as crude as it appears now, back then, people in
- 15:23Speaker 1: the audience they were laughing. It was not as sensitive
- 15:29Speaker 1: as it is today. I don't know of a comedian
- 15:33Speaker 1: who hasn't told a joke that they are the person
- 15:37Speaker 1: they are today. Would never say a thing like that.
- 15:39Speaker 1: That's what hurt Kevin Hart with the whole Oscar thing.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Kevin says something years ago in a tweet that caused
- 15:49Speaker 1: him his dream gig of hosting the Oscars. Not. What
- 15:53Speaker 1: I do not like is when we go back to
- 15:57Speaker 1: a person's past and make them pay today for a
- 16:00Speaker 1: past mistake. That's not fair. People change, People change, They evolve, Yes,
- 16:07Speaker 1: yes they do, Yes they do. That's what life is
- 16:09Speaker 1: all about, growing and changing and becoming. I'm gonna tell
- 16:13Speaker 1: you something, man, sure, and you know, look man, that's crue.
- 16:19Speaker 1: But when a person grows up and changes, do we
- 16:23Speaker 1: forever have to hold them to their past? It seems
- 16:28Speaker 1: so nowadays, Steve. Because of the Internet, it will live
- 16:33Speaker 1: forever on the internet and you can always die. Yeah,
- 16:36Speaker 1: you can always google them and look it up and
- 16:38Speaker 1: find it, you know, and find a reason, you know,
- 16:41Speaker 1: to cancel them, to cancel their career and stuff, because
- 16:44Speaker 1: we live in that kind of cancel culture. Yeah, I don't,
- 16:48Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean full agreement of that, because
- 16:53Speaker 1: people have the right to grow up. They change. If
- 16:57Speaker 1: if you could be held at accountable for everything you
- 17:01Speaker 1: did at eighteen, who who would be working today? Oh no,
- 17:09Speaker 1: and so yeah, what what kills me? Though? We get
- 17:13Speaker 1: so self righteous with other people not realizing that because
- 17:18Speaker 1: we're not in a governorship or in politics, or in
- 17:23Speaker 1: entertainment or in sports or CEO of a corporation, that
- 17:28Speaker 1: we haven't done something that if they only knew, right,
- 17:32Speaker 1: And then it makes things like apologizing and forgiving, I mean,
- 17:39Speaker 1: what are those what are those for? For times like these?
- 17:42Speaker 1: When people make mistakes, they apologize and they move sincerely
- 17:46Speaker 1: from the heart and forgive and they move on. We
- 17:49Speaker 1: don't even give a person now the opportunity to apologize
- 17:53Speaker 1: and continue to live his life, or we we are
- 17:56Speaker 1: so unforgiving as a culture as well, you know, we
- 17:59Speaker 1: don't giving society. Yeah, we just don't do it. We
- 18:02Speaker 1: do not do that. And it's a shame, it really
- 18:05Speaker 1: really is. Yeah. Let me ask you a question though, Steve.
- 18:09Speaker 1: So you talked about the governor Ralph Northam of Virginia
- 18:13Speaker 1: with his yearbook picture. People dug up at the black face,
- 18:16Speaker 1: and then you remember last week we were talking about
- 18:18Speaker 1: the Prime Minister of Canada who you know, he wore
- 18:23Speaker 1: the black face multiple times. You remember how they kept
- 18:28Speaker 1: saying they found a picture him doing it again and again.
- 18:30Speaker 1: What about a person that does that that that kind
- 18:33Speaker 1: offends people over and over with the same thing from
- 18:37Speaker 1: the bad. Here's a deal. If you do something that
- 18:40Speaker 1: offends people and they bring it to your attention, and
- 18:44Speaker 1: you do it again, but then again alogetic right? That
- 18:49Speaker 1: that are people who've done things more than once thinking
- 18:55Speaker 1: it's funny, without really even realizing what they've done, and
- 19:01Speaker 1: you do it again or see, I'm gonna tell you man,
- 19:04Speaker 1: when you travel in a certain circle where it's acceptable
- 19:09Speaker 1: and thought of it's funny, it's no harm, no file.
- 19:13Speaker 1: We have a president that has grown up in that
- 19:17Speaker 1: world where you can call women pokerhonness, where you can
- 19:23Speaker 1: where you've never seen a person taken from a family before,
- 19:27Speaker 1: So you don't care that these Latinos get separated from
- 19:31Speaker 1: their children. You don't know what it feels like to
- 19:33Speaker 1: be a four year old and you and I system
- 19:36Speaker 1: picked up your parents and not nobody's picking you up
- 19:38Speaker 1: from schools. That's inhumane behavior towards a child. But if
- 19:44Speaker 1: you've never been in that circle and experienced it, you
- 19:47Speaker 1: don't know. It's like Donald Trump once made the statement
- 19:50Speaker 1: when they talk about they asked him and they say,
- 19:52Speaker 1: why won't you ever make housing for poor people? You
- 19:56Speaker 1: know what his response was, rich people need somewhere to
- 19:59Speaker 1: live to That was his response. Donald Trump said, rich
- 20:04Speaker 1: people need somewhere to live too. Wait a minute, this
- 20:08Speaker 1: is the guy that you all elected to govern a country,
- 20:13Speaker 1: whether masses of people are not rich, and you picked
- 20:19Speaker 1: the guy who's never been nothing but rich to govern
- 20:23Speaker 1: a world and a country of people and the predominant
- 20:27Speaker 1: people are not rich. That's that's that's crazy. What made
- 20:31Speaker 1: Obama effective was he was a greater servant, which made
- 20:35Speaker 1: him a great leader. Now all Donald Trump trying to
- 20:39Speaker 1: do is take away everything he's ever done to make
- 20:43Speaker 1: himself look like a good president. He's the worst. Yeah, yeah,
- 20:47Speaker 1: coming up, nephew, tell me he's run that prank back.
- 20:50Speaker 1: That's coming up right after this, you're listening. Coming up
- 20:56Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, Guys and Entertainment News,
- 20:59Speaker 1: ra Kelly says he wants out of jail because his
- 21:02Speaker 1: health is failing. And we'll also tell you about Yeah,
- 21:05Speaker 1: I kill my cousin. Won't out of jail. My uncle
- 21:09Speaker 1: won't at everybody. I know, my partner really won't out well,
- 21:15Speaker 1: but you won't out everybody won't at Donald won't out. Also,
- 21:22Speaker 1: Steve Stacy Dashes in the news for her domestic violence arrest.
