- 1:31Speaker 5: Can you have to turn the mouse to turn?
- 1:43Speaker 4: You probably got to turn the mouth, turn out the
- 1:47Speaker 4: word the money up.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on you, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, Come on dig me now.
- 2:09Speaker 1: One and only Steve Harley got a radio show today.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I want to just share something with you along your
- 2:20Speaker 1: way to wherever it is you're trying to get to.
- 2:25Speaker 1: You know, everybody has a different definition for success, and
- 2:30Speaker 1: I'm not here to tell you what yours should be.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I mean, please pursue whatever you think success is. Aim
- 2:37Speaker 1: as high as you can though, that's for sure. My
- 2:42Speaker 1: father used to say all the time. I'm sure you
- 2:44Speaker 1: all have heard it in different variations, but he used
- 2:46Speaker 1: to always say, aim for the moon. Just in case
- 2:50Speaker 1: you miss, you'll still be amongst the stars. Just say
- 2:53Speaker 1: that to me all the time. So that always was
- 2:56Speaker 1: in me to aim high. Now he wasn't saying aim
- 3:01Speaker 1: with the intent to miss. He was just saying aim
- 3:06Speaker 1: in case you miss, you'll steal me amongst the stars
- 3:10Speaker 1: if you aim for the moon. But if you just
- 3:12Speaker 1: aim for that first flow window and you miss it,
- 3:16Speaker 1: you know, usually run into some type of wall and
- 3:19Speaker 1: nothing happens. You slither down.
- 3:22Speaker 2: You know.
- 3:22Speaker 1: In my book, act like a lady, think like a man.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I told her people that me in love three ways.
- 3:27Speaker 1: They profess, they provide, they protect, and that's the core
- 3:31Speaker 1: essence of a man's love. Well, there's some other PE's
- 3:35Speaker 1: in life too. The number one thing you have to
- 3:39Speaker 1: understand about trying to be successful, and I guess I'll
- 3:45Speaker 1: call this the four p's. I may come up with
- 3:47Speaker 1: five along the way. I don't know. I'm just talking
- 3:50Speaker 1: as it's given to me. So I'm gonna summer start
- 3:53Speaker 1: by saying that these are the four PE's of success
- 3:58Speaker 1: that you have to get ready for it. Number one
- 4:01Speaker 1: is pressure. A lot of it is applied by the
- 4:05Speaker 1: circumstance of what you're trying to go for and what
- 4:08Speaker 1: you're trying to do, but a lot of it also
- 4:13Speaker 1: is self imposed pressure. It's what you put on yourself
- 4:17Speaker 1: to make it. It's a sense of urgency, it's a
- 4:23Speaker 1: sense of necessity. But pressure is the first thing I
- 4:29Speaker 1: want you to be ready for. And pressure comes in
- 4:31Speaker 1: a lot of different forms, but it's going to be pressured.
- 4:34Speaker 1: As an old saying that pressure buster to pipe. See,
- 4:37Speaker 1: that's why most people turn around because of the pressure
- 4:40Speaker 1: of trying to be successful. I want you to get
- 4:43Speaker 1: it in your mind that it is going to be
- 4:46Speaker 1: a pressureize situation on your rise to the top. Pressure,
- 4:52Speaker 1: but understand that that is what it is. Is not
- 4:55Speaker 1: going to change. That's it. Prepare yourself, get ready for
- 5:00Speaker 1: there to be pressure. The second thing I want you
- 5:05Speaker 1: to understand is when you receive this pressure, you have
- 5:09Speaker 1: to persist. You got to stay at it. You got
- 5:14Speaker 1: to develop a dog illness.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Hez A.
- 5:20Speaker 1: There's a song that says, why must I feel like that?
- 5:26Speaker 1: Why must I chase the cat? Nothing but the dog
- 5:31Speaker 1: in me? That's a funny line in that song because
- 5:35Speaker 1: really I was thinking about it one day. I was
- 5:37Speaker 1: humming it and and it occurred to me, said, why
- 5:42Speaker 1: must I feel like that? Why must I chase the cat?
- 5:47Speaker 1: Nothing but the dog in me? And you know, now
- 5:51Speaker 1: you could take it in the literal sense that a
- 5:53Speaker 1: cat chases the dog, because it's innately, it's in his
- 5:57Speaker 1: spirit that cats and dogs are a lot of times enemies.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Now people have pets in him proven that if you
- 6:03Speaker 1: show love on both sides, they can exist. And that
- 6:06Speaker 1: happens too but naturally innately, when your cat goes by
- 6:11Speaker 1: a dog and your dog don't recognize him, there's some
- 6:13Speaker 1: barking going on. I'm talking about just walking through the
- 6:16Speaker 1: neighborhood or something. So but the reason that this dog
- 6:22Speaker 1: is so persistent towards this cat's just cause it's in him.
- 6:28Speaker 1: It's innately in him. And what I'm saying to you,
- 6:33Speaker 1: just using that as an analogy, is that you got
- 6:37Speaker 1: to be you got to be persistent in that. You
- 6:43Speaker 1: got to develop some dog in you now, because pressure
- 6:47Speaker 1: takes some fighting back. See if you don't fight back
- 6:50Speaker 1: against pressure, pressure buster pipe, So what you think it'll
- 6:53Speaker 1: do to you? Pressure crack walls, pressure calls explosions. So
- 6:58Speaker 1: if you don't fight back to hold it in, you
- 7:02Speaker 1: understand pressure does most people in the simple thing called pressure,
- 7:08Speaker 1: the weight of what it feels like to want to
- 7:11Speaker 1: be successful every single day.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Over and over and over and over and over.
- 7:16Speaker 1: It's just too much pressure. People crack. You got to persist,
- 7:21Speaker 1: You have to persist.
- 7:23Speaker 5: You can.
- 7:24Speaker 1: The thought of giving up can come, but you got
- 7:26Speaker 1: to get it out. You got to persist. The next
- 7:32Speaker 1: thing I want you to think about is another something
- 7:36Speaker 1: that I've been thinking about for years and learned for years.
- 7:39Speaker 1: It's called perseverance. To persist means to insist, a keyword
- 7:47Speaker 1: in incest, and persistence insists you must. You must insist
- 7:52Speaker 1: that this is going to happen. Now, the persist I'm
- 7:55Speaker 1: assuming means it's a proaction. It's some type of proaction
- 7:59Speaker 1: that you go towards it to make it. You know, persist,
- 8:03Speaker 1: You gotta be persistent. You gotta be constantly at it,
- 8:06Speaker 1: insisting that it happens. You gotta be constantly at it.
- 8:10Speaker 1: But the next thing I want you to remember is perseverance.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Perseverance is important. Perseverance means that when you've done your best,
- 8:20Speaker 1: when you've persisted, when you're fighting back against the pressure.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Perseverance simply means I'm going to hang in here. If
- 8:31Speaker 1: a crack come into pipe, I'm gonna hang in there.
- 8:34Speaker 1: If the pipe bust, I'm gonna keep going. If I
- 8:38Speaker 1: gotta put duct, take mud, whatever I got to.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Put on this thing.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Man, I'm gonna use perseverance. I'm going to stay with
- 8:48Speaker 1: it no matter what. So we're looking at the three
- 8:51Speaker 1: things again. You got to understand that it's gonna be
- 8:55Speaker 1: pressure that you're gonna have to persist. Keyword in persistence
- 8:59Speaker 1: in says you have to insist that no matter what
- 9:02Speaker 1: the pressure is, I'm gonna stay with it. But then perseverance.
- 9:06Speaker 1: If it goes wrong, Man, you got to get in
- 9:10Speaker 1: there and keep fighting. But then, Lord have mercy. Nothing
- 9:15Speaker 1: helps you handle the three peas better than the fourth
- 9:18Speaker 1: p You got to pray. You got to use prayer.
- 9:22Speaker 1: You got to talk to God. You gotta use faith.
