- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things and its not true. Good to mother, Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join Jo. You gotta use that turn you're
- 1:10Speaker 1: going to do? You are you gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out? Turn? You haven't got to turn them out?
- 1:45Speaker 1: Then turn the water the water got Come? Come on
- 1:59Speaker 1: your baby now? Uh huh, I show will good morning
- 2:04Speaker 1: everybody you'll listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got this radio show. Man,
- 2:16Speaker 1: Hi got here. I really can't explain it. Only by
- 2:19Speaker 1: the grace of God, that's all I can really tell you.
- 2:25Speaker 1: I was talking with a buddy the other day and
- 2:27Speaker 1: he was telling me. He said, Man, he had an
- 2:29Speaker 1: interesting philosophy about it. He said. You know, you can
- 2:33Speaker 1: have dreams and visions, he say, but God, God will
- 2:37Speaker 1: never show you what all he has for you. He
- 2:43Speaker 1: won't show you all of it because he knows you
- 2:46Speaker 1: will mess it up. And you know what, man, I
- 2:50Speaker 1: thought about that, And how true is that? Okay? I
- 2:56Speaker 1: know that I got a radio show. I didn't see it.
- 3:01Speaker 1: It's just become this major blessing. For me. I didn't
- 3:04Speaker 1: see it. But if I would have seen it and
- 3:08Speaker 1: known when he had planned on giving it to me,
- 3:12Speaker 1: I would have messed it up because Number one, my
- 3:14Speaker 1: first question would have been to him, why I got
- 3:17Speaker 1: to wait so long? Why don't I go down hill
- 3:21Speaker 1: and start on the radio now? And then I be
- 3:25Speaker 1: in radio and then tidy see that God? But see
- 3:30Speaker 1: the thing about God is God don't need your help
- 3:34Speaker 1: a matter of fact, that he don't really want it.
- 3:36Speaker 1: All he want is you to love him and obey him.
- 3:39Speaker 1: If you can do them two things I think. I
- 3:42Speaker 1: think I could be wrong. I think he'd be really
- 3:44Speaker 1: cool with us. So had I known about these blessings
- 3:50Speaker 1: that he had for me, I would have messed him
- 3:52Speaker 1: up because I would have put my thinking in the
- 3:55Speaker 1: figuring process, and that would have jacked it all up.
- 3:59Speaker 1: That's the first thing I asked him, Why I gotta
- 4:01Speaker 1: wait so long? And then if he has shown me
- 4:04Speaker 1: what I was gonna have to do to get it,
- 4:07Speaker 1: I would have showed messed that up. Man, I ain't
- 4:08Speaker 1: gonna do that. I ain't gonna do all of that.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Wait a minute, I got to go through all of
- 4:14Speaker 1: these mishaps in my life. So when I get the
- 4:17Speaker 1: radio show, I have something to share. Man, why don't
- 4:22Speaker 1: I just read a couple of books and share that
- 4:24Speaker 1: experience with them? Now, See, I want you to know
- 4:28Speaker 1: what you're talking about. I want you to be transparent.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I want people to be able to identify with your
- 4:35Speaker 1: struggle and apply they struggle to it and see that
- 4:38Speaker 1: they can get over. See. God never shows you all
- 4:42Speaker 1: of it because he know will mess it up. I
- 4:45Speaker 1: wouldn't have any books. I certainly please know, I would
- 4:49Speaker 1: not be the host of Family Field. Can't tell you that.
- 4:54Speaker 1: It is amazing man, how God works. And my invitation
- 4:58Speaker 1: to everybody today is allow God to work. You know,
- 5:03Speaker 1: you can ask him why all you want to. And
- 5:05Speaker 1: from time to time I still do no good for me,
- 5:09Speaker 1: But that old why me, old woe is me? Lord?
- 5:11Speaker 1: Thing that don't really get it for me, because when
- 5:14Speaker 1: I start asking him why, I'm asking somebody who has
- 5:17Speaker 1: a thought process so high above mine that there's no
- 5:21Speaker 1: way if he told it to me, I wouldn't even
- 5:22Speaker 1: get it. You wouldn't need I don't how bright you
- 5:25Speaker 1: think you are, man, you just ain't gonna get how
- 5:28Speaker 1: and why he does it his way. You're not going
- 5:30Speaker 1: to understand it. But he has a plan for each
- 5:34Speaker 1: and every one of us. And if we adhere to
- 5:36Speaker 1: the plan, if we submit ourselves to his will and
- 5:39Speaker 1: just say, Okay, God, what you want me to do?
- 5:41Speaker 1: I am telling you it is the best way to live. Now.
- 5:46Speaker 1: You can also do it the way I did it
- 5:48Speaker 1: early on. You can just do what you want to
- 5:52Speaker 1: do and see how I go from now. And I
- 5:54Speaker 1: will tell you from personal experience, it's not going to
- 5:58Speaker 1: go good. You know, my wife and I were talking
- 6:02Speaker 1: the other day and she said something women. I had
- 6:04Speaker 1: to write it down. She says, Steve, you know the
- 6:07Speaker 1: funny thing about sin? She says, sin casts you more
- 6:11Speaker 1: than you want to pay and causes you to stay
- 6:14Speaker 1: longer than you want to stay. I ask my wife
- 6:20Speaker 1: where she got di from. She says, some old person
- 6:22Speaker 1: told it to it. She says, sin casts you more
- 6:25Speaker 1: than you want to pay and causes you to stay
- 6:28Speaker 1: longer than you want to stay. That's the problem, man,
- 6:31Speaker 1: about doing what you want to do. Because we are
- 6:34Speaker 1: all sinners. Man, all of us, all of us, every
- 6:37Speaker 1: last one of us are sinners. You will be a
- 6:39Speaker 1: sinner until you die. Now you could be saved by grace.
- 6:43Speaker 1: But you're going to be a sinner man. You are
- 6:45Speaker 1: going to make mistakes. You are going to in your
- 6:50Speaker 1: life knowingly do wrong. I bet you will. I don't
- 6:54Speaker 1: know who you think you are. I don't know who
- 6:56Speaker 1: you've been listening to. But get this, we are sinners.
- 7:01Speaker 1: We were born into a world that is sinful. Now
- 7:05Speaker 1: it's okay, it's okay, it's our world. But we can
- 7:09Speaker 1: make the best of it because we can form a
- 7:11Speaker 1: relationship with God and we can go to war with
- 7:14Speaker 1: this thing, you know, and we can win. You can
- 7:17Speaker 1: actually get over. Being born into this world is not
- 7:21Speaker 1: an end all. That doesn't mean you're doomed, nah man,
- 7:25Speaker 1: because God is available to give you life, and not
- 7:28Speaker 1: only give you life, but give it to you more abundantly.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I have more of an abundant life than I've ever had.
- 7:35Speaker 1: If you took away the finances, trust and believe, I
- 7:40Speaker 1: have so many things I could tell you that I'm
- 7:42Speaker 1: grateful for. For my wife, for my children, man, for
- 7:47Speaker 1: my family, for the few friends that I have, for
- 7:52Speaker 1: the work that I do, man for the respect that
- 7:56Speaker 1: some people that I feel around some people from the
- 7:59Speaker 1: reputation I've earned. Now I ain't cool with everybody. I
- 8:03Speaker 1: got that. I'm cool. I ain't cool with everybody. Everybody
- 8:06Speaker 1: ain't cool with me. Everybody don't like me. Man, get
- 8:09Speaker 1: past that right there. I don't care what you do.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Everybody ain't gonna like you. Some people didn't like Jesus.
- 8:15Speaker 1: What did he do? What did he do wrong to anybody?
- 8:22Speaker 1: Show it to me where he was just out there,
- 8:25Speaker 1: just messing over folks, and you could justify all that
- 8:28Speaker 1: happened to him. Just show it to me. But he
- 8:31Speaker 1: knew everybody ain't gonna like me. I just come to
- 8:35Speaker 1: save y'all. You understand, I got you. Ain't feeling me.
- 8:39Speaker 1: You're gonna spit on me. You're gonna hang me up there,
- 8:42Speaker 1: You're gonna pierce my side. You're gonna do all that
- 8:44Speaker 1: to me. When you get through, I still love you.
- 8:47Speaker 1: That's a powerful statement. Man, God will take care of
- 8:50Speaker 1: you if you form this relationship with him. He has
- 8:55Speaker 1: something for you. He has a plan for you that
- 8:58Speaker 1: is beyond your magic, your nation. He will give you
- 9:01Speaker 1: the desires of your heart. But he also has some
- 9:04Speaker 1: stuff in store for you that you're not even asking for.
- 9:08Speaker 1: That he is willing to ship to an address that
- 9:12Speaker 1: belongs to you. As long as you stay on the
- 9:16Speaker 1: right path and are trying your best, God to ship
- 9:20Speaker 1: you to blessing anywhere. Because please know He's done it
- 9:22Speaker 1: to me. I'm a living witness to this that God
- 9:24Speaker 1: will ship you blessings and you ain't gonna be perfect.
- 9:27Speaker 1: But if he know your heart, man, if he know
- 9:30Speaker 1: you trying to do better, if he see you trying
- 9:33Speaker 1: to change, if he see you trying to get it right,
- 9:36Speaker 1: he understands that you're gonna stumble all the way through
- 9:39Speaker 1: this thing. But if he know your heart and he
- 9:42Speaker 1: know you trying to get it right, and you're doing
- 9:45Speaker 1: the best you can, boy, here ships some stuff your way. Man,
- 9:48Speaker 1: you really be tripping, man, you would really be tripping.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man. It's crazy, ain't it.