- 21:27Speaker 1: We'll talk about that, but right now, beat somebody, yeah,
- 21:30Speaker 1: right now, Uh, nephew, Tommy is here with run that frank. Yeah,
- 21:37Speaker 1: allegedly allegedly allegedly somebody her husband. What you know? That's
- 21:44Speaker 1: you know, that's big now what what? But it's more
- 21:48Speaker 1: to the story. It's a it's a serious part to
- 21:51Speaker 1: the story as well. Okay, well her defense joke, I'm
- 21:56Speaker 1: doing them. You going to information you got based on
- 22:00Speaker 1: just the initial line you said, Staci dash is in
- 22:04Speaker 1: for domestic violence. I'm thanking Staci Dashing. People ask now

- 28:53Speaker 1: You know what you missed while you were at your

- 29:04Speaker 1: h oh, he was doing you all right, coming out
- 29:14Speaker 1: at the top of the hour entertainment news and national news.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening morning show all right, time
- 29:24Speaker 1: for entertainment news. Guys, um, let me do this right here.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Do you know Tommy, how bad Jay was talking about
- 29:30Speaker 1: you yesterday? Yeah? Yeah, we just told you earlier what
- 29:35Speaker 1: he was doing. Yeah, boy, he was doing. You said,
- 29:38Speaker 1: ha ha, Did I do it? He said, no, what's
- 29:42Speaker 1: the matter. Tommy came here? He said, chat, he said, slowly,
- 29:51Speaker 1: chat chat. Yeah. He gave Junior a run for his money.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Let's just say, okay, okay, okay, Tommy, President, he's going
- 30:02Speaker 1: to be impeached president. All right, let's gets you some
- 30:08Speaker 1: entertainment news. R Kelly says he wants out of jail.
- 30:12Speaker 1: He says he wants out because his health is failing. Guys,
- 30:15Speaker 1: Art is back uh in court. He's going back to
- 30:18Speaker 1: court for a second try at getting out, pending his
- 30:21Speaker 1: various trials, claiming his health has been compromised. Behind bars.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Who in there don't won't act though exactly His lawyers
- 30:30Speaker 1: just filed a new legal duck obtained by TMZ, in
- 30:35Speaker 1: which they outline his various medical issues, including numbness in
- 30:39Speaker 1: one of his hands, anxiety, and an untreated hernia. Ours
- 30:44Speaker 1: lawyer Steve Greenberg claims that Robert is not receiving adequate
- 30:50Speaker 1: medical treatment in jail and calls the conditions of his
- 30:53Speaker 1: confinement stifling. Yeah. I believe that. I believe what he's
- 30:57Speaker 1: saying is truth. But let me share a couple Okay,
- 31:00Speaker 1: go down the list of his symptoms again. Oh, his hand, um,
- 31:05Speaker 1: numbness in his hand. I've been to jail in one
- 31:08Speaker 1: of his hands. I've been to jail. My hand was
- 31:09Speaker 1: no because I was sitting on it all night. Okay,
- 31:12Speaker 1: what's happened to me? Makes symptom and anxiety? Anxiety? Everybody
- 31:17Speaker 1: in jail is got anxiety. Yeah, it's called jail. Everybody
- 31:22Speaker 1: everybody in that chili. Yeah, everybody in that guy anxiety
- 31:27Speaker 1: and an untreated hernia. What are you gonna do about that? Hell? Yeah,
- 31:31Speaker 1: everybody got her. I'm straining my ass off in it
- 31:34Speaker 1: because I stayed in there for a weekend. And let
- 31:37Speaker 1: me tell you something, I gotta hurn it because I
- 31:39Speaker 1: got constipated because I didn't go to the bathroom because
- 31:41Speaker 1: it's over there in the corner, and I wasn't pulling
- 31:43Speaker 1: my pants down in that corner because I was young.
- 31:46Speaker 1: So I had a hernia when I got out and
- 31:50Speaker 1: went home. I got my horney at the house. Yeah. Yeah,
- 31:54Speaker 1: trying to go to the bathroom. You constipated. You're gonna
- 31:57Speaker 1: get a horney if you really constipated. So and not
- 32:01Speaker 1: to say all that and understand where all coming well,
- 32:06Speaker 1: and uh, you know, he also you know, he lives
- 32:08Speaker 1: with these two girlfriends, but only one of them is
- 32:12Speaker 1: allowed to be on his visiting list, and after ninety
- 32:14Speaker 1: days he's required to switch. Now, he did confirm to
- 32:18Speaker 1: TMZ the woman who is currently on the list is
- 32:20Speaker 1: as Reel Clary, so Joscelyn Savage has to wait it
- 32:24Speaker 1: out before she can visit him. Just in the car
- 32:28Speaker 1: out saying he asked about that, I don't really know
- 32:37Speaker 1: nothing about, just like I just found out a couple
- 32:42Speaker 1: weeks ago he was in jail. I didn't even know it.
- 32:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna quickly get into the Stacy dash story, Steve
- 32:47Speaker 1: before we run out of time. She was arrested for
- 32:49Speaker 1: domestic violence in Florida over the weekend, according to TMZ. Again,
- 32:54Speaker 1: law enforcement sources say that Stacy allegedly punched and slapped
- 32:57Speaker 1: her husband, attorney Jeffrey Marty, and they saw scratches on
- 33:01Speaker 1: his left arm. Stacy told a nine one one operator
- 33:04Speaker 1: that she had been assaulted by her husband. She claims
- 33:07Speaker 1: the husband's fifteen year old daughter got in her face
- 33:09Speaker 1: and that started the whole situation. The couple has been
- 33:12Speaker 1: married for a year. This is Stacy old as example
- 33:18Speaker 1: out of fifteen year old. All right, Yeah, but she
- 33:22Speaker 1: says she was defending herself. Yeah, she was defending that's
- 33:25Speaker 1: all of us. Do not us how you know every
- 33:27Speaker 1: fight I've been in, I've been defending muscle. All right,
- 33:29Speaker 1: let's move on to see it. Let's get to our headlines, gentlemen,
- 33:34Speaker 1: mis a hntrel Okay, goodness, this is a trip for
- 33:38Speaker 1: the news, everybody. The official impeachment and career began in
- 33:42Speaker 1: earnest yesterday on Capitol Hill. The House Intelligence Committee sent
- 33:45Speaker 1: a subpoena to President of Trump's personal lawyer, former New
- 33:48Speaker 1: York City Mayor Giuliani for documents related to the investigation.
