- 0:18Speaker 1: Center.
- 0:18Speaker 2: As we start, I rarely get to give you a
- 0:21Speaker 2: hard time, so we're just gonna start with that you
- 0:23Speaker 2: are now officially on TikTok, and I just love the
- 0:27Speaker 2: number of followers that you have because I don't get
- 0:29Speaker 2: to give you a hard time. But it's very low, Center,
- 0:32Speaker 2: like extremely low. Forget the fact we just started the page.
- 0:35Speaker 1: I just want to say hello.
- 0:36Speaker 2: It is so if you want to like actually be
- 0:38Speaker 2: seen when you follow this Center Cruise, like you could
- 0:40Speaker 2: be the first one, like second, one, third one.
- 0:43Speaker 1: You could actually see their name, like it could actually
- 0:45Speaker 1: be there.
- 0:46Speaker 3: It is terrifying, it is. It is pitiful. So so
- 0:49Speaker 3: we just opened a TikTok account two days ago. I
- 0:53Speaker 3: am at a measly two thousand followers, which which is
- 0:58Speaker 3: which is which is? Look, it's two days into it.
- 1:01Speaker 3: But you know I got to say. My teenage daughters
- 1:04Speaker 3: have already told me I'm not nearly cool enough to
- 1:06Speaker 3: be on TikTok. I will not be doing teenage dance moves,
- 1:10Speaker 3: although I will neither confirm nor deny. I may have
- 1:13Speaker 3: done them at their requests at home, but those videos
- 1:16Speaker 3: are suppressed forever.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Well, we're also trying to bribe them for said videos
- 1:20Speaker 2: so we can put them on TikTok.
- 1:22Speaker 1: There's a full court press from the staff.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Well, look, I have deliberately stayed off TikTok because when
- 1:27Speaker 3: the Chinese communists controlled it, I didn't want to be
- 1:31Speaker 3: subject to their surveillance or propaganda. But because President Trump
- 1:37Speaker 3: got the deal through and moved them to American ownership
- 1:41Speaker 3: and control, we've opened up yet a TikTok account. So
- 1:45Speaker 3: now we're communicat on Twitter, on Facebook, on Instagram.
- 1:49Speaker 2: And you are going to dance for Mardi Gras, though
- 1:51Speaker 2: I was told that's like one of the things, like
- 1:52Speaker 2: certain holidays, you'll do things right.
- 1:54Speaker 1: That's ben.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Let me be clear, no matter how many beads you
- 1:58Speaker 3: give me the answers, No.
- 2:00Speaker 2: No matter how many beads at tc GET Center, Cruise
- 2:03Speaker 2: gets that's it.
- 2:04Speaker 1: I like that.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Now we're gonna I'm gonna test you here. Do you
- 2:08Speaker 2: know what your handle is? Right when you set it up?
- 2:10Speaker 3: Do you know that's Ted Ted Cruz.
- 2:13Speaker 4: This?
- 2:14Speaker 2: Oh wow, I'm shocked no one took that from you.
- 2:15Speaker 2: I thought the Chinese would have registered that years ago. Okay,
- 2:18Speaker 2: so it's just at It's not at Ted Cruz America,
- 2:20Speaker 2: Ted Cruz Flying Eagle.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I thought we were gonna have to get creative there.
- 2:24Speaker 3: I like Ted Cruz SA same thing my Twitter handle is,
- 2:26Speaker 3: which is Ted Cruz.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I like it.
- 2:28Speaker 2: So there you go, at Ted Cruz on TikTok. You
- 2:31Speaker 2: can be one of the first ones to get on here.
- 2:33Speaker 4: Now.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Now Twitter, we're north of ten million between the two accounts,
- 2:36Speaker 3: so but but we're just a two thousand on TikTok.
- 2:39Speaker 3: So we got some work to do.
- 2:40Speaker 1: It's just just north of ten million. I'm glad. I
- 2:42Speaker 1: love how that was.
- 2:43Speaker 4: That.
- 2:43Speaker 2: That is what you call it congressional flex there, That's
- 2:46Speaker 2: exactly what that was. Yeah, I promise I promised the
- 2:49Speaker 2: family that was your rebuttal at home as.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Well when they said you weren't cool enough for TikTok.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I love it there.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Yeah, welcome to the crazy world of TikTok, and you
- 2:57Speaker 2: can make him go forward and backwards with the boomerang things.
- 2:59Speaker 1: There's lots to think it's going to be exciting to
- 3:01Speaker 1: see what's out there. I can tell you're excited about
- 3:03Speaker 1: that aspect of it.
- 3:03Speaker 5: All right.
- 3:05Speaker 3: I may be doing every TikTok with a cat filter on,
- 3:08Speaker 3: although I think that's like seven generations ago.
- 3:10Speaker 1: That's very true.
- 3:11Speaker 2: So we got a lot to talk about on today's show.
- 3:13Speaker 2: What are we gonna What are we gonna be? There's
- 3:15Speaker 2: some big news, so let's go through what we're going
- 3:16Speaker 2: to talk about today.
- 3:17Speaker 4: All right.
- 3:18Speaker 3: So Keith Ellison, the Attorney General of Minnesota, testified the
- 3:21Speaker 3: Senate this week. It was a train wreck falling off
- 3:25Speaker 3: a bridge, on fire and exploding. I think that is
- 3:28Speaker 3: the understated way to put how well his testimony went.
- 3:31Speaker 3: We're going to give you some excerpts of that. He
- 3:34Speaker 3: refused to take responsibility for any of the massive fraud
- 3:37Speaker 3: in his state. He refused to take responsibility for his
- 3:40Speaker 3: own wrongdoing. He was angry, bitter, and partisan. So it
- 3:43Speaker 3: was exactly what you would have expected from Keith Ellison.
- 3:47Speaker 3: We're also going to talk about that Democrats are responsible
- 3:51Speaker 3: for the single largest spill of sewage in American history.