- 13:59Speaker 1: That's his real name. Just found that out. Next hour.
- 14:01Speaker 1: But right now it is time for I asked the clo.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Are you ready, clo, Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey. All right,
- 14:10Speaker 1: here we go. This one's from K dub and Tallahassee
- 14:13Speaker 1: K dub says. I'm a forty four year old single
- 14:16Speaker 1: dad and my eleven year old caught my girlfriend and
- 14:19Speaker 1: I having sex in the back seat of my tahoe.
- 14:22Speaker 1: We snuck out to the car, trying to be spontaneous
- 14:26Speaker 1: and kinky, and my daughter came to get her iPad
- 14:29Speaker 1: that was on the front seat. My girlfriend went to
- 14:32Speaker 1: talk to my daughter, and my daughter told her that
- 14:34Speaker 1: she is a ho, just like her mama says she is.
- 14:39Speaker 1: I wanted to beat her behind, but I couldn't after
- 14:42Speaker 1: what she had just said. My girlfriend had been putting
- 14:46Speaker 1: up with my evil ex wife for a while, and
- 14:49Speaker 1: she told me I need to handle her. I'm only
- 14:51Speaker 1: concerned with making sure my daughter is good. Am I
- 14:54Speaker 1: wrong for only focusing on her cello? Well, you can't
- 14:59Speaker 1: do nothing with your ex you you can stop that.
- 15:05Speaker 1: You don't tell her that she a hoe. She doesn't
- 15:09Speaker 1: told her and she repeated it because that's what your
- 15:13Speaker 1: mother did put into eleven year old head. You have
- 15:16Speaker 1: to talk to your eleven year old about respecting other
- 15:19Speaker 1: people with the name calling. Now, let's look at a
- 15:24Speaker 1: couple of things. First of all, you forty some years old,
- 15:28Speaker 1: does your name still have to be K dubbed that
- 15:34Speaker 1: we get something a little more a dubb so we
- 15:39Speaker 1: can get into full time parody. Goss, K dub it's
- 15:45Speaker 1: kind of hard ask K dub to be into full
- 15:50Speaker 1: time parody, and K dubbed you was outside in the
- 15:55Speaker 1: car screwing. You do understand that the eleven year old
- 16:03Speaker 1: having a computer and can go right in the house
- 16:05Speaker 1: and look all this up on a computer has a very,
- 16:10Speaker 1: very young mind. But these young minds were exposed to
- 16:13Speaker 1: a lot more than we were when we were eleven. So, brother,
- 16:16Speaker 1: your only focus is your daughter. I don't know what
- 16:20Speaker 1: you say to your daughter though, if she catches you
- 16:23Speaker 1: having sex with the girl that your wife ex wife
- 16:26Speaker 1: told h was a hole. Now she was outside in
- 16:29Speaker 1: the car whole in should have locked the doors, locked
- 16:36Speaker 1: the dough What I got to do with the damn
- 16:39Speaker 1: wonder you can see I've seen in a whole lot
- 16:41Speaker 1: of cars when the door was locked. Oh yeah, all right, Well, dad, girl,
- 16:50Speaker 1: you have to talk to your baby hang dog, Yeah
- 16:54Speaker 1: kay do Sammy and Raleigh says, I'm a sixty seven
- 17:01Speaker 1: year old widow and I've started dating again, but my
- 17:05Speaker 1: children don't think I should because it's too dangerous. I
- 17:08Speaker 1: have an estate and a few nice cars, and they
- 17:10Speaker 1: seem to think I can't handle myself around men. Men.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I was on a date the other night and my
- 17:15Speaker 1: date happened to be driving my car. My pastor saw
- 17:19Speaker 1: it and told my son. My son said that no
- 17:21Speaker 1: other man should be in his father's car. Well, everything
- 17:25Speaker 1: my husband left me here on earth is all mine now,
- 17:28Speaker 1: and I need my children to settle down. The pastor too,
- 17:32Speaker 1: How can I get my children to ease up and
- 17:35Speaker 1: trust my judgment? Your son ain'ten to go for the
- 17:38Speaker 1: dude driving the cars, daddy head. He just not going
- 17:41Speaker 1: to accept that, you know. And you need a data
- 17:44Speaker 1: man that has a car of his own. If y'all
- 17:48Speaker 1: have been picking him up with the church bus, that's
- 17:50Speaker 1: probably why the pastor mentioned mission. We normally brother Perkins
- 17:58Speaker 1: in the church vane. Now he didn't pull it up
- 18:01Speaker 1: in Sister row Sidney, Sister Sammie call. Now she gave
- 18:06Speaker 1: he all up and Sis Sami's car and it just
- 18:10Speaker 1: ain't a good look. Yeah, you have to be conscious,
- 18:14Speaker 1: be aware. You have an estate. Now, people could be
- 18:17Speaker 1: using you for the wrong reasons, that's all. Yeah, just
- 18:20Speaker 1: be careful. But she wants. She thinks she's got it together.
- 18:23Speaker 1: She wants in the trust her judgment. That's what she's doing. Yeah,
- 18:27Speaker 1: you don't bad judgment. Her husband passed. I don't know
- 18:31Speaker 1: how long she says she how long she says she's
- 18:33Speaker 1: been a widow. She just says she's a widow. She
- 18:36Speaker 1: started dating again. She didn't say it's a bad look.
- 18:42Speaker 1: The son is not going to accept the other man
- 18:44Speaker 1: driving the daddy's car. Buy his own, damn car. Data
- 18:47Speaker 1: man with a car. Yeah, I like that advice. All right,
- 18:52Speaker 1: my daddy truck. But she said it's hers now because
- 18:56Speaker 1: their daddy left it to her. All right. Tab in Michigan,
- 19:00Speaker 1: and his name is Tab. Her name is Tab. I'm
- 19:03Speaker 1: a thirty year old, full figured cutie with my own
- 19:06Speaker 1: business and I just met a great guy. But we've
- 19:09Speaker 1: never been out on a public date. The first six dates,
- 19:12Speaker 1: he bought food, I cooked, and he stayed overnight. We've
- 19:15Speaker 1: been dating three months and I've only been to his
- 19:17Speaker 1: house once and he ordered takeout. All we do is
- 19:21Speaker 1: eat and have sex. I invited him to a drive
- 19:25Speaker 1: in movie last weekend and he said no because of
- 19:27Speaker 1: COVID nineteen. He goes out with his friends and he's
- 19:31Speaker 1: not concerned about COVID. Then I think he loves having
- 19:34Speaker 1: sex with big girls but wants to keep it a secret.
- 19:37Speaker 1: What do you think? Come on, thank you? Absolutely right? Yeah,
- 19:40Speaker 1: thank you, absolutely right. But let's look how your date started.
- 19:44Speaker 1: You invited him over, you cooked, he spent a night
- 19:47Speaker 1: y'all has six. He invites you over to his house.
- 19:51Speaker 1: He get takeout, y'all, eat and have some most sex.
- 19:56Speaker 1: That's what he liked, and that's what you liked. Some
- 20:00Speaker 1: foods all, y'all, din was set it. Yeah, you gotta
- 20:04Speaker 1: reset this because this is not going the way you want.
- 20:08Speaker 1: No six days, nothing but eating is six. Yeah, they've
- 20:13Speaker 1: never been anywhere. That bring up a movie. That's crazy.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Sound like a great relationship, you know, get out of
- 20:23Speaker 1: that kitchen girl, full figure cutie, all right, so what
- 20:31Speaker 1: do you tell her, Steve? I don't doubt that you
- 20:33Speaker 1: a full figure cute is nothing wrong with that. But
- 20:36Speaker 1: you can be a slim goodie and whatever you want
- 20:39Speaker 1: to call yourself. Once you start with the we eating
- 20:41Speaker 1: and having sex, that's it. Yeah, yeah, all right, thank you? Yeah,
- 20:48Speaker 1: great advice as usual. Coming up next, Nephew Tommy's run
- 20:53Speaker 1: that prank back right after this. Ye you're listening to
- 20:59Speaker 1: show coming up at the top of the hour, miss,
- 21:02Speaker 1: and we'll have today's national news plus next hour, a
- 21:05Speaker 1: very special guest is Jeez. That's right, Jeez will tell
- 21:09Speaker 1: us all about his new show on Fox Soul, his
- 21:11Speaker 1: upcoming Versus battle, and his work with First Lady Michelle Obama.
- 21:15Speaker 1: When we all vote Jay Jeez Jenkins coming up at
- 21:18Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour. But right now the nephew
- 21:21Speaker 1: is here with run that prank back? What you got
- 21:23Speaker 1: for us, Nap, It's time to get to these nappy
- 21:26Speaker 1: roots right now. A lot of people out there would
- 21:31Speaker 1: have It's different. I know you are not your hair.
- 21:33Speaker 1: You know you think you INDI re whatever. But this
- 21:36Speaker 1: right here is nappy hair. Nappy hair. Let's go, cat Doll. Hello, Hello,

