- 1:55Speaker 8: Come come on you, huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody,
- 2:06Speaker 8: y'all listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now.
- 2:08Speaker 2: One and only Steve Harvey man oh man, got a
- 2:11Speaker 2: radio show. Yeah, I do.
- 2:13Speaker 9: God so big to me, man, I just have to
- 2:16Speaker 9: tell you about it. I can't help it. It's rather
- 2:19Speaker 9: obvious to me how big, how good God is. He's
- 2:24Speaker 9: absolutely tremendous. He's off the chain. He owned one, he'd
- 2:30Speaker 9: be clowning, he'd be just showing out.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Man.
- 2:34Speaker 9: I'm just over here, just on the receiving end. You know,
- 2:38Speaker 9: if you're out there, start your mission today, Start your
- 2:43Speaker 9: mission today? What are you waiting for? Why do we
- 2:49Speaker 9: as people delay what we want or delay the process
- 2:58Speaker 9: to begin what we want our hopes, our dreams, our desires.
- 3:03Speaker 9: Why won't you start your mission today? Why don't we
- 3:07Speaker 9: all decide together that just individually. Look you listening. You
- 3:14Speaker 9: got something that you've been dreaming about. You got an
- 3:17Speaker 9: ambition of yours that's not yet fulfilled. You got goals
- 3:20Speaker 9: you haven't accomplished yet. Everybody has them. Everybody's got them.
- 3:25Speaker 9: Everybody's got something that's on the table that they haven't
- 3:29Speaker 9: yet attacked yet. What are you waiting for? Start your
- 3:33Speaker 9: mission today? Stop the procrastination. Now, the procrastination is only
- 3:39Speaker 9: hurting you yourself. If you got a goal of aspiration
- 3:43Speaker 9: or dream and you fall off track momentarily, you can
- 3:47Speaker 9: get back.
- 3:48Speaker 2: To that because God knows where you left off. Now.
- 3:52Speaker 9: You may have to accomplish a few more things since
- 3:54Speaker 9: you stopped for a long period of time, but God
- 3:57Speaker 9: know where you left off, you can get back on track.
- 4:00Speaker 9: I look, man, this dream of being on TV since
- 4:02Speaker 9: I was a kid, and it got off track. Now
- 4:06Speaker 9: it got off track. I just kept it as one
- 4:09Speaker 9: of the dreams, and in some real dog moments when
- 4:12Speaker 9: it looked like it wasn't gonna happen, all I was
- 4:15Speaker 9: hanging on to was just the hope that one day
- 4:18Speaker 9: it could. But that's what faith is really about. Faith
- 4:22Speaker 9: is the belief in things that you cannot see, but
- 4:25Speaker 9: faith gives you the confidence to keep hoping.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Man. Sometimes it just keep hope alive. Sometimes you heard.
- 4:33Speaker 9: Jesse Jackson say it, just keep hope alive. Sometimes, man,
- 4:36Speaker 9: it's just the hope. I was hanging on a hope.
- 4:41Speaker 9: And I'm talking about when it got real ugly and
- 4:43Speaker 9: funky out there for me, when it looked like I
- 4:46Speaker 9: wasn't gonna ever make it, and all of the facts
- 4:50Speaker 9: was in and everything pointed in the direction you not
- 4:53Speaker 9: gonna make it. You done really messed up this time.
- 4:56Speaker 9: Then I sat there and I just hung on to
- 4:59Speaker 9: the hope. But man, that's what I'm saying. If you
- 5:03Speaker 9: got a dream on aspiration of vision or something, when
- 5:06Speaker 9: you fall off track and you want to go get
- 5:09Speaker 9: back in line, God holds your place.
- 5:12Speaker 2: See. He held on to that for me.
- 5:15Speaker 9: He knew I was off tracking, out of line, but
- 5:17Speaker 9: he said, okay, here's where we stopped. You want to
- 5:20Speaker 9: be on TV. Now, when you get it together and
- 5:22Speaker 9: you quit tripping and you come and you turn to me,
- 5:24Speaker 9: I'm gonna hold your place, put you back in line.
- 5:26Speaker 9: Then we're gonna finish the journey that took me a
- 5:28Speaker 9: lot longer to get here than I wanted to, but
- 5:31Speaker 9: then it was necessary because I needed all of them
- 5:34Speaker 9: mishaps to happen to me along the way. So when
- 5:36Speaker 9: I got on the radio one day, which I did
- 5:39Speaker 9: not see coming, Steve Harvey got a radio show, y'all.
- 5:42Speaker 9: That's why I say it every day. See, because of
- 5:44Speaker 9: this radio show that I didn't see coming.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Now I have.
- 5:47Speaker 9: Stories to tell, I got experiences to share, and I
- 5:52Speaker 9: can tell you about me better I can tell you
- 5:54Speaker 9: about anybody. And I done been through enough whereas relatable,
- 5:59Speaker 9: where enough people can go mad that happened to me.
- 6:02Speaker 9: Appreciate you saying that that's what it was for. See,
- 6:04Speaker 9: I get it now. See at the time, though I
- 6:07Speaker 9: didn't like what was happening to me. At the time,
- 6:10Speaker 9: I was really in total disagreement with God on a
- 6:12Speaker 9: lot of stuff He was pulling off on me, But
- 6:15Speaker 9: in essence I was really pulling it off on myself.
- 6:19Speaker 9: But through his grace and mercy, he kept me through
- 6:21Speaker 9: all of my mistakes, all my bad decisions, all my miscalculations,
- 6:26Speaker 9: all my misfires, all the times I knowingly stepped out
- 6:31Speaker 9: there and did wrong. He forgave me, he said, because man,
- 6:35Speaker 9: if you ever come to me. I have a plan
- 6:38Speaker 9: for you that is going to be far and above.
- 6:42Speaker 9: It will supersede everything you've ever dreamed of. That's what
- 6:46Speaker 9: I did. I just got sick of me. Goodn't sick
- 6:49Speaker 9: of me? And I turned it over to God. And
- 6:52Speaker 9: then God started working and here I am today. Now
- 6:57Speaker 9: he threw with me yet nope, arrived yet nope. But
- 7:02Speaker 9: guess what the journey is cool?
- 7:05Speaker 2: You know.
- 7:05Speaker 9: It's like I was talking to this young brother the
- 7:07Speaker 9: other day about comedy. He's a really good stand up.
- 7:11Speaker 9: You know, this young dude is really good. He said, Man,
- 7:15Speaker 9: what is this I feel every night before I go
- 7:18Speaker 9: on stage. I don't know what it is. I just
- 7:20Speaker 9: want it off me, I said, sir, listen to me,
- 7:23Speaker 9: you young dude. This thing that climbs on my back
- 7:27Speaker 9: every night before I go on stage. I don't know
- 7:30Speaker 9: what it is. It's got something to do with pressure,
- 7:33Speaker 9: It's got something to do with anticipation. It's got a
- 7:36Speaker 9: whole lot to do with the fear of falling. He said,
- 7:39Speaker 9: What you mean by that? I say, every night I
- 7:41Speaker 9: walk out on stage, it's like I'm about to go
- 7:44Speaker 9: and step off of cliff. I say, it's a sickening feeling.
- 7:48Speaker 9: He said, man, but you do so well. I said,
- 7:50Speaker 9: that's because the parachute opens. I say, but I want
- 7:54Speaker 9: you to understand something. When I first walk out there,
- 7:56Speaker 9: it's just stepping off the cliff. Now these jokes provide
- 8:01Speaker 9: a parachute which slows my descent when I jump off
- 8:05Speaker 9: the cliff, and I turned it into a glide. And
- 8:08Speaker 9: then I take the audience this way, and I swung
- 8:11Speaker 9: them back over to that way. We might swing out
- 8:14Speaker 9: to the Colorado Rockies. We may go down to Miami
- 8:17Speaker 9: with this joke. We may take it on out to
- 8:19Speaker 9: LA and I just swing back and forth till I
- 8:22Speaker 9: land softly. The crowd cheers. The night is over with,
- 8:26Speaker 9: I said, but it's been too many nights though. When
- 8:28Speaker 9: I walked off that cliff and I pulled the cord
- 8:30Speaker 9: and the parachute didn't open, I said, Now I'm just
- 8:33Speaker 9: free falling out there for thirty minutes. Ain't no jokes working.
- 8:37Speaker 9: Ain't the parachute didn't open? I said, So see, that's
- 8:40Speaker 9: what it's like for me. And then you know what
- 8:43Speaker 9: I found out. If you done walked off the cliff
- 8:45Speaker 9: in life, and you ain't got no guard in your life.
- 8:49Speaker 9: It's like not having a parachute. You step off the
- 8:53Speaker 9: cliff and you just free falling. Now see we all
- 8:57Speaker 9: now that fog gets you closer to the grave, right, see,
- 9:00Speaker 9: we all heading to the grave from the moment we're born.
- 9:03Speaker 9: But the cool thing about a relationship with God is
- 9:05Speaker 9: when you step off the cliff and you got God
- 9:08Speaker 9: here a parachute.
- 9:10Speaker 2: You still going down, but.
- 9:11Speaker 9: It's a nice ride, and God just helps your descent
- 9:16Speaker 9: appear more like a rise and more like a euphoric fall,
- 9:20Speaker 9: instead of not having no God in your life and
- 9:23Speaker 9: you just walking off that cliff every day, free falling.
- 9:27Speaker 9: Ain't got no cord, you steady pulling, you hollering the
- 9:30Speaker 9: whole way because you do mess around with yourself, and
- 9:33Speaker 9: ain't let God come into your life and provide a.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Parachute for you.
- 9:37Speaker 9: I would rather have a parachute since I got to
- 9:40Speaker 9: jump every day than to not have one. God has
- 9:44Speaker 9: been like a parachute for me. Ask me where that
- 9:48Speaker 9: came from. I can't tell you. But like I always say,
- 9:52Speaker 9: most good things that happen in my life that I
- 9:54Speaker 9: can't explain is usually him. You're listening morning, ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 9: boys and girls, let me have your attentions.
- 10:06Speaker 2: I am talking to everyone.
- 10:09Speaker 5: Today who has ever had the aspiration of becoming a millionaire,
- 10:19Speaker 5: or if you've ever had the aspiration of holding a
- 10:24Speaker 5: full time job.
- 10:26Speaker 2: These are the two groups that I'm talking to.
- 10:29Speaker 9: Anyone who has had the aspiration of holding a full
- 10:32Speaker 9: time job and anybody who has had the aspiration of
- 10:37Speaker 9: becoming a millionaire. This show is dedicated to the two
- 10:41Speaker 9: coldest groups on planet Earth. You dig, Welcome to the
