- 2:06Speaker 2: Come on dig me now one and old Steve Harvey,
- 2:09Speaker 2: Uh huh got a radio show? Yeah, man, what a
- 2:12Speaker 2: blessing it is. I can't even explain my whole life.
- 2:15Speaker 2: My whole life is a blessing. It really is, in
- 2:17Speaker 2: spite of all the things that's happened, contraa to having
- 2:20Speaker 2: the appearances of a blessing. As I look back on
- 2:23Speaker 2: my life today, it all happened for a reason. It
- 2:26Speaker 2: all came together, it tied together, and you know it's important.
- 2:31Speaker 6: Man.
- 2:31Speaker 2: I think a lot of people that asked me about
- 2:33Speaker 2: my success and how I got here and how do
- 2:36Speaker 2: I attribute in what was the steps? I want to
- 2:39Speaker 2: tell you what it is now listen to me before
- 2:41Speaker 2: I get started. Please understand that everything that I tell
- 2:43Speaker 2: you is faith based. Everything that I tell you is
- 2:46Speaker 2: faith based. You can double check it. You can go
- 2:48Speaker 2: behind me. Whatever your faith is, if you go back
- 2:51Speaker 2: into the writings and your faith, it's in there. It's
- 2:54Speaker 2: in there. Now. I'm not telling you anything new. I'm
- 2:56Speaker 2: not giving you a new angle. I may give you
- 2:58Speaker 2: a different way of his safe you know, maybe hearing
- 3:01Speaker 2: it back to yourself. But in essence, man, I really
- 3:04Speaker 2: do know that I'm not going to say anything that
- 3:06Speaker 2: you may not have heard, but I phrased it in
- 3:08Speaker 2: a different kind of way. And so this series this week,
- 3:12Speaker 2: I want to talk to you about how to make
- 3:14Speaker 2: it kind of a motivational series. And the first part,
- 3:17Speaker 2: the most important component of it in accomplishing what you
- 3:21Speaker 2: want in your life is you have to identify the dream.
- 3:26Speaker 2: This is the critical step. A lot of people spend
- 3:29Speaker 2: their life squandering and wandering around because they never identify
- 3:34Speaker 2: the dream. You have to identify the dream. You have
- 3:37Speaker 2: to identify what it is that you want, what it
- 3:41Speaker 2: is that you hope for. You have to have a
- 3:44Speaker 2: goal in mind. You have to have a destination, you know,
- 3:47Speaker 2: and when you go outside and put the key in
- 3:49Speaker 2: your car. You never go and put your key in
- 3:51Speaker 2: the car and just get in in and just drive,
- 3:54Speaker 2: you know, unless you're trying to clear your head or something.
- 3:56Speaker 2: But if you talk about going somewhere, you got to
- 3:59Speaker 2: have a destination. You gotta have somewhere you want to go,
- 4:02Speaker 2: or else you're just running around you burning gas. Where
- 4:05Speaker 2: you're going now? I don't know? Left here? Right here?
- 4:07Speaker 5: Go here?
- 4:08Speaker 2: Go there? You know, you must identify the dream. The
- 4:12Speaker 2: dream is the single most important part of the component
- 4:15Speaker 2: to making the success out yourself. God can't bless what
- 4:18Speaker 2: you don't have. You can't get what you never give.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Identify the dream. What is it that burns inside you
- 4:24Speaker 2: so it keeps you awake at night? What is it, man,
- 4:27Speaker 2: that makes you smile when you think about it? What
- 4:30Speaker 2: is it, man that you can't seem to quite shape? Okay,
- 4:34Speaker 2: so you go to college, right, you make a decision,
- 4:36Speaker 2: which I disagree with you asking eighteen to a twenty
- 4:39Speaker 2: one year old to make a decision or what he
- 4:41Speaker 2: wants to do and what he wants to be with
- 4:42Speaker 2: the rest of his life. That's tough because guess what
- 4:45Speaker 2: this young person doesn't really know himself or herself yet,
- 4:48Speaker 2: so you're asking them to identify what it is at
- 4:51Speaker 2: an early age. What consequentially happens is that people get
- 4:56Speaker 2: older and they wind up doing something else, and you
- 4:58Speaker 2: get a degree and you find out what you're passion
- 5:00Speaker 2: is with something else. See, identifying that dream as early
- 5:03Speaker 2: as you can is important. Now, whether you're younger, whether
- 5:07Speaker 2: you're or whatever, your whatever, your identity of the dream is.
- 5:10Speaker 2: That's first. Now. What you have to do then is
- 5:14Speaker 2: if I were you. Here is the part that people
- 5:18Speaker 2: never seem to weld together with that dream that I
- 5:21Speaker 2: want to be an astronaut, I want to be a doctor,
- 5:23Speaker 2: I want to be a club on, I want to
- 5:24Speaker 2: be a a DJ, I want to be a ball player,
- 5:28Speaker 2: I want to be a writer, I want to be
- 5:30Speaker 2: a whatever it is, it doesn't matter. Somebody is that already,
- 5:34Speaker 2: and somebody had it as a dream, So it's no
- 5:36Speaker 2: dream too big. Okay, Once you identify the dream, here's
- 5:40Speaker 2: the thing. The best way for that to happen is
- 5:43Speaker 2: that dream should be tied directly to your god given
- 5:47Speaker 2: gift or talent. See that's the part that people miss,
- 5:51Speaker 2: you see halle Berry on TV and you want you
- 5:54Speaker 2: want to have on one of the dresses on the
- 5:55Speaker 2: red carpet, and you want to stand there and get
- 5:57Speaker 2: the award, and you want to have the same people.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Do do your head to do Halle and who do Beyonce?
- 6:02Speaker 2: He all that's good, All that's good, man, But do
- 6:04Speaker 2: you have the talent or the gift to accomplish that? See,
- 6:09Speaker 2: don't get outside your scope. I wanted to play in
- 6:12Speaker 2: the NBA when I was eight years old, but something
- 6:15Speaker 2: happened along the way. I didn't have skill set. I
- 6:17Speaker 2: discovered that when I ran as fast as I could,
- 6:20Speaker 2: the basketball was never with me.
- 6:22Speaker 4: Man.
- 6:23Speaker 2: That's an important part of all.
