SCOTUS Greenlights Trump's Transgender Military Ban plus ICE's Aggressive Enforcement in Sanctuary Cities · The Ben Ferguson Podcast

0:01
Speaker 1: We are going to start with some breaking news, and
0:03
Speaker 1: that is the Supreme Court has stayed a lower court ruling.
0:08
Speaker 1: What does that mean. It means it allows Donald Trump's
0:12
Speaker 1: transgender ban to proceed when it comes to military service. Now,
0:19
Speaker 1: the Supreme Court siding with the Trump administration and lifting a.
0:23
Speaker 2: Lower court order that had paused the.
0:27
Speaker 1: Pentagon's transgender military ban from taking effect, allowing Trump's order
0:33
Speaker 1: and related policies to now proceed, at least for the
0:38
Speaker 1: time being.
0:39
Speaker 2: The High court ruling is a near.
0:42
Speaker 1: Term victory for the White House, even as it did
0:46
Speaker 1: not address the underlying merits of the case or President
0:50
Speaker 1: Donald Trump's January the twenty seventh executive order. Now, that
0:55
Speaker 1: executive order is clearly what.
0:57
Speaker 2: Was in play here.
0:59
Speaker 1: That executive order was banning transgender service members from the
1:03
Speaker 1: US military. Just as at saughta my Or Alana Kagan KEANJ.
1:09
Speaker 1: Brown Jackson would have denied the administration's appeal and kept
1:13
Speaker 1: the lower court injunction in place. At issue in the
1:16
Speaker 1: suit was Shilling versus the United States.
1:19
Speaker 2: Is Trump's executive.
1:20
Speaker 1: Order banning transgender military members, something the last administration was
1:25
Speaker 1: absolutely obsessed with having a military that was an experiment
1:29
Speaker 1: in life, instead of having a fighting force that was
1:32
Speaker 1: ready to protect all of us around the world and
1:35
Speaker 1: risk their lives now. The Trump administration had argued that
1:40
Speaker 1: further stalling the policy would pose a threat to US
1:44
Speaker 1: military readiness, concerns that it outlined to the Supreme Court
1:48
Speaker 1: in their filing late last month.
1:51
Speaker 2: Let me tell you about Patriot Mobile real quick.
1:53
Speaker 1: If you've got a cell phone and your cell phone
1:56
Speaker 1: is not with Patriot Mobile, then the question I gotta
1:58
Speaker 1: ask you is why why have you not made the switch? Well,
2:03
Speaker 1: you should make the switch, and the deal is really easy.
2:07
Speaker 1: You get cutting edge technology. Switching has never been easier.
2:10
Speaker 1: There's no store visits, no hassles. You get to keep
2:13
Speaker 1: your same phone number you have right now. You get
2:15
Speaker 1: to keep your same phone you've got now or upgrade
2:18
Speaker 1: to a new one. And they have a one hundred
2:20
Speaker 1: percent US based team that can activate you literally in minutes.
2:24
Speaker 1: The other thing that I love about Patriot Mobile is
2:26
Speaker 1: this they have access to all three major networks, meaning
2:30
Speaker 1: you get exceptional nationwide coverage.
2:33
Speaker 2: I use Patriot Mobile and half for years.
2:36
Speaker 1: They can even put a second number on a different
2:39
Speaker 1: network on your phone. It's like carrying two phones in one.
2:43
Speaker 1: You can have a work number and a personal number.
2:46
Speaker 1: It's amazing. They have unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots, international roaming,
2:52
Speaker 1: internet on the go devices, and home internet backup as well.
2:56
Speaker 1: You can get all of this from Patriot Mobile. So
3:00
Speaker 1: why are you waiting? Make the switch today? And by
3:03
Speaker 1: the way, when you pay your bill, you know that
3:06
Speaker 1: about five percent of that bill every month is going
3:08
Speaker 1: back to support conservative causes.
3:11
Speaker 2: Causes that stand for our First or.
3:12
Speaker 1: Second Amendment rights, the rights of unborn children, and they
3:16
Speaker 1: stand with our veterans, our first responders, our police and firemen,
3:20
Speaker 1: are EMTs and are wounded warriors. So make a difference
3:23
Speaker 1: with every call you make. So right now, go to
3:26
Speaker 1: Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson or call them ninety seven
3:32
Speaker 1: to two Patriot. You're going to get a free month
3:35
Speaker 1: of service with the promo code ferguson. So switch to
3:37
Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile and make a difference with every call you make.
3:41
Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson or nine to seven
3:44
Speaker 1: to two Patriot.
3:46
Speaker 3: Now.
