  Speaker 1: Y'all know what time of y'all don't know, y'all back
• 0:09
Speaker 1: a suit on, looking back to back down, giving them
• 0:13
Speaker 1: more like amazing buck things. And it's not doing me
• 0:19
Speaker 1: true good at Steve hastening to move together for Steve
• 0:30
Speaker 1: please by, I don't join by, join me, you go
• 0:53
Speaker 1: with me. You gotta use turning them. You gotta turn
• 1:40
Speaker 1: to turn them out. Turn you haven't got to turn
• 1:44
Speaker 1: them out. Then water, the water come come on your back.
• 1:59
Speaker 1: That it uh huh, I sure will a good morning everybody.
• 2:04
Speaker 1: You are listening to the voice, come on dig me now.
• 2:07
Speaker 1: One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man
• 2:11
Speaker 1: o man o man? How good is God to me?
• 2:15
Speaker 1: And part of the mission and the reason that I
• 2:17
Speaker 1: have a radio show is to become a share of
• 2:22
Speaker 1: more and more of a shareff You know. I used
• 2:25
Speaker 1: to hearing my mother say it to me all the time.
• 2:27
Speaker 1: But God blesses you to become a blessing. And I
• 2:31
Speaker 1: think the more you understand that about yourself, I think
• 2:33
Speaker 1: the more blessings will flow your way. I think that
• 2:36
Speaker 1: once you understand the principle that you know. But it's
• 2:42
Speaker 1: kind of tied together with some other scriptures and I'm
• 2:44
Speaker 1: not too knowledgeable about them, of course, as usual, but
• 2:48
Speaker 1: I do know what I've heard. You know, and you know,
• 2:51
Speaker 1: if you look at something simple as do unto others
• 2:54
Speaker 1: as you would have them do unto you, wouldn't you
• 2:57
Speaker 1: want somebody to help you if you need it. I
• 3:01
Speaker 1: just know how to get it down there to where
• 3:04
Speaker 1: I've been able to understand it. If if there's a
• 3:07
Speaker 1: scripture similar that it says do unto others as you
• 3:11
Speaker 1: would have them do unto you, or if that's you know,
• 3:16
Speaker 1: in a prayer, would not you want somebody to help
• 3:20
Speaker 1: you if you needed help? You've heard you reap what
• 3:26
Speaker 1: you sow. Do you understand that if you so discord,
• 3:32
Speaker 1: that discord is gonna come your way. That if you hate,
• 3:37
Speaker 1: hate gonna come your way. If you blog nothing but
• 3:40
Speaker 1: negative comments about people, your life will be filled with negativity.
• 3:45
Speaker 1: If all you do is talk about people, then guess
• 3:48
Speaker 1: what somebody got to turn that gun around and talk
• 3:50
Speaker 1: about you. See, it just stands to reasons. So what
• 3:56
Speaker 1: I've learned in my life and through all the trials
• 3:59
Speaker 1: and relations that I've had, is to take those lessons
• 4:04
Speaker 1: and share them with people. In case you ain't heard
• 4:07
Speaker 1: it from somebody else. See sometimes, and the reason it
• 4:11
Speaker 1: seems like I'm redundant at times is what I am
• 4:15
Speaker 1: is because I'm always trying to find a different way
• 4:18
Speaker 1: to say the same thing. Because it's a funny thing. Man,
• 4:22
Speaker 1: You got to hear it a certain way for it
• 4:24
Speaker 1: to click with you. How many times have I heard
• 4:29
Speaker 1: a saying and then I heard it a different way
• 4:34
Speaker 1: that it clicked with me? You know, I've heard of
• 4:38
Speaker 1: this saying right here, remember this now, everybody's not happy
• 4:42
Speaker 1: for you. We've all heard that, right, everybody's not happy
• 4:46
Speaker 1: for you. Well, that's very simple that I don't need
• 4:50
Speaker 1: no explanation. That simply means of all the people you
• 4:54
Speaker 1: know or do not know, when something happens to you
• 4:58
Speaker 1: and you celebrating it, everybody's not going to join in
• 5:01
Speaker 1: on the celebration. That's all that is. But then you
• 5:05
Speaker 1: take it one step further. My father used to say
• 5:07
Speaker 1: something to me all the time. He says, son, everybody
• 5:10
Speaker 1: come with you, can't go with you. I didn't get
• 5:12
Speaker 1: that when I was fifteen. Everybody come with you can't
• 5:15
Speaker 1: go with you. He said, you're gonna lose some of
• 5:17
Speaker 1: these friends you got along the way. But I don't
• 5:20
Speaker 1: care where you get in life. No, this right here,
• 5:24
Speaker 1: everybody can't go with you. If you are constantly trying
• 5:27
Speaker 1: to improve yourself, you constantly have to take assessment of
• 5:31
Speaker 1: the people around you. Because if you are going to
• 5:34
Speaker 1: continue to go and continue to grow, then guess what
• 5:38
Speaker 1: you got to have people that's on the goal and
• 5:40
Speaker 1: willing to grow, or else guess what you're gonna learn?
• 5:46
Speaker 1: The valuable lesson. You know, the late boxing promoter Butch Lewis.
• 5:51
Speaker 1: I was talking with Butch Lewis one time, and man
• 5:54
Speaker 1: with a good brother man, he say, every successful man,
• 5:58
Speaker 1: it's doing what I call he got rope work to do.
• 6:02
Speaker 1: He got rope work to do. He got to put
• 6:05
Speaker 1: in work on rope. And I'm sitting there listening to
• 6:08
Speaker 1: Butch Lewis and all the money he had made and
• 6:11
Speaker 1: all the people's lives he had changed, and all of
• 6:13
Speaker 1: the moves he was making, and his incredible skills as
• 6:16
Speaker 1: a negotiator on behalf of some very very wealthy people.
• 6:19
Speaker 1: He was just an amazing man with no education. But
• 6:23
Speaker 1: he read everything. He butch Lewis read all that, all
• 6:26
Speaker 1: the papers, all the periodicals. That brother knew everything. He said,
• 6:31
Speaker 1: you got to put in rope, and I was sitting
• 6:33
Speaker 1: there listening. He said, here's the analogy, little brother. He said,
• 6:37
Speaker 1: you are on rope. There's a thick rope. You have
• 6:41
Speaker 1: on no shirt, you have on some tattered clothes. You
• 6:45
Speaker 1: have on no shoes. Your shorts is cut off just
• 6:48
Speaker 1: below the knee, and they tattered, and you got dirt
• 6:51
Speaker 1: on you and you're sweating. There's this huge, huge raw
• 6:55
Speaker 1: rope over your shoulder that's burn marks on all of
• 6:59
Speaker 1: your shoulder. Connected to that rope is a wagon. That
• 7:03
Speaker 1: wagon has all your weight on it, all your responsibilities,
• 7:08
Speaker 1: all the people you're responsible for, all your children, your wife,
• 7:13
Speaker 1: your family members, your employees, your coworkers, your friends. They
• 7:18
Speaker 1: all on that wagon. Man, they're just sitting there. He's saying,
• 7:22
Speaker 1: what you gotta do is you gotta pull that wagon
• 7:25
Speaker 1: up the heel. Now. The only thing with it is,
• 7:27
Speaker 1: can't nobody help you pull your wagon? You pull your
• 7:31
Speaker 1: wagon alone. He saying, Now, what you can do along
• 7:35
Speaker 1: the way of pulling your wagon, as you can find
• 7:37
Speaker 1: yourself a good wife, a good woman. He's saying that
• 7:41
Speaker 1: what that woman does is she get down off the wagon.
• 7:44
Speaker 1: She fan you while you pull it. She put water
• 7:47
Speaker 1: on you while you pull it. She put stuff in
• 7:49
Speaker 1: your mouth while you pull it. She kicked rocks out
• 7:52
Speaker 1: the way while you pull it. But she but she
• 7:54
Speaker 1: pull it for you. But she is equally as important
• 7:57
Speaker 1: as you are on the pull of the rope. He said,
• 8:00
Speaker 1: you hear me clearly now, young soldier. He said, NA
• 8:03
Speaker 1: get this hell. He says, people on your wagon that
• 8:06
Speaker 1: you're responsible for. But you want the people on your
• 8:09
Speaker 1: wagon to help you get your wagon to the top.
• 8:12
Speaker 1: So what you hope is that they got their foot
• 8:15
Speaker 1: hanging over the side pushing, They got one leg over
• 8:19
Speaker 1: the back, or maybe both legs over the back pushing.
• 8:22
Speaker 1: They got they might have their butt on the wagon,
• 8:24
Speaker 1: but they push you with both legs. They're back facing
• 8:27
Speaker 1: your back, maybe some of them facing you when one
• 8:29
Speaker 1: of them got left leg hanging over trying to push.
• 8:32
Speaker 1: And you hope that all the people on the wagon
• 8:35
Speaker 1: you pulling is back there, at least trying to help
• 8:38
Speaker 1: the wagon get to the top of the hill. Here
• 8:40
Speaker 1: goes your problem. Though everybody ain't pushing, everybody ain't pulling,
• 8:44
Speaker 1: ain't bar everybody ain't pulling, Everybody ain't kicking rocks out
• 8:48
Speaker 1: the way. You got some people on your wagon that's
• 8:50
Speaker 1: just laying on the wagon, drinking lemonade, looking at you,
• 8:55
Speaker 1: talking about how long it's taking you to get your
• 8:58
Speaker 1: wagon up to the top, looking at you, you telling
• 9:00
Speaker 1: my whitest wagon, so slow. Then when you start picking
• 9:03
Speaker 1: up picking up speed, they want you to pull harder,
• 9:06
Speaker 1: you to pull faster, you to pull mole. Then they
• 9:10
Speaker 1: want you to throw what you then earned on the
• 9:12
Speaker 1: way up the hill backed on the wagon so they
• 9:14
Speaker 1: can have MO. But guess what, they ain't helping you
• 9:16
Speaker 1: get more. But they got a sense of entitlement that
• 9:19
Speaker 1: since you got mold, they should have MO. Everybody come
• 9:23
Speaker 1: with you can't go with you. Sometimes you gotta kick
• 9:26
Speaker 1: the people off the wagon that ain't pushing and pull
• 9:29
Speaker 1: it and say, hey man, I'm sorry. I thought I
• 9:32
Speaker 1: could do this with you, and I thought you was
• 9:34
Speaker 1: going with me. But it's clear to me you ain't
• 9:36
Speaker 1: nothing but dead weight, and it ain't my responsibility to
• 9:39
Speaker 1: carry dead weight anymore. I have carried you as long
• 9:42
Speaker 1: as I have to carry you. You are no longer
• 9:45
Speaker 1: my responsibility. I'm responsible for my family, my wife, my children.
