- 0:00Speaker 1: So I remember earlier this year when there was a
- 0:03Speaker 1: story that came out that said a bunch of your
- 0:05Speaker 1: tax dollars were going to pay for crack pipes and cities,
- 0:11Speaker 1: liberal cities all over the country. The White House was
- 0:14Speaker 1: asked about this, Are we really spending our tax hours
- 0:17Speaker 1: to hand out crack pipes to crackheads. Now, the logic
- 0:21Speaker 1: behind this was, well, we need to give them clean
- 0:24Speaker 1: crack pipes so that they don't get infections and get sick.
- 0:28Speaker 1: So we're going to aid and about them and getting
- 0:30Speaker 1: high in a safe way. I wish I was joking
- 0:36Speaker 1: when I say this, because when I just said out loud,
- 0:39Speaker 1: I realized how stupid it actually sounds. Yet that was
- 0:43Speaker 1: the policy of this administration. They wanted to make sure
- 0:48Speaker 1: that you could get high on crack in a safe manner.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Let that sink in, and you were going to pay
- 0:58Speaker 1: for it as a taxpayer. All right, real quick, I
- 1:01Speaker 1: want to tell you about my good friends over at
- 1:03Speaker 1: Legacy Precious Metals. With the economy really an inflation out
- 1:07Speaker 1: of control, in the stock market taking horrific losses, the

- 1:16Speaker 1: was this bad. You may be looking at your financial
- 1:20Speaker 1: portfolio in you're sick to your stomach. You're not alone.
- 1:23Speaker 1: The question is if you are not diversified in precious
- 1:27Speaker 1: metals as part of your financial portfolio, then what would
- 1:31Speaker 1: it look like now? Maybe if you would have been,
- 1:33Speaker 1: it's not too late, by the way, to take advantage
- 1:35Speaker 1: of gold and silver. It is a hedge against inflation,
- 1:39Speaker 1: and it's a way for you to diversify your IRA,
- 1:41Speaker 1: your four oh one K, your investment portfolio. If you've
- 1:45Speaker 1: never looked at gold and silver, there's actually no better
- 1:47Speaker 1: time than right now now. I've been investing golden silver
- 1:50Speaker 1: for gosh, almost twenty years. I've used it as a
- 1:54Speaker 1: percentage of my strategy to protect myself. So on the
- 1:57Speaker 1: worst days on Wall Street usually they're not as bad
- 2:00Speaker 1: for me as they are for others. Call Legacy Precious

- 2:36Speaker 1: When this story was originally broke by a newspaper in DC,
- 2:43Speaker 1: a conservative newspaper in DC, immediately the White House said no, no,
- 2:48Speaker 1: no, no no, no, that's not true. There will not be
- 2:50Speaker 1: crackpipes given out for free, which your taxpayers dollars. That's
- 2:53Speaker 1: not going to happen. They called it a conspiracy theory.
- 2:59Speaker 1: They said it was a conspiracy theory and a lie. Okay,
- 3:06Speaker 1: so case closed, right. That's how the media treated it.
- 3:11Speaker 1: The media was like, oh, it's conspiracy here, this bunch
- 3:13Speaker 1: of them maga Trump crazies making lies up. White House
- 3:16Speaker 1: said it's lies, therefore it must be a lie. We'll
- 3:19Speaker 1: move on because it's obviously a lie. Well guess what.
- 3:24Speaker 1: It wasn't a conspiracy theory. The only people that did
- 3:27Speaker 1: lie to you was the White House. Take a listen
- 3:30Speaker 1: to Jesse Waters and how he described it on Fox
- 3:33Speaker 1: or Drops. The White House denied it up in doubt.
- 3:37Speaker 1: HHS just put out the statement clarifying around some reports
- 3:42Speaker 1: that crack pipes are not would be part of the
- 3:44Speaker 1: Safe Smoking Kids that are funded by the administration. But
- 3:48Speaker 1: can you clarify for us were they never a part
- 3:51Speaker 1: of the kid or were they removed in response to
- 3:54Speaker 1: this reporting that they were never a part of the kid.
- 3:57Speaker 1: It was inaccurate reporting, and we wanted to put out
- 3:59Speaker 1: information to make that clear. We don't support federal funding
- 4:02Speaker 1: indirect or direct for pipes and if that was in
- 4:06Speaker 1: February the ninth, USA Today, they came out right, because
- 4:11Speaker 1: if you're a fact checker and you can fact check everything,
- 4:14Speaker 1: then immediately you can say it's a lie. Right, here's
- 4:17Speaker 1: the USA Today as they put it. Of course they
- 4:19Speaker 1: had the fact checkers to back them up. USA Today
- 4:22Speaker 1: reported it was a false claim. Fact check dot org
- 4:26Speaker 1: claim the funds were for overdose prevention. Definitely not the
- 4:29Speaker 1: crack pipes. Obviously CNN had to deny the claims too,
- 4:33Speaker 1: but they were all wrong. Fact check it political. It's
- 4:36Speaker 1: seen in politics. Fact check Biden administration isn't funding crackpipes.