3:46
Speaker 2: The executive order, it was very simple.
3:48
Speaker 1: It just required the Defense Department to update it's guidance
3:52
Speaker 1: regarding the quote trends, identifying medical standards for military service,
3:57
Speaker 1: and also to resend guidance consistent with military readiness. This
4:01
Speaker 1: is all about having a force that is ready to
4:04
Speaker 1: protect and defend absince stay quote. The District Court's universal
4:09
Speaker 1: injunction will remain in place for the duration of further
4:13
Speaker 1: review in the Ninth Circuit and in this court, a
4:17
Speaker 1: period far too long for the military to be forced
4:20
Speaker 1: to maintain a policy that it has determined in its
4:24
Speaker 1: professional judgment to be contrary to military readiness and the
4:28
Speaker 1: nation's interests. That is what the US Solicitor General told
4:31
Speaker 1: the court, urging justices to grant the stay. Trump officials
4:36
Speaker 1: have argued that the transgender military policy furthers the government's
4:40
Speaker 1: important interests in military readiness, unit cohesion, good order and discipline,
4:46
Speaker 1: and avoiding disproportionate.
4:49
Speaker 2: Costs quote unquote.
4:51
Speaker 1: The case was obviously instantly challenged by the radical left
4:55
Speaker 1: in federal court. Seven transgender military members brought suit again
5:00
Speaker 1: administration in a liberal Seattle based federal court and in Washington,
5:05
Speaker 1: d C.
5:05
Speaker 2: Another liberal court, where.
5:08
Speaker 1: The US District judge grilled lawyers for the Trump administration
5:11
Speaker 1: in a dazzling line of questioning that invoked Shelters, Jesus
5:17
Speaker 1: and Miss pac Man, among other things. I wish I
5:20
Speaker 1: was joking, I'm not, before finally asking the government to
5:24
Speaker 1: push its plan implementation deadline. The decision was later overturned
5:29
Speaker 1: by the District US Circuit Court of Appeals. Again, liberals
5:33
Speaker 1: knew what they were doing here, They knew how they
5:35
Speaker 1: were going to fight this. They were more than happy
5:38
Speaker 1: to fight this anyway they could, and they went to
5:40
Speaker 1: liberal courts to do it.
5:42
Speaker 2: You look at the Seattle case.
5:43
Speaker 1: The planeffs there argued that the executive order must turn
5:47
Speaker 1: away quote unquote transgender military members and kick them out
5:52
Speaker 1: for no quote legitimate reason. Rather, it's baselessly declared all
5:57
Speaker 1: transgender people unfit to serve, insultsen, demeans them, and cruelly
6:02
Speaker 1: describes every one of them as incapable of an honorable, truthful,
6:07
Speaker 1: and discipline lifestyle, even if one's personal life based solely
6:12
Speaker 1: because they are transgendered. Their filing continued. The US District
6:17
Speaker 1: judge there issued a preliminary injunction in March that blocked
6:21
Speaker 1: the administration from identifying and removing transgendered service members.
6:25
Speaker 2: Of the suit worked its way through the lower courts.
6:28
Speaker 1: In his opinion granting the injunction, the judge characterized the
6:32
Speaker 1: band as quote, a blanket prohibition of transgender service setto
6:37
Speaker 1: found the plaintiffs would likely succeed on the merits of
6:40
Speaker 1: their equal protection, their First Amendment, and the procedural due
6:44
Speaker 1: process claims, among others. The judge said in the ruling,
6:48
Speaker 1: the government's arguments are not persuasive and it is not
6:52
Speaker 1: an especially closed question on this record. The judge wrote
6:56
Speaker 1: in his order that the injunction was to quote, maintain
6:59
Speaker 1: the status quo of the military policy regarding both active
7:03
Speaker 1: duty and perspective transgender service that were in place prior
7:08
Speaker 1: to Trump's January the twenty seventh executive order. The administration
7:12
Speaker 1: quickly appealed to the Ninth Circuit, requesting the appellate court
7:16
Speaker 1: stay the settles order of the other judge in Seattle.
7:20
Speaker 1: The administration argued in court filings that the policy furthers
7:25
Speaker 1: the government's important interest in military readiness, unit cohesion, good
7:30
Speaker 1: order and discipline, and avoiding disproportionate costs. The three judge panel,
7:35
Speaker 1: that were composed of some liberals, an Obama appointee a
7:40
Speaker 1: Biden appointee, all denied the administration's request to stay on
7:45
Speaker 1: March the thirty first, which was overturned now by the
7:48
Speaker 1: Supreme Court ruling that we have just told you about.