- 9:25Speaker 2: You gotta have some.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Conferences with him late at night, early in the morning,
- 9:30Speaker 1: in the middle of the afternoon, when you're on the train,
- 9:33Speaker 1: when you're driving. You got to talk to God. Man,
- 9:36Speaker 1: you got to get yourself some help along the way.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Nothing is bigger than prayer. There is nothing bigger than prayer.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Prayer will help you overcome the pressure. Prayer will help
- 9:46Speaker 1: you stay persistent, and Lord have mercy. Prayer will help
- 9:49Speaker 1: you persevere. Then, mister faux pease, God gave that to me.
- 9:56Speaker 1: I'm passing it on show. Ladies and gentlemen, Let me,
- 10:03Speaker 1: have you undivided attention today as a special day. I
- 10:07Speaker 1: woke up this morning. Let me just tell it to
- 10:09Speaker 1: you filled with nothing but gratitude. I'm gonna be honest
- 10:15Speaker 1: with you. I normally sit on the edge of my
- 10:16Speaker 1: bed and I tell God, thank you for waking me
- 10:18Speaker 1: up this morning. I dropped down on my knees this
- 10:21Speaker 1: morning because I couldn't believe that the Lord got Almighty
- 10:24Speaker 1: to let me see another trip round the sun. I
- 10:28Speaker 1: can't even tell you how grateful I am today. I
- 10:32Speaker 1: don't have nothing in me except gratitude. I ain't look,
- 10:37Speaker 1: I ain't picked up my phone, I ain't did nothing.
- 10:41Speaker 1: You know, a couple people in text me, you know,
- 10:44Speaker 1: happy birthday. But man, let me tell you something. The
- 10:47Speaker 1: reason I normally take my birthday off, but today I
- 10:51Speaker 1: came to work today because I owe God everything. And
- 10:56Speaker 1: I thought the best way to celebrate my birthday this
- 10:58Speaker 1: year was come on this radio show and tell everybody
- 11:04Speaker 1: who is willing to listen to me that there's no
- 11:08Speaker 1: relationship you can have that's better than your relationship with
- 11:13Speaker 1: the Lord, because that's the one relationship that don't falter,
- 11:18Speaker 1: waiver shift unless you do it. Don't waiver shift change.
- 11:26Speaker 1: He the same, He always down. You ain't got to
- 11:29Speaker 1: look for him. He always on time. He had ever
- 11:33Speaker 1: been late, he'd have taught me so much stuff this year.
- 11:35Speaker 1: I just came on this show this morning on my
- 11:38Speaker 1: birthday to say, man, happy birthday. Tell me because I'm
- 11:44Speaker 1: so glad I know the Lord, and I'm even more
- 11:47Speaker 1: happy that he know me, because God dug well would

- 15:13Speaker 2: I'm giving you a call. There is a possibility and
- 15:17Speaker 2: I'm going to trying to get the particulars with you.
- 15:20Speaker 2: You have two sons? Do you have a one in? Okay? Uh,
- 15:25Speaker 2: there's reason to believe that there is some narcotics going
- 15:28Speaker 2: on with these two gentlemen. Now, I wanted to speak
- 15:31Speaker 2: with you about it. My understanding that you're over the
- 15:33Speaker 2: crime watch actually in that particular area. Yes, and I
- 15:37Speaker 2: know that here lately there's been.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Camp Hello, Hello, hang on the phone, Go ahead.
- 15:46Speaker 2: It's my understanding. You guys have I know you've put
- 15:49Speaker 2: surveillance cameras up so you can actually get a general
- 15:52Speaker 2: area of what's going on. All right, Yes, okay, where
- 15:56Speaker 2: has it been within the last week, because what we've
- 15:59Speaker 2: done is we've put somebody on them and watch them
- 16:02Speaker 2: very closely. And we're wanting to know from you because
- 16:05Speaker 2: I understand that you are the person over crime watch.
- 16:07Speaker 2: What's going on with your two sons.
- 16:09Speaker 10: Well, serve For one thing.
- 16:10Speaker 9: I don't allow drugs selling for my house period. I
- 16:13Speaker 9: don't know. I don't even allow that because I am
- 16:15Speaker 9: the head of the car watch. I don't even allow
- 16:17Speaker 9: people to even come.
- 16:17Speaker 10: Back here to buy drugs.
- 16:19Speaker 9: Okay, okay, Now I know some kids that's mad at
- 16:22Speaker 9: my kids. They were calling the cops to my house,
- 16:24Speaker 9: come into my house and throwing rocks and everything. But
- 16:27Speaker 9: I can assure you, sir, that's one thing I do
- 16:31Speaker 9: not play. I do not allow people to even come
- 16:33Speaker 9: back to my house.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Okay, Now, are there surveillance cameras, ma'am that are pointing
- 16:38Speaker 2: in any area like in your back that you haven't
- 16:41Speaker 2: really activated it?
- 16:42Speaker 10: No more?
- 16:43Speaker 2: Okay, where exactly were your cameras pointing? What angle?
- 16:46Speaker 11: Were they towards the road?
- 16:48Speaker 2: Towards the road?
- 16:49Speaker 1: Right?
- 16:50Speaker 2: Is there anything in the backyard area of where you are?
- 16:54Speaker 12: No?
- 16:55Speaker 9: Okay, that's the only one we had.
- 16:56Speaker 2: All right, here's what's going on. We're actually and I'm
- 17:00Speaker 2: gonna just be completely honest with you, miss, there's a
- 17:02Speaker 2: possibility of a raid coming in there because we truly
- 17:05Speaker 2: believe that they are having some type of counterband in
- 17:09Speaker 2: that house right there.
- 17:11Speaker 10: Could you just hold on for me a second, sir,
- 17:21Speaker 10: Helen see.
- 17:22Speaker 2: If you can get that tech in here for you.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Hello, Yes, okay, yes, have you spoken with sir?
- 17:28Speaker 9: Let me tell you one thing.
- 17:29Speaker 10: Okay, I will bust say.
- 17:33Speaker 9: I don't even if I come back to my house
- 17:35Speaker 9: at all. I don't play that. I'm the head of
- 17:37Speaker 9: cry and Watch. I think all they need to go
- 17:39Speaker 9: get a job and stop messing up there. Damn Like
- 17:42Speaker 9: that's that's that's what's wrong with them. Okay, And I
- 17:44Speaker 9: don't play that, and and I don't appreciate that.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Okay, are there two boys there right now?
- 17:50Speaker 10: Yeah, they're here.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Can I speak with those guys one by one place?
- 17:53Speaker 2: Do you mind if I do that?
- 17:54Speaker 1: Miss?
- 17:57Speaker 9: They don't want to come to the phone.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Nobody wants to talk to the officer of the law. Huh,
- 18:03Speaker 2: what do you think, miss? I'm gonna try to handle
- 18:05Speaker 2: us as diligently as possible. Do you think I should
- 18:07Speaker 2: come out and speak with your boys there at No,
- 18:10Speaker 2: I'm trying to avoid a raid.
- 18:12Speaker 9: Happy, I'm avoiding my damnself.
- 18:14Speaker 2: No, I'm trying to avoid a raid coming to your home. Man,
- 18:17Speaker 2: That's what I'm trying to do. I want to call
- 18:18Speaker 2: and talk to you, sensible and see if I can
- 18:20Speaker 2: get some things rectified here, because right now it seems
- 18:23Speaker 2: like it shouldn't that your cameras should be actually pointing
- 18:26Speaker 2: at your back door or your backyard so I can
- 18:28Speaker 2: see what's going on there. That's what seems to be
- 18:30Speaker 2: happening here.
- 18:31Speaker 10: Okay, Well, do what you gotta do, you know, Okay, Well.
- 18:37Speaker 2: Before you do all of that, can we pretty much
- 18:40Speaker 2: like make sure that we know what we're talking about?
- 18:41Speaker 2: Do you think that they have contraband in the household.
- 18:44Speaker 10: No, I don't allow that in my household.
- 18:46Speaker 9: Okay, I'm a Christian woman.
- 18:47Speaker 10: I don't allow that at my household.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Have you beat these children before on this particular issue?
- 18:51Speaker 2: Have you had problems with them in to pass on this? No?
- 18:54Speaker 1: All right, I don't.
- 18:55Speaker 2: I'm just trying to square it up as quick as possible.
