- 0:01Speaker 1: Elam Omar is supporting the pro genocide students at Colombia.
- 0:06Speaker 1: We've now been told that for the rest of this year,
- 0:09Speaker 1: basically the calendar year up until graduation, they're going online
- 0:15Speaker 1: learning at Columbia because the University of Colombia has lost
- 0:18Speaker 1: total control of their campus and is complete another chaos.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Now we also know who's behind paying for these violent
- 0:26Speaker 1: and extremist events. I'm going to have that for you
- 0:28Speaker 1: in a second, but I want you to hear what
- 0:30Speaker 1: Alamo Mar says about the Jewish students at Columbia University.
- 0:35Speaker 2: This is a member of the United States Congress.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Listen carefully, how do you think this will translate to
- 0:39Speaker 3: the Jewish students who are facing anti summatism here on campus.
- 0:42Speaker 2: So I actually met a lot of.
- 0:44Speaker 4: Jewish students that are in the encampmets, and I think
- 0:48Speaker 4: it is really unfortunate that people don't care about the
- 0:52Speaker 4: fact that all Jewish kids should be kept safe and
- 0:55Speaker 4: that we should not have to tolerate anti semitism or
- 1:00Speaker 4: bigotry for all Jewish students, whether they are pro genocide
- 1:04Speaker 4: or anti genocide.
- 1:06Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I think it's really unfortunate that people don't
- 1:10Speaker 1: care about the fact that all Jewish kids should be
- 1:13Speaker 1: kept safe. And then she says, I just got to
- 1:18Speaker 1: read this correctly. We should not have to tolerate anti
- 1:22Speaker 1: Semitism or bigotry for all Jewish students, whether they are
- 1:25Speaker 1: pro genocide or anti genocide.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Sol Mar just.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Said that Jewish students at Columbia should be protected even
- 1:35Speaker 1: if they are pro genocide.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Did you hear that.
- 1:41Speaker 1: I actually met a lot of Jewish students, she says,
- 1:43Speaker 1: that are in the encampments. I don't believe that, and
- 1:46Speaker 1: I think it's really unfortunate that people don't care about
- 1:49Speaker 1: the fact that all Jewish kids should be kept safe.
- 1:51Speaker 1: So the Jewish kids are in the encampment that are
- 1:54Speaker 1: pro genocide killing all Jews, and they're Jewish, she's claiming.
- 1:58Speaker 2: She's saying, well, they should be protected.
- 2:01Speaker 1: This is a member of the United States Congress who
- 2:04Speaker 1: is out there saying this right now, and she's walking
- 2:09Speaker 1: around campus. Now, this is completely different than what Mike
- 2:14Speaker 1: Johnson had to say. Speaker of the House went to
- 2:17Speaker 1: Columbia University to look these radical anti Semits who want
- 2:23Speaker 1: to go back to Hitler, the time of Hitler in
- 2:26Speaker 1: World War Two and get rid of all the Jews.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I'm glad that the Speaker of the House went by
- 2:32Speaker 1: the way he should have gone and said very clearly,
- 2:36Speaker 1: we are not going to stand for this. These universities
- 2:39Speaker 1: should be held accountable for what they are doing right now.
- 2:43Speaker 1: And what Johnson said at Columbia University, and you can
- 2:48Speaker 1: hear the kids in the background screaming and yelling at
- 2:51Speaker 1: him is something that.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Every elected official should be saying.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Unfortunately, it is not what is being said at all
- 3:00Speaker 1: in this country because of people like Olama mar and
- 3:04Speaker 1: others that are sitting there.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Take a listen.
- 3:07Speaker 5: Let me say this very simply. No American of any
- 3:10Speaker 5: color or creed should ever have to live under those
- 3:13Speaker 5: kinds of threats. That is not who we are in
- 3:15Speaker 5: this country. Sadly, Columbia's administrators have chosen to let the threats,
- 3:22Speaker 5: the fear, and the intimidation of the mob rule to
- 3:25Speaker 5: overtake American principles like free speech and the free free
- 3:29Speaker 5: exchange of ideas and the free exercise of religion. They
- 3:33Speaker 5: have co opted First Amendment arguments to protect genocide and
- 3:38Speaker 5: to elevate the voices of anti Semitism. They have proven
- 3:42Speaker 5: themselves to be incapable of achieving their basic responsibility, which
- 3:46Speaker 5: is keeping students safe. We just can't allow this kind
- 3:50Speaker 5: of hatred and anti semitism to flourish on our campuses,
- 3:54Speaker 5: and it must be stopped in its tracks. Those who
- 3:57Speaker 5: are perpetrating this violence should be arrested. And I'm here today.
