Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome. It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson
- 0:05Speaker 1: with you as well, and we have got a pack
- 0:07Speaker 1: show for you, including some breaking news that deals with
- 0:11Speaker 1: the sentencing of Hunter Biden, plus a massive change in
- 0:15Speaker 1: narrative from the White House basically now admitting that okay, yes,
- 0:21Speaker 1: the President did get involved with the son's business dealings
- 0:24Speaker 1: and they were hoping that no one would notice this admission.
- 0:26Speaker 1: We noticed it. We're going to play that for you.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Plus a big win on the strategic patroleum reserves, which
- 0:32Speaker 1: is going to have a huge impact on this country. Senator,
- 0:35Speaker 1: let's first start though with this judge, break this down
- 0:39Speaker 1: because this scandal in Delaware on the eve of Hunter
- 0:42Speaker 1: Biden's plea deal. He's supposed to be in court at
- 0:44Speaker 1: nine o'clock and apparently there could be some people that
- 0:49Speaker 1: are sanctioned for misrepresenting to the court what they were
- 0:53Speaker 1: doing with Hunter Biden. Break all this down.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Well, we have massive breaking news that broke last night.
- 1:01Speaker 2: So this morning at nine am, Hunter Biden is scheduled
- 1:05Speaker 2: to appear in federal court and plead guilty to two
- 1:09Speaker 2: misdemeanor charges for failure to pay taxes in twenty seventeen
- 1:12Speaker 2: and twenty eighteen. He is also expected to avoid prosecution
- 1:17Speaker 2: on a separate felony gun possession charge of illegally possessing
- 1:21Speaker 2: a firearm as a gun user as a drug user.
- 1:25Speaker 2: All of that is scheduled to go down at nine
- 1:27Speaker 2: And it's a plea deal that is designed to be
- 1:29Speaker 2: a slap on the wrist so that Hunter serves no
- 1:32Speaker 2: jail time whatsoever, and that its real purpose, as we've discussed,
- 1:36Speaker 2: is to protect Joe Biden from any exposure to Hunter's influence,
- 1:45Speaker 2: selling and corruption. Well, last night a bombshell went off,
- 1:51Speaker 2: which is the US District Judge in Delaware, Mary Ellen Norieika,
- 1:55Speaker 2: issued an order and the order is directing Hunter Biden's
- 2:00Speaker 2: lawyers to show up at nine am this morning and
- 2:02Speaker 2: explain why they shouldn't be sanctioned for lying to the court.
- 2:07Speaker 2: And let me explain what happened here, because this is
- 2:08Speaker 2: a big damn deal and to be honest, I've never
- 2:10Speaker 2: seen anything remotely like it. So the plea hearing this morning,
- 2:16Speaker 2: Hunter is expected to come in and plead not guilty.
- 2:19Speaker 2: The judge could approve the plea deal today, say okay,
- 2:23Speaker 2: plea deal's done. Slap on the wrist, all done, it
- 2:25Speaker 2: could be over today. Well, the House of Representatives is
- 2:30Speaker 2: dismayed by that. They've seen the hearings on all of
- 2:32Speaker 2: the corruption, the hearing the evidence that we've discussed at
- 2:35Speaker 2: length on this podcast. And so the House of Representatives
- 2:38Speaker 2: filed an amicus brief with the court, laying out the
- 2:43Speaker 2: evidence against Hunter and Joe and the corruption and really
- 2:46Speaker 2: making the case that a slap on the wrist is
- 2:49Speaker 2: not in the interest of justice. That's pretty unusual. It's
- 2:52Speaker 2: not often that a criminal defendant has the House of
- 2:55Speaker 2: Representatives of the United States Congress file a brief opposing
- 2:59Speaker 2: their sweet hard deal. What happened next is extraordinary. Apparently,
- 3:06Speaker 2: Hunter Biden's lawyers picked up the phone and called the
- 3:09Speaker 2: Clerk's office of the Court and pretended to be the
- 3:14Speaker 2: lawyers for the House of Representatives. And Hunter Biden's lawyers
- 3:19Speaker 2: apparently said, hey, we're the lawyers for the House Representatives.
- 3:23Speaker 2: We filed this amicus brief with attachments. Could you withdraw
- 3:26Speaker 2: that please? We didn't mean to file that, and the
- 3:30Speaker 2: clerk's office apparently did so said okay, if you want
- 3:33Speaker 2: to withdraw that filing, we will. Well, it turns out
- 3:37Speaker 2: that at least what the court believes right now as
- 3:40Speaker 2: they were lying. And I want to read because late
- 3:42Speaker 2: last night the court issued a special order and it's
- 3:46Speaker 2: a short order. I'm going to read the order. It's
- 3:49Speaker 2: oral order. The Court is in receipt of the party's
- 3:53Speaker 2: letters regarding the motion for leave to file an amicus brief.
- 3:56Speaker 2: As an initial matter, defendant has not indicated what specific
- 3:58Speaker 2: information should be sealed, made any showing as required under
- 4:03Speaker 2: a particular case. In fact, defendant has not filed a
- 4:07Speaker 2: formal request with the court to seal anything. The Court
- 4:10Speaker 2: will temporarily place the documentuer seal intil the close of
- 4:12Speaker 2: business on July twenty sixth, to afford defendant the opportunity
- 4:16Speaker 2: to try to make the requisite showing. Should the defendant
- 4:19Speaker 2: fail to make that showing, the document will be unsealed
- 4:21Speaker 2: in its entirety. In addition, the Court has reviewed the
- 4:24Speaker 2: allegations in mister Katilla's letter that's the lawyer for the
- 4:27Speaker 2: House made to the Clerk's office regarding the amicus materials.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Mister Katilla asserts that an individual associated with the firm
- 4:37Speaker 2: representing defendant Hunter Biden called the Clerk's office pretending to
- 4:42Speaker 2: be associated with mister Katillia and requesting the amicus materials
- 4:47Speaker 2: be removed from the docket, which the clerk's office did.