- 22:06Speaker 1: no problem. Hey listen, um, I was getting your call.

- 22:12Speaker 1: the school, you know, being a private school and all,
- 22:15Speaker 1: and we the black parents, we all got together and
- 22:18Speaker 1: had a meeting a couple of nights ago. Okay, you said,
- 22:21Speaker 1: all the black parents. Okay, I wasn't there. Why wasn't
- 22:24Speaker 1: our call? Uh, well, we actually had a meeting about
- 22:27Speaker 1: your daughter, Kaylen. Oh well what about Kaylin? She is
- 22:31Speaker 1: there a problem at school and she's claiming there's something
- 22:33Speaker 1: I don't even know about. What's what's going on with? Well, actually,
- 22:36Speaker 1: we're you know, we feel privileged to be you know,
- 22:39Speaker 1: you know, like I said, there's only a handful of blacks,
- 22:41Speaker 1: and we try to carry ourselves in a dignified way,
- 22:44Speaker 1: our presence, our attitude, the way we handle ourselves. And uh,
- 22:49Speaker 1: you know, Kaylin's doing very good in school, but want
- 22:51Speaker 1: I understand, and very nice with all the rest of
- 22:53Speaker 1: the kids. She's getting along. That's not the problem. What
- 22:55Speaker 1: we're what we're trying to get is the groom of Kaylin.
- 23:00Speaker 1: You know, Kaylin has these braids, and what we were
- 23:04Speaker 1: trying to do is give You know, we had a
- 23:06Speaker 1: meeting about it. I'm hold of Did you just say
- 23:10Speaker 1: her grooming something wrong with her grooming? Well, it's not
- 23:13Speaker 1: necessarily her clothing, of course, you know the kids were
- 23:15Speaker 1: the uniforms, but the braids. You know, we want to
- 23:19Speaker 1: represent ourselves with a lot of dignity the way we
- 23:22Speaker 1: carry ourselves. We want to be um, you know, pretty
- 23:26Speaker 1: much nice and clean, spitting polished. We would really prefer
- 23:29Speaker 1: her hair was straight and opposed to being braided up,
- 23:32Speaker 1: you know, I mean it kind of gives off a
- 23:35Speaker 1: ghetto type of look to it, and that's what we're
- 23:37Speaker 1: trying to avoid. Are you crazy? It's something wrong with you.
- 23:42Speaker 1: You know, First of all, how the hell you get
- 23:43Speaker 1: my num? If you couldn't call me for the meeting,
- 23:46Speaker 1: why you calling me now? Like I said, man, the
- 23:48Speaker 1: meeting was to get the general consensus on where all
- 23:51Speaker 1: the parents feeling the same way about your daughter and
- 23:53Speaker 1: her braids. You know, we're just trying to keep everything classy.
- 23:57Speaker 1: When it comes to the blacks that attend of school,
- 23:59Speaker 1: it's only ten of us, you know, ten children attending.
- 24:02Speaker 1: I'll tell you what you can attend. You could what
- 24:04Speaker 1: you can attend to. Is this phone hanging up in
- 24:07Speaker 1: your face? You tell up the parents, all of them
- 24:11Speaker 1: for me. Y'all can go straight and hit rock bottom
- 24:13Speaker 1: out of hell. Talk about my child with her braids.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Her braids are ethnic, they are nice. She is wearing
- 24:19Speaker 1: grooms and I don't know how in the hell you
- 24:21Speaker 1: got my telephone number. But tell all the parents for
- 24:24Speaker 1: me to kiss the crack am out. You know what. Listen,
- 24:27Speaker 1: First of all, I don't like the way that you're
- 24:28Speaker 1: talking to me. Okay, I carry myself with class, with dignity.
- 24:32Speaker 1: I'm spitting polish man subject. You call me a ghetto
- 24:41Speaker 1: as her hairstyle, and let me say something real ghetto
- 24:44Speaker 1: to your Okay, you and all parents can hit rock
- 24:48Speaker 1: Some'm out of hell. Don't call me no more with
- 24:51Speaker 1: no like this. This is ignorant. I'm far beyond this.
- 24:55Speaker 1: My child is well groomed. She is going to go
- 24:57Speaker 1: to as a matter of fact, as much money that costs,
- 25:00Speaker 1: because go there too. Y'all should have been meeting on
- 25:02Speaker 1: how we can get together and pay the tuition. How
- 25:04Speaker 1: about fact? Are you trying to sit here and tell
- 25:06Speaker 1: me that you got a problem taking her brains down
- 25:08Speaker 1: and wearing her hair straight so she can look a
- 25:10Speaker 1: lot more classy than what she looks right now. At
- 25:13Speaker 1: your pathetic look that she's having right now, you know
- 25:15Speaker 1: what I don't. What's your hair looked like? Take a
- 25:18Speaker 1: picture of your self and send it to me texted
- 25:20Speaker 1: to me since you get folks phoned numbs and give
- 25:22Speaker 1: it to you. Take a picture of your stelth and
- 25:24Speaker 1: texted to me. I bet you you look like who
- 25:26Speaker 1: would have parted. My daughter's braids are gonna stay up
- 25:29Speaker 1: for the rest of the years. As a matter of fact,
- 25:32Speaker 1: we ain't gonna rebraided. It's gonna stay that way so
- 25:34Speaker 1: it can be madd at and represent that's what we're
- 25:37Speaker 1: gonna do. Francis listening. I don't I don't want to argue.
- 25:40Speaker 1: I just wanted to call and see if we can actually,
- 25:42Speaker 1: you know, come to a medium on this. Do you
- 25:44Speaker 1: think that there's a possibility that I mean, when I'm
- 25:48Speaker 1: I'm picking up DJ tomorrow after school, it would it
- 25:52Speaker 1: be all right if I picked up little Kaylin and
- 25:55Speaker 1: brought her home and let my wife do our hair. Please.
- 25:58Speaker 1: I whish that he would pick my start up and
- 26:02Speaker 1: see what the hell I do I'm gonna call my
- 26:04Speaker 1: husband's him to come over your house and whoop your
- 26:07Speaker 1: after he braids yo, as I wish you would pick
- 26:11Speaker 1: up my thought, I call the police on. As a
- 26:13Speaker 1: matter of fact, you're gonna have to call the police
- 26:15Speaker 1: on me and my husband Steward and see what happens. Ma'am.
- 26:18Speaker 1: I'm just trying to get some class here. That's all
- 26:21Speaker 1: we're wanting. We're not wanting to fight with you. It's
- 26:23Speaker 1: just the blacks here. We think that we want a
- 26:25Speaker 1: little bit more classy look of the way we are. Groom.
- 26:28Speaker 1: That's the only thing we're looking for. The only person
- 26:31Speaker 1: who's gonna be taking the classes. And when we get
- 26:33Speaker 1: to whoop, you're gonna be taking the class? How about bad? Yeah,
- 26:37Speaker 1: I can't stand up like you. Y'all get five dollars
- 26:42Speaker 1: and one penny in your box and think you better
- 26:45Speaker 1: than everybody as your to get where you came from it.
- 26:47Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, what's your suggest? What's your name?
- 26:50Speaker 1: Because I'm calling the princess on your day, give me
- 26:53Speaker 1: your name and mister hoole, what's your name? Uh, that's
- 26:58Speaker 1: that's that's that's that's not that's not really what my
- 27:00Speaker 1: name is. But that's what told me when you first

