- 0:15Speaker 1: A million bus busy.
- 0:24Speaker 4: Listening to me. I don't joy joy you know you.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Love turn.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Turn I came.
- 1:41Speaker 1: To turn the mouth, to turn.
- 1:43Speaker 3: The probably got to turn the mouth, turn out to
- 1:46Speaker 3: turn the water the money up, come.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Come out, you.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Think, Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're
- 2:05Speaker 2: listening to the voice, Come on dig me now, one
- 2:08Speaker 2: and all that Steve Harvey Man oh Man got a
- 2:11Speaker 2: radio show, yep. Trying to make it work too. I'm
- 2:14Speaker 2: not trying.
- 2:15Speaker 6: I'm getting it. I'm getting it done to the best
- 2:20Speaker 6: of my abilities. Now, something funny my father taught me.
- 2:25Speaker 6: He says, son, when you've done all you can do,
- 2:29Speaker 6: if you've done your absolute best and you look up
- 2:34Speaker 6: and it didn't get the job done, take a deep
- 2:38Speaker 6: breath and do some more. That used to bug me, man,
- 2:44Speaker 6: when my father used to tell me that is the son,
- 2:46Speaker 6: when you've done your absolute best and you think you
- 2:49Speaker 6: can't do no more. You've done all you can and
- 2:54Speaker 6: it still don't get the job done. Take yourself a
- 2:57Speaker 6: deep breath and do some more, and you know what
- 3:03Speaker 6: I found that has worked every single time, every single time,
- 3:11Speaker 6: because what my father knew was that what you think
- 3:16Speaker 6: is your breaking point or what you think is your
- 3:19Speaker 6: all in all, he says, son, it's just something about it. Man,
- 3:24Speaker 6: if you just gather yourself, you got a little bit more.
- 3:29Speaker 6: Everybody got some more. And you know, I gotta be
- 3:35Speaker 6: honest with you. It has worked. It has helped me greatly,
- 3:39Speaker 6: and you know it. Everybody does have some more.
- 3:43Speaker 7: You know.
- 3:44Speaker 6: I tell that to my sons all the time. Dad,
- 3:46Speaker 6: I did my best. Well, let mess you something else.
- 3:49Speaker 6: Could you have done anything else? Could you have studied
- 3:52Speaker 6: a little harder, Could you have shown up a little
- 3:54Speaker 6: bit earlier, could you stayed a little bit later? Yeah,
- 4:00Speaker 6: well then okay, that's what you should have done. Then see,
- 4:04Speaker 6: there's always a way. But if you're going to create excuses,
- 4:08Speaker 6: if you're gonna make them up all the time about
- 4:11Speaker 6: why you don't get it done, I have a very,
- 4:13Speaker 6: very sad a statement for you right now. You're never
- 4:19Speaker 6: gonna get anything done. You're never gonna get to the top.
- 4:22Speaker 6: Not to the top. You can get halfway up. Now,
- 4:26Speaker 6: you can get a third of the whey up, you
- 4:27Speaker 6: can get three quarters of the whey up. But if
- 4:30Speaker 6: you don't have that little extra reserve in you, you're
- 4:34Speaker 6: not getting to the top. The top is only reserved
- 4:38Speaker 6: for those that have the wherewithal and the power to desire,
- 4:44Speaker 6: the drive and the gut riching effort to get to
- 4:50Speaker 6: the top. The top is reserved only for the top.
- 4:53Speaker 2: It's just the top. There ain't but one top. Then
- 4:55Speaker 2: the middle done, ain't it?
- 4:57Speaker 4: You know?
- 4:57Speaker 2: The top, the top of the mountain halfway is.
- 5:00Speaker 6: A different view. At the top, things look different from
- 5:04Speaker 6: up top. So if you want to get to the
- 5:06Speaker 6: top of whatever your profession, your field, your career, whatever
- 5:13Speaker 6: it is, you got to do extra.
- 5:17Speaker 2: You have to do more. More is expected of you. More,
- 5:21Speaker 2: but he is what's really crazy. More is required of you.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Don't live your life in a laxadaisical state. Don't wake up.
- 5:31Speaker 6: Every day with the feeling of, well, you know, whatever
- 5:34Speaker 6: happens happens. Na man have a say so in your life.
- 5:39Speaker 4: You.
- 5:39Speaker 2: First of all, let me ask you something. Who has God?
- 5:44Speaker 2: Name the person? How that God has given authority over you?
- 5:49Speaker 6: Name the person? But who is the person? Nobody has
- 5:53Speaker 6: domain over you. God didn't create that person. So what
- 5:57Speaker 6: you're sitting here for man, what do you say, sitting
- 6:00Speaker 6: here for letting people who do not know direct your path?
- 6:06Speaker 6: Why are you worried about all these people with what
- 6:09Speaker 6: they got to say about you and all these people
- 6:11Speaker 6: with what they got to think about you? When here's
- 6:14Speaker 6: the news flash, they don't know either. All these people
- 6:19Speaker 6: that you overly concerned about, all these people that you
- 6:24Speaker 6: go into these answers for, they need answers to.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Stop. What are you doing here? Gather yourself for a minute.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Here is a solution to all of that.
- 6:36Speaker 6: You have one source that will be there for you
- 6:40Speaker 6: to the end of time, and that is your relationship
- 6:44Speaker 6: with God. That is the one thing that's solid and
- 6:47Speaker 6: for show. He's behind the wall. He's in your jail cell.
- 6:52Speaker 6: He rides with you in the police car. He's with
- 6:55Speaker 6: you on your job up at the school. He's down
- 6:58Speaker 6: there in the board meetings with you. He goes with
- 7:00Speaker 6: you when you travel on planes. He says with you
- 7:03Speaker 6: when you're in a relationship. He helps you with your
- 7:06Speaker 6: parenting skills. He helps you. He's there to assist you.
- 7:10Speaker 6: He show if you do the right things, he show
- 7:12Speaker 6: you and guide you to your next job. When you
- 7:15Speaker 6: lose your job and you think it's a rap. There's
- 7:18Speaker 6: some good behind him. Man, God is always working on
- 7:21Speaker 6: your behalf. To those that believe, you, just gotta believe.
- 7:24Speaker 6: He don't ask you for nothing else.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Believe in me. That's all He asks you to do.
- 7:29Speaker 2: What you're tripping for.
- 7:30Speaker 6: Man, And then when you make the decision to believe
- 7:33Speaker 6: in him, and it comes out your mouth from time
- 7:37Speaker 6: to time somewhere what you're worried about, what people say,
- 7:40Speaker 6: What you're worried about, what they think for?
- 7:42Speaker 2: Why who are they?
- 7:43Speaker 6: They need God to you telling them you found something
- 7:47Speaker 6: new that you're gonna give this a shot right here now.
- 7:49Speaker 6: They got some yang yin yang and some yackety yakh
- 7:52Speaker 6: to say about that when they need God too. That's
- 7:55Speaker 6: what amazes me, man about people sit up in here, man,
- 7:59Speaker 6: be knocking your eve and stuff. Look, if you're an atheist, man,
- 8:02Speaker 6: do your thing, do your thing. But you can't create
- 8:05Speaker 6: no laws. Why I can't do mine? That don't make
- 8:08Speaker 6: no sense, Man, that makes no sense at all to me.
- 8:12Speaker 6: You have the right to go be whatever you want
- 8:14Speaker 6: to be. You know, if you don't you don't like
- 8:17Speaker 6: the fact that I'm in school, got my head bowed down,
- 8:20Speaker 6: and I'm saying a prayer for I take this test.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Just don't buy your head.
- 8:23Speaker 6: Don't you pray. But if some kids want to get together,
- 8:27Speaker 6: that's some crazy mess. That's what happened in our schools.
- 8:29Speaker 6: We took prayer out of schools. Now look at our schools.
- 8:33Speaker 6: You send your child to school and someone else comes
- 8:37Speaker 6: back home. That's a whole nother thing right here. That's
- 8:41Speaker 6: not what I want to talk to you about. But
- 8:43Speaker 6: I was just throwing it out because you know, hey, man,
- 8:46Speaker 6: your relationship with God is essential to your success as
- 8:49Speaker 6: a person. It's essential to your existence. It's essential to
- 8:53Speaker 6: where you're trying to go and what you're trying to be.
- 8:56Speaker 6: Because He made you. Why would you not talk to
- 8:59Speaker 6: the person that made you to find out what he
- 9:02Speaker 6: created you for. I ain't talking about your parents, who
- 9:06Speaker 6: made your parents. This is God, we created in his image.
- 9:10Speaker 6: Why would you not talk to your maker to see
- 9:13Speaker 6: why you got made? That don't make sense to you.
- 9:19Speaker 6: If you're sitting and gotten yourself in a situation. You're
- 9:22Speaker 6: sitting in the jail cell somewhere, you locked up, you
- 9:25Speaker 6: doing some time, man, be a good time for you
- 9:28Speaker 6: to fly. But whatever your situation is, man, God can
- 9:31Speaker 6: get you through it. He can give you the strength,
- 9:34Speaker 6: the courage to wherewith all the understanding everything you need,
- 9:38Speaker 6: the wisdom to get you through anything you going through.
- 9:41Speaker 6: You just got a touch base with him. I need
- 9:44Speaker 6: God every single day of my life. And what He's
- 9:50Speaker 6: done for me man off the chain. But guess what
- 9:55Speaker 6: He'll do the same thing for you.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening Morning Show.
- 10:02Speaker 6: Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come, uh to wake up,
- 10:08Speaker 6: well not to wake up, because if you're listening to me,
- 10:10Speaker 6: you should be already awake. I think the time has
- 10:13Speaker 6: comeing to realize that you are awake, and how you
- 10:15Speaker 6: got here was absolutely amazing.
- 10:18Speaker 2: I think that's the realization we need to come to
- 10:20Speaker 2: that it ain't an automatic.
- 10:22Speaker 6: So thank you, thank you, to thank you to the
- 10:24Speaker 6: Creator for waking us up this morning, giving us this
- 10:27Speaker 6: other chance and opportunity.
- 10:28Speaker 2: That's how we do it right here.
