- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like a
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things in the true good at listening to mother,
- 0:30Speaker 1: Please don't join me. You gotta turn you go. You
- 1:24Speaker 1: gotta turn to turn them out. Turn you haven't got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn them out. Then turn the water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your tha uh huh, I shall will.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come
- 2:07Speaker 1: on dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:11Speaker 1: a radio show man, o man o man. How many
- 2:15Speaker 1: times I got to say that before I get tired
- 2:18Speaker 1: of it. I think it's gonna be a minute, folks.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I gotta be real with you, because, boy, that Steve
- 2:24Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show man, clear indication of how
- 2:30Speaker 1: God can do some unexpected, wonderful things for you, how
- 2:35Speaker 1: he leads your life in directions that you never ever
- 2:38Speaker 1: saw coming. You know. I was talking with somebody the
- 2:41Speaker 1: other day and they were talking about how Man, they
- 2:44Speaker 1: were young and they were doing things, and they never
- 2:47Speaker 1: knew that the things that they were doing as a
- 2:49Speaker 1: youngster would come and he helped form who they were
- 2:54Speaker 1: today as an adult. This guy's fifty years old. And
- 2:59Speaker 1: you know the same thing for you. If you look
- 3:01Speaker 1: back on your life and all of the things that
- 3:04Speaker 1: you've done, it helps shape you into who you are now.
- 3:09Speaker 1: This is provided now that you take the positive approach. Now,
- 3:14Speaker 1: when I say look back at your life and see
- 3:15Speaker 1: what you've done, that doesn't mean dwell on the misfortunate moments,
- 3:20Speaker 1: because the misfortunate moments were necessary. I know it. It's
- 3:23Speaker 1: hard to see that when it's happening to you, but
- 3:26Speaker 1: the unfortunate moments are necessary. You know, what really makes
- 3:31Speaker 1: you appreciate summer vacation is when to work. What really
- 3:36Speaker 1: makes you appreciate a walk on the beach, it's when
- 3:39Speaker 1: it's cold it is raining outside. What really makes you
- 3:43Speaker 1: appreciate when you're up, it's because you've been down. See
- 3:48Speaker 1: if you are up all the time. Just the nature
- 3:52Speaker 1: of us as human beings, we would lose our appreciation
- 3:55Speaker 1: for because it becomes case urah, whatever it is, well,
- 3:59Speaker 1: it is what it is, said, I'm just what what
- 4:01Speaker 1: what you take it for? Granted, it becomes expected. But
- 4:05Speaker 1: what happens in life says it has so many twisting turns,
- 4:08Speaker 1: and then you learn how to deal with those twisting turns,
- 4:11Speaker 1: which makes you now a more experienced person. And then
- 4:15Speaker 1: when the sunny days come, man, you go wild. It's
- 4:17Speaker 1: really nice outside. You really want to appreciate how warm weather.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Just stay in a bunch of cold weather all the time.
- 4:24Speaker 1: I'm you know what I'm saying. I'm just this is
- 4:26Speaker 1: really really simple and now analogies, but it helps you
- 4:29Speaker 1: along the way. Now here's what I came to say
- 4:33Speaker 1: today to everybody out there. And this has helped me
- 4:36Speaker 1: in my life. I can't tell you what it's done
- 4:39Speaker 1: for me, but a lot of people are struggling with
- 4:44Speaker 1: moving forward with their future, their future plans, their future goals,
- 4:50Speaker 1: their future aspirations, their future hopes, their future dreams. Just
- 4:56Speaker 1: simply that your future wants a lot of people trying
- 4:59Speaker 1: to have a hard time mapping out their future. Even
- 5:03Speaker 1: what I'm gonna do, what I'm gonna be, what I'm
- 5:06Speaker 1: gonna make harm or go about it? What do I
- 5:10Speaker 1: do next? I want to share something with you that
- 5:12Speaker 1: I had to come to terms with the quickest way
- 5:16Speaker 1: to lose focus on your future is to keep focusing
- 5:21Speaker 1: on your past. You know, It's like I said at
- 5:23Speaker 1: the beginning. You know when I say It's wonderful to
- 5:26Speaker 1: look at your life and review it, because if you
- 5:29Speaker 1: look at it, it'll tell you it really helps shape
- 5:33Speaker 1: inform you today as the person you are now if
- 5:37Speaker 1: you look at it in a positive sense. But if
- 5:39Speaker 1: you dwell in harp on the negative that's happened to you,
- 5:44Speaker 1: then that keeps you from seeing the good in the incident,
- 5:47Speaker 1: every bad thing that's happened to you, that was a
- 5:50Speaker 1: silver lining behind it. I know people who were on
- 5:53Speaker 1: drugs who finally, man just got sent to prison for
- 5:57Speaker 1: stealing because of the habit. I know cat to soul dope. Well,
- 6:01Speaker 1: he went to prison. He told me one time, he said, Steve.
- 6:05Speaker 1: He said, man, this is the best thing ever happened
- 6:07Speaker 1: to me to save my life. Now, most people would think,
- 6:10Speaker 1: how in the world is going to prison helpful for you?
- 6:14Speaker 1: The brother said, it saved my life. First of all,
- 6:18Speaker 1: it got me clean. He said, I've been cleaned for
- 6:21Speaker 1: five years from sitting in here. That's for starters. I'm cleaned.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I ain't still in no more. I ain't putting myself
- 6:28Speaker 1: in jeopard and I ain't jeopardizing nobody else. He said. Now, Man,
- 6:32Speaker 1: I don't went to college. I didn't got a college
- 6:34Speaker 1: degree while I met him. Then he was released from
- 6:38Speaker 1: prison and the brother's life was completely turned around. He married,
- 6:43Speaker 1: he got a family, he got a great job. He'd
- 6:46Speaker 1: go to work every day. He's a productive citizen. I mean.
- 6:50Speaker 1: So he looks back on his incarceration, even his drug abuse,
- 6:56Speaker 1: and it taught him how to appreciate the things in
- 6:59Speaker 1: life that he had taken for granted and was missing
- 7:01Speaker 1: because he said, man, my life was just in a blur.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I didn't even know what was going on. He said,
- 7:07Speaker 1: Now I appreciate every day I wake up. That's what
- 7:10Speaker 1: I mean. Even in your missteps in life, there is
- 7:14Speaker 1: a purpose for the missteps. Every time you fail, there
- 7:18Speaker 1: was a reason for the failure. See what I had
- 7:21Speaker 1: to do was I had to learn that all of
- 7:23Speaker 1: my failures taught me how to get back up. So
- 7:27Speaker 1: I became a very strong and tough person in getting
- 7:30Speaker 1: back up. And then I was down and out so
- 7:33Speaker 1: long that it taught me how to really appreciate the up.
- 7:37Speaker 1: And so I've taken all of that and used it
- 7:41Speaker 1: those experiences that happened to me, and I became a
- 7:45Speaker 1: more experienced person. So next time, when people talk about
- 7:48Speaker 1: me who don't know me. It don't shake me because
- 7:52Speaker 1: everybody's not gonna like you. Man, you might as well
- 7:54Speaker 1: gonna get on this train right now. And so what
- 7:58Speaker 1: I'm saying to you out there is the quickest way
- 8:00Speaker 1: to lose focus on your future is to keep focusing
- 8:03Speaker 1: on your path. Let it go. Yeah yeah, yeah, he left.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Sometimes the breakup is the blessing. I know it's hard
- 8:11Speaker 1: to break up because now you're loaning you by yourself.
- 8:14Speaker 1: But man, but when't you in misery when you was
- 8:16Speaker 1: in that? Weren't you in complete misery in that? Now
- 8:21Speaker 1: you kept asking God to fix it. But it takes
- 8:24Speaker 1: two people to fix a relationship. It don't just take one.
- 8:27Speaker 1: It takes two to make a thing go right. It
- 8:30Speaker 1: takes two to make it out of sight. You really
- 8:34Speaker 1: do have to have two people wanting a relationship to work.
- 8:37Speaker 1: It can't just be one person want a relationship, so
- 8:40Speaker 1: you can pray about the relationship all you want. If
- 8:42Speaker 1: the other person don't want you no more and ain't
- 8:45Speaker 1: gonna act right, you can't make him do that or
- 8:48Speaker 1: you can't make her do that. But you steady asking
- 8:51Speaker 1: God for a new relationship. But you are yet to
- 8:56Speaker 1: be grateful that you are in a position to have
- 8:59Speaker 1: a real relationship. And you keep harping on the pass.