- 18:58Speaker 2: I don't want you going through being stressed out about
- 19:00Speaker 2: this particular issue. But I know that from my understanding,
- 19:03Speaker 2: you're supposed to be a law abiding person, and you're trying.
- 19:05Speaker 9: To be lawyer abiding. Very right, Mary, y'all hear very
- 19:08Speaker 9: much about my community, and that's why I do not
- 19:09Speaker 9: allow these things in my community. And if they're doing it,
- 19:13Speaker 9: trust me, I'm going to be on as soon as
- 19:14Speaker 9: I hang on this phone.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Well, I don't want you to hang up your chat
- 19:17Speaker 2: because I got a couple of things I want to
- 19:18Speaker 2: talk to you about. Because if you need me to
- 19:20Speaker 2: come over there and bust them with y'all done, come
- 19:22Speaker 2: and bust.
- 19:22Speaker 9: The day I need that, come bus and I'm gonna.
- 19:25Speaker 10: Help you, but some too.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Okay, I got one more thing I need to say
- 19:28Speaker 2: to you. Are you listening Yes, this is nephew Tommy
- 19:31Speaker 2: from the Steve Hobby Morning Show. You just got you got,
- 19:35Speaker 2: Frank Biddy.
- 19:38Speaker 9: Oh my goodness, I'm gonna kick they behind.
- 19:43Speaker 10: Don't do that because I take that very serious.
- 19:45Speaker 2: They told me, they told me you are about cleaning
- 19:48Speaker 2: up the community, and they bet not be nowhere around.
- 19:51Speaker 2: There's selling no dope.
- 19:52Speaker 9: And I mean, all they gotta do is look at me,

- 20:42Speaker 6: All right, thank you that you coming up.
- 20:45Speaker 5: It is asked the c l O.
- 20:47Speaker 6: Ask the Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. You're listening Steve
- 20:51Speaker 6: Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 20:54Speaker 6: and entertainment News. We'll find out how the birthday Boy
- 20:57Speaker 6: will be celebrating today. The Emmys credit Mama Dorris Mistoris
- 21:04Speaker 6: for helping Keith this year's show on Time. A random
- 21:07Speaker 6: guy just grabbed Lebron James during Monday Night's game. I
- 21:11Speaker 6: will tell you what happened with that. And good news.
- 21:15Speaker 6: You can buy or rent if you didn't see it.
- 21:17Speaker 6: The color Purple from Home. Now, that's all at the
- 21:20Speaker 6: top of the hour. Right now it is time to
- 21:24Speaker 6: ask the CLO. Come on, Birthday Boy. Corey and Hoover writes,
- 21:28Speaker 6: I'm nineteen and I have a two year old son.
- 21:31Speaker 6: My boyfriend and I moved in together, and my dad
- 21:33Speaker 6: has cut me off because of how I choose to live.
- 21:36Speaker 6: My boyfriend is really sweet to our son, and I
- 21:39Speaker 6: have a good life, but I need my daddy. Will
- 21:42Speaker 6: he ever forgive me?
- 21:44Speaker 2: Yeah, he.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Gon't have to. And to anybody else, out there who
- 21:50Speaker 1: has a child that has made a mistake, Try to
- 21:53Speaker 1: remember your younger years and the mistakes that were not
- 21:57Speaker 1: recorded due to the lack of phone cameras and social media. Also,
- 22:04Speaker 1: stop allowing the actions of your children to cause you
- 22:08Speaker 1: embarrassment because it's not your fault. Get over it. Continue
- 22:13Speaker 1: to do your job as a parent. Your dad will
- 22:16Speaker 1: have to get over it. He's a grandfather now. That
- 22:19Speaker 1: don't change. That don't change because you mad how it
- 22:24Speaker 1: happened and the time and over the how you choose
- 22:27Speaker 1: to live. Your father's probably he's mad because he's the
- 22:32Speaker 1: decisions you've made. But you've grown now you're nineteen with
- 22:37Speaker 1: a baby. Child rearing years is over, so you have
- 22:42Speaker 1: to make the adjustments dad, and move on. And he
- 22:45Speaker 1: will eventually, he will, but you keep telling him that
- 22:49Speaker 1: I need my father. Now he gonna be stubborn. You
- 22:51Speaker 1: ain't need me when you weren't listening to me. Well,
- 22:53Speaker 1: they don't listen sometimes they're called children and they don't
- 22:58Speaker 1: listen sometimes. And you gotta let him fall. And now
- 23:02Speaker 1: trust and believe. What the dad don't understand is the
- 23:04Speaker 1: young girl. She going through it right now because nineteen
- 23:08Speaker 1: with a baby is hard because he's thirty with a
- 23:11Speaker 1: baby is hard.
- 23:12Speaker 2: So she catching it.
- 23:17Speaker 1: You ain't got to teaching no more lessons. Life life
- 23:19Speaker 1: is doing is do now, Thank you next one, Cher.
- 23:21Speaker 6: All right, thank you Seve. Birthday boy. Eve and Winston
- 23:25Speaker 6: Salem says, I'm a stay at home wife. My husband
- 23:27Speaker 6: is a doctor and works long hours. I found out
- 23:31Speaker 6: that he is a studio apartment by the hospital so
- 23:33Speaker 6: he can rest between shifts. I think it's a great idea.
- 23:39Speaker 6: But why didn't he tell me first and give me
- 23:41Speaker 6: a key?
- 23:42Speaker 1: Hmm? Well, you know when he resting, you know, he
- 23:46Speaker 1: probably don't want to be interrupted with the rest. You know,
- 23:49Speaker 1: he just over there just resting and ship everything and
- 23:52Speaker 1: you know, just resting. You coming over there talking. He
- 23:55Speaker 1: can't get no rest, you know, it just and then
- 23:57Speaker 1: he's so busy at the hospital. You just said he'd
- 24:00Speaker 1: as he worked long hours, he probably just forgot to
- 24:03Speaker 1: tell and then, you know, and then he ain't had
- 24:05Speaker 1: time to stop down there at the key making shop
- 24:08Speaker 1: because you know, they stopped having the little buildings in
- 24:10Speaker 1: the middle of the parking like in front of Kmart
- 24:12Speaker 1: like they used to where you can get your key made.
- 24:14Speaker 1: When you were they stopped doing that now, So where
- 24:17Speaker 1: ain't gonna get to key made that. There's just so
- 24:19Speaker 1: many reasons don't have the key. He when the last
- 24:22Speaker 1: time you seen the doctor in loads? When the last
- 24:24Speaker 1: time the loads? My question is we have you seen
- 24:30Speaker 1: the doctor?
- 24:31Speaker 6: That's what you're going with. That's your answer.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, he don't he fixed people. He don't
- 24:36Speaker 1: freax the walls.
- 24:39Speaker 6: He got a whole apartment at least money, and he
- 24:42Speaker 6: didn't tell us what He never told us to find
- 24:44Speaker 6: out on her own, just interested in herself.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Was busy down there saving lines.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 24:53Speaker 1: He down the Grady Hospital. You how many people come
- 24:55Speaker 1: through that? He's just busy.
- 24:57Speaker 6: I'm gonna let you have that one because it's your birthday.
- 25:00Speaker 1: One of the best trauma centers in the world is
- 25:02Speaker 1: in Grady Hospital down there. Atlanta had soft to all
- 25:05Speaker 1: the doctors down there, so he probably down there and
- 25:07Speaker 1: he just forgot that's off, all right.
- 25:10Speaker 6: Moving on to Simone and West Philly, Simone writes, I
- 25:14Speaker 6: was intimate with a guy from my past, and he
- 25:16Speaker 6: ran and told all of our mutual friends. I had
- 25:20Speaker 6: hopes that our one night stand might turn into something special,
- 25:23Speaker 6: but it seems like he just wanted bragging rights. Should
- 25:26Speaker 6: I tell him how I feel or not?
- 25:29Speaker 1: Yeah? Well, I mean what that's gonna change? He told
- 25:31Speaker 1: everybody now, and you can go on and tell him
- 25:35Speaker 1: how you feel.
- 25:35Speaker 2: But what real man do that?
- 25:40Speaker 12: You know?
- 25:41Speaker 1: The question this year is what real man does anything?
