- 1:44Speaker 1: the mouth turn then a.
- 1:49Speaker 7: Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 8: Come on, you think.
- 2:02Speaker 2: I sure will?
- 2:03Speaker 9: Hey, good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 9: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 9: radio show. I've been saying it like that since I
- 2:13Speaker 9: got it too. I got a good one for you today.
- 2:18Speaker 9: Yesterday the other day, I was talking to you about
- 2:21Speaker 9: the most effective weapon available to us as human beings.
- 2:24Speaker 9: I think is prayer. I think prayer helps us in
- 2:27Speaker 9: so many ways. But right now, what I want to
- 2:30Speaker 9: do is I want to show you how prayer pays off.
- 2:35Speaker 9: I want to show you what good it can do
- 2:37Speaker 9: for you. Even me, I use it every day, and
- 2:41Speaker 9: the days I don't use it, I feel it that that,
- 2:45Speaker 9: you know, the days that I go, you know, without
- 2:48Speaker 9: talking to him as much, I notice it.
- 2:50Speaker 8: I feel it.
- 2:50Speaker 9: I feel a certain kind of way, you know, those
- 2:54Speaker 9: that doubt starts slipping in again. That uneasy feeling of
- 2:58Speaker 9: uncertainty slips in again, and that wondering what I'm gonna
- 3:01Speaker 9: do starts slipping in again. Happens to me, happens everybody, man,
- 3:05Speaker 9: I think, I really, really do you know, if people
- 3:07Speaker 9: would just keep it real with each other, stop being
- 3:11Speaker 9: this Christian this superman, because you ain't you ain't. There's
- 3:16Speaker 9: a scripture that says that's none perfect, no, not one,
- 3:22Speaker 9: and that's everybody that cover all of us though it
- 3:25Speaker 9: so sometimes I think we're a little too hard on
- 3:28Speaker 9: each other with that too, seeing that's how we not perfect.
- 3:32Speaker 9: We immediately want to just just oh man, we just
- 3:36Speaker 9: want to kill when we find somebody do something wrong.
- 3:38Speaker 9: Bell if we go public, everything go public now called
- 3:41Speaker 9: social media. But anyway, I just want to talk to
- 3:44Speaker 9: you about how prayer pays off. It's called it all
- 3:48Speaker 9: eye and money. People got money, call it all eyes.
- 3:52Speaker 9: So return on investment. People always looking for a return
- 3:56Speaker 9: on investment. You know, nobody, nobody in business really gives
- 3:59Speaker 9: you money without understanding the return on investment. They don't
- 4:03Speaker 9: even give money to charities unless they think it can
- 4:07Speaker 9: do something with the bottom line. A lot of companies
- 4:10Speaker 9: work like that I found out out myself. Sad, but
- 4:13Speaker 9: it is true. So since everything is expected to work
- 4:17Speaker 9: on a return on investment, I assume because we're human beings.
- 4:20Speaker 9: So since we are human beings, whether you're in business
- 4:24Speaker 9: or not, you still in the business of living. I
- 4:28Speaker 9: think when you pray, you should expect a return on
- 4:33Speaker 9: your investment. You talk to him, you spend time opening
- 4:37Speaker 9: up to him, you bowed your head to him, you
- 4:41Speaker 9: humbled yourself, you got on your knees. I mean, but
- 4:45Speaker 9: really we talking God here. So really, what you're doing
- 4:48Speaker 9: ain't really about nothing. Be honest with you. A little
- 4:50Speaker 9: bit that you do do on his behalf. It just
- 4:54Speaker 9: pays in comparison with what he does. But let's just
- 4:57Speaker 9: say you want to call yourself invested, Well, let me
- 5:01Speaker 9: show you how it pays off. This because see for me,
- 5:04Speaker 9: this is for me now, prayer pays off in different ways.
- 5:07Speaker 9: That's what I had to learn. See, I was praying,
- 5:10Speaker 9: but I was asking him specifically for what I wanted.
- 5:14Speaker 9: I had the audacity, though, to turn around and tell
- 5:17Speaker 9: him how to do what I wanted. That's amazing, man.
- 5:21Speaker 2: I can't tell you.
- 5:21Speaker 9: How many blessings I block come in my way by
- 5:24Speaker 9: putting my faith in what I said I wanted and
- 5:27Speaker 9: how I wanted him to do it. I want you
- 5:30Speaker 9: to give me this. I want that person to go away.
- 5:34Speaker 9: I want this person to accept everything you say. Then
- 5:38Speaker 9: I want to go over here and I want this
- 5:40Speaker 9: deal to happen like this, and I want that person
- 5:43Speaker 9: to just step aside and let me through. And then
- 5:46Speaker 9: I want that I was I had it mapped out.
- 5:49Speaker 9: God must have been chuckling really hard. He had to
- 5:52Speaker 9: been gonna. Boy, I made you to be funny. But boy,
- 5:54Speaker 9: you funny now, So you're gonna tell me how to
- 5:57Speaker 9: do it. And you've all heard this right here. If
- 5:59Speaker 9: you want to make God laugh telling me your playing, well,
- 6:02Speaker 9: that's what I did. And that's how we pray. A
- 6:04Speaker 9: lot of times we pray, and we pray. In the prayer,
- 6:08Speaker 9: we're telling him how to work it out. Well, here's
- 6:12Speaker 9: a deal. This is what I've learned. Prayer pays off
- 6:15Speaker 9: in different ways. There's a different return of my investment
- 6:18Speaker 9: when I pray. See, sometimes when I'm praying for something,
- 6:24Speaker 9: a situation to dissolve itself or go away, sometimes I
- 6:28Speaker 9: get courage out of the prayer. Prayer provides me courage.
- 6:34Speaker 9: That's just to go on and look at it. I
- 6:37Speaker 9: guess face it.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Then.
- 6:40Speaker 9: Sometimes when I'm praying about a situation, sometimes prayer gives
- 6:46Speaker 9: me hanging power. Sometimes, man, it just I look up
- 6:50Speaker 9: and I'm just handling it better. Sometimes prayer gives you
- 6:54Speaker 9: laughing off power. Sometimes, man, you just got to laugh
- 6:59Speaker 9: it off whatever, Man, you trip it?
- 7:04Speaker 8: Do you know what that is?
- 7:06Speaker 9: If you could do that?
- 7:08Speaker 10: You know.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Sometimes it gives you a show of strength power.
- 7:14Speaker 9: Sometimes prayer allows you to have the appearance that you
- 7:18Speaker 9: got it all together.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Nobody got to know the world winning.
- 7:22Speaker 9: The tornado, the hurricane that's swirling in your life, you
- 7:26Speaker 9: standing over that like the eye. The hurricane just and
- 7:29Speaker 9: it's all swelling around you. But you standing there like
- 7:32Speaker 9: the eye, you just as calm. That's what prayer does.
- 7:35Speaker 9: So when you pray, man, it builds up a lot
- 7:38Speaker 9: of things in you. You know what it's done for me.
- 7:41Speaker 9: Prayer has built up character in me. It's made me
- 7:44Speaker 9: have more character because I'm able to stand stronger on
- 7:48Speaker 9: the things I say because I've been praying, because I've
- 7:52Speaker 9: been asking God for all of those return of investments,
- 7:55Speaker 9: I've been asking God for courage, I've been asking God
- 7:59Speaker 9: for hanging that power. I've been asking him to give
- 8:01Speaker 9: me the power to walk away. I've asked him to
- 8:04Speaker 9: give me ignored power. I've asked him to help me
- 8:07Speaker 9: laugh it off. I've asked him to show me strength.