- 9:02Speaker 1: You don't think he hear that. I'm just a dude
- 9:04Speaker 1: with a show, and I hear it all the time.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Let it go, go forward. It's over. You made it,
- 9:12Speaker 1: He bought you through it, you conquered, you survived it.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Why are you dwelling on it and making it the
- 9:19Speaker 1: cross around your neck when clearly he had removed it
- 9:23Speaker 1: for you. Now all you got to do is come on.
- 9:26Speaker 1: So if you're sitting behind him walls, brothers and sisters,
- 9:29Speaker 1: I'm talking directly to you sometimes. Man, you just got
- 9:33Speaker 1: to get it right. All this repeat offender business, that's for?
- 9:36Speaker 1: Who is that for? How ignorant can you be to
- 9:40Speaker 1: keep giving your life back to the penal system? Be free, man,
- 9:44Speaker 1: walk the streets, do the right thing. Ask God to
- 9:47Speaker 1: help connect you. He could do anything. You think he
- 9:50Speaker 1: can't give you a job? Are you serious? Man? Put
- 9:53Speaker 1: some faith on it. Let's move forward, y'all. Let it go.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Let's move ladies and gentlemen. Right now we are in
- 10:04Speaker 1: celebration of a new day. We are in deep gratitude.
- 10:10Speaker 1: What effects our attitude, which is directly correlated to the altitude.
- 10:17Speaker 1: We all flying high on gratitude. This is the Steve
- 10:20Speaker 1: Harvey Morny Show, Shirley Strawberry callin for real Mouth of
- 10:24Speaker 1: the South Junior government name killed Space and the legend
- 10:28Speaker 1: that is Nephew Tommy Junior. Well, you got real interesting
- 10:33Speaker 1: with your questions now, so might as well find out
- 10:36Speaker 1: what's on your mind today. Let me ask you this.
- 10:40Speaker 1: You've been here sixty five years. Yes, post was something,
- 10:43Speaker 1: but I just want to ask you question I answer to.
- 10:46Speaker 1: They had a whole lot in mind. I ain't been
- 10:49Speaker 1: packed with activity. Go ahead, this is gonna be perfectly up.
- 10:53Speaker 1: When did you learn that? How did you learn how
- 10:56Speaker 1: to trust God? Because I got some things happening. I
- 10:58Speaker 1: didn't even know how. You know. I'm still you know,
- 11:02Speaker 1: I'm still to me. It's an ongoing process. You learn
- 11:07Speaker 1: more and more and more. I tell you the thing
- 11:10Speaker 1: I'm learning right now. It's patience. I'm learning patience. I'm
- 11:15Speaker 1: learning that his timing is usually different from my timing.
- 11:22Speaker 1: I've already learned this, but I'm getting it reproven to
- 11:25Speaker 1: me right now, that his ways is different from your ways,
- 11:30Speaker 1: and trusting him at all costs is the best way,
- 11:34Speaker 1: even though it has some difficulties because we are human
- 11:38Speaker 1: and we like to put our hands on something so
- 11:40Speaker 1: we can be in the decision making process, and it
- 11:43Speaker 1: ain't necessary the majority of the time for us to
- 11:46Speaker 1: get in the way and do that. So I'm still,
- 11:50Speaker 1: even though I know to trust him, I'm still learning
- 11:55Speaker 1: through the different situations that beset me how to keep trust.
- 12:00Speaker 1: See it's one thing to say you believe, but then
- 12:03Speaker 1: you got to hold that belief when certain circumstances come up.
- 12:08Speaker 1: See it's hard to just blanket wash I believe, I trust,
- 12:13Speaker 1: and then something new come up that you ain't seen before.
- 12:17Speaker 1: You have a tendency to kind of fall back a
- 12:19Speaker 1: little bit and go back into some other ways. So
- 12:21Speaker 1: for me, it's been an ongoing learning process on that
- 12:26Speaker 1: complete and utter trust, that complete and utter faith. So
- 12:32Speaker 1: like this morning, I give your prime example was this
- 12:35Speaker 1: morning I was indecisive about something, and so I had
- 12:40Speaker 1: to look up a Bible verse that when you ask
- 12:43Speaker 1: for something from God and you get indecisive, you get
- 12:47Speaker 1: out of faith. You like the sea that's being tossed
- 12:50Speaker 1: by the wind, the changing winds, anything can come along
- 12:54Speaker 1: and blow you off course or make you get waves
- 12:56Speaker 1: into water and stuff when you start doubting. And so
- 13:01Speaker 1: I had to. I had to catch myself and reinforce
- 13:05Speaker 1: my faith and belief. I just think it's an ongoing
- 13:08Speaker 1: process for me. I'm just being honest about it now.
- 13:11Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure that's something full time Daddy created Christians
- 13:14Speaker 1: that's out think going. I never doubt. I always trust.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I lean on them thorly YadA, YadA, YadA, YadA. Yeah,
- 13:21Speaker 1: now you don't because you're human. I learned it a
- 13:24Speaker 1: long time ago, but I got to relearned it all
- 13:26Speaker 1: the time. How man, you know something? A man, Come
- 13:38Speaker 1: on past the preach and we'll be back with more
- 13:41Speaker 1: than Steve Hard Morning Show right after this. You're listening
- 13:44Speaker 1: to show. It is time now for church complaints with
- 13:49Speaker 1: the pastor and the deacon. What you guys, Scott, Huh?
- 13:58Speaker 1: You know I'm gonna wait on it. We gathered by focus,
- 14:04Speaker 1: waiting to partitiate in ways that asparize the dutiful. We
- 14:15Speaker 1: we emmilize that ever I make him. I'm gonna say
- 14:23Speaker 1: that one again. Ever, lessen am I left lest is
- 14:29Speaker 1: a put your tuar charry of ostracize of the ostracize.
- 14:37Speaker 1: I'm preaching now, Yes, deeper than the depths of our
- 14:43Speaker 1: longer time thinking, deeper than the depths of a longer
- 14:50Speaker 1: time ranger. That's a big deep well in Africa. We
- 14:57Speaker 1: are time to go deep in the church. Come platelets. Ah, yeah,
- 15:05Speaker 1: I yesterday was bigger Hat Sunday, Big hat Sunday. And
- 15:12Speaker 1: our sister Valencia Collins use hag glue to keep the
- 15:17Speaker 1: hat tight on her head. And now we got a problem.
- 15:21Speaker 1: She can't get it out. She has two jobs. He's
- 15:24Speaker 1: a cook at Waffer Highs in the morning and she
- 15:26Speaker 1: drives Uber in the evening. And the hat is caused
- 15:30Speaker 1: any issues that both of these guys, he said, any
- 15:33Speaker 1: assistance would be greatly appreciated. She will. You're gonna have
- 15:38Speaker 1: to refer to our sister that was online or that
- 15:43Speaker 1: had done her hair with the gorilla blue. Oh, we
- 15:48Speaker 1: don't have to refer to her and see what she
- 15:51Speaker 1: can help her with it. When she drive when she
- 15:57Speaker 1: works at Waffer House. Yeah, assuming that the eggs and
- 16:02Speaker 1: stuff is getting on the heat and we should driving
- 16:05Speaker 1: the Uber or the back she can't see the road,
- 16:09Speaker 1: so she got a coop. Bro, We're gonna get the
- 16:12Speaker 1: gullet got her hair done in gorilla glue to say
- 16:16Speaker 1: so for her. All right, all right, we'll make sure
- 16:21Speaker 1: we connect those two then we'll do that. Here's another situation,
- 16:26Speaker 1: Brother Elvin Bletsoe, who you know, excepting four years out,
- 16:30Speaker 1: he needs help getting his bracest taking off his teeth.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Now he has eight teeth on the top row and
- 16:38Speaker 1: they're not gonna get any closer than where they are.
