- 2:08Speaker 1: Come on now dig me or one it only Steve
- 2:11Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show. Thank God for it all
- 2:15Speaker 1: the time too. Well, here we go today. Since this
- 2:20Speaker 1: time of the year, I want to share something with
- 2:23Speaker 1: you that I'll help you because it's helped me. You know.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I was telling the story once that this magazine called
- 2:33Speaker 1: rob Report, that that was a statue I used to
- 2:37Speaker 1: see for years. I started buying Rob Reporting magazines years ago.
- 2:44Speaker 1: So I just wanted to see what affluent people did,
- 2:47Speaker 1: you know, just wanted to see what people with means did,
- 2:51Speaker 1: what type of investments they did, what they bought, you know,
- 2:54Speaker 1: what they traveled to. Rob Reports just like, Oh, it's
- 2:57Speaker 1: like a big boy toy magazine. You can see what
- 3:01Speaker 1: causes out here. I didn't have money for none of it.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I was dreaming, though, you know, I just wanted to see.
- 3:08Speaker 1: And there's a statue inside this magazine of this man
- 3:14Speaker 1: who was coming out of this bronze rock. And he
- 3:18Speaker 1: was completely bronze, and he was muscular, and you know,
- 3:22Speaker 1: he didn't look nothing like me, but he was a
- 3:24Speaker 1: man coming up out of a rock. And he had
- 3:26Speaker 1: a huge hammer and a chisel in his hand. And
- 3:30Speaker 1: as his body from the waist up was coming out
- 3:33Speaker 1: of this huge piece of stone, you could see where
- 3:35Speaker 1: it was him who had been chiseling and forming himself.
- 3:39Speaker 1: So the name of the statue was self made Man.
- 3:43Speaker 1: And for years man I said, Man, I'm gonna get
- 3:45Speaker 1: a big house one day, and I'm gonna put that
- 3:47Speaker 1: statue in the backyard in the corner. That's gonna be
- 3:50Speaker 1: my little spot where I go chill, because I'm a
- 3:54Speaker 1: self made man. Well, after years of working at because
- 4:00Speaker 1: I'm somebody and having reached a degree of success, I
- 4:08Speaker 1: would have nothing to do with that statue. There's nothing
- 4:11Speaker 1: about that statue that appeals to me. Anymore. Because on
- 4:16Speaker 1: my journey and in my quest to become what I
- 4:19Speaker 1: thought would be this self made man, why I could
- 4:22Speaker 1: put this statue and had a statue in the corner
- 4:25Speaker 1: be kind of cold symbolizing it. I had made it.
- 4:28Speaker 1: I realized on my journey there's no such thing as
- 4:32Speaker 1: a self made man. That we all need help, and
- 4:36Speaker 1: that God places people in our paths along the way
- 4:41Speaker 1: that benefit us oftentimes. And it's the most unlikely person oftentimes,
- 4:47Speaker 1: and the most unlikely way that He presents these people
- 4:51Speaker 1: in front of you. It's crazy how he does it. Man.
- 4:54Speaker 1: And so this is a statue now that I look
- 4:56Speaker 1: at and I go, I see what the creator was saying.
- 4:59Speaker 1: And that's cool, but not not for me, because I
- 5:04Speaker 1: needed help and I've learned a lot of things like
- 5:07Speaker 1: this along the way. And at this part of the year,
- 5:12Speaker 1: the part I wanted to share with you all about
- 5:14Speaker 1: this is you've got to develop You've got to develop
- 5:19Speaker 1: a sense of purpose. Now, notice what I said. I
- 5:23Speaker 1: said you have to develop a sense of purpose. I
- 5:25Speaker 1: didn't say you had to go out and figure out
- 5:28Speaker 1: a purpose. You have to develop a sense of purpose.
- 5:31Speaker 1: That's different. See your purpose, it's created for you by God.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Because when he created you as an individual from whatever
- 5:44Speaker 1: two parents you may have, that's not important here. When
- 5:49Speaker 1: he created you, he had something in mind for you.
- 5:56Speaker 1: You follow me. Now, When he created you, he had
- 5:59Speaker 1: some than in mind for you, and it was a purpose.
- 6:03Speaker 1: God has not created a single soul to become a criminal.
- 6:07Speaker 1: God has never created a single soul to be a
- 6:10Speaker 1: drug dealer, to become an addict, to become an alcoholic,
- 6:15Speaker 1: to become an abuser, a molester, a Cheatah, He didn't
- 6:19Speaker 1: create none of this. This came about through some decisions
- 6:23Speaker 1: we made as sinners and we stayed in that place.
- 6:29Speaker 1: But see what he created us, He had He has
- 6:33Speaker 1: a wonderful idea for us. But God gives us human
- 6:36Speaker 1: beings this thing called choice, and we have the power
- 6:39Speaker 1: to decide. So you can decide if you're going to
- 6:42Speaker 1: adhere to the purpose that God created you and made
- 6:45Speaker 1: you for, or you can go ahead and make some
- 6:48Speaker 1: choices on your own. So like, if God wanted to
- 6:53Speaker 1: give your life and give it to come to you
- 6:55Speaker 1: and give you life more abundantly, and that's his promise.
- 6:58Speaker 1: If you come to him, if you use him, then cool.
- 7:02Speaker 1: But if you say well, this ain't moving along fast enough.
- 7:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna get my own life of abundance. I'm gonna
- 7:08Speaker 1: start slinging. Well, guess what now, Tad. You've made a decision.
- 7:14Speaker 1: And see God's decisions and choices the one thing I
- 7:17Speaker 1: learned about them from Bishop Kenneth Oma, God's decisions, choices,
- 7:21Speaker 1: his voice, it has no sin in it. Ain't it
- 7:24Speaker 1: amazing how many people it came up to you and say,
- 7:26Speaker 1: the Lord wanted me to do this to you, and
- 7:28Speaker 1: I'm doing it. That God is punishing you, and I'm
- 7:31Speaker 1: doing this to you because God gonna see that you
- 7:33Speaker 1: get your day. Who is this person? Who is this
- 7:37Speaker 1: person that God all of a sudden gave this authority
- 7:41Speaker 1: and power to God? I didn't get at the nobody, man, nobody,
- 7:45Speaker 1: this person don't have a right to hold you to
- 7:47Speaker 1: your past, the right to make you pay. So who
- 7:51Speaker 1: makes them pay when they make mistakes? Because they all
- 7:54Speaker 1: make them. So when I say you have to have
- 7:57Speaker 1: a sense of you have to develop a strong sense
- 8:00Speaker 1: of purpose. That means you have to strongly get in
- 8:02Speaker 1: touch with your creator to find out what the purpose
- 8:05Speaker 1: you were created for. See, it's two things that I
- 8:09Speaker 1: had to learn along the way my career. My career
- 8:14Speaker 1: was what I was paid for. My calling is what
- 8:18Speaker 1: I was made for. See, it's two different things, folks.