• 9:49
Speaker 1: I'm not responsible for you. You got to get off
• 9:52
Speaker 1: my wagon because I'm a man on rope. I'm on
• 9:54
Speaker 1: a mission. Baby, I'm pulling. You're listening. Ladies and gentlemen, man,
• 10:02
Speaker 1: have your undivided attention. Please hear ye, hear ye, all rise.

• 11:03
Speaker 1: We say it again, see and it's a wonderful thing.
• 11:07
Speaker 1: When you get a promotion in life that you gave

• 11:16
Speaker 1: know there was no voting. Yeah, there was no voting.
• 11:20
Speaker 1: You didn't take it, you know, before the board and

Speaker 1: up here and get two people of chicken. Hits up
• 26:52
Speaker 1: to you. But either way, coming up here, what you
• 26:54
Speaker 1: want to do, I'm gonna send somebody else up there
• 26:56
Speaker 1: to get the chicken? Man. Okay, Oh you're gonna stand
• 26:58
Speaker 1: up here, howny coming to get tim Me? Who what's
• 27:01
Speaker 1: the lame THEO got to get information camp? What's the name?
• 27:05
Speaker 1: Time me? Man? Nephew Timmy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
• 27:14
Speaker 1: What's the hell you to say? A week? Why ain't
• 27:18
Speaker 1: this a nephew Timmy from the Stee Harvey Morning Man?
• 27:24
Speaker 1: This is someone man, You got to ask somebody. Yeah,
• 27:30
Speaker 1: what bro, what's wants something to do with all the chicken? Though?
• 27:35
Speaker 1: Why an't your cousin Man, you got a coming that
• 27:37
Speaker 1: according uh that dirty y'all cook all the chicken, man,
• 27:43
Speaker 1: then we cook the harm they take over the same way.
• 27:45
Speaker 1: This is what I'm doing, man on my hand for
• 27:47
Speaker 1: the nephew, Timmy, I'm gonna give my credit card and
• 27:50
Speaker 1: we're gonna donate chicken all day. Man. You see some
• 27:53
Speaker 1: homeless people or whatever, you just pass out to check up,
• 27:55
Speaker 1: and we're gonna getting paid for it. Right now, wash yeah,
• 28:03
Speaker 1: right now. Anyway, one more thing, man, once the badest that,
• 28:09
Speaker 1: I mean, the baddest radio show in the lay Manning
• 28:18
Speaker 1: Man and Man Man repass chicken, alright, you some repass?
• 28:24
Speaker 1: All right, thank you, nephew. Coming up at the top
• 28:26
Speaker 1: of the hour, entertainment and national news right after this,
• 28:30
Speaker 1: you're listening to morning show. Celebrities joined Kim Kardashian West
• 28:38
Speaker 1: to stop Ridney Read's execution. Rihanna has gotten on board.
• 28:42
Speaker 1: L O Cool, J, Gigi Hadid, Ti Quest, Love, Meek Mill,
• 28:46
Speaker 1: Isaiah Washington, Reggie Bush, and others have joined Kim Kardashian's
• 28:52
Speaker 1: West and her efforts to stop Ritney Reads execution. Writney Read,
• 28:56
Speaker 1: if you recall as the Texas inmate, he spent over
• 28:59
Speaker 1: twenty one years on death row for the nineteen ninety
• 29:02
Speaker 1: six murder of Stacy Stiles. He has insisted on his
• 29:06
Speaker 1: innocence the entire time, and a former inmate filed in
• 29:10
Speaker 1: affidavit in court saying that Stile's fiance confessed the murder
• 29:14
Speaker 1: to him years ago for the record. The fiance's attorney
• 29:18
Speaker 1: disputes the credibility of the claim. According to the Innocence Project,
• 29:22
Speaker 1: there are several weaknesses in Reed's case. For one, and
• 29:26
Speaker 1: all white jury convicted the black man. Also, the murder
• 29:30
Speaker 1: weapon hasn't been tested for DNA evidence, and the forensic
• 29:34
Speaker 1: experts have admitted to errors in their testimony. Still, Read's
• 29:38
Speaker 1: execution is scheduled for November twentieth. We must come together
• 29:43
Speaker 1: to prevent a gross injustice, actress Yarrashihidi tweeted, along with
• 29:48
Speaker 1: a link to an online petition against the execution. Rihanna
• 29:52
Speaker 1: also tagged Governor Greg Abbott. Meanwhile, Kim has gone a
• 29:57
Speaker 1: step further and tweeted Governor Abbott directly, how can you
• 30:00
Speaker 1: execute a man who when since his trial substantial evidence
• 30:05
Speaker 1: that would exonerate Rotney Reid has come forward and even
• 30:08
Speaker 1: implicates the other person of interest. She asked. She added,
• 30:13
Speaker 1: I urge you to do the right thing. So far,
• 30:17
Speaker 1: Abbott hasn't responded. Wow. Yeah, Wow. So Abbott is the governor. Yeah,
• 30:25
Speaker 1: he's the governor of excuse me, of Texas, Steve Yeah. Yeah,
• 30:33
Speaker 1: and they've reached out to him and no response from response.
• 30:39
Speaker 1: I think what Kim Kardashian is doing is absolutely, very
• 30:45
Speaker 1: very real, you know, and should be commended for the
• 30:48
Speaker 1: work that she's putting forth on behalf of prison rights
• 30:52
Speaker 1: and and and reform. Getting the prison reform bill passed.
• 30:57
Speaker 1: She was really really instrumental in that. So I think
• 31:00
Speaker 1: people should give her a round of applause for that.
• 31:02
Speaker 1: That's that's some great work. Absolutely, And uh, this is
• 31:07
Speaker 1: a hard one too because the execution date again is
• 31:10
Speaker 1: November twentieth, so someone has to do something pretty quickly,
• 31:14
Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, and innocent man, No no response, not
• 31:19
Speaker 1: not yet so far. Yeah, you know, hopefully with this
• 31:23
Speaker 1: pressure and celebrities on board and other social justice you know,
• 31:29
Speaker 1: organizations and the petition that yeah, he will give it
• 31:33
Speaker 1: another looking, you know, stay of execution and not execute
• 31:37
Speaker 1: this man who seems to be innocent. Are you're gonna
• 31:42
Speaker 1: kill an innocent man? Yeah? And with evidence before you
• 31:46
Speaker 1: that says he's as innocent, that proves he's in it.
• 31:49
Speaker 1: I mean, you know for all of us, of course
• 31:51
Speaker 1: this sounds so yes, this is wow a simple thing
• 31:58
Speaker 1: right here. Again, when you're dealing with a prosecutor who
• 32:03
Speaker 1: builds his record on convictions and it's not willing to
• 32:07
Speaker 1: overturn one of his victories. When you have to drum
• 32:12
Speaker 1: up the all white jury to start polling them how
• 32:16
Speaker 1: they felt, you know, you dig you started digging up.
• 32:19
Speaker 1: People got to deal with who they are and what
• 32:21
Speaker 1: they've done. And a lot of these cases don't get overturned,
• 32:24
Speaker 1: but it isn't. We should constantly try because if you
• 32:30
Speaker 1: look throughout history, there have been hundreds, if not thousands,
• 32:35
Speaker 1: of men murdered on death row and it was not
• 32:39
Speaker 1: the case. It was not the case, and it happens
• 32:43
Speaker 1: all the time. And because DNA is different now, you know,
• 32:46
Speaker 1: they should always be allowed to introduce the DNA evidence
• 32:49
Speaker 1: of today that wasn't available back then when these convictions
• 32:52
Speaker 1: were made, because it can make all the difference in
• 32:55
Speaker 1: the world, and for them even not to look at it.
• 32:57
Speaker 1: It's just them holding steadfast the thing that this prosecuting
• 33:02
Speaker 1: unit got a victory and a conviction and they're not
• 33:05
Speaker 1: willing to give it back. They're not willing to admit
• 33:08
Speaker 1: to a mistake or even come across the Oh doggy,
• 33:12
Speaker 1: oh doggy. You got two things to play, Tommy. The
• 33:15
Speaker 1: prosecutor doesn't want to give back a victory, and then
• 33:19
Speaker 1: the prosecutor doesn't want to admit that they convicted a
• 33:22
Speaker 1: wrong the wrong person man. Yeah, so true, so true.
• 33:26
Speaker 1: You see it all the time, the freed brother brother, Tommy,
• 33:37
Speaker 1: We'll had this man's life gone before they be wrong, right, right,
• 33:42
Speaker 1: and they got twenty one years out of it. Yeah.
• 33:45
Speaker 1: You see this sort of thing, Steve, all the time
• 33:47
Speaker 1: in the movies. But this is real life. You know,
• 33:50
Speaker 1: this is this man's life. And we're talking November twentieth.
