- 2:07Speaker 1: on dig me now wanted only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:11Speaker 1: radio show. Okay, here we go. Um. I was working out.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I was talking to a buddy of mine, and I
- 2:21Speaker 1: was telling him something that Bishop T. D. Jake's told
- 2:24Speaker 1: me one time I heard him say it. He said, oh,
- 2:29Speaker 1: I would hate to die and not do the thing
- 2:34Speaker 1: that I was born to do. I would hate to
- 2:39Speaker 1: die and not do the thing that I was born
- 2:45Speaker 1: to do. Man, oh man, oh man, man. That hit
- 2:49Speaker 1: me like a like a like a pile of bricks man,
- 2:53Speaker 1: because it made me feel so grateful that God has
- 2:59Speaker 1: allowed me to live my life this way now, and
- 3:05Speaker 1: I'm talking about grateful for all of it, the good,
- 3:09Speaker 1: the bad, and the ugly, and I have had all
- 3:13Speaker 1: of them. The person you see today it ain't always
- 3:18Speaker 1: who I was. It was on the inside of me,
- 3:21Speaker 1: but it hadn't externalized itself, if that's a word. It
- 3:25Speaker 1: hadn't been brought out. It was in here, but it
- 3:29Speaker 1: was under development. Who I am today was a process.
- 3:35Speaker 1: But like I said before, don't trip hem through with
- 3:40Speaker 1: me yet. Even today, I'm still an imperfect soldier for Christ. Today.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I still fall short oftentimes, but I'll tell you what,
- 3:54Speaker 1: I'm ever grateful for the life I have. And you
- 3:58Speaker 1: know what I wanted courage everybody today to explore your possibilities.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I mean, man, explore your possibilities. Why would you not
- 4:14Speaker 1: want to find out, discover or no what it is
- 4:22Speaker 1: God God for you? Why would you not want to
- 4:26Speaker 1: achieve or accomplish all of your possibilities? Now, as I
- 4:31Speaker 1: ask you this question, I want you to know that
- 4:34Speaker 1: the devil is busy, that he plays mind tricks. So
- 4:37Speaker 1: as you hear this, I already know he's saying to
- 4:40Speaker 1: some of y'all, Yeah, Steve, that's easy for you to say,
- 4:44Speaker 1: but I didn't got myself in this situation right here.
- 4:47Speaker 1: You ain't nothing too hard for God, nothing nothing. And see,
- 4:54Speaker 1: so as you listen to me, try to try to
- 4:58Speaker 1: get your mind open to this. Why would you not
- 5:01Speaker 1: want to explore all of your life's possibilities, what's possible
- 5:07Speaker 1: with your life? And I'm talking about from right where
- 5:10Speaker 1: you are right now. I'm not asking you to change.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I'm not asking you to do anything. I'm telling you
- 5:17Speaker 1: this is a fact that God can get you from
- 5:21Speaker 1: right where you are right now. Broken, misled, misguided, misunderstood, mistaken,
- 5:35Speaker 1: all of that, misfortunate, all of the misses you've been
- 5:39Speaker 1: talking about in your life. You know you I missed
- 5:43Speaker 1: a lottery, I missed my ride. They fined me. I
- 5:47Speaker 1: I missed the deadline. I didn't get it. Miss people. People,
- 5:51Speaker 1: people just miss stay self to death. If you've been
- 5:55Speaker 1: all in missus, God can get you from right where
- 5:58Speaker 1: you are. God a home run hit her. I'm here
- 6:02Speaker 1: to tell you that he's a home run hitter. He's
- 6:05Speaker 1: a put him over the wall whenever he wants to,
- 6:07Speaker 1: all the time, and you can be a recipient or
- 6:10Speaker 1: some of these home runs he'll put the bat in
- 6:12Speaker 1: your hand, but you got to swing now. Listen to me.
- 6:16Speaker 1: You got to stop feeling sorry for yourself. You got
- 6:19Speaker 1: to stop holding yourself down with beating yourself up. I
- 6:22Speaker 1: was listening to George Myers on TV the other day
- 6:25Speaker 1: and she said that she was talking to God, and
- 6:28Speaker 1: she said that she had kept asking God to forgive
- 6:31Speaker 1: her over and over one of her prayers, Lord, forgive
- 6:34Speaker 1: me and for something she had done, and she was
- 6:37Speaker 1: telling it to somebody. As I remember the story she
- 6:41Speaker 1: was telling, she says she was telling that somebody minister
- 6:43Speaker 1: or something, and the minister said, hey, hey, hey, he
- 6:47Speaker 1: heard you the first time. See a lot of us
- 6:51Speaker 1: we keep ourselves down and back because we keep beating
- 6:55Speaker 1: ourselves up for the mistakes we did in made. But
- 6:58Speaker 1: God is in a forgiving business all day long. He
- 7:02Speaker 1: forgives you time and time again. He won't hold you
- 7:06Speaker 1: down about it if you don't hold yourself down about it.
- 7:09Speaker 1: But I'm gonna tell you one more time. The devil
- 7:11Speaker 1: is busy. So what the devil do is he makes
- 7:13Speaker 1: you think you ain't worthy. He makes you think that
- 7:16Speaker 1: you've done something so despicable that you can't come back
- 7:19Speaker 1: from it. He makes you feel like you're so low
- 7:22Speaker 1: you can't go up high. He knocked you down and
- 7:24Speaker 1: make you feel like you've been knocked down hard than
- 7:26Speaker 1: anybody else. You can't get up. He wrote you so
- 7:29Speaker 1: deep down in that ditch you can't see over the edge.
- 7:33Speaker 1: God can come get you from no matter where you are.
- 7:37Speaker 1: I know a lady. I know a lady personally. The
- 7:41Speaker 1: doctors told her you got sixty days tops a year
- 7:47Speaker 1: and a half. Lady, she was still here. I'm telling you, man,
- 7:53Speaker 1: you ain't in no hole too deep for God. Magic
- 7:58Speaker 1: Johnson to tell you that. Let's sten to me, you
- 8:00Speaker 1: ain't in no hole too deep for God. Steve Harvey
- 8:03Speaker 1: can tell you that you ain't in a hole too
- 8:06Speaker 1: deep for God. Tyler Perry can tell you that. I
- 8:10Speaker 1: can name you some people. Bishop Jake can tell you that.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I can tell you. Kenneth Alma can tell you that.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Bishop Kenneth Olman I can tell you some people. Kirk
- 8:18Speaker 1: Franklin can tell you that. Donnie mcclarkton can tell you that.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I just know some people personally man that they've been
- 8:24Speaker 1: in a hole. Joel Oldstein can tell you about it.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I know some people man been down been in a
- 8:31Speaker 1: hole so deep. I bet you Paula Deane can tell
- 8:34Speaker 1: you about it. See. But but you know what, then
- 8:38Speaker 1: here we go, see we see see you know, see
- 8:42Speaker 1: we don't we don't like to talk about that because
- 8:44Speaker 1: now we want everybody to pay extra hard for some
- 8:47Speaker 1: mistakes they made when clearly and excuse me for being
- 8:51Speaker 1: a new Christian. But there is a prayer that I've
- 8:53Speaker 1: been saying since I was a little bit boy, and
- 8:55Speaker 1: it took me till I was a grown man to
- 8:57Speaker 1: understand it. Forgive us our trust path as we forgive
- 9:01Speaker 1: those who trust passed against us. So see, it ain't
- 9:04Speaker 1: my job to hold nobody down, to keep my knee
- 9:08Speaker 1: on somebody's neck. Who am I? I'm gonna need some
- 9:11Speaker 1: forgiveness in a second here, probably today. See so all this,
- 9:16Speaker 1: you're holding people down with the way you feel about him.
- 9:19Speaker 1: And she shouldn't have said this, and she will never
- 9:21Speaker 1: get it. I never support this again. Man, Get up,
- 9:24Speaker 1: get up and get real. You're for real. You think
- 9:27Speaker 1: you ain't gonna need forgiveness real soon? You ain't gonna
- 9:30Speaker 1: make a diabolical mistake in your life? You don't think
- 9:32Speaker 1: you all? I have thousands of them probably gonna make
- 9:36Speaker 1: a few hundred more for our get up out of here.
