- 0:00Speaker 1: I wanted somebody really smart to work with me in
- 0:03Speaker 1: terms of the country, a very important aspect. You write
- 0:06Speaker 1: an executive order, and you think it's done, you send
- 0:07Speaker 1: it out, it doesn't get done, it doesn't get implemented.
- 0:09Speaker 1: They don't implement it. Maybe they're from the last administration. Well, Gary,
- 0:13Speaker 1: mine's a televance.
- 0:13Speaker 2: It's more money's in the telebent.
- 0:15Speaker 3: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
- 0:19Speaker 4: Good Wednesday morning, Ben Ferguson, here, it's nice to have
- 0:22Speaker 4: you with us on the forty seven Morning Update, and
- 0:24Speaker 4: here are the big stories we're going to be talking
- 0:26Speaker 4: about today. First up, Donald Trump and Elon Muss sit
- 0:29Speaker 4: down for an interview with Hannity, and boy did they
- 0:31Speaker 4: bring receipts, including some from the Taliban.
- 0:34Speaker 2: I'll have that for you in just a second.
- 0:36Speaker 4: Also, DOGE has discovered four point seven trillion dollars of
- 0:42Speaker 4: payments that they cannot trace. Was this done on purpose
- 0:46Speaker 4: to hide where your tax dollars are going? I'll explain
- 0:48Speaker 4: that as well. And finally, the CIA is going after
- 0:53Speaker 4: cartels in Mexico using reaper drones, the same ones we
- 0:57Speaker 4: use in Iraq and Afghanistan to spy on the cartels.
- 1:01Speaker 4: It's the forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
- 1:04Speaker 4: Story number one another day and Donald Trump and his
- 1:07Speaker 4: team at DOGE are finding more of your tax dollars
- 1:09Speaker 4: that are going to, for example, dead people. DOGE is
- 1:13Speaker 4: investigating potential social security fraud. Millions are receiving checks right
- 1:19Speaker 4: now that are aged over one hundred and thirty years old.
- 1:24Speaker 4: This is the most shocking part of all is It's
- 1:27Speaker 4: been happening for decades and no one stopped it. Elon
- 1:31Speaker 4: Musk putting out a tweet saying, according to Social Security Database,
- 1:34Speaker 4: these are the numbers of people in each age bucket
- 1:37Speaker 4: with a death field set to false. Maybe twilight is
- 1:42Speaker 4: real and there are a lot of vampires collecting social Security.
- 1:46Speaker 4: You want to know how many people on his list
- 1:49Speaker 4: are over the age of one hundred, Well one hundred
- 1:53Speaker 4: to one hundred and nine. There are four point seven
- 1:55Speaker 4: million apparently eligible for Social Security. It gets worse, oh
- 2:00Speaker 4: one hundred and ten to one hundred and nineteen three
- 2:02Speaker 4: point six million. Those that are eligible between the ages
- 2:06Speaker 4: of one hundred and twenty to one hundred and twenty
- 2:09Speaker 4: nine three point four million.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Oh and don't worry, it gets worse.
- 2:15Speaker 4: From one hundred and thirty to one hundred and thirty
- 2:17Speaker 4: nine years old, there are three point nine million people
- 2:22Speaker 4: that are apparently eligible for Social Security. That's not all.
- 2:26Speaker 4: At one hundred and forty to one hundred and forty nine,
- 2:28Speaker 4: there's three point five million. From one hundred and fifty
- 2:31Speaker 4: to one hundred and fifty nine, one point three million.
- 2:35Speaker 4: And yes, there are even people on the Social Security
- 2:37Speaker 4: rolls that are over the age of three hundred and sixty. Yes,
- 2:42Speaker 4: there's a three hundred and sixty one year old person
- 2:45Speaker 4: on the list. From the age of two hundred to
- 2:48Speaker 4: two hundred and twenty nine, there are more than two
- 2:51Speaker 4: thousand people apparently that are still alive at the age
- 2:55Speaker 4: of two hundred and twenty to two hundred and twenty nine. Now,
- 2:59Speaker 4: let's just let you digest that for a moment as
- 3:01Speaker 4: I moved to the other big part of the day,
- 3:03Speaker 4: which was Elon Musk and Donald Trump sitting down with
- 3:06Speaker 4: Sean Hannity to talk about all the fraud they're finding.
- 3:10Speaker 4: And here is part of what they said, including your
- 3:12Speaker 4: tax dollars going directly to the Taliban.