- 8:23Speaker 1: It took me a long time to learn it, and
- 8:25Speaker 1: some people never really. Some people think that they calling
- 8:30Speaker 1: is to be a performer. Well, that's what you paid for,
- 8:33Speaker 1: and a big part of your life is your performance
- 8:36Speaker 1: is tied directly to your gift. But what you made for, though,
- 8:41Speaker 1: what you made for is to bring about some significant
- 8:44Speaker 1: change in another human being's lives because we are all
- 8:47Speaker 1: linked together in this chain. That's what you are here for.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Everybody has a purpose to do something wonderful, meaning for
- 8:56Speaker 1: or impactful for another person. Show me the person that's
- 9:01Speaker 1: not made for that. I just want to know who
- 9:05Speaker 1: isn't made to do that? Who isn't made to do
- 9:09Speaker 1: something that will affect the life for the betterment and
- 9:15Speaker 1: improvement of another person or people. You think the guy
- 9:20Speaker 1: that invented the airplane was merely inventing the airplane so
- 9:24Speaker 1: he could fly. No, his purpose. His purpose was to
- 9:30Speaker 1: become an inventor, to come up with this invention so
- 9:33Speaker 1: he could fly and we all fly. See. Sometimes God
- 9:38Speaker 1: will make you successful so you can become successful, so
- 9:41Speaker 1: you can turn around and teach other people how to
- 9:43Speaker 1: become successful. God save people, so you can turn around
- 9:47Speaker 1: it tell other people how wonderful it is to be saved.
- 9:50Speaker 1: You see how this thing works. That's what we have
- 9:54Speaker 1: to do as people. And it's nothing that we have
- 9:56Speaker 1: to go and discover. We have to go and develop it.
- 9:59Speaker 1: But if you haven't discovered your purpose, it's simply because
- 10:03Speaker 1: here's it. If you haven't discovered your purpose is simply
- 10:06Speaker 1: because you have not contacted the creator and maker of
- 10:13Speaker 1: your soul to ask and find out why you were created.
- 10:20Speaker 1: It's as simple as that. If you buy a Toyota,
- 10:27Speaker 1: there's an owner's manual on the inside that will tell
- 10:30Speaker 1: you everything you know, how to best operate your Toyota,
- 10:35Speaker 1: how to make it work, how what to do? They
- 10:38Speaker 1: got a troubleshooting section. Your faith is the same thing
- 10:43Speaker 1: as an owner's manual in your car. Open up that
- 10:46Speaker 1: bulk man, find out how to jumpstart your life, how
- 10:50Speaker 1: to troubleshoot it and get on with your life and
- 10:53Speaker 1: find out your purpose and develop a strong sense of
- 10:56Speaker 1: purpose this year. All right, okay, cool, you're listening show,
- 11:04Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, today it's going to be different. I
- 11:09Speaker 1: have decided, without conferring with anyone, that today would be
- 11:14Speaker 1: a day well, come on, wow, ignorance every day? Thank
- 11:22Speaker 1: that this? No should not like every day this? Watch this?
- 11:31Speaker 1: What a fool? But nothing? Hi front, ready and waiting.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Hey ladies, Hello, Steve, stay out the way, try to
- 11:44Speaker 1: control it, do your best. All right, Well let's okay,
- 11:53Speaker 1: Well then, if this is going to be a different
- 11:55Speaker 1: day of ignorance, let's have it. Don't back up now,
- 11:58Speaker 1: don't back down now. Okay, what you need. Let's start
- 12:01Speaker 1: with any question you want to ask me. Let's just
- 12:04Speaker 1: get this started right now. Any question you want to
- 12:07Speaker 1: ask me. This can carry over into six thirty four.
- 12:10Speaker 1: These are all ignorant, non responsible answers. Oh okay, tell junior,
- 12:19Speaker 1: I don't just but tell junior. You can see how
- 12:23Speaker 1: fat you are the most when you are wiping your backside.
- 12:31Speaker 1: That's when the most of your fat leans forward and
- 12:34Speaker 1: you're able to really see how much fat really is
- 12:37Speaker 1: in you. So you still so you still reaching behind yourself. Yes,
- 12:45Speaker 1: you're reaching back. So that's how we're still okay, okay,
- 12:52Speaker 1: all right, all right, now you're still jamming your hand
- 12:55Speaker 1: down the back of the new level of ignorance. Okay,
- 12:59Speaker 1: you win. Oh my god, that you the fattest. That's
- 13:08Speaker 1: when I didn't think. I didn't think you can talk yourselves.
- 13:12Speaker 1: I really didn't. But man, oh man, you gotta put
- 13:17Speaker 1: your hand on the wall in front of It's early, guys,
- 13:21Speaker 1: it's early in the morning. Yeah, people are havn't they're
- 13:24Speaker 1: eating or they're just getting out just where they'verybody going
- 13:28Speaker 1: breakfast time. Wow. Really, okay, let's start this again, Steve,
- 13:33Speaker 1: because you speak to us again. Yeah, that was that's unacceptable,
- 13:38Speaker 1: bar see it. I just wanted to be there. Ain't

- 34:32Speaker 1: governor Missouri is the latest Midwest head of state to
- 34:35Speaker 1: declare a state of emergency because of severe flooding. At
- 34:38Speaker 1: least three deaths are blamed on the heavy rains and

- 35:00Speaker 1: while the new order does call for schools to promise
- 35:02Speaker 1: to uphold free inquiry in order to qualify for billions
- 35:06Speaker 1: of dollars in federal money, public college is already required
- 35:09Speaker 1: to uphold the First Amendment. President Trump, though, raised the
- 35:12Speaker 1: possibility of withholding government funds. You may remember from UC

- 35:48Speaker 1: Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, several members of the Congress, foreign
- 35:52Speaker 1: President Obama, and even actor Robert de Niro. Sayak's been
- 35:55Speaker 1: held without bail since last October. He was in court
- 35:58Speaker 1: the other day and he was really blubbering. A Justice
- 36:01Speaker 1: Department says that the white police officer who shot and
- 36:03Speaker 1: killed an unarmed black man Untilso, Oklahoma, three years ago,
- 36:06Speaker 1: will not face civil rights chargers. According to The New

- 36:22Speaker 1: killed mister Crutcher because he reached into his car and
- 36:25Speaker 1: she said it looked like he might have been getting
- 36:26Speaker 1: a gun. However, video of the incident shows mister Crutcher
- 36:29Speaker 1: with both hands raised above his head when Betty Joe

- 40:55Speaker 1: with anger? How would you do it? Probably? All of
- 40:59Speaker 1: the above for me without the calm though you're already nowhere,
- 41:05Speaker 1: coming bigger, all of it, all of you above, for me,

- 47:57Speaker 1: to actually help out in the black community. Huh. So
- 48:00Speaker 1: BP E t MC is actually an organization and we're

- 48:09Speaker 1: What's the hell is in BP? What is that for? U?