- 33:52Speaker 1: And yesterday's action comes after three committee chairs consulted with
- 33:55Speaker 1: each other, then sent a letter giving Giuliani until October
- 33:59Speaker 1: fifteenth to turn over stuff. Materials which they say are
- 34:02Speaker 1: about the quote extent to which President Trump jeopardized national
- 34:05Speaker 1: security by pressuring Ukrainian officials to interfere with our twenty
- 34:09Speaker 1: twenty election. By the way, the New York Times now
- 34:12Speaker 1: reports that Donald Trump asked Australia's Prime Minister Scott Morrison
- 34:17Speaker 1: to help discredit the Mueller investigation. It's a Trump's alleged
- 34:22Speaker 1: that was about Trump's alleged collusion, if you remember, with
- 34:25Speaker 1: the Russians to sway votes in his favor during the
- 34:27Speaker 1: last presidential election at the time, says that he tried
- 34:29Speaker 1: to get Australia's Prime minister to kind of discredit that investigation.
- 34:34Speaker 1: In Dallas, both sides have rested their cases in the trial.
- 34:37Speaker 1: The former female police officer charged with essentially breaking into
- 34:40Speaker 1: her upstairs neighbor's apartment and shooting him to death. Amber Geiger,
- 34:44Speaker 1: who's white, claimed she was too tired to realize that
- 34:47Speaker 1: she'd entered her upstairs a black neighbor's apartment when she
- 34:51Speaker 1: murdered him. Her lawyers are insisting that she was standing
- 34:54Speaker 1: her own ground. The prosecutors stay, that's ridiculous since it
- 34:57Speaker 1: wasn't her apartment, but the judge has allowed that argument
- 35:00Speaker 1: to go. It has not been reported whether amber Gager
- 35:03Speaker 1: was ever given or breathalyzed the test by the way,
- 35:05Speaker 1: by her colleagues that night, but she has since been
- 35:07Speaker 1: fired from the force given a job teaching people how
- 35:10Speaker 1: to avoid dangerous situations. The prosecutors summed up her story
- 35:14Speaker 1: by saying Geiger was caught in a lie during her testimony,
- 35:17Speaker 1: and the prosecutor says, quote, most of what she said
- 35:19Speaker 1: was garbage. Now law in California that mandate said college
- 35:23Speaker 1: athletes get paid the bills, called a fair Play to
- 35:25Speaker 1: Pay Act. It was signed into law yesterday by Governor
- 35:27Speaker 1: Gavin Newsom, who says college plays will now have the
- 35:30Speaker 1: right to make money off their names, image and likenesses
- 35:32Speaker 1: going to change college sports for the better by having
- 35:36Speaker 1: now the interests finally of the athletes on par with
- 35:40Speaker 1: the interests of the institution. Sad news Internationally renowned opera
- 35:45Speaker 1: singer Jesse Norman has died at age seventy four. Norman
- 35:49Speaker 1: was born in the segregated South in September of nineteen
- 35:51Speaker 1: forty five and broke several color and other barriers, like
- 35:55Speaker 1: becoming the youngest person to ever receive a Kennedy Center honor.
- 35:58Speaker 1: She was nominated for fifteen Grammy, she won four, and
- 36:01Speaker 1: she was on it with a Lifetime Achieving Award Grammy.
- 36:04Speaker 1: In two thousand and six. Jesse Norman was seventy four
- 36:12Speaker 1: and finally on the lighter side Today International African diash
- 36:16Speaker 1: for a day. Recognize, Recognize. Now back to the Steve

- 37:13Speaker 1: Amber Geiger's murder trial, Assistant District Attorney Jason Fine said
- 37:17Speaker 1: in closing arguments on yesterday that Geiger was an intruder
- 37:21Speaker 1: in both of John's home. This case is about accountability
- 37:25Speaker 1: for unreasonable decisions. The prosecution told the jury, you sixteen
- 37:30Speaker 1: are the voice of the community. This cannot be allowed.
- 37:34Speaker 1: It cannot be acceptable. Not here in Dalite. Well the
- 37:38Speaker 1: jury sixteen, yeah, yeah, are the voice of the community. Yeah.
- 37:43Speaker 1: I thought it was twelve two. Yeah, But he said
- 37:46Speaker 1: six sixteen. That's what he said. Yeah, And that's according
- 37:49Speaker 1: to CBS News and anyway. So he said, you sixteen
- 37:53Speaker 1: are the voice of the community. This cannot be allowed.
- 37:56Speaker 1: It cannot be acceptable. Not here in Dallas, not here
- 37:58Speaker 1: in Texas, not anywhere. However, Geiger's attorney, Toby Shook urged
- 38:04Speaker 1: jurors not to base their decision on emotion. He says,
- 38:07Speaker 1: you can't say I feel so horrible for both of Jean.
- 38:11Speaker 1: I am going to make something happen. You can't use
- 38:13Speaker 1: emotion when making your decision. The judge also rule the
- 38:17Speaker 1: jury can consider the castle doctrine during deliberations. Now, the
- 38:22Speaker 1: castle doctrine is similar to the standard ground law. It
- 38:25Speaker 1: allows a person to use or using force, even deadly force,
- 38:29Speaker 1: in the protection of a home, vehicle, or other property,
- 38:31Speaker 1: if someone attempts to forcibly enter or remove an individual
- 38:35Speaker 1: from the premises. Now, that's not what happened here. The
- 38:38Speaker 1: prosecution also reminded jurors that Geiger could see both of
- 38:42Speaker 1: Jean after opening his door, and Geiger wore a police
- 38:45Speaker 1: uniform belt with tools on it. But she chose to
- 38:49Speaker 1: use the most lethal weapon, a gun and shoot him
- 38:53Speaker 1: dead in his heart while he got a bowl of
- 38:56Speaker 1: ice cream, sitting down with a bowl of ice cream. Yeah,
- 39:00Speaker 1: she's going to get off, thought I'm about that seems
- 39:05Speaker 1: to be the sentiment. Yeah, I'm really really concerned about this. Yeah,
- 39:10Speaker 1: I've seen acts of racism in this country many times before.