7:52
Speaker 1: This is obviously a very very contentious moment for the left.
7:59
Speaker 2: They wanted to win this.
8:00
Speaker 1: The Department of Justice has a quote vigorously defended President
8:04
Speaker 1: Trump's executive action, including the prioritizing Military Excellent and Readiness
8:09
Speaker 1: Executive Order, and will continue to do so, is what
8:12
Speaker 1: a Justice Department official told Fox News. Shilling versus United
8:17
Speaker 1: States is just one of several suits challenging the Trump
8:22
Speaker 1: administration's military ban. It comes as Trump is used, as
8:25
Speaker 1: early days in office to undo major biden Er radical policies,
8:31
Speaker 1: including their effort to promote a diversity, Equity and Inclusion
8:36
Speaker 1: or DEI agenda even in our military service, which Donald
8:41
Speaker 1: Trump said is a problem because it's not about military readiness. Now,
8:47
Speaker 1: if you look at all of this, and I know
8:49
Speaker 1: it's complicated, but I wanted you to understand, this is
8:52
Speaker 1: a massive victory for the president because what they're saying
8:57
Speaker 1: is Number One, we believe that you are, in fact
9:00
Speaker 1: the commander in chief. Number Two, we believe that your
9:03
Speaker 1: executive order is important. Number three. We also believe that
9:07
Speaker 1: military readiness is important. And it also goes back on
9:11
Speaker 1: this radical, woke left agenda item, which is everywhere that
9:15
Speaker 1: the Democrats could touch when it comes to diversity, equity,
9:18
Speaker 1: and inclusion, they were willing to experiment that included in
9:22
Speaker 1: our military. And what the argument from Trump was and
9:26
Speaker 1: his lawyers was real simple. The military is not the
9:29
Speaker 1: place for us to be doing woke ideological experiments.
9:35
Speaker 2: The military is a serious place.
9:37
Speaker 1: It is a place where you ask men and women
9:39
Speaker 1: to risk their lives and sand side by side with others. Now,
9:42
Speaker 1: there's also one other thing that's very interesting about this
9:46
Speaker 1: entire conversation we're having now, military recruitment. After Donald Trump
9:51
Speaker 1: was elected and after he appointed Pete Headset to be
9:54
Speaker 1: in charge of the DoD This is the part that
9:57
Speaker 1: I think is going to work to their avenge the most.
9:59
Speaker 2: It is skyrocket.
10:01
Speaker 1: People want to serve under two people that are not crazy,
10:05
Speaker 1: and that is having the man in charge, the DoD
10:08
Speaker 1: Headset in charge and the President of the United States
10:11
Speaker 1: of America being Donald Trump. If you want to know
10:13
Speaker 1: what the people in the military think about this, this.
10:16
Speaker 2: Is exactly what they think.
10:22
Speaker 1: There's also another controversy that we're finding out about in
10:25
Speaker 1: the military, and it's one that's been uncovered by some
10:28
Speaker 1: whistleblowers who are saying that the military, especially under the
10:32
Speaker 1: last administration, was destroying service members' lives by accidental paperwork
10:39
Speaker 1: that showed that people in the military had committed crimes
10:43
Speaker 1: but had never been arrested for the crimes, had actually
10:46
Speaker 1: never even been charged with the crimes.
10:48
Speaker 2: It's more of a paperwork problem.
10:50
Speaker 1: In fact, many people in the military don't even know
10:54
Speaker 1: they have a problem until they go for employment and
10:57
Speaker 1: then there's a background check done, and then it looks
11:01
Speaker 1: like they have in fact been committing crimes, that they
11:04
Speaker 1: are a felon, or that they've been arrested.
11:08
Speaker 2: This is another problem.
11:10
Speaker 1: Now in the last administration, there were many who were
11:12
Speaker 1: begging them to fix the problem within the department in
11:17
Speaker 1: the DoD to help protect so many of these soldiers
11:20
Speaker 1: that have been wrongfully accused of crimes. They didn't even
11:23
Speaker 1: know that they were accused of in the military, and
11:25
Speaker 1: again they had never been arrested. What it comes down
11:28
Speaker 1: to is a filing error, a paperwork error that is
11:33
Speaker 1: now altering and changing their lives forever. This story I'm
11:38
Speaker 1: about to tell you is that fight to get this changed,
11:42
Speaker 1: and I want you to hear about it so that
11:44
Speaker 1: others can hear about it, and that you'll share this
11:47
Speaker 1: on social media because this is long overdue to protect
11:50
Speaker 1: our men and women in uniform.
11:52
Speaker 2: Take a listen.