- 48:11Speaker 1: BP TMC is is? Uh? Black people eat too much chicken?
- 48:17Speaker 1: And what we're trying to do is, man, you gotta
- 48:20Speaker 1: be kidding me. Man, man, this is this is Remy sir.
- 48:23Speaker 1: We're trying to get you all to actually sign a petition.
- 48:25Speaker 1: What's going on is black people are buying too much chicken.
- 48:28Speaker 1: You gotta be kidding me with this man. This is
- 48:31Speaker 1: a white man? Who is this man? I am Caucasian, sir, Yes,
- 48:36Speaker 1: Now why are you calling me with this? Well, what
- 48:38Speaker 1: we're trying to do is we're trying to get how
- 48:41Speaker 1: do you get my number? First of all, actually were
- 48:43Speaker 1: getting we're getting numbers from supermarkets that are letting us
- 48:46Speaker 1: know the people. Let's look with my phone. This man's chicken. Man,
- 48:53Speaker 1: you even man me get smack one of y'all. Okay, sir.

- 49:15Speaker 1: reach Valerie a valve. This a shame. I can I
- 49:18Speaker 1: help you? All right? My name is Remy. I'm with
- 49:21Speaker 1: VPE TMC. How you doing. I'm doing fine and you
- 49:26Speaker 1: I'm very well. Man. Listen, what we're trying to do is, uh,
- 49:29Speaker 1: if I take a little bit of your time, we're
- 49:31Speaker 1: trying to actually get a survey signed by people in
- 49:34Speaker 1: the black community. We're actually trying to help out in
- 49:36Speaker 1: the black community. The organization is BPE TMC. And what
- 49:40Speaker 1: this is is black What is that? Uh, that's that's
- 49:44Speaker 1: black people eat too much chicken. So what we're doing
- 49:48Speaker 1: is we're trying to get what black say that woman
- 49:51Speaker 1: time for me? Black people eat too much chicken? You
- 49:55Speaker 1: see there's been a shortage in chicken. So what we're
- 49:57Speaker 1: trying to do is get black people to chicken. And
- 50:00Speaker 1: you want to do a survey, Well we want what
- 50:03Speaker 1: we want you guys to do with sign a petition
- 50:05Speaker 1: that you're not going to eat anymore chicken this year.
- 50:08Speaker 1: Why didn't they even make sense? We just don't eat chicken.
- 50:11Speaker 1: You know, we eat beef, we eat steak, eat fish.
- 50:14Speaker 1: I don't So you're trying to part out off the market. Now,
- 50:17Speaker 1: why would you want to telling us not to to
- 50:19Speaker 1: eat chicken and we eat other stuff too? Why are
- 50:22Speaker 1: you getting her DND in front because this doesn't make
- 50:24Speaker 1: any sense. The test study, man, was over chicken, and
- 50:27Speaker 1: it just seems like that this study. Who did this
- 50:30Speaker 1: test study? Well we did, man, we're BPE TMC and
- 50:34Speaker 1: what we're after doing the test study, we did realize
- 50:36Speaker 1: that the black people are the ones that chest. I
- 50:39Speaker 1: don't just do it after two black people, I mean
- 50:42Speaker 1: just use white people. But white people eat chicken too
- 50:45Speaker 1: and shes diets and stuff. Okay man, Well Asian? What
- 50:50Speaker 1: about the Hispanic? Did you use them? Okay? Man? Listen,
- 50:53Speaker 1: what the bottom line is our first study is black
- 50:56Speaker 1: people and What we're trying to do is get you
- 50:58Speaker 1: guys to cut back on eating yesterday should be everybody.
- 51:01Speaker 1: This is something when you get my number from man
- 51:04Speaker 1: we got we got numbers from the supermarkets that of people,
- 51:06Speaker 1: that number from no supermarkets. I ain't give my number
- 51:09Speaker 1: to no supermarket. This is don't making me damn sense.
- 51:12Speaker 1: You're calling me, interrupting me about something like this. This
- 51:15Speaker 1: is this bottom line, ma'am. You don't you don't tell me,
- 51:19Speaker 1: not telling me what the hair I can't you know mind,
- 51:23Speaker 1: you're not nice them push this un yes, you do
- 51:27Speaker 1: put this calling somebody telling them that black people eat
- 51:30Speaker 1: too much chicken? You and your partition. Would you like
- 51:34Speaker 1: to hear what the survey is actually saying. No, I
- 51:36Speaker 1: don't want to hear what the survey is actually saying,
- 51:38Speaker 1: because what you're saying about a whole bunch of but
- 51:41Speaker 1: the survey is saying that. This is Nephew taught me
- 51:44Speaker 1: from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. What Valerie, this is
- 51:49Speaker 1: nephew tom Oh my god, oh oh, I'm all right.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Dare you have it? Nephew? Tell me Frank phone called
- 52:06Speaker 1: too much? It's never you can never have too much
- 52:08Speaker 1: nicken I never heard of black people say that you
- 52:13Speaker 1: can win too much. Barbecue chicken, baby chicken en. Oh,
- 52:28Speaker 1: hopefuls is too hot, It's way too damn ht. Why
- 52:31Speaker 1: do you say that? Because I bought some soup from
- 52:34Speaker 1: Whole Food. I paid twelve dollars and forty nine cents
- 52:38Speaker 1: for a low container of soup. Was the camel? It
- 52:42Speaker 1: was okay, but it was twelve dollars. I couldn't really
- 52:44Speaker 1: enjoy it. First of all, Come on, Steve, like you
- 52:51Speaker 1: don't have money, Whole Food costs more to shop at
- 52:56Speaker 1: than a regular grocery store. Right now, you can either
- 52:59Speaker 1: pay the little extra money that it costs to eat
- 53:01Speaker 1: the groceries are you can pay the medical bills for
- 53:04Speaker 1: eating the wrong stuff dollars soup this Listen at that
- 53:10Speaker 1: your first stup. Listen to what I'm saying. That is
- 53:19Speaker 1: seven sixty. The soup was fifty six. I'm telling you
- 53:31Speaker 1: was really too damn Oh you're vegan now I forgot.
- 53:35Speaker 1: Don't call me that and that a racial s All right? Listen,
- 53:44Speaker 1: coming up next, it's today's strubbery. How much seventy two dollars.
- 53:54Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening Dave Hard
- 54:00Speaker 1: Morning Show. It's time for today's Strawberry Letter. And if
- 54:03Speaker 1: you need advice on relationships, if you need advice on dating, work, sex, parenting,
- 54:10Speaker 1: and more, submit your Strawberry Letter to Steve HARVEYFM dot

- 54:21Speaker 1: get to clicking. We have to be really write Steve.