- 3:16Speaker 5: Average America makes sixty six thousand dollars a year. Yeah, okay,
- 3:19Speaker 5: we have thirty seven trillion dollars in national debt. Now,
- 3:24Speaker 5: all the money I'm about to mention and what we're
- 3:26Speaker 5: going to scroll on our screen, and all of this
- 3:30Speaker 5: is going to foreign countries. It is not being spent
- 3:33Speaker 5: here in America for better schools, law and order. I
- 3:37Speaker 5: think the average text being American should be mad as
- 3:39Speaker 5: hell because their text money is being.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I'm early spent.
- 3:41Speaker 5: All right, let me go to the second question.
- 3:44Speaker 2: First. I want to know.
- 3:46Speaker 5: Because people like JOHNI Earnst AND's tried for a long
- 3:51Speaker 5: time and she's actually got a lot of good data.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Center US has been really helpful.
- 3:54Speaker 5: Actually okay, but they they they actually high what the
- 4:01Speaker 5: real purpose of the spending is. In other words, they
- 4:05Speaker 5: and this is a question, how did you decipher it?
- 4:10Speaker 5: Will say humanitarian blah blah blah in Serbia or Afghanistan.
- 4:15Speaker 5: We even give them money to China for crying out loud,
- 4:17Speaker 5: which I think is nuts.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Well, the Taliban, what money to the Taliban?
- 4:20Speaker 6: Like a lot?
- 4:21Speaker 2: I mean, just listen to that statement from Elon Musk.
- 4:24Speaker 4: We gave money to the Taliban, and then Elon Musk
- 4:27Speaker 4: raises his eyebrows and says, like a lot. Can you
- 4:31Speaker 4: imagine being in these meetings and this is what you
- 4:34Speaker 4: are finding now. Donald Trump was asked about Elon Musk
- 4:37Speaker 4: and hey, can Americans have confidence in what he's doing?
- 4:40Speaker 4: Is the Democrats and the media are trying to turn
- 4:42Speaker 4: him into the worst person in the world.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Trump said this about Elon.
- 4:46Speaker 1: I wanted somebody really smart to work with me in
- 4:49Speaker 1: terms of the country, a very important aspect, because I mean,
- 4:52Speaker 1: he doesn't talking about he's actually a very good businessman.
- 4:55Speaker 1: And when he talks about the executive orders, and this
- 4:57Speaker 1: is probably true for all precedents. When you write an
- 5:00Speaker 1: executive order and you think it's done, you send it out,
- 5:02Speaker 1: it doesn't get done, it doesn't get implemented, they don't
- 5:04Speaker 1: implement it. Maybe they're from the last administration, and they
- 5:08Speaker 1: are in some cases. You try and get them out
- 5:10Speaker 1: as fast as you can. And he would take that
- 5:12Speaker 1: executive order that I'd sign and he would have those
- 5:15Speaker 1: people go to whatever agency it was. When are you
- 5:18Speaker 1: doing it? Get it done? Get it done. And some
- 5:21Speaker 1: guy that maybe didn't want to do it, all of
- 5:23Speaker 1: a sudden he's signing it.
- 5:24Speaker 4: Just doesn't want you want to talk about a dream team.
- 5:28Speaker 4: It is very clear that these two men, they genuinely
- 5:31Speaker 4: love working together every day, they love saving money for Americans.
- 5:36Speaker 4: And now they're even talking about giving you a Doge rebate.
- 5:40Speaker 4: That's right, giving your taxes back to you based on
- 5:43Speaker 4: what they can cut. Elon Musk believes there's about a
- 5:46Speaker 4: trillion dollars and government waste. Wouldn't it be nice to
- 5:50Speaker 4: get a check from Doge. It's something they are working on,
- 5:53Speaker 4: and there's a very good chance it may be coming
- 5:56Speaker 4: to your mailbox in the not too distant future. Next
- 5:59Speaker 4: story number two, Imagine finding four point seven trillion dollars
- 6:04Speaker 4: of treasury payments that are purposely made almost impossible to trace.
- 6:09Speaker 4: That is exactly what your federal government has now been
- 6:12Speaker 4: caught doing. The Treasury Department had sent out more than
- 6:15Speaker 4: four point seven trillion dollars of payments without an identification
- 6:19Speaker 4: code that links a Treasury payment to a budget line
- 6:24Speaker 4: item that comes from Congress. Doge announcing this today, making
- 6:29Speaker 4: these payments, they said, almost impossible to trace, and clearly
- 6:32Speaker 4: the government wanted to do this so you would never
- 6:35Speaker 4: be able to ask questions.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Doade said. The identification payment.
