Transcript
- 0:03[SPEAKER_01]: has come to an end.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, this is about as abrupt as you can get.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_01]: When I arrived here in 13, which you've can't believe it or not, I added that.
- 0:15[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know what I was signing up for.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_01]: I quickly learned what this city demands, but more importantly, what it gives back.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: Bro, I've told you guys this before.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_01]: Best fan base I've ever spoken to.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, the past 13 years have been a great privilege of my coaching career.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't just work here.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_01]: I became one of you.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_01]: Stout out.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry, man.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_01]: If I worked at some place, and I really enjoyed working at some place, I'm gonna thank Rhea Hughes.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna thank producers.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna thank people of five work at a period of time.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna go get over here, man.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_01]: I could never have done this, and we could never have done this without each other.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_01]: making it a successful radio show and the number one rated guy and the most important guy in the history of sports dog radio here in Philadelphia.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_01]: I want to thank everybody from having me party your team.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_01]: That's how you do shit Angela Aldi, you bring them in here.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_01]: Angela you're taking away right away without Stoutland has quit on the eagle.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_00]: Wow, um, Stoutland University is here by closed.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_00]: That's the bad news.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_00]: The good news, the Nick Seriani Nursery School remains up and running.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_00]: And what you've seen now, Dan, is what we've been talking about for years, several years.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_00]: They have structured an organization with somehow they have given power to Nick Seriani, knowing that the guy is not all that bright.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_00]: You alienated.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_00]: The best coach on your staff, in the course of this debacle of the season, you stripped the powers from Jeff Stoutland to be the run game coordinator who got those duties.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: Can you tell me?
- 2:21[SPEAKER_00]: All right, so let me take you back to sideline when something good happened, which wasn't all that often this year offensively, how Syrian and Petul or doing the the arm thing and the whole deal there.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_00]: And I I kept referring to him is a bunch of flat boys.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_00]: Let's tap a kang.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: That's the mentality.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_00]: Now you've got in that mindset, in that mindset.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_00]: And it became more that this year with Fatulau, his best buddy, and a position of power, right?
- 2:52[SPEAKER_00]: Now you look at, well, who didn't fit in there?
- 2:55[SPEAKER_00]: Well, Stoutland, who's won Super Bowl's with two entirely different coaching staffs, in Philadelphia.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_00]: We only won two.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_00]: Stoutland won us two of them.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: Both of them.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: All right, with Doug Peterson's group, and now with Seriani's group, they alienated him.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_00]: Who else is talking about leaving?
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: Vick Fagio, also over 60, extremely good, has done a brilliant job as deep as a coordinator.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_00]: Got alienated enough in his second year gear to strongly consider retirement.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, how much do we need to see the last chapter of the Nick Seriani story?
- 3:44[SPEAKER_00]: Don't you think, but wait.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: But Angela doesn't just set up the last chapter.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, because it does set it up, right?
- 3:53[SPEAKER_00]: It's inevitable now.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_00]: Do you understand?
- 3:55[SPEAKER_00]: You have now the one thing that Seriani has been able
- 4:07[SPEAKER_00]: to the abest, these guys perform brilliantly in his system, whatever it was.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: Fiangeo's never coach better.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_00]: Stoutlin was never more successful that he was here.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_00]: And never more successful than with Seriani.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: Those were the best offensive lines.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_00]: And somehow he alienated them enough.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_00]: So they lost one and the other ones back, but not dying to do it, you know, Fiangeo.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: But the last chapter of this is, an horrible season next year, losing season, more losses than wins, and then the firing of Seriani.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_00]: That's not the big question.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_00]: The question is, oh, does he still have power?
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: They know, they know, Larry and Rosvin, the owner and the general manager know that last year they won because they had two great coordinators and Seriani was taken out of the equation.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_00]: But why are they giving them all this?
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if the Stan Ways getting this power.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if the Stan Ways organization is watching Stoutland leave Fangeo think about leaving
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: And that was showing me how about that we're here.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to get to that.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: Another guy is never called play.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_01]: How about this though, Angela?