- 9:39Speaker 1: So I've decided to be in a forgiving business because
- 9:43Speaker 1: I want God to forgive my trust passes as I
- 9:46Speaker 1: forgive those who trust passed against me. You understand, see
- 9:50Speaker 1: excuse me for being a new Christian. I'm I get
- 9:53Speaker 1: I get tired of talking to picture, to to the
- 9:56Speaker 1: people man supposed to be saved, and talking about their
- 9:58Speaker 1: christian I don't want that type religion. Man. I ain't
- 10:00Speaker 1: in that normal. I ain't in that. You can call
- 10:02Speaker 1: me wrong if you want to saying how you want
- 10:04Speaker 1: to say. I ain't in that normal. I ain't in
- 10:06Speaker 1: all that. You can feel how you want to feel
- 10:08Speaker 1: about me. But I got proof to God work in
- 10:10Speaker 1: my life. You know, I can't hardly get it out
- 10:13Speaker 1: sometimes when people ask me something about deeper on the
- 10:16Speaker 1: inside of me, about my soul and how I used
- 10:18Speaker 1: to being, and my journey and my trip, because people
- 10:20Speaker 1: don't know the trip I've been on. You may have
- 10:22Speaker 1: been on one worse than me, but you know what,
- 10:25Speaker 1: you ain't in a hole too deep God can't get
- 10:27Speaker 1: you out of. And I wish I want I want
- 10:29Speaker 1: people to remember that man, God is a redeemer, He
- 10:33Speaker 1: the Great. I am. So if you ain't got nothing,
- 10:36Speaker 1: now what you're asking for? You know, you might not
- 10:39Speaker 1: have nothing cause you ain't asking for nothing. Qut asking
- 10:42Speaker 1: God to get you out of debt and ask God
- 10:44Speaker 1: for a life of abundance. Then you take the money
- 10:47Speaker 1: and you get out of debt. You keep asking to
- 10:48Speaker 1: get out of debt. You keep being in debt to
- 10:50Speaker 1: get out of Come on, man, what you're asking God? Fault?
- 10:54Speaker 1: I'm just tripping today, that's all. I'm sorry. I apologize.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You're listening. Steve. This is it, ladies and gentlemen. Steve Harvey,
- 11:05Speaker 1: Martin short and full effect, life and living color. Steve
- 11:08Speaker 1: Harvey is the leader, but would be nothing without the crew.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Shirley Strong. Hey, good morning, Steve. How you doing. Colin
- 11:15Speaker 1: for rel is out today? Ain't no problem. Here we go, Junior.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Morning up was heady man? Morning Up? And the food? Yeah, yeah,
- 11:31Speaker 1: I'm sorry him on hump day. Baby, I'm sorry. It's Wednesday, Quirsty,
- 11:38Speaker 1: it's Westy. You see my banks? Yeah? Did they did right? Up?
- 11:43Speaker 1: That man flew up? Yeah, that's you're right, You're right
- 11:51Speaker 1: about that. Okay, guys, So here's the deal. What's happening.
- 11:57Speaker 1: I'm starting to program. You know, I get ain't some
- 12:00Speaker 1: weight on my vacation because I didn't do a damn yeah,
- 12:03Speaker 1: that's what I probably eight eight to ten. I stepped
- 12:09Speaker 1: on the scale. I think it was wrong out then
- 12:11Speaker 1: at two eight. Yeah, so that would mean ten pounds,
- 12:19Speaker 1: but I don't really feel like ten. But I did
- 12:23Speaker 1: button the jacket the other day. That squarely say a ten.
- 12:28Speaker 1: What did you eat? Though? What did you eat? Every
- 12:31Speaker 1: damn thing that the chef cooked on the boat. The
- 12:36Speaker 1: chef cooked so you could get whatever you want it.
- 12:39Speaker 1: If you had a taste for fried chicken or fried
- 12:42Speaker 1: catfish or ice cream, you can get whatever. My wife
- 12:46Speaker 1: and had it making buttermilk, fried chicken and waffles. Hold up,
- 12:52Speaker 1: this is what Margie did. Margie went online. I've taken
- 12:56Speaker 1: you all the normous right for the aunt you French toasted? Yes, sir,
- 13:02Speaker 1: Marjorie pulled up the recipe online, gave it to the shelf.
- 13:05Speaker 1: He made it all the time. Oh man. One thing
- 13:09Speaker 1: about Marjorie, her palate is amazing. Especially you know what
- 13:13Speaker 1: my wife she said, I'm a foodie, she said, I
- 13:21Speaker 1: actually I'm a big girl. She's had four pounds. That's
- 13:25Speaker 1: what she said. I'm a four hundred pound big girl
- 13:29Speaker 1: in hire. The only thing is she ordered like a
- 13:32Speaker 1: big girl, but she don't eat it like she ordered
- 13:35Speaker 1: the big dessert and just get two spoons to go
- 13:37Speaker 1: here eat the rest of his taste so they won't
- 13:39Speaker 1: think I've wasted food. And what the hell is you
- 13:41Speaker 1: on this boat time? I'm wasting food? But you know
- 13:45Speaker 1: that was instilled in all of us from childhood. Let
- 13:49Speaker 1: me tell you what all I did. I bought something
- 13:51Speaker 1: on the vacation and worried while I was on vacation
- 13:56Speaker 1: because I'm locked into that mindset. These your church shoes,
- 14:01Speaker 1: Steve school pain. And so when I buy something new,
- 14:07Speaker 1: I keep it wrapped up till I get home and unwrapping.
- 14:10Speaker 1: My wife said, why don't you wear your the shirt?
- 14:14Speaker 1: You ball? I bought that shirt, she said, But it
- 14:18Speaker 1: go with the payings. Wh aren't you We just bought ship.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Come on, man, all that all that, we got to
- 14:28Speaker 1: take a break right here, and when we come back here,
- 14:31Speaker 1: tell me about them Fried Lemons. I got to hear
- 14:33Speaker 1: about that. Oh yeah, yeah, coming up, we'll talk more
- 14:36Speaker 1: about Steve's vacation and whatever else is in the news
- 14:39Speaker 1: when we come back inside of something funny at thirty
- 14:42Speaker 1: two after the hour you're listening to show. All right, Steve,
- 14:47Speaker 1: we have to talk about this big news. Yesterday, Paul
- 14:51Speaker 1: Manafort was found guilty on eight counts in his fraud child.
- 14:55Speaker 1: The judge in the bank and tax fraud case declared
- 14:58Speaker 1: a mistrial on those remaining ten counts. Um, Paul Manafort
- 15:02Speaker 1: was found Yeah, yeah, yep, yep, tax and bank fraud. Uh.
- 15:08Speaker 1: The trial is going on, of course in Alexandria, Virginia.
- 15:11Speaker 1: The judged did declare, as I mentioned, a mistrial and
- 15:14Speaker 1: the remaining ten counts after the jurors said they couldn't
- 15:17Speaker 1: reach a verdict on those charges. Um. Of course, he's
- 15:21Speaker 1: a former campaign chairman for Donald Trump. It is the
- 15:24Speaker 1: first secured at a trial by UM that trial by
- 15:28Speaker 1: Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team. Manaford is also expected to
- 15:32Speaker 1: stand trial next month on a separate set of federal
- 15:35Speaker 1: charges in Washington. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Five of the guilty
- 15:41Speaker 1: verdicts were for filing false tax documents and the other
- 15:45Speaker 1: three were involved foreign bank account registration and bank fraud.
- 15:49Speaker 1: So he's in a world of trouble. Then you've got
- 15:52Speaker 1: Michael Cohen, former Donald Trump attorney. Uh, he pleaded he
- 15:56Speaker 1: pleaded guilty to campaign finance violations and fraud yesterday. He
- 16:02Speaker 1: could face some prison time as well. But here's the
- 16:05Speaker 1: here's the thing about this one. In a plea deal,
- 16:07Speaker 1: Cohen says he acted in coordination and at the direction
- 16:12Speaker 1: of a candidate for federal office. Now who do you
- 16:15Speaker 1: think that one candidate? Yeah, this has to do with
- 16:18Speaker 1: when he paid Stormy Daniels the money and all of that.
- 16:20Speaker 1: So that would be these guys are in some big trouble.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Here is Donald Trump going to pardon them? That's the question, Steve,
- 16:36Speaker 1: because he has the power. He has the power to
- 16:38Speaker 1: do that as president, but he the person behind all
- 16:41Speaker 1: of it. Yeah, I mean is not yea, we are
- 16:47Speaker 1: in a place of politics that we've never been bed.
- 16:50Speaker 1: This is well, well, I don't know if you could
- 16:52Speaker 1: say that. Can you With Watergate? Water It wasn't this
- 16:57Speaker 1: That was a series of lives about one thing about
- 17:01Speaker 1: breaking into the Democratic headquarters. This ain't a lot about
- 17:06Speaker 1: something who bugged their office. This about every damning off.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Im before he even declared his candidacy, said you cannot
- 17:21Speaker 1: be that guy and it not happened because it happens
- 17:25Speaker 1: on a much smaller lower level. That level up, damn man.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Then the big boys yeah, oh yeah, they run the country.
- 17:34Speaker 1: This this I mean, man, this is crazy. Man. I'm
- 17:37Speaker 1: gonna tell you something. Donald Trump rue the day that
- 17:43Speaker 1: he ran for president, Bro, he want his life back
- 17:46Speaker 1: the way it was because dog, he was doing that thing. Yeah.