- 28:19Speaker 1: I'm saying. She was not having it. If your baby napping. Yeah,
- 28:26Speaker 1: and as soon as my husband come on, he gonna
- 28:28Speaker 1: come with that beat your ass and braid yo'll have.

- 29:15Speaker 1: in National News. Right after this, you're listening to Steve
- 29:19Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Coming up in twenty minutes. Geez will
- 29:23Speaker 1: be our very special guests. We're gonna talk to Jez
- 29:25Speaker 1: about voting, his upcoming versus battle and also his involvement
- 29:30Speaker 1: in the voting movement. But first in today's entertainment news.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Last night was the BEET Hip Hop Awards, which you
- 29:37Speaker 1: got Carla. While we were watching it, Shirley, we were
- 29:40Speaker 1: on the phone. We kind of all talk to each
- 29:42Speaker 1: other with texting each other while we were watching the
- 29:44Speaker 1: bt Hip Hop Awards. We have to give a shout
- 29:47Speaker 1: out to eighty five South and big up the boys. Yes,
- 29:53Speaker 1: we love them so much, proud of them, man, and
- 29:57Speaker 1: we got to shout out our very own cat Dog.
- 29:59Speaker 1: He's our production director, but you know he was behind
- 30:02Speaker 1: the scene. Yeah, that's the first of any award show
- 30:09Speaker 1: I've ever seen where pretty much an improv troupe hosted
- 30:14Speaker 1: the show, a group of comedians. I thought it was
- 30:18Speaker 1: outstanding because what I've seen a lot of their shows
- 30:21Speaker 1: on eighty five South. Yeah, my son Broderick introduced me
- 30:24Speaker 1: to him and everything. I knew nothing about it. And
- 30:27Speaker 1: then of course, you know, I don't really know how
- 30:31Speaker 1: much a choice it was, but you know, you ain't
- 30:34Speaker 1: telling me damn jokes. You know, he we appreciate it,
- 30:40Speaker 1: but let us do this right here, and that's how
- 30:43Speaker 1: it started. But but I've known what they've been trying
- 30:46Speaker 1: to do for a long time. It was just the
- 30:47Speaker 1: first I've ever seen a comedy trio host a show.
- 30:52Speaker 1: You know, the Kings didn't do it, so to watch
- 30:55Speaker 1: that was really amazing me And said, did the first
- 30:58Speaker 1: beat a wall? The first good? And said the first
- 31:03Speaker 1: two very funny. Yeah, yeah, but you know, I've never
- 31:07Speaker 1: seen a comedy trio it's really the Hip Hop Awards.
- 31:10Speaker 1: That's cool. Yeah, really good. Tell him, you guys. Shout
- 31:13Speaker 1: out to DC, Young Flod, Carlos, Chico Bean. Did y'all
- 31:16Speaker 1: see DC skating? So I love him? I love him heart, Yes, yes, yes.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Shout out to O TI and Monica. They came through
- 31:28Speaker 1: you know the tramp House. You know with the crew
- 31:31Speaker 1: they had virtual cipher. Tommy, we were talking about the ciphers.
- 31:34Speaker 1: They had one with Skip Marley. That ladies cipher was good. Yeah,
- 31:39Speaker 1: you saw one with Jack Harlow. You know that's the
- 31:41Speaker 1: guy was popped. I didn't know ye ignorant when you
- 31:49Speaker 1: saw Snoop Dogg. He presented master Pe with me. I
- 31:53Speaker 1: am Hip Hop Awards. So you knew the legends in
- 31:56Speaker 1: the game. And then of course your boy Toby knew
- 31:59Speaker 1: wigw he formed your jam a little bit of a trigy.
- 32:03Speaker 1: I knew it. I wouldn't gonna get the title lot
- 32:05Speaker 1: come on, come on, because I find it's my jam man. Yeah,
- 32:16Speaker 1: Toby was rocking. Uh, I like to set. It was
- 32:18Speaker 1: this mint green look they had on and he had
- 32:22Speaker 1: black lives. It's always dramatic. It's a sweet dramatic. He
- 32:25Speaker 1: got this it's like, yeah, it's like a scene. Yeah, yep.
- 32:30Speaker 1: So shout out to Big Sean. He performed Detroit Going On.
- 32:34Speaker 1: It was cool though it was virtual, but it was
- 32:36Speaker 1: all good. It was very entertaining. So shout out again
- 32:39Speaker 1: an eighty five softcat Dog, the whole crew. All right,
- 32:41Speaker 1: let's go Steve. Time for today's headlines. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 32:45Speaker 1: Miss Anne Tripp, thank you, thank you for everybody. Here
- 32:48Speaker 1: we go. President Trump campaigned in Lansing, Michigan, yesterday, focusing
- 32:52Speaker 1: of course, on Joe Biden, on COVID nineteen curfews and lockdowns,
- 32:56Speaker 1: and on Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitner. It's a choice between
- 32:59Speaker 1: a Trump boom or a Biden lockdown. But you're already lockdown.
- 33:04Speaker 1: I mean this state, we gotta get her going. I
- 33:07Speaker 1: don't know. Governor Whitman reportedly feels that Donald Trump's constant
- 33:10Speaker 1: criticisms of her efforts to contain and reduce the coronavirus
- 33:14Speaker 1: in her state may be partly responsible or maybe mostly
- 33:18Speaker 1: responsible for the recently foiled kidnap plot against her. Meanwhile,
- 33:22Speaker 1: new coronavirus cases have begun to really climb all over
- 33:25Speaker 1: the country. Joe Biden, who was in Georgia yesterday, told
- 33:28Speaker 1: support is that that is why Trump wants to talk
- 33:31Speaker 1: about put down, shuts downs, and closing rather than actually
- 33:34Speaker 1: talking about the virus itself. Its chief of staff just
- 33:37Speaker 1: last week made a stunning admission, an admission I believe
- 33:41Speaker 1: but never thought he'd say, saying, quote, We're not going
- 33:46Speaker 1: to control the pandemic end of quote. Biden says that's
- 33:48Speaker 1: basically throwing in the towel or waving a white flag.
- 33:51Speaker 1: According to the Miami Herald, a local minister, pastor Rohnda Thomas,
- 33:56Speaker 1: a director of Faith in Florida, says that Miami cops
- 33:59Speaker 1: have been trying to intendidate black and Latin X voters
- 34:01Speaker 1: into either leaving pole sits or voting for Donald Trump.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Pastor Thomas accuses one officer, whom she identifies as Daniel Ubeta,
- 34:09Speaker 1: of showing up at a polling site wearing a face
- 34:11Speaker 1: mask reading Trump twenty twenty No more bullcrap. Of course,
- 34:16Speaker 1: crap was not the word exactly used. Two of the
- 34:19Speaker 1: grand jurors who decided charges in the police killing of
- 34:21Speaker 1: Brianna Taylors say they sink the three white Louisville cops
- 34:25Speaker 1: involved were both negligent and criminal, and they tell CBS
- 34:29Speaker 1: that Attorney General Daniel Cameron misled the public when he
- 34:32Speaker 1: claimed that the grand jurors all agreed that murder charges
- 34:35Speaker 1: against the cops were not warranted. They say that was
- 34:38Speaker 1: not true. They didn't all agree and never was true.
- 34:41Speaker 1: A Phoenix caught me while under both a criminal and
- 34:43Speaker 1: departmental investigation, accused of making a quote credible thread of
- 34:47Speaker 1: violence against the Mayor of Phoenix, Kate Galgo, because Gallego
- 34:51Speaker 1: has been pushing for police reform, offers to Steve Poulis,
- 34:54Speaker 1: is denying the allegation. Sad news America has lost another hero.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Muskegee airman Reginald Brewster has died at age one hundred three.
- 35:03Speaker 1: He served in World War Two. His family says he
- 35:05Speaker 1: died peacefully on Monday. Brewster was stationed in England and France.
- 35:10Speaker 1: He assisted the base commanders. He said he was treated
- 35:13Speaker 1: better in Europe than here in his home country. After
- 35:15Speaker 1: coming back, he went to law school and was a
- 35:17Speaker 1: practicing lawyer until he was ninety years old. Dodgers won
- 35:20Speaker 1: the World Series for the first time since nineteen eighty eight,
- 35:23Speaker 1: and his National Chocolate Day a cho out back to
- 35:28Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening show Everybody, Our special guest,
- 35:35Speaker 1: without a doubt, is one of the front runners of
- 35:38Speaker 1: Rap in the South. He's a songwriter too, He's an actor, philanthropist.
- 35:45Speaker 1: He's been by my side a lot lately as one
- 35:48Speaker 1: of the mentors from my foundation's annual mentoring program. And
- 35:52Speaker 1: I really, really really appreciate how this brother shows up
- 35:55Speaker 1: man for these young men and their lives at critical
- 35:59Speaker 1: points and always gilds back. I've never called on him,
- 36:03Speaker 1: and he didn't answer the call. Man. He's got a