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: How do you how are you going from a year?
- 5:33[SPEAKER_01]: We're not even.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_01]: I think February 9th is when the Eagles won the Super Bowl a year ago.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_01]: That'll be a year.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: How do we go within a few days of a year to Jeff Stoutland?
- 5:45[SPEAKER_01]: being demoted in run game, and then having Kevin Patula, who never called plays, who knows Nick's flat body, how do you go with some of the reports that were out there that they never even conferred with him on how they were going to run play.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_01]: What that means they didn't have the stones to tell him because they were didn't want to address it.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_01]: How do you get to that point where you just disrespect a guy who's maybe more respected or as respected as Jim Johnson was here?
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: All right, is it that?
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: And they probably didn't have the stones to tell him, but he figured it out and that's, you know, when I was a reporter, that's the moment.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: when Stoutland confront Seriani about the demotion.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the season after they want to superball, that's right.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: And I would pay for a transcript of what Stoutland said to Seriani.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_00]: And what Seriani said in response, because Stoutland,
- 6:52[SPEAKER_00]: knows what he's doing.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: Seriously, you think he went to Nick after this 33-year-old guy will get to him in a minute.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_01]: After this 33-year-old guy, do you think Jeff went to him and followed me on this?
- 7:10[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think he went to him and said, all right, what's my role in this?
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: Do I still have the run game coordinator?
- 7:17[SPEAKER_01]: Nick probably for the first time had to say, no, no, and then when Vic heard that, I wonder Vic goes, you're pushing Jeff Stoutland out.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_01]: How in the world are standing?
- 7:29[SPEAKER_01]: Me not want to leave here and we're creating chaos on that side of the ball for us.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_00]: 100% this is the the inner workings of football organization.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_00]: There's old, it's like every other business.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Frigio and Stoutland are talking and going, how much longer are we going to prop these morons up?
- 7:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, they knew Stoutland knew before they named Petulau.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_00]: He had worked with Petulau.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_00]: He knew he didn't know what he was doing.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_00]: He knew it.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: He was a bit that you run.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: You coordinate the running game.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you can't coordinate a running game.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_00]: If the guy called in the place, that's not a call of the place, you've got to set it up.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_00]: It all works together.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_00]: And Petulot didn't know a damn thing about it.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: Isn't it ironic, damn?
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: It is the killer.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: This tells you, Serianius being allowed to do things that are
- 8:30[SPEAKER_00]: Jeff Stoutlin, to me, a whole of fame and cystic no question.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: All the famous is no longer in the organization.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_00]: Evan Patulo is, I know, it is fire him.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_00]: No, I don't know where the hell he's hiding in there, but they did, he's still a part of the organization.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_00]: Serianne's best buddy who, from they could not do the job, he's still there.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_00]: Stoutman could did the job.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_00]: Well, last Jason tells me, he turned back then into a good player last year.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_00]: He turned back then, who sucked before that and sucked this season.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: The old and green year he had was with Stoutland.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_00]: And he let him go.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's then, why seriani?
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: The only possible theory I have is that the Eagles have been a really bad position.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_00]: Seriani's got a great record.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_00]: He does.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's because, yeah, it's phenomenal roster.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's not because he's done anything brilliant.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_00]: We watched the games.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_00]: We listened to a draw.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_00]: He's not brilliant.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: He's not even that smart.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_00]: All right?
- 9:37[SPEAKER_00]: So, what are you going to do?