- 4:01Speaker 5: I am here today joining my colleagues and calling on
- 4:05Speaker 5: President Chaffi to resign if she cannot immediately bring order
- 4:09Speaker 5: to this chaos. A Speaker of the House, I am
- 4:14Speaker 5: committing today that the Congress will not be silent as
- 4:17Speaker 5: Jewish students are expected to run for their lives and
- 4:21Speaker 5: stay home from their classes, hiding in fear. In the
- 4:24Speaker 5: House of Representatives, We've already acted to address anti semitism
- 4:27Speaker 5: on campuses. We have passed a number of statutes to
- 4:30Speaker 5: address this matter, and we call upon the US Senate
- 4:33Speaker 5: to act upon our legislation now.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Johnson immediately taking massive heat for calling for a president
- 4:43Speaker 1: of the university that's lost total control of her campus,
- 4:46Speaker 1: that is not keeping Jewish students safe, and has also
- 4:50Speaker 1: been pretty clear that she's not a big fan of
- 4:53Speaker 1: the Jewish people. So when Johnson said this, he was
- 4:58Speaker 1: immediately challenged, right Aaron Burnett Overridge CNN gets in the
- 5:03Speaker 1: speaker's face. Well, hold on, mister speaker, why do you
- 5:07Speaker 1: need to get involved in the removal of a president
- 5:09Speaker 1: of a private university?
- 5:11Speaker 2: Listen to this.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Is there anything Israel could do that would be over
- 5:14Speaker 3: the line for you, because when you talk about stamping
- 5:16Speaker 3: it out, I mean many innocent children have died and
- 5:20Speaker 3: are dying at Israel's hands and the idea they have.
- 5:25Speaker 6: There have been civilians murdered, but that is not the
- 5:27Speaker 6: fault of Israel. It's the fault of the terrorists, the
- 5:29Speaker 6: Hamas operators and soldiers, the terrorists who have used these
- 5:34Speaker 6: people and put them into harm's way. Israel, I'm convinced,
- 5:38Speaker 6: is doing its very best to prevent civilian casualties. But
- 5:41Speaker 6: this is a war and they're fighting for their very existence,
- 5:44Speaker 6: and they are not the aggressors. It is the other side.
- 5:47Speaker 6: Some of the people here seem not to understand that,
- 5:49Speaker 6: and I think that's a real problem. We can debate
- 5:51Speaker 6: the merits of all these things, but what they're doing
- 5:54Speaker 6: here is intimidating Jewish students. That's the thing that is
- 5:57Speaker 6: so problematic.
- 5:58Speaker 3: All right, So let me ask you about that, because
- 5:59Speaker 3: when it comes to that. The NYPD, at least as
- 6:01Speaker 3: of Monday, said they've not received a single call from
- 6:05Speaker 3: Columbia University of reports of any physical harm.
- 6:08Speaker 6: Well, no physical harm, right, But you have to speak
- 6:11Speaker 6: to these Jewish students who are in fear of their lives,
- 6:13Speaker 6: who are cowering in their apartments right now, who are
- 6:16Speaker 6: not coming to class. In fact, the administration recognized the
- 6:19Speaker 6: threat was so great they canceled classes. Now they've come
- 6:21Speaker 6: out with this hybrid idea. Well, if you're Jewish, maybe
- 6:24Speaker 6: you do want to stay at home, maybe it'd be
- 6:25Speaker 6: better off for you. But it's so discriminatory, it's so
- 6:28Speaker 6: wrong in every way. The responsibility of a university administrator
- 6:32Speaker 6: is to keep peace on campus and ensure the safety
- 6:35Speaker 6: of students job number one. If they're uncapable of doing that,
- 6:38Speaker 6: then you need different leadership. I think this is time
- 6:40Speaker 6: for a really strong hand.
- 6:42Speaker 3: I'm trying to understand, though, why, a Speaker of the House,
- 6:44Speaker 3: this is an issue you would want to get involved with.
- 6:46Speaker 3: It's a private university, it's an issue happening here. Why
- 6:50Speaker 3: is this something that you are choosing to get involved
- 6:52Speaker 3: in and calling for the removal of a president of
- 6:54Speaker 3: a private university.
- 6:55Speaker 6: Well, they receive federal funding as well, and Congress is
- 6:58Speaker 6: looking at all of these aspects to determine how they're
- 7:01Speaker 6: using those funds. Is that appropriate if they can't fulfill
- 7:05Speaker 6: their basic obligations. I don't think the American taxpayers want
- 7:08Speaker 6: to be funding this kind of thing. We know that
- 7:10Speaker 6: professors are engaging in this as well, some of the
- 7:13Speaker 6: professors some have been supportive of the Jewish students, But
- 7:16Speaker 6: I believe it's a small subset for what I've told.
- 7:18Speaker 6: They've allowed this to go on, and it is not
- 7:21Speaker 6: okay with the American people. This isn't a part is
- 7:24Speaker 6: an issue. This is about right and wrong and we
- 7:26Speaker 6: got to call it for what it is.