- 10:30Speaker 6: Steve Harby Morning Show, Shirley Strawberry, Colin for Real, Mississippi,
- 10:34Speaker 6: Monica Junior, and the Legend of Nephew Tommy. Well, Well
- 10:40Speaker 6: looked like something happened. So yeah, you know, I can
- 10:44Speaker 6: always tell he just looks so yeah, I can't. I
- 10:48Speaker 6: can always tell what man, well, Junior.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Here you man, you know deal either.
- 11:04Speaker 8: I don't think y'all, y'all don't appreciate it because I'm serious.
- 11:07Speaker 9: I'm coming y'all with love right now.
- 11:08Speaker 2: But I'm saying that.
- 11:09Speaker 8: Bob says, so a man thinking so so a man
- 11:13Speaker 8: thinking so he is. So I'm with Tommy on this
- 11:17Speaker 8: one now time. No, No, I'm with you on the
- 11:20Speaker 8: time because I believe. No, I just want to be handsome.
- 11:24Speaker 8: I think I'm handsome now, and I think if I
- 11:27Speaker 8: think it so, it should be.
- 11:30Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm thinking.
- 11:32Speaker 8: I'm thinking it because Tommy had a point. Why would
- 11:35Speaker 8: I set up here just agree to be ugly. I
- 11:37Speaker 8: don't why would.
- 11:39Speaker 2: We be doing that. I don't want nobody saying nothing
- 11:44Speaker 2: go ahead with because so.
- 11:47Speaker 8: I'm thinking, if I'm fine, it should be because Tommy
- 11:50Speaker 8: thinking all the time. Don't nobody, he don't even waiver
- 11:53Speaker 8: it when y'all say he ugly start doing that.
- 11:56Speaker 6: Let me ask you just this one question speak because
- 12:01Speaker 6: Tommy think it right. But see you see what I'm saying.
- 12:04Speaker 6: What I'm trying to help you understand when it comes
- 12:07Speaker 6: to physical attributes.
- 12:10Speaker 2: You can think it. All you want.
- 12:14Speaker 4: You is what you is.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Let's speak clear.
- 12:21Speaker 10: God see you know what y'all been ugly so long
- 12:28Speaker 10: that you just want everybody else to be there with you.
- 12:30Speaker 6: See, and all y'all want to use the Bible quote
- 12:34Speaker 6: a man is has he thinking? But have you see
- 12:38Speaker 6: his other verses in that too?
- 12:40Speaker 9: To thine own See.
- 12:46Speaker 6: If you can just start with being truthful with yourself,
- 12:49Speaker 6: it'll help us all out.
- 12:51Speaker 2: We ain't got to We ain't got to sit here
- 12:53Speaker 2: and look at y'all and try to go along with this.
- 12:56Speaker 2: If y'all were just to thine.
- 12:58Speaker 6: Own self be true and then and then and then
- 13:01Speaker 6: you said what Tommy said, there's another scripture. It's a
- 13:06Speaker 6: commandment dous should not bear a false witness, uh see.
- 13:12Speaker 6: And if you know he ugly and then you try
- 13:15Speaker 6: to tell us he cute to me, you band false
- 13:18Speaker 6: with you, see what I'm saying. What you're not going
- 13:22Speaker 6: to do is use the large words to try to
- 13:24Speaker 6: justify how both y'all looking, do you feel?
- 13:27Speaker 2: How you want to feel? They ain't got nothing to
- 13:28Speaker 2: do with me, Shirley Collar and Monica.
- 13:34Speaker 1: After the hour, we're going to run that prank back
- 13:39Speaker 1: with the nephew.
- 13:41Speaker 2: You accuse the Brie sometime, but you're still here, you're.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Listening morning show. It is time now for the nephew
- 13:49Speaker 1: to run that prank back what you got for his neph.
- 13:52Speaker 2: We're dealing with a jesub Surely, would you explain what
- 13:55Speaker 2: a Jezebel is your go to though for it?
- 14:00Speaker 1: My grandma needs to call me that when I Jesus,
- 14:06Speaker 1: when I had on like red nails or something. Yeah,
- 14:10Speaker 1: it she's kind of this wayward woman in the Bible.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I mean, that's the best way to put it. You know,
- 14:15Speaker 1: I'll just leave it like that.
- 14:18Speaker 10: Well, this right here is that this is the Jezebel's spirit,
- 14:22Speaker 10: that Jezebel spirit, and we can't have that in our church.
- 14:26Speaker 2: We just don't. We don't.
- 14:27Speaker 10: We don't tolerate that Jezebel spirit round here, all right. Yeah,
- 14:34Speaker 10: red nails, red dresses and red hats and all of
- 14:38Speaker 10: that Jezebel spirit.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Cat dog, if you.
- 14:41Speaker 7: Hold hello, hello, I'm trying to reach Alicia. All right,
- 14:50Speaker 7: all right, all right, you may not know my boys,
- 14:51Speaker 7: but I'm sure you probably know me if you saw me.
- 14:53Speaker 7: But I'm brother Greg at the church.
- 14:56Speaker 11: Okay, how you doing.
- 14:58Speaker 7: I'm good.
- 14:59Speaker 4: I'm good.
- 14:59Speaker 7: I'm ared to to stur of your evening. I wanted
- 15:02Speaker 7: to reach out to you the uh, you know, the
- 15:05Speaker 7: workers at the church. We had a meeting. Uh, a
- 15:10Speaker 7: lot of the deacons and the sisters at the church,
- 15:15Speaker 7: the have come to uh had a meeting, and and
- 15:18Speaker 7: I wanted to give you a call. Not Melanie, Melanie,
- 15:23Speaker 7: that's that's that's your sister, right yeah, that's my sister.
- 15:27Speaker 11: That's my baby sister.
- 15:28Speaker 7: Okay, all right, well, now we got a bit of
- 15:32Speaker 7: a problem, but uh uh uh. They felt that it
- 15:36Speaker 7: would be best for me to call you and discuss
- 15:40Speaker 7: it with you and and.
- 15:41Speaker 4: Let you know what the you know what they have
- 15:45Speaker 4: agreed upon. I'm just basically the messenger and I'm just
- 15:48Speaker 4: calling you to give you the word of what's going on.
- 15:52Speaker 7: Okay, brother, right yeah, brother Greg grig agree.
- 15:57Speaker 11: You know, uh huh your wife is in the choir, right,
- 16:00Speaker 11: uh yeah, yeah, okay, okay, I know, I think I know.
- 16:05Speaker 7: Yeah, okay, okay, all right, Well, like I said, Sister Alicia,
- 16:11Speaker 7: what the officials of the church are saying is that
- 16:15Speaker 7: they they're saying that they have reason to believe that
- 16:19Speaker 7: your sister has been having an affair with with pastors
- 16:25Speaker 7: and your your sister Melanie, and they saying she's having
- 16:32Speaker 7: and had an affair with having an affair with pastor
- 16:37Speaker 7: not like I said, I'm just the.
- 16:39Speaker 11: Messenger, Okay, So why are y'all calling me about something?
- 16:44Speaker 11: Melany doing well with me?
- 16:47Speaker 7: Like like I said, the officials had a meeting, and
- 16:50Speaker 7: what they're saying is this is nothing but a Jezebel's
- 16:55Speaker 7: spirit and what they don't want.
- 16:58Speaker 4: No, wait, wait, wait a minute, you be a rude.
- 17:00Speaker 4: Now come on, and.
- 17:04Speaker 11: Okay, I'm gonna here you at now you just hear
- 17:06Speaker 11: me out.
- 17:06Speaker 7: Now they're saying that this is a Jezebel spirit and
- 17:11Speaker 7: they would rather all of the family not be welcome
- 17:18Speaker 7: at the church anymore.
- 17:20Speaker 11: Okay, first of all, where are you delivering a message
- 17:23Speaker 11: to me about my sister? If you have a problem
- 17:26Speaker 11: with my sister, seems like you will be calling my sister.
- 17:31Speaker 11: Now we shoot step of people. So why are you
- 17:32Speaker 11: calling me about my sister about a rumor? And now
- 17:37Speaker 11: you're saying, y'all don't want me in the church. Is
- 17:40Speaker 11: that's what you're saying.
- 17:43Speaker 4: For the entire family.
- 17:46Speaker 7: So if you got some brothers sisters, Auntie. They won't
- 17:50Speaker 7: because they evidently all of the ladies in the Thompson
- 17:54Speaker 7: family hell some type of Jezebel spirit and they don't want.
- 17:58Speaker 11: To wait wait, wait a minut. Now you did just
- 18:01Speaker 11: like I said. Now, be be mindful who you're speaking to,
- 18:04Speaker 11: calling somebody a Jezebel, because what you can't do is
- 18:11Speaker 11: call somebody and accuse somebody and then call them a
- 18:13Speaker 11: derogatory word. Come about somebody a Jezebel and a Jezebel.
- 18:17Speaker 11: Now you being ruth sir.
- 18:21Speaker 7: It's a Jezebel spirit, is what they were saying.
- 18:24Speaker 11: Okay, that's got to be the most asinine, foolish and
- 18:27Speaker 11: that's I have ever heard.
- 18:28Speaker 12: In my life.
- 18:29Speaker 11: Who done that? Who are you to call me? Don't
- 18:33Speaker 11: ask me no like that? You calling me like some bush.
- 18:36Speaker 11: But who cast they got a Jezabel? Sir? That's w
- 18:40Speaker 11: call somebody. Kids, come out.
- 18:41Speaker 12: You got a bad ass kid?
- 18:42Speaker 11: Does your mama ra a Jezebel?
- 18:44Speaker 7: Still don't wait wait a minute, I'm just.
- 18:47Speaker 11: Does your mama? Does your red en sit where I'm wife?
- 18:49Speaker 11: Out of Jezebel's spirit? Your ass?
- 18:55Speaker 12: That's what's gonna happen.
- 18:56Speaker 11: You're gonna mess around and get your ass whip and
- 18:57Speaker 11: get drugs through the damn pool kit around with the time.
- 19:01Speaker 7: Well, as of right now, the family can't come.
- 19:04Speaker 4: To the church.
- 19:05Speaker 11: You think we want to be around a church that
- 19:07Speaker 11: got people across up asking me, I show, damn do
- 19:10Speaker 11: I have a Jezebel, But you never.
- 19:15Speaker 7: Answered the question do you have one?
- 19:17Speaker 11: I might have a rehabs fear. Now you know she
- 19:20Speaker 11: was a good Bible.
- 19:22Speaker 12: Now I remember this damn church for the last eight year.
- 19:24Speaker 11: I don't say plenty of tide to this damn church
- 19:27Speaker 11: and attack the problem.
- 19:29Speaker 12: Meet have a problem with me, Alicia? Yeah, uh huh.
- 19:36Speaker 7: Let me say this and then I'm gonna be before.
- 19:39Speaker 11: You say another damn word. You need to apologize and
- 19:42Speaker 11: think to like you got some wis Okay?
- 19:45Speaker 4: Can I say this?
- 19:46Speaker 11: Go ahead? Go ahead? I apologize.
- 19:50Speaker 4: Okay, I apologize because this is if youw Tommy from
- 19:54Speaker 4: the Steve Harvey Morning Show and you just got pranked