- 10:46Speaker 9: Steve Harbin Morning Show.
- 10:48Speaker 2: What group you and Sheridan Strawberry.
- 10:51Speaker 1: I'm in both, Steed, thank you very much, calling for real.
- 10:54Speaker 4: Good morning.
- 10:55Speaker 10: I'm in both too, Ditto. Let's get it, Junior, I
- 10:59Speaker 10: got five jobs. Tell me I ain't trying, nephew.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Timming every day. I'm hustling.
- 11:05Speaker 5: I'm trying to be in there, Yes, sir, Well.
- 11:13Speaker 9: For you, Oh ya, ain't in I ain't in this survey. Yeah,
- 11:19Speaker 9: you got me, plug got I got somewhere else I'm heading.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Ain't. Nobody asked me that, so we just throwing it out. Yah.
- 11:26Speaker 9: That's my two favorite groups of people. Anybody that wants
- 11:30Speaker 9: to work and anybody want to be rich. I love
- 11:33Speaker 9: both them people, because you ain't got to be rich
- 11:36Speaker 9: to be my friend. Because I got to tell you something.
- 11:39Speaker 9: None of my friends are rich, do you do You
- 11:43Speaker 9: know that?
- 11:43Speaker 2: Really? Man, none of my well I got one friends really,
- 11:48Speaker 2: I mean.
- 11:48Speaker 5: My friend friends, I mean my real friends. Oh, real
- 11:55Speaker 5: friends are ninety nine point nine percent of them rich people.
- 12:03Speaker 11: But but what about running in those circles, you know,
- 12:07Speaker 11: the like minded people and birds of a feather flock
- 12:12Speaker 11: together and all that.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Yeah, that's all. They just business acquaintances and associates.
- 12:17Speaker 5: We make some money together, we do some deals together,
- 12:20Speaker 5: we go to dinner together.
- 12:22Speaker 2: You know, we pull for each other. But I don't.
- 12:25Speaker 9: We haven't been through enough to call them friends, you
- 12:28Speaker 9: know what I mean?
- 12:29Speaker 2: Not really? Yeah.
- 12:30Speaker 11: Well, you know what, remember back in the day when
- 12:33Speaker 11: Oprah and Gail that their friendship was, you know, so
- 12:36Speaker 11: popular and everything.
- 12:37Speaker 1: It still is now.
- 12:38Speaker 11: But back in the day, Gail was Oprah's friend, so
- 12:41Speaker 11: Oprah gave her a million dollars so she could be
- 12:43Speaker 11: a millionaire too.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Remember that. I don't feel that way like.
- 12:50Speaker 4: That.
- 12:51Speaker 9: No, Well, junior, Junior, me and you we coworkers, and
- 12:56Speaker 9: I'm more like a mentor.
- 12:57Speaker 4: You are.
- 12:58Speaker 2: You can't borrow money from me and call me. I'll
- 13:02Speaker 2: beat it. Yeah, we ain't here, you know, will be.
- 13:11Speaker 11: Okay, But what have we learned right here? We ain't
- 13:15Speaker 11: rich and yeh, he's not Oprah and we're not gad.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Excuse me, excuse me, Thomas Miles, he is rich.
- 13:23Speaker 5: I'm nephew, tummy, nephew tummy.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Wow. I don't never know what he is.
- 13:32Speaker 11: No, all right, h Steve coming up in thirty two
- 13:35Speaker 11: minutes after the hour, we'll hear from the nephew.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Is he runs that.
- 13:38Speaker 11: Prank back right after this? You're listening morning show? All right,
- 13:44Speaker 11: it's time now to start your morning off with the
- 13:46Speaker 11: nephew and run that prank back? What you got for
- 13:48Speaker 11: his neph.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Your wife is having a black baby. Let's go cat.
- 13:54Speaker 5: Hello, Hello, I'm looking for a William.
- 14:00Speaker 12: How you doing?
- 14:00Speaker 2: Listen? My name is Simmons. I was I don't know
- 14:04Speaker 2: how to uh. Oh man.
- 14:07Speaker 5: My wife and I evidently go to the same fertility
- 14:11Speaker 5: specialists that you and your wife go to.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Doctor. Uh doctor, you know you're familiar with doctor.
- 14:16Speaker 13: I'm familiar with doctor. But that's supposed to be confidential.
- 14:20Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm aware of that as well, sir. My wife
- 14:22Speaker 5: is out on business right now. She's she's gone for
- 14:24Speaker 5: I won't be back until Tuesday. But I got a
- 14:27Speaker 5: call today, a very disturbing phone call, and wanted to
- 14:31Speaker 5: you know, I looked your number up. They did tell
- 14:33Speaker 5: me what was going on, and kind of wanted to let.
- 14:36Speaker 13: Somebody told you my number you got you got my
- 14:38Speaker 13: number from somebody.
- 14:39Speaker 2: No, I looked up your number.
- 14:41Speaker 5: Uh here here it is in that show My wife
- 14:45Speaker 5: and I. Evidently you and you and your wife have
- 14:48Speaker 5: been going through the same type of problems of trying
- 14:50Speaker 5: to get pregnant and so forth and so on. And uh,
- 14:53Speaker 5: from my understanding, your wife is what four or five
- 14:56Speaker 5: months pregnant.
- 14:57Speaker 2: I'm not sure a minute.
- 15:00Speaker 13: My wife is exactly five months pregnant. But I'm still
- 15:02Speaker 13: confused on how you're getting in touch with me and
- 15:04Speaker 13: what this has to do with me. Well, I mean,
- 15:06Speaker 13: all that stuff that we've gone through is totally confidential,
- 15:08Speaker 13: and I'm kind of offended that you're calling me.
- 15:11Speaker 2: I understand that.
- 15:12Speaker 5: Well, what's what's happening is I got a phone call
- 15:14Speaker 5: from the doctor's office today. It seems like there's been
- 15:17Speaker 5: a huge mistake by the doctor's office. Evidently your wife
- 15:21Speaker 5: has been artificially inseminated with my seed. And I was,
- 15:30Speaker 5: I mean, I'm just as disturbed as you are. You
- 15:32Speaker 5: know what I mean, because I mean me and my
- 15:34Speaker 5: wife are you know, my wife is too much pregnant,
- 15:36Speaker 5: and finally, how.
- 15:38Speaker 13: Could they do something like that? I mean, that doesn't
- 15:40Speaker 13: make any sense, sir.
- 15:41Speaker 2: I have no idea.
- 15:43Speaker 5: All I know is that, you know, I hate to
- 15:46Speaker 5: use the expression, but I'm I'm I'm your wife's baby's daddy, and.
- 15:51Speaker 13: And no, okakay wait a minute, no, no, no, no, so that
- 16:00Speaker 13: that doesn't happen, no way.
- 16:02Speaker 5: So I'm trying to make sure I bring the news
- 16:04Speaker 5: to you and see if there's anything that we can
- 16:05Speaker 5: do to I mean, I mean, after being five months
- 16:08Speaker 5: pregnant's kind of hard to direct to fight a problem.
- 16:10Speaker 13: So I don't want this to sound rude, and I
- 16:12Speaker 13: don't want to sound wrong. You said, baby daddy, are
- 16:15Speaker 13: you black?
- 16:16Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 16:17Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah black?
- 16:20Speaker 13: And my wife is gonna have a black baby.
- 16:22Speaker 5: Well yeah, your wife is gonna have a black baby.
- 16:24Speaker 5: But what I want you to know is I'm not
- 16:25Speaker 5: paying non support.
- 16:27Speaker 12: That's what just about.
- 16:29Speaker 13: Child support, and my wife is having some of the
- 16:32Speaker 13: black dude's kid. Are you crazy?
- 16:35Speaker 2: No, I'm not. No, I'm not out of my mind.
- 16:37Speaker 5: I'm just saying I didn't lay down and conceive a
- 16:41Speaker 5: child with your with your wife, so I'm making sure
- 16:44Speaker 5: I'm not gonna be paying enough child support.
- 16:46Speaker 13: Man, I'm not even worried about the child support. I
- 16:49Speaker 13: don't pay the child support. I'm worried about some doctor
- 16:52Speaker 13: making a huge mistake. And and oh my god, your
- 16:56Speaker 13: wife is having We're gonna have a black baby. I
- 16:58Speaker 13: can't believe that this. Oh, this is unbelievable. It's unbelievable,
- 17:02Speaker 13: and I can't believe you call my house, give me
- 17:05Speaker 13: the doctor, should.
- 17:07Speaker 12: Give me this you want.
- 17:08Speaker 5: It doesn't matter who gives you the news, as long
- 17:11Speaker 5: as you get the news. Now what I want you
- 17:12Speaker 5: to do with this? Please don't be giving the baby
- 17:15Speaker 5: no white names and stuff.
- 17:19Speaker 13: I can't believe that You're this is incredible, incredible. Oh
- 17:23Speaker 13: my gosh, call me. I'm trying to give me that.
- 17:28Speaker 13: I'm ready to go crazy.
- 17:29Speaker 12: This is crazy, Okay, this, this is.
- 17:32Speaker 5: This is no reason to be violent, sir. You see
- 17:35Speaker 5: what I'm saying this already, You're.
- 17:37Speaker 13: You're worried about me about paying child support and talking
- 17:40Speaker 13: about your seed and and your baby's daddy. You know,
- 17:43Speaker 13: Oh man, this this is bringing the best out of me.
- 17:46Speaker 13: I can promise you. Unbelievable. Man.
- 17:50Speaker 5: Let me let me ask yourself, Sir, do you think
- 17:51Speaker 5: you may need anger management? I mean, you're not gonna
- 17:55Speaker 5: are you gonna?
- 17:56Speaker 2: You're not gonna. You're not gonna beat my child?
- 17:58Speaker 14: Are you?
- 18:01Speaker 13: Old? Man? Do you know how to push man's buttons?
- 18:05Speaker 13: I can promise you, man, that's crazy. No, I ain't
- 18:08Speaker 13: gonna beat nobody's baby.
- 18:09Speaker 5: I don't want you being violent to me and your
- 18:13Speaker 5: wife's baby.
- 18:16Speaker 13: Spin this thing around? Huh man, where do you live?
- 18:19Speaker 3: Man?
- 18:20Speaker 13: Who is this?
- 18:21Speaker 2: Okay?
- 18:22Speaker 13: Is this?
- 18:23Speaker 12: Because? Oh man?
- 18:24Speaker 13: This is crazy?
- 18:25Speaker 5: Well, here's what I'm gonna ask you. Do you think
- 18:28Speaker 5: you might want to be the godfather to the.
- 18:30Speaker 13: Child to my own kid?
- 18:33Speaker 12: No?
- 18:33Speaker 13: Well, I guess it wouldn't be my kid because me
- 18:36Speaker 13: and your wife's chi. Don't you say that you're crazy?
- 18:41Speaker 13: Don't you say that, say that that drives me even
- 18:44Speaker 13: thinking about something like that. It's me talk about something