- 4:51Speaker 2: The response from defendant's counsel on this issue was that quote,
- 4:55Speaker 2: as far as he was aware. The managing attorney from
- 4:58Speaker 2: Latham called the clerk's office to note that personal tax
- 5:01Speaker 2: information of the defendant had been filed in a non
- 5:03Speaker 2: redacted manner and to inquire regarding having the information sealed,
- 5:07Speaker 2: and that quote. The clerk took the filing down on
- 5:10Speaker 2: their own accord. Defendant's counsel also added that he hoped
- 5:14Speaker 2: mister Katila had quote an affidavit from the clerk in
- 5:17Speaker 2: support of his version of the events. The Court has
- 5:20Speaker 2: discussed the matter with relevant individuals in the clerk's office
- 5:23Speaker 2: that has been informed that the caller, Miss Jessica Bengals,
- 5:28Speaker 2: represented that she worked with mister Catilla, in other words,
- 5:32Speaker 2: the house's lawyer, and requested the amicus materials be taken
- 5:37Speaker 2: down because they contained sensitive grand jury, taxpayer and so
- 5:40Speaker 2: security information. Here's the critical language from the court's order
- 5:44Speaker 2: last night. It appears that the caller misrepresented her identity
- 5:51Speaker 2: and who she worked for in an attempt to improperly
- 5:56Speaker 2: convince the Clerk's office to remove the amicus material from
- 6:00Speaker 2: the docket. Therefore, it is hereby ordered that honor before
- 6:06Speaker 2: nine pm today on July twenty fifth, counsel for the
- 6:10Speaker 2: defendant shall show cause as to why sanctions should not
- 6:15Speaker 2: be considered for misrepresentations to the court. Now, Ben I
- 6:22Speaker 2: got to say, I've practiced law a lot of years,
- 6:25Speaker 2: just just about thirty nearly thirty years now. I don't
- 6:30Speaker 2: know another instance where a lawyer for one party calls
- 6:34Speaker 2: the court and pretends to be a lawyer for the
- 6:36Speaker 2: other party. Like that just doesn't happen. That's the kind
- 6:39Speaker 2: of thing.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Do you get disbarred for that? Minimum? And that I mean,
- 6:43Speaker 1: you ruin your career right if you do that, because
- 6:45Speaker 1: you're literally calling up and lying about what team you're
- 6:49Speaker 1: on in a court case. I would assume that's instant
- 6:53Speaker 1: and you're disbarred. You're never gonna practice law again. And
- 6:56Speaker 1: is there even the possibility of, like you get charge
- 6:58Speaker 1: of the crime for that potentially.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Look, a lawyer is an officer of the court. You
- 7:03Speaker 2: have an obligation of candor to the court. You have
- 7:05Speaker 2: an obligation of truthfulness to the court. A lawyer lies
- 7:10Speaker 2: to a judge at his or her peril. Now I
- 7:13Speaker 2: don't know what happened, and we're gonna have a hearing
- 7:16Speaker 2: at nine am this morning. I expect there's gonna be
- 7:18Speaker 2: some real fireworks. But the DOJ and Hunter Biden's lawyers
- 7:23Speaker 2: were hoping this would be a quiet, little plea hearing
- 7:26Speaker 2: where we got a plea agreement. Okay, all is good,
- 7:28Speaker 2: slapping the wrist, it's all over. Instead the judges saying,
- 7:34Speaker 2: tell me why I should not sanction Hunter Biden's lawyer
- 7:38Speaker 2: for lying to me and pretending to be the lawyer
- 7:42Speaker 2: for the House of Representatives. That's a big damn deal,
- 7:47Speaker 2: and this single handedly could scuttle the plea deal.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Now let's go to the just a normal case. Okay,
- 7:55Speaker 1: take hunter Byen out of it. Yeah, take take the
- 7:57Speaker 1: fact this is a sweetheart deal and it you can. Now,
- 8:00Speaker 1: I think it's very clear you would agree center. This
- 8:03Speaker 1: judge knows that this is a sweetheart deal. Would you
- 8:05Speaker 1: agree with that? At this point, there's been too much
- 8:07Speaker 1: information out there. There's been too much. It's been exposed
- 8:09Speaker 1: in the House.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Look, it's too early to say. Okay, we'll see what happens.
- 8:14Speaker 2: At the hearing today, we'll see what the judge says.
- 8:17Speaker 2: If I were a judge, I would not take this
- 8:20Speaker 2: plea deal. A judge doesn't have to take the plea deal.
- 8:22Speaker 2: A judge can can press back. It is clear the
- 8:26Speaker 2: Biden DOJ wants the plea deal taken because the plea
- 8:29Speaker 2: deal is designed to number one, make Hunter Biden the
- 8:34Speaker 2: fall guy, but do it in the way that there's
- 8:35Speaker 2: zero jail times, the most serious charges have gone away
- 8:38Speaker 2: and that's just a little slap on the wrist. But
- 8:40Speaker 2: number two, most critically, this is designed to protect Joe Biden.