- 25:45Speaker 1: I'm just so confused now, were just dragging manhood through
- 25:50Speaker 1: the mud. I'm just it's so many things I just
- 25:54Speaker 1: have found out that men don't do. And I'm just
- 25:57Speaker 1: I'm that's real man.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Man.
- 26:01Speaker 1: We're gonna have to start. We're gonna stop making some rules.
- 26:04Speaker 2: We need a meeting. We need a meeting like that.
- 26:07Speaker 1: I might even do it at my ranch. Man, I'm
- 26:09Speaker 1: just have manhood meeting. Just all men just tied. All
- 26:14Speaker 1: these fake men out here, Let's just let's just meet talk,
- 26:19Speaker 1: you know, just check them every now and then.
- 26:21Speaker 2: Hey, man, hey, hey, you make the rules all right?
- 26:27Speaker 6: Faith in Texasar, Canada, this is our last one. Steve says,
- 26:31Speaker 6: my boyfriend is married. My boyfriend is married, make sure
- 26:35Speaker 6: you catch that. And he feels terrible, terrible about cheating,
- 26:40Speaker 6: but he's addicted to me. I found out his wife
- 26:44Speaker 6: has a side, dude. Should I tell him about her?
- 26:47Speaker 6: To ease his consciousness. Yeah, she's so helpful.
- 26:54Speaker 1: If you ain't trying to break up a relationship with
- 26:57Speaker 1: that information you have, and you don't know that to
- 27:02Speaker 1: be the case, you want it to be the case.
- 27:05Speaker 1: You heard some gossip and now you want to be
- 27:07Speaker 1: the one to bring him the news to help ease
- 27:10Speaker 1: the thing. It's not gonna change the way he feel
- 27:13Speaker 1: about you. See y'all think y'all gonna take these dudes
- 27:18Speaker 1: some information that's gonna change how he feel about you.
- 27:21Speaker 1: It ain't gonna change it. Let's just say it were
- 27:24Speaker 1: true that she had a dude on the side. How
- 27:28Speaker 1: you think that's gonna play out for you? That don't
- 27:32Speaker 1: make you number one? You still side? See Okay, ladies,
- 27:39Speaker 1: let me help y'all understand. So, okay, when you go
- 27:43Speaker 1: to any chicken place and you read the menu, the
- 27:47Speaker 1: main item is chicken because they have a small section
- 27:51Speaker 1: at the end of the end of the menu, right
- 27:54Speaker 1: before desserts that says sides. Ain't nobody ever been the
- 28:00Speaker 1: Popeyes and order to slow platter? Ain't nobody ever been
- 28:05Speaker 1: to Popeyes in order to red beans and rice platter?
- 28:10Speaker 1: You ain't? You can't go get the corn platter. There
- 28:14Speaker 1: is no mash potato platter. You are a side. Sides
- 28:22Speaker 1: don't become main because they don't cost what the main costs.
- 28:28Speaker 1: The mash potatoes ain't the same price as the chicken.
- 28:33Speaker 1: It's cheaper. You can't be the main because you are side.
- 28:44Speaker 5: Is not a main.
- 28:48Speaker 1: All right, Grill vegetables is not a main.

- 29:40Speaker 1: Don't party?
- 29:42Speaker 6: I don't.
- 29:42Speaker 1: I don't, I don't. I don't like enough people to
- 29:44Speaker 1: throw a part.
- 29:48Speaker 6: What gift do you want that you don't have because
- 29:51Speaker 6: you have everything?
- 29:55Speaker 2: Well?
- 29:55Speaker 1: I got him, but you know I love a watch.
- 29:57Speaker 1: But you know this year, I don't think I'm gonna
- 29:59Speaker 1: do that though, what are what I'm gonna do something
- 30:04Speaker 1: different this year. I'm an in instead of a watch

- 30:11Speaker 4: I'm so follow.
- 30:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna just do like an investment.
- 30:16Speaker 4: You know, okay, what are you buying?
- 30:20Speaker 6: Investment?
- 30:20Speaker 10: What are you buying?
- 30:21Speaker 2: You know?
- 30:22Speaker 1: Just put put that instead of buying and watch it.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Put that money on something, you know, mm hmm. I'll
- 30:29Speaker 1: tell you who it won't be on. It won't be
- 30:31Speaker 1: on none of them, damn kids. No, I'm gonna have
- 30:36Speaker 1: a selfish moment today, you know, I'm just I'm just curising.
- 30:39Speaker 1: They ain't gonna give me nothing. Don't get me done.
- 30:43Speaker 6: Really, I was saying that you be disappointed.
- 30:47Speaker 1: No no, no, no no no no no no no.
- 30:49Speaker 1: I'm saying that because so I already know not to
- 30:52Speaker 1: be disappointed because they ain't gonna give me nothing. I mean,
- 30:57Speaker 1: I pretty much understand the delimit they god, you know,
- 31:00Speaker 1: to be mad at it? Do they expect something on
- 31:03Speaker 1: their birthday? See, I don't don't. I ain't listen to me, man,
- 31:11Speaker 1: I don't own it. Like for example, Christmas, I got
- 31:15Speaker 1: it by one gift that's Margie. I don't know what
- 31:17Speaker 1: everybody else is getting people tell them own daddy, thank.
- 31:19Speaker 5: You so much.

- 31:22Speaker 1: and that I be just you didn't know who you are.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not into that.
- 31:28Speaker 1: So I don't like when they get birthday gifts. I don't.
- 31:31Speaker 1: I don't know, Marjorie does all of that take that
- 31:35Speaker 1: word from me, don't. I don't miss nobody's birthday Marjorie
- 31:38Speaker 1: on top of everything. So I don't really know. I
- 31:41Speaker 1: just you know, if they call me, if they send
- 31:43Speaker 1: me a nice text, you know what I mean to them,
- 31:46Speaker 1: what I taught them. That's really good enough for me
- 31:49Speaker 1: at this stage, because please, don't buy me nothing now
- 31:52Speaker 1: I don't want. Don't do that.
- 31:54Speaker 6: Take the pressure off, like what what don't you want?
- 31:57Speaker 1: Don't buy me no socks, don't buy my don't want
- 32:01Speaker 1: no damn T shirt with no right only no slogan.
- 32:04Speaker 1: I know you really motivate people. So I bought you
- 32:06Speaker 1: this T shirt right here?
- 32:11Speaker 4: What do you want?
- 32:12Speaker 6: I hope you accepted grace graciously and gracefully. If they
- 32:16Speaker 6: give that to you.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Well, if they don't see me, they looking at me
- 32:21Speaker 1: when I'm whole, I ain't really good at at playing
- 32:24Speaker 1: at all.
- 32:26Speaker 6: Like the time on the means and you didn't win.
- 32:28Speaker 1: That when you looked around and w T L cash cab.
- 32:40Speaker 6: Oh sorry brother, it was canceled.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Yeah, and it was canceling.
- 32:46Speaker 1: I look around.
- 32:47Speaker 7: I went.
- 32:50Speaker 4: We saw you looking around, yes, and I'm like, oh
- 32:52Speaker 4: my god.
- 32:54Speaker 1: That's the last time I went down there too. All
- 32:57Speaker 1: was touching me. Daddy, daddy, we can see you. That's whatever.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Get these cameras out of my.
- 33:02Speaker 6: Face because I k all right, one more question, Steve Yes,
- 33:11Speaker 6: as you celebrate your sixty seventh birthday, what's on your
- 33:13Speaker 6: vision board for year sixty seven?
- 33:16Speaker 1: I got to do pull it up my head. It
- 33:17Speaker 1: is right here, see I can't. I got to keep
- 33:21Speaker 1: it moving because I've learned not to share with people
- 33:22Speaker 1: because right there, I'm just showing it to case somebody
- 33:28Speaker 1: try to screen shoot it. Alright, that's it soon board.
- 33:36Speaker 1: One of the things is to get healthy, to get lean,
- 33:41Speaker 1: to get down to sixteen percent body fat. I want
- 33:44Speaker 1: you to know that I will be taking that off
- 33:46Speaker 1: because I'm at sixteen point seven percent body fat. I got.