- 7:27Speaker 3: And so when people talk about genocide and say that
- 7:30Speaker 3: Israel is engaging in genocide, do you think that that
- 7:34Speaker 3: is a legitimate conversation that they should be allowed to
- 7:36Speaker 3: have as part of First Amendment rights here?
- 7:38Speaker 6: Well, of course, Look, I was a First Amendment lawyer
- 7:41Speaker 6: for twenty years. I went to the courts and defended
- 7:43Speaker 6: our First Amendment freedoms, religious expression, the writer, free speech
- 7:46Speaker 6: on campus. I litigated those cases. Of course, the university
- 7:50Speaker 6: is supposed to be the free marketplace of ideas. But
- 7:53Speaker 6: when you shout down and physically threaten with intimidation and
- 7:56Speaker 6: threats of violence at the other side, that is not
- 8:00Speaker 6: a peaceful expression, a peaceful exchange with ideas. That's something
- 8:04Speaker 6: very different, And that's what we're saying they need to
- 8:06Speaker 6: get control of when they camp out around the campus
- 8:08Speaker 6: and they prevent students from exercising their rights, that's the problem.
- 8:12Speaker 1: By the way, the way that he described that is
- 8:15Speaker 1: why he should be involved.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Spot on.
- 8:17Speaker 1: There's also one other part of this, and it's about
- 8:20Speaker 1: the funding. And we did a show earlier this week
- 8:22Speaker 1: where I talked about where some of the funding is
- 8:23Speaker 1: coming from. But George Soros, we now know, is paying
- 8:28Speaker 1: many of these student radicals who are fueling this nationwide
- 8:32Speaker 1: explosion of Israel hating protests. This now coming from the
- 8:38Speaker 1: New York posts. George Soros and his hard left allies
- 8:43Speaker 1: are paying agitators who are fueling the explosion of radical
- 8:47Speaker 1: anti Israel protests at colleges across the country. The protests
- 8:52Speaker 1: which began when students took over Columbia University. And why
- 8:56Speaker 1: did they pick New York because all the national media
- 8:58Speaker 1: is there and it was going to be to get
- 9:00Speaker 1: free press last week and then at Mushroom. Nationwide, copycat
- 9:05Speaker 1: tent cities have been set up at colleges including Harvard, Yale, Berkeley,
- 9:11Speaker 1: the Ohio State, Emrie University in Georgia, and all of
- 9:17Speaker 1: them organized by branches of a Soros funded Students for
- 9:21Speaker 1: Justice in Palestine known as SJP. And it's some students
- 9:26Speaker 1: have clashed with police. Now, let me give you all
- 9:30Speaker 1: of the different places where they're paid protesters. Okay, so
- 9:35Speaker 1: you understand this is where they're paid mit Harvard, Emerson, Tufts, Yale, Cornell,
- 9:42Speaker 1: University of Rochester, University of Pittsburgh, Ohio State University, George
- 9:46Speaker 1: Washington University, Emory University, University of Texas at Dallas, University
- 9:50Speaker 1: of Texas, at Austin, University of Minnesota, Northwestern cal Poly,
- 9:55Speaker 1: University of California USC.
- 9:58Speaker 2: That is just to name a few.
- 10:00Speaker 1: You and paid protesters are showing up at these universities now.
- 10:05Speaker 2: The SPJA parent organization has.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Been funded by a network of nonprofits ultimately funded by,
- 10:11Speaker 1: among other Soros, the billionaire left wing investor. At three colleges,
- 10:17Speaker 1: the protests are being encouraged by paid radicals who are
- 10:22Speaker 1: quote unquote fellows of a Soros funded group called the
- 10:27Speaker 1: US Campaign for Palestinian Rights.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Now.
- 10:31Speaker 1: This group provides up to seven eight hundred dollars for
- 10:36Speaker 1: its community based fellows and between two and eighty to
- 10:40Speaker 1: three thousand, six hundred and sixty dollars for its campus
- 10:43Speaker 1: based fellows in return for spending eight hours a week
- 10:47Speaker 1: organizing campaigns led by Palestinian organizations. If you think all
- 10:53Speaker 1: this is organic, you're wrong. This is all being paid
- 10:58Speaker 1: for by these raps on the left. That who's behind this,
- 11:04Speaker 1: That who's paying for it. I want to dive into
- 11:08Speaker 1: this specific point about these anti Semitic not just rhetoric,
- 11:14Speaker 1: but threats against Jewish students on college campuses. The FBI,
- 11:19Speaker 1: we are now being told this morning, is working with
- 11:22Speaker 1: colleges specifically to warn of the anti Semitic threats violence
- 11:28Speaker 1: amid the protests.
- 11:30Speaker 2: This coming from the Hill.
- 11:32Speaker 1: They were talking about this the Hill of Publication. I
- 11:35Speaker 1: want you to listen to what they had to say.