- 3:55Speaker 3: And that is not a joke. I am not making
- 3:58Speaker 3: that up, and the press is not telling you about it. Well,
- 4:01Speaker 3: Ben and I are. And finally we're gonna we're gonna
- 4:04Speaker 3: talk about the Save America Act, where it is, what
- 4:07Speaker 3: the Senate needs to do to pass it, how we
- 4:09Speaker 3: protect integrity in our elections. All of those are in
- 4:12Speaker 3: today's pod and today's show.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gonna be a good one.
- 4:15Speaker 2: So make sure you download Verdict with Ted Cruz also
- 4:17Speaker 2: where every of your podcast, and you can also watch
- 4:20Speaker 2: as I mentioned earlier on YouTube and even some of
- 4:22Speaker 2: the shorts on TikTok as well. All right, so let's
- 4:24Speaker 2: start with Ellison testifying and really fail to take accountability
- 4:28Speaker 2: for Minnesota and the fraud there. It is not surprising
- 4:33Speaker 2: that he wanted to deflect in a major way. That's
- 4:36Speaker 2: what he's decided to do, obviously, Senator and and and
- 4:39Speaker 2: I get the strategy, but it didn't really work out
- 4:42Speaker 2: for him when he had to answer real questions.
- 4:44Speaker 1: You can only die so much.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Yeah, it did not work out at all. We're gonna
- 4:49Speaker 3: start with with with Josh Holly, my colleague who questioned,
- 4:53Speaker 3: Keith Ellison did a very good job. Ellison was battling
- 4:57Speaker 3: and dodging the whole time. But but but the this
- 5:00Speaker 3: was fiery. To put it mildly, give a listen.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Try another question. You familiar with the nine billion dollars
- 5:05Speaker 4: in historic fraud out of your state, including the two
- 5:08Speaker 4: hundred and fifty million dollars in the Feeding Our Future program?
- 5:12Speaker 4: Alone you familiar with that? Don't turn to the pages
- 5:14Speaker 4: in your book to get your potted answers. Are you
- 5:16Speaker 4: familiar with it? Yes or no?
- 5:17Speaker 5: Yes, I am familiar with.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Very familiar, aren't you. Because the people who ran the
- 5:21Speaker 4: Feeding our Futures program came to you and your official
- 5:24Speaker 4: office in the state capitol of December eleventh to twenty
- 5:27Speaker 4: twenty one and ask for your help in getting investigators
- 5:31Speaker 4: off their backs. They complained to you for upwards of
- 5:34Speaker 4: an hour about state investigators going after them, and they
- 5:38Speaker 4: begged you to help them, and you agreed to it amazingly.
- 5:42Speaker 4: And we know you did. That's because it's all caught
- 5:45Speaker 4: on tape. Every single sentence is caught on tape. Here's
- 5:48Speaker 4: what you said.
- 5:48Speaker 5: Let's take it on.
- 5:49Speaker 4: You said this sat a question you said to them,
- 5:53Speaker 4: send me the names of all these folks who are
- 5:56Speaker 4: investigating them. You said to them, send me their names,
- 5:59Speaker 4: and I'll take that list and I'll call the person
- 6:01Speaker 4: over at education who was investigating them and say, what's
- 6:04Speaker 4: going on? Why am I getting these complaints? Then you
- 6:07Speaker 4: went on to say, I already have my team working
- 6:10Speaker 4: on this. What day should we get together to discuss
- 6:14Speaker 4: it again? You made pledge after pledge to them. You said,
- 6:18Speaker 4: we've got to make sure this guy who's investigating them
- 6:21Speaker 4: stops it. You said, you have my attention. I'm concerned
- 6:24Speaker 4: about this. You said, let's go fight these people, meaning
- 6:28Speaker 4: the people who are investigating the fraud. Why'd you do it?
- 6:33Speaker 4: Why did you help them?
- 6:34Speaker 5: Are you gonna let me answer?
- 6:36Speaker 4: Please?
- 6:36Speaker 5: We're all here, so first of all, you're cherry picking
- 6:39Speaker 5: colts out of there?
- 6:40Speaker 4: Then why did you help me?
- 6:41Speaker 5: I thought you were gonna let me answer? Why did
- 6:43Speaker 5: you let me answer?
- 6:44Speaker 4: Why did you help?
- 6:45Speaker 3: You?
- 6:45Speaker 5: Let me answer? And I'll answer.
- 6:46Speaker 4: You tell the truth and I'll let you answer.
- 6:47Speaker 6: I will tell you it'd be a nice change, so
- 6:50Speaker 6: that I see, mister chairman, I didn't come here to
- 6:53Speaker 6: be insulted.
- 6:53Speaker 5: I came here value you came here for the truth.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Let's have it. Why did you help? Are here? They're
- 6:58Speaker 4: in black and white, and every remeber this audience and
- 7:01Speaker 4: their chair listen to the recording. It's fifty four minutes long.
- 7:05Speaker 4: It's all in public that you can google it right
- 7:07Speaker 4: now and listen to it and listen to to help them.
- 7:10Speaker 5: First of all, I didn't help them, you did? No,
- 7:13Speaker 5: I did not. I certainly didn't.
- 7:15Speaker 4: You're saying you didn't do anything for them. You you didn't,
- 7:17Speaker 4: you didn't. Well, wait a minute, I already have my
- 7:19Speaker 4: team working on this again. That's not you.
- 7:20Speaker 3: I have.
- 7:21Speaker 5: I've been with my team.
- 7:23Speaker 6: My team assisted with the information that led to the
- 7:28Speaker 6: prosecution and conviction of.
- 7:29Speaker 4: These didn't You didn't finger to prosecute them. No, you
- 7:32Speaker 4: did not because you had all bs. You have whistleblowers
- 7:37Speaker 4: talking to you, one talking by listen, it's my time.