- 33:50Speaker 1: I reached that goal.
- 33:51Speaker 6: Wow, and I am more hand congratulate.
- 33:54Speaker 1: All The goal is to help others, to become a
- 33:59Speaker 1: global speaker, to change millions of young men's lives.
- 34:06Speaker 7: UH.
- 34:06Speaker 1: To build a bridge between Africa, U A E and USA.
- 34:10Speaker 1: To build out and complete my ranch. That's to build
- 34:13Speaker 1: dormitory's theater, Gym Abraham House of Prayer on it, a
- 34:18Speaker 1: new larger stem center, esports gaming UH place, and a
- 34:23Speaker 1: sustainable farm. I've already had a sustainable farm started. And
- 34:29Speaker 1: solar power. I'm working on that with Georgia Power. I
- 34:32Speaker 1: have a cash flow goal. I have a liquidation goal,
- 34:36Speaker 1: be working with the power. I like to get a
- 34:42Speaker 1: global business jet.
- 34:44Speaker 2: I like that.
- 34:45Speaker 1: I saw one on the Tarmact the other day that
- 34:48Speaker 1: was so nasty. Could lord little bitty ass dude got
- 34:54Speaker 1: off the plane. I say, hey man, can I see
- 34:56Speaker 1: the inside of your plane? Please?
- 35:00Speaker 2: Was that dope? Did you get a picture?
- 35:04Speaker 12: No?
- 35:05Speaker 1: You know see I want to get I want to
- 35:07Speaker 1: get a Master's membership jacket.
- 35:09Speaker 6: And of course, since we're talking birthdays, we have to
- 35:12Speaker 6: say happy birthday to our baby on this show. I
- 35:15Speaker 6: feel like we all raised our baby Tasha six Oh
- 35:19Speaker 6: yeah we are sixteen. They had the same birthday. Yes, yes,
- 35:23Speaker 6: my daughter Tasha Meryl. Today my daughter is sixteen years old,
- 35:29Speaker 6: Steve Yes old, Yeah, I remember when you were pregnant.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Wow, all of that Happy birthday, baby girl, loved so much,
- 35:39Speaker 1: so we all love you.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Happy birthday.
- 35:43Speaker 6: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour after Monday
- 35:46Speaker 6: Nights Iowa caucus h Donald Trump is in the league.
- 35:50Speaker 6: We'll talk about that right after this you're listening morning show. Well,
- 35:55Speaker 6: Donald Trump surprise surprise one of the Republican Iowa caucuses
- 35:59Speaker 6: on Monday, and the win brings him one step closer
- 36:03Speaker 6: to becoming the Republican Party's presidential nominee for the twenty
- 36:06Speaker 6: twenty four election. This year, Trump accounted for fifty one
- 36:11Speaker 6: percent of the votes and twenty delegates. Florida Governor Ron
- 36:15Speaker 6: DeSantis came in second place, but just over twenty one
- 36:18Speaker 6: percent of votes and eight delegates, and former Governor of
- 36:20Speaker 6: South Carolina Nikki Hayley was close behind him with nineteen
- 36:24Speaker 6: point one percent of votes and seven delegates. Entrepreneur of
- 36:28Speaker 6: the Vike Ramaswami came in fourth place, and he has
- 36:31Speaker 6: officially suspended his campaign and he is endorsing Donald Trump
- 36:36Speaker 6: for the Republican nomination.
- 36:39Speaker 4: Okay, whole move.
- 36:40Speaker 1: From the beginning, he wanted to be vice president. Nobody
- 36:44Speaker 1: going for this right like.
- 36:48Speaker 6: The next presidential miminary like him.
- 36:51Speaker 1: This little yeah, don't know, nobody like him. He's unlikable.
- 36:55Speaker 1: Desantus is unlikable. Trump is unlikable, but they've love him. Yeah,
- 37:03Speaker 1: they are just like him. I'm telling y'all, we are
- 37:06Speaker 1: going to have to get to the polls. No matter
- 37:07Speaker 1: how you feel about this election, we have got to
- 37:10Speaker 1: get to the polls for a simple reason. If you
- 37:13Speaker 1: don't vote, you are voting for Trump. Period. Stop this
- 37:18Speaker 1: foolishness about what he's done for African Americans. Don't these
- 37:22Speaker 1: little twisting bins they do it. He ain't done nothing
- 37:24Speaker 1: for nobody. Nobody do y'all remember when the rallying cry
- 37:31Speaker 1: was repeal and replace Obamacare. What happened to that?
- 37:35Speaker 6: Well, to replace it? Yeah, they had nothing, and.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Most Republicans and people need Obamacare, their Healthcare Act. They
- 37:47Speaker 1: need it and it's good for them and they know it.
- 37:51Speaker 1: So they had to let that go. They ain't talking
- 37:54Speaker 1: about that. Now, get off this trip about how old
- 37:57Speaker 1: Biden is. I don't care how slow he moving.
- 38:04Speaker 12: You want.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Also, let's stop this foolishness they got under Donald Trump
- 38:12Speaker 1: that was peace in the world under Biden. Three wars.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Biden ain't started none of them. War Biden didn't invade
- 38:19Speaker 1: Russia invaded Ukraine. That was a putent decision that had
- 38:22Speaker 1: nothing to do with him. The continued ongoing war that's
- 38:27Speaker 1: been happening in Israel and the Palestine that's been going
- 38:31Speaker 1: on for god knows how long that needs to end.
- 38:35Speaker 1: And then this whole thing about Yemen, whatever, what are

- 53:51Speaker 6: Thank you, nephew. Subject he wants to talk to my ex.
- 53:55Speaker 6: Dear Stephen Shirley. I was married for four short years
- 53:59Speaker 6: and my ex husband and I are still really good friends,
- 54:03Speaker 6: but we can't seem to get along well enough to
- 54:05Speaker 6: live together. I moved to a nearby city to start
- 54:09Speaker 6: over so I wouldn't have to run into him all
- 54:11Speaker 6: the time. As soon as I moved and got a
- 54:14Speaker 6: job transfer, I started dating a guy at work. I've
- 54:17Speaker 6: been seeing him for a little over a year, and
- 54:19Speaker 6: we have a lot in common except sex. Drive. So
- 54:23Speaker 6: a few days ago, I drove back to my old
- 54:26Speaker 6: stomping grounds to finalize my divorce. Then my ex husband
- 54:30Speaker 6: and I ended up having sex in the parking lot
- 54:32Speaker 6: of the courthouse. He followed me home over an hour away,
- 54:36Speaker 6: and we got busy all night. It really felt good
- 54:40Speaker 6: to be back in his arms. But I kept getting
- 54:43Speaker 6: phone But I kept getting phone calls and texts from
- 54:45Speaker 6: my boyfriend, and his text said he was worried about me.
- 54:50Speaker 6: I managed to text him back. I managed to text
- 54:53Speaker 6: him back and tell him I wasn't feeling good and
- 54:56Speaker 6: I was in bed. The next morning, I did not
- 54:59Speaker 6: go to work, so my boyfriend came by to see
- 55:02Speaker 6: if I needed anything. I had to tell him I
- 55:05Speaker 6: had COVID so he wouldn't stay. He knew that I
- 55:08Speaker 6: had gone to do with my ex and my divorce.
- 55:12Speaker 6: So he suggested I call my ex to let him
- 55:14Speaker 6: know that I have COVID so he could go and
- 55:17Speaker 6: get texts tested. He said, I need to do the
- 55:20Speaker 6: right thing, and if I don't tell my ex, he will.
- 55:24Speaker 6: He knows he can call my ex at his barbershop.
- 55:26Speaker 6: He's threatened to do it before, and I told him,
- 55:29Speaker 6: if he calls my ex husband, I'm breaking up with him.
- 55:33Speaker 6: That made him think that I have something.
- 55:35Speaker 1: To hide, and I do.
- 55:37Speaker 6: My ex husband will be completely honest about everything if
- 55:40Speaker 6: my boyfriend calls him. I love my boyfriend, but is
- 55:44Speaker 6: he the wrong man for me? If he can't trust
- 55:46Speaker 6: me enough to believe what I tell him?