- 11:37Speaker 7: War protesters across college campuses continue as more rests happened
- 11:42Speaker 7: last night. College presidents are fighting to quell these protests,
- 11:46Speaker 7: but could they just end up like former Harvard president
- 11:49Speaker 7: Claudine Gay, who was forced to step down after backlash
- 11:53Speaker 7: on how she handled anti semitism on that college campus.
- 11:57Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean, it's entirely possible. We're hearing from a
- 11:59Speaker 8: number of loam makers right now calling on the president
- 12:02Speaker 8: of Columbia to step down because of these protests that
- 12:04Speaker 8: are taking place on campus and because of this anti
- 12:07Speaker 8: Semitism that is right now rampant all these college campuses.
- 12:10Speaker 8: And you know, today Speaker Mike Johnson is actually planning
- 12:13Speaker 8: to go to Columbia, go to the city, and he's
- 12:16Speaker 8: holding a press conference. Who's going to talk about this
- 12:18Speaker 8: rampant anti semitism on campus and take questions about it.
- 12:22Speaker 8: So it's possible that he could join the chorus of
- 12:24Speaker 8: voices calling on the Columbia president to resign. But look,
- 12:28Speaker 8: this is becoming a real big issue on Capitol Hill.
- 12:30Speaker 8: We saw New York republic We saw New York Republicans
- 12:34Speaker 8: on Columbia's campus earlier this week. We saw a number
- 12:37Speaker 8: of Jewish Democrats visit Columbia.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Earlier this week.
- 12:40Speaker 8: Now we're seeing the Speaker of the House second in
- 12:42Speaker 8: lance of the Presidency to visit Columbia. This is really
- 12:45Speaker 8: becoming a big issue in Washington. When lawmakers return to
- 12:49Speaker 8: the Capitol next week, I think it's very possible we'll
- 12:51Speaker 8: see some legislation about this, absolutely increased conversations about this.
- 12:55Speaker 8: And we'll remember back after that anti semitism hearing, that's
- 12:59Speaker 8: when gay Acts stepped down from her presidency at Harvard.
- 13:03Speaker 8: It was after that questioning by a last Stephonics. So
- 13:06Speaker 8: Kyra has really had a big role to play in
- 13:08Speaker 8: this conversation about anti semitism on college campuses, and I
- 13:11Speaker 8: don't expect that to wane anytime.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Soon, anytime soon.
- 13:15Speaker 1: So the question is, not only is the FBI now
- 13:18Speaker 1: having to work with these colleges, but why is it
- 13:21Speaker 1: that so many of these college not just professors, but
- 13:25Speaker 1: presidents and the staff and the boards not doing more
- 13:29Speaker 1: to stop the anti semitism. I can explain it. It's
- 13:33Speaker 1: because they're the ones that have been teaching it.
- 13:36Speaker 2: You look at the.
- 13:37Speaker 1: President of Columbia University. She is an individual that said
- 13:42Speaker 1: you should have understanding in essence for the terrorists after
- 13:47Speaker 1: nine to eleven. That was after nine eleven, two thousand
- 13:51Speaker 1: and one. She's been more radicalized since then. From twenty
- 13:55Speaker 1: one to twenty twenty four, she's not backing down, Which
- 13:59Speaker 1: brings me to the other part of this conversation that's
- 14:02Speaker 1: so important. The FBI director says now that not only
- 14:06Speaker 1: are the agencies sharing intelligence prevent violence on college campuses,
- 14:10Speaker 1: but they're very concerned over the people that are at
- 14:13Speaker 1: these events. Here is what Christopher Ray had to say,
- 14:16Speaker 1: and it's more of an extended cut. We talked about
- 14:20Speaker 1: a little bit of this earlier, but I want you
- 14:21Speaker 1: to hear how concerned he is. He's obviously very concerned
- 14:26Speaker 1: about what's happening on college campuses and the people specifically
- 14:30Speaker 1: that are allowed to stay there in camp there set
- 14:34Speaker 1: up their own crazy city in essence, and these administrators
- 14:39Speaker 1: are not stopping these bad actors from coming in.
- 14:42Speaker 9: There's an environment right now we're seeing play out on
- 14:45Speaker 9: some college campuses, the protests over what's happening in Gaza.
- 14:49Speaker 9: Are you watching that warily? Are you concerned about threats
- 14:53Speaker 9: emanating from these demonstrations?
- 14:56Speaker 10: Well, of course, demonstrations themselves are not something that we
- 14:59Speaker 10: the I get involved in. But when violence ensues, that's
- 15:05Speaker 10: when we get concerned. When you have threats of violence,
- 15:07Speaker 10: and so we have seen even before October seventh, we
- 15:12Speaker 10: saw a significant increase, especially in anti Semitic threats and
- 15:16Speaker 10: anti Semitic violence, and since October seventh, that number has
- 15:20Speaker 10: gone up quite substantially.