- 4:40Speaker 1: February the seventeenth. That is their headline. That's what they
- 4:45Speaker 1: have in their headline. Fact check dot Org Biden Initiative
- 4:49Speaker 1: funds drug overdose prevention not crackpipes. And USA Today, which
- 4:56Speaker 1: loves to mark things online and silence conservatives on Facebook's
- 5:00Speaker 1: said fact check false claim that the Biden administration is
- 5:04Speaker 1: distributing thirty million dollars of crack pipes. So all of
- 5:09Speaker 1: the big three fact checking organizations all said that it
- 5:14Speaker 1: was crazy Republicans a lying putting out misinformation about crack
- 5:19Speaker 1: pipes being given out to crackheads with your tax dollars.
- 5:26Speaker 1: What was happening. They were giving out crack pipes and
- 5:29Speaker 1: now we know for a fact they were doing it.
- 5:31Speaker 1: The Washington Free Beacon reported today that safe smoking kits
- 5:35Speaker 1: provided by local nonprofits do include crack pipes. They know
- 5:41Speaker 1: because they got their hands on some. From Boston to
- 5:45Speaker 1: New York to Baltimore, every single city's testing kit comes
- 5:49Speaker 1: with a complimentary crack pipe. The crack pipes all look
- 5:54Speaker 1: the same, they all have the same markings. You go
- 5:59Speaker 1: to New York City, they call it a safer smoker
- 6:02Speaker 1: kit smoking kit that it has a crack pipe. The
- 6:06Speaker 1: same thing in Boston, the same thing in Washington, d C.
- 6:10Speaker 1: They even give you a little bit of aluminum foil
- 6:13Speaker 1: to smoke your crack with. There. That's like an add
- 6:16Speaker 1: on Baltimore, they got nice crack pipes there, Richmond, Virginia,
- 6:22Speaker 1: nice crack pipes there. They give you everything you need
- 6:25Speaker 1: to quote smoke crack safely. Did the fact checkers even
- 6:33Speaker 1: get their hands on any of these kits or did
- 6:35Speaker 1: they just take the word from allowing politician and just
- 6:38Speaker 1: print it. Yeah, that's exactly what happened. Jensaki was given
- 6:43Speaker 1: the chance to set the records straight today and she
- 6:47Speaker 1: called it, of course, a conspiracy theory. Conspiracy theory. So
- 6:51Speaker 1: we're holding the crack pipes from Boston, DC, Baltimore, New York, Richmond,
- 6:57Speaker 1: all up and down the East coast, and the White
- 7:00Speaker 1: House slide to you and said it was a lie.
- 7:02Speaker 1: And now they now that they've been busting a lie,
- 7:05Speaker 1: they're going to say it's a conspiracy theory. This policy
- 7:09Speaker 1: does not allow for crack pipes to be included. I
- 7:12Speaker 1: would just note that this is a bit of a
- 7:13Speaker 1: conspiracy theory that's been spread out there. It's not accurate.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Money is not used for crack pipes. A conspiracy theory
- 7:20Speaker 1: is just something Democrats don't want to talk about. I'm
- 7:23Speaker 1: sure they'll be calling record high gas prices a conspiracy
- 7:26Speaker 1: theory too. There you go. We're all wrong, folks. Safe
- 7:32Speaker 1: smoking kits does include a complimentary crack pipe. The White
- 7:37Speaker 1: House says, after being busted in the lie, that it
- 7:40Speaker 1: is a conspiracy theory. Washington Free Beacon reporter Patrick Hoff
- 7:48Speaker 1: said after they attacked him, he had no other choice
- 7:51Speaker 1: but to go out there and prove that this actually happened.
- 7:54Speaker 1: He sat down with Tugger Carlson take a listen to
- 7:57Speaker 1: make that clear. So Jen Psaki told you the kids
- 8:02Speaker 1: just have lip bomb and the fact checkers at USA Today,
- 8:05Speaker 1: who for the record will literally say anything reported, There
- 8:08Speaker 1: were definitely no crack pipes inside, So shut up, conspiracy monger. Quote.
- 8:13Speaker 1: What's inside is say smoking kid to stop opioid overdose. No,
- 8:16Speaker 1: it's not a crack pipe. But of course they did
- 8:19Speaker 1: no reporting on it because it's not really a news organization.