- 19:57Speaker 4: by your sister Melanie.
- 20:00Speaker 11: I'm gonna kick y'all lass.
- 20:08Speaker 4: That was.
- 20:10Speaker 11: The girl you guys, Melanie asked the dad.
- 20:16Speaker 7: I don't know who the lady is in the choir
- 20:18Speaker 7: with the red list stick I have no earthly idea.
- 20:24Speaker 12: I have been a long time. Now, wait, you don't walk.
- 20:30Speaker 7: Oh God, I love church people.
- 20:34Speaker 4: I love church people.
- 20:35Speaker 7: Hey, let me ask yourself. What is the baddest radio
- 20:38Speaker 7: show with the lay.
- 20:41Speaker 11: Walking board the show?
- 20:46Speaker 2: All right? All jebel.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Uh coming up? Coming up next, it is asked the
- 20:56Speaker 1: CLO with our Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey and the
- 21:00Speaker 1: building you're listening Morning show coming up at the top
- 21:05Speaker 1: of the hour. And entertainment news. Jill Scott is trending
- 21:08Speaker 1: after she applauded Chris Brown's disc track. Boxer Ryan Garcia
- 21:13Speaker 1: is bragging about drinking every night after his win over
- 21:16Speaker 1: Devin Hainey. Plus Uncle Luke. Remember rapper Luther Campbell, Well
- 21:21Speaker 1: he might run for Congress. Okay, conference, Donald Trump can
- 21:31Speaker 1: be president.
- 21:32Speaker 2: All right.
- 21:33Speaker 1: We'll talk about all of these stories at the top
- 21:35Speaker 1: of the hour, but right now it is time to
- 21:37Speaker 1: ask the clo. This runs from Jin in Spartanburg. Jin says,
- 21:43Speaker 1: I'm married and my husband cheated on me with a
- 21:46Speaker 1: younger woman. She called me trying to get me to
- 21:49Speaker 1: set my husband up in a hotel room. But I'm
- 21:51Speaker 1: too old to play games. When I confronted my husband.
- 21:54Speaker 1: He said, I should have played along with her because
- 21:56Speaker 1: she's lying. Is he innocent or is he running game
- 22:00Speaker 1: on me?
- 22:03Speaker 6: Come on, come to dog. The best defense is a
- 22:11Speaker 6: strong our. I should have went along with it because
- 22:14Speaker 6: she lined my whole strong dog. I'm gonna tell you
- 22:20Speaker 6: right now, I don't know if he lines right. I'm
- 22:23Speaker 6: gonna tell you what. It was a cold movie made though.
- 22:27Speaker 6: I can't tell you that he lined. But I'm telling
- 22:30Speaker 6: you it's a strong move he made.
- 22:33Speaker 2: It has it has a cause you to have doubts,
- 22:37Speaker 2: and in the court of law, reasonable all you need
- 22:41Speaker 2: is one jewelry.
- 22:42Speaker 6: Remember one jewelry. Remember, have reasonable doubt and you can
- 22:51Speaker 6: go free. So I applaud him for that response. You know,
- 22:58Speaker 6: you said, you know he cheated on you, but then
- 23:00Speaker 6: you really really don't. So uh, you know, you said
- 23:06Speaker 6: he cheated on you with a younger woman, and she called,
- 23:09Speaker 6: well if you know that, and you know the rest
- 23:11Speaker 6: of it. But obviously he said you should have went
- 23:13Speaker 6: along with it because she lied, And I really like
- 23:17Speaker 6: that in him. So yeah, you know, so that has
- 23:24Speaker 6: caused me to ponder and go, wowd in doubt, doubt,
- 23:30Speaker 6: there is doubt now strong, strong dude, strong, instantly strong too.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Let me let me, let me, let me get it,
- 23:43Speaker 2: let me give it to the people. Give it a.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Come on now, Damon and Montgomery. Right, I went to
- 23:53Speaker 1: Atlanta to get liposection, and I trusted my best friend
- 23:58Speaker 1: to drive me home. After words, he took pictures of
- 24:01Speaker 1: me and all bandaged and bruised and shared them on
- 24:04Speaker 1: our group chat. As long as I heal. As soon
- 24:08Speaker 1: as I heal, I'm whooping him. Is there a better solution?
- 24:12Speaker 2: No, that's pretty good right there. I think that.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Yeah, this is a guy, Damon and Montgomery.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Yeah, this is a what you gonna talk to.
- 24:21Speaker 6: I don't think that's what gets good to ask who
- 24:23Speaker 6: I think? I think you are the whooping And then
- 24:26Speaker 6: when he gets bandaged though, you post that we posted
- 24:31Speaker 6: since yeah, you know, since we posted.
- 24:33Speaker 9: Yeah, ok, post.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Four men are getting plastic surgery and stuff.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know that for you two could get it.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Y'all have been talking about being ugly?
- 25:00Speaker 13: Is that what you did?
- 25:03Speaker 2: I don't know what they.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Watched? All right? Moving on, dang, Steve, moving on, tell.
- 25:32Speaker 4: Them all.
- 25:34Speaker 10: Sequila and ugly people, ugly people be they just they'd
- 25:39Speaker 10: be ugly and they be ugly ugly spirit were.
- 25:43Speaker 2: The clo.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Shequila and Fort Lauderdale says, my five year old went
- 25:50Speaker 1: to preschool and told her teacher that her mom's boyfriend
- 25:53Speaker 1: squeezes her mom's neck. Yes, that's how my boyfriend kisses
- 25:57Speaker 1: me by gently choking on me, and I love it.
- 26:01Speaker 1: How do I explain that to my child's teacher? Though, Well, that.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Don't sound good to nobody. I ain't you know.
- 26:08Speaker 6: No, I gly kissed my wife. I don't wrap my
- 26:10Speaker 6: head around her thoat squeeze a little bit.
- 26:12Speaker 5: That.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Don't anybody finished play like this? Yeah? Yeah, they finished.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Oh I'm gonna just tell you right now. They finn
- 26:17Speaker 2: take your baby.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Child protective.
- 26:22Speaker 6: You fel lose your child, your child. Yeah, they'll come
- 26:25Speaker 6: to the house and find really going on. Can he
- 26:29Speaker 6: telled me like that too? But he kissed me baby,
- 26:33Speaker 6: her boyfriend. That's how he kissed me too. I don't
- 26:37Speaker 6: like it, thought, that's what the baby saying. Oh my goodness, yeah,
- 26:40Speaker 6: cause he had choked me one time and my my cracker.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Came up a little bit. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 26:46Speaker 2: you finel lose your baby.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Next one ship oh my last one, last one?
- 26:52Speaker 2: All right?
- 26:53Speaker 1: This is from Alicia in Woodbridge, who says I had
- 26:55Speaker 1: a fling with a guy I met online and we
- 26:58Speaker 1: knew we weren't compatible, but this X was great. He's
- 27:01Speaker 1: turning fifty this year and he called to say he
- 27:03Speaker 1: wants to get married and he's interested in me. Would
- 27:06Speaker 1: I be? Would I be nuts to take him up
- 27:08Speaker 1: on this offer?
- 27:10Speaker 2: Well, I mean, you're not compatible and you're gonna marry
- 27:17Speaker 2: a person. How that sounds?
- 27:21Speaker 6: How that's gonna come with y'all not having great sex?
- 27:23Speaker 6: You know, y'all gonna have to sit around and talk.
- 27:26Speaker 2: It's the same person you don't like and nothing, the.
- 27:29Speaker 6: Same person you don't like. Baby, babe, babe, shut up talking.
- 27:36Speaker 6: That's going in this Shut up talking, you talk about nothing?
- 27:42Speaker 2: They think? Hod ho, don't quit asking yourself? That's going
- 27:46Speaker 2: in this.
- 27:49Speaker 6: No, No, don't want to go to church, it's going
- 27:51Speaker 6: this bedroom. What well when we down at church with you?
- 27:55Speaker 2: For Yeah, this is.
- 27:59Speaker 6: Y'all like walking in those sunset sunset, Get on up
- 28:04Speaker 6: in his bed where we where we belong?
- 28:06Speaker 2: You know what we do.
- 28:07Speaker 6: Don't gonna be walking and talking, holding hands, making plans
- 28:11Speaker 6: and stuff.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Can they go to the movies?
- 28:15Speaker 7: They no?
- 28:16Speaker 2: Damn movie. Get on up in this bed. What they
- 28:20Speaker 2: got down there at that movie gonna be better than
- 28:21Speaker 2: what we doing.
- 28:24Speaker 3: What let's go?
- 28:26Speaker 1: Are you gonna vote?
- 28:30Speaker 2: Vote? Don't mean no vote, Get up in his bed
- 28:32Speaker 2: like you vote our vote? We in now both don't
- 28:37Speaker 2: get in there Trump? Trump?
- 28:38Speaker 9: Biding up in the office.
- 28:40Speaker 2: What they gotta do with?
- 28:40Speaker 7: What?
- 28:41Speaker 2: What they gotta do with?
- 28:42Speaker 4: What?
- 28:42Speaker 2: Hold us together? Baby?
- 28:47Speaker 6: Baby bag? And walking to me about saving my nag?
- 28:52Speaker 6: We got we gonna make it? Why would we save money?
- 28:57Speaker 6: Why is you still talking? Why don't we get up
- 28:59Speaker 6: in this bed?
- 29:00Speaker 1: Hey all, we got to do more than just sleep together.
- 29:04Speaker 2: And grasp all we do to go. You was on
- 29:06Speaker 2: line with me when you met. You know that's all
- 29:08Speaker 2: we do. We have great set.
- 29:10Speaker 1: We ain't compatible, right, I'm breaking up with you. Coming up.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Right our swipe lip. I don't even know how we
- 29:18Speaker 2: eat him.
- 29:19Speaker 1: We'll have some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 29:23Speaker 1: You're listening morning show, all right? So Jill Scott is
- 29:29Speaker 1: trending after complimenting Chris Brown and his talent and skills.
- 29:32Speaker 1: After she after he dropped the disc track about Quavo,
- 29:36Speaker 1: Jill tweeted quote Chris Brown is amazing. How does anybody
- 29:40Speaker 1: sing like that, dance, look at act and rap like that?
- 29:46Speaker 1: Beyond gifted? It appears exceptional people have to go through
- 29:49Speaker 1: exceptional And then she put the fire emoji up. She said,