- 18:47Speaker 13: like that.
- 18:48Speaker 12: But it's me and your wife's chak.
- 18:51Speaker 13: So don't you even talk like that you're crazy. I'll
- 18:55Speaker 13: tear a hole in your head. Don't you talk like that?
- 18:57Speaker 2: Okay, okay, you're gonna tell a hold and who hey?
- 18:59Speaker 13: You in your head? You crazy?
- 19:01Speaker 2: See that?
- 19:01Speaker 13: This is this is the.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Kind of thing.
- 19:05Speaker 5: I don't want my child around this time, this type
- 19:08Speaker 5: of talk, this type of violence. See your white folks
- 19:11Speaker 5: get mad and want to kill everybody in the room.
- 19:12Speaker 5: Don't you kill who you mad at? Why do y'all
- 19:15Speaker 5: do that?
- 19:16Speaker 13: You?
- 19:16Speaker 2: You this?
- 19:18Speaker 5: Man?
- 19:18Speaker 12: Can I can? I?
- 19:19Speaker 2: Can I say one more thing to you? Can I
- 19:21Speaker 2: do that?
- 19:23Speaker 13: I don't know if I can take anyone of this
- 19:24Speaker 13: for me? Man, I'm jumped to the phone.
- 19:27Speaker 5: I got one more thing to say to you. This
- 19:29Speaker 5: is Nephew Timming from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You
- 19:32Speaker 5: just got pranked by your wife.
- 19:35Speaker 13: Oh you're gonna kill that. It took us so long
- 19:46Speaker 13: time to get taken it. He's gonna play play a
- 19:48Speaker 13: game like this. That's b I got me.
- 19:51Speaker 5: Man?
- 19:51Speaker 13: You just thinking?
- 19:52Speaker 12: God?
- 19:52Speaker 13: Man, Yeah, we listened to Steve Harvey radio show all
- 19:55Speaker 13: the time. Man, that's awesome, doesn't great?
- 19:58Speaker 12: Oh?
- 19:58Speaker 13: Man, I'm gonna go find her and give her a
- 20:00Speaker 13: big kiss. I'm gonna do that.
- 20:02Speaker 5: God, all right, Man, I got one one of them.
- 20:06Speaker 5: I got one more question for you, baby. What is
- 20:09Speaker 5: the baddest radio show in the.
- 20:11Speaker 13: Land, The Steve Harvey Radio Show in the morning.
- 20:17Speaker 1: God, all right, thank you, nephew. We got to move on.
- 20:20Speaker 11: Coming up, Nags and has ask the CLO. Our Chief
- 20:22Speaker 11: Love Officer, Steve Harvey is in the building right after this.
- 20:26Speaker 1: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 20:29Speaker 11: It is time now for the CLO the Chief Love Officer,
- 20:33Speaker 11: Steve Harvey. This one is from CC in Dallas, CC Wrights.
- 20:37Speaker 1: I'm in love.
- 20:38Speaker 11: I'm in a love triangle with a man that's ten
- 20:40Speaker 11: years younger than me and a man that's eighteen years
- 20:44Speaker 11: older than me. They both serve their purpose, if you
- 20:49Speaker 11: know what I mean. But the young man wants all
- 20:51Speaker 11: of my time. He wants to stay at my house
- 20:54Speaker 11: and drive my car, and he expects me to be
- 20:55Speaker 11: a cougar. My sugar daddy is not pleased when he
- 20:58Speaker 11: can't come over. He popped up before and I had
- 21:01Speaker 11: to ignore him, so he won't think it's cool to
- 21:04Speaker 11: do that. He takes great care of me, but his
- 21:07Speaker 11: son is a better lover. Yes, it's a father and
- 21:12Speaker 11: son that I'm dealing with. Cut one of them off,
- 21:19Speaker 11: Come on, Clo.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Well, tricky, let me.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Tricky.
- 21:27Speaker 2: You know.
- 21:30Speaker 5: You in real, real dangerous territory. You have not mentioned
- 21:36Speaker 5: whether they know about each other or not. He didn't,
- 21:40Speaker 5: and I'm pretty.
- 21:41Speaker 9: Sure that they don't, or at least I know that
- 21:46Speaker 9: daddy don't know about the son. Now, a trifling son
- 21:50Speaker 9: could know about the daddy.
- 21:53Speaker 2: But you said something in your letter that's interesting.
- 21:56Speaker 9: The younger one wants to drive your car and all
- 21:59Speaker 9: where his a cop? And then the sugar daddy is
- 22:05Speaker 9: actually taking care of business. Now did she say which
- 22:09Speaker 9: one of them takes care of frying the bacon better?
- 22:12Speaker 2: Is it the young boy of the old dude?
- 22:15Speaker 1: I'm pretty.
- 22:17Speaker 9: Lover, she said, Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's the young dude,
- 22:21Speaker 9: or else you'd have everything wrapped up in the old dude.
- 22:25Speaker 9: So I have no advice for you. You're going to
- 22:29Speaker 9: hell for this open invitation right now. It looks like
- 22:35Speaker 9: you're gonna have a front row seat. And I don't
- 22:37Speaker 9: know how you think this is gonna work it. Should
- 22:40Speaker 9: you get rid of one of them?
- 22:42Speaker 5: Yes, you should before they find out, because that's a
- 22:45Speaker 5: dangerous situation to be in system, a very dangerous situation.
- 22:50Speaker 9: Why you're doing that. Might I add that you are
- 22:54Speaker 9: a bit trifling. I just want to throw that out there.
- 22:58Speaker 5: I don't know you, but that's a little trifling because
- 23:01Speaker 5: if a man was doing that, wouldn't.
- 23:03Speaker 2: He be trifling.
- 23:06Speaker 5: If he was seeing the woman and her daughter simultaneously?
- 23:10Speaker 1: Yes, come on, yeah, So I'm pretty.
- 23:13Speaker 5: Sure he would be trifling. So I'm gonna have to
- 23:15Speaker 5: label you as trifling too.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:18Speaker 5: I don't know what the thrill is for you to
- 23:20Speaker 5: be pulling this off. But if you go to do
- 23:23Speaker 5: to me and then that's your option, you could get
- 23:26Speaker 5: another young dude.
- 23:27Speaker 2: It don't have to be this.
- 23:28Speaker 11: Man's son father son here, even by my standards.
- 23:36Speaker 1: That okay, Teresa, that's low.
- 23:41Speaker 2: You're right, Steve, that's low.
- 23:43Speaker 1: He says.
- 23:43Speaker 11: I'm in my late forties and I think I'm going
- 23:45Speaker 11: to have to divorce my husband of four years. I'm
- 23:48Speaker 11: his third wife, and one of his exes told me
- 23:50Speaker 11: she prayed for me when I ran into her recently.
- 23:53Speaker 11: He was a perfect man until a year ago, when
- 23:55Speaker 11: he stopped bathing, he stopped helping out around the house,
- 23:58Speaker 11: and he stopped going to church online with me. His
- 24:02Speaker 11: blood sugar has been low lately, so I thought his
- 24:04Speaker 11: behavior was because of that. But I don't think that's it.
- 24:07Speaker 11: I don't think this. I don't know this man anymore.
- 24:10Speaker 1: What should I do?
- 24:11Speaker 2: Well, you can have h you can have low blood.
- 24:16Speaker 5: Sugar sugar and you and you can quit going to
- 24:18Speaker 5: church online. It's todamn bathing. Thank you to create it properly.
- 24:24Speaker 2: That's a problem deal breaker. I know a lot of
- 24:27Speaker 2: people don't go to church online. I know a lot of.
- 24:30Speaker 9: People would diabetes and low blood pressure I got. I
- 24:34Speaker 9: know people would haveigh blood pressure. I've been borderline myself.
- 24:38Speaker 9: I'm aware of that. It's the stopping bathing that I
- 24:42Speaker 9: don't get that connect at all.
- 24:44Speaker 2: I got your tied gard to church online. I got it.
- 24:49Speaker 9: Maybe you don't like the bod, maybe you don't like
- 24:51Speaker 9: zoom ministry.
- 24:52Speaker 2: I got that. Maybe you like live church, I got that.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Ah God, I got you tied and.
- 24:58Speaker 9: Taking your medication I got Sometimes I don't feel like
- 25:01Speaker 9: taking my supplements, I got it.
- 25:03Speaker 2: I got it. But when your hands get tired of washing, I'm.
- 25:08Speaker 9: Talking about just you know, just it's just something about
- 25:11Speaker 9: Washington that's so damn necessary.
- 25:17Speaker 5: I wouldn't even have roll in about the church and
- 25:19Speaker 5: the medicine Washington, because we can get him.
- 25:23Speaker 9: Back in church. We can get him back on his maids.
- 25:26Speaker 9: One trip to the hospital to get his ass right
- 25:28Speaker 9: back on their maids. Man, you know, and one big
- 25:32Speaker 9: problem in his life. Or turn him right on back
- 25:35Speaker 9: to the Lord. We can do that.
- 25:36Speaker 2: I don't know what we got to do to convince
- 25:38Speaker 2: him to wash.
- 25:40Speaker 11: Yeah, and this has got to be why she's his
- 25:43Speaker 11: third wife. Okay, Gabby and Gatlinburg, Tennessee says, my parents
- 25:51Speaker 11: are very religious, and I'm a Sunday school teacher at
- 25:54Speaker 11: our church and I'm in the special events choir. I'm
- 25:57Speaker 11: also a tattoo artist and I'm covered in tattoos. I
- 26:00Speaker 11: drink on the weekends and I brew beer in my garage.
- 26:03Speaker 11: I've kept my dad from going into my garage for years,
- 26:06Speaker 11: and I've covered up my body so my mom won't
- 26:08Speaker 11: be embarrassed. I'm turning thirty soon and I'm ready to
- 26:12Speaker 11: stop hiding from my parents.
- 26:13Speaker 1: How do I break it to them?
- 26:16Speaker 9: Wow, Well, man, you can't hide in Gatlinburg. I can
- 26:19Speaker 9: tell you that right now.
- 26:21Speaker 2: I've been through there. I've been through.
- 26:24Speaker 9: There ain't no hiding in Gatlinburg. I don't know how
- 26:27Speaker 9: you didn't fake the funk down at the church this
- 26:30Speaker 9: long with all them damn tattoos. You must be going
- 26:33Speaker 9: to the church as Amish, so that's the only way
- 26:36Speaker 9: you hide all you got on a bonnet, a gown,
- 26:41Speaker 9: them high top boots and some leotards and you're making moonshine.
- 26:48Speaker 2: You just a little duvals.
- 26:49Speaker 5: You just live in your best life.
- 26:52Speaker 2: So I don't know what to tell you. Moon. Yeah,
- 26:57Speaker 2: she making moonshine? What does she called it? In the letter?
- 27:01Speaker 2: Beer beer girl? Stop?
- 27:03Speaker 5: Ain't nobody no damn homemade beer. You and Gatton Burn, Tennessee,
- 27:08Speaker 5: that's moonshine. Stop this Who the hell making beer at
- 27:11Speaker 5: the house?

