- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a suit on the don giving
- 0:13Speaker 1: them like the million bucks things in the coves me
- 0:20Speaker 1: true good Steve listening together for STU. Please, I don't
- 0:39Speaker 1: join by joining me. You gotta use that turn you're
- 1:10Speaker 1: going to do. You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn.
- 1:43Speaker 1: You got to turn them out to turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come come on your fad uh huh.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show will a good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man o, man o,
- 2:14Speaker 1: man Wow. I think about all the things God has
- 2:19Speaker 1: done for me is overwhelming at times. And I want
- 2:22Speaker 1: everybody to have that feeling and to sharing that feeling
- 2:27Speaker 1: of completion and satisfaction. And the only reason I got this,
- 2:31Speaker 1: and it's the thousandth time I've said it, is because
- 2:34Speaker 1: I formed a relationship with my creator. Period. That's it.
- 2:39Speaker 1: That's it. That's it. I can't tell you as anything
- 2:42Speaker 1: else else. You know, I've always had a strong work ethic.
- 2:45Speaker 1: My father put that in me. My father's conversations with
- 2:48Speaker 1: me growing up was always constantly about work hard, don't
- 2:52Speaker 1: be lazy, be a man, do what you say you're
- 2:54Speaker 1: gonna do. YadA YadA, YadA, YadA YadA. Man. I was
- 2:57Speaker 1: so tired of my father at times. I was going to, man,
- 3:00Speaker 1: what is with this dude right here? Man? Every time
- 3:03Speaker 1: we have a conversation, it's got to be about work.
- 3:05Speaker 1: It's got to be about, you know, man, doing your best,
- 3:09Speaker 1: trying hard, you know, working, being honest, do what you
- 3:13Speaker 1: say you're gonna do. But that was his mission. I
- 3:17Speaker 1: can't tell you how much I appreciate that now. I
- 3:21Speaker 1: can't even I can't even put it into words when
- 3:23Speaker 1: I think about my old man and what he was
- 3:27Speaker 1: to me, and I just saw, Man, I'm so grateful
- 3:31Speaker 1: for that balance I had in my life. And then
- 3:34Speaker 1: my father was a fighter. He fought on the weekends.
- 3:39Speaker 1: You know. My father used to come home with his
- 3:42Speaker 1: with his clothes toe off of him. He put a
- 3:45Speaker 1: fresh shirt on and he go back. My mom used
- 3:47Speaker 1: to talk about my father fighting all the times, Nick,
- 3:50Speaker 1: why you're always fighting? You know a little bit of
- 3:53Speaker 1: that rubbed off on me too. You know that that
- 3:55Speaker 1: kind of got into me. And I didn't understand that either.
- 3:59Speaker 1: But then unders same turn. My mother was a Sunday
- 4:01Speaker 1: school teacher for forty years, so her conversation was never
- 4:05Speaker 1: about fighting or anything. It was all about love and
- 4:07Speaker 1: understanding and doing another that you would add them do
- 4:10Speaker 1: under you. My mom was a Sunday school teacher, so
- 4:13Speaker 1: I learned about faith. I had to go to Sunday school,
- 4:16Speaker 1: prayer meeting, Bible study, young people meeting, choir rehearsal. You know,
- 4:20Speaker 1: I was a churchman so much I was actually looking,
- 4:23Speaker 1: that's got to be an alternative to this, you know,
- 4:27Speaker 1: I want, you know, and I was a little kid
- 4:29Speaker 1: even I was thinking at one point, maybe all the
- 4:31Speaker 1: looking to Hell, because it's got to be something cooler
- 4:34Speaker 1: than this going on every day. It got that crazy
- 4:37Speaker 1: for me. But the balance between those two people created
- 4:41Speaker 1: who I am today. And I want you to understand
- 4:44Speaker 1: that the things that you are in your past have
- 4:47Speaker 1: helped create who you are today. If you view it
- 4:51Speaker 1: the right way, everything that has happened to you in
- 4:55Speaker 1: your past has happened to you for a reason and
- 4:59Speaker 1: as you for the good if you view it that way.
- 5:04Speaker 1: But if you, on the other hand, or a type
- 5:07Speaker 1: of person who can't move forward because you are allowing
- 5:11Speaker 1: your past to stop you from having your future. Then you,
- 5:16Speaker 1: my friend, are doing a disservice to your life. You
- 5:21Speaker 1: are not honoring God's blessings. You are not taking advantage
- 5:26Speaker 1: of the gain, knowledge, wisdom, and experience of your life. Example,
- 5:33Speaker 1: if you are a woman and you are always talking
- 5:39Speaker 1: about a former relationship, what he did to me. If
- 5:44Speaker 1: he had not did this to me, I wouldn't be
- 5:47Speaker 1: in this place today. I thought I had a man. Nah,
- 5:52Speaker 1: I ain't got no man. Ah La la la la la.
- 5:57Speaker 1: If you know he came along and I was doing
- 6:00Speaker 1: just swell, he just came in and he just lied
- 6:04Speaker 1: to me. He lied to me. Now that he did
- 6:07Speaker 1: this to me, then he cheated, then he left. All
- 6:11Speaker 1: of that that you're saying can very well be true.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Have you thought that maybe maybe somewhere in God's infinite wisdom,
- 6:25Speaker 1: that he knew that you had made a mistake in
- 6:29Speaker 1: picking him anyway? Maybe he knew you had made a
- 6:34Speaker 1: mistake in saying yes or I do to him anyway,
- 6:38Speaker 1: or come on move in? And so what he did
- 6:43Speaker 1: was based on your decision now to say yes I
- 6:48Speaker 1: do or come on, let's move in together. That was
- 6:51Speaker 1: your decision. You ain't go to him about this one.
- 6:54Speaker 1: You made this decision. Based on that decision, and all
- 6:59Speaker 1: the negative things that started happening, he allowed you to
- 7:03Speaker 1: get away from it. Now how you got away from it,
- 7:06Speaker 1: it's always not the choice of ours. See, you stuck
- 7:11Speaker 1: on the fact that he left, that he walked out.
- 7:14Speaker 1: But let me share this with you. When he was there,
- 7:17Speaker 1: how good was he to you? How good was he
- 7:20Speaker 1: for you? See, you got to you got to stare.
- 7:24Speaker 1: You got to look at the blessing. The blessing is.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Now you are on your own. Now you walk in
- 7:30Speaker 1: your house. Ain't nobody in there with a disruptive spirit.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Now you go home. You could take your clothes off
- 7:37Speaker 1: and walk around like you want to. Now you go home,
- 7:40Speaker 1: you can sit down and look at TV or catch
- 7:43Speaker 1: your breath if you want to. Your kids don't have
- 7:48Speaker 1: to see y'all arguing all the time. Have you looked
- 7:51Speaker 1: at the blessing in it? But now if you're gonna
- 7:54Speaker 1: keep looking at the negative, then guess what. Now you
- 7:58Speaker 1: can't move forward because you keep allowing your pass to
- 8:04Speaker 1: keep you from moving forward. If God has bought you
- 8:07Speaker 1: through it, why don't you move on from it? Look,
- 8:12Speaker 1: you got through it. He gone, He ain't coming back.