- 39:17Speaker 1: I'm really really concerned about this. I mean it's a
- 39:21Speaker 1: case to be concerned, you know, to to have concern
- 39:24Speaker 1: about even though he says, don't use your emotions, you
- 39:28Speaker 1: know what, he just wants them to look at the facts. Okay,
- 39:32Speaker 1: that's what her attorney, Yeah, her attorney. Yet, if we
- 39:36Speaker 1: look at the facts, yeah, you walked into manhouse, and
- 39:40Speaker 1: it's just not enough to me to say I thought
- 39:44Speaker 1: it was my apartment. That's I don't buy that argument.
- 39:47Speaker 1: You killed the person for no reason. Yeah, it's no reason.
- 39:51Speaker 1: He wasn't committing a crime, he wasn't in the act
- 39:54Speaker 1: of anything, he didn't have a weapon. Oh, you killed
- 39:57Speaker 1: him for no reason, sitting on a couch eating ice cream.
- 40:01Speaker 1: You shot me? All right, all right, we gotta get
- 40:05Speaker 1: out of here. If you want to comment on the story,
- 40:07Speaker 1: go to Steve Harvey FM on Instagram or Facebook. Now
- 40:10Speaker 1: coming up at thirty four after iced Tea is defending
- 40:13Speaker 1: his wife for breastfeeding. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 40:16Speaker 1: You're listening to well and trending parenting news. We'll call
- 40:23Speaker 1: this um iced Tea's wife Coco. Steve, you know Coco,
- 40:27Speaker 1: We all know Coco. Yes, yeah, unapologetically now takes pride
- 40:32Speaker 1: in sharing with the world that she still breastfeeds her
- 40:35Speaker 1: almost four year old daughter, Chanel. Coco shared a picture
- 40:39Speaker 1: on Instagram that it's a mother calling to fulfill certain
- 40:43Speaker 1: responsibilities and that includes nursing. A lot of people have
- 40:48Speaker 1: disagreeing opinions about breastfeeding, and almost four year old Iced
- 40:51Speaker 1: Tea responded and defended his wife. Take a listen, please
- 40:56Speaker 1: problem overload. I make it like the baby only eats breastfeeds.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Kid does every once in a while. You know what
- 41:05Speaker 1: I'm saying. She wants to get close to her mom.
- 41:07Speaker 1: That's what they do. I'm saying. She eats food. She chats,
- 41:14Speaker 1: said she eats cheese. Iced Tea. Yeah that was Iced
- 41:20Speaker 1: Tea defending cocoa breastfeeding her four year old baby. That's
- 41:25Speaker 1: what they're for. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what they are.
- 41:29Speaker 1: We are, Yeah, that's why we have right now? Is
- 41:32Speaker 1: it publicly and a public needs? Well, I mean she
- 41:36Speaker 1: put out a picture on Instagram, so she made it
- 41:39Speaker 1: on the plane. Yeah, yeah, she was on a private plane.
- 41:42Speaker 1: But she shared the picture on Instagram. Yeah, she was
- 41:45Speaker 1: on a private plane. But I didn't do that. You
- 41:49Speaker 1: can if you put the blanket over you or not,
- 41:59Speaker 1: a goste got that seat that's facing child, mons natural
- 42:06Speaker 1: thing in the world. Guys. Well no, no, no, here's
- 42:10Speaker 1: a deal. Yeah no, all jokes aside. I don't care
- 42:15Speaker 1: what a woman do what they child. It ain't your baby.
- 42:20Speaker 1: You do it the way you want to do it.
- 42:22Speaker 1: And see it. I was in O'Hair this woman was
- 42:27Speaker 1: breastfeeding her baby and he could walk and talk and
- 42:31Speaker 1: she was breastfeeding her baby out not covered up. I
- 42:34Speaker 1: saw her entire breath everything. Well did you see that
- 42:38Speaker 1: All Time magazine? Yeah, I remember that when they had
- 42:41Speaker 1: that woman and that little boy was standing there he
- 42:43Speaker 1: was like eight. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I remember that man.
- 42:46Speaker 1: He was just standing there looking at the camera, just
- 42:49Speaker 1: just knowing. Yeah. I I didn't know how to I mean,
- 42:58Speaker 1: you didn't know how to feel. You feel something, you
- 43:02Speaker 1: feel some kind of way about it. You do, but
- 43:05Speaker 1: we're in the society, we're just not you know, it's
- 43:09Speaker 1: not something that we're doing. Listen, if iced Tea and Coco.
- 43:13Speaker 1: He was with the other boy when he was four
- 43:21Speaker 1: huh dollar boy with that short gene was then for
- 43:29Speaker 1: that was I mean, he wasn't leaning up or nothing.