- 55:49Speaker 2: What?
- 55:51Speaker 13: Trust you?
- 55:53Speaker 6: Why should he trust you? You did everything to make
- 55:57Speaker 6: not only him your boyfriend, but any man trust you.
- 56:01Speaker 6: I mean, when was your man supposed to things?
- 56:03Speaker 2: You said?
- 56:03Speaker 6: You moved away from your ex so you could stop
- 56:05Speaker 6: running into him, Then as soon as you see him,
- 56:09Speaker 6: you sleep with him. He drove an hour to sleep
- 56:12Speaker 6: with you. You didn't answer your boyfriend's calls or his
- 56:15Speaker 6: text messages, you didn't show up for work the next day,
- 56:19Speaker 6: and you're obviously not such a good liar. Because he's
- 56:22Speaker 6: itching to call your ex to find out what happened. Period.
- 56:25Speaker 6: That's why he's gonna call him. It's not because he's
- 56:27Speaker 6: such a nice guy that he wants your ex to
- 56:31Speaker 6: know that you have COVID and he needs to get checked.
- 56:34Speaker 6: That's not why he's doing it. Your boyfriend wants answers,
- 56:37Speaker 6: not the lies you told him. It's not that he's
- 56:40Speaker 6: the wrong man for you. You're the wrong woman for him.
- 56:43Speaker 6: You can't be trusted. If he had done this to you,
- 56:46Speaker 6: you would have really broken up with him and not
- 56:49Speaker 6: just threatened to do it with him. Okay, you would
- 56:51Speaker 6: have broken up with him. Come on, birthday boy, Steve.
- 56:56Speaker 1: Okay, all right, I got it. Okay, here we go.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Now let me explain something to y'all. First of all,
- 57:04Speaker 1: this letter is a complete and utter mess. I don't
- 57:09Speaker 1: know why y'all write us with this type of stuff
- 57:11Speaker 1: and expect us have an answer for a whole lot
- 57:14Speaker 1: of wrong. Now you want to make a right out
- 57:17Speaker 1: of all this? So many wrongs in here. You know
- 57:19Speaker 1: you was married four short years ago. What is short years?
- 57:23Speaker 1: All of them is three hundred and sixty five days,
- 57:26Speaker 1: So you know, listen, you're lying. I was married for
- 57:29Speaker 1: four short years. No, no, no, no, no, four years
- 57:32Speaker 1: samely everybody. Okay, but my ex husband and I are
- 57:37Speaker 1: still really good friends. Yeah, that's kind of troubling to me. Also,
- 57:45Speaker 1: I think it's another lie. I moved to a nearby
- 57:48Speaker 1: city so I could stop running into him all the time. Now,
- 57:52Speaker 1: come to find out later on in the letter that
- 57:54Speaker 1: her husband is a barber. How you keep running into
- 57:59Speaker 1: a bar at a barber shop all the time is
- 58:02Speaker 1: a miracle to me, because they usually work in one place. Now,
- 58:07Speaker 1: if you quit taking your ass down there to the barbershop,
- 58:10Speaker 1: you can probably quit running into it. Hard to cut hand,
- 58:13Speaker 1: be down to tugget at the same time, hard to
- 58:16Speaker 1: cut hand, and be at the pool hall the same
- 58:18Speaker 1: time your ex husband cut hair. You run into him
- 58:22Speaker 1: all the time. The hell that happened when most barbers
- 58:26Speaker 1: is in the barbershop as to start out. Then, so
- 58:30Speaker 1: when you moved out of nearby town, so you quit
- 58:32Speaker 1: run up until and you started dating. The guide work
- 58:35Speaker 1: and you all have an amazing everything except everything y'all
- 58:39Speaker 1: have in common except sex. Drive. So a few days
- 58:43Speaker 1: ago you drove back to your old stomping ground. That's
- 58:47Speaker 1: the city you moved from to finalize your divorce. Well,
- 58:52Speaker 1: you and your ex husband and I ended up y'all
- 58:54Speaker 1: had sex in the parking lot of the courthouse. Well,
- 58:57Speaker 1: how this kind of divorce was this? I've been to
- 59:08Speaker 1: court two times for this. Here I saw my ex
- 59:14Speaker 1: in the parking lot. Okay, she was shooting at me
- 59:21Speaker 1: so so much making love in the car. Hard to
- 59:27Speaker 1: do that if somebody opened fool you from the good things.
- 59:32Speaker 1: She couldn't shoot anyway, y'all ended up having sex in
- 59:37Speaker 1: the parking lot at the courthouse. Then he followed you
- 59:40Speaker 1: home over an hour. Wait, this the new city you
- 59:43Speaker 1: moved to, and y'all got busy all night long. It
- 59:46Speaker 1: felt good to be back in his arms. But I
- 59:50Speaker 1: kept getting phone calls and text from a boyfriend.
- 59:53Speaker 2: He just texted.
- 59:54Speaker 1: Had eight hundred miss calls, sixty two voice messages eight
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: hang on, we come back. I'll tell you what she
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: said she did.
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: Okay, we've got part too of Steve's response coming up
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: in twenty three minutes after the hour subject for today's
- 1:00:12Speaker 6: Strawberry Letter. He wants to talk to my ex. We'll
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: get back into it right after this you're listening hard
- 1:00:19Speaker 6: morning show. All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:00:22Speaker 6: strawberry letter. The subject is he wants to talk to
- 1:00:25Speaker 6: my ex.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Okay, this lady in the letter, let's just come to
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: this turn is a liar. So the little lion that
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: wrote this letter. She married for four short years. Each
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: year is three hundred and sixty five days. And unless
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: you have a leap year and you miss a day
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: or something, I don't know how one of them was short,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: you're as long as year though they same damn time. Anyway.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: Then her and ex husband they still really good friends,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: and she moved out of town so she could quit
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: running into him. Come to find out, he's a bober.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: So I don't know how she running it up into
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: him a lot, But she moved out of town. She
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: started working, she started eating the guy. They got a
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: lot in common except for sex. Drive, so she went
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: back to her old town to finalize her divorce. Her
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: and her ex husband ended up having sex in the
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: parking lot at the courthouse. What an amazing divorce this was,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: And then he followed her home back to the city
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: she had moved to to get away from him. She
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: led him back to her bedroom and one hour way.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: They got busy all night long, and it felt so
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: good for her to be back in his arms again.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: But she said she kept getting phone calls and text
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: from her boyfriend, and his text said he was worried
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: about me. Yeah, because you ain't returning none of his
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: calls and phone calls. Then she said, I managed to
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: text him back. See now, when a person manages to
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: text him back, that means the barber finally let go.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: That barber was in there. She said.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: They was busy all night. That boy was up in
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: there handling, flipping and tossing, holding, pressing, stretching. You couldn't
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: get no water or nothing. When you finally got a chance,
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: you look up. You managed to text him back and
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: told him you wasn't feeling good and was in bed.
- 1:02:17Speaker 7: Nah.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: Oh that's true, that's the only truth you wrote. The
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: next morning, I didn't go to work. Well, hell you can't.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: So my boyfriend came to see if I needed anything.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: I had to tell him I had COVID, so he
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: wouldn't stay. Now you're talking through the door. You don't
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: come in here. Yeah that was good, but that was
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: a lie. Yeah, she was just beat up by she
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: was she would barber shop beat. That's all that was.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: That wasn't COVID. That barber shop beat. That's man. And
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: there was some heavy clippers.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: So then.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: He knew that I had gone to deal with my
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: ex and my divorce. So he suggested that I call
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: my ex to let him know that I have COVID
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: so he could go get tested. What why she got
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: to call her ex? Tell her ex? Go get texted.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: They was in the courthouse and she got to call
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: everybody down at the courthouse. Why don't you just call
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: the whole courthouse and tell the whole courthouse. Hey, I
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: got COVID, y'all need to do it get texted. Why
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: are you so damn concerned about the ex? Anyway, though,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: go down there and make sure let him get tested.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: He said, I need to do the right thing. And
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: if I don't tell my ex, he will what he knows,
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: he can call my ex at the barbershop. He's threatened
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: to do it before. What do you mean he's thartning
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: to do it before. Now that's the part of the line.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: I don't understand it. If you I'm fit to call
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: your boyfriend at the barber shop because of what What
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: is it that you do that makes him want to
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: tell on you? See what kind of relationship y'all got
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: this dude right here? If you do it again, I'm
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: gonna call your ex.