- 8:15Speaker 1: He got somebody else, So you're gonna sit there and
- 8:18Speaker 1: just keep tripping costs. He gone and he got somebody else. Ain't.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Pick yourself up. Thank God for the blessing. It didn't
- 8:27Speaker 1: feel like a blessing. Why you was going through it,
- 8:29Speaker 1: and all the pain of him leaving and the divorce
- 8:32Speaker 1: and all that messed you up? Got it when you
- 8:35Speaker 1: get through it, all of that. You ain't the first
- 8:37Speaker 1: one being left. You ain't the first woman been divorced.
- 8:40Speaker 1: You ain't the first woe been in a bad relationship.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Pick yourself up, thank God for the blessing, and move
- 8:48Speaker 1: forward in your life, because maybe when you quit complaining,
- 8:53Speaker 1: maybe you'll find out that God has something in store
- 8:57Speaker 1: for you that he wants you to have, but he
- 8:59Speaker 1: can't give it to you if you ain't grateful. So
- 9:02Speaker 1: God gives you a blessing, but because you don't see
- 9:05Speaker 1: it as a blessing, you ain't grateful for it. Now,
- 9:08Speaker 1: guess what, You steady asking God to do something for you,
- 9:12Speaker 1: but you ain't thanking him for what he's done for you,
- 9:15Speaker 1: but you steady wanting him to do more. How does
- 9:18Speaker 1: that work? How does that work man, that he should
- 9:21Speaker 1: keep on giving you things when you ain't even working
- 9:24Speaker 1: with the stuff he didn't gave you. And I don't know,
- 9:28Speaker 1: and I'm just I'm just using that one example. It
- 9:30Speaker 1: could go for me and too, vice versa, and so
- 9:33Speaker 1: on and so far. I'm just using that as an example. Now,
- 9:37Speaker 1: why I laid on that one so long? You take
- 9:40Speaker 1: that out with God? That's all just three. I ain't
- 9:42Speaker 1: pointing fingers that nobody in nothing because I've been guilty
- 9:45Speaker 1: on both sides of the coin. Who am I? But
- 9:49Speaker 1: I'm just sharing with you what I had to do.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I had to learn to stop allowing my past to
- 9:55Speaker 1: interfere with my future. You're listening show, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Prepare yourselves. Now how you do that? I don't know.
- 10:07Speaker 1: I can give you some suggestions. Sit up, pay attention,
- 10:14Speaker 1: tighten up, call you mom, neil, brace yourself, act right.
- 10:24Speaker 1: All that applies to the beginning of the Steve Harvey
- 10:29Speaker 1: Morning Show. Here it is it has BeGood and to
- 10:37Speaker 1: make you feel real comfortable. I'm is Steve Harvey. She
- 10:47Speaker 1: be should a start bad? I'm not comfortable. Good morning, Steve. Okay,
- 10:56Speaker 1: honey is calling for real. I'm just gonna go with it. Hi,
- 11:02Speaker 1: good morning, Happy Friday. Look at him, that Dawn Junior,
- 11:10Speaker 1: that that death be who I eat? Wan up? Never
- 11:16Speaker 1: you tell me wan on over here? Right here, you're
- 11:19Speaker 1: gonna stock here. The only one uncomfortable with all this
- 11:24Speaker 1: was that Bushie Shirley Strawberry, what ever, sir, always trying
- 11:31Speaker 1: to speak probably as everything you got the high and talk.
- 11:35Speaker 1: It's high tally. I remember I first heard you on
- 11:42Speaker 1: the radio. You were you were saying that's that. It
- 11:46Speaker 1: may have been a few days before I came in
- 11:48Speaker 1: to work with you in La. Steve. You said, don't
- 11:51Speaker 1: you tell the audience. Don't be calling up in here
- 11:55Speaker 1: talking to me about how I talk. La. Yeah, somebody
- 12:02Speaker 1: had faxed me today you sow country. Hey, you say
- 12:05Speaker 1: your paper, say you pay because you wasted it. Because
- 12:10Speaker 1: I'm not fit to change. I did that one time
- 12:13Speaker 1: in my career. It never happened again. Don't be calling
- 12:17Speaker 1: up in the here too high talk. If that's what
- 12:21Speaker 1: your facts say, We're gonna tad up and leave it
- 12:23Speaker 1: in the floor, because you know what, you know what,
- 12:25Speaker 1: nobody really email it much? You know? I had, Yeah,
- 12:31Speaker 1: but fax it was big. I told him, you just
- 12:34Speaker 1: waited to pay for all y'all facts on the floor.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Anybody stating y'all gotten to me to your country. This
- 12:41Speaker 1: lost Angeles. I don't know why they hired your country.
- 12:44Speaker 1: And because they don't know you. Don't nobody know you.
- 12:49Speaker 1: You talk properties hell, don't nobody know you are like you.
- 12:52Speaker 1: That's why I'm on the damn radio. I was like, okay, boy,
- 12:58Speaker 1: Shirley came in that first day, She'd be just looking
- 13:01Speaker 1: upside my head. I'm looking upside her and see it.
- 13:03Speaker 1: I said, well, whatever, you know, that's what can't be
- 13:08Speaker 1: my job. She can quit telling me how to talk.
- 13:13Speaker 1: I don't what's she talking about? Steve, did you mean
- 13:15Speaker 1: to say that? Yeah? I don't know another way saying.
- 13:20Speaker 1: I was just glad I did my homework so I
- 13:22Speaker 1: knew who I was dealing with. What happened when I
- 13:26Speaker 1: got there? All right, Steve coming up at thirty two
- 13:30Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we're gonna do ask the CLO
- 13:32Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey in the building right after this.
- 13:35Speaker 1: You're listening Steven show coming up at the top of
- 13:40Speaker 1: the hour. Swiss Beats, that's right, Swiss Beats with the
- 13:44Speaker 1: special guest. Yes, Swiss beats can't wait for that. Well,
- 13:48Speaker 1: time now to ask the CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey.
- 13:53Speaker 1: This one is from Billy in Ohio. Steve Billy right,
- 13:59Speaker 1: but listen to this, Billy Wrights. I'm tied up in
- 14:02Speaker 1: an affair with a woman that loved to have sex
- 14:05Speaker 1: on the back seat of her Chevy Tahoe. This past Sunday,
- 14:10Speaker 1: I was at church with my wife and she pulled
- 14:13Speaker 1: up to the church and texted me to come outside.
- 14:17Speaker 1: I left church and went to the back seat of
- 14:21Speaker 1: the tahoe. Afterwards, I nodded at the parking lot god
- 14:26Speaker 1: guard and uh, I went. When I'm back in church
- 14:30Speaker 1: the next Sunday, the security guard told me that my
- 14:33Speaker 1: secret was safe with him. Should I trust him or not?
- 14:37Speaker 1: The first of all? Dog? First of all? Should I
- 14:42Speaker 1: trust him or not? Let's start with you stupid Please, Yeah,
- 14:48Speaker 1: that dog. He's the security guard. You had to climb
- 14:54Speaker 1: in the back seat or y'all had to go into
- 14:56Speaker 1: the back seat. Either way, you went in the back
- 14:58Speaker 1: door or you climbed over the seat. He saw it,
- 15:00Speaker 1: and he tell you a man you'll seek You're safe
- 15:02Speaker 1: with me. Should I trust him. Okay, let's say you
- 15:06Speaker 1: don't trust him, what's your next move? Hold? Hold, let
- 15:14Speaker 1: me guess you're gonna have him killed? Dog? What the
- 15:21Speaker 1: hell can you possibly do? Can you trust him? Dog?
