Speaker 1: stories that are connected to Canada now. And the reason

Speaker 1: conspiracy claim quote, it feels like an import to protest

Speaker 1: protest against the nation's strict coronavirus restrictions. They don't want

Speaker 1: you to know that this included, as I just said, motorbikes,

Speaker 1: cars and little trucks, not just eighteen wheelers. The people

Speaker 1: are standing up with a hardcore of protesters pledging to

Speaker 1: remain there as long as it takes. Reports have also

Speaker 1: serviced that others are planning to join in the protests

Speaker 1: from across the country over the next few days, as

Speaker 1: more New Zealanders are becoming brave, voicing their opposition to

Speaker 1: the mass mandates, giving credit to Canada for inspiring them

Speaker 1: for what they are now doing right now. If you

Speaker 1: also standing up with the truck drivers in Canada that

Speaker 1: are doing an incredible, amazing thing there is they're being

Speaker 1: persecuted twenty four seven now by the government. They're talking

Speaker 1: about taking away license from these drivers and pulling them

Speaker 1: from their trucks and arresting them. We've seen grandfathers that

Speaker 1: have been arrested and slammed to the ground for honking

Speaker 1: their horn once. We've seen people arrested for trying to

Speaker 1: support these truck drivers by giving them diesel gas to

Speaker 1: keep their trucks running. So they can literally stay warm

Speaker 1: in their cabs. You're a guy on paper, Cody, and

Speaker 1: I mentioned this earlier. That is supposed to be one

Speaker 1: of the big dogs in the trucking business of an

Speaker 1: empire that should obviously never get involved in something like this.

Speaker 1: Tell us a little bit about why you are so

Speaker 1: inspired and wanting to help lead the American truck drivers

Speaker 1: to basically stand up for their freedoms as well. Well.

Speaker 1: To begin with, I'm not representing any trucking company specifically.

Speaker 1: I've been involved in the trucking industry for my entire

Speaker 1: life in one way, shape or form. I got my

Speaker 1: start with my family business, but then I've gone on

Speaker 1: to do many other things. So I'm not representing anybody

Speaker 1: but myself in the trucking community, my friends, of course,

Speaker 1: my family, the people I love, they're truckers in one way,

Speaker 1: shape or form. And so, you know, we've been talking

Speaker 1: for a long time about how we can we can

Speaker 1: maybe make an impact in some way, shape or form

Speaker 1: to better our country. You know, we see where the

Speaker 1: country is going, and I think we were asleep for

Speaker 1: quite a while. I think we didn't realize what was happening.

Speaker 1: But now our eyes are wide open and we've been

Speaker 1: looking for like this to make a difference. Did you

Speaker 1: ever imagine that the community which you grew up in,

Speaker 1: which you work with, would ever be compared to domestic

Speaker 1: terrorists just for standing up for their basic rights, Because

Speaker 1: that is what has been happening all over the world,

Speaker 1: whether it's New Zealand, which I just mentioned the Prime Minister,

Speaker 1: they're saying that their extremists, this is coming from outside

Speaker 1: the country that they are these people are anarchists, and

Speaker 1: we're not going to tolerate what they're doing in New Zealand,

Speaker 1: which is the same thing they're doing in Canada. And

Speaker 1: we've seen now even in the media here in this

Speaker 1: country very clearly over the weekend they are trying to

Speaker 1: set a tone that anybody that gets involved in an

Speaker 1: American freedom convoy is a domestic terrorists there there, they

Speaker 1: are an anarchist. They deserve to be arrested and thrown

Speaker 1: in jail. Well, I think that's absolutely crazy. Um. I

Speaker 1: think we are Americans. I think we're patriotic. UM. I

Speaker 1: think we want better for our country. We're definitely not

Speaker 1: looking to hurt our country in any way. Um. We

Speaker 1: just you know, things are really changing so fast. Um,

Speaker 1: and it's scary where we want to go back in

Speaker 1: twenty years when you know, when I was little, I remember,

Speaker 1: you know, being so excited to be from the United

Speaker 1: States and to be in the position that I was,

Speaker 1: and and to be able to have the opportunities that

Speaker 1: we had. And I have four little boys, um here

Speaker 1: with being at home that you know, I look at

Speaker 1: and I think, what is the world going to be

Speaker 1: like for them? You know, what what are they going

Speaker 1: to miss out on? I want our country. We want

Speaker 1: our country back. We want that pride and that joy

Speaker 1: and hope to be shown in their eyes, you know.