- 54:25Speaker 1: We have to be really specific because sometimes if we
- 54:28Speaker 1: just say submit your letter, they're asking you for money
- 54:31Speaker 1: and all kinds of things. So we just want to
- 54:32Speaker 1: concentrate on relationships. You've seen in all the money requests,
- 54:35Speaker 1: you want to wasting your time. That's what you're doing,
- 54:40Speaker 1: not sending you no money. I don't know you didn't look.
- 54:43Speaker 1: I got enough people asking me for money that I know.
- 54:45Speaker 1: I don't even like them no more. If you send
- 54:48Speaker 1: me moting too requests for money and I don't respond,
- 54:51Speaker 1: notice I've developed a dislike. I'm not calling you back,
- 54:57Speaker 1: all right, never you Let's go Buckloo, hold on tight.
- 55:00Speaker 1: We got it. Here It is the straw Barry letter. Subject.
- 55:04Speaker 1: She is making me want to fight her. Here Stephen Shirley,
- 55:08Speaker 1: I am a wife and a mother of two children.
- 55:11Speaker 1: I've been married for eleven years to my wonderful husband,
- 55:15Speaker 1: but I recently found out he had been cheating on
- 55:17Speaker 1: me for a year. I found out when the woman
- 55:20Speaker 1: started calling me. She told me that she was taking
- 55:23Speaker 1: good care of him when he is away from home
- 55:26Speaker 1: with her. I confronted him about it, and of course
- 55:29Speaker 1: he denied it. I prayed to the Lord to show
- 55:32Speaker 1: me the truth. As time went on, I never told
- 55:35Speaker 1: him that I was still receiving calls from the woman.
- 55:38Speaker 1: She even sent me pictures of my husband naked, so
- 55:41Speaker 1: there was my proof. He finally came clean and apologized.
- 55:45Speaker 1: I was so hurt and angry. I loved and trusted him.
- 55:49Speaker 1: He told me that he had been trying to stop
- 55:52Speaker 1: seeing her, but she was threatening him the whole time.
- 55:55Speaker 1: Well after she sent the pictures to me, he finally
- 55:58Speaker 1: left her alone. Gave him and we're working on our marriage.
- 56:03Speaker 1: But we still have our moments. The problem is now
- 56:06Speaker 1: this heffa won't leave him alone. We have been We've
- 56:10Speaker 1: both changed our numbers and blocked her on all of
- 56:12Speaker 1: our social media pages. My husband has made it clear
- 56:15Speaker 1: that he does not want this woman. He said he
- 56:20Speaker 1: was just in a bad place at that time. What
- 56:22Speaker 1: should I do. Now, I've already beat his behind? Should
- 56:25Speaker 1: I beat hers? Too? I'm tired of her? How can
- 56:28Speaker 1: I get her to leave us alone? Please help? Well,
- 56:31Speaker 1: that's one way, maybe if you do beat her behind,
- 56:34Speaker 1: Since you beat his behind, I'm not opposed to it
- 56:37Speaker 1: at all, But and I have to tell you this,
- 56:39Speaker 1: it's really not your responsibility entirely. Okay. I'm not mad
- 56:45Speaker 1: at you, and I do understand if you want to
- 56:46Speaker 1: fight her. She's taunting you, she's stalking you. She's throwing
- 56:50Speaker 1: her affair with your man up in your face. You
- 56:53Speaker 1: have forgiven your husband and taken him back. So what
- 56:57Speaker 1: is he doing to stop all of this? Is he
- 56:59Speaker 1: just reaping the benefits that you know, he slid by
- 57:02Speaker 1: this affair and he was able to, you know, slide
- 57:05Speaker 1: back in with you. What is he doing to stop
- 57:07Speaker 1: it all? I mean, you know there's things called restraining orders.
- 57:11Speaker 1: Is he helping you at all? Or is he just
- 57:13Speaker 1: turning his back to the whole thing. I blame him
- 57:16Speaker 1: for a lot of it, especially the fact that you
- 57:19Speaker 1: know now that you've taken him in, he's back in
- 57:21Speaker 1: your good graces and he's doing nothing. So to me,
- 57:24Speaker 1: he needs to stop you guys need to need to
- 57:27Speaker 1: do it together united front. Let her know that this
- 57:31Speaker 1: is definitely not the way you want to continue in
- 57:34Speaker 1: this situation, Steve Shirley, I think you missed a piece
- 57:37Speaker 1: of information here, Darling, she said, Darling, that album will
- 57:42Speaker 1: go back over the letter. But she said that what
- 57:45Speaker 1: he doesn't know is that she's still contacting him. Oh
- 57:49Speaker 1: so he don't even know about all this. Well, he
- 57:53Speaker 1: knew he slept with her, he knew he had anywhere.
- 57:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna get into that I didn't miss that, which
- 57:59Speaker 1: you may. You hold him responsible for all this, So
- 58:03Speaker 1: nothing he can do it's gonna fix it for you
- 58:06Speaker 1: because you have us, you have up. Damn Sully. This
- 58:11Speaker 1: man ain't cheated on you, but you're taking it on
- 58:17Speaker 1: as though he's cheated on you. Let's be forgiving, no, Shelly,
- 58:22Speaker 1: you just sent me a scripture this morning. This morning.
- 58:25Speaker 1: Your scripture was to forgive people the way that Christ
- 58:29Speaker 1: in Heaven forgives us. But there's no forgiveness in your
- 58:33Speaker 1: heart for this letter whatever. So let me take another
- 58:36Speaker 1: approach to this. Yet, my wonderful husband, this woman says,
- 58:42Speaker 1: found out he had been cheating on her. Now a
- 58:44Speaker 1: wonderful husband. That's just at the top of the letter.
- 58:46Speaker 1: After that, he did bat out of hell. He might
- 58:50Speaker 1: as well just gone somewhere. I found out when the
- 58:52Speaker 1: woman started calling me. She told me she was taking
- 58:56Speaker 1: good care of him when he was away from home.
- 58:59Speaker 1: See this, it's a dandy hell for him. She ain't
- 59:02Speaker 1: got to do that, but she trying to pry him
- 59:05Speaker 1: loose from you. This is a skank move. See she
- 59:11Speaker 1: number two trying to be number one. Rule number one
- 59:16Speaker 1: for number twos. Number twos very rarely ever get to
- 59:20Speaker 1: be number one. It can happen, but rarely is what nephew,
- 59:32Speaker 1: this is for you. See she told me she was
- 59:37Speaker 1: taking good camera when he was away from home. I
- 59:40Speaker 1: confront him about it, and of course he denied it. Yes, yes,
- 59:47Speaker 1: you he had to. You first gotta deny because you
- 59:52Speaker 1: gotta balance yourself. The first line that we always tell
- 59:55Speaker 1: ladies is to gather ourselves. We got to gather, they say,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: because of all you surprised because you've been caught. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Claudia been calling me. What Claudia? She says, she takes
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: good care of you. When you Claudia, clock, who the Alice, Claudie?