- 29:53Speaker 1: there's nothing to debate. A follower on social media responded
- 29:56Speaker 1: to Jill's post, saying, I think the women he's abused
- 29:59Speaker 1: with this agree. Jill replied and mentioned her mother's abusive
- 30:03Speaker 1: personal experience as well. She also responded to the backlash, saying,
- 30:07Speaker 1: in part, years of prayer therapy self reflection has made
- 30:12Speaker 1: me more compassionate for other human beings. She went on
- 30:15Speaker 1: to say, we say we believe in God, pray for enlightenment.
- 30:19Speaker 1: So today's question is if Rihanna has forgiven Chris Brown,
- 30:24Speaker 1: shouldn't everyone else? That's the question basically.
- 30:28Speaker 2: So we know social media ain't gonna forgive nothing.
- 30:32Speaker 1: Nothing should Yeah, it's yeah, but I mean there's no
- 30:37Speaker 1: denying that Chris Brown is a major talent. I mean,
- 30:41Speaker 1: how can you work a Jill on that?
- 30:43Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 30:44Speaker 9: I mean he's singing, he could dance just like she said,
- 30:47Speaker 9: and we just found out he can wrap.
- 30:56Speaker 2: How long ago was the Rihanna incident? Wow? So now
- 31:06Speaker 2: let's go.
- 31:07Speaker 6: Let's see how long do you have to hold a
- 31:11Speaker 6: person to a mistake they made. Secondly, who are you
- 31:16Speaker 6: to hold anybody to a mistake they made when I'm
- 31:20Speaker 6: almost certain one thousand percent that you have made as
- 31:25Speaker 6: many as many mistakes, how many times? It's just that
- 31:29Speaker 6: people want to people want to put over, people want
- 31:32Speaker 6: to weighe sin.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Sin is sin. You can't weigh it. You can't weigh it.
- 31:37Speaker 6: You know, committing adultree is just like anything else, is
- 31:43Speaker 6: one of the sins. If that's what it is, you know,
- 31:45Speaker 6: you you could, you could call it what you want
- 31:47Speaker 6: to call it. I think the young man should be
- 31:50Speaker 6: forgiven for his mistake, his past transgression, and be allowed.
- 31:55Speaker 2: To get up and move on with his life. And
- 31:57Speaker 2: you can't keep holding him to that and like and like.
- 32:00Speaker 6: For example, when he was denied playing into the NBA
- 32:04Speaker 6: All Star Celebrity All Star Game because he got pushed
- 32:08Speaker 6: back from one of them soda pop companies or whatever
- 32:11Speaker 6: they call. They got a lot of nerves, man, they
- 32:13Speaker 6: got a lot of nerves. You you can't, you can't
- 32:16Speaker 6: continue to do that to a person. It's not right, Yeah,
- 32:20Speaker 6: it's not right. And it was the incident with Chris Brown.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Wow that.
- 32:28Speaker 6: Look, Bill O'Reilly has made mistakes. He's back on TV
- 32:31Speaker 6: in different capacity. You know, they got rid of Don Lemon.
- 32:34Speaker 6: Don Lemon, Look what happened to Don Lemmit? He got
- 32:37Speaker 6: his money and he back on TV. Chris Cromo has
- 32:40Speaker 6: a show. He's back on TV. Don Imus made the
- 32:44Speaker 6: comment about the w NBA girls players and then guess
- 32:50Speaker 6: what he was back on rape College? You know about
- 32:53Speaker 6: the college nappyheaded? Yes, yeah, and all of that, and
- 32:57Speaker 6: guess what he went back on TV? Excuse me? Donald
- 33:02Speaker 6: Trump nineteenth? Donald Trump, y'all got a lot of nerves.
- 33:07Speaker 6: Donald Trump had an affair with the pornos. Stop paid
- 33:13Speaker 6: the porno stop off. The check is that he on
- 33:18Speaker 6: trial for that now. And guess what, y'all still fitting
- 33:21Speaker 6: the vote for him? Man, y'all miss me, y'all, y'all
- 33:24Speaker 6: need to come on. Y'all have selective forgiveness. And that's
- 33:30Speaker 6: all I got to say. You sitting up in here
- 33:33Speaker 6: talking about that, and you want to hold a man
- 33:34Speaker 6: accountable for that, you can't. It's it's not the way
- 33:38Speaker 6: it works. If you still don't find a way to
- 33:40Speaker 6: vote for Donald Trump, because it serves your purposes.
- 33:45Speaker 10: I think that's a little different, dog, because we're talking
- 33:47Speaker 10: about Black America. When we're talking about Chris Brown, you
- 33:49Speaker 10: know what I mean we.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Talked about are you saying he's been held in more
- 33:54Speaker 1: accountable all.
- 33:55Speaker 13: Talking about I think you said talking about Comunity All
- 34:01Speaker 13: Star two though that he was saying they canceled Chris
- 34:04Speaker 13: Brown's appearances, So that was corporate too, Okay, Now has.
- 34:12Speaker 6: We are no we We are the worst, the worst
- 34:18Speaker 6: social media in our own community. We have no one
- 34:22Speaker 6: to blame for this except ourselves. This ain't what the
- 34:25Speaker 6: white man did to us. This ain't the system, This
- 34:28Speaker 6: ain't got nothing to do with slavery. This is us
- 34:32Speaker 6: gulifying one another and destroying us. As soon as we
- 34:36Speaker 6: see somebody get a little leg up on us, let's snatch.
- 34:40Speaker 2: His ass down. And we don't nobody do that better
- 34:44Speaker 2: than us on social media. It's a real tragedy. What's
- 34:50Speaker 2: happening to us?
- 34:51Speaker 6: Man, and we have no one to blame but ourselves,
- 34:56Speaker 6: all because we want to be out front with some
- 34:58Speaker 6: lights and follow.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Us click click click.
- 35:07Speaker 1: All right, So moving on to this story, boxer Ryan Garcia,
- 35:11Speaker 1: you guys were talking about the fight yesterday, admitted to
- 35:13Speaker 1: drinking and partying, uh then actually fighting before his fight
- 35:18Speaker 1: with Devin Haney. Take a listen, walk through the fire
- 35:21Speaker 1: and still hold it down and still beat Devin Haney,
- 35:24Speaker 1: and still drink every day and still beat them. And
- 35:26Speaker 1: I swell, I did everything. Not what the hey, what happened?
- 35:30Speaker 1: False reality?
- 35:31Speaker 13: Right, drank every single night, went out on the first
- 35:34Speaker 13: Monday and a Tuesday and drink, and what happened?
- 35:36Speaker 2: I won? He did come down.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Not necessarily wait wait wait, not necessarily. Am I proud
- 35:43Speaker 1: of that?
- 35:43Speaker 9: But I'm just saying this is it was a statement
- 35:46Speaker 9: to show you you guys can't really.
- 35:48Speaker 14: Me wow, champion behavior. Well, I'm going right now, that's
- 35:55Speaker 14: not sustainable. Through that, It's not sustainable.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Okay, okay, showing up at twenty minutes after the hour,
- 36:06Speaker 1: We'll talk about the MET Gala right after this. You're
- 36:09Speaker 1: listening hard morning show. According to Vogue magazine, affectionately referred
- 36:15Speaker 1: to as Fashion's Biggest night out, the MET Gala twenty
- 36:19Speaker 1: twenty four is a fundraising benefit for the Metropolitan Museum
- 36:23Speaker 1: of Art in New York City. The twenty twenty four
- 36:25Speaker 1: MET Gala will take place on Monday, May sixth, and
- 36:28Speaker 1: we'll celebrate the Costume Institute's new exhibition, Sleeping Beauties, Reawakening Fashion.
- 36:34Speaker 1: Of course, we can't wait to see the celebrities and
- 36:37Speaker 1: their costumes on the red carpet. So, Steve blue Cheese,
- 36:41Speaker 1: you're into fashion.
- 36:42Speaker 7: We know that.
- 36:42Speaker 1: Let's talk about it. What are some essential tips for
- 36:46Speaker 1: well dressed man? And Jerre Well?
- 36:48Speaker 6: All I could tell you is this, and this has
- 36:50Speaker 6: not been put out there, but my stylist Ellie Caramo
- 36:54Speaker 6: Eli Caaramo, has been selected by Vogue to design the
- 36:59Speaker 6: dress for a well known person that.
- 37:01Speaker 2: We all know.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Wow, congratulation.
- 37:06Speaker 6: He does does sketches, he's asking fashion, he does sketches.
- 37:10Speaker 6: He did twenty two sketches, showed them to me. I
- 37:14Speaker 6: picked the dress that I thought was the bombing out
- 37:17Speaker 6: of his twenty two selections, so he sent everything to Vogue.
- 37:20Speaker 6: Vogue picked the exact same dress that I picked. That's
- 37:26Speaker 6: why they come kid you not, That's that's just some
- 37:29Speaker 6: inside information. Ellie said, Man, oh gee, they picked the
- 37:33Speaker 6: same dress you picked, and you know the person that
- 37:36Speaker 6: he's dressing, and it's by Vogue, and you are.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Not going to give it away. It's a cliffhanger.
- 37:43Speaker 6: But what they have on that night you will see
- 37:46Speaker 6: them and it will be a combination of Vogue and
- 37:50Speaker 6: Ellie Caromo design for the met gallup.
- 37:57Speaker 1: That is really great.
- 37:58Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 38:00Speaker 1: He loves fashion, he lives it.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Yeah, that's all he do.
- 38:03Speaker 6: He he ain't good and nothing else anyway, Sherry carry
- 38:13Speaker 6: shooting nothing?
- 38:19Speaker 2: You playing that. He ain't playing no real cards. He
- 38:21Speaker 2: can't drive other than that though he did.
- 38:25Speaker 6: But now let me say this as far as the
- 38:27Speaker 6: essential tips for dressing, Yeah, stop wearing them damn T
- 38:33Speaker 6: shirts and buy your ass something other than some sneakers. Sneakers,
- 38:39Speaker 6: don't go with everything. Stop believing that. Get your ass
- 38:47Speaker 6: some shoes and buy yourself some shirts with some damn
- 38:52Speaker 6: collars on it, and act like your ass is grown.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Fashion tips from Uncle Steve.
- 39:00Speaker 10: You know what I'd like to see, though, I'd like
- 39:02Speaker 10: to see you give Ellie drivers driving lessons and let's
- 39:06Speaker 10: video it.
- 39:07Speaker 2: I'd like to.
- 39:09Speaker 10: Who Ellie all use your Ellie driving lessons and let's
- 39:13Speaker 10: video it.