- 8:46Speaker 2: If this plea deal gets thrown out.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Yeah, what happens next? That was the question I was
- 8:51Speaker 1: going to ask you, is if he throws out and
- 8:53Speaker 1: says no, I don't accept this, then what happens next
- 8:56Speaker 1: in this case? Does that mean that all the other
- 8:58Speaker 1: things that they didn't have to deal with now all
- 9:01Speaker 1: of a sudden become a reality in.
- 9:03Speaker 2: This No, what would happen if the plea deal is
- 9:05Speaker 2: thrown out? So Hunter can withdraw his guilty plea because
- 9:09Speaker 2: the guilty plea is based on a plea deal, and
- 9:12Speaker 2: the judge could say, try your case. You have brought
- 9:15Speaker 2: charges against Hunter Biden. We want to see you try
- 9:17Speaker 2: your case, and we're going to impanel a jury and
- 9:21Speaker 2: have a trial. But then at the end of it,
- 9:23Speaker 2: the judge can say, I'm going to sentence the defendant
- 9:27Speaker 2: if he's found guilty that I'm not going to take
- 9:29Speaker 2: the plea deal that I've determined this plea deal is
- 9:31Speaker 2: not in the interest of justice. If the judge determines
- 9:36Speaker 2: that Hunter Biden's lawyers have lied to the Court of misrepresented,
- 9:40Speaker 2: and this order says the judge thinks they have. Now
- 9:43Speaker 2: the judge may be mistaken. But what the order says
- 9:46Speaker 2: is she went and asked the clerk's office, Hey, what
- 9:50Speaker 2: did the lawyer who called you say? And according to
- 9:53Speaker 2: the order she entered, that's what made her enter the
- 9:57Speaker 2: order to show cause why Hunter Biden's lawyer should not
- 10:00Speaker 2: be sanctioned. I have, in nearly thirty years of practicing law,
- 10:05Speaker 2: never seen an order like this. And I got to say,
- 10:09Speaker 2: if you're Hunter Biden's lawyers right now, you are freaking out.
- 10:13Speaker 2: And if you're the Biden DOJ desperately wanting to protect
- 10:17Speaker 2: the big guy, you're freaking out. This is a major development.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Is it just one lawyer that would be sanctioned the
- 10:24Speaker 1: one that made the phone call. Or is there a
- 10:26Speaker 1: good chance that all the lawyers on the case that
- 10:28Speaker 1: knew that this happened. Are they going to be held
- 10:32Speaker 1: accountable for this basically in essence, because it would be
- 10:36Speaker 1: a strategy that they would have done as a legal team.
- 10:39Speaker 2: It depends on what the facts demonstrate. The lawyer who's
- 10:42Speaker 2: most directly on the hook is the lawyer who is
- 10:44Speaker 2: accused of lye to the court. And each lawyer is
- 10:47Speaker 2: an officer of the court, and you have an ethical
- 10:50Speaker 2: obligation to the court, and so that lawyer is the
- 10:52Speaker 2: one most directly at risk. But if it turns out
- 10:55Speaker 2: other lawyers on Hunter Biden's defense team knew about it,
- 11:00Speaker 2: directed her to do this, We're part of the decision
- 11:02Speaker 2: to do this, they could all be sanctioned. It depends
- 11:04Speaker 2: on what the facts are. I don't know what the
- 11:06Speaker 2: facts are. I'm just reading an order that is a
- 11:10Speaker 2: holy crap order.
- 11:11Speaker 1: I want to tell you about our friends of Patriot
- 11:13Speaker 1: Mobile real quick. If you are sick and tired of
- 11:15Speaker 1: giving your money to woke companies that are fighting against
- 11:18Speaker 1: your values, there is now an option that you've never
- 11:21Speaker 1: had before when it comes to your cell phone. For years,
- 11:25Speaker 1: big mobile companies have actually been dumping millions and millions
- 11:28Speaker 1: of dollars into leftist causes, and you had to deal
- 11:31Speaker 1: with that because there wasn't another option. Now there is
- 11:34Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile, America's only Christian conservative wireless provider. Now they
- 11:40Speaker 1: offer you dependable nationwide coverage on all three major networks,
- 11:44Speaker 1: so you do not have to worry about coverage issues.
- 11:47Speaker 1: You also get the best possible service within your area.
- 11:51Speaker 1: They make sure of that, and you're getting rid of
- 11:54Speaker 1: the woke propaganda push by those big mobile companies. When
- 11:58Speaker 1: you switch to Patriot, not only are you going to
- 12:01Speaker 1: get a great buy, you're gonna get to many times
- 12:04Speaker 1: save money over what you're paying right now. But you're
- 12:07Speaker 1: supporting free speech and religious freedom. You're supporting the sanctity
- 12:11Speaker 1: of life, the Second Amendment, our military, our veterans, our
- 12:14Speaker 1: first responders. Every time you pay your bill, they take
- 12:17Speaker 1: a portion of your bill every month and no extra
- 12:19Speaker 1: charge to you and give it back to these causes.