- 8:21Speaker 1: It's USA Today, America's newspaper. But the Washington Freebeacon decided
- 8:24Speaker 1: to report the story, which reporters' supposed to do. Patrick
- 8:28Speaker 1: Haalf is a reporter at the Freebeacon. He did the
- 8:30Speaker 1: leg work. He joins us tonight to tell us what
- 8:32Speaker 1: he found. Patrick thinks for coming on, So you actually
- 8:34Speaker 1: did the reporting. What did you find? Yeah, so, just
- 8:38Speaker 1: to first address what Jen Saki said, I mean, this
- 8:40Speaker 1: is the exact messaging they did when we broke the
- 8:42Speaker 1: story back in February. Oh no, no, no, oh no,
- 8:46Speaker 1: the pipes are not in the kids. And happily the
- 8:48Speaker 1: media pushed us narrative, they printed the press release. But
- 8:52Speaker 1: what we decided was actually to go out and do
- 8:54Speaker 1: the real work to figure out what is a smoking kid.
- 8:56Speaker 1: So we went to five different cities up and down
- 8:57Speaker 1: the East Coast and we found, of course, yes, a
- 9:00Speaker 1: crack pipe is within a crack smoking kid. That's the
- 9:03Speaker 1: whole point. You smoke with a pipe. But I mean,
- 9:06Speaker 1: we have the worst drug epidemic in American history, one
- 9:09Speaker 1: hundred and seven thousand dead last year. Why would you
- 9:11Speaker 1: have any clue why the White House would would promote
- 9:14Speaker 1: drug addiction. Yes, so this program is the the thirty
- 9:17Speaker 1: million dollars HS program. It gives us money to these
- 9:22Speaker 1: harm reduction organizations. And on this grand program was listed
- 9:26Speaker 1: these smoking kids and supposed leads. It is supposed to
- 9:28Speaker 1: reduce harm for users. Now I've continued to reach out
- 9:32Speaker 1: to HS. Okay, well, clearly these pipes are in the
- 9:35Speaker 1: smoking kids. We went on and got them. There's been
- 9:38Speaker 1: documented proof for this going back for years. I'd say, okay, well,
- 9:41Speaker 1: how are you going to ensure these pipes are not
- 9:43Speaker 1: in the kids? They have no answer for this. They've
- 9:45Speaker 1: they've the White House clearly has been making this up
- 9:47Speaker 1: as they've gone along, because there's been quite the backlash. Yeah,
- 9:51Speaker 1: I mean, it's it's it's drains is really quick. So
- 9:54Speaker 1: you did what reporters are supposed to do. Would you
- 9:57Speaker 1: just checked the press release to see if it was
- 9:58Speaker 1: accurate and called around. Why didn't the New York Times
- 10:01Speaker 1: do that? Look, I can't say that, but look, we
- 10:04Speaker 1: decided to go out in the street, and I tell you, Tucker,
- 10:06Speaker 1: what I found was horrifying, and I don't think any
- 10:08Speaker 1: reporter would want to see that. But the Washington Free Beacon,
- 10:10Speaker 1: of course, took to the streets. In Boston, what was
- 10:12Speaker 1: the worst, and that was the Boston harm Production Center,
- 10:14Speaker 1: actually the City's Health Department, run by the city's health department.
- 10:17Speaker 1: And I go there and there's I mean, at least
- 10:19Speaker 1: a dozen drug addicts walking around. It was horrifying. Go in,
- 10:23Speaker 1: I get the pipe. They put me in their system
- 10:25Speaker 1: for free and it's easy. Walk in, walk out, get
- 10:29Speaker 1: the crack pipe. And I walk outside. I saw a man.
- 10:31Speaker 1: This is eleven am, Tucker. I saw a man shoot
- 10:33Speaker 1: up in his calf, ten yards away from a police car.
- 10:36Speaker 1: I called the police. Is this something you're aware of?
- 10:39Speaker 1: No answer, Just degrading the American population, killing people. It's
- 10:44Speaker 1: so dark, it's hard to believe that's happening. And I appreciate,
- 10:46Speaker 1: deeply appreciate your going and doing the reporting on this. Yeah,
- 10:49Speaker 1: thank you. Just real quick, Tucker, I just want to
- 10:52Speaker 1: sell you the crack pipe that we got here. This
- 10:53Speaker 1: is the crack pipe, and here we got the meth pipe.
- 10:56Speaker 1: So it's unbelievable. I mean, it's it's so easy to get.