- 6:39Speaker 4: Code called TAS for Treasury Access Symbol is now being
- 6:44Speaker 4: required as of the weekend when they found the problem.
- 6:47Speaker 4: Why because they want to increase the oversight into where
- 6:51Speaker 4: your money actually ends up. The Department of Government Efficiency
- 6:54Speaker 4: tweeting this out. The Treasury Access Symbol TASK is an
- 6:59Speaker 4: identification code linking a Treasury payment to a budget line
- 7:02Speaker 4: item standard financial process in the federal government. The task
- 7:06Speaker 4: field was optional for four point seven trillion in payments
- 7:11Speaker 4: and was often left blank, making traceability almost impossible. As
- 7:16Speaker 4: of Saturday, this is now being required, increasing the insight
- 7:20Speaker 4: into where your money is actually going. A big thank
- 7:23Speaker 4: you the US Treasury for the great work that again
- 7:26Speaker 4: coming from the Department of Government Efficiency. Fox News also
- 7:30Speaker 4: reported on the importance of the TAS payment code as well,
- 7:33Speaker 4: saying quote according to the Bureau of Fiscal Service, which
- 7:37Speaker 4: is under the Treasury, task codes are used to describe
- 7:40Speaker 4: any one of the account identification codes assigned by the Treasury,
- 7:45Speaker 4: and is also referred to as the quote unquote account.
- 7:48Speaker 4: All financial transactions made by the federal government are classified
- 7:53Speaker 4: by these symbols. When reporting the Treasury, and importantly the
- 7:57Speaker 4: Office of Management and Budget. You may know it is
- 7:59Speaker 4: O now the discovery was announced on the same day. Also,
- 8:03Speaker 4: the DOGE appeared to have populated the savings page, which
- 8:08Speaker 4: as of Monday evening said the total estimated savings since
- 8:11Speaker 4: the establishment of the department has already totaled about fifty
- 8:15Speaker 4: five billion dollars.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Quote.
- 8:17Speaker 4: Major improvement and Treasury Payment Integrity is going live. Elon
- 8:21Speaker 4: Musk posted on x this is a combined effort of DOGE,
- 8:24Speaker 4: the US Treasury, and the Federal Reserve.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Nice work by all.
- 8:27Speaker 4: Now, the absence of the code was discovered during a
- 8:30Speaker 4: DOGE audit of the Treasury Department to find wasteful spending,
- 8:34Speaker 4: fraud and abuse. Democrats guess what. They came out in
- 8:38Speaker 4: full opposition to the audit of the Department of Treasury.
- 8:43Speaker 4: The audit, they said on the ground should never have
- 8:46Speaker 4: been allowed to happen. Why because they said that DOGE,
- 8:50Speaker 4: a department within the federal government, should not have access
- 8:52Speaker 4: to taxpayers sensitive data. Even attorney generals on the left
- 8:56Speaker 4: are now coming out in force. Fourteen states have already
- 8:59Speaker 4: sued to block dogs from accessing the data, alleging executive overreach. Now,
- 9:04Speaker 4: the Treasury Secretary Scott Bassent said this in a statement.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Quote, this is not some roving ban.
- 9:10Speaker 4: This is being done methodically and is going to yield
- 9:13Speaker 4: big savings for the American taxpayer. If there's anything I
- 9:17Speaker 4: can agree on, it is that Donald Trump and Doge
- 9:20Speaker 4: and Elon Musk are not stopping to find you all
- 9:24Speaker 4: of your wasted tax dollars. And here is story number three.
- 9:27Speaker 4: It's a sad reality. Mexico is an essence a failed state.
- 9:31Speaker 4: It is being controlled and run by the cartels. They
- 9:34Speaker 4: choose the leaders, and the leaders do what the cartels say. Well,
- 9:38Speaker 4: there's two very interesting reports that are dealing with Mexico
- 9:41Speaker 4: now and our safety from drugs and also human trafficking. Fetanol,
- 9:46Speaker 4: as you know, is one of the biggest killers in
- 9:48Speaker 4: this country. Where we now have confirmation that the CIA
- 9:52Speaker 4: is flying surveillance drones over the cartels in Mexico. Multiple
- 9:58Speaker 4: outlets are now reporting the CIA is stepping up their
- 10:01Speaker 4: drone flights. The currently unarmed flights are said to be
- 10:04Speaker 4: searching for fetnyl labs that are run by the Mexican cartels,
- 10:08Speaker 4: designated by President Donald Trump as foreign terrorist organizations. One
- 10:13Speaker 4: US officials saying to The New York Times that the
- 10:15Speaker 4: flights will go well into sovereign Mexico quote unquote. Now,
- 10:21Speaker 4: the flights reportedly began during the Biden administration but were
- 10:24Speaker 4: never really used to stop the flow of the drugs.
