- 1:44Speaker 1: out to turn the water the water. Come, come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your baby it uh huh, I show well, good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You are listening to the voice, Come on dig me
- 2:08Speaker 1: now one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show,
- 2:12Speaker 1: Yeah man, got one. Hey. You know, um, I thought
- 2:17Speaker 1: I think of my life in terms of blessings. You know.
- 2:20Speaker 1: I take mostly a positive approach and a positive spin
- 2:24Speaker 1: to my life. I hardly ever dwell on you know,
- 2:28Speaker 1: the what's well. I can't say that I don't think
- 2:31Speaker 1: about the what's wrong in it because I have to,
- 2:33Speaker 1: because I have to address problems as they arise. But
- 2:36Speaker 1: I try not to let them consume me. I let
- 2:41Speaker 1: the consumption part be about the blessings, the positive things
- 2:45Speaker 1: that has occurred in my life, the good things that
- 2:48Speaker 1: God has done. For me, the power that he's displayed
- 2:52Speaker 1: in my life, the protection he's given me over the years,
- 2:56Speaker 1: to being tucked under his wings. I focus on the
- 2:59Speaker 1: things that he promises me. I think of all all
- 3:03Speaker 1: the goodness that I perceived to come my way. I
- 3:06Speaker 1: think that has a lot to do with me learning
- 3:09Speaker 1: more and more about the law of attraction in terms
- 3:12Speaker 1: of you know, what you think and what you put
- 3:15Speaker 1: out into space, and what you pray about is what
- 3:17Speaker 1: you receive. You know, and so I've become better and
- 3:21Speaker 1: better at that. It's not to say that I'm I'm
- 3:24Speaker 1: not human and I don't have moments where I think
- 3:28Speaker 1: a little bit too long about what's going wrong and
- 3:31Speaker 1: what enemy is about to attack and what they're going
- 3:33Speaker 1: to do and saying and all of this is his.
- 3:36Speaker 1: That's not to con say that I'm not concerned about it.
- 3:39Speaker 1: But I try to duel mostly on the positive. And
- 3:42Speaker 1: one of the things that I learned, you can have
- 3:45Speaker 1: an incredible life, all of you, all of us. We
- 3:49Speaker 1: can have incredible lives if we just let God drive. See.
- 3:55Speaker 1: The problem that I had years ago was I was
- 3:59Speaker 1: the driver of my life, and I was taking myself
- 4:03Speaker 1: into directions that I thought would be best for me,
- 4:07Speaker 1: and I aimed at things that I thought I could accomplish,
- 4:11Speaker 1: and I set goals that I saw myself being able
- 4:16Speaker 1: to attain. I was driving when I gave up and
- 4:20Speaker 1: I let God drive. I then opened up my mind
- 4:24Speaker 1: and my spirit to what God had for me, for
- 4:29Speaker 1: what God could see for me, for what God could
- 4:33Speaker 1: do in my life, well, for what God wanted for me.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Now he wanted for me, and he wanted of me. See,
- 4:43Speaker 1: that's the connection that you got to try to make,
- 4:45Speaker 1: not try, that's the connection that you got to make
- 4:48Speaker 1: to really get it. Now, listen to me. What I
- 4:51Speaker 1: don't want you to do is do like me. Don't
- 4:53Speaker 1: be afraid of the what for of the what he
- 4:56Speaker 1: wants you to do part see, because that ain't gonna
- 4:59Speaker 1: be near as demanding and as offsetting as you think
- 5:02Speaker 1: it's gonna be. See. I thought that if I did
- 5:05Speaker 1: God's will, that if I let God tell me what
- 5:09Speaker 1: to do, that it would cause me to not to
- 5:11Speaker 1: be able to do a certain some things I wanted
- 5:14Speaker 1: to do well, which is true. But the stuff I
- 5:16Speaker 1: wanted to do was all detrimental to my well being
- 5:20Speaker 1: and my future and my growth and development as a man.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I was stopping my own growth as a man, because see,
- 5:27Speaker 1: I was doing what I thought I should do as
- 5:29Speaker 1: a man. But when you give it over to God,
- 5:32Speaker 1: to God has a much better plan for you than
- 5:34Speaker 1: you can ever have for yourself. And God knows a
- 5:37Speaker 1: better way, far better than the one you know. I
- 5:39Speaker 1: want you to believe that. Man, you gotta understand that
- 5:42Speaker 1: part of it. And that's the part that I finally
- 5:44Speaker 1: got through my head to let God do it his
- 5:47Speaker 1: way and to show me a better way, and to
- 5:50Speaker 1: teach me a better way and expose to me a
- 5:53Speaker 1: better way. And when I opened up my mind to
- 5:56Speaker 1: what God was talking about, I began to see things
- 5:59Speaker 1: told differently, and things started coming to me totally differently.
- 6:04Speaker 1: If you've been a friend of mine or a fan
- 6:07Speaker 1: of mine over the years, I mean, you've had to
- 6:10Speaker 1: see it, the change. You've had to see the difference.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I mean, and I acknowledge that every chance I get,
- 6:17Speaker 1: because I promise God I would, and I hope that
- 6:20Speaker 1: I'm not falling short in that category. But then again,
- 6:23Speaker 1: if I told it all day long, would he done
- 6:26Speaker 1: for me? I still wouldn't have enough time to really
- 6:29Speaker 1: explain thoroughly what he's done for me, because it's such
- 6:32Speaker 1: a continuous growth in me. But now that's not to
- 6:37Speaker 1: say that I'm finished or I'm done or I'm complete,
- 6:41Speaker 1: because I'm still short. And that's the cold thing about it. Man. See,
- 6:46Speaker 1: no matter how good you get at it, you ain't
- 6:48Speaker 1: gonna ever be the best you can be. You just
- 6:50Speaker 1: not because you're gonna fall short. You can't be him.
- 6:54Speaker 1: You can strive for perfection. I hear people saying it
- 6:57Speaker 1: all the time. I applaud you for saying you want
- 6:59Speaker 1: to be perfect, but you ain't and you can't, and
- 7:02Speaker 1: you're not and you aren't and you won't and you
- 7:06Speaker 1: will not. So you quit saying it. You quit saying
- 7:09Speaker 1: it to me, quit saying it to other people. I'm
- 7:12Speaker 1: seeking a life of perfection, but it's something that you
- 7:16Speaker 1: cannot have because he said you can't do it. But
- 7:19Speaker 1: that's what he'd have for he'd have for the moments
- 7:21Speaker 1: when you stumble and you fall, and you go stumble
- 7:24Speaker 1: and fall. So you got to get that part right, man,
- 7:26Speaker 1: to stumbling falling part is coming. But see, you get
- 7:30Speaker 1: God in your life and it helps you so that
- 7:32Speaker 1: you don't stumble, fall wallow roll over, laid their languish.
- 7:37Speaker 1: That's what God is for. So when you stumbling fall,
- 7:41Speaker 1: you get back up. Because you're going to make mistakes.
- 7:45Speaker 1: You're going to get it wrong. You're going to come
- 7:47Speaker 1: under attack, You're going to be lied about, you are
- 7:51Speaker 1: going to be falsely accused. That's going to happen to
- 7:55Speaker 1: you the moment you make a decision to do better,
- 7:58Speaker 1: the moment you try to be or the moment you
- 8:01Speaker 1: try to get it right. The devil got to send
- 8:04Speaker 1: his attackers man, and he controls certain people. He just
- 8:08Speaker 1: got people as on his side twenty four seven. You
- 8:11Speaker 1: know him too. You've all met one or two of
- 8:13Speaker 1: me in your life. They're just busy with the business
- 8:16Speaker 1: of nothingness. They're just busy about to do about the
- 8:21Speaker 1: destruction of others. You said, I know him, you know him.
- 8:24Speaker 1: They coming. But here's what you got to hold fast too.
- 8:28Speaker 1: They can't take away nothing from you that God gave you.
- 8:32Speaker 1: They didn't make you. See people who claim to have
- 8:36Speaker 1: made you, if they're so in to make you business,
- 8:39Speaker 1: why don't they make theirselves? Or if they ain't with
- 8:42Speaker 1: you no more? And they're so busy in them I
- 8:45Speaker 1: made you business why don't they make somebody else? Since
- 8:49Speaker 1: since you want to get credit from making somebody make yourself.
- 8:55Speaker 1: If you're responsible for someone else's success, then you should
- 8:58Speaker 1: easily be able to take claim and be responsible for
- 9:01Speaker 1: your own success. See, be careful of that, and don't
- 9:04Speaker 1: and don't don't change your course because somebody is attacking
- 9:08Speaker 1: you with that. You keep doing what you're doing. I
- 9:11Speaker 1: just hope, man, that I'm giving it to God the
- 9:14Speaker 1: way I said I would give it to him, that
- 9:16Speaker 1: I would unload every chance I got that I was
- 9:18Speaker 1: supposed to without being you know, or here he come again.
- 9:22Speaker 1: You know. I try not to be that, but man,
- 9:24Speaker 1: I don't know what else to be for the first
- 9:26Speaker 1: twelve minutes of my show. What else you want me
- 9:28Speaker 1: to say? I got four hours. I can't give God
- 9:30Speaker 1: twelve twelve minutes, man, I mean for real, Steve, come on, man,
- 9:34Speaker 1: I mean, let's look at this right here. It's like, oh,
- 9:37Speaker 1: for example, it's like detox in your body, which is
- 9:40Speaker 1: one of the most healthy things you can do for
- 9:41Speaker 1: your body is to detox your system and clean out
- 9:44Speaker 1: the pipes and the liver and the blood and get
- 9:47Speaker 1: it all together. Give your kidneys a break. In all
- 9:49Speaker 1: like this, okay, right, okay, but to detox it properly
- 9:52Speaker 1: it takes twenty one days, right. And I hear a
- 9:55Speaker 1: lot of people telling my twenty one days I ain't got.