- 16:40Speaker 1: So he's been he's been wearing these races for ten
- 16:43Speaker 1: years and it's fifteen hundred dollars for removal, and he's
- 16:47Speaker 1: asking for the church's hair path. That's brother him. When
- 16:54Speaker 1: you have teeth that have fallen out your head for
- 16:58Speaker 1: repeated drug you show the year that you was gonna
- 17:00Speaker 1: have to get them teeth replace. He tried to arb
- 17:03Speaker 1: and pull them all together when you got every other
- 17:07Speaker 1: tooth in your head. He's had them bracing now for
- 17:10Speaker 1: fifteen years. He closed the gaps on the braces done
- 17:14Speaker 1: all it used to look like the top of an
- 17:18Speaker 1: old medieval castle. That's how much spaces. Wow, look like
- 17:24Speaker 1: a look on the chess board. But not all right,
- 17:32Speaker 1: Moving right along, as you know, yesterday was Communion Sunday
- 17:36Speaker 1: we got an instru paths or somebody spread cheese wids
- 17:40Speaker 1: on all the crackers. Nah, since the old that's who
- 17:44Speaker 1: don't do dairy, she constipated and she ain't gone yet,
- 17:48Speaker 1: and he don't know what to do. I don't know
- 17:51Speaker 1: who put that cheese on there, but they put that
- 17:53Speaker 1: cheese wids on them, cracking business out like that. We've
- 17:58Speaker 1: been putting this investigation together to see who put it
- 18:02Speaker 1: cheese wids on the crackers. Because community is for the
- 18:05Speaker 1: blood and the body. Oh and the Lord cheese wids
- 18:11Speaker 1: had not been invented with the Christ was sacrificing his
- 18:15Speaker 1: last Lord. I thought that was cheese wids at Calvary.
- 18:21Speaker 1: It was nothing, it was so who ever did that?
- 18:27Speaker 1: As we don't find you, I do want you to
- 18:30Speaker 1: know you're going to heal anyway. So if we don't
- 18:34Speaker 1: get you, the good Lord will go head de consorr
- 18:37Speaker 1: it all right, I'm moving along. We got another issue.
- 18:41Speaker 1: The Weird Chair Bowling team has our problem. Strike Man Danny.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Strike Man Danny got caught in the gutta. His weir
- 18:50Speaker 1: chair is total completely out and it's twenty five hundred
- 18:54Speaker 1: dollars for a new one. If we want to help yo,
- 18:56Speaker 1: Carl Pound, Yeah, we're not doing that. Told Also, what
- 19:00Speaker 1: happened to the barrier of the fire line for the
- 19:03Speaker 1: wheels bowlers. They don't want to play with the barriers.
- 19:08Speaker 1: They say they grown folks and they don't want the
- 19:09Speaker 1: barriers out. So I don't know, we can't help you.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Then stay out the gutter. That quell, y'all? Yeah, oh lord,
- 19:22Speaker 1: this church, you know, I don't really know how to
- 19:26Speaker 1: respond to that. Oh I do understand them not wanting
- 19:31Speaker 1: the guard gave at the fire line because brother pun
- 19:35Speaker 1: kneel with him. They're too fast and didn't stop the time.
- 19:39Speaker 1: He ended up knocking all the pins down. His damn
- 19:43Speaker 1: sell out. She set the pills back up and slid
- 19:49Speaker 1: it back to his chair, but it took too long.
- 19:52Speaker 1: All right, here's something that took place here. They cleaned
- 19:57Speaker 1: the sliding glass though in the back of the church.
- 19:59Speaker 1: They cleaning, and they cleaning people did a great job,
- 20:02Speaker 1: so good that brother Shermon was running and ran dead
- 20:07Speaker 1: into the window. He is unconscious but stable at the hospital.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Were gonna need a loose sliding dough and that's gonna
- 20:14Speaker 1: be nine hundred. I just want you to know that,
- 20:17Speaker 1: no we've decided not to replace that sliding door. Knew
- 20:21Speaker 1: about that, since he felt like he was clear, we
- 20:24Speaker 1: just think it's best to leave it clear. In the
- 20:32Speaker 1: word of time. We're gonna put up a big pop
- 20:36Speaker 1: and then that way they'll know what that is and
- 20:39Speaker 1: we're not cleared. Nine hundred dollars. Louis wid thank you
- 20:44Speaker 1: all for Jordan. That's all the time we have for
- 20:47Speaker 1: church complaints for today. Thank you, past thank you. Coming
- 20:52Speaker 1: up next as the CLO with the Chief Love Officer
- 20:55Speaker 1: Steve Harvey in the building. Right after this You're listening
- 21:00Speaker 1: show coming up at the top of the hour, and
- 21:03Speaker 1: entertainment news. Republican Senate candidate doctor Oz is not one
- 21:08Speaker 1: of Oprah's favorite things, and she has endorsed his opponent.
- 21:12Speaker 1: And let's to be canceled. Yeah, canceled a cross Connection
- 21:16Speaker 1: show right before the election. And Dave Chappelle is hosting
- 21:20Speaker 1: Saturday Night Live for the third time after a big election.

- 21:28Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey, ready for your love questions
- 21:32Speaker 1: right now to Mia, and Cordova writes, our son's new
- 21:36Speaker 1: girlfriend came to meet us. He is twenty three and
- 21:39Speaker 1: she is twenty nine. Our son just started his corporate
- 21:42Speaker 1: job and got his own apartment. This older woman is
- 21:45Speaker 1: going to break his heart. And my husband says, that's
- 21:48Speaker 1: a good thing. Why is it a good thing? Well,
- 21:53Speaker 1: I mean he got to learn. It's the learning process.
- 21:56Speaker 1: You learn through your failures. The daddy saw it, this
- 22:00Speaker 1: older girl gonna break his heart. He realized his boy
- 22:02Speaker 1: ain't got what it take to hold leaving hull the
- 22:09Speaker 1: boy did daddy know? Huh? Huh? Did daddy know? It's
- 22:12Speaker 1: good for him? And that's it's gonna be all right.

- 22:33Speaker 1: my husband to you three brothers, and they all loved
- 22:38Speaker 1: the gospel about what goes on in each other's houses.
- 22:41Speaker 1: One of my brothers in law called yesterday and asked
- 22:44Speaker 1: me if I was still having bad crams, how do
- 22:47Speaker 1: I stop my husband from running his mouth? What? Oh,
- 22:52Speaker 1: that's too cramps? That too much? See, even I don't
- 22:57Speaker 1: want to discuss that. No, I don't want that for that,
- 23:06Speaker 1: Steve stad wrong. Women don't want to discuss the discuss
- 23:12Speaker 1: I don't they brothers don't stay weird. I don't know
- 23:15Speaker 1: me and don't do that. Yeah, I don't. My wife
- 23:19Speaker 1: don't get discussed, which paid nobody about nothing. I don't
- 23:26Speaker 1: have an answer for you. I don't know. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 23:32Speaker 1: that's a that's a tough one, right there, clo it is.
- 23:35Speaker 1: We'll almost say it something please boy? All right? Moving
- 23:38Speaker 1: on to Alicia and South Philly. Alicia says, I'm divorced
- 23:42Speaker 1: and my ex husband asked me to have sex with him,
- 23:44Speaker 1: and he said he gave me fifteen hundred dollars. He
- 23:47Speaker 1: owes me five hundred, but said he'd triple it if
- 23:49Speaker 1: i'd make love to him. I want to have sex
- 23:52Speaker 1: with him, but that's it. Nothing else. Do I take
- 23:54Speaker 1: the five hundred or the fifteen hundred? Going on? You
- 24:00Speaker 1: said you won't to fifteen hundred. You've been married to him, y'all?
- 24:03Speaker 1: Ain't man? Go ahead? Girl? Who won't they ex? I
- 24:08Speaker 1: don't get that. Who won't they ex? A lot of people,
- 24:11Speaker 1: a lot of for real or some things? To him?
- 24:16Speaker 1: He just messed up and got caught outside. Well, you
- 24:21Speaker 1: gotta pay either way. Child support. Alum, you're gonna pay.
- 24:25Speaker 1: That's for the kids. Don't even man, but you know
- 24:29Speaker 1: he old five hundred, she won't fifteen junior. You you've
- 24:33Speaker 1: been doing this inadvertently your whole life. You don't know it.
- 24:36Speaker 1: So you just got married. You fit the pager, Yeah,
- 24:41Speaker 1: you fit the pay Hey tell you that, sir. Yeah,
- 24:43Speaker 1: but you're paying right now. You don't even know it.
- 24:46Speaker 1: I yea. It started with that wed that highest wed.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Dogs and dogs and stuff, dogs running around and horses.
