This conversation sparked following Sifton Properties request that the Planning and Environment Committee (PEC) extend for three years om a temporary zone that permits surface parking at 221 Queens Ave. This request has been granted for the past 28 years. John Fleming is the City of London's former Managing Director of Planning and is now with Western University's Centre for Urban Policy and Local Governance. He joins Devon Peacock to discuss what downtown London could look like in the future.