- 8:09Speaker 9: But you know what I was doing, I was really praying,
- 8:11Speaker 9: not really for them things be real with you. I
- 8:14Speaker 9: was asking him to help me, Lord, help me. You
- 8:17Speaker 9: ever done that? You have asked God for help and
- 8:19Speaker 9: then all of a sudden, the list of these things
- 8:21Speaker 9: show up. See, sometimes how you want the problem to
- 8:25Speaker 9: be solved ain't the best way. There's a lesson to
- 8:27Speaker 9: be learned when we make mistakes. And sometimes you got
- 8:30Speaker 9: to stay in that fire and you got to learn
- 8:32Speaker 9: that lesson. But guess what, though, when you come out
- 8:35Speaker 9: of it, you're gonna be better for it. You gonna
- 8:38Speaker 9: know more about it. Come on, y'all, pray. He's solid.
- 8:42Speaker 9: His word is true, It lasts forever. He do what
- 8:44Speaker 9: he said he gonna do now all day, all night,
- 8:49Speaker 9: twenty four seven. He do it all day, all night,
- 8:52Speaker 9: and then some more. His word don't ever change. It's true.
- 8:55Speaker 9: It works for me, It worked for you, It worked
- 8:59Speaker 9: for Jake's work for Old Steam. It worked for Kirk Franklin.
- 9:03Speaker 9: It worked for Paula White, It worked for Billy Graham,
- 9:07Speaker 9: It worked for Mother Teresa, It worked for Gandhy, It
- 9:11Speaker 9: worked for the Princess Arabs. It worked, man, it worked
- 9:16Speaker 9: for you. What you're waiting for? Why don't you put
- 9:20Speaker 9: prayer in your game? Watch what happened to you? You
- 9:22Speaker 9: sitting in that jail cell and you struggling with it,
- 9:25Speaker 9: and they telling you blood in, blood out, you can't
- 9:28Speaker 9: get in you. That's foolishness, man, What you mean God
- 9:31Speaker 9: can get you out of anything. Look, man, if you
- 9:34Speaker 9: done read your Bible, he'd got some people on some
- 9:36Speaker 9: sticky situations. I don't know what you're talking about. If
- 9:38Speaker 9: Daniel was in the lions den and Jonah was in
- 9:41Speaker 9: the belly of the whale, what you talking about?
- 9:43Speaker 8: Where you are?
- 9:43Speaker 9: You just sitting in the cell with some dudes around.
- 9:45Speaker 9: You're talking about what they gonna do? Man, you gotta
- 9:47Speaker 9: be real. God can't nothing to do nothing. Nobody can't
- 9:51Speaker 9: nobody do nothing to you. God won't give you the
- 9:53Speaker 9: strength to handle prayer. Change his things.
- 9:56Speaker 5: Man, you're listening hard Morning Show.

- 12:25Speaker 2: slow down, just catch yourself.
- 12:28Speaker 5: What's wrong you don't like it.

- 14:55Speaker 12: Something?
- 14:55Speaker 10: No?
- 14:55Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, no, no, no no.
- 14:56Speaker 7: I talked to you wife.
- 14:57Speaker 10: Man. She's interested in this thing we got man called
- 15:00Speaker 10: a four to three relationship. She told me she want
- 15:03Speaker 10: me to call back and talk to her husband about it.
- 15:05Speaker 10: And she gave me the number to hit you up
- 15:07Speaker 10: at the house, man and let you know all about
- 15:09Speaker 10: the four to three relationship, because she's really interested in it.
- 15:12Speaker 7: A four to three relationship. And you say you talk
- 15:15Speaker 7: to my wife about it.
- 15:16Speaker 10: Yeah, I talked to Keisha a couple of days ago.
- 15:18Speaker 10: She gave me the number. She said, call him back.
- 15:20Speaker 10: He'll be at home at this time. You can hit
- 15:21Speaker 10: him up and see if he likes she said. But
- 15:23Speaker 10: she definitely likes it, man, And she wanted to see
- 15:25Speaker 10: if you would be interested in the four to three
- 15:27Speaker 10: relationship too. You know, I want to get your approval
- 15:30Speaker 10: on it before we went in it further. But your
- 15:32Speaker 10: wife was very excited about it, man. She was wanting
- 15:35Speaker 10: to get started as soon as possible, and I wanted
- 15:37Speaker 10: to see about contacting you and making sure that you
- 15:40Speaker 10: agreed and approved on everything. But she definitely wanted to
- 15:43Speaker 10: get your blessing, get your approval on it.
- 15:45Speaker 7: Yeah. I'll try to do anything to make her happy, dooll?
- 15:49Speaker 7: But I got to get some more with some information
- 15:51Speaker 7: about this. What is that again?
- 15:53Speaker 10: For three? Three? No? No, it's a four to three.
- 15:56Speaker 10: A ford to three relationship, is what it is?
- 15:58Speaker 7: Okay, Well, if it makes her will to listen?
- 16:01Speaker 10: Okay, well listen, man, we were probably gonna get started
- 16:03Speaker 10: right away, probably Monday. We'll just started on Monday. You'll
- 16:07Speaker 10: go through Monday through Thursday, and then and then I'll
- 16:10Speaker 10: pick up you know, Friday through Sunday, man, and we'll
- 16:12Speaker 10: go ahead and get this thing started. I think if
- 16:14Speaker 10: till a month, you'll pretty much catch on everything.
- 16:16Speaker 7: You know, there's something gonna ship to the house. Pick
- 16:21Speaker 7: you say, pick up? What you mean pick up? She
- 16:24Speaker 7: didn't have mentioned any of this to you, No, man,
- 16:26Speaker 7: she means nothing this to me.
- 16:27Speaker 10: Okay, all right, Well what this is man? A fourth
- 16:30Speaker 10: to three relationship, Maurice? Is this? You know? You spend
- 16:33Speaker 10: four days with Kesha and she comes over to my
- 16:37Speaker 10: place and she spends the other three days with me.
- 16:40Speaker 10: That's what a four to three relationship. So see this
- 16:43Speaker 10: kind of frees you up, man on anything you might
- 16:45Speaker 10: want to do on those other three days. Man, Well,
- 16:47Speaker 10: she might be tying you down. You know, so for
- 16:50Speaker 10: them days, you know you would earn, but the other
- 16:52Speaker 10: three days you kind of have some free time to yourself.
- 16:55Speaker 10: But she'll be over my place on the other three days.
- 16:57Speaker 10: That's what that's what basically a four to three relationship is.
- 17:00Speaker 10: Pardon me, I said what now?
- 17:02Speaker 7: I say, pardon me? You say she'll spend four days
- 17:06Speaker 7: with me, three days with you.
- 17:08Speaker 10: That's that's it, sir, That's the four to three relationship
- 17:10Speaker 10: right there. Maurice. You know you're you're really gonna like this,
- 17:12Speaker 10: man like I say, she was excited about it.
- 17:15Speaker 7: Hold are you serious?
- 17:17Speaker 10: Uh yeah, I'm there serious man like I said, Keisha
- 17:20Speaker 10: was excited. I know.
- 17:23Speaker 7: Wife, ain't discuss you about basic ship spinish. Four days
- 17:27Speaker 7: with me, three days with man? Are you talking about
- 17:31Speaker 7: my wife? Mama? No? Yeah, I know you Hold up?
- 17:35Speaker 7: What thing again? My name Devin? Devin? Say bro, I
- 17:39Speaker 7: don't play things. Man. I don't know how got my mama.