11:53
Speaker 4: These people were never charged, they were never arrested.
11:56
Speaker 5: There is an easy fix, there's an easy button in
12:00
Speaker 5: in this case, the President and or the Secretary of
12:03
Speaker 5: Defense have the absolute authority to order all branches of
12:08
Speaker 5: the military not to create criminal histories that are false
12:12
Speaker 5: and to correct every single criminal history that shows someone
12:17
Speaker 5: was arrested or received into custody when they weren't. They
12:21
Speaker 5: can do that by their inherent military authority as part
12:26
Speaker 5: of the national Command authority. They don't need a judge
12:30
Speaker 5: to tell them to do it. They don't need a
12:32
Speaker 5: court proceeding. They could solve this problem simply by picking.
12:37
Speaker 2: Up the phone.
12:39
Speaker 5: Our client, Denise Rosales, has served in the military for
12:43
Speaker 5: quite a number of years. While deployed, she was investigated
12:48
Speaker 5: for misconduct that triggered a series of events that ultimately
12:54
Speaker 5: led to her having a criminal history with the FBI
12:58
Speaker 5: that shows she was either arrested or received into custody,
13:03
Speaker 5: and the reality is neither one of those things happened
13:07
Speaker 5: for misr or Zealous. She was never arrested, she was
13:10
Speaker 5: never taken into custody. This false criminal history has followed
13:15
Speaker 5: her for many years now, and as we investigated more,
13:21
Speaker 5: we came to realize that this same problem of false
13:26
Speaker 5: criminal histories has plagued countless numbers of soldiers and veterans.
13:33
Speaker 4: This is affecting thousands of people, thousands of service members,
13:37
Speaker 4: thousands of veterans, many of whom don't even know that
13:40
Speaker 4: they have an issue. A lot of these people find
13:43
Speaker 4: out for the first time that there's some error that
13:47
Speaker 4: leading to this criminal record when they go to apply
13:50
Speaker 4: for a job, to go try to get a firearm,
13:53
Speaker 4: when they have some type of employee you know, background check.
13:57
Speaker 4: This is a systemic problem, and it really arises is
14:00
Speaker 4: from the Army using the wrong form and transmitting erroneous information.
14:05
Speaker 4: The Army agents are instructed to fill it out. They
14:08
Speaker 4: fill it out as best they can, which is to
14:11
Speaker 4: just make up information.
14:12
Speaker 2: They put it in there.
14:13
Speaker 4: It gets shipped off to the FBI, and there's nothing
14:16
Speaker 4: these soldiers can do about.
14:19
Speaker 5: I think I understand why Secretary Hegseth is so frustrated
14:24
Speaker 5: with the senior JAG officers because they've allowed this bureaucracy
14:29
Speaker 5: to perpetuate that only serves to harm soldiers. It makes
14:34
Speaker 5: no sense, especially in an error where there's lots of
14:38
Speaker 5: threats out in the world and recruiting needs to be boosted.
14:43
Speaker 5: Why would parents send their children to the military if
14:48
Speaker 5: they know our military is creating false criminal histories for
14:55
Speaker 5: no apparent good reason, and they're clinging to that. They
14:58
Speaker 5: refuse to budge from There's nothing logical about what the
15:02
Speaker 5: government's doing. They seem hell bent on punishing soldiers who
15:09
Speaker 5: have not done anything wrong in creating these false and
15:12
Speaker 5: illegal criminal histories.
15:15
Speaker 4: With the last administration, we got nowhere with them, and
15:19
Speaker 4: so for sus the file of the lawsuits, we're optimistic
15:23
Speaker 4: and hopeful that the new administration can step in and
15:26
Speaker 4: really just fix this problem.
15:28
Speaker 1: This isn't a very important story, and it's one where
15:32
Speaker 1: the government should have fixed this long time ago. And
15:35
Speaker 1: you can hear the people that we're talking in that
15:37
Speaker 1: story that no one knows about because the media doesn't
15:41
Speaker 1: actually want to stand up for these men and women
15:43
Speaker 1: in the military who gave it. There all and so
15:47
Speaker 1: what you just heard, I hope you will take and
15:50
Speaker 1: you will give it and put it out to the masses,
15:52
Speaker 1: because it's extremely important that we let people hear the
15:56
Speaker 1: story so that this administration understands, Hey, we're paying attention
15:59
Speaker 1: to this. This is important to us. This is something
16:02
Speaker 1: that must change. This is important that our men and
16:05
Speaker 1: women in military don't have to worry about this type
16:08
Speaker 1: of stuff happening to them and that no one's going
16:11
Speaker 1: to be there to help them out. This is again
16:15
Speaker 1: why I love doing this show, because I try to
16:18
Speaker 1: give you information that no one else is going to
16:21
Speaker 1: give you, and then we have to be good stewards
16:24
Speaker 1: of that info and fight and call our congressman and
16:27
Speaker 1: our senators and let people know what's happening right here.
