- 0:01Speaker 1: And I know Charlie and I spoke about this frequently.
- 0:03Speaker 1: Sort of the irony of the anti fascists these days.
- 0:07Speaker 1: They seem to be taking a lot of playbooks out
- 0:09Speaker 1: of the fascist out of the brown coats. I mean,
- 0:12Speaker 1: if you don't agree with someone, kill them. I mean
- 0:14Speaker 1: that seems quite fascist to me.
- 0:16Speaker 2: This is a forty seven Morning Update special edition with
- 0:19Speaker 2: Ben ferguson.
- 0:21Speaker 3: The coward behind the shooting the assassination of Charlie Kirk
- 0:26Speaker 3: has been caught. We know a lot more about the individual,
- 0:29Speaker 3: including etchings on bullet casings of Charlie Kirk's assassination suspect
- 0:35Speaker 3: saying things like hey, fascist catch. The Utah Governor Spencer
- 0:41Speaker 3: Cock revealed Friday that the bullet casings in the rifle
- 0:45Speaker 3: allegedly used by Tyler Robinson to assassinate Charlie Kirk were
- 0:49Speaker 3: etched with a variety of messages, including one that read,
- 0:54Speaker 3: hey fascists catch. Robinson twenty two was arrested Thirdnesday evening
- 1:01Speaker 3: after a family member turned him in. I want you
- 1:04Speaker 3: to hear from the governor first, and then you're going
- 1:08Speaker 3: to hail her from cash Pttel, the FBI director on
- 1:11Speaker 3: exactly how all of this went down.
- 1:14Speaker 4: Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, we got him. On the
- 1:18Speaker 4: evening of September eleventh, a family member of Tyler Robinson
- 1:22Speaker 4: reached out to a family friend who contacted the Washington
- 1:26Speaker 4: County Sheriff's Office with information that Robinson had confessed to
- 1:30Speaker 4: them or implied that he had committed the incident. This
- 1:34Speaker 4: information was relayed to the Utah County Sheriff's Office and
- 1:37Speaker 4: seen investigators at Utah Valley University. This information was also
- 1:41Speaker 4: conveyed to the FBI. Investigators reviewed additional video footage from
- 1:47Speaker 4: UVU surveillance and identified Robinson arriving on UVU campus in
- 1:52Speaker 4: a Great Dodge Challenger at approximately eight twenty nine am
- 1:56Speaker 4: on September tenth, in which he has observed on video
- 2:00Speaker 4: in a plain maroon T shirt, light colored shorts, a
- 2:03Speaker 4: black hat with a white logo, and light colored shoes.
- 2:07Speaker 4: When encountered in person by investigators in Washington County on
- 2:10Speaker 4: September twelfth in the early morning hours, Robinson was observed
- 2:14Speaker 4: in consistent clothing with those surveillance images. Investigators interviewed a
- 2:20Speaker 4: family member of Robinson, who stated that Robinson had become
- 2:23Speaker 4: more political in recent years. The family member referenced a
- 2:27Speaker 4: recent incident in which Robinson came to dinner prior to
- 2:30Speaker 4: September tenth, and in the conversation with another family member,
- 2:34Speaker 4: Robinson mentioned Charlie Kirk was coming to UVU. They talked
- 2:39Speaker 4: about why they didn't like him and the viewpoints that
- 2:41Speaker 4: he had. The family member also stated Kirk was full
- 2:45Speaker 4: of hate and spreading hate. The family member also confirmed
- 2:49Speaker 4: Robinson had a gray Dodge Challenger. Investigators identified an individual
- 2:54Speaker 4: as the roommate of Robinson. Investigators interviewed that roommate, who
- 2:59Speaker 4: stated that his roommate, referring to Robinson, made a joke
- 3:03Speaker 4: on discord. Investigators asked if he would show them the
- 3:05Speaker 4: messages on discord. He opened it and showed several messages
- 3:09Speaker 4: to investigators and allowed investigators to take photos of the
- 3:12Speaker 4: screen as each message was shown by Robinson's roommate. These
- 3:17Speaker 4: photos consisted of various messages, including content of messages between
- 3:22Speaker 4: the phone contact named Tyler with an emoji icon and
- 3:25Speaker 4: Robinson's roommate's device. The content of these messages included messages
- 3:32Speaker 4: affiliated with the contact Tyler, stating a need to retrieve
- 3:36Speaker 4: a rifle from a drop point, leaving the rifle in
- 3:39Speaker 4: a bush. Messages related to visually watching the area where
- 3:45Speaker 4: a rifle was left, and a message referring to having
- 3:48Speaker 4: left the rifle wrapped in a towel. The messages also
- 3:53Speaker 4: referred to engraving bullets and a mention of a scope
- 3:58Speaker 4: and the rifle being unique. Messages from the contact. Tyler
- 4:02Speaker 4: also mentioned that he had changed outfits. I know there
- 4:07Speaker 4: has been speculation as well as to the writing on
- 4:12Speaker 4: those casings, those those bullet casings, and I believe we
- 4:19Speaker 4: have that as well, and I'll share that with you now.