- 10:59Speaker 1: It's right there. Yeah, not lip bom, wow, thank you.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Whitehouse says it's conspiracy theory, though your tax dollars are
- 11:05Speaker 1: clearly not going for this program. So it takes one
- 11:08Speaker 1: brave reporter to go out there and ask the question.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Just one one brave reporter. You knows what Representative Waltz
- 11:18Speaker 1: said yesterday. He said it this way on Capitol Hill
- 11:22Speaker 1: that in a Biden's America, it's easier to get a
- 11:26Speaker 1: crack pipe and a government funded smoke kit than to
- 11:30Speaker 1: find baby formula. Like I think we did to take
- 11:32Speaker 1: a moment and think about the fact that in Joe
- 11:35Speaker 1: Biden's America, it seems like it's easier to get a
- 11:39Speaker 1: crack pipe and a government funded smoking kit than it
- 11:44Speaker 1: is to find baby formula. I'm a new father of
- 11:48Speaker 1: a four month old. He's right, you can go get
- 11:51Speaker 1: a crack pipe easier than you can find baby formula
- 11:54Speaker 1: right now. Now. People were angry with Representative Waltz for
- 11:58Speaker 1: actually saying that, how dare you say that? Right? How
- 12:01Speaker 1: dare you say this? Lieutenant North Carolina Lieutenant Governor Mark
- 12:06Speaker 1: Keith Robinson became famous for speaking out as an African
- 12:10Speaker 1: American man. Here's what he had to say about crack
- 12:13Speaker 1: pipes and you paying for them and what it's doing
- 12:16Speaker 1: in the African American community. Station, get back to some
- 12:24Speaker 1: common sense and some descent. All this foods this is
- 12:28Speaker 1: we got going all around here, this old incontinent, incompetent
- 12:35Speaker 1: commanding in chief, if you want to call it, that,
- 12:37Speaker 1: sending out crack pipes to people, sending out crack pipes
- 12:45Speaker 1: to people. Joe, we said, open the plick line. You
- 12:57Speaker 1: understood sipe, sanity pipeline. Joe, we said pipe line, not
- 13:21Speaker 1: crack pipe. Pipe line cannas and said, and Biden's America,
- 13:28Speaker 1: you only go out to get vaccinated, do smashing grabs, Right,
- 13:33Speaker 1: that's what you do. You in Biden's America, you go
- 13:36Speaker 1: out there and you do smashing grabs, get vaccinated, and
- 13:40Speaker 1: grab a free crack pipe. Well, I think it's pretty
- 13:42Speaker 1: obvious that Biden administration loves Black America and loves America
- 13:46Speaker 1: and cares about the health and wellbeing. All you have
- 13:48Speaker 1: to do to be healthy, and Joe Biden's America stay
- 13:50Speaker 1: at home, lock your doors, avoid sunlight, mask your children
- 13:54Speaker 1: when you step outside. Let it only be to get
- 13:56Speaker 1: five vaccines and maybe do a smashing grab crime and
- 13:59Speaker 1: then on your way back home, grab a government sponsored
- 14:02Speaker 1: crack pipe. I don't know why people think that Joe
- 14:04Speaker 1: Biden doesn't care about the lives of the average Americans
- 14:07Speaker 1: and Black Americans. It's so clear by the way he's
- 14:09Speaker 1: running things that he actually cares. Now you can compare
- 14:16Speaker 1: and contrast what we're witnessing with these crack pipes to
- 14:19Speaker 1: exactly what's happening in this country. In Biden's America, where
- 14:22Speaker 1: in the greatest country in the world. You can't even
- 14:24Speaker 1: get baby formula right now. And they knew there was
- 14:27Speaker 1: a problem because they're the ones that shut down the
- 14:29Speaker 1: largest producer a baby formula in America. They knew that
- 14:34Speaker 1: they were going to the pipeline right of baby formulas
- 14:40Speaker 1: gonna be cut by forty percent. They knew that there
- 14:42Speaker 1: was going to be panic buying. When people saw the
- 14:43Speaker 1: shelves that weren't stopped with baby formula, they knew that
- 14:48Speaker 1: this was going to happen. And the case study for
- 14:49Speaker 1: that was COVID. Remember during COVID, when people were buying
- 14:53Speaker 1: up pallets of water like somehow COVID was going to
- 14:56Speaker 1: affect the water come in your house, which it wasn't.
- 14:58Speaker 1: But we've seen people be stupid, right, There was nothing
- 15:01Speaker 1: in COVID that said that you needed massive amounts of
- 15:03Speaker 1: toilet paper because you're gonna have something horrific intestinal problem.
- 15:07Speaker 1: It was gonna make you sit on the toilet for
- 15:09Speaker 1: eight hours a day and need all this toilet paper.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Yet what happened. People are stupid, and every roll of
- 15:15Speaker 1: toilet paper was disappearing from the shelves. Then all of
- 15:18Speaker 1: a sudden, it was like paper towels too, and you're like,
- 15:20Speaker 1: why why, I mean, what with COVID makes you need
- 15:22Speaker 1: a bunch of paper towels? Didn't matter. Panic buying sets in.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Then we saw dairy disappear, panic buying sitting in. Then
- 15:30Speaker 1: we saw meat disappearing, panic buying setting in. None of
- 15:34Speaker 1: those things are related to COVID any in any way, right,
- 15:38Speaker 1: doesn't matter. Once the panic sets in, it sets in.