16:31
Speaker 1: So I'll go out there and I'll say it again,
16:34
Speaker 1: Please use this to your advantage.
16:36
Speaker 2: Now, want to let.
16:37
Speaker 1: You know about something else that's very exciting that this
16:39
Speaker 1: is happening as we are doing this show in real time.
16:42
Speaker 1: We have just been told that Ed Martin has now
16:46
Speaker 1: gained GOP momentum as the US attorney for DC. We
16:51
Speaker 1: have just been told that John Cornyn, a Republican from Texas,
16:55
Speaker 1: and the Senate has given his support, and Josh Holly
16:59
Speaker 1: is now picting there will be a vote. This was
17:03
Speaker 1: a big story that the liberals were hoping the President
17:07
Speaker 1: wouldn't get his way.
17:09
Speaker 2: Donald Trump, nominated.
17:11
Speaker 1: For the US Attorney for the District of Columbia, gained
17:14
Speaker 1: critical momentum. Quote as Tom Tillis, Republican for North Carolina,
17:19
Speaker 1: said he opposed the nomination. Senator John Cornyn told reporters
17:24
Speaker 1: moments ago in the capital that he will.
17:27
Speaker 2: Support ed Martin.
17:28
Speaker 1: That's Trump's nominee for the critical position when or if
17:33
Speaker 1: he comes up for a vote, quote unquote, when he
17:36
Speaker 1: comes up for a vote, I intended support him, Corton said,
17:39
Speaker 1: adding I tend to defer to the President on his choices. Now,
17:44
Speaker 1: let me explain why Cornan's comments were so important. It
17:49
Speaker 1: wasn't immediately clear if Cornyan was referring to a vote
17:53
Speaker 1: in the Senate Judiciary Committee, of which he is a member, or.
17:56
Speaker 2: On the floor of the Senate.
17:58
Speaker 1: But the latter would require the form and that is
18:00
Speaker 1: a huge aboost to Martin's nomination. Cornan's commitment to support
18:05
Speaker 1: Martin is significant. It comes as Cordon is fending off
18:09
Speaker 1: and according to some polls behind a primary challenger from
18:14
Speaker 1: the Attorney General in Texas, Ken Paxton, Senator Cordon should
18:18
Speaker 1: build upon his support signal and help add across the
18:21
Speaker 1: finish line as a shirpup.
18:23
Speaker 2: A source close to the confirmation.
18:24
Speaker 1: Process has said saying, quote, Donald Trump is watching, and
18:28
Speaker 1: if John Cornyn wants to not have to worry about
18:31
Speaker 1: the President getting involved in this primary challenge, well then
18:35
Speaker 1: this may be a way to do that. Surpa is
18:37
Speaker 1: the informal term, by the way, for those assigned a
18:40
Speaker 1: guide nominees through the Senate confirmation process. Usually someone with
18:44
Speaker 1: personal relationships with a senator is who does it in
18:48
Speaker 1: this scenario. Now, Martin got even more momentum when Senator
18:51
Speaker 1: Josh Holly announced he expected Martin also to get confirmed,
18:55
Speaker 1: saying quote, I think we are going to get a vote,
18:58
Speaker 1: and he is going to pay. I just don't see
19:01
Speaker 1: how he doesn't, to be honest with you, Holly told
19:04
Speaker 1: several in a interview that he did earlier in the
19:07
Speaker 1: day with Steve Bannon on War Room podcasts. Quote, the
19:10
Speaker 1: President made it crystal clear publicly that Ed Martin is
19:14
Speaker 1: his top, top priority for him because the district of
19:16
Speaker 1: Columbia being safe is top top priority. And that's why
19:20
Speaker 1: this matters right now more than ever. Here is Holly
19:23
Speaker 1: in his own words.
19:24
Speaker 6: Oh, this is why I think we are going to
19:26
Speaker 6: get to a vote and he is going to pass.