- 15:22Speaker 9: Are you actively monitoring these protests.
- 15:24Speaker 10: We don't monitor protests, but we do share intelligence about
- 15:28Speaker 10: specific threats of violence with campuses with state local law enforcement.
- 15:33Speaker 10: But we don't monitor protests.
- 15:35Speaker 1: We don't monitor protests now, Christopher Way telling Lester Holt,
- 15:41Speaker 1: the FBI doesn't monitor college campus protests, but it is
- 15:45Speaker 1: sharing intelligence about specific threats of violence with law enforcement
- 15:49Speaker 1: on college campuses, which is very much a contradictory statement there.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Now, I'm glad that.
- 15:55Speaker 1: The FBI director is admitting there's a real problem and
- 15:58Speaker 1: we're seeing this all over the country. I'm glad that
- 16:01Speaker 1: he's sharing this intel. But what we're witnessing on these
- 16:05Speaker 1: college campuses right now is and the fact that there
- 16:09Speaker 1: are people that are still giving to these college campuses
- 16:13Speaker 1: are just one of the most insane things I've ever seen.
- 16:18Speaker 1: The other problem is these college campuses now are not
- 16:21Speaker 1: having to teach.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Any type of quality education.
- 16:27Speaker 1: It's now just a place for people to go and
- 16:31Speaker 1: be kumbaya. Why because the government's now giving away all
- 16:36Speaker 1: of this money to buy votes, and it's paying off
- 16:39Speaker 1: student loan debts.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Let me give you another example of what I'm talking
- 16:43Speaker 2: about here.
- 16:44Speaker 1: We now found out that the Biden loan payoff program
- 16:48Speaker 1: paid off the loan of a violinist to the tune
- 16:53Speaker 1: of a quarter million dollars. Now this is your tax dollars.
- 16:57Speaker 1: This isn't some random bank account that doesn't exist. Right,
- 17:00Speaker 1: they didn't have anything to do with you. This is
- 17:02Speaker 1: your tax dollars. Take a listen.
- 17:07Speaker 11: Yesterday Primetime introduced you to Joel the violinist, the man
- 17:10Speaker 11: who went to school for nine years only to learn
- 17:13Speaker 11: that playing the fiddle wouldn't cover his student loans. So
- 17:17Speaker 11: Joel told Business Insider he had to make a choice,
- 17:19Speaker 11: quit music and get a real job or just let
- 17:23Speaker 11: his debt stack up.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Easy decision.
- 17:27Speaker 11: Joel kept jamming, throwing the majority of his debt into
- 17:31Speaker 11: forbearance and then just paying the bare minimum for twenty years.
- 17:35Speaker 11: He racked up a quarter million dollar debt. That was
- 17:38Speaker 11: until Biden took your tax dollars and paid it off.
- 17:42Speaker 11: But music isn't the only thing that drives Joel. He
- 17:44Speaker 11: loves meditation, and now he says he's got his financial freedom,
- 17:48Speaker 11: and he wants to fund.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Important long term goals.
- 17:51Speaker 11: Like studying meditation in India. Biden's America has become neverland.
- 17:56Speaker 11: People don't have to grow up. The audience not having it.
- 18:00Speaker 11: You guys texted us. I would say, you're frustrated. You're
- 18:05Speaker 11: paying for Joel the downward dog across the world.
- 18:07Speaker 2: So we had to dig deeper into who this is.
- 18:09Speaker 11: And what he's really doing with our money. For starters,
- 18:12Speaker 11: Joel's tunes or dei, his concerts focus on underrepresented artists,
- 18:18Speaker 11: and he's got more musical talents than just violin. He says, quote,
- 18:22Speaker 11: I can booty pop.
- 18:24Speaker 2: I'm no Beyonce, but I can do it. Not joking.
- 18:28Speaker 2: So don't worry, America. Your money is in good hands.
- 18:32Speaker 1: So this dude went to college for nine years. Nine years,
- 18:38Speaker 1: he racked up two hundred and fifty thousand dollars of debt,
- 18:42Speaker 1: and your tax dollars just went to pay this idiot
- 18:46Speaker 1: the two hundred and.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Fifty thousand dollars that he owed.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Pay it off so that he could waste nine years
- 18:51Speaker 1: of his life doing a job that everybody could have
- 18:55Speaker 1: told him was not going to be able to cover
- 18:57Speaker 1: the two hundred and fifty thousand much less make a
- 18:59Speaker 1: live so now he can live his best life. He says, right, well,
- 19:04Speaker 1: I mean, I bet you live is living a pretty
- 19:05Speaker 1: good life during those nine years when he was screwing
- 19:09Speaker 1: around in college. You want to guess who this guy's
- 19:13Speaker 1: going to vote for? What do you bet that this
- 19:15Speaker 1: guy's going to vote for Joe Biden? Because Joe Biden
- 19:19Speaker 1: just spent two hundred and fifty thousand dollars of your money.