• 33:53
Speaker 1: In a couple of weeks. You know something, we need
• 33:56
Speaker 1: to hear something and Steve the article as we talk
• 34:01
Speaker 1: about it. Steve, and you are absolutely right about the
• 34:05
Speaker 1: DNA testing. You know, Rodney Reid and his team are
• 34:08
Speaker 1: are asking for further DNA testing that was not available
• 34:12
Speaker 1: in the nineties. It's just like you said, and they
• 34:15
Speaker 1: are not willing to do that at this point. You know,
• 34:19
Speaker 1: while for the prison system, for the prison system to
• 34:23
Speaker 1: have the tech technology available and to not use it
• 34:28
Speaker 1: in these cases of anyone who's convicted of life death row,
• 34:34
Speaker 1: who's convicted of fifteen twenty eight years, if there's new
• 34:38
Speaker 1: DNA that can clear this person, it ought to be
• 34:41
Speaker 1: brought up. But guess what, the judicial system is overcrowded
• 34:45
Speaker 1: and packed with cases, and they're not about to take
• 34:48
Speaker 1: the time to go back and do well, it's already
• 34:50
Speaker 1: been decided. A great state of taxes has decided that
• 34:54
Speaker 1: he's a convicted fallonist what he is, and you can
• 34:58
Speaker 1: want to go, like Kim Kardashian said, how can you
• 35:01
Speaker 1: execute a man when since his trial, substantial evidence that
• 35:05
Speaker 1: would exonerate him has come forward and even implicates the
• 35:08
Speaker 1: other person of interest? All right, coming up at twenty
• 35:13
Speaker 1: minutes after the hour trending news. We'll be back right
• 35:16
Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show. Donations have poured in
• 35:22
Speaker 1: for a memorial dedicated to Emmett Till in Mississippi. This
• 35:26
Speaker 1: is after white supremacists were caught filming a propaganda video
• 35:30
Speaker 1: in front of the monument over the weekend. There are
• 35:33
Speaker 1: eight people in the video, and two women are shown
• 35:36
Speaker 1: filming while two men hold up a neo Confederate flag.
• 35:41
Speaker 1: One of the flags appeared to belong to the League
• 35:43
Speaker 1: of the South, a hate group that advocates for white
• 35:46
Speaker 1: dominated independent South, according to the Anti Defamation League. In
• 35:51
Speaker 1: the footage, a man is overheard saying, we all are here.
• 35:56
Speaker 1: We are all here at the Emmett till any that
• 36:00
Speaker 1: represents the civil rights movement for blacks. What we want
• 36:04
Speaker 1: to know is where are all of the white people. Okay,
• 36:11
Speaker 1: the stupid people. When they talk out loud, they sound
• 36:14
Speaker 1: really stupid. Here's a deal. If you want to be
• 36:18
Speaker 1: supreme because of the color of your skin, then first
• 36:21
Speaker 1: of all, act like it. And then secondly, it cannot
• 36:25
Speaker 1: be an expense at the expense of people who are
• 36:27
Speaker 1: non white. So I'm not talking to white people. I'm
• 36:31
Speaker 1: talking to white supremes. If you're supreme, act like it.
• 36:35
Speaker 1: Number two, it cannot be an expense of somebody else.
• 36:39
Speaker 1: Just go do supreme stuff. But the problem is, you
• 36:42
Speaker 1: little hit ass, heell billy. You ain't got nothing going
• 36:45
Speaker 1: on for yourself, and now you're trying to find a
• 36:47
Speaker 1: way to desecrate something else to make yourself look better, man,
• 36:51
Speaker 1: miss me please? Yeah now, this is according to CBS News.
• 36:56
Speaker 1: Patrick Weem's executive director at the Emmett Till Memorial Commission,
• 37:01
Speaker 1: announced the nonprofit has received more than ten thousand dollars
• 37:04
Speaker 1: since the incident on Saturday, and donations received will go
• 37:08
Speaker 1: toward the Emmett Till Memory Project. The funds will help
• 37:12
Speaker 1: create a permanent memorial. Wow. Yeah, well and has been vandalized. Beandalized. Yeah, yeah,
• 37:22
Speaker 1: you know, gun shot, gunshots, all of that. Much hate,
• 37:27
Speaker 1: just so much, right, tommy. Yeah. But you know what though,
• 37:32
Speaker 1: and I have to tell the day this, this has
• 37:37
Speaker 1: a lot to do. This disurge and hate crimes and stuff,
• 37:42
Speaker 1: has a lot to do with the climate that's in
• 37:45
Speaker 1: our country today. And I think that that has a
• 37:48
Speaker 1: lot to do. You can tie it directly too this
• 37:52
Speaker 1: new administration. Lock him up, get him out of here,
• 37:55
Speaker 1: arrest him, throw them out, you know not. Look, man,
• 38:01
Speaker 1: it was a big, a big boost for them when
• 38:06
Speaker 1: the President said there's good people on both sides. That
• 38:10
Speaker 1: was a big boost for these people that's all identify
• 38:14
Speaker 1: with him kind and kind of started it. Yeah too, Yeah,
• 38:18
Speaker 1: all right, coming up at thirty four after the hour,
• 38:20
Speaker 1: Are you afraid to change things up in your life?
• 38:22
Speaker 1: We're going to talk about it right after this. You're
• 38:25
Speaker 1: listening to show. Sometimes it's really hard to break out
• 38:31
Speaker 1: of your old routine. We know that. For example, maybe
• 38:34
Speaker 1: you've had the same haircut or style for years and
• 38:38
Speaker 1: it looks good on you and everyone likes it, so
• 38:40
Speaker 1: you don't change it. But maybe you should. Maybe you
• 38:44
Speaker 1: should try something new. How about your choice of cars
• 38:48
Speaker 1: or movies or people you date. Maybe try something new
• 38:52
Speaker 1: and that will change your life for the better. Even
• 38:54
Speaker 1: if it doesn't, you can always go back to your
• 38:56
Speaker 1: old routine. So Steve, we're gonna start with you as
• 39:00
Speaker 1: we always do. What things in your life are you
• 39:03
Speaker 1: afraid to change up? Or has changing your life routine
• 39:07
Speaker 1: made things better or worse for you? I ain't afraid
• 39:10
Speaker 1: to change nothing in my life. Matter of fact, if
• 39:12
Speaker 1: I could change one thing that might give my life
• 39:16
Speaker 1: a jump or boosted in another direction, yeah, I probably
• 39:20
Speaker 1: get a perm All right, what are you gonna permit
• 39:26
Speaker 1: your mustache? What you know? You know, you know, you know,
• 39:30
Speaker 1: you know, grow with a little bit of half back,
• 39:32
Speaker 1: I can and then permit let it be sling, you
• 39:38
Speaker 1: know all I'm saying, just whatever can, I'm gonna let
• 39:41
Speaker 1: it come home and then just permit, you know, kind
• 39:45
Speaker 1: of kind of be like a you know, a little
• 39:48
Speaker 1: baby ass shop. I thought you gotta go deep on it. Yeah, yeah, well,
• 39:57
Speaker 1: I mean on on the real tip. There's nothing in
• 40:02
Speaker 1: my life I can change now. Am I doing things
• 40:05
Speaker 1: to get better? Of course I am. I'm trying to
• 40:08
Speaker 1: improve my spirituality. That's my number one focus right now.
• 40:12
Speaker 1: He's been trying to improve. Yeah, oh absolutely, that's my
• 40:16
Speaker 1: number one focus above anything else. As it's improving my
• 40:20
Speaker 1: spirituality as a person. That's my number one goal right now.
• 40:25
Speaker 1: And and other than that, I can't change nothing. You know. Well,
• 40:30
Speaker 1: you know I changed my hair all this year down hey,
• 40:42
Speaker 1: I wanted to do things differently. I like change. It
• 40:46
Speaker 1: was fun and it was fun. I felt good. It
• 40:48
Speaker 1: was because you ain't got no where left for green?
• 40:52
Speaker 1: You did blue, pink, yellow? No, I didn't do yellow.
• 40:55
Speaker 1: I did platinum green. You say I've been considering it
• 41:00
Speaker 1: to block him? What? What's this crayon box? Look for them?
• 41:03
Speaker 1: What is that? I like? That's who I really am.
• 41:07
Speaker 1: I like it. I like colors. I like change in
• 41:10
Speaker 1: my hair. I really tell me, what would you change?
• 41:12
Speaker 1: Just gold cold to get in my phone? Excuse change it?
• 41:22
Speaker 1: I tried. Yeah, let me just ye, you're married now
• 41:29
Speaker 1: you still have Let me at least have my phone.
• 41:33
Speaker 1: Let me have that, let me hold on, Steve. Doesn't
• 41:37
Speaker 1: Marjorie have your code? You've said that it several times
• 41:39
Speaker 1: on the show. Yeah, I excuse me why you got
• 41:49
Speaker 1: your code on your phone? Did tell me say it
• 41:52
Speaker 1: with your ignity? What the hell does that? What does Dan?
• 42:00
Speaker 1: What's the big you need? Comment? Tommy? Huh, Tommy, my
• 42:05
Speaker 1: kids can grab my phone. I don't care. What what? What?
• 42:11
Speaker 1: What is that so bad? Tommy? What is that so terrible?
• 42:16
Speaker 1: I don't understand. In some homes in America, do you
• 42:21
Speaker 1: still take your phone in the shower with you? How
• 42:25
Speaker 1: do you do that? Yeah? Tommy got his phone in
• 42:29
Speaker 1: a shower like soap, on a rope the water. He
• 42:36
Speaker 1: got his phone in a zip lock around day watching
• 42:42
Speaker 1: all abundance. Just waiting on a call, baby, I'm just
• 42:47
Speaker 1: waiting on a call. That Wow, that's amazing. So that
• 42:51
Speaker 1: would make your your life better if you change your code,
• 42:55
Speaker 1: that would make your lives better. Periodically. I just had to.
• 42:58
Speaker 1: I just got to remember it all right. We'll post
• 42:59
Speaker 1: your comments on Steve Harvey FM, Instagram and Facebook. Coming up,
• 43:03
Speaker 1: nephew is here with his prank phone call. Right after this.
• 43:06
Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at
• 43:10
Speaker 1: the top of the hour, right about four minutes after.