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: He's got a great record.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: I can't just fire the guy the next year.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: He has a little rope hang yourself.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_00]: Wow, he lost thought when he's close to losing for NGL.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe maybe they just, I really want to play out.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: They're letting it play out.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_00]: I really don't have people in our city, dumb ones, but there are people in the city of Philadelphia who think Serian is a really good coach.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_00]: Now, these are people who don't pay enough attention to watch the way it comports himself on the sideline, the listener who is news conferences, to see how they do when he actually calls players involved directly in something of it.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_00]: You can see he really doesn't know what the hell he's doing either.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_00]: But you can't fire him.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_00]: I just want to forget Super Bowl.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_00]: No, they almost didn't even before.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's too much equity.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's too much equity, so they got to play it this way, but it still doesn't explain to me how they let Sean Manion, another guy who's never called plays, they handed him the keys to this offense.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: I just wrote, it's been in Larry no better than that.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: I don't understand why they didn't bring in somebody who had way more of a track record than this.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_01]: So how about this?
- 11:05[SPEAKER_01]: Angela, if you look at his resume, he's only been a coach in the NFL for 25 months.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_01]: 25 months.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there was a conversation a couple of years ago and Kelli Moore got the job that Cliff King's very wanted to bring in an office of wine guide and what's out there near he wanted a different guy.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_01]: They were adamant, they went, no way.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_01]: That's a deal breaker.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_01]: So you're telling me, they,
- 11:32[SPEAKER_01]: They've let that guy or push this guy out the building, Jeff Stoutlin, for 33-year-old guy, this tells me the plate caller's not Sean Manning, because follow me, hands alone.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: So you got K-P, who's called plays can't be too low.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_01]: This guy, Josh, who's hard to just get fired from the freaking box for a bad offense this year, and no bad injuries, he's called plays, Nick's called plays, who's the one guy in the offense
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_01]: That's something that makes sense to me.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_00]: It's it's it's not if it makes that you understand.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: This is not, it's so easy to say.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_00]: Well, these are all stupid decisions.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_00]: They must be serianics.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: Because he's good at that.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_00]: We saw him, we saw him, we saw him in Brian Johnson.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_00]: We saw him last year when he brought him petula.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_00]: He's good at making stupid decisions based on friendships, right?
- 12:32[SPEAKER_00]: But why are the guys above him letting this happen again?
- 12:36[SPEAKER_00]: They can't, there's not being way manion
- 12:40[SPEAKER_00]: 25 months off the playing field stole brilliant at this interview that they went, oh my god, we got to get him in here.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_00]: He's the next brilliant is what's what are you thinking?
- 12:53[SPEAKER_00]: Angela, what's going on now?
- 12:55[SPEAKER_00]: No, well, more Larry ain't going to talk.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_00]: The only talks when his team is wedding.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_00]: He would be talking right now if the Eagles were back into Super Bowl because he was everywhere last year this week couldn't talk enough about how brilliant this organization was under his leadership now he's he's going to hide out and Rosemary's just giving you boilerplate it's the same they're saying the same crap right now about Manion I looked it up
- 13:29[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, wow.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: He's just, he's got this mind that works so differently than, oh, they would give it to you all this crap.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: I looked it up.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_00]: I know, I know, they didn't even change the approach.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, this guy was born to do this, he's a, we don't need to see him do it.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: We know how Brady is at it.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, Dan, I'm not telling you, won't be good at it, he might be.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_00]: He might be.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_00]: But you don't know, he's never, this is the analogy I used in the web tab.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: I even got, I got feedback from doctors.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_00]: Telling me, yeah, this is exactly what it is.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_00]: Jeff Luring has got problems in his boat knees.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's in a lot of pain.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's got to see somebody, got to go to the medical profession.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_00]: is he going to go through a highly renowned orthopedic specialist who's dealt with knee issues for decades and knows what to do or is he going to take a shot and just take a kid from med school.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: Just cut out of Mexico.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_00]: I did an idea.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_00]: I'll be your first knee patient.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_00]: That's what they're doing.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_00]: Bring it in a plate column.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_00]: Never call place.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_00]: You're taking a shot.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_00]: And let's go.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_00]: No kidding.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_01]: Doesn't this seem that also that because if you go back a couple weeks here now, the guy who was also added into the interview process of the OCs,
- 14:55[SPEAKER_01]: was Julian Lori.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, Jesus.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'm wondering right now, if they're starting to belong for a reason that they're trying to begin the transformation of him taking over as president, not GM.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_01]: but as president, because there is a lot of young moves here.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_01]: You've got Fangeo wanting him, there must be whispers that they're thinking, how many years are you going to do this fake?