- 6:24Speaker 7: You know.
- 6:25Speaker 2: I could jump, but I normally didn't have a basketball.
- 6:29Speaker 2: So now see that that passion and that dream of
- 6:32Speaker 2: being in the NBA was not tied to my gift.
- 6:35Speaker 2: My gift was when I was sitting there watching them
- 6:39Speaker 2: play basketball. I was the little dude leaning against the
- 6:42Speaker 2: fence that had a comment about everything everybody did.
- 6:48Speaker 5: That was it.
- 6:49Speaker 2: I was the commentator, the color commentator, and lord I
- 6:53Speaker 2: was funny. It was one of the few times I
- 6:56Speaker 2: didn't stutter when I was leaning against the fish talking trash.
- 6:59Speaker 2: But took me to school, you took me to church,
- 7:02Speaker 2: you took me in front of somebody, you sent me
- 7:03Speaker 2: to the store.
- 7:04Speaker 7: Man.
- 7:04Speaker 2: That stuttering just came over the top of me. I
- 7:06Speaker 2: couldn't do it. Remember the first time I told somebody
- 7:09Speaker 2: my dream is to be on TV man, they laughed
- 7:11Speaker 2: at me so hard that they laughed me out the
- 7:14Speaker 2: gym because I had a stuttering problem. So that caused
- 7:17Speaker 2: me never to tell it again. The best way to
- 7:19Speaker 2: accomplish your dream is you got to tie it to
- 7:22Speaker 2: your gift, to the talent that God has given you.
- 7:24Speaker 2: You can't overlook that. See God never created a person
- 7:27Speaker 2: without giving them a talent or a gift. You have
- 7:29Speaker 2: something that you do, and the way to identify that
- 7:32Speaker 2: is very simple. It is the thing that you do
- 7:34Speaker 2: the absolute best with the least amount of effort. What
- 7:37Speaker 2: is that that you do that's better than you do
- 7:39Speaker 2: anything else with the least amount of effort. You do this,
- 7:42Speaker 2: it's almost You can draw without you can write, you
- 7:45Speaker 2: can sing. You know how to pull stuff apart and
- 7:48Speaker 2: put it back together. You know how to connect the
- 7:51Speaker 2: dots and cross t's, and you know how to organize
- 7:56Speaker 2: things and put people together. You know how to network.
- 7:58Speaker 2: You know how to shoot videos better than anybody. You
- 8:01Speaker 2: know how to calm people down when they when it's
- 8:03Speaker 2: a conflict, that your school is something. They come to you,
- 8:06Speaker 2: all your friends come to you. They problem. There's a
- 8:08Speaker 2: gift and the talent. You have to identify what that is. Now,
- 8:11Speaker 2: if you take that gift and talent that you are
- 8:13Speaker 2: born with and you marry it into your dream, you
- 8:18Speaker 2: put those two in the dream. That's the number one thing.
- 8:21Speaker 2: And here's a deal. You can never give up on
- 8:24Speaker 2: the dream. I don't care how old you are. There's
- 8:32Speaker 2: a scripture that says a man without a dream or
- 8:34Speaker 2: a vision shall perish. Think about this. If you've given
- 8:38Speaker 2: up on your dream, don't it feel like you're going nowhere?
- 8:42Speaker 2: You have a wake up in the morning and just go, man,
- 8:44Speaker 2: this can't be all to it. It's got to be
- 8:46Speaker 2: more to it than this. That's that's that seed, that dream,
- 8:50Speaker 2: that talent, that gift that's in you that needs watering
- 8:53Speaker 2: and nurturing and fertilize it to come out and grow.
- 8:57Speaker 2: But you got to identify.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Man.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Come on, and you can't give up on your dream
- 9:01Speaker 2: because now you got just the job. That's helping you
- 9:03Speaker 2: pay these bills. And now you locked into the system
- 9:06Speaker 2: where paying the bills is so critical and living expenses
- 9:09Speaker 2: on top of you that you got to keep going
- 9:10Speaker 2: to this job. So now you give up on your dreams.
- 9:13Speaker 2: That ain't how this thing work.
- 9:14Speaker 5: Man.
- 9:15Speaker 2: You can't ever give up on the dream. It's gonna
- 9:19Speaker 2: be a sacrifice to do that. To follow your dream,
- 9:21Speaker 2: You're gonna have to let something go. That's the scary part.
- 9:25Speaker 2: That's the part where people don't want to let go
- 9:27Speaker 2: of the peanut to get the fruit. So you hang
- 9:29Speaker 2: on to your peanut. Now, the fruit out there, it's melons, grapes, bananas, pineapples,
- 9:34Speaker 2: it's out fruit is out there, But you're so busy
- 9:37Speaker 2: hanging on to this peanut, that job that has got
- 9:40Speaker 2: you locked in, and you can't go out there and
- 9:42Speaker 2: enjoy the fruits of your life. You have to make
- 9:44Speaker 2: a decision. A decision is based on your dream and
- 9:47Speaker 2: your gift. If you tie those two together, why not
- 9:49Speaker 2: take a shot at it. I mean, what you're waiting on.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Everything I tell you is faith based, so remember that too.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Now you got to take your faith along. But it
- 9:56Speaker 2: starts with the dream.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Here, listen, means to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, again, God Almighty has done it again
- 10:12Speaker 2: another day. Only he could do that. You realize that
- 10:16Speaker 2: only he can create another day. He raises that sun
- 10:20Speaker 2: up in the morning, that's him, creates cloud cover, breezes
- 10:25Speaker 2: all that. That's him. Man, He did it again. And
- 10:30Speaker 2: what's really crazy he let you stay here for it. Bingo, jackpot, powerball.

- 11:03Speaker 2: doing what he do. Yeah, it's an interesting thing, man, life,
- 11:07Speaker 2: It really is interesting. He be just going along and
- 11:10Speaker 2: then he just stepped out around the corner whe a
- 11:14Speaker 2: with a billy club. And then you got to cope
- 11:21Speaker 2: with it coping skills. Yeah, but you see the billy club.
- 11:26Speaker 2: But he let you walk by, did bust you in
- 11:28Speaker 2: the back of the head. What he was going? What
- 11:30Speaker 2: was happening?