- 17:51Speaker 1: I just think he had a different idea of what
- 17:54Speaker 1: it meant to be president. Yeah, he didn't think he'd
- 17:58Speaker 1: be president. Well that that that's one. And then once
- 18:02Speaker 1: you got it, he thought that just he didn't realize
- 18:04Speaker 1: that he works for the people. You have a boss, now,
- 18:07Speaker 1: Donald Trump, you have to answer right exactly. Show he
- 18:10Speaker 1: thought that he was gonna be opening up hotels in
- 18:14Speaker 1: every city right still making money. He thought he'd be
- 18:17Speaker 1: cutting deals and everything. Or his son then was happy
- 18:21Speaker 1: and everything. But he created some enemies. One of the
- 18:25Speaker 1: biggest mistakes he made, and I kid you not, was
- 18:29Speaker 1: creating the term fake news news because you ticked off
- 18:35Speaker 1: an entire journalism community that went, oh we fake news.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Bet this ain't fake And all they got now is
- 18:46Speaker 1: that for him, if he had a came in and
- 18:50Speaker 1: tried to put people together. It would have been a
- 18:53Speaker 1: lot different for him from the people from the left.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Now Obama came in and tried to put people together.
- 19:00Speaker 1: People up the right, they don't can abud they their
- 19:03Speaker 1: mission is to never bring people together. The rights mission
- 19:07Speaker 1: is to set it up for them on the right
- 19:11Speaker 1: because they right and the rest of us is wrong. Wrong. Absolutely.
- 19:18Speaker 1: They never tried to work with President Obama. They just
- 19:21Speaker 1: never gave They was hell bit on not working with
- 19:24Speaker 1: this man. They the only accepted answer, No, Mitch McConnell
- 19:28Speaker 1: only want to get in there for one term, if
- 19:31Speaker 1: you recall that. You know, but now they have a
- 19:34Speaker 1: mess going and you know, it doesn't look so much
- 19:37Speaker 1: like a witch hunt after all. I mean they're coming
- 19:39Speaker 1: at it doesn't. Yeah, and it's saying you know, when
- 19:43Speaker 1: you can believe the prostitutes over the president with a
- 19:46Speaker 1: different time. This is real everything unlike what you just said. Yeah,
- 19:55Speaker 1: what is happening? I trust everything? What is going on?
- 20:00Speaker 1: You know, Look, she told the truth. Both of them
- 20:03Speaker 1: told the truth. Here's a deal. I got Trump trying
- 20:09Speaker 1: to pay him off. Yeah. Yeah, but see here the
- 20:13Speaker 1: part people talking about the campaign violations. He married, he
- 20:18Speaker 1: trying to keep this way from Milania. See y'all keep
- 20:22Speaker 1: talking about the politics. Damn that his wife. Yeah, he's
- 20:27Speaker 1: trying to keep this way from this woman at this
- 20:29Speaker 1: house because he he he is straight hell right now
- 20:34Speaker 1: at all This woman came out and said she'd been
- 20:38Speaker 1: in the house. Yeah. Yeah, ain't no woman cool with that?
- 20:43Speaker 1: You had you had this blank in the house. Yeah,
- 20:48Speaker 1: this blank been in my house. And you're feel in
- 20:51Speaker 1: any words you want to most of them start would
- 20:53Speaker 1: be the other start with h. It's word to put
- 20:56Speaker 1: it in. Yeah. Yeah, that's good point. That's a good point, Steve,
- 21:03Speaker 1: because it is it does get personal at that point.
- 21:06Speaker 1: You know, it does get personally because we don't know
- 21:08Speaker 1: what goes behind goes on behind closed doors. And you
- 21:11Speaker 1: know his wife was upset, just like Hillary Clinton was
- 21:14Speaker 1: upset at Bill Clinton with Monica Lewinski. By that, you know,
- 21:21Speaker 1: he catching yes at the house. You're right, he catching
- 21:25Speaker 1: Hale at the house, Hall at the White House. Can
- 21:31Speaker 1: go all right, Well that's the big breaking news today.
- 21:41Speaker 1: I'm sure MS and will have more on this, and
- 21:43Speaker 1: we'll be back with more. We're gonna run that prank
- 21:45Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 21:49Speaker 1: Show coming up at the top of the hour, and
- 21:53Speaker 1: entertainment news Kevin Hart, maybe boycotted by Trump supporters, will
- 21:58Speaker 1: tell you about that. But right now the net you
- 22:00Speaker 1: was here, the King of Pranks with today's run that
- 22:03Speaker 1: prank back. What you got. It's that time, Sherlett, We're
- 22:05Speaker 1: gonna run this prank black. I got a peak and tree.
- 22:08Speaker 1: That's that peak tree, that's right, peak can tree, running cat. Hello, Hello,
- 22:15Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach uh LC hey, let me let
- 22:20Speaker 1: me Hey. My name is Marcus, uh My, my mama
- 22:23Speaker 1: them a little next dough to you, uh mr and
- 22:26Speaker 1: mrs My mom and daddy little next dough to you.
- 22:28Speaker 1: And I was calling because y'all got a pe country
- 22:32Speaker 1: in y'all backyard, I mean right on the fish line
- 22:35Speaker 1: and to keep you know, pecan and stuff keep falling
- 22:38Speaker 1: over into my mom and them yard. So I'm told
- 22:40Speaker 1: to see if y'all can do something man, where y'all
- 22:44Speaker 1: can pick up I mean, my mama nam got a
- 22:47Speaker 1: little older. You know, we've been picking them up for
- 22:49Speaker 1: a long time. But I need somebody to, like, maybe
- 22:52Speaker 1: you can cut the lions back that's hanging over so
- 22:55Speaker 1: that they won't you know, the pecans won't be falling
- 22:58Speaker 1: over into my mom and them yard because you know,
- 23:00Speaker 1: for them to be bending over like they're picking up
- 23:02Speaker 1: them paca and there's a lot of them. So, you know, Mr,
- 23:05Speaker 1: I just wanted to how let you and see if
- 23:07Speaker 1: you don't mind maybe cutting the limbs back, because even
- 23:10Speaker 1: when we turned the lamo on and stuff, man, it
- 23:12Speaker 1: just you know, the beacons and stuff be coming out
- 23:15Speaker 1: of the lamo just shooting all over the place. Well,
- 23:18Speaker 1: first of all, Mavacom tres Old calm tree. You know
- 23:23Speaker 1: it's about well and I can't see me cutting it.
- 23:27Speaker 1: You can't have nobody to maintain your y'all. But I
- 23:31Speaker 1: mean you your mother, You can maintain your mother's yall.
- 23:35Speaker 1: So I go by my mother's house, you know, every
- 23:38Speaker 1: other day and check on them, But I don't have
- 23:40Speaker 1: time to go on the back and pick up pecans
- 23:43Speaker 1: and stuff. You know what I'm saying. I mean, if
- 23:44Speaker 1: you just it don't seem no more than like maybe
- 23:46Speaker 1: four or five limbs that's hanging over there. But them
- 23:49Speaker 1: four or five limbs, I mean they they there's a
- 23:52Speaker 1: lot of pecans falling off of that. So if you
- 23:55Speaker 1: Mavacon tree to say that I go back there, there's
- 23:59Speaker 1: no kind of nothing back there. Okay, whatever, sir, I'm
- 24:04Speaker 1: not cutting my tree for a little like that. Sir. Listen,

- 24:11Speaker 1: tree down. I just want you to cut a few limbs, sir,
- 24:14Speaker 1: so you know those that way that those are the
- 24:17Speaker 1: ones that are hanging over it won't be you know,
- 24:19Speaker 1: the pecans won't be falling over into my mom's the yard.
- 24:22Speaker 1: And and and you know, like I say, they're older now, man,
- 24:24Speaker 1: they can't be bending over like That's so you know,
- 24:27Speaker 1: I'm I'm just coming to you as a man right
- 24:29Speaker 1: now and asking you when you please cut this down
- 24:32Speaker 1: to these pecans can quit falling over my mom and
- 24:33Speaker 1: them yard. All you can do is someone, okay, someone
- 24:39Speaker 1: I know your mother. Don't cut your yard. You know
- 24:41Speaker 1: it's it's a guy that it's a guy that cuts
- 24:43Speaker 1: the yard. But even when he cutting the yard, these
- 24:46Speaker 1: pecans is flying out from underneath the y'all the law
- 24:49Speaker 1: more they soon, a lady, we're gonna be breaking windows
- 24:51Speaker 1: over there. What kind of low person you have that
- 24:55Speaker 1: don't pick up before they cut? Why am I arguing

- 29:12Speaker 1: small talk of going over with you. Okay, surely there's
- 29:19Speaker 1: a real consideration on my part to start the new
- 29:22Speaker 1: TV show with the beard. Your thoughts. I like it.