- 36:23Speaker 1: more about that. But ladies and gentlemen, Okay, mister Jay
- 36:27Speaker 1: Jessy Jakins, j j J. Hey, I'm the best at it.

- 36:48Speaker 1: to you again. Man. We've been talking a lot lately, man,
- 36:52Speaker 1: because here's what we're calling about. It. You got a

- 37:42Speaker 1: world class fisherman from what I'm hearing too, dog, you
- 37:46Speaker 1: know how you get down missus Steve Harvey later to
- 37:49Speaker 1: gentleman all the time, somebody you know, somebody one day. Yeah,
- 37:59Speaker 1: that was good. I'm trying to share. But man, I

- 38:18Speaker 1: feel like, you know, if you're sitting on your untie poils,
- 38:21Speaker 1: you're sitting in the barber shop, you know you're most
- 38:24Speaker 1: likely talking to like minded people and people to see
- 38:27Speaker 1: situations the same. For me, I've prided myself and I
- 38:31Speaker 1: accomplished a lot of things being able to get in
- 38:33Speaker 1: the right homes and get information that you just don't get,
- 38:36Speaker 1: you know, just around the way. Uh, we'll be back

- 40:18Speaker 1: I feel like, you know, like you know, that's my brother.
- 40:20Speaker 1: I'm always gonna be that. You know, we do what
- 40:22Speaker 1: we do, and I'd be like, you know, I feel
- 40:24Speaker 1: like we both have something different to bring to the game.
- 40:26Speaker 1: And he might bring his catalogs to the verses, but
- 40:29Speaker 1: I'm bringing real life. You know, everything that I talked about.
- 40:33Speaker 1: You know, somebody can relate to it because it's real.
- 40:36Speaker 1: And for me, I just feel like it's gonna be
- 40:38Speaker 1: a celebration for Atlanta. It's gonna be a celebration for music.
- 40:41Speaker 1: And you know, I ain't come to play, you know,
- 40:43Speaker 1: I'm just you know, you know, hey, I'm gonna stand.
- 40:47Speaker 1: I'mna standing with and for me at all times. You know,
- 40:50Speaker 1: I know, I know what it's about. I got blood,
- 40:52Speaker 1: sweening tears my bars. Baby, you know what I'm saying.
- 41:00Speaker 1: It ain't never been just music to me. You know,
- 41:02Speaker 1: it might catalog it's some mother, but you know that,
- 41:07Speaker 1: right's my testimony. I wouldn't. I wouldn't be here when
- 41:11Speaker 1: I went through so everything I ever said, I still don't.
- 41:14Speaker 1: I'm looking forward to it though, you know I'm looking forward.
- 41:16Speaker 1: I'm ready, you know. So we mans got mine on
- 41:22Speaker 1: my dog, Big snow. All I got all my chips
- 41:27Speaker 1: is up at the window. Big snow avalanche to be
- 41:30Speaker 1: exactly like that blizzard of seventy seven. I was in
- 41:35Speaker 1: Cleveland when it happened. Thirty six inches of snow. That's
- 41:38Speaker 1: big ass snow. Hey man, look one more thing. Uh,
- 41:43Speaker 1: You've done a lot of work with the first Lady
- 41:45Speaker 1: Michelle Obama and and and the putting the content and
- 41:48Speaker 1: the program. When we all vote, what message do you
- 41:51Speaker 1: have for our listeners tonight to make sure that you
- 41:56Speaker 1: that they get the message. I just feel like, you know.
- 42:00Speaker 1: And I went and voted with some some guys from
- 42:03Speaker 1: the Georgia Chapel, the NAACP, the president from there um.
- 42:07Speaker 1: And when I actually when I voted, we had some
- 42:09Speaker 1: discussions about the numbers I think last year and the
- 42:12Speaker 1: voters it was, I mean last term election, it was
- 42:16Speaker 1: six hundred thousand. This year is almost one point five.
- 42:21Speaker 1: So that means our words getting out there. I think
- 42:24Speaker 1: I think it goes like this. I think you you
- 42:26Speaker 1: make small strides at a big goal. And I think
- 42:31Speaker 1: the more we learn to mobilize together and be all
- 42:33Speaker 1: on the same page, you know, we get a little
- 42:36Speaker 1: bit farther to the point where you know, when we
- 42:39Speaker 1: do go, when we all get it right and we
- 42:41Speaker 1: do go vote, there's not gonna be able to stop
- 42:43Speaker 1: us from voting to anything else because we all gonna
- 42:45Speaker 1: be on the same page. So we got to mobilize
- 42:47Speaker 1: and this is a small part of that. So no
- 42:48Speaker 1: matter how this goes, as long as we show up
- 42:51Speaker 1: a numbers and we continue to self a numbers and
- 42:52Speaker 1: our movement gets bigger and our message gets greater, I
- 42:56Speaker 1: think we're working towards a goal and that's and that's
- 42:58Speaker 1: to get right the right people in because it's not
- 43:00Speaker 1: just um next, it's about your city assistance, it's about
- 43:05Speaker 1: who who, who's the mayor, who's the government, or who's right,
- 43:08Speaker 1: who's the judge right? You know, it's just it's all
- 43:11Speaker 1: those things that matter until you get people in like
- 43:13Speaker 1: us to understand what we go through, and it's gonna
- 43:16Speaker 1: do their best to make sure we're not being mistreated.
- 43:18Speaker 1: You can't complain, so you gotta get out and let
- 43:21Speaker 1: your voice be heard. Hey, look y'all. The new show
- 43:24Speaker 1: it's called Worth a Conversation. It debuts on foxhoul tonight
- 43:28Speaker 1: at ten pm Pacific time, seven thirty Eastern time. And ladies,
- 43:34Speaker 1: Jeffrey put your hands together for Jeez Jenkins. Everybody. YEA
- 43:38Speaker 1: love to you boy, big snorty, Thank you, Jeezy. Now
- 43:45Speaker 1: you tell me it's up next with today's praying phone call.