- 15:27Speaker 1: You're stupid? Man. We ain't answering that. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 15:30Speaker 1: you could trust him. Why did you go out there
- 15:32Speaker 1: and get in that cardown? I can't get past that
- 15:35Speaker 1: leaving out a church church? All right, billy, you're on
- 15:40Speaker 1: your own, so says the cello. All right. This one
- 15:44Speaker 1: is from New Mommy and Monroe, Louisiana. She says, I'm
- 15:47Speaker 1: a twenty four year old mother of a two year
- 15:49Speaker 1: old boy, and I'm engaged to a man that is
- 15:52Speaker 1: not my child's dad. He's planning to adopt my son
- 15:56Speaker 1: and he's already talking about how he's going to discipline him.
- 16:00Speaker 1: My son is at the age where he says no
- 16:03Speaker 1: to everything, and he thinks it's cute. My fiance says
- 16:06Speaker 1: it needs to stop now, and he needs something better
- 16:09Speaker 1: than the swat on his butt that I gave him.
- 16:12Speaker 1: He says he needs a leather strap on his butt.
- 16:15Speaker 1: But that's a bit harsh for a two year old.
- 16:17Speaker 1: How can I defend my baby from this? Well, I
- 16:20Speaker 1: think that's a little harsh for two years, and I
- 16:23Speaker 1: grew up in the spinks, but not at two. Now, brother,
- 16:27Speaker 1: you need to pull up and you need to talk
- 16:31Speaker 1: to you, to you, to your future husband about it,
- 16:35Speaker 1: because obviously he has no children. Anybody talking about striking
- 16:39Speaker 1: a baby at two, I'm just gonna say, you need more.
- 16:44Speaker 1: You need a strap on a two yeard? Are you
- 16:46Speaker 1: kidding me? Now? You can traumatize this baby. You need
- 16:49Speaker 1: to sit down and have a talk with him. And
- 16:52Speaker 1: I would suggest y'all probably need to go to some
- 16:55Speaker 1: type of counseling about child weary because that's so many
- 16:58Speaker 1: other ways raised children now. But I cannot condone a
- 17:03Speaker 1: guy coming in and tell about he needs something harder
- 17:05Speaker 1: than littles mat on it. But I think I think
- 17:07Speaker 1: that's dangerous. That's dangerous conversation. It's a science. Yeah, you
- 17:14Speaker 1: need to pull up to you get a real understanding
- 17:16Speaker 1: because you can't move this man in this house. And
- 17:18Speaker 1: he talked about the how severe he needed. It's a
- 17:21Speaker 1: two year old and he's going to adopt the spot. No.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I mean, I appreciate you loving him, but he's got
- 17:26Speaker 1: the wrong idea of discipline and definitely the wrong timing.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Two at a belt. Are you crazy? What two year
- 17:34Speaker 1: old doesn't say? No, that's terrible. It's the terrible tool.
- 17:38Speaker 1: You listen to me. You should buy him those books.
- 17:41Speaker 1: I forgot the name of it. Everybody used to give
- 17:43Speaker 1: it out to pregnant women to show you the stages
- 17:46Speaker 1: of development and the child and what they live for. Yeah. Yeah,
- 17:51Speaker 1: and you know, like by two they should be doing this.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Everybody tell you the first they learn no in the
- 17:58Speaker 1: twols and then start to shape themselves about lights and
- 18:02Speaker 1: dick slacks and so. No is a signist say that
- 18:06Speaker 1: I have a problem with what you say. It is
- 18:09Speaker 1: not being contrary. They just all say no. That's their
- 18:12Speaker 1: first little taste of independence. Yeah, that's it, that's all
- 18:16Speaker 1: it is. Yeah, they could walk now. Yeah, no, how
- 18:21Speaker 1: he messing your damn because he just said no. It's
- 18:24Speaker 1: beyond me. He told me no, he's not a good
- 18:28Speaker 1: candidate to not for a husband or a daddy. Out
- 18:32Speaker 1: of the question, man Mickey and Teenack New Jersey says,
- 18:36Speaker 1: my sister hooked me up with one of her co
- 18:38Speaker 1: workers and we went out on a blind day. The
- 18:41Speaker 1: day was great, and she offered to cook for our
- 18:43Speaker 1: second day. I got to her house ready to eat good,
- 18:47Speaker 1: and instead I was shocked by what I walked into.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Her shoes were all over the entrance to her place,
- 18:52Speaker 1: and cat hair was all on her kitchen seat cushions.
- 18:55Speaker 1: I could see her laundry room from the kitchen, and
- 18:58Speaker 1: it was full of piles of dirty underwear. I told
- 19:02Speaker 1: her I'd lost to my appetite and left. Now she's
- 19:05Speaker 1: giving my sister grief at work, and my sister is
- 19:08Speaker 1: mad at me. How is this my fault? Please help me.
- 19:11Speaker 1: It ain't. I'm not dating a trifle. The woman dog
- 19:17Speaker 1: you nasty's food all over your house, cat hair on
- 19:19Speaker 1: the thing. Well, I don't want your damn food. I
- 19:23Speaker 1: like eating in clean place. Now you knew I was coming,
- 19:25Speaker 1: You invited me over, and this is how your house looks.
- 19:28Speaker 1: This is knowing you coming. What's gonna happen when she
- 19:32Speaker 1: get comfortable with you coming up? So people normally put
- 19:37Speaker 1: their best foot forward. If this is the best foot,
- 19:39Speaker 1: I don't won't see the other foot, and I don't
- 19:41Speaker 1: give a damn. My sister mad at me? You dat
- 19:43Speaker 1: a nasty Yeah? All right, Destiny and Orlando, says the
- 19:47Speaker 1: guy I've been dating for three years, thinks he's a
- 19:50Speaker 1: relationship counselor because he posts videos of his life experiences
- 19:54Speaker 1: and girls flock to his post for advice. He responds
- 19:57Speaker 1: to their comments and flirts with them. He's say it's
- 20:00Speaker 1: all part of gaining trust, so the women will pay
- 20:02Speaker 1: to see him speak. His first paid event is in
- 20:05Speaker 1: two weeks in Vegas, and he hasn't invited me. Do
- 20:08Speaker 1: I trust the process and let him go? Or should
- 20:11Speaker 1: I buy my own ticket to Vegas? No? Look, if
- 20:15Speaker 1: he's your boyfriend, you didn't get invited. Secondly, why would
- 20:19Speaker 1: you buy a ticket to his event? Thirdly why would
- 20:24Speaker 1: he not invite you? And fourthly, why are you trying
- 20:28Speaker 1: to hang on to something that don't want to be
- 20:30Speaker 1: held on? Two? Three years? Three years he had dating expert,
- 20:34Speaker 1: he'd be flirting. He fit to go to Vegas and flirt.
- 20:37Speaker 1: All right, thank you? Up in the blocking Coming up
- 20:41Speaker 1: next it is the nephew would run that prank back
- 20:43Speaker 1: right after this you're listening. Coming up at the top
- 20:49Speaker 1: of the hour, Swiss Beats will be our very special guest.
- 20:53Speaker 1: He's here to tell us about the eighth studio album
- 20:57Speaker 1: from DMX. Of course that's posthumously. This is the name
- 21:01Speaker 1: of the album. Swiss Beats is going to share with
- 21:04Speaker 1: us some memories of his late great brother d MX
- 21:07Speaker 1: and we can't wait for that. But right now the
- 21:10Speaker 1: nephew is here in the building to make us laugh
- 21:13Speaker 1: a little bit with run that prank back. What do
- 21:16Speaker 1: you have for us today? Now? I got papers on

- 29:17Speaker 1: you this boy is behind some fierce, countless hits. I'm
- 29:24Speaker 1: talking about spanning over three decades, this legend right here.