- 9:57Speaker 1: But see, hold up, man, if the twenty one days
- 10:01Speaker 1: out of three hundred and sixty days a year, you
- 10:04Speaker 1: ain't got twenty one to straighten yourself out, You ain't
- 10:07Speaker 1: got twenty one days to give yourself a better shot
- 10:10Speaker 1: at health. I mean, that's crazy to me once you
- 10:13Speaker 1: wrap your mind around it. See, And so like, if
- 10:16Speaker 1: you're give an honor to God just twelve minutes out
- 10:19Speaker 1: the day, dog, he gave you twenty four hours of
- 10:23Speaker 1: luxury in life and breath and hope and promise, you
- 10:26Speaker 1: ain't got twelve minutes to give him out the day.
- 10:29Speaker 1: That don't make no sense. What an exchange, What a
- 10:32Speaker 1: wonderful life God has given me in exchange for so
- 10:35Speaker 1: small of effort that I put forth. Don't let the
- 10:38Speaker 1: effort you got to put forth to God seems so
- 10:40Speaker 1: dawning that you don't attempt to do it, because man,
- 10:43Speaker 1: it seems like a lot. It ain't nothing to compare
- 10:45Speaker 1: to what he'd be given us for real. So if
- 10:47Speaker 1: you want a real life. You want a real shot
- 10:49Speaker 1: at what you can be, what you can have, what
- 10:51Speaker 1: you can own, what you can become who you really are.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Go to God, let him fix you. Man. That's all
- 10:57Speaker 1: you're listening to. Morning show Ladies and gentlemen, man, have
- 11:03Speaker 1: your attention, please. Steve Harvey Morty Show is now underway.

- 11:50Speaker 1: this church group of women who came to family feud
- 11:53Speaker 1: on Saturday and I met outside and took pictures with them.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Shout out to y'all. You know I can't remember the church.
- 12:03Speaker 1: It's knew something, pastor They told me. You don't remember
- 12:05Speaker 1: noneing knew something, Yeah, knew something. It wasn't but one
- 12:16Speaker 1: new at family feud. It probably wasn't even new. Huh,
- 12:24Speaker 1: it's probably something else, but shout out to that. Man.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I'm in a good moved day, man, I'm ready. Yeah,
- 12:30Speaker 1: I saw I watched All Star game. Yeah they clips
- 12:35Speaker 1: on them. Yeah, they never do play dfense. The play
- 12:39Speaker 1: that I saw the player plays was Steph Currey going
- 12:44Speaker 1: down the left wing and bouncing that damn ball over
- 12:47Speaker 1: the RAN's head and the big Greek Boys slam Greek freak, Tommy,
- 12:52Speaker 1: have you seen that? I saw it, Greatness. That was greatness.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Wade or lobbed to Lebron. Oh. Man, man, he's a
- 13:06Speaker 1: bad boy. He's a bad the slam dunk contest, Hey, bro, look,
- 13:11Speaker 1: if you miss, you know, don't win. Yeah, wow, I
- 13:16Speaker 1: got you got it right on the fifth track, you
- 13:20Speaker 1: get two more minutes. But if you missed the first one,
- 13:23Speaker 1: you should be ineligible getting the fifty. Yeah. Right. Every
- 13:28Speaker 1: time you miss, you lose a point. So if you
- 13:31Speaker 1: was gonna get a ten, you get an eight. You know,
- 13:33Speaker 1: if you leave something, man, you lose a half a point.
- 13:36Speaker 1: I just I don't like all the attempts. You remember
- 13:39Speaker 1: when Nate Robinson wanted he had so many attempts. He
- 13:43Speaker 1: missed it five times. I just don't like that. But
- 13:46Speaker 1: the boy that jumped over shack was cold though. Yes
- 13:49Speaker 1: he jumped, yeah, up, he jumped over a conversation. He
- 13:58Speaker 1: just fired gravity. No, she jumped over shop spread dump
- 14:07Speaker 1: and left his elbow in the rim. What and then
- 14:12Speaker 1: Superman Superman w I'm impressed. My husband was watching it.
- 14:18Speaker 1: He was like, all, think the three point contest should
- 14:24Speaker 1: headline the Saturday night instead of the dump content? No, no,
- 14:28Speaker 1: can we keep getting it? Why don't you bring it up? Well,
- 14:30Speaker 1: we'll talk about we'll talk some more about it. Uh.
- 14:34Speaker 1: And we got to talk about Anthony Hamilton and nice. Yeah,
- 14:38Speaker 1: we got to talk about that too. All right, we'll
- 14:40Speaker 1: be back at thirty two after the hour. Right after
- 14:42Speaker 1: this you're listening to. All right, we were talking about
- 14:49Speaker 1: the All Star Game, which amazingly happened over the weekend.
- 14:51Speaker 1: I understand, and you understand. You are saying you, I
- 15:00Speaker 1: just didn't watch it. I was watching cable or something. Yeah,
- 15:05Speaker 1: it was on cable. It was Oh no, stop yellous.
- 15:11Speaker 1: You know he is about smart about sports, Junior. I
- 15:15Speaker 1: didn't watch the whole game. Yes, I got that on.
- 15:18Speaker 1: But you knew it was on. I was worked because
- 15:21Speaker 1: we had to work Sunday. Oh yeah, but it was
- 15:24Speaker 1: Saturday and Sunday of day. I worked all days. I
- 15:28Speaker 1: did a family, celebrity family a few Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Oh you ain't money, okay away. Before we left Junior,
- 15:35Speaker 1: you asked, do you think because the Sam dunk contest
- 15:39Speaker 1: was so disappointed? I said, should we just left it?
- 15:42Speaker 1: We should even have it, just left it the three
- 15:44Speaker 1: point contest, Just go ahead, clothes, I said, And he said, no, absolutely,
- 15:48Speaker 1: not no, because the dunk contest is supposed to be
- 15:51Speaker 1: the thing. You know, it's supposed to not until we
- 15:56Speaker 1: need dunk. We need something. Yeah, we ain't got no dunk.
- 16:03Speaker 1: It just you don't look. Jordan against Dominique was the
- 16:08Speaker 1: precedence for dunk contest and you know, man, you gotta
- 16:13Speaker 1: have it. And you know it wasn't that this past
- 16:16Speaker 1: now the year before that boy Levine, Yeah that dumped
- 16:21Speaker 1: over the mascot in the sitting position. Yeah you know
- 16:26Speaker 1: how high that is. Yeah, but they were dunk. What
- 16:30Speaker 1: we had, what we had a bunch of just wide
- 16:34Speaker 1: open misses. Maybe we need to maybe we need a
- 16:37Speaker 1: lay up competition the skills competition was more entertaining. We
- 16:43Speaker 1: need to steal in the ball competition because point that
- 16:48Speaker 1: was better. Good girl, that was good. We Ever, Saturday
- 16:56Speaker 1: night I was with my man posted so grandkids was
- 17:01Speaker 1: over all weekend, so you know, I stayed at work
- 17:04Speaker 1: long as I could so they could be sleep when
- 17:06Speaker 1: I got working all day, I can't. I can't come off.
- 17:16Speaker 1: They love you, Steve, so I mean, man, they come
- 17:19Speaker 1: running and you know, I gotta give it to them.
- 17:22Speaker 1: But they like learning the cuss words that you show them.
- 17:24Speaker 1: No they're not. I'm not teaching them. They're picking it up. Oh,
- 17:28Speaker 1: because you're just not changing anything about your That means
- 17:31Speaker 1: you're this mile. Yeah. But you sometimes when kids are
- 17:36Speaker 1: around Steve, you make the necessary adjustments so they won't
- 17:39Speaker 1: pick up things like that, Hey put that down off
- 17:42Speaker 1: our desk, Hey put that down. Get your ass word
- 17:45Speaker 1: from the desk. No, you don't get two times that
- 17:50Speaker 1: third one third one. I don't get you two times.
- 17:53Speaker 1: And after that we've been changed where obviously this ain't
- 17:56Speaker 1: getting through. That's funny, yeah, and they remember put that
- 17:59Speaker 1: in and then they go to so Anthony Hamilton though
- 18:12Speaker 1: I mean his it was his rendition of the Star
- 18:17Speaker 1: Spangled banner was really really good. Anthony Hamilton got at it. Yeah,
- 18:23Speaker 1: they had him on several sports shows. They were talking
- 18:26Speaker 1: about the bad versions that went out and because they
- 18:29Speaker 1: was mad at last year. Yeah, well well let's take it.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Let's listen to a little bit of it. Here we
- 18:34Speaker 1: go where who who see? Can you see by the
- 18:52Speaker 1: do what's superproud Lee? We hear at the twilight last gleaming,
- 19:09Speaker 1: Who's brought stride and bright star through the bill rules,
- 19:18Speaker 1: fire and the ram? But we watch what's your gutling
- 19:29Speaker 1: lea streaming and the rack getsrid? The bursting in gap
- 19:44Speaker 1: broo through the night that I played was still damn
- 19:55Speaker 1: all shame. That's the spangle bander bander where or the
- 20:15Speaker 1: lad and the free and the whole of the breathe
- 20:40Speaker 1: who that was? And he's from Charlotte, right, so they
- 20:47Speaker 1: gave him. I'm gonna have to put that one right
- 20:49Speaker 1: next to are not not now your Marvin's at the
- 20:53Speaker 1: All Star Game? Hands down my favorite? Yeah, and then
- 20:57Speaker 1: and then right up there with Whitney though no Whitney's
- 21:01Speaker 1: was the Whitney was. Yes, Athney's was like you know
- 21:07Speaker 1: that that voice but the version that Marvin Gayde and
- 21:12Speaker 1: the version Anthony Hamilton's Anthony Hamilton. But you know what Anthony, Yeah, yeah,
- 21:19Speaker 1: but not Carl Lewis though, right, why would you not?
- 21:26Speaker 1: Anthony said? Fergie texted him and said, great job coming back,
- 21:32Speaker 1: coming up next to nephew and run that prank back
- 21:35Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show coming up at
- 21:41Speaker 1: the top of the hour, Guys and Entertainment News more
- 21:44Speaker 1: questioned coming out about Jesse Smallett's attack, and uh, miss An, yeah,
- 21:50Speaker 1: Miss Anna is gonna be here with National News right now.