- 27:21Speaker 4: All right.
- 27:22Speaker 1: So Thanksgiving is fast approaching.
- 27:24Speaker 11: For those of us that don't want to cook a
- 27:26Speaker 11: big Thanksgiving dinner this year, there's an alternative. It's a
- 27:30Speaker 11: pizza that has all the trimmings.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Guys.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Is loaded with turkey gravy.
- 27:35Speaker 11: It has some dice, sweet potatoes on it, some green beans,
- 27:39Speaker 11: some cranberries, crispy onions, lots of mozzarella and cheddar cheese.

- 28:57Speaker 9: to reinvent pizza. They got some great pizzas out there, man,
- 29:00Speaker 9: but you do not have to do it as Chicago
- 29:03Speaker 9: is not playing with the pizza game. As a constant
- 29:06Speaker 9: argument on my TV show between Tanya and uh Terrell.
- 29:11Speaker 9: One is from Chicago, one is from New York and

- 38:34Speaker 5: if everything all right. Ain't on your turn? Check on
- 38:42Speaker 5: the car. Man, ain't nothing like that ghiblip gravy man,
- 38:46Speaker 5: and go over that dress that right there?
- 38:48Speaker 2: Does it? You know how to make that turn? I don't.
- 38:51Speaker 2: I don't know. I need to. I need to.
- 38:53Speaker 5: I need to study that one with one of my
- 38:55Speaker 5: aunties and figured out I ain't got got to do that.
- 38:59Speaker 2: It's an art to great.
- 39:02Speaker 1: I love dressing.
- 39:03Speaker 9: Marjorie makes the dressing every year, and all her family

- 39:25Speaker 5: everything because I did.
- 39:26Speaker 2: I did the yams every year. Really, I stopped doing this.
- 39:31Speaker 1: Why oh you don't have to anymore?
- 39:33Speaker 5: No, hell no, my mama like, yeah, oh yeah.
- 39:36Speaker 2: She couldn't. And man, Mama bridge that girl.