- 25:00Speaker 1: We have to pay, I get it. Yeah, okay, go ahead,
- 25:03Speaker 1: right last one, Steve, last one, uh Visha and Houston says,
- 25:09Speaker 1: my husband and I ran into an old friend that's
- 25:11Speaker 1: newly married. Oh and we met his wife. When the
- 25:15Speaker 1: couple walked off, my husband said the wife was too
- 25:18Speaker 1: much woman for his friend to handle. I got mad
- 25:22Speaker 1: because the woman has a very nice body. He claims
- 25:25Speaker 1: he was talking about her ego body? Is he lying
- 25:32Speaker 1: he was talking he was talking about the ego. Yeah, yeah,
- 25:41Speaker 1: that's it. That's what he told you. We're gonna have
- 25:46Speaker 1: to go with that. But really you thought he was
- 25:50Speaker 1: talking about the body. Yeah, I saw it, saw it.
- 25:55Speaker 1: We all thought all that extra. But why why did
- 26:06Speaker 1: he say ego? Why did he say that? Because he can't.
- 26:09Speaker 1: He can't because you can't talk about you can't say
- 26:13Speaker 1: but her body. And then he goes, yeah, yeah, that's
- 26:15Speaker 1: too much. How you know what's too much for him?
- 26:19Speaker 1: Is it enough for you? That's no number whole series
- 26:21Speaker 1: of questions. So he said ego and the staying with ego,
- 26:26Speaker 1: I don't care about that. I could tell by the
- 26:28Speaker 1: way she was looking upside his head. She seemed arrogant
- 26:31Speaker 1: to me. You know, I didn't like the way she
- 26:35Speaker 1: met her. She was kind of staying office. I think
- 26:37Speaker 1: he needed more, more comfortable and you know forward woman
- 26:41Speaker 1: like that. We're nothing to do discuss anything about her
- 26:44Speaker 1: body right here, because you're not gonna go down that
- 26:50Speaker 1: line of question. And we fin to have it, Junior
- 26:52Speaker 1: write just down nobody's body. But he didn't see. He
- 26:59Speaker 1: just said too much woman. So that's what that means. Okay,
- 27:04Speaker 1: that's too much woman, just too much attitude, too much ego,
- 27:08Speaker 1: that type of thing. It's what he meant. She's too bossy,
- 27:13Speaker 1: was stacked. That's what he's taking cold yea, too much
- 27:21Speaker 1: for him. I know he can't handle this. Ain't away
- 27:23Speaker 1: where he gonna satisfy her? Not no long time he
- 27:27Speaker 1: might be holding right now? Yes, call him so when
- 27:30Speaker 1: he said that? Did he slip up when he said
- 27:33Speaker 1: it to his wife? And then he had to be
- 27:35Speaker 1: quick and say, I meant ego? She walked off. He went,
- 27:41Speaker 1: that's too much woman for him. What you mean by that?
- 27:43Speaker 1: You know her attitude? Give us ready? So what she
- 27:48Speaker 1: wants to know? Is he lying? So the question the answer, no, No,
- 27:52Speaker 1: he's not not. He's talking about her ego. Do you
- 27:57Speaker 1: know he's lying? Yeah, But even if he is talking
- 28:00Speaker 1: about that body, you know what he's talking about. You
- 28:02Speaker 1: saw it, You didn't you think she was a lot?
- 28:08Speaker 1: You ain't think she was a lot? Had everything in
- 28:11Speaker 1: the right place. M ok So, So he was justified
- 28:18Speaker 1: in saying what he said. You write all this down
- 28:22Speaker 1: and everythink that if she fine get the line. I
- 28:24Speaker 1: got that one more time, Junior, that's the name of
- 28:29Speaker 1: the chapter. Don't even waste no time, Dalky. Matter of fact,
- 28:38Speaker 1: it's best that you didn't see it. What I didn't attention?
- 28:44Speaker 1: Let me get you know, if you see somebody fine coming,
- 28:48Speaker 1: turn your head the other way and wait on her
- 28:51Speaker 1: to walk into your eyes. I mean, yeah, you got
- 28:56Speaker 1: to stay there. Learn that one. If you see somebody
- 28:58Speaker 1: fine coming, turn your head to other weight and wait
- 29:02Speaker 1: on her to walk in your is line. Did you
- 29:08Speaker 1: turn back around like that? Ain't nothing? All right? Hello,
- 29:15Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, We'll have
- 29:17Speaker 1: some entertainment news for you right after this. You're listening
- 29:20Speaker 1: to show well, we all know. Tomorrow, Tuesday, November eighth
- 29:28Speaker 1: is election day in Pennsylvania. It looks like doctor Oz
- 29:32Speaker 1: is not one of Oprah's favorite things. Oprah has endorsed
- 29:35Speaker 1: Democrat John Fetterman over Republican doctor and Met Oz in
- 29:40Speaker 1: Pennsylvania's Senate race. Oprah tweeted at the beginning of the
- 29:44Speaker 1: mid term campaigns, I said it was up to the
- 29:46Speaker 1: citizens to vote for who would represent them. If I
- 29:49Speaker 1: lived in Pennsylvania, I would have already cast my vote
- 29:53Speaker 1: for John Fetterman. Oprah also endorsed Wow. Oprah also endorsed
- 29:57Speaker 1: several other Democrat candidates. M If I was in North
- 30:01Speaker 1: Carolina's sister Sherry Beasley, if I was in Florida, I
- 30:04Speaker 1: would be supporting Val Demmings. If I was in Wisconsin,
- 30:08Speaker 1: it would be Mandela Barnes in Nevada, Katherine Cortez Mastro
- 30:13Speaker 1: in Texas, Beto O'Rourke, and Raphael Warnock and the incredible
- 30:17Speaker 1: Stacy Abrams in Georgia. Come on, let's go right. I
- 30:23Speaker 1: think she got that right? Yes, Oprah Yes. Also another
- 30:28Speaker 1: trending in a special loan, as everybody realized you did
- 30:31Speaker 1: not hear hirsh Walker name in it? Did you? Right?
- 30:41Speaker 1: Good point? Not at all? Come on, let's do huh?
- 30:47Speaker 1: All right? In other trending entertainment news, we are all
- 30:50Speaker 1: still upset about MSNBC firing Tiffany Cross, host of the
- 30:54Speaker 1: popular show Cross Connection from the network. Tiffany posted a
- 30:58Speaker 1: statement on her ig pay. I am disheartened to learn
- 31:01Speaker 1: of MSNBC's decision to cancel the Cross Connection at such
- 31:05Speaker 1: a crucial time, four days before the midterm elections. From
- 31:10Speaker 1: the beginning, we were intentional about centering communities of color,
- 31:14Speaker 1: elevating issues, issues and voices often ignored by the mainstream media,
- 31:20Speaker 1: and disrupting the echo Chambers, wrote Cross, adding that the
- 31:23Speaker 1: program was the network's highest rated weekend show. Yeah, usually
- 31:27Speaker 1: you get canceled because of ratings, but not in Tiffany's case,
- 31:31Speaker 1: hump Cross went on to say now is not the
- 31:35Speaker 1: time to retreat to politics or journalism as usual. It
- 31:39Speaker 1: is my hope that the last two years that in
- 31:42Speaker 1: an MSNBC have been disruptive and transformative, changing how politics
- 31:47Speaker 1: are discussed and making policy more digestible. In late October,
- 31:52Speaker 1: Fox News conservative host Tucker Carlson added a segment about
- 31:57Speaker 1: Cross that swiftly received criticism from the Anti Defamation League.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Crosson also told his audience that Cross was, uh, fermenting
- 32:07Speaker 1: a race war against white people. Really, then what are
- 32:11Speaker 1: you doing, Tucker Coston over there? If she's doing that? Wow?
- 32:15Speaker 1: You really? Yeah? Wow? So Tucker Casson might as well
- 32:22Speaker 1: have a tiki torch in his head. Yeah yeah. And
- 32:27Speaker 1: he said that about Tiffany. He a lot of nerve. Man,
- 32:32Speaker 1: They're just so one sided, you know. I just you can't.