- 43:31Speaker 1: They were standing there. He just turned and went in level. Yes. Well,
- 43:41Speaker 1: let me tell you what. Here's what I think just
- 43:43Speaker 1: a couple of the ways I think that when you
- 43:46Speaker 1: you're taking the breastfeeding too for okay, this is just
- 43:49Speaker 1: a couple of things. If when the baby gets through,
- 43:53Speaker 1: they take a napkin and pat their mouths track, I
- 43:57Speaker 1: think I think that right there is time for this
- 44:00Speaker 1: to stop right here. Yeah. If if baby can stand
- 44:05Speaker 1: that and unbutton your blyth and then button it back
- 44:09Speaker 1: up when he threw, I think we might be at
- 44:12Speaker 1: the point where enough is enough. But if the baby
- 44:20Speaker 1: can turn around and go to hair, y'all look at that,
- 44:22Speaker 1: I think that that could be a cut off a point,
- 44:28Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying. That sense. Yeah, say, man, now,
- 44:33Speaker 1: if the baby is talking to the husband and you
- 44:37Speaker 1: hear something like say, man, get your own mama, I
- 44:41Speaker 1: think we might think it's probably time, but it is,
- 44:46Speaker 1: say man, get your own mama. Do you agree with
- 44:49Speaker 1: iced tea? It is a great way to bond for
- 44:51Speaker 1: mother and baby to have that closeness, and that for
- 44:55Speaker 1: us as men, we really don't know what that is
- 44:57Speaker 1: because I know, you know, my grandson came out in
- 45:01Speaker 1: the backyard today. I was just talking to me and
- 45:03Speaker 1: I ain't gonna talk less walked off from Yeah, all right,
- 45:08Speaker 1: look coming up next, nephew in the building. With today's
- 45:10Speaker 1: prying phone call right after this, you're listening show coming

- 54:40Speaker 1: I'm in too deep with this guy. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 54:43Speaker 1: I've been seeing a guy for eight months now, and
- 54:45Speaker 1: our relationship is strictly sexual. When we first met, he
- 54:50Speaker 1: told me that he has a girlfriend and that he
- 54:53Speaker 1: lives in another state, that he had no plans to
- 54:56Speaker 1: break up with her. But she's still, but she can't
- 54:59Speaker 1: fulfill his needs when she's so far away. When we
- 55:02Speaker 1: first met at a club, and I would run into
- 55:04Speaker 1: him at local parties, so we were bound to hook
- 55:07Speaker 1: up sooner or later. We have sex often, and it's
- 55:11Speaker 1: really good sex. I am the one who satisfies his
- 55:14Speaker 1: sexual needs and desires while his girlfriend is away. I
- 55:18Speaker 1: have a problem, though, when his girlfriend is in town.
- 55:20Speaker 1: I often run into my guy and his girlfriend in
- 55:25Speaker 1: the club or at parties. I have to see him
- 55:28Speaker 1: all up on her, dancing seductively and giving her public
- 55:32Speaker 1: displays of affection right in front of me. It's becoming
- 55:35Speaker 1: a real problem for me, and I have realized that
- 55:39Speaker 1: I'm catching feelings for this guy. I have started to
- 55:43Speaker 1: question myself because his girlfriend is pretty and she's a
- 55:46Speaker 1: great body, but so do I. I am also very
- 55:49Speaker 1: well educated, and I could easily be any man's prize possession.
- 55:54Speaker 1: I recently turned forty, and I feel like it's time
- 55:56Speaker 1: for me to stop playing gangs and get what I deserve.
- 55:59Speaker 1: I feel like I deserve this guy, and I no
- 56:02Speaker 1: longer to desire to be his side chick. I have
- 56:05Speaker 1: been hinting at it, and he tells me that I
- 56:07Speaker 1: am a great woman and any man would be lucky
- 56:09Speaker 1: to have me. So should I tell him that I
- 56:11Speaker 1: want to be with him and give him an ultimatum?
- 56:14Speaker 1: Or do you think he would just discard me and
- 56:17Speaker 1: get another side chick? Yeah, everything you said in your
- 56:21Speaker 1: letter is true, so you already know the answer. I mean,
- 56:24Speaker 1: even before you wrote in Yeah, he'll probably just discard
- 56:27Speaker 1: you and get someone else, because the girlfriend that he
- 56:30Speaker 1: has that lives out of town is obviously who he wants.
- 56:33Speaker 1: But you signed up for this. You signed up for
- 56:36Speaker 1: this in your second line. This relationship is strictly sexual.
- 56:40Speaker 1: You said it. You said we were bound to hook
- 56:44Speaker 1: up sooner or later. We were bound to hook up
- 56:46Speaker 1: sooner or later. Really, I mean you said you have
- 56:50Speaker 1: sex often, it's really good sex. You're the one who
- 56:53Speaker 1: satisfies him. Yeah, you're doing all the work. But he
- 56:55Speaker 1: was honest with you. He told you he had a girlfriend.
- 56:58Speaker 1: He told you he had no plans to break up
- 57:00Speaker 1: with her. He told you, and you accepted all of this.
- 57:03Speaker 1: I mean, I get it. Things changed because guess what,
- 57:05Speaker 1: we as women aren't built for this. We aren't built
- 57:08Speaker 1: like this. But you already know the answers. You're pretty,
- 57:13Speaker 1: you have a beautiful body, you're very well educated, all
- 57:15Speaker 1: that you could easily be any man's prize possession. You
- 57:18Speaker 1: recently turned forty. It's time for you to stop playing games. Okay,
- 57:22Speaker 1: well stop stop. Let this man go on and be
- 57:25Speaker 1: with this woman that he's had before you, since and
- 57:29Speaker 1: after you, and you go on at forty and get
- 57:33Speaker 1: your own man. Okay, get your own man. You just
- 57:36Speaker 1: like you caught feelings for him because you were being
- 57:38Speaker 1: so sexual and everything for him, you could catch feelings
- 57:41Speaker 1: for someone else. Okay, So get yourself together, raise your
- 57:44Speaker 1: self esteem, and get what you truly deserve. You already
- 57:47Speaker 1: know this, Steve. This is a letter about a woman
- 57:51Speaker 1: who's kidding herself. And you know, I read these letters,
- 57:56Speaker 1: and I read them a little bit differently. I just
- 57:58Speaker 1: don't like when a woman lie. I just don't like that.
- 58:02Speaker 1: And Sister, I hate to tell you this, but if
- 58:05Speaker 1: you would just stop lying, you could be Okay. I've
- 58:10Speaker 1: been seeing a guy's faith most now, and our relationship
- 58:12Speaker 1: is strictly sexual. That's a lie. It's a lie. It's
- 58:18Speaker 1: been stopped being strictly sexual for you quite some time ago.
- 58:23Speaker 1: That's not true. When we first met He told me
- 58:27Speaker 1: he had a girlfriend that lives in another state and
- 58:30Speaker 1: he had no plans on breaking up with her. He
- 58:34Speaker 1: told you that, but she can't fulfill his needs when
- 58:39Speaker 1: she's far away. All he said was, I'd be wanting
- 58:43Speaker 1: to have sex sometimes and she ain't here to get
- 58:46Speaker 1: to me. But I have no intention of breaking up
- 58:52Speaker 1: with her. Then she tries to backtrack. We first met
- 58:58Speaker 1: at a club, and I would run into him at
- 59:00Speaker 1: local parties, so we were bound to hook up sooner
- 59:03Speaker 1: or later. Why what that means I'd ran up into
- 59:09Speaker 1: a lot of people. Wasn't no bound to nothing? No,
- 59:13Speaker 1: you wanted this from several events. You've looked over at him,
- 59:19Speaker 1: and you made it up in your mind that you
- 59:22Speaker 1: wanted him. What you mean we was bound to hook
- 59:24Speaker 1: up sooner later? You know how many times you see
- 59:26Speaker 1: somebody all the time. Now, many people see somebody at
- 59:29Speaker 1: work that's cute, but it ain't bound to be a
- 59:31Speaker 1: hook up. We have sex often, and it's really good sex.