- 29:27Speaker 1: You've gotten a lot of positive response from it. You know,
- 29:30Speaker 1: I would like to say this. We haven't seen you
- 29:33Speaker 1: dressed up with it, you know what I mean. I
- 29:34Speaker 1: know you said you're going to change your style and
- 29:36Speaker 1: all of that, so we haven't seen you with the suit.
- 29:39Speaker 1: But I mean, I like it. I think it'll look good.
- 29:42Speaker 1: It makes you look distinguished. Um. You know, change is good.
- 29:46Speaker 1: I always say change is good, and why not start
- 29:48Speaker 1: the new season off with the new U That's my
- 29:51Speaker 1: thought now, not that I care. But Tommy and Junior question, well,
- 29:58Speaker 1: I don't really see nothing wrong with the be I

- 30:12Speaker 1: He didn't want to ask what we've seen it? But
- 30:14Speaker 1: you having like aged it up and got it like
- 30:16Speaker 1: you when you when you would have it for television,
- 30:19Speaker 1: So go ahead and do it, don't alright? Listen? Coming
- 30:24Speaker 1: up next in entertainment news, Shade between Cardi B and
- 30:28Speaker 1: Nicki Minaj plus Kevin Hart maybe banned by Trump supporters,
- 30:31Speaker 1: and a Rod he gets the Boyfriend of the Year
- 30:35Speaker 1: award at the top of the hour. We'll tell you
- 30:37Speaker 1: about it when we come back. Right after this. You're
- 30:39Speaker 1: listening to Steve coming up in twenty minutes. We will
- 30:46Speaker 1: see if Uncle Steve is smarter than his nephew boom.
- 30:50Speaker 1: We're gonna play are you smarter than nephew Tommy? Or
- 30:53Speaker 1: is Uncle Steve really smarter than nephew Tommy? Because yesterday,
- 30:57Speaker 1: if you recall, it was a tie. So it's getting
- 30:59Speaker 1: closed a tie. Yeah, and he was trying to lose.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Steve was trying to get him to win. Any tax
- 31:07Speaker 1: We'll we'll see coming up. But right now we're gonna
- 31:10Speaker 1: try this. I'm gonna let you go first. I've been
- 31:12Speaker 1: going for we know, I'm like going at the same time. Actually,
- 31:15Speaker 1: but if they want to be kind of fun, how
- 31:17Speaker 1: are you guys want to do it all? Right? Uh?
- 31:21Speaker 1: In entertainment News today, Kevin Hart maybe staring at a
- 31:24Speaker 1: Trump supporter boycott. He might be targets like his movies,
- 31:28Speaker 1: maybe a target of a boycott by President Trump supporters.
- 31:31Speaker 1: That is after Kevin took some verbal shots at Trump
- 31:35Speaker 1: during Monday night's MTV v M as Kevin was presenting
- 31:39Speaker 1: with his Night School co stars Tiffany Hattish when he
- 31:41Speaker 1: told the audience that they were allowed to kneel, a
- 31:44Speaker 1: dig at Trump's criticisms of NFL players who kneeled during
- 31:48Speaker 1: the National Anthem to protest police brutality. Take a listen.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Understand that we're live coast to coast right now. I'm
- 31:56Speaker 1: looking at this like his game day people, or do
- 31:58Speaker 1: not worry because at this game, you guys are allowed
- 32:00Speaker 1: to kneel. You can do what happen to hell? You want?
- 32:02Speaker 1: There's no old white man that can stop you? Do it? Kevin?
- 32:09Speaker 1: We love so so the Trump supporters want to boycott
- 32:15Speaker 1: him because of that, Steve, can you imagine it's a
- 32:20Speaker 1: damn joke. Yeah, it was a joke and he's a comedian.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Well now, Trump supporters were all over Twitter after that,
- 32:29Speaker 1: including one who tweeted Kevin Hart the decline starts. Now
- 32:33Speaker 1: it's all downhill from here. What Yeah, because he wrote
- 32:40Speaker 1: a joke about your present in a country that allows
- 32:43Speaker 1: free speech. I don't get it. I do know. So,
- 32:45Speaker 1: ain't no Democrats going to the movie we ain't support
- 32:50Speaker 1: and Independence? Yeah? Exactly. The majority of the Republicans did
- 32:55Speaker 1: not see that. I just want to point that out.
- 33:01Speaker 1: This is crazy. Uh. In other news, entertainment news shout
- 33:05Speaker 1: out to a Rod Okay fans are still buzzing on
- 33:08Speaker 1: social media saying that a Rod is the boyfriend of
- 33:12Speaker 1: the year. We all saw a Rod. He was just
- 33:16Speaker 1: he was just all a glow. When Jennifer Lopez on
- 33:19Speaker 1: Monday Night at the b m AS was you know,
- 33:21Speaker 1: she was performing after her tribute, and he was just
- 33:24Speaker 1: looking like, I'm so in love with you and I
- 33:27Speaker 1: think she's a better person for it. Steve. We've talked
- 33:29Speaker 1: about love earlier, in different levels of it, and yeah,
- 33:34Speaker 1: I saw it was good. It was really good for
- 33:36Speaker 1: both of them. Yeah, I think it's good for both
- 33:38Speaker 1: of them too, because I think they're equally yoked. I
- 33:41Speaker 1: really do. And I don't know anything too much about
- 33:44Speaker 1: them personally. I like both of them personally, even though
- 33:48Speaker 1: you know, I've I've never met a Rod, U been
- 33:53Speaker 1: around him some business talk, but met Jennifer Lopez, talked
- 33:57Speaker 1: with a couple of times. I've just always liked it.
- 34:00Speaker 1: I just think she's a cool person. I think she's
- 34:02Speaker 1: finally gotten it right, and I think he did too.
- 34:05Speaker 1: And from the outside looking in, they look like two
- 34:08Speaker 1: happy people, very happy. It's a shame that social media
- 34:13Speaker 1: is the way it is because they be hate. I
- 34:16Speaker 1: don't care what you do, so you got to ignore that.
- 34:19Speaker 1: I just I think they look happy. Well they I
- 34:21Speaker 1: don't know why we start being happy for people who
- 34:23Speaker 1: all have Well, they got it right this time, Steve.
- 34:26Speaker 1: On social media, they're they're nominating a Roid a Rod
- 34:29Speaker 1: for the Boyfriend of the Year because of how loving
- 34:32Speaker 1: I'm talking about some people. Surely you ain't read all
- 34:35Speaker 1: of them. Somebody that says something I trust if you
- 34:39Speaker 1: think girl, somebody against it. But for the most part
- 34:44Speaker 1: they loved how he was, you know, just ain't playing baseball.
- 34:51Speaker 1: What is he doing there? I go to Steve Harvey
- 34:56Speaker 1: comment had to make more and to get more entertain
- 35:00Speaker 1: him at news. All right, all right, Steve, at this
- 35:02Speaker 1: time we get caught up on today's headlines. Please introduced
- 35:05Speaker 1: Smith and ladies and gentlemen, miss and Tripp. Thank you, Steve.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Good morning everybody out there. This is a trip with
- 35:12Speaker 1: the news. President Trump's former campaign chairman has been convicted
- 35:16Speaker 1: on eight out of eighteen federal charges launched against him.
- 35:20Speaker 1: President Trump calls the verdict unfair. Paul Manifold was found
- 35:23Speaker 1: guilty of filing false income tax returns, bank fraud, and
- 35:27Speaker 1: other things. Manaforts lawyer Kevin Downing says his client is
- 35:31Speaker 1: not exactly a happy camper. Mr Manaford is disappointed of
- 35:36Speaker 1: not getting acquittals all the way through or a complete
- 35:39Speaker 1: hung jury on all accounts. However, when the verdict is
- 35:42Speaker 1: a split like this, it's very very often there's an appeal.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Prosecute has built their case around charges that Manaford had
- 35:48Speaker 1: had hit millions of dollars like around sixty million, by
- 35:51Speaker 1: laundering the money by way of fraudulent bank loans. No
- 35:53Speaker 1: sentencing date has been sent. By the way, this is
- 35:56Speaker 1: just one of Manaforts trials. He faces another trial on
- 36:00Speaker 1: some other charges next month in Washington, d c. Meanwhile,
- 36:04Speaker 1: President Trump's former personal attorney, Michael Cohen played guilty yesterday
- 36:07Speaker 1: to eight federal charges, including five counts of tax evasion,
- 36:11Speaker 1: one count of falsifying paperwork to a bank, to council
- 36:14Speaker 1: making excessive campaign contributions. All of that relate to the
- 36:17Speaker 1: hush money he says he paid out to women who
- 36:19Speaker 1: had affairs with Donald Trump, Even though Deputy U S
- 36:21Speaker 1: Attorney Robert Casimi didn't exactly name names, he worked to
- 36:25Speaker 1: pay money to silence two women who had information that
- 36:29Speaker 1: he believed would be detrimental to the two thousand and
- 36:32Speaker 1: sixteen campaign and to the candidate and the campaign. In addition,
- 36:37Speaker 1: Mr Cohen saught reimbursement UH for that money by submitting
- 36:43Speaker 1: invoices to the candidate's company which were untrue and false.