- 15:25[SPEAKER_01]: What are we going here?
- 15:26[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, now you hire a 33-year-old guy.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_01]: You got Kevin Patulo.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_01]: You've got all these young guys in the organization.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_01]: Now you've got Julian Loring part of the interview process on the O.C.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_01]: It was part of Sean Manion being hired.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he's making a transition here.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_00]: What you're doing here is really interesting because my scenario is you get rid of Seriani.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_00]: You bring somebody into your organization who's smart.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_00]: And now things are going back.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_00]: You still got a great GM.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_00]: He's still bringing in how he's still bringing in a lot of great authority.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to be okay.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_00]: If you add the son of the owner and say, no, no, he's going to be a major part of the process now.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: Instead of a bad year or two, while we wait for serriiety to finally get the hell out of Philadelphia, you'll look in a generation.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_00]: More, if Julian Luria is going to run the team, soon, his father's in his 70s,
- 16:31[SPEAKER_00]: You're screwed.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_00]: Now I could be wrong again.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: Every once in a while, the next generation comes along and is better than the original.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_00]: Happens about 5% of the time.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_00]: The rest of the time.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_00]: The rest of the time, the guy who takes over
- 16:51[SPEAKER_00]: didn't earn it, didn't get any of the money, just he won the gene pool, you know, he was born on third base.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_00]: And if that's true, there was screwed for long term until O'Leary family gets rid of the team.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_01]: How about this one here?
- 17:08[SPEAKER_01]: How much does this impact Lane Johnson coming back?
- 17:11[SPEAKER_00]: Wow, that is a
- 17:18[SPEAKER_00]: reasons that it's such a great job to be an offensive lineman on the Eagles is you're in Stoutland University.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_00]: You are learning from the best offensive line coach in the game and he's tough and he doesn't suffer fools.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_00]: He's and if you're a real player,
- 17:39[SPEAKER_00]: You know, like my a lot of like Johnson or like J. Jason Kelsey who is there, you love having that kind of a coach.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_00]: Just listen to Kelsey.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_00]: Kelsey will sing areas about Jeff Stoutland and how he never would have been the player he was without Stoutland there.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_00]: And all the other players that were okay coming out of college or whatever.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that Johnson wore backup guys.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_00]: They let that guy leave.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_00]: but they kept patula.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_00]: That tells you, Seriani still has a lot of say in the personnel at the coaching level, and that means you're screwed.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_00]: The only time it worked is when the ownership took over.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_00]: Kellan Moore was not Nick Seriani's pick.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_00]: That's how you want to Super Bowl.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_00]: You had Kellan Moore and Dick Fangeo.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_00]: Now what are you gonna do?
- 18:31[SPEAKER_01]: How does this impact AJ Brown now?
- 18:34[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, now let me, let me ask you this now here, Angelou.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_01]: If they're gonna change the offense, and they're gonna try to put the ball in the air.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_01]: Doesn't this then do this, you know, if AJ, you were gonna come back and it was gonna be status quo, I'm out of here, man.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_01]: And a lot of people, 90% of the people around and all the national media guys are saying that AJ's gone.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_01]: But if I'm AJ, Brian and I see now, well, they're gonna at least attempt to throw the ball and put the ball in the air.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_01]: Does that change a narrative for me?
- 19:06[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe I want to stay or they still want out of this chaos.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_00]: Ajay, first of all, Ajay doesn't necessarily want to put the ball in the air.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_00]: He wants him to put the ball in the air to him.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_00]: They're throwing a ball onto his smet.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_00]: He's no happy.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_00]: He's lovely and happy when number 11 is called, all right?
- 19:27[SPEAKER_00]: But you see, you're
- 19:33[SPEAKER_00]: We'll look at the personnel and go, well, we haven't a leak receiver.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_00]: Why don't we throw him the ball?