- 21:54Speaker 1: The nephews in the building with run that prank back?
- 21:56Speaker 1: What you got for us and have today? I've got
- 21:58Speaker 1: the sleeping security card, Oh, leaping scary running security booth
- 22:09Speaker 1: man help you? Hey, uh this circuit, this stuff I
- 22:13Speaker 1: can barely hear. Is this is this a security booth
- 22:17Speaker 1: down by the by the gate, Yes, sir, this security booth. Yeah. Listen, man,
- 22:22Speaker 1: it's some people, uh next door to me. They keep
- 22:27Speaker 1: I'm hearing a bunch of scuffling and stuff going on,
- 22:29Speaker 1: but I ain't, you know, I ain't really show what's happening.
- 22:33Speaker 1: I know, I know I'm hearing this. Lady scream or something. Man,
- 22:36Speaker 1: But I I just okay, sir, you can give us
- 22:42Speaker 1: the unit number that you're in. We could have somebody
- 22:46Speaker 1: come right over there and check that out. Hello, sir, sir,
- 22:55Speaker 1: um Hello sir. Okay, yeah, I uh, I gotta I
- 23:01Speaker 1: gotta sleep in this auto, man, So I'm okay, honest.
- 23:07Speaker 1: People next door to me, man, they was, I mean,
- 23:10Speaker 1: they were sitting there. I heard this lady screen and

- 29:49Speaker 1: Let attack that's coming up right after this you're listening show. Well,
- 29:58Speaker 1: there are still questions and a lot of them about
- 30:01Speaker 1: this whole Jesse Smallett attack. According to TMZ, Jesse Smallett
- 30:07Speaker 1: rehearsed the attack against him days before the incident, and
- 30:11Speaker 1: it was all staged for the camera. This is according
- 30:14Speaker 1: to what two brothers told cops. Law enforcement sources told
- 30:18Speaker 1: CBS aid Abel and Ola Osuandaro told cops they were
- 30:24Speaker 1: that they got in a car with Jesse and scouted
- 30:26Speaker 1: a location, settling on the right on the one on
- 30:30Speaker 1: the right outside of Jesse's apartment. The brothers said Jesse
- 30:34Speaker 1: chose the spot because he believed a camera would have
- 30:37Speaker 1: captured the action the brothers performed before the rehearsal. They
- 30:42Speaker 1: screamed out they recognized Jesse from Empire and then hurled
- 30:46Speaker 1: or races inward and then the homophobic F word at him.
- 30:50Speaker 1: TMZ is reporting the brothers Tobolie Jesse said he wanted
- 30:53Speaker 1: to make it a quote physical thing, but not to
- 30:56Speaker 1: the point he'd be seriously injured now. When the cops arrived,
- 31:00Speaker 1: Jesse took them down to the area he said the
- 31:03Speaker 1: attack went down and pointed to the camera, saying it
- 31:06Speaker 1: was um. It was good the incident was captured on video.
- 31:10Speaker 1: What he didn't know was that the camera was pointed
- 31:12Speaker 1: in the wrong direction and didn't capture the incident. My
- 31:17Speaker 1: job was that was my job was really limon water.
- 31:22Speaker 1: That was my job. That's just what I did. The police,
- 31:27Speaker 1: I have to say, not the one who did it.
- 31:29Speaker 1: We did an I did the limon water. What did
- 31:32Speaker 1: you do? It was Jesse Juice. Thank you. Yes, you
- 31:40Speaker 1: are the one that could not tie loose the right weight.
- 31:42Speaker 1: You are the one thing that no one put their
- 31:45Speaker 1: news on you. No one. I don't know why, Jesse
- 31:48Speaker 1: say we did. We did the one It was now Google,
- 31:56Speaker 1: who would leave it was no way. We never do nows,
- 32:00Speaker 1: never do we do news. I want this to be
- 32:02Speaker 1: clear that this is Tommy and Jail. We are clear.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Please don't tip my name. I like it though, but
- 32:13Speaker 1: don't time my name. Keep listening. It was used because
- 32:17Speaker 1: we did. We did. We did rehearsing Landwich. We were
- 32:21Speaker 1: not my brother Sandwich, and we saw him. We said, okay,
- 32:24Speaker 1: we'll do I like, why don't sound like y'all from India.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Keep listening, look at it. That's you know, he's gonna
- 32:40Speaker 1: get caught up, you know. Yeah, he promise that we
- 32:46Speaker 1: would do African Empire. That's what I do have to
- 32:50Speaker 1: say this. The police in Chicago are still investigating this incident.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Why you saying it? Yeah, so we don't know if
- 32:59Speaker 1: it's these jokes, I would think so obviously y'all feel
- 33:06Speaker 1: that way. Here we are. If it is too soon,
- 33:10Speaker 1: we want to do them. Thanks. Take everything I said,
- 33:17Speaker 1: your own wife, my brother, Take it off me. I
- 33:24Speaker 1: can tell you what happened me and my brother right
- 33:29Speaker 1: the one did your subway sandwich. You are gonna feel
- 33:33Speaker 1: like complete idiots when this comes out to be the truth.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Then we're different reenacted, a different wife ever ever again
- 33:44Speaker 1: like get your fellow comedians. See all right, listen, please
- 33:57Speaker 1: take us to the mixed break ladies. Yes, I will say, gentlemen,
- 34:05Speaker 1: but we don't hand ladies in junior. Thank you, Miss
- 34:09Speaker 1: Anne trill Ent with the news. Good morning. Okay. A
- 34:14Speaker 1: coalition of sixteen states has followed a suit in federal
- 34:17Speaker 1: court to block President Trump's planned to build that border
- 34:20Speaker 1: wall without the okay and the allocation of funds from
- 34:22Speaker 1: the Congress. Fifteen of the states bringing suit, led by
- 34:25Speaker 1: democratic governors, the sixteenth Maryland, led by a Republican They're
- 34:28Speaker 1: all seeking a preliminary injunction that would vent Trump from
- 34:31Speaker 1: acting on that emergency declaration while the matter plays out
- 34:34Speaker 1: in the courts. Meanwhile, demonstrate is rallied in cities across
- 34:37Speaker 1: the country yesterday to protests that the emergency declaration. One
- 34:40Speaker 1: took place in the nation's capital, where several hundred protesters
- 34:44Speaker 1: stood right across from the White House to demonstrate. A
- 34:47Speaker 1: new NPRPBS news our Marist poll finds that a majority
- 34:50Speaker 1: of Americans six out of ten of them disapprove of
- 34:53Speaker 1: the emergency designation, don't even think there is an emergency,
- 34:57Speaker 1: and that Trump is misusing they think his president ual powers. However,
- 35:01Speaker 1: Trump's base remains solidly behind him. Thoriy say the crime
- 35:05Speaker 1: is way up these days in Jacksonville, Florida, so much
- 35:08Speaker 1: so that local lawmakers say they're considering calling in a
- 35:10Speaker 1: National Guard after a string of shootings there left six
- 35:13Speaker 1: victims dead over just the past four days. Jacksonville Democratic
- 35:17Speaker 1: Senator Audrey Gibson says, the body's a piling up. I
- 35:20Speaker 1: don't have a problem calling out the National Guard. I'm
- 35:23Speaker 1: not interested so much in having armed guardsmen on every corner,
- 35:28Speaker 1: but we need to have a bigger presence in this city.
- 35:31Speaker 1: So far, twenty one people, I've been murdered in Jacksonville
- 35:33Speaker 1: since just the beginning of this year, and the senator's
- 35:36Speaker 1: calling for a citywide curfew of ten pm. North Carolina's
- 35:40Speaker 1: Board of Elections as open hearings on an investigation to
- 35:44Speaker 1: an alleged ballot fraud problem during last November's congressional race
- 35:48Speaker 1: in the tar Hill States ninth District. After all this time,
- 35:51Speaker 1: still no winner has been declared because of allegations that
- 35:54Speaker 1: are Republican political operative tampered with absentee ballots. Of state
- 35:58Speaker 1: officials are now determining whether a whole new election is
- 36:01Speaker 1: going to be have to help. According to recent polls
- 36:03Speaker 1: out of Emerson College in Iowa and Monmouth University in
- 36:06Speaker 1: New Jersey, Folks Senator Kamala Harris of California running near
- 36:11Speaker 1: the top of the list of Democratic hopefuls running for
- 36:13Speaker 1: the White House, just behind former Vice President Joe Biden
- 36:17Speaker 1: and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders. That's right, and the California
- 36:20Speaker 1: Senator has also held a number one spot, they say,
- 36:23Speaker 1: on CNN's Democratic Power rankings list for months. By the way,
- 36:27Speaker 1: Bernie Sanders says he's about to announce that he's going
- 36:29Speaker 1: to re enter the race and run for president again.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Magna announcements sometime today. Finally, today is Adopt a Rabbit Day, doctor,
- 36:39Speaker 1: Maybe not that one. Yeah, yah yah yeah. Now back
- 36:40Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Everybody you're listening to show, Well, yesterday, guys,
- 36:48Speaker 1: with President's Day. President Trump is defending his declaration of
- 36:52Speaker 1: a national emergency at the US Mexican border. This was
- 36:56Speaker 1: the calmest national emergency call I've ever heard. Uh, In
- 37:01Speaker 1: case you missed it, Trump said the US is confronting
- 37:03Speaker 1: a national security crisis at the White House, even on
- 37:08Speaker 1: event on Friday, and then he went to play golf. Okay,
- 37:12Speaker 1: so right about to head his wall about to pop off.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Get out here and get this. I'm gonna play golf.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Then I'm gonna eat something they're gonna eat again. Again.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Let me let this be known. The President's Day that
- 37:31Speaker 1: I celebrated yesterday was the Barock side. That's why I'm yes, yes, okay,
- 37:36Speaker 1: that's somebody somebody SI sid something about that says I
- 37:40Speaker 1: celebrate President's Day. When we get we get one right now. Yeah. Anyway,
- 37:47Speaker 1: mister Trump cited an invasion of US by illegal immigrants
- 37:51Speaker 1: and warned about the flow of illicit drugs along the
- 37:53Speaker 1: southern border. Under the emergency declaration, Trump plans to divert
- 37:57Speaker 1: Defense Department funds to build the wall. A number of
- 38:01Speaker 1: Democrats calling are calling his declaration an i legal thing,
- 38:06Speaker 1: and he is trying to go around Congress. Also, in
- 38:09Speaker 1: other related news, President Trump is not giving up on
- 38:12Speaker 1: the Nobel Peace Prize. He thinks he should win. He
- 38:21Speaker 1: did us, but he thinks they should win. Yeah, and
- 38:25Speaker 1: he's getting ready to set up another meeting. You get
- 38:28Speaker 1: a piece of pie? Why would why would he get that? Well,
- 38:32Speaker 1: he thinks he should win at sea for at least
- 38:34Speaker 1: trying to denuclearize North Korea. Wow, you don't seven Muslim
- 38:41Speaker 1: countries from traveling here. You want a wall? But I
- 38:45Speaker 1: think Nobel Peace Prize man. Well, you know, the Japanese
- 38:52Speaker 1: Prime minister wrote this five page letter. But what he's
- 38:55Speaker 1: not saying is that they're saying that the White House
- 38:58Speaker 1: requested the letter. So Prime minister wrote this letter as
- 39:04Speaker 1: part of like this domination process. Jay, we've had enough.