- 12:23Speaker 1: So if you're paying a cell phone bill, whether it's
- 12:26Speaker 1: for you, your family, a business, a small business, call
- 12:30Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile and make the switch. The number eight seven
- 12:34Speaker 1: eight Patriot. That's eight seven eight Patriot or online at
- 12:38Speaker 1: patriotmobile dot com, slash ferguson Patriot mobile dot com, slash Verdict. Senator,
- 12:44Speaker 1: I want to ask you about the narrative that's also
- 12:47Speaker 1: changing at the White House. I've not actually heard anyone
- 12:51Speaker 1: talking about this. You and I talked about this earlier,
- 12:54Speaker 1: and this was a very big change in the narrative
- 12:57Speaker 1: at the White House. So the White House has said
- 13:00Speaker 1: for a long time, over and over and over again.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Joe Biden said, over and over and over again, I've
- 13:05Speaker 1: never talked to my son or any of the family
- 13:08Speaker 1: members of Biden family members about any of these business dealings.
- 13:11Speaker 1: He said that he said during the campaign. Now the
- 13:14Speaker 1: White House has changed that narrative. Listen carefully, you'll probably
- 13:19Speaker 1: pick it up, and if not, we'll play it a
- 13:21Speaker 1: second time for you.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Chairman James Comerce today says that the oversight the Committee
- 13:26Speaker 3: excuse me, has evidence that the President in the past
- 13:29Speaker 3: communicated directly with foreign business associates of the Sun Hunter
- 13:33Speaker 3: Biden many times. Careers of the White House and the
- 13:37Speaker 3: President still stand behind his comment that he's never been
- 13:40Speaker 3: involved and has never even spoken to his son about his.
- 13:43Speaker 4: So I've been asked this question a million times. The
- 13:46Speaker 4: answer is not going to change. The answer remains the same.
- 13:48Speaker 4: The president was never in business with his son. I
- 13:51Speaker 4: just don't have anything.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Else to add.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Senator, I know you heard it. The narrative's now changed.
- 13:56Speaker 1: It used to be I never talked about business with
- 13:58Speaker 1: my family. Now it is quote the president was never
- 14:03Speaker 1: in business with his son, quote unquote.
- 14:08Speaker 2: So Ben, this is a big deal. You are right
- 14:11Speaker 2: that Joe Biden has said over and over and over again,
- 14:14Speaker 2: he never talked with Hunter Biden about his business. He
- 14:16Speaker 2: never talked with Hunter Biden about his business. The White
- 14:18Speaker 2: House has said Joe Biden never talked with Hudder Biden
- 14:21Speaker 2: about his business. That was their line. They said it repeatedly.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Here's the problem. It is now more and more clear
- 14:29Speaker 2: that Joe Biden talked with Hunter Biden and with Hunter
- 14:32Speaker 2: Biden's business associates about his businesses a lot. So for example,
- 14:37Speaker 2: Miranda Devine, who's done just fantastic reporting on this entire
- 14:41Speaker 2: scandal for The New York Post, she wrote two days
- 14:44Speaker 2: ago a story that the headline is Hunter Biden put
- 14:48Speaker 2: then VP Dad Joe on the phone with business associates
- 14:52Speaker 2: at least two dozen times. Ex partner Devin Archer to testify,
- 14:59Speaker 2: and Archer, who was Hunter Biden's former best friend, he
- 15:03Speaker 2: was his business partner. They were both on the board
- 15:04Speaker 2: of Barisma together. Apparently Devon Archer is going to testify
- 15:09Speaker 2: according to the reporting the New York Post, that Hunter
- 15:12Speaker 2: Biden would dialu his father, then Vice president, Joe Biden
- 15:15Speaker 2: on speakerphone in the meetings with his overseas business partners.
- 15:18Speaker 2: According to testimony expected before Congress this week from Devon Archer,
- 15:25Speaker 2: Here's what James Comer said. We are looking forward very
- 15:28Speaker 2: much to hearing from Devon Archer about all the times
- 15:30Speaker 2: he has witnessed Joe Biden meeting with Hunter Biden's overseas
- 15:33Speaker 2: business partners when he was vice president, including on speakerphone.
- 15:37Speaker 2: One such meeting was in Dubai late in the evening
- 15:39Speaker 2: of Friday, December fourth, twenty fifteen, after a board meeting
- 15:42Speaker 2: of the Ukrainian energy company Barisma, which was paying Hunter
- 15:45Speaker 2: eighty three thousand dollars a month as director. Archer, who
- 15:49Speaker 2: was also director, is expected to testify that after dinner
- 15:53Speaker 2: with Barisa board at the Bergall Arab hotel. He and
- 15:58Speaker 2: Hunter traveled six miles north to the Forest Seasons Resort
- 16:00Speaker 2: Dubai at Juriah Beach to have drinks with Hunter's friends.
- 16:06Speaker 2: While they were sitting outside at the bar, Vadim Puzzharski,
- 16:10Speaker 2: a senior Borisma executive, phone to ask where they were
- 16:13Speaker 2: because Borisma's owner Mikoleos Lootchevsky, who we talked about a
- 16:16Speaker 2: lot on Monday's Pod, needed to speak to Hunter urgently.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Soon afterwards, the two Ukrainians joined Hunter and Archer at
- 16:24Speaker 2: the Four Seasons bar, and Posarski asked, Hunter, can you
- 16:29Speaker 2: ring your dad? At the time, it was early afternoon
- 16:32Speaker 2: Friday in Washington, DC. Hunter then called his father, put
- 16:36Speaker 2: him on speaker, place the phone on the table, and
- 16:39Speaker 2: introduced the Ukrainians to Joe Biden by names as Nikolai
- 16:43Speaker 2: and Vadam. He also said words to the effect that
- 16:47Speaker 2: the Barisma bigwigs need our support. Joe Biden greeted the Ukrainians,
- 16:52Speaker 2: but spoke only in vague pleasantries. Archer is expected to testify.