- 15:41Speaker 1: So they just saw a massive case study into what
- 15:43Speaker 1: happens with panic buying in America. They knew they were
- 15:47Speaker 1: gonna take off forty thirty forty percent depending on who
- 15:50Speaker 1: you talked too, of the baby formula in this shutdown.
- 15:54Speaker 1: They didn't do anything to fix it or change it.
- 15:57Speaker 1: But who is this administration putting first Americans? Representative Kamak
- 16:05Speaker 1: is the one that broke the story on the piles
- 16:09Speaker 1: and pallets of baby formula going to the southern border,
- 16:13Speaker 1: putting illegal immigrants ahead of Americans citizens who are desperately
- 16:17Speaker 1: in need. People are angry with her, saying, well, what
- 16:21Speaker 1: are you saying that we should starve the children at
- 16:22Speaker 1: the border. That's not worth saying, but we should at
- 16:24Speaker 1: least put American kids first and not make it easier
- 16:27Speaker 1: for illegal immigrants to come across the border because they
- 16:30Speaker 1: know when they do, we're going to give them baby formula.
- 16:32Speaker 1: For example, listen to this, Kamma joins us. Now, good
- 16:35Speaker 1: morning to you, Congresswoman, Good morning, Ainslie, good morning doing well.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Thank you. So tell us how you receive this photo,
- 16:41Speaker 1: because the news broke yesterday and we were all appalled,
- 16:43Speaker 1: you know, just like you. I was equally appalled, and
- 16:47Speaker 1: it was earlier in the week I had received a
- 16:49Speaker 1: text message from several different border agents sending me pictures
- 16:52Speaker 1: and videos of stocked warehouses pallets of baby formula. These
- 16:57Speaker 1: agents themselves have families and they have family members that
- 17:01Speaker 1: can't get this baby formula in the stores in Texas
- 17:05Speaker 1: and Arizona, New Mexico. Yet they go to work and
- 17:08Speaker 1: they're unloading palettes of baby food out of the back
- 17:10Speaker 1: of tractor trailers. It's outrageous. If you have to sum
- 17:13Speaker 1: it up, this is exactly what America last looks like. Meanwhile,
- 17:17Speaker 1: moms across the country are panicking they can't get their
- 17:21Speaker 1: hands on formula. And as you said, forty percent across
- 17:24Speaker 1: the country is out. In my state, close to fifty
- 17:27Speaker 1: percent of baby formula is out, and that's in Florida
- 17:30Speaker 1: and several other states. How did the government get their
- 17:33Speaker 1: hands on all of this formula when our moms here
- 17:36Speaker 1: in America, they're here legal or here illegally, can't get
- 17:39Speaker 1: their hands on the formula because we have a policy
- 17:42Speaker 1: now with this administration where Americans do not come first.
- 17:51Speaker 1: White House this morning went on of course CNN, and
- 17:55Speaker 1: they were asked the White House had their representative come
- 17:58Speaker 1: out talking about the baby formula administration, and Brian Deese
- 18:06Speaker 1: actually confirmed today that they were aware there was going
- 18:08Speaker 1: to be a problem back in February shortage well as
- 18:14Speaker 1: a as a parent and with friends and colleagues, we
- 18:19Speaker 1: was aware that people were starting to have trouble in stores.
- 18:24Speaker 1: But we were aware of this from when the FDA
- 18:27Speaker 1: had to take its action back in February with Abbott
- 18:30Speaker 1: and with the steps in the Michigan facility. And we
- 18:34Speaker 1: have had a team on this from the FDA and
- 18:37Speaker 1: Invercy process since then. And the steps that I mentioned
- 18:41Speaker 1: are steps that have been taken over the course of
- 18:43Speaker 1: multiple weeks and are ramping those up. And I believe
- 18:46Speaker 1: the first complaints about this facility happened last fall I
- 18:50Speaker 1: don't think the FDA started interviewing whistleblowers until maybe December
- 18:53Speaker 1: or so. Of course, as you noted, the recall started
- 18:56Speaker 1: earlier this year, and so I'm wondering if the sentence
- 18:58Speaker 1: of the White House is that the DA moved quickly
- 19:01Speaker 1: enough on this issue. Well, those are independent scientific judgments
- 19:06Speaker 1: that I will leave to the FDA. What I can
- 19:08Speaker 1: tell you is that they took action to put in
- 19:12Speaker 1: place that recall, and we have been working closely on
- 19:16Speaker 1: this issue in the wake of that recall to try
- 19:18Speaker 1: to address the attendant impacts of that. If the President
- 19:22Speaker 1: does use the Defense Production Act, should we have seen
- 19:24Speaker 1: some lawmakers, including Democrats, say that he should hear Do
- 19:27Speaker 1: you think that's something that could happen? I mean, these
- 19:30Speaker 1: people are insane. They're sitting there. They knew this was
- 19:33Speaker 1: going to be a problem. They knew they were whistle
- 19:35Speaker 1: blowers at this plant. They knew they were going to
- 19:37Speaker 1: take it offline. And instead of sending food that you
- 19:42Speaker 1: can't buy to American citizens, you're sending it to a
- 19:45Speaker 1: legal immigrant to the border, because we're putting them before
- 19:50Speaker 1: American citizens. White House Press secretary won't say if the
- 19:57Speaker 1: White House actually could have done more to stop this problem.