- 29:27Speaker 1: One of his earliest beats was dmx Is nineteen ninety eight,
- 29:32Speaker 1: Rough Riders Anthem all his land to his long, long lasting,
- 29:37Speaker 1: long standing brotherhood and friendship with the late great DMX.
- 29:41Speaker 1: The earlier this year, he worked with a DMX to
- 29:44Speaker 1: put the final touches on his eighth studio album, and
- 29:47Speaker 1: the album is entitled Exodus. It will be released tomorrow
- 29:52Speaker 1: and he's here to talk about the new music and
- 29:54Speaker 1: about his friendship. Please welcome to the show, the one
- 29:58Speaker 1: and only, the super producer, the legend Switch beats An.
- 30:07Speaker 1: That's answer right there, thank you. That's what I do, Man,
- 30:11Speaker 1: I do, I do intros, I bring them out. You
- 30:14Speaker 1: bring him out, bring him out like you did on
- 30:16Speaker 1: Versions too. Baby brought a Jay something man and that
- 30:23Speaker 1: outfit show too. You know you're your big purple. I
- 30:31Speaker 1: got the theme music when you walking Baby. Hey, Switch Man,
- 30:39Speaker 1: let's talk about this man. DMX your brother. He named
- 30:42Speaker 1: his new album Exitus. That's after his youngest son exited
- 30:46Speaker 1: Simmons and we lost DMX way too soon back in April.
- 30:50Speaker 1: But you brought you guys. You guys were more than friends, man.
- 30:53Speaker 1: It was a real brotherhood between y'all. So how does
- 30:57Speaker 1: it feel for you man to have complete this final
- 31:00Speaker 1: project with man? It was a blessing in this guy.
- 31:05Speaker 1: You know, Um, I'm glad. I took him serious when
- 31:08Speaker 1: he when he told me he was ready, because we
- 31:11Speaker 1: always say we're ready and then you know, disappear and
- 31:15Speaker 1: don't show up and all of these things. But he
- 31:17Speaker 1: kept calling me letting you know he was ready, and
- 31:21Speaker 1: I tested him with Versus. I said, I'm gonna know
- 31:25Speaker 1: if he's ready if he showed up the verses. And
- 31:27Speaker 1: he showed up the verses with snow, and he got
- 31:31Speaker 1: his flowers, he got his garden. He also got his
- 31:34Speaker 1: confidence back because he's seen all of the love, and
- 31:37Speaker 1: he's seen everybody coming in and pulling in, and he's
- 31:40Speaker 1: seen his album start to break new records again and
- 31:43Speaker 1: streams going up seven hundred percent, artists young artists calling
- 31:48Speaker 1: him to do features. He was. He was so it
- 31:51Speaker 1: was happy, and he was so grateful for the love.
- 31:55Speaker 1: And he just said, you know what, Swift, I just
- 31:58Speaker 1: wish I had new music to play. I said, okay, well,
- 32:01Speaker 1: let's let's make some new music. And then, um, we
- 32:04Speaker 1: stayed in La at Snoop Studio where we did the
- 32:07Speaker 1: Versus and recorded the album right there. Wow. Wow, Yee
- 32:12Speaker 1: has to behind the scenes. A lot of people don't know, man,
- 32:14Speaker 1: That's that's why man, when you talk to creators, man,
- 32:17Speaker 1: you get to hear the story behind it, the science
- 32:21Speaker 1: behind it, man, which makes the story even richer. Hey Man.
- 32:24Speaker 1: On this album, Uh, Dr Max collaborated with some greats
- 32:28Speaker 1: man jay Z, Little Wayne, money Bag, Yo Snoop, your wife,
- 32:33Speaker 1: Alicia Keys, and uh does. Dr Max's son Exodus, is
- 32:37Speaker 1: also featured on the album what What Can We Expect?
- 32:40Speaker 1: Is this classic Dr Max? What Owsy's album? Man? It's
- 32:44Speaker 1: the masterpieces. But you know, the thing that I love
- 32:47Speaker 1: about this record is my brother embraced his age. You know,
- 32:51Speaker 1: a lot of great they don't embrace their greatness of noun.
- 32:55Speaker 1: They're trying to chase the greatness that they thought they want,
- 32:58Speaker 1: had not really that realizing that they're probably greaterst now
- 33:02Speaker 1: from the things that they've been through. And one sex
- 33:04Speaker 1: understood that. I knew he was gonna have a masterpiece
- 33:07Speaker 1: because he can totally be himself and invite other people
- 33:10Speaker 1: to his party. You know, his fifty a birthday party,
- 33:14Speaker 1: which you know, which this album is. This is his
- 33:16Speaker 1: fifty a birthday party, which is why we allowed so
- 33:18Speaker 1: many gets to participate because he never did that ever, ever,
- 33:22Speaker 1: before have this many features where he was like, you
- 33:24Speaker 1: know what, I want to invite everybody that I respect
- 33:28Speaker 1: to my fifth year birthday party with this album. And
- 33:30Speaker 1: that's the world here what I'm thinking today. You know.
- 33:33Speaker 1: The album start off cold and start off hard as hell,
- 33:37Speaker 1: and then he kicks that door in. He think he's
- 33:40Speaker 1: gonna stick up the place, but he really sit down
- 33:44Speaker 1: and give you a read. He reads his book to you. Wow. Yeah,
- 33:51Speaker 1: that's really heay Man. I'm seeing that his son Exodus.
- 33:54Speaker 1: This is the name of the album and it's also
- 33:57Speaker 1: the you know, the he's also featured on it his
- 34:02Speaker 1: son as his son spoken to you about how he
- 34:05Speaker 1: feels about it or anything. Well, his young son, uh
- 34:10Speaker 1: four going onto five. So when when we featuring him,
- 34:14Speaker 1: because he was singing a particularly he was singing a
- 34:16Speaker 1: part of the record in the studio and we just
- 34:18Speaker 1: happened to record him. But as far as the song
- 34:21Speaker 1: led it to my son which is about which is
- 34:23Speaker 1: a letter to his oldest son Xavier, out of respect,
- 34:27Speaker 1: I had Xavier listened to the album before I played
- 34:30Speaker 1: it for anyone, particularly so he could hear that song first,
- 34:34Speaker 1: you know, because x wasn't able to play a form.
- 34:37Speaker 1: So I had to take that responsibility in that respect
- 34:41Speaker 1: for my brother to let his son hear that song
- 34:44Speaker 1: first and not for the public. And I'm not going
- 34:47Speaker 1: I'm you know, I was playing him the album. I
- 34:49Speaker 1: was nervous as out getting to that song. I'm not
- 34:52Speaker 1: gonna lie. I was like, damn, well, I got to
- 34:53Speaker 1: play him this song. You know, you know he might
- 34:57Speaker 1: put out in this room on me. I don't know,
- 34:59Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, But when we got to the song
- 35:03Speaker 1: and he had a smile on his face, he started
- 35:05Speaker 1: clapping and he was holding his chest and the energy
- 35:09Speaker 1: was so good. And I was so happy that even
- 35:13Speaker 1: though his dad was giving him a strong message, he
- 35:16Speaker 1: accepted that message and he was proud of his dad
- 35:20Speaker 1: no matter what they went through, and even with Ector
- 35:23Speaker 1: saying in this song, he was really happy to hear
- 35:26Speaker 1: that his dad had an amazing body of work. And
- 35:29Speaker 1: that's what he kept saying with man, congratulations, congratulations. I
- 35:33Speaker 1: even often to play the guitar on the song because
- 35:36Speaker 1: he's a musician himself, and he said, the man, for
- 35:40Speaker 1: me to doing this record, it's done, it's a perfection already.