- 16:57Speaker 2: They will note in context that three days after the
- 17:00Speaker 2: speakerphone call, Joe Biden was due to fly to Kiev
- 17:05Speaker 2: to address the Ukrainian Parliament. Ten weeks before the call,
- 17:11Speaker 2: on September twenty fourth, twenty fifteen, the US ambassador had
- 17:14Speaker 2: given a speech about corruption in Ukraine in which he
- 17:18Speaker 2: targeted Lotchevsky by name. But by then the Ukrainian prosecutor general,
- 17:23Speaker 2: that's Victor Chokin, who we talked about again at length
- 17:26Speaker 2: on Monday's podcast that if you didn't listen to Monday's podcast,
- 17:29Speaker 2: go back and listen to it. It's incredibly important what
- 17:31Speaker 2: the FD ten twenty three said. But Ukrainian Prosecutor General
- 17:35Speaker 2: Victor Schokin was investigating Barisma for corruption, and a month
- 17:40Speaker 2: later Chokin was fired right after Joe Biden threatened to
- 17:44Speaker 2: withhold one billion dollars in usaid to Ukraine. So here's
- 17:50Speaker 2: the problem, Ben, Joe Biden has said repeatedly, I didn't
- 17:54Speaker 2: talk to Hunter about his business. I didn't talk to
- 17:56Speaker 2: Hunter about his business. The White House has said that,
- 17:59Speaker 2: And now you've got Hunter's business partners saying, oh yeah,
- 18:03Speaker 2: Joe Biden talked to our business partners all the time.
- 18:07Speaker 2: That's a huge problem. And so I want you to
- 18:10Speaker 2: play two things. Number one, I want us to listen
- 18:15Speaker 2: to what the old White House message was which is
- 18:19Speaker 2: I didn't talk to Hunter's business partners. Take a listen, it's.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Your vice president.
- 18:24Speaker 2: How many times have you ever spoken to your son
- 18:27Speaker 2: about his overseas business dealings.
- 18:29Speaker 5: I've never spoken my son about his overseas pretty.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Sooners, now, that was in twenty nineteen, Senator, that was
- 18:34Speaker 1: in Des Moines, Iowa, when he was running for president.
- 18:38Speaker 1: And he's saying, I've never I never talked about it ever.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Now they're saying, okay, Mane, we did, but we were
- 18:43Speaker 1: never officially in business together.
- 18:46Speaker 2: So he said there flat out on the campaign trail
- 18:49Speaker 2: for president. This is not a long time ago. This
- 18:52Speaker 2: is while he's running for president. He says, I have
- 18:54Speaker 2: never spoken to my son about his overseas business deals. Now,
- 18:58Speaker 2: his problem is, Devin Archers supposed to say that he's
- 19:01Speaker 2: spoken at least two dozen times. So I want you
- 19:05Speaker 2: to play again.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Hold on, let me let me also add this real quick,
- 19:08Speaker 1: because this is where I just I have to do
- 19:10Speaker 1: this because it makes me laugh. It's not just that
- 19:13Speaker 1: first time I forgot about this and I just pulled it.
- 19:16Speaker 1: We put together a montage of Biden answering this question
- 19:21Speaker 1: over and over again, which the White House has just done, done,
- 19:23Speaker 1: now good by their new admission. Here's the entire montage,
- 19:27Speaker 1: starting back in twenty nineteen.
- 19:29Speaker 4: And how many times have you ever spoken to your
- 19:32Speaker 4: son about his overseas business dealings.
- 19:34Speaker 5: I've never spoken my son about his overseas be as sooners.
- 19:37Speaker 5: I have never discussed with my son, or my brother
- 19:41Speaker 5: or anyone else and being having to do with their businesses, period.
- 19:45Speaker 5: And what I will do is the same thing we
- 19:47Speaker 5: did in our administration. It'll be an absolute wall between
- 19:52Speaker 5: personal and private and the government.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Do you stand by your statement that you did not
- 19:57Speaker 2: discuss any of your son's overseas business des large?
- 20:00Speaker 5: Stand by that student.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Do you think it was wrong for him to take
- 20:03Speaker 1: that position knowing that it was really because that company
- 20:08Speaker 1: wanted access to you. Well, that's not true.
- 20:10Speaker 5: You're saying things you do not know what you're talking about.
- 20:13Speaker 5: No one said that.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Who said that?
- 20:15Speaker 1: I mean, that's a lot of time. Just said it, senator,
- 20:18Speaker 1: and now you're undoing it at the White House from
- 20:20Speaker 1: the podium.
- 20:20Speaker 2: So his answer is, I've never talked to Hunter. I've
- 20:23Speaker 2: never talked to Hunter. I've never talked to his business associates.
- 20:25Speaker 2: And I want you to play again yesterday's answer because
- 20:29Speaker 2: the the beautiful thing is Kareem John Pierre says, I'm
- 20:32Speaker 2: going to give you the exact same answer I've given before,
- 20:34Speaker 2: and then she says a totally different answer. So play
- 20:37Speaker 2: that once again, because this is a massive shift, because
- 20:41Speaker 2: the White House realizes, oh crap, Joe Biden's been caught
- 20:45Speaker 2: in a massive lie that implicates him in foreign corruption.