- 4:23Speaker 4: So the area north of Campus Drive Road where the
- 4:26Speaker 4: suspect crossed over, you saw some of that in the
- 4:29Speaker 4: video that we released last night, consists of a grassy
- 4:32Speaker 4: area with trees on the edge of the UBU campus.
- 4:35Speaker 4: Investigators discovered a bolt action rifle wrapped in a dark
- 4:39Speaker 4: colored towel. The rifle was determined to be a Mouser
- 4:42Speaker 4: Model ninety eight thirty six thirty six caliber bolt action rifle.
- 4:47Speaker 4: The rifle had a scope mounted on top of it.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Investigators noted inscriptions that had been engraved on casings found
- 4:54Speaker 4: with the rifle. Inscriptions on a fired casing read notices
- 5:00Speaker 4: bulge's capital O wo what's this question? Mark Inscriptions on
- 5:06Speaker 4: the three unfired casings read hey fascist, exclamation point, catch
- 5:11Speaker 4: exclamation point, up arrow symbol, right arrow and symbol, and
- 5:17Speaker 4: three down arrow symbols. A second unfired casing read oh
- 5:21Speaker 4: belli chow bella chow belichow chow chow. And a third
- 5:26Speaker 4: unfired casing read if you read this, you are gay LMAO.
- 5:32Speaker 4: We are indebted to law enforcement across the state who
- 5:38Speaker 4: has worked seamlessly together local law enforcement, state law enforcement,
- 5:42Speaker 4: and our federal partners with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
- 5:46Speaker 4: We're grateful for everyone who worked together in such a
- 5:50Speaker 4: short amount of time to find this person and to
- 5:57Speaker 4: bring justice. I want to think the public who has
- 6:00Speaker 4: been so engaged reviewing videos, helping us with sending in tips,
- 6:07Speaker 4: and helping us get to this point. I want to
- 6:10Speaker 4: thank the family members of Tyler Robinson, who did the
- 6:14Speaker 4: right thing in this case and we're able to bring
- 6:18Speaker 4: him in to law enforcement as well. I especially want
- 6:25Speaker 4: to thank the family of Charlie Kirk Erica, Charlie's parents,
- 6:32Speaker 4: his children. I want us to be thinking of them
- 6:35Speaker 4: as we bring justice in this case. They will be
- 6:39Speaker 4: involved in that justice. We will be working very closely
- 6:42Speaker 4: with them as we move through this process as well.
- 6:46Speaker 4: This is a very sad day for again for our country,
- 6:51Speaker 4: a terrible day for the state of Utah. But I'm
- 6:55Speaker 4: grateful that at this moment we have an opportunity to
- 6:57Speaker 4: bring closure to this very dark apter in our nation's history.
- 7:02Speaker 4: With that, I will now turn the turn the microphone
- 7:05Speaker 4: over to the director of the FBI, Cash Pitau.