- 36:49Speaker 1: By the way, President Trump has denied having affairs with
- 36:52Speaker 1: those women. Here we go again, a white woman called
- 36:54Speaker 1: police on a black man in downtown Milwaukee last week,
- 36:57Speaker 1: accusing him of breaking into a car. Was the black
- 37:00Speaker 1: man's CA own car. The victim, name of Corvin Tay Davis,
- 37:04Speaker 1: says he was getting into his car when the lock
- 37:06Speaker 1: jammed on one side of the vehicles, so he prepared
- 37:08Speaker 1: to get into the car by the other side, okay,
- 37:10Speaker 1: by the passenger door, and he heard this white woman shouting,
- 37:13Speaker 1: are you breaking into that car? He videotaped the woman
- 37:15Speaker 1: in the tastes been viewed by at least forty thousand
- 37:17Speaker 1: times so far. Cops came, He verified that it was
- 37:20Speaker 1: his car, and he looked around for the white woman
- 37:22Speaker 1: she had left. Two women in Missouri say they would
- 37:25Speaker 1: deny Johns because the company said they had quote ghetto names.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Dernisia Zachary and Milla Tina Burnette say the firm and
- 37:32Speaker 1: Question actually sent them offensive emails that read and quart quote. Unfortunately,
- 37:36Speaker 1: we do not consider candidates that have suggestive ghetto names.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Good luck, and finally, today is National be an Angel Day.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Here's up Steve Harvey Nation. Find out if Uncle Steve

- 46:59Speaker 1: I'm trying to get married and I wanted to know
- 47:00Speaker 1: what it took to get married at your church. Excuse
- 47:03Speaker 1: a version, quick question. Where'd you get my personal No,
- 47:08Speaker 1: I'm not I don't know where I got to know.
- 47:11Speaker 1: I mean, never mind, we'll deal with it. What's your question? Well,
- 47:14Speaker 1: what I'm what I'm trying to get at is I'm
- 47:16Speaker 1: trying to get Uh, I'm trying to get married. I
- 47:18Speaker 1: really like your church. I've been there several times and
- 47:22Speaker 1: I'm really interested about you know, what will it take
- 47:25Speaker 1: to get married in there? And I really I'm probably
- 47:27Speaker 1: may be calling at the last minute. Man, I want
- 47:29Speaker 1: to get married at the end of February. Well, being
- 47:32Speaker 1: in the hurry, I we'll have to go through counselor first,
- 47:36Speaker 1: maybe four to six weeks and uh we can take
- 47:40Speaker 1: it from there. Uh you have to get a call
- 47:42Speaker 1: back on that. But tell me a little bit about
- 47:46Speaker 1: just a little well, well, what it is that we
- 47:48Speaker 1: would You know, we've been trying to get married for
- 47:49Speaker 1: a long time. We've had a lot of difficulties with
- 47:51Speaker 1: it and never really really found the right church that
- 47:54Speaker 1: we thought would be a good place to get married.
- 47:57Speaker 1: You know, I think it's it's you gotta feel it
- 47:59Speaker 1: in your heart that this is the best place to
- 48:00Speaker 1: get married, you know what I mean. So, uh, you know,
- 48:04Speaker 1: like I said, we've been in your church, uh quite
- 48:06Speaker 1: a few times, maybe about four or five times, and
- 48:09Speaker 1: and we have, you know, both agreed that this would
- 48:11Speaker 1: be the perfect place for us to get married. You
- 48:15Speaker 1: remember at Mount No sir, No, sir, I'm not like
- 48:18Speaker 1: I said, I visited you know, we've visited four or
- 48:20Speaker 1: five times. We really liked it, and we just were
- 48:24Speaker 1: sold on trying to get married at the church. We'll
- 48:26Speaker 1: go through the council four to six weeks once a week,
- 48:29Speaker 1: and uh we can talk about the rest of it
- 48:32Speaker 1: at another time, okay, okay, And after that then you're
- 48:36Speaker 1: saying we'll be prepared to get married. Then I'm would think, so, yeah, yeah,
- 48:42Speaker 1: no problem. How soon were you talking about Well, like
- 48:45Speaker 1: I said, we were trying to do it in the February.
- 48:47Speaker 1: Let me ask you this here now after going through counseling.
- 48:51Speaker 1: But we really have you be the person to actually
- 48:53Speaker 1: perform the ceremony, because that's what I know. That's I know,
- 48:57Speaker 1: that's what I want, because for you to actually just perform,
- 49:01Speaker 1: to proceed. Yes, yes, that's time. Okay, well listen. Uh,
- 49:05Speaker 1: like I said, let me apologize. I don't know I
- 49:08Speaker 1: had your personal number. I do apologize for that. I
- 49:10Speaker 1: do have uh my soon to be spouse on the phone,
- 49:13Speaker 1: and they would like to ask you a couple of
- 49:15Speaker 1: questions too, if that's all right, Yeah, it's okay, it's okay,
- 49:19Speaker 1: I can speak with her, okay. Uh uh Alfred Alfred, Yes, yes, hi, pastor,
- 49:25Speaker 1: how are you doing? Go ahead of alcay? Hey? How pass?
- 49:28Speaker 1: My name is Alfred and uh I wanted to have
- 49:31Speaker 1: a couple of questions myself. I just wanted to know how,
- 49:33Speaker 1: well it's the capacity of your church because we got
- 49:35Speaker 1: quite a few few friends and family members that were
- 49:39Speaker 1: gonna attend. So that was one thing I ain't wanted
- 49:41Speaker 1: to know about. Uh, that's that's that's that sounds good. Well,
- 49:49Speaker 1: that's what that's what we wanted. We wanted to make
- 49:51Speaker 1: sure it was enough enough with our friends and we're
- 49:54Speaker 1: probably gonna invite about three hundred friends, so that should
- 49:57Speaker 1: be fine. Pastor, when can we get when can we
- 50:00Speaker 1: get counselor started? We? Oh? Uh, ad get You're you're
- 50:08Speaker 1: getting married, Alfred. I'm sorry, alfreda's want married, Pastor Alfred,
- 50:13Speaker 1: and I'm trying to get married? Body into where? So?
- 50:16Speaker 1: When can we excuse me? I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I
- 50:19Speaker 1: was talking to Virgil now Virgil. Yeah, Oh, Alfred is
- 50:26Speaker 1: on the phone with me. Alfred is is who I'm
- 50:28Speaker 1: getting married to? So we want to know when can
- 50:31Speaker 1: whote whote? WoT WoT? Excuse so, Pastor winn? When when
- 50:35Speaker 1: can we started calcling church? We? Who? Who is we? Yes?
- 50:41Speaker 1: When when can we start? Excuse me? We we can't Scarred,
- 50:45Speaker 1: no damn counter at my church? Not a steel them
- 50:50Speaker 1: about counseling. You need to come to the Bible study.
- 50:53Speaker 1: What is he talking about? What needs to be the problem?
- 50:56Speaker 1: Excuse me? What seems to be the problem. What is
- 50:59Speaker 1: the problem that we can't married at your church? The
- 51:01Speaker 1: problem is the institute of marriage is between a man
- 51:06Speaker 1: and a woman. God did not put Adam in Eve
- 51:10Speaker 1: to be Adam and Steve. You just said we go
- 51:13Speaker 1: through counseling for four to six weeks. Everything would be fun,
- 51:16Speaker 1: But counseling you're on another level. Now. I don't believe
- 51:21Speaker 1: in same sex marriage, bro, but people are the same
- 51:25Speaker 1: sex are getting married all over the country. So what
- 51:27Speaker 1: seems to be the problem? Pass right and loan if
- 51:32Speaker 1: that matters to me what people are doing around the country.
- 51:35Speaker 1: And now we're speaking bidable. The Bible says that the
- 51:41Speaker 1: institute of marriage is between a man and a woman.
- 51:46Speaker 1: I don't find you tube to do that. I really,
- 51:49Speaker 1: I'm really not a pressiative of the phone call now,
- 51:52Speaker 1: ben't so how long? Excuse me? You know no, I
- 51:56Speaker 1: can't married, but can you can you make an exception?
- 51:59Speaker 1: I can't can exception. But we love each other exactly,
- 52:02Speaker 1: thank you, Alfred. Yes we do. I'm glad you do.
- 52:06Speaker 1: I'm happy for you, but we don't know. We don't
- 52:09Speaker 1: really like that. Bro, You're gonna be ashamed of yourself.
- 52:12Speaker 1: I already absolutely no. I'm not a man and a woman.