- 59:36Speaker 1: I'm the one who satisfies his sexual needs and desires
- 59:40Speaker 1: while his girlfriend is away. Excuse me girlfriend, his girlfriend,
- 59:46Speaker 1: the one he told you that he has no plans
- 59:48Speaker 1: of breaking up with I'm the one who satisfies his
- 59:51Speaker 1: sexual needs and desires when his girlfriends were This one
- 59:54Speaker 1: gets women into trouble. See, women, you suck your such
- 59:58Speaker 1: nurturius oftentimes think that I can fix it. So, since
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: you have this problem with this woman being away so
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: long and she can't supply your needs, I'll tell you what.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna supply your needs. I caught you while she
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: is away. Now I got a problem though, because when
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: his girlfriend is in town, I often run into my
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: guy and his girlfriend in the club or at parties.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: This is what kind of small ass town? Is this?
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: A little bit ass time? I have to see him
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: all up on her, dancing secretly and giving her public
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: displays on affection right in front of me. It's his
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: girlfrid that he has no intentions of breaking up with.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: Why are you forgetting this here? It's supposed to be
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: in front of you because he ain't having an affair
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: with you, he told us to the girl just right here. Yeah,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: I told you well. Our first two of Steve's response
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: coming up in twenty three minutes after the hour, right
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: after this. You're listening, all right? Come on, Steve, let's
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: recap today's Strawberry letters, subject I'm in too deep with
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: this guy. Here's this lady been seeing this guy for
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: eight months. Lied to us right in the first sentence
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: said our relationship is strictly sexual. Nothing after this letter
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: says it strictly sick. Got a girlfriend living in another state,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: has no plans for breaking up with her. She can't
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: fulfill his needs when she's so far away. So we
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: met at a club and I run up into him
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: at local party. So we was bound the hook? Uh
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: sooner or later? What? Who makes that damn statement? I
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: keep seeing him and Wayne must be a sign from
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: the Lord. See everybody in that town though, Yeah, every
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: time I go down to this Chick fil a, I
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: see the same people down there. Ain't never thought, well
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: they in here again, must be moting chicken. I have
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: a problem, though, When his girlfriend is in town. I
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: run into the guy and his girlfriend in the club
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: at parties. I got to see him all up on
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: her dancers, seductively and giving her public displays of affection
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: right in front of me. That's caused. That's caused. You
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: knew the rules. You knew the rules from the beginning.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: He told you he has no intentions of breaking up
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: with her, and when she in town, he ain't in
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: your face. Because she in town supplying his needs, You
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: supplying when she ain't there. That's become a real problem
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: for me because I have realized that I'm catching feelings
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: for this guy. Another lie, another lie, I'm catching feelings
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: for this guy. No you called them, Yeah, you've ben't
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: had him, You've ben't had him. I have started to
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: question myself because his girlfriend is pretty and she has
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: a great body. But so do I. Okay, well, I'm
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: also very well educated, and I could here's the line, y'all,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: I'm also very well educated, and I could easily be
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: any man's prize possession. Well, you know why you're not.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: First of all, you are any man's prize possession. You
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: are you are, You are his prize other possession. And
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: you know why you're not the one, the number one
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: because you don't act like a number one. See you
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: act like a number two. See when you act like
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: a number two, then you gonna be a number two.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: A woman only gets to be number one when she
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: starts acting and behaving as a number one. As long
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: as you behave and act as a number two. So
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: shall it be. He told you he had no intentions
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: of leaving his girlfrid. You said, cool, you can have
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: some of this anyway while she it ain't here. Well,
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: guess what, he still ain't leaving. Honey. Keep bringing other
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: parties and they dancing all seductively in your face. You're
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: number two because you act like number two. The only
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: way to be number one is you behave and act
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: like number one? Am I being clear? Ladies? Can I
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: be getting clearer to you? First of all, you're getting
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: what you deserve because you're getting exactly what you wanted.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: You said we was bounding hook up soon or later.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: I feel like I deserve this guy, and I no
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: longer desire to be his side. Check that's true. Those
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: are probably real feelings. You have it. You no longer
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: desire to be his side chick. But if he don't
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: want you as the number one, what do we have hill? See, Ladies,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: here we go. You can want to want a man
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: to be your man, but if he don't want you
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: to be his girl, what we got him? We just
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: got you wanting something that he told you you couldn't have.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: In the beginning, I have been hinting at it and
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: he tells me that I'm a great woman and any
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: man would be lucky to have me. So should I
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: tell him that I want to be with him and
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: give him an ultimatum? Yes, yes, that's exactly what you
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: should do. You should because he just said you a
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: great woman and any man would be lucky to have you.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: So should I tell him I want to be with
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: him and give him an ultimatum? Yes, you should do
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: exactly that. It's time you exactly right, it's time to
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: go on and put it out there on the life.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: You should say this to him so you can find
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: out the truth and what he told. Your answer beginner,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: it's what he meant in the beginning, and you would
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: be good for any man, any man but him. Right,
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: he's taken Or do you think he would just discard
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: me and get another side check. No, it ain't about
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: another side chick. It's about the chick he got. He
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: got you because you signed up for it. All you
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: have to do is not signed up for and you'd
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: never been the side chick. And then maybe he had
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: looked at you and went, wow, she had number one.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: Let me look into this. But since you bit into
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: number two, number two, it is safe at second base.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: You're never make it all right, Steve. Good answer, Steve.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: You can email us guys or instagram us your thoughts
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: on today's Strawberry Letter. Also check out the Strawberry Letter

- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Awareness Month as well. Carlo is going to be here
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: to help heighten the awareness of issues concerning breastcancer among
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: African American women. We'll talk about that right after this.