- 35:44Speaker 1: And I thought, I respect that so right there, for
- 35:46Speaker 1: one second, brother. We'll be back. Oh, we'll be back

- 36:28Speaker 1: seen another one out of the day. I just I
- 36:30Speaker 1: just I just kept it to myself. I didn't even
- 36:32Speaker 1: post it. But he's showing his ass a bell. You know,
- 36:35Speaker 1: he's showing his time. Let me show you how he's
- 36:40Speaker 1: showing off. Look at this. I can't make this up.
- 36:46Speaker 1: You ain't see me get up? You see that? Wow? Yeah,

- 37:10Speaker 1: I'm in the kitchen. I've never been down in this
- 37:13Speaker 1: place the day in my life. Yeah. And I didn't
- 37:16Speaker 1: notice it until you started, until you say what you
- 37:18Speaker 1: said about the X and the sky. Look at I
- 37:20Speaker 1: see the X raying on the walk Now. It's crazy, man.
- 37:23Speaker 1: You know, God is I've seen. I've seen some amazing
- 37:29Speaker 1: stuffs in my life. I'm not I'm not a believer
- 37:32Speaker 1: in coincidence. I'm just I just don't believe that every

- 40:27Speaker 1: That a Swiss that's you Yeah yeah gold blahla song
- 40:32Speaker 1: Open up My Window again. You know what's crazy about
- 40:37Speaker 1: that song is I was channeling that energy for X
- 40:41Speaker 1: to say that chorus, you know, because X is on
- 40:43Speaker 1: that song with Rick Ross. But I want I want
- 40:46Speaker 1: to Xer say that chorus. But um, X then want
- 40:50Speaker 1: me to change it. He's like, Noah, I like where
- 40:51Speaker 1: he signing. I said, I, nah, dog, you you put
- 40:55Speaker 1: a soul on it. You know, I could see X
- 40:58Speaker 1: doing it because X with a off that edge. But
- 41:02Speaker 1: but when you did it, man, he was smart because
- 41:05Speaker 1: you you have such a soul. Man, it's like a
- 41:09Speaker 1: damn damn damn Man. That's when I tune in to
- 41:12Speaker 1: hear that song, man, because that's that's like so dope.
- 41:15Speaker 1: I said this, this is some black mess right here.
- 41:18Speaker 1: This just this just black ass music. This hard. We
- 41:24Speaker 1: didn't hear clown and this apolo theater just to stump
- 41:28Speaker 1: this the tree a hope on one twenty fifth. That's it.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Hey man, listen, man, uh continue success man, and thank
- 41:37Speaker 1: you man from the bottom of my heart for loving
- 41:40Speaker 1: that brother the way you did, man, because you were
- 41:42Speaker 1: special to him. And I you know, I you know man,
- 41:46Speaker 1: you know I was watching his service online and the
- 41:50Speaker 1: words you was saying, man that you wish more people
- 41:53Speaker 1: had reached out to him when he was here. But
- 41:55Speaker 1: it's people like you, man, that that that are real friends.
- 41:58Speaker 1: And to be able to carry owned his absence the
- 42:01Speaker 1: way you have and and to finish this album for
- 42:04Speaker 1: your brother, that's a testament to what friendship is about.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Friendship is essential to the soul. You can live in
- 42:09Speaker 1: this world without your brother. You can live in there.
- 42:13Speaker 1: You can your mother and father can turn up missing.
- 42:16Speaker 1: But you can't live in this world without friendship. Brother,

- 42:24Speaker 1: his brother and his friend. Man, we thank you for that, man, yeah, man,
- 42:29Speaker 1: you know. And and for me, I only did what
- 42:31Speaker 1: I'm supposed to do. I'm only doing what I'm supposed
- 42:34Speaker 1: to do. You know, if I call out my brother,
- 42:37Speaker 1: I have to do what I'm doing and I don't
- 42:38Speaker 1: get no points for it because it's what I'm supposed
- 42:41Speaker 1: to do. That's like, that's being a good father to
- 42:44Speaker 1: our kids like that. We don't get points for that.
- 42:46Speaker 1: We with that kid, you know, so if we get
- 42:50Speaker 1: you know, people like to give credit for these things
- 42:52Speaker 1: because not enough people are doing it, you know, not
- 42:55Speaker 1: enough people are being real in those particular areas. But
- 42:59Speaker 1: I just I'm just doing what I'm supposed to be doing.
- 43:01Speaker 1: You know, I haven't I haven't been sleep all week.
- 43:04Speaker 1: You know, we've been going since the funeral to get
- 43:07Speaker 1: this going. But I just know that he would have
- 43:10Speaker 1: did it for me, you know, he chucked me with
- 43:12Speaker 1: his life image. Hey brother, look man, we appreciate you

- 44:56Speaker 1: or Sammy. I'm not sure which one. Sammy. This Sammy?
- 45:01Speaker 1: What's up? Hey Sammy? How are you? This is uh,
- 45:03Speaker 1: this is Kevin. I'm the uh the manager over here
- 45:06Speaker 1: at Fresh and Clean Washing Fold. Yeah, well, what's going on? Kevin? Um?
- 45:10Speaker 1: You bring your clothes here pretty much on a on
- 45:12Speaker 1: a weekly basis? Is that correct? Yeah? I stopped through
- 45:15Speaker 1: probably once a week. Okay, and you're bringing you know,
- 45:17Speaker 1: I mean you're pretty much bringing a full load of
- 45:19Speaker 1: clothes pretty much once a week, right, Yeah, I just
- 45:22Speaker 1: bring whatever I got Okay. Um, well we got a
- 45:25Speaker 1: bit of a problem talking to my my employees here
- 45:28Speaker 1: that have been what's going on? I mean you not
- 45:33Speaker 1: get your money or something? Oh no, no, no, you
- 45:35Speaker 1: you we have you on file. Your your your card
- 45:37Speaker 1: goes through every week when you when you bring your things,
- 45:40Speaker 1: So no, that's that's not the issue at all. I'll
- 45:43Speaker 1: write them, what kind of problem could we have? Well,
- 45:46Speaker 1: the ladies that are watching the clothes are complaining that
- 45:49Speaker 1: when you bring your load in. I mean, I don't
- 45:51Speaker 1: know how to really tell you this, but you're you're
- 45:53Speaker 1: saying that your underwear is too dirty. They don't want
- 45:55Speaker 1: to wash it. You know you're playing right. No, I'm
- 46:00Speaker 1: dead serious. What are you talking about? My underwear is dirty?
- 46:04Speaker 1: I'm not any more dirty than anybody else, sir. All
- 46:07Speaker 1: I can tell you is we watch quite a few
- 46:09Speaker 1: people's clothes on a daily basis, weekly basis. For my
- 46:13Speaker 1: employees to complain about your load, then I have to
- 46:17Speaker 1: give you a call and talk to you about it.