• 43:13
Speaker 1: It's my strawberry letter for today, the subject will he
• 43:16
Speaker 1: leave her for me or not? Right now? Though, the
• 43:21
Speaker 1: nephew in the building with today's prank phone call, what
• 43:23
Speaker 1: you got for his neff? Well, surely it comes a
• 43:26
Speaker 1: time where it is matrimony. Sometimes there was time for
• 43:32
Speaker 1: a wedding. You understand that it's a wedding. Well that,
• 43:38
Speaker 1: and then there are times in our lives where we
• 43:41
Speaker 1: have lost the loved one and end of this time
• 43:44
Speaker 1: for a funeral. But then it happens. Sometimes it happens
• 43:48
Speaker 1: on the same day inside the same church, ladies and gentlemen,
• 43:52
  Speaker 1: a wedding and a few I know it's a wedding.
• 43:58
Speaker 1: And what did you hit here? What now? I didn't
• 44:02
Speaker 1: hear at that time? Wow? Whading at a funeral? Let's
• 44:07
Speaker 1: go get hell wing on the funeral. Hello, Ryan, Hi,
• 44:13
Speaker 1: I'm trying to Ryan, Ryan. How are you doing. Hey,
• 44:16
Speaker 1: I'm good. I'm a second. This is Josh. Josh was
• 44:18
Speaker 1: over at the I want to be officials at the
• 44:20
Speaker 1: church where you guys are getting married tomorrow. Yeah, yeah,
• 44:24
Speaker 1: how are you doing? Man? They want to thank y'all
• 44:25
Speaker 1: for that too, man, we'll appreciate it. Sure. Yeah. Well,
• 44:28
Speaker 1: we definitely hope to make you a member here soon
• 44:30
Speaker 1: or later since you guys are getting married. You know, hey, man,
• 44:34
Speaker 1: you know I'm trying to get this worst schedule changed up.
• 44:36
Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. They got me working on
• 44:37
Speaker 1: Sundays now, man, So soon as I tweaked at the
• 44:40
Speaker 1: mood that around a little bit, I'll be there. Okay, listen,
• 44:42
Speaker 1: we have a bit of a situation that has come up.
• 44:45
Speaker 1: We had some problems and miscommunication and it's definitely been
• 44:49
Speaker 1: on the outside. They had your name Ryan down here
• 44:52
Speaker 1: with your phone number as well as you're soon to
• 44:55
Speaker 1: be wife Sonya. They had her name here, but we
• 44:58
Speaker 1: didn't want to call her with this. We wanted to
• 45:00
Speaker 1: just reach out and talk to you and see. It
• 45:02
Speaker 1: just makes you aware of what's going on. Okay, What's
• 45:05
Speaker 1: what's going on? Man? There's been a mix up on scheduling.
• 45:08
Speaker 1: I don't know if you know such the older make
• 45:11
Speaker 1: she passed away a week ago, and you're not you're
• 45:14
Speaker 1: not a member of the church, so you wouldn't know it.
• 45:16
Speaker 1: But she's one of the one of the oldest members
• 45:18
Speaker 1: here at the church. Just the older maid passed away.
• 45:21
Speaker 1: And what's going on? Is you all's wedding is tomorrow
• 45:25
Speaker 1: at twelve o'clock, right, but the actual funeral is at
• 45:31
Speaker 1: three o'clock here at the church. Okay, uh, but shame beginning,
• 45:36
Speaker 1: Brother Wood, Josh, Josh, Okay, look here, brother Josh, um Hey, man,
• 45:41
Speaker 1: we we we already got this thing in motion. Man,
• 45:43
Speaker 1: we didn't stand out. They have been a two hundred differentations. Man,
• 45:47
Speaker 1: I mean blessed and and and I understand that, but
• 45:51
Speaker 1: but but I mean, you know, she's There's no way
• 45:54
Speaker 1: we could have moved it around down. The biggest problem
• 45:56
Speaker 1: the funeral home is bringing the casket first thing in
• 46:00
Speaker 1: the morning. So what I want, what I wanted to
• 46:02
Speaker 1: make you aware of. And I didn't want you to
• 46:03
Speaker 1: tell your wife this, but the actual casket will be
• 46:06
Speaker 1: in the Saint Rare, but we will have it. Old,
• 46:09
Speaker 1: Hold hold on, man, are you serious? I look at
• 46:12
Speaker 1: the man y'all need to move this round. I don't
• 46:14
Speaker 1: know what y'all gonna do. Y'all have a fellish of
• 46:16
Speaker 1: pall in the back or something like that. We ryan
• 46:20
Speaker 1: the only place we can actually put the casket, and
• 46:23
Speaker 1: if we didn't put it there is in the actual
• 46:24
Speaker 1: room that you'll you'll soon to be wife would be
• 46:27
Speaker 1: changing in. That's the only place you wifetually changing the
• 46:31
Speaker 1: room when the dead body. But you can't even what
• 46:34
Speaker 1: and you know what, I understood that that's the first
• 46:37
  Speaker 1: thing I thought of, and I thought, I said, let's
• 46:38
Speaker 1: still put the casket the way it goes for the
• 46:40
Speaker 1: fee of them, and we're gonna cover it up and
• 46:43
Speaker 1: see basically, you actually get it, Wi, But I can't
• 46:47
Speaker 1: even believe you call on me? Would did the man
• 46:49
Speaker 1: look at it? And excuse my french man? Yeah, I
• 46:52
Speaker 1: knew I need to get back in the church, I
• 46:53
Speaker 1: really do. But right now, Doug, this ain't going down
• 46:56
Speaker 1: like this man. We didn't already paid the money. And
• 46:58
Speaker 1: first first, first of all, first of all, you know
• 47:02
Speaker 1: she I don't even feel like she may had to pay,
• 47:05
Speaker 1: you know, to hold no wedding over at hunt Hurt
• 47:07
Speaker 1: where she paid times at that's that's the first thing.
• 47:10
Speaker 1: You know. I ain't like that from the jumping. But
• 47:11
Speaker 1: I wouldn't hear when women because she wants her pasta
• 47:14
Speaker 1: to marry us. And now you got to nerd to
• 47:16
Speaker 1: tell me that y'all will arrange something. That funeral gonna
• 47:19
Speaker 1: happen the same day as my wedding, and my wife's
• 47:21
Speaker 1: got to get dressed in the room with a dead body. Well, no,
• 47:24
Speaker 1: we're not gonna put her in there. Bro was like
• 47:26
Speaker 1: I said, I'm putting that body first thing in the morning.
• 47:29
Speaker 1: I'm gonna put that body in the right there in
• 47:31
Speaker 1: front of the fullpit, and we're gonna cover it. Now,
• 47:35
Speaker 1: what you're getting out of is you get more flowers,
• 47:37
Speaker 1: because there's gonna be flowers from the funeral. So I'm
• 47:40
Speaker 1: thinking that's probably gonna be a little bit of a
• 47:42
Speaker 1: person point. I just wanted you to be on. Its
• 47:45
Speaker 1: probably gonna be more people than you think because some
• 47:48
Speaker 1: of the people that's gonna be at your wed and
• 47:49
Speaker 1: it's really for the funeral. A whold of man, Are
• 47:52
Speaker 1: you serious? Fright? I look at doctor. I didn't paid
• 47:56
Speaker 1: for the wedding happened at this church, man, Okay, ain't
• 48:00
Speaker 1: in no disrespect to the lady that has passed, called
• 48:02
Speaker 1: blessed her family. I ain't planning to not putting the
• 48:06
Speaker 1: dead body having a funeral as my wedding. Man. That's crazy.
• 48:12
Speaker 1: Down on the church too, sir. She's a member of
• 48:14
  Speaker 1: the church too. Hey, I don't give it. I don't
• 48:16
Speaker 1: be no member of the church. Man. I've been paid
• 48:18
Speaker 1: for this wind and it's gonna happen tomorrow. Man, you
• 48:21
Speaker 1: buy six and of putting the dead body at my wedding,
• 48:29
Speaker 1: run run. I mean no disrespect, but the woman has passed.
• 48:33
Speaker 1: She is not gonna get up. I mean, what does
• 48:35
Speaker 1: the pount. The problem is your called me with this
• 48:38
Speaker 1: man the day before my wed and we didn't schedule.
• 48:40
Speaker 1: And there six months ago. I got to film twenty
• 48:42
Speaker 1: five thirty thousand dollars on this wid okay, and you're
• 48:45
Speaker 1: gonna tell me that we got to share our win
• 48:47
Speaker 1: with a funeral. But the Hillers won't with you. Man,
• 48:50
Speaker 1: something do you want to have your winning at this church?
• 48:53
Speaker 1: I'll pay for them. And what you mean want, I'm
• 48:56
Speaker 1: having the wedding. Okay. I'll tell you what. Lift the
• 48:58
Speaker 1: boy the BP in the mart I wrote in the
• 49:00
Speaker 1: street playing y'all just scot thing the front and and
• 49:03
Speaker 1: and throw flowers like throwing rice. But we're gonna have
• 49:06
Speaker 1: a win inside the same year tomorrow. I promise you
• 49:09
Speaker 1: that I care. I care, not assure you that it
• 49:11
Speaker 1: won't be. I am no other place to put the body. Okay,
• 49:15
Speaker 1: well I'll bet y'all find someone to put it. If
• 49:17
Speaker 1: I get that to mark, it's about it in there.
• 49:19
Speaker 1: There's gonna be a couple of about it in the name.
• 49:21
Speaker 1: You got two choices to move that funeral or to
• 49:24
Speaker 1: reimburse me back this thirty thousand dollars out of an
• 49:26
Speaker 1: hour to spend those only two choices. I want to
• 49:28
Speaker 1: hear about it. Meet me at the front door to
• 49:30
Speaker 1: night with a thirty thousand dollars cash er chick always
• 49:33
Speaker 1: say to have his winning up and that to morrow morning.
• 49:35
Speaker 1: You heard me. I ain't playing. I ain't playing at all.