- 7:09Speaker 5: Thank you, Governor. This is what happens when you let
- 7:12Speaker 5: good cops be cops. The FBI and our partners are
- 7:15Speaker 5: proud to stand here today together to bring justice to
- 7:18Speaker 5: the family of Charlie Kirk in honors memory. I want
- 7:21Speaker 5: to express my deep gratitude to President Trump, the Vice President,
- 7:24Speaker 5: and the entire White House who have been so incredibly
- 7:26Speaker 5: supportive with both resources and just personally to the FBI
- 7:30Speaker 5: as a team. They had our backs the entire way,
- 7:33Speaker 5: and I just want to express my gratitude for giving
- 7:35Speaker 5: us the resources we need to operate in this space
- 7:38Speaker 5: to bring this sort of justice at this sort of speed.
- 7:41Speaker 5: In thirty three hours, we have made historic progress for Charlie.
- 7:46Speaker 5: Governor Cox, our partnership has been absolutely incredible these last
- 7:52Speaker 5: few days. Our partnership will endure. Your state and local partners,
- 7:56Speaker 5: your sheriffs, your DPS community has been unbelievably impressive in
- 8:01Speaker 5: the hardest of times. In a case like this, cannot
- 8:04Speaker 5: be solved, cannot be brought without partnering with your state
- 8:08Speaker 5: and local authorities. The FBI has a certain role to play,
- 8:10Speaker 5: and we will play that role, and we will lead
- 8:13Speaker 5: out for the federal government. But Governor Cox, we are
- 8:15Speaker 5: so grateful for your state partnership that let out on
- 8:18Speaker 5: this investigation. A little bit of the timeline. Charlie was
- 8:21Speaker 5: shot at twelve twenty three pm on Wednesday. The first
- 8:25Speaker 5: FBI agents aren't arrived on scene in sixteen minutes with
- 8:29Speaker 5: chiefs of police at twelve thirty nine and secured the scene.
- 8:33Speaker 5: The FBI immediately launched fixed wing assets. We utilize these
- 8:37Speaker 5: assets to transport personnel, specialty technicians, hasa's rescue teams. We
- 8:41Speaker 5: also utilize these assets to go back and forth from
- 8:44Speaker 5: the East Coast and here in Utah to transport forensic
- 8:47Speaker 5: evidence and other evidence that will be analyzed and is
- 8:49Speaker 5: being analyzed at our FBI laboratories in Quantico and other
- 8:52Speaker 5: laboratories including the ATF and my direction. The FBI released
- 8:56Speaker 5: the first set of FBI photos of the suspect at
- 8:59Speaker 5: ten am local time on nine to eleven. Then shortly thereafter,
- 9:04Speaker 5: the FBI reward of one hundred thousand dollars was released
- 9:06Speaker 5: at ten forty five am Local myself and Deputy Director
- 9:10Speaker 5: bon Gino arrived on the scene at approximately five thirty
- 9:13Speaker 5: PM on nine to eleven. The Governor led a press
- 9:16Speaker 5: conference last night at approximately eight pm, where at my direction,
- 9:20Speaker 5: the FBI released and never before seen video of the suspect.
- 9:24Speaker 5: We also released new images to the public of the suspect,
- 9:29Speaker 5: and just last night, the suspect was taken into custody
- 9:32Speaker 5: at ten pm Local time, in less than thirty six
- 9:35Speaker 5: hours thirty three to be precise, thanks to the full
- 9:39Speaker 5: weight of the federal government and leading out with the
- 9:42Speaker 5: partners here in the state of Utah, Governor Cox, the
- 9:45Speaker 5: suspect was apprehended in historic time period. And I want
- 9:50Speaker 5: to highlight what Governor Cox said, This would not have
- 9:52Speaker 5: been possible without you, the media and you the public.