- 7:41Speaker 5: Doesn't know what you're talking about?
- 7:42Speaker 4: You, sir, you now encountered. Why did you take your money?
- 7:46Speaker 1: Center?
- 7:47Speaker 2: You're a movie guy. What let's see how good you are?
- 7:49Speaker 2: What's the movie where you can't handle the tree?
- 7:51Speaker 3: Yes? Okay, but Ben, you and I have been doing
- 7:53Speaker 3: this too long. It is the greatest missed opportunity. Think
- 7:58Speaker 3: it is the greatest missed up opportunity in the history
- 8:02Speaker 3: of Senate hearings. That that that Keith Ellison didn't say
- 8:06Speaker 3: you want the truth, you can't handle the truth. I
- 8:10Speaker 3: was like, come on, oh, I mean, it was screaming
- 8:14Speaker 3: for him to say it. But but listen, the reality
- 8:17Speaker 3: is Keith Ellison doesn't want anything resembling the truth. Josh
- 8:22Speaker 3: is right. That entire conversation is on tape, and it
- 8:25Speaker 3: is the criminals coming to the Attorney General saying would
- 8:29Speaker 3: you stop the people who are investigating us to find
- 8:32Speaker 3: our crimes? And the Attorney General, this left wing democrat
- 8:37Speaker 3: who was getting elected by these criminals, said sure, I'll
- 8:41Speaker 3: help you. It's all on tape. Josh Holly's question, why'd
- 8:44Speaker 3: you take the money? Let let's let's listen to to
- 8:47Speaker 3: that question and what the facts are and and spoiler alert,
- 8:50Speaker 3: Ellison's just gonna lie. Give a listen.
- 8:53Speaker 4: Why did you take your money? Why did you take
- 8:56Speaker 4: their money?
- 8:57Speaker 6: I didn't you took tens of false thousand, No, that's
- 9:00Speaker 6: a false ten thousand dollars nine days after the meeting.
- 9:05Speaker 4: False, you took ten thousand dollars. Here's what happened. They
- 9:09Speaker 4: went to your office. They so listed in money from you,
- 9:12Speaker 4: from you. They came to your office, it was your
- 9:15Speaker 4: official office. You lived with them for fifty four minutes.
- 9:18Speaker 4: They asked you for help. You pledged it to them,
- 9:20Speaker 4: and they talked repeatedly about money. In fact, it's all
- 9:23Speaker 4: they talked. That's a lot of money, money, money, money.
- 9:26Speaker 4: They said, we will put our dollars in the right place.
- 9:29Speaker 4: We will support candidates that will fight to protect our interests.
- 9:32Speaker 4: You replied, that's right. They said that you are securing
- 9:35Speaker 4: your donor base and securing your power base. You can
- 9:38Speaker 4: act the way you want. You replied, money is freedom.
- 9:42Speaker 4: They said, the amount of money circulate I'm reading the transcript.
- 9:45Speaker 4: The amount of money you're relating in our community today
- 9:47Speaker 4: is powerful and we haven't realizing it in a meaningful way.
- 9:51Speaker 4: And you said, give me the specifics. And nine days
- 9:54Speaker 4: later you took ten thousand dollars from people who were
- 9:58Speaker 4: then indicted. It's your reports. Why did you do it, sir?
- 10:02Speaker 4: This was it worth it?
- 10:04Speaker 5: You know what? This is a theatrical ten thousand.
- 10:06Speaker 4: This is the truth what a building looks like, of
- 10:09Speaker 4: which you've had, you helped fraudsters, defraud your spy and
- 10:13Speaker 4: this government of nine million dollars and you got that
- 10:17Speaker 4: campaign contribution.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Out of it.
- 10:19Speaker 4: You ought to be indicted.
- 10:20Speaker 5: True, Well, that's the truth. I think we've made the point.
- 10:23Speaker 5: Let's keep the ten for the record.
- 10:25Speaker 4: I'll ask how's alling?
- 10:26Speaker 5: And that's and that's the truth.
- 10:28Speaker 4: Oh no, this is all on the road. So did
- 10:30Speaker 4: you bother? O? Did you bother to investigate where the
- 10:33Speaker 4: money that you facilitated their fraud for where it went?
- 10:36Speaker 4: Do you know where it went? What it was used for?
- 10:38Speaker 4: The fraudulent money? I do, because we just heard testimony
- 10:41Speaker 4: about it yesterday. Because we run with tears in the
- 10:44Speaker 4: hundreds of millions of dollars to terrorists, to transnational criminal organizations,
- 10:49Speaker 4: to the drug trade, to drug trafficking, to child trafficking.
- 10:53Speaker 4: And you took ten thousand dollars. That's a lot and
- 10:56Speaker 4: help them do it. You know. The other thing is,
- 10:58Speaker 4: whistleblowers came to you as early as twenty nineteen. Let's
- 11:01Speaker 4: look as early as twenty nineteen. Whistle blod don't talk
- 11:05Speaker 4: over me. As early as twenty nineteen, it's my hearing pal.
- 11:10Speaker 4: As early as twenty nineteen, don't come whistle blowers came
- 11:14Speaker 4: to well, I should call you prisoner because you ought
- 11:15Speaker 4: to be in jail.
- 11:16Speaker 5: Well, see what you get.
- 11:17Speaker 4: In twenty nineteen, whistleblowers came to you in your office
- 11:21Speaker 4: and referred to you fraud allegations from Feeding our Futures,
- 11:24Speaker 4: and you blow them off. Listen to your own state
- 11:26Speaker 4: newspaper that's allowed at the Minnesota Start Tribune. The Partners
- 11:29Speaker 4: and Nutrition brought its concerns to the Attorney General's office
- 11:32Speaker 4: in twenty eighteen and in twenty nineteen, and you did nothing.