- 11:32Speaker 1: I need to get your attention, son, I.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Got a question.
- 11:38Speaker 8: So you mentioned powerball and lottery, so you know nobody
- 11:42Speaker 8: won Wednesday, So the next drawing is Saturday, four hundred
- 11:46Speaker 8: and eighty two million. God, okay, we know Tommy would disappear.
- 11:54Speaker 8: Gonna ask in front of y'all cash value cash vague?

- 12:06Speaker 9: Like what what?
- 12:07Speaker 2: What's what's the question?
- 12:08Speaker 1: What's the plan?
- 12:09Speaker 2: What would you do?
- 12:10Speaker 5: What is first?
- 12:12Speaker 2: First of all? Is first? First of all, we're talking, uh,
- 12:18Speaker 2: we're talking the GG theory.
- 12:20Speaker 3: What's that?

- 12:47Speaker 2: Well? Some people gonna get the information different than others,
- 12:52Speaker 2: you know.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Like what give us an example?
- 12:56Speaker 4: Uh?
- 12:57Speaker 2: Some people gonna get a note thanking them for all
- 13:00Speaker 2: they've done to help me get to where I am.
- 13:02Speaker 2: And some people will get a check in the note
- 13:06Speaker 2: thanking them what all they've done, you know, and things
- 13:09Speaker 2: like that. You know, some people will get a little

- 16:29Speaker 10: And that's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying you.

- 21:16Speaker 7: Man.
- 21:16Speaker 5: Y'all crazy?
- 21:19Speaker 9: And there you have it, Sherley. I'll be back in
- 21:21Speaker 9: a the hour and I'll be more stupid than ever.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Thanks for the warning, all right, thanking if you coming
- 21:29Speaker 1: up next, It is asked the CLO our Chief Love Officer,
- 21:32Speaker 1: Steve Harvey in the building. Right after this, you're listening
- 21:36Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Hi's Cuban.
- 21:43Speaker 9: The Big Three are back this Saturday, four pm on CBS.
- 21:46Speaker 9: Physical and fiercely competitive three on three basketball basketball played
- 21:50Speaker 9: the way it's supposed to be. With only one week
- 21:53Speaker 9: to go to the playoffs, players will be fighting for
- 21:56Speaker 9: playoff slots and a share of the one million dollar final.
- 22:00Speaker 9: Watch Lan Stevenson, Dwight Howard, Glenn Rice, Junior, Montanes, Harold,
- 22:04Speaker 9: Michael Beasley, and Moore fight for the Doctor J Championship Trophy.
- 22:08Speaker 9: Big Three on CBS and VICE this Saturday, four pm Eastern,
- 22:12Speaker 9: one BM Pacific, coming.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Up at the top of the hour. In entertainment news,
- 22:16Speaker 1: a thirty year old influencer fractured her spine doing the
- 22:20Speaker 1: Nicki Minaj High Heeled Challenge. E t Yeah, Yeah, that
- 22:25Speaker 1: was pretty serious right there. B Et has suspended as
- 22:28Speaker 1: Sole Train Awards and Hip Hop Awards shows indefinitely, and
- 22:33Speaker 1: Tanna Taylor revealed that she needs surgery to remove a
- 22:37Speaker 1: growth on her vocal cords. That's all coming up at
- 22:40Speaker 1: the top of the hour, But right now it is
- 22:43Speaker 1: time to ask the CLO our Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey.
- 22:47Speaker 1: This is from Brenda and Gainesville Colo. Brenda writes, I'm
- 22:51Speaker 1: fifty one and dating, but I don't like what I'm
- 22:54Speaker 1: seeing with the man. With the men that are available.
- 22:57Speaker 1: The men my age prefer to text instead of calling,
- 23:00Speaker 1: and they'd rather come to my house instead of going out.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Am I supposed to lower my standards to get a man.
- 23:07Speaker 2: No, that's not lowering your standards. You just have to
- 23:09Speaker 2: set them. I don't do a lot of texting, and
- 23:13Speaker 2: I prefer to be courted. I want to go out
- 23:18Speaker 2: on dates. That's what I'd like to do. Now you
- 23:21Speaker 2: don't have to, sir, but that's what I like to do.
- 23:26Speaker 2: And so when they continue to text it texting requires
- 23:29Speaker 2: a response, and somebody coming over your house require you
- 23:34Speaker 2: to open the door. Let's see. So well, once you
- 23:40Speaker 2: stop doing those two things, then that part ends. And
- 23:44Speaker 2: I understand what you're saying. Ladies out there, men have changed.
- 23:48Speaker 2: I will give you that they have changed, but you
- 23:52Speaker 2: don't have to because there are good men out there,
- 23:56Speaker 2: and good men can be trained because all you have
- 23:59Speaker 2: to do is not accept bad behavior, and they have
- 24:02Speaker 2: to change it if they want to see you. But
- 24:05Speaker 2: if you accept bad behavior, that's what you're gonna get.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Okay, all right, all right. Moving on to Raymond in
- 24:12Speaker 1: Virginia Beach, Raymond writes, I don't hang out much anymore
- 24:15Speaker 1: because my wife is insecure and thinks I'm trying to
- 24:17Speaker 1: meet women when I go out. I'm going to a
- 24:20Speaker 1: cookout this weekend and it's just the guys. Is it
- 24:24Speaker 1: best to risk telling my wife where I'm going? Or
- 24:27Speaker 1: should I lie to her?
- 24:29Speaker 11: Oh?
- 24:29Speaker 2: Oh oh, come on smelling like barbecue? Yeah, or hopefully
- 24:37Speaker 2: you come back smelling like barbecue. Listen, listen, she's insecure.
- 24:46Speaker 2: This one right here. You can tell the truth if
- 24:50Speaker 2: it is well, listen to me. If it is all
- 24:54Speaker 2: the fellas and y'all having an all male cookout, just
- 24:58Speaker 2: say that. Just say that. Yeah. Period. Now, if it's
- 25:05Speaker 2: not an all male cookout, you have got to lie.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Those are options.
- 25:14Speaker 2: This is an easy one.
- 25:17Speaker 1: What's the lie? What's the lie?