- 39:08Speaker 1: I hear you, Jay, morning, we have no problems. You
- 39:16Speaker 1: let him out. Punish press, punishpiss still use punish press.
- 39:22Speaker 1: No called US mail the post off. I don't know
- 39:27Speaker 1: about the dead one. All right, We'll coming up at
- 39:31Speaker 1: thirty four after the hour, We're gonna have more on
- 39:33Speaker 1: this whole Jesse Smallett story. It keeps. We're so confused
- 39:37Speaker 1: with this. I don't know you're gonna ask. I'm just
- 39:47Speaker 1: because it's such a huge story. They want to know
- 39:51Speaker 1: the truth. Jesse on ABC on a Good Morning America
- 39:55Speaker 1: with Robin Roberts said, why would someone make something like
- 39:58Speaker 1: this up? So anyway, Yeah, it really is. All right,
- 40:02Speaker 1: We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 40:04Speaker 1: Show right after this. You're listening to show. Jesse Smallett
- 40:10Speaker 1: is accusing He is being accused of orchestrating the attack
- 40:14Speaker 1: against himself. According to multiple reports, Police say the two
- 40:19Speaker 1: men that were rested last week. Their names are Ola
- 40:22Speaker 1: and abel Osan Darrow. They claimed that they were paid
- 40:25Speaker 1: thirty five hundred dollars to help Jesse Smallett stage this attack.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Officials have also released the brothers without charging them. Jesse
- 40:34Speaker 1: Smaallett's attorneys released a statement they're saying, as a victim
- 40:37Speaker 1: of a hate crime who has cooperated with the police investigation,
- 40:41Speaker 1: Jesse Smalett is angered and devastated by recent reports that
- 40:45Speaker 1: the perpetrators are individuals he is familiar with. He has
- 40:48Speaker 1: now been further victimized by claims attributed to these alleged
- 40:52Speaker 1: perpetrators that Jesse played a role in his own attack. Wow,
- 40:57Speaker 1: and so his lawyer that's the statement. Wow. Yeah. Yeah.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Then I mean, you know, look, you gotta wait and see. Yeah,
- 41:05Speaker 1: that's right. Jesse is sticking to his story. He's sticking
- 41:08Speaker 1: to his story, and the police are still investigating. These
- 41:11Speaker 1: are the things that are are being leaked, you know,
- 41:19Speaker 1: you know, Wow, but not for thirty five. But I
- 41:22Speaker 1: just I don't see why he would lie about this. Yeah,
- 41:27Speaker 1: I mean the question the questions that I don't I
- 41:30Speaker 1: don't know the purpose of that, Yeah, the purpose of
- 41:33Speaker 1: lyne about it. I don't know why. But see, the
- 41:35Speaker 1: police is the forensic signs today is unbelievable. Absolutely, And
- 41:42Speaker 1: you know, they identified the two guys in the video.
- 41:48Speaker 1: They went back and researched every corner that they came from.
- 41:53Speaker 1: They went back that night and looked at every camera
- 41:56Speaker 1: to see where these two guys showed up in the
- 41:58Speaker 1: one photo that they did have. That's how they trade
- 42:02Speaker 1: traced it back to these two guys right here. Now,
- 42:04Speaker 1: they don't let these two guys go. Yeah, based on
- 42:08Speaker 1: what they've said so far, Yeah, now you know we
- 42:11Speaker 1: got a problem now. Yeah. And you know, Steve, everyone
- 42:14Speaker 1: that has been on the news that have said that
- 42:17Speaker 1: they have a relationship with Jesse, that they know him,
- 42:21Speaker 1: they just say, this is not that. This does not
- 42:24Speaker 1: go with the kind of person that he is, with
- 42:27Speaker 1: his character. They don't believe that he would do something
- 42:30Speaker 1: like this, that he would make up a story like
- 42:32Speaker 1: this stage. This is second liar, right, the jussee that
- 42:35Speaker 1: they know. That's what the people who know him are saying. Well,
- 42:40Speaker 1: statement is pretty solid, you know. Yeah, and uh, you
- 42:44Speaker 1: know Ava Diverne, the director, she directed um uh Selma
- 42:49Speaker 1: and the other movie with Oprah. Anyway, she she she
- 42:54Speaker 1: took to Twitter. She said, despite the inconsistencies, I can't
- 42:58Speaker 1: blindly believe Chica go p D. She says, the department,
- 43:02Speaker 1: This is the department that covered up shooting Lakwan McDonald
- 43:06Speaker 1: over a dozen times. So she wants to wait for
- 43:09Speaker 1: the investigation to be complete. Statement and everyone should everyone
- 43:13Speaker 1: should wait because it is an ongoing investigation. It just
- 43:17Speaker 1: looks crazy and everyone is confused. Right now, you know
- 43:21Speaker 1: about this. I think it could be a finale to
- 43:24Speaker 1: Empire maybe, you know, see right on, I'm sorry. Probably
- 43:29Speaker 1: the reason they don't want you leading this show ever
- 43:33Speaker 1: leading it could have been shooting an episode of EMPA.
- 43:38Speaker 1: That's your team, that's the two teams right same time
- 43:46Speaker 1: he moved. It's just like the stupid leading. But I
- 43:53Speaker 1: do understand, let's wait and see what because the investigation
- 43:56Speaker 1: is ongoing. You know, it doesn't I mean, honestly, it
- 44:00Speaker 1: looks crazy right now. It doesn't look good. Yeah, but
- 44:03Speaker 1: if he's mine, he has made it bad for everybody
- 44:06Speaker 1: who's gonna report something like that. Oh absolutely, I mean
- 44:13Speaker 1: it's it's it's the same thing the way they and
- 44:16Speaker 1: I don't you know, I'm just saying, not not comparing
- 44:19Speaker 1: the two, but I mean, if you're talking about a
- 44:21Speaker 1: hate crime, I am comparing the two. It's just like
- 44:24Speaker 1: women who've been sexually molested and then when they come forward, Oh,
- 44:30Speaker 1: it's like, well, what did were you wearing? What did
- 44:33Speaker 1: you do? You know? And then it makes it awful
- 44:36Speaker 1: bad for women who have really been suffering from some
- 44:40Speaker 1: type of Yeah, you know, it's like the Little Boy
- 44:45Speaker 1: the story we read when we were kids, a little
- 44:47Speaker 1: boy who cried wold. You know, it's just it's really
- 44:51Speaker 1: you know, it's awful, but we have to wait until
- 44:53Speaker 1: the police investigation is over. You know. Coming up, it
- 44:58Speaker 1: is a nephew with today's pray phone call that's coming
- 45:01Speaker 1: up right after this you're listening, Coming up at the
- 45:06Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after. It's
- 45:09Speaker 1: my strawberry letter for today, subject my housewife, missus the
- 45:14Speaker 1: street life. Yeah, but right now it is the nephew
- 45:18Speaker 1: here with today's prank phone call. What you got for
- 45:21Speaker 1: his nap? A small favor? That's what I want. I'd
- 45:26Speaker 1: like to ask for a small favor. This sounds perfectly harmless,
- 45:31Speaker 1: don't don't. Just sure to tend him to run it,
- 45:35Speaker 1: small favor, run it, run it. Hello, I'm trying to
- 45:41Speaker 1: reach Vicky. Vicky, Hey, Vicky, how are you doing? Are
- 45:45Speaker 1: you the um? Are you the niece of uh? Uh?
- 45:50Speaker 1: I think it's ain't ain't your aren't? Yes? Okay, and
- 45:56Speaker 1: you're you know you aren't passed away? I mean I
- 45:58Speaker 1: mean years ago, y'all, as it was about five years ago. Okay, listen,
- 46:04Speaker 1: I don't over here at the funeral home. Uh my
- 46:07Speaker 1: my sister just passed away, and they gave me your
- 46:12Speaker 1: phone number. Did you guys, We're going through a little
- 46:16Speaker 1: bit of a situation here, did you guys? Aren't you
- 46:19Speaker 1: know your aunt was a heavy set woman? Is that right? Yes?
- 46:22Speaker 1: She was? Okay, Now they had to did they have
- 46:25Speaker 1: to put her in a in a Did they have
- 46:27Speaker 1: a bill of a special casket for her? Yeah? Okay,
- 46:32Speaker 1: that's what we're kind of going through with my sister.