- 11:36Speaker 4: You did nothing for years. The only action you took
- 11:39Speaker 4: is once all these fraudsters came to your office and
- 11:42Speaker 4: asked you to get involved and offered your money, and
- 11:45Speaker 4: then you got involved. Then you talk the money, and
- 11:47Speaker 4: then you got involved.
- 11:48Speaker 5: They did not come to my office. You're completely wrong
- 11:51Speaker 5: about that. You met with it in that fifty twenty.
- 11:53Speaker 4: Minutes and you took ten thousand dollars and they also
- 11:56Speaker 4: gave your family money. They gave your family thousands of
- 11:59Speaker 4: dollars in campaign contributions, is what they gave.
- 12:01Speaker 5: False statement.
- 12:02Speaker 6: Let's put the this is you know this is completely
- 12:05Speaker 6: on the New York Post.
- 12:06Speaker 4: Yeah, we know the New York Post Minnesota Keith Ellwilson
- 12:09Speaker 4: ag accepted campaign donations from individuals link to the two
- 12:12Speaker 4: or fifty million dollars COVID fraud scheme after they were
- 12:14Speaker 4: in your office. No donations came on December twentieth. Sir,
- 12:17Speaker 4: you met with them on December the eleventh, and on
- 12:19Speaker 4: January twentieth, the FBI knocked over their headquarters.
- 12:23Speaker 5: No, no, that's the.
- 12:24Speaker 4: Sequence of events here. No, it's you've been right at
- 12:27Speaker 4: the center of this fraud, not the sequence. And and sir,
- 12:32Speaker 4: the false you should resign.
- 12:34Speaker 2: I mean, you look at this hearing and he's like,
- 12:37Speaker 2: you know, good luck with that, basically putting me in jail.
- 12:40Speaker 2: He does seem incredibly arrogant, cocky for a guy that's
- 12:43Speaker 2: being accused of all these things.
- 12:44Speaker 1: But unrepass they've just been conditioned, right like.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, he's he's never been called to account. And
- 12:50Speaker 3: his response is just a lie. Say that's a lie.
- 12:52Speaker 3: That's a lie. That's lie. By the way, he doesn't
- 12:53Speaker 3: have any facts to the contrary. And when Josh lays
- 12:56Speaker 3: out the receipts that he actually received the contribution, received
- 13:00Speaker 3: them nine days after meeting with the fraudsters, and promising
- 13:04Speaker 3: to help them. He has no response other than scream, liar, liar, liar.
- 13:08Speaker 3: But look, it's not just that Keith Ellison, like the
- 13:11Speaker 3: rest of the Minnesota Democrats, is extreme and radical. Listen
- 13:15Speaker 3: to him here refusing to condemn Lewis Farrakhn's bigotry and
- 13:20Speaker 3: anti semitism. This is Bernie Moreno, Senator from Ohio, questioning him.
- 13:24Speaker 6: Give a listen, I speak against anti Semitism.
- 13:26Speaker 5: I condemn it as reponent and wrong.
- 13:28Speaker 7: Let's positive you speak against anti semitism. Will you condemn
- 13:31Speaker 7: Lewis Ferrikhon's comments saying that Judaism is a dirty religion?
- 13:37Speaker 6: You know, sir, I thought I was coming here to
- 13:40Speaker 6: talk about him with that. By no, no, no, I
- 13:43Speaker 6: thought I was talking about immigration policy. I didn't know
- 13:46Speaker 6: that we were going to be talking about all these matters.
- 13:50Speaker 6: I mean, I'm reluctant to just sort of I mean,
- 13:53Speaker 6: we already had one thing where we didn't mention immigration
- 13:55Speaker 6: policy at all. I'm fine with you asking about questions
- 13:59Speaker 6: around asylum and things like that.
- 14:01Speaker 5: That makes a lot of sense to me.
- 14:03Speaker 6: But now we're going off in all kind of different directions.
- 14:06Speaker 6: I think there should be some scope to this hearing,
- 14:08Speaker 6: and so thank you for your interest, and we both
- 14:13Speaker 6: share a need to con.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Senator.
- 14:17Speaker 2: I love how it's almost like he's trying to steal
- 14:19Speaker 2: aligne from Donald Trump. They're like, thank you for your
- 14:21Speaker 2: attention to this matter. You can't make it up.
- 14:24Speaker 3: Well, and of course he was completely unwilling to condemn
- 14:28Speaker 3: Lewis Ferrikhan's vicious anti semitism. Keith Ellison is Muslim, Lewis
- 14:33Speaker 3: ferri Khan is Muslim, and they both have reveled in
- 14:37Speaker 3: big bigotry. Look a related. He said he was willing
- 14:41Speaker 3: to talk about immigration. Well, when it comes to the
- 14:45Speaker 3: anti ice protesters in Minnesota, you remember the ones that
- 14:48Speaker 3: burst into the church service and disturbed the Christian church. Well,
- 14:52Speaker 3: Keith Ellison did an interview about that where he said, quote,
- 14:59Speaker 3: I think that protest is fundamental to American society. You know,
- 15:02Speaker 3: it's freedom of expression. People have a right to lift
- 15:04Speaker 3: up their voices and make their peace, and none of
- 15:06Speaker 3: us are immune to the voice of the public. And
- 15:09Speaker 3: then he says they're getting tender about a church service now,
- 15:14Speaker 3: so he is of course siding with the anti ice
- 15:16Speaker 3: protesters who are disrupting a church service. Which by the way,
- 15:20Speaker 3: is a violation of federal law, the Federal Face Act.
- 15:23Speaker 3: And his statement they're getting tender about a church service.
- 15:26Speaker 3: That's just how intolerant he is. Just a minute ago
- 15:30Speaker 3: he refused to condemn Lewis Farrakhan's bigotry and anti semitism,
- 15:34Speaker 3: and instead he said, can we talk about immigration policy?