- 20:50Speaker 2: So listen to kareein. John Pierre's trying to be very
- 20:53Speaker 2: clever and shift their answer.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Chairman James Comer today says at the Oversight Committee, because
- 21:00Speaker 3: has evidence that the President in the past communicated directly
- 21:04Speaker 3: with foreign business associates of the Sun Hunter Biden many
- 21:07Speaker 3: times curios of the White House, and the President still
- 21:11Speaker 3: stand behind his comment that he's never been involved and
- 21:14Speaker 3: has never even spoken to his son about his.
- 21:17Speaker 4: So I've been asked this question a million times. The
- 21:19Speaker 4: answer is not going to change. The answer remains the same.
- 21:22Speaker 4: The President was never in business with his son. I
- 21:24Speaker 4: just don't have anything else to.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Add there it is, So the ANSWER's not going to change.
- 21:29Speaker 2: So if the ANSWER's not going to change, you would
- 21:31Speaker 2: expect the President's never spoken to his son about his
- 21:33Speaker 2: business deals. The President's never spoken to his business associates
- 21:36Speaker 2: about his business deals. But she doesn't say that. She
- 21:38Speaker 2: says the president was never in business with his sons.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Now let me show you it gets even worse. There's
- 21:45Speaker 2: a subsequent article came out in The Federalist that is
- 21:48Speaker 2: entitled Joe Biden allegedly interacted with sons clients more than
- 21:51Speaker 2: two hundred times. So you've got the story from the
- 21:57Speaker 2: New York Post from Miranda to that Biden spoke with
- 22:03Speaker 2: foreign businessmen and potential investors for Hunter at least twenty
- 22:06Speaker 2: four times. But the Federalist reports that there are more
- 22:09Speaker 2: than one hundred and eighty other episodes where the president
- 22:14Speaker 2: interacted with his son's business partners. So, for example, then
- 22:19Speaker 2: President Joe Biden reportedly met with Ukrainian, Russian and Kazakhstan
- 22:22Speaker 2: business partners at Cafe Milatta, which is a really shishi
- 22:26Speaker 2: restaurant in Washington, d C. Vadim Pushharski, an executive at Barisma,
- 22:33Speaker 2: thanked Hunter in writing for the introduction to his father.
- 22:37Speaker 2: So here's an email that Pojarski wrote, quote, Dear Hunter,
- 22:44Speaker 2: thank you for inviting me to DC and giving me
- 22:48Speaker 2: an opportunity to meet your father and spend some time together. Now,
- 22:56Speaker 2: by the way, Joe Biden says, no, never talk to
- 22:58Speaker 2: my son about business. Post Narski, the Ukrainian Barisa official, says, hey,
- 23:02Speaker 2: thanks for introducing me to your dad. Give me the
- 23:04Speaker 2: opportunity to meet your father. I mean it is stunning.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Visitor's logs show that Hunter Biden's business associates visited the
- 23:18Speaker 2: White House. How many times do you think Hunter Biden's
- 23:20Speaker 2: business associates visited the White House while Joe Biden was
- 23:23Speaker 2: Vice President?
- 23:24Speaker 1: If you count them all up there, it's countless. I mean,
- 23:26Speaker 1: it's not one or two times, and that many of
- 23:29Speaker 1: the people got to go like a dozen or more
- 23:31Speaker 1: times while he was the vice president.
- 23:34Speaker 2: So according to Fox News, it's at least eighty times.
- 23:37Speaker 1: There you go.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Hunter Biden's diary shows more than one hundred events at
- 23:44Speaker 2: the Vice President's resident while Joe Biden was living at
- 23:47Speaker 2: the Naval Observatory. Photographs from the same day as one
- 23:51Speaker 2: meeting on the calendar November nineteenth, twenty fifteen, features two
- 23:56Speaker 2: Mexican billionaires, Carlos Slim and Miguel Alaman Velasco and Hunter
- 24:03Speaker 2: spent years leveraging the White House to pursue business deals
- 24:07Speaker 2: with Slim this pattern. Listen. At this point, it is
- 24:13Speaker 2: becoming almost impossible to maintain that Hunter Biden was doing
- 24:19Speaker 2: anything other than selling not only access to Daddy, but
- 24:23Speaker 2: favors from Daddy for millions of dollars. And you want
- 24:28Speaker 2: proof of that. Here's a simple question. Why did the
- 24:33Speaker 2: White House change their story? Kareem John Pierre said, I'm
- 24:37Speaker 2: gonna give you the exact same answer I've given before, and
- 24:39Speaker 2: then she gave a totally different answer. She'd said, here's
- 24:41Speaker 2: the exact same answer. Joe Biden's never spoken to Hunter
- 24:43Speaker 2: about his business dealings, never spoken to his business associates.
- 24:46Speaker 2: That would be the same answer. She didn't do that,
- 24:48Speaker 2: she says, Oh, Joe Biden's never been in business with
- 24:52Speaker 2: his son. They realize they're in hot water. They are
- 24:56Speaker 2: backtracking mightily. And you know what, I'm gonna make a prediction.
- 25:00Speaker 1: I love it when you do this, by the way,
- 25:01Speaker 1: because it's always good.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Not a single corporate media outlet will report on this
- 25:07Speaker 2: massive shift. ABC is not going to report on it,
- 25:09Speaker 2: CBS is not going to report on it, NBC is
- 25:11Speaker 2: not going to report on it. CNN's not going to
- 25:13Speaker 2: report on it. MSNBC is not going to report on it.