- 46:19Speaker 1: My man, I feel like you around on my phone. No,
- 46:22Speaker 1: that's not what this is, bro. This is actually a
- 46:24Speaker 1: call and I and you know we have we have
- 46:26Speaker 1: two options. Are you out there calling everybody else? No,
- 46:30Speaker 1: I don't have. I haven't had a complaint. I know
- 46:33Speaker 1: there's more dirty people than me going in your spot
- 46:35Speaker 1: because I see them. Okay, here's the deal. We have
- 46:39Speaker 1: two options here. You can scrub your underwear before you
- 46:43Speaker 1: bring it in. First off, you over here raising your voice. Now,
- 46:47Speaker 1: what are you talking about? Scrub my underwear? We clean? Man,
- 46:50Speaker 1: I'm clean. I bring my thin, I drop it off,
- 46:52Speaker 1: I pick it up. Okay, So here's the problem once again,
- 46:55Speaker 1: I'll start this off. You have two options, sir. You
- 46:58Speaker 1: can bring in your scrubbed okay, when and when my
- 47:03Speaker 1: ladies take a look at it. If they're comfortable with
- 47:04Speaker 1: cleaning it, so be it. Or you know, we might
- 47:07Speaker 1: not be able to accept your your clothes anymore. Man,
- 47:10Speaker 1: I don't even got to go up there anymore. Then
- 47:11Speaker 1: if you if you really playing around on my phone
- 47:14Speaker 1: like this, I ain't even got to go up in anymore.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Let me talk to your manager. Man, I am the manager, Sir,
- 47:20Speaker 1: I'm Kevin manager. You don't sound like the manager. You
- 47:25Speaker 1: what what? What? What does a manager sound like? Then? Sammy,
- 47:28Speaker 1: you know who owned a building? Let me talk to him. Okay,
- 47:31Speaker 1: here's out here right now. I'm the manager and I'm
- 47:33Speaker 1: the one taking care of this problem. My ladies have
- 47:35Speaker 1: a problem with watching your underwear, and I'm calling you
- 47:38Speaker 1: to let you know there's a problem. I'm letting you know.
- 47:40Speaker 1: The way to rectify the problem is you can scrub
- 47:42Speaker 1: them before you bring them in. And then we will
- 47:44Speaker 1: wash them. If you do not want to do that,
- 47:46Speaker 1: we will not be allowed to take you. Ain't got
- 47:49Speaker 1: to rectify. You just need to quit calling my phone
- 47:51Speaker 1: on this boot. I ain't gonna go up there any more.
- 47:53Speaker 1: Then that's fun. I ain't got to come through your spot.
- 47:55Speaker 1: That's fun. Do you know how dirty how funky your
- 47:58Speaker 1: clothes gotta be? Man? For my for my people to
- 48:01Speaker 1: be telling me they don't want to wash them, the
- 48:02Speaker 1: more you know how funky that's got to be, Sammy, Man?
- 48:06Speaker 1: Who your people? Who are your ladies? Man? I go
- 48:09Speaker 1: up in there. I ain't never had a problem with
- 48:10Speaker 1: they are you know what? I ain't never even seen
- 48:12Speaker 1: you're supping as mother? What if you've been out there? Now?
- 48:16Speaker 1: It looks like I got a problem with Kevin. Who
- 48:18Speaker 1: the fuck is Kevin? Man? You say you the manager?
- 48:20Speaker 1: You ain't never been there. I'm here. I'm just not
- 48:23Speaker 1: here when you're here? Are you in the back washing
- 48:25Speaker 1: those drawers? Going on with you? Man? I'm not in
- 48:28Speaker 1: I'm not in the back watching, but I am. I
- 48:30Speaker 1: am here periodically when I need to be. Don't worry
- 48:33Speaker 1: about when I'm at work, man, I ain't never seen
- 48:35Speaker 1: your ass, and I ain't never had a problem with
- 48:36Speaker 1: your lady. Hey, well, I don't worry about when I'm
- 48:38Speaker 1: at work, worry about how to scrub your underwear. That's
- 48:42Speaker 1: what you worry about. Man. I'm done with you, Bro.
- 48:47Speaker 1: What you want my phone doing this for you? Man?
- 48:50Speaker 1: You know your ass? If everybody at that month washing fae, Bro,
- 48:54Speaker 1: you know what? You know what. I'm trying to be
- 48:56Speaker 1: as professional as I can. But the way that you're
- 48:58Speaker 1: talking to me, you can wash your dad. I'm close
- 49:00Speaker 1: your own self. Then that's what you can do. That's fun, man,
- 49:04Speaker 1: and you can keep on managing the god laundry. Man,
- 49:07Speaker 1: whatever are you doing with your life? Okay, we'll do
- 49:09Speaker 1: whatever you're doing with your life, but do do the
- 49:12Speaker 1: world a favor and clean your draws. B I'm gonna
- 49:15Speaker 1: come through and wash your You keep talking around on
- 49:18Speaker 1: my phone. Hey, how you want to do this? Here's
- 49:20Speaker 1: what I'm gonna do. I'm just letting you know. I'm
- 49:23Speaker 1: gonna double charge your credit card for the mind of
- 49:25Speaker 1: work that my people had to do closet. I'm putting
- 49:30Speaker 1: a stop payment of mind. So if that goes through
- 49:32Speaker 1: on your end, we're gonna have problem. Well, I don't
- 49:35Speaker 1: know how you're gonna put a stop to it. When
- 49:36Speaker 1: I'm running your card right now, there's nothing you can
- 49:39Speaker 1: freaking do. Okay, Okay, that's that's fine. I'm gonna I'm
- 49:42Speaker 1: gonna show up at the Fresh and Clean there. You're
- 49:43Speaker 1: the manager. You should be there fifty hours a week.
- 49:45Speaker 1: Then I'm gonna come meet your Keevin. Okay, well, that's
- 49:48Speaker 1: that's fine with me. You know what, I don't understand.
- 49:50Speaker 1: Why can't you just say, you know what, let me
- 49:52Speaker 1: do a better job at cleaning my underwear? How about that?
- 49:56Speaker 1: I know I know your life ain't that good. I
- 49:58Speaker 1: know you over there managing the game Modred and now
- 50:01Speaker 1: you're getting bored at working. But don't be calling my

- 53:44Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter. Thank you few. Subject He's doing the
- 53:49Speaker 1: job for now. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a forty seven
- 53:53Speaker 1: year old divorced female and I'm in need of advice.
- 53:57Speaker 1: I'm in management at my company and i own two
- 54:00Speaker 1: properties and a boat. I have two nice cars, and
- 54:03Speaker 1: I'm very active in my community with cherries charities and
- 54:07Speaker 1: civic organizations. After I got a divorce, I vowed to
- 54:11Speaker 1: live my life on my own terms and treat men
- 54:14Speaker 1: as an option, not a necessity. My ex husband cheated
- 54:18Speaker 1: on me, and it made me bitter at first, but
- 54:21Speaker 1: I moved past it. What I was missing the most
- 54:24Speaker 1: from being married for nine years was the intimacy. I
- 54:28Speaker 1: joined an online dating site to meet a man just
- 54:31Speaker 1: for sex. I met a guy that is forty one
- 54:35Speaker 1: and never been married with no children. We have the
- 54:38Speaker 1: same goal of casually hanging out and having sex. I
- 54:42Speaker 1: had a full background check done on him to make
- 54:44Speaker 1: sure he was not a serial killer, and on our
- 54:47Speaker 1: first date, I paid for dinner because he said his
- 54:50Speaker 1: account had been flagged for fraudulent activity and it would
- 54:54Speaker 1: take up to twenty four hours to reverse the charges.