- 34:24Speaker 1: Say, I'm just saying.
- 34:25Speaker 12: I don't know what Usher has done to Will, but
- 34:27Speaker 12: he getting the B A T right time. War Just
- 34:29Speaker 12: where's Will gonna be when he gets the award? You
- 34:31Speaker 12: don't even know where's Will.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Oh, he's better not run up on a t L.
- 34:43Speaker 2: I know.
- 34:46Speaker 11: You're gonna get tip and everybody running up on that now,
- 34:50Speaker 11: especially if Usher is in those rollerskates, it would be
- 34:57Speaker 11: going down all right.
- 34:58Speaker 5: The BT Awards, hosted by Rushia p Henson, will air Sunday.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Eight pm Eastern Okay on BET of course.
- 35:06Speaker 5: Finally, in entertainment News, Prince, the Isley Brothers, Fantasia, Bill Duke,
- 35:10Speaker 5: Nia Long Junior, and Sherry Shepherd My Girl Sherry Shepherd,
- 35:15Speaker 5: Courtney b Vance, Buster Rhymes, and Jane Fonda. I thought
- 35:19Speaker 5: Jane Fonda already would have had a Hollywood Walk of
- 35:22Speaker 5: Fame star Wow and Misty Copeland. They're going they're among
- 35:28Speaker 5: the thirty artists for the twenty twenty five Hollywood Walk
- 35:31Speaker 5: of Fame class. So congratulations to them, Congress.
- 35:36Speaker 1: But Prince, what the world right?
- 35:40Speaker 4: I'm judge right, Dickens.
- 35:43Speaker 5: Y'all laid on Prince coming up in twenty minutes after
- 35:46Speaker 5: the hour, Donald Trump wants Joe Biden to take the president. Now,
- 35:50Speaker 5: he wants the president to take a drug test before
- 35:52Speaker 5: tomorrow's presidential debate.
- 35:54Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this.
- 35:56Speaker 5: You're listening Hardy Morning Show. And now, according to USA Today,
- 36:01Speaker 5: President Biden and former President Donald Trump, they're going to
- 36:04Speaker 5: face off for their very first debate that will be tomorrow, Thursday,
- 36:09Speaker 5: June twenty seventh, in Atlanta. CNN, the host of the
- 36:13Speaker 5: June twenty seventh debate, recently released additional rules.
- 36:17Speaker 13: Now.
- 36:17Speaker 5: They say both candidates microphones will be muted until it's
- 36:21Speaker 5: their turn to speak good idea, and they won't be
- 36:25Speaker 5: allowed to interact with their campaign staff during the two
- 36:29Speaker 5: commercial breaks.
- 36:30Speaker 9: Now.
- 36:31Speaker 5: Speaking of the debate, former President Trump suggested President Joe
- 36:35Speaker 5: Biden should be drug tested before their debate and agree
- 36:38Speaker 5: to take one himself. Trump and the Republicans have long,
- 36:43Speaker 5: of course, accused Biden of using performance enhancing drugs to
- 36:47Speaker 5: appear more agile. The Biden campaign dismissed Trump's accusation, referring
- 36:53Speaker 5: to remarks made by Biden's campaign co chairman Mitch Landrew
- 36:57Speaker 5: in an appearance on Meet the Press on Sunday. He said,
- 37:00Speaker 5: Trump's going to talk trash like that. That's what he
- 37:03Speaker 5: does all the time, because that is what he does.
- 37:06Speaker 5: So they think just the Olympics, like he'll steroid just
- 37:11Speaker 5: saying is well speech?
- 37:13Speaker 2: He don speech that right, that's what they're saying.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Are they only like four years apart?
- 37:19Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 37:20Speaker 1: Age in age?
- 37:22Speaker 5: Yeah, Yeah, that's the divide, is not that wide? Yeah?
- 37:27Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 37:28Speaker 4: Come on, they just talked about They're just talking, ain't
- 37:31Speaker 4: they talking?
- 37:32Speaker 2: Talk?
- 37:33Speaker 4: So what performance enhancing drugs makes you more agile in talking?
- 37:38Speaker 2: That's what?
- 37:40Speaker 4: Yeah, don't. I don't know what this is.
- 37:44Speaker 2: Be good, though, That's gonna be the most ignorant debate
- 37:47Speaker 2: you've ever seen. It's gonna be good. And I can
- 37:49Speaker 2: assure you this mute button is not gonna hold it.
- 37:53Speaker 2: He's gonna talk way over that music.
- 37:55Speaker 13: There are a lot of issues going on in the country,
- 37:58Speaker 13: all of this divide and Trump it's gonna do probably
- 38:01Speaker 13: more of the same, come out with the insults, come
- 38:04Speaker 13: out with.
- 38:04Speaker 1: The trash talk and the distractions and all that.
- 38:08Speaker 13: But this time, but this time, you know, versus to
- 38:11Speaker 13: me twenty twenty President Biden.
- 38:15Speaker 1: He is the president this time.
- 38:18Speaker 5: So go ahead, Tommy, we.
- 38:20Speaker 8: Call it all that. When when when when they go low,
- 38:23Speaker 8: we go high? I don't want to hear that this time.
- 38:26Speaker 2: Every time Trump says something, I want to say. I
- 38:28Speaker 2: don't talk to felonies. I don't talk to I just
- 38:30Speaker 2: don't felons. I talk the.
- 38:32Speaker 8: Felons, Fela, neese, fella, nons. I don't talk to him.
- 38:35Speaker 5: I'm sorry, I'm thinking that the president, you know how
- 38:38Speaker 5: he really is. He might might say, he might let
- 38:44Speaker 5: a cuss words slip.
- 38:45Speaker 1: He might yeah.
- 38:46Speaker 4: Yeah, According to just Play Thursday Night, he will.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Are you doing Trump?
- 38:54Speaker 4: Trump?
- 38:59Speaker 2: The Man's gonna be.
- 39:02Speaker 1: All right, coming up in thirty four minutes after the hour.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Now listen to this, guys.
- 39:05Speaker 5: If someone throws a party is everyone all the guests,
- 39:09Speaker 5: are they obligated to stay and clean? We'll talk about
- 39:13Speaker 5: it right after this.
- 39:15Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 39:17Speaker 5: Morning show, all right, guys, so listen to this. If
- 39:21Speaker 5: someone throws a party, are all guests obligated to stay
- 39:25Speaker 5: and clean? That's the question on the table. This is
- 39:28Speaker 5: from Tony and Steve HARVEFM. Tony says, I was at
- 39:31Speaker 5: a friend's barbecue the other day and I felt bad
- 39:33Speaker 5: when it was over because everyone was cleaning up. But
- 39:36Speaker 5: I really had to go. I had to pick my
- 39:39Speaker 5: son up and get the other kids home to go
- 39:42Speaker 5: to sleep. Staying to clean was not an option for me.
- 39:46Speaker 5: I've had parties where no one, no one stays and cleans.
- 39:50Speaker 1: So here's my question. This is the question from Tony.
- 39:53Speaker 5: How obligated are party guests to stay at the end
- 39:56Speaker 5: and help the host clean?
- 39:57Speaker 2: If I throw a barbecue, then yes, I'm not really
- 40:01Speaker 2: expecting nobody to stay around and help me clean up.
- 40:04Speaker 8: I just don't.