- 1:07:36Speaker 1: advocates and I want to make sure that I'm constantly
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: involved in raising awareness about the issues of breast cancer
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: in African American women as well as provide information on
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: community resources. There's so much information out there. So this Saturday,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: I will be in Chicago with our home station B

- 1:08:09Speaker 1: and so I will be there again this year this Saturday.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: And just some serious business listen. Studies show that African
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: American women are more likely to get breast cancer at
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: a younger age and have a death rate from breast
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: cancer higher than Caucasian women of the same age. But
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: awareness of these issues will help the survival rate. And
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: early detection is the key. You hear that all the
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: time about cancer, all cancers. Early detection is the key.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: So if you are in the Chicago Land area, you

- 1:08:54Speaker 1: is struck And I will see you guys Saturday. All right,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: all right, needed information as always always. Yeah, it was
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: fun last year though. We had a great time. It
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: really was, but I just went home newsneakers, guys, I
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: was behind m Yeah, we have fun. We really did
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: have a awareness yes, yes, going home, home, home home, Yeah. Yes,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: in Chicago it was Chili too. Yeah. We have two
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: seasons winter summer and summer. That's it, and summer less
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: for what a couple of months winter less in nom
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: No in between, just two seas that's this winter summer,
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: that's it. Steve, you lived in Chicago. Yeah, that's what
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: he wants saying that you come from. But the songs
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: are so nice. Well, I wasn't up here for the
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: damn so I was up here. Hale came to town.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: Yeahd cold, cold cold. It's the only place where they
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: use hell to describe how cold it. All right, thank you, Carla.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we're gonna
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: talk about this new TV series of Academy Award winning
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: actor Forrest winnakers In. It's called Godfather of Harlem. We're
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: gonna talk about that at the top of the hour.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening, show man, oh man, there
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: is a new show on Epics E p I X.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: If you don't have this, you can get it from
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: your cable provider. It's called Epics. I had it. I
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: didn't even know I had it. I was paying for it,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: but I never watched anything on it. But now Epics EPI. Yeah,
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: where is it. It's on your TV. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: it comes through your cable company and everything, your cable provider.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: But man, Steve, they have a show Forest Whittaker. You
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: probably have been seeing the trailers about it. It's called
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: Godfather of Harlem. Yeah, show the commercials on other channels
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: you probably have. Yeah, you probably have. I'm sure they
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: bought packages everywhere. But it's the story of Bumpy Johnson
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: out of New York. He ran Harlem. Uh during the sixties,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: early sixties and fifties, I guess and man on man
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: Steve Forest Whitaker. You know, he won an Academy Award
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: for playing ed. I mean, so you know he can
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: act and who's okay, let me ask you this. Go ahead,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: that boy can ask who. I'll ask you this after
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: you tell st okay. But anyway, it's it talks about
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: Bumpy Johnson who ran Harlem. He was the Godfather of Harlem.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: And were there drugs involved in things like that? Yes?
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: There were? Uh and uh he made like other groups
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: like other Italians and people like that, if they wanted
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: to do business in Harlem, then he had to get
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: a cut of that. You know, they were running numbers,
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: they were doing all kinds of stuff back during that time.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: But also if you were a mother who had problems
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: with her son and you needed, uh, you didn't have
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: anywhere to go. If you were a single parent, you
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: would go to Bumpy and let me tell you something.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: Bumby Johnson would go talk to the boy and straighten
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: it out, you know, I mean, yeah, the oh oh yeah,
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: I can't think of his name off the hand, off hand,
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: but he's doing a great job as well. I mean, Steve,
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: it is so good. I had no idea. I mean,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: we saw American Gangster of course with Denzel talking about
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: Frank Lucas, but this he came a little after Bumpy Johnson.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: And I know I heard of Bumpy Johnson because Laurence
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: Fishburne played him in the movie. But yeah, he's a
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: good one. But the reason that American Gangster was so
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: good because you know a lot of people still alive,
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: oh talk about it. Yeah, you know, because Denzel wentn't
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: talked to Frank Luke when he was getting ready for
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: the part. He had done time and gotten out. Yeah,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: so it was real, real interesting. But that dog gone
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: Bumpy don't who I had no idea. I had no
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: idea I mean he truly believe that Forest Whitaker is
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: Bumpy Johnson. And I'm just gonna tell you this. You
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: haven't seen it yet. I'm gonna tell you this. He
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: carried a switchblade, that's all, and he lethal with it.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: That's all. I'm gonna see. If you have everybody, you
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: have to check the Forest Whittaker man does nothing that's
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: not believable. Thank you. I've never seen him do a
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: bad anything. Okay, here's the question I had. Let's start
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: with Tommy the actor on this Top three favorite actors
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: to whoa den Zel Butchino and I won't be ignored?
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: Dan Glenn Close cloth clean clothes Man, her and the
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: wife clean Man. Okay, I want to hear yours. Top three?
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: Come on, top three? Ask me, Come on, let's see.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: Denzel is my favorite. Yeah, Don Cheeta is number and
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: then number three is Force Whittaker, and then number four
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: Sam Jackson. Yes, being number five, we'll go, well, we'll
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: come back. Lawrence Fishbur, Lawrence Fishburn, Hello, but I love
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: I'll tell you who else I love too? Though, that
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: dude that played Marluke King. Oh, Jeffrey right, that's right. Oh,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: he's a base all right. Listen. Coming up, we'll continue
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: this conversation. Coming up, more music, more fun. We'll be
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: back at twenty minutes after the hour. Right here on
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening show, all right, Steve.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: Before we went to break, you were asking Tommy about
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: his list of favorite actors. You know, Tommy's list is
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: more you know what? I agree with him when he
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: said Alpuccino, I didn't. I didn't like that. Laugh. Glean close,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: what say you saw a basic instinct? Right? Damn? My
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: favorite act was Sharon Stone. That was Sharon Stone. I'm sorry,
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: fattal attraction, Yes, but that was all that good ass.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: I think I was married to that befo so that
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: I got here, I got somebody could have been that.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: I haven't seen that for real. That ain't no Jeffrey
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Rights beast. I think he's so underrated. He really. Yeah,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you, man, who's really really a great actor?