- 54:57Speaker 1: I didn't think anything of it because I've had fraudulent
- 55:00Speaker 1: charges before. My friends always say I have plenty of
- 55:03Speaker 1: book sense but no common sense, But I believe that
- 55:06Speaker 1: people have good intentions until they prove me wrong. Well,
- 55:10Speaker 1: he's proven that he's a shiftless bum with no real job,
- 55:15Speaker 1: place to live or own, or his own car. What
- 55:19Speaker 1: he does have going for him is unbelievably good sex.
- 55:23Speaker 1: And I get the full head to toe performance almost daily.
- 55:27Speaker 1: The sex is so good it's clouded my judgment, and
- 55:30Speaker 1: I've started taking him out to events with me. I
- 55:34Speaker 1: don't think I'll ever develop feelings for this man, but
- 55:37Speaker 1: I do get a little jealous if other women compliment him.
- 55:41Speaker 1: Am I playing a dangerous game and will end up
- 55:43Speaker 1: hurt again? Listen, listen, You're whipped. Okay, you're whipped. You're whipped,
- 55:51Speaker 1: and you're probably already in love with this guy. Even
- 55:55Speaker 1: though you don't think you are, you probably are. That's
- 55:57Speaker 1: why you say, well, I end up hurt again because
- 55:59Speaker 1: it's death. You're not there. You're headed in that direction.
- 56:02Speaker 1: You're getting jealous of other women that compliment him, and
- 56:06Speaker 1: you say your judgment is clouded. You called him a
- 56:10Speaker 1: shiftless bum, yet you're still sleeping with him and taking
- 56:14Speaker 1: him two events with you. Now. Your friends know it too,
- 56:18Speaker 1: because they know you. And this is what happens when
- 56:21Speaker 1: you blame all men for your husband's cheating. Your husband
- 56:25Speaker 1: is just one man, I mean, don't put that on
- 56:28Speaker 1: all men. I think that's why you're where you are
- 56:31Speaker 1: right now. I think you're scared of your feelings for this,
- 56:34Speaker 1: for this guy. Because one man cheated on you, you
- 56:37Speaker 1: decided to shut your heart down, never be vulnerable or
- 56:40Speaker 1: open again. And that's what you meant when you said
- 56:43Speaker 1: you're going to treat men as an option and just
- 56:45Speaker 1: have them for sex. Well, he's using you for more
- 56:48Speaker 1: than that. Okay. He has no job, he has no car,
- 56:53Speaker 1: he has no home. Now here you are knowing that
- 56:56Speaker 1: you're in the danger zone of falling in love with
- 56:58Speaker 1: this guy, with this shiftless as you call him, because
- 57:03Speaker 1: he gives you unbelievably good sex every day again your words.
- 57:07Speaker 1: Of course, you're gonna start feeling some kind of way
- 57:09Speaker 1: about him. If you're doing this every day and you
- 57:12Speaker 1: know you guys are kicking it and hanging out. It
- 57:14Speaker 1: doesn't matter how many material things you have, how much
- 57:17Speaker 1: control you want to be. You're a woman with real
- 57:19Speaker 1: emotions and really real feelings. Now for this shiftless bomb.
- 57:23Speaker 1: That's why your friends say you have no common sense.
- 57:26Speaker 1: He's starting to break you all the way down. What
- 57:29Speaker 1: you should do is give yourself time to heal from
- 57:32Speaker 1: the hurt of your marriage, not blame all men and
- 57:36Speaker 1: go from bad to worse. You can't go from bad
- 57:38Speaker 1: to worse. That's what you've done with this shiftless bomb, Steve,
- 57:45Speaker 1: listen all the stuff, Shirley said, It is fine. I
- 57:48Speaker 1: agree with everything. Shirley said, I just want to break
- 57:51Speaker 1: to let it down. That's all I'm here for. I
- 57:53Speaker 1: don't even kill I know this, let us stupid town. Now,
- 57:59Speaker 1: you forty said, I your old divorce woman, and you
- 58:02Speaker 1: need advice. I'm in management at my company. I own
- 58:06Speaker 1: two properties and a boat. I'm to assume that this
- 58:12Speaker 1: boat happened doing the divorce. I know very few women
- 58:17Speaker 1: who go out by boats. I don't. I know very few.
- 58:21Speaker 1: That are some women who do it. I know a
- 58:23Speaker 1: woman who owns a yacht that she charters out big yachts.
- 58:28Speaker 1: It'd be over in the south of France and everywhere.
- 58:31Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, I know another woman that
- 58:33Speaker 1: bought a yacht overseas too. But you ain't say yacht,
- 58:38Speaker 1: you said boat. I'm thinking fishing boat, ski boat, made
- 58:42Speaker 1: this se racer, dan Bridge, two nice cars. You're active
- 58:49Speaker 1: in the community with charities and CIFICA. Well after you
- 58:52Speaker 1: got divorce. Now you've vowed to live your life and
- 58:55Speaker 1: treat me in as an option out of necessity. That's
- 58:57Speaker 1: your business. The US been cheated on me. You was
- 59:00Speaker 1: bitter at first, but you moved past it, and what
- 59:03Speaker 1: you're missing most of all for nine years was the intimacy.
- 59:06Speaker 1: So you got online and you needed to meet a man.
- 59:10Speaker 1: This is you now to meet a man just for sex.
- 59:13Speaker 1: I met a guy that's forty one, never been married,
- 59:17Speaker 1: no children, had the same goals of casually hanging out
- 59:21Speaker 1: and having said, now you'd have met somebody same goals
- 59:24Speaker 1: as you. But now looking at it, he ain't never
- 59:26Speaker 1: been married, he ain't got no kids, He foughty one.
- 59:30Speaker 1: He on the dating site. He looking for guess what,
- 59:32Speaker 1: the same thing you're looking for. Just sex. There you go.
- 59:37Speaker 1: So now everything out to this letter is stupid to me.