- 40:05Speaker 2: It was my choice. I decided to invite you old,
- 40:07Speaker 2: so I'm not expecting you to do anything. I'm not
- 40:10Speaker 2: expecting you to bring nothing. I'm not I'm laying it
- 40:12Speaker 2: all the way out. But now let's get to that
- 40:14Speaker 2: Thanksgiving though, that's the one that Thanksgiving, that that pot
- 40:19Speaker 2: loup where everybody bringing something that one.
- 40:21Speaker 8: Well, the dishes are just.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Everywhere, because think about it, when we're doing a barbecue,
- 40:26Speaker 2: it's really it's paper plates, you know what I mean.
- 40:28Speaker 2: You know you're making it easy and simple, but when
- 40:32Speaker 2: you pull out all that that that that that good
- 40:35Speaker 2: flat well, all that good good everything. Now okay, all right,
- 40:41Speaker 2: if you're gonna sit here and take four plates home, yes, yes,
- 40:45Speaker 2: we're gonna clean up together.
- 40:48Speaker 1: Oil oil. Well, Tommy, you're saying it depends on the occasion.
- 40:57Speaker 2: If I think it depends on the occasion. When it's Thanksgiving,
- 41:00Speaker 2: and because it's a mess, we everybody need to clean up.
- 41:02Speaker 2: Let's get together, that's all. And that's what I've seen.
- 41:05Speaker 2: You know our family members do they all get together
- 41:07Speaker 2: clean up, and.
- 41:08Speaker 1: We couldn't a family member.
- 41:11Speaker 8: You know what I don't.
- 41:12Speaker 2: If you hate at thanks get pinging at the house.
- 41:17Speaker 2: You know you got four or five paper plates wrapped
- 41:20Speaker 2: in foil. Yes, I don't care who you got to
- 41:23Speaker 2: pick up. You're gonna be late picking them up, okay,
- 41:26Speaker 2: but you're clean up round here.
- 41:28Speaker 5: If you're guests. Go ahead, Junior, I'm gonna let you speak.
- 41:32Speaker 4: I'm totally against what time he's talking about.
- 41:36Speaker 12: I'm not on the clean up crews. I'm the guest.
- 41:39Speaker 12: You called me and asked me to be that. That's
- 41:42Speaker 12: why you over here picking up. Okay, I am telling
- 41:46Speaker 12: you right now, if you look for me to have
- 41:48Speaker 12: a trash bag at your house, I will not.
- 41:52Speaker 5: I have gone so far as to ask do you
- 41:55Speaker 5: need any help?
- 41:56Speaker 1: Meaning that ask me, I didn't mean.
- 41:58Speaker 12: Everybody, meaning, don't even bring up do you need anything?
- 42:03Speaker 12: I am here to eat and be merry.
- 42:05Speaker 4: That's what I'm being.
- 42:08Speaker 12: So I appreciate what Timmy throw a barbecue. I love
- 42:11Speaker 12: going to look at the lake, have a wonderful.
- 42:13Speaker 4: Time, and then I'm leaving.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Gotta get out of it.
- 42:18Speaker 2: When you call, when y'all say do you need any help?
- 42:21Speaker 2: If they say yes, then what oh?
- 42:24Speaker 1: Look at the time, girl, I'm sorry.
- 42:30Speaker 5: They're not going to say yes. You already know they're
- 42:33Speaker 5: not gonna say O.
- 42:35Speaker 4: My way out. I point out stuff. Did you see
- 42:37Speaker 4: that play by the door.
- 42:41Speaker 2: That I did?
- 42:45Speaker 5: Yes, they're not okay, so let me.
- 42:50Speaker 13: It depends on who is throwing the party. If it's
- 42:54Speaker 13: somebody I'm very very close to, I will say you
- 42:58Speaker 13: need some help, and I look in their kitchen and
- 43:01Speaker 13: I looked at they're overwhelmed.
- 43:03Speaker 1: Then I will help.
- 43:05Speaker 5: I will help.
- 43:05Speaker 1: It just depends on who it is.
- 43:07Speaker 5: Different but right.
- 43:08Speaker 13: But but I'm like Junior, I'm probably gonna bounce before
- 43:13Speaker 13: the end, before the clean up comes dipping out.
- 43:18Speaker 8: Yes, it doesn't look like the kitchen.
- 43:20Speaker 2: If it looked like the kitchen and boomerangey, come on, man,
- 43:26Speaker 2: don't leave me like this.
- 43:27Speaker 1: Man, don't do that when parents left.
- 43:34Speaker 4: Bank.
- 43:35Speaker 8: Hey, man, give me some help over here.
- 43:40Speaker 12: If I had to kill an insect while I was
- 43:43Speaker 12: at your house, I've done my job.
- 43:46Speaker 1: If you had to kill an insect, if I had
- 43:50Speaker 1: to get there, legs on it.
- 43:52Speaker 4: I'm going.
- 43:56Speaker 8: All right.
- 43:59Speaker 1: Happy holidays, All right, coming up?
- 44:01Speaker 13: Girl.
- 44:01Speaker 1: If you tell me Frank phone call right after this
- 44:04Speaker 1: you mean happy fourth This is on the fourth holiday.
- 44:11Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 44:13Speaker 5: Morning show coming up at the top of the hour
- 44:16Speaker 5: right about four minutes after. It's my Strawberry letter for today,
- 44:20Speaker 5: and the subject is is it too risky to stay
- 44:24Speaker 5: with my husband? We'll get into that find out what
- 44:27Speaker 5: it's all about in just a few because right now,
- 44:30Speaker 5: the nephew is here with today's prank. Phone call.
- 44:34Speaker 2: Nephew, Well, you know I'm fresh all for performing in Houston,
- 44:40Speaker 2: Texas for the lighthouse. That was the cry Out the
- 44:44Speaker 2: cry Out four convention. It was an amazing, amazing, amazing
- 44:49Speaker 2: weekend in Houston. May passed the key on, did the
- 44:51Speaker 2: dog one thing? And I represented joll Well. The nephew
- 44:54Speaker 2: went in in acted a food right before Fred Hamming
- 44:57Speaker 2: and tied Trippitt. Yes I did, Yes, I did. So
- 45:00Speaker 2: this prank kind of ties into church. This right here
- 45:03Speaker 2: is called uh, how much in the account?
- 45:07Speaker 1: Pastor? How much in the account? Pastor?

- 45:12Speaker 2: Yeah, that's one thing. You can't ask the pastor how
- 45:14Speaker 2: much we got in the account?
- 45:15Speaker 1: Why is that your business? Why isn't it our business?
- 45:20Speaker 2: Called? Why don't we ask these pastor how much we got?
- 45:23Speaker 8: All right? I want to know how much is in
- 45:25Speaker 8: the account? Cat dog? If you would.
- 45:28Speaker 2: Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach Pastor Hayes.
- 45:33Speaker 8: Pastor Hayes, how.
- 45:34Speaker 2: You doing this is? This is brother Line Line Thompson.
- 45:37Speaker 1: How you doing it?
- 45:38Speaker 3: I'm good brother, and how can I help you today?
- 45:41Speaker 8: Pastor?
- 45:41Speaker 2: I'm actually one of your members at the church. And
- 45:45Speaker 2: I want to just command you that you're doing a
- 45:47Speaker 2: good job the way you are displaying safety. Let me
- 45:51Speaker 2: say that first and foremost.
- 45:53Speaker 3: Okay, cool, thank you. You know, we just want everybody
- 45:55Speaker 3: to be safe and healthy.
- 45:57Speaker 1: And your name again the brother line of Tom Thompson.
- 46:00Speaker 3: Okay, and and and other times I'm tying about to
- 46:03Speaker 3: be in the middle of dinner. How can they help you?