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: Will Smith? Oh yeah, listen to me. But that movie
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: couldn't cushion. Uh huh, this dude right here man in concussion? Yeah,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: Will Smith was it was so unbelievable. Yeah, it was.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: Here's a new one coming out to Gemini man. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: I like, I like I like I like al Puccino.
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I do like him. But I don't really
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: know nobody's names. So that's why I can't pick on.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: I just only picked dudes. I know. When we come back,
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: thirty three after the hour. Right after this you're listening

- 1:19:42Speaker 1: this and like I just found out a couple weeks
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: ago he was in jail. I didn't even know it. Well,
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna quickly get into the Stacy dash story, Steve,
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: before we run out of time. She was arrested for
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: domestic violence in Florida over the weekend, according to TMZ. Again,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: law enforcement sources say that Stacy allegedly punched and slapped
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: her husband, attorney Jeffrey Marty, and they saw scratches on
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: his left arm. Stacy told the nine one one operator
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: that she had been assaulted by her husband. She claims
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: the husband's fifteen year old daughter got in her face
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: and that started the whole situation. The couple has been
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: married for a year. This is Stacy's old ast year old.
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: All right, coming up our last break of the day,
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: and then Steve will leave us with some closing remarks.
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: That's coming up at forty nine minutes after the hour
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve. Here we
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: are our last break of the day on this Tuesday.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: It's been a good day. Yeah, really really good. Yeah,
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: good day. Uh so time for you now to let
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: us go home as day. I want to talk to
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: everybody about, oh, your relationship with God. You know what, man,
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: listen to me, only real, just as a real dude
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: talking to you. It's the most important relationship you can form,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: because a deal about a relationship with God. Here's the
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: truth of the matter. He is the one entity that's
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: for real and forever. Now you may find your soul
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: mate and you all made stay married until you die
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: and death that's cool. Some people think they find them
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: and something happens and they don't last till they die
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: of divorces fifty percent high. Most people don't honor the
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: commitments that they say it through or alter to death.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: Through his part, Richard for poor better sickness and health
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: and all of that. They just don't. God does every
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: single thing he says he's gonna do, he do it.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: So what I'm saying is this relationship that you can
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: have with God that you don't have to tell anybody
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: else about, will be the most solid relationship you'll ever form.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: My relationship is God is better than my relationship with
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: my best friend who happens to be my wife. But
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: guess what I can tell God anything, I might as
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: well tell him He already know. The other thing about
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: him is when my wife ain't around, God can help me.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: Here's another thing. When your best friend or the person
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: you think is the coolest in the world don't have
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: an answer for you, God has an answer. So what
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: I'm telling you is one percent real. This relationship that
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: you form with God, it'll be the most important relationship
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: you can Now here's the deal. You do not have
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: to go to church to have the relationship. You can
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: start the relationship now now as church good, of course
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: it is, especially if you find a good church Bible base.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: The man up there really love God and can give
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: you some real leadership from scriptures. They can teach you
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: stuff to help Bible study. They got prayer classes, they
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: got everything. You know, they got people that can help you.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: That's why I'm not knocking that at all. It's very,
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: very important. But here's the deal. You could start a
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: relationship with God right where you are. And I strongly
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: suggest if you haven't found a church, that you can
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: find God without a church. You can. He's available. God
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: is out here, he's everywhere. He's in everything. He's in nature,
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: he's in sky, he's in water, he's the creative of everything.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: His presence is real. But here's what you got to
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: do to form relationship with God. I want you to
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: stop allowing people to tell you what God think. Be
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: aware of this. You know God thinks that you don't.
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: Nobody know what God think. This is the first sign
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: that you're talking to some who tells you what God think.
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: I can assure you they don't know what He thinks.
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: They don't know who knows what God thinks. Nobody who
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: knows how he works, Nobody who knows exactly what or
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: how he'll do it. Nobody. Because his ways is so
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: far above and far away from ours, it's unexplainable at time.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: That's why when something happens in your life, that's unexplainable.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: When something happens in my life that's unexplainable, that's positive.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: It's always him because he's unexplainable. Stop allowing people to
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: tell you what God think about you, what God think
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: about your actions, what God think about your ways. Stop
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: allowing them to tell you what God thinks about your path.
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: Stop allowing people to tell you what God thinks about
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: your choices, because guess what they don't know. Form a
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: relation and ship with God. He'll walk with you, He'll
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: be available to you. He's share things with you. He'll
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: give you answers. He'll fix it for you. God can
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: do all of this. Man. And look, I'm just telling
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: you as a real dude. I ain't faking the funk
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: with you. I'm just telling you, as a real, imperfect dude,
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: what God can do for you. You need a relationship
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: with God. He is really real. Stop thinking that God
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: has abandoned you. Listen to me. I don't abandon you.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: If you look at it real close, if you really
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: observe your life, you've turned away from God. If you
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: don't feel God is because you ain't turned on him
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: and called on him, you cannot call on him. And
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: he don't show up. He would love to be that
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: for you, but if you never call on him. He
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: is a God that gives us the power of choice.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: If you choose not to call on him, he does
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: not barge in. God is powerful. Now, God could make
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: us do anything, but he created us in his image
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: with the power of choice. And he will not take
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: that choice from you because he said he would give
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: you that. He said he'd give it to you, so
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: that's what he do. So he's given you the power
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: of choice. You can decide to have a relationship with him,
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: or you can decide not to have the relationship with him.
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: I strongly suggest that you form this relationship, Steve, who
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: I do that. Go to a quiet place in your car,
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: in your bathroom, in your backyard, on your porch somewhere,
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: and say God, I need you, I need you, and
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: just keep whispering his name. Say it out loud if
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: you can. He comes right away. He comes right away.
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: And then tell him what you want, tell him what's wrong.
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: Praying hard man, You ain't really got to be on
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: your knees to say a prayer. You could be driving.
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: Form relationship with God. Man, It's really really cool. What
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: I'm telling you, and it starts with a simple Hey God,
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: I need you. Starts right there. I'm tired. I can't
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: thank of nothing else. I've done the best I can
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: and I'm out of answers. I need you come to me.
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: Show me how to get to you. That's all you
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: got to do. It's real simple. Just give it a try.
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: Those are my closing remarks. That's it, drop it, that's great. Hey,
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: that's it. Hey y'all, have a great weekend. Don't forget
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: talk to God. He'd love to hear from you. Bye.