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: You know who the hell Claudie is. I don't know. No,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: damn Claudie. She said, what now, she'd be taking good
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: care of you when you over there? What you tell calendar?
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: I don't know her name is Claudie? She right there.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: I don't know this health. So now I prayed to
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: the Lord to show me the truth. And as time
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: went on, I never told him. He denied that. I
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: prayed to the Lord show me the truth. So as
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: time went on, never told me she was shoot. She
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: even sent me pictures of my husband. Niked. This is
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: where now we got to come to the realization that
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: we know Claude, because why is you over that neked?
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: But see he fell asleep at the spot. Come on,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: come on, work at the spot. I fell asleep. She
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: took a picture of me while I was naked because
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: I drank some of that green tea and I didn't know.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: I went to the doctor. I'm allegic to green tea. Yeah,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: it puts me out. I'm the only person living that
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: green tea makes unconscious. So I fell out naked. Too
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: many lives, so that was my proof. He finally came
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: clean and apologize, and we'll continue the letter right at
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: all right. We'll have part two of Steve's response to
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: this crazy letter at twenty three after you're listening show
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: all right, Steve, come on, let's go with part two
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: of your response. His wife and mother too been married
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: eleven years. Wonderful husband found out he was cheating on
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: a woman was calling her, telling this woman, I take
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: good care of your husband when he away from home.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: She's trying to pry him loose. She number two, trying
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: to become number one. She confronted him. He denied it,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: as he should, because there is no proof. You cannot
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: come clean right away. You must gather yourself. He didn't call,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: are you calling huffle? What you calling huffle? You knew
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: what this was. You knew what I was mad? What
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: you're calling huff on? He didn't have it out with him.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: He denied it. I prayed, never told him that I
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: was still receiving calls from what. She even said pictures
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: of my husband naked. Now is where the walls is
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: caving in? Your asses naked? But of course you're not
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: at her house, so you're at the spa. Yeah, just
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: come out the steam room and that Steve Treen, that
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: steam room and green teeth. It had knocked your ass.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Towels and rogues at the spot I drink that tea.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: I couldn't get you that time, So stee when your
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: ladyship pushed the phone in your face and say is
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: this you? What do you do? That is not me?
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: I don't care if my ass is jacked up in
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: the air with my so security number stamped on my
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: ain't me. You're just denying it. That's just that's that
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: man's photoshop. They got that. Naw, they got that. Naw,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: that ain't even my thing. Look at umber stamped yea
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: on my ass. That's not me. So now here, let
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: me go on with the letter. Uh so that was
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: the proof. He finally came clean and apologize. I was hurting, angry.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: I loved and trusted him. He told me to hit
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: the part where he got good at He told me
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: that he had been trying to stop seeing her, but
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: she was threatening him the whole time. That's the truth,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: and that's a good one. Yeah, y'all trying to stop,
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: but this he every time she was gonna tell, so
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: I kept on going by there so she wouldn't tell.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: And you know she was telling the truth because didn't
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: she call you? I tried to avoid that. So anyway,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: that was the man in me trying to stop. So
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: finally after she sent the pictures to me, he finally
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: left her alone because now we know this health of
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: crazy together now see the number two crazy now but
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: crazy sexist is good, that's what's wrong with it. It's good.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: So I forgave him and we're working on our marriage.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: But we still have our moments. The problem now is
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: this health won't leave him alone. We've changed our phone numbers,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: blocked on all our social media page and my husband
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: made it clean. Does not want this woman, He really don't.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: He really don't. He just made a mistake. He getting
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: it together. He said he just had a bad place
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: in time, been a bad place at the time. I've
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: been I've been that for a year for a year, yeah, yeah,
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: a bad place for about tens It can happen. I've
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: had a bad place for about whole year. I was
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: in a bad place for damn the ten years. Yeah, oh,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: it can happen. I was waiting to whole team. Yeah,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: now what, I just had a bad place. I've already
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: beat his behind. Yeah whatever whatever, how they't go for
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: you you ain't doing. Should I beat her too? I'm
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: tired of that? How can I get her leave us alone? Now?
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: Should I beat her too? I think you should? Yeah, yeah, see,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: I think you should. But here's some smarter ways to
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: do it, because they no need you getting in jail.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: The group you just saying, now, listen to me. Here's
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: a d Facebook hub posted on her Facebook page that
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: she is a cheetah and a husband stiller. Oh man,
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: that's good. Posted on her job we brought in social
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: media that she Yeah, this is how you get rid
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: of somebody, that she is a husband stiller and a
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: home record record and it's ruining the lives of two babies.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: There's a term for that. Go ahead, star, would it
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: be no? No? When you when you shame someone publicly
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: like that, can you get in trouble for that? No?
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: Hell no? I think you could do that. This email
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: her employer, oh man, see notify her church. That's that's
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: posted in the lit him read it in the church announcers.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Yeah what yeah? Who? Because it's easy. It's easy. It's
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: easy to have a church. Yeah they got they ain't
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: got good firewalls. You could just drop this information in
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: that sister Bernie Ferguson is a cheetoh a home record.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: It's ruining the lives of two babies trying to take
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: their father from me. Yeah, and just you could get
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: on social media. You do her on social media? Ship stopped.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: She can't stop all in post see go on her face,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: find all her friends. Now you're sending everything to her friends. God,
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: has this happened to you? What just somebody just sending
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: stuff to about stuff? Oh no, I'm on tabloids, I'm
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: on the grocery show. You ain't got it. You ain't
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: gonna get you, ma'am. Yeah, you go to damn grocery
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: shore and you gonna just want a candy bar assing
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: your face. You ain't got open up your damn Facebook
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: can He's just off the hook. An'tybody did that to
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: me on social media? You ain't got I'm just up
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: in here of slow dogs down. You want some gum man.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: I get sick of my sisters calling me with the
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: old lass. But my sister Mowna, she good. I'm praying
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: for you baby. Ain't none of that true. We don't
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: believe about that, baby, bro. We know how you is.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna stump that hell for when I see it, though,
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: my sister mona man, he's off the hook. Huh huh,
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: he's off the hook. She took him back forgave him.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: Well happens to him. Well, something has already happened to him.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: He's paid, Shirley. See y'all, y'all want to keep making
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: a man pay. But the man pay. The man is
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: paying her year out of my life with cheating on her.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: He didn't take a year out of your life. You
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: were still living now, Your life was going on. You
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: just ain't know what was going on. He didn't take
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: a year. Surely the man did not take a year
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: out of your life by cheating on you. You had
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: that whole year, but now I was still shopping. You
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: don't get it back, Shirley, see you evil read Joe scripted,
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: Let's go to break. Surely you're listening show and yeah,
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: look that I don't think you're I don't think you're
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: getting He's getting his just due. This woman had to
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: go through all this. Yeah, maybe she didn't know about it.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: She knew something we haven't intuition. Of course, she's been
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: married to her, she's been married to him for eleven
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: years he cheated on her, and now this woman keeps
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: taunting her, stalking her. And yeah, the number two as
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: you called her, and nothing happens to him. She took
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: him back, she forgave him. He's good, but she hasn't
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: still deal with it. Surely a lot happens to a man.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: First of all, not enough. He got busted. He got busted.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: He didn't lose any lambs. She didn't. Not the man,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: she said, she the man gotta hit it this saying,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: and what he catching at the house behind this because
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: in the letter that ladies said, but we still have
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: our moments. Oh yes, Oh, and who you think is
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: providing when they come from see? So that's her. He
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: ain't off scott free. But you are unforgiving, Shirley and unrelenting,
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: and you are the last two scriptures Shirley sent me
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: on Sunday. Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: That's John. Yeah, I'm just going what's the problem. But
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: I'm just going to look at your scriptures you've been
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: sending me. She's not going by none of them. She
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: ain't went by man one of them. Man just a hypocrite,
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: just sending thank you, Carla. I am not a hypocrite.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: And he gives off scott Free. She scott Free gave him.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: But the woman still bothering her. But that's the right
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: as a result of what he did to her. Oh,
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: let me back up and throw something in the mix
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: that ain't out here yet. What what fought in this?