- 20:02Speaker 1: It does seem like we should have seen this coming,
- 20:04Speaker 1: that maybe the FDA could have done more on the
- 20:07Speaker 1: baby formula shortage. The whistle blower who used to work
- 20:09Speaker 1: at that Sturges plant warned the FDA top officials about
- 20:13Speaker 1: safety concerns in October, but they didn't interview that was
- 20:16Speaker 1: a blower until December, and the inspection wasn't nil January thirty. First.
- 20:19Speaker 1: The recall happened February seventeenth. So it is that timeline
- 20:22Speaker 1: acceptable to the White House? And if not, what is
- 20:24Speaker 1: the White House doing to correct that? At the FDA,
- 20:27Speaker 1: I'm sure there will be plenty of time to take
- 20:29Speaker 1: a look at if there are any issues that could
- 20:30Speaker 1: have been improved here. I don't have any specific analysis
- 20:33Speaker 1: of that at this moment in time. So you guys
- 20:37Speaker 1: knew there was a problem, you didn't listen to the
- 20:39Speaker 1: whistle blower. Then you finally came in, and then it
- 20:41Speaker 1: took you months to actually start the investigation, then months
- 20:44Speaker 1: to do the recall on the baby formula, Right, that's
- 20:51Speaker 1: what you're saying. But she won't say if Biden could
- 20:53Speaker 1: have done more in the nationwide baby formula shortage. No,
- 20:55Speaker 1: why would I say anything about that? Why we should
- 20:59Speaker 1: have seen this coming? Maybe the FDA could have done more.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Should you have seen this coming? Should the FDA have
- 21:05Speaker 1: done more? Should you guys have been warned? Should you
- 21:07Speaker 1: have been paying attention? White House now considering invoking the
- 21:14Speaker 1: Defense Production Act on baby formula for a problem that
- 21:19Speaker 1: they already knew existed. Yes, we're exploring every option. I
- 21:23Speaker 1: think when you look at the Defense Production Act, you
- 21:25Speaker 1: have to ensure that would actually achieve what you're trying
- 21:28Speaker 1: to achieve, and so we're also looking at that as well,
- 21:31Speaker 1: and we have been working This is one of the reasons, obviously,
- 21:33Speaker 1: the President called CEOs today of some of these vital
- 21:37Speaker 1: companies to determine what more can be done, because we
- 21:40Speaker 1: know that with one major supplier having part of their
- 21:44Speaker 1: supply off the marketplace, one of the easiest and fastest
- 21:47Speaker 1: ways to address that is to increase supply from some
- 21:50Speaker 1: of the other suppliers and also to import more, which
- 21:53Speaker 1: is a step we're working to take as well. He
- 21:55Speaker 1: didn't happen to ask him to invoke the Defense Production Act?
- 21:59Speaker 1: Did they? When I'm not aware of that being a
- 22:01Speaker 1: specific ask from them, I can see if there's more
- 22:04Speaker 1: to read out from the from the calls as well. Okay,
- 22:08Speaker 1: so just to be totally clear here, to be completely clear,
- 22:14Speaker 1: you knew there was a problem, you knew the problem
- 22:17Speaker 1: was coming, you were slow to act on the problem.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Then you knew when the whistleblower made their complaint that
- 22:23Speaker 1: there was probably even a bigger problem, right, And the
- 22:27Speaker 1: bigger problem got even bigger, and then you guys finally
- 22:30Speaker 1: shut down production, and then you knew that thirty forty
- 22:33Speaker 1: percent of production of the entire country was going to
- 22:36Speaker 1: go offline, and you still did nothing to hedge this,
- 22:39Speaker 1: to fix it, to prevent this catastrophe. And then while
- 22:43Speaker 1: people were telling you there's a problem, you guys still
- 22:45Speaker 1: to this day have not acted. You're still trying to
- 22:48Speaker 1: figure it out. Oh when Jen Psaki's got some great
- 22:52Speaker 1: advice for you as a mother or a father out
- 22:55Speaker 1: there that's trying to keep your child alive. If you
- 22:57Speaker 1: can't find baby formula, they told you to go call
- 23:01Speaker 1: a doctor. In other words, good luck now. This baby
- 23:08Speaker 1: formula shortage I also think brings up the bigger picture here,
- 23:15Speaker 1: and it's I think very clear they just don't really
- 23:19Speaker 1: care about you and They don't care about what you're
- 23:23Speaker 1: going through. Look at energy prices right now, surging. This
- 23:29Speaker 1: is hurting a lot of people. Energy prices are up
- 23:32Speaker 1: forty three point six percent. Are they trying to fix it? No,
- 23:39Speaker 1: Utilities in general up twenty two point seven percent. This
- 23:42Speaker 1: is coming from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics April numbers.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Electricity is up eleven percent and fuel costs fuel oil
- 23:55Speaker 1: up eighty point five percent. Eighty point five percent. These
- 24:07Speaker 1: are the same people that mandate the shutdown of the
- 24:09Speaker 1: whole economic system. They spent trillions of dollars, sent people
- 24:15Speaker 1: checks to not work, to stay at home, which did
- 24:17Speaker 1: nothing to stop COVID. Now we have record high inflation
- 24:21Speaker 1: and the people in charge are surprised. They shouldn't be.