- 25:16Speaker 2: The Washington Post is not going to report on it.
- 25:18Speaker 2: The New York Times is not going to report on it.
- 25:20Speaker 2: They are all covering up for Joe Biden, and I
- 25:23Speaker 2: hope I'm wrong. You know what if if by ten
- 25:26Speaker 2: thirty today one of them is so shame they say,
- 25:31Speaker 2: holy crap, I'm actually going to be a reporter and
- 25:33Speaker 2: report on the fact, just like in Watergate, when when
- 25:37Speaker 2: the story starts changing, that's news. Any real journalist will
- 25:41Speaker 2: report on that. We'll see if anybody does today.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Yeah, make sure you share this podcast as always on
- 25:46Speaker 1: this story, especially because I think we are are the
- 25:49Speaker 1: only ones at this point center that A are willing
- 25:52Speaker 1: to talk about it. I'm sure others noticed it, but
- 25:55Speaker 1: it's been complete crickets since this massive you know, narrative
- 26:00Speaker 1: from the White House on Joe Biden's involvement in essence
- 26:03Speaker 1: saying yes, he was involved with his son's business stealings,
- 26:05Speaker 1: but they were quote never business partners. This, on top
- 26:10Speaker 1: of what's happening in court today, is going to be
- 26:13Speaker 1: very interesting. Let me tell you real quick about our
- 26:15Speaker 1: friends of Augusta Precious Metals If you are doing everything

- 27:28Speaker 1: pay your fees for up to ten years. That's Augusta
- 27:32Speaker 1: Precious Medals dot Com Center. Lastly, there's also another big
- 27:36Speaker 1: issue hasn't gotten a lot of press, and it should.
- 27:40Speaker 1: It's a big win for not only the people in Texas,
- 27:44Speaker 1: but a big win when it comes the issue of
- 27:46Speaker 1: national security. And it's something that you let on with
- 27:50Speaker 1: a strategic oil reserves, the petroleum reserves that have been
- 27:54Speaker 1: rated by this administration to artificially drop the price of
- 27:58Speaker 1: gas before the midterm elections, and they don't seem to
- 28:01Speaker 1: be wanting to put oil back in our strategical reserves
- 28:05Speaker 1: as well. That is a national security issue. But you
- 28:08Speaker 1: also did some other things tell us about this victory.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Well, that's exactly right. The strategic petroleum Reserve was established
- 28:15Speaker 2: to protect our national security and our energy security, that
- 28:18Speaker 2: if we get in a time of warfare, if we
- 28:19Speaker 2: get at a time of crisis, that we have oil
- 28:22Speaker 2: we could rely on that we won't have our economy
- 28:24Speaker 2: grind to a halt. And it's there for emergencies. It's
- 28:27Speaker 2: not there to be a slush fund for Democrat presidents
- 28:30Speaker 2: to try to cover their rear end an election. Well,
- 28:33Speaker 2: Joe Biden last year sold one hundred and eighty million
- 28:39Speaker 2: barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserves. And the
- 28:42Speaker 2: reason is he was trying to drive down gasoline prices
- 28:45Speaker 2: right before the election. Not because he wants prices low,
- 28:48Speaker 2: mind you, Biden wants prices higher and higher and higher.
- 28:50Speaker 2: He just wants them to dip right before an election,
- 28:53Speaker 2: so he thinks the voters won't notice that. Now, the
- 28:56Speaker 2: result of those sales is it pushed the levels in
- 29:00Speaker 2: the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to the lowest they've ever been
- 29:04Speaker 2: in forty years. And last July, as part of selling
- 29:11Speaker 2: thirty nine million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, the
- 29:14Speaker 2: Biden administration sold one million barrels to unipec America, which
- 29:20Speaker 2: is a subsidiary of China's Sinopek. And I will point
- 29:24Speaker 2: out also that Hudter Biden, our friend who knows how
- 29:29Speaker 2: to monetize Daddy, has done business with the Chinese entities
- 29:34Speaker 2: that are profiting off of Daddy's sales of oil to
- 29:39Speaker 2: the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. It is corrupt. It's also stupid
- 29:43Speaker 2: that we would take our oil there to keep our
- 29:47Speaker 2: economy our national security safe and sell it to China,
- 29:50Speaker 2: our enemy. So I introduced an amendment to ban the
- 29:55Speaker 2: United States government to ban the Biden administration from selling
- 29:58Speaker 2: oil from the Strategic Petrol In Reserve to China, to Russia,
- 30:04Speaker 2: to Iran, or to North Korea. Basic principle, let's not
- 30:09Speaker 2: sell our oil that's here to keep us safe to
- 30:12Speaker 2: our enemies that are not there.
- 30:13Speaker 1: To keep us safe.
- 30:15Speaker 2: We forced to vote in the Senate last week. This
- 30:19Speaker 2: was an amendment that was authored by me and Joe Manchin,
- 30:22Speaker 2: so it was bipartisan. And actually, you know what the
- 30:25Speaker 2: lineup was on the amendment. What do you think there were?
- 30:27Speaker 2: There were two other senators that were the lead sponsors.
- 30:29Speaker 1: Take a guess. Oh gosh, I'm trying to think here
- 30:32Speaker 1: it would be you said Joe Manchin. I'm gonna laugh.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Can I throw out a curveball? Yeah?