- 46:03Speaker 1: Big Mac, and he also, in return, brother sent me
- 46:07Speaker 1: a contract signed with him and your name on him. No,

- 53:27Speaker 1: get bugle up and hold on tight. We got it
- 53:29Speaker 1: for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter subject he
- 53:32Speaker 1: ruined his chances for intimacy. Dear Stephen Shirley, I need
- 53:37Speaker 1: your input please. I live in the UK, right outside
- 53:41Speaker 1: of London, and I love your show. I've known this
- 53:44Speaker 1: gentleman friend of mine for two years. We have a
- 53:47Speaker 1: great friendship. So a few weeks ago I invited him
- 53:50Speaker 1: over for the weekend. It started out as a great
- 53:53Speaker 1: meetup and I was glad to finally get to spend
- 53:56Speaker 1: some time with him. I asked him if he wanted
- 53:58Speaker 1: to share my bed or sleep in my guest room.
- 54:01Speaker 1: I had high hopes that we could share some physical intimacy,
- 54:05Speaker 1: which is something we'd never done. So this is how
- 54:08Speaker 1: the evening went. I announced I was going to have
- 54:11Speaker 1: a shower, and I thought he would take one after me,
- 54:15Speaker 1: but he didn't. The clothes he was wearing had a
- 54:17Speaker 1: musky smell, and since he'd been traveling all day, I
- 54:21Speaker 1: thought he might you don't want to freshen up, but
- 54:24Speaker 1: he didn't. We got in bed and he started touching
- 54:27Speaker 1: me in an intimate way. We kissed and it was
- 54:31Speaker 1: a good kiss, but I still could smell his musky
- 54:35Speaker 1: smell on his shirt and his bodies. As things got
- 54:39Speaker 1: more heated, I reached for his instrument and it was dead.
- 54:45Speaker 1: He made up an excuse that he'd had too much
- 54:47Speaker 1: to drink and that's why his instrument wasn't rising to
- 54:50Speaker 1: the occasion. I was grateful it didn't work, because he
- 54:54Speaker 1: smelled bad. Anyway. I turned away from him and went
- 54:58Speaker 1: to sleep. The next morn morning, I got out of
- 55:00Speaker 1: bed early so he wouldn't try again. He woke up
- 55:04Speaker 1: and came into the kitchen and tried to kiss me,
- 55:06Speaker 1: but he hadn't brushed his teeth or taken a shower yet.
- 55:10Speaker 1: His smell was all over my house. He left that
- 55:14Speaker 1: afternoon because he could sense that I was not pleased
- 55:17Speaker 1: with him. He keeps on asking me to see me
- 55:20Speaker 1: again to prove to me that his instrument works. But
- 55:23Speaker 1: he's ruined any chance at intimacy. Am I being too harsh?
- 55:27Speaker 1: Should I tell him that he stinks? Well, first we'll
- 55:32Speaker 1: go here. Okay, thank you for loving our show in
- 55:36Speaker 1: the UK, just outside of London. We appreciate it so
- 55:39Speaker 1: very much. We really do tell all your friends about it. Girl. Okay,
- 55:45Speaker 1: let's get to it. Bad hygiene meaning stanky breath, funky
- 55:51Speaker 1: body odor like under armed, but anywhere else down there,
- 55:56Speaker 1: all of that just overall cleanliness anything anything you know,
- 56:03Speaker 1: just overall uncleanliness and nastiness. It is an absolute deal breaker,
- 56:08Speaker 1: absolute deal breaker from me, point bank blank, period. So
- 56:12Speaker 1: to the question, are you being too harsh? No? No, no, no,
- 56:18Speaker 1: you should have made him get out of the bed.
- 56:21Speaker 1: You should have made him get out. I don't know
- 56:23Speaker 1: anyone who would put up with that. Should you tell him? Uh,
- 56:28Speaker 1: you know that he stinks? You ask only if you
- 56:31Speaker 1: plan on continuing to see him. And I don't think
- 56:34Speaker 1: that's a good idea because he doesn't bathe, he doesn't
- 56:36Speaker 1: brush his teeth. No, move on, no, no, Steve, you
- 56:43Speaker 1: well you know you and all this hit down. You
- 56:46Speaker 1: know nothing. Nothing about this letter makes me sick. Oh
- 56:50Speaker 1: I don't give it so o oh about them? Oh yeah,
- 56:55Speaker 1: yeah yeah, this letter is about a man that stink.
- 57:01Speaker 1: I could care less. But if you want some advice,
- 57:04Speaker 1: here it is. She see you know this gentleman friend
- 57:08Speaker 1: of yours for two years. Now, let me ask you something.
- 57:11Speaker 1: In two years you ain't smelled his ass. Two years
- 57:16Speaker 1: two you ain't noticed nothing. Well, maybe it's because y'all
- 57:21Speaker 1: were just friends and y'all wouldn't really close excuse me,
- 57:25Speaker 1: and so you decided you want to spend some time
- 57:28Speaker 1: with him. You had him come somewhere with you for
- 57:30Speaker 1: the weekend, and then you decided you said you wanted
- 57:35Speaker 1: high hopes that y'all can have some physical intimacy because
- 57:40Speaker 1: y'all had never done it before, right, right, So you
- 57:45Speaker 1: told him I'm going to have a shower, and I
- 57:50Speaker 1: thought he would take one after me, but he didn't.
- 57:54Speaker 1: Let me tell you something about funking people. Come see
- 57:58Speaker 1: when you say I'm going to take a shower, he
- 58:03Speaker 1: figured well that cool. Wait, Steve six, since she's from London,
- 58:07Speaker 1: say in a British accent, I daresay, I'm going to
- 58:12Speaker 1: take a shower. Rather you're not joined me, but maybe
- 58:17Speaker 1: pol take afterwards down huh, Okay, we got it, he said.
- 58:22Speaker 1: I dare say, why waste the water? That's the water
- 58:29Speaker 1: he does? Only good for water, Absolutely, you taking a
- 58:32Speaker 1: shower water is better than none. Why should I go
- 58:36Speaker 1: out then and waste the water and do it myself?
- 58:40Speaker 1: Tackically with the fact that I can't smell my damns out,
- 58:45Speaker 1: that's the problem. That's the key to stinking people. Stinking
- 58:48Speaker 1: people don't know they stink. They've been living with it.
- 58:54Speaker 1: They used to it. Yes, they think it's something else.
- 58:58Speaker 1: They think it's a garbage can somewhere is dead. It's you.
- 59:03Speaker 1: But he was traveling all day just based on that,
- 59:06Speaker 1: he should have gotten in the shower. They was in
- 59:09Speaker 1: the car together, was shut up in now Yeah, all right,
- 59:15Speaker 1: coming up, Steve, We're at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 59:18Speaker 1: We're gonna have part two of your response. The subject
- 59:21Speaker 1: of today's strawberry letter, he ruined his chances of intimacy.