- 24:24Speaker 1: These are morons that are getting to rule over us.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Now that's not the only thing. You Look at what
- 24:32Speaker 1: they're doing on oil and gas right now. Gas prices
- 24:36Speaker 1: yesterday hit a new national record and what did Biden
- 24:41Speaker 1: do in response? And this is the fact, So understand
- 24:45Speaker 1: they're doing this on purpose, intentionally, They're not stupid. Gas
- 24:50Speaker 1: prices hit new record highs over five fifty five a
- 24:55Speaker 1: gallon for diesel and four fifty eight a gallon for
- 24:58Speaker 1: unleaded And what did Biden do the day that both
- 25:03Speaker 1: unleaded and diesel gas hit at all time new high
- 25:06Speaker 1: record high for the entire country. Ever, he canceled oil
- 25:11Speaker 1: and gas leases in Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico
- 25:15Speaker 1: on more than a million acres of land on the
- 25:21Speaker 1: same exact day. If you excuse me, if you think
- 25:27Speaker 1: that this isn't intentional, let me say that again. If
- 25:32Speaker 1: you think this isn't this is not being done intentionally,
- 25:38Speaker 1: you are stupid. They're wanting to make the American family
- 25:43Speaker 1: week so that you're dependent on the government for your survival.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Baby formula shortage is just one example. Inflation and rising
- 25:53Speaker 1: prices another example. They want you to be forced into
- 25:57Speaker 1: submission on traveling on bus or trains, or car pooling
- 26:02Speaker 1: or buying an electric vehicle. They don't care that you're
- 26:06Speaker 1: paying record prices at the pump, because if they did,
- 26:09Speaker 1: they sure as hell. On the same exact day that
- 26:11Speaker 1: we hit new records in both categories, Biden canceled oil
- 26:15Speaker 1: and gas leases in Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico
- 26:18Speaker 1: and more than a million acres on the same day
- 26:20Speaker 1: that we hit these all time highs. You know, White
- 26:24Speaker 1: House presecretary still not even admitting really that there's a
- 26:27Speaker 1: baby formulas shortage. She said, the FDA is working around
- 26:31Speaker 1: the clock to address any possible baby formulas shortage, implying
- 26:34Speaker 1: that may not be one. That's how insulting they are
- 26:39Speaker 1: to you as a parent, as a mother. They actually said,
- 26:41Speaker 1: we are working around the clock to address any possible
- 26:45Speaker 1: baby formula shortage. It's not a possibility, it is a reality.