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: Could the woman the wife? This is not her? He
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: had to go on. I didn't say it was junior, junior,
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: But let me ask you a question. Quiet, let me
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: ask you a question. And I don't think that women
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: should take on the blame of husbands and men who
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: cheat up. That's not I'm asking you this question, though.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: But there are times because let me explain something to you,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: as I did in the book that sold so many
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: copies that helped you with and once again being hypocritic, hic.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: So let me say this to you. That is a
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: section in there that I write that the three things
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: a man has to have loyalty and love. Yeah, you
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: have to be loyal to me. You have to love me.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: Number two is support, and number three is to cook him. Now,
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: let's just say at your house you're not getting one
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: of those three. Pick which one you'd like to discuss
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: your loyal so you're not being loyal anymore. So you're
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: dogging him behind his back? Are you cheating on him?
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: You could have cheated on him in the past, or
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: you talk about him behind his back. You don't support
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: the man, So that means you should go out and
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: cheat with another woman who sends me naked pictures of you.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: That's what's going to happen. No, listen to me. It's
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: not a solution. But if you are trying, if you're
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: not getting something at home, I'm just telling you the truth. Thing.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: I can't believe you're trying to make this out. I'm
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: not making it out. If you're not getting something at home,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: you gonna go get it somewhere. Okay, period, that's how
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: I'm well. Okay, he did that, she she took him back,
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: she forgave him. But now this woman is still bothering her,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: all right, So that says that's because of what he
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: did to her. Absolutely Okay, So then he needs to pay.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: He needs to pay. She needs to beat his behind,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: she needs she beat his behind behind, she beat her,
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: she needs to beat her behind. I'm not mad if
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: she does that. Group and neither are you and neither
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: are you, Steve Harvey, Shelley, I have another group. I
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: can't believe you're making this out to be the woman's fault. No,
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: listen to me. I'm not making it out a cheater.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: He just a dog cheater. I just threw out what
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: if to you? It don't justify what he did. But
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: I'm telling But when you say that, it sounds like
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: you're defying. It sounds like it's really a strawberry letter.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: That's no justifying for cheating. There's no justification it is.
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: It is a justification for cheating. There is a justification
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: for cheating, Shirley. It's a justification for cheating when women
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: do it. Yeah, yes, of course it is. Excuse me,
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: did you just say there's a justification for when women cheating. Yes,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: because but they can't be a justification for when me
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: and ch right there? Are you kidding me? It's a
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: double standard, Steve, It's double Do you agree that they
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: are double standards? Double standards? Okay? Then I rest my cake?
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: What what is going wrong? That's some illogical You're trying
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: to go in an argument with me? Woman crazy. I'm
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: so sleep tomorrow about this. I'm so sorry, thank you.
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: He's wrong, He's wrong. He long they've been married for
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: eleven years is wrong too. Yeah, contacting this wife and
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: trying to make her miserable and remind her of the
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: affair that her husband had, she needs her behind and
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: and she wouldn't have done it runs for him cheating
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: with her. This is all his faults. Yeah, I got
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: that creating scriptures that I that I sent to you,
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: and there ain't you're not being understanding of this situation.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: Not and and I and I'm not understanding unapologetic. Surely
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: I just told a woman how to fix it Facebook.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: This woman on home, tell all her friends what she
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: did posted on her job. Well, maybe she'll write us back, Steve,
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: and email on her employer and notify her church. I'm
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: not an evangelist. Oh no, she's not, because she don't
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: do nothing. She care that that is not true. Sure
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: to take a week off, sineme script and get yourself
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: to God. You need to go up in the mouth, whatever, man, whatever,
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: Just make sure you read those scripts, merchant. When I
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: read it back to hear it, we'll be right back
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show. Carla wanted to ask
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: you some parenting advice. You said, you've been a parent
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: for thirty six years. What you got, Carla? Okay, so
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: listen to this, Steve. My friends, a lot of us
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: are parents. You know, we hang out, we do things
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: together with our children. So the latest discussion, you know,
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: we have young kids. So the latest discussion is you're
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: an expert at this. At what age should you teach
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: your child hotter, cuss, curse, or say bad words. Well, well,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: you shouldn't teach them. There's no age when you should
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: teach them bad because bad words are not necessary. It
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: all depends on circumstance and environment. Custom is an environmental
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: circumstantial thing that you had to be able to participate in.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: And every circumstance and all environments do not require cusom
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: you need to be able. So it's not a good
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: time for the situations will bring out the child when
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: it's necessary. So it's not for you to decide I'm
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: gonna teach my child cousin. I never taught any of
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: my kids to cousin. My father never taught me to cousin.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: I just picked it up. Okay, So you overheard it,
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: and the decision to use custom a little bit more regularly.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Was somewhere around nine, Yes, nine is when I started
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: implementing YEA. By twelve, I was you know, I wasn't.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: It wasn't really fun. I'm good. It wasn't. I was
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: just throwing it out there. But I had a lot
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: more situations, and all I got the more useful and
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: more timely, and more situations presented themselves. So that's how
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: I did it. So I don't say that there's an
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: age that you give a child, Okay, And here's why
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: I'm asking this because I know a lot of people
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: look uncomfortable with this question. But it's a different time
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: for these kids and going into middle school. It's just
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: been tough with a group of people that we hang
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: with with their kids. So they were saying they want
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: to teach their children how to say blank, you be
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: get out of my face in a situation of bullying
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: and bullying. Yeah, So yeah, I don't. I don't think
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: it's necessary. See you are here's the problem, caller, your
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: little crew that y'all go to school with. Y'all suburban parents, y'all,
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: y'all from the hood. Yeah, but y'all have become suburbanized
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: and you all are suburban parents. So now you've you've
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: trying to remain bushy and you're trying to live up
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: to your status status in life now. But you're calling
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: and you're trying to know where to implement hoodism into
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: your kids. And your kids don't really need that, and
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: so you've got to teach them other ways. I don't
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: recommend teach seriously, do not recommend teaching cousin to kids,
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: because I mean, it's gonna backfire here. Yeah, you know,
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: I mean you don't teach them negative behave? Now? Did
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: I teach my children take care of themselves? Yeah? But
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: I found out I was doing it for no reason.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: Somebody hit you. Everybody go down there. My kids ain't
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: down the street fighting and then come home and you
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: go get all your brothers and go back down there.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: What kid? On a matter of fact, the house too,
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: damn fall Wait, they're not at six Flags like China,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: right See. I wanted to tell my sons that, but
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: they went to school where they ain't fighting. They ain't
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: fighting you. They talk about your own own instagrams. My
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: daddy took me to get my head for my could
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: ever said that was your training? That was it? My
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: daddy took me over there because we were They weren't
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: fighting in my neighborhood, but over there, my cousins every
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: they ever said by twelth, yeah, get my butt tore up.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: How you grew up, It's like you said, how we
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: grew up and how we're parenting and how our children
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: are growing up. It's just it's two different worlds, and
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: it's and it's some parenting that just doesn't apply today,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: and then a lot of it does, but you all
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: have removed it because of your new way. But your
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: kids are suburban kids. So when the bulleting goes down
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: at school, how do you teach them how to cut?