- 9:55Speaker 5: That's why we went so public so fast, and we're
- 9:58Speaker 5: so transparent, and we're committed to that train parency. The
- 10:01Speaker 5: crime scene just a little bit there. It is a
- 10:03Speaker 5: large crime scene. State and local authorities along with federal authorities,
- 10:07Speaker 5: process that crime scene quickly, and I even had the
- 10:12Speaker 5: ability to walk through that crime scene and walk through
- 10:16Speaker 5: the steps the suspect took to learn more about what
- 10:20Speaker 5: was needed and what resources we needed to brare to
- 10:22Speaker 5: create a full picture for the FBI and leadership back
- 10:25Speaker 5: in Washington. Furthermore, thankfully to state local partners, forensic evidence
- 10:30Speaker 5: has been seized and continues to be garnered. Forensic evidence
- 10:34Speaker 5: has already been evaluated FBI laboratories in Quantico and state
- 10:37Speaker 5: local authorities here. We will continue to process evidence as
- 10:40Speaker 5: we see it, as we collect it, and we will
- 10:42Speaker 5: continue to deliver to Governor Cox and his team. Last night,
- 10:45Speaker 5: we had a total of approximately seven thousand interviews excuse me,
- 10:48Speaker 5: seven thousand leads. As of this morning, thanks to your
- 10:51Speaker 5: great work, we have over eleven thousand leads that were
- 10:55Speaker 5: called in to the FBI, and we are running out
- 10:58Speaker 5: every single lead that we can. Every one of those
- 11:01Speaker 5: leads will be run out. The arrest is a testament
- 11:03Speaker 5: to the dedication of good law enforcement being great and partnerships
- 11:08Speaker 5: in law enforcement which I've tried to highlight as my
- 11:10Speaker 5: tenure at to the Director of the FBI, there is
- 11:13Speaker 5: no better relationship for law enforcement than the FBI to
- 11:16Speaker 5: partner with state and local authorities, and you've seen it
- 11:19Speaker 5: here in these last few days. The FBI Salt Lake
- 11:22Speaker 5: Field Office, along with our offices in La Phoenix, Denver,
- 11:26Speaker 5: San Antonio, Las Vegas, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, our headquarters component in Quantico,
- 11:31Speaker 5: all participate in the FBI. I want to express my
- 11:33Speaker 5: deep gratitude to the employees of the FBI, the men
- 11:37Speaker 5: and women, the evidence response team, tacticians, the special operators,
- 11:41Speaker 5: the agents, the support staff. You have done monumental work
- 11:46Speaker 5: in historic time when the public who had a right
- 11:49Speaker 5: to demand such an expeditious solving of an investigation, the
- 11:54Speaker 5: FBI answered that call, diligently, critically important to our nation
- 12:00Speaker 5: delivered and I'm proud to be their leader, and I'm
- 12:02Speaker 5: proud to be the Director of the FBI. This is
- 12:04Speaker 5: a very much an ongoing investigation, as the governor said,
- 12:07Speaker 5: and we will continue to work with state and local
- 12:09Speaker 5: authorities to develop the investigation, to provide them the evidence
- 12:12Speaker 5: they need for their ongoing prosecutions, and we will be
- 12:16Speaker 5: here to answer every call they absolutely have, as long
- 12:19Speaker 5: as it takes, for as long as we need to
- 12:21Speaker 5: find and apprehend whatever suspects were involved in this crime. Lastly,
- 12:28Speaker 5: to my friend Charlie kirk Rest. Now, brother, we have
- 12:31Speaker 5: the watch and I'll see you in Valhalla.
- 12:34Speaker 3: I got to tell you, it's so nice to see
- 12:36Speaker 3: people in law enforcement and the governor care so much
- 12:39Speaker 3: about justice for this assassination, and knowing that, as Cash
- 12:44Speaker 3: Barttel said it over and over again, this is what
- 12:46Speaker 3: happens to you. Let good people do their jobs in uniform.