- 59:28Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve,
- 59:32Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter he ruined his chances for
- 59:36Speaker 1: intimacy Shuley, I want you to read the letter. I'm
- 59:41Speaker 1: going to be the man from London hearing this letter
- 59:46Speaker 1: about me, and I'll comment throughout the letter. All right,
- 59:51Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I need your input. Please wonder what
- 59:54Speaker 1: this is about? My cloud of Steve, Wonder what this
- 59:59Speaker 1: is about. I live in the UK, right outside of London,
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: and I love your show. I have known this gentleman
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: friend of mine for two years. We have a nice Yeah,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: we have a great friendship. So a few weeks ago
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: I invited him over for the weekend. And what were
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: I to do? It's I definitely was coming alone. Yes,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: it started out, thank you. It started out as a
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: great meetup and I was glad to finally get to
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: spend some time with him, and so that I asked
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: him if he wanted to share my bed or sleep
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: in my guest room. Oh dude, tell I'm here far
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: At I had sharing off the bed. Oh my goodness,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: what a wonderful weekend. I had high hopes that we
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: can share some physical intimacy, which is something we'd never done.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: That so This is how the evening went here. I go,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: I announced I was going to have a shower, and
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: I thought he would take one after me, but he didn't.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: And why should I. You've taken a shower, one of
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: us has got to take the shower. It was you.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: The clothes he was wearing had a musky smell, and
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: since he'd been traveling all day, Oh Dad, you say,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: smell musca. I thought he might want to freshen up,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: but he didn't. We got in bed and he started
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: touching me in an intimate way. That what you wanted.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: We sad. You had high hope that it would get fast.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: Let's got it started. We kissed and it was a
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: good kiss, but I still could smell his muskie smell
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: on his shirt and his body. Once again. Never, I
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: was absolutely fine. Good used to it? I have where's lighting? Music? Dad? Back? Now,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: let's finish the ladder the right way. You didn't tell
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: me you were going to reach for the instrument. I
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: wasn't ready all right? Well, yeah, he made up in
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: the music had demanding. He made up an excuse that
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: he had had too much to drink, and that's why
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: his instrument wasn't rising. I've been drinking ale all after
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: no ale. You try drinking als one entire dance, see
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: if you'll instrument works. I was probably wasn't working either.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: I was great full it didn't work because he smelled
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: bad anyway, Um. I turned away from him and went
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: to sleep the next morning. The next morning, I got
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: out of bed early so he wouldn't try again. I
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: knew you got up early. I was already up. I
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: saw you. He woke up and came into the kitchen
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: and tried to kiss me. But he hadn't brushed his
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: teeth or taken a shower yet. If I hadn't taken
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: a shower last night, pray tail, why would I get
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: up and take one in the morning, God, I don't
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: brush my teeth into one thirty in the afternoon, his
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: smell got up, tarling this is not yall segment. His
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: smell was all over my house. And that's something I am.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: And that has an aura that wasn't smelled half while.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: That was aura. He left that afternoon because he could
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: sense I was not pleased with him. I love because
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: you are nagging me to shower. That's why, my God,
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: did you want the company or did you want to bathe.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: He keeps on asking me to see me again, to
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: prove to me that his instrument works. My instrument sometimes
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: doesn't participate because it's just sometimes it can't stand the smell.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: Sometimes my instrument says, O me, damn if I stand up,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: only to me knocked back down. Am I being too harsh?
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: She asked, damn it, Yes, you're being harsh. Should I
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: tell him he stinks? I know I stink? O you
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: know what? Do you know? Those hairs? You came me
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: a Mike Husky ass man? And no, no, I don't
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: smell my stay where's my damn music? Laura, God, I
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: smell himself. He can't hear. I use the music to
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: drownd out the smell. Plang a music. Damm it frost,
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: she smells all right. I think when we got out
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: of this is please telling me stinks? Post your comments

- 1:08:12Speaker 1: about how jo y'all won doing segregation. That's when y'all won.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: We won. We ast time we won. We weren't even
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: ride and yet well we we lost for the first
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: ride is sixty eight. Wow, civil rights? Now, Carlos, go ahead,
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: Dave Roberts, way to go, man, congratulations, man, all right, well,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: thank you junior. Sorry about that. Coming up at the
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: top of the hour. Another night of civil unrest in Philly.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: r Morning Show. Here is trending news from our homestation
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: in Philly one oh five point three wdas. The Philadelphia
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: Police Department has increased its presence around the city and
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: the Pennsylvania National Guard has been deployed in Philly last
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: night due to more civil unrest and respond to the
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: shooting death of Walter Wallace Junior. Walter Wallace Junior was
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: a black man who refused to drop his knife when
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: police asked him to. According to the family's lawyer, they
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: reportedly called for an ambulance to get mister Wallace some
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: help for a mental health crisis issue. On the video,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: you can hear the officers repeatedly tell Wallace to put
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: the knife down. After he would not drop the weapon,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: two officers fired off at least seven rounds. Both officers
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: were wearing body cans and were taken off street duty
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: pending the investigation. Philadelphia's new police commissioner is a sister.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Her name is Danielle Outlaw. Take a listen as Chief
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: Outlaw is going to the community where the shooting happened,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: and she's talking to the people. What was the fact
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: day they first use The first thing the officers did
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: was before the weapon on that man, not a taser.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: They didn't use the taser. They didn't use the taser.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: And why gonna offers in the community, not a community
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: and the community so when that come with thee at
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: least this community, they're scared. They're so scared. The first
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: thing they did was shot that man. I'm here to listen.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: I don't have answers for what happened today. It just happened. Obviously,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: you gotta put everything together. Like knew they was gonna shoot. Yeah,
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: I knew that was gonna shoot. I'm tasing that wan. Wow.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Yeah now yeah, here we community. Yeah, they're upset. They
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: were rounds. He is a lot though well and you
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: know it is. But and here's the deal. The people
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: called to because he has mental issues. The annulance, so
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: they called for mental help. The officers in Philly don't
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: have tasers. Who don't have that I don't understand. So
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: here's the problem. They're presenting their only line of defense
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: and he had a weapon and he kept coming. What
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: the public is saying is they didn't even try to
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: chase him. Now we found out later they don't have taser.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: But like I've always said, these police officers aren't trained enough,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: so they only have a twenty two week training period.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: You got to learn how to do domestic violence reports,
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: you gotta do how to settle arguments, failf arm robbery,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: bank robbery. You gotta go through all that training. All
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: of the shooting they do is on the target, and
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: they're all killed shots, chest in head, chesting head. If
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: a man has a knife and two officers have a
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: good shooting him in the leg or bring him down. Yeah,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: but we don't do that in the United States to
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: black people. We don't bring them down. We take them down,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: and that's with the deadly force. And it's always the
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: use of deadly force. The fear in that. This whole
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: thing is he had a knife. Yes, they're gonna overlook
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: that it was a psychiatric call that they said they
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: needed help an ambulance for some psychiatric problem he had
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: demand I heard, I could be wrong, had a history
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: of mental issues, which which Steve brings up. If they
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: knew that, if the police knew that he had a
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: history of that, it's more outrageous to why you knew
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: but even when they get there, the fear factor in
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: police officer, yes, the embedded Yeah, that's in some police officers.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: It's going to overrule the fact that you're telling him
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: he had mental issues because all they see it's this
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: black man with this knife. Yeah, an animal. And then
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: and then that amnesty clause goes into fact. It's hard
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: to charge police performing in the line of duty. Oh yeah,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: and that's what they use. That's the sad thing. We
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: got to get to the poles, y'all. Yeah, I'm telling you, yeah,
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: all right, coming up more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: Show twenty minutes after. Right after this, you're listening to
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: Steven show. KFC's bringing back their popular chicken scentate firelogs
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: for the holidays. So now you can I say that
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: without a sat I don't want my whole house like
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: a chicken log. Okay, FC, They're okay, they're really popular though,