- 25:19Speaker 2: Baby? It's all male cookout? And then one of them
- 25:23Speaker 2: food's gonna post something on Facebook and one of them
- 25:25Speaker 2: gonna tag a friend that know you, and next thing
- 25:28Speaker 2: you know, she gonna see everybody else with that mm hm.
- 25:32Speaker 2: And then you have to have the recovery lie.
- 25:36Speaker 5: What is that?
- 25:37Speaker 2: What is that?
- 25:41Speaker 1: Yeah, Ernie.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Told me it was gonna be all the fellas mm hmm.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Then three of them at girls with them. I could
- 25:52Speaker 2: have took you. I ain't going over any house.
- 25:55Speaker 4: No movie. That's it.
- 26:00Speaker 1: You threw where Ernie.
- 26:05Speaker 13: It's not your friend. All right, Okay, if you think
- 26:11Speaker 13: that'll work, right, all right, I tell you.
- 26:17Speaker 2: What, I'll tell you what. I tell you. What go
- 26:20Speaker 2: on in there with the truth. Let me know how
- 26:22Speaker 2: that goes for you. Go ahead. True don't never work?
- 26:26Speaker 11: Is so not?
- 26:27Speaker 1: That is just a lie. The truth never works. The
- 26:30Speaker 1: truth word. You haven't tried it.
- 26:32Speaker 5: How would you know.
- 26:33Speaker 2: I'm not trying the truth exactly.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Exactly, the truth exactly, So you don't know. You don't know.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Kenzy and Starkville huh. Kensy and Starkville writes, I'm having
- 26:51Speaker 1: a fling with a man that is the best lover
- 26:53Speaker 1: I've ever had. But get this, he's not attractive. He
- 26:58Speaker 1: also just lost to two on the side, so I'm
- 27:02Speaker 1: ashamed of how he looks. He's really sweet, but really unattractive?
- 27:07Speaker 1: Am I being shallow for being ashamed of him?
- 27:12Speaker 7: You know?
- 27:12Speaker 2: Listen, ugly man, I'm gonna just tell you this right now.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Have got to be great levels. They ain't got no choice.
- 27:20Speaker 2: See what you're not finna do is be ugly and
- 27:22Speaker 2: ain't in here doing nothing.
- 27:25Speaker 1: But he can fix that tooth.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Come on, and and you ain't a hard worker. Now
- 27:32Speaker 2: you got that tooth out there missing his side of
- 27:34Speaker 2: your here. Now we talk, you drive and I'm over
- 27:38Speaker 2: here on the passenger side, and it's that K nine
- 27:41Speaker 2: on the right side, the right side you're over here talking. Yeah, yeah,
- 27:47Speaker 2: oh it ain't side I got he just lost on
- 27:50Speaker 2: the side. Yeah yeah, yeah, No, when you're on the side,
- 27:53Speaker 2: it's right there that that K nine too lost And
- 28:01Speaker 2: look and look and look you're talking about He not FLOSSI.
- 28:04Speaker 2: You could have got it knocked out at a bar fight. Anything.
- 28:06Speaker 2: He could have happened you your tooth frame fell out
- 28:11Speaker 2: because you wasn't FLOSSI. That ain't if you weigh you
- 28:15Speaker 2: way up the road if that happened. So you know,
- 28:19Speaker 2: and then he's unattracted, but he in there bringing it.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Two things you could do. What Number one you could
- 28:30Speaker 2: fix the tooth at that and go and enjoy yourself. Now,
- 28:37Speaker 2: there's some things you could do the ugly men. There
- 28:40Speaker 2: are some things you could do. What what do you mean, uh, grooming,
- 28:47Speaker 2: really really tight grooming and tighten up his appearance.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you know, start with the tooth.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I've been unattracted, but I dressed so nice. I
- 28:59Speaker 2: cover it.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Yeah, and you're rich, I mean.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Yeah, special, you just rig the ugly dude.

- 29:34Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Yeah, if that's the case, if you had an option,

- 30:25Speaker 1: we have some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 30:32Speaker 1: You're listening Hardy Morning Show. Well, guys, the Nicki Minaj
- 30:40Speaker 1: high school stiletto challenge that's been taking over social media
- 30:44Speaker 1: and TikTok and Instagram everywhere. Some of the ladies are
- 30:47Speaker 1: risking at all and balancing on dumbbells, bottles, cans of food,
- 30:51Speaker 1: and other unstable items to nail their poses. Well, doctors
- 30:56Speaker 1: started joining into the comments to warn participants about how
- 30:59Speaker 1: risky and how dangerous these stunts are, but the trends
- 31:04Speaker 1: just keep on going. A thirty two year old Russian
- 31:07Speaker 1: influencer is now wishing that she had not attempted this
- 31:10Speaker 1: challenge after she fell to the floor and fractured her spine. Okay,
- 31:17Speaker 1: she yeah, this is craziness right here. She had stacked
- 31:19Speaker 1: a bottle of baby formula on top of a metal
- 31:22Speaker 1: pan and tried to balance on the baby formula in
- 31:26Speaker 1: high heels. The pan then shifted and she fell really,
- 31:31Speaker 1: really hard. To the kitchen floor, fracturing her T nine vertebrae.
- 31:35Speaker 1: She will be wearing a back brace for a while
- 31:38Speaker 1: and is currently under strict medical supervision while she healed this.
- 31:43Speaker 8: Wo that's crazy. So you could get on Instagram, Yeah
- 31:49Speaker 8: to jock, Yeah all that. Yeah, you and your kitchen
- 31:53Speaker 8: just standing on disc It's a trend. It's a fun
- 31:55Speaker 8: treand and she thought she could do it, but she underestimate.
- 32:02Speaker 2: All I'm waiting on the risk is to see is
- 32:06Speaker 2: Spice Adams version of this.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Oh you said he's got twenty.
- 32:14Speaker 2: I'm waiting to see him he do his because that
- 32:17Speaker 2: boy right there is a fool. He is gonna be
- 32:20Speaker 2: good man.
- 32:23Speaker 1: You know I'm gonna do it.
- 32:25Speaker 9: You can do it.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Go ahead, call him, call him, go.

- 32:36Speaker 3: Don't do what I can do that.