- 10:28Speaker 4: Then they were stepped up by the new CIA Director
- 10:30Speaker 4: John Radcliffe after President Trump made the foreign terrorist designation.
- 10:35Speaker 4: The flights are not authorized. We're being told at this
- 10:38Speaker 4: point to use lethal force. However, CIA officers are gathering
- 10:43Speaker 4: the intelligence data and they're passing it along to those
- 10:46Speaker 4: that may need to see it.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Now.
- 10:49Speaker 4: Tom Hollman was asked about Mexico in general in an
- 10:52Speaker 4: interview that he did earlier. I want you to hear
- 10:55Speaker 4: what he had to say about the country.
- 10:58Speaker 6: Let me ask you a question. It's against the law
- 11:01Speaker 6: in Mexico to traffic children, but they don't do anything
- 11:03Speaker 6: about it. It's against the law in Mexico to transit
- 11:06Speaker 6: through the country, but they don't do anything about it.
- 11:08Speaker 6: Is the Mexican government, in your opinion anti American?
- 11:11Speaker 7: Look, I agree with you. They don't enforce and they
- 11:14Speaker 7: allow illgo analystm all the world to transit Mexico without
- 11:17Speaker 7: a transit visa, which is against the law. By thinking
- 11:19Speaker 7: President Trump has them where he wants them. They've now
- 11:22Speaker 7: put military on their northern border in our southern border,
- 11:25Speaker 7: they are now participating and beginning to participating and remain
- 11:28Speaker 7: in Mexico. President Trump is demanded they take action, and
- 11:31Speaker 7: we're monitoringum. President Trump, you know, he's the game changer.
- 11:34Speaker 7: We've been in office less than a month and I
- 11:38Speaker 7: notice in the last twenty four hours total Southwest border
- 11:40Speaker 7: apprehensions two hundred and twenty nine. Now, I started the
- 11:44Speaker 7: border troil in nineteen eighty four. I've never seen those numbers,
- 11:46Speaker 7: at least I don't remember seeing those numbers. We went
- 11:48Speaker 7: from eleven thousand day under Biden to two hundred and
- 11:51Speaker 7: twenty nine. President Trump's already got Mexico where he wants him,
- 11:54Speaker 7: and he's going to force more on them in their future.
- 11:56Speaker 6: Just quickly, Tom, because I'm up against a break. But
- 11:58Speaker 6: I got to ask you, the cartels are very powerful.
- 12:01Speaker 6: Is the US military use of the US military on
- 12:04Speaker 6: the table to hit cartel targets in Mexico.
- 12:07Speaker 7: That's something we're working on now. By I can tell
- 12:09Speaker 7: you that President Trung's made if Mexican cartels will put
- 12:12Speaker 7: a death right against borbit relagients or a military if
- 12:15Speaker 7: they harm a Borba in the military. President Trump will
- 12:18Speaker 7: wipe them off the face of the earth.
- 12:20Speaker 2: There it is working on.
- 12:21Speaker 4: Striking cartels in Mexico is a real possibility now. President
- 12:26Speaker 4: Trump declared those cartels foreign terrorist organizations on his first
- 12:29Speaker 4: day in office, and now borders are home and is
- 12:32Speaker 4: saying they're active discussions about US military strikes on terrorist
- 12:36Speaker 4: targets in Mexico. This is we're being told that the
- 12:40Speaker 4: Reaper drones are already working on full time surveillance. Quote
- 12:45Speaker 4: from CNN, the CIA is flying the mq DASH nine
- 12:49Speaker 4: Reaper drones. The drones are equipped to deliver lethal payloads,
- 12:53Speaker 4: but are not currently armed. The mq DASH nine drones
- 12:57Speaker 4: used for the mission are not armed, but they can
- 13:00Speaker 4: be equipped with payloads to carry out precision strikes. The
- 13:04Speaker 4: US regularly uses them to target suspect Terris and Syria,
- 13:07Speaker 4: Iraq and Somalia. Well, go back to the very first
- 13:11Speaker 4: statement that I said earlier. Donald Trump has already said
- 13:15Speaker 4: that these cartels are in fact foreign terrorists organization.