- 40:39Speaker 9: sweet ice and pink cake. It's gotten nuts all over
- 40:44Speaker 9: the outside of it. It's kind it reminds me of
- 40:48Speaker 9: German chocolate cake, but it's all pink.
- 40:52Speaker 1: Okay, my favorite German chocolate cake.
- 40:55Speaker 9: That's Marjorie's favorite. It was my favorite too. Marjorie can
- 40:58Speaker 9: make a German chocolate cake and listen to me. And
- 41:02Speaker 9: I'm not saying this because I'm married to because she's
- 41:04Speaker 9: not listening. Her German chocolate cake tastes just like my
- 41:09Speaker 9: mama German chocolate cake.
- 41:11Speaker 1: Oh, that's that's major.
- 41:14Speaker 2: And if it didn't, and if it didn't, I wouldn't
- 41:16Speaker 2: say it. Would a black person make a German chocolate clake?
- 41:20Speaker 2: Ain't it a black cake? Then it ain't. It's no
- 41:22Speaker 2: longer German?
- 41:25Speaker 4: Right a wrong?
- 41:27Speaker 2: You got one.
- 41:36Speaker 1: I'm a black person.
- 41:38Speaker 13: Make it.

- 41:39Speaker 2: I like.
- 41:42Speaker 11: Bright Coming up next, he's here, the nephew you just

- 42:41Speaker 12: I'm giving you a call, and you you happen to
- 42:43Speaker 12: be in a relationship with a with a black man?
- 42:48Speaker 12: Am I am? I right? I'm sorry?
- 42:50Speaker 1: Who is this?
- 42:51Speaker 12: I'm sorry. My name is Brian Well. I don't want
- 42:54Speaker 12: to give my full name, but it's Jiadiah Jiyadiah Malcolm.
- 42:59Speaker 17: Okay, hey, and I'm sorry. Why are you calling?
- 43:02Speaker 12: Okay? Now you you you are a Caucasian woman?
- 43:05Speaker 17: Correct, Okay, why I'm still trying to get to why
- 43:11Speaker 17: are you calling?
- 43:13Speaker 12: What's going on is I'm with an organization and we're
- 43:16Speaker 12: calling people who are in interracial relationships, and from my understanding,
- 43:21Speaker 12: you are in an interracial relationship. Correct, Yes, okay, I'm
- 43:27Speaker 12: with n b f U and that's n b FU
- 43:32Speaker 12: is No Blacks for you. And what we're doing is
- 43:35Speaker 12: we're trying to get racist to go back to dating
- 43:40Speaker 12: each other, you know, which means Carcasians going back to you.
- 43:43Speaker 17: I'm sorry, I'm sorry. At first, I don't know who
- 43:47Speaker 17: do you think you are calling my house? But that's
- 43:50Speaker 17: just not going to happen. And I don't know where
- 43:51Speaker 17: this organization is based out of. I mean, you must
- 43:54Speaker 17: be some country bumpkin or something, and you have just
- 43:58Speaker 17: really called the wrong house.
- 44:00Speaker 12: Well when h n BF you man has been around
- 44:04Speaker 12: since the early nineteen forties, Yeah.
- 44:07Speaker 17: I can imagine. I can imagine that. I'm sure at
- 44:09Speaker 17: some points you guys have to shut down because this
- 44:12Speaker 17: is just ridiculous. Do you know what I mean? Obama's
- 44:14Speaker 17: mother was white? Are you gonna go knock on his
- 44:17Speaker 17: door to what the hell?
- 44:18Speaker 12: I'm not gonna have time to knock on Obama's door.
- 44:20Speaker 12: He's business. What I'm trying to do is get the
- 44:23Speaker 12: rest of the black and that's what I'm saying.
- 44:30Speaker 17: What I'm trying to trying to tell us we can't
- 44:32Speaker 17: be together because you're black and I'm white. He's condo?
- 44:37Speaker 12: What's who is h okay? Who? Who? Who is this?
- 44:43Speaker 14: This is that I'm a man?
- 44:45Speaker 12: Who this Okay? This is gad Jiodiah Malcolm. And what
- 44:50Speaker 12: I'm doing, man, is we we You know, I'm with
- 44:51Speaker 12: an organization called n b f U and n b
- 44:55Speaker 12: f U man, it's no Blacks for you, which what
- 44:57Speaker 12: we're trying to do is we're trying to get all
- 44:59Speaker 12: racist to go back to each other. What you're talking?
- 45:02Speaker 13: Did you tripping?
- 45:03Speaker 14: Man?
- 45:03Speaker 12: You are what? What?
- 45:05Speaker 14: What kind of organization has that y'all are tripping? O?
- 45:08Speaker 13: Brother?
- 45:08Speaker 12: Let me ask you something. You don't feel empty without
- 45:12Speaker 12: the sister on your side. You don't feel empty without
- 45:16Speaker 12: loving black woman on your side. That's what I'm asking you, brother.
- 45:19Speaker 14: I got I got plenty of black women on my side,
- 45:21Speaker 14: but that don't mean that I had to be in
- 45:23Speaker 14: a relationship with a black woman. I'm in a relationship
- 45:25Speaker 14: with a woman I love. So that's what it's about.
- 45:27Speaker 2: Now.
- 45:27Speaker 14: I don't feel empty. That's the first problem with your
- 45:30Speaker 14: organization right there. That the premise is wrong.
- 45:32Speaker 12: Okay, okay, okay, But brother, what we're trying to do, man,
- 45:35Speaker 12: we don't want to lose our race. We don't want
- 45:38Speaker 12: the blacks to lose the strength that we have. And
- 45:40Speaker 12: if blacks continue to date and mate with blacks, then
- 45:43Speaker 12: we would be as powerful and stronger than any other
- 45:46Speaker 12: race in the world.
- 45:47Speaker 14: Where do you get this number from?
- 45:48Speaker 12: Man? Excuse me, how do.
- 45:49Speaker 14: You get this other in the first place?
- 45:51Speaker 12: Dude?
- 45:51Speaker 13: I mean, I ain't got time for all this.
- 45:52Speaker 14: Man, there's some nonfense brow you.
- 45:55Speaker 12: Why are you calling us hey man? Because on y'all
- 45:57Speaker 12: interracial couple. Yeah, but what this is is that that
- 46:00Speaker 12: ain't none of your business, hey, but it is my
- 46:02Speaker 12: businesses I'm with if I'm with n b F. You
- 46:05Speaker 12: know who you? You are a black person that are
- 46:08Speaker 12: integrated within another race. And what we're trying to do, man,
- 46:11Speaker 12: is get you to understand to come back to your
- 46:14Speaker 12: race and be comfortable and happy in your right.
- 46:17Speaker 14: You really does now come back to my race. I
- 46:20Speaker 14: ain't never left my racey dog?
- 46:22Speaker 12: You a tripping yo?
- 46:23Speaker 14: And do you you y'all get off our phone, man,
- 46:27Speaker 14: don't call here no more with that?
- 46:28Speaker 12: Do you think that you are happier with a Caucasian
- 46:32Speaker 12: woman than you would be with a black woman?
- 46:34Speaker 14: Man, I don't even know. I don't want to entertain this.
- 46:37Speaker 14: Don't call here no more. Don't call there no more.
- 46:42Speaker 12: Be a man and answer the question.
- 46:43Speaker 14: I do you know what you about to get your dog?
- 46:47Speaker 14: You know you really you really gonna get your will?
- 46:50Speaker 12: Be a man, man?
- 46:53Speaker 14: You know what if you bring it over here, you'll
- 46:55Speaker 14: find out how much of a grown man I am.
- 46:58Speaker 12: Hey, man, don't get your man while I'm in the
- 47:00Speaker 12: middle of asking you these questions because I ain't got
- 47:02Speaker 12: no problem coming over there. I got your phone number,
- 47:05Speaker 12: I got your address too.
- 47:07Speaker 14: Ring your on over and see what you're trying.
- 47:09Speaker 12: I'm asking you about these relationships. Man, Are you more
- 47:13Speaker 12: comfortable in a relationship with a Caucasian woman than you
- 47:17Speaker 12: are with a black woman? Dog?
- 47:19Speaker 14: I told you, man, it ain't even about that, and
- 47:20Speaker 14: we ain't even going into that. So look, it's just please, brother,
- 47:24Speaker 14: can you stop calling him? Don't call my guther man.
- 47:27Speaker 12: We'll call about our inter racial people around the country.
- 47:31Speaker 12: That's what nb FU does. We call all of y'all
- 47:35Speaker 12: and we try to talk some sense into you and
- 47:37Speaker 12: see if you can change the world and go back
- 47:39Speaker 12: to the racist from which is you came.
- 47:42Speaker 14: You're tripping, Yeah, you're really tripping, man.
- 47:44Speaker 12: You know what.
- 47:45Speaker 14: Obviously he's just a mental institution you're calling from because
- 47:49Speaker 14: there's something wrong with you. Say, look, don't call it
- 47:52Speaker 14: no more, and we ain't got no more problems.
- 47:54Speaker 12: I s y'all say this.
- 47:54Speaker 1: I'll say, y'all say this to you.
- 47:56Speaker 12: I'm going to your girl's job and I'm talking to
- 47:59Speaker 12: her face to face tomorrow about this. Whole situation.
- 48:03Speaker 14: You know what, and you're gonna get your woo.
- 48:05Speaker 12: No, I ain't getting my foot. I'm going tomorrow, and

- 48:15Speaker 14: would have.
- 48:16Speaker 12: I'm showing up at her job. Put her back on the.
- 48:19Speaker 14: Phone, show up at her job, demands, he would happen.
- 48:21Speaker 12: You're gonna change, man, you change.