- 32:38Speaker 2: They must want to push you to no graduation. We
- 32:45Speaker 2: gotta address you and all this. Somebody go in there
- 32:52Speaker 2: and get mama so she gonna be late. What I'm
- 33:01Speaker 2: not feelna let you do that. No, No, you're not
- 33:03Speaker 2: doing that. You're too much to lose. You a mother,
- 33:07Speaker 2: you a wife.
- 33:09Speaker 1: The bell started it on the dumb bell. She started
- 33:13Speaker 1: bringing it back, Sierra. She's a wife and a mother.
- 33:17Speaker 2: She didn't know some things on high heels that y'all ate.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Let's let's cut this hand, all right? Moving on, b
- 33:28Speaker 2: E T has I'm calling TSH. I'm telling you I've BETSH.
- 33:34Speaker 1: You want to snitch, don't do it? All right, guys,
- 33:40Speaker 1: Moving on, b E T has made a major announcement
- 33:43Speaker 1: that will move forward with only one awards show every
- 33:46Speaker 1: year now, the b E T Awards.
- 33:48Speaker 5: That is it. That is it.
- 33:50Speaker 1: According to the Black Information Network executs that BT have
- 33:53Speaker 1: suspended the B E T Hip Hop Awards and Soul
- 33:56Speaker 1: Train Awards indefinitely. The Hip Hop Awards started back in
- 33:59Speaker 1: two thousand and six and it celebrated the culture by
- 34:02Speaker 1: highlighting rap and hip hop artists. And it's the end
- 34:05Speaker 1: of an era for the Soul Train Awards that started
- 34:08Speaker 1: back in nineteen eighty seven to highlight R and B
- 34:12Speaker 1: legends as well as showcase new artists. So there you go,

- 56:41Speaker 2: Right now. So book it up A hold on time.
- 56:43Speaker 2: We got it for you. Here it is Strawberry LETTA.
- 56:47Speaker 1: Thank you nephew. Subject. I've never been under this much pressure.
- 56:52Speaker 1: Just Stephen Shirley. I had a living girlfriend for three
- 56:55Speaker 1: years and I came home one day and she had
- 56:57Speaker 1: moved out. She told me that she needed and she
- 57:00Speaker 1: felt like she was wasting her time with me. I
- 57:03Speaker 1: went and talked to her parents and they said that
- 57:05Speaker 1: I need to marry her or let her go. I've
- 57:08Speaker 1: never in my life been under pressure like this. She's
- 57:12Speaker 1: almost thirty and she still tells her parents everything. I
- 57:16Speaker 1: started telling my sister and her husband what was going
- 57:18Speaker 1: on with my girlfriend. My sister said I need to
- 57:22Speaker 1: let my girlfriend go because she is childish and should
- 57:25Speaker 1: have talked to me before she left. But her husband
- 57:28Speaker 1: said that my girlfriend loves me and she's trying to
- 57:31Speaker 1: get my attention. She was staying at her friend's house
- 57:34Speaker 1: and said she needed to clear her head. Two weeks ago,
- 57:39Speaker 1: she had a vase full of roses in her car
- 57:41Speaker 1: when we went to talk. When we met to talk,
- 57:43Speaker 1: she said she bought the flowers for herself. She also
- 57:46Speaker 1: has dyed her hair and started back wearing her extension
- 57:50Speaker 1: her hair extensions. She stopped doing her hair for me
- 57:53Speaker 1: over a year ago. Last week, she came by my
- 57:56Speaker 1: house to get her TV from the living room. She
- 57:58Speaker 1: was driving a Burgundy as with a Sigma tag on
- 58:01Speaker 1: the front. I saw her in the camera and I
- 58:04Speaker 1: called her to ask whose car she was driving. She
- 58:07Speaker 1: told me it's her friend's car who's helping her to
- 58:09Speaker 1: get settled at her new place. I didn't even know
- 58:11Speaker 1: she'd moved into her own place. In my mind, we
- 58:15Speaker 1: were still a couple and working on our relationship. My
- 58:19Speaker 1: sister said, my girlfriend is playing me for a fool,
- 58:21Speaker 1: and I need to turn the tables and start acting
- 58:24Speaker 1: like I don't care. I'm scared to do that. My
- 58:28Speaker 1: sister's husband said, I'm the one playing games and I
- 58:31Speaker 1: lost my girl because I won't commit. Is she waiting
- 58:35Speaker 1: for me to marry her or has she left me?
- 58:38Speaker 8: What do I do well?
- 58:42Speaker 1: She's living her best life right now, that's for sure,
- 58:46Speaker 1: and after three years of nothing, what do you expect.
- 58:49Speaker 1: I mean, if she'll listen, you can try to catch
- 58:52Speaker 1: up with her and try to talk to her. You
- 58:54Speaker 1: certainly have nothing to lose now. But please understand, no
- 58:59Speaker 1: woman wants to No woman, I should say, wants to
- 59:01Speaker 1: be in a going absolutely nowhere relationship. That was your
- 59:05Speaker 1: mistake doing nothing to move the relationship forward. I mean,
- 59:09Speaker 1: like she said, she needed to clear her head. She's
- 59:12Speaker 1: got to start thinking of herself now. She's got her
- 59:14Speaker 1: biological clock to consider. She's probably wanting a family and
- 59:18Speaker 1: children by now. And she's given you three years and
- 59:22Speaker 1: no ring, no nothing. Your brother in law, I think Nail,
- 59:26Speaker 1: did she left because you won't commit. Excuse me. It's
- 59:31Speaker 1: too bad you didn't appreciate her in the three years
- 59:34Speaker 1: that you had her. You had her right there, because
- 59:36Speaker 1: sooner or later, women do realize that they're giving way
- 59:39Speaker 1: more than they're getting and they stop allowing men to
- 59:42Speaker 1: use them and take them for granted. I mean, they
- 59:45Speaker 1: rediscover who they were before you and focus in on
- 59:48Speaker 1: what they really want. You had a great run with
- 59:51Speaker 1: her for those three years. Now she's had it with you,
- 59:54Speaker 1: and your time is up. What do you do, you
- 59:57Speaker 1: ask if this is not about ego for you, and
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: this is truly the woman you want to be with
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: and you want to spend the rest of your rest
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: of your life with. Now, I suggest you go to her,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: try to get her back. Like I said earlier, ask
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: her out for dinner or something so you guys can talk.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: If she says no, this ship has sailed. If she
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: says yes, then maybe you have a chance. But if
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: you're not serious about committing this time, let her go
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: and don't waste another second of her time.