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: You ain't gotta teach them out the cuss. You gotta
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: get the bullet out your face. You don't get the
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: bullet out your face by cussing. There's a physical activity
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: that can get the bullet out. If you don't want
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: to teach the physical activity, then you got to go
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: with something else. But bullets don't respond to get your
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: blankety blank out my blankety blank. They don't because they
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: bullets hell. They don't. They want told you I've been
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: to put my blanketing blank in your blanket now you
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: STI what's your comeback? See, it's hard to outcuss a bullet,
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: So you got to teach your children the other things.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: But I don't recommend teaching your children how to talk
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: bad to people because that doesn't work because it's just
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: talk and eventually it wants you talk bad. You had
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: to bag some of it up. Did your parents have
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: put motivation behind you behind the bullet, like if you
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: don't wolve his, I'm gonna be old us. Yeah, that
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: was the motivation I had. Let me run again. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: what you're crying for? Yeah? Yeah, come home crying one.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna give you something to cry about. Then I'm
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: gonna take you down there. My Brotherston took me back
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: down the street to fight Manny, Me and Manny. Me
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: and Manny got in four fights in one day. Me
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: and Manny was through with it. Mann Manny, my boy
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: Manning getting hitting the picture right up there to dude
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: with the hat on with the gold jacket, and that
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: where they named in my street, my boy Manny. We
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: fought full time. When me and Manny was through. After
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: the first fight, our brothers and sisters got involved. Ah.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: Then they were beef is Rose Calhoun bought Manny back
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: up to my house to beat me up. Big rolls. Huh.

- 1:22:57Speaker 1: the Manny whopped me the first time. I'm through you.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: When Manny we free us. But since she brought him
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: up to my house and my daddy was on the
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: porch watching, I got to ten minutes. All right, listen,

- 1:23:31Speaker 1: brand new people who listen. Man, I love Jay Radio. Man. Yes,
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: you know. Steve has a notion. We have time to
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: roulette this where we take five subjects. We put the
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: subjects on the wheel. We spun the wheel around and
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: around and around. Where the wheel stops, we'll do the
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: damn thing. Here we go. Number one, I apologize baby,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: this is the first time this has ever happened. Never.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: Number two, Well, when is the baby going to sleep? Man?
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: That is me? Number three? How long is he going
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: to stay in the sixth grade once again. Number four,
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: Well you're big and bad. Come on down here. Okay,
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: number five, I didn't get fired. They just tripping at
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: the job. Been a day. That's when you want Jay,
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: You did not want Number one? What is it? I apologize, baby.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: This is the first time this has ever happened. That one.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: You know, the problem is you. You is the problem.
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: I take concentrate because of you. You're doing something to
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: me make me lose my concentration and whatever it is,
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: stop it. You need to focus. That was personal that
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: I wanted to stop. Man. Okay, well look at, look
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: at I want to apologize. This had never happen to
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: both with me and the microwave went off at the
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: same time. I want to say, I'm sorry. I did
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: not know I was through any Listen, listen, listen. I apologize.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: This is the first time this ever happened. I dreamed
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: I was peeing, all right, That's why we both laying
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: here with I'm just saying, this is the fair time
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: I was peeing in my dream. Yeah, when you're twelve,
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: you can't have people come. Damn baby, I'm sorry a little.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: This first time that's ever happened, but I ain't never
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: been in a committee relationship. I didn't know the rule.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: So she's putting her clothes on right now. Okay, baby,
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: part is just the first time this has ever happened
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: to me. And since we had worked out a payment
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: and it was so quick on my part, I should
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: get some of that money back. I didn't have to
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: pay the full price. Okay, I say that. I'll tell
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: you what, Listen, I really really asked. Sorry, I know
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: I asked for some doing the commercial breaks in the commercial.
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: I'm so sorry. It's for you eight even back, all right.
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: They've never had him before, never baby baby. I'm sorry.
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: I didn't know it was your mama, Gail. All right,
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: coming up more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to. A new study out of
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: the University of Queensland, Australia determined that being in a
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: relationship makes people fatter. The study found that those were
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: the long term partner weighed on average twelve point seven
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: pounds more than single people. What what, and showed an
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: average weight gain of three point nine pounds per year.
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: And it could be that eating with someone leads people
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: to eat larger portions and more calories. Or it could
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: be that since they don't have you know, they don't
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: have to impress anyone, you, Uh, couples just kind of
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: let themselves go. Yeah, what's it. It's when you out
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: there running them. It's actually reduces calories. Yeah, when you
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: out there, listen to what when you out there running them?
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: You running them, that's exercise, that's work. You gotta get
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: over here, get back in here. Answer that phone right quick,
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: dave over and knocking off the table. You gotta run
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: down here, dry your car, hide it in the bushes
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: around the corner, walk back over to the house. Your
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: weight gonna stay down. Excuse me over the table. Yeah,
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: I've dove over a table to answer that phone. Oh phone.
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: So you can't be picker. You can't be. You're constantly
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: looking at the windows and who might show up. You
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: don't know, you may pland you you're nervous and you
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: hard to have. You can't have company over. You don't
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: know if we're gonna come over. Yeah, he stress, and
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: you lie. You can't eat on the tail because you
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: gotta camp your mouth for that. And I got lines
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: to tail. I can't be sitting up in here eating
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: and you gotta remember them. You can't. You can't eat.