- 52:20Speaker 1: My first news the mother and father and key until
- 52:25Speaker 1: his wife. You don't see the problem here. I really
- 52:29Speaker 1: don't have anything else. I really don't have anything else
- 52:32Speaker 1: to say. Okay, but oh you go? Can I say
- 52:34Speaker 1: something else to you? Hey? You man? If we have
- 52:36Speaker 1: you already insulted me. We got your number from Reverend Chapman.
- 52:40Speaker 1: Reverend Chapman, the assistant pass the Reverend Chapman is the
- 52:44Speaker 1: one game is remand Chapman. He gave you my mother.
- 52:51Speaker 1: No no, no, no, no. Man. I I really don't
- 52:55Speaker 1: have much more time. I need to talk to chat Okay, okay, okay.
- 52:57Speaker 1: But Reverend Chapman said, you wouldn't have a problem carrying up.
- 53:01Speaker 1: Reverend Chapman said, I wouldn't have a problem. Reverend Chatman
- 53:05Speaker 1: said I wouldn't have a problem marrying you. I really
- 53:09Speaker 1: don't have a stand for you. Okay, Well, let me
- 53:11Speaker 1: go ahead and say this pastor, I just don't know

- 55:53Speaker 1: You have a new attitude, But do you wear it
- 55:55Speaker 1: all the time? When you just put it on here?

- 56:01Speaker 1: Take two? Take to coming right off. Chah, let's go
- 56:14Speaker 1: and hold on tight. We got it for you here.
- 56:16Speaker 1: It is a strawberry letter. Thank you nephew. Subject, how
- 56:19Speaker 1: well do you know your neighbors? Dear Stephen Shirley. I've
- 56:23Speaker 1: been married to a wonderful man for almost thirty years.
- 56:27Speaker 1: He's an excellent father and provider. But over the years
- 56:31Speaker 1: I have spent a lot of time alone in my marriage.
- 56:34Speaker 1: At one point I was very lonely. There was a
- 56:38Speaker 1: lot of love and kindness, but no passion. A neighbor
- 56:41Speaker 1: and I would talk occasionally, and he picked up on
- 56:44Speaker 1: my extreme loneliness and saw that I was vulnerable. He
- 56:47Speaker 1: used it to his advantage and we ended up having sex.
- 56:52Speaker 1: I'm not placing all of the blame on my neighbor,
- 56:55Speaker 1: because I am a grown woman and I knew better.
- 56:58Speaker 1: Loneliness was no used to step out on my marriage.
- 57:02Speaker 1: My neighbor and I had our little fling for two months,
- 57:05Speaker 1: and then he started avoiding me. I was glad it
- 57:08Speaker 1: was over and I put it behind me. Well. Now,
- 57:11Speaker 1: a year later, my neighbor has started contacting me again
- 57:14Speaker 1: for sex. I told him that I'm no longer in
- 57:17Speaker 1: that dark place in my marriage and I'm not interested
- 57:20Speaker 1: in cheating on my husband. He told me that he
- 57:23Speaker 1: would not take no for an answer. He has been quiet, Tommy.
- 57:29Speaker 1: He has been continually texting me and calling my cell phone.
- 57:33Speaker 1: After I had ignored him for a few days, he
- 57:35Speaker 1: got desperate and threatened to send pictures to my husband.
- 57:39Speaker 1: He said he has pictures of me naked and pictures
- 57:41Speaker 1: of us having sex. He said he will text these
- 57:44Speaker 1: pictures to my husband if I keep refusing to have
- 57:48Speaker 1: sex with him. I don't know what to do. I
- 57:52Speaker 1: had no idea that he took pictures of me. He
- 57:55Speaker 1: may just be bluffing, but I can't take that risk.
- 57:58Speaker 1: He disgust me and don't want him to touch me ever. Again,
- 58:02Speaker 1: I'm really afraid of this man. Now what should I do? Yeah,
- 58:07Speaker 1: this is really serious. You don't have a whole lot
- 58:09Speaker 1: of options here because you know, first of all, definitely
- 58:14Speaker 1: don't do this. Don't give in to him. Okay, don't
- 58:17Speaker 1: give into his whole blackmail thing. Don't do that. He
- 58:20Speaker 1: discussed you, He discussed me too. Um My instincts say
- 58:24Speaker 1: though about the pictures and about him texting them to
- 58:28Speaker 1: your husband, that he could be bluffing, because why did
- 58:31Speaker 1: he wait so long to bring them out? You know,
- 58:34Speaker 1: there's a lot that you left out of the letter, um,
- 58:38Speaker 1: that you didn't tell us. But the question then becomes,
- 58:41Speaker 1: is that a chance you're willing to take to Paul
- 58:43Speaker 1: his bluff? It's just so strange that you left the
- 58:47Speaker 1: part of the letter out about a whole year going
- 58:50Speaker 1: by and you guys having no contact and your neighbors.
- 58:53Speaker 1: You know, he was avoiding you at first, So I
- 58:56Speaker 1: mean that that's just interesting. It's rather odd. I mean
- 58:59Speaker 1: you I had no contact, no side eye when you
- 59:02Speaker 1: came out of the house and he came out of
- 59:03Speaker 1: the house at the same time. No glances exchanged, no
- 59:06Speaker 1: words exchange, no texting within a whole year. It's just odd.
- 59:11Speaker 1: I mean, you know I have to tell you that.
- 59:13Speaker 1: I think I don't know. I might have to just
- 59:17Speaker 1: write this one out and definitely not tell my husband
- 59:20Speaker 1: until you absolutely have to or not. Other than that,
- 59:24Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell you to do besides
- 59:26Speaker 1: move or something. Steve, you ain't got to move. You
- 59:31Speaker 1: ain't got to move, She hold on, let me go
- 59:35Speaker 1: through the letter, but let me this might not even
- 59:37Speaker 1: take the whole damn break. Okay. I spent a lot
- 59:40Speaker 1: of time my loan, my marriage. At one point I
- 59:43Speaker 1: was lonely. Love and kindness but no passion. Neighbor I talked.
- 59:48Speaker 1: He picked up on my extreme loneliness, and he saw
- 59:51Speaker 1: that I was vulnerable. He used it to his advantage
- 59:53Speaker 1: and we ended up having sex. He you, you told
- 59:57Speaker 1: him this for a reason. You add this for a reason.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: You you like you said, yo letter, You've grown. I'm
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: not placing all the blame on my neighbor because I'm
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: grown woman and I knew better. Yeah, okay, so take
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: that part out your damn letter. You just have sex
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: with the man because you wanted to. He didn't take
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: advantage of nothing. You told him you was lonely, you
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: liked the attention you was getting. He was looking at
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: you with passion, and you like that look in his eye.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: So now y'all had sex. Okay, done, Okay, Loneliness was
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: no excuse step out of my marriage. My neighbor and

- 1:00:40Speaker 1: He started avoiding you? Why because someone found out? Now,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: it's two reasons he started avoiding you. One somebody found out,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: or it wasn't good no more. Them the two reasons.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Somebody found out or it wasn't good no more. You
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: avoid a person to not be in that situation, to
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: stop any doubt or questions or anything. Or either it
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: just wasn't good. I don't think it wasn't it wasn't good. Part.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: I think somebody was getting close because he your neighbor
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: who he lived with, Uh see where his wife where
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: his significant other? Because he got one, So either the
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: wife or a significant other was questioning him. I was
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: glad it's went over and I put it behind me.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: Were Now a year later, my neighbor has started contacting

- 1:06:26Speaker 1: Now he can blur his face out if he won't,
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: to think that'll be slick. But just say it was

- 1:07:04Speaker 1: almost got busted. His significant others suspected something. He didn't
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: got that cleared up right now, So now he think
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: it's cool. So now he ready to come on back
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: in all his significant other than down there. I'm more
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: talking about why are you always looking at her? Why

- 1:08:11Speaker 1: I'll tell you what type of man he is already.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: But people do that though they do, don't get these
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: pictures and say something like, oh my god, what is this.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: Nobody's going to say that. They take those pictures, they
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: plaster them all over people's car win shields. But yeah,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: at their job. Put him up on you know, the posts,

- 1:09:50Speaker 1: thirty pm Eastern time this coming Thursday. I'm back. Thank
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: you all right? Coming up? Uh, did Steve give Junior
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: in Joy Anthony Brown a promotion? They have new offices.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: Did you guys hear about at the Steve Harvey Talk Show. Yeah,
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: we'll talk about that when we come back. You're listening
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Show. A study has just proved
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: what we've suspected all along. Office workers are only productive
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: for three days a week. That's right, we usually go
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: to work for five days, Steve, you work nine days
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: a week. But um, that's a new study. Office workers
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: are only productive for three days a week, and productivity
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: levels sink to just two and a half days at
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: hot weather. This is according to new research of poor
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: night's sleep is the biggest cause of an unproductive day,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: followed by being too hot in the office and being
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: surrounded by distracting colleagues, boredom, personal issues or two or
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: I love this one. You're just playing out too drunk
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: to work a right, right, Okay, Okay, I don't know
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: what we do. You play the best drunk guy right, exactly. Alright.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: So on a typical working day, Steve, fifteen minutes are
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: spent U spent gossiping to colleagues. Check, alright, fourteen minutes
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: and you're always involved always social media and computer. Okay,
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: let's see. Fourteen minutes are spent looking at not no
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: work related content on the web. In eight minutes are
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: spent making teas and coffee for coworkers. So there's your
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: answer time, alright, he does, he does, so, Steve, Um,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: let's talk about what's going on now. You know we
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: talked about this a little bit yesterday, Jay and Junior
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: both have their new offices at the Steve Harvey Studio
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: for up show. Steve, Uh huh did you know that already?