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: Steve, this letter is so, so, so simple to me.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: You're torn between trying to figure out the advice you're
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: receiving from your sister and her husband. That's the advice
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: you're torn bed behind. But see, you can stop all that.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: I'm so shocked with me me, and always be surprised.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: I've never been under this much pressure. Bruh. What it
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: ain't even about you being underpressure. There's nothing in this
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: letter that has you underpressure. You've never been this confused,
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: But you ain't under no pressure. You got living in
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: girlfriend for three years, you came home one day, she
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: moved out. Just one day she moved out. You came
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: home and all of a sudden, she gone, well, you
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: ain't see none of this coming, no, no, you everything
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: was peachy keen. And you came home and one day
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: she had moved out. I doubt that, brother. She told
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: me she needed space and she felt like she was
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: wasting her time with me. Well, she need her space.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: That means y'all not growing and you waste She will
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: feel like she wasting her time with me, which means
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: you're not only growing, you ain't going nowhere. So now
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: this is all for nothing, according to her. Then you
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: went and talked to her parents, and they said you
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: need to marry her or let her go. Dog, you've
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: been living with this woman in three years. Sin, that's
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: what the ladies and ladies and young people just whoever,
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: if you've lived with a person three years, what is
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: the decision you're trying to make?
- 1:02:08Speaker 7: Now?
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: You done live with somebody three years? Ladies, let me
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: tell you something right now about men. If we move
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: you in, we already know if we want to marry
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: you or not. If we move you in, we already
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: know if we want to marry you or not. Now,
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: if he ain't asked you to marry him when he
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: asks you to move in, then he just wants you
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: to move in. Sometimes you want the cow without buying
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: the milk, or you want the milk without buying the cow.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: However you want to look at it. It happens all
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: the time. I don't know why y'all seem to think
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: that moving in with somebody is a prelude to marriage.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: How does that work out for y'all? Because now you're
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: sitting there because you're doing all your wifely duties and
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: he getting all the benefits of a wife. But he
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: ain't got to pay the cost. He ain't got to
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: buy you no ring. He gotta make no commitment.
- 1:03:03Speaker 7: Man.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: We'll have part two of your response coming up to
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: today's Strawberry letter. The subject is I've never been under
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: this much pressure. Right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Morning Show.
- 1:03:22Speaker 9: Get ready to laugh all the way to the bank
- 1:03:25Speaker 9: with the pickup the hottest action movie of the summer,

- 1:03:37Speaker 9: by none other than your girl he keep Ama from
- 1:03:40Speaker 9: Tim Story, director of Barbershop. The Pickup features an all
- 1:03:43Speaker 9: star cast including Eva Longoria, Marshawn Lynch, and Andrew Dice.
- 1:03:48Speaker 9: Play Watch The Pickup now streaming only on Prime Video.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: I've never been under this much pressure. Boy.
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: You ain't even under press. You're just confused right now.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: You're playing dumb. But I can't let you slide. You've
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: been a living girlfriend for three years. You came home
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: one day, she moved out, just like that, and then
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: she told you she needed some space and felt like
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: she was wasting her time with me. Now you ain't
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: talk to her. You went over her parents' house. They
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: said you need to marry her or let her go,
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: because they sit over there looking at Joe. What y'all
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: playing house for? It's been three years? What are you
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: waiting on? She's almost thirty and she still tells her
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: parents everything. Didn't you go over there to hear what
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: the parents had to say? She telling her parents everything
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: because you ain't talking to her. Had you been talking
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: to her, you would have known any day now she
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: about to move out. See, but you're too busy playing.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: I'm dumb and I'm under pressure. Now I guess you
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: think it's pressure because, as the parents say, you need
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: to marry her or let her go, because if you're
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: in love with the woman, what you're waiting on? What
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: you're trying to get together? Because, like I said, ladies,
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: stopped thinking that moving in with a man is a
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: prelude to marriage, because it's not. It doesn't promise you
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: anything because he's getting what he well, he gets the
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: chick of his dreams, and but you don't get the
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: day of your dreams. Your day of your dreams is
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: a wedding. His dream is a chick. He get the
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: chick without the wedding. Bingo. How many times have men
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: came in here and got the milk without buying the cow,
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: But you're passing our milk every day. She done got
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: tired of you went over that. Then after you talk
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: to your parents, you went and told your sister. Now
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: your sister says you need to let the girlfriend go
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: because she's childish and she should have talked to you
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: before she left. Your sister is one hundred percent correct.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: She is one hundred percent correct. But then guess what,
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: But her husband said that my girlfriend loves me and
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: she's trying to get my attention. She was staying at
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: her friend's house and said she needed to clear her head.
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: Two weeks ago, she had a vase full of roses
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: in her car when we met to talk. She said
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: she bought the flowers for herself, really in a vase,
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: in a vase, then in the back seat. You know
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: why they was in the back seat because they was
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: on her desk at work. You know what, she taking
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: them flowers to home. Women don't do flowers like that.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: They do it different. They come to their house. They don't.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: They don't go up to the store and buy roses
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: and vases. They get it delivered to the house. They
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: got over each now and then here we go. She's
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: also dyed her hair and started back to wearing hair extensions.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: She stopped doing her hair for me over a year ago. Well,
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: this ain't about you no more, Okay. Last week she
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: came by the house to get her TV from the
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: living room. She was driving the burgundy sue V with
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: a Sigma tag on the front. You didn't let a
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: Sigma take your girl, boy, I'm not fitting left. You
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: already know everybody know what I'm talking about. That's that's
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: a little D nine shade. You let a Sigma come
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: up in and take your girl.
- 1:07:16Speaker 5: Boy, What.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: That's all I got to get. Shout out the blue fire,
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: Shout out the blue fire. I've been with this fresh
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: since seventy six. I ain't never heard nobody say you
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: better watch some sigmas. Man who that get your girl
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: never had a diamond on the front of his car.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: We'd all understood that he just shimmy this way on
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: up into your little girl's life, had little can toil
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: and and everything, and got your attendance. She gone anyway,

- 1:11:13Speaker 9: thrown onto the court during the game.