- 1:04:09Speaker 6: What.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: Yeah, somebody never said in my life. Yes, somebody never
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: thought in my life. I don't even know how what
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: that line threw me off. He can call my ex
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: at the barbershop. He's threatened to do it before. If
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: you don't. If you don't, I'm gonna ask him about you.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: What anyway? I told him? If he calls my ex boyfriend,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: I'm breaking up with him. That made him think I
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: have something to hide and I do. Heady, you got
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: to stop lying because this ain't what you do. You
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: should have said, call him, I don't care, and when
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: you call him, watch what happened. It'll be your last
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: call about me because I wish you would call another
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: man to check on me. What kind of man are you?
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: That's what you should have did, That's what you should
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: have said. But now you're letting him use your boyfriend
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: to threaten you, and it made him think I have
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: something to hide, and I do. My ex husband will
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: be completely honest about everything.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: Who they dudes? You dating.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: Your ex husband will be completely honest about everything?
- 1:05:12Speaker 11: What?
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: What kind of dude is this where you meet these men?
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: And that you said.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: And my ex husband will be completely honest about everything?
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: Where is dude that.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: Where you meet these two honest men that they care
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: for each other's health and welfare. You better call him
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: and tell him to get tested because if you don't,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: I will what lady? You pick bad men? Right here?
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: You stupid? If my bridden calls him? I love my boyfriend,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: but is he the wrong man for me and he
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: can't trust me enough to believe what I'm telling him?
- 1:05:54Speaker 8: Hell?
- 1:05:54Speaker 10: You lie?
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: Ain't got no help for you.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: I don't care what happened?

- 1:07:45Speaker 1: am a huge Lamart Jackson fan and have always been
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: a Raven fan because you all don't notice, but Baltimore
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: is really the old Cleveland Browns. Okay, yeah, yeah, that's true.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: You know you know what I noticed? Every quarterback you
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: root for lou you know Jaalen Hurts is gone. See.
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: See, you need to start rooting for quarterbacks. See every
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: quarterback mar Mark Jackson, you root for him, gonna be gone.
- 1:08:16Speaker 6: Okay, I like the way Junior does it.

- 1:08:27Speaker 2: I like c J.

- 1:09:07Speaker 1: texts win, I'm gonna congratulate you. You will have to
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: thank you.

- 1:09:19Speaker 2: you get another week in, you get another day.
- 1:09:23Speaker 5: Time of the hour.
- 1:09:25Speaker 6: Some woeman needs some advice, Jeeve. She's very particular about
- 1:09:28Speaker 6: what touches her body and she needs your help. Right
- 1:09:31Speaker 6: after this, you're listening Morning show. This is from Keana
- 1:09:39Speaker 6: in Germantown. Steve. Keana says, I'm a complete germophobe and
- 1:09:43Speaker 6: I'm dating a man that tests my limits. I ask
- 1:09:46Speaker 6: him to wash his hands and brush his teeth before bedtime,
- 1:09:50Speaker 6: so I don't have any issues with being intimate with him.
- 1:09:53Speaker 6: I don't want his mouth anywhere on my body if
- 1:09:56Speaker 6: he hasn't lossed and brushed and rented. I also don't
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: want his nasty hands handling me in my special place.
- 1:10:04Speaker 6: I'm trying to keep everything working properly. How do I
- 1:10:07Speaker 6: get him to be more sanitary in bed? Am I
- 1:10:11Speaker 6: asking too much?
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: You ain't asking much at all. Man, you ain't asking
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: much at all. I'll oblige all that I do it
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: what you need. But now when I do it, I'm
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: gonna need to be in here. I'm gonna be strong
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: with it. Now, hands and mouth, hands and mouth, mouth
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: and ask me to be hands and mouth mouthful. Hands,
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: don't stop here. I cut more mouth, more hands, he idiots,
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: hands and mouth, mouth and hands. Yeah, yeah, yeah, he
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: got to do better, though. I don't even see what
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: the argument is. That's the woman's request. Bro, that's the
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: woman's request. You give her what she want. You give
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: what you want. That's an exchange. Who don't wash my
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: hands or I ain't say to rise my mouth? What's
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: you talking about? Yeah that' said Nadaud had it Hamm said,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: why would I take the flavor out of my mouth?
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: And I just hate the damn sair.
- 1:11:09Speaker 6: Flavor? All right, I think we have time for one more.
- 1:11:14Speaker 6: This one's from Trudy and Augusta. Trudy says, I'm sixty
- 1:11:18Speaker 6: one and I was out with my granddaughter Saturday and
- 1:11:20Speaker 6: ran into my sorority sister at a restaurant. I had
- 1:11:23Speaker 6: on my leggings, heels and a fedora and my sorority.
- 1:11:27Speaker 6: Sorority sister made the comment that I'm still holding on
- 1:11:30Speaker 6: for dear life. I commented that I'm old, not dead,
- 1:11:34Speaker 6: and she got offended. She thought she could come at
- 1:11:36Speaker 6: me like that and she didn't expect me to clap back.
- 1:11:39Speaker 6: She wants us to talk and clear the air. Well,
- 1:11:41Speaker 6: it clear up her jealousy. Should I leave her? In
- 1:11:44Speaker 6: twenty twenty three?
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: Well, I don't understand what y'all got to clear the
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: air for. Right, See, you said what you said? Yeah,
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: I said what I said threw now yeah, that's it.
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: I mean then what what?
- 1:12:01Speaker 12: What?
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: What do you want to talk about? It seems it
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: seems like a conversation really over. Ladies might get offended,
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: it rags out. Huh, A'm all right, ladies. Do ladies
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: get offended and it'll it'll until she apologized to me
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: or you said, it just keeps it could go on.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: Well, the lady who initiated it by saying, I see
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: you still trying to hold off that started, Yeah, I
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: ain't dead. That's that's a cool response. We need to
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: talk and clear the ad what what?
- 1:12:43Speaker 12: What? What?
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: What you're finn to justify what you said?
- 1:12:45Speaker 6: To me, she said, will it clear up her jealousy?
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: I love it.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: Because I got it for you.
- 1:13:00Speaker 6: Yeah, so she's asking should she just leave her and
- 1:13:04Speaker 6: her jealousy back in twenty twenty three?
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, you know, this ain't the first time, though,
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: this is the first time. If you think back over
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: your friendship, this ain't the first time. She can't fire
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: the shot.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: She's that type of person.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: You don't. You don't. This ain't your first time firing
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: sixty You can find this shot before. Yeah, so you know,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: like like I don't, I don't drag people along with
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: me no more if you ain't encouraging a HealthFlow of benefit. Man,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: let's just go on in this relationship.
- 1:13:37Speaker 6: So one lady had a nice fedora another and she
- 1:13:41Speaker 6: had on her leggings and her heels. So what did
- 1:13:43Speaker 6: the other lady have one? What did the other lady
- 1:13:46Speaker 6: have dress?
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: What house coat?
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: She had on?
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: Something that wasn't fitted. You could be even bleed at
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: and when tops to hang over your breast and just
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: hide it. Yeah, nothing fit, no huff, you know, she said.
- 1:14:08Speaker 6: Holding on.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: All right?

- 1:14:20Speaker 6: you're listening Harvey Morning Show. Well, this is some good
- 1:14:26Speaker 6: news out of Philly. For the second year in a row,
- 1:14:28Speaker 6: the Philadelphia Eagles football teammates Jason Kelsey, Jordan Melatta, and
- 1:14:33Speaker 6: Lane Johnson got together to record a limited edition holiday
- 1:14:37Speaker 6: album celebrating Christmas, friendship, and Philadelphia. The album is called
- 1:14:43Speaker 6: A Philly Special Christmas and it's raised over three million
- 1:14:47Speaker 6: dollars Steve. That's twice as much as last year's album.