- 40:19Speaker 6: upset that I threw so many of my clothes away because.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Lord versus War had them already.
- 40:26Speaker 6: That's why, you know, it ain't even a stretch for
- 40:29Speaker 6: me to wear like the veil bottoms and flat leg parents,
- 40:31Speaker 6: because I grew up in that.
- 40:33Speaker 2: That was my first you know, when I was in
- 40:35Speaker 2: high school man, that was it.
- 40:37Speaker 6: The veil bottoms, flat legs. You know, that's what's happening now.
- 40:41Speaker 6: That's what's coming out of Paris and Italy right now
- 40:45Speaker 6: on fully a ride in America yet because European, the
- 40:53Speaker 6: Italians and the French a year in front, so what
- 40:57Speaker 6: you can buy over there won't be a vail here
- 41:00Speaker 6: for a year. The facts, I'm not that's just facts
- 41:04Speaker 6: and so uh you know, we had started, uh with
- 41:09Speaker 6: some designs in that area and then it took off.
- 41:13Speaker 6: I'm not taking credit for it. I'm just saying we
- 41:16Speaker 6: had we had already started. So so when they started
- 41:19Speaker 6: coming out this year, already had them because I was
- 41:22Speaker 6: getting them made last year.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Oh good, I'm already we was making them last year.
- 41:29Speaker 1: You trendsetter, you fashion.
- 41:35Speaker 2: I can't help now.
- 41:37Speaker 1: Why did they call you blue cheese again?
- 41:39Speaker 2: Because I'll be dressing.
- 41:41Speaker 1: I love that. This is from Robin Santa Monica. H
- 41:47Speaker 1: He left a message about.
- 41:48Speaker 4: The w n B A St. Steve.
- 41:51Speaker 5: This is rib from Santa Monica, California. Want to give
- 41:53Speaker 5: a shout out to all y'all in the Morning show. Carlo, Mississippi, Monica.
- 41:57Speaker 5: Shirley of course, nephew Tommy and on, and of course
- 42:00Speaker 5: the man mister Steve Harvey himself. I wanted to speak
- 42:03Speaker 5: real quick on Shirtley brought up the disparity between the
- 42:08Speaker 5: WNBA players salary and the NBA player.
- 42:11Speaker 2: Salary real quick.
- 42:12Speaker 5: Something that people don't think about is that there's only
- 42:15Speaker 5: twelve teams.
- 42:16Speaker 4: In the WNBA.
- 42:17Speaker 5: There's only twelve teams versus thirty teams in the NBA.
- 42:21Speaker 5: So of course you ain't gonna make the same amount
- 42:23Speaker 5: of money. What the WNBA needs to do is try
- 42:26Speaker 5: to fill out more teams in the league.
- 42:29Speaker 4: Number one.
- 42:30Speaker 5: Number two, stop playing basketball in the summer. When my
- 42:33Speaker 5: team loses in the NBA, I don't feel like watching
- 42:36Speaker 5: no basketball in the summertime. Summertimes for vacations is hot.
- 42:41Speaker 5: Ain't nobody trying to be up in the old stadium
- 42:43Speaker 5: with some folks or whatever watching the game all day.
- 42:45Speaker 5: You're trying to be out, You're trying to go on
- 42:47Speaker 5: vacation and things like that. And so what the WNBA
- 42:51Speaker 5: needs to do is have their season during basketball season
- 42:56Speaker 5: with everybody else. You notice that the NCAA Women's Tournament
- 42:59Speaker 5: ain't no viewers. They making way more money and it's
- 43:02Speaker 5: getting way more viewers than the w n b A.
- 43:05Speaker 5: So the w n b A is losing to their
- 43:07Speaker 5: own counterparts in college, whereas the NBA is not losing
- 43:11Speaker 5: to the NCAA tournament as far as viewership and as
- 43:14Speaker 5: far as revenue. So I just wanted to say that
- 43:16Speaker 5: real quick. I love what y'all doing. God bless y'all peace.
- 43:18Speaker 2: You know what, he has a valid point.
- 43:20Speaker 4: He really.
- 43:22Speaker 2: Great voice to rob.
- 43:24Speaker 6: Yeah, but you know, because I was looking at the
- 43:26Speaker 6: zoom and they were just you know, holding the patting
- 43:28Speaker 6: their hand everything, you know, fixing their clothes and stuff.
- 43:33Speaker 2: So I've even known that about.
- 43:34Speaker 6: It, but I thought I thought they I thought he
- 43:37Speaker 6: had a valid point because I've often said that too. Man,
- 43:41Speaker 6: that the summer time, but they want to pick summer
- 43:43Speaker 6: because there's nothing else on.
- 43:46Speaker 2: But the summer is just not a good look.
- 43:48Speaker 6: Man. TV season goes down in the summer. They don't
- 43:52Speaker 6: start back up to the fall because first of all,
- 43:54Speaker 6: it gets dark on the East coast at nine o'clock.
- 43:58Speaker 6: Ain't nobody in house watching no aim at seven. And
- 44:02Speaker 6: he's exactly right about that. He is one thousand percent correct.
- 44:06Speaker 6: And I hadn't even thought about it like that. But
- 44:09Speaker 6: that's true, and you need some more damn teeth, and
- 44:11Speaker 6: then you need bodies in the seats, and ain't nobody
- 44:14Speaker 6: going in there in the summer. They got a couple
- 44:17Speaker 6: of problems, but they be balling, man, and they got
- 44:20Speaker 6: to find a way put that stuff on during the season.
- 44:24Speaker 2: I didn't know it was just twelve teen. Yeah, all right.
- 44:28Speaker 1: Coming up next, it is the nephew and today's prank
- 44:30Speaker 1: phone call. Right after this, you're listening morning show coming
- 44:36Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, right about four
- 44:38Speaker 1: minutes after, it's my Strawberry letter for today, and the
- 44:41Speaker 1: subject is he makes excuses for her body count. We'll
- 44:46Speaker 1: get into that find out what that's really all about
- 44:48Speaker 1: in just a few because right now the nephew is
- 44:51Speaker 1: here with today's prank phone call. Nephew, what is it today?
- 44:56Speaker 2: Early?
- 44:56Speaker 10: We got to get out of these school the kids
- 44:58Speaker 10: you got this napping. Half, I got to call these
- 45:01Speaker 10: parents and tell them about these kids. Half, you got
- 45:03Speaker 10: to call these parents and let them know about these kids.
- 45:06Speaker 10: Half it's nappy.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Hair.
- 45:11Speaker 2: Yeah, well no hair. People can talk, Shirley, because we don't.
- 45:15Speaker 9: We don't have to cut you out hard if you call.
- 45:19Speaker 10: That's the objective. Thus the objective. Thank you, that is
- 45:24Speaker 10: my sole purpose.
- 45:26Speaker 4: Call.
- 45:28Speaker 10: We're gonna call about this this this, this child's when
- 45:31Speaker 10: he called a parent about this child's hair. We got
- 45:33Speaker 10: to fix. We got snapping hair. Let's go get dog
- 45:37Speaker 10: napping hair.
- 45:38Speaker 4: Hello. Hello, I'm trying to get Francis. Hey, friends, how
- 45:42Speaker 4: you doing. My name is Darryl. Our kids they go
- 45:46Speaker 4: to our together. Oh yeah, yeah, your daughter's Kaitlin, right, Yes, okay,
- 45:50Speaker 4: my son is DJ Daryl Junior. I think I have
- 45:54Speaker 4: met you at the beginning of the school year. You
- 45:56Speaker 4: remember meeting me, Darryl.
- 45:58Speaker 12: Oh, I met a lot of people. I'm sorry, I
- 46:00Speaker 12: can't place you right now.
- 46:02Speaker 4: Okay, I no problem. Hey, listen, I was getting a call.
- 46:06Speaker 4: You know, there's only a handful of black kids at
- 46:09Speaker 4: the school, you know, being a private school and all,
- 46:12Speaker 4: and we the black parents, we all got together and