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: Y'all know that now.
- 1:11:16Speaker 9: The first time, yep, yep, check it out now. The
- 1:11:18Speaker 9: first time they threw a deal on the court was
- 1:11:20Speaker 9: a July twenty ninth during the Vakties and the Dream.
- 1:11:23Speaker 9: They had a game in College Park, Georgia, second time
- 1:11:26Speaker 9: with last Friday doing Golden State versus Chicago game, and
- 1:11:30Speaker 9: it happened a third time on Tuesday as a Sparks
- 1:11:33Speaker 9: played the Fever in Los Angeles, now doing the second

- 1:11:40Speaker 9: flew out onto the court and hit Indiana Sophie cutting hands.
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: Yes it did. She was kicked off the court on
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: the game.
- 1:11:46Speaker 9: They started the game back up and there was an
- 1:11:49Speaker 9: arrest made recently and the sex toy thrower got it,
- 1:11:53Speaker 9: got arrested, and they cracking down on what's being brought
- 1:11:56Speaker 9: into the games.
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: Yeah, she kicked it on the court, and I don't
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: know if it was owned. That's what I really didn't
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: want to know if it was on or not on.
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: You know what one they got. But it's green, and
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: it's shaky, and it's and it's and you got hit with.
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: You guys.
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: It kind of looked like a fishy lure.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: Here's the thing, though, it was, where is there?
- 1:12:24Speaker 8: I thought you had metal detectives when you go into
- 1:12:26Speaker 8: these games and you know they.
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: Ain't metal, that ain't hell about well by you know,
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: good and well all them things ain't metal. But I'm saying,
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: like a lot of the videos, you need a hard
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: plastic detector if you're gonna start doing this. Help Wow,
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: metal metal, get all them met look metal, get all
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: them right up out of there. I come on, come on,
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: let's go dump them ladies, dump them, dump them. If
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: the toy can get in, if your phone can get
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: into toy.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: What your tickets is on the phone.
- 1:13:01Speaker 8: So they usually have clear bag policies at these venues
- 1:13:06Speaker 8: where you go in, Like if you're a woman and
- 1:13:08Speaker 8: you have a purse, your bag has to be a
- 1:13:11Speaker 8: certain clear.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: It wants to be clear.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: They don't do that at the game. Yes, they do
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: that when you leave in your departments, though, job they ain't.
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: You can't make these women, these women got.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: That's the rule in that fail games, high school games.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: Clear bag. So I don't know, but clear what's the
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: point the point of this?
- 1:13:40Speaker 7: What do they do?
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: What is the point of why deal on the car?
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: Yes?
- 1:13:45Speaker 8: Yes, a terrible vicious prank, I guess yeah, no prank?
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: Well what is it?
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: Silly?
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: I bet you written the ground we want them, I bet.
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, a matron
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: of honor was invited to her sister's wedding and she
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: needs some advice. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. See this is from Daisy and
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: John's Creek. Daisy says, I have my third child in January,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: and I haven't lost the weight that I wanted to lose.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Before my sister's wedding, she asked me to be her
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: matron of honor, and as the wedding gets closer, I
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: have my dress alter to hide the parts of my
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: body that I'm not comfortable with. I didn't see it
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: as a big deal, but when I showed it to
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: my sister, she flipped out because my dress is slightly
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: different than the other bridesmaid's dresses. She said, she doesn't
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: want me to mess with her wedding, so I shouldn't come.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: I love her and I want to see her get married.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: Should I go as a regular guest or skip it
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: like she requested?
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: Wow, now you go ahead. But if she was a bridemaid,
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: wasn't she going to be in the way.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: Yeah, well she was a matron of honor. Yeah she's gonna.
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: Oh oh oh oh. The matron honor is like the
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: best man.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, Yeah, the matron I'm honored, Yeah, is man.
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: She don't want to in there cause.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: She's fat, well because she altered to the dreams be dressed. Yeah,
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: because she wanted to hide some of the.
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: No no no no no no no no no no
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: no no no. Baby wait, okay, baby wait, I look,
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: she just had the baby in January. Yeah, it take time. Months.
- 1:15:28Speaker 8: Can't take that off of you in six months. Yeah,
- 1:15:31Speaker 8: it took me seventeen years. Yeah, it takes time.
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: You gotta be paid because I'm telling you right now
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: because after winter, I didn't get this stomach off meat
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: to him.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: See how old is he?
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: He twenty eight?
- 1:15:51Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: So is her sister? The bride kind of being means
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: her rides up.
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, she don't want to fastist than
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: with That's what it ain't cause she that altered the dress.
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: She sat. Well, y'all, what what what you think this about?
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: Yeah, just about the way is different than the other.
- 1:16:12Speaker 8: I was just getting ready to say that the maid
- 1:16:14Speaker 8: of honor and the matron of honor dresses can be
- 1:16:17Speaker 8: different from the bridle parts.
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: Yeah, but it depends on the change she made to
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: the dress. If you didn't have to take let me
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: tell you what's wrong here. Yeah, but if you didn't
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: have to take the dress apart from the breast down,
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: and you didn't have to use the bed sheet now
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: we got a different look.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: Now I had my dress altered to hide the parts
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: of my body that I'm not comfortable with. Altered with
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: what other material?
- 1:16:49Speaker 4: Yes?
- 1:16:49Speaker 5: That not?
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: What like tent fabric?
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: What did you using all this?
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: My dress is slightly different than the other brides maid's dresses. Slightly,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: that's what she said.
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: Man, who altered this dress?
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: I see them dress.
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: Some lady down at the church. That's so, you know.
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: And now the bride and looked at this little raggedy dress.
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: Now you're up in here looking you're in here looking amish.
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: Now you we're not to have this. I'm just telling
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: you right now. You're not coming to my wedding looking
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: like you're finna make some butter. That's not what you're
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: gonna do. Sitting up in here looking like you ought
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: to be on the cracker barrel sign. We're not having
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: this in the wedding. Is her big sister? It is, yeah,
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: key worried big sister right there, older older, but the
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: older sister is big sister. That's what it's all about.
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: Now we can't write no Joe right here. That's like,
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: oh that's what it is. Oh, now we can't write
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: no joke for we had no baby. This ain't about pregnancy.