- 48:28Speaker 12: Look at me. I know how you brothers get me.
- 48:30Speaker 14: I'm as black as I ever was. You can't measure

- 50:08Speaker 2: I don't really, it's just you know, you don't.
- 50:14Speaker 9: The problem with this whole prank situation is he is
- 50:18Speaker 9: really really good at it, the best and soul and.
- 50:23Speaker 2: That's the problem.
- 50:24Speaker 1: He is the king of pranks.
- 50:26Speaker 5: But how many times have I heard somebody they say
- 50:31Speaker 5: they were gonna pup his ass? That's the part I'm
- 50:35Speaker 5: talking about, and that's that's the concerning part for this
- 50:39Speaker 5: for me everyone.
- 50:40Speaker 1: I think every real every prank they say that.
- 50:44Speaker 2: You don't think. I think the possibility is just growing.

- 51:34Speaker 2: Strawberry Letter.
- 51:36Speaker 11: Thank you, nephew. Subject My Daddy Loves my Friends. Dear
- 51:40Speaker 11: Stephen Shirley, I'm a thirty year old single woman forced
- 51:44Speaker 11: to live with my forty six year old father for
- 51:46Speaker 11: the first time ever.
- 51:47Speaker 1: In my life, I will be in with him.
- 51:50Speaker 11: Last year, after I got pregnant and lost my job
- 51:53Speaker 11: all in the same month during the pandemic, my parents
- 51:57Speaker 11: got pregnant with me in high school, so I was
- 51:59Speaker 11: raised by my two grandmothers, and I thought of my
- 52:02Speaker 11: dad as an older brother or a playmate, because he
- 52:04Speaker 11: didn't do anything but play with me when I was younger.
- 52:08Speaker 11: When he finished college, our relationship got stronger and I
- 52:12Speaker 11: started looking up to him. That has all changed since
- 52:15Speaker 11: I moved in with him, and let me say upfront
- 52:18Speaker 11: that I'm grateful to have a place to stay, but
- 52:21Speaker 11: he is out of control. Last Christmas, he had a
- 52:25Speaker 11: small get together at his house and he told me
- 52:27Speaker 11: he wanted me to meet his new girlfriend. I didn't
- 52:30Speaker 11: have to meet her because she went to high school
- 52:33Speaker 11: with me and is a year younger than I am.
- 52:36Speaker 11: I was polite to her and joked with her about
- 52:38Speaker 11: dating my dad. She told me my dad is the
- 52:42Speaker 11: biggest man she's ever been with, and he knows what
- 52:45Speaker 11: he's doing between the sheets.
- 52:47Speaker 1: I wanted to pop her.
- 52:49Speaker 11: I told my dad he's a pervert, and he laughed
- 52:51Speaker 11: it off and told me to mind my business. By
- 52:54Speaker 11: New Year's eve he'd broken up with her, and she
- 52:57Speaker 11: was banging on our door at three am, yelling he
- 53:01Speaker 11: better not be with another beat in the house. I
- 53:05Speaker 11: couldn't do anything but beg her to leave because there
- 53:07Speaker 11: was another female in my daddy's bedroom and she went.
- 53:10Speaker 1: To college with me.
- 53:12Speaker 11: I can't believe he's still acting like he's twenty something
- 53:15Speaker 11: and playing all of these young women like this. I
- 53:18Speaker 11: need some kind of warning label so my friends and
- 53:20Speaker 11: classmates can stay away from him.
- 53:22Speaker 1: I'm going to move out, but should I have a
- 53:25Speaker 1: heart to heart with my dad? First? Heart to heart
- 53:28Speaker 1: with your dad about.
- 53:30Speaker 2: What about what?
- 53:32Speaker 11: He's not going to listen to you, and he's already
- 53:35Speaker 11: told you to mind your business. He obviously likes much
- 53:40Speaker 11: younger women, and no one wants their father, We get it.
- 53:43Speaker 11: No one wants their father to holler at or date
- 53:47Speaker 11: any of their friends. And he's wrong for that, and
- 53:50Speaker 11: it's very embarrassing to you and very hurtful to you.
- 53:53Speaker 1: We get it.
- 53:54Speaker 11: But the friends don't seem to care because he's got something.
- 53:58Speaker 11: He's got something that they want. When you think about it,
- 54:02Speaker 11: we don't have to guess what it is, because it's
- 54:04Speaker 11: just what your high school friend said, and I quote,
- 54:07Speaker 11: he's the biggest man she's ever been with, and he
- 54:10Speaker 11: knows what to do between the sheets. The other thing
- 54:14Speaker 11: is you have to remember that these women are also
- 54:17Speaker 11: grown women, and they know.
- 54:20Speaker 1: What they're doing as well.
- 54:22Speaker 11: I mean, they would all probably say the same thing
- 54:24Speaker 11: about your dad in the bedroom, and that's why they
- 54:27Speaker 11: keep getting with him. So the best thing for you
- 54:29Speaker 11: to do, you said it at the end, you're going
- 54:32Speaker 11: to move out. The best thing for you to do
- 54:33Speaker 11: is move out as soon as you can, as soon
- 54:35Speaker 11: as you can afford to, so you no longer.
- 54:38Speaker 1: Have to witness your father's behavior with your friends.
- 54:42Speaker 11: You know, you don't want to see all that, and
- 54:44Speaker 11: you don't know that was going on, So the best
- 54:46Speaker 11: thing for you at this point is to hurry up
- 54:48Speaker 11: to move out.
- 54:49Speaker 9: Steve, Well, young lady, I feel for you because you
- 54:54Speaker 9: have a problem with your father. You're thirty year old
- 54:58Speaker 9: single woman and you live with your old sixteen forty
- 55:03Speaker 9: six year old father. Now that's a sixteen year age difference.
- 55:07Speaker 9: So she was born when this young guy was only
- 55:11Speaker 9: sixteen years.
- 55:12Speaker 2: Old, still really a boy. Sixteen, you a long way
- 55:17Speaker 2: from manhood.
- 55:19Speaker 5: So you had to move in with him because you
- 55:21Speaker 5: got pregnant and lost your job in the same month
- 55:24Speaker 5: during the pandemic. Your parents was in high school when
- 55:29Speaker 5: you were born, so he was raised by your two grandparents,
- 55:32Speaker 5: and you thought of your dad as an older brother,
- 55:34Speaker 5: a playmate, because he used to do nothing but play
- 55:36Speaker 5: with you when you was younger. Then when he finished school,
- 55:39Speaker 5: your relationship got strong and you started looking up to him.
- 55:42Speaker 9: Well, now you live with him, and you're gratefully have
- 55:44Speaker 9: a place to stay. But he had a control. He
- 55:48Speaker 9: had a small get together at the house and he
- 55:49Speaker 9: told me he wanted to meet my new girlfriend, his
- 55:52Speaker 9: new girlfriend. Well, you didn't have to meet her because
- 55:55Speaker 9: she went to high school with you and as a
- 55:58Speaker 9: year younger than you.
- 55:59Speaker 2: So now she's twenty.
- 56:00Speaker 9: Nine, he forty six. Well, now hold on, that's still
- 56:06Speaker 9: in the pocket. If this dude is forty six and
- 56:10Speaker 9: this girl is twenty nine, that's almost thirty. That's a
- 56:14Speaker 9: nineteen year difference. People do that a lot.
- 56:17Speaker 2: They do that a lot. But they do that a lot.
- 56:21Speaker 2: They like her daddy, They.
- 56:23Speaker 4: Do it a lot.
- 56:25Speaker 2: It's only a sixteen year difference. They do it a lot.
- 56:31Speaker 7: So now.
- 56:34Speaker 9: You mad because she younger than you. You was polite
- 56:37Speaker 9: to and you joke with about dating my dad. Then
- 56:40Speaker 9: she said, you need to get.
- 56:41Speaker 2: Out my damn face because your daddy biggest man I
- 56:44Speaker 2: ever been with. Period. That's what we're in here. Fall
- 56:48Speaker 2: They like him. Now, that's it. You wanted to pop up.
- 56:54Speaker 2: My question is why didn't so? Now after she said
- 56:58Speaker 2: she know what she's doing, you said I wanted to
- 57:00Speaker 2: pop up.
- 57:02Speaker 9: My course, here is why didn't you. I'd have busted
- 57:05Speaker 9: her dad and her mouth for what for dating her dad? No,
- 57:10Speaker 9: for talking disrespectful to me? Your dad and the biggest
- 57:14Speaker 9: man I dad, I ain't going nowhere. He know what
- 57:16Speaker 9: he's doing between them?
- 57:17Speaker 2: Sheep.
- 57:18Speaker 9: Well, I know what I'm doing when we stand up
- 57:19Speaker 9: here with our do so her damn mouth.
- 57:28Speaker 1: Yeah, that's crazy to hear about your dad.
- 57:31Speaker 9: I told my dad he's a pervert and he laughed
- 57:33Speaker 9: at off, and he told you to mind your business.
- 57:38Speaker 2: But then New Year's Eve he broke up.
- 57:40Speaker 5: With and he was She was banging on our door
- 57:43Speaker 5: at three am, yelling he better not have another be
- 57:45Speaker 5: in that house.
- 57:47Speaker 2: Come back. We're gonna find out if she in there.
- 57:52Speaker 11: All right, We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up.
- 57:54Speaker 11: In twenty three minutes after the hour subject my daddy
- 57:58Speaker 11: loves my friends.
- 57:59Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 58:03Speaker 1: Morning show, all.
- 58:05Speaker 11: Right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter, the
- 58:08Speaker 11: subject my daddy loves my friends.
- 58:12Speaker 2: Yeah, your daddy loved your friends. Your daddy's sixteen years
- 58:16Speaker 2: older than you.
- 58:18Speaker 9: He then started dating one of your friends went to
- 58:20Speaker 9: high school, who's a year younger than me. He's seventeen
- 58:24Speaker 9: years older than her. You upset about it because she
- 58:27Speaker 9: done told you she ain't going nowhere because he the