- 46:34Speaker 1: We ordered a special casket for for for my sister,
- 46:39Speaker 1: and I'm assuming this is the same thing that you
- 46:42Speaker 1: guys went through. I called several of her children, but
- 46:46Speaker 1: I wasn't able to get in touch with anybody. But
- 46:47Speaker 1: the funeral home actually had your name on file as well,
- 46:51Speaker 1: so they gave me your number where I would be
- 46:53Speaker 1: able to talk to you. Is that is that? Okay? Yeah,
- 46:56Speaker 1: that's okay. You can speak to me, but you know
- 46:59Speaker 1: what things to be problem Well, listen, we the funeral
- 47:03Speaker 1: is actually in two days and we ordered one of
- 47:07Speaker 1: those special caskets, but it doesn't look like it's gonna
- 47:11Speaker 1: be in for another week, so you know, it's almost
- 47:14Speaker 1: like we're gonna, we're gonna, We're not gonna have a
- 47:16Speaker 1: casket for her um, you know, for the funeral, and
- 47:21Speaker 1: you know, like I said, the funeral home told us
- 47:23Speaker 1: about you know that you guys are the last ones
- 47:25Speaker 1: that ordered a casket of that size, and you know,
- 47:28Speaker 1: me and the rest of the family has been you know,
- 47:30Speaker 1: we're trying to figure out what to do and what
- 47:32Speaker 1: to do. Do you think it's any way possible we
- 47:36Speaker 1: can borrow the casket that your Ain't is in, and
- 47:42Speaker 1: then when the casket comes in and we ordered, we
- 47:44Speaker 1: can put her in that casket and put her back
- 47:48Speaker 1: down to rest like she's always been. Do you think that?
- 47:53Speaker 1: Excuse me? Hello, hello yourself? What exactly how are you
- 47:59Speaker 1: asking me? Well, what I'm saying is do you think
- 48:02Speaker 1: we can bar your ain't casket? Because you know, the
- 48:05Speaker 1: funerals in two days and the casket is not gonna
- 48:08Speaker 1: be in in order for us to be able to
- 48:11Speaker 1: bury her in a in a casket for you know,
- 48:13Speaker 1: to accommodate her size. That's what I'm asking. What kind
- 48:17Speaker 1: of this you're talking about? First of all, who is this? Okay? No,
- 48:21Speaker 1: my name is Larry, Like I said, my name is Larry.
- 48:24Speaker 1: I got you, I got you guys, like I said,
- 48:26Speaker 1: I tried to call some of her kids, but nobody
- 48:29Speaker 1: ever picked up when I called her niece's number on
- 48:34Speaker 1: file too. You you are her niece, Vicky, right, Yes,
- 48:37Speaker 1: I am. Okay, that's what I'm saying. Do you think
- 48:40Speaker 1: that maybe you can talk to the children and see
- 48:43Speaker 1: if we can maybe use that particular casket? Okay, wait
- 48:47Speaker 1: a minute, what the talking about this? The First of all,
- 48:51Speaker 1: who who is this? You? You gotta be losing your
- 48:53Speaker 1: mind if you think I'm gonna let you dig up
- 48:56Speaker 1: my any for just to bury yourself and where you're
- 49:00Speaker 1: coming from. But what I'm trying to say is that
- 49:02Speaker 1: we don't have a casket big enough. And they were
- 49:05Speaker 1: they they let us know that you guys were the
- 49:07Speaker 1: last ones that had a casket that you know you
- 49:10Speaker 1: gotta do with us. That's you don't trust stuff figuring out,
- 49:13Speaker 1: have you? No? No? Well, okay, first of all, what
- 49:17Speaker 1: I'm trying to do is this, the family been grieving
- 49:20Speaker 1: pretty hard, and I just wanted to make sure that
- 49:22Speaker 1: the funeral will be right, and it ain't gonna be right,
- 49:24Speaker 1: and we don't have that. We don't bring my family
- 49:27Speaker 1: gonna feel digging any of you. They don't call me
- 49:31Speaker 1: with this. Who is the funeral home that gave you
- 49:35Speaker 1: my number to ask me to use the casket so
- 49:39Speaker 1: you can bury your sister. Who is the name of
- 49:41Speaker 1: that person? I can't remember, but it was it was
- 49:44Speaker 1: a guy. The funeral director let me know that you
- 49:46Speaker 1: guys had went through a situation where you had to
- 49:49Speaker 1: bury your your your aunt. Like I said, I try
- 49:52Speaker 1: to call what's your name again? My name is Larry? Okay, Larry?
- 49:56Speaker 1: This is this is I don't know what give you
- 49:59Speaker 1: my don't number to call me asking you just dune?
- 50:02Speaker 1: Can you believe her? They call you asking me so
- 50:05Speaker 1: can dig up a faking bury? That's my fare's Some
- 50:11Speaker 1: don't have a casket? Hello, No, No, what kind of
- 50:14Speaker 1: ID that's your fault? No, I understand it's not your fault.
- 50:17Speaker 1: What I'm trying to say is when y'all show some
- 50:19Speaker 1: sympathy and some love for me our family going through
- 50:23Speaker 1: because we don't have a casket. Like I say, my sister,
- 50:26Speaker 1: my sister was was you know? Was it if the
- 50:28Speaker 1: heaven was a hest walk time? God? You know, my
- 50:31Speaker 1: conduless go out to you and your family. You know
- 50:33Speaker 1: I'm trying to be as reserved as I can with
- 50:36Speaker 1: this whole situation. But do you understand what kind of
- 50:39Speaker 1: stupid you're asking me right now to actually dig up
- 50:43Speaker 1: my un whose army, who's been and what I for
- 50:45Speaker 1: fun years? To bury your sister? Because let me have
- 50:51Speaker 1: let me ask you this, if this, if we you
- 50:55Speaker 1: that you ain't ain't gonna know she ain't gonna know
- 50:58Speaker 1: where you for you to say to mey like what
- 51:02Speaker 1: don't but you're stupid. You're talking on you smoking crack,
- 51:07Speaker 1: what don't know? I don't know more? First of all,
- 51:11Speaker 1: you know what I First of all, I appreciate you
- 51:13Speaker 1: trying to work with me, but I want to say
- 51:15Speaker 1: this is you. You don't even have the authority to
- 51:17Speaker 1: make that decision if you give me one of the
- 51:19Speaker 1: numbers to one of your cousins. Because I was really
- 51:23Speaker 1: trying to be nice and be calm. But guess what,
- 51:26Speaker 1: we're not doing this stupid. I'm trying to be nice
- 51:29Speaker 1: to you and tell and trying to help you out,
- 51:31Speaker 1: but no, you won't need to get ignorant and ask
- 51:33Speaker 1: stupid with you. I was trying to be nice and sympathetic,
- 51:36Speaker 1: but we're not doing it. I'm not giving you the number.
- 51:39Speaker 1: I got the authority to tell you right now. No,
- 51:43Speaker 1: we're not digging up, so you can bury yourselfs fear. Okay,
- 51:47Speaker 1: so so so so so that's just it. I can't
- 51:49Speaker 1: talk to now, that's no. You aren't talking to know,
- 51:52Speaker 1: but you're talking to me. Okay, I got, I got,
- 51:54Speaker 1: I got something else. I need to tell you though,
- 51:56Speaker 1: I need, I need to tell you something else. Are
- 51:58Speaker 1: you listen? But tell me? I want to tell you this.

- 53:08Speaker 1: Who all that money for one time? There you go, James,
- 53:13Speaker 1: Tommy baby team Tommy know what I'm saying. Why should
- 53:16Speaker 1: a cast could only be used once? Why the person

- 53:31Speaker 1: you borrow it, are you going to give it back? Ye?

- 54:50Speaker 1: It is Strawberry Letter, subject my housewife, missus the street Life. Wow.
- 54:57Speaker 1: All right, Dear Stephen Shirley, I am married and I
- 55:00Speaker 1: have been with my wife for many years. We were
- 55:02Speaker 1: good friends before we became lovers, and I helped her
- 55:05Speaker 1: work through a lot of bad relationships before we started dating.
- 55:09Speaker 1: I've never held her past against her, and I never
- 55:12Speaker 1: throw it up in her face. But whenever we are
- 55:15Speaker 1: out with our married friends, my wife likes to point
- 55:18Speaker 1: out how she used to kick it back in the
- 55:20Speaker 1: day and brag about all of the lavish gifts she
- 55:23Speaker 1: got from her past lovers. It's embarrassing to me, and
- 55:27Speaker 1: it makes her look bad. I told her that she
- 55:30Speaker 1: sounds like a loose woman, but she said her passes
- 55:32Speaker 1: in the past and it means nothing to her now.
- 55:35Speaker 1: But I don't think her past is completely out of
- 55:38Speaker 1: her systems. She craves attention and loves going out with
- 55:43Speaker 1: the girls so she can come home and tell me
- 55:45Speaker 1: that she still got it. I'm so different. I like
- 55:49Speaker 1: going out, but not weakly. I don't care if she
- 55:52Speaker 1: goes out with her friends, and I never respond when
- 55:54Speaker 1: she tells me about the attention she got while she
- 55:57Speaker 1: was out. I'm not a stalker, nor do I check
- 56:00Speaker 1: her phone or question her about anything. This makes her
- 56:03Speaker 1: very upset, and she thinks that I should be more
- 56:06Speaker 1: concerned about what she's doing. I trust her for now
- 56:11Speaker 1: because I don't want to think that my wife will
- 56:13Speaker 1: revert back to how wild and free she used to be.
- 56:17Speaker 1: I hope she doesn't think that. Because I trust her,
- 56:19Speaker 1: I'm stupid enough to sit back and let her cheat
- 56:22Speaker 1: on me. Stephen Shirley, you know the saying you can't
- 56:25Speaker 1: turn a substitute the word for garden tool in here
- 56:31Speaker 1: into a housewife. Okay, h hope just a garden tool,
- 56:37Speaker 1: garden tool into a housewife. But the words hope, h
- 56:43Speaker 1: e yea, all right? Well goden to people mistake like
- 56:49Speaker 1: for rake or shoveling. Well, I'm starting to think this
- 56:54Speaker 1: applies to my marriage. I'm tired of being embarrassed. Should
- 56:57Speaker 1: I give her some space so she can decide of
- 56:59Speaker 1: Mary just right for her? Please? Help? Well, I gotta
- 57:03Speaker 1: give you some credit, I think for being a pretty
- 57:06Speaker 1: cool sounding husband here. You sound pretty mature. You were
- 57:10Speaker 1: a good friend to her. You said you helped her
- 57:11Speaker 1: work through some past bad relationships. She never held that
- 57:15Speaker 1: against her. You took it when you guys were out
- 57:18Speaker 1: in public and she embarrassed you in front of your
- 57:20Speaker 1: your friends. You don't mind when she goes out with
- 57:23Speaker 1: her girlfriends for girls' night out. You're not sweating her,
- 57:26Speaker 1: you're not nagging her, you're not going through her phone
- 57:29Speaker 1: because you say you trust her, and that's what a
- 57:31Speaker 1: marriage and a true relationship is all about. I don't
- 57:35Speaker 1: know what more she could want in a good man.