- 15:38Speaker 3: Well that that wasn't the best idea either. Bernie Moreno
- 15:41Speaker 3: did ask him about immigration policy and it didn't go
- 15:44Speaker 3: so well.
- 15:44Speaker 7: Give a listen, Mexico and Canada, do you consider those
- 15:47Speaker 7: to be safe countries or no?
- 15:50Speaker 5: Generally I do, but there is you do.
- 15:54Speaker 4: You border Canada?
- 15:55Speaker 5: Don't insult your neighbors to the north. Now, I love
- 15:56Speaker 5: my neighbors to the north.
- 15:58Speaker 7: Is it a generally safe country? Generally yes, so that
- 16:01Speaker 7: somebody seeking asylum could certainly be safe in Canada and
- 16:05Speaker 7: Mexico now.
- 16:06Speaker 6: Now, so like if somebody we do know that in Mexico,
- 16:11Speaker 6: which is another country I truly admire and think it's
- 16:13Speaker 6: a wonderful country. But they have been cases of persecution
- 16:17Speaker 6: people who I have legitimate.
- 16:19Speaker 7: People aren't safe in Mexico. Refugees cannot be safe in Mexico.
- 16:22Speaker 5: Some might not be and I think in what I say.
- 16:25Speaker 7: Insadra shouldn't have a free trade agreement with him.
- 16:27Speaker 5: Then I didn't say.
- 16:28Speaker 1: That, Senator.
- 16:29Speaker 2: He didn't like answering those questions at all, did he
- 16:31Speaker 2: after he already said he wanted to bring up the topic.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Yeah, no, he did not. He did not like those
- 16:37Speaker 3: questions at all. And I got to say his testimony
- 16:41Speaker 3: was nothing but a bunch of crap. Now that actually
- 16:45Speaker 3: happens to be highly relevant because our next story is
- 16:48Speaker 3: really an amazing story that deals with Democrats and a
- 16:51Speaker 3: bunch of crap. Yeah, Democrats in Washington, d C. And
- 16:57Speaker 3: Virginia and Maryland. Our response for the largest sewage spill
- 17:03Speaker 3: in American history. I want to read a headline to you.
- 17:07Speaker 3: The failure in a section of a seventy two inch
- 17:09Speaker 3: sewer pipe in Maryland has released close to a billion
- 17:15Speaker 3: that's with a b a billion gallons of raw sewage
- 17:19Speaker 3: into the Potomac River just inside the Beltway. It's now
- 17:24Speaker 3: considered the largest spill of wastewater in US history. Maryland
- 17:30Speaker 3: and Virginia democrats haven't said a word nothing.
- 17:35Speaker 1: They don't want you to know about it.
- 17:36Speaker 2: They don't want you to know this is this is
- 17:38Speaker 2: like a massive oil spill, except it's raw sewage in
- 17:41Speaker 2: the Potomac River. It is going to have an impact
- 17:44Speaker 2: on like everything there, including the fish and the crabs,
- 17:48Speaker 2: and the whole list goes on and on, and usually
- 17:51Speaker 2: the left is like the scream and yell and show
- 17:54Speaker 2: up for the wildlife and peta and all of that
- 17:57Speaker 2: when you have things happen that they don't like. But
- 18:00Speaker 2: on this one, they're like, let's just be quiet, and
- 18:01Speaker 2: actually it's not happening. In A billion gallons that is
- 18:05Speaker 2: going in of sewage is going into the Potomac right
- 18:08Speaker 2: like we're just a talk about it.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Billion gallons of human waste, of human excrement was dumped
- 18:15Speaker 3: into the Potomac River. And Democrats, look, Democrats answer to
- 18:19Speaker 3: everything is government. We want government in charge. We want
- 18:22Speaker 3: government in charge. And the dirty little secret, whether it's
- 18:24Speaker 3: Minnesota or whether it's Maryland and DC is Democrats are
- 18:27Speaker 3: really really bad at government.
- 18:29Speaker 1: They like, when they're in charge, we'll get mine down
- 18:32Speaker 1: by York.
- 18:32Speaker 2: And like two weeks he's like, can't figure out how
- 18:34Speaker 2: to get trash or melt ice or deal with the
- 18:37Speaker 2: rat problem that happened in a few weeks.
- 18:40Speaker 3: And and by the way, DC for the last two
- 18:42Speaker 3: weeks has been buried in snow. They can't figure out
- 18:44Speaker 3: how to shovel the sidewalks. I mean, they're completely confused.
- 18:49Speaker 3: I did an event with President Trump out at the
- 18:52Speaker 3: Treasury Department I think it was two weeks ago. Where
- 18:55Speaker 3: to get into the Treasury Department, I literally had to
- 18:58Speaker 3: scale basically this no bank that was about four feet
- 19:01Speaker 3: high because there was no break in it. That Apparently
- 19:05Speaker 3: nobody in the Washington DC government can figure out where
- 19:08Speaker 3: a sidewalk is.
- 19:08Speaker 2: That's what people want on TikTok. You should have taken
- 19:11Speaker 2: that video that would have gone viral.
- 19:13Speaker 3: And my Press secretary was in four inch spike high
- 19:17Speaker 3: heels and she managed to scale that icy snow bank.
- 19:20Speaker 3: I thought she was going to break her neck. And
- 19:23Speaker 3: the problem is she would assue DC and DC's judgment
- 19:26Speaker 3: proof they have no money because they're run by Democrats.
- 19:29Speaker 3: But listen to some more details on this sewage spill,
- 19:32Speaker 3: because I'm curious. Has this been on the six six
- 19:35Speaker 3: o'clock news on any of the networks.
- 19:38Speaker 2: No, no one's talking about this. Yeah, I mean, until
- 19:40Speaker 2: we decide we go through the rundown. I didn't know
- 19:43Speaker 2: about this until we were planning the show for today.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Had not heard about it at all.