- 46:15Speaker 4: had a meeting a couple of nights ago.
- 46:17Speaker 12: Okay, you said all the black parents.
- 46:19Speaker 5: Okay, I wasn't there.
- 46:20Speaker 12: Why wasn't I called?
- 46:22Speaker 4: Well, we actually had a meeting about your daughter, Kaitlyn.
- 46:26Speaker 12: Well what about Kaylyn? Is she is there a problem
- 46:29Speaker 12: at school? That she's crazy or something? I don't even
- 46:31Speaker 12: know about what's.
- 46:32Speaker 4: Going on with well, actually were you know, we feel
- 46:35Speaker 4: privileged to be you know, you know, like I said,
- 46:37Speaker 4: there's only a handful of blacks, and we try to
- 46:39Speaker 4: carry ourselves in a dignified way, our presence, our attitude,
- 46:43Speaker 4: the way we handle ourselves. And you know, Kayla's doing
- 46:47Speaker 4: very good in school from what I understand, and very
- 46:49Speaker 4: nice with all the rest of the kids. She's getting along.
- 46:51Speaker 4: That's not the problem. What we're trying to get is
- 46:56Speaker 4: the grooming of Kaitlyn. You know, Kaitlyn has these braids,
- 47:00Speaker 4: and what we were trying to do is give you know,
- 47:02Speaker 4: we had a meeting about it.
- 47:04Speaker 12: We want to hold on hold of did you just
- 47:06Speaker 12: say her grooming something wrong with her groomings.
- 47:10Speaker 4: Well, it's not necessarily her clothing, of course, you know,
- 47:12Speaker 4: the kids were the uniforms, but the braids. You know,
- 47:15Speaker 4: we want to represent ourselves with a lot of dignity.
- 47:19Speaker 4: The way we carry ourselves. We want to be, you know,
- 47:22Speaker 4: pretty much nice and clean, spitting polished. We would really
- 47:25Speaker 4: prefer for her hair was straight and opposed to being
- 47:28Speaker 4: braided up, you know, union that kind of gives off
- 47:32Speaker 4: a ghetto type of look to it. And that's what
- 47:34Speaker 4: we're trying to avoid.
- 47:36Speaker 12: Are you crazy? Is something wrong with you? You don't
- 47:39Speaker 12: have First of all, how the hell you get my
- 47:41Speaker 12: numb If you couldn't call me for the meeting, why
- 47:43Speaker 12: are you calling me now?
- 47:44Speaker 4: Well, like I said, man, the meeting was to get
- 47:46Speaker 4: the general consensus on where all the parents feel in
- 47:48Speaker 4: the same way about your daughter and her braids. You know,
- 47:52Speaker 4: we're just trying to keep everything classy when it comes
- 47:54Speaker 4: to the blacks that attendant skills. There's only ten of us,
- 47:57Speaker 4: you know, ten children attending you.
- 48:00Speaker 12: What you can attend you can what you can attend
- 48:02Speaker 12: to is this on hanging up in your face. You
- 48:05Speaker 12: tell the parents, all of them for me. Y'all can
- 48:09Speaker 12: go straight and hit rock bottom out of hell talking
- 48:11Speaker 12: about my child and her braids. Her braids are ethnic,
- 48:14Speaker 12: they are nice, she is wearing brooms.
- 48:16Speaker 15: And I don't know how in the hell.
- 48:17Speaker 12: You got my telephone number. But tell all the parents
- 48:21Speaker 12: for me, the kids to crack of mine.
- 48:22Speaker 4: You know what. Listen, First of all, I don't like
- 48:24Speaker 4: the way that you're talking to me. Okay, I carry
- 48:26Speaker 4: myself with class, with dignity. I'm spitting polished man to
- 48:34Speaker 4: subject of the history. I can just as ghetto as
- 48:38Speaker 4: her hairstyle.
- 48:39Speaker 12: And let me say something real ghetto to your Okay,
- 48:43Speaker 12: you and all parents can hit rock from out of hell.
- 48:46Speaker 12: Don't call me no more with no like this. This
- 48:49Speaker 12: is ignorant. I'm far beyond this.
- 48:52Speaker 4: My child is well groomed. She is going to go
- 48:54Speaker 4: to that.
- 48:55Speaker 12: As a matter of fact, as much money as it
- 48:56Speaker 12: costs to go there to y'all should have been meeting
- 48:58Speaker 12: on how we can get together and pay the tuition.
- 49:01Speaker 12: How about that?
- 49:02Speaker 4: Are you trying to sit here and tell me that
- 49:04Speaker 4: you got a problem taking her brains down and wearing
- 49:06Speaker 4: her hair straight so she can look a lot more
- 49:08Speaker 4: classy than what she looks right now. It's a pathetic
- 49:10Speaker 4: look that she's having right now.
- 49:12Speaker 12: You know what I don't. What's your hair look like?
- 49:14Speaker 12: Take a picture of your self and send it to
- 49:17Speaker 12: me texted to me since you get the Folkes phone numbers,
- 49:19Speaker 12: and give it to you. Take a picture of your
- 49:21Speaker 12: self and text it to me. I bet you you
- 49:23Speaker 12: looked like who would have thought it? My daughter's braids
- 49:25Speaker 12: are gonna stay up for the rest of the year.
- 49:28Speaker 12: As a matter of fact, we ain't gonna even rebrate it.
- 49:30Speaker 12: It's gonna stay that way, so it should be mad
- 49:32Speaker 12: at and represent that's what we're gonna do.
- 49:34Speaker 4: Francis, Listen, I don't I don't want to argue. I
- 49:37Speaker 4: just wanted to call and see if we could actually,
- 49:39Speaker 4: you know, come to a medium on this. Do you
- 49:41Speaker 4: think that there's a possibility that I mean, when I'm
- 49:45Speaker 4: picking up DJ tomorrow after school? Would would it be
- 49:49Speaker 4: all right if I picked up little Kayla and brought
- 49:52Speaker 4: her home and let my wife do our hair?
- 49:55Speaker 12: Please? I wish she would pick my daughter up and
- 49:59Speaker 12: see what the hell I do. I'm gonna call my
- 50:01Speaker 12: husband and him to come over your house and whoop
- 50:04Speaker 12: your after he braves, Yo, I wish you would pick
- 50:08Speaker 12: up my Do I call the police on As a
- 50:10Speaker 12: matter of fact, you're gonna have to call the police
- 50:12Speaker 12: on me and my usband Steward and see what happens.
- 50:15Speaker 4: Ma'am. I'm just trying to get some class here. That's
- 50:17Speaker 4: all we wanted. We're not wanting to fight with you.
- 50:20Speaker 4: It's just the blacks here. We think that we want
- 50:22Speaker 4: a little bit more classy look of the way we
- 50:25Speaker 4: are groom. That's the only thing we're looking for only
- 50:27Speaker 4: person who's.
- 50:28Speaker 12: Gonna be taking the classes when we get to what
- 50:30Speaker 12: you're gonna be taking the class? How about that? I
- 50:34Speaker 12: can't stand up like you y'all get five dollars and
- 50:39Speaker 12: one penny in your box. Didn't think you better than
- 50:42Speaker 12: everybody else. You're forgetting where you came from. As a
- 50:44Speaker 12: matter of fact, what's your what's your name? Because I'm
- 50:47Speaker 12: calling the principal on your day, give me your name
- 50:51Speaker 12: and mister who what's your name?
- 50:54Speaker 7: Uh?
- 50:54Speaker 4: Uh, that's that's that's that's that's not that's not really
- 50:57Speaker 4: what my name is.
- 50:58Speaker 12: But that's what told me when you first What is
- 51:01Speaker 12: your real name?
- 51:02Speaker 4: My name is my name? My real name is Tommy Thomas. No, no,
- 51:06Speaker 4: my last name either.
- 51:07Speaker 12: What what the hell is your name?
- 51:09Speaker 4: Do you know? My name is Tommy nephew Tommy from
- 51:12Speaker 4: the Steve Hobby Morning Show. Your husband Keith got me
- 51:16Speaker 4: the prank phone call. Oh you.