- 1:14:51Speaker 6: The proceeds were distributed among twelve local charities in Philly.
- 1:14:55Speaker 6: The producer of A Philly Special Christmas explained quote, it's
- 1:14:59Speaker 6: a testament to the power of music, friendship, community, the
- 1:15:03Speaker 6: city of Philly, and most of all, the enjoyment we
- 1:15:06Speaker 6: had making and sharing these songs. So have you have
- 1:15:11Speaker 6: you guys heard mmv's players.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: Sing no about that we won't win the football game,
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: damn about your career and all this hell? Would you say,
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: who trying to win the for?

- 1:15:25Speaker 1: I watched the Eagles for football. I will never tuned
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: in for the Eagles for no damn album. You can
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: ask some Philly fans right now, do they want to
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: win or they want a new damn quick dropping albums
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: and drop some wins. One on five point three w
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: d as sounded like.
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: Philly to me.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: Now I'm speaking on behalf of Phillydelphi football fans. Quit
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: dropping albums and quick dropping all them damn passes and
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: pick up some damn wins. Make a better not make
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: another album next year?
- 1:16:01Speaker 4: All right?
- 1:16:02Speaker 6: Coming up at thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:16:05Speaker 6: play around and would you rather right after this you're

- 1:16:27Speaker 1: I love it so good that jerk is gonna jerk

- 1:17:12Speaker 1: to this bathroom.
- 1:17:14Speaker 6: You have fallen asleep in a meeting. I can't.
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: I can't hold it.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: Don't give a damn no, no, no, I can't hold it.
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: No, no, no, month, I can't hold.
- 1:17:26Speaker 6: Yeah, you guys can't hold.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: He said, try to though? What I can't even not?
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: Like you ever been at the mall and ask for
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: the restroom and they point weight down?
- 1:17:35Speaker 12: There?
- 1:17:35Speaker 7: You going?
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: Stop thinking about some alternatives.
- 1:17:42Speaker 4: That long?
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: What can I do on the weight down?
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:17:52Speaker 6: Would you rather sex under a weighted blanket? Or would
- 1:17:57Speaker 6: you rather sex under a heated blanket?
- 1:18:01Speaker 5: A and B?
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: Either way, I'm feeling faint.
- 1:18:04Speaker 4: Either too hot?
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: That's too hot?
- 1:18:14Speaker 6: So you all picked the weighted blanket.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: I picked A and B. I'm having sex. I don't
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: care what happens to me.
- 1:18:23Speaker 6: Would you rather a headful of curly hair? Oh?
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: Let me go ahead?
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: Why would you even start this mission? Go ahead?
- 1:18:37Speaker 6: Or hazel eyes? That's all? Or hazel colored eyes? Yeahs
- 1:18:41Speaker 6: over this.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: Let's talk about the three people on this show. Okay,
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: ain't none of us got hazel lies, nor would we
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: look good with hazel lies? So how is it going
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: with this curly hair amongst us? Sureley said, like Junior
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: used to have.
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: What happened to it?
- 1:19:02Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:19:03Speaker 5: I'm out.
- 1:19:04Speaker 6: I don't boys.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: You said what Junior used to have was curly hair.
- 1:19:13Speaker 5: What happened?
- 1:19:16Speaker 6: It's time to go. Sorry, guys, we can't get into it.
- 1:19:20Speaker 6: We'll be back with our closing remarks from the birthday. Boy,
- 1:19:26Speaker 6: you're listening Morning show?
- 1:19:30Speaker 5: All right?
- 1:19:30Speaker 6: Steve, here we are last break of the day on
- 1:19:33Speaker 6: this Wednesday. It's your birthday. Happy birthday. Happy, Happy birthday, Steve.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: Birthday, Your day by Big Dog.
- 1:19:44Speaker 6: And Happy birthday Ta Tasha, Tasha Ferrell Carlo's band girl
- 1:19:47Speaker 6: sweet sixteen. Today, Thank you, thank you, Happy birthday, baby girl.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: But it's not about you, Steve. Come on, King, Well,
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: here's my closing remarks, because.
- 1:19:58Speaker 9: It is.
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: A day to me that symbolizes I've been around the
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: sun sixty seven times.
- 1:20:11Speaker 5: Oh.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: I used to didn't know exactly what that meant. But
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: the older I get, the more I appreciate them trips
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: around the sun. This bird. This birthday is different from
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: all the rest, though, because this birthday I woke up,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: like all birthdays, filled with gratitude. But today is different
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: because today I really gave thought to all of the
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: lessons God has taught me. I really spent some time
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: this morning thinking of all the incredible things He has
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: shown me everything. I started thinking about so many things
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: He's done for me. I ran out of time because
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: I couldn't even It's no way I could list or
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: begin to tell you what all He's done for me.
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: But I would like to share with you some of
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: the things He's shown me. And the one thing I
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: appreciate most about this birthday, I appreciate the strength that
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: God has given me. He has strengthened me and given
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: me a measure of peace that I did not know
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: I could have. You know, and it's a funny thing
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: about God. God don't oftentimes give you what you want.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: He gives you what you need, and that often is
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: the same thing. So you know, when I ask God
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: to strengthen me, he puts me under attack. See, you
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: don't get good at getting strong until you start lifting
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: heavier weight. So he put me under attack. I ask God,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: I want to have a closer relationship with him. So
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: guess what.
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: He put me in a position where I needed him.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: He showed me that it's him and only him, that
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: he is the one factor that I can rely on
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: no matter what happens. He done taught me a lot.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: He's taught me how to deal, how to become more
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: more respectful. He's taught me how to hold my peace.
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: He showed me how to stay on the wall. He's
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: taught me how to let the Lord fight my battles.
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: He really made me understand Isaiah fifty four seventeen that
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: no weapon formed against me, in every tongue that comes
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: against me will be refuted. So guess what, I don't
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: have to respond back no moment. I used to feel
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: like I had to had to set the record straight
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: because I have a public patform and if you talk
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: about me, I can set the record straight. I ain't
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: got to set no record straight. God got me straight.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: God know the truth about me. God bade me and
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: that I don't want to say that to everybody. If
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: you know who you are and who you are, don't
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: let nobody come shake your treat because they said something
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: about you. They put you online, they on Facebook talking
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: about you, and it ain't true. What difference it makes
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: to you. God has shown me so much over the years.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: I thank God for all the life lessons that has
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: made me know the things that I know. What I
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: did not know was why God allowed me to ascend
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: to the heights that I've ascended to and to find
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: they dawned on me what he did. He allowed me
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: to have the rough road that I had, the rough journey,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: so I could learn the lessons that I had. So
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: when He took me to where he was taking me,
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: he made me the person. He put the spirit in
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: me to turn around and share that information with millions
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: of people those who are willing to hear it. So see,
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: I was talking to Judge Matthews one day and he
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: told me one day, he said, you can't be big
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: and small at the same time. See, so when you
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: come under attack, you can't be the same as the
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: people that's attacking you, because then that won't be no difference.
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: There will be no message in it for people who
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: are watching you. So I just hope that I stay
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: and remain the person that God wants me to be,
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: that I stay on the wall. Just because you under
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: attacked on't me and you got to attack back. Let
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: them do what they doing. Man, God got you, God
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: got you, He got me. God has been good to
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: me for sixty seven years. I'm healthy and now have
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: I had some health issues. Yeah, but I'm healthy though.
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: He got me through it. I got a wonderful family.
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: I work hard, I'm elevated. God got me in positions
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: I never thought i'd be in. That's the God I serve.
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: So y'all in your journey in twenty twenty four, know this,
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: Stay as close to God as you possibly can, because
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: God can get you through the roughest, the toughest and
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: the strangest moments, and you'll come out on the other
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: side bigger, stronger, and better than ever. That's all I
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: got to tell you on this birthday that if it
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: was not for us the Lord Almighty, my Lord is Savior,
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: I wouldn't be where I am today. I believe in Him.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: He's mine and I'm his and nothing nobody can do
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: about that. That's my birthday, man, Happy birthday. Tell me
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: I hope you give me a whole lot modo. I
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: really really do have birthday. Steve Harvey, keep it pivving boy,