- 19:40[SPEAKER_00]: Why don't we not go about coming to the court?
- 19:44[SPEAKER_00]: Three quarters and never thrown the football.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, maybe, look, I would always be in favor of keeping Abe J Brown.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_00]: How are you, Rosemary's right?
- 19:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's hard to find great players in his one.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, you know what, if that brings them back, if that gives them to life, will then do me a favor, actually make him happy and throw them the friggin' ball because the two of them will never figure that out.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_00]: And that's one of the reasons he's in the broom closet now instead of in the main coaches room.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_00]: That's exactly right here.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_01]: Are they ruining jail and hurts?
- 20:21[SPEAKER_00]: Wow, I mean, can you name another quarterback in NFL history who every single year was career had a different offensive coordinator?
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not only a different one, but you're taking a gamble if they're good or bad.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and get this, they're not even like, once experience, once never, once kind of once, it's so up and down, it's almost like
- 20:50[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you know, it's fascinating.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_01]: He hires these coordinators based on his personality because he's so hot and cold as a human that the guy's he hires.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_01]: He hires, he hires hot and cold.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_00]: I found it fascinating.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_00]: that he was the protea.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_00]: Nick Seriano was a protea at one time, a frank rike.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_00]: A frank rike yesterday was hired by the New York Jets as the office coordinator.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_00]: No quarterback.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_00]: There he had a car back.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_00]: That means if frank is willing to take that awful job, awful.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_00]: The idea, if they to ask frank rike to come in here,
- 21:33[SPEAKER_00]: He would have dropped to his knees and kissed the ground.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_00]: And gone, oh, my coaching career is saved.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm back on a team with talent.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to dial a place.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_00]: An old Frank Greg studies call plays forward like 20 years or so, right?
- 21:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yep.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_00]: We don't want that.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_00]: Now I was against bringing in anybody connected to Serian.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_00]: And then I saw that they brought in another novice, and I went, well, if God, I would have had, I would have done bright then, right, we know can call plays, right, we know that's one of his strengths didn't even give my interview there.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_00]: And the organization doesn't like negative.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_00]: They want yes, yes, yes.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what Seriani has given the bosses from day one.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_01]: Do you believe the Super Bowl window is closed?
- 22:39[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm probably not because
- 22:42[SPEAKER_00]: Hurt is on the 30, he's still good.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_00]: I still look at the talent I got.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_01]: Come on.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_01]: You think there's too many people in the way for the Super Bowl window to stay open?
- 22:52[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's a bit, yeah.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_00]: These people are obstacle, Nick Seriani is an obstacle to another Super Bowl.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_00]: Not a means to one, right?
- 23:03[SPEAKER_00]: You would think, well, the one one, he must be really a, no, listen to him, watch him.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_00]: See what he's doing right now.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_00]: This is a Bondaga, you have lost your best assistant coach and could end up losing or having a disgruntled defense coordinator next year.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_00]: And you're on your way to lose it, you're going to say you've got a first place schedule again, you've got all this dysfunction behind you, you've got a guy called plays again next year, who's never done it, never done it, all that's a recipe for success, all right, then not that I'll say this much, the window of opportunity to go back to the shoeball, no my win it, go back to it is closed as long as Syrian is here.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_00]: his hand is played out now.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_00]: All that's left now is the unmasking of his incompetence.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_00]: And it will happen.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_00]: It will happen in the next 12 months.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_00]: Next year at this time will be gone.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it wasn't an inevitable year ago.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_00]: Wasn't it?
- 24:05[SPEAKER_00]: Once they were stoutlin, once you found out Fangeo wasn't happy, that was the first big sign that it was about to unravel.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_00]: It will unravel next year.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_01]: Don't you agree with the organization did a couple more here for you, Angela, don't you agree with the organization did now?