- 19:24Speaker 1: You are the taxpayer to pay for this guy to
- 19:27Speaker 1: screw around and meditate and be a violinist in college
- 19:34Speaker 1: for nine years, and he's somehow the victim, not you,
- 19:40Speaker 1: the person that just paid off the two hundred and
- 19:42Speaker 1: fifty thousand dollars in student loan debt in the almost
- 19:47Speaker 1: decade he's spent in school as a quote meditating musician.
- 19:54Speaker 2: This is Biden's America, all right.
- 19:57Speaker 1: I want to also get to something else here, and
- 20:00Speaker 1: it deals with the economy.
- 20:01Speaker 2: You may have seen that. I mean, the Dow is
- 20:03Speaker 2: down like six hundred points at some point.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Which was shocking, and we're now learning more about what's happening.
- 20:10Speaker 1: The White House is coming out defending the terrible economic news.
- 20:16Speaker 1: White House brought out their top guy, Bernstein, who said
- 20:19Speaker 1: that Biden's economy is quote great, and we will defend
- 20:24Speaker 1: it all day long. This is grocery inflation, according to
- 20:29Speaker 1: Consumer Price Index has been zero. They say for the
- 20:32Speaker 1: past two months. Well guess what, you're paying countless dollars
- 20:38Speaker 1: more now for groceries than you did a year, two,
- 20:40Speaker 1: three years ago. And everybody knows it. So the White
- 20:43Speaker 1: House just flat out lying to your face.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Listen to this.
- 20:47Speaker 12: Now, we've seen a lot of news about energy from
- 20:49Speaker 12: this president, you know, limiting LG exports when it comes
- 20:53Speaker 12: to permitting future permits to non free trade agreements. You've
- 20:57Speaker 12: seen the Alaska while life refuge to taking thirteen point
- 21:02Speaker 12: three million acres off the table. That's putting pressure on
- 21:05Speaker 12: gas prices, which have been inching up over the past month.
- 21:09Speaker 12: And we've seen overall CPI inflation go up. Maybe because
- 21:13Speaker 12: of that. Are you worried that inflation is not gone?
- 21:17Speaker 12: First of all, and you know it's hits here to stay.
- 21:20Speaker 13: We have a lot more work to do on lowering
- 21:24Speaker 13: costs on behalf of the American people, and that is
- 21:26Speaker 13: absolutely at the heart of our agenda, whether it's negotiating
- 21:29Speaker 13: lower prescription drug prices. Capping the price of insulin at
- 21:33Speaker 13: thirty five dollars a month, saving millions of Americans eight
- 21:36Speaker 13: hundred dollars a year on their insurance coverage. Our work
- 21:40Speaker 13: is definitely.
- 21:41Speaker 12: Not but Jared, lowering those costs are only for a
- 21:44Speaker 12: small portion of Americans. You know, a lot of Americans
- 21:49Speaker 12: are feeling all the gas prices going up. They're feeling,
- 21:51Speaker 12: you know, nineteen percent entries in all items, grocery items
- 21:55Speaker 12: up twenty one percent since President Biden came into office.
- 21:58Speaker 12: This is what people hold on.
- 22:01Speaker 13: Let's unwrap a lot of that, because I do want
- 22:02Speaker 13: to get to the gas price. So, grocery inflation, at
- 22:05Speaker 13: least according to the Consumer Price Index, has been zero
- 22:09Speaker 13: for the past two months.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Now.
- 22:11Speaker 13: That doesn't mean the grocery prices are back to where
- 22:13Speaker 13: we'd like to see them, but grocery inflation has flattened
- 22:17Speaker 13: a great deal and that certainly helps, especially at a
- 22:19Speaker 13: time when people's paychecks are beating prices again, thirteen months
- 22:24Speaker 13: in a row, in a year over year basis, midwage
- 22:26Speaker 13: workers wages have beat prices. They're buying powers going up. Now,
- 22:30Speaker 13: let's talk about gas. So one of the things that.
- 22:33Speaker 2: I just have to laugh here for a second.
- 22:35Speaker 1: That stats as he's saying this are up on the
- 22:38Speaker 1: screen as the White House is lined Tod Well, hold on,
- 22:41Speaker 1: I mean things are great, right, We'll defend this economy
- 22:46Speaker 1: all day long.
- 22:47Speaker 2: We think it's amazing. How many of you think it's amazing.
- 22:50Speaker 1: The majority of Americans, by the way, do not believe
- 22:53Speaker 1: that things are amazing right now, because we're saying that
- 22:58Speaker 1: Bidenomics clearly equals major inflation and everybody knows it. We're
- 23:05Speaker 1: witnessing it right now. In fact, Bloomberg put it this
- 23:09Speaker 1: way on Bloomberg TV earlier today.