19:27
Speaker 6: I just don't see how he doesn't, to be honest
19:29
Speaker 6: with you, Steve, because the President and you mentioned this
19:32
Speaker 6: last night. The President made it crystal clear publicly that
19:36
Speaker 6: Ed Martin is top top priority for him because the
19:38
Speaker 6: district of Columbia being safe is top top priority. I
19:42
Speaker 6: mean right now, you can't you know this as well
19:43
Speaker 6: as I do. You cannot go out on the streets
19:45
Speaker 6: in the district and not fear for your life. I've
19:47
Speaker 6: got staffers in my office literally who've been shot. I've
19:50
Speaker 6: got constituents. When they visit DC, they say, is it's
19:53
Speaker 6: safe for us? And I have to tell him, honestly,
19:55
Speaker 6: I don't know that it really is. This is our
19:57
Speaker 6: nation's capital. It ought to be the cleanest, it ought
19:59
Speaker 6: to be the safest.
20:00
Speaker 2: I'd be the best.
20:01
Speaker 6: Place to visit in our country because it represents what
20:03
Speaker 6: our country's about. And our own citizens can't come here
20:06
Speaker 6: without fear of their lives. It's ridiculous. We need a
20:09
Speaker 6: US attorney. He's going to go after the crime and
20:11
Speaker 6: clean up the city, especially in front of our two
20:14
Speaker 6: fifty celebration next year. Ed is the right guy to
20:17
Speaker 6: do that. He's the President's choice. And I would just
20:19
Speaker 6: say to my fellow Republicans on the committee and listen,
20:20
Speaker 6: I'm not saying anything to you. I haven't said to
20:22
Speaker 6: them privately personally.
20:24
Speaker 2: Give this guy a shot.
20:25
Speaker 6: Meet with him, talk to him about what he's going
20:27
Speaker 6: to do in the office, talk to the president. I
20:29
Speaker 6: think when that happens, he is going to pass the committee.
20:32
Speaker 2: I just don't see how he doesn't.
20:33
Speaker 1: Senator Josh Holly in his own words there, the Trump
20:38
Speaker 1: administration has it now say significant escalation immigration forcement targeting
20:44
Speaker 1: sanctuary cities, Tom Homan stating that if local jurisdictions continue
20:50
Speaker 1: to resist cooperation with federal immigration authorities, the federal government
20:55
Speaker 1: will respond by increasing the presence of ICE agents in
20:59
Speaker 1: these areas. Homan emphasized that sanctuary cities are quote going
21:04
Speaker 1: to get exactly what they don't want, more agents in
21:08
Speaker 1: their community, and Warren that ICE is prepared to double
21:12
Speaker 1: themand force if we have to to carry out the
21:16
Speaker 1: enforcement actions. Now, this intensified approach includes a focus on
21:21
Speaker 1: work site enforcement. The White House says home and indicated
21:25
Speaker 1: that if ICE agents are unable to make arrests in
21:28
Speaker 1: jails or on the streets due to local non cooperation
21:32
Speaker 1: with law enforcement in the court systems, then they will
21:35
Speaker 1: increase operations at workplaces.
21:38
Speaker 2: He stated, if we can't do it.
21:40
Speaker 1: In the streets, we're going to increase work site enforcement
21:44
Speaker 1: operations in those sanctuary cities, and we're going to flood
21:47
Speaker 1: work site enforcement operations. Now, these statements have sparked quote controversy.
21:53
Speaker 1: The media claims and immigration advocacy groups are fighting back,
21:58
Speaker 1: arguing that such aggressive enforcement tactics could quote strain community
22:03
Speaker 1: relations and lead to the targeting of non criminal undocumented immigrants.
22:10
Speaker 1: Now this comes as the media also freaked out saying
22:13
Speaker 1: that Donald Trump took all of the fun out of
22:16
Speaker 1: Cinco de Mayo. Why because many cities canceled or downplayed
22:20
Speaker 1: their Singo Demyo events for fear of ICE raids and deportations.
22:26
Speaker 1: Chicago residents and the president of their local community group
22:30
Speaker 1: said that people in the Hispanic community are quote very
22:34
Speaker 1: scared of gathering in public, with some even considering going
22:38
Speaker 1: back to Mexico on their own. By the way, that
22:40
Speaker 1: is absolutely what the Trump administration is saying they want
22:44
Speaker 1: to happen. Quote, our people are very scared. Honestly, they're
22:48
Speaker 1: saying they don't want to go to work. They have
22:50
Speaker 1: to go to work because they have to feed their families.
22:53
Speaker 1: So if they both were working, now one person is working.
22:57
Speaker 1: As to why they canceled the Singo DeMaio parade in
23:00
Speaker 1: Chicago's Little Village, which attracts up to three hundred thousand
23:04
Speaker 1: people annually, Escobar said that too many people are just afraid.