- 51:32Speaker 15: yo ps el cool and there I'll tell you.

- 51:45Speaker 4: He told me, he said, Man, he said, it don't
- 51:47Speaker 4: take but about two and a half minutes for my
- 51:50Speaker 4: wife to go off.
- 51:51Speaker 2: He said.
- 51:51Speaker 4: It don't take for two and a half. He said,
- 51:57Speaker 4: you're right, calm down. What what? I got one more
- 52:03Speaker 4: thing to ask you. What is the baddest and I
- 52:05Speaker 4: mean the baddest radio show in the land.
- 52:09Speaker 12: You know, it's the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 52:16Speaker 2: Here, you come on, get it. What y'all want to
- 52:19Speaker 2: y'all want to march on? Nappy? What y'all want to do?

- 52:22Speaker 2: I'm mad?
- 52:23Speaker 7: What what?
- 52:24Speaker 2: I don't have anything to say to you care for?

- 54:22Speaker 2: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 54:24Speaker 2: We got it for you. Here it is Strawberry Letter.
- 54:28Speaker 2: What was that? My boy say't bag?
- 54:31Speaker 1: Yes, thank you nephew. A subject he makes excuses for
- 54:36Speaker 1: her body count. Dear Stephen Shirley, one of my oldest
- 54:39Speaker 1: friends got reacquainted with a girl. We went to high
- 54:42Speaker 1: school with and he was so excited that she wants him.
- 54:45Speaker 1: He is trying to marry her. My husband and I
- 54:48Speaker 1: invited them to dinner, and I purposely did not tell
- 54:51Speaker 1: my husband anything about the ladies past. I let him
- 54:54Speaker 1: meet her and form his own opinion just from sitting
- 54:59Speaker 1: and talking to them for two hours. My husband said
- 55:01Speaker 1: that my friend is so caught up by her beauty.
- 55:04Speaker 1: There's nothing I can do or say about this girl
- 55:06Speaker 1: to make him leave her. This woman is thirty three
- 55:09Speaker 1: years old now, and she slowed down a lot and
- 55:13Speaker 1: said she's in love with my friend and ready to
- 55:15Speaker 1: be a wife. She left high school early to go
- 55:18Speaker 1: to Arizona to live with a pro basketball player. I
- 55:21Speaker 1: heard she later got a ged, but there's no proof
- 55:24Speaker 1: of it. After he dumped her, she got with the
- 55:27Speaker 1: Chicago Bulls player and moved to Chicago to be with him.
- 55:30Speaker 1: That didn't last because his wife found out about the
- 55:33Speaker 1: affair and ran her out of town. There have been
- 55:36Speaker 1: so many rumors circling that she has been having sex
- 55:41Speaker 1: for money to keep up the lifestyle. Then she started
- 55:44Speaker 1: selling the expensive gifts that she got from her man.
- 55:47Speaker 1: From her men, she has been called a professional side
- 55:51Speaker 1: chick for years. Her only saving grace is that she's
- 55:54Speaker 1: beautiful and that her body's still tight. But now that
- 55:58Speaker 1: she's got lots of mileage on that perfect body, she
- 56:01Speaker 1: wants to settle down with my nerdy friend because he's wealthy.
- 56:05Speaker 1: I asked my friend how he could overlook her body count,
- 56:08Speaker 1: and he said that she never had any children with
- 56:10Speaker 1: these men, so he's allowing her to wipe her slate
- 56:13Speaker 1: clean and start over. My husband said, it's too late.
- 56:17Speaker 1: My friend is sprung, but how can he overlook her
- 56:20Speaker 1: body count? Mind your business? I mean you're judging this
- 56:25Speaker 1: woman who could very well be more mature, now change
- 56:28Speaker 1: for the better and ready to settle down. I mean,
- 56:30Speaker 1: these are rumors. You said it in the letter. These
- 56:33Speaker 1: are things you've heard about this woman. How do you
- 56:35Speaker 1: know if a word of it is true? Is she
- 56:38Speaker 1: selling her body now? Is she a gold digger?
- 56:40Speaker 3: Now?
- 56:41Speaker 1: For her to have done all the things you claim
- 56:43Speaker 1: and her looks and body are still intact, I'll just
- 56:46Speaker 1: say this, she doesn't look like what she's been through
- 56:49Speaker 1: like many of us.
- 56:50Speaker 2: And so what.
- 56:53Speaker 1: If your friend is mesmerized by her beauty? Men are visual,
- 56:56Speaker 1: don't you know that? And they love beautiful women. Your
- 57:00Speaker 1: friend is wealthy. You say, well, that's what many wealthy
- 57:04Speaker 1: men do. They go after they married, they date beautiful women.
- 57:08Speaker 1: Look around, look around. Businessmen do it, athletes do it,
- 57:13Speaker 1: entertainers do it.
- 57:14Speaker 2: And on.
- 57:15Speaker 1: This is life and how the world works. I mean,
- 57:18Speaker 1: I would be way more concerned if she was a
- 57:20Speaker 1: horrible person and you said she was ugly on the inside.
- 57:24Speaker 1: But you didn't say that, So I don't get what
- 57:26Speaker 1: your problem with any of this is. Your friend is
- 57:29Speaker 1: a grown man. Your husband is right, it is too late.
- 57:33Speaker 1: Your friend is sprung and they're in love. I think
- 57:36Speaker 1: you need to worry about your own marriage and let
- 57:38Speaker 1: them be happy.
- 57:39Speaker 2: Steve, You know what, I see a letter full of redemption,
- 57:44Speaker 2: and then I see this hat them.
- 57:46Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, Now I want to read the letter line
- 57:49Speaker 6: by line and I'm gonna point out the redemption, and
- 57:52Speaker 6: then I'm gonna show you the.
- 57:53Speaker 2: Hate, because that's all it is.
- 57:56Speaker 6: And then maybe I had time to do all this,
- 58:00Speaker 6: and then y'all can ask me questions on the second half.
- 58:03Speaker 2: How can a man do this?
- 58:06Speaker 6: Okay, let's go din Shirley. One of my old friends
- 58:13Speaker 6: got reacquainted with a girl. We went to high school with,
- 58:15Speaker 6: and he's so excited that she wants him. He's trying
- 58:19Speaker 6: to marry her. Now, my husband and I, now, so
- 58:22Speaker 6: this is a woman writing this letter. Now, so my
- 58:24Speaker 6: husband and I invited them to dinner, and I purposely
- 58:28Speaker 6: didn't tell my husband anything about the lady's past.
- 58:32Speaker 2: Obviously the lady.
- 58:33Speaker 6: Your husband don't know the lady, right, I let him
- 58:36Speaker 6: meet her and form his own opinion. And for sitting
- 58:39Speaker 6: and talking to him for two hours, my husband said
- 58:41Speaker 6: that my friend is so caught up by her beauty
- 58:44Speaker 6: that there's nothing I can do or say about this
- 58:46Speaker 6: girl to make him leave her.
- 58:48Speaker 2: Okay, now we've got that out the way. Now let's
- 58:50Speaker 2: start going.
- 58:51Speaker 6: This woman is thirty three years old, and now she's
- 58:55Speaker 6: This woman is thirty three years old, and now she
- 58:57Speaker 6: has slowed down a lot. That's called redemption. That's called
- 59:01Speaker 6: learning from your mistakes. Slowed down a lot. But then,
- 59:05Speaker 6: you know, what are we really talking about?
- 59:07Speaker 2: Though?
- 59:08Speaker 6: She says she's in love with my friend and whether
- 59:10Speaker 6: it to be a wife. Okay, that's redemption. That's a
- 59:14Speaker 6: good thing. She left high school early to go to
- 59:17Speaker 6: Arizona to live with a pro basketball player.
- 59:21Speaker 2: Okay, you don't. Young people make mistakes. You can make
- 59:25Speaker 2: a mistake.
- 59:26Speaker 6: Left high school early to go to Arizona to live
- 59:29Speaker 6: with a basketball player. That's a youthful decision. Man, Do
- 59:33Speaker 6: you know how many decisions I made as a young person.
- 59:36Speaker 6: Oh my god, I heard, oh hearsay rumor. I heard
- 59:44Speaker 6: she later got a ged, But there's no proof of it.
- 59:49Speaker 2: Okay, so what Wow? She thirty three.
- 59:56Speaker 6: After he dumped her, she got with a Chicago bull
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: playing moved to Chicago to.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: Be with him.
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: Man, y'all, look it, I ain't no fun. I thought
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: this was her friend right now. No, no, no, no, no,
- 1:00:10Speaker 6: the demand is her free friend. Oh that's why she
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: being so doggish towards this woman. That didn't last because
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: his wife found out about the affair and ran high
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: to town. So maybe she didn't know the dude was married.
- 1:00:25Speaker 6: Maybe he just moved up there. You don't know, But
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: you don't know none of the been so many rumors circling,
- 1:00:33Speaker 6: rumors that she's been having sex for money to keep
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: up the lifestyle.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: Hang on, Steve, all right, we'll have part two of
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letters. Subject he makes excuses for her body count.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: We'll get back into this letter right after this. You're
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: listening Morning show. All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: today's letter. The subject is, he makes excuses for her
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: body count.
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: Here's this woman who's got this male friend and went
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: to high school with him, and he'd have met this
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: new girl. Obviously, she didn't care for the girl back
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: in high school, so she invited them out to dinner
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: with her and her husband so he could pass judgment
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: for herself. After two hours of conversation, he decided this
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: man ain't going nowhere because she sprung on her looks.
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: Let's get this out the way. Damn.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: She fine, she's beautiful.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: Listen to me. I'm talking about putt.
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: All right.
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: Now.
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: You say the woman is thirty three and she'd have
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: slowed down a lot. Okay, redemption, people change. She's in
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: love with my friend and ready to be a wife. Okay,
- 1:01:51Speaker 6: that's good. She left high school early to go to
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: Arizona LID with a pro basketball player. Okay, you make
- 1:01:58Speaker 6: mistakes when you're young. I heard she later got ged,
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: but there's no proof of it, you know, GEDs don't
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: really up your life that much. I'm just gonna go
- 1:02:05Speaker 6: and tell you that right there. High school diplomas ain't
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: done all that much for me either. So I got
- 1:02:10Speaker 6: a high school diploma. I ain't ever been able to
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: flash that. Ain't nobody faith it's got a high school
- 1:02:16Speaker 6: diplomb out. I ain't ever been able to flex with
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: that work. Not now, damn time. After he dumped us,
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: she got with the Chicago bull player, moved to Chicago.
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: That didn't last because his wife found out about their
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: fan and she ran her out of town.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: Okay, another mistake.
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: There been so many rumors, rumors, rumors, ladies circling that
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: she's been having sex for money to keep up the lifestyle.
- 1:02:42Speaker 6: Let's stop right here. She's been having sex for money.
- 1:02:46Speaker 6: Men use money for sex. It's been the exchange since.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: The beginning of time. Women have give sex for money,
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: men give money for sex.
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: Now, if it's a direct transaction, that's prostitution, yep.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: But the other transaction is called dating.
- 1:03:11Speaker 7: Yep.
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: It's called dating ding ding ding ding, whining and dying
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: ding ding ding ding. All right.
- 1:03:22Speaker 6: Then she started selling the expensive gifts she got from
- 1:03:25Speaker 6: her men. That's because you know she decided to change
- 1:03:28Speaker 6: her life. Let me sell some of this stuff. It
- 1:03:30Speaker 6: don't mean nothing to me no more. She has been
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: called a professional side chick for years.
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: Okay, so soul.
- 1:03:39Speaker 6: Her only saving grace is that she's beautiful and her
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: body's still tight.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: Let me tell you some about that same man. That's Hella,
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: That is Hella Hell. Don't you underplay this girl? Don't
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: you not give her her full credit? Now?
- 1:03:55Speaker 6: Her only saving grace is that she's beautiful and her
- 1:03:59Speaker 6: body is still tight. But naw that she got lots
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: of mileage on that perfect body.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: You don't know that, right, She's no clue.
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: And Shirley said something that stunned me and her her idea.
- 1:04:11Speaker 6: Shirley said something to the fact a lot of us
- 1:04:14Speaker 6: do this. Mm what Shirley, do you remember that remark?
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: You said, Oh, yeah, about wealthy men and men with
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: money and all that. Is that what you're talking about?
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: Oh you, I thought you made an are visual Now
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: you said something about a lot of women do this.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: I didn't know what you referred to.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: A lot of.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: It was on your response. Yeah, you said we've all
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: done this something.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Like that said she doesn't look like what she's been through.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: And I was just trying to figure out what you said. Anyway,
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: it don't I don't remember.
- 1:04:49Speaker 6: She wants to settle down with my nerdy friend because
- 1:04:52Speaker 6: he's wealthy. Oh hello, yeah, what what? She want to
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: settle down my nerdy friend because he's wealthy?
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: Judge and jury over there.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: I asked my friend how could he overlook her body count?
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: He said, she ain't never had no kid with these Menill.
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: Yeah, damn right though, damn right? And so now he's
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: allowing her to wipe her slate clean and start over.
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: God, did my husband say?
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: It's too late? My friend is sprong? Your husband right?
- 1:05:31Speaker 6: But how can he overlook her body count? Let me
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: tell you how we can overlook the body count. You
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: can't count what you can't see. You can't count what
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: you don't see. You can't count what you ain't looking at.
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: And you got more rumors in this letter then you
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: got facts. You got more hearsay in this letter than
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: you got facts, because right now, all I saw on
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: this letter for this thirty three year old woman, all
- 1:05:59Speaker 6: I saw two men, an Arizona ball player and a
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: Chicago ballplayer. That's all I saw in this letter and
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: now your friend, which holds onto the fact of what
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: I tell women all the time when a man asked
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: you your body count, your maximum number is three.
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: Arizona, Chicago. And now the nerd.
- 1:06:19Speaker 6: Hello, she's standing strong to me. But how can he
- 1:06:24Speaker 6: overlook her body count?
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: What?
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: Body count? Yeah? Crazy?
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: She's a hater.
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: She is full blown hater.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, why can't she just let them be happy?
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: If they're happy?
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: Hey, let me tell you, so this girl is it?
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: I'm telling you it's all that. That's what's really wrong
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: with this. That's what you're mad.
- 1:06:53Speaker 6: How he gonna overlook the body count? Because he can't
- 1:06:55Speaker 6: over look her body and her faith?
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: You just kept it, don't ask me nothing else.