- 23:13Speaker 14: This isn't going to make for great reading this morning,
- 23:15Speaker 14: and the Oval Office is it. Bidenomics equals inflation is
- 23:21Speaker 14: not what Bidenomics, the narrative was supposed to align with.
- 23:25Speaker 15: Well, that's not what it represents. And look, I understand
- 23:30Speaker 15: this is your poll. You're gonna promote it, but I think.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Overall I love this. James Sperling is White House Okay,
- 23:39Speaker 1: he's a White House guy. The guy he's like, well,
- 23:40Speaker 1: this is your poll, right. The polling shows the American
- 23:45Speaker 1: people believe that Bidenomics is a disaster and that the
- 23:49Speaker 1: President is not paying attention to just how bad it
- 23:52Speaker 1: is in this country economically. And so his response is, well,
- 23:56Speaker 1: this is your poll at Bloomberg, and you guys are
- 24:01Speaker 1: you're promoting your poll. Okay, so you're saying at the
- 24:04Speaker 1: same time, screw you to the American people, right, that's
- 24:08Speaker 1: what you're saying.
- 24:09Speaker 2: Am I wrong?
- 24:10Speaker 1: You're saying, well, I don't care what the poll says,
- 24:13Speaker 1: and the American people are hurting the American people. We
- 24:16Speaker 1: don't care that they're saying that Bidenomics isn't working very well.
- 24:20Speaker 1: We're going to keep running with this now. Bloomberg also
- 24:24Speaker 1: came up with this. Listen to this. Three quarters of
- 24:27Speaker 1: swing state voters say that Biden is responsible for how
- 24:31Speaker 1: they feel about the economy right now, and Trump has
- 24:35Speaker 1: increased as leads over Biden in swing states, and.
- 24:39Speaker 16: A majority of swing state voters med see worsening economic
- 24:42Speaker 16: conditions in the coming months, so it doesn't spell optimism
- 24:45Speaker 16: for the Biden camp. Less than one in five respondents
- 24:48Speaker 16: say they expect inflation and interest rates to be lowered
- 24:51Speaker 16: by the end of the year, and then more than
- 24:53Speaker 16: three quarters say that Biden is responsible for how they
- 24:56Speaker 16: feel about the economy, which isn't a very good mood,
- 24:59Speaker 16: and more than half said that he is very responsible.
- 25:03Speaker 1: More than half say is very responsible, and three quarters
- 25:06Speaker 1: say yeah, it's Biden is responsible for how they feel
- 25:10Speaker 1: about the economy. So the numbers are coming out. The
- 25:14Speaker 1: numbers are clear. The American people are holding Joe Biden
- 25:17Speaker 1: accountable for Bidenomics, and they're holding them accountable for how
- 25:21Speaker 1: how bad things are right now in this country. Janet
- 25:25Speaker 1: Yellen coming out Treasury Secretary saying we have to we
- 25:29Speaker 1: have to have a sustainable fiscal policy and President Biden
- 25:33Speaker 1: is committed to that.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Really, because you guys are.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Spending one trillion dollars every one hundred day with a
- 25:40Speaker 1: Biden budget, right, So this is the promise.
- 25:45Speaker 4: Now.
- 25:45Speaker 1: The President is even out there today saying that we
- 25:48Speaker 1: got to get things under control in Syracuse, New York,
- 25:51Speaker 1: all right, And what did he have to say?
- 25:53Speaker 2: He's toaluting infrastructure. Infrastructure, folks, listen and all folks.
- 25:58Speaker 17: All over the years, I asked business leaders like Sanjay
- 26:01Speaker 17: because the other team kept criticizing me for wanting to
- 26:04Speaker 17: make these investments, you know, things like the infrastructure bill,
- 26:08Speaker 17: which is over twollion dollars and we're going to have
- 26:11Speaker 17: a we have an infrastructure decade coming. Last guy had
- 26:14Speaker 17: Infrastructure Week and never showed up.
- 26:17Speaker 1: But that's your president of the United States of America.
- 26:20Speaker 1: The other team kept criticizing me for wanting to make
- 26:23Speaker 1: these investments. We have an infrastructure decade coming. Last guy
- 26:27Speaker 1: had Infrastructure Week and never showed up, and the audience laughed,
- 26:31Speaker 1: there's your pre planned line by the president. Now, look,
- 26:34Speaker 1: that may work in a room, okay, with people that
- 26:39Speaker 1: are paying to see you, paying to be there, wanting
- 26:44Speaker 1: to give you money because they believe in socialism. But
- 26:47Speaker 1: even listen to the president here saying, quote, we're exporting
- 26:50Speaker 1: American jobs, and you're supposed to clap for this, and.
- 26:55Speaker 17: It's clear we have the strongest economy in the world.