- 58:29Speaker 9: biggest man she ever had, and he know what he
- 58:31Speaker 9: doing between them sheets.
- 58:34Speaker 5: You get mad at your daddy. Tell your daddy he'll pervert.
- 58:36Speaker 5: He tell you to mind your business.
- 58:40Speaker 12: Now.
- 58:40Speaker 5: A girl that told you that you say you wanted
- 58:42Speaker 5: a proper I suggested you bust are dead in the mouth.
- 58:44Speaker 2: That's what I hate. What you didn't do that.
- 58:49Speaker 9: Now by New Year's Eve, he's broken up with it,
- 58:51Speaker 9: and he was and she was banging on our door
- 58:54Speaker 9: at three of them telling him you better not have
- 58:57Speaker 9: another be in that house.
- 58:59Speaker 11: Whoo.
- 59:00Speaker 9: I couldn't do anything but beg her to leave because
- 59:03Speaker 9: there was another helpful in my daddy's bedroom, and she
- 59:07Speaker 9: went to college with me.
- 59:12Speaker 2: Now listen to this.
- 59:14Speaker 9: First of all, this was the same girl as now
- 59:17Speaker 9: banging on the door that told you their daddy the
- 59:19Speaker 9: biggest man she hadn't been with, and he know what
- 59:22Speaker 9: do between the sheets.
- 59:24Speaker 2: She banging on the door, You begging her to leave,
- 59:26Speaker 2: he telling her, She yelling out, you better not have
- 59:29Speaker 2: another being that. Well, here's a problem.
- 59:32Speaker 9: There was another woman in the room, and you could
- 59:37Speaker 9: have ended the girl's all this beating on the dope
- 59:40Speaker 9: by letting her in.
- 59:45Speaker 5: Because you scared to hit her in the mouth. I
- 59:47Speaker 5: bet that other girl ain't somebody need to put her
- 59:52Speaker 5: hands then in the let it happen. Yeah, one of
- 59:55Speaker 5: these girls can end all this bravado she got going
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: all right.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: So now.
- 1:00:04Speaker 9: I can't believe he's still acting like he's twenty something
- 1:00:08Speaker 9: and playing all these young women like this.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: Well, let me go back to the top of the letter.
- 1:00:12Speaker 5: You said when you were born, you thought your daddy
- 1:00:15Speaker 5: was your older brother, because all he did was play
- 1:00:18Speaker 5: with you.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: So obviously he's not the maturest person in the world.
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: A lot of men I found who date younger women
- 1:00:27Speaker 5: is because they're not mature enough for women their age,
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: and so they compensate by going the younger route so
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: they could appear to be more than they are, and
- 1:00:39Speaker 5: they can think they all this and all that, because
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: see a grown woman, you got to do more than
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: be the biggest man she ever met, because at forty six,
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: they try to figure out their future, make sure they
- 1:00:49Speaker 5: got some security.
- 1:00:51Speaker 9: So all this you the biggest man we have met. Yeah,
- 1:00:53Speaker 9: that's nice, that's good. But where we're going to win from?
- 1:01:01Speaker 9: You know what we're gonna drive?
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:01:05Speaker 9: Are we gonna have a home to live in? Are
- 1:01:07Speaker 9: we gonna build up equity? That's what grown women want
- 1:01:10Speaker 9: to know. Young girls don't do that.
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: Most men I know who date younger is because they
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: don't have the mental capacity to deal with grown women.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: That's what I've found.
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: That's not always the case, but a lot of guys
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: that I know that date younger women are because they
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: can't handle what comes with a grown woman. And so
- 1:01:32Speaker 5: I need some kind of warning label to my friends
- 1:01:36Speaker 5: and classmates to stay away from him. I'm going to
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: move out, But should I have a heart to heart
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: with my dad surely said it best, though you're gonna
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: have a heart to heart about what. There's nothing to
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: talk about. He's a grown man that has a character flaw.
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: You're not gonna change your character flaw. He ain't with
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: your mama, calls you and your your mama forty six.
- 1:01:59Speaker 5: He ain't which your mama. He can't handle it. He's
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: running from his age group because he don't want to
- 1:02:04Speaker 5: live up to what their expectations of requirements of his
- 1:02:07Speaker 5: age group is.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: So let him go about his business. Keep keep that
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: out your head.
- 1:02:14Speaker 9: And you need to just move out the house because
- 1:02:18Speaker 9: like he said, it ain't your business. Don't make it
- 1:02:20Speaker 9: your business.
- 1:02:22Speaker 5: Well, well, you know, he gonna end up with nothing
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: because these women right here eventually they gonna want something,
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: and he ain't gonna have nothing except some size.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: M And you can't take size down at the bank.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: They want down there.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: They don't care knowing about your size. At the car.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: You can't take that out of the dealership.
- 1:02:51Speaker 9: Damn, Maryly Lynch, don't give a damn about yourself. Wells father,
- 1:02:58Speaker 9: ain't they ain't got nothing, all of you. You gotta
- 1:03:00Speaker 9: have masks on to come in here, but not size
- 1:03:03Speaker 9: ain't got nothing.
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: Damn.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: D to text.
- 1:03:08Speaker 9: So no, you shouldn't have a heart to heart because
- 1:03:11Speaker 9: what are you going to say, he's your father, Yeah,
- 1:03:14Speaker 9: and it's supposed to be somebody you look up to.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: Dance. Stop dating these young girls. He's not, he's not.
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:03:23Speaker 11: Well you know what, let me ask you this, Steve.
- 1:03:24Speaker 11: Would she be mad if they weren't her friends? They
- 1:03:27Speaker 11: were just young women, but they weren't her friends. I
- 1:03:30Speaker 11: think she probably could deal with that a little better.
- 1:03:34Speaker 11: She's the problem is she's met too because they're her friends,
- 1:03:38Speaker 11: because she knows no one.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: Yeah, she went to high school with one, in college
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: with the other.
- 1:03:44Speaker 11: She doesn't like the fact that they're young, but she
- 1:03:47Speaker 11: really hates if they're her friends.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: Well, yeah, that's a problem too. But yeah, that is
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: a huge problem.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: If he could just stop doing that. Not yeah, leave
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: my friends alone.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: Dad, don't go to graduate school. Don't go to gradual school.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: All right, right, junior?
- 1:04:12Speaker 12: All right?
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: Thanks Steve.

- 1:06:33Speaker 5: telling you, don't even This is personal advice for people
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: I know. Oh okay, don't nobody like that combination. It
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: was a bad idea. It was a bad idea. If
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: you the person that make the yams and you're putting
- 1:06:51Speaker 5: marsh roast marshmallows on top of it, keep yourys at
- 1:06:55Speaker 5: the house too.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: Yes, what about the greens?
- 1:07:01Speaker 11: Do I pack the greens or bring up all the
- 1:07:03Speaker 11: plane because you know, greens on the flight.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: They got to go under. You got you might have

- 1:07:25Speaker 1: To the house.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: That's a solid. But you don't have to be careful.
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: Everybody can't make potato, you.