Speaker 1: And I just don't want that light to go out.

Speaker 1: And I don't like the way we're being, Yeah, I

Speaker 1: mean as far as being domestic rorists, I mean, I

Speaker 1: think that's possibly the most absurd thing I've heard. We

Speaker 1: want to do everything we can to improve the country.

Speaker 1: We love the country. We just want the country back

Speaker 1: to the way it was, and we don't want all

Speaker 1: of these mandates. And you know, once that coronavirus was

Speaker 1: was something, I mean, it's been one thing after another

Speaker 1: that they've clipped us. They shut us down here, they

Speaker 1: shut us down there. I mean we were essential workers initially,

Speaker 1: so you know, I mean we were we needed to

Speaker 1: go to work. We needed to move that products to

Speaker 1: American confunction in two days, two to three days. If

Speaker 1: we're not moving products, the shelves are going to go bear. Um.

Speaker 1: You know, we're not willing to let that happen to America.

Speaker 1: So I think it's absurd. I mean, that's that's that's

Speaker 1: what I think. I think it's absolutely absurd. I want

Speaker 1: to play for you, um a monetage that we have

Speaker 1: put together, and this is the liberal media, the progressives

Speaker 1: and the media attacking the trucker convoys in Canada and

Speaker 1: they're mentioning what's happening in America. And you guys have

Speaker 1: Frontline healthcare workers are the first line of defense for

Speaker 1: public health matters. When they are upset, we should listen.

Speaker 1: It's time for the American truckers to stand with truckers

Speaker 1: all over the world. Don't be afraid to honk honk,

Speaker 1: which is a hashtag that has gone viral all over

Speaker 1: the world. Everybody loves freedom hanks. Now, if you honk

Speaker 1: right now in Canada, they will arrest you, even if

Speaker 1: you are a grandfather, which I think is incredibly sick.

Speaker 1: But I want you to hear the disdain that the

Speaker 1: media has for these truck drivers. In a montage that

Speaker 1: we put together, listen to this sedition. Insurrection a threat

Speaker 1: to democracy. The city is underseas. They are now calling

Speaker 1: it an occupation, alarming situation. They're in Ottawa. The police

Speaker 1: chief is calling it a nationwide insurrection driven by maddness.

Speaker 1: This is kind of our insurrection by airhorn moments. I

Speaker 1: think it's part of the globalization of Trump, as some

Speaker 1: Canadians know. Where I stand, there hasn't been as much

Speaker 1: violence as some had perhaps projected, but that does not

Speaker 1: necessarily mean that it has been peaceful. I love the

Speaker 1: last part there. You hear the media and they say

Speaker 1: things like, Wow, the truck drivers aren't as violent as

Speaker 1: we thought they were going to be, But doesn't mean

Speaker 1: that they've been quote totally peaceful, totally peaceful. Your reaction

Speaker 1: to the media talking this way about the truckers in Canada,

Speaker 1: it doesn't surprise me at all. I mean, I think

Speaker 1: that's what the media does nowadays, is I think they

Speaker 1: try to give the American public misperception after misperception, even

Speaker 1: though I think it's a way to brainwash us to

Speaker 1: some degree, to believe that maybe we're the minority, that

Speaker 1: with the majority. Most people don't feel like us. But

Speaker 1: but that's inaccurate. I think that's completely inaccurate. And I

Speaker 1: think that that everybody's heart is in the right spot.

Speaker 1: shut it down. They shut down the page terms of service.

Speaker 1: You know. Oh you guys, you know somebody said something

Speaker 1: on there. We don't like thought it was a threat.

Speaker 1: You guys might become violent, so therefore we're not going

Speaker 1: to let you organize. Are still in TIFA and Black

Speaker 1: Lives Matter pages up, which we know for a fact

Speaker 1: to burn down cities, burned down government buildings, burned down churches.