- 1:14:36Speaker 1: don't do that. Sureley, don't do that to that man
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: thinking it's something when he come in the house and
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: your burning logs. So that wouldn't be a good idea. No, no, no, no,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: good honey, ain't good idea. I thought it would be
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: a great anytime that's far keeps being remodeled. She has
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: no idea when it would be finished, because it don't
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: matter when. Yeah, yeah, I just want them to hurry
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: up so you know, I can get the dust out
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: and everything. But other than that, yeah, take your time.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: These firelogs are so popular that they quickly sold out
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: for the past two years straight. If you can have
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: your house smell like a cent, what would it be
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: any kind of food for me? All right, more of
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show and some trending news coming
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: up at thirty three minutes after the hour. Right after this,

- 1:15:31Speaker 1: was a b ET Hip Hop Awards, which you got, Carla. Well,
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: we were watching it shirtly. We were on the phone.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: We kind of all talked to each other with texting
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: each other while we were watching the BT Hip Hop Awards.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: We have to give a shout out to eighty five South,
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: and yes, we love them so much, and we gotta
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: shout out our very own cat Dog. He's our production director,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: but you know he was behind the scene. Yeah, that's
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: the first of any awards show I've ever seen where
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: pretty much an improv troop host of the show, a
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: group of comedians. I thought it was outstanding because what
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: I've seen a lot of their shows on eighty five.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: So yeah, my son Broderick introduced me to him and everything.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: I knew nothing about it. And then of course, you know,
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: I don't really know how much a choice it was,
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: but you know, he gon, we appreciate it, but let
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: us do this right here, and that's how it started.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: But but I've known what they've been trying to do
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: for a long time. It was just the first I've
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: ever seen a comedy trio host a show. You know,
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: the Kings didn't do it, so I mean to watch
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: that was really amazing me and said, did the first
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: beating awards? The first was good and said that the
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: first two very funny. Yeah, yeah, but you know, I've
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: never seen a comedy trio. Was the Hip Hop Awards.

- 1:17:32Speaker 1: They had one with Skip Marley, that Lady Piper featuring
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: it was good. Yeah, you saw one with Jack Harlow.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: You know that's the guy was pop. I didn't know, Yeah,
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: ignorant when you saw Snoop Dogg. He presented Master p
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: with the I Am Hip Hop Awards, So you knew
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: the legends in the game. And then of course your
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: boy Toby knew Wigwi. He performed your jam a little
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: bit of a r I knew it. I wouldn't go
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: and get the title lot come on, come on, because
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: I find it's my jail man. Yeah. Toby was rocking. Uh,
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: I like to set. It was this mint green look
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: they had on and then he had on Black Lives.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: It's always dramatic. It's a sweet dramatic. He got that.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: It's like a scene. Yeah, it's like a scene. Yep.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Coming up, it's our last break of the day. Us

- 1:19:19Speaker 1: the lady said at the post, she said, you know
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: that that transfers into a lot of Poland places. My
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: friends are working at saying right after lunch, by one
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: and for it slows down tremendously. There's some key senate
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: races if you live in these following states. Democratic senatorial
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: candidate Jamie Harrison is running in South Carolina. That's right.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: Mike esp is running for a Democratic senator in Mississippi.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: That's right. In Georgia, there's Reverend Raphael Warnock. He's a
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: candidate for senator. Democrat Democratic senatorial candidate Marquita Bradshaw in Tennessee.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: Also Mayor Adrian Perkins in Louisiana running for a Democratic senator.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: And attention Michigan voters vote to keep Democratic Senator Gary
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: Peters in office. Okay, Gary Peters, not his opponent, Republican
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: John James. Okay, we're trying to keep Gary Peters in
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: office in Michigan, not John James. It's deceptive, y'all. Yeah,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: he is very much John James as African American. He's
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: very much a Trump supporter, very much. Teas two thousand
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: percent behind Trump. You got a lot of red hats
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: in his John James is not. No, we want the
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: name again, Shirley, Oh, all of them. No. In Michigan,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: Gary Peters, Gary Peter. We want Gary Peters, everybody in Michigan.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: We want Gary Peter in Michigan, not James Jones. Do
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: not John James, John James, do not vote for JJ.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: Do look like us, but he ain't with us. Pay
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: attention to Detroit, Yes, Detroit, let's show up now we
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: can change the Senate, we can change the presidency. We
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: got work to do, people, We got work. I wouldn't
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: I wouldn't want to look back at this moment in
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: time and not have participated. I would not want to
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: look really, man, right, knowing that this one right here
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: you can do something about. Right. You know what I've
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: been hearing to see a lot of people said they
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: stayed home in twenty sixteen. That's why these early voting
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: numbers are up, because they said, I'm not gonna stay
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: home this time. I blew it last time. So you're right,
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: let's go make a difference it man. Yeah. And I
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: think that mail and voting situation where the President was
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: talking about, you know, it's rigged and all of that,
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: I think it's backfiring because people, you know, so many
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: people are getting out to vote. Even in COVID nineteen.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: They are standing in lines, they are actually coming out
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: of the House to vote. So that's what people doing.
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: The electric slide. Yeah, people like what, We're gonna be
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: here with it, way towards two billion people already to
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: vote early voting. Huh. I love it. I love it.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: We got to vote. We have to vote. No choice. Yep,
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: let's get it, baby. If we go to the polls,
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: we will make the difference. We are it. We are
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: the deciding factor. Young people are the deciding factor. People
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: of color are the decide factor. If everybody who is
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: eligible to vote that didn't vote in two thy sixteen
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: where the gold cast they vote on next Tuesday, It'll
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: be a landslide. It'll be real ugly, man, It'll be
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: real ugly for this guy, because I want to send
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: a message to him. The Proud Boys, all those militia groups,
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: the clan, the skinheads, that damn tea party, they had
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: all of it. I want everybody to get a message.
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: I want this new que thing they're talking about, whatever
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: that is they got going Q and nine all that. Man,
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: We look, we ain't got time for that, that luminaitic mass.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: We ain't got time for none of that fools up
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: in hell? When did we become so curious about everything
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: that we gonna try and check that out. I was
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: on a phone call yesterday with the grand bosses of
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: a Maka sip Fire fraternity and we that work on
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: the airways that are frat brothers, me Ricky Smiley and
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: Del Hughley were talking and they were talking about how
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: twenty five percent of black men in Michigan or something
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: voted for Donald Trump last time. And why is that
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: because because because they got tricked. You thought if you
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: voted like them that they would consider you one of them.
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: You ain't never fit to be that. Look, I'm I'm
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: exhausted from it. We have to vote. It's nothing else
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: to say. It's Tuesday, we're voting. Go early vote, We're voting.
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: Go down that Tuesday and vote. We're voting. I don't
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: care how long the line is, how much water we need,
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: where we need to stay and go to bathroom, Hold
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: your place, We're gonna go down and vote. He got
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: to go. Black lives do matter. And you find to
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: find out just how much sir, voting we vote. Vote
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: out of here. Kind of move all this stuff for all.