- 1:07:48Speaker 11: she has five grown children that are married and a
- 1:07:51Speaker 11: lot of grandchildren. I don't have any kids. I love
- 1:07:54Speaker 11: spending time with her family, just not at our house
- 1:07:58Speaker 11: together with the husband than all of the grandchildren. There

- 1:08:31Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:08:31Speaker 5: The fact that you don't like it, you're gonna have
- 1:08:33Speaker 5: to grin and bury it, you know. Just do you
- 1:08:36Speaker 5: some stuff, get your TV, put you some headsets on.
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: Act like it ain't happening.
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: Be cardial and committee.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: Act like that's not happening.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: Yeah, just look at that TV. Just look at that TV.
- 1:08:49Speaker 9: I'll go right on over the cigar lounge, y'all go ahead,
- 1:08:53Speaker 9: and they trickle their ass over there. My little daughter
- 1:08:55Speaker 9: gonna bring Bjail over to the cigar line one day.
- 1:08:58Speaker 9: He said, Papa, it's too okay in here. Get your

- 1:09:40Speaker 4: Every down.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: I really care for the hoods, don't like but one
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: of them.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: So wait a minute, did you just say that though?
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: Did you just say that it's slipped out? It's slipped out? Okay,
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: you didn't mean I slipped out. Yeah, but I'm not
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: retracting it. Damn. I shouldn't have said.
- 1:10:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: I probably have.
- 1:10:04Speaker 5: I probably shouldn't have said I got all that, but
- 1:10:06Speaker 5: I'm not retracting.
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: Damn. They just hear it. They just heard it. That's it.
- 1:10:13Speaker 11: But well, the good thing is, no, they don't know
- 1:10:17Speaker 11: who it is, but everybody's gonna be thinking.

- 1:10:39Speaker 2: You just let everybody know. I don't. I don't have

- 1:10:43Speaker 1: You know whatever.
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: Everybody know how I feel. Ask me something about one

- 1:17:21Speaker 15: on the taco, not.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: A day's round?
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: What you rather?
- 1:17:29Speaker 11: Coming up next and forty nine minutes afterwards, our last
- 1:17:32Speaker 11: break of the day, and Steve will be back to
- 1:17:34Speaker 11: close out the show.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Harvey Morning Show. Last break
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: of the day.
- 1:17:41Speaker 11: Steve Harvey take us away with some insightful closing remarks.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: I know you have some for us today.
- 1:17:47Speaker 9: Well, you know, I think it's imperative. Yesterday we talked
- 1:17:54Speaker 9: about how hate is so counter productive. Well, let's talk
- 1:18:02Speaker 9: about something today that is productive. And that's one of
- 1:18:07Speaker 9: the major of principles of success.
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: I don't know if.
- 1:18:16Speaker 5: People understand the real value of dreams and visions. I
- 1:18:22Speaker 5: don't know if people understand the real value of writing
- 1:18:28Speaker 5: it down.
- 1:18:30Speaker 9: You know, having dreams and visions is one thing. It's
- 1:18:34Speaker 9: the writing it down part that solidifies it and makes it.
- 1:18:42Speaker 5: More doable and concrete. And the reason I'm saying that
- 1:18:48Speaker 5: is because writing your visions down everything you want on
- 1:18:51Speaker 5: a piece of paper, or creating a vision board isn't
- 1:18:54Speaker 5: just a principle of success.
- 1:18:56Speaker 9: Well, it is very much a principle of success. But
- 1:19:00Speaker 9: it's a scripture. It's actually in the Bible.
- 1:19:05Speaker 5: God has laid out for us exactly how to have
- 1:19:10Speaker 5: the best life possible for you. He's already laid that out.
- 1:19:16Speaker 5: He gave us words of encouragement. He gives us wisdom,
- 1:19:21Speaker 5: he gives us understanding. That's what Proverbs is all about,
- 1:19:25Speaker 5: That's what the Psalms is about.
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: He gives you an.
- 1:19:28Speaker 5: Examples of people overcoming throughout the Bible.
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: He gives you examples of what real faith can do.
- 1:19:36Speaker 5: He has He.
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: Shows you seasons of what can happen to people.
- 1:19:44Speaker 9: But one of the things Rebeca two and two says,
- 1:19:48Speaker 9: write the vision and make it plain so.
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: That he who reads it will run to it.
- 1:19:55Speaker 9: And even though it terry, terry means take along time,
- 1:20:00Speaker 9: wait for it, for surely it will come at an
- 1:20:04Speaker 9: appointed time. It's so important that that you as people,
- 1:20:11Speaker 9: that we as people never forget the significance and the
- 1:20:15Speaker 9: importance of writing our goals and our visions, our wants,
- 1:20:19Speaker 9: our dreams, our hopes, our yearnings down.
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: It is imperative that you write it down. It's not
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: anything that that should be taken lightly. This is very,
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: very real. It can change your life.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: It really really can.
- 1:20:43Speaker 5: Man, it could do so much for you. Because see
- 1:20:46Speaker 5: where you are now, it's temporary. You've got to understand that.
- 1:20:51Speaker 5: But you've got to have a dream and a vision
- 1:20:54Speaker 5: to get out of that place so you can move
- 1:20:57Speaker 5: on to your next space.
- 1:20:58Speaker 9: All of us are being tested on some form, shape,
- 1:21:01Speaker 9: or fashion. All of us are being tested.
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: On some level. All of us.
- 1:21:06Speaker 9: Ain't nobody scot free of the test of life, but man.
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: With the dreaming vision to Rebeka two and two.
- 1:21:18Speaker 5: Writing a vision and making it plain it can get
- 1:21:21Speaker 5: you into your season A lot sooner. Bishop Getty sent
- 1:21:26Speaker 5: me something. Bishop gettys is minister.
- 1:21:31Speaker 9: Down in the Carolinas who came on my show once
- 1:21:35Speaker 9: and we've become friends every since. And he sent me
- 1:21:41Speaker 9: something one day, and he told me, he said, never
- 1:21:45Speaker 9: judge somebody based on the season.
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: Are y'all listening? Never judged someone based on the season.
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: He told me.
- 1:21:55Speaker 9: He said, one season, David was a shepherd, the next
- 1:22:01Speaker 9: season he was a king. One season, Ruth was working
- 1:22:08Speaker 9: in the field, the next season she was owning the
- 1:22:14Speaker 9: same field.
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: One season, Mordecai.
- 1:22:23Speaker 5: Was sitting outside the king's palace, the next season he
- 1:22:29Speaker 5: was inside the palace.
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: And what he was saying to me was, we serve a.
- 1:22:36Speaker 9: God who turns things around, and that is the God
- 1:22:41Speaker 9: of unmerited favor. You can't judge somebody based on the season.
- 1:22:49Speaker 9: You don't know who you're talking to. You don't know
- 1:22:52Speaker 9: what God gonna do for this person. You don't know
- 1:22:54Speaker 9: what this person written down. You don't know what this
- 1:22:58Speaker 9: vision this person has, and you don't know what kind
- 1:23:02Speaker 9: of grace God gonna put on this person. So like
- 1:23:06Speaker 9: we were talking about on the radio show, we were
- 1:23:09Speaker 9: talking about, have you gotten more than your thought? Or
- 1:23:13Speaker 9: did you get everything you ever wanted? A lot of
- 1:23:15Speaker 9: this stuff I have, I ain't even see. I didn't
- 1:23:18Speaker 9: even know it was nothing to want. I didn't know
- 1:23:23Speaker 9: to want certain things because I didn't know certain things existed.
- 1:23:30Speaker 5: But he gave it to me anyway, because he has
- 1:23:33Speaker 5: this thing called grace. But what has helped me a
- 1:23:36Speaker 5: great deal along the way is writing down everything on paper,
- 1:23:42Speaker 5: making notes in my iPhone, having vision boards.
- 1:23:46Speaker 9: It has completely turned my life around. It'll do the
- 1:23:49Speaker 9: same thing for you because of a scripture Rebecca two
- 1:23:53Speaker 9: and two. Write the vision and make it play period.
- 1:23:59Speaker 9: It change your life. If somebody told that to me,
- 1:24:04Speaker 9: I try that.
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: I really would.
- 1:24:06Speaker 5: Those are my close remarks today. Hey listen, y'all talk
- 1:24:09Speaker 5: to God. He loved to hear from you today. He
- 1:24:11Speaker 5: really really would. All right, y'all stay in peace now.
