Government Eyes Expansion of Saint Lucia's Carnival Product
Government is exploring ways to broaden Saint Lucia's carnival offerings by hosting more regional events and competitions. Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Ernest Hilaire believes the island has the infrastructure and expertise to stage major regional pageants and competitions, while plans are also underway to blend experienced carnival administrators with a new generation of organizers.