- 26:49Speaker 1: There is growing concern about a persistent supply issue with
- 26:54Speaker 1: infant formula shortage right now. Major retailers is having to
- 26:59Speaker 1: limit how much people can buy, especially in cuton places
- 27:02Speaker 1: like Tennessee, Missouri, Iowa. This is partly an FBA issue,
- 27:07Speaker 1: but it could be a fine administration issue. Just wondering
- 27:09Speaker 1: if you guys are planning on taking any steps that
- 27:12Speaker 1: help remedy them. Well, let me first say, as you know,
- 27:15Speaker 1: but the FDA issue to recall to ensure that they
- 27:18Speaker 1: are meeting their obligation to protect the health of Americans,
- 27:20Speaker 1: including babies who of course we're receiving or taking this formula,
- 27:25Speaker 1: and ensure safe products are available. That's their job, ensuring
- 27:28Speaker 1: the availability of these products is also a priority for
- 27:32Speaker 1: the FDA, and they're working around the clock to address
- 27:34Speaker 1: any possible shortage. Okay, that is like hearing your name,
- 27:39Speaker 1: your voice on the b on the answering machine, which
- 27:42Speaker 1: I know that's a very outdated reference, but we've all
- 27:45Speaker 1: been there. Okay. So what the FDA is doing, which
- 27:50Speaker 1: while they are independent, they are part of the administration,
- 27:52Speaker 1: is taking another number of steps to address that includes
- 27:56Speaker 1: working with major infant formula manufacturers to ensure they're increasing
- 28:00Speaker 1: production because part of this issue is of course making
- 28:02Speaker 1: sure their stock on the shelves right and working with
- 28:06Speaker 1: the industry right now to optimize their supply lines product
- 28:09Speaker 1: sizes to increased capacity and prioritizing product lines that are
- 28:13Speaker 1: of greatest needs because obviously as someone who my child
- 28:16Speaker 1: has long been to add of formula fortunately, but it's
- 28:19Speaker 1: close enough that I remember when you're trying to go
- 28:21Speaker 1: to the store and get the specific kind of formula
- 28:24Speaker 1: for your age child or whatever their needs are. So
- 28:26Speaker 1: they are taking steps with that in mind. They're also
- 28:30Speaker 1: exercising flexibility and expediting review of notifications of manufacturing changes
- 28:35Speaker 1: that will help increase supply, particularly in the case of
- 28:38Speaker 1: specialized formula, so that applies to that as well for
- 28:41Speaker 1: medical needs. And they're also trying to streamline import entry
- 28:45Speaker 1: review process processes for already notified formula products coming from
- 28:50Speaker 1: notified foreign facilities. So what they're trying to do in
- 28:53Speaker 1: the shorthands of it is increased supply by working with
- 28:56Speaker 1: a range of manufacturers and what their capacity is to
- 28:59Speaker 1: ensure that the kinds of formula that was recalled is
- 29:03Speaker 1: where they're able to help insure it's on the shelves.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Might be a problem, right, We're working around the clock
- 29:10Speaker 1: to address any problem. When'd you know there was a
- 29:11Speaker 1: problem When we knew there's a problem technically last year,
- 29:14Speaker 1: and then we knew there was another problem when we
- 29:15Speaker 1: put a recall out and shut down a factory way
- 29:18Speaker 1: earlier this year. Nebraska mom says it's just become impossible
- 29:22Speaker 1: to find baby formula, and she's not a conservative. At
- 29:27Speaker 1: eleven months, Jacob Bowman's formula is still a big part
- 29:30Speaker 1: of his diet. He has a very specific brand new
- 29:33Speaker 1: Tramagin that he has to have due to allergy and
- 29:35Speaker 1: intolerance issues, and lately Jacob's mom, Shauna, says she hasn't
- 29:39Speaker 1: been able to find it out the store. We have
- 29:41Speaker 1: been having to look pretty heavily for it, I would say,
- 29:44Speaker 1: for the last four or five months, but this last
- 29:48Speaker 1: month it's just become impossible to find. So four or
- 29:51Speaker 1: five months, all these mothers have known there's a problem,
- 29:55Speaker 1: which means that the FDA knew there was a problem,
- 29:57Speaker 1: which means the Biden administration knew there was a problem.
- 30:00Speaker 1: It's becoming impossible to find baby formula. That's what they
- 30:03Speaker 1: want you to know. A good morning America. Saying it
- 30:05Speaker 1: this way this morning, a terrifying prospect for parents around
- 30:09Speaker 1: the country. Stores running out of baby formula, unable to restock.
- 30:14Speaker 1: He has a very specific brand new Tramagin that he
- 30:16Speaker 1: has to have due to allergy and intolerance issues. Yeah,
- 30:19Speaker 1: no big deal, right, intolerance issues. Another story, another parent,
- 30:24Speaker 1: and you can hear it right there, Jacksonville mother, I
- 30:27Speaker 1: cannot feed my son due to baby formula shortages. According
- 30:32Speaker 1: to Retail Analytics company Data Assembly, inventory of baby formula
- 30:36Speaker 1: available was down about a third in April because of inflation,
- 30:40Speaker 1: supply chain issues, and recalls, and for families whose options
- 30:43Speaker 1: are further limited by allergies, the situation is especially precarious.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Ashley Olson says her nine month old baby has to
- 30:51Speaker 1: have a specific formulas she orders straight from the manufacturer,
- 30:54Speaker 1: and there's no word on when it will be available again.
- 30:57Speaker 1: I can get Amazon delivered to my door, but I
- 31:00Speaker 1: cannot get food for my child. I cannot feed my son.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Don't worry. The Biden administration is on it. If there
- 31:08Speaker 1: is a possible shortage. They're still not admitting the shortage.
- 31:12Speaker 1: They're saying, if there is a possibility of a shortage possibility,
- 31:19Speaker 1: then we're looking into it. Four or five months they've
- 31:21Speaker 1: known about this, but now they're still saying it's a possibility.
- 31:24Speaker 1: If there's a possibility. But hey, at least we got
- 31:27Speaker 1: crack pipes out there for free, and then we'll say,
- 31:30Speaker 1: your conspiracy theorists, if you actually get one of the