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: He didn't tell you know, he told me that he
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: wanted to surprise you, Junior. It worked, It clearly worked.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: Did you know Junior was going to have an office warming, Steve,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: he's already warming people have housewarming. You got to come back.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: I have an office woman. What what? No, it's like
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: a housewarman, where people keep to keep talking about getting right.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Is that the same thing as oh, crazy man? No? No,
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: I just asked you to come by my office and
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: just bring something from your office that you can put
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: in mind because you want to check your your office.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: He wants to decorated. I never had one void. I
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: ain't never had off I ain't got nothing fit in
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: that little so everybody by that. Yeah, just like you
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: do when you have a house Yeah. Black men don't
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: do that. Okay, well that black man, they ain't never
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: had one. He didn't know the root didn't. Black dudes
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: don't do housewarm and gifts with other black dudes. We
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: might come over. We ain't bringing it down. I don't worry.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: We'll bring you some gifts and you post to have
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: some drinks. Your damn almost over here, and you ain't
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: got it. He ain't got enough. Are you going to
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: have everyone in at the same time, or we're gonna
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: do shifts? No, I'm reading about it. Do whoever come back?
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: If it's a lot in there's just a lot in there.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Everybody can't fit it in about three people's that's he
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: put the desk. But you know what, though, I find
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: the good in it, cause I ain't never had one.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: Now I got one. Now I'll tell you what. Why
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: are you staying outside there because I'm in? Well, what
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: do you want us to bring? Okay, seriously, I need
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: pictures in here, y'all, pictures of pictures of us. Yes,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: I have pictures of y'all. Okay, Monica. I need as
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: much coffee as you can find. I like to have
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: my my office like a little model of his officer,
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: like a little model like something like if I couldet
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: like he gotta be it, I'd like to get a
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: beat in it. He had a professional designer, interior designer,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: decorator to his office, Junior. But if you're gonna need
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: a little model of mouth. You're gonna need a bobby down.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: He had a whole massade room in Chicago. He had
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: a room where he could go smoke cigars. He had
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: an exercise room. Now then he can go out side
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: and barbecue. Do you have like a patio in your office, junior?
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: I mean outside of your I gotta go outside. I
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: really got to go outside. At least you can go out.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: So you have a regular office with a window and everything.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: And who got a window? You can't see what? You
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: don't know what? I got the wind to see somebody
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: walked back. Got that wind at your door? Yeah? On
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: the door. I ain't got no windows because the guy side.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: Oh no, he will bless me like that. Steve gonna
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: give me an office, But I ain't earned that pot.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: But absolutely so office this this season? Window next season? Hopefully?
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: Oh yeah, hopefully. Is that a fair deal? On what

- 1:16:48Speaker 1: your office was so tiny. It was like a closet.

- 1:19:18Speaker 1: of reach. That's what they mean by Naked. You know,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: that's what they mean. No word on what it will premiere.
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: I knew you'd like that title though, Tommy. Yeah, congratulations, Yes, Nick,
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: with Niss and names, I'm going in actually beating before
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: your program, Steve. I mean, you know, why don't you
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: wait at least till after your program? Yeah? I got
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: to Okay, I go out there, Nick and n that's
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: gonna go viral. What you're from start doing? Man? Yeah,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: tell us about what you know? Man. I met Marco
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: Borges and um I had him on my show when Chicago,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: but I didn't do nothing with it. And now I
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: was talking to June Ambrose, a friend of Marjorie's who's
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: a vegan and she's also Jay's uh stylish, really really
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: really cool girl. Had a chance to spend a lot
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: of time with her, talking with her and her husband
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: over there. Now she was just talking about being a
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: vegan and everything. And you know, I'm not gonna be
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: a vegan, but I'm I'm gonna. I'm gonna, I'm gonna
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: give it a shot for this two day program. I
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: may extend it, but I'm gonna really give my system
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: a breaking, really really give him up. Put to enough
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: greens in my body. And I've already started. And I
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: was gonna wait till I came from the d R
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: and do it, uh September, but I just went on
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: to say, now I'm just gonna go on it, yeah,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: because I mean, I'm not that good at waiting and delaying.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: So I've already started. This is my um my started
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: my journey this morning. So what did that tell? What
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: did you do? Just just plant base? Uh, I'm only
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: eating stuff that comes out to ground right now. And
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: you know I'm not gonna say vegan the rest of
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: my life because I'm probably not gonna do that, But
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: I am going to give my system a great reboot
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: and start things over again. And you know, I got
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: some unwanted pounds I want to lose, and um, I'm
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: gonna share the ride with y'all on my TV show
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: as I got I wouldn't did this uh scan, what's
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: the name of that scan? Yeah? I did this body
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: scan and this part of the program and J and
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: B did it and use damn big as me z
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: and yeah, and you know I did not as big
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: as me, either one of them or both of that
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: yellow him that big. But you know, you know when
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: you get the scan and they tell you what percentage
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: of your body is fat, and you get this scan
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: and you can see what your muscles is, your fat is,
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: and your bony is. Yeah, I got a nice amount
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: of muscle, but who I got some fat on my hands.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: I didn't know that was fat. So I got fat
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: behind my stomach muscles. No no fish either though, No,
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: just plant based for one. Nothing. But you know what,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: it's not that difficult people. You know, I can't do
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: that for no twenty one days. Yes you can, but
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: right well, I don't have it, have him yet, but
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: her will that help? You know, Margee and I we're
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: doing it together, which is making it easy. And she said, baby,
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: our help because best cool with a teammate because I'll
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: be sitting up there eating health and my girl would
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: have smothered poke chops with gravy. And that's salad just
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: ain't gonna look because it never did, you get. It
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: reminds me of Over the weekend, Steve, I was watching
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: some of the coverage from Aretha Franklin and she was
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: talking about her battles with weight and everything, and she
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: was saying, one of the problems was Aretha Franklin the
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: Queen of soul anyway you know she was talking about.
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: This was an interview she had done, of course, earlier
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: on in her career when she was struggling with her weight,
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: and the interviewer, I think was Ed Bradley. He was
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: asking her, um, you know, about her weight and everything,
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: and she was saying that after a big performance, she said,
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: I'm sorry, a carrot just isn't gonna do. And that's
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: what it reminded me of when you said a salad
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: doesn't look good when Marjorie's sitting there eating smothered pork shops.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: But Aretha said she needed a meal. You know, she
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: needed a substantial meal. She burned a lot of energy. Well,
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: you know, but we also can't become slaves to our
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: tone if we were to get healthy, And so I
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: just decided to stay away from anything processed and meet
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: for a while. You know, I'm never gonna stop barbecuing
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: and stuff like that, but for right now though, I'm
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: in a good place. And when I go back to
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: TV on the third, I'm gonna do the program and
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: let everybody follow along. But you'll be able to follow
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: me on Steve Harvey dot com as I do this journey,
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: and if you want to join in, I'll show you
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: how to do it very very inexpensive way to really
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: really get healthy. You know, I'm getting older, man, I
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: just won't get healthy. And I got some goals. I'm
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: not gonna share that with time because of you. Uh well,
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: we have to go anyway. When we come back, we're
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: gonna find out what is going on with Alma Rosa
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: and CNN. We'll find out when we come back. Right
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to Steve Show. All Right, Stevell,
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: you talked about Alma Rossa yesterday as a possible guest
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: here on this show. I said I wasn't gonna he's
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: he asked us. Yeah, don't don't drag me in this mess. Well,
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: you you brought it up. What are you talking about?
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: You probably asked you a question. Yeah, Well that's all
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: I said. I didn't say I'm gonna have on the show.