- 19:47Speaker 3: The news is completely ignoring it. Here's the headline, or
- 19:51Speaker 3: here's a little bit of the details. DC Water CEO
- 19:53Speaker 3: David gadis resolved to do everything possible to reclaim the
- 19:56Speaker 3: Potomac River after last months disastrous sewer pipe break, he
- 20:02Speaker 3: said in an open letter to the community Wednesday. The
- 20:05Speaker 3: failure in a section of seventy two inch sewer pipe
- 20:08Speaker 3: known as the Potomac Interceptor, result in the release of
- 20:10Speaker 3: hundreds of millions of gallons of raw sewage into the
- 20:13Speaker 3: river just inside the Beltway along the C and O
- 20:15Speaker 3: Canal in Montgomery County, Maryland. It's considered the largest spill
- 20:18Speaker 3: of wastewater in US history.
- 20:21Speaker 4: Quote.
- 20:21Speaker 3: The Potomac River is a shared natural treasure and in
- 20:24Speaker 3: any event and any event that threatens its health understandably
- 20:28Speaker 3: causes concern, frustration, and a sense of loss. Those feelings
- 20:32Speaker 3: are not only valid, they are also shared by all
- 20:35Speaker 3: of us at d C Water, Gatis said in the letter,
- 20:37Speaker 3: not mentioning that's why democrats are dropping a billion gallons
- 20:42Speaker 3: of crap into the water that you care about. The
- 20:45Speaker 3: letter went on to explain that on January nineteenth, Cruz
- 20:48Speaker 3: noticed unusual activity and security cameras monitoring an odor control
- 20:52Speaker 3: facility along the C and O Canal. I would imagine
- 20:55Speaker 3: that would cause him unusual action.
- 20:57Speaker 1: A billion gallons. If you can't smell that, you got
- 20:59Speaker 1: a problem.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Upon inspection, the crews discovered the break in the day
- 21:04Speaker 3: since the discovery, DC Water personnelity contractors worked to quote
- 21:07Speaker 3: contain the overthroat overflow, protect public safety, and begin repairs.
- 21:12Speaker 3: A bypass system was constructed to pump waste around the
- 21:15Speaker 3: damaged area the pipe and reinserted into a section of
- 21:17Speaker 3: the structure downstream. Complicating the repairs was the discovery last
- 21:21Speaker 3: week of a large rock dam blocking a significant section
- 21:25Speaker 3: of the pipe about thirty feet south of the break.
- 21:28Speaker 3: D C Water is waiting for five large capacity pumps
- 21:31Speaker 3: to arrive from Where do you think they're coming from?
- 21:34Speaker 1: Where are they me guess Texas.
- 21:36Speaker 3: And Florida, Texas and Florida to.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Increase They're going to save the Liberals from their own
- 21:44Speaker 2: feces it.
- 21:44Speaker 3: They're sending large pumps to pump, pump the billion gallons
- 21:51Speaker 3: of crap that the Democrats have dumped into the water. Yeah,
- 21:56Speaker 3: They then planned to build a bulkhead near the break
- 21:59Speaker 3: to divert more water so workers can safely remove the boulders. Apparently,
- 22:02Speaker 3: I want to notice the boulders until then. DC Waters
- 22:05Speaker 3: expects this to take an extra six weeks to accomplish.
- 22:12Speaker 2: By the way, no way, in the private sector it
- 22:13Speaker 2: would take six weeks. I just want to be very
- 22:15Speaker 2: clear about that. Like in the private sector, it would
- 22:17Speaker 2: not take you six weeks, and then the private sector
- 22:20Speaker 2: they would work twenty four to seven to get it fixed.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Can I get an amen on that one?
- 22:24Speaker 3: That they would, But fortunately the government is in charge,
- 22:27Speaker 3: so it's cheap and efficient. Give a listen.
- 22:28Speaker 4: Yes.
- 22:29Speaker 3: Gaddis noted that DC Water will be dedicating resources not
- 22:32Speaker 3: only to the repairs, but also to an environmental restoration
- 22:35Speaker 3: program to mitigate the damage that's already been done. The
- 22:38Speaker 3: letter detailed a six hundred and twenty five million dollar
- 22:43Speaker 3: investment to rehabilitate the Potomac Interceptor as part of a
- 22:47Speaker 3: ten year, ten billion dollar capital improvement program. At ten
- 22:52Speaker 3: billion dollar capital improvement program, except for the minor detail
- 22:55Speaker 3: of dumping a billion gallons of crap into the water
- 22:59Speaker 3: point at.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Hours still going out by the way as we're speaking,
- 23:01Speaker 2: I just want to be clear about that.
- 23:03Speaker 3: Gattis pointed out that several tunnels they built along the
- 23:05Speaker 3: northeast boundary are currently building along the Potomac, have resulted
- 23:09Speaker 3: in billions of gallons of combined sewage being prevented from
- 23:14Speaker 3: entering the Anacostian Potomac rivers through the Utilities Clean Rivers Project.
- 23:19Speaker 3: So what he's saying is, well, yeah, we've spilled a
- 23:23Speaker 3: billion gallons, but we could have spelled billions more. I mean,
- 23:26Speaker 3: I mean, we brook at all the crap we could
- 23:28Speaker 3: have dumped in the river, and it's only the worst
- 23:32Speaker 3: sewage leak in the history of the United States of America.
- 23:35Speaker 1: And it's not leading on the nightly news. I mean,
- 23:39Speaker 1: let's just go be clear.
- 23:40Speaker 2: If this happened in a conservative run city, it would.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Be on the nightly news.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Peter would be out there losing their minds, all the
- 23:50Speaker 2: environmental groups would be.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Out there losing their minds.
- 23:53Speaker 2: It would be on the front page of the newspapers
- 23:55Speaker 2: nationally if it was a conservative place where the largest
- 24:00Speaker 2: sewer spill in history had happened. But because it's Democrats,
- 24:05Speaker 2: no one knows what's going on in probably unless you're
- 24:08Speaker 2: listening to this show.