23:09
Speaker 1: How about the parade, how about the festivities? And they say, well,
23:13
Speaker 1: if we're scared to go to work, I don't think
23:15
Speaker 1: it's nothing to celebrate. So that took us to the
23:18
Speaker 1: decision over money. We all see this country as picking
23:22
Speaker 1: up people with no criminal records, he claims, which is
23:26
Speaker 1: actually not true. If you come to the United States
23:29
Speaker 1: of America illegally, you are a criminal. Back to the statement,
23:33
Speaker 1: and honestly, it's a horrible way we have seen in
23:36
Speaker 1: my last forty five years I've been living here in
23:39
Speaker 1: the US, nothing like it.
23:41
Speaker 2: And so let's just be clear, this is.
23:43
Speaker 1: Exactly what the president of the United States of America
23:46
Speaker 1: wanted he wanted illegal immigrants to not feel safe staying
23:50
Speaker 1: in the US. He wanted them to be looking over
23:52
Speaker 1: his shoulder and is hoping that many will be deporting themselves,
23:57
Speaker 1: whether it's Chicago or Philadelphia, many other cities.
24:01
Speaker 2: Even in Oregon.
24:02
Speaker 1: The Latino Fests was also canceled there as the executive
24:06
Speaker 1: director of the Latino Community Association said there's just too
24:09
Speaker 1: much fear among illegal immigrants or has he described them
24:12
Speaker 1: migrants of being identified or detained simply for participating in
24:17
Speaker 1: our cultural celebrations of Cinco de Mayo. Democrats are also
24:22
Speaker 1: blaming Donald Trump for the quote economic impact, saying the
24:26
Speaker 1: cancelations have had significant economic repercussions. In Chicago, the Chamber
24:32
Speaker 1: of Commerce put out a statement estimating a loss of
24:35
Speaker 1: approximately one point five million in direct income for the
24:39
Speaker 1: city in between five and six million for local businesses
24:42
Speaker 1: due to the parades cancelation on Cinco de Mayo. Now,
24:46
Speaker 1: all of this complaining comes at a time whether a
24:49
Speaker 1: shocking video has come out showing illegal immigrants attacking police
24:54
Speaker 1: officers in New York. Tom Homan sitting down with Laura
24:58
Speaker 1: Ingram on Fox talking about this attack on these police officers,
25:03
Speaker 1: and it's planned to flood ice workforce in sanctuary cities.
25:08
Speaker 3: Take a listen, law enforcement officer, you're much more dangerous
25:11
Speaker 3: to an unarmed civilian.
25:13
Speaker 7: Oh no, they'll have a knife at your throat in
25:14
Speaker 7: two seconds. What's your message to those three illegals? I
25:18
Speaker 7: hate the word migrant, by the way, I don't even
25:20
Speaker 7: want to use it. They are illegal aliens, Okay, that's
25:22
Speaker 7: what they are, The three of them who are still
25:26
Speaker 7: on the loose. Your message to them tonight.
25:29
Speaker 3: We're coming for them. And these are the type I'm
25:31
Speaker 3: want to explain something. These are the type of people
25:33
Speaker 3: the AOC rags. Why I'm educating people to their constitution
25:38
Speaker 3: of rights. We all know what she's doing. She's educating
25:41
Speaker 3: illegal alien criminals how to invade law enforcement. But no,
25:44
Speaker 3: now I'm gonna do a little education myself. You don't
25:47
Speaker 3: want to open the door, You don't want to answer
25:49
Speaker 3: a question. You don't you want to help us with
25:50
Speaker 3: a travel doctrine to get you removed. That's a violation
25:53
Speaker 3: of the Title A United States Code twelve fifty three.
25:56
Speaker 3: It is a crime, and we're going to start prosecuting
25:59
Speaker 3: those crimes tomorrow. So if you've got a fine order
26:02
Speaker 3: and you want to hinder your removal, you want to
26:04
Speaker 3: put roadblocks up and not cooperate, you want to hide,
26:07
Speaker 3: you want to not open the door, then Nation's gonna
26:09
Speaker 3: start prosecuting you criminally. Then after you get out of
26:12
Speaker 3: jail from that prosecution, then we'll deport you.
26:14
Speaker 2: Game's over.
26:15
Speaker 3: We're going to look for these public safety threats and
26:18
Speaker 3: we're going to take them off those streets in New
26:20
Speaker 3: York and every other Sanctuarius city, a matter of fact,
26:21
Speaker 3: every singorious theority city. We're going to triple the workforce.
26:25
Speaker 3: We're gonna flood the zone with officers. If we can't
26:28
Speaker 3: wrestle in the jail, we'll wrestling in the community. If
26:30
Speaker 3: we can arrest me in the community or arrest me
26:32
Speaker 3: at the work site, We're going to triple work site
26:34
Speaker 3: enforcement operations.