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: I said, possible guests. Did you hear I'm not letting
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: They're not doing this to me no day. Why you
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: gotta fight it to the nail? You everything? You putting
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: me up down? No Modo asked me about nothing. I
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: don't give a damn where you stay. Well, anyway, according
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: to page six, it looks like almar Rossa might be
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: banned from CNN. While she's been all over MSNBC talking
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: about her book promoting her book Unhinged, she hasn't been
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: able to get a bite from CNN, and Insider said
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: Don Lemon was offered one of the first cable interviews
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: he passed on it um. Almar Rossa was scheduled to
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: do Jake Tapper State of the Union, but CNN canceled
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: that appearance and CNN has no comment. They just have
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: no I don't knowbody won't eat well anyway, So it
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: comes bitter Shirley. She always be bitter, seeming like CNN. Well,
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: I I don't know if it's if I would call
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: it bitter, Tommy, but she does seem to be on
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: the defensive. She thinks, I think you know that people
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: are coming for her because of what she did and
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: who she was associated with, and it's still associated with
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: even though you know she's turned, she's she's turned a
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: new leaf, so to speak. She was a racist. He
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: was a racist after she left. Now she didn't know
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: that when she was over that. Well. Yeah, so those
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: are some of the questions we could ask if she
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: was she was had a job, Yeah, absolutely, he didn't
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: become a racist till after she lost her job. Yeah.
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: But you know that you ain't heard about this book,
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: will no way? I said on these charts. Yeah, I
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: tried to find it. I tried to find you know
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: where her book was on the New York Times bestseller
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: list on all of that. Did you look at the list?
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: Yeah it didn't, it didn't come up, Tommy out Ye, yes,
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: it's been out for a week, Today makes a week
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: or yesterday made a week? I should say Tuesday made
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: a week? Book? Is it that Bs and Noble? But
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: on Amazon it's number fifteen, So there you go. Anyway,
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: come out a little stronger than that. So we don't
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: know what's going on with CNN. They've made no comment,
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: no comment. She should have put it on it fly
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: one more thing, But Tommy, get your resume together, because
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: if there's ever a movie made about Armor Rossa, you
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: never know he's gonna there might be a part for you.
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: There might be a part for you. But Devicka Fox
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: says she won't be playing onmar Rosa. Uh. She was
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: asked about it, Vivica A. Fox was She almost choked
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: when when they asked her, she said, of course. The
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: only way a biopic would be made is if unhinged cells. Well, uh,
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: and so far we can't find it, you know, on
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: any of the charts. We mentioned that because we did
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: look um if not. Vivicka says that Alma Rosa is
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: going to have to ride up into the sunset on
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: a donkey because she's attached herself to an A S S.
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: Can can I'm answer me? Can em come back? To
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: the black community. So what can Emma Rossa come back
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: and be accepted by the black community. That's a question. Yeah,
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: I don't nobody in my family. I can't speak for
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: other black fami, but this one over here, well, you know,
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: we're very forgiving. We're very forgiving people. Race still can't
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: come over. We'll be back with more than Steve Harvey
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: Boarding show right after you're listening to Steve Show. All right,
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: Junior and Tommy, this story is for you guys. Um,
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: some college kids, Um, they were kind of broke. You know,
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: they're in college, so they don't have a lot of money.
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: Of course they may have hit the motherload. Though. Police
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: and Georgia are looking for the thieves who stole a
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: trailer filled with nine eight thousand dollars worth of Ramen noodles.
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: They're gonna be slang on them, yeah. The Fayette County
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: Sheriff's office says it was parked and left at a
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: gas station for about a week and when the driver returned,
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: the trailer and the noodles were gone. Thousand dollars worth
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: of Ramen noodles. Wow, that's a lot of money and
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: a lot of trailer. Paul for week. So someone did
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: the mass Steve and it was three hundred and twenty
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: five thousand packages of Ramen noodles. I got that chicken flight,
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: got that chicken flight? Who looking for that chicken in
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: must room? Hey? Hey, now trust me, I'm slanging medles
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: on the yard. Don't be hard to find who stole that?
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: It's nothing. How do you say that hed got molding?
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: Four packages of that stolen? That stuff was good and school.
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: I ain't gonna lie, But how can you tell the
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: stolen ones from the people who already had Raymond rama noodles?
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: You got me because somebody's gonna be selling ten packs
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: for a dollar special on them. But isn't it how
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: that's how much you costing the stories? We don't know?
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: Packs four dollars? Glad asking me and that two or
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: three dollars? You're gonna make money if you stole them? Ship? Okay,
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: well that's the point, right, there's the prophet. Yeah, you
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: ain't never had none? Yes, I've had Rama noodles before?
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: Were Tommy? You have? Yes? So you have Hamburger hip, Yes,
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: I've had Hamburger helper, what do you truy? Yes, I've
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: had keep on my hand over him. Whatever? Why are
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: you asking me? Ask your uncle handsome hamburger? Okay't you
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: handsom hamburger him? He didn't fed me hamburger helper growing up. Hell? No,
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: damn well, he Steven, Why are you so quiet? He's
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: asking you a question I'm allergic to having pold discussion.
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: Oh you can't eat hamburger helper, no moment. But wait,
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: you noticed I only said Junior and Tommy. You noticed
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: that right nowhere. I've had so much of that I
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: refrained from talking about. Don't ask me nothing about that.
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: Don't ask me nothing about no damn spam. Don't ask
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: me nothing about Vienna sausages. I don't want to hear
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: nothing about that big long roll or bologne with that
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: red rap only. Oh that was good, especially with your
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: fried boy. I don't want to hear nothing about no
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: damn powdered mills, government cheese, none of that, huss Steve
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: a good grilled cheese. And it's the best nachos too.
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: Sure when you melt that down, whoa, you got yourself something. Wow?
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: He don't forgot where he came from. Now, he don't
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: remember eating hamburger him. All right, listen we'll be back
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: to close out the show. One more break. Steve's rich
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: as eating fried lemons. Now you don't know he don't
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: he came. Yeah, he had that in pairs. He told
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: us about it. We'll be back to close after show.
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: Regular you don't know where to get and Steve's closing
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: remarks coming up at forty nine after the hour you're
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, we are back.
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: It is time to close out the show, our last
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: break of the day. You have some closing remarks for us.
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: I want to talk about something Tommy sent me the
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: other day, and Uh, it caused me to think about
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: how some people get stuck in their life. And I
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: want to say to everybody, you don't have to stay stuck.
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: You don't have to allow a situation, uh, to be
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: so daunting that you can't see moving beyond, because you
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: have to. You have to move beyond things in life.
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: I was having a conversation with somebody and I was
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: telling them that it's imperative that you understand the things
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: that you cannot change. Uh, there's a scripture that tells
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: that so eloquently. Of course I don't know it. I
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: tell you where it is as often as the case
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: with me. But I do have it in my heart
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: and I do understand it. But there are there's a
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: scripture that talks about moving on and and and being
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: in a position of accepting the things you cannot change.
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: And you know if if if prayer doesn't change a
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: thing or will not change a thing, even though we
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: all know prayer changes things. It's some things that you
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: don't even have to pray for because God told us
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: he wouldn't change it. For example, time and tide weights
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: on no man. Well that's he told you that. So
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: ain't no need of a group of y'all getting together
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: holding hands, telling my Lord stop the clock at eleven
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: o'clock so we can finish this task in your name heavily, Father,
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: Now stop, he said, Time and tide waits on no man.
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: So the things that prayer ain't gonna change because he
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: told us some things won't won't change like that, you
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: got to accept and move on and accepting the things
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: that happened in your life are a big part of it.
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: You get stuck when you lose the ability to move on,
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: and staying stuck don't help you at all. And I'll
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: give you an example. What he sent me was this.
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: He said, This plaque says, stop looking for happiness in
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: the same place that you lost it. It has moved on.
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: You know, happiness moves on every relationship. Don't stay a
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: healthy relationship. Every situation you in that was happy at
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: one time, it can turn sad. You're gonna keep looking
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: for happiness in the same place that you lost it.
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: You have got to move on. And I'm feeling side
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: for yourself. You're not the first person somebody that left.
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: You ain't the first person that the lost somebody you love.
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: You're not the first person who someone has disappointed. You're
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: not the first person being cheated on. You're not the
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: first person who has lost faith in another person. You
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: ain't the first person been lied to. You're not You're
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: not the only one I got that things in life
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: are hurt for We've all been hurt before. I think
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: I don't know a person that ain't been hurt. I
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: don't think I know a person ain't been disappointed. I
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: don't know anybody ain't self of a setback. I don't
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: know anyone who hasn't found something difficult to get over,
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: including myself. But I tell you right now, like the
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: plaque say, you can stop looking for happiness in the
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: same place you lost it. Sometimes it's gone. He ain't
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: the one for you, but you want him back. He
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: wasn't good for you when you had him, but I
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: want him back. Why would you want back something that
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: wasn't good for you in the first place? Man, Can
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: we move on? Give God a chance to put something
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: real in your life by stop wanting something that wasn't
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: good in your life. Stop? Man, some people don't even
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: know how to accept a blessing. We block more blessings
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: wanting something that ain't good or write for us, stopping
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: something that would be good for us. Stop when we're
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: gonna get that through our heads. You know how many
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: times I've had to learn this lesson. Stop, Stop wanting
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: something that ain't good for you. Stop wanting something back