- 24:10Speaker 3: And look the consistency of the incompetence of Democrat leaders
- 24:14Speaker 3: of government. Whether it's Keith Ellison not able to stop
- 24:18Speaker 3: fraud and in fact being complicit and fraud because he's
- 24:21Speaker 3: profiting from it. Whether it's the DC mayor who can't
- 24:23Speaker 3: shovel snow on the sidewalk, whether it is DC and
- 24:26Speaker 3: Maryland who dump a billion gallons of sewage into the
- 24:29Speaker 3: river and into the water, or whether it's Gavin Newsom who,
- 24:32Speaker 3: when you're facing the worst wildfires ever, has dumped the
- 24:38Speaker 3: water into the Pacific Ocean so it's not available in
- 24:40Speaker 3: the fire hydrants and everyone's house is burned. And by
- 24:44Speaker 3: the way, the Marxist mayor of La Karen Bass, who's
- 24:48Speaker 3: in Africa during the fire and is so focused on
- 24:51Speaker 3: DEI that she doesn't actually have the resources to fight
- 24:54Speaker 3: the fire in California, won't let them do fire mitigation strategies.
- 24:58Speaker 3: All of this, there is a thread throughout it all,
- 25:00Speaker 3: and it is in competence and people paying the price.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Senator, let's talk about a big piece of legislation that
- 25:08Speaker 2: a lot of people are very focused on this country.
- 25:11Speaker 2: A lot of voters voted on this issue specifically, and
- 25:16Speaker 2: it deals with the Save America Act. And what has
- 25:19Speaker 2: happened this week, let's give an update to that.
- 25:21Speaker 3: Well, the House of Representatives passed the Save America Act.
- 25:25Speaker 3: Passed it with only one Democrat vote. Every Democrat but
- 25:28Speaker 3: one voted against it. The Save America Act requires proof
- 25:32Speaker 3: of US citizenship to register to vote, and it requires
- 25:34Speaker 3: a photo ID to vote. It's a very simple, straightforward,
- 25:37Speaker 3: common sense bill. It's now gone over to the Senate.
- 25:40Speaker 3: I am leading the charge, pressing hard to get the
- 25:44Speaker 3: Senate to take it up, to use every procedural tool
- 25:46Speaker 3: we have to force the Senate to vote on it
- 25:49Speaker 3: and pass it. This week I put out a video
- 25:52Speaker 3: explaining the issues concisely, and the video went viral. It
- 25:56Speaker 3: has over a million views. Give a listen, give a watch.
- 26:00Speaker 3: The House just passed the Save America Act. The Senate
- 26:03Speaker 3: needs to take it up and pass it. I'm an
- 26:06Speaker 3: original sponsor of the Save America Act. This is common
- 26:09Speaker 3: sense legislation. This is legislation that requires proof that you're
- 26:14Speaker 3: an American citizen in order to register to vote, and
- 26:17Speaker 3: it requires a photo ID to go in and vote.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Texas already requires a photo ID. It's an easy, common
- 26:24Speaker 3: sense step to avoid voter fraud. The vast majority of
- 26:28Speaker 3: Americans support photo ID, and yet Senate Democrats are doing
- 26:33Speaker 3: everything they can to block it because they want more
- 26:37Speaker 3: voter fraud. How do we take it up and pass
- 26:40Speaker 3: it in the Senate? What I am urging my colleagues
- 26:43Speaker 3: is that we should use every procedural tool we have
- 26:46Speaker 3: to defeat a Democrat filibuster, and in particular, we should
- 26:51Speaker 3: nuke what's called the zombie filibuster. Under the Senate rules,
- 26:57Speaker 3: everyone has a right to filibuster, to talk as long
- 26:59Speaker 3: as they want. We should require them to talk as
- 27:03Speaker 3: long as they can go back to an old style
- 27:07Speaker 3: talking philibuster like Jimmy Stewart did, and mister Smith goes
- 27:11Speaker 3: to Washington like I did in twenty thirteen for twenty
- 27:14Speaker 3: one hours on the floor of the Senate. We should
- 27:17Speaker 3: use the procedural rules to force the Democrats to do
- 27:21Speaker 3: a talking filibuster and force them to keep talking and
- 27:24Speaker 3: talking and talking, and when they can't talk anymore, then
- 27:28Speaker 3: we should pass the Save America Act. That's what I'm
- 27:31Speaker 3: merging my colleagues to do. It's what President Trump wants
- 27:34Speaker 3: us to do, and it's what I hope and pray
- 27:36Speaker 3: we accomplish.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Senator you said it, I think perfectly there, and explain
- 27:42Speaker 2: a little bit more about what it would mean to
- 27:44Speaker 2: nuke the zombie filibuster so that we get more context
- 27:48Speaker 2: for that, so people understand in essence what they would
- 27:50Speaker 2: be advocating for.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Well, for most of the history of the Senate, the
- 27:55Speaker 3: filibuster involved talking, involves standing up and talking and talking
- 27:58Speaker 3: and talking. And in recent decades, the Senate is allowed
- 28:04Speaker 3: simply whoever is filibustering to say we're going to filibuster,
- 28:07Speaker 3: you cast a procedural vote, and then you're done, and
- 28:09Speaker 3: it's treated as blocked. But we don't have to do that.
- 28:12Speaker 3: We can force them that. There is what's called a
- 28:15Speaker 3: two speech rule in the Senate that limits every member
- 28:19Speaker 3: of the Senate to two speeches on any legislative topic.