- 1:08:35Speaker 6: See one thing I done got about sports man, the

- 1:08:41Speaker 6: and y'all don't care about winning. I know goodn't hear?
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: Well? I'm not finn to kill more than you? Oh yeah,

- 1:09:33Speaker 9: just say that.
- 1:09:33Speaker 6: As Michael Jordan ever lost ten times in the road,
- 1:09:39Speaker 6: not that I could think of, I can't recall that, so.

- 1:10:04Speaker 6: the history of the game.
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: Absolutely, Okay. The goat in this game of basketball.
- 1:10:12Speaker 6: Is a dogskin boy about charge that ain't got no hair,

- 1:11:06Speaker 1: special if I just came out and asked her directly,

- 1:12:28Speaker 4: Time.
- 1:12:28Speaker 6: You know, it wasn't tight when you was buying all
- 1:12:30Speaker 6: of the damn cigars and the golf clubs. It wasn't
- 1:12:33Speaker 6: tight when you were down there with all your friends
- 1:12:35Speaker 6: paying for calves and stuff like that.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: You know, going to work through it, dog, That's all

- 1:12:55Speaker 6: you're coming to them with this damn or bottle of perfume.
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: So you see what I'm saying. Dog, He just you
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: wouldn't make.
- 1:13:02Speaker 6: Up mode take you because you'd missed some before and
- 1:13:06Speaker 6: then you finally think of it, and all you have
- 1:13:08Speaker 6: thought of it was about the purview. You gotta remember,
- 1:13:11Speaker 6: women created the phrase. This the thought that counts it
- 1:13:15Speaker 6: the thought that count and what you best to do
- 1:13:17Speaker 6: is get the thinking real hot.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: Well, that's like wrot to you after.
- 1:13:23Speaker 6: I'm just telling your player. That's really where you're at
- 1:13:25Speaker 6: right now. You would make up molde and you're gonna
- 1:13:28Speaker 6: have to get it right now. I don't know what
- 1:13:30Speaker 6: your budget is, but you're gonna have to extend it.
- 1:13:33Speaker 9: If the budget was fifty seventy five, you said.
- 1:13:36Speaker 6: She gonna be a seventy five dollars, let me tell
- 1:13:38Speaker 6: you something. You're gonna be right back in square wa,
- 1:13:40Speaker 6: right back to square wo.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: But what if they're young, seventy five dollars might be
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: a lot.
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: Seventy five dollars. You fit to hate your ass even low. Yes, up,
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: I'm just telling you right now because he you remember
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: my birthday. This is all you think of me? All
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: this hell? Yeah, dog, and she the wife and she
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: even had a baby.
- 1:14:01Speaker 6: No pot them, You're gonna have to stretch out a
- 1:14:03Speaker 6: little bit, and women appreciate when they know that their
- 1:14:07Speaker 6: man has over extended themselves with them. When a woman
- 1:14:10Speaker 6: realizes that you've over extended yourself for them, there's a level.
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: Of appreciation that comes with that scout cart that came.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: They'll return the return on that investment.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: So there's nothing he can do with a tight budget.
- 1:14:25Speaker 6: Nothing yet you got a tight budget now. I don't
- 1:14:29Speaker 6: know how you feel about stiffing this a little bit
- 1:14:37Speaker 6: more daring. You're gonna have to be a little.
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: Bit more dairy this year.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: Can he make something?
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: Don't make nothing for your wife, like a.
- 1:14:49Speaker 6: Coming in there with no damn pops up a stick
- 1:14:52Speaker 6: astray he used to make when he was a cub scout.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: Don't do that here. Nobody write no handmade notes.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: You didn't give him any kind of hope.
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: I don't know what you want. I don't know what
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: the Bibles sent to find find out by some her

- 1:18:58Speaker 1: Would you rather pull up all of your fingernails or

- 1:19:58Speaker 6: there with the two of you, all right.
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: Would you rather be rich and by yourself alone, no

- 1:20:06Speaker 1: true love.
- 1:20:07Speaker 9: I've already done I've already done that.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: I'm wont eight rich and alone.
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: Rich and alone or you mean you mean rich and

- 1:20:39Speaker 1: last break of the day and we'll close out the
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: show with the one and only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: You're listening hard Morning Show. All right, guys, here we are,
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: last break of the day, Tuesday. All right, it's been
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: a good day and Steve. Before we get out of here,
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: we have a question from Trevoy on Steve Harvey FM.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: He says, I'm really mad at my brother because he
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: just asked my girlfriend to be a stripper at his
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: bachelor party.
- 1:21:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: My girl is a dancer and the money is good,
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: and he's always eyeballing her. My brother didn't even holler
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: at me about it first, like he didn't think asking
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: her directly wouldn't get back to me anyway. She's going
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: to pass on the job out of respect. For our relationship.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: I appreciate it, even though I know the money is good. Still,
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: I need to figure out how to talk to my
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: brother about this. When we get face to face, I'm
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: about to whip his blank. What do you suggest, uncle Steve?
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: Well, you know, listen, you're dating a girl that's a stripper.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: He calls her a dancer.
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: Dance she's a stripper though, Okay, but let me ask
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: why she dances? Don't don't does she have all her
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: clothes on?
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: It's not like he can respond. He just he calls
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: her a dance.
- 1:22:00Speaker 6: Answer, I mean, you know, like he like, you know, listen,
- 1:22:03Speaker 6: strippers come out there already, Niked. Just need you need
- 1:22:06Speaker 6: to understand that him, this ain't burlesque. Dum d d
- 1:22:12Speaker 6: d d d D what they slowly taking stuff off
- 1:22:15Speaker 6: that Strippers come out that, Niked. Now, let me say
- 1:22:17Speaker 6: this to you, dog. Yes, your brother been eyeballing your
- 1:22:20Speaker 6: girl because he know that's what she do. Probably been
- 1:22:23Speaker 6: down there and seening to just say you when you
- 1:22:25Speaker 6: saw her she was doing that. Naw, your brother didn't
- 1:22:30Speaker 6: ask her to come and dance at this party because
- 1:22:34Speaker 6: he know that's what she do, But she said no
- 1:22:37Speaker 6: out of respect for you.
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: That's what you need.
- 1:22:40Speaker 4: Now.
- 1:22:40Speaker 6: You need to go to your brother and say, hey, man,
- 1:22:42Speaker 6: what would make you think to go to my girl
- 1:22:45Speaker 6: and ask her to do this at your party without
- 1:22:48Speaker 6: running this by me. I'm your brother. Now what he
- 1:22:52Speaker 6: gonna say to you is, damn, dog, what you're tripping for?
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: Ain't that what she do? I was just gonna let
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: her make her own decision. See, the problem we got.
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: Here is failure to communicate.
- 1:23:10Speaker 4: You.
- 1:23:11Speaker 6: You want everybody to look at your girl the same
- 1:23:13Speaker 6: way you do, and that's not gonna ever be the case.
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: And I'll give you a prime example.
- 1:23:19Speaker 6: Take her in there and introduce her to your mama
- 1:23:22Speaker 6: and then tell your mama what she do and watch
- 1:23:25Speaker 6: how that go.
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: She's gonna mama this Shrida. So what do you what?
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: What do you do? Baby? I'm a dancer. I'm a dancer, Yeah,
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: a dance away a baby.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: In New York?
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: Is that what you mean? Down at the what? Down
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: at the club?
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: I'm a praise dancer?
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: You see? So you have a problem here.
- 1:24:01Speaker 6: So it ain't no need to you're talking about whooping
- 1:24:03Speaker 6: your brother behind, because dog, you're trying to make everybody
- 1:24:07Speaker 6: see her the way you see her, and that's not
- 1:24:09Speaker 6: gonna be the case. She has chosen a questionable career
- 1:24:14Speaker 6: path that comes with kind of some different connotations, and
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: it comes with the reputation. And so your brother, there's
- 1:24:25Speaker 6: plenty of people he can get to dance at a party. Yeah,
- 1:24:29Speaker 6: he should not have come to your girl, but then
- 1:24:32Speaker 6: hire anybody.
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: Bro, Come on, man, it ain't no need to jumping
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: on your brother about this though. That ain't worth it. Well,
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: at least she said no, she's passed.
- 1:24:41Speaker 16: She danced on the job and that's cool. But she
- 1:24:44Speaker 16: dancing somewhere. That ain't gonna be your girl next year. Man, Damn,
- 1:24:51Speaker 16: it ain't real.
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: Well, you know, I asked my husband that I said
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: love with a stripper.
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: He said, it could happen.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: That's because you're beautiful. They have great bodies.
- 1:25:04Speaker 9: And then you know, well I've taken them on dates before,
- 1:25:06Speaker 9: you know, I mean, hey, what night?
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah? Nineteen ninety three, Yeah what.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: Nineteen ninety three?
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: I worked? I worked a cheetah for two weeks in Atlanta.
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: Uh huh beautiful thing.
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: Oh oh as a comedian.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: Okay, yeah it wasn't low with the strippers. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: in love, no, full blown in love with it happens.
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: I'm saying, you mean, it's a job and she's making
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: good money.
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: It's just like you're ready to commit.
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: I was you wanted to marry her?
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: Very low point in my life.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: Is there anything male equivalent to a stripper? Well, I
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: know they have male strippers, I know they do, but
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: it seems like female strippers.
- 1:25:56Speaker 6: Oh, if you're a woman and you're dating a male
- 1:25:58Speaker 6: exotic dancer, you have nothing. You have nothing. He is
- 1:26:04Speaker 6: not yours. Oh he is not yours. If you're dating
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: a nail exotic damcer. Oh no, no no, he is
- 1:26:10Speaker 6: no a dude to do that for a living. No, no, no, no, no,
- 1:26:16Speaker 6: no way.
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: He's committed to you.
- 1:26:18Speaker 9: Magic Mike, Yeah no, it's no.
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: Way he committed to you. Oh okay, he got women
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: throwing money at him, won't him. There's no way. He's
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: saying no to everybody. He can't. But what's what's up
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: by Horseman Horseman Productions, hoss.
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: But a woman's a female stripper can be committed. All right,
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: we gotta go.
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: Yeah, Hey, y'all talk to God today. Talk please, y'all,