- 24:23[SPEAKER_01]: Instead of separating Nick from the coordinators, he's now made it closer to what could be the problem.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_01]: which that's going to give them the vehicle for them to give them the off ramp, the fire, the guy at the end of the year.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_01]: Because before he was kind of, he was, there was a fail safe in there.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that was a coordinator, not me.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_01]: And they used that, the impatience that the owner has.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's going to fire him.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to fire this guy.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_01]: Now, hey Nick, like you've been saying right now,
- 24:55[SPEAKER_01]: Nick, if this is your guy, how would you brought the problem closer to him now?
- 24:59[SPEAKER_01]: And that makes that off for us, you have to be able to fire, right?
- 25:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you have.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_00]: And that is maybe the number one part of this story.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_00]: That's the biggest part of this story.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_00]: Because now, Nick Serian and the course of the past season, while leading his division, made a decision during the season
- 25:24[SPEAKER_00]: and give it to Kevin Petoulos.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_00]: Just like that said, all the people and look, I get plenty of email from people saying, you're too negative, oh my God, I'm like, just tell me how that's just the file.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_00]: In what world, this Jeff Stoutland lose power to Kevin Petoulos.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_00]: a guy who's proven over and over again, his elite knowledge of football in an utter novice who given the chance, fell flat on his face.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_00]: And Serianian, the course of that season, ended more power to Patula.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_00]: What else?
- 26:05[SPEAKER_00]: There's no other argument you need to make, Dan.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_00]: That is no definition of incompetence.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_01]: Angela, I want to ask you this last one here.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_01]: 1994, Robert Kraft bought the Patriots.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_01]: And I believe it from that mistake, and I think Lori bought the Eagles in 95, the following season, he took control from Norman Raymond.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_01]: Correct.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_01]: So in that time frame from 94, Bob Kraft has been now come Sunday 11 Super Bowls, which is 37.5% of the Super Bowls.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_01]: During that time, which means every other year or most, every two years, Patriots been in its Super Bowls.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_01]: My question to you is, what does Robert Crafty different?
- 26:48[SPEAKER_01]: that Jeffrey Lori, because I believe you guys have left multiple super bowls on the table because of the way you do business.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_01]: My question is, what's the difference between those two owners in the way they do business in your eyes?
- 27:01[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think craft does different?
- 27:04[SPEAKER_01]: Now look, and I put what's in here too.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_01]: I know people are going to go Brady, but wait, they went to a super bowl with parcels and blood cell, they went with Brady, and they went with Bellachak, and now they're here
- 27:18[SPEAKER_01]: really different regimes.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_01]: What does he do different than Jeffrey Lori?
- 27:24[SPEAKER_00]: He's a lot smarter and I'll give you an example, right?
- 27:28[SPEAKER_00]: You got to go back to Spidegate.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_00]: This is one of my favorite Robert Kraft stories.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_00]: Go back to Spidegate.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_00]: You know, Bellachick Bill Bellachick is caught unwalked the rise, taping the practices and he's using it to game plan against teams.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_00]: So he finally, he's brought into crafts office and craft goes, and he goes basically, Bellachick says, you know, why would I even do that?
- 27:58[SPEAKER_00]: You know, why would I do anything like that?
- 28:01[SPEAKER_00]: And he said exactly, why do you need to do that?
- 28:03[SPEAKER_00]: You're Bill Bellachick, we get Tom Brady.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_00]: You don't need to have do any of that.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_00]: And he said, well,
- 28:12[SPEAKER_00]: I wish I could fully remember the anecdote.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_00]: Now it's losing me.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_00]: Basically what he said at the end is, if you actually cheated Bill, you're a schmuck.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
- 28:40[SPEAKER_00]: Larry is not that much of a leader.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_00]: Larry is not willing to look at the greatest coach in the history of the game and say you're a smock.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't do it.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm just saying to you, Robert Kraft knows what he's doing.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_00]: Jeff, Larry, he's a good owner.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_00]: I can't say he's not a good owner.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_00]: It's what a lot of winning teams with it, but he's not a smock.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_00]: So he's a whisperer.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_00]: He's not at a point.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_00]: He was a whispered opponent.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_00]: Lee does not comport himself as somebody who has a swagger.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_00]: The only time he ever talks is when his team's on a run, and even then it's just this compass, professorial, pontificating about organizational structures and all this crap.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's all bullshit, right?