- 30:38Speaker 2: Mitt Romney, No, but that'd be a good guess. Mitt
- 30:41Speaker 2: voted for it.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, I was trying to think, you're stump
- 30:44Speaker 1: at me here. I was like, all right, I gotta
- 30:46Speaker 1: go with a really good name here.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Okay, So I'll give you even better than that. So
- 30:50Speaker 2: number one we had Jony Ernst, which is not shocking.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Jony's a good friend. We do a lot together and
- 30:54Speaker 2: John Fetterman. So this was cruise mansion, Ernst Fetterman.
- 30:59Speaker 1: That's interesting. That's an interesting dinner right there. Y'all should
- 31:03Speaker 1: do that.
- 31:04Speaker 2: So we had a vote on it. Do you know
- 31:06Speaker 2: what the vote was?
- 31:07Speaker 1: What was it?
- 31:08Speaker 2: Eighty five to fourteen. So we didn't just win, we
- 31:13Speaker 2: won by a massive margin, eighty five to fourteen. And
- 31:17Speaker 2: so that's now part of the National Defense Authorization Act.
- 31:21Speaker 2: When this bill passes into law, which I believe it's
- 31:23Speaker 2: going to the Biden administration, will no longer be able
- 31:27Speaker 2: to sell oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to China,
- 31:31Speaker 2: or to Russia, or to North Korea or to Iran. Now,
- 31:35Speaker 2: fourteen people voted no. The lead Democrat who opposed me
- 31:38Speaker 2: is Chris Murphy, very very liberal senator from Connecticut.
- 31:41Speaker 1: And what's the reason for not just him, but the
- 31:43Speaker 1: other fourteen to oppose this?
- 31:46Speaker 2: Well, let me give you their own reasoning. So in
- 31:48Speaker 2: the last Congress, I went to the Senate floor and
- 31:50Speaker 2: I tried to pass this by unanimous consent. And one
- 31:52Speaker 2: of the ways you get things passed in the Senate
- 31:55Speaker 2: is you can pass it by unanimous consent, where you
- 31:57Speaker 2: stand up and if nobody objects it passes, and a
- 31:59Speaker 2: lot of stuff gets pass that way. So I went
- 32:01Speaker 2: to the Senate floor. I said, look, this is basic
- 32:03Speaker 2: common sense. No one should object. Let's pass this. Chris
- 32:06Speaker 2: Murphy from Connecticut came and objected. And one of the
- 32:10Speaker 2: things I argued is I said, look, there's a war
- 32:12Speaker 2: waging in Ukraine right now. We should not be selling
- 32:16Speaker 2: oil to our enemies. If anything, we should be selling
- 32:19Speaker 2: to our friends and not enriching our enemies. Chris Murphy
- 32:23Speaker 2: countered with Democrat legislation that would prohibit all sales of
- 32:28Speaker 2: oil and gas, not just from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve,
- 32:31Speaker 2: but from any private entity in the United States to
- 32:34Speaker 2: any foreign nation. And the two of us had a
- 32:38Speaker 2: debate on the Senate floor where I said, wait a second,
- 32:40Speaker 2: I'm standing up saying America should not send oil to
- 32:44Speaker 2: our enemies.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:48Speaker 2: The Democrats are countering with we shouldn't sell oil to
- 32:53Speaker 2: our friends. We should tell our friends, our allies, no,
- 32:57Speaker 2: you can't have any of our oil, and we should
- 33:00Speaker 2: our allies. We should force Europe. Sorry, you got to
- 33:03Speaker 2: buy from Russia because the idiot Democrats in Washington don't
- 33:08Speaker 2: want to sell you Americant oil. So go put money
- 33:10Speaker 2: in Putin's coffers. It was truly insane, and yet Chris
- 33:14Speaker 2: Murphy doubled down. But I got to say, when we
- 33:16Speaker 2: came to a vote, eighty five fourteen is a pretty
- 33:19Speaker 2: good margin.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a big margin. And it's also really an issue,
- 33:23Speaker 1: as you just described, of national security. Yes, and this
- 33:27Speaker 1: when people that don't understand a national security aspect of this.
- 33:31Speaker 1: If we sell our oil to our adversaries and we
- 33:36Speaker 1: get well on our stategical reserves, that's a double whammy
- 33:40Speaker 1: from us from a national security standpoint.
- 33:43Speaker 2: No, that's exactly right. And China is in the middle
- 33:46Speaker 2: of a massing, enormous reservoir of oil precisely because they
- 33:52Speaker 2: want to be in a strong national security position. So
- 33:56Speaker 2: when the Biden administration is selling oil to China, they
- 33:59Speaker 2: are weakening America and helping China. Which is why the
- 34:02Speaker 2: Senate overwhelmingly says stop doing that. And I got to
- 34:06Speaker 2: say it says a lot that Senate Democrats voted to
- 34:08Speaker 2: say Joe Biden stopped doing that.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Yeah, and that shouldn't be very controversial at all. A
- 34:15Speaker 1: big win on this one. Congratulations on the leadership also
- 34:18Speaker 1: at being bipartisan and It's also amazing that fourteen people
- 34:21Speaker 1: would vote against this, but welcome to these strange times
- 34:24Speaker 1: in Washington, d C. Senator. One last thing, I just
- 34:26Speaker 1: want to tell everybody about this the first time we've