- 57:39Speaker 1: It seems like your wife is taking you and your
- 57:41Speaker 1: marriage for granted. But the crazy part is is as
- 57:45Speaker 1: she says that her past is the past, and it
- 57:49Speaker 1: means nothing to her now. But how can that be
- 57:52Speaker 1: the case? How can that be when she's out telling
- 57:54Speaker 1: everybody about all the lavish gifts she used to get
- 57:57Speaker 1: and all of that that was in the past, but
- 57:59Speaker 1: she continues to bring it up. You've told her that
- 58:02Speaker 1: you're embarrassed and that it makes her look bad, but
- 58:04Speaker 1: she's not listening. It sounds like you say she craigs
- 58:08Speaker 1: your attention. So are you giving her enough attention? Does
- 58:12Speaker 1: she need more attention? Maybe she'll stop if you pay
- 58:16Speaker 1: a little more attention to her. Things like that. I
- 58:18Speaker 1: don't know. You seem to maybe too free with her,
- 58:22Speaker 1: and she's so used to these bad relationships, so maybe
- 58:24Speaker 1: she thinks you don't care about her. Maybe you need
- 58:27Speaker 1: to switch things up a little bit, you know, and
- 58:31Speaker 1: act a little jealous sometimes. See how she responds to that. Steve,
- 58:36Speaker 1: he played this game with you. This woman right here,
- 58:41Speaker 1: My housewife missed the street life. Okay, cool. You've been
- 58:44Speaker 1: married to your girl for a while. You know, she
- 58:48Speaker 1: had to work through a lot of bad relationships. But
- 58:50Speaker 1: then when y'all go out with y'all married friends. Your
- 58:54Speaker 1: wife liked to point out how she used to kick
- 58:56Speaker 1: it back in the damn brag about all lavish gifts
- 58:58Speaker 1: she got from a past lovers. It's embarrassing to me
- 59:02Speaker 1: right there, let's stop the letter. Why you let her
- 59:06Speaker 1: do it? Though? And this don't happen one time, It
- 59:09Speaker 1: happens all the time. That's why you write. Why do
- 59:13Speaker 1: you allow her to bring up all these past lovers
- 59:18Speaker 1: and these lavish guilts that you've told her that it
- 59:21Speaker 1: bothers you, and she keep doing it? All right? I
- 59:24Speaker 1: got a suggestion for you in a minute. It makes
- 59:28Speaker 1: her look like a loose woman. Then you say how
- 59:31Speaker 1: she craves attention. She go out with her girls and
- 59:35Speaker 1: she come home brag and she still got it. Well,
- 59:39Speaker 1: you know what, you keep on with this hill? Why
- 59:42Speaker 1: don't you let her have it? See all in bad
- 59:45Speaker 1: relationships that you helped her get pass She obviously you
- 59:51Speaker 1: know it is not appreciative of the fact that you
- 59:55Speaker 1: have taken her in spite of all she did, nurtured
- 59:59Speaker 1: her and tried these show her some simults of how
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: she should be treated. This is just the person that
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: just don't appreciate how it feels to be treated. Right.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: There are some people in this world, men and women
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: that think that staying in a messy, dysfunctional relationship is okay,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: and it's not. But it's really not for you, though, dog,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: it really ain't. Man. She craves attention. You know, y'all
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: so different. I like going out, but not weakly. Well see,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: so I'm assuming y'all probably in your thirties. I'm assuming
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: because she going out weekly, so she got to be
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: early thirties or something. That's what I'm uh. I think.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: I think he just don't want to Okay, she could.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: He could be just a couple of years older, but
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: not much. You know, she on here on cam she
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: go out with her friends, and then she never he
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: never reached Why don't tell about the tension? And and
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: and then that she gets that. She comes to that
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: bragg and she still got it. He don't check her
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: phone or question her about anything. Then that makes her upset,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: and she thinks that I should be more concerned about
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: what she's doing. I don't understand this woman, though I don't.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: I'm not fit to flip my scrimping start checking on
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: you and all this here because I don't want to
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: live my life like that. I'm assuming he wants to
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: be in a relationship where he trusts a woman because
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: he's said, I trust her for now, because I don't
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: want to think my wife will revert back to how
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: wild and free she used to be. What's she talking about?
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: If it's on her mind? Hello, Like my mom always says,
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: if it's on your mind, it's just a matter of time.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: Who that rhyme? You better say that if it's on
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: your mind, it's just a matter of time, a matter
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: of time. And that's usually the case it is man,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: And so I would be very concerned at this point
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: that when we come back, I have a suggestion. All right, Well, look,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: we'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: twenty three after the hours, subject my Housewife, missus the
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: street Life. Right after this, you're listening, all right, Steve,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Let's recap today's Strawberry Letters subject my housewife, missus the
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: street Life in signet. Yeah, helped your wife get through
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: all these bad relationships she had married her. Every time
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: y'all go out, what you don't want to go out
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: all times? She want to go out weekly. But when
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: you go out with your married, married friends. She always
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: talked about how she kicked it back in the day.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: Brag about all the gifts she got. Makes you embarrassed.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: She seems like a loose woman. She liked to go
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: out with her girls, come about bragging about how she
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: still got it. You know, uh, and and so and
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: a whole lot of other mess. But now, bro, if
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: this woman is making you feel this way when y'all
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: got and she does it repeatedly, He's not writing this
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: letter because it happened one time, he said, whenever we
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: go out with our married friends, my wife likes to
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: point out how she used to kick it. You know
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: what you got to do, like, you gotta put stop
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: to this now. Since I'm not telling you to divorce
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: your wife over this, I'm telling my suggestion is how
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: to stop it. First of all, sit her down the
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: next time, right before y'all go out to dope with
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: and married couple. Don't do it no like days before,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: because you don't want to say, well, I forgot right
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: before y'all going out to dot say baby, no, listen,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: let's go out to have a good time. I'm asking
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: you not to bring up your past in front of nobody.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: It's embarrassing to me and it makes you come across
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: as a loose woman. So I'm asking you don't do
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: this at the table because embarrassment when you get at
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: the table. If she do it, get up and go
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: home and leave her there soon did she get up?
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: Get up because you leave it with the car? Have
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: you wanna do it? I ain't saying leaving a woman
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: without a car, but get up and leave, walk out,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: see her at home. Now when you get to the house,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: why did you leave? I asked you nicely before not
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: to do this. But I've asked you this several times before.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: So if you do it, I'm gonna let you because
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: I'm bored. I'm not gonna do it. Sit up and
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: being barrassed. Now, Bro, it might look embarrassing when you
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: do that, but don't it feel embarrassing if you stay there? Yea?
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: I know I would be tripped out of my my
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: my girls in a bit talking about all the gifts
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: she used to get from her dudes and all this here.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: What how that sound? But then she says, leave my past,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: and my past is the past? Right? You're bringing up
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: every day we now, Stephen Sherley, you notice saying you
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: can't turn a whole into a housewife. Well, I'm starting
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: to think this applies to my marriage. Well, I think it, dude, though.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: Now I ain't saying that about your wife. I'm just
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: reading what you wrote. He wrote it. I'm tired of
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: being embarrassed. Should I give her some space or she
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: can decide if marriage is right for her? Please help? Yeah,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: but tell her if you do it again, walk off, because, Bro,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: you don't need this. I don't really know no man
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: that can take this. I don't know no woman that's
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: gonna take this. You go out on a date with
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: a woman married and then be talking about all the
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: women you had while y'all out with her and her
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: friends and immature. She's very. She's very because she needs reassurance.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: I don't think you need to pay her any more attention.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: I think I think she's a monger for that. There
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: are some people who just crave it. I don't care
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: if you give us some mooe, she still gonna want
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: it from anybody. So I'm done. And then these bad
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: relationships steve that she were she was in. Then she's
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: bragging about they gave her lavish gift. So U now
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: somebody bought you bracy, but had another woman on the
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: damn coach bag. Now you just here girl. Yeah, Jay,
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: come on, you just don't want to buy had no fun,
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: that's all, No, baby, bab No, I like to have fun. Okay,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: but baby, but listen, you can go out and have
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: for just when we out with the married people. Just
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: check yourself a little bit, all right. Well, it's all
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: about having fun and letting people know where I had
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: got from other people that they ain't had nothing to
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: do with. You had nothing to hold on. But baby,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying to see. Were married. Now, that's
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: why I want you to talk about the somebody somebody
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: other other man gave you killed joy. I'm gonna kill joy. Yeah,
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: the joy, you kill the joy? I have you killing it? Baby,
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: you're a married woman. Now, I ain't gonna nowhere. I'm
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: just having fun, just fun. If you in fun, ye
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: get that? Can I just have fun? You're having too
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: much damn fun. You're gonna fund your way right on
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: out the damn marri. I'm just trying to have a
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: good time. Okay, We're gonna keep having a good time.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: You're gonna have it where you're gonna have it. You
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: You're gonna be back out there where you was. My
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: Mama told me not wait wait wait what she can't
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: stand her us? T was that you called me? You know?
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: You know what? You know what you know? I look,
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: can I just ask the question? Then? Is we together?
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: Are not? Well? It don't seem like we are because
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: you always talking about your pants? What everybody that bout you? Yeah?