- 32:35Speaker 1: You have to watch CNN and Fox so you can
- 32:38Speaker 1: gather the information and see where they're going. It's it's
- 32:42Speaker 1: just really sad the condition of politics today. It's really
- 32:45Speaker 1: really sad. We have to vote so we can get
- 32:49Speaker 1: some sensibility in these offices, because if you don't, man,
- 32:55Speaker 1: you're gonna allow one sided rhetoric to control what you
- 33:00Speaker 1: do in SAE And I'm telling you, man, it is
- 33:04Speaker 1: bad for us people of color anyway. But if you
- 33:08Speaker 1: allow these policies to continue, these people to continue, if
- 33:13Speaker 1: you allow the minority to keep controlling the majority, this
- 33:17Speaker 1: is gonna be ugly. And Donald Trump is bracing to
- 33:21Speaker 1: rerun again. Ya, this is even possible. Yeah, it's being
- 33:26Speaker 1: beyond me. Man. Why how he's even up for consideration
- 33:32Speaker 1: with all he did, all he called all he's being
- 33:37Speaker 1: accused of all this, and then this party has nothing
- 33:44Speaker 1: better than to put him forward. And the sad party
- 33:48Speaker 1: is we don't have a counter And MSNBC two for
- 33:55Speaker 1: firing Tiffany's she can walk up the hall. She could
- 34:00Speaker 1: walk up. Yeah, she could walk up the hall because
- 34:06Speaker 1: it's not because it's like no, and it's at Fox.
- 34:09Speaker 1: They stay true to who they Yeah, who they are. Yeah.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Nobody you know, nobody over there gets fired. Yeah. They
- 34:17Speaker 1: say whatever they want, They say whatever they want. Yeah,
- 34:20Speaker 1: And she was blindsided by this. This is horrible, all right. Um.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Finally an entertainment entertainment news guys, Dave Chappelle has been
- 34:28Speaker 1: confirmed as the host of this weekend's episode of Saturday
- 34:31Speaker 1: Night Live. Dave's appearance on the show would mark the
- 34:34Speaker 1: third time that he would host SNL following an election.
- 34:38Speaker 1: His first was back in twenty sixteen, directly following the
- 34:42Speaker 1: election of Donald Trump, the second after Joe Biden was
- 34:45Speaker 1: voted into the White House. So there you go. We
- 34:48Speaker 1: look forward to sing and hearing what Dave Chappelle has
- 34:51Speaker 1: to say for sure. Oh yeah, it's gonna be good.
- 34:57Speaker 1: It's definitely gonna be good. You know that. Yeah, go Dave? Yeah,
- 35:03Speaker 1: m M. Well would you say, would you say? I'm
- 35:08Speaker 1: just proud of Dave. You know he's gonna be on
- 35:10Speaker 1: the third time. Man, he's brilliant with all his political comments.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Yeah he is. Yeah, that's true. Tomorrow is election day.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Though we cannot sleep, We cannot play around this is it. Yeah. Yeah.
- 35:27Speaker 1: If you if you've waited till the last minute, please
- 35:30Speaker 1: make a plan tomorrow. Get there early, you know, standard
- 35:35Speaker 1: line if you have to, But just make sure you
- 35:37Speaker 1: vote tomorrow. It's crucial. It is crucial if you already
- 35:41Speaker 1: haven't voted early, like Steve. Yeah, let's exercise, right, m
- 35:50Speaker 1: let's prove them and all the polls wrong, because they
- 35:53Speaker 1: ain't never all right, coming up at twenty minutes after
- 35:58Speaker 1: the hour. Like we've we've been saying, tomorrow is election day, Well,
- 36:01Speaker 1: how well do you know your candidates? We'll talk about
- 36:03Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to show. We've all
- 36:09Speaker 1: seen a lot of commercials about candidates in our area,
- 36:12Speaker 1: and one candidate will tear down another candidate on the commercial.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Then after a while we sort of tune out the commercials.
- 36:18Speaker 1: This means a lot of voters don't know the candidates
- 36:21Speaker 1: at all or what a candidate's agenda is. To be
- 36:25Speaker 1: an informed voter, it is important to know about the
- 36:27Speaker 1: candidates and issues you're voting for. It when you cast
- 36:30Speaker 1: your valot. Doing research in advanced of casting your valot
- 36:34Speaker 1: is very very important. So please know who you were
- 36:37Speaker 1: voting for. You know. That's the message here, that's the
- 36:41Speaker 1: message that to do your research. I mean, there are
- 36:45Speaker 1: a lot of things at stakes. Senate seats, House seats,
- 36:48Speaker 1: gubernatorial races. We're picking governors. This is an election that's important,
- 36:54Speaker 1: you know. And these commercials that are out there now, wow,
- 36:59Speaker 1: talk about dirt slinging, mud slinging. These are some some
- 37:03Speaker 1: lowdown dirty commercials. So if you don't know you definitely
- 37:08Speaker 1: need to do this on your own to research these candidates.
- 37:11Speaker 1: You surely can. I say this, you got because I
- 37:15Speaker 1: voted last week with my wife and my daughter. You
- 37:17Speaker 1: gotta make sure this is not one of those things
- 37:19Speaker 1: where you can vote across the board. You can just
- 37:21Speaker 1: push one button flying, you know, And that's so you
- 37:24Speaker 1: gotta go in there and definitely know what you're doing,
- 37:26Speaker 1: who you're voting for. And there's certain things that you
- 37:28Speaker 1: might not vote for period. You know, you don't know
- 37:31Speaker 1: who who the railroad commissioner or whatever that is. It's
- 37:34Speaker 1: a lot of stuff on there, but you got to
- 37:36Speaker 1: make sure the main things that you're going in there for.
- 37:38Speaker 1: If you make sure you you know, you don't have
- 37:41Speaker 1: to vote for every single thing on there. But you're
- 37:43Speaker 1: going in there, you're voting for the governor, you voting
- 37:44Speaker 1: for this, you're voting for that. Then you gotta pick
- 37:46Speaker 1: and cus. But for the most part, you can't just
- 37:48Speaker 1: vote across the board. That's that's what all said. I've
- 37:52Speaker 1: never gone in there and knew all the issues. No,
- 37:55Speaker 1: now I try to read some of them and yes,
- 37:58Speaker 1: you vote yes for Propo eighteen or no. Yeah, when
- 38:04Speaker 1: they see well, I think what you have to do though,
- 38:08Speaker 1: with those propositions, with those bonds, those still affect your community,
- 38:13Speaker 1: is that you have to Yeah, this is stuff you
- 38:16Speaker 1: have to deal with, yes, every day. So the judges,
- 38:19Speaker 1: the people that you're voting for locally as judges. These
- 38:23Speaker 1: judges could be appellate court judges and they can work
- 38:27Speaker 1: their way right on up to the Supreme Court. And
- 38:29Speaker 1: we see what just happens with the Supreme Court. So
- 38:33Speaker 1: it's important that you are informed. Why don't you spend
- 38:36Speaker 1: today today to get informed on all of these issues,
- 38:40Speaker 1: the judges, the candidates, the propositions, the bonds, so you
- 38:44Speaker 1: will know what's happening in your community. Well, you know
- 38:47Speaker 1: you're allowed to take a cheat sheet in with you.
- 38:51Speaker 1: You are, No, don't let them tell you you can't,
- 38:53Speaker 1: because like my family, all my adult children, they research
- 38:56Speaker 1: all these bonds and all this here and they go, mom, dad,
- 38:59Speaker 1: this is what we're voting for. Make sure and say
- 39:02Speaker 1: you you're allowed to take a cheat sheet in. So
- 39:05Speaker 1: I've always just know. Not your phone though, right, you can't.
- 39:08Speaker 1: You can't cant no, sir, all right, it can't be
- 39:14Speaker 1: on your phone. Yeah, again, please know who you are
- 39:17Speaker 1: voting for. Tomorrow. It's very important to get there early
- 39:20Speaker 1: if you can. Coming up next, we're gonna switch gears
- 39:23Speaker 1: here because Sister Odell is coming by and we'll talk
- 39:27Speaker 1: to her right after this. You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 39:33Speaker 1: Good morning, Sister Odell, you are here, I see you.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Good morning. Shout to call and missus. Sabby. You on
- 39:40Speaker 1: your bar, Oh the bar, good morning. Let's talk quick.
- 39:48Speaker 1: I'm on these shout segments, you know, y'all bumps me
- 39:51Speaker 1: moves me around quite often on here, and ain't like
- 39:54Speaker 1: it used to be. Well, okay, you're here, you know
- 39:57Speaker 1: day before election day. You know tomorrow we have to vote,
- 40:01Speaker 1: um if we haven't already. So my question is will
- 40:04Speaker 1: you be at your polling place right and early tomorrow.