- 59:42Speaker 1: Any complaints you have, any any second guesses, any regrets,
- 59:49Speaker 1: it don't mean nothing to me because you just said
- 59:53Speaker 1: you joined the online dating site to meet him man
- 59:56Speaker 1: just for sex, and I met him man forty one,
- 59:59Speaker 1: ain't never been married, and he got the same goals
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: for CASMI hanging out and having said, come on, sugar,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: we'll have part two of Steven's response coming up at
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. He's doing the job
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: for now, as the subject we'll get back into it
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter of the
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: subject he's doing the job for now. Well, you know,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: here we go. Forty seven year old divorce woman need advice.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: She got some properties in the boat, two nice calls,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: active in the community with charities and the cynic organization.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Sound like a real together woman. And you vowed after
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: divorce to live your own terms and treat me in
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: as an option out in the necessity that, like I said,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: that should be as my ex husband cheated on me
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: and I was bid at first, but I moved past it.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: The only thing you and miss was nine years of intimacy,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: So in order to fix that, you joined an online
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: dating site to meet a man. Here's the key to
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: this whole letter. Went online dating site to meet a
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: man just for sex. I met a guy that is
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: forty one, never been married, no children, and we have
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: the same goal of casually hanging out and having sex.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: So now mission accomplished. Everything else in this letter is
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: of mute point. Why are you still typing moot? I
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: like the mute because you're quick talking to me, moot,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: I don't know what that means, so I've always mute,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: like stop talking side. But anyway, you want to come
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: up and in talk about this about you all this,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: So now everything out to this that don't make no
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: sense to me. So here we go. Let's make no sense.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: I did a full background check only make sure he
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: was not a serial killer. That's easy. Well, got that. Wait,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: he ain't killed nobody. Come on over to my house.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: So you did that on our first date, right after
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: you found out he wasn't a sy serial killer. On
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: our first date, I paid for dinner because he said
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: his account had been flagged for fraudulent activity and we
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: would take up to twenty four hours to reverse the charge.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: He ain't got dinner money. All his money on that
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: card right there. He can't pay for dinner. But he
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: can't pay for dinner. Y'all agreed just to have sex,
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: but he didn't bring no money for that. Now I
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: pay for dinner because he said his account had been
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: flagged for fraudulent activity and it would take up twenty
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: four hours to research shar you believe it. I didn't
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: think anything of it because I've had fraudulent charges before. Yeah,
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: you have, but I bet you still had money to eat. Okay,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: my friends always say I got plenty of books since,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: but no conversation. You don't. But I believe that people
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: have good intentions, and they proved me wrong. No, No,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: that's not the way you should live. You're a lady,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: and you got to take a different approach. I am
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: carefully listening to you with reservations and caution until you
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: show me that I have no reason to be cautious.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: That's the approach in this modern, falling world that we
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: live in for women. You don't go in believe in
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: everything anybody tell you what in this fallen world you
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: have no business talking about. I believe what people have
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: good intentions, as they prove me wrong. No, I am
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: listening to you with a cautious ear, with my ears pinback,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: and I am listening and waiting on you to prove
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: to me that I can relax and let my guard down.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: Until then they up. Duke's up, all right, Well he's
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: proven that he's a shiftless bum with no real job
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: or place to live or his own car. Well, you
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: said you were just looking for men to have sex.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: You didn't have none of these requirements. You asked just
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: for sex. You ain't looking for security, maturity, financially stable, trustworthy?
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: What none of that in your dating profile? Who are here?
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: Want to have sex? That's it? You gonna just went
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: on tender. You gotta just swipe race White left. See,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: you got what you asked for him. He ain't got
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: his own car. But what does he have going for
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: him is unbelievable good sex, and I get the forehead
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: to two performance almost daily. Well, people that ain't working,
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: they're really good. That's it. They had time. Some of
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: my performances ain't that good because I'd be tied. Huh Hello,
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: Why because I got a bunch of damn jobs. But
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: dexter sitting around on his ass all day? Yeah he Readymm,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: you get a whole head to toe. He ain't done
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: nothing else all daymn day long. He ain't got a car.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: So now the sex is so good that it's clouded
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: my judgment. And I started taking him out to events
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: with me. I don't. I don't think i'll ever develop
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: feelings for this man. You're stupid, you already have. Your
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: judgment is clouded. You're taking a loser around with you.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: You're taking them to company Vince. He don't even know
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: how to spell company. But I do get a little
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: jealous when other men other women complimented him. Am I
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: playing a dangerous game and what I end up hurt?
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: You already know what it is headed you. It's hard
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: to have good sex and then don't feel nothing for nobody,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: because if you release these chemicals in your body, I
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: don't know what forgot what they call and dolphins and
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: something else? Start with the older women have and you
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: released that you feel something for this man. I don't
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: know what the oxy cord in oxy? You know what?
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: All right? We got girl seven car You gonna leave

- 1:10:33Speaker 1: a little too clingy, little territorial too. I don't I
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: don't know. So he doesn't know a little bit. Yeah,
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: he doesn't know if he's still feeling her. What do
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: you think about that? You know what? Already know the outcome.

- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Thank you nephew Tommy. Let's move on. Married to medicine,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: doctor Simone and her husband invited Toya and her husband,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: doctor Eugene, doctor contestant, doctor Scott over. They had like
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: a little dinner party for the couples and doctor contesta,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: doctor Scott. We talked about this last week. Surely they're
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: having marital problems and doctor Simone and her husband Cecil
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: told them that they need to have communication and compromise
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: and that's what they need to do in their marriage.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: And that was their marital advice. And I thought that
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: that was pretty good. They had. They had a moment.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: You know, it looks like the couple they were talking
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: to each other. They were on the couch having drinks,
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: and you know, they kind of said what they were
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: going to start doing better. So we'll see, we'll see.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Rooting for them, hope they can out work everything out.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: This birthday party that they attended and this Indian Culture
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: Holy event that Annila hosted, it seemed like there was
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: some hope that the ladies would work out their friendship.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: But they just threw color at each other, and the
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: beef continued. Honey and the drama continue, same old, same on.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: Anila and Toya feels that Annila is not loyal, so
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: I will keep watching telling you all about that. And

- 1:16:03Speaker 1: a student. And how are you? Yeah? All right, We'll
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: at thirty three minutes after the hour. Right after this,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well time
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: now to ask the CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: This one is from Billy in Ohio. Steve Billy Right,
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: but listen to this Billy Rights. I'm tied up in
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: an affair with a woman that loved to have sex
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: on the back seat of her Chevy Tahoe. This past Sunday,
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: I was at church with my wife and she pulled
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: up to the church and texted me to come outside.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: I left church and went to the back seat of
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: the tahoe. Afterwards, I'm nodded at the parking lot guard
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: and I went on back in church. The next Sunday,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: the security guard told me that my secret was safe
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: with him. Should I trust him or not? First of all, dog,
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: First of all, should I trust him or not? Let's
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: start with you, stupid dog. He to security God, if
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: you had to climb in the back seat or y'all
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: had to go into the back seat. Either way you
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: went in the back door or you climbed over the seat,
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: he saw it, and he tell you, a man, your
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: secrets safe with me. Should I trust him? Okay, let's
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: say you don't trust him? What's your next move? What hold? Hold?
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: Let me guess you're gonna have him killed? Dog? What
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: the hell can you possibly do? Can you trust him, dog,
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: you're stupid. Man. We ain't answering that. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: you can trust him. Why did you go out there
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: and get in that cordo? Out of church? Church? The church?
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: All right, billy, you're on your own, so says the cello.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: All right. This one is from new Mommy in Monroe, Louisiana.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: She says, I'm a twenty four year old mother of
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: a two year old boy, and I'm engaged to a
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: man that is not my child's dad. He's planning to
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: adopt my son and he's already talking about how he's
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: going to discipline him. My son is at the age
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: where he says no to everything, and he thinks it's cute.
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: My fiance says it needs to stop now, and he
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: needs something better than the swat on his butt that
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: I gave him. He says, he needs a leather strap
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: on his butt. But that's a bit harsh for a
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: two year old. How can I defend my baby from this? Well,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: I think that's a little harsh. For years, and I
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: grew up spinks, but not a two No, brother, you
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: need to pull and you need to talk to you
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: to your future husband about it, because obviously he has
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: no children. Anybody talking about striking a baby at two
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: I'm just gonna say, you need more than you need
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: a strap on a two yard Are you kidding me? Now,
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: you've been traumatized it, but you need to sit down
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: and have a talk with him. I would suggest y'all
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: probably need to go to some type of counseling about
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: child weary, because that's so many other ways to raise children. Now,
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: coming up at forty nine minutes after the hour, our
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: last break of the day, and of course Steve Harvey
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: will have some closing remarks right after this. You're listening,