• 49:38
Speaker 1: No jokes. That's wrong with y'all. Man. You can do
• 49:41
Speaker 1: something else. I understand that. Nothing I don't want to
• 49:45
Speaker 1: from you. Man. Now, all I'm saying is it's gonna
• 49:47
Speaker 1: be a winning at this church to morrow. Without saying
• 49:50
Speaker 1: dead about it. That's all I'm saying. Push it to
• 49:53
Speaker 1: the band man. There's there's one more a bit of
• 49:56
Speaker 1: an issue that I need to tell you. Also, what
• 49:58
Speaker 1: can be worse than a dead about it? Issue? Could
• 50:00
Speaker 1: be worse? I did, by the way, the man the issue, sir,
• 50:03
Speaker 1: that it is worse than the dead bodyls. This is
• 50:06

• 52:40
Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry letter. All right, thank you nephew.
• 52:43
Speaker 1: Subject will he leave her for me or not? Dear
• 52:47
Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. I've worked with a guy for over six years,
• 52:50
Speaker 1: and over time we became attracted to each other. We
• 52:53
Speaker 1: went out a few times and had several passionate kisses,
• 52:57
Speaker 1: but nothing more. He explained to me that he is
• 53:00
Speaker 1: in a dead end marriage for twenty years okay, and
• 53:04
Speaker 1: he lives in an apartment in the city and his
• 53:07
Speaker 1: wife lives in their house in the suburbs. I am
• 53:09
Speaker 1: divorced and my grown kids live with me. The married
• 53:12
Speaker 1: guy and I enjoy each other's company, but I told
• 53:15
Speaker 1: him we can have sex until he's divorced. He said
• 53:19
Speaker 1: he loves and respects me, so it's not a problem.
• 53:22
Speaker 1: We really want to be together. So he told his
• 53:24
Speaker 1: wife that it's over and she can stay in the
• 53:27
Speaker 1: home and the suburbs and they can split their assets.
• 53:29
Speaker 1: He told me that he needs time to dissolve his marriage,
• 53:32
Speaker 1: and he hopes that I can be patient and understanding.
• 53:35
Speaker 1: He explained to me that his wife has never worked,
• 53:38
Speaker 1: so it will be a drawn out legal battle over finances.
• 53:42
Speaker 1: We haven't seen each other much lately because he's back
• 53:45
Speaker 1: and forth to the suburbs to deal with his wife.
• 53:47
Speaker 1: He sent emotional texts text messages to me, and he
• 53:52
Speaker 1: details how special our little affair has been to him.
• 53:56
Speaker 1: But he also says that he is having a tough
• 53:58
Speaker 1: time with the divorce. He said he loves her, but
• 54:01
Speaker 1: he's not in love with her now. It's been a
• 54:04
Speaker 1: month since I've talked to him. He sends me texts
• 54:06
Speaker 1: to say he's thinking about me and hoping I can
• 54:09
Speaker 1: be patient. I know divorce can be tough because I've
• 54:12
Speaker 1: been through one. My intuition says he is back with
• 54:16
Speaker 1: his wife and we won't ever get together. He's in
• 54:20
Speaker 1: a different office now, so I don't even see him
• 54:23
Speaker 1: at work anymore. It seems like he's distancing himself from me.
• 54:27
Speaker 1: What do you guys think? Will he ever leave his
• 54:29
Speaker 1: wife to be with me? Please advise? I think what
• 54:32
Speaker 1: you think, and what you think is that you guys
• 54:35
Speaker 1: will never be together. That's what I think. He's back
• 54:39
Speaker 1: with his wife. I say, definitely. If you're filling it
• 54:42
Speaker 1: in your gut, you know the deal. Even before you
• 54:45
Speaker 1: wrote us, you know he's back. He's just texting you now.
• 54:48
Speaker 1: Before it was all hot and heavy without the sex,
• 54:51
Speaker 1: you know, those passionate kisses. None of that is going on.
• 54:54
Speaker 1: You don't even see him anymore. This is over, and
• 54:58
Speaker 1: that's how you should live your life like this is over.
• 55:02
Speaker 1: He's with his wife, he's over there in the suburb
• 55:06
Speaker 1: with her at the house and all of that. So
• 55:08
Speaker 1: I think you should just forget about him move on
• 55:11
Speaker 1: with your life, because it looks like he's forgotten about
• 55:14
Speaker 1: you and moved on with his life. Is now back
• 55:18
Speaker 1: with his wife. Steve Ah, Well, will he leave her
• 55:25
Speaker 1: for me or not? This Stephen Sirley, she's been working
• 55:30
Speaker 1: with this guy for six years, and over time they
• 55:32
Speaker 1: became attracted to each other. They went out a few
• 55:36
Speaker 1: times and had several passionate kisses, but nothing more. Hold up,
• 55:43
Speaker 1: we need to dig an explore this situation. We've had
• 55:51
Speaker 1: several passionate kisses, but nothing more. Well, anybody feeling anything,
• 56:02
Speaker 1: I'm feeling you think it's more had hard kissing, hard
• 56:10
Speaker 1: kissing a lot go with that. I'm I'm surprised nothing
• 56:18
Speaker 1: else has happened because you've been hard kissing, kissing hard
• 56:24
Speaker 1: brains about sudden things that we have to grapple and
• 56:29
Speaker 1: deal with, rassle and tussle with, talk to separate letters. Yeah,
• 56:37
  Speaker 1: it's hard kissing it. It's hard on a lot. It's
• 56:42
Speaker 1: hard to lay then kiss hard. It's hard to stand
• 56:45
Speaker 1: and kiss hard. It's hard to hug when you're kissing
• 56:49
Speaker 1: the hart, it's hard to push away when you kissing hard.
• 56:53
Speaker 1: I find it hard to believe that something else happened.
• 56:58
Speaker 1: And I think, what's happening is this lady now and
• 57:03
Speaker 1: this has been six years with this guy. Over time
• 57:07
Speaker 1: we became attracted to each other without a few times
• 57:10
Speaker 1: in that sense, so I think it's more to it.
• 57:12
Speaker 1: He explained to me he's in a dead end marriage
• 57:15
Speaker 1: for twenty years. Every dude say that that's married when
• 57:20
Speaker 1: they talking to achieved, every sick. Don't know, dude, open
• 57:25
Speaker 1: the conversation with you know what, I'm so happily married, man,
• 57:28
Speaker 1: this is wonderful. I'd just like to add you into
• 57:31
Speaker 1: the mix. Don't know, dude, open with that part of that.
• 57:36
  Speaker 1: That's the standard line. I'm in a dead e in
• 57:39
Speaker 1: marriage for twenty years now. He is. He lives in
• 57:42
Speaker 1: the department in the city and his wife lives in
• 57:44
Speaker 1: their house in the suburbs. Oh, then you ain't married,
• 57:47
Speaker 1: you separate, but but you don't. I don't hear you
• 57:51
Speaker 1: say that though I'm divorced. If my grown kids live
• 57:54
Speaker 1: with me, now here's the odd part. If he lives
• 57:57
Speaker 1: in apartment of the city and his wife lives in
• 57:59
Speaker 1: the house in the suburbs, U and he hasn't mentioned
• 58:02
Speaker 1: to you that he's separated, I'm gonna show you what
• 58:06
Speaker 1: that means a little bit later on divorcing. My grown
• 58:08
Speaker 1: kids live with me. The married guy and I enjoy
• 58:11
Speaker 1: each other's company, but I told him we can't have
• 58:13
Speaker 1: sex until he's divorced. He says he loves me and
• 58:16
Speaker 1: respects me, so it's not a problem. We really want
• 58:19
Speaker 1: to be together. So he told his wife that it's
• 58:22
Speaker 1: over and she can stay in the home in the
• 58:25
Speaker 1: suburbs and they can split their assets. She already staying
• 58:30
Speaker 1: in the house in the suburbs. He went in there
• 58:34
Speaker 1: and told his wife, what told this woman a damn thing,
• 58:46
Speaker 1: And walked in the house and told her about y'all
• 58:48
Speaker 1: what I've been looking. I've been down here at the
• 58:50
Speaker 1: office kissing real hall with this woman, and I think
• 58:53
Speaker 1: it's over between us, all right, Hang on, we'll have
• 59:04
Speaker 1: heard two of your response coming up with twenty three
• 59:07
Speaker 1: minutes after the hour right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve.
• 59:13
Speaker 1: Come on, let's recap today's Strawberry letters. Subject will he
• 59:16
Speaker 1: leave her for me or not? Question? Mark? And this
• 59:21
Speaker 1: lady ben with this relationship with a guy she'd to
• 59:24
Speaker 1: work with for six years, and over time they got
• 59:26
Speaker 1: attracted each other. They went out a few times, had
• 59:28
Speaker 1: some hard kissing going on with you. She say, never
• 59:31
Speaker 1: laid to nothing more. I find that hard to believe.
• 59:34
Speaker 1: But he explained to me he's in the dead and
• 59:36
Speaker 1: marriage of twenty years. That's the opening line for every
• 59:40
Speaker 1: married guy. He lives in an apartment in the city
• 59:43
Speaker 1: and his wife lives in a house in the suburbs. Oh,
• 59:46
Speaker 1: how convenient? Or do you think he just had an
• 59:50
Speaker 1: apartment in the city that his wife didn't know about.
• 59:55
Speaker 1: Possibly I am divorced in my grown kids. Leave with me,
• 1:00:00
Speaker 1: the married guy, enjoy each other's company. Where you've gone
• 1:00:04
Speaker 1: out several times, Maybe you went over to that apartment,
• 1:00:07
Speaker 1: I don't know, could be. And when you was at
• 1:00:09
Speaker 1: the department kissing real hard. I ain't nothing happened you
• 1:00:12
Speaker 1: over there, dogn we're in here. We're kissing real hard. Yeah, yeah,
• 1:00:18
Speaker 1: you know, he been married twenty years. He know how
• 1:00:20
Speaker 1: to kiss. He says he loves me, and I told
• 1:00:24
Speaker 1: him we can't have sex to he's divorced. He say
• 1:00:26
Speaker 1: he loves me, respects me, and it's not a problem.