- 40:07Speaker 1: I'm bringing water, passing on water. I'm breaking all along.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Oh no, I helped people. I'm a Christian. You can't
- 40:18Speaker 1: stop me from being a Christian, Yes, ma'am. Ain't man.
- 40:21Speaker 1: If I understand the line need water and I can't
- 40:23Speaker 1: give him water. The Bible says the water is thirsty,
- 40:26Speaker 1: thirsty for the water. Yes, he who needs give him
- 40:32Speaker 1: drinks enough. Okay, yes, ma'am, do what knowledge that you
- 40:38Speaker 1: would have him doing to you when you want a
- 40:40Speaker 1: cup of water where out I was one of them,
- 40:46Speaker 1: one of them folks would say something to me, It's
- 40:49Speaker 1: gonna be a situation and a problem it. Excuse me, ma'am.
- 40:53Speaker 1: We are not allowed to give water to the people
- 40:56Speaker 1: standing in line if you don't get your ass out
- 40:59Speaker 1: of cut out of this drum. I man, I'm I'm
- 41:06Speaker 1: already ready. I'm warmed up. I had soup for people's
- 41:11Speaker 1: and everything. I've been doing this for years. I passed
- 41:14Speaker 1: it out soup. I have hot biscuits in my purse
- 41:21Speaker 1: and fall you know, people I'm standing like getting hungry.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Sometimes I got biscuits and water and tea nice. I've
- 41:31Speaker 1: been doing this for years. I tell you, I'm not
- 41:34Speaker 1: I didn't even tell you my police station. You're gonna
- 41:36Speaker 1: come down there and say something me. But you'd better
- 41:38Speaker 1: be coming because I keep it all on the cart. Yeah.
- 41:43Speaker 1: Now the cart got a cross on it. Touch and
- 41:46Speaker 1: see what happened. So you go down like a little popsicle,
- 41:55Speaker 1: you know, strew the where they used to ride with
- 41:57Speaker 1: the wheels and man had to bicycles eating had I
- 42:00Speaker 1: cream in the front. Yeah, that's what he looked like. Oh, okay,
- 42:05Speaker 1: are you rooting for herschel at faith? Not that white
- 42:09Speaker 1: folks when dug him up, they must think black people stup,
- 42:13Speaker 1: dig up. This dumb ass boy talking about heating to
- 42:16Speaker 1: be a SA. He can't spell center, He don't know
- 42:22Speaker 1: no issues. He just as dumb as he want to be.
- 42:26Speaker 1: And I don't know why the Democrats ain't hopping on
- 42:28Speaker 1: this commercial way beating choked and white threatened the killer
- 42:31Speaker 1: with a gun. And you know how that well, but
- 42:34Speaker 1: then you know they voted Trump, and so you know,
- 42:37Speaker 1: oh wow, well this corruption were full of corruption. That's
- 42:44Speaker 1: about a dumb dumb as a damn dough knob. He
- 42:47Speaker 1: just said dumb. He don't know the issues. Answer question wrong.
- 42:54Speaker 1: We talk about menicaid, doubt much for innocent people. Need
- 42:58Speaker 1: to start eating better. Used to corn fed bucket fed
- 43:03Speaker 1: ass cowboard, Georgia boarddog dumb ass hell he running for senator,
- 43:10Speaker 1: that man running against the pastor heater what the school
- 43:14Speaker 1: got degrees at more House, got education and he cared

- 48:07Speaker 1: So you're just trying to tell me that all your
- 48:10Speaker 1: pictures are from the waist up. No, they're not awesome
- 48:12Speaker 1: to waist up. But I'm not about to be flashing

- 48:43Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. You're not about to put
- 48:45Speaker 1: my booty on no app talking about give it a week?
- 48:49Speaker 1: You know I got a brain right. Ain't nobody about

- 49:35Speaker 1: a star. I'm trying to make you a star, is
- 49:37Speaker 1: what I'm trying to say. I'm all right, I don't
- 49:40Speaker 1: think I'm gonna be an Instagram star from my booty jiggling.
- 49:43Speaker 1: I'm okay, there's plenty of people doing that already here.
- 49:46Speaker 1: You'll find somebody to get that slot. I'm just trying
- 49:49Speaker 1: to make you a star. That's all I'm trying to do.
- 49:51Speaker 1: You know what I'm really well, I really want to
- 49:53Speaker 1: know it's who told you to call me this? Some
- 49:56Speaker 1: more bulls? Nobody needs this. You don't call me talking
- 50:00Speaker 1: about you want to streat my booty? Who do you
- 50:02Speaker 1: think I am? Better? Question? Who do you think you are?
- 50:04Speaker 1: This is some boots Black women don't have trying for this.
- 50:08Speaker 1: You need to call talking about you gonna pay some bills.
- 50:10Speaker 1: That's what you need to call talking about. Don't call
- 50:12Speaker 1: me talking about no booties. I'm sorry. What. Don't call
- 50:16Speaker 1: me talking about no booties? Call me talking about you
- 50:20Speaker 1: want to pay some student loans. Tell me you're trying
- 50:22Speaker 1: to pay a car. No, don't call me talking about
- 50:25Speaker 1: you want to see my booty on the internet. This
- 50:27Speaker 1: is so ridiculous, Like what is this boot Okay, okay, okay,

- 50:42Speaker 1: and I'm gonna have one space empty. You see. Yeah,
- 50:46Speaker 1: this is a great lesson in being prepared, starting early,

- 54:08Speaker 1: We could be reading your letter live on the air,
- 54:10Speaker 1: just like we're gonna read this one right here, right now.
- 54:13Speaker 1: You never know. It could be yours. It could be
- 54:18Speaker 1: you never know. Buckle up and hold on tight. We
- 54:20Speaker 1: got it for you here. It is Strawberry Letter. All right,
- 54:24Speaker 1: thank you, nephew. Subject she slapped my husband. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 54:30Speaker 1: My husband and I love to hang out after football games.
- 54:34Speaker 1: We are Clemson fans and my husband played football, so
- 54:36Speaker 1: we were all into the games. We met a group
- 54:39Speaker 1: of friends at our favorite bar and two of my
- 54:41Speaker 1: single girlfriends came. They're not into football, but they thought
- 54:45Speaker 1: some single men might be out. We were sitting back
- 54:49Speaker 1: and chilling, and one of my friends joined us. She
- 54:53Speaker 1: went to the bar to order her own food and drinks,
- 54:55Speaker 1: even though we had a waiter that checked on us.
- 54:59Speaker 1: My husband was joky joky with her, but I could
- 55:02Speaker 1: see that she had a bad vibe from the time
- 55:05Speaker 1: she walked in. She was on her phone, texting a
- 55:09Speaker 1: whole lot. At the same time, my husband seemed distracted
- 55:12Speaker 1: and he checked his phone a lot. I am watching
- 55:16Speaker 1: them the whole time because something was not right. If
- 55:20Speaker 1: she texted, he looked at his phone. Then she got
- 55:23Speaker 1: up to go sit at the bar, and it was
- 55:25Speaker 1: packed by then, so I could not really see what
- 55:28Speaker 1: was what she was doing. My husband went to the
- 55:31Speaker 1: bathroom and stopped by the bar to talk to her.
- 55:36Speaker 1: He showed her his phone and she showed him hers.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Then she put her finger in his face and lightly
- 55:43Speaker 1: slapped him. I walked over to them, and he looked
- 55:46Speaker 1: like a deer in headlights. He said he wanted to
- 55:48Speaker 1: know why she was being antisocial and sitting at the bar.
- 55:52Speaker 1: So I asked him why he cared. She echoed, saying, yeah,
- 55:57Speaker 1: why do you care. He swears it was nothing at all,
- 56:00Speaker 1: and that I did not see her slap him. Why
- 56:03Speaker 1: would my friend invite this woman to join us, join
- 56:06Speaker 1: us if something is up with her and my husband.
- 56:10Speaker 1: I want to ask about this woman, but I don't
- 56:13Speaker 1: want to seem pressed. What should I do? You gotta ask?
- 56:16Speaker 1: What do you mean? You don't want to seem pressed.
- 56:18Speaker 1: This is your husband. You saw this woman slap him.