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: This is about this. She don't want the girl in
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: the wedging with the altared gown that now looks like she'
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: Amish and we' in here fitting to make a new bond.
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: You're not hill like you tend to make some new
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: wheels to go on this carriage.
- 1:18:23Speaker 4: I hate you.
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: You now even got a why don't we just put
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: a bonnet on her and all the rest of the
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: brides maid and just call it an homige wedding, And
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: don't feel me cause they don't like cameras.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: Nowhere dupid and I hate you right now. I hate
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: both of them.
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: And you're not coming in here on no white carriage
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: and white horse. You're gonna get the black horse and
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: the black mother like the rest of the Amish people
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: got with that triangle on the back.

- 1:24:13Speaker 1: We're moving on before we start a family feud?
- 1:24:16Speaker 5: All right?
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: Would you rather buy all the groceries for the family
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: or cook all the meals by or neither the opposite
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: of both.
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: I'm not hooking for my family.
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: Hell no, all right, that's today's round. Would you rather
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: think we upseessed?

- 1:25:22Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are on this Friday, our
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: last break of the day. It's been a fun day.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: Thank you guys. Appreciate you for listen this week every day. Yeah,
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: have a great weekend.
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: Let me see what I could do for closing remarks today.
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: Any subject y'all need cover? Question? Anybody else?
- 1:25:46Speaker 8: I think we kind of talked about it from soft
- 1:25:48Speaker 8: Air on the air about prioritizing any regrets about your life.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: You know, we talked about your dreams. You know that,
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: any regrets you.
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: Know, listen, you know, listen. I was having a conversation
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: last night with my sons and they pretty much asked
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: me the same thing. They said, Dad, if you could
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: do anything in your life over, what would you do? Look.
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: Of course, knowing what I know now, I would have
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: made so many different decisions. But at the time I
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: made the decision based on the information I had, and
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: the experience I had, and my maturity level. And a
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: lot of times when you make mistakes, it's because you
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: are making a decision without all the information, without thinking
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: it through, without the experience. But that's how you gain experience.
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: There's a saying that says experience is priceless. It's a
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: shame you have to pay for it with your youth. Man,
- 1:26:57Speaker 2: oh man, oh man, how true is that? But I
- 1:27:01Speaker 2: you know, as I was telling them the mistakes I made.
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: Behind every mistake I made, God still worked out his
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: plan and purpose for me, even in the decisions I make.
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: Because listen to me, y'all. We are all human beings,
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: but God has given us. We are the one creature
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: that He created that He gave the power of choice
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: to birds, lions, snakes, spiders. They don't have choices. This
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: is what they are, this is what they do. A
- 1:27:30Speaker 2: bird don't get to decide I'm gonna be a camel, No,
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: a bird is going to be a bird.
- 1:27:36Speaker 4: That's it.
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: You get to decide. I'm gonna be a doctor, I'm
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: gonna be a radio host, I'm gonna play football, I'm
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: gonna be a lawyer. You get to choose, You get
- 1:27:48Speaker 2: to choose who you marry. You get to do all
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: of this by choice. So in the power of choice,
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: I was talking to them, and they said, Dad, would
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: you have done anything differently? What do you wish you
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: had then that you had now? I said, a better
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: relationship with God. I would have ran everything by him first,
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: But because he gave me the power of choice. Do
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: you know how many times we make choices because it's
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: what we want and now it ain't got nothing to
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: do with the will of God. But God gives us
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: the power of choice, so he let us do it.
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: Do you know how many times you've thrown yourself off
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: course with your power of choice? Do you have any
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: idea how many times you have delayed your blessing simply
- 1:28:30Speaker 2: because of your power of choice? And then God has
- 1:28:35Speaker 2: to now take the time to work out his plan
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: and purpose for you anyway in spite of your decisions.
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: And now you're sitting up here wondering why the blessing
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: is delayed, and then some of us give up on
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: it because we think it's been denied. No, oftentimes it's
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: not denied. It has just been delayed. But it had
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: to be delayed because of the decision you made. God
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: can't give you everything you want if you with the
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: wrong person. He can't do that because guess what, they
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: will benefit too, and they won't appreciate what He gave you,
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: and they'll ruin it and bring it down. So before
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: God give it to you and let somebody else be
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: the cause of your demise, maybe that's why you haven't
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: gotten it. I can't tell you how many times that
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: then worked out that way for me. Whoo whoo. I
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: could not understand why God was not giving me what
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: I asked for at that particular moment. And then later
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: on I realized, Oh, I see he didn't want this person,
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: or he had to remove this person, or he had
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: to introduce me to this person. It's a process. When
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: you ask God for something, quit being selfish and thinking
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: it's just about you. You are connected to hundreds of
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: people in your life, so when God do something for
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: you or to you, it has a domino effect. You really,
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: you really think it's about you. I don't know why
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: God won't go on and bless me with that, because
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: who you win? But then guess what the who you
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: win is your decision. I don't know why I'm not
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: married yet. You don't think about the decisions you've made.
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: I can assure you if you sit back and you
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: take an inventory, you will discover. Because God has given
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: us the power of choice is the very reason that
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: we are where we are today. We are a sum
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: total of our thoughts. I who I am, You who
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: you are because of how we thought. Now, if you
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: don't like where you are, you got changed where you think.
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: But you know when that can happen immediately? Well what
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: you mean immediately? See, soon as you get through thinking
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: like that, you can start changing. But everything starts with
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: a thought. You can't get rich if you keep doing
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: post of You can't meet mister Wright, if you steady
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: involved with mister Wrong and that don't make no sense, y'all.
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: You can't climb the corporate letter. If you keep laying
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: in bed. You can't get hired if you don't go
- 1:31:18Speaker 2: out looking for work. Look, y'all, we all make decisions.
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: I wish I had done some things differently, but God
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: worked his plan for me anyway, and that's why it
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: took so long, because He had to undo some of
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: my decisions. So now what I told my sons was
- 1:31:40Speaker 2: I wish I had read everything by God in the
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: first place. I could have saved myself a lot of pains.
- 1:31:48Speaker 2: Those are my clothesing remarks today. Run it by God. First,
- 1:31:58Speaker 2: talk to God today. You'd absolutely love you from your peace.