- 46:05Speaker 7: Brother?
- 46:05Speaker 8: Well, here here's what I wanted to ask you. Man, uh,
- 46:09Speaker 8: I want to ask you this.
- 46:10Speaker 2: I know, you know a lot of people are going
- 46:12Speaker 2: through different things and and and people are, you know,
- 46:15Speaker 2: trying to make sure they keep food and stuff in
- 46:17Speaker 2: the house because you know, time like this, you know
- 46:19Speaker 2: you kind of want to stay put, and but you
- 46:21Speaker 2: want to make sure you got enough food and water
- 46:23Speaker 2: and things like that. So but but but what I
- 46:25Speaker 2: wanted my reason for calling you is I wanted to
- 46:28Speaker 2: ask you how how much money do we have in
- 46:32Speaker 2: the account, the church account? How much money do we
- 46:36Speaker 2: have in there? Brother?
- 46:38Speaker 10: Brother?
- 46:38Speaker 3: What what do you say? Your name was? Again?
- 46:40Speaker 2: Brother, My name is brother Lianel Thompson.
- 46:43Speaker 3: Okay, Brother Thompson. How did you get my personal cell
- 46:46Speaker 3: phone number to be calling me at home the time?
- 46:48Speaker 7: Of day.
- 46:49Speaker 2: Well, I got this number from one of the brothers
- 46:51Speaker 2: at the church.
- 46:52Speaker 3: What what brother church? But they know not to give
- 46:54Speaker 3: my personal number off to to people I don't know you.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Well, I'm a I'm a but I'm a but I'm
- 47:00Speaker 2: a member though i'm a member.
- 47:02Speaker 3: Well, how long you been a member? Because I've been
- 47:04Speaker 3: pasting this church for ten years and your name ain't
- 47:06Speaker 3: familiar to me. How long? How long you been a
- 47:08Speaker 3: member of my church?
- 47:09Speaker 2: I've been a member of probably going on going on
- 47:13Speaker 2: three years now, but I ain't I ain't been since,
- 47:17Speaker 2: you know, since that day I joined.
- 47:18Speaker 8: You know, you know, I kind of got caught out there,
- 47:21Speaker 8: you know how I go.
- 47:22Speaker 3: But uh yeah, wait wait wait wait wait wait, So
- 47:24Speaker 3: you you've been a member of my church two or
- 47:26Speaker 3: three years? You ain't been to the church and two
- 47:28Speaker 3: to three years are you calling me to ask me
- 47:30Speaker 3: about finances of my church? Well, I'm gonna say what
- 47:34Speaker 3: you're looking for?
- 47:35Speaker 2: Well, I am a member, so I mean I do
- 47:37Speaker 2: have to don't I have the right to know what
- 47:39Speaker 2: we got in there, what we got in the account?
- 47:41Speaker 3: Actually you don't. You don't have to write to that
- 47:44Speaker 3: question if you don't actively come to the church. You
- 47:46Speaker 3: can't come to the church, sign up the church, and
- 47:49Speaker 3: then call me three years later asking me what we
- 47:52Speaker 3: got going on at church. So I need to understand
- 47:54Speaker 3: what is your purpose?
- 47:55Speaker 7: What do you well?
- 47:56Speaker 8: Like I say everybody going through hard times, I'm.
- 47:59Speaker 2: Trying to see what we got in there, because you know,
- 48:02Speaker 2: I need to pick up a few things from the stove.
- 48:05Speaker 2: I don't have the money right now, but shouldn't I
- 48:08Speaker 2: be able to lean on my church?
- 48:09Speaker 8: Though?
- 48:10Speaker 3: You can lean on that. We've done a lot of
- 48:12Speaker 3: stuff in the community. We've been seeing the elderly. We
- 48:14Speaker 3: got a full bank. We've been cash acting people some
- 48:17Speaker 3: money that when we can. But you ain't been at
- 48:20Speaker 3: this church in three years. You can't call me after
- 48:22Speaker 3: three years and think I'm about to give you some
- 48:24Speaker 3: money for someone I don't even know if you're a
- 48:26Speaker 3: real member.
- 48:27Speaker 8: I am a real I'm a real member. So hold on,
- 48:30Speaker 8: hold on, hold on, hold on, pastor.
- 48:32Speaker 3: Hold on, no, no, no, hold on, no, no, no,
- 48:34Speaker 3: you hold on what boy? Look here, I'm trying to
- 48:37Speaker 3: sit down have dinner with my family. You sitting here
- 48:40Speaker 3: on my last night, and look here, brother Thompson, I
- 48:42Speaker 3: don't know you. I ain't never heard of you. You
- 48:45Speaker 3: am not about to call here and try to get
- 48:47Speaker 3: some money out of me. You ain't even a member
- 48:50Speaker 3: of the church. I am a member of the church
- 48:53Speaker 3: because you come to the church one time, you ain't
- 48:55Speaker 3: been back in three years, and you come to me
- 48:58Speaker 3: for some money Amber gave your mama. You are not
- 49:01Speaker 3: a member of this church.
- 49:02Speaker 8: Sir, I am a member of the church. Look, look, look,
- 49:06Speaker 8: let me tell you something.
- 49:07Speaker 2: I know this ain't no.
- 49:10Speaker 3: Tell you where you can't on my church two or
- 49:12Speaker 3: three years ago and called me three years later, get
- 49:16Speaker 3: my number from somebody and ask me for money because
- 49:18Speaker 3: you're going through hard time. Now, if you was a
- 49:20Speaker 3: true member of the church, you'll understand how we work
- 49:23Speaker 3: and how we give money to people that's struggling. I
- 49:25Speaker 3: just delivered forty meals today to our elderly.
- 49:29Speaker 10: Huh.
- 49:30Speaker 3: Last week we cashed out people money to go pick
- 49:32Speaker 3: up grocery comparis we do you.
- 49:34Speaker 2: Need my Do you need my cash?
- 49:35Speaker 8: At then? Do you need my cash?
- 49:38Speaker 10: Boy?
- 49:38Speaker 3: Boy? You gonna make me because you ain't even tithing.
- 49:42Speaker 3: So how you not tithing?
- 49:44Speaker 4: I told you.
- 49:44Speaker 2: Out here fell on bad times, didn't I say I
- 49:47Speaker 2: fell on bad times?
- 49:48Speaker 3: You fell on bad times for three years.
- 49:51Speaker 2: Hey, hey, you know it takes longer for some people. Okay, fact,
- 49:54Speaker 2: why are you? Why are you judging me in opposing
- 49:57Speaker 2: trying to figure out how to cash.
- 49:58Speaker 3: At me so I can get a member of my church.
- 50:01Speaker 3: I don't know if you some scam artist trying to
- 50:04Speaker 3: get money from the church. Sir, I have never met you.
- 50:06Speaker 4: I don't know you.
- 50:08Speaker 3: Matter of fact, I'm about to call up the deacons
- 50:10Speaker 3: and see who you are and why they would give
- 50:12Speaker 3: my number to some point to call me and ask me.
- 50:14Speaker 7: For some money.
- 50:15Speaker 8: Hey, let me say this to you.

- 53:55Speaker 2: We got it for you here. It is Strawberry Letter.
- 53:58Speaker 5: Thank you, nephew. Sub isn't too risky to stay with
- 54:02Speaker 5: my husband. Dear Stephen Shirley, my husband has put my
- 54:06Speaker 5: life in danger for the last time. When we started dating,
- 54:10Speaker 5: he had a lot of loose ends to tie up
- 54:12Speaker 5: with women from his past. Even at our wedding, an
- 54:15Speaker 5: ex of his was in the parking lot crying and
- 54:17Speaker 5: one of his cousins had to get her under control.