• 1:00:29
Speaker 1: We really want to be together. So he told his
• 1:00:31
Speaker 1: wife it's over and she can stay in the house
• 1:00:34
Speaker 1: in the suburbs and they can split their assets, split
• 1:00:37
Speaker 1: their assets. Stay in the house in the suburbs. She
• 1:00:41
Speaker 1: in the suburbs, split their assets. Dog, you know how
• 1:00:47
Speaker 1: this work. He told me that he needs time to
• 1:00:51
Speaker 1: dissolve his marriage. You was already separated, according to I'm
• 1:00:57
Speaker 1: thinking that's what you must have said as to why
• 1:00:59
Speaker 1: you out this apartment in the city. So the marriage
• 1:01:02
Speaker 1: already was on his way. It's been a dead in
• 1:01:05
Speaker 1: marriage for twenty years, and he wants to dissolve his
• 1:01:08
Speaker 1: marriage and hope you could be patient. Understanding. He explained
• 1:01:11
Speaker 1: to me that his wife has never worked, so it
• 1:01:13
Speaker 1: would be a drawn out legal battle over finance. Boy,
• 1:01:16
Speaker 1: you're gonna start with half and you're gonna lose from that.
• 1:01:20
Speaker 1: I can tell you that we ain't seen each other
• 1:01:23
Speaker 1: much lately because he's back and forth to the suburbs
• 1:01:28
Speaker 1: to deal with his wife. What's the matter where she
• 1:01:30
Speaker 1: falling apart? Now all of a sudden he care he'd
• 1:01:34
Speaker 1: been having an apartment. Now all of a sudden he
• 1:01:37
Speaker 1: out there in the suburbs. He knew getting here well,
• 1:01:39
Speaker 1: she was gonna fall apart when he mentioned the divorce.
• 1:01:42
Speaker 1: Now now all of a sudden, he's a caretaker. Now
• 1:01:45
Speaker 1: he back and forth to the suburbs deal with his wife.
• 1:01:48
Speaker 1: He sent emotional text messages to me, and he details
• 1:01:51
Speaker 1: how special our little affair has been to him. Excuse me,
• 1:01:54
  Speaker 1: a fair kissing ain't and a fair? What's it? What
• 1:01:59
Speaker 1: do you mean? Kissing is just kissing? That's not an affair,
• 1:02:02
Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Lady? Y'all have had a
• 1:02:06
Speaker 1: little bit more than this kissing man. But he also
• 1:02:11
Speaker 1: says he's having a tough time with the divorce. Wait
• 1:02:14
Speaker 1: a minute, he having a tough time with the divorce.
• 1:02:17
Speaker 1: Didn't he tell you he was in a twenty year
• 1:02:19
Speaker 1: daddy in marriage, So what the hell is he having
• 1:02:22
Speaker 1: a hard time to get over with? Now? He's been
• 1:02:27
Speaker 1: prepping for this day for twenty damn years now, all
• 1:02:31
Speaker 1: of a sudden, he having a hard time with the
• 1:02:34
Speaker 1: damn divorce. What was this daddy in twenty years doing?
• 1:02:39
Speaker 1: He says he loves her, but he's not in love
• 1:02:43
Speaker 1: with her now. It's been a month since I've talked
• 1:02:45
Speaker 1: to him, he says me. Texts say he's thinking about
• 1:02:48
Speaker 1: me and hoping I can be patient? Be patient for what?
• 1:02:51
Speaker 1: What is he doing for a month? What you want
• 1:02:56
Speaker 1: me tell you? What happened with the month? The lease
• 1:02:59
Speaker 1: was up on the part, so he ain't got that
• 1:03:04
Speaker 1: little playground to go to no more. That's why you
• 1:03:07
Speaker 1: can't here for him. The lease is up at the part.
• 1:03:13
Speaker 1: I know divorce can be tough because I've been through one.
• 1:03:17
Speaker 1: My intuition says, he's back with his wife. He never
• 1:03:19
Speaker 1: left his wife, and we won't ever get together again.
• 1:03:23
Speaker 1: You're right. He's in a different office now, so anim said.
• 1:03:26
Speaker 1: He asked for the transfer. He is in a different
• 1:03:31
Speaker 1: office now, so I don't even see him at work anymore.
• 1:03:34
Speaker 1: He asked for the transfer. It seems like he's distanting
• 1:03:39
Speaker 1: himself from me. He you ain't talked to him in
• 1:03:41
Speaker 1: a month. You ain't seen him in a month. And
• 1:03:43
Speaker 1: he ain't in the same office no more. How much
• 1:03:45
Speaker 1: more distance you need over? What do you guys think?
• 1:03:53
Speaker 1: I think you about as far away from a damn
• 1:03:55
Speaker 1: relationship as you can. That's how distant I think he's
• 1:04:01
Speaker 1: doing an excellent job. He's not talking to you, y'all
• 1:04:04
Speaker 1: ain't been to department. Y'all was kissing real heart. Will
• 1:04:09
Speaker 1: he ever leave his wife to be with me? Please
• 1:04:12
  Speaker 1: advise he's not leaving his wife. I don't give a
• 1:04:16
Speaker 1: damn if it is a twenty year daddy in marriage.
• 1:04:19
Speaker 1: Listen to me. Listen to what a man said. This
• 1:04:22
Speaker 1: is a twenty year daddy in marriage. When you take
• 1:04:25
Speaker 1: your vials, don't you say to death do us part?
• 1:04:28
Speaker 1: We all in Daddy in Madge? Is damn daddy magic?
• 1:04:38
Speaker 1: The vial said to death, do us part? Don't that
• 1:04:42
Speaker 1: sound like daddy? And they? Yeah? Only one way up?
• 1:04:49
Speaker 1: All right? Listen? Post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter
• 1:04:52
Speaker 1: at Steve Harvey FM, on Instagram and Facebook. Coming up,
• 1:04:55
Speaker 1: we'll talk about the president at forty six. Afterwards you're
• 1:04:58
Speaker 1: listening Harvey Morning Show. President Trump once again has threatened
• 1:05:04
Speaker 1: to yank federal aid from California, which has been battling
• 1:05:08
Speaker 1: a series of fires, as we all know. Trump's threat
• 1:05:10
Speaker 1: prompted a response from California's Governor Gavin Newsom, who much
• 1:05:15
Speaker 1: Trump for not believing in climate change. Mister Trump tweeted
• 1:05:19
Speaker 1: on the governor of California at Gavin Newsom has done
• 1:05:23
Speaker 1: a terrible job of forest management. I told him from
• 1:05:26
Speaker 1: the first day we met that he must clean his
• 1:05:29
Speaker 1: forest floors, regardless of what his bosses, the environmentalists demand
• 1:05:34
Speaker 1: of him. Every year, as the fire's rage in California burns,
• 1:05:38
Speaker 1: it is the same thing, and then he comes to
• 1:05:40
Speaker 1: the federal government for funding help no more. None of
• 1:05:44
Speaker 1: the recent fires in California were in forest, so it's
• 1:05:47
Speaker 1: not clear exactly what mister Trump was referring to. Governor
• 1:05:52
Speaker 1: Newsom clapped back at Trump, you don't believe in climate change.
• 1:05:56
Speaker 1: You are excused from this conversation. You talk to him.
• 1:06:00
Speaker 1: Everybody talking like that. Listen to me. You can't clean
• 1:06:08
Speaker 1: your forest floor. Seas, leaves fall off, trees, seeds, acorns
• 1:06:16
Speaker 1: fall on the ground for a reason. It's called mother nature.
• 1:06:21
Speaker 1: It's population, you know, whatever the term is, what they populate.
• 1:06:26
Speaker 1: You know, you got pollen going from here, You got
• 1:06:28
Speaker 1: seeds fall on the ground. You gotta have new groom.
• 1:06:31
Speaker 1: You who nobody rakes the damn leaves in the fall?
• 1:06:35
Speaker 1: In the forest science, you need the decay. You need
• 1:06:40
Speaker 1: the decay of the leaves to produce the nutrients that
• 1:06:44
Speaker 1: keep the forests healthy. What's you can't clean the forest floor? Dude,
• 1:06:51
Speaker 1: Man that ain't ever had a job cleaning, Not to
• 1:06:58
Speaker 1: clean your damn floor. Go outside and clean up a place.
• 1:07:02
Speaker 1: Who is full of dirt? Oh man, do you know
• 1:07:07
Speaker 1: the insects that you're gonna have in that vacuum? Cleveland?
• 1:07:13
Speaker 1: The whole ecosystem off which show stupid behind vacuum the
• 1:07:19
Speaker 1: damn force. Slow man, Get out of here. Meanwhile, Donald
• 1:07:23
Speaker 1: Trump's attempt to keep New York prosecutors from getting his
• 1:07:27
Speaker 1: tax records and claims of presidential immunity were rejected by
• 1:07:31
Speaker 1: a federal appeals court. Lawyers for Trump had argued that
• 1:07:35
Speaker 1: the president is immune from prosecution and investigations in their
• 1:07:38
Speaker 1: attempts to block a subpoena for his tax records from
• 1:07:41
Speaker 1: New York prosecutors probing the hush money deals he made
• 1:07:44
Speaker 1: prior to the election in twenty sixteen. Trump plans to
• 1:07:48
Speaker 1: now appeal the case to the Supreme Court where boys,
• 1:07:54
Speaker 1: all right, coming up at the top of the hour.
• 1:07:56
Speaker 1: Men have a selective hearing when it comes to their spouses.
• 1:07:59
Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. Oh you're listening too.
• 1:08:07
Speaker 1: Relationship Wednesday topic, guys, here we go. A new study
• 1:08:11
Speaker 1: from um what is the Scrivens Hearing Care okay or
• 1:08:16
Speaker 1: Scriven's Uh. They looked at two thousand adults okay, two
• 1:08:20
Speaker 1: thousand grown people. Research shows that at least seven times
• 1:08:24
Speaker 1: a week men have selective hearing. In all. In all,
• 1:08:32
Speaker 1: men don't hear their spouse three hundred and eighty eight
• 1:08:34
Speaker 1: times in the course of a year. Women are two though.