- 56:20Speaker 1: You have every right to ask and find out what's
- 56:23Speaker 1: going on. I'm just surprised by this because where and
- 56:26Speaker 1: when could this ever happen? You see a woman slap
- 56:28Speaker 1: your husband and nothing there certainly seems to be something
- 56:33Speaker 1: going on. I mean, you know, you peep did with
- 56:36Speaker 1: all the text texting back and forth and all of that.
- 56:40Speaker 1: You know, you know when someone around you gets a
- 56:42Speaker 1: text from someone else because they're looking, You know, you
- 56:45Speaker 1: see someone texting, You know how this stuff goes. They
- 56:48Speaker 1: were very familiar. You know what you saw with your
- 56:50Speaker 1: own eyes. This woman had a lot of nerve to
- 56:53Speaker 1: slap him in front of you, and she did it
- 56:55Speaker 1: in front of everyone. I'm sure she definitely knew what
- 56:58Speaker 1: she was doing and that you were there with him,
- 57:01Speaker 1: which is why this all happened. Anyway, I say, believe
- 57:05Speaker 1: what you saw in spite of what your husband said.
- 57:08Speaker 1: He said you didn't see her slap him, and believe
- 57:11Speaker 1: everything your intuition is telling you. You said you knew
- 57:14Speaker 1: something was off, you knew something wasn't right. You know,
- 57:19Speaker 1: this is just crazy, because no woman is just gonna
- 57:22Speaker 1: slap someone randomly, you know, if there's not anything going
- 57:27Speaker 1: on between him, he said something crazy. She was mad
- 57:29Speaker 1: because you were there. All of that. Your friend is
- 57:32Speaker 1: wrong for inviting the woman, Your husband is wrong and
- 57:35Speaker 1: stupid for stopping to talk to her in the first place.
- 57:38Speaker 1: And the woman doesn't give a darn about your marriage
- 57:41Speaker 1: or you being there. Your husband is the one you
- 57:45Speaker 1: should be talking to about this, though, he you know,
- 57:49Speaker 1: maybe even slap him again, you know, since he didn't.
- 57:52Speaker 1: He said you didn't see her slap him the first time.
- 57:55Speaker 1: It's okay for you to be pressed. Speak up for yourself,
- 57:58Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Well, surely my answer is going to
- 58:02Speaker 1: surprise you. And yeah, because I usually try to help
- 58:08Speaker 1: some guys out. The name of the letter, though, is
- 58:14Speaker 1: she slapped my husband. I'm gonna do something I hardly
- 58:18Speaker 1: ever do. I'm gonna start at the bottom. He swears
- 58:22Speaker 1: it was nothing at all that I did not see
- 58:25Speaker 1: her slap him. Why wouldn't my friend invite this woman
- 58:30Speaker 1: to join us if something was up with her and
- 58:33Speaker 1: my husband? I just want to ask about this woman,
- 58:37Speaker 1: but I don't want to seem pressed. What should I do? Well,
- 58:44Speaker 1: I show want to know who the woman is that
- 58:47Speaker 1: wrote this letter, because you're amazing. I've never had one
- 58:52Speaker 1: of you. This is great. You watched the woman slap
- 58:57Speaker 1: your husband and you don't want to seem pressed. Oh
- 59:04Speaker 1: my god. And then he told you you didn't really
- 59:11Speaker 1: see her slap him. That was the move right there.
- 59:17Speaker 1: And you want to know why your friend invited this
- 59:22Speaker 1: woman to join us if something were up with her
- 59:25Speaker 1: and my husband. Your friend may not know anything about it.
- 59:30Speaker 1: She just invited the woman. But now let's go back
- 59:35Speaker 1: now and read this letter. Y'all go to the y'all
- 59:38Speaker 1: Clemson fans, y'all went to the game. So the single
- 59:43Speaker 1: women came. They ain't like football, but they thought some
- 59:45Speaker 1: single guys would be there. You're chilling, and one of
- 59:49Speaker 1: your friends joined us. So then she went to the
- 59:54Speaker 1: bar to order her own food and drinks. Even though
- 59:58Speaker 1: we had a way that checked on us. My husband
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: was joking, joking with her, but I could see that
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: she had a bad vibe from the time she walked in.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: She was on her phone, texting a whole lot. At
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: the same time, my husband seemed distracted and he checked
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: his phone a lot. I'm watching them the whole time
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: because something was not right. Normally I would try to
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: help this guy with some lies. Steve Way, he should
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: hang on. Hang on. We'll have part two of Steve's
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letter subjects she slapped my husband? Who does that?
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: All right, we'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter and get your response. What you got Heart
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: two the titles she slapped my husband. They had a bar.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: They clips some fans. Guy used to play. They all
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: go to the bar. A couple of girl friends came,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: but they don't like football, but they figured some single
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: guys would be there. Then another one of your friends came.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: According to you, she was one of your friends. Came
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: and had a very bad vibe, and she went to
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: the bar to order her food. But y'all had a
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: waiter that was checking on y'all. Ever, she was on
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: her phone, texting a lot, and at the same time,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: my husband seemed distracted and he checked his phone a lot.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: So now they texting each other. I'm watching them the
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: whole time because something was not right, she texts. He
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: looked at his phone. Oh lord. Then she got up
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: and set at the bar, and it was packed, so
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: you couldn't really see what was going on. Your husband
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: went to the bathroom, stopped by the bar to talk
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: to her. He showed her his phone, she showed him hers.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Then she put her finger in his face and lightly
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: slapped him. I walked over to him. He looked like
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: a dead headlight. He said. He wanted to know why
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: she was being antisocialist sitting at the bar, So I
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: asked him why he can Now here's the part of
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: the whole letter. She echoed me, saying, yeah, why do
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: you care? Now? Right here? Who are you asking my
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: husband any questions? But when I walked over there, the
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: fact that you had slapped him changes our relationship from
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: now on, because wait a minute, why did you slap
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: my husband? Now your husband trying to get out of it, now, baby,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: she didn't slap me. What you're talking mom? Slap me him?
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: You should have asked her why did you slap my husband?
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Because she answering all the other questions. See that old?
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: That old? And yeah, why do you care? Yeah? Why
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: do you care? Oh? She answering questions. Well, then you
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: should have asked her, why did you slap my husband? Yeah?
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: And then when she soon as she gave you her
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: her answer, why you ain't slap her? Ass? Get it?
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: Don't understand this at all? See, and then you you
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: something you're a little off. You said, why would my
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: friend invite this woman to join us? If something is
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: up with her and my husband? Your friend that invited
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: her to join and may not know nothing about this? Right,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: everybody in the dog that didn't nobody know about this?
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: I want to ask about this woman, but I don't
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: want to see him pressed, so you're gonna let it go.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Who are you? Oh this is? Do you have a
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: sister that was crazy? Right there? Are you available after this?
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Do you have friends that's available? Because I got pardners
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: that want to meet this type of woman. I don't.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: I don't even understand how you let the woman slap
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: your husband, and you ain't had no words for her.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: He lied, so he did the best slot. Why does
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: she slap you? She ain't slap me, and you just
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: saw her do itzy, what slap? Why was you showing
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: her your phone? I ain't showing her my phone. She
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: showed you her phone. If you really wanted to see it,
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: get crazy. Man, you could have snatched his phone, would
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: have did it. But then I know you ain't gonna
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: snatch his phone because you don't want much. An actor
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: don't want to be pressed. Girl. This letter don't make
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: no sense. Lady, I don't know what should I do? Well?