- 54:20Speaker 5: We've been married for two years and we live in
- 54:22Speaker 5: his house. Things have been quiet lately, and even his
- 54:26Speaker 5: ex wife has settled down and stopped annoying me. He
- 54:29Speaker 5: mentioned to me how one of his exes lost her
- 54:31Speaker 5: dad and he was close to the guy. He said
- 54:34Speaker 5: his exit moved to London and they lost touch. He
- 54:37Speaker 5: admitted that she used to live with him for a
- 54:39Speaker 5: short period of time, but they broke up and he
- 54:41Speaker 5: hadn't heard from her in over five years. The funeral
- 54:45Speaker 5: was last weekend and the girl came to town. How
- 54:48Speaker 5: do I know because she showed up in my kitchen
- 54:51Speaker 5: Friday night. I was lying on the sofa watching a
- 54:54Speaker 5: movie and my husband was in the back watching TV
- 54:56Speaker 5: in our bedroom. I heard the garage go up, so
- 55:00Speaker 5: I sat up, unable to move or scream because I
- 55:03Speaker 5: thought we were getting robbed. Then the back door opened
- 55:06Speaker 5: and the woman walked in and asked for my husband.
- 55:09Speaker 5: I screamed and ran to the back. My husband ran
- 55:12Speaker 5: to the front with a bat and the woman was
- 55:14Speaker 5: sitting on the edge of a chair. He chuckled and
- 55:17Speaker 5: said she scared the crap out of us. He yelled
- 55:20Speaker 5: for me to come to the front, but I was
- 55:21Speaker 5: already peeking from behind the door. He told her to
- 55:25Speaker 5: give his garage remote, give him his garage remote and key,
- 55:29Speaker 5: and he told her he was married. She said she
- 55:32Speaker 5: had no idea and wanted to surprise him. I was frazzled,
- 55:35Speaker 5: but I got myself together and I told her to
- 55:38Speaker 5: stay and I left. My husband said, it's all a misunderstanding.
- 55:42Speaker 5: Is this grounds for a divorce? Or should I give
- 55:45Speaker 5: him one more chance? Wow, listen, everyone has a pass,
- 55:52Speaker 5: and you said that with your husband and his exes.
- 55:55Speaker 5: But everything seemed to calm down. But the pass should
- 55:59Speaker 5: stay in the past.
- 56:00Speaker 2: Now.
- 56:01Speaker 5: It doesn't look like your husband did anything here except
- 56:05Speaker 5: for maybe not getting his remote back from this woman.
- 56:08Speaker 5: And that was five years ago. From five years ago,
- 56:11Speaker 5: I don't think you have to divorce him over this.
- 56:13Speaker 5: But he was I mean, because he was just as
- 56:16Speaker 5: surprised to see her as you were. But it certainly
- 56:20Speaker 5: grounds for him to do something. She's got to know that,
- 56:23Speaker 5: in no certain terms, she can't ever barge into your
- 56:26Speaker 5: house or anyone's house unannounced period. I mean, she took
- 56:31Speaker 5: a big risk doing that. She was too comfortable doing that.
- 56:35Speaker 5: She could have gotten shot or hit with the bat
- 56:38Speaker 5: or anything. So is your husband lying about being in
- 56:41Speaker 5: contact with her? My question is why would you even
- 56:45Speaker 5: leave out of your own house and leave her in
- 56:47Speaker 5: there with your husband? You should have I mean you
- 56:53Speaker 5: should have. He should have told her right then and
- 56:57Speaker 5: there that she.
- 57:00Speaker 2: Rude.
- 57:00Speaker 5: She didn't even apologize to you or anything. She didn't
- 57:03Speaker 5: announce herself nothing. I mean, who does this? This woman
- 57:07Speaker 5: was a little touched for doing this after five years.
- 57:10Speaker 5: She needs to get on a plane head back to
- 57:13Speaker 5: London immediately. You need to reprogram your garage opener.
- 57:17Speaker 8: All of that.
- 57:18Speaker 5: This is craziness right here, This really is, Tommy.
- 57:23Speaker 2: You know what, you are the most unhospitable woman I
- 57:27Speaker 2: have ever seen.
- 57:28Speaker 8: You really are? You really are? Yeah, this is just this.
- 57:34Speaker 8: Where is the hospitality? What is this here?
- 57:36Speaker 2: This woman and drove all the way from London to
- 57:38Speaker 2: see y'all, and flew all the way over here from London,
- 57:40Speaker 2: se y'all, and it's how you act.
- 57:42Speaker 8: Look at this?
- 57:44Speaker 2: What are you? Why are you acting like this? She
- 57:50Speaker 2: come all this far to see y'all? And this is
- 57:53Speaker 2: how you act.
- 57:54Speaker 8: Now you up in here screaming and holland and cannon.
- 57:56Speaker 8: What is all that about?
- 57:58Speaker 2: What is what is wrong?
- 57:59Speaker 4: You know what the problem with you?
- 58:01Speaker 2: You don't like company, that's what's wrong with you. People
- 58:06Speaker 2: get themselves all dressed up, pack their bags, come all
- 58:08Speaker 2: the way across country, all the way from Leunning to
- 58:10Speaker 2: the US to see y'all. And this is how you act.
- 58:13Speaker 2: Come on, now, you can do better than that. This
- 58:16Speaker 2: woman come way too far and she coming there to
- 58:18Speaker 2: surprise y'all.
- 58:19Speaker 8: And what we get from you?
- 58:21Speaker 7: You?
- 58:21Speaker 10: You?
- 58:21Speaker 8: You scream and higher and run out the house. You're
- 58:23Speaker 8: gonna leave a house? And then what what?
- 58:25Speaker 2: What is that?
- 58:26Speaker 8: Come on?
- 58:27Speaker 2: Now, you could do better than that, now you could.
- 58:29Speaker 2: I'm sure we had some food and ice. Boy, we
- 58:30Speaker 2: could have asked that lady. She wants something to eat?
- 58:32Speaker 2: You want a cold drink or something?
- 58:33Speaker 1: Anything?
- 58:34Speaker 2: You ain't off of nothing, you ain't sit down. Let
- 58:37Speaker 2: me get you a plate of summer. Who you got
- 58:39Speaker 2: to be tired, girl, You got to be tired. You didn't,
- 58:41Speaker 2: you didn't came this far. Let me get you something.
- 58:44Speaker 2: But no, no, you want to scream and run into
- 58:49Speaker 2: the back and peek behind whatever the peak behind the
- 58:51Speaker 2: door to see what's going on?
- 58:53Speaker 7: You know what?
- 58:54Speaker 2: You know what? You are the kind of person that
- 58:57Speaker 2: don't nobody want to come to your house and visit.
- 58:59Speaker 2: That's the kind of person. And I see it, I
- 59:02Speaker 2: see it. I wouldn't want to come fool with you
- 59:05Speaker 2: if that's how you're gonna act. And I flew this
- 59:07Speaker 2: far come see company, to come see my ex. And
- 59:11Speaker 2: what happened when they see her?
- 59:12Speaker 8: He chuckles?
- 59:14Speaker 1: Okay, we got a chuckle. He not scared?
- 59:16Speaker 8: Get you scared of?
- 59:17Speaker 2: I ain't know that was you? Okay, Now now you
- 59:20Speaker 2: can at least say, okay, baby, who this woman you know?