• 1:08:38
  Speaker 1: That's a lot, right, that's a lot. Three hundred and
• 1:08:44
Speaker 1: eighty eight times in the course of a year. That's low.
• 1:08:50
Speaker 1: That's lo hosty. Here the average, well right now, you're
• 1:08:57
Speaker 1: only talking at once a day. That's average of what's
• 1:09:00
Speaker 1: a day. Okay, okay, So that ain't yeh, that's not
• 1:09:05
Speaker 1: so bad. That's not so bad. No, I tune you
• 1:09:09
Speaker 1: got to tune it the same thing him. What are
• 1:09:13
Speaker 1: y'all talking? Listen? Wait? Wait what man? We just talked
• 1:09:17
Speaker 1: about that for fifteen minutes because two hours. You make
• 1:09:22
Speaker 1: the same twenty minute point for two hours and wake
• 1:09:25
Speaker 1: up the next morning. Were still talking about that? Man,
• 1:09:28
Speaker 1: move on? What man, I'm hearing you, but I ain't
• 1:09:35
Speaker 1: listening no more. Man, did you hear what I said
• 1:09:37
Speaker 1: about letting it out at the job? Why are we
• 1:09:41
Speaker 1: still talking about Linda ladies? But that's that thing like that?
• 1:09:48
Speaker 1: That's true. Yeah, we do have selective here. So but
• 1:09:52
Speaker 1: it sounds like you guys are responsing to nagging. That's
• 1:09:55
Speaker 1: a difference, right, is it all if you's it's all
• 1:09:59
Speaker 1: the same to you. No, because if you're talking, if
• 1:10:03
Speaker 1: you're talking too much. M hmm, I'm just saying yea,
• 1:10:08
Speaker 1: which is often so it could be about anything. Just
• 1:10:12
Speaker 1: the sound of my voice that you just start tooting
• 1:10:15
Speaker 1: out after a while, that's for your teeth. Well you
• 1:10:22
Speaker 1: know what that's okay? And puffing about because you're talking
• 1:10:26
Speaker 1: about the same thing what I'm asking you about this
• 1:10:31
Speaker 1: survey though you're not answering. Uh no, I'm talking about
• 1:10:35
Speaker 1: this period. You're talking about the same thing. And then
• 1:10:38
Speaker 1: I can tell its body because I look on Facebook.
• 1:10:40
Speaker 1: Now you're posting stuff. Let it go, man, over to
• 1:10:46
Speaker 1: social media. On social media, now you're get emens on
• 1:10:51
Speaker 1: the damn what. Yeah, but let it. I think I
• 1:10:55
Speaker 1: think it is a problem, and I think women, um
• 1:11:00
Speaker 1: could admit to this one, because yes, men do have
• 1:11:03
Speaker 1: selective hearing, and we've had to developed that over the
• 1:11:06
Speaker 1: course of time, because and we've and more and more,
• 1:11:10
Speaker 1: we've developed more and more selective hearing. Because if there's
• 1:11:14
Speaker 1: a slight difference in us, women vent differently than men.
• 1:11:19
Speaker 1: And when women are around each other talking to their girlfriends,
• 1:11:22
Speaker 1: you all have more of a tendency to talk about
• 1:11:25
Speaker 1: a subject from every angle you turn it over. You
• 1:11:29
Speaker 1: all can discuss one subject for hours. Men don't do that.
• 1:11:34
Speaker 1: We have a debate, somebody wins, loses, We have a
• 1:11:38
Speaker 1: strong debate, then we laugh or we fight, and then
• 1:11:41
Speaker 1: it's over. You all keep talking about it. And once
• 1:11:44
Speaker 1: once a man has made all the points he can make,
• 1:11:47
Speaker 1: your point is irrelevant at this point because we've heard
• 1:11:50
Speaker 1: it already. We don't agree with it, so we shut
• 1:11:52
Speaker 1: you out, and we all every every man try to
• 1:11:56
Speaker 1: do that. Yeah. Yeah, we can get it into your
• 1:11:59
Speaker 1: face and not be here nothing you saying, Wait what,
• 1:12:05
Speaker 1: I can look dad in your face and not be
• 1:12:07
Speaker 1: hearing nothing you saying, be looking dad at your mouth?
• 1:12:12
Speaker 1: Are you listening? Are you listening to me? A girl? Yeah?

Speaker 1: Did you hear what I just said? Schedule of un will,
• 1:12:22
Speaker 1: schedule of hun How many times Marjorie to looked at
• 1:12:24
Speaker 1: me and said, what, Steve? What did I just say?
• 1:12:27
Speaker 1: What did it? Repeat? I say, that's as you heard. You.
• 1:12:34
Speaker 1: Women are guilty. Team. They don't listen. I'll be trying
• 1:12:36
Speaker 1: to think about what the hell is she's three hundred
• 1:12:39
Speaker 1: and thirty nine times a year. Oh, we do it too.
• 1:12:43
Speaker 1: We tune y'all out? All right? Coming up, music and
• 1:12:45
Speaker 1: fun on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We'll be back
• 1:12:47
Speaker 1: in twenty minutes after the hour right after this you're
• 1:12:50
Speaker 1: listening Morning Show. The world champion Washington Nationals celebrated their
• 1:12:58
Speaker 1: victory with a white visit to the White House um.
• 1:13:02
Speaker 1: While several players opted to skip the visit, the players
• 1:13:04
Speaker 1: who did make the trips seem to enjoy themselves. National
• 1:13:08
Speaker 1: catcher Kurt Suzuki happily put on a red make America
• 1:13:12
Speaker 1: Great Again hat and was rewarded with a super awkward
• 1:13:15
Speaker 1: reach around hug from Donald Trump. Ryan Zimmerman, the longest
• 1:13:20
Speaker 1: running player on the National's roster, presented Trump with a
• 1:13:23
Speaker 1: personalized jersey. Donald Trump said, America fell in love with
• 1:13:27
Speaker 1: NAT's baseball. That's all they wanted to talk about. That
• 1:13:31
Speaker 1: and impeachment. I like NAT's baseball much better. I bet
• 1:13:35
Speaker 1: you do. The World Series. Man, he had to insert
• 1:13:40
Speaker 1: himself and that. Yeah, they have to go to the
• 1:13:44
Speaker 1: White House. They could have just went to McDonald's and
• 1:13:47
Speaker 1: just got it over with. Hey, man, do you know
• 1:13:50
Speaker 1: I never knew what narcissistic behavior was until he became president.
• 1:13:55
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, I never even knew what it was.
• 1:13:59
Speaker 1: I never even knew what it was. And then I
• 1:14:00
Speaker 1: just I just looked it up. I just there were
• 1:14:03
Speaker 1: so many definitions being thrown out about what I finally
• 1:14:06
Speaker 1: found out what it was. I really thank him for that,
• 1:14:08
Speaker 1: because he's actually brought in my vocabulary because I had
• 1:14:11
Speaker 1: no idea what there was. Thank you, yea, he president,
• 1:14:14
Speaker 1: He put himself in it. America fell in love with
• 1:14:16
Speaker 1: NAT's baseball. That's all they wanted to talk about that
• 1:14:19
Speaker 1: an impeachment. I like NAT's baseball in the world. It's
• 1:14:25
Speaker 1: not a moment together though. I don't seem just explain that.
• 1:14:28
Speaker 1: But the baseball player putting the make America great again
• 1:14:31
Speaker 1: had one. All right, More of the show coming up
• 1:14:35
Speaker 1: at thirty three minutes after the hour. Right after this,
• 1:14:38
Speaker 1: you're listening. Celebrities joined Kim Kardashian West to stop Ridney
• 1:14:45
Speaker 1: Reid's execution. Rihanna has gotten on board, Llo cool J,
• 1:14:49
Speaker 1: Gigi Hadid, Ti Quest, Love, Meek Mill, Isaiah Washington, Reggie Bush,
• 1:14:55
Speaker 1: and others have joined Kim Kardashian's West and her efforts
• 1:15:00
Speaker 1: to stop Rotney Read's execution. Ritney Read, if you recall,
• 1:15:03
Speaker 1: as a Texas inmate, he spent over twenty one years
• 1:15:07
Speaker 1: on death row for the nineteen ninety six murder of
• 1:15:09
Speaker 1: Stacy Stiles. He has insisted on his innocence the entire time,
• 1:15:14
Speaker 1: and a former inmate filed in affidavit in court saying
• 1:15:18
Speaker 1: that Stile's fiance confessed the murder to him years ago
• 1:15:22
Speaker 1: for the record. The fiance's attorney disputes the credibility of
• 1:15:25
Speaker 1: the claim. According to the Innocence Project, there are several
• 1:15:29
Speaker 1: weaknesses in Reed's case. For one, and all white jury
• 1:15:34
Speaker 1: convicted the black man. Also, the murder weapon hasn't been
• 1:15:37
Speaker 1: tested for DNA evidence, and the forensic experts have admitted
• 1:15:42
Speaker 1: to eras in their testimony. Still, Read's execution is scheduled
• 1:15:46
Speaker 1: for November twentieth. We must come together to prevent a
• 1:15:50
Speaker 1: gross injustice, actress Yarrashihidi tweeted, along with a link to
• 1:15:55
Speaker 1: an online petition against the execution. Rihanna also tagged Governor
• 1:15:59
Speaker 1: Graham Abbott. Meanwhile, Kim has gone a step further and
• 1:16:04
Speaker 1: tweeted Governor Abbott directly, how can you execute a man
• 1:16:08
Speaker 1: who when since his trial, substantial evidence that would exonerate
• 1:16:12
Speaker 1: Rodney Reid has come forward and even implicates the other
• 1:16:16
Speaker 1: person of interest? She asked. She added, I urge you
• 1:16:21
Speaker 1: to do the right thing. So far, Abbott hasn't responded. Wow,
• 1:16:26
Speaker 1: and they've reached out to him and no response from response.