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: I just want to have fun. That's what they want
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: to do. All right, We're gonna have you fun. I
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: don't give what you do. But you still got it though,
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: right me? One more time here for make me laugh
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: your damn we just it just got real, find out
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: some stuff you really think with your love. She still
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: got it all right? Well, listen, guys, you can email
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: us or instagram us your thoughts on today's Strawberry Letter
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: at Steve Harvey f M. Coming up in about ten
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: minutes is Anthony Hamilton's version of the Star Spangled Banner
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: Banner our new favorite. That's the question. WHOA we'll talk
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: about it right after this you're listening to all right, guys.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: So this past weekend, the NBA All Star Weekend was
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: in Charlotte, North Carolina, Team Lebron versus Team Jannish. We
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: know that team Lebron won the game, Yes we do.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: So what did you guys think about the game? We
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: talked about it earlier, but what did you guys think
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: about the game? The three point contest? Junior, the slam dunk.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: We know you didn't like the slam dunk contest, So
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: what didn't you like about it? What was wrong? There
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: was no dunk. You're gonna have a slam that somebody
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: got to put this ball in his gon. It was
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: just no duck. And you said, why don't they move
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: the three points? Yeah? He said no, Well, because you're
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: the dunk is more exciting. But the three point is good.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: You know, it's fair. You ain't got a grade at
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: it's how many we make? Yeah, that's it. And but
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: you know the slam dunk that it's too many attempts.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: You know, if you make it on the fourth loord. Hey,
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: even the crowd stopped clapping and then they was mad
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: at the scores. They was getting you four times you
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: tried the same that we know it's coming. Okay, we're
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: really as saying another thirty minute. We really could have
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: done that, honestly, all right, speaking of Anthony, you know
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: the dude, the hold ones you know the dude that
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: had the outfit on the jumped over the airplane, but
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: knocked the airplane, knocked the tail off the propeller. He
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: made the dunk, but that he told the prope but
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: then he over the flex It like, you don't see
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: this wheel right by your off the plane? Boy boy,
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: you didn't make clear the plane. Can we give a
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: shout out though? To Jacob Halftime? It was what's fire? Yeah?
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: She represented no jo? I love me some, Jacole. Yeah
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: I didn't see that at all. Okay, but what it
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: was I didn't it better than a super Bowl head? Yeah?
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: Wait and it was Yeah. But what we did hear
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: and what we do love is Anthony Hamilton's version, Yes,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: of the star spangled banner. Let's hear a little bit
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: of that where oh see can you see by the
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: really lie? What's your pride? Lee? We here and the
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: twilight last blaming who's brought stride and bright star through
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: the bill rules fire and the ram, but we watch
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: what's you god? Le streaming and the rack gets rid
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: the labout bursting in game rough through the night that
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: I play was still there, wal sad Off. That's the
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: spangle band bander where or the land and of the
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: free and the hood of the breathe whoa that was?
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: Donsa was good. That's cool. I'm gonna tell you right now, man,
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: that's that's that's that's up there. That's that's it. That's
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: I really think it's a time mar game. He said
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: he was to just be mentioned in the same breath
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: as the great Marvin Gay. I'm gonna tell you something, man,
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: that's that's as good as Marvin's. Man. Ye city, man, Now,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: Marvin's was until I had heard that. You couldn't talk
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: to me about Marvin's. Marvin's was the greatest rendition of
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: the Star Spangled banner. So him and him and Anthony's
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: tied for the two greatest suits, the greatest sang sanging
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: of that anthem. But rendition though, I'm talking about. Hey,
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: can you see oh Marvin Marvin Man? Oh yeah, well
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: magic then was going crazy. Boy, let me tell you something.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: But yeah, I was sitting there, man, And then they
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: got to clap into it, and he looked good. It
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: was beautiful. It was. And right after that they said, uh,
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: you cannot do that to the national anthem. No mo
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: what oh? They came out, man, oh then did it. Oh,
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: they came out and banned that. Man. They said you
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: could never do a rendition of the song again like that.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: They put no soul on it. Basically it was too
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: much fun. Well, you know, Anthony said that they did
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: ask him, uh in advance, how was he going to
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: do it, and they needed to hear it. Yeah, and
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: all of that and yeah, and after Fergie did it
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: last year, and then he said that Fergie tweeted him
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: and said he did a great job. I bet she did. Yeah,
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: I thought so. I thought that was nice. Yeah, I
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: mean it's cool. Yeah, yeah, you know, but that's just
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: artist supporting each other. It's like, man, you know, man,
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: you know who really gives it up to each other
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: in an only award show? I see him doing that Instagrammys,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: because they recognize art in each other. They appreciate it.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: Uh all right, yeah, yeah, all right. Coming up at
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: the top of the hour, we're gonna talk about roger Stone.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: He's apologizing now to the judge for his controversial Instagram post.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: all right, So Steve roger Stone, who you know has
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: been so close to uh President Bush, um, he was
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: arrested and everything. Recently and now he has apologized formally
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: for his controversial Instagram posts about a federal district judge.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: Her name is Amy Berman Jackson. Uh. He apologized to
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: her in a letter filed with the court. Jackson, of course,
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: is overseeing Stone's criminal case in DC's District Court. The
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: picture was posted and then deleted from Stone's Instagram account.
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: It shows that Jackson judge Jackson uh, showing her next
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: to cross hairs mimicking the scope of a rifle. Yea
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: who and the judge is a woman? Yes, she's a
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: woman judge. And how stupid is this? Stone? I know
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: this is the judge in your case and you're going
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: to post a picture her on your Instagram? Are you
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: in the post? He said? Stone said that the judge
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: would be presiding over a quote unquote show trial. Uh.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: Please inform the court that the photograph in comment today
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: this is his apology, were improper and should not have
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: been posted. I had no intention of disrespecting the court
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: and humbly apologize to the court for the transgression. You stupid,
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: Yeah old for that. Yeah, he's a long time associated
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: President Donald Trump wrote the letter. Yeah, you gotta stopped,
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: no respectful and you posted it, so the damage done. Yeah,
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: don you're stupid to be that old on trial. But
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: just the judge in your clay. Why are you posting
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: the picture your judge? Uh? Stone told a CNN volunteer
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: who works on his social media Uh. He said that
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: he posted the initial Instagram post and that the picture
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: was random and not meant in any way to threaten
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: the judge. Stone says he ordered it taken down because
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: it was open to misinterpretation. No really really, Oh yeah,
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: He told a CNN that a volunteer who works on
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: his sodium social media media page that they posted it.
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: A volunteer volunteers. Yeah yeah. Stone wrote in the caption
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: of the second post that is upcoming trial before the
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: judge is a show trial, and accused special counsel Robert
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: Muller of using legal trickery to ensure Jackson. The judge,
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: who he notes was appointed by former President Barack Obama,
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: presides over the case. The post was then deleted like
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: I said the damnat. Yeah they did, they did. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: that's what they're saying. The post that's the story continues
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: to say the posts are not likely to sit well
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: with Judge Jackson, who last week and post a gag
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: order on attorneys and parties to the case. He stupid
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: behind figures I can't talk out post. That's right, Yeah, exactly. Yeah.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: The last thing you want to do is an Yeah, Bryant,
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: see you know the problem Rogers. Right now, President Obama
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: what he's never been black? Yeah, so now he act
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: he just he just going on living his privileged life. Yeah,
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: because black people would know not to do that. Well, Judge, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: I don't say nothing over a spading ticket. I've been there. Hush. Yeah.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: So the crosshairs signed that means you're you're in my
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: line of fire. Yeah, yes, But is who he doing
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: that mean? Well, I know, but I'm just saying, yeah,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: that's crazy. You're an idiot. It is the world we
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: live in. Yeah. In case you don't remember, Roger Stone
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: was indicted on back in January. All I can what
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: what he just listen, y'all listen. Yeah, he's just so
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: glad not to be in something. You know what y'all
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: don't understand talk about. He's just so glad not to
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: be in We are not, I repeat, not going to

- 1:21:03Speaker 1: you know that about us, You know me and Timmy.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: You don't know how many arguments we have about you
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: when you ain't that. Oh, shut a lady up in
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: the club, Steve own. She yelled out some ignorant stuff
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: and I lit it up, and like you, first it
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: was a lot of cussing. There was a lot of cousins. Yeah,
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: that's where my check comes from. And then it was
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: more cussing. We squashed off. Yeah, we don't allow that
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: to see know, but the fact you got the head
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: they and they know it. They call you with it. Hey,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: what's up with your boss? I see your boy? Yeah,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: but I don't like the fact that you feel like
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: just because you know me, you can call me and
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: ask me about my job. But my boss, Yeah, I
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: don't call it about I did. I don't. I did.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: I talked to Harry on them frast happening over that.

- 1:22:15Speaker 1: We are Yeah, we already too. It's rehashing. As far
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: as we're concerned, we've been over it, we've discussed it.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: We're done. I see they got your boy. Where your
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: boy it? Man? You got your boy? Yeah, yes, yeah,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: it's a smark on their face. It's a smirk on
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: their face. And I always say, well, he's still winning.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: Though he's still winning. This is the twentieth time. Yes,
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: he he ain't lost. You did. It's a way it
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: sit down because we exhausted. Yeah, we did it, but
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: we got We know that, we get it, wet it
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: many and I appreciate it to you know, is the
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: thing that always keeps me in peace. First of all,

- 1:23:15Speaker 1: Isaiah fifty four seventeen. All day, no were performed against me.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: I don't care who plots a wicked scheme. I don't
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: care how they thirty seconds sound bite me. I don't
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: care how they do it. It's not going to work. Now,
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: it's gonna be uncomfortable, it's gonna get a little hot,
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: But I'm I'm but I'm gonna come through just fine.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: As as as he's always done and he always this
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: always happens when God is fitting to do something that's right,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: because the devil getting mad man the devil case that
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: he see what God hapened to do for you, and
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: here he comes trying to shut you down, and that

- 1:23:57Speaker 1: love and supporting me. Something Lord baby, welcome to our struggles. Steve.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: All right, listen, we'll be back with show you're listening to.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: All right, this story is great. I love this story.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: I love stories like this. A couple who bought tickets
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: to see Dave Chappelle and Valentine's Day. We're very disappointed
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: to find out that the tickets they bought were fakes,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: but Dave Chappelle made it up to them, and then
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: some check this out. Their names are Dedre and Eddie Dickens.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: There from North Carolina. From Charlotte, North Carolina. They're huge
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: fans of Dave Chappelle's They bought the tickets on Craigslist,
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: even paying more to get a wheelchair accessible seat for Eddie,
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: but the sellers scammed them out of five hundred dollars,
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: then cut off community location with them, and uh so,
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: the couple just said forget it. We're just gonna make
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: the best of Valentine's Day. And they just went on
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: out to dinner with their friends, and that's when Dave
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: Chappelle came to dinner. He made a surprise appearance at dinner.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: He hand delivered the real tickets to them. He joked
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: and said, always get your tickets from reliable sources. And
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: then and then he sat down. He chatted with them
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: before the show. Uh, he posed for pictures with them.