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: You gotta go over there and eat with that person
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: and run over that man. You can't lie and eat
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: at the same time. It's too much. That's why single
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: people are trembling. It's it's possible that you can't lie
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: any I don't done it. How to time? You can
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: do it. It's doable. All this stuff that y'are running from,
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: I run to it. This don't don't don't accept this
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: that you can't do the challenge. Man, know what you're doing.
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: Take your take your phone at night, put it in
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: your draws. You what do you go back to the
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: house and get your phone? Hey? Oh yeah, right, calls
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: trying to get there. So wait, what are you saying?
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: So you're on your way to work? Yeah? Yeah, you
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: half way to work. Yeah, you discover you left your phone.
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: You gotta get that phone. I'm gonna be late. You
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: gotta get that phone. I might get fine, And whoever
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: you work for will understand. White. Hold on, let's let's ask.
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: Let's ask the boss. Is this true? Boss? Oh, we
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: don't make we don't understand. I don't understand what Oh
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: we know what's going on? But you have left your phone.
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: Oh I'm saying again, what Dave? You have left your phone?
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: Tell everything? Oh you sit here and act like you
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: go back home to remember that all hell broke. Don't
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: calm everybody worried about Timmy? Oh my god? We ever
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: heard from timy? Y'all stop all this staves. Something could
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: have happened to him. I'm gonna call his girlfriend. Don't
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: do that, all right? Job when we come back, last
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: break of the day and Steve's closing remarks, you don't
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: want to miss him. We'll be back at forty nine
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: after you're listening. Steve, what do you have for us?
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: Closing remarks? Wise today, Yeah, here's something that I think
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: is very helpful to people, and it would have helped
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: you open yourself up to really what God truly can
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: have for you. And the reason I'm saying that is
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: because oftentimes we limit what God can do in our
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: lives simply by the way we think and simply by
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: eye expectations. God has no He's limitless. You can't put
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: him in a box. You can't put what God can
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: do for you in the parameters of your thinking. What
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: you've got to do is You've got to open up
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: your mind so you can be open to all of
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: His goodness and what He can do for you. And
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: I'm saying that to say this because a lot of
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: times people ask God and only think about stuff that
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: they can see themselves attaining. Basically with your check. There's
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: a scripture that says you have not cause you ask not. Well,
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: then most people go, Lord, help me make my rent.
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: And then I have to ask you, well, don't he always?
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: Why would you not ask God for a mortgage? Well,
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: become a homeowner. Then here comes the thinking of man
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: when you start putting in stuff like well, I don't
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: make enough money, my credit score, I haven't been on
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: my job long enough. I can't afford that. Therefore, why
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: would I sit up and ask for that? See, you're
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: knocking yourself out of so many blessings that God can
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: have for you by your limited thinking. Because God has
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: no limits. So you have to open up your mind,
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: so you have to start thinking of things that is
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: in your imagination. Why would you not ask God for
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: a big house? You don't think that God got enough sense?
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: Based on this scripture, you have not called your ass not.
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: Most people don't ask because they don't see no way
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: they can get it. You don't think that if you
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: ask God for a big house, you don't think he
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: got enough sense to make a way for you to
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: get the house. You don't think that he knows that
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: you need more money and that he know how to
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: make a way for you to make more money. You
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: don't think he got that part figured out. You think
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: he needs your help figuring that out. You don't think
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: that he know that if you got an X amount
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: of dollars, your credit score really don't matter. You don't
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: think he know that He know all of that. But
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: you've limited to see what he can do and how
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: you can move in your life because you won't think
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: big enough. That is a book that changed my life.
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: The name of the book is called The Magic of
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: Thinking Big, and it's by David Schwartz. It's the Magic
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: of Thinking Big and I didn't understand this until I
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: was selling Amway. Amway was one of the greatest periods
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: of my life because it introduced me to all positive books.
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: It introduced me to self motivation and self help books,
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: and those are really the only books I read outside
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: of the Bible. I don't read anything. I don't read novels,
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: love stories. It ain't got no time for that, but
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: the power of positive thinking about Norman Vincent Peale Thinking
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. The Magic of Thinking Big
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: by David Schwartz. I have time to read that because
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: the Magic of Thinking Big taught me something. It taught
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: me that it does not require any more brain power
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: to think big than it does to think small. It
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: doesn't require anymore. You ain't got the grunt look. You
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: can say Voteswagon, or you can say Rose Royce. It doesn't.
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: Your brain don't have to shift and burn most sales,
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: and you gotta throw yourself into something to say Rose
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: Royce versus Votswagon. It doesn't hurt more to say rent
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: or mortgage. It doesn't hurt no more to say new
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: card than used card. It doesn't hurt more to say
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: hand me down than it costs such than it cost
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: you to say brand new. If you buy this book
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: The Magic of Thinking Big by David Schwartz, it's an
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: amazing way. It changed. Ain't my thinking in my twenties,
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: and so I started thinking big. Once I started thinking big,
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: I started opening up to the possibilities of God. Because
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: God is big. Am I not right? God is big?
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: So why would you get in the way of his
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: bigness with your small mindedness. See, you're getting in the
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: way of your blessings by the way you think. You
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: keep thinking in terms of your paycheck. Get God ain't
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: in your paycheck. Get out of your paycheck, man, Get
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: out of your current situations. Where you are it is
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: just temporary. God has another place for you. God got
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: a great life for you, but you got to invite
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: him in and let him show it to you. Quit
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: wasting his time with this little bit of man. Get
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: out of your own way. You are in your way
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: with your limited thinking. People ask me all the time, man,
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: why are you always at the meetings? Why are you?
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: Why don't you just sit out and take your day off?
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: Because I can't get where I'm going sitting down taking
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: my days off. I'm about the business of becoming successful
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: and happy. Now. Am I successful? Yeah? Am I happy? Yeah?
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: Happier than I ever been? But and I have everything
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: I need? Can I tell y'all that I don't need
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: nothing else? But I'm in the wrong side of life.
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: I just won't. I'm not greedy. I'm not asking you
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: to give me nothing. I'm willing to work for other things.
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: I want. I want to see how the other class
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: of people live. I want to see what that's like.
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: I want to see what it's like when my grandchildren's
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: children will remember my name because I left them something,
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: because I created a legacy that I put money away
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: from my grandchildren and my children's children. That's what I'm
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: working home. You can do that. God is capable. Get
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: out your way. This is the book again, y'all, The
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: magic of thinking, Big boy David Schward, go by, go by,
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: just go by it. They change the way you think.
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: Just check it out. It's really really great book. Those
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: are my clothes remarks. I have a great weekend. I'm
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: gonna get audio because I don't read that, so I
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: have somebody to read. And that's nor can you see it,
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: y'all have a great week here, y'all belated For all