- 28:22Speaker 3: And what I've been advocating, and Mike Lee has been advocating,
- 28:25Speaker 3: and Rick Scott has been advocating, and Ron Johnson has
- 28:28Speaker 3: been advocating, is that we force them to give the speeches,
- 28:33Speaker 3: force them to talk, and when they're done talking, then
- 28:36Speaker 3: you can vote on it. But the thing is, there's
- 28:39Speaker 3: a price to that because they can fight back, and
- 28:42Speaker 3: in particular, they can do what's called suggest the absence
- 28:46Speaker 3: of a quorum. That means we have to be able
- 28:48Speaker 3: to produce fifty senators on the floor. They're fifty three
- 28:52Speaker 3: of us. That means we need fifty bodies. It would
- 28:55Speaker 3: entail very long hours, it would entail all nighters. It
- 28:58Speaker 3: would entail fifty of us being willing to stand together.
- 29:01Speaker 3: It's not clear right now that we have fifty Republicans
- 29:04Speaker 3: willing to do that. I'm trying to make the case
- 29:06Speaker 3: this is a fight worth fighting, but it would be
- 29:10Speaker 3: a massive and extended This could extend days or even weeks.
- 29:15Speaker 3: But I think we should be fighting with everything we got.
- 29:17Speaker 3: I think this issue is important enough at merits fighting,
- 29:19Speaker 3: and so I'm trying to make that case to my colleagues.
- 29:22Speaker 1: All right, let me ask you a question.
- 29:23Speaker 2: If you nuke it the way that you described it,
- 29:26Speaker 2: is it just for this one issue and then things
- 29:28Speaker 2: go back to the regular order of business? How it
- 29:31Speaker 2: works normal now or would that change it moving forward?
- 29:36Speaker 2: Explain that, So.
- 29:38Speaker 3: This is different from nuking the filibuster. So nuking the
- 29:42Speaker 3: filibuster that phrase involves breaking the Senate rules to change
- 29:49Speaker 3: the Senate rules. So what happens and we saw, for example,
- 29:53Speaker 3: the Democrats nuked the filibuster for cabinet appointees and judicial
- 29:59Speaker 3: appointee and the way they did it, the Senate rules
- 30:02Speaker 3: made it clear in the terms of the Senate rules
- 30:05Speaker 3: that a nomination required sixty votes to go forward to
- 30:12Speaker 3: proceed to it. However, what happened was Harry Reid when
- 30:17Speaker 3: he was Majority leader. Any ruling of the Chair can
- 30:20Speaker 3: be challenged on the floor of the Senate, and fifty
- 30:23Speaker 3: one senators can overrule the ruling of the Chair. And
- 30:27Speaker 3: so Harry Reid inquired of the chair what is the
- 30:30Speaker 3: rule and was told the rule is sixty senators and
- 30:32Speaker 3: then he said, I appeal the ruling of the Chair,
- 30:35Speaker 3: and the Democrats all voted party line. And when they
- 30:38Speaker 3: did that, that becomes a binding precedent. So they broke
- 30:42Speaker 3: the rules of the Senate to change the rules of
- 30:44Speaker 3: the Senate. It is still in the Senate rules that
- 30:48Speaker 3: a filibuster can be used to stop legislation, and I
- 30:51Speaker 3: will say we have used that. Republicans have used that
- 30:54Speaker 3: to stop terrible legislation from the Democrats. I think that's an.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Important to say point that we like, yes, you woman,
- 31:01Speaker 2: need to also understand it's very valuable.
- 31:04Speaker 3: If the Democrats had succeeded in nuking the filibuster when
- 31:08Speaker 3: Joe Biden was president, when they had the House and Senate,
- 31:11Speaker 3: they would have passed legislation number one, striking down every
- 31:15Speaker 3: photo ID law in the country, and striking down every
- 31:17Speaker 3: election integrity law in the country. Number two, making DC
- 31:20Speaker 3: and Puerto Rico both states and electing four new Democrat senators.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Number three, making every illegal alien in America a US
- 31:27Speaker 3: citizen and giving them immediate voting rights, which would have,
- 31:30Speaker 3: among other things, turned Texas bright blue instantaneously. And number four,
- 31:35Speaker 3: they would have packed the U. S. Supreme Court and
- 31:37Speaker 3: added four left wing justices immediately to it. I think
- 31:41Speaker 3: that would have been I don't want to be hyperbolic,
- 31:44Speaker 3: but I think that would have been essentially the end
- 31:46Speaker 3: of the Republic. There's no way to turn that around
- 31:48Speaker 3: if they do that.
- 31:49Speaker 2: And so how do you put that back in Pandora's Like,
- 31:52Speaker 2: once that box opened, it's came over.
- 31:54Speaker 3: It's that agenda. Noticed. The Democrat's top policy agenda is
- 31:59Speaker 3: all to rig the game and make it impossible to
- 32:02Speaker 3: ever defeat Democrats. Again, there's nothing they value more than
- 32:05Speaker 3: staying in power. That's what they wanted to do. This
- 32:09Speaker 3: is not nuking the filibuster in terms of changing the
- 32:12Speaker 3: Senate rules. This is using the existing Senate rules and
- 32:16Speaker 3: just enforcing them, making them stand up and speak. And
- 32:19Speaker 3: one of the advantages of it is if they're standing
- 32:21Speaker 3: up and speaking for hours and hours on end, trying
- 32:24Speaker 3: to stop requiring proof of US citizenship to register to vote,
- 32:29Speaker 3: trying to stop photo ID. Look, both of those popular
- 32:33Speaker 3: policies are incredibly popular. Seventy eighty percent of Americans agree
- 32:37Speaker 3: with photo I D for voting, more than seventy percent
- 32:40Speaker 3: of African Americans agree with it, more than seventy percent
- 32:43Speaker 3: of Hispanics agree with it, more than seventy percent of
- 32:46Speaker 3: Democrat voters agree with it. And so this is a
- 32:50Speaker 3: fight we should be having. And I'm urging my colleagues.
- 32:53Speaker 3: Let's stand and fight for voter integrity.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Yeah, great point there, don't forget.