- 29:30[SPEAKER_00]: The fact that a matter is, Robert Croft, just like, you know, I keep saying it's all a time there.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_00]: And I guess it's because I did the job for a long time.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_00]: Just listen to the people speak.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_00]: They will tell you how smart they are, listen to the way they speak, and you will understand the level of intelligence you're dealing with.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_00]: Don't you got to do?
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: I want to sneak this one in here, Master Nomus.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_01]: Master Nomus, I want to sneak this in here.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_01]: How do you think this story ends with seriyani?
- 30:05[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, just look at this.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's a... How do you think this ends?
- 30:10[SPEAKER_01]: How do you think this ends?
- 30:11[SPEAKER_00]: Building off eagles.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_00]: I already did this once and I fell right into the hall.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_00]: Let's hope it doesn't it?
- 30:18[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you know, I hope it happens again.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_00]: I hope I look like an idiot again.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_00]: I'll just say, hey, I got to see now.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_00]: Don't blame it on me.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_00]: He goes two or three years ago, said 2026 will have a losing season.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_00]: They will lose more games than they went.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_00]: And by the last couple of games of this bad season, remember now, John Hawboy is in your division.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_00]: When that happens, when you end up when in seven games, six games, whatever it is, Serbiani gets fired, and we will all say, well, they should have done it a year ago.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_00]: Where is that, what we're going to watch in the next year, six wins, you say it, six, wow.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going there yet.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_00]: We see the draft.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_00]: We made it.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_00]: Wait a minute.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_01]: Wait wait wait wait you're going to let this guy Brian Mahafi.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_01]: Pick the offensive lineman that instead of that.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't have that guy you're going to recommend for me to take the line in the replace lane.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, if I were hurts, I'd ask for a trade now, before he gets his best, they're gonna wipe him out next year.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_00]: They're gonna find out what life is like without Stoutlin as the coach of the offensive line.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_00]: This was a catastrophe, all right?
- 31:43[SPEAKER_00]: This was a catastrophe.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_00]: If you can't keep that man happy,
- 31:47[SPEAKER_00]: then you're an idiot.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_00]: You're a bad coach.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what I will always say about Seriani.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care if he wins another Super next year.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_00]: He's still a moron to me.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_00]: He will always be a moron.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_00]: Watch him on the sideline.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_00]: Tell me if that is an intelligent human being.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, real quick, I got Howard Eski coming up at Forty-Ford.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_00]: Oh geez.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, ask him, ask him if the backup quarterback should be the starter now.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_00]: And in the team, hey, how a pan of a king.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_00]: He wouldn't mind it all with pan of a king, huh?
- 32:29[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, I guess Ray did enjoy this account a week to go, and I go to Ray, I go.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_01]: So you were in the middle between these two guys.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_00]: Let me just say right now, I have an announcement on the Dan Silio show.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_00]: The intelligent portion of the program is about to end.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot, there's a lot with the rest of it.

- 33:21[SPEAKER_01]: I had to get him on the intelligence part of the program, just ended.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, man, Howard asking, we'll join us.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_01]: We will talk with him, that'll be at 430.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_01]: All right, hit the like button, guys.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_01]: If we missed, let me see if we missed any supers in here.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_01]: We appreciate you guys coming aboard.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just by the way, learned how to scroll.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_01]: Don't ask me, okay, I have no idea.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_01]: I just learned how to scroll back.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_01]: Instead of asking, Joe is in and to go back and find these things for me.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_01]: So I just learned how to do this, Joe.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_01]: So hang on here.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_01]: See if we got any super's here.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_01]: Guys, we appreciate you very, here's one.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_01]: This you Leon, since I just saw a clip, she asked Jordan why should Eagle fans be positive.