• 1:16:32
Speaker 1: I think what Kim Kardashian is doing is absolutely all
• 1:16:37
Speaker 1: very very real, you know, and should be commended for
• 1:16:41
Speaker 1: the work that she's putting forth on behalf of prison
• 1:16:45
Speaker 1: rights and and and reform. Getting the prison reform bill passed.
• 1:16:50
Speaker 1: She was really really instrumental in that. So I think
• 1:16:52
Speaker 1: people should give her a round of applause for that.
• 1:16:54
Speaker 1: That's that's a great work and innocent man A Nope, no,
• 1:17:00
Speaker 1: not not yet. Hopefully with this pressure and celebrities on
• 1:17:04
Speaker 1: board and other social justice you know organizations. Yeah, he
• 1:17:12
Speaker 1: will give it another looking stay of execution and not
• 1:17:15
Speaker 1: execute this man. And you're gonna kill an innocent man,
• 1:17:18
Speaker 1: and with evidence before you that says he's as an innocent,
• 1:17:23
Speaker 1: that proves he's in it. I mean, you know for
• 1:17:25
Speaker 1: all of us, of course this sounds so yes, this
• 1:17:31
Speaker 1: is wow a simple thing right here. But once again,
• 1:17:35
Speaker 1: when you're dealing with a prosecutor who builds his record
• 1:17:39
Speaker 1: on convictions and it's not willing to overturn one of
• 1:17:43
Speaker 1: his victories, when you have to drum up the all
• 1:17:48
Speaker 1: white jury to start polling them how they felt, you
• 1:17:52
Speaker 1: know you did. You started digging up people got to
• 1:17:54
Speaker 1: deal with who they are and what they've done. Coming up,
• 1:17:57
Speaker 1: our last break of the day, and of course some
• 1:18:00
Speaker 1: closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey at
• 1:18:03
Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after the hour. We'll be back right
• 1:18:05
Speaker 1: after this. You're listening show. All right here we are,
• 1:18:11
Speaker 1: last break of the day. It's been a good Wednesday
• 1:18:13
Speaker 1: at good hump day. Fun. Yeah, day after election day?
• 1:18:18
Speaker 1: Did y'all vote get out of your vote yesterday? Yes? Yes, yes,
• 1:18:22
Speaker 1: those local elections they count. Yeah, they matter. Looking at
• 1:18:26
Speaker 1: some of the results, some of y'all didn't learn today. Yeah,
• 1:18:34
Speaker 1: can I say something? Oh it's closing remarks. How nice
• 1:18:42
Speaker 1: to say this, but this to my past? Uh, Chris
• 1:18:48
Speaker 1: sending me a friend with Chris on social media? My
• 1:18:52
Speaker 1: page ain't saved. Okay, I see you on Sunday, but
• 1:18:56
Speaker 1: my page ain't saved though. Oh no, I'm not finding
• 1:19:00
Speaker 1: up your friend request nothing. My page is buck. Why
• 1:19:03
Speaker 1: you don't want to be over here? Okay, I can't.
• 1:19:07
Speaker 1: He can't know what's going on with you. No, he
• 1:19:10
Speaker 1: can't know what's in my life. Let me have this, man,
• 1:19:15
Speaker 1: I see you sang it. I'm just gonna get that
• 1:19:19
Speaker 1: out here. I know he's listening. Just I just want
• 1:19:21
Speaker 1: you to know. I can't you send it good morning
• 1:19:24
Speaker 1: to Wow. Well you know who needs to be up
• 1:19:28
Speaker 1: at all to call what he called? Yeah, I'm ahead,
• 1:19:31
Speaker 1: I got some clothing remark. You know. I wanted to
• 1:19:37
Speaker 1: take some time to share something with you all, because, um,
• 1:19:41
Speaker 1: I think what happens to a lot of people, it
• 1:19:44
Speaker 1: has happened to me in my life, and so that's
• 1:19:47
Speaker 1: how I know how effective it is. Uh. One of
• 1:19:51
Speaker 1: the major contributors to fail you. One of the major
• 1:19:54
Speaker 1: causes of a person's inability to all to prepare themselves
• 1:20:00
Speaker 1: into the life that God has for them is because
• 1:20:04
Speaker 1: they keep hanging on to their past. That's a very
• 1:20:09
Speaker 1: very dangerous thing to go to do. You know. Now,
• 1:20:12
Speaker 1: we have a lot of things in this world that
• 1:20:14
Speaker 1: tries to make us hold onto it like it's noticeable.
• 1:20:18
Speaker 1: You know, don't forget where you're from, you know, uh,
• 1:20:22
Speaker 1: keep it real, you know, kids, you know, just just
• 1:20:29
Speaker 1: just items of that nature. But I want you to
• 1:20:32
Speaker 1: what I'm trying to get you to understand is once
• 1:20:35
Speaker 1: you move past something, it is in your best interests
• 1:20:40
Speaker 1: to let it go. You have to let it go
• 1:20:44
Speaker 1: because when you hang on to things of the past,
• 1:20:47
Speaker 1: it impedes your progress. If you really want to go,
• 1:20:52
Speaker 1: you're gonna have to let something go. You cannot be
• 1:20:57
Speaker 1: as fast as you can be with a bunch of
• 1:20:59
Speaker 1: dead weight hanging on to you. You have got to
• 1:21:03
Speaker 1: let it go. Here the situation, so many people spend
• 1:21:10
Speaker 1: so much time in the past that they don't have
• 1:21:15
Speaker 1: the proper balance to plan, anticipate, and build the hopes
• 1:21:21
Speaker 1: and visions and dreams for their future. Stay out of
• 1:21:25
Speaker 1: the past. It's nothing back there that you can do
• 1:21:29
Speaker 1: anything about, nothing about it at all. There's not a
• 1:21:34
Speaker 1: single decision you can make that can change yesterday. There's
• 1:21:39
Speaker 1: not a moment of worry that you can have that
• 1:21:43
Speaker 1: can change what happened last week, when you were a baby,
• 1:21:49
Speaker 1: when you were a little girl, when you got laid off,
• 1:21:53
Speaker 1: when you got fired, when your relationship ended, when you
• 1:21:57
Speaker 1: had the baby. Nothing you can do today can have
• 1:22:02
Speaker 1: one order of an effect on your pass. So why
• 1:22:07
Speaker 1: are we spending so much time there when we clearly
• 1:22:11
Speaker 1: have a future to get to? Let it go? Stay
• 1:22:16
Speaker 1: out of the pass. Backwards makes it real hard to
• 1:22:21
Speaker 1: go forward. If you put your car in reverse, I
• 1:22:25
Speaker 1: am telling you you're gonna have one heck of a
• 1:22:28
Speaker 1: time to get that car to go forward. I don't
• 1:22:31
Speaker 1: care what you do. And now, what you can try
• 1:22:34
Speaker 1: to do is you can throw your car reverse and
• 1:22:36
Speaker 1: turn it around and try to go backwards in the
• 1:22:39
Speaker 1: direction that your car was supposed to go. But ain't
• 1:22:42
Speaker 1: that hard to drive backwards at full speed? It's hard
• 1:22:45
Speaker 1: to back up going at a decent speed backwards makes
• 1:22:49
Speaker 1: it really hard to go forward. Y'all constantly reviewing things
• 1:22:55
Speaker 1: don't leave a lot of time for planning. You know,
• 1:22:59
Speaker 1: have you ever been to an office meeting? And I
• 1:23:01
Speaker 1: ain't been to one, and god, I can't remember when.
• 1:23:04
Speaker 1: But he used to kill me. Man. I had this
• 1:23:06
Speaker 1: job and this dude worked an insurance company, and every
• 1:23:10
Speaker 1: three days he wanted to come into the middle of
• 1:23:12
Speaker 1: the room and going, hey, listen, we want to review
• 1:23:14
Speaker 1: a few things. I never understood these reviews. We kept
• 1:23:17
Speaker 1: doing because in order for the company to make money,
• 1:23:20
Speaker 1: we got to be out here selling these policies. But
• 1:23:22
Speaker 1: this guy was so dead set on reviews, reviews, reviews, reviews, reviews,
• 1:23:28
Speaker 1: And while we could have been out working, selling, promoting
• 1:23:31
Speaker 1: and generating revenue, we spent our time reviewing. And it
• 1:23:35
Speaker 1: just I go, Man, I just sit there go. Man
• 1:23:37
Speaker 1: wanted to do let's just go, but he wanted to
• 1:23:40
Speaker 1: hear himself, and he wanted to make sure that he
• 1:23:42
Speaker 1: was protecting us from the mistakes of the past by
• 1:23:45
Speaker 1: reviewing them all the time. He didn't realize, but after
• 1:23:48
Speaker 1: the time, he was ingraining past behavior into people's subconscious
• 1:23:53
Speaker 1: And I was thinking about that today. I said, Man,
• 1:23:55
Speaker 1: could that be what happens to a lot of people
• 1:23:58
Speaker 1: that you ingrained so much of your previous behavior in
• 1:24:00
Speaker 1: your life because you meditate on the pass so much,
• 1:24:03
Speaker 1: and now it's ingrained in your behavior, and you don't
• 1:24:06
Speaker 1: even give yourself a chance to become a new you,
• 1:24:09
Speaker 1: don't give yourself a chance to think like a new you.
• 1:24:12
Speaker 1: You got to let it go. Stay out of the pass, y'all.
• 1:24:15
Speaker 1: Let it go. It's hard to go backwards. It's hard backwards,
• 1:24:20
Speaker 1: makes it really really hard to go forward. Give yourself
• 1:24:24
Speaker 1: a shot. Stay out of the pass. Ask God to
• 1:24:29
Speaker 1: help you accomplish your dreams and your visions. Set some goals,
• 1:24:34
Speaker 1: and wake up every day and ask God to give
• 1:24:36
Speaker 1: you your daily bread. That's the best way to live
• 1:24:39
Speaker 1: your life. Those are my closing remarks today. Thank y'all