- 26:58Speaker 2: That's a fact, million new jobs created in three and
- 27:01Speaker 2: a half years.
- 27:03Speaker 17: Unemployment hasn't been this low for this long for fifty years,
- 27:08Speaker 17: wages arising. Instead of importing foreign products, we're exporting and
- 27:13Speaker 17: exporting American jobs, We're exporting American products and creating American jobs.
- 27:19Speaker 1: We're exporting American jobs. It's clear we have the strongest
- 27:23Speaker 1: economy in the world. As the American people, they're not
- 27:26Speaker 1: buying the lies that you're telling them right now. They're
- 27:31Speaker 1: not buying this idea that you guys are somehow killing
- 27:35Speaker 1: it because they're living with these insanely high prices that
- 27:41Speaker 1: we're dealing with right now. It is obvious that the
- 27:46Speaker 1: president of the United States of America is in real
- 27:50Speaker 1: trouble when it comes to the economy and the American people.
- 27:54Speaker 1: I'll give you another headline, Biden's gains against Trump vanish
- 27:58Speaker 1: on deekomic issues. New poll shows the president's trailing Trump
- 28:04Speaker 1: in six of seven swing states. Is a majority of
- 28:07Speaker 1: pole respondency, the economy worsening by the end of the year.
- 28:12Speaker 1: And what does he say? He says, everything's great. Donald
- 28:16Speaker 1: Trump coming out to the media talking about these new
- 28:19Speaker 1: numbers as he's stuck in court with clear election interference.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Here is what he had to say about Bidenomics.
- 28:27Speaker 18: As you probably have subverbing things have happened, But the
- 28:31Speaker 18: biggest seems to be that the gv just announces all
- 28:37Speaker 18: the way down to one point six percent the setting south.
- 28:41Speaker 18: It's for the good worse gas prices in Donald holl On,
- 28:44Speaker 18: you were just also announced seven dollars and sixty cents
- 28:49Speaker 18: gasling is going way up energy thoughts are going way up,
- 28:54Speaker 18: and the stock market is in a sense crashing the
- 28:59Speaker 18: number a very bit. This is Bidenomics, sketching up with them.
- 29:03Speaker 18: It's lucky that it's sketching up before even police.
- 29:06Speaker 9: Office is supposed to have in this office.
- 29:09Speaker 18: But this is Bidenomics. It's destroying our country at the border,
- 29:12Speaker 18: destroying our country with other countries. They no longer respect
- 29:16Speaker 18: the United States. I think the dollars in tremendous trouble
- 29:20Speaker 18: in terms of currency. This is going to be the standard,
- 29:24Speaker 18: and it's going to be the standard with me. With
- 29:27Speaker 18: You're going to lose the dollars the standard.
- 29:29Speaker 9: That'll be like losing the.
- 29:30Speaker 18: Biggest moral we've ever lost.
- 29:33Speaker 2: And it's a shame.
- 29:34Speaker 18: But it's all the way down to one point six.
- 29:36Speaker 18: I don't tell you nobody good that would be possible.
- 29:39Speaker 18: And it looks like it's sending.
- 29:41Speaker 9: Down from there.
- 29:42Speaker 1: President Donald Trump telling you the truth. The GDP just
- 29:46Speaker 1: announced it's all the way down to one point six
- 29:48Speaker 1: and it's heading south. Gasoline is going way up, energy
- 29:51Speaker 1: costs are going way up. This is Bidenomics. This, by
- 29:55Speaker 1: the way, is what the election is going to be about.
- 29:57Speaker 1: This is exactly what it should be allowed be about,
- 30:00Speaker 1: and when it was announced this morning, calling it stagflation,
- 30:04Speaker 1: here's what it sounded like.
- 30:06Speaker 19: At first quarter GDP the annual rate one point six
- 30:10Speaker 19: percent between January and March. The expectation was two point
- 30:14Speaker 19: four percent. This is a much lower than anticipated number.
- 30:19Speaker 19: As a refresher, the final three months of last year
- 30:22Speaker 19: growth was three point four percent. So we're going from
- 30:25Speaker 19: three point four percent all the way down to one
- 30:28Speaker 19: point six percent. The consumer is slowing down, inflation remains high.
- 30:33Speaker 19: The Atlanta Fed as of now has their GDP GDP
- 30:37Speaker 19: now number at two point seven So there you have
- 30:39Speaker 19: at one point six percent. First look at first quarter two.
- 30:43Speaker 1: I don't see how Joe Biden overcomes this. And this
- 30:46Speaker 1: is exactly why they're going to try to lock up
- 30:48Speaker 1: Donald Trump. This is what it's all about. Please make
- 30:52Speaker 1: sure you share this podcast with your family and friends,
- 30:56Speaker 1: share it on social media, make sure everybody knows what's
- 30:59Speaker 1: going going on. And I will see you back here
- 31:02Speaker 1: tomorrow