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: For starters, let me tell you what the average woman
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: won't do. This is far from over m Who is

- 1:10:44Speaker 1: this will on Facebook. Rights My girlfriend is now my fiance.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: That's apparently not good enough for her parents. Though we're
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: planning to visit them for Thanksgiving, but it's been made
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: clear that we will still need to have separate bedrooms
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: because we're still not married. This has been a thing
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: with them ever since we got together three years ago.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: I'm over it. I know this will be the last
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: time for this. But I've suggested to her that we
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: act like grown ups and get a hotel so we
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: don't have to play along with rules we both think
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: are stupid. She thinks that her parents will be insulted
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: if we don't stay. I think they'll get over it
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: if they're insulted. What do you think, uncle Steve, Well,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: I think you got to respect the rules of the house, man. Yeah,
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: and all of it is is just one weekend, and
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: just play it like that, man, Just honor. It's just
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: a system. Man, they old school. You gotta respect this
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: man and this woman's house and their rules and their house.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: And if you're the fiance, that's cool. Man, y'all still
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: gonna be fiance. You can miss from you can miss
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: one weekend, just three days. There's a whole lot of
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: times after you get married. You ain't gonna have sex though,
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: whole lots, so you're ready. It's a whole lot. I
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: let ask all you want. It ain't happening to night,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: so that gives me junior one practicing her. Don't say
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: a whole lot of weekends. I just got in him,
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: didn't miss. It's gonna be more than weekends. It's gonna
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: be weak week, staying with me week week. I gotta
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: say nothing with you. I'm surprised you can say it.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: Put it on hold for weeks, like y'all tie got
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: all this pressure? Okay, did you touch the stomach and
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: then he rolled over the other way? Hey dog, Hey,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: do hate the same place for that? You you just
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: got too with the great sports segment. Enjoy your world series,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: win the astros pinning, and get you a littleterial doll
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: or something. Can't you be in a rubber stomach if
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: you want to get your damn hands off me? All right? Uh?
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: This one's from Raquel on Facebook. Raquel says, I've been
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: out my job for over five years, and the last
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: couple of years there have been a lot of changes,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: and I feel like all the pressure from my apartment
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: to perform falls on me. The stress has really been
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: getting to me lately. I now have m go ahead.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: I now have an opportunity to switch jobs to a
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: field that I've always thought I would enjoy. But I'd
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: be taking a significant pay cut. I've done the math,
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: and I'll still be able to pay my bills, but
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: I'll be saving a lot less. How do I decide
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: what would be the best decision. I'm not taking a
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: pay cut. That's not you never do. We're witnesses of that. Yes,
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: give me the pressure. I'm not taking pay cut. Okay,
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: But she said she'd enjoyed this job, she'd enjoyed this
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: job a lot, go and enjoy Yeah, well you can
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: stop enjoying some of the those stuff too. You know
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: she's gonna be able to join. Well, you ain't gonna
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: be gonna go shopping and as much, and you're gonna
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: be to eat as groceries. You donna cut back on groceries,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: get you an efficient. You had to get out that
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: two bad room you got and you ain't got no
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: more space all that, m So what's up? So how
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: does she make a decision on what's the best thing
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: that she should do? Because she sounds like she wants
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: to go to this new position, and she says she
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: can pay all her bills, but she just won't have
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: enough to save. She'll be saving right, Well, you ain't
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: gonna hand him all saving, gona take the new job,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: well save, don't say it with an ax food. Yeah
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: she really you. I just told you what I would do.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: I would stay with your job that paid the motion
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: deal with just pressure. You want to go where you
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: like to work, then't go on and go where you
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: like to work, and you're gonna be able to save less.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: If you want to be really successful in life, you
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: got to get comfortable being uncomfortable. It's uncomfortable. It's more pressure.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: It's all on you. That's what it is. When you
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: won't more, get more, it take more. Now what you
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: want me to say? So now you don't want to
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: all that, go get des ass job. You're gonna mess
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: around beating fried cook in a minute, ain't no pressure
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: back there. All you gotta do is listen for the dane,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: take them fries right about that all and hanging on
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: that hook, let him drain offen and put him in
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: the band. Saying that basket. So you're telling her to
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: stay where she is. I mean she could say and
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: said my answer shure, And I just want to be clear.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: I am clear as hale. All right, come, I am
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: going back and forth. We'll have more of the Steve
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: Hardy Morning to go right after this. You're listening to

- 1:15:35Speaker 1: nine billion dollars. Yeah, yeah, no one won it Saturday night.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: They take nine. Matter of fact, they can't take the
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: billion if they want to. I take the point nine. Well,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: none of them, not one. Oh oh yeah, you got
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: you get one to three. That's what the power ball
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: on it. But them other four five numbers ain't on that. Though.

- 1:16:26Speaker 1: I just I just know me. I want a billion dollars.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: A billion dollars. Yeah, a billion dollars. Oh my god,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: that's it. It's a rap. I'm gonna tell you right now.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: I'm not gonna change at all. But y'all because you're
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: used to it, well anyway, that ain't one. I ain't
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: using no billion if I get a billion dollars money
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: gonna change, but y'all win? Do you mean? Do you

- 1:17:37Speaker 1: my mouth since I was a baby. They do it
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: with so much ease to do. I don't know how
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: we're gonna get that chicken leg gripped up right, but
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: we're gonna have to figure it out. And no way
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: if I can get my toe up by my mouth. Now,
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: as soon as you see me in that position, get
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: me to the hospital immediately, all right? Thinking of the hospital.

- 1:21:31Speaker 1: she's getting molding for a hunter follows. I'm so time
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: at Missisippi Monica. Lord go over there and follow her.
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: Please give us some more followers. Do you have some
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: closing remarks? Well, I mean, there's crunch time. It's time
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: to go. We gotta vote. We gotta get there. This
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: is the day. You know, early voting is over in
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: a lot of places, but you know it's tomorrow's to day.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: We gotta show up. We gotta show up. We gotta
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: prove them wrong. Stop sitting on the sidelines, man, and
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: acting like you don't have a say so in this thing,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: because you do. Your voice is important, Your vote is important.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: Every single vote counts. It really does. Man. I'm telling y'all, man,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: you gotta get this thing right, because I'm telling you
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: Donald Trump maybe announcing that he's gonna run in twenty
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: twenty four. If you don't think that's harmful to this country,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: then you are just one of him, and you already
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: harmful to the country anyway. I really don't see how
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: to make a difference, because to vote for this man,
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: it's just like I mean, it's just one of the
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: most immoral people, openly immoral people that's ever been in
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: the White House. The White House has been filled with
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: immoral people, but I don't know of one so openly immoral.
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: So many charges leveled against him, so many accusations, and
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: then we're gonna let this happen. I don't think. So.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: We got a mere term coming up. Man, that's critical
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: in a lot of states. If you are in the
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: listening range of the Steve Harvey Morning Show, you are
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: in a critical state. You're in Texas, if you're in Mississippi,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: if you in Illinois, Chicago, Illinois, if you in Philly,
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: if you're in Milwaukee, if you're in Detroit, if you're
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: in the Carolinas, if you in La if you in Florida,
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: if you're in Georgia, if you're in Alabama, whatever you are,
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: Las Vegas, everywhere we that are, we are. There's the elections, man,
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: that's up that can change the way this country and
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: the way has ran and the way these policies are enforced. Listen, man,
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: this role versus Wade reversal. I can't even tell you
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: this is how dangerous versus Wade is you have the
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: right to carry a gun, but you force a woman
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: to carry a child, since two different carriers we're talking
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: about here now, Now, if you so pro life and
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: you're forcing women to carry a life, then how can
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: you let everybody carry a gun? If you so pro life,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: if you are such a pro life person, then all
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: these people, people who can walk in these schools, these synagogues,
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: these churches, these malls, these grocery stores and kill all
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: these people because they got access to all these weapons.
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: Where your pro life statement at now? Y'all y'all hypocritical? Man,
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: you're hypocritical. It don't make no sense. Oh but you
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: don't have to get a gun, it's what you're saying.
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: But you have to carry this child, no matter what
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: the case may be. Something ain't right here, man. That's
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: a minority. That's a minority controlling the minute majority. I
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: live in Atlanta. It's a big vote coming down. Stacy Abrams,
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: Raphael Warnock. Their jobs are up. They're in a position.
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: She can take over as the governor to become the
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: first African American woman who is a governor. And Raphael
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: Warnock continue the great work he's doing. He's up against
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: herschel Walker. How they managed to pull that off, man,
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: just shows me one thing. Man. They don't care about us,
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: They care about themselves. They have found the prize a
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: black person that would do their bidding and go against
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: another black person. Wow, man, this is incredible. I don't
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: know what other motivation we need to get to these polls,
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: but I'm telling y'all this goal time. This is not
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: the time to sit it out. Take some time to
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: go vote tomorrow. Your vote is significant and your vote matters.
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: We cannot let this happen. Thank you very much. See
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: you at the polls tomorrow. Keep pressing. Remember you are
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: important and you matter, and they have to count you
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: even if they won't. They keep counting us out, but
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: if we show up, they have to count us. Period.
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: That's the deal. Y'all. Have a great day, Enjoy your
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: day to day. Listen. Also talk to God, you know
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: what he'd love to hear from you today. And stay patient.