- 12:49Speaker 3: The Utah governor, they're revealing the truth about what has
- 12:53Speaker 3: what was said on the bullet casings, and I love
- 12:58Speaker 3: knowing that there are people that aren't trying to cover
- 13:01Speaker 3: things up or whitewash things, or make them somehow different
- 13:04Speaker 3: than what they really are. We're finding out exactly what
- 13:08Speaker 3: happened here. We also know that one of the phrases,
- 13:11Speaker 3: the bella coo phrase, is associated with left wing songs
- 13:15Speaker 3: loosely linked to twentieth century Italian opponents of fascism. We're
- 13:21Speaker 3: going to find out even more about this, But let
- 13:23Speaker 3: me also just say that as sad as I am
- 13:28Speaker 3: over losing my friend Charlie. I am so thankful to
- 13:31Speaker 3: see so many people coming around to love on his family,
- 13:36Speaker 3: to love on his friends, to stand up for what
- 13:39Speaker 3: he stood up for, to stand up for what we
- 13:41Speaker 3: believe in, and to know that this shooter may have
- 13:44Speaker 3: thought they won, but they didn't. They didn't stop us.
- 13:47Speaker 3: They made us stronger. They didn't silence us. They made
- 13:50Speaker 3: us louder. They didn't get rid of Charlie Kirk's voice.
- 13:54Speaker 3: They just added millions and I mean that literally to
- 13:59Speaker 3: continue on with what he was advocating for. I am
- 14:03Speaker 3: so thankful that we live in a country where good
- 14:06Speaker 3: can still overcome evil. There are many out there that
- 14:11Speaker 3: are celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk. Alamo mar for example,
- 14:15Speaker 3: said conservatives who support Charlie Kirk are full of blank
- 14:18Speaker 3: They're also Democrats trying to rewrite history, acting like they
- 14:21Speaker 3: were not the ones that created this environment and this
- 14:25Speaker 3: level of hatred. And I'm glad that they're losing their jobs,
- 14:29Speaker 3: many of them on college campuses have lost their jobs
- 14:32Speaker 3: for what they said celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk,
- 14:35Speaker 3: celebrating the assassination of him, And there's accountability there as well.
- 14:40Speaker 3: I want to talk to you about my friends at
- 14:42Speaker 3: Kirk Elliott Precious Metals. Two days ago, I got my
- 14:46Speaker 3: new order of silver. Now I'm investing in silver right
- 14:49Speaker 3: now because the pricing on it is amazing and the
- 14:52Speaker 3: upside well, it's real. I actually have a one hundred
- 14:57Speaker 3: ounce silver bar. Is actually really cool. It's really heavy
- 15:02Speaker 3: because it's one hundred ounces. But I also know that
- 15:05Speaker 3: I bought it at the right price and I wasn't
- 15:08Speaker 3: paying massive up charges on quote, rare or special coins.
- 15:12Speaker 3: And then when you go to sell them, you take
- 15:14Speaker 3: away all of your earning potential. Why do they do
- 15:17Speaker 3: it this way at Kurt Elliott because they have transparent
- 15:21Speaker 3: pricing up front. It's very simple. You pay eight percent
- 15:25Speaker 3: when you buy, and here's what matters to you the most,
- 15:28Speaker 3: nothing when you sell. There are no hidden fees ever
- 15:33Speaker 3: with Kurt Elliott Precious Metals. This is the reason why
- 15:36Speaker 3: I recommend them. It's not just about investing, it's about
- 15:41Speaker 3: making sure you get more for your money. And that
- 15:44Speaker 3: is exactly why Kurt Elliott helps people all the time.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Whether it's gold or silver, you can hold it, be
- 15:50Speaker 3: a good steward of it, you can pass it on
- 15:52Speaker 3: to future generations and you can build wealth with it.
- 15:56Speaker 3: It's real bullion, never gimmicks, just investment raid gold and silver,
- 16:01Speaker 3: no overpriced coins, no flashy markups. And it's a company
- 16:06Speaker 3: that I love because they are a faith driven company.

- 16:14Speaker 3: like family, offering honest answers up front to help you
- 16:18Speaker 3: make wise informed decisions now. If you're seeking a partner