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: He said that, uh, I mean, he just couldn't have
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: been nicer. This is great, and he said it felt good.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: Chappelle says, you know, it's just good to be kind.
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: It felt like I just got to make something that
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: was wrong, right, And he says, take any opportunity that's
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: presented to you to be kind, especially if it's something
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: easy to do. I love that. I really love that. Yeah,
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: he's yeah, yeah, yeah, you got something going on like that. Well,
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: yeah I do. I an't want to say that because
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: you know, me and Chappelle thought about this at the
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: same time. I said, well, I was doing the same thing.
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: I mean, me and walmarted family mobile. We are bringing
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: some guests to Uncle Steve show. Tomorrow, but excuse me
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: today for the taping. You know I'm doing that, and
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: I'm taking them to lunch, you know, so it's kind
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: of like Chappelle right after the first show. Yes, sir,
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: you're gonna go right to lunch. But you know, you
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: know I'm doing that. I mean, it ain't like Chappelle show.
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: It's Uncle Steve show. Yeah, yeah, it's really quite different. Yeah.
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: So you you you think they're gonna want to take
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: a picture with you or would you have them take
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: a picture with Steve? Well, they probably don't want to
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: take the picture with Uncle Steve. The point is they
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: need me to get you. Then I'm gonna take him
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: up there and knock on your dough. But is he
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: gonna answer? That's a different story. And man, the reputation.
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: I've been knocking on doors, open door because my dressing
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: room one time a day. That's it, Junior. How many
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: doors my my dressing room got in it? But he
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: could be in anyone, so I could take Why don't
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: Shirley Nelm know that? Because they don't ever come see me.
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: That's why hello invited And then I don't ever invite
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: you know where time because I know you're not coming.
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: I'm talking about the girls. The Monica brings herself up there,
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: but she stayed down there by the craft table on
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: your show. Always down there, old nights. I like these crumpets. Well,
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: we won't talk about the time we came up there
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: and we couldn't tape and stuff. We won't talk about
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: that time I came up and couldn't take Remember that
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: we had to wait because you had a court date.
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: You had a court date. I don't do that. Well,
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: I don't bring up cod Rogers, don't. But he ain't
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: even offend it though. Yeah, day what it was for? Yeah, okay,
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: we're coming. I got that show. I got that. All right,
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: all right, we'll be back with more of a Steve
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening to show. Well, yesterday, guys,
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: was President's Day. President Trump is defending his declaration of
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: a national emergency at the US Mexican border. This was
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: the calmest national emergency call I've ever heard. Uh, In
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: case you missed it, Trump said the US is confronting
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: a national security crisis. At the White House even on
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: event on Friday, and then he went to play golf. Okay,
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: so about to head his wall about to pop off.
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: Get out here and get this, and I'm gonna play golf.
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: Then I'm gonna eat something. They're gonna eat again again. Yeah.
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: Let me let this be known. The President's Day that
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: I celebrated yesterday was the Barock side. That's why I'm yes, yes, okay.
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: Somebody somebody sits something out, just says I celebrate Presidents Day.
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: Where we get we get one? Right now? We don't. Yeah, Anyway,
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: mister Trump cited an invasion of US by illegal immigrants
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: and warned about the flow of illicit drugs along the
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: southern border. Under the emergency declaration, Trump plans to divert
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: Defense Department funds to build the wall. A number of
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: Democrats calling are calling his declaration an illegal thing, and
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: he is trying to go around Congress. Also, in other
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: related news, President Trump is not giving up on the
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: Nobel Peace Prize. He thinks he should win, but he
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: thinks they should win. Yeah, and he's getting ready to
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: set up another You get a piece of pie? Why
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: would why would he get that? Well, he thinks he
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: should win it. Steve for at least trying to denuclearize
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: North Korea. Wow, you seven Muslim countries from traveling here.
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: You on on a wall, but I think Nobel Peace
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: Prize man. Well, you know, the Japanese Prime Minister wrote
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: this five page letter. But what he's not saying is
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: that they're saying that the White House requested the letter.
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: So Prime Minister wrote this letter as part of like this,
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: it's no prodomination process. Jay, We've had enough. I hear you, Jay,
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: morning we have. It's no Problemise you let him out.
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: Punished press, punished press, still use punished press. No called
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: us mail the post off. I don't know about. We're
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: so confused with this. I don't know you're gonna. I'm
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: just because it's such a huge story. They want to
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: know the truth. Jesse on ABC on a Good Morning
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: America with Robin Robert said, why would someone make something
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: like this up? So anyway, yeah, all right, thank you.
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: We will be back with closing remarks from the one
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey right after this. You're listening to
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: Morning show. All right here we are, last break of
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: the day. It was a good day. We had fun today,
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: Steve um always what is so funny? You guys? I'm
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: sorry they just say, okay, good all right? Yeah, like
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: like yeah, if we're not gonna tell the whole class, right,
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: then we're not gonna talk about it, all right. Come on,
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: I let the teacher come up and leave us with
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: some closing remarks. You know what um as I as
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: I deal with oh, life's challenges, I try to always
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: learn from them, And so I want to talk about
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: situations that beset you. You know, sometimes you get blindsided
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: by sometimes you just don't see it coming, and just
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: stuff just comes up. It just crops up in the
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: middle of your day and all of a sudden, you know,
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: thunderstorm on the horizon, earthquakes come without warning. You know,
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: a lot of stuff. You know, you just deal with.
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: It's just life, right, And sometimes man, I get down
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: because sometimes the stuff that's happening in your life it just,
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: I mean, it gets you down. We're all human. Everybody
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: has down days, everybody has things that's troubling to them.
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: And what I've learned is this, on particularly rough days,
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: when I'm sure that I can't possibly endure it, I
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: like to remind myself that my track record for getting
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: through bad days so far is one hundred percent. Did
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: you hear me on particularly rough days. When I'm sure,
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: when I'm absolutely positive that I'm not gonna get through
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: this one, that I won't endure this one, I just
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: like to stop and remind myself that my track record
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: for getting through bad days so far is one hundred percent.
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: And that's pretty good, because you know what, if you
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: look back on it, all the bad days you've ever had,
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: the ones where it seemed unbearable, your track a record
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: for getting through the bad days so far as one
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: hundred percent, and now one of them stopped you yet.
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: And then it reminds me of how life works, because
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: I often know that whenever the devil attacks me, whenever
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: I come under attack from Satan, because I don't really
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: wear about people, because you know, if you really understand it,
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: if you really have faith, you understand that the struggle
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: that most of us are in is not against flesh
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: and blood, because you know, but it's against rulers. It's
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: against authorities, the powers of the dark world. If you
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: look at the Internet, man, it's nobody that you're attacking.
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: You're just dealing with a system that's set up for
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: the devil's imps to come and do work. So you
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: don't worry about the flesh and blood part of it.
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: You may be in a battle that's something even bigger
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: than that. But I'm gonna tell you what I know. Though,
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: If you saw the size of the blessing coming your way,
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: then you don't understand the magnitude of the battle that
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: you got to fight. I keep remembering that because every
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: time God is about to do something great for me,
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: the devil is aware of it. And the devil's job
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: is to throw you off course. The devil's job is
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: to discourage you. It's to cause you not to be
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: able to see the blessings. The devil one job is
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: to defeat you, is to make you think that you
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: ain't gonna make it. The devil's one job is to
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: bring about negativity. He never brings you good news. The
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: devil's job is to wreak havoc in your life. That's
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: his only mission. He only has one. And when you
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: see him at work on you like that. No, God
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: got something for you. God always has something for you. Now,
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna read something to you that somebody sent to
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: me this weekend, and it says anything that annoys you
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: is teaching you patience. Anyone who abandons you is teaching
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: you how to stand up on your own two feet.
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: Anything that angers you is teaching you forgiveness and compassion.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: Anything that has power over you is teaching you how
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: to take your power back. Anything you hate is teaching
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: you unconditioned no love. Anything you fear is teaching you
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: courage to overcome your fear. And anything you can't control
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: is teaching you how to let go. Somebody sent that
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: to me this weekend. I like that last week. Anything
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: you can't control is teaching you how to let go.
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: When something has happened to you out there and you
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: have no control over it, let it go. It's hard
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: to fight an enemy and you don't know where it's
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: coming from. You don't know the source of it. It's
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: hard to fight something that you don't know even why
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: it's happening. You know, don't be so tripped out with
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: responding to what somebody's saying about you out here, especially
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: on these social media sites and stuff. If you look
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: at these people up, they got six followers, most of
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: them private page. I have a new name for them.
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: They call thumb gangsters. Call them through them gangster. Y'all,
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: hold on to your God. If you saw the size
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: of the blessings coming your way, you'd understand the magnitude
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: of the battle you fight. And like I said in
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: the beginning, on those particular rough days when I just
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: know I can't possibly in due, I remind myself to
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: my track record for getting through bad days so far
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: is one hundred percent. And that's pretty good. And guess what,
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: you got the same track record that I got for
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: getting through bad days. All of y'all that made one
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: hundred percent of getting through bad days. So what you're
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: tripping because you're having another that's it for me today,
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: dropping baby Yeah, y'all have a great weekend for all.