- 59:24Speaker 3: For?
- 59:24Speaker 4: Who this woman?
- 59:25Speaker 2: You know? Who is this woman? And then finally we'll
- 59:29Speaker 2: get to the bottom of it. But now you're just
- 59:30Speaker 2: gonna pack up and leave. You gonna now she packed
- 59:34Speaker 2: to come to y'all, You pack.
- 59:36Speaker 8: Up and leave.
- 59:36Speaker 1: I don't get it.
- 59:37Speaker 2: Everybody leave it. Ain't nobody really making no conversation. Come
- 59:40Speaker 2: on now, let's sit down and talk about this. See
- 59:42Speaker 2: what's going on. She didn't know y'all had gotten married.
- 59:45Speaker 2: She didn't know all that.
- 59:47Speaker 8: Okay, it was known. Show up some love.
- 59:49Speaker 2: I mean, if you want to get the remote from
- 59:51Speaker 2: the from the garage, I got it. Okay, I get
- 59:54Speaker 2: that part.
- 59:54Speaker 5: All right?
- 59:55Speaker 8: You heard you heard the garage go up? Is that
- 59:57Speaker 8: what bother?
- 59:58Speaker 7: You?
- 59:58Speaker 8: Come on now? Who he whoever let the garage go up?
- 1:00:01Speaker 8: Got a remote?
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: She got a come on now?
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: Based on your response, I cannot wait to hear juniors.
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: And that's coming up. In part two of the Strawberry
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: Letter for Today, at twenty three minutes after the hour
- 1:00:18Speaker 5: today Strawberry Letter, subject is it too risky to stay
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: with my husband?
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening.
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: Morning show. All right, guys, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: The subject is it too risky to stay with my husband?
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: A woman wrote in she's married. She's mad at her
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: husband for putting her life in danger, she says, and
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: this is the last time he's going to do it.
- 1:00:39Speaker 5: They started dating. He had a lot of loose ends
- 1:00:42Speaker 5: to tie up, Like you know, his exes from the past.
- 1:00:45Speaker 4: Women.
- 1:00:46Speaker 5: Even at their wedding. She says there was an ex
- 1:00:49Speaker 5: crying in the parking lot. They've been married for just
- 1:00:52Speaker 5: two short years. They live in his house. Things have
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: been quiet lately, no exes, nothing like that, so you know,
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: everything's you know, been pretty cool.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: No one's been annoying the wife.
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: But he mentioned to the wife that one of his
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: ex's dad died recently and he was really close to
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: the guy. Well, the ex moved to London and he
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: hasn't seen her, talked to her in five years. They've
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: lost touch. The funeral was last weekend. The woman, the daughter,
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: came to town for her dad's funeral, and the wife
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: knew that because the woman came in their house. She
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: saw her sitting she was in her kitchen on this
- 1:01:30Speaker 5: past Friday night. So, needless to say, the wife was startled.
- 1:01:36Speaker 5: The husband was startled. He came from the back with
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: the bat. What happened was the ex that came from
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: London that he hasn't spoken to in five years, still
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: had their garage opener. So she opened up the garage
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: and just came on in the house.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: That's how you packed, that's how you packed and everything.
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: So the woman wants to know after the husband came
- 1:01:59Speaker 5: out of the back with a bat, and the woman
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: wants to know she left by the way the wife
- 1:02:04Speaker 5: left and let the woman in the house with her husband.
- 1:02:07Speaker 5: Uh So she wants to know should she divorce her
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: husband over this? Is this grounds for divorce? Or should
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: she give her husband one more chance? We've heard, you've
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: heard from me, you heard from temmy. Now it's your turn, junior.
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: What do you say to the all of it?
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: Get out?
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: It's a scary movie.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: Get out?
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: Get out? First of all, how famous is this house?
- 1:02:33Speaker 7: Uh huh?
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: Because everybody can find it, everybody know where you live?
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: All these loops?
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: How many loose ends is it?
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: How many you?
- 1:02:45Speaker 4: First of all? Who made the garage dough opener? Because
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: it's still working after two years? You mean to tell me,
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: is this a genie? Who made garage? Is this a genie?
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: I mean, why wouldn't it work?
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: He's been gone, she in London. She comes back and
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: clicked the button like she just come off vacation.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Just come on in, battery, the battery. She just came
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: on in.
- 1:03:15Speaker 12: And who is you letting the woman just come in
- 1:03:17Speaker 12: your house? And you did beat her down? I just
- 1:03:20Speaker 12: would have got if somebody walk and call the house
- 1:03:22Speaker 12: right now, come on, I don't care who it is,
- 1:03:26Speaker 12: just another woman your ass when he is behind the dough.
- 1:03:30Speaker 12: That's what he come out with the fact, how many
- 1:03:33Speaker 12: people know where this house is? So we offer Martin
- 1:03:37Speaker 12: Luther King and what.
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: Cause it's the most famous street, everybody knowing Martin Luther King.
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: We're off Martin Luther King and what where we're at?
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: Where we at? Because everybody know where you live. This
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: don't make no sense. Yes, it's risky because it's gonna
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: be matter of fact. I just checked my key ring.
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: I gotta key.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: I got to keys of the house.
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: Hell, I didn't even ain't been over there yet, I
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: got one.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: I can't walk in.
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: Everybody know where you all at. Yeah, it's risky, it's
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: very risky.
- 1:04:11Speaker 12: It's no reason for you set up here and stay
- 1:04:13Speaker 12: burried to this man because you don't know who else
- 1:04:15Speaker 12: for to come in for X from the fifth grade
- 1:04:17Speaker 12: and the walk in.
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: X from the ninth. So yeah, it's risky. You sit
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: up there in your house on your couch and another
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: woman walk in and said, and this is how do
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: I know?
- 1:04:30Speaker 12: I found her in my kitchen. What you know what
- 1:04:32Speaker 12: I mean place you had to pass to get to
- 1:04:33Speaker 12: the kitchen. You had to leave the foyer, you had
- 1:04:36Speaker 12: to pass and die in room. You had went to
- 1:04:37Speaker 12: the family room. Now you're behind found the kitchen.
- 1:04:40Speaker 5: And she had the nerve to ask her for her husband?
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: Why is milk?
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: Didn't even know they were married?
- 1:04:47Speaker 12: Oh my gosh, this is statement. Let me just see
- 1:04:49Speaker 12: how this is. Go call her, let me ask you.
- 1:04:50Speaker 12: Some car woman walk in and say, way is Tosh?
- 1:04:53Speaker 12: What happens next?
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: Carler?
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: What a police report? What a yellow tape?
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Well, the police are are coming real soon. It's gonna

- 1:08:29Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, he ain't never coach nothing.

- 1:08:39Speaker 12: keep sixty five million. This sounded like a job for everybody.
- 1:08:43Speaker 12: Shout out the Monty Williams.
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: I wanted to shut up. I have to hit him
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: over the head. Boy, Tommy, you could be a coach

- 1:08:53Speaker 2: To be that good.
- 1:08:54Speaker 8: I'm not gonna be that good. I'm not. But I'm
- 1:09:00Speaker 8: the first one that Monday morning to get that check, though.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: The first one.
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: Also tonight.
- 1:09:07Speaker 12: The NBA Draft starts tonight. Bronnie James, you gonna see
- 1:09:11Speaker 12: who drafts.
- 1:09:11Speaker 8: Well, it's not like Riddick them gonna go get Bronnie.
- 1:09:14Speaker 10: That.