Speaker 1: But you guys try to organize online and this is

Speaker 1: what happens. They immediately try to shut you down. Why

Speaker 1: are truckers trying to organize right now? And what is

Speaker 1: the main goal as they organize here in this country

Speaker 1: to do something which is really to go across the

Speaker 1: entire country and have more and more truckers join in. Um,

Speaker 1: you know, I think it's it's big tech trying to

Speaker 1: control the narrative. I think that, you know, we're tired

Speaker 1: of them being able to control the narrative like they

Speaker 1: have though, So you know, blue collar workers, we're coming together,

Speaker 1: we're standing out for our freedoms, and you know, we're

Speaker 1: trying to make a strategic play to where things actually happened.

Speaker 1: I think, you know, we support Canada so much, and

Speaker 1: I think they're doing a wonderful job. But I think

Speaker 1: down here we want to have just a little bit

Speaker 1: different strategy and we hope to have a you know,

Speaker 1: a large impact, and we're hoping for change. You know,

Speaker 1: we're hoping to get back to the way it was

Speaker 1: before COVID got here. So, um, yeah, I think I

Speaker 1: think it's time that we stand up against big text. Well,

Speaker 1: when you look at the truck drivers that are trying

Speaker 1: to organize, now the what is the goal, what is

Speaker 1: the objective? Is it to send a message to the

Speaker 1: government that you can't dictate to us, that we must

Speaker 1: get vaccine, to go across the border and be treated

Speaker 1: the way that you're treating us. Because a lot of

Speaker 1: people don't understand that American truckers can't go into Canada

Speaker 1: and vice versa. It was clear that the Biden administration

Speaker 1: and Trudeau's administration were working together to have this happens

Speaker 1: basically simultaneously with these new rules. Truck drivers are clearly

Speaker 1: not super spreaders. You guys are in your and truck

Speaker 1: drivers are in their cab ninety plus percent of the time,

Speaker 1: isolated in a closed capsule by themselves. These people are

Speaker 1: not a threat to society, and yet they're still trying

Speaker 1: to act like that's exactly what they are, a threat

Speaker 1: to society. Yeah, we're looking for policy change, We're we're

Speaker 1: looking to get our freedoms back. We don't want these mandates.

Speaker 1: We just want to get back to the freedoms that

Speaker 1: are in the Constitution, the freedoms that we stand up

Speaker 1: were the freedoms that we believe in the whole time

Speaker 1: drawn up. And you know, uh, you know, we're just

Speaker 1: tired of all those all the restrictions being placed upon

Speaker 1: us and the way that everybody's being treated, not just

Speaker 1: the trucker, the way that it's affecting all all industries

Speaker 1: in the United States in one way of shape or form.

Speaker 1: We just we just want we want the ability to

Speaker 1: decide whether we're going to put something in our body

Speaker 1: or not. We want the ability to decide whether we're

Speaker 1: going to put a mask over our face. So we

Speaker 1: just want America back. What is it that the people

Speaker 1: that are going to hear this? And I hope that

Speaker 1: who these truckers are before the media tries to turn

Speaker 1: them into domestic terrorists in this country. But what is

Speaker 1: it that we can do to help? How are the

Speaker 1: funds that are going to be raised going to be used?

Speaker 1: And other people are going to ask, and I say

Speaker 1: this because I know the media how they're going to

Speaker 1: try to do this. They're gonna say, oh, these funds

Speaker 1: are going to be misappropriated. This is exactly what they

Speaker 1: try to do with go fund me in Canada. So

Speaker 1: what are the funds if someone donates to support these truckers,

Speaker 1: what are those funds going to be used for? Well,

Speaker 1: most of us are not you know, super wealthy individuals,

Speaker 1: and so the cost of getting out to Washington, DC

Speaker 1: is going to be substantial to many guys. And we

Speaker 1: don't want certain guys to be cut out because maybe

Speaker 1: they can't afford to get there. You know, it could

Speaker 1: cost up to five thousand dollars for some people, you know,

Speaker 1: just in fuel to get up there. So this fund

Speaker 1: has been set up to assist those people that don't

Speaker 1: have the wherewithal to maybe take off work for two

Speaker 1: weeks or to even lose a check. So, you know,

Speaker 1: we're putting it this fund together, and we're really excited

Speaker 1: about it. We're going to give it directly to the truckers,

Speaker 1: and you know, we're just looking to give everyone of

Speaker 1: the opportunity to participate in something is as amazing as this.

Speaker 1: We've heard that the truckers were going to start and

Speaker 1: even as far away as Alaska, we've heard that they're

Speaker 1: going to start in California. How is this going to

Speaker 1: unfold and where is this going to really start So