26:36
Speaker 2: We're going to flood the zone.
26:37
Speaker 3: We're going to take these public safety threats off the streets.
26:39
Speaker 2: With your help or without your help. One thanks for sure.
26:43
Speaker 1: Law and order is back, and the President United States
26:45
Speaker 1: of America is encouraging all of those impositions of power
26:49
Speaker 1: around him to do the will of the people, which
26:52
Speaker 1: is to get rid of the legal immigrants in this country. Now,
26:55
Speaker 1: Tom Homan wasn't done there either. There's another controversy, and
27:00
Speaker 1: that is with AOC. AOC is doing everything she can
27:05
Speaker 1: to help illegal immigrants stay in the US. They're even
27:09
Speaker 1: doing seminars where they teach illegal immigrants how to exploit
27:13
Speaker 1: the system, or fight back, or get a lawyer and
27:17
Speaker 1: work to stay in the United States of America for
27:19
Speaker 1: a longer period of time. Tom Homan made it very
27:23
Speaker 1: clear that that is not what a congress person's job is.
27:27
Speaker 1: And if you were helping criminals evade arrest, is it
27:31
Speaker 1: against the law. Well, tom Homan was asked about that
27:34
Speaker 1: in AOC's comments.
27:36
Speaker 7: Take a listen now, speaking of AOC, Tom, she actually
27:40
Speaker 7: mentioned you in a town hall last week.
27:43
Speaker 8: Watch when we first did one of these seminars, Tom Homan,
27:47
Speaker 8: then acting Director of ICE, said that he was going
27:50
Speaker 8: to threaten to refer me to the DOJ because I'm
27:54
Speaker 8: using my free speech rights in order to advise people
27:58
Speaker 8: of their constitutionally guaranteed protections. And he may want to
28:02
Speaker 8: do it again today.
28:03
Speaker 2: And so that I say, come for.
28:05
Speaker 7: Me, Tom, come for me, She said, I take pleasure.
28:09
Speaker 3: I can live with her mind rent free every day.
28:11
Speaker 3: But we all know exactly what she's doing. Like I
28:13
Speaker 3: just said, she's educating the worst of the worst, how
28:17
Speaker 3: we invade law enforcement for the tables have now turned.
28:20
Speaker 3: She's educating people how to get prosecuted. Because you have
28:24
Speaker 3: a final order, it is illegal to not comply with
28:28
Speaker 3: that order. It's a crime to take steps to not
28:35
Speaker 3: comply with ICE removal orders or not comply with ICE
28:37
Speaker 3: actions take you in custody. You can't hinder your own
28:41
Speaker 3: removal that was ordered by the federal judge. All like
28:44
Speaker 3: aoc to read Title eight and I say it's called
28:46
Speaker 3: twelve fifty three because it's starting tomorrow.
28:49
Speaker 1: One thing is for sure, the Democratic Party is not
28:52
Speaker 1: going to abandon illegal immigrants. In fact, they're doubling down
28:56
Speaker 1: trying to keep them safe and to be able to
28:58
Speaker 1: stay in this country, hope that they can give them
29:01
Speaker 1: amnesty down the road. And what is President Trump's response
29:05
Speaker 1: the deployment of military forces to the southern border, the
29:08
Speaker 1: expansion of detention facilities, incentivizing voluntary departures, which we spoke
29:14
Speaker 1: about yesterday, and the legal challenges to enforcement measures put
29:18
Speaker 1: in by the left. There's also a fight with Mexico
29:23
Speaker 1: and making sure that President Trump stands up to Mexico
29:27
Speaker 1: to combat the cartels, as well as making sure that
29:30
Speaker 1: the fetanyl is not coming across the southern border. So
29:33
Speaker 1: at this point, Americans have decide whose side are we on.
29:37
Speaker 1: Are you going to stand with the illegal immigrants and
29:39
Speaker 1: the MS thirteen gang members, or are you going to
29:42
Speaker 1: stand with the president units it's America that says he's
29:44
Speaker 1: going to put Americans first instead of last. One thing
29:49
Speaker 1: that is very clear is the President United States of
29:51
Speaker 1: America has said that he's listening to the people and
29:56
Speaker 1: stopping at nothing to go after those that are in
29:59
Speaker 1: this country illegally. Make sure you share this podcast with
30:03
Speaker 1: your family and friends, put it up on social media
30:05
Speaker 1: wherever you are, and we appreciate you listening every day.
30:09
Speaker 2: We'll see you back here tomorrow.