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: It only makes sense, don't it.
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: You got a podcast with his daddy. Yeah, you don't
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: that make.
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: You sense that? You mean they like you don't know him, right,
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: they like you don't know Bronnie.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: So how is the podcast going to work? Why you
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: ain't draft.
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: Mynelun Carl to keep doing it. It's kind of like,
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: we don't know how this is gonna work out.
- 1:09:36Speaker 12: It's just funny that he got the job and you
- 1:09:39Speaker 12: act like lebron like it was just a mysterious hire.
- 1:09:42Speaker 12: Nobody knew how he was gonna get Yeah, come on,
- 1:09:44Speaker 12: now you knew you wanted jj rid to be the coach.
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: Y bring your son to work.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: To A Lake's got work to do, man, Laker's got
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: work to do. Just going the hell and the handbag.
- 1:09:55Speaker 5: Now, well they got this coach that's never coached before.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: All right, thank you you and your coming up to
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: the town.
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: The hour.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: A man on social media needs some advice.
- 1:10:02Speaker 5: He says, my wife is mad that I've banned my
- 1:10:05Speaker 5: daughter from my car.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:10:09Speaker 8: They could have had unclestine.
- 1:10:12Speaker 5: You're listening morning show. All Right, this is from d
- 1:10:18Speaker 5: aunt Steve Harvey FM. He says, I've banned my daughter
- 1:10:22Speaker 5: from using our car, and my wife disagrees, accusing me
- 1:10:26Speaker 5: of quote overreacting. She's seventeen, our daughter is and has
- 1:10:30Speaker 5: started smoking. It's a disgusting habit, and I've told her so.
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: I also realized that kids are going to do what
- 1:10:36Speaker 5: they do, and I can't do much when it's outside
- 1:10:39Speaker 5: of our home and it's happening. Over the weekend, I
- 1:10:42Speaker 5: stopped to get gas and I saw her filling up
- 1:10:44Speaker 5: my wife's car and she was smoking while she was
- 1:10:48Speaker 5: doing it. This was a real deal breaker for me.
- 1:10:51Speaker 5: She knows how I feel about the smoking, but doing
- 1:10:53Speaker 5: it while filling up at a gas station is just
- 1:10:56Speaker 5: playing stupid and irresponsible. She can do whatever when she
- 1:11:00Speaker 5: owns her own car, but not with ours. Am I
- 1:11:02Speaker 5: really that out of line?
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: No, not at all.
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: This is ignorant, stupid, and you, as a parent, I
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: totally get it.
- 1:11:12Speaker 5: Oh.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: Isn't it amazing when your kids, you know, get to
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: that certain age and you have no more than that
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: over that big control over them. They're kind of more
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: of an adult now, and then you just look at
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: them and be like, Okay, was this my fault? Did
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: I do this? You start backtrack and trying to figure
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: out what you did wrong. You were like, no, I
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: didn't do this. You just stupid all by yourself. I
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: didn't do none of that part. I'm sorry. I didn't
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: raise this on you say the choices, the choices, man,
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: You just sit back and be like, okay, what made.
- 1:11:43Speaker 5: You do this? And the mom is on the daughter's side,
- 1:11:47Speaker 5: that's what I don't want. Yes, yes, yes, the mom
- 1:11:51Speaker 5: is mad at the dad for not letting the daughter
- 1:11:54Speaker 5: drive his car because she smokes.
- 1:11:57Speaker 13: Right, so they have to let me take you the
- 1:11:58Speaker 13: same thing as when it comes to parenting and Discilaine
- 1:12:03Speaker 13: nine front.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: Yes, first of.
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: All, smoking is bad altogether, but can I tell you,
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: as a man, it's even a bigger it's even a
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: bigger turn off when it's a woman.
- 1:12:12Speaker 8: Smoking just looks bad on a woman. It just looks bad.
- 1:12:15Speaker 5: There you go with that.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: I'm sorry, Just does it just looks bad?
- 1:12:20Speaker 5: Yeah, Carla.
- 1:12:22Speaker 13: Well these young kids too, they're vaping now, they're they're
- 1:12:27Speaker 13: doing a lot, and so I think the dad what
- 1:12:30Speaker 13: he's trying to say is, you know, this is not
- 1:12:32Speaker 13: a healthy habit. It's to toxic for your body, all
- 1:12:36Speaker 13: of these things, and so the mom just feels like, yeah,
- 1:12:40Speaker 13: she's probably smoking or doing whatever, but it was too
- 1:12:43Speaker 13: harsh for you to say that she can't drive the car. So,
- 1:12:46Speaker 13: like I said, my issue is that whatever the parents
- 1:12:49Speaker 13: agree on as discipline and trying to get this bad,
- 1:12:55Speaker 13: toxic habit that she's forming at.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: A very young age, they got to be together.
- 1:13:00Speaker 5: But right, okay, but that's that's the whole point. They
- 1:13:03Speaker 5: are not together.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: They're not together. And she's not just driving his car.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: She's smoking in his car.
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: You're not getting you're not getting my car.
- 1:13:13Speaker 5: You're not you're not getting in my car. And she's
- 1:13:17Speaker 5: only seventeen, she's not even grown yet.
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: Once again though, once again, we're not We're not y'all, y'all.
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: I can't say it though, I can't see it.
- 1:13:25Speaker 8: No need to work. Got they what at a gas
- 1:13:35Speaker 8: station and get gas?
- 1:13:38Speaker 5: That's dumb, that's just dumb.
- 1:13:41Speaker 4: It really Carriage started writing us and asking this, Am
- 1:13:44Speaker 4: I that out of line? Though?
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: What right?
- 1:13:49Speaker 5: You can you can?
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: You know you can fix this.
- 1:13:52Speaker 5: It's your daughter, Yeah, and she's living under your roof.
- 1:13:57Speaker 5: She's seventeen and smoking. No those together, none of it.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: I'm gonna beat that cigarette at your ass. I'm gonna
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: beat that cigaret. I'm sorry, y'all. I'm sorry. I'm gonna
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: spank that cigarette at your hand every time I see it,
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: every time I see your hand, gonna get tied at
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: this belt right here, I'm finish what what?
- 1:14:17Speaker 8: I'm sorry?
- 1:14:18Speaker 5: Yeah, in this whole thing. I'm really mad at the mom.
- 1:14:21Speaker 5: I really am. Yeah, I'm really mad at the mom.
- 1:14:24Speaker 5: You need This is your daughter seventeen smoking a cigarette
- 1:14:27Speaker 5: at a gas station.
- 1:14:30Speaker 8: At that gas wherever. I see the cigarette.
- 1:14:33Speaker 4: Give me the pump number. What pump number was, y'all?
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: Not a good look.
- 1:14:38Speaker 4: This is We're gonna show at a number four.
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: We're gonna do.
- 1:14:42Speaker 5: Bad parenting. Sorry, but bad parenting.
- 1:14:45Speaker 8: They gotta get together.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: I always have to present a united front to your kids.
- 1:14:52Speaker 5: Yeah, all right, guys, coming up, we'll have more of

- 1:16:01Speaker 5: I think the women like that, but the men didn't
- 1:16:03Speaker 5: like it. I think the women liked it, but the
- 1:16:05Speaker 5: men didn't want to see their quarterback in that thing.
- 1:16:08Speaker 8: Get them back.
- 1:16:11Speaker 5: And it was in a heart shape, right, it was

- 1:16:32Speaker 5: We want to see you on and off the field.

- 1:18:24Speaker 2: have to do fifty. You're not going to mess up
